- 0:15Speaker 1: Pushkin.
- 0:19Speaker 2: People's intuitions are that that can't be right and so
- 0:25Speaker 2: or that it can't be taken seriously. So, Malcolm, you've
- 0:27Speaker 2: got to get people who take it seriously.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I take it seriously. I don't think this is wacky
- 0:32Speaker 3: as at all.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I read this and I'm thinking this is dead serious.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm Malcolm Gladwell here to tell you about season three

- 0:47Speaker 4: School children being poisoned by one of the biggest symbols
- 0:53Speaker 4: of our modern food. And so that was really the
- 0:57Speaker 4: sort of the cherry on that rotten cake.
- 1:04Speaker 1: This season, I want to talk about mass delusion because
- 1:08Speaker 1: when you're deluded, you don't know you're deluded. You can't
- 1:11Speaker 1: be reminded or educated. You're oblivious.
- 1:15Speaker 5: And then the ranking minority member gets up and basically says,
- 1:18Speaker 5: take your lie in data and go home, because we
- 1:20Speaker 5: know what the truth is. We're being invaded and we've
- 1:22Speaker 5: got to stop this.
- 1:24Speaker 1: We'll meet the victims of mass hysteria and a hero
- 1:27Speaker 1: who says things right.
- 1:29Speaker 6: She is a mix of Joan of Arc, Madame Curie,
- 1:33Speaker 6: and Florence Nightingale.
- 1:36Speaker 1: But if you've listened to the first two seasons of
- 1:38Speaker 1: Revisionist History, you'll know that I can't stay serious for long.
- 1:43Speaker 3: One of the many weird things with that story is
- 1:45Speaker 3: the notion that you are an OSS officer in Munich
- 1:48Speaker 3: and you bring along a famous harmonica player.
- 1:53Speaker 5: What's strange about that?
- 1:55Speaker 6: It's kind of like a ride along, you know, like
- 1:58Speaker 6: Kevin Hart and ice Q.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Revisionist History Season three, join me for the ride along.
- 2:08Speaker 6: And you're like, You're like, don't you know this is
- 2:09Speaker 6: the safest time to get on an air community.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I can be really quite condescending. It turns out.
- 2:16Speaker 6: It's my favorite thing about you.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Revision is History, because sometimes the past deserves a second chance.
