- 0:01Speaker 1: The blaze in Confused. Podcast is rated M for marijuana
- 0:04Speaker 1: no minors, but your audience is only all right? Does
- 0:09Speaker 1: everybody's ears sound good and everything? Yes? I'm good? Okay,
- 0:12Speaker 1: what is it too dark for you? Can you not
- 0:14Speaker 1: see a little hard in your eyes?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Look at this? We shut up. I don't even want
- 0:18Speaker 1: to talk about this, I do.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We just closed the We close the blinds, here the curtains,
- 0:23Speaker 3: and Becker gets out his flashlight to read the paper
- 0:26Speaker 3: in front of him.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Listen, as you get older, it's a little bit more difficult.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Are you eligible for AARP? You know?
- 0:35Speaker 3: If you call the number on the screen, they'll send
- 0:36Speaker 3: you a light up radio and a flash oile.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Oh really? Yeah? And what I can't read the screen
- 0:40Speaker 1: and one of those gripper things too? Oh cool? So
- 0:43Speaker 1: because I can read stuff? Yeah?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah, so you can sit down and get the box
- 0:47Speaker 3: of cereal on the top cabinet.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Which I you ever see those those commercials? I always wonder. Okay,
- 0:52Speaker 3: here you are, Frank, you're sitting in a wheelchair. How
- 0:55Speaker 3: the hell did the cereal get on the top shelf?
- 0:57Speaker 1: To begin with? How would you put it up there?
- 0:59Speaker 1: To begin with? Is there anything he could do to
- 1:00Speaker 1: make him a little less annoying.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Oh, clear the negative energy that does.
- 1:08Speaker 1: You need a lot more bells than that.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Your dog have a bell? Does your dog wear a bell?
- 1:14Speaker 1: She does not know?
- 1:15Speaker 4: You should put a bell on her? And then when
- 1:17Speaker 4: she runs around?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Shell?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Just clear all the negative energy?
- 1:19Speaker 1: What from the ghosts from you? The negative energy from me?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Don't I'm easy going? Yeah exactly. I do think I'm
- 1:31Speaker 3: very easy going.
- 1:32Speaker 4: You think that I do.
- 1:34Speaker 3: And then people disagree with me, and I'm I don't
- 1:36Speaker 3: want to you yell at them. I don't want to
- 1:37Speaker 3: say I'm offended when people don't agree that I'm easy going.
- 1:41Speaker 4: But you know you're offended, No, which means you're not
- 1:44Speaker 4: easy going, which it.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Throws me for a whirl sometimes.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Yeah, because you're high strong.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I said that to him the other day.
- 1:51Speaker 5: I use those words and he goes, I don't know
- 1:53Speaker 5: what you're talking about.
- 1:55Speaker 4: You right?
- 1:55Speaker 1: No, No, No, here's the thing. Here's the thing you say.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I yell.
- 1:58Speaker 3: This is just how I talk. It's not like I'm
- 2:00Speaker 3: yelling like I'm malicious about it. Fuck you, I just
- 2:03Speaker 3: I'm naturally I talk loud. It's not that I'm yelling passionate, sure, pasionate.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Sure.
- 2:08Speaker 5: You know what I read this week that cows have
- 2:10Speaker 5: best friends and when they're separated from them, they get
- 2:13Speaker 5: like stressed out and sad. Like the opposite happens with
- 2:16Speaker 5: me and Joel, though when I'm around him, he stresses me.
- 2:18Speaker 1: The fuck out.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Funny guy, because he's too high strung, high strung anyway,
- 2:24Speaker 5: Maybe you can help with that today.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, ring the bell? Yeah, yeah, it can be.
- 2:29Speaker 4: A lot of bell ringing today, I think.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he sings that the Eagles, I know. I knew
- 2:36Speaker 3: that too, do you. We're going to start the trivia early.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Name me three members of the band the Eagle.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not doing it now. Three members of the
- 2:44Speaker 1: band the Eagles.
- 2:45Speaker 5: Come on, you can do it, Lifeline Lee, no idea,
- 2:48Speaker 5: come on, three band members of the Eagles.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You can do it.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Is one name Joe Don Something. Then Don Something is
- 2:55Speaker 3: another one there there there's two. There's two and Lebowski.
- 3:00Speaker 4: No, he hates.
- 3:00Speaker 5: The even the big Lebowski.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I never seen it, never seen it. What's the
- 3:07Speaker 1: other one? Joe? Is it? Joe wal Joe Walsh very good?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Was the the one you said?
- 3:11Speaker 4: Don Henley?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Don Henley very good, give me one more, Come on,
- 3:15Speaker 1: one more. He died like.
- 3:17Speaker 3: The big guy like that, the main singer, not big
- 3:20Speaker 3: like fat big, as in like big big name.
- 3:24Speaker 5: It's not gonna come to me. Man, I don't know.
- 3:27Speaker 5: The heat is on was his solo hit from Beverly Hills,
- 3:31Speaker 5: cop wasn't it?
- 3:32Speaker 4: Which I know the song?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Yes, yes, which I've never seen that movie either, but
- 3:35Speaker 3: I know it's from Beverly Hills, Copna.
- 3:42Speaker 5: We're very excited to have a practicing witch's on the show.
- 3:47Speaker 3: So so first off, are you gonna be offended if
- 3:49Speaker 3: I play like spooky music?
- 3:50Speaker 4: Of course?
- 3:51Speaker 2: Not?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Okay, good because you know some people that you know that.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Being said, there we go Halloween time. What does it
- 4:00Speaker 3: mean to be a practicing witch? That's a great question.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Oh good, good, I don't want to like.
- 4:06Speaker 4: So it means a lot of different things to a
- 4:08Speaker 4: lot of people. So it's a very general question. Just
- 4:12Speaker 4: means that you're a witch, right, and you practice in
- 4:16Speaker 4: air quotes, practice makes perfect.
- 4:19Speaker 5: So I was telling him outside before you arrive that
- 4:21Speaker 5: you know, it's always key to be respectful because this
- 4:24Speaker 5: is not just something that you do and you're passionate about,
- 4:27Speaker 5: but it's your religion.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Right, So, and there's you look like you have a question, have.
- 4:33Speaker 1: A lot of questions? Should I keep asking him?
- 4:38Speaker 2: Sure?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Go ahead, a lot of hesitation there. Don't let the
- 4:40Speaker 4: guest speak, Yes, just keep talking. Don't let the guest speak.
- 4:44Speaker 4: That's the way to run a radio show. Go well,
- 4:47Speaker 4: it's a podcast. Excuse me, excuse me? So yeah, it's
- 4:54Speaker 4: a religion for some people. For some people.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Yes, they're like which which read churches?
- 5:01Speaker 3: You know, you go listen to the witch sermon of
- 5:03Speaker 3: the week from the witch reverend.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Like is that you could? If?
- 5:07Speaker 2: That's?
- 5:08Speaker 1: If?
- 5:08Speaker 4: That is usually when somebody says that they're a witch
- 5:10Speaker 4: and that they're a religious witch. Now this is not
- 5:14Speaker 4: one hundred percent of the time, but they may be wickan.
- 5:16Speaker 4: So Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is not. Witchcraft is
- 5:21Speaker 4: the doing of something, and wicca is a religion. Does
- 5:27Speaker 4: that make sense?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:29Speaker 4: So people who are wicked, they have a high priest.
- 5:33Speaker 4: A high priest is so do they go to church?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Sure?
- 5:35Speaker 4: Those people may have a coven and they may meet together. Correct,
- 5:42Speaker 4: don't make fun I don't know what it is.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm asking what this.
- 5:44Speaker 4: A coven is a group of people. Sometimes you know
- 5:47Speaker 4: if they want to be really strict.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Not.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Just to be clear, I'm not Wickan and I'm not
- 5:51Speaker 4: trying to speak for all Wickens or all witches of
- 5:54Speaker 4: any type. So I just want to make that clear.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Go gotcha, because I don't want to find anybody, right,
- 5:59Speaker 4: So some covens it's a group of thirteen that may
- 6:03Speaker 4: or may not be true for every coven.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Okay, like the Lucky number.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Thirteen or unlucky like that movie with Jason.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I've seen that Friday the thirteenth that has nothing to
- 6:14Speaker 4: do without it.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Guys, Okay, it's a good movie anyway.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Anyway, Yeah, same thing.
- 6:25Speaker 4: So actually these saying kill one really. Yes, it's come
- 6:31Speaker 4: out in social media, which you wouldn't know because your
- 6:34Speaker 4: life is better since you've gotten off social media, is
- 6:36Speaker 4: what I've been told.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yes, very true, I've gotten off.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I give it a scroll or two a day, but
- 6:41Speaker 3: you know, significantly less, i'd say.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and we would probably all be better off.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I just say I can't. I can't stand reading
- 6:49Speaker 3: people's bullshit about the politics anymore.
- 6:50Speaker 1: So I just can't do it.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I don't want to know what you think, because I
- 6:54Speaker 3: think less of you once I know what you think,
- 6:56Speaker 3: so I rather not know right.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Sure you want to ring the bell again?
- 7:01Speaker 4: I think I better.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Clear out of hair anyway.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Okay, so I warned you Lee back to the witch
- 7:10Speaker 3: religion things.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Sure, are there brick and mortar which religion? Churches?
- 7:15Speaker 4: Probably not?
- 7:16Speaker 1: No? Are they called a church called the church?
- 7:18Speaker 4: WHOA lots of questions? Okay, would it be called a church?
- 7:21Speaker 4: Probably not. I'm not saying a definite no, because again,
- 7:28Speaker 4: I can't speak for everybody who is a witch. I
- 7:31Speaker 4: can't speak for people who are wick and I have
- 7:35Speaker 4: studied it, but that is not my religion, just like
- 7:37Speaker 4: I can't speak for Catholics. I didn't grow up Catholics,
- 7:40Speaker 4: so I can't speak for that. Do you know what
- 7:41Speaker 4: I'm saying? So there could be a building, a brick
- 7:44Speaker 4: and mortar building, that a certain group does go to
- 7:47Speaker 4: and they do their ceremonies there. But probably nine times
- 7:51Speaker 4: out of ten I'd say no, because usually people who
- 7:54Speaker 4: are into this sort of spiritual practice believe that nature
- 7:58Speaker 4: is the church, so they would more or less go
- 8:01Speaker 4: out into maybe the woods or you've probably heard of
- 8:04Speaker 4: column style.
- 8:05Speaker 3: No, I've never heard of that. It get serious, yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 3: column style. I mean, I have never heard of it.
- 8:11Speaker 3: He's definitely never heard. Are you saying your vocabulary is
- 8:16Speaker 3: better than mine?
- 8:17Speaker 1: No? Probably not really.
- 8:18Speaker 4: But so the Pennsylvania Stonehenge, so column style, Megalithe Park.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You should I have no idea what it?
- 8:25Speaker 4: You should google it. It's awesome.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't get out much.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I mean I could tell, but you like to get
- 8:32Speaker 4: I know Becker likes to go for walks. I do, right,
- 8:34Speaker 4: because the first time we spoke, you were going on
- 8:35Speaker 4: a walk.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Yep.
- 8:36Speaker 4: It's a really nice place. It's a short sort of
- 8:39Speaker 4: a hike. It's in nature. It's not like super hilly
- 8:42Speaker 4: or anything like that. It's a little bit of hilly,
- 8:44Speaker 4: but it's really pretty. There's a lot of large stones,
- 8:48Speaker 4: hence Megalithe Park, hence the Pennsylvania Stonehenge.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 8:52Speaker 4: But my point is people who follow the Druid religion
- 8:56Speaker 4: may go there because it has that stonehenge quality to
- 9:00Speaker 4: it to have their gatherings. So just an example of
- 9:05Speaker 4: what some people may do, go into nature, not necessarily
- 9:08Speaker 4: a brick and mortar.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Be one with the trees.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, for sure, because that's kind of what it is, right,
- 9:13Speaker 5: It's kind of symbolic and more nature more nature based,
- 9:17Speaker 5: 're based, I should say yea, yeah, so you're not
- 9:20Speaker 5: a Wickan, not Wika, but you're a person who practices
- 9:24Speaker 5: and has studied witchcraft.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Yes, so I like to think of myself as just
- 9:29Speaker 4: pagan cool. Okay, I wouldn't like I said, I wouldn't
- 9:33Speaker 4: say that I'm Wickan because that so I studied that.
- 9:36Speaker 4: I think most people who start out on this path
- 9:41Speaker 4: probably fall into the Wickan rabbit hole in the beginning
- 9:44Speaker 4: because it's the most accessible and you start to read
- 9:48Speaker 4: those books and learn those things, and it's sort of
- 9:51Speaker 4: your introduction to spell casting and stuff like that, and
- 9:54Speaker 4: it's exciting and it's new and it's different, and it
- 9:57Speaker 4: feels a little naughty. Maybe you know, he grew up
- 9:59Speaker 4: like you know, in the Christian churches. Okay, this maybe
- 10:03Speaker 4: feels a little naughty, like you're doing something. But Wika
- 10:07Speaker 4: is very much like Christian religion in the sense of
- 10:13Speaker 4: there's rules and they're you know, there's just the way.
- 10:16Speaker 4: It's very ceremonial and it's very you have to do
- 10:19Speaker 4: this this way. Again, making a generalization, I don't want
- 10:22Speaker 4: anyone to get mad. I don't want you guys to
- 10:24Speaker 4: get comments okay at all. But so I'm just making
- 10:28Speaker 4: generalization here. But so that's what WICCA is is kind
- 10:32Speaker 4: of like it's very sort of this is what you
- 10:35Speaker 4: have to do.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And how long have you been practicing this?
- 10:37Speaker 4: Over? Thirty years?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Thirty years? Wow?
- 10:40Speaker 5: And have have you gotten some good?
- 10:42Speaker 4: Like?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Is there anything you could share, like things that you
- 10:45Speaker 1: have done, spells you have casted?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh?
- 10:48Speaker 4: Sure? Yeah, I mean you know, spell casting is kind
- 10:51Speaker 4: of like wish making, you know. Okay, your face is
- 10:55Speaker 4: just hilarious.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Well there's a lot.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks, there's a lot that I want to save.
- 11:00Speaker 3: But I'm trying to practice my self control. That's good
- 11:04Speaker 3: ahead of say, wish making, so I can tell you
- 11:07Speaker 3: what I want and you can make sure I get there.
- 11:09Speaker 4: No, So what's the process and what wishmaking is though? Well,
- 11:12Speaker 4: wish making is wishing for something? Right, So what's something
- 11:16Speaker 4: not be serious? What's something that you would wish for?
- 11:18Speaker 3: Man, that's tough. Put me on the spot. Something that
- 11:22Speaker 3: it's something that I want meaningful?
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:25Speaker 4: Yeah, uh dead air.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, this joint sounds great. All right?
- 11:33Speaker 4: Maybe you want a certain guitar, right, so you have
- 11:36Speaker 4: so it can be something material?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, Okay, great. Great.
- 11:39Speaker 3: What I'm looking for as of recently is Fender Roads
- 11:43Speaker 3: electric piano.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Okay, you know what they sound like?
- 11:46Speaker 3: No, very cool. They're very expensive, but they're very cool.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Only made for a very limited time. You know Fender
- 11:52Speaker 3: like the guitar people. Well, they made a lot of
- 11:53Speaker 3: keyboards back in the seventies. You would know it if
- 11:55Speaker 3: you heard it beginning a queen, you're my best friend.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Oh, very iconic sound. Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha? Gotcha.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Okay, so that's something you want. Now, why don't you
- 12:04Speaker 4: have that yet?
- 12:06Speaker 3: Because I haven't found the right one on Facebook marketplace.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I want a jukebox too, wasn't a jukebox?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Will good?
- 12:10Speaker 3: In here?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Look around?
- 12:11Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:11Speaker 4: That goes with your decorps.
- 12:13Speaker 3: All right, good, cast a spell on me that I
- 12:14Speaker 3: get the jukebox and the Fender rose.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Are these things expensive?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 12:21Speaker 4: Okay, So you would want to do a prosperity spell,
- 12:25Speaker 4: so you would want you'd be wishing for the money.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So instead of just sitting here on your couch going wait,
- 12:29Speaker 4: don't hated the money to bind it, you would actually
- 12:32Speaker 4: do something. You would create an action to have prosperity
- 12:36Speaker 4: to get the thing you want.
- 12:38Speaker 1: All right, Well, here, I have an idea.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Why don't we will press the button for the open
- 12:41Speaker 3: and then we'll come back and we'll figure out how
- 12:44Speaker 3: I can get the Fender Roach jukebox.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I think we're gonna cast a spell in general, right,
- 12:49Speaker 5: super excited. Episode twenty two, our guest lead the practicing
- 12:52Speaker 5: witch Blaze Confused, Let's do it.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker Joel
- 13:01Speaker 6: cent trivia podcast where the questions are high.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Hey, and so are they?
- 13:05Speaker 6: Hates tractice, pluck your curiosity and light up some knowledge.
- 13:09Speaker 2: The Blazed and Confused podcast starts now.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Hello.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Hello, I am Becker. That's my good friend Joel. And
- 13:21Speaker 5: one of the things that I had hoped that our
- 13:23Speaker 5: guest today, we were looking for a witch for spooky season,
- 13:26Speaker 5: and I said, I thought, oh, man, if I could
- 13:28Speaker 5: find somebody to come on the show and make him
- 13:30Speaker 5: a much more agreeable person, that would be so fantastic.
- 13:32Speaker 5: So maybe that'll happen today, maybe it won't. Probably well, to.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Be honest with you, I didn't even know that we
- 13:38Speaker 3: were going to have a witch on the podcast until
- 13:40Speaker 3: when I was scrolling on social media.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I saw that he put like an all call out
- 13:43Speaker 1: I did. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 3: To be honest with you, I didn't know that there
- 13:47Speaker 3: was such a thing as a practicing witch until you
- 13:51Speaker 3: asked if anybody knew of one.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I was selling it out, no pun intended. People start
- 13:57Speaker 1: tagging everybody, Oh ya, she's a witch's witch.
- 14:00Speaker 3: It's like, man, I'd be offended if somebody called me
- 14:02Speaker 3: a witch. It's like, excuse me?
- 14:04Speaker 2: What?
- 14:05Speaker 4: Not at all?
- 14:06Speaker 1: Not at all?
- 14:07Speaker 4: See he manifested that, so he did spell work. There
- 14:09Speaker 4: you go, wish making.
- 14:10Speaker 1: You got to keep ringing that freaking bell man. You're
- 14:12Speaker 1: gonna have to might have to get me one of them. Yeah,
- 14:14Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate the bell man.
- 14:16Speaker 3: So the broomstick for a practicing witch is the broomstick
- 14:20Speaker 3: all like hyped up bullshit, Like you don't.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Absolutely totally use that really? Oh absolutely, I mean I'll fly.
- 14:27Speaker 4: So what do you do with the broomstick other than
- 14:28Speaker 4: so you can sweep away negativity?
- 14:30Speaker 1: So on we need, freaking man, a lot of supplies
- 14:36Speaker 1: needed to become a witch.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Hu.
- 14:38Speaker 4: So like on New Year's Day, I go outside and
- 14:40Speaker 4: I sweep my stoop, and I sweep with the negativity
- 14:42Speaker 4: and to sweep away all from the last year and
- 14:45Speaker 4: welcome in the new year. So keep your doors open,
- 14:47Speaker 4: Welcome in the new year. A lot of the tools
- 14:50Speaker 4: that you use are things that women had in their house, right.
- 14:54Speaker 4: So if you go back to you know, back through
- 14:56Speaker 4: history the sixteen hundreds, blah blah blah and further, women
- 15:00Speaker 4: had brooms, so that's a tool they had. They had
- 15:03Speaker 4: a cauldron because they cooked in it, right, So the
- 15:06Speaker 4: tools that you think of when you think of a
- 15:08Speaker 4: witch are just things people had.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So there are like potions and stuff too, like this
- 15:13Speaker 1: is all real, like yes, or is there another term
- 15:16Speaker 1: for it?
- 15:16Speaker 4: I don't want to Okay, now it's as real as
- 15:20Speaker 4: you want to think it is, gotcha. So there's a
- 15:24Speaker 4: there's a couple different thinking on this. You could think
- 15:27Speaker 4: of it like, yes, everything I'm saying is exactly what
- 15:30Speaker 4: you see on television. That's exactly real, and potions are
- 15:34Speaker 4: real and everything's real and magic is real and you know,
- 15:37Speaker 4: really get into it, right, Or you could think this
- 15:40Speaker 4: is psychological not like not like somebody has, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 4: a psychological problem and they think this but in other words,
- 15:49Speaker 4: like spell casting, is me really wishing for something? I
- 15:54Speaker 4: really want something? So I'm going to cast a spell,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and it's sort of like a psychological thing I'm doing
- 15:58Speaker 4: to myself.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Got it, you know what I mean? Yeah, let's get
- 16:01Speaker 1: me that jukebox in the piano. Yeah, you go in
- 16:03Speaker 1: the electric piano, offender roads. I need it. I'm running
- 16:05Speaker 1: out of space though, there's not a lot of room
- 16:07Speaker 1: in here.
- 16:07Speaker 4: All right, well we're gonna we're gonna do a little
- 16:09Speaker 4: prosperity for you.
- 16:10Speaker 1: All right, ready, awesome tribute. What are you gonna do?
- 16:13Speaker 1: You're gonna talk me through it?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Or what?
- 16:14Speaker 1: How does this work? Maybe we should do trivia first?
- 16:16Speaker 1: We should we do trivia? Do you tribute? Well, it's
- 16:19Speaker 1: gonna be your trivia first. You know how this works?
- 16:21Speaker 1: We do.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I know how it works. I stink at trivia.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, me too.
- 16:25Speaker 4: It's okay, well some of these things you might know.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Something's like a lot of your guests stink at Trivia's
- 16:31Speaker 4: that's what makes it fun though, that's true. Okay, all
- 16:33Speaker 4: your guests are stupid. Joke, that's what you said.
- 16:38Speaker 3: That's not a trivia podcast for the trivia. It's a
- 16:40Speaker 3: trivia podcast so that we create conversation. So the conversation
- 16:44Speaker 3: uniquely and naturally flows. You know, I was thinking about
- 16:47Speaker 3: this earlier. You know, this guy when we were talking
- 16:50Speaker 3: about doing a podcast. He's like, we should do a
- 16:52Speaker 3: trivia podcast, and we should be a stoner trivia podcast.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay, great. Now, like We're twenty two
- 16:57Speaker 1: episodes in and I'm thinking, man, I've been set up
- 16:59Speaker 1: the ail on this. This guy uses he does trivia
- 17:03Speaker 1: every freaking week, and he's probably heard a lot of
- 17:04Speaker 1: the questions I asked him. It doesn't mean I remember, though,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I believe, well you'd believe me as far as certaining
- 17:09Speaker 1: you're you know, down here with that kind of I mean,
- 17:11Speaker 1: full disclosure. The reason why that was such a great
- 17:15Speaker 1: idea on my part not to toot my own horn,
- 17:18Speaker 1: but it's because I can type out my questions on
- 17:21Speaker 1: a Tuesday and then I use the same questions on
- 17:23Speaker 1: Sunday for the podcast.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, what I mean, gotcha work smarter, not harder. I
- 17:27Speaker 3: understand you're going to do a podcast. Why not smoke
- 17:30Speaker 3: weed and ask trivia? Questions are already written the weeds here.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I mean, geez, you just got to record. Let's try it,
- 17:36Speaker 3: all right, all right, you don't do the wrap.
- 17:38Speaker 1: It roundly. Well, let's do ten questions sixty seconds. See
- 17:43Speaker 1: how you do so? If you don't know him, say pass, Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 1: we'll come back.
- 17:47Speaker 4: A lot of passing. The game begins into three.
- 17:54Speaker 1: All right, Lee? How long is a marathon?
- 17:58Speaker 4: Twenty six point three miles?
- 18:00Speaker 1: So close?
- 18:01Speaker 4: Twenty three point six miles?
- 18:03Speaker 1: No, you close? What is hummus made from chickpeas? Got it?
- 18:08Speaker 1: What's the tallest breed of dog Scottish wolfhound in nineteen
- 18:13Speaker 1: twenty nine? What ingredient was removed from Coca cola cocaine?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Who invented the telephone? Belle Graham Bell? That's his first name.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 18:24Speaker 3: She's fine, that's fine, that's fine. How many months have
- 18:27Speaker 3: thirty one days?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Jeez?
- 18:30Speaker 4: I honestly don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Okay, pass pass. What is a group of geese called.
- 18:36Speaker 4: A group of geese?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:39Speaker 4: Pass?
- 18:41Speaker 1: What's the most common eye color in humans?
- 18:44Speaker 4: Brown?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Got it? What is the largest bone in the body femur?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Got it. What's the name of Batman's butler, Alfred? Got it?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Back to the Batman questions, What the fuck?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Why Batman?
- 18:58Speaker 5: What's wrong with Batman? You know why I brought up Batman?
- 19:01Speaker 5: I learned I was talking to somebody last night. They
- 19:03Speaker 5: have a student. They're a teacher with the name the
- 19:06Speaker 5: last name Batman. The last name is Batman, a real
- 19:11Speaker 5: last name of Batman. See, so is your name naturally Batman?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Or is it Batman?
- 19:16Speaker 3: Well that or did somebody along the way like change
- 19:19Speaker 3: their last name to the sure because anybody can change
- 19:22Speaker 3: your name, right, Yeah, a couple hundred bucks. You wake
- 19:25Speaker 3: up tomorrow and make my last name dickhead, and then
- 19:27Speaker 3: all of a sudden, my ancestors all have.
- 19:28Speaker 1: The last time she took my joke. We likely.
- 19:36Speaker 3: All right, Well, how long is the marathon? That was
- 19:38Speaker 3: twenty six point two months? You were point one off?
- 19:42Speaker 3: The tallest breed of dog? You got that wrong. Apparently
- 19:46Speaker 3: it's a great Dane, a great dame. Oh yeah, what'd
- 19:48Speaker 3: you say, Scottish wolf found. Yeah, they're really tall too.
- 19:52Speaker 1: How many months? Have thirty one days? Seven of them? January, March, May, July, August,
- 19:58Speaker 1: October and December.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I never would have gotten that correct. I remember, I
- 20:02Speaker 3: remember rhyme. I don't remember the rhyme.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I don't remember the rhyme either, so it didn't help.
- 20:07Speaker 1: A group of geese is called a gaggle.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Oh, I did know that.
- 20:12Speaker 5: What is the most common eye color in humans? Yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 5: you got that one, r brown. Fifty five to seventy
- 20:16Speaker 5: nine percent of humans have that eye color. It was
- 20:20Speaker 5: the largest bone of the body. That was a femur.
- 20:21Speaker 5: I was waiting for Joel to make some kind of
- 20:23Speaker 5: inappropriate comment about that one. What is the name of
- 20:25Speaker 5: Batman's butler, Alfred? And it was were this week's rapid round?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Let's do Superman next week? Yeah, all right, I'll do that.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Will you do you know anything about Superman?
- 20:35Speaker 2: No?
- 20:35Speaker 3: I don't really know either. Wanted something together, no idea?
- 20:39Speaker 3: All right, anyway, how do I get the jukebox?
- 20:42Speaker 4: You gotta manifest that?
- 20:43Speaker 3: All right?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:44Speaker 3: Should we do that now? And then we'll go back
- 20:46Speaker 3: to more trivia? Yeah, that what we're gonna do. Sure,
- 20:48Speaker 3: all right, so again Fender Rhodes, and then we're gonna
- 20:52Speaker 3: google what manifest means?
- 20:54Speaker 1: I know, okay, just making sure.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Come on, what does mean to you?
- 21:00Speaker 3: Manifest is uh, when you think about something so hard
- 21:05Speaker 3: that it happens, right.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly exactly.
- 21:11Speaker 5: He's fantastic. Yeah, you're very good, very fast, quicker than us.
- 21:17Speaker 5: This stuff doesn't help I think, Yeah, I'm.
- 21:19Speaker 4: The only one here not smoking.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So yeah, never never a big Mary Jane Fanner.
- 21:24Speaker 4: So it's funny because when Becker and I were first talking,
- 21:27Speaker 4: I had said, you know, once you get a little older,
- 21:29Speaker 4: it doesn't hit the same. So I haven't smoked pot
- 21:32Speaker 4: in a long time.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm waiting for the day it doesn't hit the
- 21:35Speaker 1: same then I can stop.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Also, i'd rather run.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Run?
- 21:39Speaker 3: What run? You know?
- 21:42Speaker 1: Be able to run?
- 21:42Speaker 2: Why?
- 21:43Speaker 1: That doesn't look like fun? It doesn't, it's not, so
- 21:47Speaker 1: why do it? Why do it? I see these people
- 21:50Speaker 1: running all the time.
- 21:51Speaker 4: They look miserable.
- 21:52Speaker 1: They always look miserable.
- 21:53Speaker 3: They are granted a lot of times I think, fuck,
- 21:55Speaker 3: I wish I looked like that, Like it wouldn't it
- 21:57Speaker 3: be nice if I was ripped like like, that would
- 22:00Speaker 3: be nice?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Right?
- 22:01Speaker 3: However, it looks like you're dying, and you you just
- 22:04Speaker 3: have to deal with the fact that you feel like
- 22:06Speaker 3: you're dying. Isn't that essentially what running is testing? How
- 22:09Speaker 3: long you can feel like you're dying?
- 22:11Speaker 4: Yes, and then you get done and you feel like, wow,
- 22:14Speaker 4: I really accomplished that. I'm amazing, I'm batman.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Look at his face? See yeah, ring that bell again ring.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I wish no, no, no, more power to you. I
- 22:23Speaker 1: wish I could do it. Yeah, more power to you.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Well, you're gonna come to my gym?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your gym called?
- 22:29Speaker 6: Again?
- 22:29Speaker 4: It's called Jeeva Fitness two point zero. Where's that at
- 22:32Speaker 4: ten oh five Palmer Street, wilson Borough, Easton.
- 22:36Speaker 5: She came ready to plug that. That's right, that's all right,
- 22:38Speaker 5: very good social media and stuff like that.
- 22:40Speaker 1: People.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Oh my god, yeah, I know you'll come.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. Oh yeah, are you gonna go?
- 22:47Speaker 4: I love how his commitment is.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Like, you know, the kid does a lot of jobs.
- 22:54Speaker 4: I do, and so I have two full time jobs.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Plus I'm not practicing witch. You think that doesn't take time, No,
- 22:59Speaker 4: believe me, I know it though. Speaking of busy manifested,
- 23:01Speaker 4: let's get me that damn jew box?
- 23:03Speaker 1: How do we do that? Yeah? So what do we
- 23:05Speaker 1: have to do? Do we gotta?
- 23:06Speaker 4: Like?
- 23:06Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:07Speaker 4: Well, so this is the spell work that I brought. Okay,
- 23:10Speaker 4: so shall we uncover it?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yes? Yes, show us what you have here? So we
- 23:13Speaker 1: have a big ball. Oh, it's like a cauldron, a
- 23:15Speaker 1: little mini cauldron, big bowl and not like a weed
- 23:17Speaker 1: bowl called what is called a cauldron. A cauldron, yes,
- 23:21Speaker 1: little cauldron.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Have white and black handles. So we're gonna get rid
- 23:27Speaker 4: of negativity, bring in some positivity.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Am I really that negative?
- 23:33Speaker 4: She just met you and you know she's reading India
- 23:36Speaker 4: pretty well. And oh, I think I left something back
- 23:38Speaker 4: on the table. I have to get our bay leaves. Now,
- 23:40Speaker 4: I know that both your moms listen to this or
- 23:42Speaker 4: are you going to get in trouble?
- 23:43Speaker 2: What not?
- 23:43Speaker 1: At all?
- 23:44Speaker 4: For what doing witchcraft?
- 23:47Speaker 1: Is it officially a witchcraft? We're doing it right now.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm a witch, so yeah, she's crafting. Do it all right?
- 23:54Speaker 4: So I'm picking out some nice big leaves.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And these are what bay leaves? These are bay leaves
- 24:00Speaker 1: and what do they symbolize?
- 24:02Speaker 4: So bay leaves are good for manifestation and they're good
- 24:05Speaker 4: for bringing about positivity and getting rid of negativity. A
- 24:10Speaker 4: lot of this stuff has to do with positive and
- 24:11Speaker 4: negative because I wanted to make it super simple and
- 24:14Speaker 4: you know, very accessible to everybody. This is something that
- 24:18Speaker 4: a lot of people do also around the New Year.
- 24:21Speaker 4: So wish making, right, because you know how in the
- 24:25Speaker 4: New Year you make your resolutions, that's magic. It's wish making. Okay,
- 24:30Speaker 4: So What you're going to do is you're each going
- 24:33Speaker 4: to write on this whatever your thing is that you
- 24:37Speaker 4: hope for. So if you want it smells nice, It
- 24:41Speaker 4: does smell nice. If you want that. What is it again,
- 24:46Speaker 4: it's a keyboard.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you get to right our A Fender A Fender wrote.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Okay, you can write that specific thing if you want,
- 24:52Speaker 4: or you can just put prosperity pros pair ro s.
- 24:59Speaker 1: This is the new trip P E R I T Y. Okay,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I thought, so write down your wish all right, So you're.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Gonna write your thing down, okay, prosperity, yes, you should
- 25:11Speaker 4: write that, okay. And Becker, are you gonna write whatever
- 25:14Speaker 4: it is? If you want him to be a more
- 25:16Speaker 4: positive person? You can write that if you want.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Why you said do I have a sharpie?
- 25:19Speaker 4: This is why I said, do you have a skinny sharpie? Okay?
- 25:23Speaker 4: So the other thing is, so you're putting your energy
- 25:26Speaker 4: into this, right, because words have energy. Words are magic.
- 25:30Speaker 4: That's why a lot of times a spell will rhyme
- 25:32Speaker 4: because there's magic in that. Yeah, so you're gonna write
- 25:35Speaker 4: on this. You're gonna put your energy into what you're writing,
- 25:39Speaker 4: and you're gonna manifest whatever it is that you want, okay, okay,
- 25:42Speaker 4: And in the meantime, I'm going to get this up.
- 25:44Speaker 4: I need the lighter.
- 25:45Speaker 5: What is there like something I should put on, like
- 25:47Speaker 5: some not a material thing. Does it have to be
- 25:50Speaker 5: like prosperity or Hi puppy?
- 25:53Speaker 4: Oh my goodness. Okay, the show is over because the
- 25:56Speaker 4: dog is here now and I just want to play
- 25:58Speaker 4: with the dog. You can whatever it is you want.
- 26:01Speaker 4: It does not have to be a physical item. It
- 26:03Speaker 4: could be, you know, if you want world peace.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Hey, can I do another one to make my dog
- 26:07Speaker 3: like less annoying? Not annoying, but you know that less that?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Sure?
- 26:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's ring the bell at the dog.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Here you go? All right.
- 26:21Speaker 4: That was my fault. I shouldn't have put my hand
- 26:23Speaker 4: down by her face.
- 26:24Speaker 1: That was my face. She's like this, she does it
- 26:28Speaker 1: with everybody.
- 26:28Speaker 4: It's my fault.
- 26:29Speaker 1: So what should I write to get Lucy to be nice? Love? Love?
- 26:34Speaker 4: Put Lucy and love. Okay. So what I'm gonna ask
- 26:36Speaker 4: you guys, is this are your wishes to bring something
- 26:40Speaker 4: into your life or to get rid of something, to
- 26:44Speaker 4: bring in? Okay, So if it's to bring in, I'm
- 26:47Speaker 4: gonna have you light it with the white candle. Now,
- 26:50Speaker 4: just so you know, these are gonna spark and kind
- 26:52Speaker 4: of like go up, but they're not gonna go up
- 26:55Speaker 4: that fast. Okay, So you want to get it lit
- 26:57Speaker 4: and then you're going to just like Joel and then
- 26:59Speaker 4: you got to put it into the cauldron and let
- 27:02Speaker 4: it burn. All right, So you're gonna light it then
- 27:03Speaker 4: with the white candle, light mine now, and then you're
- 27:06Speaker 4: gonna put it into the cauldron right to light it
- 27:08Speaker 4: on the edge. That's it, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 4: and then the cauldron plight it more.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Whoa that like lit up?
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yeah, so you're gonna get that. You just manifested that
- 27:21Speaker 4: ship man.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Alright.
- 27:22Speaker 4: All right, So we want to bring love to Lucy,
- 27:24Speaker 4: so we want to bring it in. So we're going
- 27:26Speaker 4: to use a white candle.
- 27:27Speaker 1: What about take it away?
- 27:28Speaker 4: She's really into it, she's over here looking and then
- 27:30Speaker 4: I'm sorry, what what.
- 27:31Speaker 1: About taking away her negative bullshit?
- 27:33Speaker 4: You can do another leaf if you want and do that.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Sure, write negative bullshit on it, yeah, absolutely perfect. Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 4: You should definitely use your own language because that's what
- 27:41Speaker 4: makes it powerful to you.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yep.
- 27:43Speaker 4: And then sort of hold it so the flame will
- 27:44Speaker 4: catch the whole leaf. You're really taking your time with this.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I love it ow fuck which just don't burn, but
- 27:51Speaker 1: I do because I'm not a witch. So where am
- 27:54Speaker 1: I going to put the juke box?
- 27:57Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Do you have something you need to get rid of
- 27:59Speaker 4: in your life?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Probably?
- 28:01Speaker 4: Okay, well let's get rid of Lucy's bullshit, all right,
- 28:08Speaker 4: So get that sharpie out and I'll get you another
- 28:12Speaker 4: big leaf. So this is something you could do, like
- 28:18Speaker 4: I say, on like New Year's Eve or New Year's.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Than you you want to Lucy bullshit?
- 28:27Speaker 4: Yeah, Lucy's bullshit. Now I want to get an update
- 28:32Speaker 4: on how this all works out for you.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Guys. Absolutely, it smells nuts in here?
- 28:37Speaker 4: Does It smelled like skunk weed when I first came in.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Don't tell me this. I'd rather not know where you
- 28:44Speaker 1: getting your stuff?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Man?
- 28:46Speaker 4: You edit that still smoldering a little bit. Okay, So
- 28:50Speaker 4: once this has gone out, I'm going to take those
- 28:52Speaker 4: ashes and I'm going to put it in the mortar
- 28:54Speaker 4: pestle and I'm going to grind that up and I'm
- 28:55Speaker 4: going to give you the ashes because you need to
- 28:58Speaker 4: release that into you know, the outside nature.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So we're gonna let that smolder. Yeah, we're just gonna
- 29:04Speaker 1: let that smaller and we'll come back to that. Now
- 29:06Speaker 1: we're running late this week. I said, let's do some trivia.
- 29:10Speaker 6: And you're about to learn absolutely nothing and confused podcast.
- 29:16Speaker 3: All right, you know I'm gonna be such a nice
- 29:18Speaker 3: guy again and let you pick your category, mister Becker. Okay,
- 29:20Speaker 3: stage names, logos, music or current events logos?
- 29:28Speaker 2: Question number one?
- 29:32Speaker 3: What clothing brand features a moose I'm sorry, a moosehead
- 29:37Speaker 3: rather as its logo?
- 29:42Speaker 1: A moosehead? What clothing brand features a moosehead as its logo? Now,
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm allowed to use you as a lifeline.
- 29:52Speaker 4: I mean you can, but I don't know.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know. We're allowed to come to
- 29:55Speaker 1: you once. A moosehead.
- 29:59Speaker 5: I want to say, like car heart, Carhart no something
- 30:03Speaker 5: some kind of outdoorsy kind of Oh man, oh hold on,
- 30:09Speaker 5: can you give me a hint?
- 30:10Speaker 2: Like?
- 30:10Speaker 1: Can you give me a hint?
- 30:11Speaker 3: Like a.

- 30:20Speaker 1: I missed it. I missed it. I missed it. Fucking idiot.
- 30:23Speaker 1: A moosehead?
- 30:26Speaker 3: Be nice to ring that bell for you, yeah, and
- 30:31Speaker 3: for me for my well, it's hard not to be
- 30:33Speaker 3: negative when I say what clothing brand features a moose
- 30:35Speaker 3: head as its logo?
- 30:36Speaker 1: And you say a beer?
- 30:39Speaker 4: Otherwiser came out with the clothing brand recently. Did you
- 30:42Speaker 4: know that no logo is a moosehead?

- 31:09Speaker 1: Ever.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I never got that stuff until I have my own money.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Tell me how ridiculous this is. I used to go
- 31:15Speaker 3: to the Lost and Found in middle school and be like, damn,
- 31:18Speaker 3: it's a nice sweatshirt.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this home. But I think about this
- 31:22Speaker 1: now as an adult.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Took a lot of freaking balls as a sixth grader
- 31:26Speaker 3: to wear somebody else's sweatshirt, but then, on top of that,
- 31:29Speaker 3: wear it to school, Like, who's to say that this
- 31:33Speaker 3: kid who's it was his sweatshirt.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Wouldn't see me the home.
- 31:35Speaker 5: We'd be like, what isn't that what I lost that
- 31:38Speaker 5: a couple of weeks ago. So you just admitted to
- 31:41Speaker 5: stealing by the way, all right, Well, you know I
- 31:43Speaker 5: was a child. The statute of limitations is over, is it?
- 31:45Speaker 4: Maybe they just felt bad for you and so they
- 31:47Speaker 4: never sit there.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Like and we light another leaf for.
- 31:53Speaker 2: That.
- 31:54Speaker 1: We might have to for your question too. Lifestyle stage names,
- 32:02Speaker 1: music or current events stage names. I'm gonna get this

- 32:54Speaker 1: knew that.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, they were all on the brat pack. Yeah,

- 33:32Speaker 5: it seems to be because the line seems to go
- 33:34Speaker 5: much faster, and it's always Taco Bell. I think Taco
- 33:37Speaker 5: Bell has like the fastest drive through, and I think
- 33:40Speaker 5: it always has because I used to work there and

- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yah, yeah, that's true. Wow, you got that right,
- 33:55Speaker 1: Thank you?
