20-Year-Old Accused of Rape in Bahamas | Bahamas News
A 20-year-old man, Kyle Edgecombe, faces serious rape charges after allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old girl in New Providence on June 23rd. He was brought before the acting chief magistrate yesterday, skipped entering a plea on the rape charge, and is now being held at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until October 8th, when his case will be formally served in the Supreme Court via a voluntary bill of indictment. Prosecutors led by Inspector Deon Barr are pushing forward, while defense attorney Alphonso Lewis represents Edgecombe as the legal process continues to unfold. Listen…
