- 0:00SPEAKER_00: We were just talking about how uh Sephora and and I I could see Alta doing this down the road, uh, but there's two two funny observations about both these stores.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Uh it's like walking into a spaceship, uh a spaceship of makeup for the ladies.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: And it smells so good.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, it does.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And uh but specifically Alta, that that place walking in there, you're like, I just beamed in.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, it is definitely futuristic vibe, right?
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, beam me up to Beauty Planet.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's good.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Uh and then uh, you know, when I go into Sephora, because now they're doing quiet hours, and it's kind of funny.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: I try to be quiet because I know I'm walking into an area that I know nothing about, and I have to go immediately to a counter to get assistance because I'm like, I need to get my hands on this perfume.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And then I'll show the picture, like every guy, and I'll be like, this one right here.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Sounds real quiet.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: And then then all of a sudden the girls are like, Well, we have three different sizes.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: This one for$69.99, this one for$89.99, or you can buy the VAT 15 gallons for uh$599.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: $198.97, and that's a deal, sir, because you get a five-gallon vat of the Dolce and Caboners.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: You really had better love that smell.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden I'm sitting there going, okay, I'll take the big one.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: That's me.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Is that you being quiet?
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: So not working.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: But I have to tell you a rather funny story.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: I dreaded telling telling you this story because I know it's gonna open the door for endless torture.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I can't wait.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Um, that's all right, because I got something afterwards that I can torture you with.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: So we were out in Hornell, as you know, for 4th of July.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's right.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Went over to the uh magnificent Park of Hornell over there, whatever it is.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, not the really nice new one, whatever this dust ball was that uh uh that's got a merry-go-round that's rusted that somebody's gonna have to get a tetanus shot afterwards.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And they had some vendors set up.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, shocking.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: And I know, right?
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Now I already had expectations that were pretty low.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: It was vendors in Hornell.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on, you know.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So uh anyway, we're walking around, and this one lady, uh very nice lady actually, was selling things of no interest to me.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: But uh, you know, most of those that have no interest of whether it's like, you know, corning or hornell.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: So Tiffany is uh, you know, checking it all.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: So I start doing the guy driftaway.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Do you know what the guy driftaway is?
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you just start to like look at other tables.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Summer yourself over there, you know?
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: You're not by the bench, you're not aggressively walking away, but you're trying to give the impression of moving on, sister.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: This is all garbage.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Don't care.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So at any rate, uh You don't care, I do.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: The statement gets made uh to Tiffany, it goes, Well, you better tell dad to come back.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: It looks like you're getting ready to spend some of his money.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I was apparently her dad at the vendor fair.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: And they wanted I wasn't even thinking about that.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: That's what it was.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, it wasn't dad in general.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: It was you better get your dad's wallet before he walks away.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: She is not that huge of an age difference from me, mind you.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: It's about 10 years.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, 12, 13.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Less than that.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: No, stop it.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: It's like 10.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: No, it's more than 10.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're right, 13.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, but uh So I wasn't wrong.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I'm like Dad's wallet.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: You better get dad's wallet.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: That is so funny.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Because at first I went to a space where my grandparents would call each other mom and dad.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: And that's what I was thinking at first.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: But then once you said it, oh no, the that sealed the deal.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: You'll not get any of my money.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: That's why I always feel weird whenever I meet people at certain events.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Instead of saying, Is this your significant other?
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Is this your parent?
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like I will get myself stuck in one of those situations where I'm gonna be grossly embarrassed.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Well, and then I'm starting to think about it.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I'm looking at I'm literally gross.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm literally I'm thinking of my surroundings because her mom was there, Joanne, who's 16 years old.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: She should have been like, yeah, my sugar daddy.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: My uh, my my you know, her.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So I'm like thinking, does this vendor think that I'm with her mother and this is our gaggle of kids?
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: I've never seen Joanne.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, she's held up well, she looks good.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, but probably probably looks younger than you.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Innocent.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, at this point, that's pretty much the way it is, you know.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: But so the the kids were there?
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: No, my kids weren't.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Okay, then guess she definitely thought that you were the dad.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I told you this was gonna open the door for you to just have a great time with this.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: You had mentioned something about kids a second ago, though.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: So then I was like, well, a lot of people will just use the dad reference.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: No, as in like go get your dad's wallet before he walks too far away.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: Wait, I also want to say one other thing about that though.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Like, ew, I have my own money.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Because this happened to us just the other day.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I was with Zach somewhere and she was like, she had referenced, oh, oh, your husband's money.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Bash.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: I got my own.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: I got I got my I I make more money than him.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Oh
