- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast. We are here
- 0:08Speaker 2: today doing something I love so much. We were recapping
- 0:11Speaker 2: a very explosive and deep episode of the Real Housewives
- 0:16Speaker 2: of Rhode Island. We had awkward dinners, to mom confrontations
- 0:22Speaker 2: to a fight that I think Laura and I are
- 0:25Speaker 2: gonna have a lot of fun talking about.
- 0:26Speaker 3: I know my heart was racing this whole episode.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I had to do. There's four moments, Lauren during this
- 0:34Speaker 2: episode where I had to do the thing where I
- 0:38Speaker 2: cover my eyes like I can't watch, I can hear,
- 0:40Speaker 2: I just can't watch it.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like secondhand embarrassment, but like not even embarrassment,
- 0:45Speaker 3: but just like, oh my god, if I was in
- 0:46Speaker 3: that scenario, I don't know what I would do.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I have zero idea what I would do. So stressful,
- 0:54Speaker 2: so so stressful. We have a huge episode. I love
- 0:57Speaker 2: this episode, Lauren. This was a good epis It was
- 1:00Speaker 2: so there was so much happening, and we're going to
- 1:03Speaker 2: start at Alisha's house. Yeah, this storyline is amazing, and
- 1:08Speaker 2: they're playing into it just as much as I want
- 1:10Speaker 2: them to. I don't want it to be the main
- 1:12Speaker 2: storyline of Alisha the whole season, But it does feel
- 1:15Speaker 2: like the show really wants us all to be very
- 1:17Speaker 2: aware that Alicia has some quirks yes that, yes, that
- 1:21Speaker 2: make her different dolls and the lack of ability to
- 1:25Speaker 2: drive and crackers.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Ashley told her. I told the Lasha that she should
- 1:30Speaker 3: start a cracker line, which would be iconic. But the
- 1:33Speaker 3: driving thing infuriates me so much. Like, I know everyone
- 1:37Speaker 3: says they're a good driver, I am the best driver,
- 1:41Speaker 3: Like I am actually very good. Like if I were
- 1:43Speaker 3: to go over and start over again this life, I
- 1:45Speaker 3: would be a race car driver. So when I see
- 1:48Speaker 3: someone driving like so close to the steering wheel, so nervous,
- 1:54Speaker 3: it makes me so irrationally mad. But yeah, I guess
- 1:58Speaker 3: they're like trying to portray that she can can't let
- 2:00Speaker 3: go do normal errants, pick up her daughter, pick up,
- 2:03Speaker 3: drop off, all that stuff. So her husband is pissed
- 2:08Speaker 3: at her. And I know what bridge she was worried about,
- 2:11Speaker 3: which is so funny because ron is so small and
- 2:13Speaker 3: there's like three bridges, but there are actually very scary.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I'll give her that bridges are scary.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Her her husband, my wife is is very capable. I
- 2:23Speaker 2: have been in moments in life and I'm sure she
- 2:27Speaker 2: would say the same about me where you just want
- 2:29Speaker 2: to like directly say what you're feeling, like, hey, Alicia,
- 2:32Speaker 2: get over it, Like yeah, it's driving. People do this
- 2:36Speaker 2: at sixteen years old. People do this at eighty five
- 2:39Speaker 2: years old. Suck it up and like move on. It's
- 2:44Speaker 2: sounds like a.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Five lane road here, it's always two macs. It's not
- 2:49Speaker 3: that crazy.
- 2:50Speaker 2: And he's holding it together. But there isn't this like
- 2:55Speaker 2: at some point in marriage, there isn't the sensitive, sweet
- 2:58Speaker 2: way to communicate exactly what it is you want to say.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And I was watching this in sant Alicia. You realize
- 3:05Speaker 2: you make everybody else's life a little bit harder because
- 3:09Speaker 2: of your problem. And one of the things I was
- 3:11Speaker 2: told growing up is don't make your problems other people's problems.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yeah, And you could tell by the way she was
- 3:18Speaker 3: her daughter, I guess has to coach her through. And
- 3:20Speaker 3: she's in the backseat and Alicia's driving. She's like, yeah,
- 3:23Speaker 3: my daughter says, it's okay, Mom, it's okay. It's like
- 3:26Speaker 3: now the daughter is going to have issues with the road.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That's true. And what I'm also getting from this is, oh,
- 3:34Speaker 3: just get a driver, you know, because normal housewives from
- 3:38Speaker 3: other seasons would be like, I have a driver because
- 3:41Speaker 3: I can't drive. But they're not at that level of
- 3:44Speaker 3: wealth that we're normally seeing from the other seasons. So
- 3:47Speaker 3: she has to learn and suck it up.
- 3:49Speaker 2: She has to suck it up. She has to. But
- 3:51Speaker 2: it is a funny little storyline. I am learning to
- 3:55Speaker 2: become more endeared to Alicia episode by episode, just because
- 3:59Speaker 2: she is Cariacture and she's funny, and she is I think,
- 4:04Speaker 2: desiring to be a good friend to get along to
- 4:09Speaker 2: the good heart. She has a good heart. Speaking of
- 4:13Speaker 2: good hearts, we get to meet Rosie's dog again, Clemmy,
- 4:16Speaker 2: who's in a princess outfit. This is where we get
- 4:19Speaker 2: a look at the house outside of what anybody else
- 4:22Speaker 2: wants to say. That is a massive build on. It
- 4:25Speaker 2: is easily five thousand square feet. That is a huge
- 4:28Speaker 2: piece of concrete that they're putting in.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I definitely believe her. Now, I don't think
- 4:33Speaker 3: they fully showed the whole like square edition before the
- 4:36Speaker 3: first time we went over to her house. The plans
- 4:39Speaker 3: are laid out on the kitchen counter, We'll get to
- 4:41Speaker 3: that later. Yeah, I mean everyone should believe her.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Now.
- 4:44Speaker 3: This is an absolute ridiculous sly. I don't even think
- 4:46Speaker 3: we need to address it anymore.
- 4:48Speaker 2: There's a lot of jumping around during this episode from
- 4:51Speaker 2: storyline to storyline, So if you don't mind, I kind
- 4:54Speaker 2: of want to lead us into making sense of each
- 4:56Speaker 2: of these stories separately. Yeah, before we go back to
- 5:10Speaker 2: the house situation and Rosie and Kelsey, I want to
- 5:15Speaker 2: talk about Joellen and the interaction that Joellen has with
- 5:21Speaker 2: her sister and her mom. That was hard for me
- 5:25Speaker 2: to watch. It was. It was heavy. The mom I
- 5:31Speaker 2: think was caught off guard a little bit.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I know, I wonder if she was like prepped, like, hey,
- 5:35Speaker 3: we're about to talk about our childhood right now, or
- 5:37Speaker 3: I was just like, no, you're gonna go to Grandpa's
- 5:39Speaker 3: house and then you're gonna talk about Grandpa and then
- 5:42Speaker 3: Joellen bringing up that mom you never liked me?
- 5:46Speaker 2: Hmm, what'd you feel about this? I mean that's one
- 5:48Speaker 2: of those I had to cover my eyes. Well.
- 5:51Speaker 3: What I thought was great was like, Mom, give me
- 5:52Speaker 3: examples of like what I did that you know, h
- 5:56Speaker 3: hissed you off so much to have me sent away,
- 5:59Speaker 3: and she was like, your behavior is outrageous, and it's like, well,
- 6:03Speaker 3: it happened like the lies. I'm like, if every teenager
- 6:07Speaker 3: is gonna be sent away for lying to their parents,
- 6:09Speaker 3: there would be no more teenagers in any home around
- 6:11Speaker 3: the country. And I thought that, you know, it was
- 6:15Speaker 3: basically Joeellen. I think her sister may have more like
- 6:19Speaker 3: sympathy for her mom because she's not coming at her
- 6:22Speaker 3: as hard. But I thought it was very interesting when
- 6:26Speaker 3: Joelan's mom said I had a lot of my plate. Guys,
- 6:31Speaker 3: that was basically it. She was like, I had to
- 6:32Speaker 3: send in one of you away because there was just
- 6:34Speaker 3: too much going on. I was overwhelmed, and I was like,
- 6:37Speaker 3: that's exactly probably what it was. She was like, how
- 6:39Speaker 3: do I get rid of some of this stress in
- 6:41Speaker 3: my life? Oh, yeah, I'll send I'll send joel on
- 6:43Speaker 3: a way.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And I guess her sister, the promiscuous you know, went away.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I you know, you obviously have had conversations that are
- 6:54Speaker 2: probably at confronting a situation like something with your mom.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Did this feel like how a daughter and mother would communicate.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Obviously there's a lot of like personal stuff here. It
- 7:08Speaker 2: was a little bit more like in your face than hey, mom,
- 7:12Speaker 2: sorry that I broke your pot kind of conversation or yes,
- 7:15Speaker 2: I snuck out last night. But does this feel like
- 7:20Speaker 2: how a conversation would go between a daughter and a mother.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I think it's kind of exactly how it goes, because
- 7:24Speaker 3: it started off a little bit lighthearted, like oh, I'm
- 7:27Speaker 3: a bitch, and then it's like, oh, I'm a bitch
- 7:29Speaker 3: because of you, and it's like, what are you talking about?
- 7:31Speaker 3: And then it's like no, for real, mom, and then
- 7:33Speaker 3: like goes deep, deep, deep, and then everyone's scrambling, and
- 7:35Speaker 3: then everyone's crying and they're like, I'm sorry I did
- 7:38Speaker 3: this to you, and then eventually it kind of hopefully
- 7:42Speaker 3: ends up in some common ground, and it seems like
- 7:46Speaker 3: there was common ground. She was just like, I am
- 7:49Speaker 3: my mother and it's a cycle thing, and she said
- 7:54Speaker 3: she'll try and be around more going forward. But I'm
- 7:58Speaker 3: just like, the damage is kind of done. Like I
- 7:59Speaker 3: don't I don't think that everything's gonna change. I need
- 8:02Speaker 3: to get more. I need more in depth conversation about,
- 8:05Speaker 3: like step by step what she did to get sent
- 8:07Speaker 3: away a little bit more. But I think for now,
- 8:11Speaker 3: I think they'll probably have a better relationship.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I don't know until her mom watches the show.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Oh well, it seems like she's pretty upfront about it
- 8:19Speaker 3: with her mom. But yeah, but she is being thrown
- 8:21Speaker 3: under the bus a lot. She's like, I got didn't
- 8:23Speaker 3: sign up for this show? You did, Joellen?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of you know, it's it's not gonna
- 8:28Speaker 2: be an easy watch because leading up to this episode
- 8:31Speaker 2: there is a lot of references too, I don't do
- 8:33Speaker 2: things properly. It's there's a moment in there where Joellen
- 8:37Speaker 2: mentions that she's like hard because of her upbringing, like
- 8:42Speaker 2: she doesn't know how to be likable and not be mean.
- 8:46Speaker 2: That you know that takes a lot of work to
- 8:49Speaker 2: get to a place to be able to admit that. Yeah,
- 8:51Speaker 2: And it's it was a little bit surprising coming from
- 8:53Speaker 2: Joellen because so much of this season she's come out
- 8:56Speaker 2: as the confident one who maybe doesn't have the greatest
- 8:59Speaker 2: awareness of self, and in this moment, you see her admit, hey,
- 9:06Speaker 2: I have stuff and I think it's because of you.
- 9:09Speaker 2: So my hope is, you know, this is not a
- 9:13Speaker 2: thing that I don't love in family fighting. I would
- 9:16Speaker 2: love to see this get settled and healed and be
- 9:19Speaker 2: able to move on through the rest of the season
- 9:22Speaker 2: in a healthier way. I hope that to be true.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I think it may be true. But also I just
- 9:26Speaker 3: want to say, like, I think Joe Allen's doing great.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Like I think she's actually very well round it. She's
- 9:31Speaker 3: got great kids, she's a great husband, she has great friends.
- 9:34Speaker 3: She so she may dig in drama a little bit
- 9:35Speaker 3: too much. I think that she's doing pretty well, a
- 9:37Speaker 3: great career all around, you know, pretty good for like
- 9:40Speaker 3: the upbring that she.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Had's that's really like, you're right, and she is doing
- 9:46Speaker 2: great and she's representing herself very well. As I said
- 9:49Speaker 2: last week, I thought she was going to be the
- 9:51Speaker 2: poster trouble starter, the drama one, and she hasn't really been.
- 9:55Speaker 2: She's just been the one that's got caught up in
- 9:57Speaker 2: this whole rule of situation that we'll get to in
- 9:59Speaker 2: just a bit.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Oh yes, yes, yes, But.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Before we get to that, we do have to talk
- 10:03Speaker 2: about Liz and Dolores. We're gonna give them a free
- 10:06Speaker 2: ad here for their menopause gummies that they're just popping
- 10:10Speaker 2: like candy. The two of them are starting a business together.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I could see this becoming very successful. Good for them,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and it is one of the only moments of this
- 10:20Speaker 2: episode that we see Liz. It kind of felt like
- 10:22Speaker 2: they had to figure out a way to plug her
- 10:24Speaker 2: in and they did it with this kind of lab visit.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, very interesting. Got to say, Dolores's hair looked amazing
- 10:32Speaker 3: in that day. I was like obsessed. Yeah, Li Liz
- 10:37Speaker 3: said something that I had no idea about that Rhode
- 10:38Speaker 3: Island was the first date to like recognize menopausal women
- 10:42Speaker 3: as a protected class or something. Not even sure what
- 10:46Speaker 3: that means quite honestly, but it sounds very interesting.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I guess it's like, wouldn't that mean that they could
- 10:51Speaker 2: get time off work and work?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Okay? Yeah, so I thought it was like a pregnant
- 10:55Speaker 3: woman or something like that. Very interesting. The gummies kind
- 10:58Speaker 3: of seemed delicious. I don't like the full effects of it,
- 11:01Speaker 3: if you actually feel high or not, or if they
- 11:02Speaker 3: take different properties.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Lauren, we have a few key components about this episode
- 11:06Speaker 2: that we got to dive into. Yes, Ashley doesn't have
- 11:11Speaker 2: a huge role of this episode. We can just kind
- 11:13Speaker 2: of get filled in on where she went last week.
- 11:15Speaker 2: This isn't her episode because the episode is taken up
- 11:18Speaker 2: by so many other things. We're gonna start with what
- 11:22Speaker 2: I think was one of the most interesting scenes of
- 11:27Speaker 2: this episode, which is at Rula's house. Rula has invited
- 11:31Speaker 2: Alicia and her husband or her boyfriend. Oh yeah, are
- 11:36Speaker 2: they engaged? Yeah, they're engaged, Yeah, over to have dinner
- 11:42Speaker 2: with Brian Rula. It's a very nice dinner. They're doing
- 11:49Speaker 2: some catchy to Pepe, some filet mignon. They're drinking. Brian's
- 11:55Speaker 2: getting liquided up for this.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he had to have a couple of shots tequila
- 11:58Speaker 3: before they came over. Courage to confront the lady who
- 12:03Speaker 3: knows the secret, which he I guess doesn't even know.
- 12:07Speaker 3: He can we talk about first. That's what stood out
- 12:09Speaker 3: to me most is okay, is that Brian, I guess
- 12:11Speaker 3: is a little drunk. Doesn't seem that drunk. He's saying
- 12:14Speaker 3: like stupid like every husband does. Honestly, I was.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I'm glad you said that, because I understand that he
- 12:20Speaker 2: was rueless sensitive right now with le Cast, but it
- 12:24Speaker 2: did feel like she was being really hard on him.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Like everything he said was like, oh sweetie, oh you're crazy,
- 12:29Speaker 3: You're Crad's like I it is a very normal dinner
- 12:34Speaker 3: conversation actually, but he said that when they met, he
- 12:38Speaker 3: was like, tongue the bartender, give her doubles and give
- 12:40Speaker 3: me singles. Ew what a weird, weird thing to admit.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Uh huh is it? Does it make it better that
- 12:48Speaker 2: they got married?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Ew?
- 12:50Speaker 2: No?
- 12:52Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I mean I think it's weird. Like I do think
- 12:56Speaker 2: when when you hear that, Like if a buddy of
- 12:58Speaker 2: mine his single and he's like, yeah, last time I
- 13:02Speaker 2: met this girl knows great. Like I was getting singles
- 13:04Speaker 2: and I was telling the bartoner give her doubles, I'd
- 13:06Speaker 2: be like, hey, buddy, that's not good.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's that's bad behavior.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I would expect that from Brian for sure.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Though. Sure, but now that he's saying it about his wife.
- 13:19Speaker 3: It's a little bit funnier.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like but it's still not good. It just
- 13:24Speaker 2: traces back to I think, pointing to the character of Brian.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah, to me, there was no giggles
- 13:33Speaker 3: after that conversation, unless or they edited the giggles out. Yeah, no,
- 13:37Speaker 3: one is really impressed. He was saying other things like, oh,
- 13:41Speaker 3: I get the botox, the ozempic, the steroids and blah
- 13:44Speaker 3: blah blah blah blah, and because he sells it at
- 13:47Speaker 3: his dietrist office, which is kind of bizarre to me.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Why would a but I just be doing that. But
- 13:54Speaker 3: I do know the mistress next door is providing all
- 13:57Speaker 3: those services, So I think he's actually just getting for
- 14:00Speaker 3: the mistress, cause why would a pediatrist be giving out ozembic?
- 14:03Speaker 2: I have no idea. I think it's a great question.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Or botox. It feels very weird. That was a very
- 14:09Speaker 2: uncomfortable Now, don't get me wrong here. I don't want
- 14:11Speaker 2: somebody to hear me and say, hey, it's not weird
- 14:14Speaker 2: that he was like trying to get his wife drunk
- 14:17Speaker 2: when they were dating. I think it's odd. I'm saying
- 14:19Speaker 2: it points to his character. But they did get married
- 14:22Speaker 2: from it, she said. At some point she said, yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 2: that is my guy, and she's an adult and she
- 14:27Speaker 2: makes those decisions too. The conversation about him taking you know,
- 14:36Speaker 2: supplements or what's the word for him?
- 14:40Speaker 3: Why am I healthy ones?
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but peptides and taking peptides, it felt weird to
- 14:48Speaker 2: me because he's pretty much talking about how like his
- 14:51Speaker 2: body is panicking and freaking out and so then he
- 14:54Speaker 2: pumps steroids in and then he does something else. It's Brian,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I'm not like looking at this do me like that's
- 15:01Speaker 2: my model person, the weird one and Ida. I'm actually
- 15:05Speaker 2: I love Billy in this because Alicia is like, oh,
- 15:10Speaker 2: how zimpic and all that, and Billy's like, stop Alicia,
- 15:13Speaker 2: And I think that's such a good moment for somebody
- 15:14Speaker 2: that creates. He's like, you don't need it, like.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Stop playing and very interested.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Yes, like get this out of your head, like you're beautiful,
- 15:24Speaker 2: you're wonderful, Like you don't need this, and so like
- 15:27Speaker 2: this whole intrigue that you're saying that you need all
- 15:31Speaker 2: this stuff done, you don't. And I actually heard him
- 15:33Speaker 2: say that. I was like, that's a good Like that's
- 15:36Speaker 2: very caring and sweet to look at your wife and
- 15:38Speaker 2: be like, hey, you're beautiful.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Stop yeah, and not getting wrapped up in the conversation
- 15:42Speaker 3: just to talk about ozambic or whatever. It's like, no, girl, stop,
- 15:45Speaker 3: you're literally so skinny, like stop it, you're beautiful. Yeah, No,
- 15:48Speaker 3: I I love that. Actually didn't pick up on that
- 15:51Speaker 3: until you mentioned that. Yeah, she just seemed like very
- 15:54Speaker 3: like leaned into that conversation, but the whole point of
- 15:56Speaker 3: her being there also is to be like, I think
- 15:59Speaker 3: she's distracting herself from the real issue at hand. Is
- 16:02Speaker 3: I have to tell Rula at some point that he
- 16:06Speaker 3: there's another video circulating and he goes to the bathroom
- 16:10Speaker 3: for a work call. I don't know if it's a
- 16:14Speaker 3: work call or not. All speculation. Obviously they showed us
- 16:16Speaker 3: that to talk about. Maybe it is the mistress, but well,
- 16:19Speaker 3: Alicia's like, I can't do it. Never mind, this may
- 16:21Speaker 3: be opportunity to do it. I can't do it. I
- 16:23Speaker 3: can't do it. I'll let that simmer for a little
- 16:25Speaker 3: bit and maybe have someone else tell her. It doesn't
- 16:28Speaker 3: look like from the preview though, that we address it
- 16:30Speaker 3: for next week, but I hope we do.
- 16:33Speaker 2: At some point they're gonna have to. Yeah, this is
- 16:35Speaker 2: going to drag on. I don't know if Alisha is
- 16:37Speaker 2: the right person to do that, and I was actually
- 16:40Speaker 2: kind of hoping she wouldn't do it, because it felt
- 16:43Speaker 2: like Rula was already so much on edge, so uncomfortable
- 16:47Speaker 2: with how things have gone. She invited people over for
- 16:49Speaker 2: their house, it did seem like they were semi excited
- 16:52Speaker 2: for it, and that Rula wanted to put on a
- 16:53Speaker 2: good dinner for them. Yeah, that it would have been
- 16:56Speaker 2: kind of crushing. And I think there's some is them
- 17:00Speaker 2: and Alicia deciding, Hey, this isn't the time or the
- 17:03Speaker 2: place to bring this up. I'm just going to enjoy
- 17:06Speaker 2: dinner with friends that taste good and is good. Brian's
- 17:12Speaker 2: Brian during it. The dude isn't helping himself no matter
- 17:14Speaker 2: what scenario he gets himself in on this show. He's
- 17:17Speaker 2: just not winning us over by any means.
- 17:21Speaker 3: We need like a buffer situation, you know, like like
- 17:25Speaker 3: you need to have two good times and then a
- 17:27Speaker 3: bad time and then and then two good times. Not
- 17:30Speaker 3: just bad by bad, but bad our also rules continuously
- 17:33Speaker 3: being sick in bed. So I think that, Yeah, great,
- 17:36Speaker 3: great move on Alicia's part. Okay, we're gonna talk about
- 17:53Speaker 3: it now.
- 17:54Speaker 2: We're going to talk about it. The Rosy and Kelsey
- 17:57Speaker 2: situation happens. Kelsey is on the phone. Well let's start here. Actually,
- 18:02Speaker 2: Kelsey shows us her new apartment during this episode, with
- 18:06Speaker 2: her sister and mom coming over to help her set
- 18:08Speaker 2: it up. We're seeing more and more how how much
- 18:13Speaker 2: of a lack of life wisdom there's been to Kelsey,
- 18:18Speaker 2: but Kelsey actually does a decent job of explaining it,
- 18:20Speaker 2: where she says, you know, when she was younger, she
- 18:23Speaker 2: wasn't thinking about what she wanted in her thirties. She
- 18:25Speaker 2: still doesn't really know what she wants in her thirty thirties.
- 18:27Speaker 2: But she was given everything, a driver, a chef. To
- 18:31Speaker 2: her credit, I think it would have been hard for
- 18:33Speaker 2: me at nineteen if I had all those things to
- 18:36Speaker 2: be like, yeah, I'm not gonna want these because I
- 18:38Speaker 2: want to learn on my own. I think I would
- 18:40Speaker 2: have done the same thing.
- 18:41Speaker 3: You're so right, Yeah, why would you say no, thank you? Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 3: I'm good obviously, you know, squeeze every ounce of that
- 18:49Speaker 3: out in your twenties, and now that her biological clock
- 18:52Speaker 3: is ticking, obviously her mom wants her to have a child,
- 18:57Speaker 3: Now is the time to learn how to put together
- 18:59Speaker 3: a key of.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Furniture, which is which is still something I struggle with.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And I do a lot of home projects, and I
- 19:06Speaker 2: hate Aikia for it's her apartment's fine, you know, it
- 19:10Speaker 2: definitely is lacking in luxury compared to what she's used to.
- 19:14Speaker 2: This is a great start for her to get going again.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I am getting the sense Lauren that Kelsey actually is
- 19:21Speaker 2: fairly excited about this chapter.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yes, it's fresh, it's new, it's not tied to anyone.
- 19:28Speaker 3: She did mention that Billy Billy offered to have her
- 19:34Speaker 3: move in with him, and she's like, no, like, let
- 19:36Speaker 3: me have my own time for a little bit, which
- 19:38Speaker 3: I think is great. She still has a range rover.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I guess that she's gonna try and give up because
- 19:45Speaker 3: the sugar Daddy still pays for it.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I think be greateful to have at least a year
- 19:51Speaker 3: living on her own, taking care of her own, and
- 19:54Speaker 3: obviously after Housewife she'll be able to afford it a
- 19:56Speaker 3: little bit more.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's going to be kind of perfect timing
- 19:59Speaker 2: for Kelsey. She's going to be entering into this space convenient. Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 2: and now Housewives is happening, she'll have an income. Billy's
- 20:08Speaker 2: still there, Billy's being Billy the guy. I couldn't be
- 20:12Speaker 2: him in this situation, playing second fiddle until she was
- 20:16Speaker 2: done playing around like that would be hard.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's actually so bad when you say it out loud
- 20:19Speaker 3: like that, it's really what it is. He was just waiting.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Is that not what it is?
- 20:22Speaker 3: You know, it's exactly what it is. But like for
- 20:24Speaker 3: him like to actually hear that, probably it's like, oh, yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 3: I love this girl, but uh just waiting for her
- 20:29Speaker 3: to be kicked out by the other old man.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And he's still going to pay for her stuff. Yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 2: like he's still going to be the one this other
- 20:37Speaker 2: guy is going to be supporting the girl that you're
- 20:41Speaker 2: taking on.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Dates and masculating.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I think it is either so I said it gonna
- 20:46Speaker 2: be me. Maybe he like is like, cool, I don't
- 20:48Speaker 2: have to spend in a dime here.
- 20:50Speaker 3: She's actually so true. You could go it the other way.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but I would not love this. But Billy's still around.
- 20:56Speaker 2: He's loyal to a fault. And now we get into
- 21:00Speaker 2: Rosie and Kelsey have the interaction that we so anxiously
- 21:05Speaker 2: anticipated based on the previews from previous episodes. Kelsey is
- 21:10Speaker 2: going to go over to cut Rosie's hair. This is
- 21:12Speaker 2: kind of a hey, let's try again last time. I
- 21:17Speaker 2: was mad at you for not posting about it. Rosie
- 21:20Speaker 2: is very clear that the expectation is to share about
- 21:22Speaker 2: the haircut that she receives. Kelsey is on the phone
- 21:27Speaker 2: driving up and talking about the situation and the kind
- 21:34Speaker 2: of where their relationship stands. Kelsey feels like they're past
- 21:38Speaker 2: a lot of things. It's all got brought up, it's
- 21:41Speaker 2: all under the rug. They can move on, and so
- 21:44Speaker 2: she is going to make light of conversations they've had
- 21:47Speaker 2: in the past. Rosie obviously is still very sensitive to
- 21:50Speaker 2: the situation. She I don't think agrees that they have
- 21:53Speaker 2: moved past this. I think Rosie is feeling very much
- 21:57Speaker 2: like she has kind of been the punching bag for
- 22:00Speaker 2: Kelsey since the beginning. Lauren, I'm gonna stay quiet now, okay,
- 22:06Speaker 2: and let you break this down from here. Obviously you
- 22:10Speaker 2: know more. You are watching with wide eyes because you
- 22:14Speaker 2: know and like Rosie. I want to be clear again,
- 22:17Speaker 2: you like Rosie. The only thing I will say before
- 22:20Speaker 2: you take it away is I don't think I'm on
- 22:22Speaker 2: Rosie's side.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Okay, So this is exactly this is exactly what I'm thinking.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I heard about this five we've seen we've seen clips
- 22:29Speaker 3: of it.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I heard what Kelsey did, which was basically come up
- 22:34Speaker 3: with a bullhorn and start saying, house police, house police,
- 22:39Speaker 3: I have a measuring tape. Let's see what this is.
- 22:42Speaker 3: I would say, maybe that was a terrible idea. Obviously
- 22:45Speaker 3: it was a bad idea. I'm sure someone's in her
- 22:48Speaker 3: ear saying this would be funny, but it's not funny.
- 22:50Speaker 3: It's like we should have just been like, how are
- 22:51Speaker 3: you great? Oh my god, amazing haircut. Let's start fresh,
- 22:54Speaker 3: kind of like the rule of situation. Let's just give
- 22:56Speaker 3: it a beat, and then maybe we can down the line,
- 22:58Speaker 3: we can have jokes with each other. They're about square footage,
- 23:01Speaker 3: not immediately jokes about square footage.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Let me pause you here. I said I wouldn't say anything.
- 23:06Speaker 2: That's all good, but Rosie has the blueprints on the table.
- 23:08Speaker 2: She obviously was willing to talk about this right away. Anyways.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I guess yes, she was willing to talk about it.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I think Rosie really just wanted to clear her name. Honestly,
- 23:16Speaker 3: she was like, I just want to say, like, please
- 23:19Speaker 3: don't lie about me. Okay, So I hear, I hear
- 23:24Speaker 3: what's going on that she comes in. Rosie seems okay
- 23:28Speaker 3: about it kind of, and then and then she comes
- 23:32Speaker 3: into the kitchen and then something switches where she's like, actually, no,
- 23:36Speaker 3: screw this. I'm so tired of these jokes. I just
- 23:40Speaker 3: want everyone to be nice. I want to get over this,
- 23:44Speaker 3: actually not make jokes about it. And then Kelsey's like,
- 23:46Speaker 3: it's funny, it's funny. It's not funny to Rosie anymore.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Rosie flips. I've never seen someone flip like this before.
- 23:54Speaker 3: And then you can hear Kelsey's voice like shaking, like
- 23:57Speaker 3: I don't know if it's shaking because she's so mad, confused,
- 24:01Speaker 3: gonna cry. But it was obviously shocking to Kelsey. I
- 24:04Speaker 3: think I think Rosie took it too far. I really
- 24:07Speaker 3: think she took too far. It was really bad, pushing
- 24:09Speaker 3: her out of the house, taking her kit and like
- 24:12Speaker 3: almost throwing it down the stairs. Kelsey couldn't even get
- 24:15Speaker 3: a word in. I don't even know what she would
- 24:17Speaker 3: say in defense. She's just saying, you're not Rolsi's like,
- 24:20Speaker 3: you're no one, you're no one. You're a slam pig.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Everyone knows you have sex with married men.
- 24:26Speaker 2: What does a slam pig mean?
- 24:28Speaker 3: I think it's just, honestly, I think it's just someone
- 24:30Speaker 3: who's unattractive about sex with men. But I'm like, obviously
- 24:33Speaker 3: that's not She's not a slampig because she's gorgeous. I'm
- 24:38Speaker 3: pretty sure that's what it is. She takes it too far.
- 24:41Speaker 3: It doesn't look good for Rosie. I thought that it
- 24:44Speaker 3: was gonna be more warranted. I thought that Kelsey was
- 24:46Speaker 3: gonna say more evil things to her unless they cut
- 24:49Speaker 3: it out to make Rosie look extra crazy. I'll have
- 24:53Speaker 3: to ask Ashley if there was something else that we're
- 24:56Speaker 3: missing here, because I don't think just the bullhorn could
- 24:59Speaker 3: have could have done it like that? Would you agree?
- 25:02Speaker 2: I mean that was my take. I knew leading up
- 25:06Speaker 2: to this that there was a fight. I didn't know
- 25:07Speaker 2: what it was over. Was it in bad taste what
- 25:10Speaker 2: Kelsey did? Yes, I do. I mean, I only think
- 25:12Speaker 2: it's the funniest joke. I don't really know. I don't see.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You know, if I was in a fight with a
- 25:18Speaker 2: human and I pulled up to the house to confront
- 25:21Speaker 2: that fight and try to free myself from the fight,
- 25:24Speaker 2: I would not pull up yelling it. I might say
- 25:26Speaker 2: it right away to get the elephant out of the room, like, hey,
- 25:28Speaker 2: it's good that we can actually meet, and I see
- 25:31Speaker 2: that there's five thousand square feet being built over there,
- 25:33Speaker 2: like that might be the way to do it. Yes,
- 25:35Speaker 2: I think it was in bad taste. I don't think
- 25:37Speaker 2: it was meant to, cause I don't think Kelsey in
- 25:40Speaker 2: the back for mind was doing it intentionally to like
- 25:45Speaker 2: piss off Rosie. I don't, and that's where it gets
- 25:48Speaker 2: really hard for me.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, And then I guess the final straw was
- 25:53Speaker 3: that Rosie was like ever knows that your sugar daddy
- 25:57Speaker 3: paid for you to win Miss Rhode Island.
- 26:00Speaker 2: That really make ke Ma turn like.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Just twisting the knife and she's like, I did that
- 26:05Speaker 3: all on my own. I did it all on my own.
- 26:07Speaker 3: But then I think I remember Kelsey at the beginning
- 26:09Speaker 3: of the season saying something like I really didn't get
- 26:12Speaker 3: into pageantry until I was with this mystery man, So like, oh,
- 26:19Speaker 3: maybe that is true.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Out of all the things Lauren that are said during
- 26:24Speaker 2: this yeah, all of the things, as Kelsey's leaving, the
- 26:29Speaker 2: one thing that she wants to clarify because that she
- 26:33Speaker 2: actually won the padget.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. It's like, okay, yeah, I do. We'll
- 26:37Speaker 3: go with Mary Matt, I do that, but I won
- 26:40Speaker 3: that pageant, Okay, yeah, square because we have seen that
- 26:44Speaker 3: tiera a million times in the past ten episodes, so
- 26:47Speaker 3: we know it's very important to her. And then there
- 26:50Speaker 3: is a moment where I guess Kelsey pushes her a
- 26:54Speaker 3: little bit hands on and produce like, no touching. This
- 26:58Speaker 3: whole thing is going to be cut, this whole situation,
- 27:00Speaker 3: We're gonna to cut filming. I know that was a
- 27:03Speaker 3: big issue. They had a big production call after that because.
- 27:06Speaker 2: No touchy, no touch Yeah, it felt like it could
- 27:11Speaker 2: get physical. It did get physical ish. I think it
- 27:15Speaker 2: would have gone further because Kelsey came back into convince
- 27:19Speaker 2: Rosie of the pageant and that she did win the pageant,
- 27:23Speaker 2: faired and square, and Rosie is very upset. The reason
- 27:26Speaker 2: I said I am not on Rosie's side on this
- 27:29Speaker 2: is because I do think the joke was made in
- 27:31Speaker 2: bad taste. It wasn't a funny joke. It wasn't gonna
- 27:33Speaker 2: work out well. But I do think the intention was
- 27:36Speaker 2: to get the elephant out of the room right away.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I'm giving Kelsey the benefit of the doubt by saying
- 27:43Speaker 2: she meant to just bring it up, squash it, get
- 27:45Speaker 2: over it, move on. It didn't work that way, And
- 27:48Speaker 2: I think Rosie is very sensitive because Rosie has been
- 27:52Speaker 2: the punching bag for so many of the slanderous and
- 27:56Speaker 2: joking like things throughout the season, so she's over. No
- 28:00Speaker 2: more jokes for me. I just want to move forward
- 28:05Speaker 2: and try to make this whole thing work. I don't
- 28:08Speaker 2: think that through this season I've ever been on Kelsey side.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I think Kelsey has continually been a bully, has been
- 28:17Speaker 2: a hypocrite when it comes to her claiming different things
- 28:21Speaker 2: against others when she's doing the same thing herself. But
- 28:26Speaker 2: Rosie was so sensitive that I did feel like it
- 28:29Speaker 2: was an overreaction. I would be curious to hear from
- 28:32Speaker 2: Rosie on would she take it back, would she do
- 28:36Speaker 2: it differently?
- 28:36Speaker 3: I would love to hear that. I would assume yes,
- 28:41Speaker 3: it's amazing that me, like, like not a Kelsey fan
- 28:45Speaker 3: in the slightest, felt bad for Kelsey at the end
- 28:48Speaker 3: of that fight because hearing someone's voice shake and be
- 28:53Speaker 3: seemed very uncomfortable and startled, is like, really sad for me.
- 28:59Speaker 3: You can tell like she didn't really know what to say,
- 29:00Speaker 3: and she was like, I can't believe we can push
- 29:02Speaker 3: on this girl's house. I don't really know what I did.
- 29:05Speaker 3: So on that note, Rosie, I'm sorry it didn't look
- 29:09Speaker 3: good for you, but I wish we could get her
- 29:13Speaker 3: on here and just ask her real quick.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I agree. Maybe we can just get a statement. I
- 29:17Speaker 2: wonder if you can get a statement. Yeah, can we
- 29:20Speaker 2: send some of our sources out to ask Rosie? Would
- 29:23Speaker 2: you do it differently and get that statement to read
- 29:25Speaker 2: on air? Actually, I think we might be able to.
- 29:27Speaker 2: We should give it a shot, Lauren. Why not. We've
- 29:30Speaker 2: been talking about them every week. Might as well have
- 29:32Speaker 2: them talk to us. Overall, Lauren, this is a good episode,
- 29:36Speaker 2: action packed. It's still building to something right. We still
- 29:41Speaker 2: have storylines that are not We really don't have a
- 29:44Speaker 2: storyline that was started this season that's been concluded yet.
- 29:48Speaker 2: We still have the rule of Brian scenarios sitting out there.
- 29:51Speaker 2: The Joelle and her mom scenario does feel better than
- 29:54Speaker 2: it was before. We'll see where that goes. Kelsey and
- 29:58Speaker 2: Rosie really don't like each other. Final comment. Liz is
- 30:04Speaker 2: cracking me up with her menopause comments that her feet
- 30:10Speaker 2: are so fat.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah what she called them, like what some sausages or something.
- 30:16Speaker 3: But it is so weird to see her feet bloated
- 30:19Speaker 3: when she's the skinniest, like most muscly woman on top.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so sausages a bag of sausages. I don't even
- 30:28Speaker 2: know what that means. But it's awesome. It's so good. Yeah, Hey,
- 30:34Speaker 2: a great episode, Laura. Next week we see the rundown.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Kelsey shows up to meet the woman wearing a sash
- 30:40Speaker 2: that says miss slam Pig. Yeah. It obviously is a
- 30:44Speaker 2: very uncomfortable moment for Ashley, who we get to see
- 30:47Speaker 2: says can we just not all get along? And Alicia
- 30:50Speaker 2: and Liz get into a fight with Joel and caught
- 30:52Speaker 2: in the middle. The ladies are fighting, the drama is continuing?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Is love going to continue for Brian Arula? Or is
- 31:04Speaker 2: more information to come? We're gonna see how the video
- 31:09Speaker 2: is is shown to Rula. Lauren, Yes, sir, you got
- 31:14Speaker 2: a big day. Thanks for taking the time to jump
