1.40 The Stewardship of David Part 2
Luke 16:10, "He who is faithful in what is least is also faithful it what is much..." David's life represented one that demonstrated faithfulness in caring for a small flock of sheep to caring for God's flock the nation of Israel. God chose David to anoint as the next king of Israel after Saul's failure to rule under God's authority. David's victory over Goliath and the Philistines elevates his popularity with the people which causes envy and anger in King Saul. What follows is a prolonged period of David being hunted by Saul in the wilderness of Judea.
