- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: Tuesday afternoon here we're all going through it's all right we're all going through it we've been talking about this all year and talking about beef prices yeah and things that are way way over my head personally so I thought I'd call in our good friend senior analysis for Fox business Charlie gas burino Charlie how are you today buddy?
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say that this is the only show that I know that covers everything, everything from jirbling to the end.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, you got to go, you're you're you're eclectic.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Did you listen to the Richard gear jirbling episode?
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: Because I do, I do want the jirbles body.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: I want the jirbles body on sets right behind me.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think that'd be the greatest piece of memorabilia one could ever have in this life.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a friend of mine, it was a cop, right?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: And he used to do private stuff on the side.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: And he told me, he did Richard Gearshouse.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: And he told me that none of that is true.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Just just...
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: He said he's like the nicest guy, he's like, you know, it was all bullshit, you know?
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Well, maybe he's a gear head dude, you know, there's a lot of gear heads out there that are huge fans and refuse to confront the truth.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: Now, me, I have to believe this because this is the crazy story I've ever heard.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: And for it to stick so long, like even out in Hollywood, that story stuck for like 30 years.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: I know, it's like the Rod Stewart thing, but you know, stuff like that does happen.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I could tell you, I have a lot of friends who are cops in the Bronx and in the hands of Jared a day, friend of mine was in the South Bronx once, and he saw a guy entailed on a plunger.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: because, and then they figured out what he was doing, he was like pulling himself up and down, and they lost, like, control or he slipped, and he held himself, and they pulled his body out of the apartment.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: You got to have a spotter in this life, Charlie.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: I've said this time and time again, if you don't have a spotter, you're not living your life correctly, so that's on him.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think if he would add a spotter there, he could have tapped out, you know, and just said, hey, come on in here, get me off of this.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to die.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: And instead, you know, he's dead.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, and then you got to explain that to your family and friends at the funeral.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, it was that I told you I have to hurt the jury.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the episodes here are great because like, they'll go with your partner.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: The editing you'll go from constitutional law, the massive dire air, and it's kind of like, it's almost seamless.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I like about it.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: just naturally, like usually reporters, writers like me, we look for transitions, like how do we get from diarrhea to a constitutional, like the federal papers, because I know you're part of talks about that a lot, stuff like that.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it doesn't work, it's like it's seamless.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, it's a secret source you guys have.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a segue Sally.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm able to get it through the next topic to the next no matter what it is.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I got to ask about it because it's on screen here.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Are you moving in the background?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: Looks like there's moving boxes back there.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: Are you heading out of Mom Donnie's New York?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing there?
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's been a transition.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was bored in the Bronx, you know, I grew up in Westchester County and my dad was an iron worker.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: So leave the New York is not easy for me.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: And the last place I ever think I beat was South Carolina, but I love it here.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the free state of South Carolina.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: People are nice.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: I could deal with hot weather, you know, I just got up early and went running.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just, it's nice here.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, the taxes are low, the people are nice.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I see commercials and what I love about the commercials here, the political commercials is that people profess a belief in the good Lord.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, that's what they lead with Charlie.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they lead with.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: like that.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: I like I can't as a as a sort of a cynical New Yorker.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: I still like that.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm here.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, I got a gator in my backyard because I got a convict.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, can you get your first gator?
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Proud you.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: Proud you.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're in North Carolina now.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing, where it's beautiful.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: The people are nice.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: California's were taking over Texas.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I became one of the the last people there that wasn't from California at some points.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I get it and the property taxes were crazy and hard to have exploded and all that other stuff, right?
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: But let's talk about that today because that is a big part of people's lives.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I really want to get into this financial affordability crisis that we're going through right now.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start with the basics.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of socialists are winning across the country.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're seeing this, you know, not just in New York, it happened in Wisconsin by a hair.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, she still got the into the final primary for the Democrats.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: You got Said up in Michigan who gave a wild ass interview last night with Jesse Waters.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: Boy, did you watch that?
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're on Fox.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, was that mandatory watching?
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: See Jen, Jen, you weren't watching, but Jessie is a friend of mine, but I am just saying I usually go to bed around nine o'clock these days, so just my life is boring, but you know, I saw this story and I was like, I mean, if there's one guy, you shouldn't be asking that question because he'll go out a lot of different directions, it's Jessie, yeah, oh yeah.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: that we've been on a show maybe four or five times he's always stunned by by us and I think it got to the point where it's like this is too wild for me you guys can't come back here anymore which is hilarious but it was an interesting interview I find it's hilarious that's the left in the mainstream media won't interview this guy I mean that's
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: Jesse Waters was the guy that got to first interview with him essentially because the Democrats are trying to separate themselves from the socialist.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's so nuts.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's more than even socialism.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: This guy is like engages in third world, you know, stuff that borders.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he can't paint with a songpiker.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you listen to, I mean, you know, I couldn't believe some of the stuff that the sonpiker said.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I get like people go on these podcasts and you know, you guys actually don't go there, you know, you're not that crazy.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're you're interested, you're not totally, you know, sort of insane.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these, some of these people stretch so much and I get that, but that's some piker sits on.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: wildest shit and this I can't paint with him I mean you know just yeah I don't know how you square that circle but you know that's not my my job and he's uh and you know that's the I think the problem that the Democrats have they should sweep by the way in the midterms they should kill the Republicans the only thing that's kind of not making them sweep because of the affordability crisis and anything you want to talk about it's a lot of issues here
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: But because they're still nuts, I don't know.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think the Republicans keep the Senate and knows what happens with House.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not sure about the House, but I can tell you this.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: The socialism thing to me has caught on because of affordability.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Dan and I have talked about this on the show for, you know, the past few weeks here of
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Your message can't be as a Republican.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, we have no, we're not going to fix this.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: Look at how crazy they are.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think the rise of this socialism is because affordability and every single sector is going through the roof and people are like, fuck it.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: Young people in particular are like, fuck it.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: I won't own a house maybe ever in my life.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm doomed to an apartment.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm at a job that doesn't pay enough.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: I've got 10 roommates, all that other stuff.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: Where do we start with that?
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: How do the Republicans begin to fix this?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they don't do a Joe Biden set, which, where inflation was transitory, you know, we weren't spending too much money, don't worry about it, and then all of a sudden it turned out to be 9%.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, the rate of inflation has come down, obviously prices have remained elevated.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I talk to people that run small businesses, it's still,
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's still hard to make their margins.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know you guys did a whole segment on ranchers.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's part of the problem.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, ranchers are their fixed costs from flirt fertilizer to everything else that got dingued with tariffs.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: Even if they're making more money on the back end, because of beep prices going up, they still, their inputs are much higher.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: So their margins could theoretically shrink, and they are shrinking.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: So this is a, you know, here's what I would say and I do listen to you guys on this stuff and I agree we need massive deregulation Okay, no doubt about that.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: We also need I think that on force error loss.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know that I know you guys on trump trump with the tariffs
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, here's the thing, right?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: I counted a sucks.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let's be fair.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: We protect their asses left and right.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: And they're left wing globalists.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably not worth getting it to a trade war with them.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: We got this ramping hanging over us.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: We need to be cognizant of costs.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: if someone's attacking you, like China, you know, you want to shoot China, right?
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to shoot China and wipe out everybody on the street, you know what I'm saying?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's part of it.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was an unforced era on Trump's port.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's the fact that he went whole hog on tariffs without really specifying.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, maybe phasing it in, it would be, that would have been much better because there isn't affordability crisis.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the other thing, Ross.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: rich people can speculate out of this, you know, you can speculate in stock market, right?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: You can buy AI stocks, you can, you know, do things to make money.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they can't do that.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's how big it's.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I agree, I just, I look at it.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's just so many problems financially.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I guess we'll tackle them one by one.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go in order here because it just happened yesterday with Canada.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Canada's been terrifying the shit out of us for years and years and years.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: This is long overdue.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: It just happened at the wrong time.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's, you know, you could have done this earlier in the year last year whenever, but it kept getting pushed.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: That was the same thing with Iran.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Tell our audience how these tariffs to Canada will affect them and their small businesses because I can't really figure it out.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you take hard to have sell to, for example, we went through this with Canada roughly, I don't know, four or five months ago.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it affected our aluminum costs.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it sucked for me for about 72 hours, because I had to call a bunch of different places and try to get the cans at the same price.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: But it happens.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: And now, we're buying American for aluminum cans.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I look at that as a win.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: Did it suck for me for about three days?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: What else is Canada producing?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: That is going to fall on American businesses.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: You got lumber?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Maple syrup, which Jesus Christ, I can't hear about that one more fucking time.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, what else is there that the American people should be concerned about with the tariffs?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, they do produce oil, right?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they are a trading partner.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and let me ask you this.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: So when you had a search for that aluminum, did your fix cost go up at all and for a long term, I mean, did it?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: So it didn't really hurt your business, it's essentially I would just say this, when you get into a tit-for-tat war with a country, it does impact, you know, it has to, because they're gonna raise, they're gonna do tariffs and new, you know, do tariffs and then,
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is totally justified from a, just, you know, just based on everything we just said, but here's the problem, should you be doing this now?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, we got like so much stuff going on.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: This Iran situation.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what best it wants to do with Iran is maybe
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's not best that this is like emerging as the most support person in this administration right now.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's not only trying to take interest rates down, you know, keep in the long, keep it.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: But just you should know that the interest rate that matters is not what the Fed controls.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's the 10 year bond.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what best it is in the market buying to keep those interest rates down.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: Um, he's doing that.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we can have, we don't have a 10 year bond that's at 5% as the midterms approach by the way, to 10 year bond is where they price mortgages a lot of stuff, a lot of consumer alone, so remember that has a direct impact on the economy.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's doing this arranging, which if he really goes through with it, and I know I listen to your, your partners are, you know, yesterday's podcast.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I listen to your latest podcast on this on the on the sanctions and uh, you had an interesting point about we should have been asked.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: Should have just done it.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: My book that would have been funny.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Senate email.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: Senate email why keep signaling to the American people in the world that there is problems and I ran.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I love Scott Besson and I and I agree with everything you just said.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's emerging is one of the most important people in this administration.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is we don't need to hear about it.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and just get the questions done.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're like most Americans in sick of hearing like, oh, we're on the, they're on the verge of a deal.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, how many times is Trump said that?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't help this credibility.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: I do think if they do this, Ross, this is sort of like the nuclear economic option.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_01]: If they really do this, this is and putting them on notice that if you really want to go there,
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: This would be tantamount to us wiping out every bridge in, you know, wiping out their, their total economic infrastructure, every bridge, every energy plant on from a military basis.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost in that genre.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty serious.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you do this,
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to stop, I mean, they could be hunger in a ran.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe that's what they're looking for.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: So people rebel and go nuts.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: But they really do this, Ross.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: This is pretty nasty stuff.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: And if it does work, that country is going to be on a death store.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: If they really do this, now I don't know who knows.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: You talk sometimes.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: You talk tough, and you, and
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: back off and we've done that a lot in this conflict.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: But if he really does this, if this is really a plan, this is going to be pretty heavy duty stuff.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's reasonable to tell them, this is heavy duty stuff, that this is going to be existential.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could have, I mean, think about if you don't have capital flows, like zero capital flows, no money coming in, where is it going to get their food?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: Where who's going to do that?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this will affect just not
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: We don't average people in our hand, rich people in our hand, they won't be able to do anything.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be able to move money around, they won't be able to get funding.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's just, this could be pretty devastating if they do it.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think it's reasonable to say, here's what we're going.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: But they gotta do it now.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: If they keep backing off, I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: They're just gonna go, they're laughing at us.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: I agree, but my biggest complaint with this and best in going out yesterday is,
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why wasn't this part of the original plan when we started bombing them?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Good point, both at the same time.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: You want to put this economic chokehold on Iran greats.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Do it the same day that you launch the first bombs back in February.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: Do it all at once and then choke them out by the summer.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was always, you listen to the show every day, I think.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was always saying, look, if you get this solved by the Fourth of July, to where it doesn't really affect or Memorial Day, it doesn't really affect gas prices for American people who are traveling and who are working their asses off, they got one vacation a year with their kids, they just get out of school.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you did this all the exact same time.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: This conflict would have been over by now, and probably would have been not only a big win for Trump, but a big win for percent, and then the Republicans wouldn't have any of this trouble in the midterms.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that's an I agree with that 100% and I've heard you say that, obviously.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: The one thing I will just say here, so discounting or just, you know, you're not addressing directly is the food fight inside the administration on this war.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I know this first hand because I get it from both sides.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you have the JD fan faction that wants nothing to do with this, you know, much more isolationist.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they actually said that they were a reasonable people.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you remember those initial talks.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you know, some of these guys are reasonable.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: You can't negotiate with terrorists.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: So you have that faction over the White House.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have a much more hawkish faction.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: And Trump is kind of like in the middle, though, I think he's siding with the Hawks a little bit more lately.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: But then the Hawke who would be in the Hawke's faction, but I could just guess the generals and Marco Rubio may even be innocent, you know, and I'm saying, I mean, that would be that side.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: So how this flesh is out.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Trump is the man in the middle in some ways,
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: you like the fact that he has a sort of a there's a diversity of opinion in the administration.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of want that both back and forth and come to a conclusion, but if you if it's basically ping pong as we've been seeing right now, it doesn't do anyone any good and it doesn't it's still confidence.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now that said, I mean look Ross.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: We still have a pretty good economy.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know prices are up, and that's a regressive tax on working-class people, which you don't want.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: But we still have unemployment fairly low.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: We do have an AI build out, and the AI build out is good for construction workers.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: My old man would be salivating and putting an iron in the ground, because he was what's known as a wild land.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: They're used to putting the rebars in, and this is a lot of concrete and a lot of wires
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of, a lot of laughs that they used to call that needs to be put in.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: So there are parts of the working-class economy that's doing okay.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Prices are still too high.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we get that.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: And so remember, this economy is dynamic.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's changing all the time.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: You just don't want to do stuff that make it,
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: worse politically.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a lot's writing on this and these midterms.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, the Democratic Party, the left of the Democratic Party is literally insane.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, we sit here because we're educated and we were sitting here till we talk about this all day.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, your listeners get educated, but a lot of people are just too not on politics and they sit there and say, oh, Elsa, you know, he wants to give me x, y, and z. I don't care.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't care if he wants a destroy his real or hates a Native America, if that's what he does.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying he does, but he's rhetoric sometimes moves in that direction.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: You see what I'm saying, most people aren't as political.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's a cell that has to happen.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Trump is not doing the cell, right?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a lot of areas in the economy.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess it's your point.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like, our listeners, myself included.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: I drive by the gas pump every single morning and it's either, you know, head and over four or it's down.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I care about.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: I go to the grocery store after work to pick up whatever my wife needs for dinner or whatever that is.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: I look at the grocery prices and I'm like,
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus Christ.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: I feel I'm not just having this conversation with my wife for the weekends, we took the kids out after a football game and you're looking at these meals.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: Meals that we went to Waffle House for Christ 6.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: I've never had a $55 bill at Waffle House in my entire life.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: I grew up in Georgia.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: I ate that every single morning as a kid.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: a hard press to find a bill that was over $13, but now you're looking at plates that are $11 at Waffle House for Christ 6.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like every single thing we do, you're dropping at least $150 to $200 a day just to barely live, and you don't really feel like you're living.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: You don't feel like your paycheck is being stretched out, but therefore, the youngest feeling that's
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: uh... the younger generations feeling that and then they're feeling hopeless and they look at these guys like else ii and everybody else and they said well they're gonna get me a bunch of free shit fuck it maybe i should vote for that because this isn't working right now

- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, those waffle houses operate on margins like that didn't, right?
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, in front of my known to diner, Greek guy, in New York, you know, he tells me about his margins always being squeezed.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, they're passing on costs, but they still, they don't make a lot of money.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this, the other part with the young people and socials, and they said, they've been sort of like brainwashed into this too.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I mean, listen, I mean,
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: I graduated from the University of Missouri Journalism School, like 1989, okay, so I haven't been college enough.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I elect your ecologist, and I usually elect your business type, so I don't see the fine arts majors and all that, so it's stuff.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: But the professor at these colleges are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, a lot of them are Marxists.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: So they are indoctrinating a whole class of young kids into this sort of mindset.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, that combined with the with the price problems and, you know, you could see how Marxism and socialism catches on.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: By which point out that we've had brushes with socialism in the past, you know, the 30s.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there was a plenty of Americans that went to Russia.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: want it to be interned in good and good blogs later, you know, people, there was a flirtation with communism until the full horrors of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: You go down the line.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so, you know, the kids don't get like one side, like you know, you're the people that are for the peasants trying to give people, people, you know,
- 30:28[SPEAKER_01]: millions of people dying because it's in plus that the economic system doesn't work.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: It just, you can't have government running a mark anything, you know, just does not work.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: At least the higher prices, at least the rationing, at shortages, and just look at, look at Ukraine.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: Why Ukraine has been such a historically
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: messed up place.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you know Ukrainians, I know a lot of them in New York, my doctors are creating.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the upheaval that that country went through beginning with Stalin's collectivization of the farms and then that led to one thing after another to many Ukrainians, millions of Ukrainians died on hunger.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of them sighted with the Nazis during World War II because the Russians were killing them.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was just became just a huge mess.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: And it all began with forced collectivization.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, it's not getting this sort of the backlash from the professor, but in terms of the short term here,
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: What is selling America right now?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: What is really selling us?
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you're worried about interest rates right now, Scott Besson has ever reported a going in the market by and bonds.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: When you buy a bond, the price goes up, the interest rate goes down just so you know.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that depresses the interest rates on the bonds and you really want to look at the 10 year.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Keep an eye on the 10 year.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: When that thing hits five, that's when bad things could happen because
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: what he can do this temporarily.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: But the bottom line is we have $40 trillion in debt.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: 2000, we've had $8 trillion in debt.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: 26 years later, we have $40 trillion.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's more than a hundred percent of GDP, now you can slice that a little bit because debt held by the public is something like 35 trillion, which is a little less because the Social Security Trust Fund has bonds in the government hold bonds, but this is a lot of debt.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, when the herd mentality starts,
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: digesting that.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's very hard to contain that panic.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: Scott doesn't should know that because that's what he did for a living.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, he worked for Soros.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: He broke the bank of England.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever heard of that term?
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: He basically shorted, betting short, the pound sterling and forced an intervention by the British government to come in there, devaluate and he made billions for George Soros back in the day.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Because there was a problem with
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: British Brown Sterling, the Kondikot, maybe was in shape, was for shaking, that's what these bond and currency vigilantes do.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_01]: They take advantage of that, expose it, and that's kind of what's going on now.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: So we can do the short-term stuff, but long-term, you wanna get interest rates on the control, we gotta cut back undead a little bit.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, cutting back on debt would require not being in a war, too, because we're spending a shit ton of money, making bombs, sending bombs over, keep on our troops over there, all their other ships.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's another thing that's got everybody disengaged so to speak with reality, because they say, hey, dude, you're dropping all this money over there.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: We never asked for that.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: You can't paint on no wars.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's what kicked all of this off.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Trump was rolling.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: up until this i ran thing gas was under two dollars uh... it looked like you know he's getting his new interest rate guy in there we're going to drop interest rates start buying houses stop you know car prices are going to drop down and everything else now the debt of skyrocketed up to forty trillion uh... beset i read your article in the new repost this morning which i thought was excellent it's an excellent read um... if you're out there and you want to read it's
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: of you break in this down and regards to the 10-year bonds and yet and all that stuff and in regards to Scott Bessant doing it for years and years and years, the problem is like you said in your article, he's walking a real thin tightrope right now and people could short him.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: And they could short the bond markets and if it works, we're doubly fucked.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and here's where, okay, I'm going to give you both sides of the coin here.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the negative view of it.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, the glass half empty, right?
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: Is that the history of interventions like this has never been good.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, when the market, when the bond vigilantes or the currency vigilantes, as Mr. Bessant was back in the day, pounds and you're a government and you try to stop them from bouncing.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: It only emboldens them and proves their point that there is a problem with that too much.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's also a fight for capital because of the VAI bills out, right?
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: Anthropic and everybody they need to borrow so that forces the treasury to essentially compete with anthropic for the financing.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: So they cost more to sell treasury bonds because
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: anthropic is sucking up some of the capital worldwide.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: So that's that's when they smell that government intervention to prevent that they doubled out because they said now we got them now he's admitted to it.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay so that's the glass half empty scenario.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to give you a glass half full.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's go back to 2000 right when we when I said there was eight trillion dollars a day.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: Guess where it interests rates were then on the 10 year.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: It was 6.6 percent.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: What is it now?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's now it's like I have to uncheck today, but 4.7 was the number I looked at last night.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: So you would think, with $40 trillion in debt, we'd have much higher interest rates than we have now in the 10 year, right?
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: Even without business intervention, and we don't, why is that?
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: Because the US economy is dynamic, it's growing.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: We have this AI build out.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's some positive things here.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I can argue this both ways.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think,
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: is at some point we're going to have to take the warnings of the bond vigilantes seriously.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that this is an existential problem now, but you know, we got to get our hands around it.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, here's the thing, Ross, and this is what confounds me with both Republicans and Democrats.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to do it like in a day.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: it just have to do it concertedly and effectively in a way that you prove to the markets that, you know, we kind of were cognizant to this, we want to grow our economy, we're going to like sort of, we're going to get something titled in reform in some ways and we're going to do a few things that kind of sort of
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: basically narrows that debt down while we grow the economy.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it just, no, it's ever done that.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the question is, when does the, I don't think we're in that existential crisis, like the Bank of England was back in 1992 and best into short.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's the founder.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, there's there's warning signs here.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's no doubt.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: Canary is in the coal mine here.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: There is and and you look at the stock markets.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a record highs and you have an affordability crisis and everybody else middle America.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the working class everybody's looking at and saying, how are you guys making this much money in the stock market when the rest of us are struggling here.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have an answer to that, you know, I've read reports and it's a rumor, so I'll ask you if you can confirm this, but I read that 90% of the stock market is owned by, you know, the richest people in the United States, the top 1% and that's kind of who's controlling the Dow Jones and these markets right now.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: Is that true or is there more 401ks in there or more average people in the market than we think there is?
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: Well, average people are in the market to form a case, right?
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: Do not, you know, the average, but here's where it gets funky and I was telling people this and they were like, you know, I hang out with Wall Street guys, all the time.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: People that sell, like those clients are like CEOs and they're financial advisors.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of those types, right?
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: They would tell me, oh, everybody's in the market.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the market's going up.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: This was during the Biden administration.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: The market's going up and everybody's in it.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_01]: So it doesn't matter if prices are going up.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say, do you know what they average 401k is?
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: and they would like, oh, I don't know.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: So the average formula, okay, is something like 136,000 dollars, starting exactly a lot of money.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: The 401k where there's 50% above the below is at the medium, I think that's the, is like 50 brand.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: So think about it, most Americans are not betting benefiting from this run-up in the stock market.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you make the case that if you're fireman or a teacher, you have these guaranteed pension funds, they're in the markets in a major way, of course.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: But average guys, and I had to tell to my bartender, my favorite bar, and I'm leaving me, he showed me his 401k, it's 150 grand.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's not enough to pay the bills, you know what I'm saying, and your salary is kind of fixed, and that gets eaten by inflation.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: So remember, I don't know about the percentages I use in one percent of whatever, but rich people theoretically.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: But not theoretically, you have always fundamentally been able to use stock speculation and various types of speculation to smooth out the impact of inflation average people can't.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: They just don't have enough money.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: If they're saving, they're saving through a full one cable, which is hard to generate enough money to make up the difference.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think you're directionally right about to
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: the fact that this stock market is benefiting mostly rich people, not average people.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and that's another thing that sucks because to your points, yeah, you look at 150Ks of 401k.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Usually 401k's are set up for retirements.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, guys, put your money in this.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: We'll match it up to a certain dollar amount.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: And then when you retire, you can cash out and take it.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: But to your
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: Can you buy a house?
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, when you're average median house price is $493,000, you're looking at that going shit.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's maybe a 20% down payment.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then I can buy some furniture and some stuff on top of it.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm still fucked in this.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: I might have 60 grand left over.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I?
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: Because there's a lot of people question, why do I put my money in a 401k?
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't even know what to tell them on this.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you should do that.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we, you know, I was talking to some of the workers that are moving me in and I was like, you guys have a formal case.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but, you know, I'm going to go like to keep the icing down on that.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: You put back a little bit on whatever, but try to get that and try to get that match.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's free money, okay?
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean it's enough to get you through, but you got it.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: You got it.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: If they're giving you the match, go go max and try to, like, try to, you know, tighten the belt a little in other ways.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I think that's, that's, that's one issue, but,
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's not enough to make up the difference in terms of the prices of the app of stuff that impact everybody has not gone down since the Biden years.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: The rate of inflation has gone down, but the prices have gone down.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now Trump is absolutely right that
- 42:10[SPEAKER_01]: he got stuck with this bag of shit, right, which is what it is, French.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: The where he's rolling, I think, is that he in certain ways did not play it, right, and made it worse.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I think making it worse was the tariffs.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: It was, I was a board.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: like many percent of what Trump has done, you know, I love this stuff getting rid of DEI and sort of leveling the plane feel for it.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you shouldn't be general Pinochet's kid from Chile and come in at 10 points, I'm going to point extra on your SAT scores over some cool minor story.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was what we had for a long time.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: Trump has been 100% right and correcting that.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: America first thinking that we always think about our interest first, get all that,
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Degraduation, he should do more, but that was good, you know, extending the tax cuts.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of stuff he's done, I can obviously, it's been very good, you know, depreciating assets, and that allows companies to essentially go out there and put more fixed spend more in assets because they can depreciate its faster.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's an incentive that is great.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: No tax on tips.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: My dad was a bartender on the side.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: There's ever the bone you want to throw at the average people that work their ass off.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's good But these tower of stuff, Ross is just in my view.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: I can't get my hands around it It should have been done more could come here early and Concertedly and I think that adds to the the
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: the price pressures on average people and that's all these things your hand from best that he's doing it's all to address that in a band-aid way okay so why do you why do you like buy the yen remember we've done that was we're talking about the end-carriage rate I heard you guys did a whole thing on the end-carriage rate which I don't disagree so what is the end-carriage rate yeah right yeah character is just borrowing yen which is very cheap and buying other assets right
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: So why is it best in buying the end?
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if the end gets wickedly devalues, the market starts moving against it, that trade gets really funky, and there's so many trades like that, it could be a systemic risk of spending the actual system, I'd say it's 2008, but it's so many hedge funds that have done this end-carry trade.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's one thing he's worried about, so, but the other thing he's worried about is that the Japanese hold a lot of US debt, right?
- 44:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they buy US debt.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a number one foreign buyer of US debt,
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: So if the end is devalued, I mean, it makes it much more difficult for them to buy you a set because as you know, you have to spend, you know, if it's devalued, that means it takes more yen to buy a dollar to get the U.S. bond and we want them to be buying our bonds.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: So remember, these are all short-term stuff to sort of...
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: kind of deal with that now, but, you know, in the long term, we have to have entirely reform, we have that deregulation.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: We definitely have to come to terms with the way we live, we gotta get through this fucking Iran war, which is just mind boggling.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's never ending, and it's really, and you know, the other thing is, you gotta stop the democratic party.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: the ludic-tick fringe of the democratic party from taking over because that then, you know, Chuck Schumer should know better.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: endorsing these little ticks, he knows that they, that this is essentially bad for the Democrat party going Marxist.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand what they don't.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually do, so that that one I can answer for you because it has become such a popular movement and popular among the youth.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I forget the last lady who got in there and the night she got in
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: would seem like a, you know, typically a moderate Democrat now he's left.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: I know that's what I'm saying, but now he seems moderate compared to these fucking people that are out of control.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: So you can't talk shit against them because the power from this party is coming from the
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're not doing any favors with you.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: They already hate old people and in government anyways, Chuck Schumer and those guys.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think Pelosi got out at the right time.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: She saw the writing on the wall.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: But they're all trying to hold on to a job.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they know it ain't going to be there pretty soon.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: And if they cross these guys, they cannot come out and say, hey, you know.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: Socialism's bad.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is fucking crazy.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: These guys are communists.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_00]: They have to say it's a big tent party because they're trying to get these seats.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: They're trying to at least get the house potentially the Senate.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they'll get the Senate.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the only thing the Republicans can run off of.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because right now everybody's looking at prices in every single sector like we talked about at the top.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: housing, food, gas, interest rates, all of it.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: We're all getting buried in this.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it allows this movement to continue.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Schumer knows it.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: And Sluck, he's got one foot in the grave anyways.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_00]: So he's not going to be around much longer.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: But he's still going to try to squeeze out those last four years, the last of his power, because he doesn't know anything else,
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: to do in this life.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, once it's over for him, it's over for them.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: We never hear from these guys again.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: The only way Republicans can combat this is by lowering all these prices, which we can't fucking do.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll go back to Iran and we'll start there.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like, again, gas prices were under two, where we were living at that point.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like things were going well.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: Everything was positive.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a lot of shit you could talk about the Republicans.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then this Iran thing, it's just set off a whole train of problems that has not been corrected.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're coming up on the six month mark here, if you don't get this Iran thing solved with the oil prices.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: how long does this last, how long can the economy hold up?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, even us, we're looking at diesel prices.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_00]: You take the tariff thing that I talked about earlier with Hardy F. Seltzer.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I was able to solve that on aluminum.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: What I haven't been able to solve is diesel prices.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because you still got a ship, and you still got to drop this off across the country.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: Even though we're looking at roughly $3.80 or $4 here, diesel is at $5.50, you go out to the West Coast.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: You're on this six and a half, seven and a half dollar range there.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's driving up prices in the grocery stores.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: So the Iran thing is gotta get fixed first in my opinion.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: Is that at the top of the list for you?
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: It would be, you know, I would not, that's why I don't like well this side stuff with the taris of Kennedy, even though I can't stand.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, you know, the Skymark Army is about the biggest global issue, you can get a brand Bloomberg, you know, the whole Bloomberg company, it's, you know, a Bloomberg globalist sort of, I mean, I have a lot of friends there that work in the new side.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: There are excellent reporters in Mike Bloomberg's brilliant.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: But it is one of these sort of prototypical globalist companies, right?
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: It sells data, it operates in China, you know?
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't stand these globalist types like him and, you know, attacking the U.S., or after we have his back all the time.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: That said, not a fight for now.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: The fight for now is to get
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, it's related, is to address China and Iran.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: This China is the lifeline to Iran right now.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where we should be putting all our focus and get that whole out of there.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: Either go in or get out or figure it out.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, I think you're 100% right.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: We should have done maximum pressure early on and we wouldn't probably be having this conversation right now.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: So close to the midterms.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: But now they're, you know, but this is like when, like when,
- 50:00[SPEAKER_01]: When administrations are divided heavily divided, you get this sort of, sort of sclerosis of thought, right?
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's kind of locked in right now.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we're there at, there are loggerheads with each other.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's what you have here with the administration.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guarantee you have people that say,
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: Let's bomb the fuck out of him.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: And let's, let's, you know, you give the maximum pain.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think at the other side, oh, you know, people are going to be dying in the streets.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to bomb them.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's the JD man side.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, the president has to make the call.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, and I think it's, you know, I don't know where,
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: He actually comes out on this intellectually.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know I know he loves cows So trust me.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can you can see that in my way You know, he develops sourcy things.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the best things in sliced bread.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: He ran up.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_00]: He ran on it So it's you know the the terror thing isn't surprising because he did say this when he was running for president
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't know how he stands on this sort of how do we deal with the Iran because in some ways he's always said I want to take out a Iran which can't they should not have a Islamic state.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_01]: This is going back decades.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can pull the tape way back when he's for the use of American power, you know, judiciously and and strongly.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he would have bombed their their nuclear sites if he didn't.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: but he's got a cabinet that's divided.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he picked JD dance for a reason, not because he totally disagrees with him on these sort of international policies.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, JD dance is kind of an interesting Republican right now, right?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying negative about him.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know him personally.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: Friends of mine know to say it's a great guy.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, he's both an isolationist, so he's not
- 51:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's also kind of, is embrace of, is economic theories are kind of, you know, that they're not traditional Republican theories, right, they're about, you know, I mean, there are much more of a sort of government interventionist Republican theory.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you can see where the horses you start, they're not both sides, help through your JD events and read his book, he talks a lot about that.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, but to, you have this sort of administration talking at a both sides of its mouth,
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: And stuff doesn't get done when that happens, and then that's kind of what scares me right now.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: So let's say they solved the Iran thing.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_00]: Gas prices come down.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think that will help ease at least food, because the cost of food is going up because obviously they're adding the diesel prices to all the deliveries and everything else.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think that helps with food, that helps with Americans, obviously at the pump, that would solve a lot of this shit by getting out of Iran.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: After that, would that cause the interest rates to drop
- 52:54[SPEAKER_00]: Still, you got to get this under, you know, I looked at the interest rates, I'm in a middle of a re-fight right now.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_00]: 6.75 is the best fucking rate that I can get right now.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it ain't great.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: 2019, and I got two and a half percent for Christ 6.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: Now the best I can pray for is 6.75 right now.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: And will that affect interest rates if we're able to get out of this Iran's itch and then the gas goes back down.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: You remember, this is like a dynamic thing.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, theoretically, if you have the lower inflation, because you have gas prices coming down, right?
- 53:34[SPEAKER_01]: That should help interest rates coming down.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not talking about the Fed funds rate, which is almost, I'm just going to tell you, that's almost a big leaf stuff.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: signalling, but it's not the real game.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_01]: The real game is not the fit fun Drake, which is like the sort of short end of the curve, right?
- 53:56[SPEAKER_01]: So the meal curve goes from 0 or 1 to 30 years.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's a 30-year bond.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_01]: The real stuff is like at the 10-year level.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_01]: who controls that.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: And the people that control that is the market in many ways, and if the Fed intervenes, which is, they've done that in the past, QE is an intervention to take interest rates down by the government expanding its balance sheet.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: But that's a dangerous game because then people start worrying about
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you know, you know, other issues like the, you know, is the US worry, are they inflating the economy, are they, are they, you know, they're protecting the dollar, you know, and that's when the vigilante is coming again.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_01]: So the best way to deal with this, my view is get this war over with.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: and then start chipping away at that dead in a meaningful way while you grow the economy.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_01]: And that's one of the things that I just never hear out of anybody.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it like plan?
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's literally like, let's just we're on autopilot, let's just grow the economy, but you can't really do that.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now, in the past, let's be real clear.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_01]: Every time we've talked about getting rid of the deficit in a concerted way, never worked.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you're a young guy, Russ.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm old.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: I remember when I was in, it started out in journals that was something called, journals and it was called, the gram, it was, it was, it was, it was, gram rubbing the hollings deficit reduction plan in the late 80s.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_01]: You'll look it up.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't work.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing happened.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: When actually got us out of a budget of perennial budget deficits in the 90s, well, it was a tech boom, something would say bubble, and also austerity placed by the Republicans when you had the Gingrich Revolution, and they took over Congress, and none of the spending stuff that Clinton really wanted to do could happen, and so then he, Clinton, adroitly, became a generalist.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: kind of conservative economically started cutting capital gains taxes he started you know you welfare is over as you know it remember welfare reform I mean yeah and on top of that you went up you had a piece dividend because the Soviet Union was so as a perfect storm perfect in a perfect storm peace dividend we'd have to spend as much as military because the Soviet Union was was going away we weren't quite in the terrorism the global terrorism aspect of it yet
- 56:16[SPEAKER_01]: of a world conflict and on top of that you you had the tech bubble that was producing and boom which it was a bubble but it was also boom because you have all these great companies that came out of that Amazon Google you name it go down the line Microsoft got bigger and stronger Apple so that all cloud revenues in and we were able to plug the deficit so that's kind of what happened then so you know we need a little luck we need better policy
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: we also need to recognize that, you know, we just can't keep spending on autopilot.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I think if you do that, I would like to see someone come up with that, but
- 56:57[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't hear that.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I cover this stuff every day.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: I talk to these guys.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: I talk to people that talk to the best to talk to the wash, where the wash would take him out of his bedroom.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's not involved in physical policy, but you know, I talk to people that deal with the policy makers.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just not hearing that there's a phase two to this thing, you know, that can get us out of this long term.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's a little scary.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: it is and you know we've said this on the show for the last year and a half the one of the biggest problems with this current administration is the messaging who's out there delivering this message to make American people feel better about their day-to-day lives and spending saying hey we've got a plan to fix this here's what it is laid out xyz instead we've got sick burns on twitter right now what's trending number one in america is uh the lake
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: America trompones to change Lake Ontario to Lake America people it's fun and it's hilarious and it's red don't get me wrong and if the country was rolling right now this would be hilarious and we'd all get a big kick out of it but she isn't going well right now and you don't want sick burns anymore without some action behind it because renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: isn't going to fix anything in regards to prices right now, and I understand that from people.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: Shit, I'm pissed off about it.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, the messaging needs to be better.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who's delivering that message or when and why it all feels discombobulated, especially when, you know, the president's on true social, which you can't stop.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_00]: And it's clearly him on there versus the rest of your cabin and going Jesus Christ, man.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: We're trying to solve this, this, and this, and this, I don't need you on the toilet tweeting about Lake America today.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_00]: We've got some bigger fish to fry, and it sucks.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, up a plan to the nation would be great.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to knock out X, Y, and Z, and here's why we're going to do it.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: You go back to that last prime time speech he gave in regards to China.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: If China really did rig our election in 2020 and they're meddling in the election, why not come out the next day, sign an executive order and get all 600,000 Chinese students out of these universities and then impose real sanctions.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I know he's got a meeting with Xi Jinping next week.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: What is expected to happen there because going back to what you said earlier in regards to Iran, China's the one that's prop in this up right now with Iran and the background.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if they're serious about these orange sanctions, that that doesn't laid out, I mean, you got to explain to China, here's more about what we need from you.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I would think.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it has to be about a rant.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm sure they're talking about other things.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: But this is, I mean, listen, I eat.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: What I appreciate about Trump is that he does talk to these guys.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's not afraid to like break bread with the enemy I mean, there's something positive about that.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, he didn't totally dismiss the Iranians right off right off the back.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now, obviously you don't want to be immersed in, you know, in an in an entrenched long term dialogue with these lunatics, but you know, initially opening up saying I will hear your side of the story.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the worst thing is the fact that he kept going on and on and on and on
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: So he does have a good relationship with G, and you know, you know, the one thing though the blind spot for Trump I think, and I've known the guy forever and I like him.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_01]: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've covered him as a as a as a reporter for many years.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: Is that he thinks he's got like the magic touch with people like that he can persuade anybody to do anything.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's good at it, don't get me wrong.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great negotiator.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: He understands weakness he understands when he's strong and they're strong.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean listen, not for nothing he's not broke right now.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean because he was you know back in the day he was almost broke and he had a cut deals with banks and
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: and he came out of it on the positive side much more positive than ever before.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_01]: So he knows how he knows when his back is up against the wall, but I think he's a little too overconfident with these guys.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: People seem nice at first and then they back said, look, look, what are you doing with Bond Army?
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think he's a nice guy.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_01]: Remember yet?
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, phone call.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_00]: He had him at the White House.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: He was in the old office.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: They took a picture together.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: But Tommy, of all people, I mean, this guy is destroying the city where he holds property and doing some really nasty things.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, there's this, I find spot which I'm so, we'll see, I mean, listen, if they really go through with these things, it's a ran, it's gonna be a deep shit, I can't remember.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they were already a deep shit, I don't know how you get food in there.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and look, Cuba's going through the same thing right now, um, you know, they haven't had electricity, foods, they could offer you all the supply, all that other stuff, um, they're more developed out.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, the Iranian people are much more secular than you think.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's a whole, like, it's like 30% of the population that's religiously zealots, but, or maybe less, but a lot of the Iranian people are very secular, but they don't, they want heat, electricity, they want it all,
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, if he goes through with this, this is going to be pretty wild stuff in the next couple of weeks.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_00]: How long would it take?
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: So this operation, economic chokehold thing.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: How long would that take to
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: execute for the long run, like I'm trying to think of like something that would be positive for Americans.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_00]: Is it a month?
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_00]: Is it two months?
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: How long with those sanctions need to be upheld in order to choke out this country economically?
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I've heard various things as I've asked, you know, like, you know, how long I mean, no one knows, no one knows what they have stopped up and food supplies.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know, by the way, you could see the leadership feeding themselves and letting everybody else go hungry.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, that goes on a lot, it happened in Venezuela, you know, before we took out Maduro.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Venezuelan people were living in dire poverty, you know, a lot of them.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we talked about the Venezuelan migrants coming here.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of them were like, were middle-class people who just fled, you know, if you go to some parts of Spain, and they were in Madrid, there's a whole neighborhood of Venezuela that got out.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: Though they're middle-class, got there.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, usually the leadership feeds itself first.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I don't know how long it's last.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_01]: I would say if they really go through with this,
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_01]: a month.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it'd be nasty, man.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_01]: It could be, I mean, you're going to, I mean, and maybe that's what they want.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's the, that's the, that's the land that show them so much that there's a revolution.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, which I would have already thought, would have started to be honest with you.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: Once you're new counts, uh, you know, the navy, uh, their military, everything else, I thought the people would have already risen up and taken over the governments.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like it was on the cusp of that anyways.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's funny to say that.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think looking back on it, I think that was the hope from the administration back in February.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, we level all these places.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_00]: There was already protests in the streets and the people will take over from there and it'll be like Venezuela.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: And we can get out of there and celebrate and this is a four to six week thing and it wasn't.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_00]: The people didn't rise up.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's 90 million people there, which I didn't know at the time, but looking at the numbers, that's a lot of fucking people to convince.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, you need to go and do this when you've had women wrapped up over there for 50 years.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, some people want it.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: Some people don't.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then you got to get them to agree to overcome this.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, choking everybody out economically.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_00]: would certainly do that and would force that.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: That would force people to the streets and force people to overthrow their governments.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe that is the plan.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_00]: I just wish that was part of the plan back in February because I think you underestimated one guy in a mountain with a rocket that's able to blow up a ship.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what sucks at the end of the day.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're looking at a month of that,
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_00]: tops, right?
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say it goes past that.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_00]: You're still kind of, you know, 30, 40 days from the midterms at that point.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_00]: Is there any hope for Republicans to retain the house at all?
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, the, the one probably have a brand is that it's different than Medoro than the, the Venezuelans, you know, you can all have to do them, right?
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, that, that is, um,
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're not is religiously ideological.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_01]: They may be like, they may be, you know, themes, right?
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_01]: And they preach theory through a prison of Marxism, right?
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_01]: But these, with so-and-and-all right, I mean, you have like hardcore Islamesis.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_01]: So to deal with them is a lot more difficult, you know, I'm saying.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: So remember, they're much more
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that's the, and the other part of it, Ross, like, don't want his guns over there.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, listen, I was, my dad was a Marine, scout sniper, all right, and we never had guns in the house because he was just, you know, was afraid to might shoot each other.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think, but you know,
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_01]: My dad could pick up a gun and blow your brains out.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm saying that a fairly far range.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_01]: And he knew where to get it on.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and his friends had guns.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_01]: And America is built on that culture, which a lot of it is good.
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, some bits bad, but a lot of it's good.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_01]: We can defend ourselves.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're raining people have no guns.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, what are they going to do?
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do the other, the RGCs, I was just cold there.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_01]: They were reporting that guard or whatever the hell the cold those thugs.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: They could sit on rooftops and just, you know, pop people in the head in the back of the head as they're marching.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the IRGC, yeah, absolutely, I just, I don't know how, I don't know what the weapon stash is, and we also don't know whether or not Russia and or China is supplying them with weapons so that the country is an overtaken.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's something we have no idea about right now as well.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I think the economic strategy would probably be the most effective, because let's face it if you can't eat.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to do something and the same thing would happen here in America, if you cut off our food supply and our ability to eat, live and take care of ourselves, yes, people would be out in the streets and whatever government was in there, probably wouldn't be in there that long, but to your point, we have guts.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: They do not.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to take a lot longer, there would be a lot of bloodshed in that, and then, you know, the sentiment around the world,
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_00]: from the United States standpoint is holy shit where the worst country on the planet we forced all these people and this archaic fucking dissent and now they're trying to overthrow the government just so they could eat bread at the end of the day and that's not a good look for us either so it's a real fucking conundrum we've got going on here Charlie and I'm just looking for something positive to tell people on a daily basis I just don't know
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_01]: The US economy is resilient, we're going to get through this, there's no doubt it's going to be bumpy.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but I, I think we're at the point now where they know the, it's even, you know, you know, do it or get the hell out of dodge.
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think the administration is kind of like, okay, with $80 a barrel gas, even though it should be down to 70.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, you're not, I'm not, but, you know, I think that they feel that that's manageable, you know, um, you know, one thing I will say, once this thing is over,
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: oil prices will go down dramatically.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_01]: We've been pumping so much oil on our own.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have the world open.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_01]: Then as well as supply should come on at some point at some, you know, when they modernize those facilities, which they're already doing,
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_01]: The world has got to figure out a way not to have the street of homoose to be the sort of focal point of global oil commerce that's insane, right, if it's controlled by these lunatics.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think there are already the Saudis and all the Arab countries are figuring out ways around that.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I think
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_01]: net net, this is in the future.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_01]: And if you can get rid of the Iranian regime, that would be like great.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that would be, so that's the positive thing.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_01]: If this thing could turn out positive.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_01]: even with a possible, not even regime change, just more normal, fluidity, right, so on.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_01]: This might, this, this could be really good.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and let's not forget, we did downgrade them.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these guys with the biggest global assholes in the world, they supply, how am I?
- 1:10:30[SPEAKER_01]: They supply it has a lot.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they're behind like all this stuff around the world, they target Americans whenever they can, they had to play it out on trumpets, talking about his kid, I mean, these are stumpets, right?
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And we downbreed them pretty significantly, okay?
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're not the power they were.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_01]: They can, yes, they can launch a missile here and there, but that country is not the power that it is, and that it once was.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a positive.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_01]: If you can kind of degrade them a little more, well, that sort of tax that they put on oil, you know, that goes through that area kind of goes away maybe.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_01]: So there's positive things here, but you got to deal with it.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_01]: And we've got to like, we've got to flush this stuff out fast.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't say.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and if this heads towards the holidays and we're still in the same spot, economically, God, that's gonna be awful for everybody.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Cause I'm about rich for Christ's sake, so I wish it was and trying to, with the company and all that stuff, but yeah, I'm not at the point where I can say, hey, yeah, $80 a barrel, fuck yeah, let's, yeah, that seems about right for me.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Rich people can say that, I can't say that.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know, and, you know, this reminds me of when Trump's said us, so you might have to get two toys, not three.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, I kind of like agree with that, as someone that got two toys, you know, you don't want to be cavalier about price, but it's not, it's not, it's never ends well politically.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, it doesn't end well politically, and, you know, I'm not completely blackpilled.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_00]: I said this yesterday, like, before the Iran thing started, there was a lot of things that I agreed with.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I was with you around the same number of 90% of what he was doing was fucking awesome.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then this one thing can trip up everything and a legacy and all that other stuff.
- 1:12:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say it never happens.
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_00]: This lake of America thing, I'd laugh my ass out today, and it'd be like, all right, great.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's the best lake of America.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_01]: I want that.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_00]: I said, why?
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_00]: I would be hilarious.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: We sold golf of America t-shirts on the show.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's great.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can have fun with the memes.
- 1:12:39[SPEAKER_00]: And we can all have a good laugh and some drinks and everything else.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Instead, I feel like most Americans are starting to care about politics more than we used to.
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm certainly in that camp.
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't give a shit until it actually affected me with Obamacare in my personal business back in 2012.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, I didn't really follow politics that much to be honest with you.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_01]: I tell most people are.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, most people don't give a fuck.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just, you know, the kind of living their lives, you know, put their kids to school.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_01]: They look at very bottom line stuff.
- 1:13:14[SPEAKER_01]: They're not ideological.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess you could say they're Americans and they're right of center or like they're in that, that they're not ideological ox, right?
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're not me talking capitalism and free markets, you know, and just like, okay, free markets work, I want it.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the other stuff works.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I want a lot of people are in that boat, you know, and so I think, you know, yeah, is some of this is selling.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think one of the problems that Trump faces now is that people have gone off and go tired of him.
- 1:13:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I, you know, when you deal with four years of Joe Biden who was absolutely the worst president around and is and double down with a very bad.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, vice president that couldn't sort of articulate something without sounding like it's saying.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and you know, policies that were so far left, you know, people forget that.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_01]: That made us forget that, you know, people got tired of Trump with some of his antics like Jared I first term.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_01]: Me just remember there was a, it was an exhaustion about the tweeting and this and that, you know.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: And, and you kind of get that feeling now, just an exhaustion about him.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_01]: that, you know, he's not, he's, you know, like Ontario.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that, how many irals were that today when you were at about $5 a gallon?
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_01]: you know what I'm saying.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, showing them to work and I see that, I'm just like, okay, dude, like, yeah, I would have laughed my ass off.
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_00]: If things were going well, and that was the top story today.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like that would have been great.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_00]: But it's not.
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_00]: And Americans, you know, are concerned every single day.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_00]: To your points, I always wonder what's going to happen in 2028.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_00]: When Trump is out, there's no more.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know, real actions, no more running, nothing else.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say you get a guy in there like Rubio.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think Rubio's favorite on Kalshi right now.
- 1:15:02[SPEAKER_00]: And we follow those prediction markets and things like that.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_00]: But let's say you get a guy in like Rubio, who's completely fucking normal.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's not tweeting all the time.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's given normal press conferences, very smart, as far as, you know, trade around the world and everything else is going on for in policy.
- 1:15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Do people just go back to normal or is this expected to be the new normal?
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Because when Biden was in there, we were in the middle of COVID.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lockdown anyways.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he was hiding out in a fucking basement and never said anything.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_00]: But also, it kind of fit the time period of, oh, well, we've all got masks on, or all that other shits.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, nobody's really talking to each other.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm curious is what happens to the nation in 2028 when there is somebody totally new in there
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it depends on who that new person is.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a Gavin Newsom, which I started to think, because I think he's just pathetic, bad, and just, he's like a typical politician, say whatever to get in there, and just, he's just horrible.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Or, I mean, there's a bunch of Democrats on ALC.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_01]: I, did I tell you that I went to the same high school as ALC, stop it, I think, yes, your town high school.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, when we lived in the Bronx,
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_01]: I just looked it up.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_01]: The neighborhood out from originally in the Bronx, and she's from it's right next to each other, so it's so weird.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I'm a little older than her, just a little bit.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just a couple summers, that's all.
- 1:16:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but she's single now, Charlie.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you're married.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I am married, but you know, she's into the breadhead, dude.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_01]: You see that guy?
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they broke up the ginger.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the ginger broke up with hers.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's our guess on our side there.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_00]: She was trying to get him to come out and say, hey, apologize for your whiteness and some other shit.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I find that interesting, but anyway, but like I said, we don't know who they're going to put up there.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't we, Jamie Vance is the vice president.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Correct.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I've heard the Trump did throw his support behind him and that, you know, maybe Rubio would be his VP and then, you know, try to move that on down the line.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I have no idea either way, let's say it's Jay here, Rubio.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_00]: who are just completely normal guys who are not spending all day long, you know, tweeting and all that other shit, I wonder what happens to the nation.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Does it just feel boring after this?
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, for people like you and I, yes, because we feed off of this stuff, right?
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_01]: But like I said, most people are starting to I roll now on some of this excess stuff.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I just, there's been an, I felt is always faced exhaustion, you know, on his, on his temperament stuff.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, I, I saw that, you know, part of the issue of 2020 wasn't just COVID and, you know, whether, you know, I'm, I mean, I, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_01]: He lost the election and my view is he lost one of his white losses because he had not just a media but social media against him, throttling negative stories about Biden, like down to Biden, laptop stuff.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, yes, he had a tremendous opposition that he shouldn't face, but there was a general exhaustion.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he just go back and some of his comments, you know, I mean,
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the country was in lockdown mode.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying I disagree with a lot of them.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but, you know, there's a thing with Donald, with Trump that, you know, you get an exhaustion out of him because he's so different.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so maybe the country will enjoy the sort of
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_01]: a degree of normal see now depends on what that normal see it's like come on Harris would not be normal we don't it's right yeah yeah there's some wood wood wood out just burnt the country to the ground I wasn't California when he was there uh a.o.c.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_00]: would uh more pretty much end the nation
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_01]: Right, so, so that's not, and that's like Joe, my memory when he thought Joe Biden was normal, and then he was like, he couldn't even tell, by the way, that the bait performance was like, I watched it in horror, I felt bad for the guy, but you know, I didn't surprise me, given like everything that happened before that, right?
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_01]: It was not like he came out of the blue.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_01]: I remember with Reagan when he had a, sort of, a walkie of the bait performance against Mondale,
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_01]: That was surprising because Reagan wasn't, you know, when he gave the speech, it was normal and stuff, right?
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_01]: When he was like, ask questions, he was semi-normal, and then he came back the second time and, you know, we all scored a knockout on on on on on on on on.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_01]: on Mondale and the economy was so good, no one cared, but you know, this wasn't a surprise.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_01]: So remember biting did not give us the normalcy we were seeking.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_01]: And when you were seeking normalcy from his vice president, you got like some woman that was just like, you know, you just couldn't understand what she was saying.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she was just insane.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it depends on what that normal is.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think the most normal people obviously would be Jackie fans.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_01]: And Mark Ruby or Desantis.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, Desantis wasn't an effective campaign or the first time, but he was pretty.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I, I, I interviewed him recently at the Milk and Conference.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's a short dude, man.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_01]: They're telling me that guy is coming to play.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yeah.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_01]: You could see it in his eyes.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's got these sort of like eyes that are just good tellings and dishes as hell.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: And, and a really smart guy.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so how does this play out, Charlie, are we headed for a recession here?
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_00]: Are we going to make it come back?
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_00]: What's your prediction for, let's just call it the next six months?
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_00]: Muddle for.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're, I mean, corporate profits are, are good still.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_01]: The war, we got to deal with that.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, I build out a still going on, which is adding to the economy.
- 1:21:13[SPEAKER_01]: Um.
- 1:21:14[SPEAKER_01]: middle-class people are hurt, that will show up in the election probably results depending.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Although, you know, it's hard to say because the Democrats are so out there, somebody's candidates, you know, they're kind of shot themselves in the foot a little bit.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_01]: A lot, I should say.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_01]: So I think we muddle through, but we do these are all sort of canaries in a coal mine.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you got a market now.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, people always said, what, why hasn't the market reacted to all this debt as it kept growing?
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_01]: Now, we have historically little interest rates, we've had inflation.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_01]: I was tamed, and then it doesn't sometimes.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, one of the, it's interesting.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_01]: The best book I've ever read about markets was from, by George Soros.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was called the Age of Turbulence.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_01]: And he talked about, he's a really smart market guy, and they could see how best it learned from him.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_01]: And others like Stan Drucker Miller, who's in the, it's a good story at the time, he's, he's excuse me, the journal editorial page.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: Stan was the other top.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_01]: a trader for Soros back in the day and stand a tax vessent today in the Wall Street Journal a bit, which I think you should read about his intervention.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_01]: That being said, you know, the soros in what's standing, but vessent knows is that markets are hurts and it just takes one thing or it's several things sometimes, it's just a kind of
- 1:22:46[SPEAKER_01]: that's something you have to address immediately.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Or, you know, in a coherent way.
- 1:22:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it could be that where they are right now because there's a lot of stuff going on.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_01]: You have an AI build out that is competing with the treasury bond for that investor capital.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we start putting all that together.
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have the number 40 trillion, right?
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of a very number, right?
- 1:23:11[SPEAKER_01]: All this adds up.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then you've got to deal with it.
- 1:23:16[SPEAKER_01]: it gets nasty, and people interest rates can skyrocket even further, you know, and there's a lot of bad stuff that can happen.
- 1:23:23[SPEAKER_01]: We should also point out the US economy's resilient, and here's one thing I would say, Ross, if you're going to put your Chinese, you're going to put your money anywhere in the world, where would you put it?
- 1:23:33[SPEAKER_00]: Me personally, a panic express.
- 1:23:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's just if I'm Chinese though, okay?
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that stuff once.
- 1:23:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that good.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_00]: But if I'm Chinese, yeah, all my money is going to a pan express all over the nation and I let live pandas cook to the customers and I think that would bring in a lot of people.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's something I haven't seen in a very long time.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_01]: At least you could go upscale to PF tanks.
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I look, I love a good changer as much as the next person do.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm in the Atlanta airport, yeah, I'll rock it.
- 1:24:04[SPEAKER_00]: There's not what near me.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_00]: But even a PF tank is gone up in price for Christ's sake.
- 1:24:11[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, we're on that, we're on that panic.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Express budget trying to work back up to the PF tanks budgets on the weekends here.
- 1:24:18[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, what is China going to do?
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to keep investing in the U.S. See, that's where we sort of have this advantage where it prevents the army getting, is that we are still the safe haven for the world, the matter which way to put it.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're Japanese and you're like, or even so easy, you really want to put your money in China.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_01]: But what China has no law, there's no contract law, right?
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they can steal your assets.
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of what benefits us, you know what I'm saying, is that we are the reserve currency.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're the reserve currency at the end of the day, and I think we'll be all right.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm with you.
- 1:24:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll kind of slog through this.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_00]: My prediction is Republicans maintain the Senate.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_00]: We lose Congress, and then obviously Trump is still in there, and then we'll see how this all plays out for 28.
- 1:25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Newsome.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_00]: I could see those retards voting for him.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas AOC, nobody will ever stomach that.
- 1:25:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm donny, nobody will ever stomach.
- 1:25:18[SPEAKER_00]: I can't run anyways, because enough from here.
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_00]: But one of these more extreme candidates, no way, have fun if they rerun.
- 1:25:24[SPEAKER_00]: Kamal, again, greats that would benefit us.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I think we're in for a period of slog, just kind of making it through the day.
- 1:25:35[SPEAKER_00]: for the next, you know, five, six months, hopefully this improves by the spring or something drastically changes over an Iran.
- 1:25:42[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're a busy guy, and I know you're slam.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Now's the point.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_00]: The show we get to the drinking bro of the week.
- 1:25:47[SPEAKER_00]: Who would you like to give the drinking bro of the week to?
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody who has inspired you or helps you become the person you are today.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus.
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Oh Jesus Christ, that's a great one.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, our Lord and Savior, through Him, anything is possible.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, way to go, Charlie, way to go.
- 1:26:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in with Jesus.
- 1:26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Praise the Lord.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_01]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_01]: When I mean that, I mean that's sincerely, you know?
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_00]: Look, we, we need it right now and maybe he'll come back down and fix the Iran shit, okay?
- 1:26:17[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_01]: I get in my hands every, and I get in my knees every day and pray to the good Lord, and that's true.
- 1:26:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and look, I'm on my knees every day, it's for a different reason.
- 1:26:27[SPEAKER_00]: 18% gay and I get a, you know, gay lover Jeremy, I've got a surprise.
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_01]: I want to, you know, I, I wanted to make sure you understood exactly why was on my knees, if you know, so,
- 1:26:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes, you were you were very clear about it, but I also want to make it clear to you Charlie that's I do have to service my day my gay lover Jeremy he could love Charlie love his love
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's read the word.
- 1:26:52[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate you being on today.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_00]: Check out Charlie's piece in the New York Post and regard to Scott Bessons in the end.
- 1:27:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great read.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're a fantastic dude and, you know, look forward to watching you for many many years on television, my friend.
- 1:27:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I look forward to listening to you guys.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_01]: You guys get me to every workout.
- 1:27:11[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate it.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_00]: I look very tired.
- 1:27:13[SPEAKER_00]: I remember one was interesting to get through that workout on that stuff.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're welcome.
- 1:27:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's luck.
- 1:27:20[SPEAKER_00]: That explosive diarrhea is part of the experience of Taco Bell and, you know, them coming out around the nation.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_00]: So, so what?
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I signed up for.
- 1:27:29[SPEAKER_00]: I know that I'm getting diarrhea at Taco Bell for Christ 6.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.
- 1:27:34[SPEAKER_00]: Both for.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's a guy ready.
- 1:27:37[SPEAKER_00]: It cleaned you.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Sure is.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Full set.
- 1:27:40[SPEAKER_00]: Go to iTunes, right?
- 1:27:41[SPEAKER_00]: The show of five star and leave a quick review.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Spotify still putting up some videos.
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_00]: They're close to the end.
- 1:27:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then we got a pending deal with iTunes here.
- 1:27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Video wise on the table.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_00]: Looking forward to that in the fall.
- 1:27:56[SPEAKER_00]: Charlie, appreciate the time.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_00]: Workin' everybody.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_00]: Find you.
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on Fox Business, not this week, my Twitter, New York Post, my own podcast, I have a Python.
- 1:28:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting, sure.
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's very, it's about stocks.
- 1:28:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's called the risk and return podcast.
- 1:28:12[SPEAKER_01]: I do a partner named Bob Sloan from S3 Partners and we, uh,
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, if you want to trade stocks and invest, it's actually good.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_01]: We keep the political stuff to a minimum.
- 1:28:24[SPEAKER_01]: No explosive diuretics on the first can return podcasts by the way.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, unless you go to a recession, then you're going to eat, which you eat, but you're fucked.
- 1:28:34[SPEAKER_00]: You're eating beans all day out of a can.
- 1:28:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be the next logical step.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to be painting that
- 1:28:43[SPEAKER_01]: I did that.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_01]: We've all been there, come on.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_00]: We've all been there.
- 1:28:46[SPEAKER_01]: We've all been there.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's it's fine.
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'll let you go back to unpacking.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you tuning in for Charlie Gasparino.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Ross Patterson.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Drinking Rose podcast.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_00]: Good night everyone.
