- 0:04Welcome in to a very exciting episode of the scene.
- 0:07I'm your host, Bubba Starts, and with me today is Anthony of East of Anthony.
- 0:11Welcome to the show, brother.
- 0:13Thanks for having me, man.
- 0:15Well, before we get too far down the road here, let you go ahead and and kind of, give us a
- 0:21short, history of, yourself and the band, and then we'll talk about everything you guys got
- 0:26going on now.
- 0:30Yeah.
- 0:30So it really started during COVID.
- 0:35Probably me, like a lot of people, decided that, hey.
- 0:39I'm gonna write some music.
- 0:41I've got nothing else to do.
- 0:43And I do art too, and I was doing some art, some live on Instagram is really how it all
- 0:52started.
- 0:54And Instagram kept blocking my the music I had in the background, copywriting it.
- 0:59So I started making my own music just to feed in the background while I did my art.
- 1:05And one day, was like, hey.
- 1:07That's catchy.
- 1:09Think I'm gonna put some lyrics to it.
- 1:12And next thing I know, I was writing a song and a song and a song.
- 1:16And I've played for years, but as far as performing and, like, actually taking that
- 1:22extra step to perform was something I had always wanted to do.
- 1:27I just never took the step.
- 1:30I guess you'd say circumstances weren't right.
- 1:33So it was 2000 around 02/2021, decided, yeah, I'm gonna start I wanna perform and, you know,
- 1:42you start building the set list, things like that, and trying to get gigs.
- 1:48It was a it's a slow process, but here we are.
- 1:51This is, yeah, 02/2025.
- 1:54I gradually have built a band in 02/2023.
- 2:00Towards the end of twenty three, I met Zach.
- 2:04He's my bass player.
- 2:07He was at one of our shows, me and my previously guitarist, Steven.
- 2:13He it was just me and him for a little bit.
- 2:17And we were just kinda like a duo.
- 2:19And we were doing a show, and he he loved our music.
- 2:24And he said and so I asked him, like, hey.
- 2:26You know, wanna play bass?
- 2:28We need bass player.
- 2:29And so then we were a trio, and then we met our our drummer that we had before.
- 2:37I actually just sent him our new album to give him me.
- 2:41He's getting the listen to it before anybody else.
- 2:46He was our drummer, Jordan.
- 2:50And Jordan had a foot injury this past year.
- 2:53We met Todd.
- 2:54He was gonna fill in.
- 2:56And so the rest is kinda history.
- 2:59Todd remained our new drummer.
- 3:02We all gel really good.
- 3:04That was a four piece at the time.
- 3:06It was me and Zach, and then Walker.
- 3:08Walker's our lead guitarist now.
- 3:10And we met Walker through last year, we did the there's a big the big eclipse.
- 3:18There's an eclipse festival we all were at and met Walker, his family.
- 3:24And so he joined.
- 3:26And I I, you know, I just asked.
- 3:28I I people liked our music, so I would just ask, hey.
- 3:31I need, you know, I need this.
- 3:32I need that.
- 3:33You wanna join?
- 3:34And they're like, yeah.
- 3:34Sure.
- 3:35You know?
- 3:35And so so here we are, and we're a really, you know, pretty tight knit group.
- 3:42Zach's sister-in-law, she's the newest member.
- 3:46If you listen to our latest single, Save Yourself, she's the one in that song.
- 3:53And so after we recorded that song in studio, everybody was like I think it was our drummer
- 4:01Todd.
- 4:02Todd's like, hey.
- 4:05What if we asked her to join the band?
- 4:08You know?
- 4:08I he just he had this vision, this idea of other songs with her.
- 4:12I'm like, dude, I'm like, me too.
- 4:15I I hear it.
- 4:16I I already have some songs in mind that are on the shelf I call I have this, like, figurative
- 4:21shelf of songs that aren't finished.
- 4:24And I'm like, I hear her vocals on it.
- 4:27So Zach was all for it, my bass player, his her brother-in-law.
- 4:32So he was all for it.
- 4:33So now we're five piece.
- 4:35So the the small paying gigs have just gotten even smaller.
- 4:42We'll all make about $20 a gig now.
- 4:45No.
- 4:46We have we're we're we're super happy to have her on.
- 4:51She's been she's been looking for a project like this.
- 4:54And it was funny.
- 4:55I was looking for female vocalists for about two months for this song that it was finished.
- 5:06We were in studio.
- 5:07We had recorded some of it.
- 5:09And I was on TikTok and I would do my TikTok stuff.
- 5:13And if I knew a vocalist on there, would ask, hey, would you be interested in just laying
- 5:19down vocals on this this song?
- 5:22And I found a couple of girls that were, like had good vocals.
- 5:27They just weren't that they didn't just, like, hit you like, okay.
- 5:30Yeah.
- 5:30This is the one.
- 5:32And then I was on Facebook and and and there's London.
- 5:37And I didn't know if she's related to Zach yet or not.
- 5:41So I asked her, said, hey.
- 5:44Your vocals are perfect, I think, for this song.
- 5:46Would you be interested?
- 5:48Swear I'm not a creep, you know.
- 5:51And so the rest is history kind of.
- 5:55And it's what's funny is Zach's like, oh, yeah.
- 5:58London can sing, you know?
- 6:00Now you tell me.
- 6:02Now you tell me.
- 6:03And so it was a funny this funny, you know, story about how it kinda happened.
- 6:08So
- 6:09Well, and it's all it's all been totally organic, it feels like.
- 6:13You know?
- 6:13You you start off, and it just keeps kinda growing and building very naturally and with
- 6:19the people that are already attracted to the music.
- 6:23And I think that's a really cool thing is that, y'all have kinda come together because of your
- 6:28songs and because of others' affinity for them that they're like, yeah.
- 6:33I'd love to play these songs with you.
- 6:35And as a songwriter myself, I mean, that's gotta feel really awesome for you to, just sit
- 6:41back and have other people that are willing to, you know, invest in you and invest in your your
- 6:46music.
- 6:46And, is there has there been an evolution of the songwriting process now over the course of
- 6:52the last five years?
- 6:53Are you kinda writing with the core members of the group, or is it still mostly you kinda
- 6:58bringing in songs and and maybe there's some tweaks to certain things?
- 7:04I'd say we're so we just finished, our professional studio album.
- 7:11It it drops Friday.
- 7:12It's that's how fresh it is.
- 7:14And, like, I I love the fact that we're we're doing this today because it drops the
- 7:19thirteenth.
- 7:20So the singles are already out there, but now you get to listen to it altogether as one full
- 7:27album.
- 7:29And but to answer your question, yeah, it was basically me bringing in, hey.
- 7:34Here's another song I wrote.
- 7:36Hey.
- 7:36Here's another song I wrote.
- 7:37And then Todd, you know, or whoever's on the drums before, hey.
- 7:41Yeah.
- 7:41I'm gonna do this.
- 7:42Cool.
- 7:43Sounds great.
- 7:45Zach, it's always great on bass to just whip out a bass line, and I'm like, yeah.
- 7:49Dude, it's perfect.
- 7:50You know?
- 7:51And I try to let them have as much almost a 100% leeway as they can or as they want on
- 8:01songs.
- 8:01Because I want it to come natural to them.
- 8:05And I really a 100%, I don't think I've ever really just said, no.
- 8:09I don't like that.
- 8:10Do it my way.
- 8:11You know?
- 8:11I feel like if you give your band that freedom to do that, to express themselves on songs,
- 8:20unless it's just really out there that changes the dynamic of your sound or something, you
- 8:26know, that'd be different.
- 8:27But they put their own spin on stuff.
- 8:31I love it.
- 8:32And then our producer, he takes what we give him.
- 8:36I I usually send him demos.
- 8:38He puts his own spin on it.
- 8:40He always asks, hey.
- 8:41Do you care if I give a little freedom here?
- 8:44And I'm like, dude, I can't wait to hear it.
- 8:47And so far, me and Jeremy have been just right there on every song.
- 8:54So as of this weekend, we had a we had kind of a a big band weekend because our our show
- 9:00canceled.
- 9:01We had a big show scheduled this weekend past weekend and their AC went out.
- 9:07And, you know, it's real hot in Arkansas.
- 9:10About to find out, man.
- 9:11I'm going to Little Rock next week.
- 9:13I right?
- 9:14Yeah.
- 9:15So it's it's indeed hot, man.
- 9:18Shorts, sandals, for sure.
- 9:22The beer hat.
- 9:23I don't know if something's keeping cool.
- 9:26So we we just we're all like, hey.
- 9:28Let's just hang out at the house this weekend.
- 9:32We got more big we got, especially next week, some big shows coming up.
- 9:36Let's practice for hers and just chill out.
- 9:40And so some of that writing process that you were talking about started happening this
- 9:45weekend, which I've wanted to for a while.
- 9:49We were just kind of rounding out that out we're finishing the album.
- 9:54Right.
- 9:54You were you were focused on on another project.
- 9:57And now that that's finished, you have a little bit of freedom of time and and create
- 10:02creativity to to go and pursue the next phase, man.
- 10:06Is really awesome.
- 10:08Yeah.
- 10:09I tell you what, this, in this song that Todd it was Sunday morning.
- 10:14Todd just over here doing triplets on drums.
- 10:19And I'm like, what are you doing?
- 10:22He said, just exercise.
- 10:23It's an exercise.
- 10:24I said, keep doing it.
- 10:26I grabbed my electric guitar real quick.
- 10:28And through a just a riff came out of nowhere, just pulled it out of my butt.
- 10:34And, I mean, this might be who knows?
- 10:39I keep saying this this will be our best song yet.
- 10:41You know?
- 10:41You never know.
- 10:42But it was cool to have that finally happen where I didn't start the song.
- 10:50That was all Todd.
- 10:51I'm like, dude, that was all you that turned into the riff that, you know, I created.
- 10:56If only Zach was here, you know, someone else could throw down, Vin May the cherry on top,
- 11:03you know.
- 11:04So that was the
- 11:06time that somebody else kinda brought the seed.
- 11:08Right?
- 11:09Yeah.
- 11:09That that you've been bringing your packs of seeds to it and going, well, here I have this.
- 11:13Let's water it.
- 11:14Now the seed was kinda brought from somewhere else, and you got a chance to kinda be the
- 11:20watering can instead of the sower.
- 11:22And I got from a from a songwriter's perspective, that's gotta be really cool, man.
- 11:27It was it was cool to finally sit back and and just throw your stuff, you know, or, you know,
- 11:35what am I trying to say, jump in on a song and not feel like it's always all about you.
- 11:41That's what I always hate.
- 11:42I always tell the band, it's not always about me or I don't ever want to be that.
- 11:47And when you're, like, the sole songwriter, I I guess I tend to feel that way sometimes.
- 11:51Like, I always have to reiterate to the band, like, you guys always put your input.
- 11:57Tell me whatever, you know?
- 11:58You're not gonna bother.
- 11:59Don't feel like just because I wrote the song that, you know so I want them to have that
- 12:04freedom.
- 12:05So it was cool for Todd.
- 12:07Now this it's Todd's song, basically, which it'll become the band's.
- 12:13But it was so cool for him to do that, and then we we have a new song.
- 12:18I threw my phone down real quick, hit record so we wouldn't forget it, and, it's just cool that
- 12:25it worked out that way finally.
- 12:26You know?
- 12:29Well and you guys are just getting started.
- 12:31It seems like you got a really awesome thing going on.
- 12:34And, yeah, it just keeps, just kinda going where it's gonna go anyway.
- 12:39Right?
- 12:39It doesn't feel like anything has been forced.
- 12:42It doesn't, at least from the outside here, talking to you today, it seems like kind of the
- 12:50dream of how every band should start, right, of of growing in that way and and then, getting to
- 12:56to make music with some really awesome people, which it sounds like you got around you.
- 13:00I it's a dream, man.
- 13:01It's the dream of every songwriter, I think, to have their songs kind of brought to life, with
- 13:08other musicians.
- 13:10My my path is is very much the same but different.
- 13:14Right?
- 13:15I I've just played with a lot more people.
- 13:17Right?
- 13:18I've been putting the bands together for the last twenty years.
- 13:20I've played with all kinds of different parts.
- 13:22So I have all these original songs that I've written, and I've pretty much been playing the
- 13:26same batch of songs, but they've all come out in different expressions because I'm not coming
- 13:33in and going, you have to play it just like this.
- 13:35It's like, no.
- 13:36You know, what they did is what they did, and and what you're gonna bring to this song are is
- 13:41different, and that's fine.
- 13:43That's the way that it should be.
- 13:44So, yeah, how fun to, you know, spend the last several years of your life just kind of
- 13:50watching this all happen in real time.
- 13:53And now y'all got an album coming out, Friday the thirteenth, And, let let's talk a little
- 13:59bit about the songs on the album.
- 14:01How many songs are are coming out on this one?
- 14:05It's 10.
- 14:07Where's my I got a CD CD somewhere.
- 14:09Is it 10?
- 14:10Yeah.
- 14:10I usually do 11.
- 14:12I know on my past albums, I try to keep I try to do about 11.
- 14:16And then we dropped an EP.
- 14:19A couple months ago, we dropped an EP, which that EP was is what made up the part of this
- 14:25album.
- 14:26So, yeah, 10 songs.
- 14:28It was at yeah.
- 14:30Eight, four and four, and then our producer did an instrumental for us for a show.
- 14:39I wanted a walk on instrumental.
- 14:43And we actually we liked it so much, we put it at the beginning of the album as an intro.
- 14:49Killer.
- 14:50So we have that.
- 14:52And then Remember Me is a song that's a song that really kinda took off.
- 15:04It was on my album.
- 15:06And for being in the bedroom, lo fi, and me recording, doing all that, I tell people it's
- 15:13the blind squirrel finding the nut, you know.
- 15:15It turned out good enough where people came back and kept listening to it till it I think
- 15:21it's at it's at, like, 2,500 streams.
- 15:24Nothing major, but for, like, a bedroom recording and people that do know our music go,
- 15:30oh, yeah.
- 15:30You don't remember me.
- 15:32So what we did, we remastered it.
- 15:35I let and I let Jeremy have free reign with it.
- 15:41And so this is his mix.
- 15:42So you'll see on the album, it's the last song on the album.
- 15:45It says Remember Me, Jeremy Huddleston mix.
- 15:49So that's the that's the album.
- 15:5310 songs.
- 15:54We do have the song on there, Higher Ground, is getting about a 100 streams a day.
- 16:02Awesome.
- 16:03It's it's at 20 I think as of today, 22,000 streams between all the three major, like,
- 16:14streaming services.
- 16:16So it's I don't know what's gonna happen with that, you know.
- 16:21I feel like the right person hears that song, who knows, you know.
- 16:25But Higher Ground is is really doing good.
- 16:30It's kinda set and it kinda set the kind of the feel for what we're what we've kinda become, I
- 16:42guess, as musically.
- 16:45I mean, I I was always that musically, but it's like we kind of are continuing that direction
- 16:52still.
- 16:52And now we have well, now we have London and her vocals, so we're gonna that's gonna change
- 16:57things.
- 16:58Save Yourself is on that album.
- 17:00Save Yourself features London.
- 17:03And, man, it's a it's a good song.
- 17:06With her vocals in it, it just took it to another level.
- 17:09In fact, I feel like it took this the album to another level.
- 17:13So it's a I think it's a good listen.
- 17:16It was cool to release them as singles What I did since December of twenty four, I released
- 17:25New Messiah, which is the song on the album.
- 17:30And then each month, I released a single until this month.
- 17:37And then it all came together to become one album.
- 17:40So and now it's just a full listen.
- 17:44That's awesome.
- 17:45It's something that I'm kinda working towards.
- 17:48I made an album, oh, fifteen years ago.
- 17:52And, you know, just kinda rushed through it, and it was something that at the end of the
- 17:56day, while I was proud of the songs, we didn't take our time like we should have.
- 18:01And now I've gotten a chance to take a few of these songs and some new ones that I've written
- 18:06back in the studio, more recently.
- 18:08And, just doing, like, a a four song EP, but got some great players on it.
- 18:14You know, pretty much recorded the bass and drum tracks, within a couple of takes live in
- 18:19the studio and just cranked it all out and have slowly kind of built this thing, but it's the
- 18:24best work I've ever done.
- 18:25And I and I can't be more proud of it, and that's just kind of working with people that I
- 18:31don't work with on a regular basis, guys that I know and I've gotten to know well, but they're
- 18:36in the Rapid City, South Dakota area.
- 18:38I'm five hours east of there.
- 18:40Right?
- 18:40So we all kinda got together.
- 18:42So I I I've experienced this a little bit lately on maybe a smaller scale because I think
- 18:48when you're able to share that experience with people, close to you, and not just necessarily
- 18:55that, you know, that you're friends with, but you're seeing each other all the time.
- 18:58Right?
- 18:58You're regularly getting together for brand practice, and you're able to share in that
- 19:02excitement.
- 19:03I think it can really, I think it really amplify that energy, right, and can really
- 19:11propel you towards even greater and and newer things.
- 19:15And it feels like with kind of the late addition of London to the album and to the, to
- 19:21the band that you kind of, you know, quickly close that chapter.
- 19:27Right?
- 19:27Let's put this one out here, and let's get to work on some new stuff and and see where the
- 19:32evolution continues to go for this band.
- 19:35Is there a name of the album?
- 19:38Yeah.
- 19:38It's called The Divide.
- 19:41Yep.
- 19:42It'll it'll and you'll see our tiger I don't know if you've seen our tiger hang hang on.
- 19:48Let me get it here.
- 19:55So our our Tiger logo, that's our main brand.
- 20:01You're you're gonna see it.
- 20:03You if you haven't been seeing it for the past three years, you're gonna you're gonna see it
- 20:08for the next whatever, you know, till this is done.
- 20:11But I don't know if you can kinda see the
- 20:15Yeah.
- 20:15That's awesome.
- 20:17The double tigers.
- 20:18So that Jeremy kind of enhanced our main logo.
- 20:24So when you go to the Spotify or wherever you you see this oh, there it is.
- 20:31There's the there's the original one right there.
- 20:34Epic.
- 20:36So that and that logo is to represent the fact that we are kind of a heavy band.
- 20:46We do heavy and then we we write some very kind of softer material.
- 20:54So and it's also a nod to something else personal that people who know me know a
- 21:02situation.
- 21:03It's a nod to that.
- 21:05Those two tigers, the balance and the imbalance and all.
- 21:09So it's a nod or a playoff of that.
- 21:13But for the most part, we're a we're a hard rock band.
- 21:17We're not metal, but we're a hard rock band.
- 21:21But at the same time, there's there's this like, fake faces on there.
- 21:26It's very it it's you'll hear it when you get a chance.
- 21:29It's very acoustic.
- 21:31It hits you at the end.
- 21:32Don't get me wrong.
- 21:33That ending is is epic.
- 21:35It hits you at the end, but that's kind of what what we are and what we're gonna continue to
- 21:41be.
- 21:43And I feel like in today's music with music, you you you can be whatever you want when you
- 21:50want.
- 21:52As long as it works and meshes well.
- 21:55I don't think you need to be all over the place.
- 21:58But I grew up, you know, grew up hearing bands do it too, like Alice in Chains and Sound Guard
- 22:07and different bands that were very hard rock, almost metal.
- 22:11And then, you know, they drop an EP like Jar of Flies, if you know anything about, you know,
- 22:17Alice in Chains.
- 22:18And so that's kind of the mentality I've had with all of this.
- 22:23The and the the band's always been on board with the the the group.
- 22:27So that's kind of what we are.
- 22:29That's where that logo comes into play.
- 22:33And you'll hear that in the song.
- 22:35So but, yeah, that's what it'll look like.
- 22:38To get back to your question, so Friday, that's what you'll that's what you'll look for is that
- 22:46new kind of I don't know if he AI ed it or what, but he took he took what I sent him and
- 22:52did that.
- 22:53I was like, man, that is that's pretty cool.
- 22:55He he's like, can it can it be the album cover?
- 22:58I'm like, yes.
- 22:59I love it.
- 23:00So it just it made it it was still us, but it was oh, he's put the split down.
- 23:07That's right.
- 23:07He put the divide because of the name of the album.
- 23:12That's right.
- 23:12So you see the split actually happening there in right there in that picture.
- 23:17That's right.
- 23:18You see the actual, like, split.
- 23:21So that was all Jeremy.
- 23:22Jeremy, a producer, I joke with him, you need to join the band because he's got his
- 23:27fingerprint on so much of our music.
- 23:33Right.
- 23:34He's not he's much less an outside influence than an inside influence now.
- 23:40Yeah.
- 23:41And he'll take stuff, like, when I we go in the studio and he sends me, you know, the take of
- 23:47what he's, you know, put together.
- 23:50I do.
- 23:51I give him liberties.
- 23:53And, you know, if we if we meet again and talk more in the future here, You know, we can talk
- 24:01about that more where I'll tell you, like, I'll say, hey, did you hey, did you listen to this
- 24:06song?
- 24:07Okay.
- 24:07So in that song, that's all Jeremy.
- 24:10Like, Jeremy, you know, he'll take a riff.
- 24:12Like, he'll take my riff, like, on Save Yourself.
- 24:15I thought the riff was already cool.
- 24:18And he took it, he goes, what do you think we did, you know, this?
- 24:23It's so simple.
- 24:24I said, oh my gosh.
- 24:26It took it to another level.
- 24:28And so I love the fact that he's in tune with us like that, in tune with me.
- 24:34I tell him, I'm like, I don't don't know what I'm gonna do if you die, man.
- 24:40Because we're we're just I don't I don't wanna work with anybody else really, you know.
- 24:46That's how gelled and in sync we have been with with this.
- 24:53So a lot of what you see in this album or hear, there's a lot.
- 24:59There's he's in the mix.
- 25:01No pun intended.
- 25:02But he that was a good one.
- 25:06But he's in the mix to the point I joke all the time, just join the band.
- 25:10Come on.
- 25:11Just join the band.
- 25:13So it's it's been really cool again going back to your you saying how it kind of just
- 25:19spontaneously happened.
- 25:20Even with Jeremy finding him, just happened.
- 25:25Just happened.
- 25:26I was looking for other producers and just found him.
- 25:30It just kinda fell on our laps.
- 25:32Well, and that's what kinda makes it feel like, you know, without being overly religious, but
- 25:37it makes it feel like a god thing.
- 25:38Right?
- 25:39It it makes it feel like it's definitely out of your control what is happening when it all just
- 25:44fits together so perfectly.
- 25:47Right?
- 25:48A lot of the same projects, I give credit to something much larger because it's like,
- 25:52couldn't I couldn't have planned this.
- 25:54I couldn't not even on my best days could I have planned what has transpired in the last,
- 26:00you know, fourteen months of doing this podcast, and, you know, my music has kind of
- 26:05been following suit now as well.
- 26:07So, Anthony, man, pleasure getting to know you today.
- 26:11Can't wait to listen to the album, everyone.
- 26:13That is called the divide from East of Anthony.
- 26:16It's gonna be available everywhere on streaming.
- 26:19You guys printing CDs too?
- 26:21Yeah.
- 26:21Making CDs, merch is fixing to hit the fan.
- 26:27So, yeah, we had lot of merch.
- 26:29We had we had a we had a good stack in about was it a month ago?
- 26:34Two months ago now, we sold out of all our merch. It
- 26:38It was a really small it was in small intimate show, and they just wiped us out.
- 26:43And so we're just now getting, you know, financially where we can get some more merch
- 26:47together.
- 26:48Yeah.
- 26:49We'll have merch, where you can get it online, all that kind of stuff.
- 26:53Yep.
- 26:53There you go.
- 26:53You're you're becoming a real band right before our eyes.
- 26:57Yeah.
- 26:58Go check out the album.
- 26:59Would love to I don't know what kind of music, you know, you make or into, but love would love
- 27:04to hear your your take on.
- 27:06Yeah.
- 27:06Well and we do some, album and song reviews, through our blog and website, and we're
- 27:11building a a lot bigger thing.
- 27:13You know?
- 27:13To date, the the podcast has been, you know, mostly just interviews.
- 27:17We've done a few songwriter showcases that we filmed, and now we're working on, actually,
- 27:22when we come to Little Rock, we're doing a showcase for our summer mixtape.
- 27:26So a chance for artists to come in, put their best song forward, perform it live for a live
- 27:31audience, and for myself, right, the executive producer of the scene projects.
- 27:37And, yeah, to give people a chance to be a part of like, everyone can be a part of it no matter
- 27:42what, but for the cream to rise to the top and to have some of these you know, we're doing
- 27:48some contests and different things because, before I won, you know, the content creator of
- 27:53the year award back in April, I didn't think that winning anything in the music business was
- 27:57it really meant anything.
- 27:59And and since I've started opening every conversation with, oh, my name is Bubba Starts,
- 28:03and I have an award winning podcast, and watching the doors that that has opened, I
- 28:08realized that now we kinda have some of that to give to other artists, whether they're just
- 28:13starting out or they've been doing this for twenty years.
- 28:17We have something to offer in the way of our name carrying a little bit of weight in
- 28:22whatever small music community that we're building right now.
- 28:26But I would love to listen to the album.
- 28:28I can't wait to listen to it.
- 28:30I'll be coming through Arkansas real soon.
- 28:33I don't know exactly where y'all are at, but I'll throw up a peace sign on my way through.
- 28:37And, hopefully, we get to hook up, real soon, man.
- 28:41Yeah.
- 28:41Love it.
- 28:42Love it.
- 28:43Yep.
- 28:43Awesome.
- 28:44Well, Anthony, thanks for being part of the scene, brother.
- 28:47Thank you, man.
- 28:48Thank you for what you're doing.
