- 2:13Speaker 1: Now I have to ask you, as I do I
- 2:15Speaker 1: try to before every recap, Hendy, do you have any
- 2:18Speaker 1: takeaways after you watch that shit show?
- 2:20Speaker 2: I just love how Cody was saying at the very
- 2:23Speaker 2: beginning of the episode.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Like, God, these tail alls are just a bunch of antagonistic,
- 2:30Speaker 3: backstabbing bullshit, And I just really hope that we can remember,
- 2:34Speaker 3: like the forgiveness that we've started. I just really want
- 2:37Speaker 3: to cultivate that, make sure that it remains that way.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Like you're the cause of it.
- 2:42Speaker 1: As soon as you sit down in the seat, you
- 2:44Speaker 1: are aggressive.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I mean. And in the previous for the next tell
- 2:48Speaker 2: alls where he starts crashing out about the affair and everything,
- 2:51Speaker 2: I'm like, dude.
- 2:52Speaker 1: There's one person bringing the agro energy cody, and it's you.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It's you. I have a takeaways, Well, I have three takeaways. Okay,
- 2:59Speaker 1: try and whittle it down first and foremost, and please
- 3:02Speaker 1: don't come for me, and let us all accept the
- 3:04Speaker 1: idea of the concept that we can have differing opinions
- 3:07Speaker 1: but still live peacefully in a dumpster together. Sure, so
- 3:11Speaker 1: Janelle totally did that shit. You can't tell me Janelle
- 3:14Speaker 1: didn't do that shit. Now I am an expert after
- 3:17Speaker 1: all these years some planet Earth wow with body language
- 3:21Speaker 1: and people, many years too, with body language and people.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And I was watching her when she was answering her
- 3:27Speaker 1: shifty little eyes, the way that she stammered, the way
- 3:31Speaker 1: that she kind of contextualized things when she's like, well,
- 3:35Speaker 1: my lawyer told me, like, see what you can do
- 3:37Speaker 1: to get the deal done, and so yeah, I told
- 3:39Speaker 1: Cody that, meaning she did initiate the conversation. She is
- 3:43Speaker 1: the one who brought it up with Cody and said, hey,
- 3:45Speaker 1: my lawyer is advising this, and so maybe is there
- 3:47Speaker 1: something we can do to get this deal done. I
- 3:50Speaker 1: one hundred believe that Janelle was a shady bitch to marry.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Now was it justified?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 3:58Speaker 1: But I mean, if what you're telling me is the
- 4:01Speaker 1: reason Mary wasn't moving in the negotiations was because they
- 4:05Speaker 1: put an NDA in front of her and she was like,
- 4:08Speaker 1: absolutely not, I'm going to kill this deal because I'm
- 4:11Speaker 1: not going to sign that. Then I have nothing but
- 4:13Speaker 1: respect for Mary, and Janelle should have been her ally
- 4:17Speaker 1: in that moment.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I mean, good point.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I just think it was I just think I do
- 4:21Speaker 1: think it was Janelle.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I believe Cody, you believe that it was an actual
- 4:24Speaker 2: backdoor deal, like a deal that they were really trying
- 4:27Speaker 2: to put through.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Well, as I said before, I don't think they ever
- 4:31Speaker 1: developed it. It's not like they walk through the process.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I do believe that Janelle probably proposed it. I think
- 4:37Speaker 1: Cody is just diabolical enough to entertain it and think
- 4:41Speaker 1: it over and maybe they talked about it a little bit,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but then at the end of the day, Janelle was like,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know what, but I would prefer if we could
- 4:47Speaker 1: work this out amicably. But I think she was definitely
- 4:52Speaker 1: thinking about it. That's my takeaway. Second takeaway, Robin's looking rough, girl,
- 4:57Speaker 1: Robin's looking rough. And that's the thing about demons. And
- 4:59Speaker 1: I'm also like a demonologist, like when you allow demons
- 5:03Speaker 1: to inhabit your body, huh. I mean you can try
- 5:05Speaker 1: to hide it from the rest of us, but like
- 5:07Speaker 1: we can see with our eyes. Yeah, it starts coming
- 5:10Speaker 1: out of the pores, and you start looking like a demon.
- 5:13Speaker 1: There was just some dark energy, yeah from her Dowdy,
- 5:16Speaker 1: like just darker in the face, just hard or more
- 5:19Speaker 1: angry in the face. I'm telling you that demon, I
- 5:24Speaker 1: mean that legion.
- 5:26Speaker 2: She's looking coming out so rough man. Like I said
- 5:29Speaker 2: last week, she's the youngest one here and she looks horrible.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Wow. And I'm like literally, I'm literally like focusing on
- 5:37Speaker 1: the energy of it. But like I'm just saying, I
- 5:40Speaker 1: was like, whoa, that's what I'm saying too. And I
- 5:41Speaker 1: think there were some people on Facebook. I know I
- 5:44Speaker 1: sent you. I'll put it up right here, and like
- 5:46Speaker 1: these boomer ladies on Facebook and I'm on Facebook, so
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm one of them boomer ladies. But like just coming
- 5:51Speaker 1: for Robinson, ye honey, and how she dresses and her fascione.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Well, because it's terrible, but yes it is.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's it's not a good look.
- 5:59Speaker 2: For it's terrible, but I love that for us.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I kind of love it as well. And my third
- 6:04Speaker 1: take was that, oh my god, Mary's eyes are so gorgeos.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, she's a nice.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Smaller that's currulyan blue, the Caribbean blue of it. Oh god,
- 6:16Speaker 1: just gorgeous eyes.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It helps to be free from Cody and Robin. Yes,
- 6:21Speaker 2: then you get the life back in you.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That is exactly right. Yeah. So those are my thoughts.
- 6:25Speaker 1: They're not worth much, but I thought I would offer
- 6:27Speaker 1: them now without further ado, Let's get into this week's recap.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Have Sister Wife Season twenty, episode sixteen, one on one,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Part one, Take it Away.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Beach Well. We start off the episode with clips from
- 6:42Speaker 2: everybody around the world heading to the Freakin Tell Nothing.
- 6:46Speaker 2: We start off with Cody and Robin at their McMansion.
- 6:49Speaker 2: They're packing up their car with all of these clothes,
- 6:52Speaker 2: all these suitcases and stuff. I'm like, you're literally going
- 6:56Speaker 2: to Scottsdale. It's not that fucking far from staff, but
- 7:00Speaker 2: you got to pack up all of your clothing, your
- 7:03Speaker 2: entire closet, basically, especially Cody, who's got to have all
- 7:06Speaker 2: these outfit changes for some reason, because not Robin, No,
- 7:11Speaker 2: certainly not with her little cardigans and stuff. But this
- 7:15Speaker 2: is where Cody talks about how he hates these tell
- 7:18Speaker 2: alls because it's just a bunch of chicken shit chit chat,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and a bunch of backstab in and a bunch of antagonism.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Antagonism is that a word? Yes, Okay, he just goes
- 7:30Speaker 2: on this stupid rant about how we just you know,
- 7:34Speaker 2: I'm trying to forgive everybody and they're trying to forgive me,
- 7:37Speaker 2: and I want to make sure we cultivate that, we
- 7:39Speaker 2: don't ruin that and just want everything to be good.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I want everybody to be happy. Yeah, But I'm like, okay,
- 7:45Speaker 2: then sit in the same room together, m how about that?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, to be a decent person and try not to
- 7:50Speaker 1: insult people and don't be evil and cruel and narc Well.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And if like you're so worried about everybody talking shit
- 7:57Speaker 2: behind your back then just I don't know, we'll talk
- 8:01Speaker 2: to each other.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Or be the change you seek in the world. Ye, yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 1: that's what you want and be that? And who said that?
- 8:07Speaker 1: Was it last week or the week?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Was it?
- 8:09Speaker 1: Mary? She's like, I just want you to be the
- 8:11Speaker 1: man that you say that you are, Like you keep
- 8:13Speaker 1: talking about how strong you are and fair you are
- 8:16Speaker 1: and patriarchal you are and benevolent you are. Then be that, dude, Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: because we're not seeing that dude.
- 8:22Speaker 2: No, not at all. But it's just for performance and
- 8:24Speaker 2: he just wants to pretend like, yeah, he's the good
- 8:27Speaker 2: guy here and all these women are just coming for
- 8:29Speaker 2: him because they hate him or something. Then we go
- 8:32Speaker 2: over to Mary and Jen, and Jen's gonna come over
- 8:35Speaker 2: to the tell Alls, which I do kind of appreciate. Actually,
- 8:38Speaker 2: I think Jen did pretty well and to tell all today.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And Jen was telling Mary that she has to be
- 8:45Speaker 2: careful with what she says because Mary doesn't want people's
- 8:50Speaker 2: feelings to be hurt. And now Mary says, well, until
- 8:54Speaker 2: this week, I did care about people's feelings. But now
- 8:58Speaker 2: whatever is kind of the implay here. So maybe we'll
- 9:02Speaker 2: get more of Jen talking for Mary in the one
- 9:06Speaker 2: alle like.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Can't we just sidebar on that? Because I love Jen? Yeah,
- 9:12Speaker 1: and I do think we need a representative for the
- 9:14Speaker 1: audience to say kind of what we're thinking and what
- 9:17Speaker 1: we see, but like, why can't Mary say these things
- 9:20Speaker 1: that she's relying upon Jen to say? It feels just
- 9:24Speaker 1: kind of weak. It feels like you need somebody else
- 9:28Speaker 1: to be your representative. And I really would love to
- 9:31Speaker 1: see that energy from you, and we do get some
- 9:33Speaker 1: of that, and Mary is speaking up for herself, but like, really,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I think that's why Jen is there, and Mary, you
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't need Jen. You should be saying all of this
- 9:40Speaker 1: stuff yourself. But it's like you're scared to for some reason.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I just don't understand it. And like she'll say little
- 9:46Speaker 2: things like when we get to the NDA conversation later
- 9:48Speaker 2: in this which was pretty fucking juicy, like Mary will
- 9:51Speaker 2: talk a little bit about it. But then there was
- 9:54Speaker 2: another scene where she said something to the effect of like, well,
- 9:57Speaker 2: I can't show or say my reaction on nash TV.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And it's like why, Suki said why And she's like, well,
- 10:04Speaker 1: because you'll just bleep it out anyway, then well give
- 10:07Speaker 1: us a version without a ton of profanity and tell
- 10:10Speaker 1: us how you feel. That's right, incredibly unfair thing that
- 10:13Speaker 1: they said that they were going to dispense the largess
- 10:16Speaker 1: of the sale of the property based on his and
- 10:19Speaker 1: her grace, Like you don't deserve anything legally, like that
- 10:22Speaker 1: is what they said. Like have a response to that.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah, But Jen has to have the response for her,
- 10:28Speaker 2: and that's what's really annoying. But I do still appreciate
- 10:31Speaker 2: Jen being there, yes, And I do appreciate Jen's friendship
- 10:35Speaker 2: to Mary because it's very obvious that Jen has always
- 10:37Speaker 2: been a real one and been really supportive to Mary.
- 10:41Speaker 2: So I do really appreciate that.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Are we getting clout goblin a little bit? Though? Are
- 10:45Speaker 1: we getting I love the light of television from Jen
- 10:47Speaker 1: a little bit?
- 10:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think so. Okay, I think
- 10:50Speaker 2: she's pretty genuine, all right, But I mean she does
- 10:54Speaker 2: want to do the podcast with Mary, and she is
- 10:56Speaker 2: on Fridays with Friends with Mary, so maybe she's making
- 10:59Speaker 2: some moneybe little bit.
- 11:00Speaker 1: But also, frankly, we need her because Mary is not
- 11:03Speaker 1: using her big girl words exactly to describe what we
- 11:05Speaker 1: are seeing with our very own eyes exactly.
- 11:07Speaker 2: So if we have to have a cloud Goblin to
- 11:09Speaker 2: do that, fine, so be it. And then we go
- 11:11Speaker 2: over to Christine and David, who are pretending that they're
- 11:14Speaker 2: going to drive down to Arizona in.
- 11:16Speaker 1: His side by side?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Is that what it's called.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I think that's what they called it, a side by side.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'm like, why are.
- 11:22Speaker 1: We wants to show us his toys. It's kind of cute.
- 11:26Speaker 1: He's kind of fun.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I do like him. He talks about how he
- 11:30Speaker 2: wants to make sure he talks more on the tell
- 11:33Speaker 2: Alls this time, because Christine doesn't let him talk, and
- 11:36Speaker 2: I'm like, yikes, So we'll see how that goes.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I've seen some criticism of him from saying that, like
- 11:44Speaker 1: trying to put himself out there and speak more for
- 11:48Speaker 1: himself but also for her, and I'm just like, I
- 11:50Speaker 1: didn't read that at all. Oh, I thought he was
- 11:53Speaker 1: making a joke. And I think it's fair enough because
- 11:56Speaker 1: Christine does stomp all over him when he's talking, and
- 11:59Speaker 1: he should have the space to tell us how he feels.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and I want him to be like Jen and
- 12:05Speaker 2: say some shit about Cody, to be savage. I want
- 12:08Speaker 2: that really bad. We need that in these tell nothings.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And then we go over back to Mary and Jen,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and this is where Mary tells Jen that Cody, I
- 12:19Speaker 2: guess tried to apologize to her again after his bullshit
- 12:24Speaker 2: park fake apology. I guess he called Mary and said,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry for trying to make a backdoor deal with
- 12:31Speaker 2: Janelle about Coyote Pass. And this is where Jen says,
- 12:36Speaker 2: if he was really sorry about that, but he was
- 12:38Speaker 2: trying to make a backdoor deal, Like, what is the
- 12:40Speaker 2: motivation for him calling you about that? It makes it
- 12:43Speaker 2: seem like he's trying to throw Janelle under the bus.
- 12:46Speaker 2: And I kind of agree, but then when we get
- 12:49Speaker 2: to the conversation about the back door deal, it does
- 12:52Speaker 2: kind of feel like Janelle was doing some shit.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yes, I think that Cody orchestrated throwing Janelle under the bus.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He made it a point to talk to his lay
- 13:03Speaker 1: mass friend in Vegas about the back door deal. He
- 13:06Speaker 1: mentioned it several times, so he's obviously trying to put
- 13:09Speaker 1: it on Front Street. And I think the call was
- 13:12Speaker 1: probably to apologize because she maybe just watched it and
- 13:16Speaker 1: or she was about to hear about it, probably and
- 13:18Speaker 1: so he wanted to get ahead of it. And to
- 13:20Speaker 1: that end, when do we think this was filmed, because
- 13:23Speaker 1: I was checking, like the trees around Mary and Jen
- 13:27Speaker 1: it's there, some people are in shorts, it's looking nice weather.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So are we talking like September October?
- 13:35Speaker 2: It's probably going to be in the summer or something
- 13:37Speaker 2: or some hot month because David was talking about how
- 13:40Speaker 2: it's going to be too hot right and driving into
- 13:42Speaker 2: Scottsdale and his little car or whatever. So yeah, it
- 13:45Speaker 2: must be in the summertime or like six months ago,
- 13:48Speaker 2: maybe probably.
- 13:48Speaker 1: When this was filmed. Okay, I was just wondering, does
- 13:50Speaker 1: anybody know it's so drop into the comments or DMR
- 13:53Speaker 1: girl on Instagram.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know. And then we have Janelle who's
- 13:57Speaker 2: heading out to the tell alls and she's like, oh,
- 13:59Speaker 2: I don't really care, like I don't mind doing these.
- 14:02Speaker 2: And then she goes on this little tirade about how
- 14:05Speaker 2: she thinks Cody's apology was genuine for where he was
- 14:08Speaker 2: at and she's like, yeah, like it was fine and
- 14:11Speaker 2: like whatever, and then she mentions the back door deal.
- 14:14Speaker 2: She knows this, Cubbard, she knows it's coming. She's like,
- 14:16Speaker 2: I heard Cody was talking about this, and all I
- 14:19Speaker 2: can do is defend myself because I know what was said,
- 14:22Speaker 2: and I'm not responsible for anybody's perspectives on it, and
- 14:25Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, all right, interesting, yep, I thought so
- 14:30Speaker 2: as well. Then we get to the actual tell alls
- 14:32Speaker 2: and we start off with like a stupid little icebreaker
- 14:35Speaker 2: from Suki where she asks everybody with their hudden tallet.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I can poop on command, the first one I can
- 14:45Speaker 1: think of it. I can street fight.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Street fight.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I can say stupid shit on the internet. My special
- 14:54Speaker 2: talent very good.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I see all your fins. You're on a dog posted
- 15:02Speaker 1: thirst drops, how dare you? I'm not saying okay every
- 15:06Speaker 1: once in a while.
- 15:08Speaker 2: But we start off with Cody's hidden talent, which is
- 15:10Speaker 2: that he can walk on his hands. Nobody cares. Yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 2: that's great. Then we have Mary who says her hidden
- 15:16Speaker 2: talent is juggling, and Sukie's like, like juggling items, and
- 15:20Speaker 2: Mary's like, no, juggling multiple personalities that are not my own,
- 15:23Speaker 2: and then she laughs really hard, like that was really funny,
- 15:26Speaker 2: Like that was hella funny.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Hella hilarious, and Suki's like, so, like, how many personalities
- 15:32Speaker 1: are we currently juggling? And She's like kinda go five six,
- 15:36Speaker 1: or seven and there's five of them, yeah, plus Suki
- 15:38Speaker 1: and jets right. I think she's talking about everybody in
- 15:41Speaker 1: attendance for this tell nothing.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, Mary whatever. And then we have Janelle
- 15:45Speaker 2: saying that she can play the piano. But then we
- 15:48Speaker 2: have a confession tape afterwards. She's like, I tried to
- 15:51Speaker 2: sit down at the piano and I remember or I
- 15:53Speaker 2: can't remember anything, right, I can't.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Even not even chopsticks. And so she was front and
- 15:58Speaker 1: lion about piano totally.
- 16:00Speaker 2: And then we have Robin who said her special talent
- 16:03Speaker 2: was breaking. Oh my god, this was.
- 16:05Speaker 1: One of the best moments. This was my last episode.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I died, like, how could you? Was she saying that
- 16:13Speaker 1: like with no irony? Like was she saying that with
- 16:16Speaker 1: some seriousness? Like yeah, I used to be a breakout.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I was a big girl.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Well, Sukie asked her, are you a big girl? And
- 16:27Speaker 2: she's like, what a big girl? Well, I mean like
- 16:29Speaker 2: I used to dance and stuff. I used to get
- 16:31Speaker 2: on the floor and like, you know, do some moves.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Sukie's like, are there any videos? And she's like, there
- 16:36Speaker 1: are not going to be any videos. Cut to the
- 16:38Speaker 1: video so cringey, honey, that was perfection. That was a
- 16:45Speaker 1: thing of beauty. Thank you production.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I loved that. And I just couldn't believe that she
- 16:50Speaker 2: said that, like, my special talent is breakdancing, like as
- 16:54Speaker 2: if she's still currently doing that.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Was she being funny? I don't know, because I couldn't
- 16:58Speaker 1: tell by her hard ass face, like are you serious
- 17:01Speaker 1: right now?
- 17:01Speaker 2: I'm like, are you listening to recap?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Because are you watching our podcast because we're putting it
- 17:07Speaker 1: up right now. Yeah, But I was just I didn't
- 17:10Speaker 1: I didn't know if she was serious about it. But like,
- 17:12Speaker 1: maybe Robin actually has a sense of humor about herself.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I don't. She knows people tease her about this, and
- 17:18Speaker 1: so that's why she said it.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Can demons have senses of humor?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I think?
- 17:21Speaker 2: So? Yeah, Oh my god, I just thought that was hilarious.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I thought it was great.
- 17:25Speaker 2: And then we get to Christine's special talent, which is
- 17:28Speaker 2: singing like snow White, and I had to play this scene, honey,
- 17:32Speaker 2: for your daughter, who hates when people sing poorly. She's like,
- 17:37Speaker 2: and she was like, oh my god, turn that off
- 17:40Speaker 2: right now.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And it's not like one version of a Disney song.
- 17:44Speaker 1: She gave us three versions of snow White singing, and
- 17:48Speaker 1: it's like, stop, It's on the same level as the
- 17:53Speaker 1: lap dance for David. It's making me uncomfy.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Well, have you seen that rewind episode where she sings
- 18:00Speaker 2: at Micheltie's wedding.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Where we haven't gotten there yet? Girls, I think I
- 18:04Speaker 1: remember it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It's just as bad. Why And like Christine, why can't
- 18:10Speaker 2: you say my special talent is cooking? You know how
- 18:12Speaker 2: to make mock pudding.
- 18:14Speaker 1: What's not hidden? We know that about her. I guess
- 18:17Speaker 1: my hidden talent is I can't break it down with
- 18:21Speaker 1: this that I would have loved.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Yeah, my hidden talent is fallatio talent. David seriously, but no,
- 18:31Speaker 2: you can sing like snow White, Okay. And then we
- 18:34Speaker 2: get into the actual meat of the episode. We start
- 18:38Speaker 2: off with the coyote pass discussion, and this is like
- 18:42Speaker 2: when jen actually arrives and I think David probably comes
- 18:46Speaker 2: in at some point, but I don't. We don't see
- 18:48Speaker 2: much of him yet in this episode. We start off
- 18:51Speaker 2: with a clip of Janelle talking to Mary over skype
- 18:55Speaker 2: where she makes some little joke about Robin being the
- 18:58Speaker 2: shy pretty wife and they're talk talking about the Coyote
- 19:00Speaker 2: Pass deal and what's happening with it, and Janelle's trying
- 19:06Speaker 2: to pretend to Mary like she didn't try to do
- 19:09Speaker 2: this backdoor deal, and she's trying to pretend like they're
- 19:12Speaker 2: on the same side. And I think this is also
- 19:14Speaker 2: where we get a clip of when they're actually at
- 19:17Speaker 2: Coyote Pass, when the deal happens and gets accepted, and
- 19:21Speaker 2: Cody and Robin completely misread the situation and think that
- 19:24Speaker 2: they're being bitches, And what did you think about this
- 19:27Speaker 2: whole thing? There was a lot in this discussion.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I mean, you're gonna have to refresh my memory, but
- 19:34Speaker 1: I thought that I loved the moment where Jen was like, well,
- 19:39Speaker 1: what they're not saying, though, is that they made Janelle
- 19:42Speaker 1: and Mary wait out at Coyote Pass for an entire hour,
- 19:46Speaker 1: like an Ethan Plath move. Honey made him wait and
- 19:50Speaker 1: it was cold and the weather was terrible. So they're
- 19:53Speaker 1: not going to be rushing right out of their cars
- 19:55Speaker 1: to greet you and give you hugs because you guys
- 19:58Speaker 1: are assholes.
- 19:58Speaker 2: YEP.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I thought that wonderful.
- 20:01Speaker 2: That was really great. And then we have this discussion
- 20:04Speaker 2: about girl games because we have a clip of Cody saying,
- 20:07Speaker 2: like Robin doesn't do girl games, and he was referencing
- 20:10Speaker 2: that at Coyote Pass because he was insinuating that Janelle
- 20:14Speaker 2: and Mary were playing some kind of girl game by
- 20:16Speaker 2: waiting in their cars with the heat on while they
- 20:19Speaker 2: waited over an hour for Cody and Robin and the
- 20:21Speaker 2: realtor to show up in the freezing cold. And then
- 20:25Speaker 2: we have like Suki asking each one of these adults,
- 20:29Speaker 2: what are girl games? I know, so stupid, and that
- 20:32Speaker 2: was annoying to me.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I was annoyed as well. I wish somebody would have
- 20:35Speaker 1: just said it's a term misogynists use, or women who
- 20:39Speaker 1: center men all the time, like Robin. So they're gonna
- 20:41Speaker 1: say something like girl games, and they're going to try
- 20:44Speaker 1: and deflect away from the games that Cody actually plays,
- 20:47Speaker 1: which are legion. He does it all the time. But
- 20:50Speaker 1: it's just a way to make you feel bad for
- 20:51Speaker 1: being a woman, Yeah, and having some opinions, and also
- 20:54Speaker 1: speaking out against Robin as the shy, pretty and submissive wife,
- 20:58Speaker 1: which is something that Janelle says to Mary when they're
- 21:03Speaker 1: on that Zoom call. And Janelle laughs about it when
- 21:06Speaker 1: she's hit up about it, and it's not a big
- 21:10Speaker 1: deal Mary though, Like there's something about Mary that just
- 21:13Speaker 1: bothers me. She's like, oh, yeah, that was the girl game,
- 21:16Speaker 1: and I don't really approve of that. I don't really
- 21:18Speaker 1: like that. I'm like, okay, well, but in the flashback, though,
- 21:22Speaker 1: you were talking about how you know, you and Janelle
- 21:25Speaker 1: and Christine weren't the pretty wives like you were feeding
- 21:28Speaker 1: into it. It's not like Janelle was doing that in
- 21:31Speaker 1: a vacuum, right, And is this where we get into
- 21:34Speaker 1: the ex Wives Club or I mean it kind of
- 21:36Speaker 1: hops around.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It does hop around, but yeah, that was where Mary said,
- 21:40Speaker 2: you know, I don't really want to be a part
- 21:42Speaker 2: of the ex Wives Club, and Janelle and Christine have
- 21:46Speaker 2: their friendship going and have their little thing, and I
- 21:48Speaker 2: don't want any part of that. And I'm just like,
- 21:50Speaker 2: why do you gotta be bitchy? Though?
- 21:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand that. It's kind of just mean.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And I will say though, that Christine has gone out
- 21:59Speaker 1: of her way in her book in the last few
- 22:02Speaker 1: seasons to say that she never, ever, ever, ever wants
- 22:06Speaker 1: to get back together with Mary and they're never going
- 22:08Speaker 1: to be friends or never going to have anything, and
- 22:10Speaker 1: so this could be somewhat of a reaction to that,
- 22:13Speaker 1: like probably fearing that over I don't know how many years,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and also now in a book would hurt my feelings
- 22:18Speaker 1: if that were something that I was hoping for. But
- 22:21Speaker 1: it's clear now that Mary is giving up any hope
- 22:24Speaker 1: for solid relationships in this family, and I think that
- 22:28Speaker 1: she's also mad about it. I feel like it stings
- 22:32Speaker 1: for her. I feel like it's a rejection. I think
- 22:35Speaker 1: Mary has felt so utterly rejected by all of these
- 22:40Speaker 1: people in this family, particularly Cody, for a variety of reasons.
- 22:45Speaker 1: But it's just this theme now that she's carrying around
- 22:48Speaker 1: with her for over thirty years, and one of the
- 22:52Speaker 1: reactions to that could be anger, and I think we're
- 22:54Speaker 1: seeing some of that. But underneath that, I think is
- 22:57Speaker 1: just profound hurt and that makes me feel bad for her.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I totally get that. But do you think that she
- 23:02Speaker 2: had a part to play in that?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Of course caused that partially? Yes, absolutely, And I think
- 23:08Speaker 1: that she's coming off sanctimonious, like she could play this
- 23:12Speaker 1: a little differently. She can say, like that really hurts me.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I did have some hope that maybe we could be
- 23:19Speaker 1: a family, or like we could be cordial, like we
- 23:21Speaker 1: could have maybe even a friendship, but it's obvious watching
- 23:23Speaker 1: back some of the things that people are saying that
- 23:25Speaker 1: that's not anything they're interested in, and now no longer
- 23:29Speaker 1: am I.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It's just like unfortunate to me because you know, you
- 23:33Speaker 2: have so much in common now with Christine and Janelle,
- 23:36Speaker 2: like you could have some kind of you don't have
- 23:38Speaker 2: to be best friends, but you could have some kind
- 23:40Speaker 2: of camaraderie knowing that you guys all left the same
- 23:44Speaker 2: narcissistic asshole and like, you guys all were victims of
- 23:49Speaker 2: Cody's narcissistic abuse alleged and you could, I don't know,
- 23:53Speaker 2: let some of that shit go. It kind of felt
- 23:55Speaker 2: to me like Mary was being snied to both Christine
- 24:00Speaker 2: in Janelle. Maybe it was because of Christine's book, and
- 24:02Speaker 2: maybe it was because of Janelle's back door deal with Cody,
- 24:05Speaker 2: and maybe that's why we got a little bit of
- 24:07Speaker 2: that snipiness from her. But I'm like, why can't you
- 24:10Speaker 2: have that same energy then for Cody and Robin? Why
- 24:14Speaker 2: can't you talk about them and be snipy to them?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah? Why do you need Jen to do that for you?
- 24:19Speaker 1: And let's not forget I feel like it's important, and
- 24:22Speaker 1: I know that we've talked about it, certainly when we
- 24:25Speaker 1: covered Christine's book on Patreon, and I've mentioned it a
- 24:28Speaker 1: couple of times here. But like the story that Christine
- 24:31Speaker 1: tells about Mary embarrassing her, and I want to say,
- 24:35Speaker 1: like twenty eighteen, so somewhat recently. I think it's around Luluoe.
- 24:41Speaker 1: They were on some kind of cruise. Mary was invited,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but Christine at the time was also selling Lularoe, so
- 24:48Speaker 1: she was invited. And the way Christine tells it, she
- 24:52Speaker 1: walks into the room on a cruise and she's just
- 24:55Speaker 1: like looking around the room seeing who's there. She does
- 24:57Speaker 1: not see Mary in the room. Mary, however, sees her,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and so in this moment, Mary maybe takes that as
- 25:04Speaker 1: a slight like why didn't you come up to me
- 25:06Speaker 1: and say hello. Well, Christine was remiss, she did not
- 25:09Speaker 1: do that, but like later on approaches her, she thinks
- 25:12Speaker 1: everything's okay. According to Christine, Mary for the entire duration
- 25:17Speaker 1: of the cruise goes out of her way to talk
- 25:21Speaker 1: down to Christine, to body shame Christine, to make fun
- 25:25Speaker 1: of her in front of other people, and to be
- 25:28Speaker 1: generally a twat to Christine for no frickin' reason, And
- 25:33Speaker 1: so in my world that's pretty recent, like you say,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and that for Christine probably shows Mary's true colors. And
- 25:41Speaker 1: you can see the edge. You can see kind of
- 25:43Speaker 1: that mean girl edge in Mary when she's sitting down
- 25:46Speaker 1: with Jen and just laughing and laughing and laughing, and like, oh,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you're kind of laughing a little too hard. I think
- 25:51Speaker 1: you're trying to hurt people's feelings. I think you're kind
- 25:54Speaker 1: of mean. Yes, So, like there's a lot of things
- 25:56Speaker 1: that are true in this situation. I feel bad for Mary.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I think her be behavior is born of like actual
- 26:02Speaker 1: trauma totally.
- 26:03Speaker 2: But at the same time, do better, yeah, like acknowledge that,
- 26:07Speaker 2: do the shadow work, as they say, and go to
- 26:10Speaker 2: therapy and worthy up and figure that shit out instead
- 26:13Speaker 2: of just continuing to be mean. But it's so weird,
- 26:15Speaker 2: like how Mary has this mean, bitchy energy, but then
- 26:20Speaker 2: she's best friends with Jen, so I'm like, wells Jen
- 26:22Speaker 2: mean and bitchy too.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I don't know, she has a definite sarcastic streak at least.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And well, you always want friends though that you can
- 26:30Speaker 1: kicky with, you can get down and dirty with, and
- 26:33Speaker 1: they have a good friendship. But I have no doubt
- 26:36Speaker 1: that Mary shit talks and trashes all kinds of people
- 26:39Speaker 1: with her friends.
- 26:39Speaker 2: She's got to, right.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I hope she does shit. Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 2: But then back to the tell. Also, we have this
- 26:46Speaker 2: discussion about Coyote Pass and the back door deal, and
- 26:49Speaker 2: this was very back and forth. It's very much a
- 26:53Speaker 2: he said, she said type of a thing. But basically
- 26:57Speaker 2: Cody is putting it all on Jene Like Janelle was
- 27:01Speaker 2: the one that came to him and initiated the deal.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Cody was I guess, resistant to it, but then open
- 27:07Speaker 2: to it because he wasn't talking to Mary. And he
- 27:10Speaker 2: tries to shirk off a lot of the responsibility, like
- 27:13Speaker 2: it wasn't his idea, like he wasn't into it, like
- 27:16Speaker 2: it was all Janelle. He says some comments about Janelle,
- 27:19Speaker 2: even though he's very careful to not really talk shit
- 27:21Speaker 2: about her, which is kind of interesting. He makes some
- 27:24Speaker 2: comments about how this was how it was in his
- 27:27Speaker 2: marriage with Janelle, that whatever she wanted she got because
- 27:31Speaker 2: she went up to him and was like, you need
- 27:32Speaker 2: to give this to me or else I guess which
- 27:35Speaker 2: I'm just like, I don't know how true that is.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Because Janelle got the short end of the stick a
- 27:39Speaker 2: lot of the time.
- 27:41Speaker 1: But if we look at it from like a higher vantage,
- 27:44Speaker 1: from the meta, we zoom out a little bit, we
- 27:47Speaker 1: can kind of see how maybe Janelle might have been
- 27:51Speaker 1: complicit and how the money moved in that family.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And if it's true that Cody was collecting assets and
- 27:59Speaker 1: funneling sources out of the family account and other places,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and Janelle was the one who was doing the bookkeeping,
- 28:06Speaker 1: the records and the taxes, so she saw it. And
- 28:09Speaker 1: if we take what Christine said previously into consideration, which
- 28:13Speaker 1: was that whenever she needed something, she would just ask Cody.
- 28:16Speaker 1: And that's what the wives did. I never knew about
- 28:19Speaker 1: the money. I didn't know how much we had, but
- 28:20Speaker 1: if I needed something, I asked for it. And so
- 28:23Speaker 1: if that's what Janelle also did, and maybe Cody gave
- 28:26Speaker 1: her some extra money, then what I'm saying is maybe
- 28:30Speaker 1: Janelle was complicit. And when he starts talking about the
- 28:34Speaker 1: parcels of land, yeah, and how it was Janelle who said,
- 28:38Speaker 1: we don't trust Mary. We don't want Mary's name on
- 28:42Speaker 1: a variety of these parcels because what is she going
- 28:44Speaker 1: to do with that kind of power. And then when
- 28:47Speaker 1: Cody says, well, it was actually Janelle who called me
- 28:51Speaker 1: and suggested that we do some sort of backdoor deal,
- 28:54Speaker 1: Like I kind of feel I kind of feel like
- 28:58Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened. Now, I do I think Cody's
- 29:01Speaker 1: blowing it up. I think he's trying to cause division
- 29:04Speaker 1: between Janelle and Mary, but mostly he's trying to turn
- 29:07Speaker 1: people against Mary for whatever reason. But the core of
- 29:11Speaker 1: what he's saying I think has some veracity. That's just
- 29:14Speaker 1: my opinion. What do y'all think?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Like, my opinion is that there isn't an official backdoor deal.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I don't think Janelle was intentionally wanting Cody to sell
- 29:24Speaker 2: it from underneath Mary, but I do think that based
- 29:28Speaker 2: off of talking through their lawyers, because Janelle does talk
- 29:31Speaker 2: about this. She says like, at a certain point in time,
- 29:34Speaker 2: Mary stopped communicating with them, like she was only communicating
- 29:37Speaker 2: through her lawyer, and so it was really difficult to
- 29:40Speaker 2: get anything done. And then Robin was the big fat
- 29:43Speaker 2: rock in the way that was also causing some delays,
- 29:46Speaker 2: which we'll get to later about the NDAs, and so
- 29:48Speaker 2: Janelle probably was frustrated and then was like I'm just
- 29:51Speaker 2: gonna go to Cody and ask him, like, can we
- 29:55Speaker 2: just fucking can we figure something out? Like I want
- 29:57Speaker 2: to work some things out. Maybe her lawyer did advice,
- 30:00Speaker 2: he like, you should try and force the sale, get
- 30:02Speaker 2: this done so you can get your money, because it
- 30:04Speaker 2: sounds like Janelle was needing the money.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Well, Cody addresses this, He's like, well, we could sit
- 30:10Speaker 1: on the land for ten years and it can double
- 30:13Speaker 1: in price, but Janelle wants a clean break. Janelle needs
- 30:16Speaker 1: that money, money money right now. And as we know,
- 30:19Speaker 1: like Janelle needs a house. Janelle is the one wife
- 30:22Speaker 1: who's left with like literally nothing, and so of course
- 30:25Speaker 1: she wants to take her two hundred and fifty thousand
- 30:28Speaker 1: dollars or whatever it was and build a house for
- 30:30Speaker 1: herself out in North Carolina. So I can understand her incentive,
- 30:34Speaker 1: which therefore makes me believe all the more that she
- 30:39Speaker 1: was a part of that. I think she initiated the conversation.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I think Cody was maybe entertaining it. I do wonder
- 30:45Speaker 1: if Robin's like, we're not going to do that, but
- 30:47Speaker 1: let's not do that, and or if we're going to
- 30:49Speaker 1: do that, let's try to give Mary a chance to
- 30:53Speaker 1: get her fair share, but only if she jumps through
- 30:55Speaker 1: this NDA hoop. Like you know, maybe she had some
- 30:57Speaker 1: sort of machination that she was working through.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Probably she might have had something how.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Going to use this to my utmost benefit exactly.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I feel like Janelle at the very least was just
- 31:09Speaker 2: wanting to get this shit done, and nobody was moving,
- 31:13Speaker 2: nobody was talking to each other because Mary and Cody
- 31:16Speaker 2: hate each other, and Mary was talking through her lawyer,
- 31:18Speaker 2: and she probably was dealing with the NDA stuff on
- 31:22Speaker 2: the back end that maybe Janelle was unaware of and
- 31:25Speaker 2: just thought like Mary was just sitting on her act.
- 31:27Speaker 1: She knew it, because she says Robin is the one
- 31:29Speaker 1: who came in at the eleventh hour with the contract,
- 31:32Speaker 1: so she knew about it.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Maybe she knows now, but like maybe when they were
- 31:36Speaker 2: talking about everything in the back door deal happened, she
- 31:38Speaker 2: didn't know what was happening behind the scenes.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I definitely think she did. I don't think her attorneys knew.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I think she was sick of it. I think she
- 31:46Speaker 1: did her very best with Mary to try and get
- 31:48Speaker 1: her to protect herself, to do the right thing, to
- 31:51Speaker 1: get an attorney. We all saw what Mary did with
- 31:53Speaker 1: Janelle's outstretched hand at that point, thing. Yeah, and so
- 31:57Speaker 1: I would I understand Janelle's motive to be like, okay,
- 32:00Speaker 1: like bitch, I tried, but at this point, if now
- 32:03Speaker 1: you're gonna hold it up and this buyer, this whole
- 32:06Speaker 1: contract is going to expire, then I have to do
- 32:09Speaker 1: what I need to do in order to get my settlement.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And like, in that regard, okay, fair.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Admit it, though, exactly tell the truth, just say it
- 32:18Speaker 1: with your full chest.
- 32:19Speaker 2: But Janelle is so passive in that way and doesn't
- 32:23Speaker 2: really like she doesn't really want to be the bad
- 32:26Speaker 2: guy in this situation. Is like I just want my
- 32:28Speaker 2: fucking money, and I just want to be done with
- 32:31Speaker 2: Coyote pass And you know, in that regard, like she
- 32:33Speaker 2: got it, and she got what she wanted and now
- 32:36Speaker 2: everything's done. And so I think Janelle's kind of coming
- 32:39Speaker 2: to this one on one like this is all moot.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I don't give a shit about none of y'all. I'm
- 32:43Speaker 2: in North Carolina, I've got my flower farm, I've got
- 32:46Speaker 2: my money. So like you can think what you want
- 32:48Speaker 2: to think, Yeah, and I don't give a crap. I
- 32:50Speaker 2: think that's where Janelle's coming from with this, and I
- 32:53Speaker 2: think with Mary, like Mary should have taken what Janelle
- 32:58Speaker 2: had told her in that initial converse about Coyote pass seriously,
- 33:02Speaker 2: but Mary didn't. She went running back to Cody and
- 33:05Speaker 2: Robin with a check, honey, with a fucking check, with
- 33:07Speaker 2: a check. And it just goes to show that like
- 33:10Speaker 2: Mary never really liked Janelle ever, never trusted her, never
- 33:14Speaker 2: trusted her ever, even after thirty years of being her
- 33:19Speaker 2: sister wife and everything. And you know, there's probably some
- 33:23Speaker 2: justification for that, I guess, but like when Mary wants
- 33:26Speaker 2: to talk about in this tell all like, well, now
- 33:28Speaker 2: I can't trust any of them at all because of this,
- 33:30Speaker 2: It's like, well, where was your responsibility and all of
- 33:33Speaker 2: this too?
- 33:34Speaker 1: And can Janelle trust you exactly? Running back to Cody
- 33:37Speaker 1: and Robin exactly.
- 33:38Speaker 2: And so there's a lot of like distrust on all parts.
- 33:42Speaker 2: And then you have Cody who is totally using this
- 33:46Speaker 2: to advance his advantage and totally trying to shirk the
- 33:49Speaker 2: responsibility off of him, put it on all these women
- 33:53Speaker 2: and act like he was just I don't know, I've
- 33:57Speaker 2: got Janelle on my ear and blah blah blah blah, boh,
- 34:00Speaker 2: he's ask, and.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You know, I definitely want to please her, And like
- 34:04Speaker 1: when Mary calls me, I get scared, but when Janelle
- 34:07Speaker 1: calls me and asks for something, well then I hop
- 34:10Speaker 1: up and try to do it because maybe Janelle knows
- 34:12Speaker 1: that I loved her, and maybe I still kind of do,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and I feel a sense of obligation. I think what
- 34:19Speaker 1: he's trying to say is like I want to please her.
- 34:22Speaker 1: That to me, out of this WAG episode was wild.
- 34:25Speaker 1: That was like such a non sequitor, Like why are
- 34:29Speaker 1: you throwing that in right now? Are you trying to
- 34:33Speaker 1: telegraph that to Janelle so she can hear what you're saying,
- 34:37Speaker 1: Because like, I don't think there is a world where
- 34:40Speaker 1: Robin would be down for that. Uh uh. I think
- 34:42Speaker 1: out of all of the exes, it's Janelle that intimidates
- 34:46Speaker 1: Robin the most. I don't think she would ever agree
- 34:49Speaker 1: to them rekindling their love. So it was like such
- 34:53Speaker 1: a weird thing to say unless it's.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Like honest, I feel like it is honest.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I think it's honest.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I feel like it is honest because she was the
- 35:00Speaker 2: first one he apologized too, and it was the most
- 35:03Speaker 2: cordial and the most amicable, and he talked about it.
- 35:07Speaker 2: He even mentioned it in the apology, and like Janelle
- 35:11Speaker 2: was like, oh, we had something really special.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I feel like there's some truth in our pants.
- 35:16Speaker 2: I'm just like, wow, I can't believe he said that
- 35:18Speaker 2: on a tell and then Suki doesn't call it out
- 35:20Speaker 2: or anything.
- 35:21Speaker 1: No follow up question, Suki, we don't want a clarifying
- 35:24Speaker 1: question right at this time.
- 35:26Speaker 2: She was pissing me off, low key in this tel
- 35:28Speaker 2: sitting there.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I just like, be a person like represent the audience.
- 35:39Speaker 4: And we've talked about this in seasons past. We've talked
- 35:42Speaker 4: about this in seasons past, Like you don't even watch
- 35:45Speaker 4: the show.
- 35:45Speaker 1: No, Like the first time she did a tell all,
- 35:47Speaker 1: she didn't know what the hell was going on. She
- 35:50Speaker 1: clearly is not a fan. She doesn't have the frame
- 35:52Speaker 1: of reference. Maybe she's up to snuff now, but like, still, like,
- 35:56Speaker 1: there are so many pockets of space where you could
- 35:59Speaker 1: have been start of the question. I know that would
- 36:02Speaker 1: have been good for us to hear, but you didn't. Like,
- 36:05Speaker 1: how do you not follow up with him saying he
- 36:07Speaker 1: might still love Janelle? That's a bomb, that's a huge bomb.
- 36:11Speaker 2: And how do you not know that there's breakdancing videos
- 36:14Speaker 2: of Robin. How are you asking that a question? Why
- 36:16Speaker 2: are you asking everybody.
- 36:17Speaker 1: About the podcast? Seriously watch the podcast, bitch.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Why are you asking about girl games to everybody and
- 36:23Speaker 2: then like interrupting people when they're trying to explain to
- 36:26Speaker 2: you what girl games are. I'm just like, Suki, you're
- 36:29Speaker 2: pissing me off. And we've got like three more installments.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Of this mm hmm, driving me crazy.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Anyway, back to Coyote Pass, with this backdoor deal, I
- 36:39Speaker 2: feel like Janelle probably didn't want to have an official
- 36:44Speaker 2: backdoor deal, but she was probably fed up with everybody
- 36:47Speaker 2: stalling it and then Robin stalling it with her NDA bullshit,
- 36:52Speaker 2: and she just told Cody, well, you could force the sale,
- 36:57Speaker 2: and Cody's like, well, yeah, I do have the power
- 36:59Speaker 2: for that, but luckily it didn't go through. Then you
- 37:02Speaker 2: have Cody and Robin, well, Cody mainly talking about how
- 37:08Speaker 2: Coyote passed with Mary She's only getting paid out of
- 37:11Speaker 2: him and Robin's good graces, and that she should be
- 37:14Speaker 2: grateful basically that she's getting any money at all, which
- 37:19Speaker 2: is so fucked up. And we didn't have that scene
- 37:22Speaker 2: in the season, did we. I feel like that was
- 37:24Speaker 2: edited out and then we're seeing it for the first
- 37:26Speaker 2: time in the tell all because it was a flashback
- 37:29Speaker 2: of Cody in his talking head saying that Mary's only
- 37:32Speaker 2: getting paid from Robin and I's good.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Gh right, I was thinking he said that to Suki,
- 37:37Speaker 1: But that wasn't the clip.
- 37:38Speaker 2: It was reatching.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I didn't remember that when I watched it. I thought, oh,
- 37:41Speaker 1: maybe it was during my surgery recovery when I was
- 37:43Speaker 1: like in a narcotic hage.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I don't think so, maybe it was and I forgot
- 37:47Speaker 2: about it, But I'm like, I feel like that was
- 37:49Speaker 2: the first time we've seen that clip, so I don't know. Diabolical,
- 37:52Speaker 2: absolutely diabolical, And we have Jen reacting for Mary for it,
- 37:56Speaker 2: and I'm just like, Mary, can you please just be
- 37:59Speaker 2: a person and just say how you really feel about
- 38:01Speaker 2: all of it? Why are you worried about hurting anybody's
- 38:04Speaker 2: feelings here? If you don't trust anybody, you don't like
- 38:07Speaker 2: anybody on this set besides Jen, why don't you.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Just you have nothing to lose. Yeah, I don't really know.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Maybe she trusts Jen to say it more articulately than
- 38:18Speaker 1: she's able to in the moment, but like Jen coming
- 38:21Speaker 1: in and just being like, how dare you? Yeah, who
- 38:23Speaker 1: do you think you are? And I'm very curious to
- 38:27Speaker 1: know exactly how much money Mary paid into Coyote Pass.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I know that in the previews we're going to actually
- 38:33Speaker 1: be talking about the money that Mary put into Robin's
- 38:35Speaker 1: house and Janelle put into Robin's house, which I trust
- 38:39Speaker 1: they didn't get back. I think that was probably part
- 38:42Speaker 1: of the contract that Robin put in front of Mary,
- 38:45Speaker 1: which killed the deal, because Janelle was talking about how
- 38:49Speaker 1: Robin and Cody wanted them not to talk about not
- 38:54Speaker 1: just Coyote Pass, it sounded like not to talk about
- 38:58Speaker 1: any of their interactions business wise, and she wanted a
- 39:03Speaker 1: hold harmless clause. I forget what that is. Yeah, these
- 39:06Speaker 1: back in insurance, but like that was very interesting to me.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So I think she doesn't want them talking about having
- 39:13Speaker 1: paid into the first McMansion and also the Coyote pasted.
- 39:18Speaker 1: She doesn't want the numbers to be revealed. Uh, but
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think we're actually gonna get to some of these
- 39:23Speaker 1: numbers in other one on one installments, I at least hope.
- 39:26Speaker 2: So I fucking can't wait. We better get into that
- 39:29Speaker 2: because that's where the juicy t is and that's what
- 39:32Speaker 2: all of the recappers have been talking about, all of
- 39:35Speaker 2: us have been talking about for literal years. Show us
- 39:38Speaker 2: the coinss, talk about the coins. And even with Coyote
- 39:42Speaker 2: Pass and them selling all of the parcels, like in
- 39:45Speaker 2: my opinion, it still wasn't even fairer because Robin got
- 39:49Speaker 2: a portion of it every week. Well because it's bs.
- 39:51Speaker 2: And if they would have split it up three ways, right, yeah, Cody, Robin,
- 39:58Speaker 2: Mary and then Janelle, it would have been more fair
- 40:00Speaker 2: and more equal. But Cody Robin still ended up with
- 40:03Speaker 2: a bigger portion from Coyote Pass than Mary and Janelle.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And that's just.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Because they're counted as individuals and not a married couple.
- 40:11Speaker 1: And in theory, maybe Robin paid in on the deposit
- 40:15Speaker 1: I know what for Coyote Pass. I don't know, she
- 40:18Speaker 1: saw some of her auntsy dolls can't see in village.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Maybe in order to put a down payment on her
- 40:25Speaker 1: parcel of land. We don't believe that.
- 40:27Speaker 2: No, okay, not at all. But anyway, where was I
- 40:30Speaker 2: going with that? The coins? So yeah, maybe it was
- 40:34Speaker 2: in the NDA. So it was revealed in this episode
- 40:38Speaker 2: that Robin was the one that introduced in the eleventh hour,
- 40:42Speaker 2: in the eleventh hour when the deal was about to expire,
- 40:44Speaker 2: and it ultimately did expire because of Robin's bs because
- 40:48Speaker 2: she sent out to Mary and I'm assuming she sent
- 40:52Speaker 2: it to Janelle told Janelle have to sign the NDA.
- 40:56Speaker 1: And my question again, did she sign.
- 40:59Speaker 2: The Maybe that dumb bitch signed an Indiana.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Because she talked about getting all of the paperwork done
- 41:05Speaker 1: and it was just Mary who in the end refused
- 41:08Speaker 1: to sign the paperwork and so the deal didn't go through.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I think Janelle signed a dumb ndia.
- 41:13Speaker 2: She's so stupid, and so I think.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Her moon is in Capricorn. I was just looking at really,
- 41:19Speaker 1: I thought, there's so much Capricorn and Earth energy among
- 41:23Speaker 1: all of these adults.
- 41:24Speaker 2: These are some dumb ass I forget.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'm speaking totally. Can we just pause it for a
- 41:28Speaker 1: second second, go look. So I did find some speculation
- 41:32Speaker 1: about her moon sign, and I'm not sure where the
- 41:34Speaker 1: conversation was. I don't know if Janelle ever said it
- 41:36Speaker 1: outright or if people on Reddit are just going crazy
- 41:38Speaker 1: like we do. But people speculate that her moon is
- 41:42Speaker 1: Virgo or Capricorn girl sun sign Taurus.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, some dumb ass earth energy over here.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I just I don't really understand because to me, like
- 41:52Speaker 1: Capricorns are all about their money. Oh they are, and yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 1: they know how to organize money. They know how to
- 41:59Speaker 1: typically generate money. It's like, but Janelle seems kind of
- 42:02Speaker 1: stupid a little bit about money, buying the fifth will, yeah,
- 42:07Speaker 1: and like a lot of the choices that she has made,
- 42:09Speaker 1: it has just been a little bit wonky. So I
- 42:11Speaker 1: just try to well better. Moon.
- 42:13Speaker 2: The shadow side of Capricorn would be like bad with
- 42:16Speaker 2: financi chaotic with money, because a good Capricorn would be
- 42:20Speaker 2: super into their four oh one k's and they got
- 42:23Speaker 2: their investments and they're making all that money.
- 42:26Speaker 1: She's got an a price. She's worried about her estate.
- 42:29Speaker 1: So anyway, so maybe that's some of the motivation around
- 42:32Speaker 1: why Janelle is making the choices that she's making, because
- 42:34Speaker 1: she's very anxious.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah money, and look that's fair, like protect your bag.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And you should have been smarter with your financial investments
- 42:44Speaker 2: and your financial endeavors while you were married to Cody,
- 42:47Speaker 2: and then now you're not, and now it's not working
- 42:49Speaker 2: out for you. And now you look at Robin and
- 42:51Speaker 2: her big old McMansion and wondering you're living with your kids,
- 42:55Speaker 2: and like, I'm not dogging on that, because I think
- 42:57Speaker 2: that's great that she has children that will take her
- 43:00Speaker 2: in and she'll she gets to do this farm thing
- 43:04Speaker 2: with Maddie and Caleb, and she's doing that and that's awesome.
- 43:08Speaker 2: But like, Janelle was objectively dumb with her financial decisions,
- 43:12Speaker 2: and so yeah, I don't blame her for trying to
- 43:14Speaker 2: force the sale with Coyote Pass because nobody else was
- 43:16Speaker 2: willing to sell it. But then you have Robin coming
- 43:21Speaker 2: into play wanting Mary to sign an NDA, and maybe
- 43:25Speaker 2: allegedly Janelle signed that NDA too because she just wanted
- 43:28Speaker 2: to sell everything and be done with it. But Mary,
- 43:31Speaker 2: this is where she comes in clutch. She was a
- 43:34Speaker 2: g and she's like, I'm never signing something that you're
- 43:37Speaker 2: going to make me be silenced and not talk about shit.
- 43:40Speaker 2: She doesn't go into the details of what this NDA
- 43:43Speaker 2: was forcing her to do, but it's implied that Robin
- 43:48Speaker 2: didn't want her to talk about a bunch of shit.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Why are we attributing it just to Robin though, I mean,
- 43:53Speaker 1: Cody's not like in a vacuum. Robin's not consulting a
- 43:56Speaker 1: lawyer to get this NDA drawn up without Cody right there.
- 44:00Speaker 1: So it's got to be Cody's idea and her idea
- 44:03Speaker 1: as well. It's not just her that's acting as this obstacle.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And I really resent that she's trying to frame it though,
- 44:10Speaker 1: that she wanted to stop the entire process because she
- 44:12Speaker 1: needed it to be fair for Mary and so everybody
- 44:16Speaker 1: got their fair share. No, you stopped the process that
- 44:20Speaker 1: you could bind Mary to some sort of fucked up NDA.
- 44:23Speaker 1: And furthermore, production, why are we allowing Cody and Robin
- 44:29Speaker 1: to pull out NDAs to silent other cast members about
- 44:33Speaker 1: acted storylines happening within a season? Well why would you
- 44:36Speaker 1: allow that? Right?
- 44:38Speaker 2: I mean, because it's one thing if it's like about
- 44:40Speaker 2: this private sale of coyote baths, but like if it's
- 44:43Speaker 2: really about shit that we could talk about on the show.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Which we are talking about on the show, right, I
- 44:49Speaker 1: don't know how many times I saw, how many times
- 44:51Speaker 1: I saw like the four parcels and all the names
- 44:53Speaker 1: on the parcels, and we saw Mary tendering a check,
- 44:57Speaker 1: And we've had multiple conversations about Coyote Pass and the
- 45:01Speaker 1: sale thereof, and so now you're going to allow Cody
- 45:04Speaker 1: and Robin to bind these people under an NDA. I mean,
- 45:08Speaker 1: that's just wild to me. And again we know that
- 45:10Speaker 1: they tried to do that with the kids, with Peydon
- 45:12Speaker 1: and with some of the adult children, trying to get
- 45:15Speaker 1: TLC to bind the kids under some kind of an
- 45:18Speaker 1: NDA so that they can't go out and have patreons
- 45:21Speaker 1: and talk about their experience on the show. Like, why
- 45:24Speaker 1: are we doing this TLC? That doesn't make any sense
- 45:26Speaker 1: to me.
- 45:26Speaker 2: That's a great point, though, like why would TLC even
- 45:29Speaker 2: allow them to have that kind of a power? Wild
- 45:32Speaker 2: to me. But that's where we have it, so we have.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Robin allegedly was the one that brought out the NDA.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Mary said, fuck you, I'm not going to sign that,
- 45:40Speaker 2: and so she ultimately didn't. The deal ended up expiring
- 45:43Speaker 2: according to Janelle, but thank god that the people who
- 45:47Speaker 2: wanted to buy it renewed the deal and so that
- 45:49Speaker 2: they were able to finalize everything without Mary having to
- 45:52Speaker 2: sign to sign an NDA. Mary does kind of talk
- 45:56Speaker 2: about it a little bit that if she would have
- 45:59Speaker 2: signed it, she would not have been able to talk
- 46:01Speaker 2: about or react to the sale of Coyote Pass. She
- 46:04Speaker 2: would not have been able to argue for her fair
- 46:07Speaker 2: share of anything, which is crazy. This is where we
- 46:10Speaker 2: have the discussion about the division of parcels and how
- 46:14Speaker 2: Christine said it was always unfair from the jump, like,
- 46:17Speaker 2: don't understand why it was even divided this way to
- 46:20Speaker 2: begin with. And then was it Cody was the one
- 46:23Speaker 2: that said Janelle was the one, yes, that told him
- 46:26Speaker 2: that Mary shouldn't be on her own parcel because we
- 46:29Speaker 2: can't trust her.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I believe it.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I mean, I believe it. Why do you think they
- 46:35Speaker 2: don't trust her with stuff like that?
- 46:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I remember Mary talking about how Cody
- 46:44Speaker 1: and Robin sat her down to go over her Lula
- 46:48Speaker 1: Roe money and wondering whether they were getting their fair
- 46:52Speaker 1: share of her Lula Roau revenue. Does everybody remember when
- 46:55Speaker 1: she mentioned that? So maybe there was to general distrust
- 47:01Speaker 1: of Mary, but like that's her money. Obviously she can
- 47:04Speaker 1: do whatever she wants to do with the lul row
- 47:06Speaker 1: funds that she generates. They felt entitled to it. I
- 47:09Speaker 1: don't know, but I forget who said it. Maybe it
- 47:12Speaker 1: was Jen, maybe it was Mary, but like this is
- 47:14Speaker 1: why we have Maybe it was Christine. This is why
- 47:17Speaker 1: we have problems because nobody trusts anybody. There's all these
- 47:20Speaker 1: side conversations that are taking place undermining some other key player,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and so nobody knows what's going on, and it's unfair
- 47:27Speaker 1: on its face.
- 47:28Speaker 2: It's so objectively unfair, And it was just interesting to
- 47:31Speaker 2: me that that was dropped that they were worried about
- 47:34Speaker 2: Mary having like enough financial power and Coyote pass. But
- 47:39Speaker 2: then you have Cody and Robin having all of the power,
- 47:42Speaker 2: and Robin's names are on everything. So I'm like, huh,
- 47:45Speaker 2: make it makes sense. Why is Mary the one that
- 47:47Speaker 2: we don't trust?
- 47:48Speaker 1: And why would Janelle be okay with trusting Robin exact
- 47:52Speaker 1: names on multiple plots, but not Mary.
- 47:54Speaker 2: And then you have Janelle talking some shit about Robin,
- 47:57Speaker 2: which I did appreciate in this tell all. I mean,
- 47:59Speaker 2: she talks about how Robin is submissive and shy and pretty,
- 48:03Speaker 2: and we have that whole discussion about that, which was
- 48:05Speaker 2: so stupid. But she said something that I thought was
- 48:08Speaker 2: very poignant, that you have to give power to get power,
- 48:13Speaker 2: and that's what she thinks Robin has been doing. And
- 48:16Speaker 2: then we have Robin saying like, well, I'm not submissive,
- 48:18Speaker 2: and Cody's saying Robin's not submissive because she's got a
- 48:21Speaker 2: spine of concrete and steel, Like whatever the fuck that means.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Shut up, yeah, stupid, stop defending your bitch wife.
- 48:32Speaker 2: But like Janelle's saying that I thought was really great.
- 48:35Speaker 2: And then we have jen echoing the sentiment by saying
- 48:37Speaker 2: that she does think that Robin is submissive because that's
- 48:40Speaker 2: what Cody wants, and Mary says the same thing, like
- 48:43Speaker 2: Cody wants a wife that doesn't stand up for herself
- 48:46Speaker 2: and doesn't fight, which I think is kind of funny
- 48:48Speaker 2: because I'm like, I feel like that's all Robin's doing
- 48:51Speaker 2: is standing up for what she gets, Like she gets
- 48:54Speaker 2: the big house, she gets all the money, she gets
- 48:56Speaker 2: her share of Coyote Pass for some reason.
- 48:58Speaker 1: But she's doing it manipulative, which is what Janelle's referencing
- 49:02Speaker 1: by saying, you have to give some power to get
- 49:04Speaker 1: some power. So she knows what she's doing, whereas Mary
- 49:07Speaker 1: just couldn't help herself. She would have these unregulated emotions
- 49:11Speaker 1: and blow up at Cody, and so now Cody is
- 49:13Speaker 1: very wary of her, and maybe Janelle is just a
- 49:15Speaker 1: different animal. She's very direct, I want this, you need
- 49:18Speaker 1: to be doing this, and if you don't. I'm going
- 49:20Speaker 1: to go out and do it myself. Then Christine's just crazy. Yeahs,
- 49:23Speaker 1: but Robin knows how to finesse it.
- 49:25Speaker 2: That's true.
- 49:26Speaker 1: She appears submissive, but it's not, which is what I
- 49:28Speaker 1: think Janelle is saying.
- 49:30Speaker 2: That makes sense. Yeah, and this whole discussion, I just
- 49:33Speaker 2: kept thinking, like, man, Christine was the smart one getting
- 49:37Speaker 2: the fuck out of there and not having to deal
- 49:39Speaker 2: with Cody Pass. Like I've said on this pod many
- 49:42Speaker 2: times before that I thought it was kind of stupid
- 49:44Speaker 2: that she just kind of gave up her her person
- 49:47Speaker 2: and you know, didn't care about the proceeds or whatever.
- 49:49Speaker 2: But now I'm looking at all of this and all
- 49:52Speaker 2: of the arguments back and forth, I'm like, damn, Christine,
- 49:54Speaker 2: you did the right thing.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Just Oh, it would have totally not given up my parcel.
- 49:59Speaker 1: I would have been like, whatever, you guys, sell it.
- 50:01Speaker 1: Let me know. I can wait twenty fucking years. But
- 50:03Speaker 1: you need my name on that on that contract. You
- 50:06Speaker 1: need my name. Yes, if her name is on one parcel,
- 50:10Speaker 1: then that parcel cannot be sold unless they compel the
- 50:13Speaker 1: sale or unless she agrees to the sales, So they
- 50:15Speaker 1: would have to go through Shenanigans to get her to agree.
- 50:18Speaker 1: That's what I would do, And I'd be like, run
- 50:19Speaker 1: me my money one dollars two hundred thousand dollars. If
- 50:23Speaker 1: I've got some money on the table, I'm not leaving
- 50:25Speaker 1: it there, I'm taking it with me. So that's what
- 50:27Speaker 1: I would have done. She had all of the power
- 50:29Speaker 1: in that moment because his name was not on her
- 50:32Speaker 1: deed for her house, and her name was on the
- 50:34Speaker 1: deed for that lands. She did not have to do it.
- 50:37Speaker 1: But I understand not wanting the headache, but like, I
- 50:39Speaker 1: would have just talked to my lawyer, talk to my man.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Yeah, talk to my hoose if you want to.
- 50:44Speaker 1: If you want to sell this parcel, because my name's
- 50:46Speaker 1: on it, you can't sell it without me.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Well, I feel like that's what Mary was trying to do,
- 50:49Speaker 2: Like talk to my lawyers. But then you have Janelle
- 50:52Speaker 2: and Cody having this weird backdoor conversation about forcing the sale.
- 50:56Speaker 2: So I'm like, could could Christine have had any power
- 51:00Speaker 2: with Coyote Pass if Cody could have just forced it?
- 51:03Speaker 1: No, If they were going to force the sale on Mary,
- 51:07Speaker 1: what that means is that they would probably have to
- 51:09Speaker 1: get some judge to order the sale of that one parcel,
- 51:13Speaker 1: for which she would only have gotten thirty three percent.
- 51:15Speaker 2: I see.
- 51:16Speaker 1: So, but what she's saying is like, but y'all know
- 51:18Speaker 1: that I paid in twenty five percent for all four.
- 51:20Speaker 1: So what she's like saying is I have a lawyer,
- 51:22Speaker 1: and we can argue that I paid you that check
- 51:25Speaker 1: you cashed it. We can argue that I contributed it,
- 51:27Speaker 1: and we can take this all the way to fucking court. Yeah,
- 51:30Speaker 1: or you can try to compel the sale and we
- 51:31Speaker 1: can see what happened. So she was just ready to fight, yeah,
- 51:34Speaker 1: which is what she needed to do.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Fair. Yeah, And I mean there could have been a
- 51:38Speaker 2: world where Christine, you know, could have done that and everything.
- 51:41Speaker 2: But I feel like she looked at this whole situation
- 51:43Speaker 2: and was like.
- 51:44Speaker 1: I just need these wives to fight. I need one
- 51:47Speaker 1: of these wives or one of these kids to fucking
- 51:50Speaker 1: take it to court and fight.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Sue them for everything. Go back through all the ledgers
- 51:56Speaker 2: and everything, count all of your coins, get all the receipts,
- 51:59Speaker 2: and sue Cody and Robin for all their bullshit, because
- 52:02Speaker 2: how are they How are you guys okay with them
- 52:04Speaker 2: being in a two point one million dollar mansion that
- 52:07Speaker 2: was funded primarily through all of your guys's fucking checks, so.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Relaxed about it. I don't understand why aren't you in
- 52:14Speaker 1: a feminine rage? Why they stole all your money in
- 52:17Speaker 1: all of the assets, they funneled it into their trust
- 52:20Speaker 1: funds and into their I mean, Maddie is more pissed
- 52:23Speaker 1: off than Janelle is.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Yep, there's got to be some weird legal loophole, shenanigans,
- 52:28Speaker 2: or some bullshit that is preventing them from suing them
- 52:32Speaker 2: for all of.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Yes, because when they turned over the money for the
- 52:35Speaker 1: first McMansion from the proceeds of the sale of the
- 52:38Speaker 1: homes in Las Vegas, they tendered those funds to Robin
- 52:42Speaker 1: and Cody as a legal gift, so they actually can't
- 52:46Speaker 1: do it. They could try and make a case you
- 52:47Speaker 1: can sue anybody for anything, but they would probably never prevail.
- 52:52Speaker 1: But also I think Robin doesn't want them to talk
- 52:54Speaker 1: about it, which is why it's beautiful that they're gonna
- 52:57Speaker 1: talk about it in this towel.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Have the preview for the next installments and they look
- 53:03Speaker 2: pretty fucking juicy. So we have Robin saying Janelle is
- 53:07Speaker 2: calling her last minute contract a power play because she
- 53:11Speaker 2: got caught backstabbing Mary. So she's saying it's a contract.
- 53:16Speaker 2: We all know it's an NDA to try and silence Mary.
- 53:19Speaker 2: She's trying to subvert it, and she's trying to put
- 53:21Speaker 2: it back on Janelle because she got caught backstabbing Mary.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Maybe maybe, but you still wanted to force a contract
- 53:29Speaker 2: onto Mary. So we got to talk about that. We're
- 53:32Speaker 2: gonna press her on that, Soue Kanya. Then we have
- 53:35Speaker 2: Mary saying she thinks Robin should have told her about
- 53:38Speaker 2: what was happening, because at the very least that would
- 53:40Speaker 2: have been respectful. But we all know Robin is not respectful.
- 53:45Speaker 1: I wouldn't betray my husband to tell his ex wife
- 53:48Speaker 1: that there was something going on that he was dabbling in.
- 53:52Speaker 2: You're on the side of Robin in that regard.
- 53:54Speaker 1: I just I understand that a wife would not tell
- 53:57Speaker 1: an ex wife, especially one who has a problem with me.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I wouldn't like betray my husband to tell her that
- 54:04Speaker 1: he's thinking about taking a roundabout way to sell this property.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't personally. I would stand with my man personally.
- 54:09Speaker 2: If he was gonna take a roundabout way to sell
- 54:11Speaker 2: it from the ex wife. That's not fair, and I
- 54:14Speaker 2: stand by it. Then we have Robin saying she didn't
- 54:18Speaker 2: trust Mary enough to tell her what was going on,
- 54:21Speaker 2: and Suki asks why, and Robin goes, are you serious?
- 54:24Speaker 2: Are you serious? Right now? Yeah?
- 54:26Speaker 1: I'm serious. Answer the question with your words.
- 54:29Speaker 2: She's not going to.
- 54:30Speaker 1: It's a deflecting tactic.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Totally.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Yeah, really, I'm going to tell you what girl games are?
- 54:33Speaker 1: You don't know what fair?
- 54:35Speaker 2: Thank god? Okay, we have David saying that he thinks
- 54:38Speaker 2: Cody crossed the bro code when he mentioned that he
- 54:43Speaker 2: did love Christine.
- 54:44Speaker 1: This is so stupid. Are you serious? David's shut up? Why?
- 54:49Speaker 1: Because that's so dumb. I mean, obviously he's saying that
- 54:54Speaker 1: I said this shit on TV about not loving you,
- 54:57Speaker 1: and that was wrong. I did love you, and I
- 54:59Speaker 1: want to say that on TV. I want to clear
- 55:00Speaker 1: the record. That's nothing about a bro code, that's nothing
- 55:04Speaker 1: about disrespecting you. It's okay if her ex husband loved
- 55:07Speaker 1: her at a period of time, you shouldn't be threatened
- 55:09Speaker 1: by that. That's just such a weird thing to me
- 55:12Speaker 1: for David to be upset about.
- 55:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I kind of was like, yeah, David,
- 55:16Speaker 2: because I mean, if Cody's coming over and being like Christine,
- 55:19Speaker 2: I actually did love you, and David's right there, but
- 55:22Speaker 2: I feel like it's not a place for her.
- 55:24Speaker 1: No, we still be saying it for her, for his
- 55:27Speaker 1: for his kids with her, I guess, and to rehab
- 55:29Speaker 1: his image. Yeah, but I just I don't think he
- 55:32Speaker 1: was doing it to like make an advance on Christine.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Well, no, because he's disgusted by Christine. But still I
- 55:38Speaker 2: feel like David's trying to prove to Christine like your mine.
- 55:42Speaker 2: It's probably like a thing like that, like him being
- 55:46Speaker 2: possessive over Christine. You're my woman, not Cody's woman.
- 55:50Speaker 1: No more.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Then we have Jen saying Cody forgets how much time
- 55:54Speaker 2: they actually spent together, because I guess this is like
- 55:57Speaker 2: probably in reference to Cody, not like Jen, or Cody
- 56:02Speaker 2: saying that Jen doesn't really know him at all, and
- 56:05Speaker 2: Jen's like, no, we spent a lot of time together.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Bro. It almost felt like a threat a little bit,
- 56:10Speaker 1: like I was actually around for a lot. You want
- 56:13Speaker 1: to know how much you want to know what I saw.
- 56:15Speaker 2: See and that's what I want. If it's going to
- 56:18Speaker 2: be a threat, then to start talking some shit deliver
- 56:21Speaker 2: on it please, And then the last thing we see
- 56:24Speaker 2: in the preview is Cody thinking Jen had some influence
- 56:28Speaker 2: over Mary leaving the family. Suki asks Jen whether she
- 56:32Speaker 2: told Mary to take the money and run and like
- 56:34Speaker 2: basically implied, you know, did you tell Mary to leave?
- 56:37Speaker 2: And Jen actually says she regrets not telling Mary to
- 56:40Speaker 2: leave sooner, and she kind of chokes up a little bit,
- 56:43Speaker 2: which I'm just like, hmm, interesting. I thought Jen was
- 56:47Speaker 2: telling Mary the whole time, leave this mofo, but apparently
- 56:51Speaker 2: she wasn't.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Well, what did you think of the first installment of
- 56:55Speaker 1: the one on ones? Did you think like we're gonna
- 56:57Speaker 1: get some stuff that's good.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like it was better than previous
- 57:01Speaker 2: one on ones that we've had. It's still very annoying
- 57:04Speaker 2: to have this like back and forth, he said, She
- 57:07Speaker 2: said thing, it's still still so fucking stupid that we're
- 57:10Speaker 2: doing these separately. But I do think there was some
- 57:14Speaker 2: juicy shit, and I do think that the next couple
- 57:17Speaker 2: tell alls are going to be pretty juicy too. If
- 57:20Speaker 2: we're going to talk about coins, if we're gonna call
- 57:22Speaker 2: out Robin for her bullshit with the NDAs.
- 57:25Speaker 1: And the Catfish and the fucking because we've never talked
- 57:29Speaker 1: about that.
- 57:29Speaker 2: No, we have not.
- 57:30Speaker 1: We've talked about the Catfish, of course, I mean we've
- 57:32Speaker 1: we've gone over that endlessly, and then there's these side
- 57:34Speaker 1: conversations on the internet that we're all talking about. But like,
- 57:38Speaker 1: they've never talked about Robin's potential participation in the catfish.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and Mary brings it up, I know, which I'm like, yes.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Like I want to know what's going to be said
- 57:49Speaker 1: about that, So I am excited.
- 57:51Speaker 2: And Cody crashing out about it, Like, I'm still surprised
- 57:54Speaker 2: that you're having such a fucking reaction about it. It's
- 57:56Speaker 2: been fucking fifteen years or something.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Because his wife is being caught out.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it is.
- 58:01Speaker 1: That's exactly what it is.
- 58:02Speaker 2: But I'm like, Cody, I thought you didn't want there
- 58:05Speaker 2: to be any animosity.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Why are you screaming at soub Kanya again this year
- 58:09Speaker 1: on the couch? Exactly?
- 58:11Speaker 2: You're weirdo oh and speaking. I forgot to mention Christinea
- 58:15Speaker 2: and David at the very beginning had said that they
- 58:17Speaker 2: want to see if Cody's behavior has changed, and they
- 58:21Speaker 2: want to see that from him on these tell alls.
- 58:23Speaker 2: So like we'll see what happens, but it seems like
- 58:27Speaker 2: we're not going to get that in these tell alls.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Like Cody's changed behavior for the better, Yeah, I mean
- 58:32Speaker 1: I think we're seeing a little bit of it. I
- 58:33Speaker 1: think that he's not as volatile and he's not as
- 58:36Speaker 1: absolutely insane in his villain era as he was for
- 58:40Speaker 1: the last couple of years, but like it's still in there.
- 58:42Speaker 1: He's crashed now of course about the cat, Yeah, talk
- 58:46Speaker 1: about a narcissistic injury. Totally, It's still alive in him
- 58:49Speaker 1: and that I love to see it.
- 58:51Speaker 2: I love to say it.
- 58:52Speaker 1: She was sucking on a banana in aub because you
- 58:56Speaker 1: fail as a husband.
- 58:57Speaker 2: I mean, you shouldn't have been so distant.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Right, Well, is there anything else that we should say
- 59:04Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get up on out
- 59:07Speaker 1: of here, Beatrice?

- 59:45Speaker 1: and then we'll all go through it together. Yeah, and
- 59:47Speaker 1: we'll probably resume our Sister Wives rewives, oh for sure,
- 59:52Speaker 1: because we're in season six seven, so.
- 59:56Speaker 2: We get we're getting close to the catfish's getting closer
- 59:59Speaker 2: to the catfish.
