Speaker 1: that think, oh, well, I just sit on the sidelines.

Speaker 1: Then they hear a message like this and they're just, oh,

Speaker 1: it's just going to come to me. But what they're

Speaker 1: not realizing is that the reason that they're sitting on

Speaker 1: the sidelines, Okay, hold on, let's stop. My spare guards

Speaker 1: are saying stop. You could sit on the sidelines and

Speaker 1: allow money to flow to you through your business. You

Speaker 1: can if you have a belief sce done that supports it.

Speaker 1: think that's what's missing. Is there a lot of specially

Speaker 1: I'm here, so it's just going to flow to me. Yeah,

Speaker 1: it will. Is your faith high enough to support you

Speaker 1: standing on the sidelines, because really, if your faith is

Speaker 1: high enough to support money flowing to you in that way,

Speaker 1: you best believe you're taking action. So you might be

Speaker 1: on the sidelines from time to time, but you're still

Speaker 1: I had to use my phone, and it was a

Speaker 1: flip phone because it wasn't. I didn't have a smartphone,

Speaker 1: and if I wanted better sound quality, I would have

Speaker 1: to pay a Internet radio service, and I did for

Speaker 1: a period of time. It was like eight hundred dollars

Speaker 1: a month to record one show a week, one show

Speaker 1: a week. Now I can just get on here and

Speaker 1: record it, and I have the equipment. I have a

Speaker 1: client right now who's moving into voiceover work, and the

Speaker 1: challenging part has been building the setup so that he

Speaker 1: can do it in his home. But in terms of

Speaker 1: him using his gift, talent, and ability. One hundred percent,

Speaker 1: he's in demand. Right, So with all of these changes,

Speaker 1: I don't think the intellectual consciousness has caught up too

Speaker 1: that we can do this, and so we don't have

Speaker 1: the mindsets to support that we can do this. Like

Speaker 1: we might be going through the motions, but our inner

Speaker 1: world's like, oh my god, I don't know if this

Speaker 1: is going to work. I just invested this amount of money.

Speaker 1: Is this going to happen? Could this work? I don't

Speaker 1: see anybody else doing what I'm doing. So this prescription

Speaker 1: I'm giving you is to help you establish that foundation

Speaker 1: and then you can build off of it. Right, So

Speaker 1: you must lock in. I one hundred percent believe I

Speaker 1: can experience overflowing prosperity in my passion business. I'm not

Speaker 1: available for any other reality. I no longer question if

Speaker 1: my business is possible. I now am only a match

Speaker 1: to overflowing prosperity in my business. Period. You must lack

Speaker 1: that in. You must lack that in. And the same

Speaker 1: way I locked in parking spots here in LA and

Speaker 1: I've told that story many but now anywhere I go,

Speaker 1: I get a parking spot. But it's because I stopped

Speaker 1: on a day I was circulus going round and round

Speaker 1: around a block trying to find a parking spot, and

Speaker 1: I stopped and I said, I can't live like this.

Speaker 1: I can't live like this. If LA is like this,

Speaker 1: I cannot live like this. So I need to change

Speaker 1: this reality for myself. I need to change this reality

Speaker 1: for myself. So my new reality became wherever I go,

Speaker 1: I get a beautiful and amazing parking spot. Everywhere I go,

Speaker 1: I get a parking spot close nearby. And you know what,

Speaker 1: I find the few times, like I can typically parking
13:48
Speaker 1: up front of everywhere I go ninety nine percent of
13:51
Speaker 1: the time. Yesterday, as a matter of fact, I was
13:54
Speaker 1: being a little impatient. I had, I had, I was
13:57
Speaker 1: working through some other stuff in my my consciousness, and

Speaker 1: I was driving to the store at the same time,
14:03
Speaker 1: which is what we do. We're human beings, so think
14:06
Speaker 1: about one thing, and we got to go run an
14:07
Speaker 1: errand and I'm I get to the Whole Foods in
14:11
Speaker 1: my area and I'm just like, Okay, what gott you
14:15
Speaker 1: haveet parking spot? And so I wind up parking like
14:17
Speaker 1: three into the row. But usually I park like a
14:20
Speaker 1: ride up front at the door, and I was like, Okay,
14:24
Speaker 1: it's fine. I'm just going to park three deep. It's fine,
14:27
Speaker 1: it's still close. Like what right, it's like ten ten
14:31
Speaker 1: additional steps, maybe twenty, who cares so. But at the
14:37
Speaker 1: minute I started to pull into that spot, I look
14:39
Speaker 1: over and somebody's pulling out in front of the door
14:43
Speaker 1: where I normally park, and I thought, oh, this is me,
14:48
Speaker 1: this is me. Whatever's going on in my world, it's
14:51
Speaker 1: affecting my parking spot game not terribly so, and so
14:55
Speaker 1: this is me. I can shift out of this energy.

Speaker 1: And I share this with you because if you lock

Speaker 1: in a belief right and you take the time to

Speaker 1: do that work, it's a talking to yourself. It's a declaration.

Speaker 1: It's a setting of a boundary. It's a line driven,

Speaker 1: it's a line drawn in the sand. Is that you

Speaker 1: draw the line and you say this is the way

Speaker 1: it's going to go. The verse responds, the universe responds.

Speaker 1: And it's only when you stop living in that where

Speaker 1: you might see a little waiver. But pretty much, if

Speaker 1: you lock in something, it becomes your truth. Is it work? Yeah,

Speaker 1: if you're holding a lot of resistance and limiting beliefs

Speaker 1: about it, yeah, you got to clean that stuff up.

Speaker 1: I'm not going to pretend like you don't. But once

Speaker 1: you do, you'll be able to lock this in. Right,

Speaker 1: You will be able to lock this in and it

Speaker 1: becomes your reality. It becomes your reality. So one more time,

Speaker 1: always have an idea that can generate income. That's a

Speaker 1: great thought to think. I am good at selling my

Speaker 1: services or my product. It's a great thought to think

Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what other people are up to, my

Speaker 1: business prospers. That's a wonderful thought to think. All right there,

Speaker 1: so I'm so grateful I get to witness my brother's

Speaker 1: business really growing and expanding and at a rap at

Speaker 1: what rate. It's so it's so exciting to see, and

Speaker 1: it's such a beautiful energy to be in when I'm

Speaker 1: also doing wanting the same thing for my life. So

Speaker 1: being able to witness it is so thrilling. And he'll

Speaker 1: he'll ask me to come and work in the studio

Speaker 1: from time to time. And so I have worked in

Speaker 1: the studio enough that I know, you know, I know

Speaker 1: his sweet mates, and I know, you know, the other

Speaker 1: businesses around his And so one of the business owners,

Speaker 1: chatty Guy, comes in, This is recently, and he's kind

Speaker 1: of grumbly. He's a grumbling type of guy, but he's
17:56
Speaker 1: he was particularly grumbly, and so, you know, I just

Speaker 1: I'm mind of my own business, and so of course
18:02
Speaker 1: there's always a moment where he comes over and he
18:04
Speaker 1: wants to talk to me, and so he's going on
18:06
Speaker 1: and on and on about how his business is suddenly suffering.

Speaker 1: Mind you, the last time I was in the studio

Speaker 1: was about a month ago, and you know, he seemed
18:15
Speaker 1: to be doing just fine. And I mean he is

Speaker 1: like he had the car washing guy there and doing
18:21
Speaker 1: all his cars. He sells cars, and he had clients
18:27
Speaker 1: coming in even that day. You know, while he's telling
18:29
Speaker 1: me all this, he's like, oh, business is so bad.

Speaker 1: You know, everything going on with immigration. Those are my
18:36
Speaker 1: those are my clients, and you know they're not buying
18:40
Speaker 1: and things are so quiet, and it's just so bad.

Speaker 1: And I realized, like when I never ever ever do
18:51
Speaker 1: I hear that type of language come out of my
18:55
Speaker 1: brother's mouse. Never ever, ever ever do I hear him say, oh,

Speaker 1: anything about market business? What's going on? All I hear

Speaker 1: is oh, I just got another client. I just have
19:11
Speaker 1: another project. I got another project, got another project. And
19:18
Speaker 1: so here's two different mindsets, right, And so for you,

Speaker 1: as you grow your passion driven business, you really have
19:30
Speaker 1: to choose the language. One thing I say to everybody,
19:34
Speaker 1: and you're metaphysical fucking people, so we know this, and
19:37
Speaker 1: so lock it in. Stop fucking complaining, And I'm using
19:40
Speaker 1: that language purposely. Stop fucking complaining. Every time your mind
19:44
Speaker 1: wants to complain about something, stop just stop, because it's
19:49
Speaker 1: a habit. If there really is an issue, you're not
19:52
Speaker 1: gonna solve it through complaining about it. You're just gonna
19:56
Speaker 1: burn a lot of energy. And then not be able
19:58
Speaker 1: to rally yourself to see possibility. And so just stop

Speaker 1: fucking complaining. If there is an issue, look at it

Speaker 1: and on ask yourself, is there something that I can do?

Speaker 1: Is there a mindset shift I need to make and

Speaker 1: do that? But stop fucking complaining. I don't mean obviously,

Speaker 1: I stay aware enough with the news right now where

Speaker 1: I know, you know roughly what's going immigration wise, but

Speaker 1: I did not know all the details. He scared me crazy,

Speaker 1: you know, I'm like, oh my god, like right, like
20:43
Speaker 1: I know like the pertinent issues and you know what's
20:47
Speaker 1: been going on with the Supreme Court. I know facts,
20:50
Speaker 1: but I'm living my life. Right Here's a man who's
20:52
Speaker 1: like made it a such a thing that now it's
20:56
Speaker 1: affecting his business and it does not have to be
20:59
Speaker 1: that way. It does not have to be that way.

Speaker 1: And I sure sure he gave me statistics that he

Speaker 1: was like, well, you know, he broke it down. He's like,

Speaker 1: I only sold X number of cars to white men

Speaker 1: last year and to black people, and then the rest

Speaker 1: went to people who would be immigrants. And I hear.

Speaker 1: I honor his statistics, but what if that's just an

Speaker 1: opportunity right. I work for a small business in San Francisco,

Speaker 1: and I've said this before. It was in staffing, and
21:42
Speaker 1: I worked for them for four and a half years.

Speaker 1: And every year the owner of the business, he was
21:48
Speaker 1: in his eighties, he sins passed. Every year we did
21:53
Speaker 1: something new. You know, our core business was administrative, but
21:58
Speaker 1: we always added something. Okay, now we're going to do

Speaker 1: convention work. Okay, now we're doing large scale hospitality events
22:05
Speaker 1: every year. And I was the person that did the
22:07
Speaker 1: staffing for it. And you just switch. It wasn't a
22:12
Speaker 1: big upheaval. You use your same models, you switch, you
22:15
Speaker 1: find a way, right, that's business. This eighty year old
22:20
Speaker 1: man who didn't have social media or you know, I
22:24
Speaker 1: believe he had an NBA, but it wasn't like he
22:26
Speaker 1: always commented that his son's NBA mindset is very different
22:30
Speaker 1: than his own NBA mindset. He just did it. You
22:36
Speaker 1: just do it, right, And so you get to choose
22:40
Speaker 1: what you think, And so ask yourself, is this thought

Speaker 1: i'm thinking right now supporting my business? Is this thought

Speaker 1: based on somebody else's reality or me looking outward and
22:53
Speaker 1: trying to make truth out of my three D reality?

Speaker 1: Go within your heart? Go within your heart and choose

Speaker 1: to think thoughts that attract overflowing prosperity for your passion

Speaker 1: driven business. So you always have an idea you're good

Speaker 1: at selling. It doesn't matter what's going on in the economy.

Speaker 1: Your business gets to prosper Those are the thoughts that
23:20
Speaker 1: need to be running through your mind. If it's oh no,

Speaker 1: check that and believe me, I have my days where
23:28
Speaker 1: it's like oh no, and I'm like, no, yes, I

Speaker 1: don't have to think that. I can choose another thought

Speaker 1: right next, you got to feel the feelings. You've heard

Speaker 1: this a gazillion trillion times and it applies to business.

Speaker 1: You have to feel the feelings you would be feeling
23:44
Speaker 1: if you were experiencing overflowing prosperity in your business. It

Speaker 1: can be a little tricky, but you can reach for it.

Speaker 1: So is it uplifted? Is it happy? Is it peaceful?

Speaker 1: Is it energetic? Work through whatever lower feelings you're feeling.

Speaker 1: In No way am I telling you to bypass those feelings.

Speaker 1: Be with those feelings, Sit with those feelings, know where

Speaker 1: those feelings are coming from, and then let them pass

Speaker 1: through you. Let them pass through you, and then you

Speaker 1: find your way back into feeling good. Right. I have

Speaker 1: a podcast recorded that's going to go up around the

Speaker 1: time this one does. And I was talking about this

Speaker 1: like I was trying to uncover what this lower feeling

Speaker 1: was I was having. And I don't think I came

Speaker 1: to I'm still receiving insight as to what generated that feeling.

Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, I processed it

Speaker 1: to the best of my ability. I went to bed

Speaker 1: and I said, I woke up the next day I said, no,

Speaker 1: I don't need to feel this. If there's something here

Speaker 1: that I need to explore, God bring it forward, let

Speaker 1: me see it, and I'm going to choose to feel good.

Speaker 1: So I didn't bypass the feeling. I did spend some

Speaker 1: time with it. I journaled on it. Why am I

Speaker 1: feeling this way? What's going on? And I didn't come

Speaker 1: to any profound revelation. I just decided to feel differently.

Speaker 1: So you have to feel the feelings, and it can

Speaker 1: be difficult with a passion driven business because you don't

Speaker 1: always know where your next payment's going to come from,

Speaker 1: and you know, so you have to really find a

Speaker 1: way to keep yourself centered, to keep yourself grounded, and

Speaker 1: to feel like the person who's prospering. That becomes your

Speaker 1: sacred mission. You have a spiritual practice where you connect

Speaker 1: to the divine. You need a sacred practice for your

Speaker 1: business as well, where you connect to the soul of

Speaker 1: your business and you connect to the divine speaking to

Speaker 1: you about your business. And then, lastly, one more time,

Speaker 1: I don't know how many times I can say this

Speaker 1: in this twenty five minute show. Take action that leads

Speaker 1: to overflowing prosperity. You must take action. Action is a

Speaker 1: So when I moved to LA, I told I think

Speaker 1: I told you, I took a gig, right, I wanted,

Speaker 1: I really well. What it was was property managers are

Speaker 1: a little bit different in LA than they are in

Speaker 1: the Bay Area. In the Bay Area, it's a very

Speaker 1: entrepreneurial community, and so they don't necessarily need to see

Speaker 1: income every single month. They need to see that it

Speaker 1: meets the requirements. In the Bay Area. In LA, they

Speaker 1: want to see like, really really steady. So I took
28:04
Speaker 1: a gig so I could show this steadiness because I
28:08
Speaker 1: have these because I had big months and then smaller months,

Speaker 1: but it all evened out, and so I was like, Okay,
28:14
Speaker 1: let me take a gig that'll you know, of course,
28:17
Speaker 1: I want the money of two that will even it out.

Speaker 1: And it did. It did like it definitely. It alleviated
28:28
Speaker 1: some of some of the quote unquote financial pressure I
28:35
Speaker 1: would feel I would let myself feel. And so then

Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I'm done with a gig in

Speaker 1: and I actually found it a building I wanted to
28:46
Speaker 1: live in that catered to entrepreneurs, and so I was like, oh, well,

Speaker 1: y'all get it. I'm going to go back to work

Speaker 1: in my business. And I realized that that pressure that

Speaker 1: was alleviated by the gig work came back even when

Speaker 1: I was making money, like like, you know, I had
29:07
Speaker 1: probably you know, these first two weeks of July of
29:10
Speaker 1: some of the most prosperous in my business, and I

Speaker 1: still have that pressure feeling. I was like, Oh, this

Speaker 1: is a learned behavior, this is a practice routine, this

Speaker 1: is a default setting I've created for myself, and so

Speaker 1: I have to unset it. Right. So you think, oh,

Speaker 1: we I'll just go get a second job, or oh

Speaker 1: I'll go I have a client who works for a

Speaker 1: lot of other practitioners as well as running her own thing.

Speaker 1: There's no substitute for doing this work. You know, I

Speaker 1: still have to look very closely at what is the

Speaker 1: belief system, the thought process, that's creating this pressure feeling, right,

Speaker 1: there's no substitute for it. So if your goal is

Speaker 1: to be full time in business, make that your priority, right.

Speaker 1: You know, you can't you can't bypass it by, you know,

Speaker 1: getting a side hustle and then run the business. And

Speaker 1: if this happens this way, this way, No, it really

Speaker 1: comes to you through whatever business model you believe you're

Speaker 1: meant to be executing, right, Yeah, trust yourself. And if

Speaker 1: you have a vision, you need to create a foundation,

Speaker 1: a belief system, a thought system, a feeling system that

Speaker 1: matches that vision. That's the inner work I'm talking about.

Speaker 1: All right, So let's take another breath, Let's let this

Speaker 1: prescription sink in, and before I wrap, I'll say this

Speaker 1: to you. Get good support. You need support. So much

Speaker 1: of the understanding that I have about business I acquired

Speaker 1: as I went along, which that happens, but some of

Speaker 1: it could have been locked in and set in stone

Speaker 1: when I started if I had the support system. And yeah,

Speaker 1: get good support and be mindful of who you're around.

Speaker 1: When I was working full time, I had a mentor,

Speaker 1: I had a couple of different mentors, and when I

Speaker 1: started full time, I was also doing a couple of

Speaker 1: different things. I was still trying to prove to myself

Speaker 1: that this work was valid. So I was trying to

Speaker 1: get a PhD in trans personal psychology. It was in
31:47
Speaker 1: a PhD program for trans personal psychology. And I was

Speaker 1: chasing my ex husband and me. It wasn't a full

Speaker 1: on chase, but they're definitely we had hit the well.

Speaker 1: I wasn't chasing him per se in terms of relationship,

Speaker 1: I was chasing marriage, right. I mean I didn't see

Speaker 1: it at the time. His uncle, who's a psychologist, we

Speaker 1: were at some event and he's like, oh, you chase Matt,
32:14
Speaker 1: and he just said it so matter of factly. I

Speaker 1: was like wow. And so what I did was I

Speaker 1: kept moving closer to him, and in the process I
32:24
Speaker 1: left behind a lot of my support systems. I moved
32:28
Speaker 1: out of urban areas where there were more metaphysical bookstores,

Speaker 1: more New Thought, New Age churches, groups meetups, and I

Speaker 1: moved more and more and more into the deep suburbs

Speaker 1: of the East Bay in the Bay Area. And so

Speaker 1: in that process I started to isolate myself without knowing

Speaker 1: I was doing it and what I was surrounded by.

Speaker 1: I talked to my mom every day at that time

Speaker 1: in my life, and she had started a business. I've

Speaker 1: said this to you in the eighties and she was
33:09
Speaker 1: doing well, but my mom didn't have the mindset to
33:12
Speaker 1: support it. And she believed that getting a corporate job

Speaker 1: was better. And it was for her. She flourished, she
33:18
Speaker 1: grew her income increase. It was a wonderful time for
33:23
Speaker 1: her getting a corporate job. But she tells the story,

Speaker 1: or she used to, you know, when she was live.

Speaker 1: She told the story like, that's the only way you
33:33
Speaker 1: do it. That's the only way you do it. You
33:36
Speaker 1: get a corporate job, right, you don't try to run
33:38
Speaker 1: a business. But if in tracing the history back, her
33:42
Speaker 1: business was doing well, right, she just wanted a different
33:45
Speaker 1: lifestyle structure that was supported by a corporate business. It

Speaker 1: was a personal decision, not a truth. But I heard

Speaker 1: that every single day. It seemed like she turned up
33:55
Speaker 1: the volume on that fucking story when I started my business.

Speaker 1: At on top of that, I'm live in a house

Speaker 1: with a man who is Max. Husband was incra I
34:07
Speaker 1: don't know what he's doing now, but he was incredibly talented.

Speaker 1: I mean, just a brilliant, brilliant, brilliant hip hop producer

Speaker 1: and everybody knew it. If you listen to his stuff,

Speaker 1: you could hear the brilliance. But when it came to

Speaker 1: making money, if there was a door that said make

Speaker 1: money doing this work, that's the bread door. Don't make

Speaker 1: money doing this work, that's the blue door, he would
34:33
Speaker 1: choose the blue door over and over and over and
34:35
Speaker 1: over again. He just find himselves in these situations, big

Speaker 1: names on his work, would find a way that he
34:44
Speaker 1: wouldn't make money. Right, that's mindset and inner work, and

Speaker 1: that's all. Yeah, that was his stuff and yeah, right,

Speaker 1: so I'm surrounded by that got my mom in my
34:55
Speaker 1: ear every day. Again, I take full responsibility. I chose
34:58
Speaker 1: to pick up the phone. I chose to engage those conversations.

Speaker 1: And then add on top of that, my ex husband

Speaker 1: was very close to his family, and his dad has

Speaker 1: a story similar to my mom's where he had started

Speaker 1: a business in the eighties and he wound up getting

Speaker 1: a corporate job and he flourished and grew and it
35:18
Speaker 1: was right fit for him and it supported him in
35:20
Speaker 1: all these ways that he needed. Right, and so he
35:24
Speaker 1: was vocal about that. Right And because my mother in
35:31
Speaker 1: law at the time also went through that experience with him.

Speaker 1: She was very vocal about what it was like going
35:39
Speaker 1: through that. So I had these four energies that were

Speaker 1: incongruent to prospering in a passion based business. And you know,

Speaker 1: I held my own, you know, I still I held
35:56
Speaker 1: my own, but there was so much mindset work that

Speaker 1: didn't get locked in when it needed to at the
36:07
Speaker 1: start because I didn't have the right support. So I

Speaker 1: moved away from all my support systems. And then I'm
36:14
Speaker 1: surrounded by all these essentially naysayers, whether directly or indirectly.

Speaker 1: And then at that time in the internet space, you know,

Speaker 1: this is twenty twelve, the loudest voices talking about business

Speaker 1: were making millions online and making impact and that's all

Speaker 1: you heard, and you weren't really hearing anything about micro businesses, right,

Speaker 1: And so it became very like does this like work?

Speaker 1: And if I'm not making millions like you know, like

Speaker 1: I really just want to make this so that I

Speaker 1: can live this way, right, There wasn't any conversations about that,

Speaker 1: and so I had to piece together, piece by piece

Speaker 1: a mindset that supported me being able to prosper in

Speaker 1: my business. And so that's why I'm saying to you

Speaker 1: get the right support. Get the right support. If you're

Speaker 1: looking to transition out of maybe working full time and

Speaker 1: doing the business on the side, and you want the
37:29
Speaker 1: business to be full time, you've got to believe that

Speaker 1: you can generate more than enough money to replace or

Speaker 1: exceed your salary and benefits in your full time job.

Speaker 1: You have to believe that you cannot wait for proof.

Speaker 1: It doesn't work that way. But when it comes to business,

Speaker 1: we suddenly forget that that's the way energy works and

Speaker 1: we think, oh, well, this must mean something. No it doesn't.

Speaker 1: It just means you need to lock in a belief

Speaker 1: system that supports what you're trying to do. So one

Speaker 1: more time. It took me years to piece together on

Speaker 1: mindset and a way of thinking and feeling that supported

Speaker 1: all the action I was taking. Of course, I'm a

Speaker 1: type of a I take action no problem, but I

Speaker 1: realized the energy behind those actions was always not always

Speaker 1: for the highest and greatest good. So you need good
