- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by Draft Kings. The Crown
- 0:13Speaker 1: is yours. Super wild Card Weekend is upon us. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: Brandon Kravitz, joined by the Favorites crew, the Prime Minister
- 0:20Speaker 1: of Degenerate Nation, Stucky, the Queen of the Pod, Miss
- 0:23Speaker 1: Kendra Middleton. On today's episode, we have got a loaded
- 0:28Speaker 1: edition of Action or Distraction. We've got our stat of
- 0:31Speaker 1: the Day coming up in moments, A two Kings and
- 0:34Speaker 1: a Queen parlay courtesy of DraftKings. See if we do
- 0:38Speaker 1: this the same way, six games to choose from, so
- 0:41Speaker 1: we can probably nominate to a piece. You'll find out
- 0:44Speaker 1: at the end of the episode. We've got a Sling
- 0:46Speaker 1: TV look ahead to Monday night football and breaking news
- 0:51Speaker 1: right before we hit record. ESPN sources Dolphins have fired
- 0:57Speaker 1: head coach Mike McDaniel. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross met with
- 1:01Speaker 1: McDaniel this week to discuss the season, and after that meeting,
- 1:05Speaker 1: which I guess did not go well and some reflection,
- 1:09Speaker 1: Stephen Ross decided to move on. I'm sure that the
- 1:11Speaker 1: John Harball dismissal in Baltimore had a little something to
- 1:15Speaker 1: do with it. Ross definitely has an affinity for the
- 1:20Speaker 1: Harballs being a Michigan guy stuck you your initial reaction
- 1:24Speaker 1: to the Mike McDaniel dismissal.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I'm not surprised, but I think that he becomes a
- 1:36Speaker 2: very very attractive offensive coordinator higher for many teams, including
- 1:43Speaker 2: my Ravens. I would love for that to be the case.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So I'm curious to see where he goes. But I
- 1:52Speaker 2: think he would be an elite offensive coordinator. He's kind
- 1:55Speaker 2: of a little maybe he's just like a little too
- 1:59Speaker 2: quirky to be a head coach in some aspects. Maybe
- 2:04Speaker 2: he's just not cut out for that. There's a lot
- 2:06Speaker 2: of like really good coordinators that become head coaches that
- 2:09Speaker 2: shouldn't really be head coaches, and they just would thrive
- 2:12Speaker 2: as coordinators. But it's kind of there's a lot of
- 2:15Speaker 2: similarities to how corporate America works, right, Like I when
- 2:22Speaker 2: I used to work in finance, I was I got
- 2:24Speaker 2: to like a senior derivatives analyst, and then like the
- 2:27Speaker 2: natural next step to make more money is to go
- 2:33Speaker 2: become like a a big like leader of a team, right,
- 2:37Speaker 2: And but I that's not my that's not my passion.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I don't think that's my strength. So I was fine
- 2:44Speaker 2: where I'm at. But you a lot of people just
- 2:46Speaker 2: do that because it's the natural next step, But really
- 2:49Speaker 2: they might not be the best type of person or
- 2:53Speaker 2: leader to be a head coach or you know, a
- 2:56Speaker 2: certain type of executive in the corporate world, and then
- 3:00Speaker 2: you have people that just aren't in the right positions
- 3:03Speaker 2: for the wrong reason. So yeah, I mean, maybe he
- 3:08Speaker 2: will just try to go for another head coaching job
- 3:10Speaker 2: for the money, and I wouldn't blame him, but I
- 3:13Speaker 2: think that he would be and one of the best
- 3:16Speaker 2: offensive coordinators in the NFL. Would love for the Ravens
- 3:19Speaker 2: to get them.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with that. Vic Fangio is another good
- 3:23Speaker 1: example of that. There's countless examples of guys that just
- 3:26Speaker 1: work well as coordinators and not as head coaches. Daniels, Yeah,
- 3:32Speaker 1: Josh McDaniels is a phenomenal example and even more relevant
- 3:36Speaker 1: on the offensive end. Do you think it's his personality
- 3:39Speaker 1: that got him fired? Because he had swag during portions
- 3:43Speaker 1: of his tenure, But the last couple of months, listening
- 3:48Speaker 1: to this guy, I do a radio show in Florida,
- 3:50Speaker 1: we are a lot of his pieces of his press conference.
- 3:53Speaker 1: This does not sound like a confident individual. He stammers
- 3:56Speaker 1: over his words constantly. It just doesn't sound like a
- 3:59Speaker 1: leader of football is about more than that. But as
- 4:02Speaker 1: a head coach, sometimes it starts there. Do you think
- 4:05Speaker 1: it's his personality, the substitute teacher vibe that got him canned?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Ultimately, I don't.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I gotta be honest. If you watch his press conferences
- 4:13Speaker 4: from when he first became a head coach to now,
- 4:15Speaker 4: there's just such a complete difference in the vibe of
- 4:18Speaker 4: him and the vibe of the room. I hate to
- 4:20Speaker 4: say it because this sounds meaner than I mean it too,
- 4:24Speaker 4: but I genuinely think that this has a lot to
- 4:27Speaker 4: do with Tua, Like he had to change so much
- 4:30Speaker 4: of his style, scheme, offense, everything to cater to the
- 4:35Speaker 4: type of football that to a plays, and then eventually
- 4:37Speaker 4: trying to keep to a healthy and so I after
- 4:41Speaker 4: coaching through that would probably lose my confidence, my edge,
- 4:44Speaker 4: my swag, whatever you want to call it. There's so
- 4:46Speaker 4: many of these tight khaki pants, young swaggy guy like
- 4:49Speaker 4: look at Liam Cohen in the NFL. Very similar vibe,
- 4:52Speaker 4: like fighting with Robert Sala and the small market, like,
- 4:55Speaker 4: how does that feel like? Whatever? Very similar vibe. I
- 4:58Speaker 4: just if I was coach in a situation where my
- 5:01Speaker 4: entire life revolved around two a tongue of Iloa's abilities,
- 5:06Speaker 4: I would probably eventually be like just another day closer
- 5:10Speaker 4: to death.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Well, and and not just his abilities are lack thereof.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I went through his seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He
- 5:17Speaker 1: had seven starting quarterbacks during his tenure with Miami. He
- 5:21Speaker 1: was starting Skyler Thompson, Teddy Bridgewater at points throughout his
- 5:25Speaker 1: time in Miami. It's hard to sustain success when that
- 5:29Speaker 1: is the case.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I don't think they really gave him the keys either,
- 5:32Speaker 4: you know, like they to A had like to A.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna I hate I. I'm gonna blame a lot
- 5:39Speaker 4: of this on too. I'm trying to sit here and
- 5:41Speaker 4: think of other excuses. But like, the organization didn't help
- 5:44Speaker 4: him at all, and Tua just was not the answer.
- 5:46Speaker 4: And I think that them paying him and keeping him
- 5:49Speaker 4: around for as long as that contract is is just diabolical.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah it was. There was Look, I'll spend thirty
- 5:56Speaker 2: more Stitzwalkar we super wowk A right, yeah, I'm not
- 5:59Speaker 2: gonna spend one we can't on the Dolphins. But the
- 6:05Speaker 2: organization failed miserably in building that team, drafting, trading, building
- 6:09Speaker 2: the offensive line. Yep, all of the moves they made.
- 6:12Speaker 2: The defense as a disaster, so he was just put
- 6:15Speaker 2: into a really tough spot. They need and this looks
- 6:19Speaker 2: like what they're doing they need a complete tear down
- 6:22Speaker 2: and rebuild.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That was some breaking news right before we hopped on here,
- 6:27Speaker 1: so I wanted to get that out there. But let's
- 6:28Speaker 1: kick things off the way that we usually do. On
- 6:31Speaker 1: the Thursday episode, Evan Abrams shrimply unbelievable stat of the week,
- 6:36Speaker 1: straight from the primer. This weekend, we have some first
- 6:39Speaker 1: time playoff quarterbacks in action, quarterbacks making their first playoff
- 6:44Speaker 1: start taking on quarterbacks who have playoff experience twenty thirty
- 6:49Speaker 1: nine and one ats. That's thirty four percent and twenty
- 6:54Speaker 1: and forty straight up since two thousand and two. When
- 6:56Speaker 1: those less experienced quarterbacks play at home, which are all
- 7:00Speaker 1: three this week, they are twelve and twenty one straight
- 7:03Speaker 1: up and against the spread. That is, Bryce, Young, Caleb Williams,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and Drake May all fit into that bucket. Kendro, was
- 7:12Speaker 1: that part of your analysis at all as you have
- 7:15Speaker 1: made your way towards the window this week?
- 7:18Speaker 4: Yeah, It's definitely something I've thought about. But I still
- 7:20Speaker 4: am sitting here in the struggle bus that we talked
- 7:24Speaker 4: about the other day where I love every single underdog
- 7:28Speaker 4: this week. So that's another thing that's playing into it.
- 7:31Speaker 4: It's like, you can look at all the stats, but
- 7:32Speaker 4: sometimes you have to weigh the stats about versus how
- 7:35Speaker 4: you actually feel and what's going on in this current season.
- 7:38Speaker 4: And I think that some of these guys are getting
- 7:40Speaker 4: really lucky with the matchups that they're getting stuck.
- 7:44Speaker 3: You or do you land on that being a major factor.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I wouldn't say major, but it's definitely a consideration. I
- 7:51Speaker 2: think there's real actual that's actually a thing like I
- 7:57Speaker 2: just think about and you look back historically, there's been
- 8:00Speaker 2: some elite It's not just all rookie quarterbacks, even if
- 8:03Speaker 2: he removed like rookie quarterbacks, there's been some really good
- 8:06Speaker 2: quarterbacks who have struggled in their first playoff game when
- 8:09Speaker 2: they face a quarterback who has playoff experience. Lamar Jackson
- 8:13Speaker 2: was one Iron Rogers Golf, although that was probably outdoors.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I mean, Flacco really struggled in his first that So
- 8:25Speaker 2: there's been a couple. I mean, Darnold was a disaster.
- 8:30Speaker 2: So that was last year. I mean he was that
- 8:32Speaker 2: was a disaster against Stafford. So yeah, I think that
- 8:36Speaker 2: there's it's not just noise. I think that there's some
- 8:40Speaker 2: signal there. And you know, you could you could have nerves.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Even these quarterbacks at home like that. You just haven't
- 8:45Speaker 2: been on that stage yet, so you don't know how
- 8:48Speaker 2: they're going to perform. So I think it is valuable
- 8:50Speaker 2: to have that playoff experience in your back pocket against
- 8:53Speaker 2: a quarterback who doesn't. So looking at those three, you know,
- 8:57Speaker 2: I mean I don't have the Panthers this week, but
- 9:00Speaker 2: I could really see Bryce Young struggling. I do have
- 9:03Speaker 2: the Packers, and I think that that's certainly valuable in
- 9:08Speaker 2: this game. We don't know what we're gonna get from
- 9:10Speaker 2: Caleb Williams and the other game. What is the other one?
- 9:17Speaker 1: Good Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, Drake May.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Drake, I mean I have the Chargers. You just
- 9:23Speaker 2: don't know what there's a chance at Drake May. The
- 9:26Speaker 2: other I mean, Drake May has never played in the
- 9:27Speaker 2: playoffs and he basically hasn't played a tough defense all year.
- 9:30Speaker 2: So there's, uh, there's a lot of uncertainty there with
- 9:33Speaker 2: how or perform going up against a defense that takes
- 9:36Speaker 2: away the explosive passing play. So yeah, now you can
- 9:39Speaker 2: argue that Herbert's been a disaster in playoff games.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Yeah you could.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Yeah, you could also catching three and a half.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's also a tiny sample size.
- 9:49Speaker 4: But that night was the best night of my life.
- 9:52Speaker 4: I'm not even kidding. It was years ago, yesterday.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I don't I don't deny that, but I think on
- 9:57Speaker 1: this show, we only have one between the three of
- 10:02Speaker 1: us on one of these first year in the playoff quarterbacks,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and it's my bet on the Sad Cats the Carolina Panthers.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But none of us are on the Bears. I know
- 10:11Speaker 1: Stucky's on the Packers. Kendrew, I don't have you taken
- 10:14Speaker 1: aside on that yet.
- 10:16Speaker 4: I have not, but I am so close to being
- 10:20Speaker 4: in on the Chargers the Patriots games at prison for me,
- 10:25Speaker 4: So that's why I haven't done it. But I really
- 10:26Speaker 4: like the Chargers.
- 10:27Speaker 1: We had the community bet on the Tuesday episode where
- 10:30Speaker 1: everybody was pretty much consensus on the Chargers.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I did throw that one in the.
- 10:34Speaker 1: App Stucky has as well, so there's definitely we are
- 10:40Speaker 1: as a podcast this is definitely some valuable information for us.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's not everything that goes into the analysis of these games,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but the two of these three I'm not touching with
- 10:50Speaker 1: a ten foot pole that Caleb Williams and Drake Mayodly.
- 10:56Speaker 4: It's kind of a yuckiest. I want to call it
- 10:58Speaker 4: super wild Card weekend, but I think that that's going
- 11:00Speaker 4: to like show that I'm getting old, but like it's
- 11:03Speaker 4: a weird wild card weekend. Like usually I feel like
- 11:05Speaker 4: I have such a stronger stance on these games, but
- 11:08Speaker 4: these are kind of yucky from a betting perspective, Like,
- 11:11Speaker 4: I mean, I get a really boring weekend.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I think this weekend is going to be phenomenal, but
- 11:16Speaker 1: it goes to the unpredictability of the season. We just
- 11:19Speaker 1: feel like there's so many flaws with all these teams.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Stucky.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Anything else you want to add to this conversation before
- 11:25Speaker 1: we jump to the next thing.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Now, No, I'm looking forward to this weekend. I mean,
- 11:30Speaker 2: you have one double digit spread and the rest are
- 11:31Speaker 2: basically between a pick and three and a half, three
- 11:35Speaker 2: and a half, four and a half now with the Eagles,
- 11:36Speaker 2: so I think we're gonna get some competitive games. It's
- 11:39Speaker 2: wide open, like if you look at that Jags Bills
- 11:41Speaker 2: game winner or that, I think it's a really good
- 11:44Speaker 2: chance of going to the super Bowl.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I'll send you guys videos from the stands, please.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm looking forward to all these games. And yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean forty nine Ers, Eagles and Panthers Rams probably
- 11:58Speaker 2: the to least games that I'm looking forward to Steeler.
- 12:04Speaker 4: The Steelers game being on Monday night football pisses me off.
- 12:06Speaker 4: That's the one that I'm kind of like, why are
- 12:08Speaker 4: you doing this to us?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I think that'll be close, close, low scoring. We'll get
- 12:14Speaker 2: to that game later. But yeah, I'm looking forward to
- 12:16Speaker 2: all these games.
- 12:17Speaker 1: All right, stuck you Before we dig back into it,
- 12:20Speaker 1: what is your weird, bizarre, random question of the week.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Hey, this is a dumb question. Let me ask you
- 12:27Speaker 2: a personal question kind of question?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Is that is question?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I totally forgot pime up up on
- 12:34Speaker 2: something Dealer on the fly. All right, Uh, let's what
- 12:40Speaker 2: is the next segment? Can you give you the two
- 12:42Speaker 2: minutes to think about it?
- 12:43Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna do action or distraction. We could do that.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Did you prepare anything? This is distracted?
- 12:49Speaker 4: Distracted?
- 12:50Speaker 2: I'm not I want it on the action.
- 12:56Speaker 1: We'll make this one quick because I do want to
- 12:57Speaker 1: make this much more about the bets that we have
- 13:00Speaker 1: and the leans and all of that stuff.
- 13:03Speaker 3: But action or distraction.
- 13:05Speaker 1: On John Harball in the Ravens parting ways sending shock
- 13:10Speaker 1: waves across the NFL community, Kendra, action or distraction that
- 13:14Speaker 1: John Harball will have a job somewhere in the NFL
- 13:17Speaker 1: before the end of Wildcard weekend.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I don't know if we'll know about it, but I'm
- 13:22Speaker 4: sure that there will be contract something somewhere going on
- 13:26Speaker 4: through this weekend. But the only thing that we have
- 13:28Speaker 4: to keep an eye on is if the Bills lose,
- 13:31Speaker 4: McDermott has to be out. And that's the only question
- 13:34Speaker 4: mark I have are is he hanging on for the
- 13:37Speaker 4: potential of that team? Because for me, there's truly only
- 13:40Speaker 4: two destinations for him. It's one Buffalo if McDermott gets fired,
- 13:44Speaker 4: and to the New York Giants. Those are truly the
- 13:46Speaker 4: only two teams that I personally see that Does that
- 13:49Speaker 4: obviously mean that there's not another option? No, those are
- 13:52Speaker 4: just the two teams that make sense to me. So
- 13:55Speaker 4: do I think that there's conversations, Yes, but that Bill's
- 13:58Speaker 4: opening looming is a little bit of a question, but
- 14:02Speaker 4: I think it's the right choice for the Ravens. Like
- 14:05Speaker 4: I think, I said this on our show on Tuesday,
- 14:07Speaker 4: Like this feels very much like the Mike Rabel wrong situation,
- 14:13Speaker 4: right coach, like good coach, wrong situation. He's been given
- 14:17Speaker 4: every single thing to finally get over that hump, and
- 14:19Speaker 4: they basically had to choose between him and Lamar Jackson.
- 14:21Speaker 4: And I think that that fan base would have lit
- 14:24Speaker 4: that place on fire if they chose him over Lamar.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Stucky this this is your squad. Were you good with
- 14:30Speaker 1: it when you saw the news?
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was probably coming. It was time
- 14:34Speaker 2: for change. There was rumors that the locker room was
- 14:37Speaker 2: splintered and the relationship between him and Lamar wasn't Nah
- 14:44Speaker 2: wasn't great this year, which I think was fairly obvious
- 14:51Speaker 2: that there were some issues there. So I think it
- 14:53Speaker 2: made sense. I think it was just time. I think
- 14:55Speaker 2: it all work out for both parties. I think the
- 14:58Speaker 2: organization needed to change, Harbor needed to change, And I'm
- 15:02Speaker 2: super curious to see who they break in. Hopefully not
- 15:05Speaker 2: Matt Naggi, but like I would love if they like
- 15:09Speaker 2: my dream would be like Mintor as the head coach
- 15:13Speaker 2: and uh Nicdaniel as the offensive coordinator. That would get
- 15:20Speaker 2: me excited.
- 15:22Speaker 4: I can't remember if I said this on this show
- 15:24Speaker 4: or a different show, but I think it's a great
- 15:27Speaker 4: time to need a head coach in the NFL because
- 15:29Speaker 4: so many of these young guys are coming in and
- 15:32Speaker 4: changing teams. Did I say this on this show about
- 15:34Speaker 4: how like these young guys are what's really turning teams
- 15:38Speaker 4: around for me, just because they're so much more relatable
- 15:40Speaker 4: to like the gen Z type of player.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I think it's a good time to eat on one
- 15:45Speaker 3: of your many Boston shows.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Yeah, well, then my whole point was just that I
- 15:50Speaker 4: think it's a really good time to need a head
- 15:52Speaker 4: coach because we keep seeing these young guys getting promoted
- 15:54Speaker 4: to head coaches. Look at Ben Johnson, look at Liam Cohen,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and just turning teams around. By taking a chance on
- 16:00Speaker 4: this younger guy who relates to your team more, it
- 16:02Speaker 4: absolutely has turned people around. I think that that's exactly
- 16:05Speaker 4: what the Ravens need, as someone who's younger and more relatable.
- 16:08Speaker 1: One thing that gets me excited is Nick Giffen's luck rankings,
- 16:12Speaker 1: and it points us in the direction of one game
- 16:15Speaker 1: in specific or specifically is a if we're talking sides
- 16:22Speaker 1: and that's the Packers plus one is the official play
- 16:25Speaker 1: that is on the app. Packers are now minus one
- 16:28Speaker 1: and a half at minus want to wait on DraftKings
- 16:32Speaker 1: Stucky action or distraction the Packers right side, especially considering
- 16:36Speaker 1: the way these first two matchups have gone.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah, by the way, my dream would we saw how
- 16:41Speaker 2: coaches going fit to cap off that conversation, we saw
- 16:44Speaker 2: how much impact coaches can have. Speaking of the Bears,
- 16:48Speaker 2: Ben Johnson goes from Detroit to Chicago, turns them around.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Detroit misses the playoffs. Liam Cohen goes to Jacksonville, helps
- 16:57Speaker 2: turn them around. The Bucks don't make it exactly and
- 17:01Speaker 2: grizz they're they're often new offense coordinator to replace going
- 17:05Speaker 2: got fired today, So it can it can drastically change
- 17:10Speaker 2: my dream. Mintor head coach, McDaniel's coordinator, Flora's Flora as
- 17:16Speaker 2: a defensive coordinator. It's not that won't happen.
- 17:19Speaker 4: But it's a beautiful dream.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Stucky Laoria is probably going to get a head coaching job.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm just giving you my my dream.
- 17:27Speaker 2: So no, I think that the Packers are the right side.
- 17:30Speaker 2: And I don't think that you can discount the luck
- 17:35Speaker 2: that the Bears had. I mean, they were plus had
- 17:37Speaker 2: a plus twenty two turnover margin. They led the league
- 17:39Speaker 2: in takeaways and giveaways. And it's not like capleer Williams
- 17:43Speaker 2: didn't put the ball in Harm's way. You know, you
- 17:45Speaker 2: didn't have a lot of picks, but his turnover worthy
- 17:47Speaker 2: plays were pretty high, so you might see some bounces
- 17:52Speaker 2: go green Bay's way. I mean, this was a defense.
- 17:54Speaker 2: The green Bay defense was thirtieth in turnover EPA. The
- 17:58Speaker 2: Bears were obviously number one. And then you can just
- 18:01Speaker 2: look at how these games played out for Chicago. They
- 18:05Speaker 2: were two plays away from going owen six in the division.
- 18:09Speaker 2: They needed a miracle on side kick recovery, and before
- 18:12Speaker 2: that they needed like a face mask, and Jordan Love
- 18:15Speaker 2: went down in that game. By the way, Jordan Love
- 18:17Speaker 2: destroyed the Bears when he was healthy, before he got
- 18:20Speaker 2: hurt the first game, and then before he got hurt
- 18:22Speaker 2: in the second game. And the Packers really should have
- 18:24Speaker 2: swept the Bears if not for all that fluky stuff
- 18:27Speaker 2: that happened late. So I mean, you look at the Bears,
- 18:31Speaker 2: they had that and then they had the long kick
- 18:32Speaker 2: return at the end against the Vikings. The usily could
- 18:33Speaker 2: have went owen six in the division. They finished two
- 18:35Speaker 2: and four, only the second team since nineteen eighty five
- 18:37Speaker 2: to win the division with a losing record. But you
- 18:40Speaker 2: go back to the Raiders game. They could have lost that.
- 18:42Speaker 2: They could have lost of the Commanders. They could have
- 18:45Speaker 2: lost to the Browns or the Bengals with Joe Flacco.
- 18:49Speaker 2: They could have lost of the Steelers with Mason Rudolph.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I mean, these are all bad teams that they arguably
- 18:55Speaker 2: should have lost agains if they'd needed to, Like last
- 18:57Speaker 2: second wins. They set an NFL record with six wins
- 19:00Speaker 2: when trailing under two minutes to go. The defense doesn't
- 19:04Speaker 2: do anything well outside of taking the ball away, which
- 19:07Speaker 2: is just not sustainable. Take away you know you remove
- 19:10Speaker 2: tournaments are thirtieth the EPA per play. This is not
- 19:13Speaker 2: a good defense. They do not get pressure. And Jordan
- 19:16Speaker 2: Love number one in the NFL this year in EPA
- 19:18Speaker 2: per play. With a clean pocket, I think he'll be
- 19:21Speaker 2: able to do whatever he wants. This offense, by the way,
- 19:24Speaker 2: got a bye last week, should come in healthier. The
- 19:27Speaker 2: wide receiver room is as healthy that's been all year.
- 19:29Speaker 2: They get Zack Tombak, their elite right tackle. Jacobs came
- 19:32Speaker 2: out and said he's as healthy as he's been all year.
- 19:35Speaker 2: That buy was super valuable last week because both the
- 19:37Speaker 2: Bears and the Packers had buys in Week five. Early
- 19:40Speaker 2: year buys you get worn down. Both teams had a
- 19:43Speaker 2: lot of injuries they were dealing with at the end
- 19:45Speaker 2: of the year, and Green Bay probably spent that entire week,
- 19:48Speaker 2: that extra week prepping for this game in Chicago. They
- 19:51Speaker 2: went all out trying to beat Detroit, thinking they needed
- 19:53Speaker 2: to win for the two seed. Turns out they didn't,
- 19:55Speaker 2: but that might hurt them. Here. The two things that
- 20:00Speaker 2: you know that the Packers defense has regressed and it's
- 20:03Speaker 2: fallen off as you know the pretty much since week eleven.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I mean, they've been a bottom five to ten unit.
- 20:08Speaker 2: They lost Wyde in week eleven, then Parsons has been
- 20:10Speaker 2: the huge loss. Should be a little healthier here, but
- 20:13Speaker 2: I do think the Bears will be able to run
- 20:14Speaker 2: the ball. I do think that the Packers will be
- 20:15Speaker 2: able to run the ball. To me, this comes down
- 20:18Speaker 2: to the Packers' ability to generate explosives and take away explosives.
- 20:22Speaker 2: The Bears are also of an explosive offense, but they're
- 20:24Speaker 2: bottom five and defending explosives, so I think the Packers
- 20:27Speaker 2: will just hit more explosive plays, which will be the
- 20:29Speaker 2: difference the two the only two things I really worry about.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And look, this will be a raucous crowd in Chicago.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It's our first home game since the double doink, but
- 20:37Speaker 2: it's a divisional game, so home field advantages is generally
- 20:42Speaker 2: less for that. And then there's gonna be weather that's
- 20:44Speaker 2: not going to bother Green day. The two things I
- 20:46Speaker 2: do worry about love coming back from an extended break
- 20:50Speaker 2: off of a concussion, could be you know, are there
- 20:52Speaker 2: any ill effects there is or any rust? Does he
- 20:54Speaker 2: come out a little slow? And then how bad is
- 20:57Speaker 2: the wind? Because if the wind is really bad, then
- 21:02Speaker 2: that's gonna favor Chicago, right because both teams are gonna
- 21:04Speaker 2: be able to run the ball. Chicago's an elite rushing offense,
- 21:07Speaker 2: and where I think Green Bay has one of the
- 21:09Speaker 2: advantages of their ability to connect on deep passes. If
- 21:13Speaker 2: the wind is too bad, that's going to hamper their
- 21:16Speaker 2: ability to take advantage of one of those primary strengths
- 21:19Speaker 2: in this particular matchup. But I do think that the
- 21:22Speaker 2: Packers are the right side and the Packers on They're
- 21:25Speaker 2: on the complete opposite end of the spectrum in terms
- 21:27Speaker 2: of luck. I mean, this is a team that went
- 21:29Speaker 2: oh to three when they didn't punt. The rest of
- 21:32Speaker 2: the NFL, it only happened eleven times the whole year.
- 21:34Speaker 2: The rest of the NFL went eight no, and there's
- 21:36Speaker 2: other eight instances. I think green Bay gets it done
- 21:38Speaker 2: here in the advance.
- 21:40Speaker 4: I agree, No, I don't think so. I am on
- 21:44Speaker 4: the opposite side of this. I don't have a bet
- 21:45Speaker 4: on it. I probably won't, but I'm going to drop
- 21:48Speaker 4: the L word. I don't. I don't like the Packers
- 21:52Speaker 4: this weekend. I lean the Bears here. The Packers have
- 21:54Speaker 4: sixteen guys on ir. If this were the beginning of
- 21:58Speaker 4: the season and everybody was healthy, I would absolutely take
- 22:00Speaker 4: the Packers here. But Bears at home. Bear is healthier.
- 22:04Speaker 4: I just it's hot, and you know, Jordan Love coming
- 22:07Speaker 4: back from that concussion like that also scares me. We
- 22:10Speaker 4: see We've talked about on their show time and time again.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Guys coming back from concussions feel like they need a
- 22:14Speaker 4: minute to establish themselves. Back into a game and it's
- 22:18Speaker 4: been a while since he got that concussion. But I
- 22:20Speaker 4: also think that that hurts him in this situation, and
- 22:22Speaker 4: god forbid, he's not one hundred percent or whatever. Leak
- 22:25Speaker 4: Willis is hurt and then Desmond ritters behind him. It's
- 22:28Speaker 4: just the fact that there's sixteen people on IR and
- 22:30Speaker 4: you pushed all your chips in on getting Michael Parsons
- 22:33Speaker 4: this season, and now he's not playing for you. He's
- 22:35Speaker 4: not making a difference. I think the Bears can keep
- 22:38Speaker 4: up with the Packers defense and score points. I'm worried
- 22:41Speaker 4: about the Packers being able to score thirty points and
- 22:45Speaker 4: be able to keep up with this Bears offense. That
- 22:47Speaker 4: is my concern here. It's genuinely just that there are
- 22:50Speaker 4: sixteen people on IR for the Packers. That is a
- 22:54Speaker 4: lot of people. You can't overcome that in these type
- 22:57Speaker 4: of situations.
- 22:57Speaker 5: In January, Jalie I will say, I will say that
- 23:01Speaker 5: the Packers just you know, a few weeks ago, went
- 23:05Speaker 5: to Chicago without Michael Parsons and an even more beat
- 23:08Speaker 5: up defense.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And the Bears had six points with three minutes to go.
- 23:15Speaker 2: So even without Parsons, they were in control of that game,
- 23:20Speaker 2: and there was a third and fifteen where Caleb got
- 23:23Speaker 2: sacked when they were down sixteen to six in the
- 23:26Speaker 2: fourth and there was a face mask and without that
- 23:29Speaker 2: face miss, the game is over. And then they needed
- 23:31Speaker 2: a field goal and then an onside kick, which is
- 23:33Speaker 2: like five percent chance, and then they needed to win
- 23:35Speaker 2: an overtime.
- 23:36Speaker 4: And this is before But you're the king of people
- 23:38Speaker 4: needing time to come back from concussions and worrying about that,
- 23:42Speaker 4: like you've talked about that on the show too. Does
- 23:44Speaker 4: that not worry you?
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I just said it. It's a concern of mine.
- 23:48Speaker 2: But their defense held their own against Chicago without Parsons
- 23:51Speaker 2: a few weeks ago in Chicago, so I and we
- 23:56Speaker 2: don't know how healthy Adonsay is. The Bears have some
- 24:00Speaker 2: other injuries on defense with you know, CJ. Gardner Johnson
- 24:04Speaker 2: that I mean, Kylo Gordon Kate. It might play, but
- 24:07Speaker 2: he's made of glass.
- 24:09Speaker 4: They need an early season Kyle Manungai game they.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Left tackle at Trapello, he's dealing with an injury. So
- 24:16Speaker 2: they have some injuries as well. The Green Bay offense
- 24:17Speaker 2: should be pretty healthier outside of Jenkins and Crafto obviously
- 24:21Speaker 2: aren't coming back, but I mean love in the five
- 24:26Speaker 2: quarters that he played the Bears, they did whatever they
- 24:28Speaker 2: wanted moving the ball.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Yeah, the Bears defense is awful, Like there's there's no
- 24:33Speaker 4: skipping that this. This has to be a shootout here,
- 24:35Speaker 4: There's there's no other what's the total in this game?
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, there might be snow, depends on I'd like the over.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I the wins aren't too bad. I do think both
- 24:49Speaker 2: teams will move the ball. I mean, if you go
- 24:51Speaker 2: back to that game, that that last game that ended
- 24:54Speaker 2: twenty two sixteen in overtime, I mean you had the
- 24:57Speaker 2: Packers had here were their drives start the game, nine
- 25:01Speaker 2: plays forty six yards to start the game, they turned
- 25:07Speaker 2: it over, they didn't convert on a fourth and one
- 25:09Speaker 2: inside the ten. Their next drive fourteen plays seventy yards,
- 25:16Speaker 2: ended in a field goal. The next drive, sixteen plays
- 25:18Speaker 2: ninety one yards, ended in a field goal. So they
- 25:22Speaker 2: had three drives in the first half. Now they're probably
- 25:24Speaker 2: gonna be run heavy, so these drives might be long.
- 25:27Speaker 2: See once they if they all start ending in like
- 25:30Speaker 2: fourth down fails or at field goals, you're screwed. But
- 25:33Speaker 2: both teams were able to move the ball. The Bears
- 25:35Speaker 2: also had a ten plays seventy yard drive that ended
- 25:37Speaker 2: in a turnover on downs, so there was The Packers
- 25:41Speaker 2: then had in the third quarter their first drive, nine
- 25:43Speaker 2: plays sixty five yards fumble. So I mean they were
- 25:48Speaker 2: moving the ball with Willis or Love, but they just
- 25:50Speaker 2: couldn't convert into touchdowns. But as long as the wind
- 25:53Speaker 2: isn't too bad, and even if there's a little snow
- 25:56Speaker 2: on the ground, I agree. I like this over with
- 25:59Speaker 2: two great offensive minds that are very familiar with both
- 26:02Speaker 2: of these defenses at this point in.
- 26:03Speaker 1: The year, I'm gonna sit right in the middle between
- 26:06Speaker 1: the two of you. I have two bets on this game.
- 26:10Speaker 1: One is a prop. I'm gonna queue that one up
- 26:12Speaker 1: later potentially. The other is in the derivatives market thirteen
- 26:17Speaker 1: to one. This game goes to overtime, a one point spread,
- 26:22Speaker 1: a divisional game, third meeting. I think this game is
- 26:27Speaker 1: going to come down to the wire. I want no
- 26:29Speaker 1: part of either side because I could just see it now.
- 26:31Speaker 1: This game, hopefully in overtime because of the bet I've
- 26:34Speaker 1: placed scoop and score touchdown one of these two defenses.
- 26:39Speaker 1: This is just gonna be a weird game and I'm
- 26:42Speaker 1: out on that. We will get to your Etsy Witch
- 26:45Speaker 1: in a moment, Kendra, but first you're gonna tell us
- 26:48Speaker 1: about DraftKings.
- 26:50Speaker 6: The Favorites podcast has teamed up with Dropkings sportsbook, where
- 26:53Speaker 6: new customers can bet five dollars and get three hundred
- 26:55Speaker 6: dollars back in bonus bets if your bet wins. Staying
- 26:58Speaker 6: on the action and use bonus on DraftKings same game
- 27:01Speaker 6: parlays for a shot at an even bigger payout to
- 27:04Speaker 6: get started to use promo code of Favorites when signing
- 27:06Speaker 6: up with DraftKings. Again, use Code of Favorites when signing
- 27:09Speaker 6: up and bet five bucks to get three hundred back
- 27:11Speaker 6: in bonus bets. If your bet wins, the crown is yours?
- 27:15Speaker 1: All right, Stuck, You've given you time to think about it.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Do you have a question for us?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Hey, this is a dumb question. Let me ask you
- 27:23Speaker 2: a personal question kind of question?
- 27:25Speaker 3: Is that is question?
- 27:27Speaker 2: I just forgot. I forgot to think about it, but
- 27:29Speaker 2: I can. I can come with one quick. You gotta
- 27:33Speaker 2: be rambling about games and then I, uh.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Uh so that is technically my job.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I will say, what's one thing that you've bought? You've
- 27:43Speaker 2: purchased in your life that your biggest regret purchase, like
- 27:47Speaker 2: the dumbest thing that you bought. I'll start. I bought
- 27:53Speaker 2: want it for my basement. I have like a that's
- 27:57Speaker 2: why I watch games is a cool bar area and
- 28:01Speaker 2: it's kind of like a big man gave. But so
- 28:03Speaker 2: I bought this like cocktail type arcade table, and I
- 28:11Speaker 2: mean it was I don't know. I think I got
- 28:13Speaker 2: it for it was like three thousand dollars and like
- 28:16Speaker 2: you can like sit around it and then there's joysticks
- 28:18Speaker 2: and then the screen comes up and there's like five
- 28:21Speaker 2: thousand arcade games on it. I was like, oh, this
- 28:26Speaker 2: would be cool to have just for like when people.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I've never played it once. It's never been used. So
- 28:34Speaker 2: I had one friend who used it who was over
- 28:36Speaker 2: and was like playing something on there. It was cool.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I mean I've actually looked went and looked at it
- 28:40Speaker 2: and look and there was like every game you could
- 28:42Speaker 2: ever think of arcade game. So it sounded cool in theory,
- 28:47Speaker 2: and it's cool that it's there, like it looks cool,
- 28:49Speaker 2: but I've never used it, and I regret purchasing that.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I guess I could like resell it, but I haven't.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Maybe maybe my kid will enjoy it one day.
- 28:59Speaker 1: There you go, there is still time to get use
- 29:02Speaker 1: out of this thing. My answer to this is easy.
- 29:04Speaker 1: This one still haunts me. I worked a summer job
- 29:07Speaker 1: when I first got to college, and they didn't pay you.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It was like a maintenance thing, which is hilarious because
- 29:12Speaker 1: I don't know how to fix anything. I don't know
- 29:13Speaker 1: how I got this job, but I worked the summer
- 29:16Speaker 1: and then they gave you, which I'm sure hourly breakdown.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I was vastly underpaid, but they gave me, at eighteen
- 29:22Speaker 1: years old, a one thousand dollars check. I'd never gotten
- 29:25Speaker 1: that much money at once in my life, so I
- 29:27Speaker 1: went immediately to the fanciest mall in town. I went
- 29:30Speaker 1: into the Burberry store and I bought an expensive wallet.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Two hundred and fifty dollars. I dropped on a wallet.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Mind you, I probably had. I mean, that was all
- 29:39Speaker 1: the money I had in my account, was that thousand
- 29:41Speaker 1: dollars that they gave me.
- 29:43Speaker 3: But I felt so good about myself.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And then a week later I go to the gym,
- 29:48Speaker 1: I leave the wallet in my cup holder and it
- 29:51Speaker 1: gets stolen. So I have not paid more than eight
- 29:54Speaker 1: dollars for a wallet. Since that moment in my life.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Lesson learned mine's going to be my my last car
- 30:00Speaker 4: that I had. I bought a BMW three thirty five.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I tricked out lower tented whole bit. I live in
- 30:08Speaker 4: fucking Massachusetts and it snows like crazy. I had zero
- 30:13Speaker 4: business driving a lowered car. I had it for a year.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Drove to work in the snow. One time, thought I
- 30:19Speaker 4: was going to die, and I was like, this bitch
- 30:20Speaker 4: has gotta go.
- 30:22Speaker 3: That was it. That was a low key flex right
- 30:23Speaker 3: there by the way.
- 30:25Speaker 1: So I feel pretty confident in saying that this is
- 30:27Speaker 1: the best sports week of the year so far, unless,
- 30:31Speaker 1: of course, you're a Kentucky basketball fan zero and two
- 30:34Speaker 1: in Conference WOOLF.
- 30:35Speaker 3: But if you if you like ish stakes football, this
- 30:39Speaker 3: week is for you.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Thursday and Friday, we've got college football playoffs semifinals in
- 30:45Speaker 1: this weekend. Well, you know what's going on in the NFL,
- 30:48Speaker 1: and when you think of big football games, you.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Need to be thinking about Sling TV.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Sling TV offers flexible package options one, three and seven
- 30:57Speaker 1: day passes for access to thirty plus live channels, which
- 31:01Speaker 1: includes ESPN and tnt SO you're covered for the semi
- 31:05Speaker 1: final games, the National Championship and for Monday Night Football.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And since this is an NFL show and we're talking
- 31:12Speaker 1: Monday Night football, let's fit in a little Texans Steelers
- 31:16Speaker 1: will give out one pick a piece for the Monday
- 31:19Speaker 1: Night Football action. Kendra get Us started.
- 31:23Speaker 4: So Stucky has something that I have later on in
- 31:27Speaker 4: the show to discuss. So I'm gonna go with Pat
- 31:31Speaker 4: Fryarmouth for in anytime plus three to ninety, like the
- 31:35Speaker 4: tight end matchup here. He's been getting a lot of
- 31:37Speaker 4: love recently. I don't know if you guys saw that
- 31:39Speaker 4: video of him after the game after the kick on Sunday.
- 31:44Speaker 4: He just he is their go to guy and clutch moments.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Most of his catches wind up in the end zone. Somehow,
- 31:50Speaker 4: it seems I'm gonna go Pat Fryarmouth in a big moment.
- 31:53Speaker 4: I think the obvious answer he would probably be to
- 31:54Speaker 4: b DK Metcalf, But I like the Friarermuth value at
- 31:57Speaker 4: plus three ninety on DraftKings right now.
- 31:58Speaker 1: But I think DK bet jail for what he did
- 32:02Speaker 1: and getting himself suspended at the end of the year,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and he should give his game check to Tyler Loop.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I like the look at Pat Fryarmouth. Rogers loves those
- 32:11Speaker 1: tight ends.
- 32:12Speaker 2: What about you, Stucky, Let's go Steelers money line. I
- 32:15Speaker 2: think this is an obvious money line dog this week.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It's a low total. I think this will be a
- 32:21Speaker 2: low scoring game. Points are at a premium, so higher variance.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And the Steelers, as long as they're in this game,
- 32:30Speaker 2: you know they Riders is bad under pressure at this
- 32:33Speaker 2: point in his career, but they like to get rid
- 32:35Speaker 2: of the ball as quick as you'll ever see a
- 32:37Speaker 2: team with short passes throw to their backs their tight ends.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You know, maybe a quick slant to DK hopefully he
- 32:44Speaker 2: breaks one. So that kind of can neutralize the Texans
- 32:47Speaker 2: pass rush a bit. Now where the Steelers are going
- 32:49Speaker 2: to get in trouble. It's very difficult to do that
- 32:51Speaker 2: consistently against one of the best defenses in the NFL,
- 32:55Speaker 2: because if you don't have success on first and second down,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and then you're in third and long, and then you
- 32:59Speaker 2: got to go up against Texans pass rush where Rodgers
- 33:01Speaker 2: probably isn't going to be able to do much. So
- 33:03Speaker 2: that's where they're probably going to get into trouble. But
- 33:05Speaker 2: I could say the same thing for the Steelers defense,
- 33:08Speaker 2: which is vulnerable against the run. But Texans aren't really
- 33:10Speaker 2: an efficient rushing attack. So on these known passing situations
- 33:15Speaker 2: for the Texans the Steelers, they're going to blitz a lot.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Their defensive line is now healthy and Stroud has been
- 33:21Speaker 2: bad against the blitz and this is not a great
- 33:23Speaker 2: offensive line, so I could see the Steelers causing some
- 33:26Speaker 2: havoc and chaos as well. This could come down to
- 33:29Speaker 2: just which defensive line on a passing down makes forces
- 33:33Speaker 2: the other quarterback into a mistake. And we know that
- 33:35Speaker 2: Rogers generally, it's one of the best in NFL history
- 33:37Speaker 2: at avoiding those mistakes. So this will be like a
- 33:40Speaker 2: field position game. And don't forget this is a dome
- 33:43Speaker 2: team traveling outdoors in freezing temperatures. I think the teams
- 33:47Speaker 2: in that spot are one to fourteen in the past
- 33:49Speaker 2: fifteen instances that's occurred in the postseason. So yeah, I
- 33:53Speaker 2: think this will be a low scoring game where the
- 33:55Speaker 2: Steeers will have a shot to win it. You might
- 33:57Speaker 2: have the voodoo on your side as well, with you know,
- 34:00Speaker 2: just a couple deflections or flat forced fumbles that go
- 34:04Speaker 2: your way, and that might be all it takes, so yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 2: let's go Steelers money line to get it done on Monday.
- 34:10Speaker 2: One of these streaks has to end, either the steep
- 34:12Speaker 2: the Steers finally have to win a playoff game, or
- 34:15Speaker 2: their Monday Night streak. The last thing. I think it's
- 34:17Speaker 2: thirty three years now they haven't lost on Monday Night football,
- 34:21Speaker 2: So we'll see.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like ninety three or something, which is crazy.
- 34:24Speaker 1: We'll just end up reframing that to regular season Monday
- 34:27Speaker 1: Night football games come next year if they lose. But
- 34:30Speaker 1: I have We're all in the Steelers here. I have
- 34:34Speaker 1: a correlation to the Steelers. Look, if they are able
- 34:37Speaker 1: to move the ball down the field against this Houston defense,
- 34:41Speaker 1: it's going to be because of the quick passing game
- 34:44Speaker 1: to Kenneth Gainwell. I like him over five and a
- 34:47Speaker 1: half receptions at plus one h nine. Rogers has to
- 34:50Speaker 1: get the ball out of his hands quickly to mitigate
- 34:52Speaker 1: this pass rush, and he has been doing that quite well.
- 34:55Speaker 1: They have the quickest snap to throw average in the NFL.
- 34:59Speaker 1: That bodes well for this stat a lot of easy
- 35:01Speaker 1: dumpoffs to gain well. The Texans rank above league average
- 35:05Speaker 1: in terms of receptions allowed to the running back position,
- 35:09Speaker 1: so screen game on full effect. We've got Pat Fryarmouth
- 35:13Speaker 1: anytime touchdown Stealer's money line, both of those at plus odds,
- 35:18Speaker 1: including Kenneth Gainwell, who's also at plus money, which means
- 35:22Speaker 1: your three legs. Sling TV parlay comes in at twenty
- 35:26Speaker 1: to one.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Let's go Stealers.
- 35:29Speaker 1: With so many great, great games still to come, sling
- 35:32Speaker 1: TV is your solution to instant access to live TV,
- 35:36Speaker 1: starting as low as four ninety nine. There is not
- 35:39Speaker 1: a better time to acquaint yourself with the one to
- 35:41Speaker 1: three and seven day passes from Sling TV offer applies
- 35:46Speaker 1: to Orange one day pass restrictions apply. It is time
- 35:51Speaker 1: for the reason you all came here today. Two kings
- 35:55Speaker 1: and a queen get nominated right here, right now, Stucky,
- 36:09Speaker 1: get us going.
- 36:10Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna go. I already mentioned I would
- 36:14Speaker 2: have my plant. The Flag game is JAG's first half
- 36:16Speaker 2: money line, which I still love. But we'll give two
- 36:19Speaker 2: other looks here. I'm gonna go with the Packers money line.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I think I rambled enough about that game earlier and
- 36:29Speaker 2: the let's go the Chargers plus three and a half
- 36:36Speaker 2: talked about that game a bit earlier. Look the Patriots
- 36:40Speaker 2: have the highest explosive play right in the league, even
- 36:42Speaker 2: though they faced the easiest schedule of defenses and the
- 36:46Speaker 2: easiest schedule of opposing quarterbacks. I mean, think about it.
- 36:48Speaker 2: The only they beat Josh Allen once they split and
- 36:52Speaker 2: that's about it. The rest of the quarterbacks they faced.
- 36:54Speaker 2: The next best quarterback, it's Baker Mayfield. I mean, Lamar
- 36:59Speaker 2: Jackson was roasting them before he got hurt, and then
- 37:02Speaker 2: it was Tyler Huntley the rest of the game. But
- 37:05Speaker 2: I think this defense that who has some injuries, is vulnerable.
- 37:08Speaker 2: And the biggest concern I have is with the Chargers
- 37:10Speaker 2: offensive line. I mean they're bad. I mean since we
- 37:14Speaker 2: you know, the second half of the year, they're thirty
- 37:16Speaker 2: first in pressure rate allowed. But the Patriots in the
- 37:19Speaker 2: second half of the year without blitzing and you don't
- 37:21Speaker 2: want to blitz Herbert, are thirty first in pressure rate
- 37:25Speaker 2: without blitzing, twenty seventh and adjusted pressure rate for the year.
- 37:29Speaker 2: So this is not a defensive line that's going to
- 37:31Speaker 2: get gobs of pressure and ruin this game for Herbert,
- 37:35Speaker 2: as we've seen quite a few times in the past.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Maybe it still happens, but the numbers I think Herbert
- 37:40Speaker 2: will have a chance here to move the ball, and
- 37:43Speaker 2: that Patriots offense that hits so many explosives is going
- 37:47Speaker 2: up against the defense that excels in that department. And
- 37:49Speaker 2: the red zone will be huge here because what the
- 37:53Speaker 2: Chargers are gonna have a huge emphasis on taking away
- 37:55Speaker 2: those explosives forced the Patriots to move the ball down
- 37:57Speaker 2: the field and then execute in the red zone. Well,
- 38:00Speaker 2: the Charters have an elite red zone defense under Minter.
- 38:04Speaker 2: They did last year forty five percent touchdown rate forty
- 38:08Speaker 2: five percent touchdown rate this year, both top five in
- 38:10Speaker 2: the NFL. Patriots have struggled some in the red zone
- 38:13Speaker 2: and then on the other side of the ball, the Chargers.
- 38:15Speaker 2: They don't have a great red zone offense, but the
- 38:17Speaker 2: Patriots are thirtieth in the NFL and red zone defense
- 38:20Speaker 2: in terms of touchdown rate allowed, and they've played nothing
- 38:23Speaker 2: but backup quarterbacks the entire year. So this might be
- 38:26Speaker 2: a chance for Herbert and company to actually finish off
- 38:29Speaker 2: drives with touchdowns. And the Matriots have been pretty lucky
- 38:33Speaker 2: this year, not only with their schedule, but May's gotten
- 38:35Speaker 2: away with some throws. I could see him throwing a
- 38:38Speaker 2: pick or two against this mintor defense. They've been lucky
- 38:40Speaker 2: with fumbles and especially on fourth downs on both sides
- 38:43Speaker 2: of the ball, so he might get a few bounces
- 38:45Speaker 2: here for the Chargers, but I think that they keep
- 38:48Speaker 2: this close. I think this line should be no higher
- 38:50Speaker 2: than three. So give me the Chargers plus three and
- 38:55Speaker 2: a half. So my two choices are Packers money line
- 38:57Speaker 2: and Chargers plus three and a half.
- 39:00Speaker 3: For me, I already bet it. I like the Chargers
- 39:02Speaker 3: plus three and a half.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Stucky continues to try and recruit Jesse Minter to his
- 39:06Speaker 1: football team. Kendra, I imagine America.
- 39:09Speaker 3: This one easy, Yeah, Chargers.
- 39:12Speaker 4: The best part is if the Pats lose and the
- 39:14Speaker 4: Jags win, I could be packing to go home for
- 39:17Speaker 4: three days or I could be packing to go home
- 39:18Speaker 4: for three weeks.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I really don't know, Evan, where would you be voting
- 39:23Speaker 1: on this? So that was one of the easiest votes
- 39:25Speaker 1: we've had all.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Year, Chargers the easiest.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Thank Yeah, Wow, Get Kendrick.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Do you want me to piss you off first or
- 39:34Speaker 1: after you make your selections this week?
- 39:36Speaker 4: You're the host to your world. We just live in it,
- 39:39Speaker 4: all right.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Let's just get this out of the way. You gotta
- 39:42Speaker 1: rip the bandaid off. Here my two nominees are a
- 39:47Speaker 1: prop and a side.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Can I just say, can I just preface this with
- 39:51Speaker 4: I filled out our notes at nine forty five this morning,
- 39:54Speaker 4: and when I logged on at ten thirty, Kravits had
- 39:56Speaker 4: completely flipped the script.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yep, I had. I had not bet this game yet.
- 40:02Speaker 1: As of the prep that I was doing this morning,
- 40:05Speaker 1: I was fully I've been fully convinced all week that
- 40:07Speaker 1: I've I was going to bet the Jacksonville Jaguars. And
- 40:11Speaker 1: the more I dug into this game, the more it
- 40:14Speaker 1: became obvious to me that I've got to bet the Bills.
- 40:17Speaker 1: So my nominees are Colston Lovelin over three and a
- 40:20Speaker 1: half receptions against the Packers or the Bills minus one here.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Here?
- 40:29Speaker 1: Which one are you shaking your head out more stucky?
- 40:32Speaker 1: The the prop or the or the Bills?
- 40:34Speaker 2: The Bills? I mean, I like the Jags, and uh
- 40:39Speaker 2: like you're just basically betting on them. I think, like, oh,
- 40:41Speaker 2: Josh Allen is going to get it done. I'm not
- 40:43Speaker 2: even sure Josh Allen is fully healthy. But and then
- 40:47Speaker 2: you just changed like you're going to try to convince
- 40:49Speaker 2: this and you just changed your earlier in the day,
- 40:52Speaker 2: you were thinking Jags. Now, so you're going to try
- 40:54Speaker 2: to convince the Bills.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Yeah, can you couple the knife out of my back
- 40:56Speaker 4: really quick?
- 40:57Speaker 2: We're have been the Jags podcast all year. But you know,
- 41:02Speaker 2: I like the jack. The Jags offensive researchers is real.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Since they got Myers, they put Cole van Land in
- 41:06Speaker 2: that tackle. Parker Washington has emerged. B TJ's gotten healthier,
- 41:11Speaker 2: Breton Strange came back. The Liam Cohen effect has just
- 41:14Speaker 2: magnified as they started throwing the ball down the field.
- 41:18Speaker 2: The defense has real improvement. They're a lead against the run.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I mean the Antonio Johnson has emerged at safety, mon
- 41:25Speaker 2: Terrek Brown is playing better. And this defense, this Bill's
- 41:28Speaker 2: defense is terrible. So Josh Allen could lead them to
- 41:34Speaker 2: a win. And they're they're going to play a ton
- 41:36Speaker 2: of zone. There'll be opportunities there. But I would not
- 41:39Speaker 2: bet against this Jags team in this spot.
- 41:42Speaker 3: And Witch, So I do want to get to the
- 41:47Speaker 3: Etsy Witch. But here's what I noticed.
- 41:48Speaker 2: We'll get to the second went. My vote is I
- 41:50Speaker 2: guess Loveland because I'm not same.
- 41:52Speaker 4: I don't can I ask you why? I mean, like,
- 41:55Speaker 4: here's The thing am I nervous about this game? Absolutely?
- 41:58Speaker 4: Do I think that the Bills can come into Jacksonville
- 41:59Speaker 4: and win game. Absolutely, But the Bills strength is their
- 42:03Speaker 4: run game, and the Jags have such a good run defense,
- 42:07Speaker 4: and I don't under And the thing is that the
- 42:11Speaker 4: Jags will run the ball down their throats. I don't
- 42:13Speaker 4: understand other than the Josh Allen angle. What you're what
- 42:16Speaker 4: you're looking at here?
- 42:17Speaker 3: Well, yeah, believe me, this was.
- 42:20Speaker 4: We had the real Josh Allen.
- 42:21Speaker 1: By the way, This is the been the thought process
- 42:25Speaker 1: all week is I like the Jaguars better as as
- 42:28Speaker 1: a team, and I like Josh Allen better as the
- 42:32Speaker 1: quarterback that I trust the most in this matchup. And
- 42:35Speaker 1: I'm not gonna bet a single quarterback over an entire
- 42:38Speaker 1: team that I like better. I think that the hot
- 42:41Speaker 1: streak the Jags have been on has some phony written
- 42:44Speaker 1: into it, and I can't unsee it. Since they're loss
- 42:47Speaker 1: to the Texans. Trevor Lawrence has been the hottest quarterback
- 42:51Speaker 1: in the NFL. He has played so many bad teams.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Six of his final eight matchups were against the Titans twice,
- 42:59Speaker 1: the Cold twice, the Jets, and the Cardinals. The average
- 43:03Speaker 1: e p a per pass for those teams on defense
- 43:06Speaker 1: is twenty second in the NFL.
- 43:08Speaker 3: It's no wonder the Chargers and Abscos.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah, defenses destroyed both, which I think puts merit to it.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Like literally, they went into Denver.
- 43:24Speaker 3: The Chargers could.
- 43:27Speaker 2: They're at the Chargers.
- 43:30Speaker 1: That was the bottom of the barrel for this bad
- 43:33Speaker 1: offensive line for the.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Talking about what they did to the Chargers defense.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's a lot easier to score when you're
- 43:40Speaker 1: the opposing offense can't move the football.
- 43:42Speaker 3: And we have decided the.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Denver Denver are quite possibly the most overrated number one
- 43:50Speaker 1: seed in NFL history.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Their defense, I'm not going to throw which defense in
- 43:55Speaker 2: the NFL is good the Charge, the Charges and Broncos
- 43:58Speaker 2: defenses aren't good. Which defense which.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I'm not saying they're not good, I'm saying that the
- 44:04Speaker 1: that is two of the last eight matchups have been impressive.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I'm not selling Jacksonville as a team and telling you
- 44:13Speaker 1: that they're bad or that it's all overrated in terms
- 44:17Speaker 1: of what they've done for the last couple of months.
- 44:20Speaker 1: But against this team, I think it is.
- 44:24Speaker 2: If if Bills are a bad defense, they're going to
- 44:26Speaker 2: play another bad defense here.
- 44:27Speaker 1: So the Bills defense this year has held quarterbacks to
- 44:30Speaker 1: a seventy nine rating. They're number one in yards per
- 44:32Speaker 1: game allowed to quarterbacks. The red zone defense hasn't been great,
- 44:36Speaker 1: their fourth best in terms of allowing opposing offenses to
- 44:39Speaker 1: get to the red zone in the first place. I
- 44:41Speaker 1: just worry that if the Jags offense gets stuck in
- 44:44Speaker 1: the mud, bad Trevor shows up, And if bad Trevor
- 44:47Speaker 1: shows up, They've got no chance in winning this game.
- 44:50Speaker 3: They're not beating Josh Allen in a playoff game.
- 44:53Speaker 1: And I think it is awfully telling that you bet
- 44:57Speaker 1: the Jags in the first half and wanted no of
- 45:00Speaker 1: the full game when.
- 45:02Speaker 3: We talked about this the other day. If we're talking
- 45:04Speaker 3: we have this.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Com I mean I would take the Jacks for the
- 45:06Speaker 2: full game. I just prefer the first taxt I think
- 45:08Speaker 2: their script's gonna better. I think the Bills run it
- 45:10Speaker 2: too much early. The numbers bear that out. I mean,
- 45:13Speaker 2: the Bills offense first half or second half is drastic,
- 45:17Speaker 2: and the same with the Jags first half, first second
- 45:19Speaker 2: half offense. But I mean I could say the Bills
- 45:22Speaker 2: like you you mentioned their defense, I mean their defense
- 45:24Speaker 2: I think is twentieth and DVA. They cannot defend the
- 45:27Speaker 2: run you mentioned, like the quarterback. I mean, you can
- 45:29Speaker 2: make the same case for the Bills who they face
- 45:31Speaker 2: this year. I mean, look at the quarterbacks they face
- 45:33Speaker 2: down the stretch, the Chador Sanders who they almost lost to, that.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Was in Cleveland, which is one of the toughest places
- 45:42Speaker 1: to play in the NFL. Their last defense the last
- 45:46Speaker 1: month plus we're talking about. What I'm mentioning here is
- 45:49Speaker 1: the cupcake schedule overall that the Jags played in the
- 45:53Speaker 1: last two months. I think that with them playing the
- 45:57Speaker 1: schedule that they played down the stretch, if you look
- 46:00Speaker 1: season long, they actually had a tougher strength of scheduled
- 46:02Speaker 1: than Buffalo. But down the stretch the Bills went to Pittsburgh,
- 46:06Speaker 1: to New England, to Houston, to Cleveland and played the
- 46:10Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles that is battle tested down the stretch and
- 46:14Speaker 1: they're rolling in As one.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Point, they lost to Davis Mills, and I mean they
- 46:19Speaker 2: lost to the Eagles at home with the Eagles not
- 46:22Speaker 2: completing a pass in the second half. Like those aren't
- 46:25Speaker 2: the greatest data points. Like the Eagles offense and the
- 46:29Speaker 2: Texans offense with Davis Mills and losing.
- 46:33Speaker 1: The bottom line is I think if this game was
- 46:35Speaker 1: played in Week fourteen in this exact setting, the Bills
- 46:40Speaker 1: would be two and a half point favorites. Their point
- 46:42Speaker 1: favorites here, I think they're the right side. Kendre, What
- 46:47Speaker 1: have you done in terms of witchery for me to
- 46:52Speaker 1: lose this bet?
- 46:54Speaker 4: So I hired an Etsy witch yesterday to curse the Bills,
- 46:59Speaker 4: but I made to add in my notes that I
- 47:01Speaker 4: don't want anybody to get hurt. That was like the
- 47:03Speaker 4: big thing. I was like, I just want a good
- 47:05Speaker 4: old fashioned ass kicking. I don't want anybody to get hurt.
- 47:09Speaker 2: My wife did that for before the Ravens Chiefs Safty
- 47:13Speaker 2: Championship game. She hired a witch on EPSCY and wanted
- 47:18Speaker 2: she wanted Patrick Mahomes. This is literally what she paid
- 47:22Speaker 2: for Patrick Mahomes to shit his pants during the game.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Didn't happen.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Oh that's amazing. I get my money back in thirty
- 47:29Speaker 4: days if it doesn't happen.
- 47:31Speaker 1: So wow, how much do you mind me asking how
- 47:34Speaker 1: much this runs?
- 47:35Speaker 3: You'll whopping?
- 47:37Speaker 4: Twelve dollars was the most expensive one. It was the
- 47:40Speaker 4: most expensive one I could get all the other ones
- 47:42Speaker 4: were like a dollar and she's supposed to send me
- 47:44Speaker 4: a video of like her doing the spell. But all
- 47:47Speaker 4: of the weird Southern Baptists on Twitter have gotten really
- 47:50Speaker 4: strange about this. But they can ligma because me and
- 47:53Speaker 4: my edsy witch are going to hold hand to the
- 47:54Speaker 4: AFC Championship game.
- 47:56Speaker 3: All right, So nobody's voting for the Bills.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Wait, Evan, where would you have gone with this.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Jaguars?
- 48:05Speaker 7: The stats that I like that's kind of on the
- 48:07Speaker 7: field here, which would be that the Jaguars this year
- 48:10Speaker 7: faced four teams who allow four plus yards per rush
- 48:13Speaker 7: on the ground. Jacksonville is not only four and oh
- 48:15Speaker 7: straight up and against spreading those games, but they've covered
- 48:17Speaker 7: by nineteen points per game. Throw it out the window
- 48:20Speaker 7: if you'd like. But they Jacksonville is not the best
- 48:22Speaker 7: running team. They should be able to run the ball
- 48:24Speaker 7: here and if that's possible, everything else will come into place.
- 48:27Speaker 2: And I like Jacksonville.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 2: The second most wins over playoff teams. We talk about
- 48:31Speaker 2: people's team schedules. The only team with more playoff win
- 48:33Speaker 2: team wins over playoff teams is the Seahawks.
- 48:36Speaker 7: I like the Meyers edition. Jaya Parker White, like everyone
- 48:39Speaker 7: is kind of coming into play. You start to look
- 48:41Speaker 7: at Bill's pass catchers, It's like, who the heck is
- 48:44Speaker 7: going to make a play in this game If it's
- 48:45Speaker 7: not Josh, and I think that's the problem.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I'm just going to say, if it's not Josh and
- 48:51Speaker 1: throw that out like he is.
- 48:53Speaker 3: He is right now.
- 48:56Speaker 7: So Brandon Cooks is going to have to have a
- 48:57Speaker 7: pass on his helmet, like for fifty yards. I feel
- 49:00Speaker 7: like maybe magic happens.
- 49:02Speaker 1: But if you play we've been watching how long have
- 49:04Speaker 1: you been watching the NFL guys? How long have these quarterbacks,
- 49:07Speaker 1: the Mahomes at least now the world, been throwing the
- 49:10Speaker 1: ball to these below average wide receivers in the postseason
- 49:14Speaker 1: and getting by. I just don't worry that much about
- 49:18Speaker 1: it when you're talking about a player of his caliber.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I'm not betting the Bills simply because of Josh Allen.
- 49:24Speaker 2: But of course is the big well you mentioned Mahomes.
- 49:26Speaker 2: The last couple of years of our receivers, the defense,
- 49:29Speaker 2: their defense has carried them in the playoffs. This Bill's
- 49:33Speaker 2: defense is not good. Their linebackers are old and watched,
- 49:37Speaker 2: their safeties aren't great. The corner rock room isn't great.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Like they can get some pressure, but they can't defend
- 49:42Speaker 2: the run. I mean, you mentioned how many playoff teams
- 49:45Speaker 2: does the Bills beat this year too? I guess three
- 49:49Speaker 2: with the Panthers.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Do we think Gabe Davis has over eight and a
- 49:54Speaker 4: half receiving yards in this game? Because I feel like
- 49:56Speaker 4: this might be the Gabe Davis revenge game. And I'm
- 49:58Speaker 4: sitting here and it's staring at me like the gob mask, our.
- 50:00Speaker 7: Producers telling us to kind of move on here. But
- 50:03Speaker 7: I think we should retee it up. You want to go,
- 50:04Speaker 7: let's do this whole thing again, Jaguars Bills. No, I'm kidding, all.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Right, let's go all right?
- 50:11Speaker 2: So, yeah, you couldn't even go on a side or
- 50:13Speaker 2: total Loveland. I have no opinion.
- 50:15Speaker 1: I mean I could get so I did come prepared
- 50:19Speaker 1: for a non prop.
- 50:20Speaker 3: I just thought i'd throw one in there.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I do like the Chargers Panthers under or I'm sorry,
- 50:26Speaker 1: the Rams Panthers under forty six and a half, Chargers
- 50:28Speaker 1: Patriots under forty six and a half, or the forty
- 50:31Speaker 1: nine Ers Eagles under forty four.
- 50:32Speaker 3: And a half.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I love the stat that Evan put in the primer
- 50:35Speaker 1: all six wild Card games are being played in outdoor stadium.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Since two thousand and four, outdoor wild Card games sixty
- 50:43Speaker 1: eight percent to the under. I think the Texans Steelers
- 50:45Speaker 1: number is too.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Low for my blood.
- 50:48Speaker 1: The Packers and the Bears are probably going to put
- 50:52Speaker 1: up points on each other. There could be a million
- 50:54Speaker 1: points scored in the Jags Bills game. So those are
- 50:58Speaker 1: the three unders that I like. I'd be happy to
- 51:00Speaker 1: add any one of those as my nominee if we
- 51:03Speaker 1: don't like the.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Pro Rams Panthers under. Personally, there was a bunch of
- 51:07Speaker 2: fluky scoring in the first meeting battle on that Yeah,
- 51:12Speaker 2: I like that under a lot. I think the Panthers
- 51:15Speaker 2: went super slow the lowest passway to over expectation game
- 51:18Speaker 2: of the season. The Rams only round fifty two plays
- 51:20Speaker 2: twenty percent less than and they had to pick six
- 51:23Speaker 2: and their season long average. Quentin Lake should be back
- 51:25Speaker 2: the Rams. You know, Dotson might not be healthy, and
- 51:29Speaker 2: you got to remember in that game the Panthers didn't
- 51:31Speaker 2: have their best corner, their best safety, a bunch of linebackers,
- 51:35Speaker 2: So I think that they'll be some I don't see
- 51:37Speaker 2: the Panthers offense doing much. I think it's going to
- 51:39Speaker 2: be some long drives in here. And ever Row disguis's coverages.
- 51:45Speaker 2: That's one of the blemishes on If you look at
- 51:48Speaker 2: Stafford and what he struggles against, it's when teams disguise
- 51:51Speaker 2: covered his postam. Panthers do that more than any team
- 51:53Speaker 2: in the league. And Everro's had success against the Shanahan
- 51:57Speaker 2: McVeigh trees. I mean, look this year, Purty struggled against Carolina,
- 52:01Speaker 2: Jordan Love lost to Carolina at home. Stafford all those
- 52:04Speaker 2: turnovers against Carolina, and Stafford against his old coordinators Raheem Morris, Everrow,
- 52:11Speaker 2: He's throned four eleven picks in four meetings. So I
- 52:14Speaker 2: think the Panthers can do enough women explosives, and I
- 52:18Speaker 2: think this will stay under forty six and a half.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Might have some impactful cross winds too.
- 52:22Speaker 3: So that's what I'm good with that.
- 52:26Speaker 4: N Okay, I brought the Steelers plus three. I know
- 52:31Speaker 4: that we might have to double down on something that
- 52:33Speaker 4: we already gave in a parlay earlier. And then I'm
- 52:35Speaker 4: gonna throw the Eagles money line in here, just because
- 52:37Speaker 4: it's a parlay. We're getting value other places. We've talked
- 52:40Speaker 4: enough about both of these games, so hopefully this is
- 52:42Speaker 4: an easy decision for you guys.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I would love to throw the Eagles in here.
- 52:46Speaker 1: That way, I could perhaps mitigate my losses with the
- 52:49Speaker 1: horrible forty nine ers plus three bet that I'm sitting
- 52:52Speaker 1: on right now.
- 52:52Speaker 3: So I'm biased. I would like to get out of that, Okay,
- 52:57Speaker 3: that'll be.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Yeah. It's just hard for me to see San Francisco
- 53:03Speaker 2: moving the ball consistently on Philadelphia, especially with their injuries,
- 53:07Speaker 2: and their defense is just so bad that even with
- 53:11Speaker 2: the Eagles offensive was they should be able to do enough.
- 53:15Speaker 2: I'm okay with either. I mean, I would like to
- 53:18Speaker 2: if we could. I would buy the hook since it's
- 53:21Speaker 2: a parlay on Pittsburgh's so super valuable here with a
- 53:24Speaker 2: low scoring game like get debt to three and a half.
- 53:27Speaker 2: So I'm okay with either. Evan, I'll let you. I'm
- 53:31Speaker 2: curious your thoughts here. Eagles money line would be mine.
- 53:35Speaker 7: I'm actually a Texan stan, so I disagreed with kind
- 53:38Speaker 7: of a lot of the things you discussed are in
- 53:39Speaker 7: that segment, but I could be biased as well. I
- 53:41Speaker 7: just I'm a big fan of the AFC South. I
- 53:43Speaker 7: put it in our bets. I like them to win
- 53:46Speaker 7: the Super Bowl at six to one. I put both
- 53:48Speaker 7: teams together, so I would lean Philly. I agree, I
- 53:52Speaker 7: don't even see Like Shanahan's done some amazing things this
- 53:55Speaker 7: year to win games. He shouldn't have that Rams game,
- 53:57Speaker 7: like all sorts of different things. It is completely possible
- 54:00Speaker 7: two to zero in the wildcard round, like he just
- 54:01Speaker 7: figures it out.
- 54:02Speaker 2: But I'll take Philly. Yeah, and Fangio's own Shanahan and
- 54:06Speaker 2: their meetings. Defense has kind of built the tack and
- 54:09Speaker 2: the Eagles are number one against tight ends, should contain Kittle.
- 54:12Speaker 2: They're number one in the NFL again short passes, and
- 54:15Speaker 2: like that's what san fran has to do here. Pierceall
- 54:18Speaker 2: not being one hundred percent, he could have been big
- 54:19Speaker 2: in this matchup. That's kind of where they're when their
- 54:21Speaker 2: offense exploded. They also feasted on some bad beat up defenses,
- 54:25Speaker 2: but when they stepped up in class, it wasn't pretty
- 54:28Speaker 2: so and you gotta remember they're traveling across country after
- 54:30Speaker 2: a war and the Eagles basically rested. Everyone should be
- 54:34Speaker 2: healthier or how to buy week, So I think this
- 54:37Speaker 2: is the end of the road for the forty nine ers. Yeah,
- 54:40Speaker 2: I mean, even their backup linebackers are now all hurt.
- 54:43Speaker 2: So yeah, let's go with the Eagles money line, Rams,
- 54:47Speaker 2: Panthers under and Chargers plus three and a half.
