- 0:00Speaker 1: Imagine waking up tomorrow and the technology that we've built
- 0:03Speaker 1: our entire lives around simply doesn't work. No grid, no internet,
- 0:09Speaker 1: no GPS, no AI. Could you function without it? Could
- 0:13Speaker 1: your children? Donna Howell believes that a growing number of
- 0:17Speaker 1: people will see that danger coming and begin deliberately unplugging,
- 0:21Speaker 1: rejecting technological dependence, human enhancement, and even the push toward
- 0:26Speaker 1: merging our bodies with machines. But Donna also has a
- 0:30Speaker 1: critical warning for those who choose that path. Who will
- 0:34Speaker 1: these Earthers be? What are they preparing for? And could
- 0:38Speaker 1: they be seeing something that the rest of us are missing?
- 0:41Speaker 1: We're going to be talking about all of that and
- 0:42Speaker 1: more right now. Hello, everybody, and welcome to Life TV Now,
- 0:53Speaker 1: where we unpack all matters of truth, faith, and freedom.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm your host, Joe Artis-Horne. Today we're gonna be talking
- 0:59Speaker 1: about something that is incredibly timely, but before we dive in,
- 1:03Speaker 1: let me introduce who's in house. She's an integrative nutrition
- 1:06Speaker 1: health coach with a master of science in health education.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Please welcome our executive director, Jamie Woodall. And she's a
- 1:17Speaker 1: credentialed ordained reverend with a degree in Bible and theology,
- 1:21Speaker 1: a powerful voice in Christian television, the one and only
- 1:24Speaker 1: Donna Howell. Thank you. Hello. Now, Donna, I said in
- 1:31Speaker 1: my intro, I used the words unplugging, and then I
- 1:35Speaker 1: mentioned these earthers. But I got to say, before we
- 1:38Speaker 1: dive in, this is a conversation that was kind of
- 1:40Speaker 1: born out of one that you and I had many,
- 1:43Speaker 1: many months ago. It might have even been over a
- 1:44Speaker 1: year ago now.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it was years, plural, ago.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Years, plural.
- 1:48Speaker 2: We've been talking about this for years, yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 1: My most recent memory is I think we revitalized the
- 1:53Speaker 1: conversation yet again in response to something we had seen
- 1:56Speaker 1: about AI, something about technology, some of the stuff that
- 2:00Speaker 1: our father, the late, great Dr. Thomas Horne, did documentaries
- 2:04Speaker 1: about over 12, 13, 14, 15 years ago, and spoke
- 2:08Speaker 1: at conferences almost 30 years ago, we're actually now seeing
- 2:12Speaker 1: not just the beginning phases, we're like deep in now. Eugenics,
- 2:15Speaker 1: the idea of human enhancement, we're changing our biology. And
- 2:19Speaker 1: by the way, with or without most people's consent. And
- 2:24Speaker 1: I am not going to get into what we're doing
- 2:26Speaker 1: with pharmakia or vaccines today, but the point is we
- 2:30Speaker 1: are changing our genomes. Even if you opt out of
- 2:33Speaker 1: all of it, if you're eating food from the grocery store,
- 2:36Speaker 1: your children are statistically probably weaker for you having done that.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So again, we're not talking about all of that necessarily
- 2:43Speaker 1: right now, but when you use the word unplugging, what
- 2:48Speaker 1: are you talking about?
- 2:49Speaker 2: So I use the word unplugging. Bob McGinnis used to
- 2:55Speaker 2: use the word reset.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I see. Everybody has different words for it, but everybody's
- 3:01Speaker 2: feeling it. And a lot of people, even people that
- 3:03Speaker 2: right now had no idea where this was going, they
- 3:06Speaker 2: see it, they feel it, they knew it was coming.
- 3:09Speaker 2: There's a moment, and it's not just the scenario you've
- 3:12Speaker 2: already mentioned, although that would be the lead one, where
- 3:16Speaker 2: we are suddenly we wake up. I don't know if
- 3:18Speaker 2: there's an EMP bomb that wrecked everything digital. I don't
- 3:21Speaker 2: know if some uber power that is some international force
- 3:25Speaker 2: has decided to hack something. I don't know, whatever. There's
- 3:28Speaker 2: a million different ways this could go down where all
- 3:30Speaker 2: this technology could fail. When technology fails, lives are lost,
- 3:35Speaker 2: lives are changed. There's that. But I see it in
- 3:38Speaker 2: a spiritual and an emotional sense too. We could have
- 3:42Speaker 2: technology forever and it could never go down. And we
- 3:45Speaker 2: are going to have a generation, mark my words, it
- 3:48Speaker 2: is coming. There will be a generation, there will be
- 3:51Speaker 2: a movement that is going to say, I can't take
- 3:54Speaker 2: it anymore. The technology that we built to make our
- 3:58Speaker 2: lives more convenient has enslaved me. When I sit down
- 4:03Speaker 2: at the end of the day, all I want to
- 4:04Speaker 2: do is rest for a minute, and my phone is
- 4:06Speaker 2: going bzz, bzz, bzz, ba-ding, ba-ding, ba-ding. There's somebody always wondering,
- 4:09Speaker 2: did you get that email? It's just an email. It'll
- 4:11Speaker 2: take you just five seconds to look at the email.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Somebody's always expecting something out of me, and they want
- 4:17Speaker 2: it instant, and they want it now. I am a
- 4:20Speaker 2: slave to the machine. The machines that we built to
- 4:23Speaker 2: make our lives more convenient has turned us into the
- 4:26Speaker 2: slave of the machine.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It's like Catherine. My wife is here today, by the way.
- 4:32Speaker 1: That's right. My beautiful wife, who is distracting me with
- 4:36Speaker 1: her good looks right now, is here today. And she
- 4:40Speaker 1: said during one of the breaks, the other programs we
- 4:43Speaker 1: taped earlier, she said you can't even make an appointment
- 4:46Speaker 1: with your doctor anymore without portaling in through some app
- 4:49Speaker 1: and you have to download and create an account. You know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: buying groceries online, buying things online. More and more our
- 4:56Speaker 1: telephone companies and our internet companies are asking you not
- 4:59Speaker 1: to interface with humans, but more and more of the
- 5:00Speaker 1: technology and everything's becoming streamlined and more automated. But now
- 5:04Speaker 1: also is here today, my beautiful mom, Nita Horn, who
- 5:10Speaker 1: also mentioned earlier something about the Amish, because you might
- 5:13Speaker 1: be watching this program. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That generation's already come,
- 5:16Speaker 1: Donna Howell, with your big prophetic word of knowledge. And
- 5:19Speaker 1: they're called the Amish. And my mother said... Earlier, she said,
- 5:23Speaker 1: you know, cause she knows quite a few Amish. She's
- 5:25Speaker 1: into horses. They do a lot of tack. They build
- 5:27Speaker 1: carts and things that you would use on the farm and,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and pony related activities and things. And she said, you know,
- 5:33Speaker 1: they said something very similar to what you were describing
- 5:36Speaker 1: in that today's convenience is tomorrow's enslavement or tomorrow's dependency
- 5:41Speaker 1: on that thing. So let me ask you, what are
- 5:44Speaker 1: you saying? There's going to be a larger demographic of
- 5:47Speaker 1: the people look through the lens that maybe more resembles
- 5:50Speaker 1: how the Amish already view things?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And what I was saying before was where I was
- 5:54Speaker 2: going with that is that it's going to be a
- 5:56Speaker 2: spiritual thing. It's going to be an emotional thing. There's
- 5:59Speaker 2: going to be a great unplugging based on the fact
- 6:03Speaker 2: that the people simply can't take it anymore. And so
- 6:06Speaker 2: look at how the Amish live. You mentioned the Amish.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm glad you did. I've literally got them highlighted in
- 6:10Speaker 2: my notes right here. Light bulb today, TV tomorrow. TV tomorrow,
- 6:15Speaker 2: porn next year. There is a trajectory of what one
- 6:19Speaker 2: generation allows in moderation, the next generation allows in excess.
- 6:24Speaker 2: This has been the rule since Adam and Eve.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It's true.
- 6:29Speaker 2: And yet look at how they live. They say, if
- 6:31Speaker 2: we start this... There it goes. We'll lose control. It
- 6:34Speaker 2: gets out of control. We laugh at them now. Seriously,
- 6:38Speaker 2: I have friends and relationships that I would be in Missouri.
- 6:42Speaker 2: They're kind of all over the place, especially in the
- 6:45Speaker 2: outskirts of Branson. If you're driving around in Missouri, you
- 6:48Speaker 2: will eventually see them. They're in their little horse and buggy.
- 6:51Speaker 2: And literally, there's no engine. There's no cell phone. They're
- 6:54Speaker 2: living and going down the road in a horse-drawn cart.
- 6:58Speaker 2: And we look at that, and it's like it was
- 7:00Speaker 2: from another world. We feel like we've been pulled into
- 7:02Speaker 2: a movie from the 1800s or.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Something, a story from the 1800s.
- 7:06Speaker 2: We've had a lot of visitors from out of town
- 7:08Speaker 2: in the line of work that we've done. And I've
- 7:10Speaker 2: heard the people that have been in the car with
- 7:11Speaker 2: me on occasion, they look at that, and they're like,
- 7:14Speaker 2: they don't even, like, How do they get light? Well,
- 7:17Speaker 2: they light candles. Well, what about how do they cook?
- 7:21Speaker 2: They build a fire and put a kettle over it.
- 7:23Speaker 2: That's like they can't even fathom that these people. But this,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I believe, is the unplugging that is coming. And I
- 7:30Speaker 2: think that there will be people, and I almost want
- 7:32Speaker 2: to just say, I reserve the right to change my
- 7:35Speaker 2: mind later, but I want to be one of the
- 7:38Speaker 2: first to sign up for that.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Can we please go?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Off this slave grid. I'm not talking about the land
- 7:45Speaker 2: grid so much. I don't even care if somebody has
- 7:48Speaker 2: a cell phone, but I want out. I want out
- 7:51Speaker 2: of this thing that says just because some rando that
- 7:53Speaker 2: I haven't talked to for 30 years somehow got my
- 7:56Speaker 2: information from a social media site online. They've somehow managed
- 8:00Speaker 2: to get it through my phone and I'm trying to
- 8:02Speaker 2: spend time with my children and somebody is over here
- 8:05Speaker 2: wondering why I haven't responded to them yet. Even 20
- 8:09Speaker 2: years ago, they could call and leave a message, but
- 8:11Speaker 2: I am not a slave to that. And people are
- 8:13Speaker 2: going to get to a point where they're going to say,
- 8:15Speaker 2: I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. So yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 2: EMP bomb takes down technology. That's all possible too. But
- 8:21Speaker 2: this movement is coming and it is going to be
- 8:24Speaker 2: people of all ages. I'll tell you my kids. My
- 8:28Speaker 2: kids are teenagers, and I have a feeling they'd be
- 8:30Speaker 2: one of the first ones to sign up too. I'm
- 8:33Speaker 2: not afraid of hard work, Mom. I'll chop the wood, Mom.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I'll change the horseshoe, Mom. I'll do whatever I got
- 8:39Speaker 2: to do. I'll train the horse. I'll shear the sheep.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I'll do whatever I got to do. But there's a
- 8:43Speaker 2: part of even my own children that are like, ah,
- 8:46Speaker 2: I'm so barraged by this. So we laugh at the
- 8:49Speaker 2: Amish today. But if anything were to take down the
- 8:52Speaker 2: tech of tomorrow, guess who the only survivors would be?
- 8:55Speaker 2: We've lost all this knowledge. We just talked about this
- 8:57Speaker 2: on another episode the other day. Now, I want to
- 8:59Speaker 2: say that the people who join this movement, the people
- 9:01Speaker 2: who begin this movement, they're not going to be anti-technology Luddites.
- 9:05Speaker 2: The point is not the technology. They merely reject the
- 9:08Speaker 2: idea that technology would dictate to us the terms of
- 9:13Speaker 2: human existence. They reject that. They acknowledge immediately, this is
- 9:18Speaker 2: not what I was born to be. Put God aside
- 9:21Speaker 2: for just a second. People who don't believe in God, whatever,
- 9:25Speaker 2: they look at themselves, they see biological material. I have hands,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I have flesh, I move, I'm not a bot. And
- 9:32Speaker 2: immediately there is a disconnect from the whole world that
- 9:35Speaker 2: is taking over them right now. They are going to
- 9:37Speaker 2: find themselves in a position to say, regardless of whether
- 9:40Speaker 2: or not a person believes in God, regardless of whether
- 9:42Speaker 2: or not a person belongs to a certain ideology or conviction,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I am human and that means something to my biology.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I need something more than this. It's coming. They're going
- 9:51Speaker 2: to unplug. this is going to happen. So at this point,
- 9:56Speaker 2: I will say, what might we gain from something like this, right?
- 10:01Speaker 2: First of all, there's the human connection. We talked about
- 10:03Speaker 2: that again. There's so many people right now, they're searching
- 10:06Speaker 2: for something that is deeper than a chat room, than
- 10:10Speaker 2: a text, even FaceTime. It's not real to them anymore.
- 10:15Speaker 2: And they want this old thing called a hug to
- 10:18Speaker 2: which I know most people don't know what that means anymore,
- 10:20Speaker 2: but a hog is when two people put their arms
- 10:23Speaker 2: around each other and embrace, and there is actually a physiological,
- 10:26Speaker 2: we should do the science on this one day, there
- 10:28Speaker 2: is a physiological and emotional connection that happens. It is
- 10:31Speaker 2: a dopamine release. It is something that chemically, on the
- 10:35Speaker 2: inside of your biology, your body comes to life with something.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It's called affection. It's called receiving and giving of affection.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And people don't even know that there's a science to that.
- 10:45Speaker 2: They don't know. They just think it's a touchy-feely thing
- 10:47Speaker 2: they saw on a movie once. Lots of young people
- 10:49Speaker 2: are in homes where there is no trading of affection.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Everybody is sitting there doing this all day long. When
- 10:57Speaker 2: was the last time that you received a hug that
- 10:58Speaker 2: didn't come attached with something negative? When was the last
- 11:01Speaker 2: time that you just got a hug just for the
- 11:03Speaker 2: sake of a hug? They are going to want that connection.
- 11:06Speaker 2: They're going to feel the void of that connection. They
- 11:10Speaker 2: are coming. That's where they're going. We've lost imagination.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You too.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Let's go another direction for a second. Do you remember
- 11:17Speaker 2: the tithing envelopes in church? I do.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Okay. I remember they were not tithing envelopes for me
- 11:23Speaker 1: as a child.
- 11:24Speaker 2: They were what?
- 11:25Speaker 3: A canvas?
- 11:26Speaker 1: They were a canvas. They were a canvas. So you
- 11:29Speaker 1: would sit there in church and just doodle on the
- 11:31Speaker 1: little envelope. You weren't thoughtful enough to bring a notepad.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So you would just say, hey, there's that. Hey, mom,
- 11:36Speaker 1: can I borrow a pen? And the next thing you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you're doodling on the tithing envelope.
- 11:40Speaker 2: From the youngest age right now, when you hand a
- 11:43Speaker 2: toddler a cell phone and just, you know, you're out
- 11:46Speaker 2: to eat, they've got to entertain them with something. That's okay.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Maybe you can justify that. And then you're at home
- 11:52Speaker 2: and you're trying to talk to your mom on the phone,
- 11:54Speaker 2: so you give them a tablet. That's justified because of
- 11:56Speaker 2: this and this, this. Okay, and then the next few minutes,
- 11:59Speaker 2: somebody knocks on the door and you've got somebody who's
- 12:01Speaker 2: wanting to do something about, you know, a mechanical thing
- 12:03Speaker 2: going on outside, so you hand them the tablet again.
- 12:06Speaker 2: pretty soon you're relying so heavily on the fact that
- 12:08Speaker 2: this toddler knows how to swipe left before they know
- 12:11Speaker 2: how to speak. They can't even pronounce the first word
- 12:14Speaker 2: in the English language, but they know how to swipe
- 12:16Speaker 2: left to get to the next video. Their brain is
- 12:19Speaker 2: firing constantly. Another thing, another thing, bored of that, bored
- 12:22Speaker 2: of that, swipe left, swipe left. There's a kind of
- 12:25Speaker 2: editing that's even taken over. I don't know if you've
- 12:27Speaker 2: noticed it on YouTube, but it's like it cuts off
- 12:31Speaker 2: before you would even expect it to, and it's on
- 12:33Speaker 2: to the next, on to the next, on to the
- 12:34Speaker 2: next thing. Sometimes they even interrupt what they're even saying.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Cutting the last.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Syllable off of a word just to get to the
- 12:41Speaker 1: next thing faster.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Right. And sometimes, you know, when we were younger, it
- 12:45Speaker 2: was called America's Funniest Videos, but now they're called fails.
- 12:48Speaker 2: But on YouTube, there's these things called fails, and you
- 12:50Speaker 2: can look them up or whatever, and it's like somebody
- 12:52Speaker 2: falls or, you know, something breaks or whatever, and it's
- 12:56Speaker 2: these funny videos. But I've noticed that even with the
- 12:58Speaker 2: fail videos, they cut to the next one before– Like,
- 13:03Speaker 2: you know, before the guy who's falling makes contact with
- 13:05Speaker 2: the ground. Before the cake that was getting ready to
- 13:07Speaker 2: fall in the river even touches the water. They swipe
- 13:09Speaker 2: to the next one. There's a swipe, swipe, swipe, swipe.
- 13:12Speaker 2: It happens so fast. We are, again, short-circuiting the psychology
- 13:17Speaker 2: that has made us human. The toddler in the room
- 13:20Speaker 2: has no imagination. Listen, you don't understand how devastating that is.
- 13:25Speaker 2: They have no imagination whatsoever. They were never given a
- 13:29Speaker 2: minute to decide for themselves what they like, what they think,
- 13:32Speaker 2: contemplate something. They're just going, going, going. And it's one
- 13:37Speaker 2: thing after another. The connection to nature and outdoors. Do
- 13:41Speaker 2: we even care anymore about trees, grass, vitamin D from
- 13:46Speaker 2: the sunlight? Nobody has any connection to nature. Now, listen,
- 13:52Speaker 2: I'm preaching to myself here to some degree because If
- 13:55Speaker 2: I could have my house the way I would have it,
- 13:58Speaker 2: there would be no grass. I would just pave everything.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I don't like messing with mowing the lawn and gardening
- 14:05Speaker 2: and all this stuff. Like I'm the biggest hypocrite in
- 14:06Speaker 2: the world when I'm saying all of this, except for
- 14:09Speaker 2: the fact that at least I can do this. I
- 14:11Speaker 2: can go outside and I can see a sunset and go, wow, God,
- 14:14Speaker 2: you did that. I can go outside and see, listen,
- 14:18Speaker 2: there's a difference between calendar photos and being there in person.
- 14:21Speaker 2: We come from Oregon. I've seen the ocean. You go
- 14:25Speaker 2: to a doctor's office or a church or whatever, there's
- 14:27Speaker 2: photos of the ocean everywhere. But until you're standing there
- 14:31Speaker 2: and you hear it and you feel it and you
- 14:33Speaker 2: feel the breezes and you smell the salt and you
- 14:37Speaker 2: feel just that flicker of the foam that kicked up.
- 14:40Speaker 2: And you're looking around and there's the sand everywhere. It's
- 14:44Speaker 2: in that moment that you're going, oh, the universe is
- 14:48Speaker 2: so big. And we are, as Earth, the pale blue
- 14:53Speaker 2: dot in a vast universe. God, whoa, he's big.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I have felt that, yeah. And then you think about
- 15:00Speaker 1: how small the Earth is when you scale back pictures
- 15:03Speaker 1: of NASA has shown however many hundreds of thousands of
- 15:06Speaker 1: miles away from the Earth. And then you say, but
- 15:08Speaker 1: this is Earth. And it's like a speck of sand.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Then you really feel like super tiny and that God
- 15:14Speaker 1: is super huge.
- 15:16Speaker 3: It's awe-inspiring for sure.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Well, ladies and gentlemen, before we go any further, if

- 16:39Speaker 2: When we go out and we feel that awe-inspiring connection
- 16:42Speaker 2: with nature, I'm not saying that a person has to
- 16:45Speaker 2: go now become a gardener or they have to go
- 16:48Speaker 2: get a job working a tractor outdoors. I'm saying that
- 16:51Speaker 2: even if you don't care anything about nature as society
- 16:54Speaker 2: has defined that up to this point, being completely disconnected
- 16:58Speaker 2: from it, it's not good. You're not getting the vitamin
- 17:01Speaker 2: D from the sun that you need. You're not putting
- 17:03Speaker 2: your feet on the grass You know, go touch grass,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I've heard people say. It's hilarious to me, but it's
- 17:09Speaker 2: so true. Reconnecting with the world outside of digitech is
- 17:14Speaker 2: so incredibly important for your health. Speaking of health, we
- 17:17Speaker 2: get into another thing that can be gained by this movement,
- 17:20Speaker 2: the avoidance of Western medical and scientific horrors. Now, without
- 17:24Speaker 2: going into what these things are, There's all kinds of
- 17:27Speaker 2: stuff going on with pharmaceuticals. There's all kinds of junk
- 17:30Speaker 2: being put in the food. There's this thing called the
- 17:32Speaker 2: cascade of medical intervention. And it goes like this. I
- 17:36Speaker 2: took this drug because I needed it because I had
- 17:38Speaker 2: this symptom, but this has 10 side effects. I've got
- 17:40Speaker 2: to take 10 more meds to subvert the side effects,
- 17:43Speaker 2: which means pretty soon I'm taking 20 things a day.
- 17:47Speaker 2: The cascade of medical intervention begins because I decided to
- 17:51Speaker 2: go ahead and take 100% trust in the Western route.
- 17:55Speaker 2: We on this show often cover how things in the
- 17:59Speaker 2: Western world as far as science and medicine is doing
- 18:02Speaker 2: all kinds of harmful things to our body. The unplugging.
- 18:06Speaker 2: There's going to be a lot of people who learn
- 18:07Speaker 2: to live off the land, and guess what? God's medicine
- 18:10Speaker 2: that comes out of the leafy greens and the plants
- 18:13Speaker 2: and the vegetables that God himself is raising up from
- 18:16Speaker 2: the ground organically, biologically, that is going to nurture your
- 18:21Speaker 2: body in such a way that you might find out
- 18:23Speaker 2: that some of those symptoms you were worried about before
- 18:25Speaker 2: are taken care of simply because, by default, You stopped
- 18:29Speaker 2: eating pizza, drinking beer, and having a cigarette every five
- 18:32Speaker 2: minutes because you unplugged. You went into what was natural. Now,
- 18:36Speaker 2: there's going to be different ways that this movement goes.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Some will be extreme. They'll go completely off-grid. And then
- 18:41Speaker 2: some will be more subtle where they'll still allow a
- 18:43Speaker 2: PC in the home, but they're really going to focus
- 18:45Speaker 2: on family time. But the movement is coming, and it'll
- 18:47Speaker 2: probably be multifaceted in a lot of ways. We will
- 18:50Speaker 2: also gain practical life skills. Grandma's going to teach us
- 18:53Speaker 2: how to cook again, how to quilt. You know what
- 18:55Speaker 2: a quilting team used to be? You know what a
- 18:57Speaker 2: quilting club used to be? These women in these churches
- 19:01Speaker 2: would get together and they would quilt together. They would
- 19:04Speaker 2: share stories. They would visit. And every once in a while,
- 19:07Speaker 2: a young person like my mom, who is sitting in
- 19:10Speaker 2: the audience today, this is part of her testimony, will
- 19:12Speaker 2: wander into that church. And somebody says, hey, do you
- 19:15Speaker 2: want to come quilt with us? All we're doing is
- 19:17Speaker 2: pulling string and thread. It's not like you've got to
- 19:19Speaker 2: know anything or be fancy. You can come in your
- 19:21Speaker 2: jeans and a t-shirt. And these young women like my
- 19:24Speaker 2: mom show up. And what they notice is at first
- 19:26Speaker 2: it's all about quilting. Here's how to do this stitch
- 19:28Speaker 2: for four and a half minutes. But then these women
- 19:32Speaker 2: start sharing. Hey, you know what? I noticed that your
- 19:35Speaker 2: little kid's being fussy. She might be teething because, and
- 19:39Speaker 2: then boom, boom, boom, boom, all these maternal instincts kick in.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And then five minutes later, they're talking about some recipe. Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 19:45Speaker 2: You don't want to put cardamom in that. What you're
- 19:47Speaker 2: going to want to do is a black pepper that
- 19:48Speaker 2: comes from you see what's happening all of a sudden
- 19:51Speaker 2: there's like life is happening and we're learning from the
- 19:54Speaker 2: previous generation that's what a quilting club used to be
- 19:58Speaker 2: we are going to have practical skills clubs community community
- 20:03Speaker 2: is coming back That is what will come with this unplugging.
- 20:07Speaker 2: So listen, if you're at home and you're listening to
- 20:08Speaker 2: all of this and you're going, yeah, I'm kind of
- 20:10Speaker 2: tempted by that too, there's a lot of good that
- 20:14Speaker 2: will come from unplugging from society and all that that implies,
- 20:19Speaker 2: all of the slavery that we have to the machine,
- 20:21Speaker 2: to the AI, to the computer, to the cell phone.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I want to unplug to the pace of life, yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So there's a lot there that you said that could
- 20:29Speaker 1: be responded to. There will be people watching this program
- 20:32Speaker 1: that are like, I don't want to raise my hand
- 20:34Speaker 1: to live off grid. And I'm just being honest. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: like my computer. I like my car. I like my
- 20:39Speaker 1: kids being able to go online and do online college.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I like some of this technology. And so I would
- 20:45Speaker 1: say this. There's things about what you just said that are,
- 20:48Speaker 1: to me, irrefutably going to happen. I don't know that
- 20:52Speaker 1: they come as something that a lot of people massively
- 20:56Speaker 1: in droves elect to participate in. That takes a special
- 21:00Speaker 1: kind of person. You are seeing some growth, though. in
- 21:03Speaker 1: farmer's markets and people's interest in living organically. And some
- 21:06Speaker 1: of that is because they've seen what Babylonian medicine is
- 21:09Speaker 1: doing and they're not happy about it. And they're looking
- 21:12Speaker 1: now toward God's medicine, whether they would give him credit
- 21:15Speaker 1: for it or not. They might say the earth is
- 21:18Speaker 1: what provides us with the nourishment and the sustenance we need.
- 21:22Speaker 1: They might not give God credit for it, but it's
- 21:24Speaker 1: his medicine. But I just want to say I am
- 21:26Speaker 1: in the camp of agreement with you that this movement
- 21:29Speaker 1: will probably happen. I am a person that believes it
- 21:32Speaker 1: will probably happen later by mandate. The grid goes down,
- 21:37Speaker 1: something happens governmentally, and people are literally now, in order
- 21:40Speaker 1: to live in a planet where they are trading eggs
- 21:43Speaker 1: with their neighbors, unable to buy from the system because
- 21:46Speaker 1: they will not receive a mark. forced offline. Does that
- 21:50Speaker 1: make sense? Absolutely. I don't know how popular, like if
- 21:53Speaker 1: you were to put a poll out, how many of
- 21:54Speaker 1: you want to lose everything today and go live in
- 21:56Speaker 1: a cave? Obviously I'm being facetious that the poll is
- 21:59Speaker 1: going to be like, you know, 3% people. Yeah. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: like the cave. 97% of people are going to say,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I really kind of like my stuff. So here's what
- 22:06Speaker 1: I would say. I don't think that all of technology
- 22:10Speaker 1: is evil. We're doing a program right now that stands
- 22:15Speaker 1: to get thousands and thousands of views. people hearing the gospel,
- 22:19Speaker 1: hearing the good news of God's medicine. I would not
- 22:22Speaker 1: be able to do this broadcast were we off-grid living
- 22:25Speaker 1: in a cave. Now, God would open other doors, and
- 22:27Speaker 1: if he had ordained this moment to happen, I might
- 22:29Speaker 1: be in a small tribe of family members, and maybe
- 22:32Speaker 1: I'm the leader out in the middle of nowhere with
- 22:33Speaker 1: 12 of my family. And maybe for that moment, this
- 22:36Speaker 1: is God's near return, and we're not going to get
- 22:39Speaker 1: into pre-, post-, mid-tribulation today in the timing of the rapture.
- 22:43Speaker 1: That's not what this program is. The point is there
- 22:45Speaker 1: could be some very hard times. in my view, before
- 22:48Speaker 1: he returns. Much harder than the ones we're seeing now.
- 22:52Speaker 1: So I think of it like AI. I think of
- 22:55Speaker 1: it like a computer. So let's just use a computer.
- 22:58Speaker 1: A computer can enable illegal content that I won't say
- 23:01Speaker 1: out loud because it'll throw the algorithm. But let's just
- 23:04Speaker 1: say adult triple X, really bad type content that people
- 23:10Speaker 1: become highly addicted to and it destroys families and marriages.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I've written about this. That's where a computer... can enable
- 23:17Speaker 1: horrifically demonic activity, the pursuit of illegal images that involve
- 23:22Speaker 1: underage children, the things that are federal crimes. It's not
- 23:26Speaker 1: the computer that is evil because the same PC in
- 23:30Speaker 1: a different person's hand could be used to go to
- 23:32Speaker 1: Berean Bible College online so that I can go preach
- 23:35Speaker 1: the gospel, right? And I see bits of AI that way.
- 23:39Speaker 1: AI can enhance the expediency in which I'm able to
- 23:43Speaker 1: do research or find something specific about an herb or
- 23:46Speaker 1: what have you. But it can also be used to manufacture, again,
- 23:50Speaker 1: adult content and go down lots of other slippery slopes
- 23:53Speaker 1: or provide a place for dark web content to be manufactured,
- 23:57Speaker 1: the things that I've also written about. So I don't
- 24:00Speaker 1: think that it's all of tech is evil and all
- 24:02Speaker 1: of it is Babylonian and all of it is being
- 24:04Speaker 1: used by Lucifer. Right. I think that tech allows for
- 24:09Speaker 1: the mass distribution of lots of stuff, whether that be
- 24:12Speaker 1: evil or for good. Pastors doing live streams through Facebook.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Disabled people unable to leave their care facility are able
- 24:20Speaker 1: to tune into their favorite pastor, that kind of stuff.
- 24:23Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna belabor that. It really speaks for itself.
- 24:25Speaker 1: So what I see is, I see God is in
- 24:27Speaker 1: control of the timing of this event that you're describing.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I don't see a lot of people rushing toward it
- 24:33Speaker 1: voluntarily until society begins to break down so obviously. And
- 24:39Speaker 1: I am telling you, in a planet where someone unaliving
- 24:43Speaker 1: their children and being celebrated by certain political groups for
- 24:47Speaker 1: the unaliving of their own children, I think these are
- 24:50Speaker 1: the signs and symptoms of a society that is losing
- 24:53Speaker 1: its mind when what is good is considered evil and
- 24:56Speaker 1: what is evil is considered good, right? I agree that
- 25:00Speaker 1: that overall things like AI and technology, because here's the thing,
- 25:06Speaker 1: people are inherently wired to satiate one's self. So at
- 25:12Speaker 1: the end of this, you'll have those standing for good,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and then you'll have the vast surplus of Lucifer's planet
- 25:18Speaker 1: pursuing evil, right? So at some point, the vast majority
- 25:23Speaker 1: of its uses will progressively become more and more evil
- 25:26Speaker 1: and and more and more designed to self-gratify and open
- 25:30Speaker 1: up the lanes of traffic that allow the easier access
- 25:35Speaker 1: to the darker parts of society and the dependency on technology.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That's another huge part of this. Some of it is
- 25:43Speaker 1: there to enable our preaching, et cetera, but some of
- 25:45Speaker 1: it is the unavoidable dependency that we're creating. There are
- 25:48Speaker 1: aspects of this machine, what I'm always calling Babylon, that
- 25:52Speaker 1: have gravitous negatives and are overall marching us toward the
- 25:57Speaker 1: antichrist system, and this moment that you're talking about with
- 26:01Speaker 1: the earthers self-electing to unplug. So I don't know if
- 26:05Speaker 1: that represents you today. Maybe you're one that's a bit
- 26:09Speaker 1: more that way. I'm not sure as I'm as excited
- 26:12Speaker 1: about unplugging as Donna Howell, but I will say not
- 26:16Speaker 1: only is it coming, and I agree with you on that,
- 26:19Speaker 1: it will be when God allows and he has removed
- 26:21Speaker 1: his restrainers and then there will be a time where
- 26:25Speaker 1: people either by electing to join the Earthers and unplugging
- 26:29Speaker 1: or literally cannot buy or sell without integrating out of
- 26:33Speaker 1: that network. Right.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I'm a little bit tempted.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I have been tempted as a parent. It's been on
- 26:39Speaker 3: my mind a lot lately where, so my son is
- 26:41Speaker 3: only allowed an hour of video games and he likes
- 26:43Speaker 3: to play the PC. But there are times when you're like,
- 26:46Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure you've been there for two hours and
- 26:49Speaker 3: he'll show me the timer. Oh, you know, I still
- 26:51Speaker 3: got 15 minutes left. I did this and I did that.
- 26:53Speaker 3: And But there are times, especially when my husband goes
- 26:57Speaker 3: to change a tire and he has to drag him
- 26:59Speaker 3: with him to make him learn how to do basic
- 27:02Speaker 3: car maintenance. But he wants to be in front of
- 27:04Speaker 3: the screen. I want to take that power cord and
- 27:06Speaker 3: cut it up so bad. I have been incredibly tempted
- 27:10Speaker 3: to do that. And I see it happening when I
- 27:12Speaker 3: talk to my daughter and she's in high school. So
- 27:15Speaker 3: we're navigating different social interactions and I'll say things. that
- 27:20Speaker 3: maybe you should handle it this way. And she's like, no,
- 27:22Speaker 3: kids nowadays, we just don't do things like that. They're
- 27:25Speaker 3: losing some of that human connection and the way they
- 27:28Speaker 3: even navigate these different dramatic situations is so incredibly different.
- 27:35Speaker 3: And I'm thinking if we're losing touch with each other,
- 27:38Speaker 3: with human touch, with that connection, we're lacking mentors and
- 27:43Speaker 3: we're kind of segregating ourselves from that. How much easier
- 27:46Speaker 3: is it to segregate ourselves from God. There is something
- 27:49Speaker 3: about that human connection, that deeper understanding that opens up
- 27:54Speaker 3: this connection and this idea to relate to God. But
- 27:57Speaker 3: if we are not relating with each other, then we
- 27:59Speaker 3: also cannot relate with God. And so I see the
- 28:03Speaker 3: devastation happening. And I am like you. I am also
- 28:05Speaker 3: tempted to just go completely off grid, rip it all out.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I'm done.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Well, we're born in the image of God. In theology,
- 28:11Speaker 2: that's called the imago Dei. And having that in common,
- 28:15Speaker 2: that is how it functions. What you're picking up on
- 28:17Speaker 2: is actually a theological absolute. It means we connect as humans,
- 28:22Speaker 2: and when we see the good in each other, we
- 28:24Speaker 2: realize that is a portion of what we've inherited from God.
- 28:28Speaker 2: And so I love that you said that. And that's
- 28:30Speaker 2: why I wanted to kind of take a different take
- 28:32Speaker 2: on this. I know that a lot of the different
- 28:34Speaker 2: programming that our family and our ministry has been involved
- 28:37Speaker 2: in in the past has dealt with this. Is the
- 28:40Speaker 2: unplugging coming? Is the humanities reset coming? And we go
- 28:43Speaker 2: straight to the book of Revelation and Mark of the
- 28:45Speaker 2: Beast and a mandatory wall between us and the technology
- 28:48Speaker 2: that we use. perceived to be the tech that's going
- 28:50Speaker 2: to save us or give us any kind of function.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And so we do, we go there a lot with
- 28:54Speaker 2: the end of the world, apocalypse, all these things. But
- 28:57Speaker 2: that's why I wanted to take it. To the moms
- 29:00Speaker 2: out there, I wanted to take it to an emotional,
- 29:03Speaker 2: a spiritual place. for this episode and just kind of
- 29:06Speaker 2: focus on how many people out there don't even buy
- 29:08Speaker 2: the end of the world, they think all of it's hogwash,
- 29:12Speaker 2: they don't even know what they believe about God yet,
- 29:14Speaker 2: but they do get, they are a slave to their
- 29:16Speaker 2: phone and they want it to stop. And that part
- 29:18Speaker 2: of them is just like, I don't know about the
- 29:20Speaker 2: rest of that complicated stuff, but emotionally and spiritually, Regardless
- 29:24Speaker 2: of what their spiritual ideology is, they want to unplug.
- 29:27Speaker 2: And that is coming. That's going to be a thing.
- 29:29Speaker 2: So all of these, whether it is elective or whether
- 29:32Speaker 2: it is mandatory, an unplugging is coming. And it will
- 29:37Speaker 2: not take long, but I have a warning. a very
- 29:40Speaker 2: significant warning. I have spent a significant amount of time
- 29:46Speaker 2: studying the social dynamics of cults. When people unplug from
- 29:52Speaker 2: society and they go and build a community that is different,
- 29:56Speaker 2: That is primary for cult behavior, primary territory for cult behavior.
- 30:03Speaker 2: So I'm not suggesting that this big unplugging movement is
- 30:07Speaker 2: all going to be cults, but I'm telling you there
- 30:09Speaker 2: will be very dangerous cults that do spring up from this.
- 30:12Speaker 2: So be mindful as you are at home and you're
- 30:15Speaker 2: thinking about this and you're making your list of your
- 30:17Speaker 2: non-negotiables and what would you do and what community do
- 30:20Speaker 2: you want to be a part of? What are you
- 30:22Speaker 2: planning for the end of the world, the Antichrist? However
- 30:25Speaker 2: it is that your ideology suits this picture, be mindful
- 30:29Speaker 2: when unplugging. also equals dangerous isolation. So here's the warning.
- 30:36Speaker 2: You might even be sitting at home and going, what
- 30:38Speaker 2: did she just say? That communities are going to become
- 30:40Speaker 2: a cult? Yeah, right, that's going to happen. No, 1,000
- 30:43Speaker 2: people drank the Kool-Aid in the People's Temple in Jim Jones,
- 30:47Speaker 2: and 1,000 people were found dead in the island towns
- 30:50Speaker 2: out in Guyana. This has happened before. We know that
- 30:53Speaker 2: when you get isolated from the widespread community, your territory,
- 30:59Speaker 2: when you get isolated from that, leaders tend to pop up. Little,
- 31:04Speaker 2: you know, egotistical people who want control, who are willing
- 31:08Speaker 2: to exploit other people. Call it a cult, don't call
- 31:11Speaker 2: it a cult. Call it a bad community, whatever you
- 31:13Speaker 2: want to call it. Be mindful of the following things.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You must retain your agency. So just think about this
- 31:19Speaker 2: and There's going to be people. I just know this.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Somebody's going to get a hold of this message, and
- 31:25Speaker 2: they're going to remember this. I don't care if it's
- 31:27Speaker 2: five years or 50 years from now. Somebody's going to
- 31:29Speaker 2: remember this. Do you retain your agency? Can you question
- 31:34Speaker 2: the leadership around you? This should be for any community,
- 31:37Speaker 2: but especially ones that are isolated from the rest of
- 31:40Speaker 2: the world. Can you question leadership? Can you maintain relationships
- 31:45Speaker 2: outside the group? Do you have to surrender things? Your name,
- 31:50Speaker 2: for instance, or tech that you want to hold on to,
- 31:54Speaker 2: an emergency phone. Can you make decisions for you and
- 31:57Speaker 2: your family? Can you leave without being punished or ostracized?
- 32:01Speaker 2: So that's it. Just think about what is it that
- 32:04Speaker 2: you hear when you think about the worst cult you've
- 32:07Speaker 2: ever heard of and all of the dangerous mind games
- 32:10Speaker 2: that happen, the exploitation, the Charles Mansons of the group.
- 32:14Speaker 2: When you see that, And now if you're going to
- 32:18Speaker 2: move into a different kind of community, always keep that
- 32:22Speaker 2: at the forefront of your mind. That should be true
- 32:24Speaker 2: for every community and every church, whether technology is a
- 32:27Speaker 2: part of it or not, but it's especially going to
- 32:29Speaker 2: be important when these movements happen.
- 32:36Speaker 3: You've really inspired me. And in fact, I think this
- 32:39Speaker 3: week I'm going to give up something that maybe I've
- 32:42Speaker 3: become a little too dependent on. And I would encourage
- 32:45Speaker 3: our viewers to do that too. Maybe give up social
- 32:47Speaker 3: media for a week. Maybe do some fasting from the TV.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Give something up that you've become really reliant on and
- 32:56Speaker 3: see what that does for you. Maybe it opens up
- 32:58Speaker 3: your mind, gives you some clarity and allows you to
- 33:01Speaker 3: connect deeper with God.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Did you guys learn something today? What about you at home?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Did you learn something? Well, it is always our intention
- 33:10Speaker 1: that you get something out of every program. We're so
- 33:12Speaker 1: grateful that you joined us again here. Unfortunately, we're all
- 33:15Speaker 1: out of time for everybody here in studio. Jamie, Donna,
- 33:17Speaker 1: thank you so much for being right here at Life
