- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Right good morning, six o'clock here on this Thursday morning
- 0:05Speaker 2: in Nashville. Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: The man who killed four University of Idaho's students back
- 0:11Speaker 3: in twenty twenty two has been sentenced. On the night
- 0:14Speaker 3: of November thirteenth, twenty twenty two, he murdered them in
- 0:17Speaker 3: their off campus home. The killer, who was a former
- 0:20Speaker 3: criminology student, was sentenced yesterday to four life sentences without
- 0:25Speaker 3: the chance of parole, plus an additional ten years for
- 0:27Speaker 3: burglary and a two hundred and seventy thousand dollars fine.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Obviously, good he pleaded guilty.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I'm glad that obviously all of these family members can
- 0:37Speaker 3: now have some bit of closure through.
- 0:39Speaker 5: All of this.
- 0:40Speaker 3: This has been a huge story since it happened in
- 0:42Speaker 3: twenty twenty two and has changed the way that a
- 0:45Speaker 3: lot of campuses and university students kind of deal with
- 0:50Speaker 3: being in off campus home housing. So I'm glad that
- 0:53Speaker 3: obviously the right thing was made right I guess, I'm like,
- 0:57Speaker 3: I don't even know the right words to go about this.
- 0:59Speaker 4: It was just such a horrific event.
- 1:01Speaker 6: Justice was served in this yes there we go.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Such a bad, horrific event.
- 1:06Speaker 3: If you have an iPhone, You're getting a bunch of
- 1:08Speaker 3: new emojis soon. The iOS twenty six update is going
- 1:11Speaker 3: to have nine new emojis. A trombone, a treasure chest,
- 1:14Speaker 3: a distorted face, a hairy creature that like kind of
- 1:18Speaker 3: looks like Bigfoot, a fight cloud, Apple core Orca, ballet dancer,
- 1:23Speaker 3: and a landslide. They made a rendering of all of
- 1:26Speaker 3: the new emojis, so I'll post them up on our
- 1:27Speaker 3: Instagram stories at one oh seventy five. The River, the Bigfoot.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Super hyped about it. I love Bigfoot.
- 1:34Speaker 6: You can stop typing out Bigfoot all the time.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Love Bigfoot.
- 1:37Speaker 4: So I'm very excited about this.
- 1:39Speaker 3: It probably won't come with the first iOS twenty six update.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It typically comes the second or third one within that realm,
- 1:45Speaker 3: so be on the lookout for it. It's coming soon
- 1:48Speaker 3: and this is really cool for Davidson County residents. Root
- 1:51Speaker 3: Nashville is giving out free trees until August thirty first,
- 1:55Speaker 3: so Root Nashville is a public private campaign between Metro
- 1:58Speaker 3: Nashville and the Cumberland River Compact to plant five hundred
- 2:02Speaker 3: thousand trees by twenty fifty in order to support clean
- 2:05Speaker 3: air and clean water throughout Davidson County for the residence.
- 2:09Speaker 4: If you live in Davidson.
- 2:10Speaker 3: County, you can get up to three large trees for free,
- 2:13Speaker 3: which will be delivered to you between October and March.
- 2:16Speaker 4: You have to just fill out a forum.
- 2:18Speaker 5: There's a link for it.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I will also post that at one O seven five
- 2:21Speaker 3: the River and the Instagram stories. Once you fill out
- 2:23Speaker 3: the form, there's a few more steps you got to
- 2:25Speaker 3: go through, but you can get a bunch of free troops.
- 2:26Speaker 4: This is really amazing.
- 2:28Speaker 3: So it helps you, helps your land, and then helps
- 2:30Speaker 3: the entire you know Davidson County as well.
- 2:33Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:34Speaker 5: need to know.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky, and thank you for starting
- 2:37Speaker 2: your day with us. We are having a party tonight
- 2:40Speaker 2: like a happy hour. We've been giving away drinks at
- 2:43Speaker 2: our party all week for the first caller. You can
- 2:45Speaker 2: get yourself your first drink on us.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Tonight, coming up in about ten minutes right here on
- 2:49Speaker 6: the River.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Good morning, it's one O seven five the River. We
- 2:57Speaker 3: got candy and Nashville on the line.
- 2:59Speaker 4: How you doing this morning, Candy? I'm I am so good.
- 3:03Speaker 7: We just have to get it out of the way
- 3:04Speaker 7: because it's just bursting from the seams.
- 3:06Speaker 8: Ah, what, Candy?
- 3:08Speaker 7: That all I could think about, Candy.
- 3:12Speaker 6: I'm sorry.
- 3:12Speaker 2: How many times in your life would you say people
- 3:15Speaker 2: have sung that to your face?
- 3:16Speaker 9: Oh? I can't even count.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I was really excited to talk to you, Candy,
- 3:21Speaker 3: and then Zach had.
- 3:22Speaker 4: To go and do that.
- 3:23Speaker 8: It was just coming from my soul. I could not stop.
- 3:26Speaker 3: He literally almost jumped out of his seat right there, Candy.
- 3:30Speaker 4: So you're on your way to work right now.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I am, Hey, what.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Are you doing tonight, Candy?
- 3:34Speaker 8: I'm going to Yeah, I like to hear.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Yeah, you're the first caller of the day.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So tonight at our happy Hour tavern Midtown, your first
- 3:44Speaker 2: drink is on us, and if Zach sings to you.
- 3:49Speaker 8: We'll bout you enough.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Drink. Trying to make it a little less grating, I
- 3:54Speaker 4: guess you could.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Say, all right, Candy, thank you so much for starting
- 3:58Speaker 2: your day with us.
- 3:59Speaker 6: We will you this evening. We can't wait.
- 4:01Speaker 7: All right, Hang on the line, Love, Kevin, act like
- 4:04Speaker 7: you did not want to sing the song.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I will tell you the truth. It was my very
- 4:08Speaker 2: first thought, and then I moved down. I was thinking,
- 4:11Speaker 2: right before you did that, what other songs have candy
- 4:13Speaker 2: in them?
- 4:13Speaker 8: And what's it like to have self restraint.
- 4:16Speaker 4: I don't know if we could say that about Kevin
- 4:19Speaker 4: only in this instance.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Tonight Tavernmintown, everybody is invited. We would love to see
- 4:25Speaker 2: you tonight at our happy hour one O seven five
- 4:28Speaker 2: Ricky Zach and Meno in the Morning.
- 4:30Speaker 3: There have been some rumors going around about Ricky Zach
- 4:33Speaker 3: and Mano in the morning about one O seven five
- 4:36Speaker 3: the River, and we kind of just want to set
- 4:37Speaker 3: the record straight on some of them.
- 4:39Speaker 6: TMZ man. They're all up in our grill here.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Honestly, that's what it feels like. That's a little dramatic,
- 4:43Speaker 3: but it really does feel like that. We get like
- 4:45Speaker 3: a few, you know, messages of things.
- 4:48Speaker 4: We want to talk about it.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Yeah, we do.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Let's play shibuzzi here and then we will set the
- 4:52Speaker 2: record straight. We're an open book and we'll share it all.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Will bear our souls, Oh drama, the real real.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Next one O seven five Ricky Zach and men Rumors
- 5:03Speaker 1: that we need to address.
- 5:05Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one
- 5:07Speaker 3: of seven five the River. We've gotten some dms and
- 5:10Speaker 3: messages personally and also on the River account on Instagram,
- 5:14Speaker 3: and we just kind of want to set the record street.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I've gotten a ton of them myself. Kevin Mano over here,
- 5:19Speaker 2: the Mano family recently relocated to San Diego. Yeah, we're
- 5:23Speaker 2: living in San Diego. It's some opportunities pop up that
- 5:25Speaker 2: we took us that way. And I am here in
- 5:28Speaker 2: Nashville at the moment, but iHeart has sort of like
- 5:30Speaker 2: renovated a studio out there for me so I can
- 5:32Speaker 2: still do this show from there, which is crazy hours
- 5:34Speaker 2: for you. But the last three days I've been there,
- 5:38Speaker 2: you guys have been here, Ricky and Zach have been
- 5:39Speaker 2: here in studio here.
- 5:40Speaker 6: And I think it sounds pretty flawless.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I think probably won't notice a difference. But Kevin's
- 5:46Speaker 3: going to be coming back and forth. Yeah, He'll still
- 5:48Speaker 3: be in Nashville every so often, and he'll mostly just
- 5:51Speaker 3: be in San Diego though, But he's not leaving the
- 5:53Speaker 3: show exactly. The number one question that we keep getting
- 5:56Speaker 3: is like, is he leaving? This is kind of what
- 5:58Speaker 3: comes with having a famous wife because all these news
- 6:01Speaker 3: stories about how exactly.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is not super uncommon in radio for
- 6:07Speaker 2: people to kind of be patched in doing this stuff together.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And like you said, I will be back here quite
- 6:12Speaker 2: off and kind of going back and forth. I'm here now,
- 6:13Speaker 2: we're gonna be at Midtown or Tavern tonight in Midtown
- 6:17Speaker 2: doing our happy hours.
- 6:18Speaker 6: I'll be back at.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Least once a month to do those, because that's a
- 6:20Speaker 2: brand new thing we had. Yeah, so I'll be back
- 6:22Speaker 2: and forth quite a bit. I didn't tell you guys
- 6:24Speaker 2: that when we moved. Literally day one we were there,
- 6:27Speaker 2: we were unloading a pod and my kids were excitedly
- 6:30Speaker 2: like trying to run, you know, like loads of things
- 6:33Speaker 2: into the house and so you could do it faster.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Kids are the best help.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Day one, Molly tripped and broke her arms. What Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 2: she fractured her wrist.
- 6:41Speaker 6: We are living by the beach.
- 6:43Speaker 2: We have a pool, brand new start for her boom.
- 6:47Speaker 6: She goes down.
- 6:51Speaker 8: Swimming or anything because she's in a cast.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Well we're supposed to. It's like a like a splint greater.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Cast right now, full cast.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And we do have Yeah, we have an appointment for
- 7:02Speaker 2: her to see what's next. It's either gonna be a
- 7:04Speaker 2: hard cast, there are waterproof castle. We don't know what
- 7:06Speaker 2: what's gonna happen next, but we're hoping for the best
- 7:08Speaker 2: for her.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Oh I know, I know.
- 7:11Speaker 4: That makes me so sad.
- 7:13Speaker 8: Kind of it kind of sucks.
- 7:14Speaker 7: But also the good news is for her, she can
- 7:16Speaker 7: like get out of anything, like, oh, I can't carry
- 7:18Speaker 7: the box my wrists.
- 7:19Speaker 8: Heart's like, she doesn't have to unpack it to move anything.
- 7:23Speaker 2: She's she's milking it without a die. Absolutely what she
- 7:26Speaker 2: wants ice cream, three meals a day, She's like, but
- 7:29Speaker 2: the arm so she's I'll keep you guys posted on
- 7:32Speaker 2: what's next.
- 7:33Speaker 6: How heartbreaking.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Also though gonna be a great story later on in life.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Yeah, of like, oh yeah, remember that time we were.
- 7:40Speaker 3: All so excited to move to San Diego and I
- 7:42Speaker 3: ruined everything.
- 7:44Speaker 6: She's nine.
- 7:45Speaker 2: This is the second time I've never broken a bone.
- 7:47Speaker 2: This is her second arm break. You need to get
- 7:49Speaker 2: her some calcium.
- 7:52Speaker 7: Maybe she's just a little bit more adventurous than you CAUs.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Solid points act.
- 7:58Speaker 8: It's just a little.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Baby, But there you go.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So that hopefully clears up some questions that anybody might
- 8:02Speaker 2: have had going back and.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Forth and all was well.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The show lives on Riggy Zagermannon in the morning. We
- 8:06Speaker 2: are committed, We love you, love each other.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Here we go three things you need to know.
- 8:11Speaker 2: All this a bit past seven on this Thursday morning.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Ricky Snchez is right here with those three things.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Chapelone's new single may be coming as early as next week,
- 8:20Speaker 3: and we have.
- 8:21Speaker 5: A clip to show you.
- 8:23Speaker 3: She's been teasing a new single for quite some time now,
- 8:25Speaker 3: with August first as a prevalent date. A lot of
- 8:28Speaker 3: different you know, billboards and flyers are popping up in
- 8:31Speaker 3: different cities with the date of August first.
- 8:35Speaker 4: She just released a.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Teaser for a song called Subway on her socials. She
- 8:39Speaker 3: said recently in an interview that for Subway, it's going
- 8:43Speaker 3: to feel different, and different doesn't always mean worse. You
- 8:46Speaker 3: just have to really take yourself out of it and
- 8:48Speaker 3: be like, this is different and that's okay. That's a
- 8:51Speaker 3: direct quote from Chapel So here's a clip of the song.
- 8:54Speaker 6: It's very exciting. Brandy flas.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Gone, I'm move into Saskatchewan.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Saskatchewan. Yeah, so she said it's going to be different.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Like she said so we're going to keep you updated
- 9:14Speaker 3: if she does actually announce that it's Foreshore coming August first,
- 9:18Speaker 3: or if it just comes out August first, gonna let
- 9:20Speaker 3: you know. The National Fire Department is gonna give away
- 9:23Speaker 3: school supplies this Friday.
- 9:25Speaker 4: This is really amazing. They're helping local kids who are
- 9:28Speaker 4: all heading back to school.
- 9:29Speaker 3: They're doing a backpack giveaway on Friday as part of
- 9:32Speaker 3: their Blaze mentoring program. So it's happening at the National
- 9:35Speaker 3: Fire Department. It's gonna be at their headquarters on Hermitage
- 9:38Speaker 3: Avenue from one.
- 9:39Speaker 4: To four pm.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Just a note, students do need to be present to
- 9:43Speaker 3: get the backpack, so bring your kids, go get some supplies.
- 9:47Speaker 5: We love that they're doing this.
- 9:49Speaker 3: There's so many new and inventive ways that people are
- 9:51Speaker 3: going about to make sure the kids have the supplies
- 9:53Speaker 3: that they need for school, which is so important. So
- 9:55Speaker 3: this Friday one to four, National Fire Department Headquarters on
- 9:58Speaker 3: Hermitage Avenue, and Uber is giving women more options with
- 10:03Speaker 3: their new Women Preferences features. This is something that they've
- 10:06Speaker 3: done in a few other areas a bunch of different
- 10:09Speaker 3: countries back in twenty nineteen started to get these features.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Now it's becoming available in the US right now. They're
- 10:14Speaker 3: rolling it out first in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit,
- 10:18Speaker 3: but eventually it should hit more US markets. But women
- 10:21Speaker 3: riders are going to be able to request women drivers.
- 10:24Speaker 3: They'll be able to pre book trips with women drivers
- 10:27Speaker 3: and set a preference for women drivers with women passengers shared.
- 10:33Speaker 3: If you're doing a shared ride, you could also request
- 10:35Speaker 3: that it's only with other women. It doesn't guarantee because
- 10:38Speaker 3: obviously there may not be as many women as there
- 10:41Speaker 3: are drivers for the riders, but it'll help push you
- 10:44Speaker 3: toward getting a specific women driver. This is all to
- 10:48Speaker 3: make it a safe, effective trip for everybody that they're
- 10:51Speaker 3: just comfortable with.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Like I said, they're eventually going to.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Roll this out in more US markets soon, So keep
- 10:57Speaker 3: an eye on it for your Uber app if you
- 10:59Speaker 3: like to take your rights AMERG.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 11:02Speaker 6: You like a chatty Uber driver or a quiet Uber
- 11:05Speaker 6: driver depends on the day.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yeah, if I'm traveling, I don't want to talk to
- 11:08Speaker 3: anybody because I'm typically tired, But like on a night out,
- 11:11Speaker 3: I'm like ready to go, I'll chat with you all night.
- 11:13Speaker 3: If you're intoxicated, not even Yeah, if I'm intoxicated, for sure,
- 11:18Speaker 3: it's a new best friend.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Right after Gracie abrams that guy. Right there, Zach has
- 11:22Speaker 6: a fact. We're gonna learn together. Zach' spax next to
- 11:25Speaker 6: other rivers one O seven five the River.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 11:29Speaker 2: All right, gather round, it's time to learn it. Zach's
- 11:32Speaker 2: facts on one oh seven five of the River.
- 11:34Speaker 8: Do you guys know how the name bingo got its
- 11:36Speaker 8: name b I n g O bingo.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:41Speaker 7: So Apparently in the nineteen twenties they used to call
- 11:43Speaker 7: it bino because they would put like dried beans on
- 11:46Speaker 7: the squares that they were getting, and someone got so
- 11:48Speaker 7: excited that they won Bino that they sit up and
- 11:50Speaker 7: screamed bingo, and it literally changed the name of the
- 11:54Speaker 7: game to bingo for the rest of forever.
- 11:56Speaker 6: Because somebody misspoke.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Yeah, because they got so excited, because it's like an
- 12:00Speaker 7: expression of excitement is saying like, oh, bingo when you win.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 8: Yeah, So he got up and said bingo, Now that's
- 12:06Speaker 8: the name of the game.
- 12:07Speaker 6: Well, do you think it was an expression before this
- 12:09Speaker 6: person said it?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:10Speaker 7: Like it was always an expression of excitement, and then
- 12:13Speaker 7: so he got so excited and they changed the.
- 12:15Speaker 8: Name of the game. Kevin, that's your fact of the day, Kevin, Exactly.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I kind of missed being Bino back.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Bring Bino backs, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Anone wants to know if she's the jerk in this situation,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and we want to hear from you. When you're trying
- 12:33Speaker 3: to merge onto sixty five south from four forty and
- 12:36Speaker 3: it backs up, so.
- 12:37Speaker 4: There's just a long, long, long, long, long line.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Is it a jerk move to move up in the line,
- 12:44Speaker 3: creep up in the line, wait till something opens and
- 12:47Speaker 3: slide in there so you're closer to the exit, or do.
- 12:50Speaker 2: You get in the line where it starts, like back
- 12:52Speaker 2: way back where it starts to back up?
- 12:54Speaker 3: You kind of we mixed in this room. Don't say
- 12:57Speaker 3: what you think, guys, just yet. I want to hear
- 12:59Speaker 3: what other people have to say.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Okay, six, one, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Your stance on cutting the.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Line really sort of in the traffick the line when
- 13:09Speaker 6: it backs up, is that does that a jerk move? Well,
- 13:11Speaker 6: let us know what you think.
- 13:12Speaker 1: One seven five the River Ricky, Zach and Menno in
- 13:15Speaker 1: the morning.
- 13:15Speaker 4: My friend wants to know if she's the jerk in
- 13:18Speaker 4: this situation.
- 13:19Speaker 3: When you're trying to merge onto sixty five style from
- 13:22Speaker 3: four to forty and it backs all the way up,
- 13:24Speaker 3: is it a jerk move to move up in the
- 13:27Speaker 3: line towards the exit and wait for an opening to
- 13:30Speaker 3: kind of slide in there?
- 13:31Speaker 4: Chatta Murphysboro, what do you think?
- 13:33Speaker 1: It just depends.
- 13:34Speaker 7: I do this just about every weekday.
- 13:37Speaker 10: I travel from West End the four forty six five,
- 13:41Speaker 10: and it just depends.
- 13:42Speaker 6: On what your day's like.
- 13:43Speaker 10: If you want to get home earlier, be a jerk
- 13:45Speaker 10: to move in, If you want to be a nice guy,
- 13:47Speaker 10: maybe go back a mile.
- 13:49Speaker 7: It just depends on what the day looks like.
- 13:51Speaker 1: For me.
- 13:52Speaker 10: I'll move up and be like, oh, I'm sorry, I
- 13:55Speaker 10: forgot that this was the exit and move in.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I kind of agree with you. If I'm not in
- 13:59Speaker 2: a hurry, I will wait patiently in line. But more
- 14:02Speaker 2: times than not, I always feel like I'm in a hurry,
- 14:04Speaker 2: and I do. I'm not proud of it, but I
- 14:07Speaker 2: admit I will wait for the opening and cut in.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Yeah, But as long as you wave whoever, it's okay.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It's a Tennessee way.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I love how Chad had said that he does this
- 14:17Speaker 3: every week that he still will be like, oh sorry,
- 14:21Speaker 3: miss the exit, like almost gotta.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Get in there.
- 14:25Speaker 4: That's my people know I've got Tennessee tags.
- 14:29Speaker 1: They know I'm a local, so they're probably.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Like, all right, Jeed, thank you man. I appreciate the honesty.
- 14:37Speaker 2: A great day to Lena in spring Hill. What do
- 14:39Speaker 2: you think is that a jerk move?
- 14:41Speaker 10: Nope, it's not a jerk move. That's what the lane's
- 14:43Speaker 10: there for. I do it all the time. You could
- 14:46Speaker 10: be a sheep and get behind that long old line,
- 14:49Speaker 10: or you could just drive all the way up immersion.
- 14:52Speaker 10: That's what Lene is for.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Selina, have you ever been like yelled at for cutting
- 14:56Speaker 3: the line or you know, like flip the bird.
- 14:59Speaker 10: I'm pretty sure I have, But they're stuck way back
- 15:02Speaker 10: there when I'm almost halfway out of that line.
- 15:04Speaker 6: I like, if there are people sitting in that line
- 15:06Speaker 6: right now and you just call them sheep.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Well, they just need a mrdage over they see all
- 15:12Speaker 10: of us flying right by.
- 15:13Speaker 3: But then they would create chaos if everybody was doing
- 15:16Speaker 3: it like there's gotta be.
- 15:18Speaker 10: That is why we got some of those people that
- 15:19Speaker 10: sit back right.
- 15:20Speaker 3: This is what I was gonna say, is that there's
- 15:22Speaker 3: got to be people who stay in the line, and
- 15:24Speaker 3: there's got to be people who cut the line.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Otherwise it's absolute chaos.
- 15:28Speaker 3: So the people who stay in the line, Selena may
- 15:31Speaker 3: call you sheep, but you're just really nice people.
- 15:35Speaker 10: Yes, also really nice people. But we got that new
- 15:38Speaker 10: June Lake exit and it's just a mess right there,
- 15:41Speaker 10: and if you pass it, you're like three, You're welcome.
- 15:48Speaker 10: You guys, have a good morning, you too.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I mean, if you do sneak up, you're gonna find
- 15:53Speaker 2: an opening. There's gonna be a room for always.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Sometimes people are literally sitting there with the blinker on,
- 15:58Speaker 3: and then they're causing more traffic because they're trying to
- 16:00Speaker 3: cut the line because they couldn't wait in the line.
- 16:03Speaker 2: If you're a bad driver, don't even try to sneakin
- 16:06Speaker 2: thing you. I'm a great I'm a great like I'm
- 16:09Speaker 2: I feel like Jason Bourne when I drive.
- 16:11Speaker 6: I am that's terrific.
- 16:13Speaker 8: You're a terrifying driver.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Kevin Zach, You're not all that much better.
- 16:17Speaker 6: I'm a little bit better.
- 16:18Speaker 8: Than Kevin.
- 16:19Speaker 4: I feel.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Reacky Zach and Meno in the morning, Ricky, Zach and
- 16:24Speaker 1: Mano in the morning.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I'm one of seven five the River having a debate
- 16:27Speaker 2: about traffic etiquette this morning.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Jennifer and Nolansville tell us, is it a jerk move
- 16:32Speaker 3: to cut that line of traffic?
- 16:34Speaker 9: I have been doing it for at least fifteen years.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 16:39Speaker 9: I get off work off of Western at three thirty
- 16:43Speaker 9: and I have to be at my next spot by
- 16:44Speaker 9: four thirty. If I don't cut, I don't make it.
- 16:48Speaker 11: Oh.
- 16:49Speaker 9: I have gotten people that have been violently like rageful,
- 16:53Speaker 9: mad at me, let me the bird called me every
- 16:56Speaker 9: name in the book, and.
- 16:58Speaker 11: I have to do it.
- 16:59Speaker 3: See, okay, Jennifer, I understand that you got to get
- 17:01Speaker 3: to the next place like quick and fast. But I
- 17:04Speaker 3: also understand being really mad at someone kind of cutting
- 17:07Speaker 3: in the line because you've been waiting for so long
- 17:09Speaker 3: and you're like, why do you get to go ahead
- 17:12Speaker 3: of me?
- 17:12Speaker 4: I could see that frustration.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I think, honestly, what this comes down to is we
- 17:16Speaker 3: just need better infrastructure.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Well that's not happening, so the deal with the cutting.
- 17:23Speaker 4: He really needs.
- 17:25Speaker 3: What we really need is better infrastructure. Because all of
- 17:28Speaker 3: these lanes.
- 17:29Speaker 6: And line cars.
- 17:30Speaker 4: That would also be another option.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Kevin, I'm not opposed to that.
- 17:33Speaker 9: The last lady that flipped me off literally like pointed
- 17:37Speaker 9: straight in my face and then point it to the
- 17:40Speaker 9: back of the line, and I was just like acting
- 17:42Speaker 9: like I'm sorry. I mean I have to I mean
- 17:45Speaker 9: I had to get to my next class.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Does that does that stick with you? Does that like
- 17:49Speaker 6: hurt your soul a little bit to get you know,
- 17:50Speaker 6: people that angry at you? Or do you just not care?
- 17:53Speaker 9: I don't care at all?
- 17:54Speaker 6: Okay, got thick skin. You can go one of two ways.
- 17:58Speaker 6: There's different types of people out there. But she doesn't care.
- 18:00Speaker 6: All right. Thank you for calling and sharing being honest
- 18:03Speaker 6: with us, all right.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I get angry at other drivers sometimes, but I never
- 18:11Speaker 2: expressed that because you never know who's crazy.
- 18:13Speaker 4: I use that horn on my car, like you don't.
- 18:16Speaker 4: You wouldn't believe it really all the time. That's why
- 18:19Speaker 4: it's there.
- 18:20Speaker 3: It's there to be like, hello, I am right here.
- 18:23Speaker 3: You need to know what you just did, and I
- 18:25Speaker 3: need to make you embarrassed about what you just did.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Otherwise you're just gonna keep doing it.
- 18:28Speaker 6: You're gonna find something you're gonna be in a road
- 18:30Speaker 6: rage situation.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Ricky, I welcome it. I'm ready.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Lord, you want these Disney on Ice passes. Disney on
- 18:37Speaker 2: Ice is coming to Bridgestone. We've got them with the
- 18:39Speaker 2: Game of the Day here in a couple of minutes.

- 18:55Speaker 4: Those tickets are up for grabs. I can't believe I
- 18:58Speaker 4: keep having to say Disney Quizzy.
- 19:00Speaker 6: I think it's a clever name. Kayla and Nashville, Good

- 19:05Speaker 4: We're good.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Yeah, we're having a great day over here. What are
- 19:08Speaker 6: you up to here right now?

- 19:10Speaker 11: I have been calling every day trying to get on this.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Oh yay, Well, we're glad you got through too.
- 19:17Speaker 6: Are you a Disney fan?
- 19:18Speaker 9: Oh yeah, huge, Disney.
- 19:20Speaker 6: This should be no problem at all for you. I'm
- 19:23Speaker 6: gonna give you some quotes from movies.
- 19:25Speaker 2: If you can identify the movies two out of three
- 19:27Speaker 2: of these, you're on your way to Disney on Ice.
- 19:29Speaker 6: Okay, okay, all right, Kayla. Your Disney Quisney starts right now.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Quote number one. I know I'm not supposed to love music,
- 19:39Speaker 6: but it's not my fault.
- 19:42Speaker 2: That's from.
- 19:44Speaker 11: It's about where he goes to the land of the
- 19:46Speaker 11: dead and reunites with his great Yeah.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Oh, I know it's on the tip of your tongue.
- 19:52Speaker 10: Coco, y you found it.
- 19:55Speaker 6: You did a nice job.
- 19:56Speaker 5: I was trying to think.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I was like, it was also like a drink.
- 19:58Speaker 10: Coco has a dream.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Yeah, you're on the board, so you need one more
- 20:02Speaker 6: to win.
- 20:03Speaker 7: Here.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I've been looking out of a window for eighteen years
- 20:06Speaker 2: dreaming about what it might feel like when those lights
- 20:08Speaker 2: rise in the sky.
- 20:11Speaker 11: That's Tangled.
- 20:13Speaker 6: One you need right away. Nice job.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that movie.
- 20:16Speaker 11: That's my second favorite Disney movie.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Well, what's your first, Beauty the Beast?
- 20:21Speaker 4: Okay, a classic. It all worked out for you, Kayla.
- 20:24Speaker 3: You're getting tickets to Disney on Ice presents Frozen in Aconto.
- 20:27Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, my my husband didn't think I would
- 20:30Speaker 10: be able to get this, and I'm so happy because
- 20:33Speaker 10: I get to take my one year old son JD.
- 20:35Speaker 11: And I called you all yesterday.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Oh yes, James Dean, Yes, yeah, so I'm super excited
- 20:41Speaker 3: to take him.
- 20:42Speaker 11: This will be first.
- 20:43Speaker 4: That's amazing. Also, rubbing in your husband's face.
- 20:46Speaker 10: Now, oh yeah, oh, I definitely will.
- 20:49Speaker 2: All right, go make some memories with JD. Congratulations and
- 20:52Speaker 2: thank you for calling, Kayla, Thank you.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Three things.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Here we go, Here we go.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Just after eight o'clock on this Thursday morning, Ricky Sanchez
- 20:59Speaker 2: has those three things.
- 21:01Speaker 3: A heat dome is set to affect most of the country,
- 21:04Speaker 3: including Tennessee, this weekend. Tens of millions of Americans are
- 21:07Speaker 3: under what forecasters call a ring of fire.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I know, frightening. It's very frightening.
- 21:12Speaker 3: So the heat dome is settling over Chicago to New
- 21:15Speaker 3: Orleans today, the Great Lakes region. We'll see areas that
- 21:18Speaker 3: have heat indecks in the mid nineties. It's gonna just
- 21:21Speaker 3: affect so many people. It's gonna shift more to the east.
- 21:24Speaker 3: On Friday, the heat dome will affect nearly two hundred
- 21:27Speaker 3: million people. There's going to be heat indecks between one
- 21:30Speaker 3: ten and one fifteen. That includes Tennessee. So please be
- 21:34Speaker 3: safe this weekend. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Stay in the shade.
- 21:37Speaker 3: If you can help anybody else who may need water,
- 21:40Speaker 3: make sure that you know the elderly and young kids
- 21:43Speaker 3: are being taken care of. Make sure that your pets
- 21:46Speaker 3: touching those asphalt like you gotta make sure that their
- 21:49Speaker 3: little paws don't get burnt because it's so hot, So
- 21:53Speaker 3: just stay safe. This weekend, Madame Tussau made history. They
- 21:56Speaker 3: unveiled thirteen new Tailor Swift wax figures. Each one represents
- 22:01Speaker 3: her albums and the erastour stage costumes.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Five of these are in the United States.
- 22:06Speaker 3: New York has Midnights, Los Angeles has Speak Now, Las
- 22:09Speaker 3: Vegas Fearless Orlando reputation. Nashville has Nashville, which just makes
- 22:15Speaker 3: sense obviously. The other eight are located all over Europe,
- 22:19Speaker 3: Asia and Australia.
- 22:21Speaker 4: So you'd have to travel to go to those.
- 22:22Speaker 3: An executive at Madame Tusso said, quote, this is the
- 22:26Speaker 3: most ambitious project in our two hundred and fifty year history,
- 22:30Speaker 3: which only feels right to reflect the stratospheric status of
- 22:34Speaker 3: Taylor Swift.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I'm just I'm kind of more blown away that Madame
- 22:37Speaker 2: Twoson's is even still around, still doing.
- 22:39Speaker 3: This same same I also did read that Taylor didn't
- 22:43Speaker 3: sit down for measurements, so they may not look that
- 22:45Speaker 3: creat just guess, So just.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Gonna go ahead and throw that out there.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Chips Ahoy is launching new Stranger Things cookies. This is
- 22:55Speaker 3: the first time that they're doing fruit filled Okay, so
- 22:58Speaker 3: this is kind of a big deal. It's all inspired
- 22:59Speaker 3: by Ranger Things fudge chipped studded chocolate cookies. They have
- 23:04Speaker 3: a bold red strawberry center. They're wrapped in a glow
- 23:07Speaker 3: in the Dark eighties theme packaging, which totally makes sense.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Like I said, first time that they're gonna have fruit
- 23:12Speaker 3: filled anything, so there's gonna be fruity centers, I guess
- 23:16Speaker 3: to these cookies.
- 23:17Speaker 4: They're said to hit shelves nationwide August eleventh.
- 23:20Speaker 3: There's gonna be a two pack snack size just in
- 23:22Speaker 3: time for Halloween so you can hand them out in
- 23:23Speaker 3: your little you know, goodie bags and for trigger treaters.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Hamricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 23:28Speaker 5: to know.
- 23:29Speaker 1: One O seven five the River, Raichi Zach and men
- 23:32Speaker 1: in the River.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Good morning friends. What's the most creative way you ever
- 23:37Speaker 2: got a job?
- 23:38Speaker 3: That's our question right now, because people are putting their
- 23:40Speaker 3: resumes on TikTok to try to get jobs, and I
- 23:42Speaker 3: think that's pretty creative.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Very it's a good way to use social media.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and showing creativity like that is going to give
- 23:48Speaker 2: you a leg up on the competition.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So if you've ever thought outside of the box when
- 23:53Speaker 2: job hunting, however you landed a job, we want to
- 23:55Speaker 2: hear your story. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 23:58Speaker 2: one oh seven.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Maybe it was a bit on TikTok maybe, but obviously
- 24:02Speaker 3: TikTok hasn't been around forever, so true.
- 24:04Speaker 10: You know, let us know.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Maybe you showed up at the boss's house. We want
- 24:07Speaker 6: to hear.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 24:12Speaker 3: People are putting their resumes on TikTok right now to
- 24:15Speaker 3: get jobs, which I think is a pretty creative idea.
- 24:18Speaker 8: It's pretty brilliant.
- 24:19Speaker 4: It's one of seven five the river.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Obviously, TikTok hasn't been around forever, and there are lots
- 24:24Speaker 3: of creative people out there. So what's the most creative
- 24:26Speaker 3: way You've got a job? Mike in Goodletsville, Hey, how's.
- 24:29Speaker 4: It going good?
- 24:31Speaker 11: How are you excellent? So I applied for a job
- 24:34Speaker 11: that I definitely was not one hundred percent qualified for
- 24:37Speaker 11: and that job was producing commercials. So I figured what
- 24:41Speaker 11: better way to prove my skills than to make a
- 24:43Speaker 11: commercial selling myself, And then that's how I got my job.
- 24:47Speaker 6: That's so smart.
- 24:48Speaker 11: I didn't want to just be another resume on somebody's
- 24:51Speaker 11: desk of like, you know, here's somebody that on paper
- 24:53Speaker 11: doesn't really have the best experience. But I said, hey,
- 24:56Speaker 11: I want this job so badly that I'm going to
- 24:58Speaker 11: show you how badly I want it.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I think that's beautiful and it clearly works.
- 25:01Speaker 7: Yeah, if I was a hiring manager, I would immediately
- 25:03Speaker 7: throw away all of the paper resumes and be like,
- 25:06Speaker 7: you are hired. Like the amount of dedication and time
- 25:08Speaker 7: that you put into just even like basically auditioning for
- 25:12Speaker 7: this job is crazy.
- 25:13Speaker 11: That's why I like to picture actually happened.
- 25:15Speaker 1: In my mind.
- 25:16Speaker 11: They threw out all of the resumes and just looked.
- 25:19Speaker 6: At my mike.
- 25:20Speaker 2: We work in radio, so my mind automatically goes to
- 25:22Speaker 2: an audio commercial. But was this video or audio?
- 25:25Speaker 11: It was a video.
- 25:26Speaker 4: How long did it take you to make the commercial?
- 25:29Speaker 1: Uh?
- 25:29Speaker 11: My friend and I did it in probably forty hours
- 25:31Speaker 11: from start to finish. Okay, we just spent like forty
- 25:34Speaker 11: eight hours straight making this commercial.
- 25:35Speaker 7: Basically, also, you have really good friends, because if you
- 25:38Speaker 7: asked me to do that, be like, I can supply
- 25:39Speaker 7: pizza and beer, Like, what else do.
- 25:41Speaker 6: You want from me?
- 25:42Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm very happy to have to have my friend
- 25:44Speaker 11: who helped me.
- 25:45Speaker 6: Mike, can you recap what you said how you sold
- 25:47Speaker 6: yourself in this commercial? How would you sell yourself?
- 25:50Speaker 11: I basically said, I am a really good personality hire
- 25:53Speaker 11: and it doesn't matter if my skills are not there,
- 25:56Speaker 11: so you should hire me.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Hey, it works for Zach Zach's personality one.
- 26:03Speaker 11: I'm glad we have that in comment.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Thanks so much, Mike. We appreciate you calling in today
- 26:08Speaker 4: and we hope you have a great day.
- 26:09Speaker 11: Thanks you too.
- 26:10Speaker 6: See that that like is so creative.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I feel like, you know, younger people always ask us
- 26:14Speaker 2: like how do I get into radio?
- 26:16Speaker 6: Or like this is the type of stuff you have
- 26:17Speaker 6: to do. You have to think outside the box and.
- 26:18Speaker 10: Just go for it.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Absolutely, Also, don't get into readio.
- 26:22Speaker 7: Yeah, every time anyone asked me that question, I'm like, hey,
- 26:27Speaker 7: just don't do it run.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Which I will also say everybody.
- 26:30Speaker 3: When I was an intern was like, run, don't do it,
- 26:33Speaker 3: and here we are. But I really loved it, and
- 26:35Speaker 3: here I am. So if you really do love it,
- 26:36Speaker 3: we're really just messing around.
- 26:38Speaker 10: Go for it.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Whatever it is that you feel passionate about, unless it's Radio.
- 26:42Speaker 1: One, Rickie, Zach and Men in the Morning.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Seven five the River. Hi, who's this?
- 26:48Speaker 11: This is Michael Baylor. I'm just calling in to tell
- 26:51Speaker 11: Ricky happy late birthday since I didn't get to get
- 26:54Speaker 11: into the audio yesterday.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Oh, Mike, thank you so much.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I really appreciate that.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I hope you had a good day. I did.
- 27:01Speaker 4: That's really sweet of you that you called again today.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 27:05Speaker 11: Awesome, You're welcome you.
- 27:06Speaker 10: I'll have a great day.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Hold on, before you go, let me just tell you
- 27:09Speaker 2: if you're free tonight, we're having a little party.
- 27:11Speaker 6: It's not necessarily.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Ricky's birthday party, but my birthday party.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Do you think I'm probably gonna end up on a
- 27:18Speaker 2: table singing tour at some point? So if you want
- 27:20Speaker 2: to come, you want to come to our happy hour tonight.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It's Tavern Midtown. We're gonna be there from five to seven.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Yeah, they have like half priced advertisers.
- 27:29Speaker 3: We also have drinks that are named after each of us,
- 27:31Speaker 3: which is really fun.
- 27:32Speaker 5: So if you're available, stop by.
- 27:35Speaker 11: Okay, awesome, I hope to see y' all there.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Okay, have a great deal.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Nobody y'all say it was so sweet and everybody else.
- 27:42Speaker 2: If you miss those details, you can find all the
- 27:44Speaker 2: information for our happy hour tonight on our Instagram at
- 27:48Speaker 2: one oh seven five The River.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Bring Ricky a present.
- 27:51Speaker 4: You don't have to bring me a present, just your present, Ricky.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Zach and I want you to imagine, as for Stalley
- 28:01Speaker 2: double Tap on one of seventy five The River, You're
- 28:03Speaker 2: a child waking up from anesthesia.
- 28:06Speaker 3: It's a mini horse that's supposed to be like a
- 28:09Speaker 3: therapy horse for the kids in the hospital, but he
- 28:12Speaker 3: has a very special.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Way of waking kids up from anesthesia that we just
- 28:16Speaker 4: feel is traumatizing. Yeah, here's what it sounds like.
- 28:30Speaker 7: It is a mini horse using its mouth, going back
- 28:34Speaker 7: and forth on a piano, just playing the piano with
- 28:36Speaker 7: its mouth. And I'm just like picturing if I woke
- 28:39Speaker 7: up from like having my teeth removed, or like my wisdom.
- 28:42Speaker 7: You're high and you're on drugs, and you wake up
- 28:45Speaker 7: and you see a mini horse playing a piano with
- 28:47Speaker 7: its mouth. I would be traumatized.
- 28:49Speaker 6: How could you not be?
- 28:51Speaker 8: I would be like, what planet am I actually on?
- 28:54Speaker 3: And as a kid, you don't understand that you're tripping
- 28:56Speaker 3: out right, You don't get that you don't know that

- 29:06Speaker 7: help them come out.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Or are they trying to mess these kids?
- 29:10Speaker 1: No?
- 29:10Speaker 7: I feel like there's no ill intent, but it is

- 29:21Speaker 2: there at one O seven five the River on Instagram.
- 29:24Speaker 2: I'll just I'll never understand it. I don't know who's
- 29:26Speaker 2: who made this decision, but it's awful.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I wonder I guess you could opt out right, like
- 29:32Speaker 4: you could be like, no, I don't want to.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Do that to my kids.
- 29:34Speaker 2: As awful as it is, I would one hundred percent
- 29:36Speaker 2: opt in. I need to see the serial
- 29:39Speaker 1: Life Ricky Zach and Menno in the morning,
