- 11:20[SPEAKER_15]: And he got a little sharpener in there, and he had to get some paste, he had to have paste, and he got a protractor, and he got a compass, that's the thing with the point on it, and the pencil on the other side shouldn't draw a circle.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_15]: He'd have to get a lunchbox.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, lunchbox and it looked like a school bus, usually, or some other thing, Mickey Mouse was on or something.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_15]: And then you also, if you were in kindergarten, had to bring your own rug to take a nap on it.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_15]: They didn't provide it like they do now.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_15]: Yep.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_15]: Some of the things, and of course, you had to get school clothing and all of that.

- 16:15[SPEAKER_15]: We're advocating here on the hotline.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_15]: Repaint those stripes.

- 16:40[SPEAKER_15]: No, they'd use them, but they're whatever.

- 16:43[SPEAKER_15]: They're intimidated by them.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_15]: Let's stop trying to reinvent the wheel in life.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, there's a lot of good things downtown, a lot of good things going on.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_15]: That's not wonderful.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_15]: And we sit and defend this stuff.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_15]: Well, a plan or the engineers says this.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_15]: And we like those two parking places.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_15]: They could just paint those in there.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_15]: It wouldn't affect anything.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_15]: But they argue about it and we can't have it.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_15]: And they're concerned about liability.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_15]: Well, they weren't when they put the speed bumps in.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_15]: They never thought about that.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_15]: I'm not here to judge anything.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_15]: But you know,
- 17:19[SPEAKER_15]: Well, when they might open their door and somebody might hit it.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that could happen anywhere.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_15]: That could happen with peril, or with the, you know, there's a parallel parking out.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_15]: There was somebody this morning on Washington Street.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_15]: They were trying to pull in forward to a spot and they couldn't.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_15]: They were hanging out in the road.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_15]: I slowed down.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_15]: I was nice and I stopped and carefully went around at all.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_15]: I didn't hit anyone.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_15]: But that's me.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_15]: And I realize there's other people who aren't as nice as me.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_15]: So, what do we do?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_15]: What do we do about it?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_15]: Do we have to discuss two parking places for forty minutes?
- 17:58[SPEAKER_15]: And if they had passed a resolution saying, put two parking places in, what would it have happened?
- 18:05[SPEAKER_15]: I question whether it would have.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_15]: I question whether it would have.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_15]: Seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_15]: There's another story, schools, brace for my high changes to lunches.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_15]: Well, didn't Mrs. Obama make changes to lunches, and schools don't have to brace for anything.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_15]: He's, I got all the money in the world.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_15]: But yeah, make it over here.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_15]: Healthy.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_15]: What's wrong?
- 18:33[SPEAKER_15]: Make him school lunches better for people.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_15]: All let's put some more red dye in there.

- 27:16[SPEAKER_15]: So the angry man is, keep in cool.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_15]: It's supposed to be a little cooler next week.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_15]: So maybe he can, um,
- 27:25[SPEAKER_15]: simmered down by that okay already uh... let's see somebody texted in quomo closed all the mental institutions throwing people out in the street i don't know if quomo closed them all but somebody did and you know a lot of these people yeah they do have a problem
- 27:55[SPEAKER_15]: And it's obvious he's been looking at it or talking to them, but it seems like nobody cares.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_15]: And while the money we spend out all the other stuff we have, some kind of institutionalization is necessary for some people, I hate to say that.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_15]: You can't give riddle in to everybody.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody says, fix a fountain and fix the parking spots and call it a day.

- 28:39[SPEAKER_15]: You can have a nice fountain back and no time.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_15]: No time.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody else said it depends on if Eric wants more spaces and I'll be referring to the city manager, Mr. Wagner, you know, seem to control things just.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_15]: And this person also said, I wish I could get my compropures vote back.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_15]: Well, you can't.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_15]: You can't.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I don't think she's a bad issue.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_15]: I thought she was warming up to us again.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_15]: She came in here one day, but now she's back just to do Nicole's digital desk there, so.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, well.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_15]: But after dude, you're on the air.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_24]: I can't hear you today.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_15]: Right, what's up?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_24]: Oh, I'm down here in Florida.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_24]: Old Duffland here and enjoying myself.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_24]: Good.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_24]: Good.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_15]: Good.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_15]: Anything else on your mind?
- 29:41[SPEAKER_15]: Do you want to talk about anything?
- 29:43[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah, the angry guy is there.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_24]: You know, he had a good point.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_24]: You know, that fire a couple of weeks ago, they're over a rutless tree.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_24]: Yes.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_24]: the cops during interviewing a guy with a shop in cart with time was that I'd like to know that was you know it's in the evening I was late evening midnight is probably I don't know I'm not sure when it broke out but yeah I'm you know and the aggregates get a good point you know and interviewing a guy there with a shop in cart full of grocery or plastic bags I don't know if those groceries are not well it's on well it's in one sense sad
- 30:21[SPEAKER_15]: Because these people are many of them have issues that go beyond just wanting to be on the street with a shopping cart.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_15]: And society doesn't seem too well suited to dealing with it.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_15]: We've got a million social agencies and all of that, but we don't seem, and we spend a lot of money on all that, but I don't know, we don't seem to be able to deal with it.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_24]: Well, and then I watched this scene come to me in the other night.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_24]: They're talking about garbage.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_24]: things like that.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_24]: How much is your water bill?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_24]: Like at your business.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_15]: Well, that runs about three hundred a quarter.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_24]: Okay.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_15]: That's our water and that's for my house and through apartments too.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_15]: It's the whole one we only have one meter.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_24]: Well, down here in Florida, we pay through our water bill, the garbage.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_24]: I couldn't tell you probably five ten more bucks a month and I want to build small I have a pool my water bills a hundred dollars a month my garbage is taking care of everything it's added to the water bill like when they added to the water bill up there and everybody's garbage would be taken care of you know I think I think there's merit to all of that I
- 31:44[SPEAKER_15]: I think we've got a rather, you know, we've got provincial attitudes that, you know, I know from being an office, it's very hard to fight the bureaucracy because it isn't that they aren't all sometimes right.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_15]: It's just that it's always, you know, they're always looking for reasons why they can't do something and not for reasons why they can do something.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_24]: Right.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_15]: And I think that's true across the board with bureaucracies.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_24]: Right.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_24]: But if, you know, every, you know, you figured we're looking for money for
- 32:14[SPEAKER_24]: Oh, trash and things like that.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_24]: Everybody wants to pay the water bill or they won't have any water.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_24]: So what if you had it?
- 32:22[SPEAKER_15]: We'll have to see on that.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_24]: Yeah.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_24]: To your water bill, that would take care of your garbage.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_24]: That's a bag or two bags of garbage a week.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I think it's a good idea.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_15]: I have no problem with that.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_15]: No problem whatsoever.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_24]: And also on the homeless there, but why can't we mind two different trucks
- 32:42[SPEAKER_24]: pick up glass with one truck and pick up cans with the other right then the trucks that we do have like and we just pick up cardboard.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, it all ends up in the same place anyway.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I know I know I know.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_24]: Three separated roll off dump dump dump dumpsters and put it in there.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_15]: I got you.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_15]: I'm with you.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_15]: All right, well, enjoy yourself and Florida.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, that's good there.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks by now.

- 33:19[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_15]: I suggested before they could rent that out, probably get twelve hundred a month for it.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_15]: Then he got a couple of eyeballs up there.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, or let the mayor live there.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_15]: Or use it as a flop house for all the department had you live out of town or might have some work to do at night.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, any number of things you could do.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_15]: But I don't know who lives there.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think anybody guys and that information has been redacted.

- 38:50[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, driving and talking on the phone?
- 38:53[SPEAKER_17]: No, no, I'm parked right now.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_17]: I thought I would say hello and let you know that I need lunch.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_15]: Well, you know, if I were there, I'd be glad to get you lunch, but I'm not there, so I can't.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_17]: All ready.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_17]: Have a good one.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_15]: All right, thank you.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_15]: Samantha is an Evans mills at the Walmart.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_15]: It needs lunch.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_15]: A clarion call goes out to everyone who's in the area.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_15]: Buy that woman lunch, please.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_15]: It's Samantha.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_15]: She deserves it.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_15]: She entertains us so much.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_15]: Yep.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_15]: Oh.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_15]: Well, what do we got going here?
- 39:42[SPEAKER_15]: He's the only these things that are.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, there it is.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_15]: I was just trying to get rid of this thing on the screen.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, there it goes.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_15]: He didn't want to make things complicated.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_15]: It's not good for the oldsters, you know?
- 40:04[SPEAKER_15]: Not a good thing.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_15]: Not a good thing.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_15]: Seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_15]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_15]: And we expect to be chatting, well, when we were told the congressman's supposed to call, I don't know.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_15]: I didn't line it up.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_15]: I do what I'm told.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_15]: And he's supposed to call in.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_15]: And we love having people of celebrity who was up in Clayton a couple of weeks ago with the attorney general, you know, or two male, two pale, two stale lady.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_15]: And, yeah.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_15]: So,
- 40:39[SPEAKER_15]: we'll be glad to talk about him and what he's I really don't know if he has a topic if he wants to push his Senate candidacy undoubtedly he wants to bash Trump and I'm sure he's willing to bash representatives to find it because my understanding is a HR too now so much hate and well you know I'm not a hate or I don't hate anybody yeah I look at people I disagree with them but you know I just don't
- 41:07[SPEAKER_15]: But some of you will get so worked out.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_15]: Our democracy.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, I'm fearful of our democracy democracy.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_15]: Because you're trying to crack out our crack down on a few gang bangers in DC.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_15]: We're killing people and beating people up.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_15]: And you can't go into a store there without every can of hairspray is under lock and key or a toothbrush or something.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_15]: Is that the world you want to live in?
- 41:35[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, yes, yes, after.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_15]: We don't criminals, well, we sure do.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_15]: Our blessed criminals, we have to be nice to them.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't want to live that way.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_15]: Now they haven't done that at a local drugstore yet.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_15]: They better put the nanny daddy under lock and key, but I'm telling you, I'm talking about the other stuff.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_15]: You know, you can just go pick up a box of toothpaste or bottle of vitamins or whatever else off the shelf.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_15]: But in these big cities you can't.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_15]: You gotta go get a clerk.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_15]: All the shelves have got plexiglass over them and they have to open them up.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_15]: It's terrible.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_15]: But after you're on the air.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_18]: Good afternoon, Jeff.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_18]: How are you?
- 42:19[SPEAKER_15]: Good.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_15]: Good.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_15]: Hey.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_18]: I just want to take a moment.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_18]: I just want to take a moment.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_15]: Listen.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_15]: I've got a car.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_15]: I'm expecting a car from out of town.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_15]: Can I take
- 42:35[SPEAKER_15]: What was your thing you wanted to promote?
- 42:38[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, I just wanted to promote that tomorrow's the office for the aging.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_19]: Right.
- 42:43[UNKNOWN]: Is having their senior health fair as Jefferson Community College in the gym?
- 42:49[SPEAKER_19]: Okay.
- 42:50[UNKNOWN]: It's from nine to one and anyone who wants to show up is fabulous.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_15]: It sounds good.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_15]: Nine to one tomorrow at the Jefferson Community College gym.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_15]: Senior health fair.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_15]: All right, thank you, Sheila.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I don't need to be rude, but you know, when we have someone who's supposed to call in and they had someone trying, but maybe we missed them, but we don't have a screener or anything like that.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_15]: So I've got to try to time it out and say, well, who is it out there and all of that?
- 43:21[SPEAKER_15]: So maybe that was the person and they'll call back.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_15]: I hope so.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to get in trouble, my God.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_15]: Um, anyway, seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_15]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the air today.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_15]: And, uh, we'll talk about things, okay?
- 43:38[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_15]: Um, okay, yeah.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, there's a call coming in now.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_15]: We'll see who that is.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon here on the hotline.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_22]: Hey, it wasn't him.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_22]: It was me and I, I should come up to keep a line open.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_22]: So if he could other call comes in, just let me go and whatever.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_22]: You want to live in a authoritarian government?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_22]: I don't.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_22]: I don't understand.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_22]: The military on the streets is never a good luck, you think?
- 44:05[SPEAKER_22]: We're going to get a lot of tourists in Washington, D.C.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_22]: this August September with the military Roman streets.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, you know, wake up and smell the authoritarian coffee man.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_22]: I'm like, does it have to go?
- 44:21[SPEAKER_22]: This is what we're talking about.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_15]: Why did they call it?
- 44:26[SPEAKER_22]: Why did they call it Trump is doing bad things.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_22]: So let's stop him.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_15]: You know, when back when Barack Obama was called the deporter in chief, not my phrase, no, you never said anything.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_15]: I never heard you call it in the hotline.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_22]: About the port.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_22]: If you deporting people properly, I've never had a problem with that.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_22]: When you go and take people picking through and arrest them and put them in a concentration camp,
- 44:55[SPEAKER_15]: You know, well, listen, I don't agree with it.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_15]: I don't agree with everything going on.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_15]: Uh, I don't care if some of these, I don't care if some of these people stay here personally.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_15]: I don't care.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_15]: But I don't know.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, listen, I got a run, okay?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks, by the way.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon, you're on the hotline.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_25]: Hey there, Jeff.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_25]: Hey, uh, I grew up at the GCP back in the eighties.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_15]: Uh-huh.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_25]: And that's like, that place is always been trouble.
- 45:22[UNKNOWN]: So it speaks very hard to down like southeast.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_25]: And I remember as the kid, you know, I had to go with my mom last, she worked down the capital.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_15]: Now, is that when you dated the Shah's daughter?
- 45:38[SPEAKER_15]: I'm sorry, was that?
- 45:39[SPEAKER_15]: Didn't you date the Shah's daughter?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_15]: I did not.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_25]: The Shah ran.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 45:58[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, that's me.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, well those Persian girls are pretty nice aren't they?
- 46:01[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, all right.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_15]: Good for you.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, so if he goes on a bath, I don't have a problem with the military running around clean and stuff off.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_25]: You know, with technology changing and everything, he gets that phone and they can kind of get a lot quicker than they could.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_25]: You know, that last caller, I mean, that guy, that's what I call
- 46:26[SPEAKER_15]: Brothers and they're not going to have those phones come September second in schools.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_25]: Not here, but these kids they're talking about it.
- 46:35[UNKNOWN]: These people probably don't even go to school.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_25]: They may have down there.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_25]: Anyway, they've got to clean that up there.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_15]: Well, how's your online water town post coming?
- 46:49[SPEAKER_25]: Not good.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_25]: A lot of traffic every day.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_15]: Good.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_25]: Well, you've got some, which makes me happy.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_25]: interesting articles yeah there's people who hate you are ready yeah well you got to have haters yeah well yeah well yeah thanks for asking if you appreciate it well listen to you my white stop listening to you for a little while but you back to it again now why did she stop ah she was mad because
- 47:23[SPEAKER_25]: you had said one time there was no conservative publications in northern New York.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_25]: She's like, how dare you say that when there's the water dump?
- 47:31[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, well, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't forgotten.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, well, thank you, though.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_15]: Got a girl, bye now.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon, you're on the hotline.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_19]: Hey, Jeff, I just want to remind all the haters on the DC deployment there.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_19]: Johnson April fifth to six, eight, well done rest.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_19]: in dc deployed one thousand seven hundred fifty national guard troops in over hundred cities and that was a democrat so i guess deploying national guard to fix the problem is only a problem if a republican that yeah well that that's obvious what's going on here this is getting silly down there really
- 48:19[SPEAKER_19]: It's happened before, so, you know, all these people saying, ah, this is horrible.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_19]: We can't be done now.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_19]: It can be done.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_19]: It has been done.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_19]: A funny, aside on this whole thing is, in April, it was six, eight.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_19]: I was in a station wagon, heading to vacation in my parents.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_19]: And I still, to this day, remember my mom and dad threatened to do.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_19]: And because you could see smoke from the fires from the riots.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_19]: And they were trying to go around the city in a way that would keep them clear of any of the trouble.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_19]: But that was pretty crazy.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_15]: Well, thank you.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_15]: All righty, by now.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_15]: All righty.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_15]: We're three one five seven five five twelve forty the phone number if you'd like to be on the air today.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_15]: As I said, we were told that the congressman Goldman was going to call and he hasn't so far maybe he's tied up.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_15]: We don't judge.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_15]: We don't judge.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_15]: I wanted to ask more about Mr. Momsdami.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_15]: who seems to be doing pretty well.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_15]: He's up by nineteen point points in the latest sea on a poll.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_15]: That's pretty reputable polling firm.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_15]: So I don't know.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_15]: I guess he's going to.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_15]: I guess what when I look at him.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_15]: You wonder whether I forget about his ideology or his ideas or his proposals.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_15]: That thirty three with his resume does he have any relevant experience for running an organization of that size and I guess.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_15]: Well, he'll get some people in there to do it for him.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_15]: So all we can, all we can really say, I don't know.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, waiting to hear what our North Country people do.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_15]: Then we know there was a bit of a political fight going on.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_15]: It's not quite an hour area.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_15]: It's up to the North East towards Clinton County and Platsburg, but in the Republican Party, there was a big schism that's still festering over.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_15]: Remember last winter,
- 50:16[SPEAKER_15]: when congressman woman staphonic was going to go to the u.n.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_15]: then they pulled the nomination he you know there was talk of a special election to fill the seat never there was no consensus and a lot of the chair's favorite leaves joy and the congresswoman didn't and she wanted Chris take the assemblyman uh... apparently they've now settled on this senator dance stack and his uh... it was uh... close friend there the mayor of uh...
- 50:43[SPEAKER_15]: uh... melone is running for assembly and the county chair is now at odds with the congresswoman up there in clinton county because the county chair doesn't want to support and re-adubious was the mayor of melone and we can't really talk about the her reasoning but uh... people in the no no and uh... so i i don't know what's going on i we want to see the congresswoman move on and run for governor
- 51:14[SPEAKER_15]: Don't get involved in local petty nonsense with county chairs up there in dog patch or whatever other area is let it go.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_15]: You know the assembly seat if it gets filled by a Republican fine if it gets filled by a Democrat who cares the Democrat was in there before Billy Jones people liked him.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_15]: And the assembly is so lopsided Democratic is not going to matter anyway.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_15]: So don't get hung up on that as my advice if anybody asked me my political advice don't get hung up on local, local stuff and the petty politics of county chairs and all of that.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_15]: Because it's a certain point, you got to rise above that.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_15]: Got to rise above that.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_15]: All righty, seven, five, and if you know if the next year, if the seats vacant, it gets filled through a primary and
- 52:05[SPEAKER_15]: Please, Joy, run so what if she gets an nomination or whoever else, if Goeney gets it, so what?
- 52:11[SPEAKER_15]: You know, they'll run and they'll be judged on their merits against Jen to be in the Democrat.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_15]: Mr. Jen to be in her.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_15]: We've seen paling around with just James, but
- 52:27[SPEAKER_15]: That happens.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_15]: Listen, there's a lady running for Judge, a nice lady from Lewis County who's took a picture with just James and was widely criticized.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_15]: But I'm a forgiving person, so I was Candace Randall.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_15]: I think it's her name.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know who's running for State Supreme Court Judge, whilst we're supposed to vote for McCloskey, but there's more seats than that, aren't they?
- 52:50[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know who else is.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_15]: I think it's like four seats up, so you get to choose up to four people.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_15]: Well, we'll do that.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_15]: Um, seven, five, five, twelve, forty are for a number.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_15]: If you'd like to get beyond the air today and talk about whatever you want and my apologies, we had said the Congresswoman was going to call in, but he didn't.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_15]: And that's that.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_15]: Um, you know, we obviously are disappointed.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_15]: I wanted to hear from him.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_15]: I wasn't going to jump him or anything.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_15]: You know, I'm a professional interviewer.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_15]: I'm asking a couple of pointed questions, obviously.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_15]: But not anything bad.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon, Your Highness.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, I was just talking through all of our working Americans.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_21]: All seniors are growing social security.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_21]: And anyone who's interested in protecting social security.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_21]: I got something I'd like to say.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_21]: Did you read that article?
- 53:59[SPEAKER_21]: I think about the member Mr. Trump fired the labor statistics.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_26]: Right, right, right, right.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_21]: And he's nominated a man from the Heritage Foundation.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_21]: It's a by the way, World Project, twenty twenty five, a man by the name of E. Jason and Tony.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_21]: And he's up for a nomination to be certified to be the new BLS secretary.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_21]: Our commission, I should say.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_21]: And he said the social security is a positive scheme like memory Elon Musk said then.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_21]: And it should be transitioned and shut down.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_21]: What do you think about that?
- 54:40[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it's financially, right, right, right, right, right, right.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_15]: It's financially, and solvent in a few years.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_15]: And the only way you can trust.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_21]: As long as people are working, Jeff, they'll be paying into it.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_15]: That's true, but there's only like,
- 54:58[SPEAKER_15]: When the system first started, there were a lot more workers paying in than we're drawing.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_15]: Now it's a lot more drawing.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_15]: The only way you're going to correct that is to cut benefits or extend the retirement age or increase employer contributions, which are now seven points or excuse me, six point two percent of your wages.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_15]: So, you know, there's only so many ways you could make it solvent unless you're just going to print more money in bigger deficits.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_15]: That's probably the way we'll go.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_15]: and only a kind of this from uh... here is foundation is up for that position to be a little bit you know it should be called it should be sunset that means done away with well i mean uh... perhaps with some kind of alternative i don't know i mean for the same week for the same week for the same the same reason defined benefit pension systems have faded away because they didn't it couldn't afford it now it's a deal with government
- 55:58[SPEAKER_21]: tell people to help you work all your life.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_21]: You don't get any income that's back, social security, Medicare, Medicare, Medicare, Medicare, Medicare, that's your thing.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_21]: That's all it's conscious.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_15]: Well, any decision, any decision, any decision?
- 56:10[SPEAKER_15]: Danny, any decision like that, as we made by Congress, who, how does Congress get there?
- 56:15[SPEAKER_15]: People like you vote for them.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_15]: Elections, you know?
- 56:19[SPEAKER_21]: That this Congress is not going to pass anything left on Trump.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_15]: Well, they're also not they're not going to eliminate social security stop.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_15]: Stop, you know that you've been around long enough.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_21]: I've been paying so I've been paying so straight, but even now it's just ninety fifty seven by first.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_21]: I was doing high school.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_15]: And nobody's trying to take it out.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_15]: These are inflammatory headlines that the, you know, the Democrats and the media put out there to scare people.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_15]: It isn't going to happen.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_15]: Now eventually there may be a day of reckoning.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_21]: It's not a hit.
