- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Hello and welcome to my first dungeon presents to fuel your warmth.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: The brand new game from me, Elliott Davis, aka More Blueberries.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: Today we will be playing the first demo version of the fuel your warmth, which is crowdfunding right now on Backer Kit, head to sadfampiregame.com to support the project.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: Shenupe.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Hey!
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: You excited to play another sad two player game together?
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, this game is to feel your warmth.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's a game I wrote.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know I write games?
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: You write games?
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sometimes.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty cool.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: And we're gonna play it today.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: And it is a game about two people in love.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: One of them has become a vampire.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: And it is a single night before sunrise.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: Of them talking about their relationship.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: And whether
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the human will invite the vampire in at the end of it.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we should.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: Stuff hot.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Hot.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little hot.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what happens.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: You ready to do this thing?
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to start with the set-up cards.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: Take turns reading these cards aloud.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: As we read these cards, we begin to be immersed in the characters of the story.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Vampirism occurs a gift, a hunger.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: Two truths are certain for vampires in our story.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: Vampires cannot survive in sunlight, and vampires must be invited in.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: To define further truths about vampirism in our story and the time period of our setting, we can use one of the frame cards as inspiration or create our own setting and version of the curse for play.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: So the frame cards are not written.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: So where would you win and where would you like to set this story?
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh god, what, what do you have?
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say Obama's run number two.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's just what 2012?
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: Fall of 2012, fall of 2012.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's simpler time.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: That was just me, my sleeper.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: Is there like a time period that you, you particularly enjoy?
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: because I was in a say, like, 20, 26 streets for it.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like modern day.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a modern day.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: Modern day, New York City, New York City, modern day.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Any other quirks about vampires you would want to include like mythos wise?
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, we get to like add our own vampire mythos?
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because the idea is that the frame cards will have little inspiration for that.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, aside from vampires, can't survive in the daylight.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Vampires.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: can do mine control.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, a little mind control.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, mind control.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: I like that.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want anything?
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, I like that.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: I also think, well, I guess I'll specify that I think vampires look human.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't think they get like, I think they can get monstrous, but I think that like they also have the ability to generally look human unless you look close.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, that's creepy.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: We are in love.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: One of us has been cursed with vampirism at sunrise, a decision must be made, answer the following.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: Which of us has been cursed?
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Who first said I love you?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we talked before, and I'm gonna be cursed.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna be playing the vampire.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any feelings on which of us said I love you first?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I think I did.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, cool.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: That'll hurt.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: The vampire now takes all vampire cards and the human all-human cards.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: We must ensure each of us has a safety card, which we do, and then before continuing, we will follow the procedure on the pre-play calibration card.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: This game is sad, intimate, beautiful, and challenging.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: We will approach this conversation with openness and care.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: So the first question is, how comfortable are we with discussing physical intimacy?
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Where do we let the details flourish and where do we leave them implied?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: completely comfortable talking about physical intimacy with you.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think same cool I don't think we need to like get graphics for the listener's sake, but no, in terms of my comfort Totally we can just believe that part out.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we'll just believe all the people are like really gross Yeah, I guess we'll write thing in the middle Remember that time we
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: as the sexy cool.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we're cool with talking about physical intimacy.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: We're comfortable with details.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: We'll try to keep it PG-13 for the sake of our audience.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll dip into our if we need to.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: How comfortable are we with discussing physical violence?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Where do we let those details flourish and where do we leave them implied?
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think comfortable, and I think just like, I have like, you don't need to do like abusive relationships.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't want to do domestic violence.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: I more mean like, well, that's good to call out.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, is that I think we can leave domestic violence out of it, that cannot be, that can be a part of our relationship that is not a thing.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: So, with like, vampirism, violence and stuff for you.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: Any topics that are completely off limits?
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: Domestic violence?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: Domestic violence.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think like abusive, like relationship stuff is probably.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think some of these questions end up implying certain maybe probably kinds of emotional that what could be classified as emotional abuse.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think like physical abuse is probably the line.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: But like, who cares about my emotions?
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm kidding.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's actually bad.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: And we also have the safety cards, if anything, gets totally too fucked.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then lastly, what would we love to explore in-depth about relationships, vampirism, or both?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm happy to go wherever it takes us.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm necessarily want to, like, force us any directions, but I do think, and I think we've argued about this before, but the idea of, like, yeah, you might love someone, but then turn them into a vampirming,
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the idea of how vampism does mean you have to live forever.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I like that.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: The immortality of it all.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think like, I mean, like loving someone and being not being able to be with them because of like a thing that makes you incompatible and you can't control is devastating.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do it.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we both had fake ups this year.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, for the listener, Shendick and I both had break ups this year.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: Me, you know, about a month and a half ago, and you were about four months ago?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's been ongoing.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: It was ongoing.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Anyways.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, leave it in.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, leave it in.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think you've got six.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: We will now place two timer cards randomly throughout each of our decks.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Once the third time a card has been drawn, the game is over, and we will flip to our sunrise cards.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: We must find a doorway.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: Any threshold will work.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: I will standard sit on this side.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: You will standard sit on the other side where we can clearly see each other.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: If we do not have access to a doorway, we can create a threshold by drawing or placing a long object between us.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Once we have separated, the game has begun.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: If we cross the threshold at any point during play, the game is over.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: This is a game about love.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I am still a human.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is a game about love.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: The last time you saw me, I was human.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I am a vampire.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: In mere hours, the sun will rise, and I will die.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: And let's you invite me in.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: We will now find the card that reads sunrise in each of our decks.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: We will remove this card, shuffle our prom cards, and place our decks face down.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: We then place our sunrise cards on the bottom of our respective decks.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: At the end of the game, we'll flip our decks over and read our sunrise cards.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: We will take turns beginning with me, drawing cards and responding to prompts.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Most cards are questions or statements spoken aloud to the other player.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: When you read a prompt, I respond and vice versa.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: Some cards will say read silently at the top.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: These will be read silently, prompting a thought or feeling about the other.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: When responding to prompt cards, we can ask follow-up questions, respond freely, and linger in the silence.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: We might establish truths about each other's characters, our relationship, and the world around us.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: We will let the conversation flow until a natural pause and then draw a new card.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: The following two cards we read silently by each of us.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: Look at me when you're finished.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: When we next make eye contact, the story begins.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, it's early.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you looking at me like that?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, I didn't expect you tonight.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's like, what, two a.m. Yeah, about that.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I wanted to see you.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's nice to see you too.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Um, what, what, what, why do I am?
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't, you just, you didn't even text.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, um, just enjoying the night lately.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I haven't seen you in a while.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've been busy.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: You okay?
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: I feel great.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you look different.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't seen that work in a while.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, I guess I quit.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: You quit?
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need a job.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: Did you tell Steve?
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Steve knows.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean Steve now?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean he hasn't been in the office for a while, but.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: That was, I think he's on vacation.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's probably on vacation.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't you invite me in?
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I...
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: He usually invite yourself in.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, maybe I'm feeling old fashioned.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you being weird?
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to see you.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I haven't seen you in like two weeks.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: You haven't come to the office.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: two weeks already, huh?
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: I've been taking care of all of your accounts, all your clients.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for that.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, why didn't you tell me you quit?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: I figured I could just, I don't know, show you.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean show?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, you, when you quit a job, you tell the people you work with.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's especially like me.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't you just invite me and we can talk about this?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you keep saying it like that?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: When was the last time you ever gotten right in?
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's most of the time I wake up and you're in my living room because you have a key.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: I lost the key.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Where?
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what lost means, babe.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Why didn't you tell me you lost the key cause then I actually get the...
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to come see you.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: This is just...
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't call me or text me.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't heard from you.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: You told me to let you in.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is normal.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is okay.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you can trim it like this and I'll just let you back into my life.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: What did we go through, patches?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's just this just a patch.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you always do this.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: What am I just like a game?
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: Is it just fun?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like you come here and do whatever you want with me and then you go out and leave for a while and then you can just come back into my life whenever you want.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's not fair.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: What's not fair?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: I like you.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: And you know it.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I like you.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: You have a weird way of showing it.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: I do even get how long I've been waiting for someone.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: that every time I see you and you walk into a room the way I feel.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then you just, I feel like you treat me like garbage.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then you just show up on an ounce.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think things can be different now.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: He just just invited me in and we can talk.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so tall.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: You never go on dates.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: You only show up in your time.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: You treat me like I'll always be around like a little puppy that just follows you around.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: I gave you a key to my apartment like, you're not in my boyfriend.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we could talk about it.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: When you mean talk, you haven't even asked me out ever.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's always been like a drunken night or
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: you show up randomly to an event I'm hosting or you come to one of my parties or it's just after work and we're both working late and you just invite yourself over.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you liked the kind of impulsive stuff.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: I like you.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted you.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to be with you.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Past tense?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't have much, you know, if I'm really looking for love and why am I wasting so much in my time, hoping and praying you'll change.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I feel I have changed.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: How everything is different now.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: I can show you, I just need you to invite me in.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: What happened to you?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: You were always confident, but you are strikingly confident.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel better than I ever have.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you wanna come in, you're gonna have to explain things to me.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Why now?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: And where have you been the past two weeks?
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: First time a card drawn, the dark of night hangs over us.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: What do we hear in the quiet?
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's 230.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: Usually around this time of year, I hear Liam yelling at his TV, and I always hated that.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he did, kept you up, it's like clockwork, I can't
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's so quiet out, it's eerily quiet, weird, um, yeah, I'm sorry I'm a little concerned like, no, it's probably just on a trip or something, yeah, maybe.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I mean, I missed it because you're here and I'm so distracted, Eric, yeah, what do you, where do you need to fill me in on all these gaps?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: I've been going through a bit of a personal transformation.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: In what way?
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: How have you changed?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: You can't just say that in clicking a belief you.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: You've given me nothing to trust you with.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: I want to believe you.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: You can invite me in.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: We could talk about it.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: You just want me to keep giving.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: not fair.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: I've given you so much.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: I have something I have something wonderful to give you.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: All the parts of me.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: I've been so vulnerable with you.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: I've shared my life with you.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't and I love it.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: Anything in terms.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm so proud.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm asking for one thing right now.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: Why can't you just tell me what's been going on in these past two weeks?
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm literally here begging you.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: to just show me one piece of respect to prove that like, yeah, I'm not stupid for spending so much time and wishing and hoping and wanting to be with you and you can't even do that.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, I don't know how much clear I can be.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: You want the truth?
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think you can handle it?
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna think I'm crazy?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: I already think you're crazy.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: I am a vampire.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think I'm stupid?
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: No, babe.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're stupid.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: Well, dumbed you.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: You're a vampire.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's your big thing.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Eric.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to bed.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: talking.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, prove to me your vampire.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: They're little, but I got these fangs.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, you have sharp little teeth, would you go to a party store before this?
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're not.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, turn into a bat.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's just more than that way.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: A dog?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't turn into anything.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, actually, you know what I can do.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: Spin around.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: What is it?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: What did you do?
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: T-E-Me?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Tiny bit of mine control.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: T-E-Me, tiny bit of mine control.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not doing that to make you invite me in.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to invite me in on your own accord.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: I want this to be your choice.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: So you got into magic.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, not magic.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: I've just changed.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: You can do mine control, I have things, I have to be invited in, you can't just walk in, I cannot just walk in, okay, try and walk in.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: You literally can't walk in, I cannot walk in unless you invite me in.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck?
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, hold on, Vampire, no, it's good, it's fun how how did you become a vampire out as um I was out shortly after I last saw you couple nights after mortgins after mortgins yeah We were really drunk.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: We were really drunk and I walked home.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which was stupid
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just wanted to, you know, take in the night air, like falls coming, and I love the chill, and you walk through weather banks park.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: And... something from the shadows, just... attacked me.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: And next thing I knew, I was a vampire.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: This is crazy, this isn't real.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't real.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: This is your playing a prank on me to make me look stupid.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, okay.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I don't ever want to make you look stupid.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want me to look stupid.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know how dumb I've looked?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: The past six months?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: You sure are into my... To who?
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Who thinks he looks stupid?
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Me.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: My friends.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone at work, I'm keeping your accounts alive.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, work doesn't matter anymore, babe.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: We can just do whatever we want.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I mean, if you're a vampire, then make Liam scream.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: I told you, I think Liam's on vacation.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Where did you kill him?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Did you kill him?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: Could we just, please focus on the good here for a minute.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_01]: We have a good thing going, and it just got a whole lot better.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: We have a good thing going for you, and it just got kind of weird and
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really believe you, but I kind of believe you, and I am stressed.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: Did you kill my neighbor?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: He was keeping you up at night.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, what are you doing?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm living, are you?
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: Are you trying to make me a vampire?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: I was sort of hoping you'd be open to the idea.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: So we can have this on and off again.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: Weird romantic tree now forever, babe.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you joined me in this, it's on again forever.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know what's so.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: I always wanted you to call me babe.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're finally saying, and it feels so unnatural and weird, and you don't get to call me babe.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: Because you love me.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I love you.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: There's this confidence at first, but your skin looks almost sickly.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little hungry.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Feels like you're a different, not in a good way.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: In a way that scares me.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: You kind of look, you know,
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: and the moon hits you just right, you know, in the thriller music video in Michael Jackson turns into the goal, yeah, you could look a little goalish, yeah, it's a side effect, I guess, but once I eat, I'll be more beautiful than you could imagine.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: How often do you have to eat?
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: sometimes twice.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: You have to eat twice once a day, and sometimes twice, and that means you have to kill someone.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: Don't always have to kill.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: You, so you don't have to kill them?
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, but if I leave them alive, then they'll turn, so I don't always want.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: to turn the person, how many people have you killed?
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: 10.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: So you've turned four people?
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple nights I didn't need.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: I still get needs to things.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you...
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: The sun will kill me.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but we don't have to worry about that if you invite me in and I can stay with you and we can talk and you can join me and we can build the life.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: You always wanted for us.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: What are you?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: I want kids.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: want to buy a home with the partner I want to wedding.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: We could have a wedding at night.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: You love a party?
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a old night wedding is kind of weird, no?
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but how do I explain that to my parents?
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Your parents don't really want to have us explain anyway.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: How are you gonna explain not eating the food at our wedding?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: How do I explain, not being able to see my parents that day, and kneeling out would happen from the afternoon of sunset till sunrise?
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: How do I explain, not being able to take like pre-wetting photos and doing engagement shoot?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: We could be inside, can you kind of sunlight through a window, touch you?
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't, I wouldn't test it.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Eric, did you think through any of this?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have a chance to think through any of this.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: I was attacked.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: Who turned you?
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: I... Don't know.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: Can you have... Chates?
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: Is that the thing that can happen?
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, listen.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: Let's like... You remember when we first met?
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: It was your job interview.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: My job interview?
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Was interviewing you with your resume?
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: You were not qualified.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: But you hired me, anyone?
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: You were charming and funny.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, you just, there's something about you that I, and you do great.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: I went to bat for you.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: For you, it's always been easy.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's always been easy.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's one of my favorite memories.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: I liked you.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: I was so into you, it was so easy.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: I felt I'll get a warm and... way smiled,
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, I'm, I, yeah, I don't, I don't get nervous often, and, I mean, I'm hot, I know what I look like, and she, damn right you're hot, you make me flustered and I can't find words, and I just, I crave being around you so much.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: But I wanted that when you were human.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I felt like you never wanted that with me.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was lost as a human.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like I have a clarity.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's so vague.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: vague?
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: What are you clear about?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: Life is.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: hours to live, jobs and expectations and rules.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: They apply to humans they don't apply to me.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can be whoever I want to be now and you can be that with me.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: The rules you have
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: make it make that not true.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: You can be a vampire.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: I can.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: I need to live by those rules.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I never liked to something that much anyway.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: You took me hiking.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: We could go on night hikes.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Night hikes?
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: Night hikes?
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then what happens on the summarizes?
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: We go home and we go to bed.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: What do we do when you want to go to the beach?
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: Go to the beach or night?
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: And what happens when you're done with me?
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: I can't imagine ever wanting to be apart from you again.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, what happened when we went to Greece together, and you got mad, and then you left, and you didn't even tell me you were flying back home.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: Then what happened a month after that?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: You were at Morgan's again, we got drunk, we got upset, about something I don't even, I still
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then these past two weeks, you consistently fall out of my life.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_01]: I was so lost before, and I'm sorry, I'm sorry about all of that.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: I really am, and I feel like I understand myself for the first time in my entire life.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm, I was a dick.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: You weren't dick.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: I was a dick.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: What do you understand about yourself?
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: I, I just feel present.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not in my head.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: For the first time, I,
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: want to see the world with you and I want to, I want to build a home blackout curtains.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to love you openly and fully in the night, in the night.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean for Eric?
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: Who is Eric?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: You're seeing yourself.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: Eric is impassioned.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: Eric wants to experiment with painting.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: Eric wants to run as fast as he can.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: And Eric wants to see every inch of the city that exists between sunrise and sunset.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: That sounds nice, it will be, for Eric.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: Look, we can talk about this all night and, ah, the Sun will kill me as I might remind you, why don't you just invite me inside and then we can keep talking and
- 36:12[SPEAKER_00]: You are a vampire.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_00]: So you say you told me you killed ten people ten.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_00]: A man that I know has showed up to my door telling me he has killed 10 people and is asking me to invite him into my home.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I killed the 10 people that their Liam neighbor annoying douchebag.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to even know what was on his hard drive.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: I killed that person who would mean to you at work a few weeks ago that like Middle Age White Lady who was really fucking nasty to you.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: The one that came in and asked for directions?
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: but she was she kind of had a look about her where she was like kind of looking at you funny.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you killed her?
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'd fed on her and it's that seemed like everything moreals feel different once you're on this side of things.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: And why don't you just let me in and I trust that you won't kill me.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to kill you.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to kill you.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to turn you.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but why?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know what you're asking me?
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: What are you asking me?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: To be with me.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_00]: To be with you forever.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: forever.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: You've basically come to my home.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: at it's 3 a.m. now to propose to me after not taking me on a single date after basically treating me like a fuck toy for six months and then telling me that you've murdered 10 people and if I'm with you I have to become a vampire.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know how insane you sound?
- 38:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: But it'd be so fun, we'd have so much fun.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: How is your pitch?
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be so fun.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be so fun.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: We will do, we could just do whatever we want.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's a ridiculous pitch.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, life, I didn't know two weeks ago, I didn't know vampires were real.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: What are you gonna tell your parents?
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna talk to my parents.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: When you tell your sister, you would like your sister.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: I like my sister.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe she'll maybe she'll want to be turned to.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: What about your niece and nephew?
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to turn my niece and nephew their kids.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: I got to know kids saying, you know?
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to eat kids.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to turn kids.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: No, you shouldn't do that to children or your sister.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if she wants, I'm not forcing you to make this decision.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: But you're asking me to decide right now.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm asking you to decide before the sun comes up because you're going to die because I will die so you're putting your death on me.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yes So you've basically come here Telling me that if I don't agree to be with you you're gonna die Yes
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because I don't think you're going to say no, I think you're going to invite me and so it's like high risk.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because you were talking to your top high risk high reward, babe.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: You've given me an impossible choice.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: Eric, you.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: I should be even a vampire.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: You're just trying to.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: fuck with me and just have this weird vampire king so you could fuck me like a vampire?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean sounds like I guess I technically would be fucking you like a vampire but it's not because of some weird vampire king.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's because I'm a vampire.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: Not to get caught up in the
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: I have responsibilities how to take care of them.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: Who doesn't take my mom to the hospital?
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: Because we've close to them.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: What do I do about her kidney?
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Her dialysis?
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Who's gonna take her?
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: My dad can't drive.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: We can hire someone.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: You quit your job.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: But we can...
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I... We could eat somebody rich and we could take their money.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: We always set eat the rich.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like, now we can live to really eat the rich.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: how would that work?
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have a house where we eat them.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then we take their money.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_00]: Rich will don't keep their money in, like, their mattresses.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: Are you getting caught up in the details?
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: These are important details.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: They don't take them.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: They don't take them.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: They don't take them.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: They just do what's comfortable for you.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think about anybody else, but yourself.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to be an ad salesman for the rest of your life?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that was my dream.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm so boring, uh...
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you don't even listen to me.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: I always tell you I love marketing.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: You love marketing.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: I am offering... ...something wonderful.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: And you love marketing.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: don't get why you're mad.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't understand how you could hear the pitch for staying young and hot in a mortal forever and having the relationship you always wanted with me and you can say, I love marketing, I want to see my parents.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because Eric, I want to build a home with you.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: I want to grow old with you and die like that is part of a relationship.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's a part of being with someone that I want.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want with you.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't have to be that.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be young and hot forever.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: I want to have a kid.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can't tell you the child with you.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: We could adopt.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and as that kid grows up and we don't change what do we do?
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: When we eventally tell them and and we need that there's an adult.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: What if they want to play soccer or basketball or baseball big out of And I'm broke baby.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: I would try for a kid with for our kid That makes no sense like the sun you're so you're still lit by the sun.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: I died broke it out, I'd find a way.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any vampire friends?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: I meant I've met a couple, there's a community, our burgeoning sort of community.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like there's been more in the city as the taste go on.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, there's this city becoming full of vampires.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_01]: Full, I don't think anybody wants that, but there's definitely more than there were two weeks ago, although two weeks ago, I thought there were none.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to be in there with you, and I just want you to wrap your arms around me, and tell me the things you love about me, can we just do that?
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, I can leave after that, or maybe you'd change your mind, or I don't know.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: What's your honor that two weeks ago?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I've got my arms around you at Morgans.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: We laughed, love your laugh, some infectious.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: It fills everyone up, it makes me feel comfortable.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I asked you, I asked you to come over.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then...
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: Said I think I need to be alone right now.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: You were on for two weeks and you come to my door saying, you want me to, you want to be with me forever?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: What happens when you change your mind next week?
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm already a vampire.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: I am not.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: I am not changing my mind.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: I feel so certain.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: The second time card has been drawn.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: Don approaches.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: What are we avoiding in this conversation?
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: I love you, but I can't trust you.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: not right now.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: You've broken me so many times.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't even know if I'm dreaming right now, but if this is real, what you're asking of me is literally
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: You want me to give everything to you?
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you are honestly in full earnestness belief that you deserve that for me?
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe I deserve it.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm asking for it though.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think you deserve a version of me that it's worth trusting.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I am...
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I am wanting to be that with this large coffee up.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you want to be with me?
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: I have, I've just never met anyone like you.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: You're just one of the kindest and most passionate people about, I love that you love marketing.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry I was rude about it before, but it's like I find it very endearing, the way you talk about your work.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: And we can find a way for you to keep doing it.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: I love the way you see the world, I love when I talk you on that hike and you just point it out things that I would have never, never noticed.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: And you always do that.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: You're just always seeing things that I don't.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: And you, the way you see the world makes me see the world in a better way.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: I make you see the world and what is that you wish you did.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_00]: You like the way I talk about marketing and add sales.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like other things like dancing.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: I know you do.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: I love dancing with you.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: Really bad.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: Looks like this is the first time you're actually like... Have you been with other people?
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like, in my life?
- 49:27[SPEAKER_00]: Not in your life, but just like in a serious way.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: I guess in high school, if that counts?
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: though I don't really think it does, but you're 30.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's this one boy in high school who... Phil Schaefer.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: Phil Schaefer.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he made me feel like I was just the
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: most important person in the entire world.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: And we dated in secret all through junior and senior year and then he went off to college and he I don't know was afraid to start off college with a long distance boyfriend thought being gay
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: make friends.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, that's okay.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then I pretty much just kind of didn't get over that heartbreak for I suppose 10 years and it just sort of looked around New York City and thought I wanted to be alone for a while and then I met you.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: because you wanted to do add sales.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because I wanted to do add sales.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: Or I thought that the add sales manager I saw through the window was pretty cute.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you applied?
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: I never tell you that.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, then of course that's why I applied.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's ridiculous.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm ridiculous.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know this.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: And you got the job.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's so embarrassing.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's so embarrassing.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: Where did you kill Stewart?
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: I did kill Stewart.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: He was a dickhead.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't a dickhead.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: Look, we can have the life that we have always dreamt of.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_00]: Together.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you want that?
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: You don't get to call me big.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: fine.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: Sachi.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: You call me Sachi?
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sachi.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: We could have a good life.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: We could have a long, long, good life longer than longer than we ever dreamed of.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: We can watch the world change together.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to live forever.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: I want to die.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: Preferably holding my partner's hand as we both die together in the same bed at the same exact time, but obviously that is we could do that we could do that we could We could lay down in bed when we when we decide we're done we could lay down in bed, and we could draw the curtain and we could we could die in bed together when we're when we're done when we're done like that we could die That's like this is like the situation you could do that in See what I did there understand yeah
- 53:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but we can't do so many other things.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: Again, what do I do with all the responsibilities?
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like your responsibilities?
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: Are you sure you don't want to watch your niece enough you grow up?
- 53:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I will watch them go up.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: Their bedtime is like 7 p.m.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: When you, their lives happen in the sun.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they can come visit me when.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: During the day, inside.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: In your pitch black curtain, blacked out home, you think they're not going to want to go outside and play with their uncle.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_01]: Getting caught up in the details.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting ahead of yourself.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, will figure out.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_00]: Asking reasonable questions.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: And like, okay, fine.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: Let's not get bogged down by all of this.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_00]: But again,
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: What happens if some time and forever you decide you don't want to be with me anymore?
- 54:17[SPEAKER_00]: There's another hip-cool vampire that comes your way, and that's your forever person.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: Do you just leave, and then I am supposed to carry on in eternity knowing that forever now, the person that I fell in love with?
- 54:36[SPEAKER_00]: The person that showed me that they would rather be alone than be with me as a human.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: That person that I love so much has again left me.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: But this time I have to watch that forever.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_00]: as a vampire.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: Which I don't even want to be.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: I won't even just walk away.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: Ironically, I suppose I don't want to be alone.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: And...
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: I spent these last two weeks.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: Thinking I could hack it on my own.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: Thinking I could be this.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: Lone will vampire roam around New York City doing whatever I want.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: And every morning before the sun rose, I crawled into bed and I ached to have you there with me.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: Smiling at me as we went to bed.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: So you're afraid of being alone.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't everyone?
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: Aren't you?
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm also comfortable being alone.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: I've been alone for so long.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_00]: I've been alone miles with you.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_00]: The fear of being alone shouldn't be there's no while you're showing up here afraid to walk away.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you know how insulting that is?
- 56:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're only here because you're afraid, because you spent two weeks alone and realize you couldn't hack it.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what if I'm with you?
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: You're not alone anymore.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: You get to do whatever you want again.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_00]: You can go out, leave me, come back whenever you want.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: Cause, hey, I'm also a vampire now.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: You can have me whenever you want.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_00]: Are you kidding me?
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Eric, I'm good.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: The last time record.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, George, it sounds coming up, though.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_01]: And now I need you to, I do need you to invite me in.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: We can keep talking.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: We can keep talking.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: We can figure this out.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: I just can't over those buildings in about 30 seconds and you are going to watch me die.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: Can't let you, man.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: I deserve better than this.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we could just, like, hold my hand?
- 58:35[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, that's it.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, tier, real tier!
- 59:52[SPEAKER_01]: They're an actor, folks.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_01]: That is all for this episode of To Feel Your Warrant.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: We can cross and hug now.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I love you.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sadvampiregame.com, if you want to do that.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_00]: With your friends damn good.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_01]: Remember if you're having fun You're already doing it right
