- 0:11Speaker 1: Good afternoon, boys. How are we feeling?
- 0:14Speaker 2: Feeling great.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Feeling optimistic.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm reading a text from Nick. It says,
- 0:19Speaker 3: can we do Wagamamas for post-show food, please?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I love Wagamamas. What's Wagamamas? Well, that's one of
- 0:25Speaker 1: the reasons I'm feeling optimistic is because I started thinking
- 0:28Speaker 1: about the Soba Noodle Bowl, which I haven't had in
- 0:30Speaker 1: a very long time. Soba Noodle Bowl. This is not
- 0:32Speaker 1: an ad. There's also the Udon Bowl, which is phenomenal. Kevin,
- 0:36Speaker 1: your life has changed. Shout out Wagamons. This episode is
- 0:38Speaker 1: not brought to you by Wagamons, but it could be
- 0:40Speaker 1: for a price. But I'm feeling optimistic because the Giants
- 0:45Speaker 1: played today. The New York Giants did what they always
- 0:47Speaker 1: should do, and they didn't lose. They didn't lose. They
- 0:49Speaker 1: didn't lose. We didn't win, but we'll take a tie. Yeah. Listen,
- 0:55Speaker 1: a push is as good as a win. That's right.
- 0:57Speaker 1: At the casino and at football. A push is a win.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Speaking of sports, we were in Washington, D.C. this week
- 1:03Speaker 1: performing at the Savannah Bananas Banana Bowl. It was exceptional.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You know, for those of you who are unaware of
- 1:13Speaker 1: what a Savannah Banana is. Who have been living under
- 1:16Speaker 1: a rock. Yeah. How would you describe this?
- 1:19Speaker 3: If an alien's landed today and they said, All right,
- 1:22Speaker 3: show me the most interesting thing human beings do.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I would say. That would be one of them. There's
- 1:26Speaker 1: this game that we played for over 100 years called baseball.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:34Speaker 1: But somebody woke up with the genius idea to turn
- 1:37Speaker 1: baseball into a spectacle. More music, please. His name is
- 1:43Speaker 1: Jesse Cole, and this all begins about 11 years ago
- 1:46Speaker 1: when he stumbles into a shop and finds a yellow suit.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm making this part up, but this could be the story.
- 1:52Speaker 1: He then decides, what if I put a bunch of
- 1:55Speaker 1: baseball players in fun outfits and change the rules a
- 1:58Speaker 1: bit to allow for trick plays to count as points?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Only at the end of the game, whoever has the
- 2:04Speaker 1: most trick plays gets a point. It's so confusing. And
- 2:07Speaker 1: just to make it even more exciting. They're attractive. They're attractive.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And they dance. Some have abs. And they dance. Nine
- 2:17Speaker 1: out of ten players have abs. So, all jokes aside,
- 2:20Speaker 1: the Savannah Bananas and the whole Banana League has absolutely
- 2:23Speaker 1: blown up in the last couple of years. I think
- 2:24Speaker 1: social media had a big part of that.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I played a kickball game at the Savannah Bananas Stadium
- 2:28Speaker 3: back in about, well, six years ago. And we played
- 2:33Speaker 3: a kickball game for a wrap party for a movie.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And I remember meeting him. Jesse Cole.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Jay Cole, as I like to say. He was wearing
- 2:41Speaker 3: a yellow suit, and he was like, you guys gotta
- 2:44Speaker 3: come to the game. I was like, I've heard about it.
- 2:45Speaker 3: It sounds pretty interesting. And then, blink, six years later,
- 2:48Speaker 3: and it's sold out stadiums.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Stadiums everywhere. So apparently the wait list to get access
- 2:54Speaker 1: to the lottery to get tickets is four to five
- 2:57Speaker 1: million people. It's insane. So we performed at the end
- 3:01Speaker 1: of the game performance, which they do at every Banana Bowl. Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And it's between the top... of the ninth and the
- 3:08Speaker 1: bottom of the ninth and it was really incredible i
- 3:11Speaker 1: loved it i had such a good time it was
- 3:13Speaker 1: such a fun show watching the fans of savannah bananas
- 3:17Speaker 1: interact not only with you know the players in the
- 3:20Speaker 1: field they call them cast members but also with each
- 3:23Speaker 1: other it was like a really kind and warm environment.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Speculate if they knew who was going to win i
- 3:28Speaker 3: think they really play because you can definitely see somebody said.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Did you enjoy the the show today and i was
- 3:33Speaker 1: like The whole thing's a show. I thought you guys
- 3:36Speaker 1: were playing baseball. They also may have been asking you
- 3:38Speaker 1: if you enjoyed the show that you performed. That is true.
- 3:41Speaker 1: My girls absolutely loved it.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Alina and Valentina, they flew in with Danielle, my wife,
- 3:46Speaker 4: and they had a ball and they got to meet
- 3:50Speaker 4: John Cena. I've never seen, Valentina cried when John Cena
- 3:53Speaker 4: came out of the Humvee, like as a surprise. She literally,
- 3:56Speaker 4: she was like so excited.
- 3:58Speaker 1: That's what it's about. He's a powerful presence, John Cena.
- 4:01Speaker 1: They said powerful president. He heads the state. He's a
- 4:05Speaker 1: film president. He's such a kind man. The way he
- 4:08Speaker 1: speaks to everyone and the way he interacts. He locks in.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He locks in. He's a great guy. I got really
- 4:15Speaker 1: nervous when I met him. My words were fumbled. Valentina said,
- 4:19Speaker 1: his hands were as huge as my head. He does
- 4:22Speaker 1: have large hands. That's how she said it too. Before
- 4:25Speaker 1: we went to D.C. for that very fun performance at
- 4:27Speaker 1: the Savannah Bananas, we were in Atlanta about to head
- 4:32Speaker 1: down to Birmingham, Alabama. Yeah, for our show. Which, you know,
- 4:37Speaker 1: our team was tracking the weather alongside many, many other
- 4:40Speaker 1: team members across Live Nation, our tour sponsor, and the
- 4:46Speaker 1: venue itself, the local authorities. And obviously, we were all
- 4:50Speaker 1: tracking the news. And just as a kind of baseline perspective,
- 4:54Speaker 1: For us, it is the most important thing that our band,
- 4:58Speaker 1: our crew, the folks who are working at the venue, and,
- 5:02Speaker 1: of course, our fans are safe. That is the bottom line,
- 5:06Speaker 1: most important top priority. And as they were tracking everything
- 5:10Speaker 1: and we were getting hourly updates and forced with a
- 5:13Speaker 1: really tough decision to either keep the show on or not,
- 5:16Speaker 1: based on what Hurricane Isaiah was doing, at a certain
- 5:19Speaker 1: point after these conversations, we made the very tough call
- 5:21Speaker 1: to postpone the show. Yeah. which is never an easy
- 5:24Speaker 1: thing to do. We know that people have come and
- 5:26Speaker 1: they've spent their money on hotel rooms, on flights, parking.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You know, there's lots of factors. We know it's tough.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And it also bears a financial consequence for us as well,
- 5:35Speaker 1: which we have to navigate and figure out. But at
- 5:37Speaker 1: the end of the day, what is most important is
- 5:39Speaker 1: that people are safe. Rule number one. Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And so we made the decision to change the date,
- 5:45Speaker 3: but we have a new date. And so now people
- 5:47Speaker 3: are aware that November 6th now, our new show.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yeah, November 6th. We're going back.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Because I know there was speculation of like, oh, they're
- 5:52Speaker 3: just going to cancel and not come back.
- 5:54Speaker 1: It's like, we're coming back. So if you can make it,
- 5:56Speaker 1: please be there. We'd love to see you guys again.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And we'll put on a good old show for you.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It'll be super fun. But we'd rather say than sorry.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. And also, I think you said something best, Nick.
- 6:05Speaker 4: You said, we don't know what we don't know. And
- 6:08Speaker 4: it's like, it could be not that bad. It could
- 6:12Speaker 4: have been really serious.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And people could have been stranded at the venue as
- 6:16Speaker 1: the weather comes in. And then it's a major issue. Well,
- 6:19Speaker 1: people are also driving like two hours from home south. Totally.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You look up and it's okay. It's just mild winds
- 6:26Speaker 1: and a storm and you have to navigate that. But
- 6:28Speaker 1: the reality is you don't know what you don't know
- 6:30Speaker 1: and you never regret making the safe choice. I think
- 6:32Speaker 1: that was the whole point of us having those conversations. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And so instead we diverted from Atlanta to D.C. and
- 6:40Speaker 1: we safely got our crew and our band and got
- 6:44Speaker 1: the messaging out there beforehand. to go and be there
- 6:47Speaker 1: for the next day for the Bananas performance. Yeah. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: will say it was interesting. I saw one or two comments,
- 6:52Speaker 1: people were like, oh, they canceled the show or postponed
- 6:54Speaker 1: it because they were performing at the Banana Bowl. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: I never do this. I was very tempted to respond,
- 7:00Speaker 1: different day. And also, do you know about planes? Because
- 7:05Speaker 1: that's how you get from one place to the other.
- 7:07Speaker 1: The plan was to always go to D.C. to do
- 7:08Speaker 1: the Bananas. Yeah, it wasn't changed because of the Banana Bowl.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We wouldn't ever do that. But I'm glad I didn't respond.
- 7:16Speaker 1: And this podcast has become a great place to just
- 7:19Speaker 1: acknowledge that we're chronically online, people. Yeah, we see it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So what else is going on? What are you guys
- 7:24Speaker 1: into these days? I'm getting into lots of things on
- 7:30Speaker 1: this tour. I'm sending my bowling balls out. I have
- 7:32Speaker 1: two bowling balls and shoes. Two as in like a
- 7:35Speaker 1: first set? A set. Do you have a strike ball?
- 7:38Speaker 1: You have a spare ball. I'm having it shipped. This
- 7:40Speaker 1: is the bougiest thing I've done this week. I'm having
- 7:42Speaker 1: my bowling ball shipped.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Nick looked at me and said, I just shipped my
- 7:46Speaker 4: bowling balls to your house. Yesterday I was like sick.
- 7:49Speaker 4: So I'm flying home tomorrow for the day off. I'm
- 7:51Speaker 4: bringing my bowling balls back with me then?
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. Because we're in some of these cities and
- 7:55Speaker 1: as the weather's changing while we're on tour, golf is
- 7:58Speaker 1: not really an option. Yeah. A nice little group activity
- 8:00Speaker 1: is probably a good idea. If I'm going to be
- 8:02Speaker 1: stuck inside because the weather's not great, I'm going to
- 8:05Speaker 1: go bowling. Yeah, man. Light it up.
- 8:07Speaker 4: God, I love bowling so much. I was on the
- 8:09Speaker 4: varsity bowling team in high school.
- 8:10Speaker 3: You were?
- 8:11Speaker 1: Nerd alert. Hey. I don't have a nerd button. Whoa.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I had a yellow polo that was a bowling shirt.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You're not helping yourself here. We were the Eagles.
- 8:23Speaker 2: It was great.
- 8:24Speaker 1: The other thing that we did, we were in Miami
- 8:26Speaker 1: for about a week for a couple days off, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: the tour show there, Priyanka and Malti Marie came out.
- 8:33Speaker 1: We had a great time hanging out at Joe's house
- 8:35Speaker 1: a bunch. It looked like you guys had a ball.
- 8:38Speaker 1: It was so fun. We had a bowling ball. Miami
- 8:40Speaker 1: is just, it's incredible. It's having a moment. And one
- 8:43Speaker 1: of my dogs are now here. Back. Yeah, you got
- 8:46Speaker 1: your dog back.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah. Some people are saying, did he get a new dog?
- 8:50Speaker 3: That is my dog, Penelope. I'm getting all three dogs back.
- 8:54Speaker 3: But I had to navigate some things.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Some things. Some life stuff. Some life stuff. You know.
- 9:01Speaker 3: My three dogs have been living with an amazing trainer
- 9:04Speaker 3: for the last like three years. And I've been able
- 9:06Speaker 3: to visit them. But now I finally get to have
- 9:08Speaker 3: them back. But there's allergies that I need to be
- 9:09Speaker 3: sensitive to. They'll be with you.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Until they're not. And they'll be with someone who loves
- 9:16Speaker 1: and cares about them and is feeding them. And when
- 9:19Speaker 1: I have the time where there's no allergies to be
- 9:21Speaker 1: aware of. Navigated. Navigated, thank you. Then they'll be with me.
- 9:25Speaker 3: But it's kind of like Penelope's become a tour dog already.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, she was in the dressing room at Miami and
- 9:31Speaker 1: she was like perfect. Thrilled to be back at home.
- 9:34Speaker 1: She is. And it's so fun to have her around.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It was laid out. It was awesome. She's a vibe.
- 9:39Speaker 1: The other thing that happened this week was just really
- 9:42Speaker 1: exciting is the podcast got its very first nomination. That's right.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Kids Choice Awards 2026. That's right. We received three nominations,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I believe. We got three nominations. Best group. Best group
- 9:55Speaker 1: for the Christmas movie. For the Christmas movie and for
- 9:57Speaker 1: the best podcast of all time. Of all time. Of
- 10:01Speaker 1: those three, I would be happiest if we won the
- 10:05Speaker 1: podcast award. Is it a campaign for the podcast award? Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 1: of course it's fan votes. It's Kids Choice Awards. It's
- 10:11Speaker 1: their choice. It's kids voted. It's kids voted. Okay.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Alex Warren is hosting the evening. He's going to be
- 10:15Speaker 3: on the pod actually very soon. I could maybe give
- 10:17Speaker 3: him some to make sure that we get that award.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You're going to bribe some Alex Warren vibes?
- 10:21Speaker 1: I'm going to bribe Alex for this award. On the 14th, we're,
- 10:25Speaker 1: if I'm not mistaken, we're in San Antonio, Texas. So
- 10:29Speaker 1: we won't be able to attend in person, but perhaps
- 10:30Speaker 1: we can shoot a little video and you can convince Mr.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Alex Warren to help us out there. Help us out.
- 10:37Speaker 1: If there's a guy. You and DNC got slimed one
- 10:40Speaker 1: year at the KCAs. Did you enjoy the feeling of
- 10:44Speaker 1: the slime? I think it tastes delicious. We got slimed together.
- 10:47Speaker 1: With The Rock.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I got slimed a few times when I hosted the
- 10:50Speaker 1: show back in 2015. Tastes good. It got shot into
- 10:54Speaker 1: my ear when I was doing one of the promos,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and it was really not chill. It's heavy. It really
- 10:59Speaker 1: is heavy, though. Well, it's like pudding.
- 11:00Speaker 4: It's supposed to taste good. The whole idea was, right?
- 11:02Speaker 4: It was like, it's supposed to taste good, because if
- 11:03Speaker 4: it's terrible.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It doesn't taste good. It's oatmeal and... Green food dye,
- 11:07Speaker 1: and it's like, it's not. It's fun. I mean, it's fun.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It's fun. Multimurray just discovered sliming, and she wants to
- 11:17Speaker 1: be involved. I said, a few more years. Just glad
- 11:20Speaker 1: that it's still a thing. We didn't host. You hosted. Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 4: And then they, I think they ushered us to showers
- 11:27Speaker 4: after this, but we decided not to take the showers.
- 11:29Speaker 1: We decided to go to dinner in our slime. Yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Straight to Craig's. Shout out Craigs. Shout out Craigs. Speaking
- 11:35Speaker 1: of Dwayne The Rock Johnson, I just found out the
- 11:38Speaker 1: date for the world premiere of Jumanji 3. You did? Nice. Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: the premiere's on December 16th, and we don't happen to
- 11:47Speaker 1: have a show that night, so I'll be able to attend.
- 11:49Speaker 1: That's awesome. You guys should come too. If I'm there,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm there.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, we've got to have the cast on Hey Jonas podcast.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I know.
- 11:55Speaker 1: We've got to do it. Yeah, cast pod. Cast pod.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Cast pod cast pod the whole past the whole past
- 12:03Speaker 3: the whole past I think Kevin.
- 12:04Speaker 1: For sure will be down and Mr. Jack Black we
- 12:07Speaker 1: just gotta track down the others they'll be busy promoting
- 12:10Speaker 1: the movie.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah cause this movie you guys last time you guys
- 12:14Speaker 4: did a promotional tour didn't you guys go to like
- 12:16Speaker 4: five countries at least yeah it was nuts and what
- 12:20Speaker 4: was funny is when I went in for my fitting
- 12:22Speaker 4: they had the original costume which it's been ten years
- 12:24Speaker 4: since the last movie no way and it fit like
- 12:26Speaker 4: a glove I was so happy.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That's a good feeling. That's probably the greatest feeling. Yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 1: It was special. Anyway, go see Jumanji when it comes
- 12:36Speaker 1: out in theaters. Totally. In a couple months.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Actually, speaking of the Savannah Bananas, I did have a
- 12:41Speaker 3: pretty intense moment during the performance during the Savannah Bananas
- 12:44Speaker 3: last night, though.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 12:45Speaker 4: I was totally in the mode, and I had intrusive thought,
- 12:47Speaker 4: and I grabbed the waffle that was part of the
- 12:49Speaker 4: decoration during Waffle House.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly that one. And I bit it.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Turns out it was a stack of three waffles deep
- 12:56Speaker 3: and probably bread that had been sitting out all day.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I legit thought I was going to choke on national
- 13:01Speaker 4: television and die.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Like I was like, it's not going down. I have
- 13:04Speaker 1: no water.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I would have not noticed you were gone until at
- 13:07Speaker 3: least three songs later as I was focused on, because during,
- 13:11Speaker 3: I'm glad you're alive.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 13:12Speaker 3: During the sound check, I walked through, I walked through stilts,
- 13:16Speaker 3: which is one of the baseball players who was, he's
- 13:17Speaker 3: on stilts naturally. And I bumped into him and almost
- 13:20Speaker 3: took him out. And then the whole, I was just,
- 13:22Speaker 3: my anxiety was like, Oh man, like you're going to
- 13:24Speaker 3: take this guy out on live TV.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And I would have missed the fact that you were
- 13:28Speaker 1: in need of help. And I don't want stilts to
- 13:31Speaker 1: get injured ever. Obviously that's the safety first, just like
- 13:35Speaker 1: the show. I mean, if, if you're a person who,
- 13:38Speaker 1: who does stilts performances and people are walking through your legs,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you've fallen a few times, right? Definitely.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I think you've fallen now that I think the goal
- 13:47Speaker 4: is to still not fall, though.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, of course. It's like anything in life. The
- 13:51Speaker 1: goal is to not fall, but you're going to fall.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I agree.
- 13:54Speaker 1: How do you get off? I think you have to
- 13:58Speaker 1: get on a ladder and go, you know what I mean? Oh, right.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Because he wears long pants to cover the thing that
- 14:04Speaker 3: you have to untie. So I'm like, there must be
- 14:05Speaker 3: some Velcro. I think he can jump down.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Remember the Velcro pants that were like all the craze
- 14:10Speaker 1: in 2000, 2001? Jango? Or like the zip. Yeah. And
- 14:15Speaker 1: suddenly you're in shorts. Oh. That was sick. That was
- 14:19Speaker 1: something else. Yeah. Remember what Old Navy had? Like the
- 14:21Speaker 1: swishy version. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 4: And then, Joe, you did do something that they didn't
- 14:26Speaker 4: catch on camera, which I was pretty disappointed about.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I know. When we got to the party animals moment.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That's a team. Yeah. So they're a team. And they
- 14:34Speaker 1: had a beer pong set up. And I sunk. My shot.
- 14:38Speaker 1: First shot. You did that in rehearsal twice as well.
- 14:41Speaker 1: In a row. In a row.
- 14:42Speaker 3: When there's no alcohol to be drunk, and I guess
- 14:45Speaker 3: I'm better at it. That's probably true for life in general.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's facts. Maybe you should join one of those, like,
- 14:51Speaker 1: the Ocho, like, beer pong leagues. Maybe. Put me in.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But they missed it on camera. But you guys saw it, so.
- 14:58Speaker 1: We saw it. You know who else saw it? The
- 15:00Speaker 1: party animals. The party animals. Party animals, they know. They know.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I think it's time we do something fun and we
- 15:04Speaker 1: go back and we play Clip It. Clip It. Clip It. Well,
- 15:08Speaker 1: let's find out. Come with us. Clip it. Clip it, Kev.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Clip it. Clip it. Clip it. Clip it. Clip it.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Clip it. On that note. Clip it. Really big fan
- 15:19Speaker 1: of our new Clip It audio. I love it. Clip it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Clip it. Okay.
- 15:23Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Would you rather be sticky
- 15:26Speaker 2: or itchy?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Oh, God. Speaking of slime, would you rather be sticky
- 15:32Speaker 1: or itchy? Sticky or itchy. What are you itchy from? Yeah.
- 15:39Speaker 1: What are you sticky from? Less concerned. I think I
- 15:43Speaker 1: would prefer to be itchy. Really? Oh, God. I think
- 15:47Speaker 1: neither is good, but sticky is better. There's nothing worse
- 15:50Speaker 1: than when you don't put your bug spray on around
- 15:55Speaker 1: your ankles overnight and you're just in the middle while
- 15:59Speaker 1: you're sleeping. You got the itch. You got the itch.
- 16:03Speaker 3: You guys are right you actually sold me I'm going
- 16:05Speaker 3: back to sticky I'm going sticky You can fix that
- 16:09Speaker 3: faster Yeah Does.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Lightning McQueen have car insurance Or life insurance.
- 16:18Speaker 4: I'm going to go with They're one in the same
- 16:19Speaker 4: in the Cars universe They have a Disney fast pass
- 16:23Speaker 4: What kind of coverage does that give you Speed It
- 16:29Speaker 4: gives you speed and dental And dental.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I think they do have good teeth. Ding! Here's a
- 16:35Speaker 1: hot take. In a world where cars are... Alive. Alive.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Car insurance would be... Life insurance? Life insurance. That's what
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm saying. I think they're one and the same. Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Would you rather have 500k now or flip a coin
- 16:48Speaker 2: for one million dollars?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Damn. This feels like a question that maybe... You know,
- 16:54Speaker 1: people will get frustrated for our answer. So we're going
- 16:57Speaker 1: to flip the coin. I think we got to do it.
- 16:59Speaker 1: We're going to flip the coin. Here's the go. Wait
- 17:01Speaker 1: a minute. Hold on. Who's got a coin? All right.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Are you going to give me a million dollars? Who's
- 17:05Speaker 1: got a coin? Let's see if you actually got the
- 17:07Speaker 1: million dollars. Hey, Siri, flip a coin. Say heads or tails. Heads. Hey, Siri,
- 17:12Speaker 1: flip a coin. Tails. Now I switched it because he
- 17:15Speaker 1: flipped it twice. It's tails. Hand it over, Kevin. Nick asked.
- 17:21Speaker 1: He takes Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Apple Cash.
- 17:27Speaker 2: You can erase one thing from your existence. Traffic, mosquitoes, Mondays,
- 17:32Speaker 2: or alarm clocks.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yo, mosquitoes. I don't know. We probably need those, right?
- 17:37Speaker 3: They carry disease, and they make you itch, and they suck.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Blood. Can we get a... I actually would like to
- 17:44Speaker 1: know this. What's the good about them? Yeah, what's the
- 17:46Speaker 1: good thing about mosquitoes that we're not aware of? Because
- 17:48Speaker 1: there has to be one. I.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I don't think there is. There's gotta be. They've been
- 17:53Speaker 1: around too long, bro.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Just like in Lilo and Stitch, this entire planet is
- 17:57Speaker 4: probably just their... They literally make the joke about mosquitoes
- 18:01Speaker 4: in Lilo and Stitch, the cartoon, the original one.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Oh, they say it's a mosquito planet. You can't touch anybody.
- 18:06Speaker 1: You can't do anything.
- 18:07Speaker 4: They just want to evaporate, like destroy the entire planet.
- 18:09Speaker 4: But that's the mosquito habitat.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Everything comes back to Lilo and Stitch. It actually does.
- 18:12Speaker 2: So they help out with plant pollination.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Kevin.
- 18:14Speaker 2: They're a food source for wildlife as well.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Kevin's against big mosquito. I am. Take down big mosquito. Well,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm not eating them. That's right. Eating mosquito. What? Well,
- 18:25Speaker 1: he says they're a source of food. Does anybody eat them? Humans?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Humans don't, but other creatures in the ecosystem.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Are we sure that humans don't?
- 18:32Speaker 2: We're not sure about that.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Can we ask the overlords what would happen if mosquitoes
- 18:36Speaker 4: were no longer here?
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's what Kevin refers to them as, because he's all
- 18:39Speaker 1: in on AI. He's all about big AI. Overlords. Is
- 18:42Speaker 1: that what we call it? What does that mean? That's
- 18:44Speaker 1: my new joke going for a couple days, see how
- 18:46Speaker 1: it lands.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Overlords. If all 3,500 species of mosquitoes went extinct, the
- 18:51Speaker 2: impact would span global health, food webs, and water systems.
- 18:54Speaker 2: There'd be a decline in pollination, most importantly.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'd be cooked is what you're saying. So
- 18:58Speaker 1: mosquitoes are fine. They're staying in. They can stay around.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I would personally like to get rid of traffic.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I agree. I think it's 2026. We could figure this out.
- 19:08Speaker 3: If cars are going to drive themselves everywhere soon, Will
- 19:12Speaker 3: they figure that out?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Yes, because then everybody can go. It's like the movie with...
- 19:17Speaker 4: Lilo and Stitch. Yeah, Lilo and Stitch. It's like the
- 19:20Speaker 4: movie Cars, actually. It's actually, yes.
- 19:23Speaker 1: But Lilo's driving the car. After we become Disney legends,
- 19:26Speaker 1: we just have to talk about Disney movies the whole time.
- 19:28Speaker 4: My whole thing is if every car is autonomous, that
- 19:31Speaker 4: means we can go 10 to 100 times faster. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 4: but you can't predict when people are going to drive still.
- 19:37Speaker 4: But then everything... No, no. If every car is autonomous... Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 4: there would be no traffic, and there would be no
- 19:43Speaker 4: speed limits.
- 19:44Speaker 1: We wouldn't know. We don't know that. No, think about it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: If every car knew exactly what every other car was doing.
- 19:50Speaker 3: But you can't predict when people are going to be like,
- 19:52Speaker 3: I can be like right now, be like, I'm going
- 19:54Speaker 3: to get in the car and go. And then it's
- 19:55Speaker 3: like 40,000 people just decided to leave the same time.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And it folds you into the algorithm. You said that
- 20:01Speaker 1: like it was just true. And it's just not. I
- 20:03Speaker 1: think it is true. I'd like to, I'd like to.
- 20:07Speaker 1: We'll come back to this.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Would you rather live in space or under the sea?
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they're one and the same. I mean, we famously
- 20:13Speaker 1: sing about how we're all going to be living under
- 20:14Speaker 1: the sea. Under the sea. In the year 3000. So
- 20:18Speaker 1: it's got to be that. I'm not going up there.
- 20:21Speaker 1: We're not meant to go up there, guys. And no
- 20:23Speaker 1: one has proven that we've gone up there. Okay. Prove
- 20:27Speaker 1: that we've gone up there.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Which of you three Jonas Brothers would survive a zombie apocalypse?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Had a dream about this last night. Because the clip
- 20:33Speaker 1: of Jon Bernthal. From Walking Dead, like the moment where
- 20:37Speaker 1: he starts the war or whatever. No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 20:41Speaker 1: That one? No, where he just walks up and you've
- 20:43Speaker 1: seen it. It's a crazy clip. I don't think I've
- 20:46Speaker 1: seen that. He's one of my favorite actors. He's great.
- 20:49Speaker 1: We'd love to have him on the pod. So my
- 20:50Speaker 1: dream was about a zombie apocalypse. And I had in
- 20:54Speaker 1: this dream, I was given a mandate that I had
- 20:56Speaker 1: five hours to get my affairs in order to get
- 21:00Speaker 1: all my stuff done. and get in the car and
- 21:02Speaker 1: go to a safe place. Wow. And it was actually
- 21:05Speaker 1: really interesting because I sort of like did it in
- 21:08Speaker 1: my dream of like, what would be the more important
- 21:10Speaker 1: things to grab? You had like a visceral dream. So
- 21:12Speaker 1: like you were in control? Yeah, no, totally. I was
- 21:15Speaker 1: like thinking through it. I was one of one of those.
- 21:17Speaker 1: There was rules. Let me just walk through. I had
- 21:19Speaker 1: three bags. One for me, one for Priyanka, one for
- 21:21Speaker 1: Malton Marie. I had to fill and they were the
- 21:23Speaker 1: size of like a large duffel bag, like a hockey
- 21:25Speaker 1: duffel bag. It's go bags. It was interesting. You should
- 21:27Speaker 1: think about that. What would you grab from your house
- 21:30Speaker 1: if you had five hours? This is to survive, not
- 21:33Speaker 1: just your belongings. You're going to need bread, for instance.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm bringing my currency, Pokemon cards. I did think about that.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Because I'm thinking they can fit in a bag and
- 21:41Speaker 3: they'd be worth something even more. Yeah, kindling in the fire.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Future relic, you know? When money is no longer a thing.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be like, yo, you want a Charizard, bro?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Then it's going to be about collectibles. What do you
- 21:51Speaker 1: have that I want? It's going to be about medicine.
- 21:54Speaker 1: To somebody, that's a collectible. Kevin will bring a bunch
- 21:57Speaker 1: of mosquitoes with him. In his autonomous car. Yep. All right,
- 22:02Speaker 1: so I'm going to go with... I would, because I've
- 22:08Speaker 1: had this dream. Okay. You haven't had the dream yet.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think I have thought about it a lot. What
- 22:13Speaker 1: if you had the dream? Because I have to think
- 22:14Speaker 1: about getting to my kids. I don't know, Joe.
- 22:16Speaker 3: You said that the first thing you'd do is you'd
- 22:18Speaker 3: bring your Pokemon cards.
- 22:22Speaker 1: He asked what I would grab. He didn't give me
- 22:24Speaker 1: time to say the rest. Yeah, the rest. I get
- 22:27Speaker 1: all my other cool stuff. Got it. I would also
- 22:31Speaker 1: grab water. All right. I'd also grab my passport. You
- 22:37Speaker 1: won't need your passport. I need to get out. I
- 22:39Speaker 1: need to go get my kids. So yeah. Well, yeah. Okay.
- 22:42Speaker 3: But this plane, you're at this point, you're going to
- 22:44Speaker 3: come into your plane and go to London. I will
- 22:46Speaker 3: figure that out, but I'm going to just in case
- 22:48Speaker 3: planes are still an option.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Okay. I'm going to commandeer your plane. Watch too many movies. Yeah,
- 22:55Speaker 1: we do. Okay. It's coming back.
- 22:58Speaker 2: We're doing one more, and it is, which type of
- 23:01Speaker 2: bread do you think you could throw further, a baguette
- 23:04Speaker 2: or a naan bread?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Oh, definitely baguette.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I could throw a naan like a frisbee. Ooh.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Actually, you know what, Joe? You might be right. I
- 23:10Speaker 1: could throw back a shit ton of naan bread, but
- 23:14Speaker 1: I don't think that's what you're asking.
- 23:15Speaker 3: I think I could whip naan bread so far. You
- 23:16Speaker 3: guys would be like, that bro. I think it's not very,
- 23:19Speaker 3: it's going to rip apart. I think the baguette can
- 23:20Speaker 3: whip harder.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'm going to, no. My naan bread, I'm going to, like,
- 23:23Speaker 1: what is that, frisbee, naan bread. That's what I'm doing.
- 23:26Speaker 2: So we've got two naans and a baguette.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Let's go see two nuns in a baguette walking to
- 23:31Speaker 1: a bar. Well, let's find out. Come with us. No
- 23:35Speaker 1: one was harmed and will still eat the bread. We
- 23:37Speaker 1: will not eat all the bread, but the bread will
- 23:39Speaker 1: be eaten by everyone in our crew. And no, this
- 23:42Speaker 1: will not be one of those things you can cancel
- 23:45Speaker 1: us for. Keep trying. I'm still going to eat this
- 23:48Speaker 1: soon enough.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Five second rule. Yeah, five second rule.
- 23:52Speaker 3: It's better.
- 23:53Speaker 1: It's better.
- 23:53Speaker 4: It's in effect.
- 23:54Speaker 1: The five second rule is in effect. It's better if
- 23:56Speaker 1: it's loose.
- 23:56Speaker 3: It's about a ten second rule.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Here.
- 23:57Speaker 1: You should go one at a time. Kathy, what did
- 23:59Speaker 1: you say your big bad get? Ayo. Ready? You gonna
- 24:02Speaker 1: throw it?
- 24:03Speaker 2: Did you stretch?
- 24:03Speaker 1: I don't want you to pull an arm.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. Nick, how many apart? That's what I said.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I said it was gonna break apart. Bet you chose wrong. Oh, ooh. Okay.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Here we go. Why don't you stay down there so
- 24:22Speaker 1: you can pick up my bread.
- 24:27Speaker 4: You guys ready?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Who's singing right now?
- 24:29Speaker 4: Bailey.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Bailey. Nice. Good choice. Ready? I win! Baguette. That was right.
- 24:34Speaker 4: All right. You know, it's more sort.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Of like a football, you know? Yeah, Joe, what do
- 24:43Speaker 1: you think about how that bread went down? Well, this
- 24:45Speaker 1: reminds me of when you were on that show, Minute
- 24:49Speaker 1: to Win It.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Not surprised. Kevin can do weird stuff really well. What's
- 24:53Speaker 3: the weirdest thing you do well?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I don't know. Like, come on. There's going to be
- 24:58Speaker 1: one top of your head. I can juggle. That's not
- 25:03Speaker 1: that weird. That's pretty cool. I'm building a Roblox game.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I don't know. That's pretty weird. And you do it
- 25:08Speaker 1: very well. Physical thing. Like a physical. Oh, I'm triple
- 25:13Speaker 1: jointed in my thumbs. That's it. Say that you're triple jointed.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I'm triple jointed in my thumbs.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Wake up, Daddy Sean.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Let's see it. Okay. So, pops out. Don't say it
- 25:25Speaker 1: pops out. It circles around. Why? I don't know.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I was sitting in church while Dad was on stage
- 25:32Speaker 3: one day, and I just went like this. You can
- 25:34Speaker 3: watch the joint.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Ready? I don't need to watch that joint. Can I
- 25:37Speaker 1: do my weird talent now? Yeah, please, please. See my
- 25:40Speaker 1: middle finger there? Uh-huh. I can pop it out of
- 25:42Speaker 1: its socket and back. But you can hear it on
- 25:45Speaker 1: the camera. Oh, I heard it. You have a rollie.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I forget that I can do that. That's cool. Do
- 25:54Speaker 1: you want to hear something crazy? Oh. Is that your knee? Okay.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I think this just might be old age, guys. I
- 26:02Speaker 1: don't know. That's called an osteochondroma. Ready? Check this out. Really? Yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 1: It's the tendon rolling over my joint. I got another one. Ready?
- 26:11Speaker 1: It's going to my chest. Keep your pants on. Hold on.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Pop your sternum? Pop my sternum. This episode is going
- 26:21Speaker 1: to crush in geriatric communities. It's ASMR with the Jonas Brothers.
- 26:26Speaker 1: People are going to do doctor podcasts. And that's why
- 26:29Speaker 1: you should be careful of the amount of performances you
- 26:31Speaker 1: do a year. Okay. That was fun, guys.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Well, now that I know that baguettes go farther, we
- 26:39Speaker 4: should probably go to stage.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yes. Also, I can balance about anything. Except your checkbook.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I was waiting for it. I was thinking of one. Somewhere. Facts.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I'll let you have that one. But I literally can't.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You point at it, I'll balance it. Show me. Point
- 26:55Speaker 1: at it.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Book.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Books are a bit odd. You said point at it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I do it. Top book. Yeah, you got it. It's
- 27:02Speaker 1: not that hard. When it opens, it's hard. All right,
- 27:06Speaker 1: we got to go. Thanks for watching. Bye-bye.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
