- 0:00Speaker 1: And you're going to fail. And you're going to fail.
- 0:02Speaker 1: And you're going to fail. And you're going to fail.
- 0:05Speaker 1: And then you're going to win. And that's life. Life
- 0:15Speaker 1: without those challenges, it's just existence. Don't just exist.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Go live.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Eventually, inaction will cost you. But your default setting should be,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I'm going to do something. Just get up, move towards
- 0:34Speaker 1: that challenge, and go attack it. Go do something that's hard.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Struggle sucks.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Depends on how you frame it. If you want freedom
- 0:47Speaker 1: in your life, you have to have discipline. Move towards
- 0:51Speaker 1: that challenge, whatever that challenge is. And you may be
- 0:54Speaker 1: successful and you may not be successful, but you will
- 0:58Speaker 1: be better. And the next challenge, you're going to be
- 1:01Speaker 1: more prepared for. Because we're going to have wins, we're
- 1:06Speaker 1: going to have losses. We're going to have successes, we're
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to have failures. We're going to have good nights,
- 1:13Speaker 1: we're going to have bad nights. We're going to have
- 1:15Speaker 1: good relationships, we're going to have bad relationships. We're going
- 1:17Speaker 1: to have good ideas and bad ideas. We're going to
- 1:19Speaker 1: make money, we're going to lose money. All these things
- 1:21Speaker 1: are going to happen. And if you oscillate emotionally up
- 1:25Speaker 1: and down drastically, it's going to be problematic. Embrace those emotions,
- 1:30Speaker 1: but don't let those emotions embrace you. Keep pushing through
- 1:34Speaker 1: things that suck. This is a very difficult thing to
- 1:38Speaker 1: do because it hurts. I'm going to go forward. I'm
- 1:41Speaker 1: not going to quit, so I'm going to go forward.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Bring it on.
- 1:46Speaker 4: You feel like.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Your life is going to last a long time. And
- 1:53Speaker 4: if I was to talk to my 26-year-old self, I
- 1:58Speaker 4: would tell that kid that you don't have time.
- 2:05Speaker 6: And....
- 2:09Speaker 4: And you really, you don't know when it's going to end.
- 2:14Speaker 4: And so... Get out there and do the things you
- 2:17Speaker 4: want to do. Get out there and get after them now.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Don't wait another second. Take advantage of it. Get out
- 2:27Speaker 4: there and live and strive to be better because the
- 2:33Speaker 4: life you've got, which I just said was a gift,
- 2:38Speaker 4: it is a gift.
- 2:42Speaker 1: To live it.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Tick tock.
- 2:52Speaker 6: What is ticking off here is not the clock.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's your life. You are running out of time.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I hear the clock ticking. That's what I hear. And
- 3:09Speaker 1: the end is nigh.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You don't know how much time you have. You keep
- 3:14Speaker 2: telling yourself you got time and watch what happens. If
- 3:17Speaker 2: you don't take a hold of your life.
- 3:20Speaker 5: If you don't get serious with what's going on in
- 3:22Speaker 5: front of you, you're going to forfeit everything that you
- 3:25Speaker 5: were born to be.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Time waits for no man. That clock, it's always ticking.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone
- 3:36Speaker 5: else's life.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You got to give it everything you got, whether it's
- 3:40Speaker 2: your time, your talent, or your treasures.
- 3:44Speaker 7: When's the time to jump in the pool? When's the
- 3:47Speaker 7: time to kiss the boy? When's the time to get married?
- 3:50Speaker 7: When's the time to take the training wheels off the bike?
- 3:52Speaker 7: When's the time to live your life?
- 3:54Speaker 5: The answer is, I don't know.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Nobody knows.
- 3:57Speaker 7: There's no right answer.
- 3:58Speaker 2: There's that moment in time.
- 4:01Speaker 6: However you spend your time, that tells you who you are.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Stop waiting for tomorrow. Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And I'm saying to you, whatever you got to do,
- 4:12Speaker 2: do it.
- 4:13Speaker 7: Because if you don't, life is going to whoop you
- 4:15Speaker 7: until you surrender. Tick tock.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Who's not going to see you accomplish your goals? Who's
- 4:23Speaker 2: not going to see you blow up? Who's not going
- 4:25Speaker 2: to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor
- 4:28Speaker 2: with you?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Who put in what?
- 4:29Speaker 6: Because you average.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And one day you're going to be great, but you
- 4:31Speaker 2: think you got time.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Fight that ticking clock with everything you got.
- 4:35Speaker 3: God's time is one of the most powerful, important tools
- 4:39Speaker 3: that any of us will ever get because time, we
- 4:43Speaker 3: never get back.
- 4:44Speaker 5: You got to have faith and that faith gives you patience.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That it's not going to happen as quickly as you
- 4:50Speaker 2: want it to happen. There's not an hour that's going
- 4:52Speaker 2: to go by. There's not a minute that's going to
- 4:55Speaker 2: go by that is.
- 4:56Speaker 6: Not accounted for.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Greatness takes time.
- 5:02Speaker 4: What is preventing most people from moving in the direction
- 5:06Speaker 4: that they want to move is a lack of discipline.
- 5:11Speaker 5: And no one wants to hear that answer. It's the
- 5:13Speaker 5: harshest answer.
- 5:15Speaker 3: This is hard work.
- 5:16Speaker 6: It's every day.
- 5:17Speaker 5: When they see that word discipline, it's actually a slap
- 5:19Speaker 5: in the face because they know it's true.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Give any fraction of self-discipline the ability to not want
- 5:26Speaker 3: to do it, but still do it.
- 5:27Speaker 2: That's the most powerful thing in the world.
- 5:30Speaker 5: What are you going to get without discipline? Are you
- 5:31Speaker 5: going to be in good physical shape without discipline? Are
- 5:34Speaker 5: you going to be financially successful without discipline? Are you
- 5:36Speaker 5: going to become more intellectually powerful without discipline?
- 5:42Speaker 2: You're going to see me for who I am.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Because I need to change who I'm not.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Discipline is the root of all good qualities. If you
- 5:53Speaker 5: want to make progress in your life, you've got to
- 5:54Speaker 5: have discipline.
- 5:57Speaker 7: Discipline equals freedom.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You want freedom in your life?
- 6:00Speaker 5: You want to achieve what it is you want to achieve?
- 6:02Speaker 1: How do you do that?
- 6:03Speaker 5: You do it through discipline.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You do it through hard work. You do it by
- 6:07Speaker 1: knowing what.
- 6:07Speaker 4: It is you're supposed to do and then actually doing it.
- 6:12Speaker 7: You have to face yourself.
- 6:14Speaker 4: What am I going to do today to change what
- 6:17Speaker 4: I see in this mirror?
- 6:19Speaker 1: It starts with yourself, man.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Through hard work, you can outwork anybody.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Like I'm going to be extreme in my discipline. Somebody
- 6:27Speaker 5: asked me that on social media.
- 6:28Speaker 1: How do you master discipline? I'm like, you don't.
- 6:30Speaker 4: You don't. You keep working at it though.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Every day.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It takes power.
- 6:36Speaker 4: It takes effort. It takes discipline to break the old you.
- 6:41Speaker 7: What gives you confidence is not being afraid.
- 6:43Speaker 2: It's overcoming the fear.
- 6:45Speaker 4: There's no one in the world that enjoys taking criticism.
- 6:49Speaker 3: It's in the discomfort zone is where my confidence is
- 6:53Speaker 3: getting built.
- 6:53Speaker 4: The tougher things you go through, the more confidence you're
- 6:56Speaker 4: going to have.
- 6:56Speaker 1: The more confidence you.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Have, the better you're going to get.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But I'm going to work and try and make myself better.
- 7:01Speaker 2: And that's the mentality you have.
- 7:03Speaker 1: A lot of us who are afraid of something.
- 7:05Speaker 3: We allow our minds to choose the path of least
- 7:07Speaker 3: resistance so we go a different route.
- 7:11Speaker 4: What I did was what I knew how to do,
- 7:12Speaker 4: which was work.
- 7:14Speaker 7: You figure it.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Out by going inside yourself.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Because being a warrior takes a whole different mindset.
- 7:22Speaker 4: That's what I'm going to do.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You have time.
- 7:32Speaker 4: You have the knowledge and the willpower and the discipline
- 7:37Speaker 4: to get it done.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Your heart, your life, your happiness is your responsibility and
- 7:45Speaker 1: your responsibility alone.
- 7:48Speaker 5: One day you're going to realize your life is yours
- 7:52Speaker 5: and there's a lot of people important to you that
- 7:54Speaker 5: surround it, but ultimately it's yours.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Then you must decide where you want to invest this life.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Invest in something worthwhile.
- 8:04Speaker 3: You have to picture yourself there. Wherever it is, you've
- 8:07Speaker 3: got to picture yourself there. The next step is you've
- 8:11Speaker 3: got to believe it.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Number one in your life's blueprint should be a deep
- 8:20Speaker 6: belief in your own dignity, your own worth, and your
- 8:27Speaker 6: own somebody-ness. Don't allow anybody to make you feel that
- 8:35Speaker 6: you are nobody. See, sometimes we can't say, I can
- 8:42Speaker 6: do that.
- 8:43Speaker 7: But what we can say, that it's possible that I
- 8:48Speaker 7: can have my dream as we run toward it, as
- 8:51Speaker 7: we work on it day in and day out.
- 8:56Speaker 1: They were going to make a change and then they
- 9:00Speaker 1: made it.
- 9:02Speaker 3: This is your moment. It's not tomorrow. It's not next year.
- 9:08Speaker 3: It's not when you're going to graduate. It's right here,
- 9:11Speaker 3: right now. And every choice you make, you're impacting that thing.
- 9:16Speaker 6: We're going to be lions.
- 9:18Speaker 2: You know, when a lion is injured, when a lion
- 9:21Speaker 2: is bleeding, he licks his wounds and he keeps walking.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Your time is one of the most powerful tools you
- 9:31Speaker 5: will ever have.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Light hold up!
- 9:36Speaker 5: Light hold up!
- 9:37Speaker 2: And when that thing tells you to quit, you look
- 9:40Speaker 2: at it in its eye and.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Say, I ain't going nowhere.
- 9:43Speaker 7: I will break you before you break me.
- 9:45Speaker 2: You will be like a shark.
- 9:46Speaker 6: You will think like a shark. And you can't go backwards.
- 9:49Speaker 7: If you stop swimming, you will die.
- 9:52Speaker 2: If life knocks you down, try and land on your back.
- 9:55Speaker 7: Because if you can look up, you can get up.
- 9:58Speaker 7: This is the year of the war.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Ready?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Act like you hear me.
- 10:01Speaker 6: This is the year of the word.
- 10:02Speaker 4: This is the year of the word.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Act like you.
- 10:05Speaker 2: The moment and the time for you to change your
- 10:07Speaker 2: life is now.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Always feel that you count. Always feel that you have worth.
- 10:21Speaker 7: And always feel that your life has ultimate significance.
- 10:29Speaker 3: You choose what you're looking for because what you look for,
- 10:33Speaker 3: you find.
- 10:34Speaker 1: That's how life works. Make good choices, great things happen.
- 10:40Speaker 1: But you've got to believe in you.
- 10:41Speaker 6: So believe.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Believe.
