- 0:31Speaker 1: And so this space is really just everything that I try on error, it's everything amazing guests coming to talking about their journey, their experiences with emotions.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And really just take what resonates and leave what doesn't.
- 0:45Speaker 1: We're all unique individuals.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And so we all have different perspectives.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We all have different viewpoints and it's really coming to that space where you can trust yourself and that's where I really that is my mission.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That is my goal.
- 0:56Speaker 1: That is my purpose to empower you to trust yourself, to find that space, to ground in it, to come back to yourself over and over and over again because there's so much freedom and there is so much power and there is so much beauty in that.
- 1:09Speaker 1: This journey can feel really isolating at times.
- 1:11Speaker 1: It is beautiful.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It is painful.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It is joyful.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It is love.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It is all the things.
- 1:18Speaker 1: And we are all the things all at once.

- 1:31Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of the emotional Mastery podcast.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Happy Thursday.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Today, I'm talking to Metalina Petrescu, who is a leading cardiologist in the US, co creator of Heart Q and the Heart Intelligence Lifestyle, Heart Intelligence Coach and Best Selling Author.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Maddelina's life as a busy cardiologist shifted ten years ago when she hit bottom from severe back pain and burnout.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Despite her incessant efforts, to find the cause and cure with traditional western medicine her pain persisted.
- 2:02Speaker 1: This led her to stop seeking outside, seeking outside, and start journeying within to find her answers.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Her back pain became her portal to the deeper healing her heart was inviting her into.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Along her spiritual journey, she became present to the deeper truths about the nature of unconscious programming, limiting patterns, and scarcity.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Scarsity beliefs based scarcity based beliefs that have been driving her into her stress, pain, and fulfillment.
- 2:28Speaker 1: She immersed in a plethora of transformational and healing practices in the realms of consciousness, spirituality, energy healing, psychology, and science.
- 2:37Speaker 1: In her journey, she discovered how intrinsically heart disconnection is linked to physical pain and disease.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Her higher purpose in life is to support people to take the journey from the head to the heart.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And Metalina emphasizes your heart is the key, the path, and the guide to truly connecting with your authentic self and create the aliveness, harmony, alignment, and freedom you are seeking.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Madalena fuels.
- 3:02Speaker 1: She is able to truly help one heart at time to unveil the truth from the inside out.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And today, she feels her higher calling in life is to support others who reconnect with their heart and activate their heart intelligence as the source of in our guidance to heal, unveil our most authentic true self, create alignment, experience vitality in our peace and deep fulfillment.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And honestly, like, so much of this podcast.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It always is so divinely timed to synchronic.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We recorded this back in February.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And the conversation was so beautiful.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I mean, we talk about, you know, what HeartQ is, what Heart Intelligence is, what Heart Coherence is, She shares her story about how this injury completely transformed her life, how she went from having this seem seemingly happy perfect life to realizing how actually unhappy she was, like deep inside.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And, you know, we talk about Coming into the heart and this has really been a practice.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I've had so many lessons lately, so many.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And so this was so beautiful to edit and re listen to this conversation from this perspective that I have in now because we're always changing.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Always.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:13Speaker 1: If you listen to the episode that can't close, every second, we're creating eight hundred thousand new cells.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:18Speaker 1: So it's like, what are you creating?
- 4:20Speaker 1: And all, you know, ninety seven ninety seven percent of them are adaptable.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And so that just always blows my mind when I think about that.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm literally choosing my reality.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And It's interesting today.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Actually, this past week, I've been feeling pretty I don't wanna say low vibe.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I've been feeling very frustrated.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I've been feeling very resistant.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I've been feeling yeah, just, I guess, just frustrated is really the word, frustrated for a number of reasons.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And rather than I think every time I feel that way, I'm always pushing against it and try to fix it and try to be high vibe or be all the things like right now and and I, you know, and it's been a lesson.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And of course, you know, they say, when the student is ready, the teacher appears.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And I believe that can relate to certain individuals, that can relate to books, that can relate to podcast episodes.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And so a lot of what has been coming to me over the past week has been perfect for what I'm experiencing.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And this is why I feel that it's so important to always be infusing your day with inspirational podcasts, books, Instagram, I really if something makes me feel any sort of constriction on my Instagram, I tend to unfollow people just because I want everything that I see to feel good when I am on there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But A big lesson this past week has just been this reminder of patience, this reminder that everything at is as it's meant to be.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Everything is on a divine timeline.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And although that might not always feel like the timeline I want everything truly does happen for a reason.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And really sort of like reframing things and viewing things from this perspective.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And when I'm feeling those things in those moments to allow myself to feel it because So often again, like I said, when I feel frustrated, I'm like, oh, I don't wanna feel this anymore.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I just wanna be, like, all high vibe and I wanna be just coming from that heart space all the time.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And it's just not possible because we're human.
- 6:34Speaker 1: And we are living in this three d physical plane another massive lesson that I got this week.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You know, I took Lauren and Leta's three month intensive, psycho development intensive program and she talks a lot about colors and reading the frequency of color and reading color when it comes to things and I had this and I know she explained it there's sometimes that you just hear things in, like, certain ways and it clicks, but she would always talk about perceiving colors and asking us, challenging us to try and tap into the color and the frequency and all these things.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And I feel like in my three d lens, I was like, okay, I need to see the color.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I need to see the aura around somebody.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Like, I need to see those things.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And I'm reading this book called How To Know The Hire World's, I believe, is what it's called, I lick it.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It's by Rudolph Diner.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I'm fucking blown by this book because it's everything I've been needing this week and there's so much that's clicking into place.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But he talks about color and frequency.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And it's not we're not seeing the color.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Right?
- 7:42Speaker 1: It's not this three d Lens perspective.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Like, I believe that some people can't see that.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Some people can view somebody and see their blue aura, their yellow aura, whatever it is.
- 7:52Speaker 1: But it's so much more nuance than that because we are not seeing it with our actual physical eyes.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Right?
- 7:58Speaker 1: This is a feeling.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And everything comes back to feeling.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That is why I'm always focused on feeling and emotional regulation and being able to discern what we're actually feeling and why?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Like, I in my journey have noticed that frustration feeling when my heart feels restricted, when my heart feels closed off, and it's so easy for the mind to come in there and be like, this means this and this means that and make it mean this whole big thing that it didn't.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But if I can just come back to that feeling of like, this doesn't feel good.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:30Speaker 1: And there's another thing you talked about in the book.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's like there's literally like two feelings, aliveness and deadness.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And it can be literal, but it can also be like when you see something that is alive, you feel light, you feel excited, you feel expanded, you feel open, you feel in love, you feel all these things on varying degrees.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And when you see something, you sent something that is air quoting dead.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:50Speaker 1: You feel closed off, restricted.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You know, all these other things that that come to it, like a plant.
- 8:55Speaker 1: A plant is either blooming or it's dying.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And so he was talking about when it comes to colors, when you see the color blue, can you, like, pause?
- 9:05Speaker 1: And like, what does that color actually feel?
- 9:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 9:09Speaker 1: And so I was, like, whoa.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I had this just moment where I was, like, that is everything that Lauren was teaching us and for some reason my three d mind just would not process it, would not get it.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And so I was reading this section of the book.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I was at a pool with my son and I was just like looking around.
- 9:25Speaker 1: And I was like, the green of the trees and then I could hear the trees.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, the wind was blowing and I was like, whoa, they're like, they're talking.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Like, can, like, we tap into that?
- 9:34Speaker 1: And then I was, like, watching people in the water and just sensing, like, what was I feeling from each individual?
- 9:39Speaker 1: And sometimes for me, it's literally an expansion in my heart or a restriction in my heart.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Those are my two indicators of the way that I'm feeling.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And and it's a process I believe my journey, my process needs to be discerning the love the the levels and layers and frequencies within that.
- 9:56Speaker 1: But it's a start.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And we'll have to start somewhere.
- 9:59Speaker 1: And I it was just this huge like aha moment where I was like, whoa.
- 10:03Speaker 1: That's exactly what she was teaching.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And I finally get it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's not that we're seeing the color.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But what is the feeling that we get from the colors?
- 10:11Speaker 1: And then once we become familiar with those feelings, then when I sent somebody and I'm like, oh, that's the feeling that I get with the color blue.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And then I can attach that color blue to that individual.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Or when I'm, like, I literally wanted to just go out and, like, sit with all the plants and, like, find, like, a garden and just sit with all the different colors of the plants and just feel what they what they have to say and and and all that.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But yeah, it was really beautiful.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And also within the same book, it was just talking about patients.
- 10:42Speaker 1: It was talking about patience and trust and gratitude and remembering that we're all one.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And it helps you shift your perspective a lot, especially to people that you may feel anger with.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Of course, it's all a reflection, but also what is it showing you?
- 10:56Speaker 1: And we are all connected.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You know, I was watching I was on Instagram and somebody's story was posting they had just had a baby and they were saying that, you know, every single human being begins that way, right, in this pure innocence.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And somewhere along the way, you know, think shift or trauma happens or, you know, just I mean, we all have our own karmic ties and and a pass in life and things like that, but we all start as this baby that knows doesn't know that it's any different than its mother or the things around it.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Right?
- 11:32Speaker 1: I think I talked last week when I was reading about Mars and Pluto.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And the difference is, like, Pluto is just this, like, deep energy of being deeply connected with everything.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And so when it gets angry and when it and when it feels aggression, it's it's to everything.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's not just like targeted at somebody.
- 11:48Speaker 1: It's this deep like like that baby when it's not fed, it feels angry, but it's not sitting there being angry at the mom, it's angry at itself, and it's angry at the mom, it's angry at the dog, like anything that's around it because it doesn't understand that it's different than anything else.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And so that patience has always been a lesson since the day one of my spiritual journey.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I remember the very first time that I ever meditated on it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: That was the first lesson I got.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And that was around the same time that I was learning human design.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And I was like, well, of course, that would be my lesson.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'm an MG.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Like, I don't want patients just wanna go.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But it's like coming full circle.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And I yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It's all about when we're in those moments of frustration.
- 12:26Speaker 1: When we're in those moments of feeling these ways, Can we take a pause and find that heart centered space?
- 12:31Speaker 1: And this episode is just so beautiful in accessing the heart and understanding what the heart is telling us and really coming into that space and leaning into it and trusting your intuition and connecting with the heart because it is such a powerful organ.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Obviously, it keeps alive, but beyond that, it's it's spirit.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It is emotions.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Right?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Like, we feel the entrance to the heart is feeling.
- 12:58Speaker 1: That's what Madalena said in this episode.
- 13:00Speaker 1: The entrance into the heart is feeling.
- 13:02Speaker 1: And so that's where emotions are so important.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:06Speaker 1: This emotional mastery that this podcast is.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:08Speaker 1: It's not about mastering something about, like, being the master of your emotions and nothing can get to you.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It's about having these tools to master that emotional regulation so that you can tap into that space, so that you can be heartland.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And I don't know that anybody.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I think there are certain people that are able enlightened beings that can come from that space all the time.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But just as a, you know, your everyday individual that is on this journey like we're gonna get mad.
- 13:37Speaker 1: We're gonna feel sad.
- 13:38Speaker 1: We're going to feel you know, all these blocks and shadows and, you know, whatever.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And I think coming back to that space is will allow you to tap into yourself throughout that journey and to raise your self worth.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Because once you form a relationship with that space in your heart, then you know that that's who you are.
- 14:02Speaker 1: That is your true self.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 14:03Speaker 1: We had a beautiful guided meditation within the holistic human design academy this past weekend.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And one of the women in there shared that just that the meditation was like one of the first things that really allowed her to hold herself in that way.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And it was so moving and so beautiful because we're just that's what it's about.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Right?
- 14:26Speaker 1: And we get so lost and so confused sometimes by things in life that have happened to us.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And we get disconnected from a heart and coming back to that space and knowing that that's what it's all about and that and that's that's the space that you can trust and feel safe and and come back to.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And so Again, yeah, this conversation was so beautiful.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And I'm really excited for you to listen to it in all the ways that you can contact and follow and work with Madalena are down in the show notes.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And again, Holistic Immunoscience Academy will start its second round in August, the end of August.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So if you're interested in that program like I've been saying since it started, this program is just everything that I poured my soul into and I know that it's felt.
- 15:18Speaker 1: The feedback that I've gotten is that it is felt and it is learning these modalities, the human design, and astrology.
- 15:26Speaker 1: But I'm teaching it in a way that I feel like is really peeling back the layers piece by piece to really understand your subconscious, your mind, the way you operate in just coming to yourself and coming to that to to trusting yourself because human design can be very mental.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It can be very mental of, like, sometimes we need things to, like, label us and define us.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And I want to teach it in a way that empowers you to come into yourself and know where you are and have these as tools to support you in your journey.
- 16:05Speaker 1: So whether you want to become a human design reader or whether you're looking to add human design to your coaching business or even if you're just curious to learn your own human design and your own astrology and understand yourself on a deeper deeper level, whatever spectrum that you're coming in on, you're all you're going to receive it on all levels.
- 16:25Speaker 1: And, yeah, I'm just so lit up by this program in so many ways.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So again, that link is in the show notes.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You can get on the waitlist.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Again, it starts at the end of August for the second round.
- 16:36Speaker 1: It has been absolutely phenomenal.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And you can follow me on Instagram at broshel dot christian.
- 16:41Speaker 1: It's r o c h e l l e dot c h r I s t I a n e.
- 16:47Speaker 1: TikTok is the same, YouTube is at emotional Mastery podcast and website richolker dot com.
- 16:54Speaker 1: You can also book a one on one human design slash astrology session.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It is infused with both because I can't speak to one without the other.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And the twelve week coaching container as well, which is similar to the holistic human design academy except for it's one on one.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So it's all about you in your chart.
- 17:12Speaker 1: And go through all these layers and all the things.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So any of those, all the information is down the show notes.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening, and I will catch you next week.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Welcome to the emotional mastery podcast.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Today, I have Madalena Petrescu, and she is a leading cardiologist co creator of the Heart Intelligence Lifestyle and Heart Q, BestLying Author and Heart Intelligence Coach.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So I Obviously, we'd love to learn more about all of this, and I will hand you the floor to just kind of introduce yourself, you know, your story, anything as much or as little as you like to share any pivotal moments along the way that kind of got you here, and then we'll take it from there.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Wonderful.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Well, it's so great to be here.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I'm really excited to be here on this platform and to share my story, and there's always so much that we can learn.
- 17:57Speaker 2: And, you know, what I'll share is that my journey is that Yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I'll share my journey because I think it's really, you know, fascinating.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It brought me to my deeper purpose, you know.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So my journey is that let's say, ten years ago, if anybody would have, like, on the outside, it looked like I probably had a perfect life.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Like, here I am, you know, a very successful busy cardiologists, mother of two beautiful girls, a loving husband, and here I am doing all this international talks, part of faculty, a teacher, and multiple directorships.
- 18:29Speaker 2: And on the outside, it seems like it's all going perfect.
- 18:32Speaker 2: But on the inside, you know, the feeling for me is that I was constantly trying to pressure myself to fit into the image that I thought was right.
- 18:39Speaker 2: So I was just like living life actually in a in a survival.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I was struggling.
- 18:43Speaker 2: You know?
- 18:44Speaker 2: First of all, the life of a cardiologist is like so tough and so much.
- 18:48Speaker 2: It's like emergencies and there's like things that are happening all the time, you know, you're not sleep deprived, lots of burden.
- 18:56Speaker 2: You're barely getting sleep and you're trying to get home to the kids and like be a mother and have time for yourself.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And I didn't realize it that I was just living from all kinds of patterns that I didn't even know that I was operating from unconsciously.
- 19:07Speaker 2: You know, perfectionism, workaholism, overachiever, people pleaser, yes, they are self denial, just pressuring me.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And my life just internally was a whole bunch of stress.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I was just like so unhappy.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I was just so stressed.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I was running all the time.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I felt like I was running on this treadmill all the time.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And I was just thinking, well, this is, I guess, what life is about, and I just thought that was normal.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I I literally And it's really incredible because I I thought that was normal and I did the best with what I knew in my conscious awareness.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So that's what I knew and I did the best with what I knew and that was my best, which sucked.
- 19:41Speaker 2: You know?
- 19:42Speaker 2: And and then I thought, at one point, I'm like, this is what life is about.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Where's the joy?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Where's the juice?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Where's all of that?
- 19:48Speaker 2: It's like, maybe I just have to wait keep working harder and go faster.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Maybe then I'll get it.
- 19:52Speaker 2: You know, that's the mindset.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And so all of that was going on.
- 19:57Speaker 2: And then basically, ten years ago and and by the way, I used to run.
- 20:02Speaker 2: And running was my way of staying alive in this matrix.
- 20:05Speaker 2: So like my running is like if I ever felt any negative emotion, I would just run and feel positive and keep fitting in this matrix that I thought was normal that I had to fit into.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So running was my mechanism.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And it kept me going until it didn't.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And then basically, long story short is ten years ago.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I ended up going for a run.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I ended up having an injury and severe back pain.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I literally ended up like not being able to walk.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I literally had to walk, like, limp home and and that pain wouldn't go away.
- 20:38Speaker 2: No matter anything that I did.
- 20:39Speaker 2: And here I was a doctor, very ambitious, very controlling, very determined to, like, use any methodology, and it I couldn't get it fixed.
- 20:47Speaker 2: No matter the doctors, no matter the studies, like nothing could be figured out and it drove me crazy.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And then what ended up happening is all of those feelings that I hadn't been feeling that were trying to get to me now came like a volcano.
- 21:00Speaker 2: And of course, I wasn't equipped because you don't learn that in medical school and I never so I have suppressed everything.
- 21:06Speaker 2: So then I didn't have, like, the capacity to hold space for anything, so I just broke down.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And what started out as, you know, one year of not being able to run and just actually getting worse.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Like, I couldn't sleep at night and just evolved into a deep a deeper thing, like a depression, an anxiety, an existential crisis.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Like, what is my life all about?
- 21:26Speaker 2: It just, like, evolved into some huge crisis in my life.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And I was like, what the heck is going on here?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Like, why why am I so unhappy?
- 21:33Speaker 2: And, like, why did my whole life turn upside down from not being able to run?
- 21:36Speaker 2: And that's when basically it happened where after one year, you know, of trying and nothing was working, it happened where I I kind of like entered, I realized that this needed to happen, and I saw that this crisis, it was actually a portal for me to actually come back to myself because I was so off path, I was so misaligned with my true self, with my true path, I was living so unconsciously, and out of out of alignment, And so then it was I mean, I was here I am, like, a cardiologist healing other people's heart, and I hadn't connected and heal my own.
- 22:12Speaker 2: And what was the worst thing that could happen to me became the best thing that could happen to me.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It actually became it actually became the portal and then I started Basically, because I wasn't doing it for me.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Life did it for me.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Like, all the running that I was doing in my life, I couldn't run anymore.
- 22:29Speaker 2: So life brought me to a stop and I started being, I started being present, I started feeling, I started opening and turning my energy inward and, like, looking and asking what's going on.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And so turning the lights on, started the journey into my heart, and that's where this all came from.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I started realizing, wow, I've been living my life from this unconscious patterns, from lack, completely disconnected from my heart, living inauthentically and unhealed wounds that I hadn't even know existed, you know, and fitting into these these these patterns, you know, as a way to, like, not really deal with myself.
- 23:04Speaker 2: And then I started asking them, who I am?
- 23:07Speaker 2: Who am I?
- 23:07Speaker 2: And what is this my truth all about?
- 23:09Speaker 2: What does that even mean?
- 23:10Speaker 2: And I brought all my passion and focus that I had directed outward.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I brought it inward to myself and I started going to all these workshops and books and healing and transformations and, you know, years and years of that where I then realized that where I am now that my deeper purpose in life is to help other people also awaken to their true authentic path and come back to their own hearts.
- 23:36Speaker 2: So they can be in the driver's seat of their own lights and live an authentic and fulfilling life.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And that's what I think I I feel true healing is.
- 23:44Speaker 2: It's coming back to that wholeness, that love, that truth and what that journey entails.
- 23:49Speaker 2: So I'll I'll stop there, but this is really what I'm all about.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I love it.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Thank you for sharing.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And I think I think so many of us, like, have can relate to that part of the story where it's like you you on the outside, it's like you have everything.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Right?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Like the job, the the family, all of these things, and that yet we're still trying to, like, climb our way to this, like, societal standards.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Right?
- 24:10Speaker 1: And just kind of, like, still feel the way we want others to perceive us to look.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You know?
- 24:15Speaker 1: And my question too is, like, for you turning inwards, right, from having that, like, busy busy career at the family life and always being on the go and being a cardiologist, you know, in the medical field, was there any sort of resistance turning inward into like a more spiritual path?
- 24:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, there was so much resistance.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I mean, it was crazy, of course.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And I'm like, I was the only woman and all of these men field and everything there was based on the standards where workaholism, time for self is selfish and lazy.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And nonproductive.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I mean, so I had all these things to work.
- 24:49Speaker 2: So it took me a long time.
- 24:50Speaker 2: That's why I was having a lot of inertia and resistance.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I felt guilty.
- 24:53Speaker 2: I felt like a shame.
- 24:55Speaker 2: That was, like, And so I started my spiritual path because because it was something I could no longer not do.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Once I started, like, reading some of the books like Louis Hey, Wayne Dyer, some of these other things, a bunch of stuff.
- 25:06Speaker 2: It's like, you can feel the truth when it's happening.
- 25:08Speaker 2: We cannot feel it.
- 25:09Speaker 2: You know, when when you're getting closer to that truth, you feel it as a vibration in yourself, like some stuff is opening, and I felt that.
- 25:17Speaker 2: And so I started being a closet spiritual path person.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Like, I wouldn't tell anyone but I did it, like, in hiding, almost, like, ashamed of it.
- 25:25Speaker 2: So I live, like, in kind of a dual life or show up to life and whatever medicine and then at home, like, coming home, reading, healing, and the weekends going to, like, events.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And my husband then started joining me, you know, and the kids were part of it as well.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And so it was like a duality life.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And then I and then I realized, oh, wait.
- 25:44Speaker 2: What am I doing?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Like at one point, I said, This is not authentic.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Like, why the heck am I am I hiding that?
- 25:51Speaker 2: Like, that means that I'm ashamed of my who I am, my truth.
- 25:54Speaker 2: And yes, because I know how those guys think.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I I know how the the some of the scientists, you know, thing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Then but then what happened is I said, I'm not gonna do that anymore because I'm not being true to myself.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I'm not walking in the talk, you know.
- 26:07Speaker 2: So then I started creating that alignment and showing up from a place of power, like saying, this is what I am, this is what I'm doing, this is what I'm teaching, I read it to my patients, I read it to, you know, and then I started and then through that path is when my husband and I started co creating hard q, which is hard intelligence.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And what does it mean to live life with hard intelligence?
- 26:27Speaker 2: And then yeah, I just started coming out and just being myself and there was a freedom and it's interesting that the more I did that and I came from a place of power and excitement People were like, oh, what is she doing?
- 26:39Speaker 2: Oh, what are you doing?
- 26:39Speaker 2: What are you reading?
- 26:40Speaker 2: Like, patients and doctors?
- 26:42Speaker 2: You know, even now they're like, Tell me more.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I want to understand because when you're showing up in your vitality, without trying to, like, convince anyone, I'm just being me, it it can rub off on people and Others can get triggered.
- 26:54Speaker 2: And that's their path.
- 26:55Speaker 2: That's not my that's not my my business.
- 26:58Speaker 2: You know?
- 26:59Speaker 2: That just makes it even more clear.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That's not an alignment.
- 27:02Speaker 2: It said, like, why why should I try to get myself to fit in instead of me shining all of the fullness of what I'm all about?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 1: And I think when you're operating from a very, like, masculine space in that sense, right, like, then incorporating the spirituality and all these all these other pieces do have some sort of shame.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Like, know that was part of my journey towards, like, I didn't wanna talk to people at my job about what I did.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Right?
- 27:23Speaker 1: But now everybody's like, oh, you wanna talk astrology?
- 27:25Speaker 1: You wanna, like, heal yourself?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Like, we'll talk Rochelle, you know, and it feels so freeing to, like, to be able to have that.
- 27:30Speaker 1: As a cardiologist, was there like a line between your medical practice and then incorporating, like, if, like, were you able to bring these modalities of healing to your clients?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Or was that something separate that you had to do on your own?
- 27:45Speaker 2: What a great question?
- 27:46Speaker 2: And it's interesting as I evolved, you know, you know, they're saying that you can only serve others at the level of conscious ness that you are at.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Right?
- 27:52Speaker 2: So then as I'm evolving, it's interesting people wanted me even even like other doctors, they wanted me to be the leader They invited me to these leadership roles.
- 28:01Speaker 2: They wanted my opinion because I was evolving and and and so I even got trapped in some of those things that were not aligned with me because They wanted my passion and excitement and wisdom.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Right?
- 28:11Speaker 2: And then with patience, I started feeling into patience.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I started realizing that there is something deeper here when it comes to the heart.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And and what I believe is that, you know, there's a lot of things that are happening and especially with the heart when stuff is happening, there is an out of alignment.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And so I can now what I do and I've kind of, like, kind of, like, evolved into this.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I can feel people where they're at.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Are they ready to hear?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Some people, patients, like, they don't want to hear it.
- 28:41Speaker 2: They just want to pill.
- 28:41Speaker 2: They just give me the medication.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Give me the procedure.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't want anything else because they're not ready to be.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And I might just throw a little seat, you know, a little I'll feel kind of what they're ready for, and I'll throw a little seat.
- 28:51Speaker 2: About something.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Usually, just even, like, honoring your body.
- 28:55Speaker 2: What are we eating?
- 28:56Speaker 2: You know, food is medicine?
- 28:58Speaker 2: I come I could start there.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And then other people that I can feel are more ready, I get them to feel something because usually the entrance into the heart is feeling.
- 29:06Speaker 2: You know, so then I I kind of listen to their story and I feel into them.
- 29:10Speaker 2: And then after taking care of their physical part of the heart, then I hold space for them and I just bring some I like I like this.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I I shine the light on on some of the things that they may not be seeing that serves as a portal back into their own path.
- 29:25Speaker 2: So, yeah, I definitely I definitely do that for for patients.
- 29:28Speaker 2: It's for patients.
- 29:29Speaker 2: It's like whether it's patients or clients, this is kind of what I what I do.
- 29:34Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I, like, I don't know, maybe three or four years ago, I was diagnosed with PBC, and I knew there was something going on for years and years.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And it's funny because it actually started during abusive relationship.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And so I've always kind of I've noticed it when I'm in high stress.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I've noticed it when I have a ton of sugar.
- 29:53Speaker 1: But I didn't wanna get, like, the actual diagnosis because I didn't want that to define it for me, and I didn't want to be, like, oh, well, this is it.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I have this issue.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna end up on medication.
- 30:02Speaker 1: This is, like, the end of my life.
- 30:03Speaker 1: You know?
- 30:04Speaker 1: And like it did, if you have, like, any irregularities in your heart, like, it is scary.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 30:09Speaker 1: To, like, have it beat in a weird way and just kind of or stop sometimes.
- 30:13Speaker 1: And so I finally I was it was just like really bad, so I finally went to the doctor and they told me that.
- 30:19Speaker 1: And I was just I just believe so much in, like, the healing power and I know, like, I know in myself part of it is suppressed anger.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I just think there's stuff in there that has to be know what I'm not saying?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Like, I'm not taking the medical, you know, diagnosis seriously or anything like that, but I just I knew there was so much more to it than just being like, okay.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Here's a pill.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You have this thing.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You know, be careful.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But yeah.
- 30:40Speaker 1: So I think that's really beautiful to be able to lead clients and to trusting their own body.
- 30:44Speaker 1: You know?
- 30:45Speaker 1: And when you were talking about running and how you had to stop running, you were kind of forced into it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Was it were you missing signs from your body previous to that, that word, like, slow down.
- 30:55Speaker 1: This is not right for today.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I was because I was following the agenda of the mind.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I was following the agenda of the expectations and the pressures of the patterns of the beliefs that I had.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 31:09Speaker 2: That I wasn't even conscious because that's how it works.
- 31:11Speaker 2: It's all unconscious.
- 31:12Speaker 2: But there was this unconscious agenda that it was it was energy of pressure.
- 31:16Speaker 2: So yeah, of course, anything that would get in the way of what I believe to be productive was was was gonna hold me back.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Like, that was my mindset because that's what I knew.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 31:26Speaker 2: So, yeah, I missed all the signs.
- 31:28Speaker 2: There are so many signs, and I really feel that we're always given signs and doorways.
- 31:32Speaker 2: And then when we miss them, that's when we end up in these crisis.
- 31:36Speaker 2: You know, the crisis is like, okay.
- 31:37Speaker 2: You've messed up all the signs.
- 31:38Speaker 2: The universe is like, okay.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to intervene here because you're not getting the message and you're going so far away from you that you're gonna just right yourself.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 31:46Speaker 2: And so there's, you know, that's how how I feel things happen in life.
- 31:49Speaker 2: And I see that, you know, even with the PVC like we were talking, I mean, I think that is so powerful because Yes.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Of course.
- 31:56Speaker 2: We wanna make sure that we're dealing with what is a medical condition.
- 32:00Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 32:00Speaker 2: Like, just forget about it.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Go meditate.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Like, I I think, yes, you gotta look at it, you gotta understand, okay, what is it?
- 32:06Speaker 2: And for sure, like, I always ask people.
- 32:09Speaker 2: So when you're getting these, what's happening?
- 32:11Speaker 2: A lot of times there's trauma, like a lot of people that it's stuff that has happened, like, that hasn't been processed, hasn't been felt, and that trauma when it's not you know, healed and loved, it shows up in the body, you know, and everybody has different ways.
- 32:26Speaker 2: But a lot of times, you know, with the rhythm, a lot of times just out of alignment, like something, what's happening that's creating that stress?
- 32:33Speaker 2: And of course, when the body's in stress, you know, you're in the cortisol and adrenaline, the body, like, that's what happens.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Things like that happen.
- 32:41Speaker 2: It's known.
- 32:41Speaker 2: It's physiology.
- 32:42Speaker 2: You know, your the chemistry of stress creates such things.
- 32:46Speaker 2: And so what a smart question?
- 32:47Speaker 2: I mean, it's so intuitive of you that you said to yourself, I'm going to listen to myself.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna see what are the patterns And then, yeah, of course, the body can heal.
- 32:56Speaker 2: We can of course, our body is so intelligent.
- 32:58Speaker 2: We can heal ourselves.
- 32:59Speaker 2: I think most people in the mainstream society, they don't take that space.
- 33:02Speaker 2: They're living constantly in the pressure, energy of stress.
- 33:05Speaker 2: And when you're in that energy, it's just it's like you're constantly running from the bear.
- 33:09Speaker 2: And so when do you get to relax?
- 33:10Speaker 2: You can't relax in that sympathetic nervous system, you gotta be in the that's just impossible.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You actually your body doesn't let you heal.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It actually inhibits the healing.
- 33:20Speaker 2: So you can't heal.
- 33:21Speaker 2: So you gotta go into the relaxed state parasympathetic heart coherence, and that's what actually promotes, you know, healing, but this is not something that I feel is known or open, and this is why I'm here to, you know, speak about this.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And, like, it's for me, sometimes when I feel it, like, I it almost gives me gratitude because it pulls me to the moment.
- 33:40Speaker 1: You know?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Like, I'm so I can't be thinking of anything else when it it's literally like, hey, come back here.
- 33:45Speaker 1: But, you know, it started in fear.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I avoided the doctor for years because I was afraid.
- 33:50Speaker 1: And then as I became, like, on my spiritual journey and, like, kind of, you know, you get that point, like like you said, where it's like you can't not avoid what's happening or the things that and and some people do.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Right?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Some people can go entire lives in avoiding it.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But for for others, you know, I mean, there there there is that point that rock bottom where you're just like, okay, something has to change.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And so that's kind of when I started that journey of, like, there's more to this.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Let me get curious.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Let me ask questions.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Let me figure out what's going on here because, you know, yeah, it's just I love it.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I call it when people like, if you were to come to me, I would have been like, it's kinda like the knocking.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Hello?
- 34:26Speaker 2: Pay attention.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Like, it's exactly what I see people.
- 34:28Speaker 2: So you're, like, intuitively doing what most people don't do because most people are not like you.
- 34:33Speaker 2: You know, most patients when they're unfortunately, they're in a different kind of plane.
- 34:36Speaker 2: So that's – but that's what I would tell people.
- 34:38Speaker 2: When you're getting these arrhythmias, a lot of times it's like there's a knocking that's happening and your heart is saying, will you answer?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Will you will you pay attention?
- 34:46Speaker 2: Will you come to me?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Will you be present?
- 34:48Speaker 2: These these are the signs.
- 34:50Speaker 2: And so you're, you know, you naturally intuitive thought that for yourself.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And that's how the auto healing happens.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And can you go into a little bit more deep detail about what the Heart Q and Heart Intelligence is and how you work with people with that.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 35:06Speaker 2: So we all know about IQ, you know, cognitive intelligence, EQ, emotional intelligence, you know.
- 35:12Speaker 2: So Heart Q is is heart intelligence.
- 35:15Speaker 2: And so basically, what happens is that when you're in the space of the heart, so the space of the mind is that you're living on the default of the mind and the mind is getting it's it's it's a consult or it's information predominantly from the we call it the unconscious matrix.
- 35:33Speaker 2: All kinds of, like, programming, you know, conditioning, you know, like, life experiences that has happened.
- 35:39Speaker 2: And it's all of them rooted on some lack.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Some you know, all of them if you trace it back at some level of lack, not enoughness.
- 35:46Speaker 2: So it's constantly telling you you gotta do this, you gotta be like this so that you can feel enough, so that you can feel worthy.
- 35:55Speaker 2: So that you can feel happy.
- 35:57Speaker 2: So then that's the pressure when you're living up here in the mind, and the energy that that's running on is the energy of stress.
- 36:03Speaker 2: It's a survival.
- 36:04Speaker 2: You're trying to survive.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It's coming from fear and threat, separation.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Anyway, that's kind of what go what's happening there.
- 36:10Speaker 2: With and so you can't.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Like, the mind is not gonna that stress is not gonna be, like, oh, let's pause and be in the present moment.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Why would you do that?
- 36:17Speaker 2: There's, like, you got a that's a threat.
- 36:19Speaker 2: You know, so there's no time for that.
- 36:20Speaker 2: And that's why that that feeling.
- 36:22Speaker 2: So with the heart, the idea is that when you're living a life like that, you're coming from that energy of, I need to fill my inner void from outside in.
- 36:30Speaker 2: And so you're coming from that your motivation becomes how can I feel safe?
- 36:36Speaker 2: How can I do all these things to fit in and belong?
- 36:39Speaker 2: So then I can be enough.
- 36:41Speaker 2: And that's why when you do that, you're you're not engaged in a because the heart is not operating like that.
- 36:45Speaker 2: So you're moving in all these directions that is not who you are and that's why you end up in these situations where like the relationship, health, self depression, and it's it's that's kind of the stuff that happens.
- 36:56Speaker 2: So with the heart, the idea of heart, queue, and heart intelligences is that you put the heart in the driver's seat.
- 37:01Speaker 2: You know, like Einstein, you know, says, you know, the intuitive heart is a gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant, but we have created a society where we have forgotten the gift and we honor the servant.
- 37:16Speaker 2: And so now here what we are having the mind and the unconscious and the limitations in the driver's seat, and then we're wondering why things are falling apart.
- 37:22Speaker 2: You know, so the idea is you put the heart in the driver's seat.
- 37:26Speaker 2: And when you put the heart in the driver's seat, you come from a place of coherence.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Now you're coming, you're centering yourself and the energy of being, and the energy of feeling, and the energy of tuning into, from a place of truth and wisdom and love.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Now that heart is leading the way.
- 37:43Speaker 2: What's happening is you actually create a state of coherence.
- 37:46Speaker 2: So there's, you know, even science is now showing that there's these patterns called heart rate variability, and through that pattern is basically how there's a process that happens in the body.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So when heart is guiding the way and leading the way, there's a powerful electromagnetic field.
- 38:01Speaker 2: You can feel it because you have that vitality energy.
- 38:03Speaker 2: You know, when we're in that state of flow, or vitality or in love or like seeing a sunset or meditating, that's fullness, that's the heart.
- 38:11Speaker 2: That's that's when you're in the state of coherence and you're creating this electromagnetic field you're in a passion, a vitality, or in a flow state.
- 38:18Speaker 2: When that happens, the heart rate variability patterns actually sensing us to the brain saying, it's all good.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Relax.
- 38:25Speaker 2: So now the mind is just like awesome.
- 38:28Speaker 2: So relaxing and MRI studies have shown that the cautious brain the front broke frontable ring is actually activated when you're in coherent state.
- 38:37Speaker 2: And the amygdala, which is a reactive brain, the one that makes you react, you know.
- 38:41Speaker 2: That one is deactivated.
- 38:43Speaker 2: So now you're able to have clear mind, open mind, and strategize and work harmonize with the heart.
- 38:50Speaker 2: The heart is guiding and the mind is following the heart and strategizing based on what the heart wants.
- 38:55Speaker 2: And now your amygdala, which is the one that, you know, you react from, is downregulated.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So you're not as prone to be reactive.
- 39:03Speaker 2: And then you're sending these signals to to the to the body, well-being hormones, and all these biomarkers that are pro health, pro well-being, pro expansion.
- 39:13Speaker 2: And now you're feeling that because your body, you're having the heart chemistry.
- 39:16Speaker 2: And the heart chemistry is a chemistry of aliveness, vitality, health, open as harmony, and that's where health is happening.
- 39:25Speaker 2: And that's where you're able to think most clearly, and you're able to meet your your the stuff that's coming up in your life from a place of centeredness, not reacting.
- 39:35Speaker 2: You know, the mind is kind of pressure, thoughts reaction.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Pressure, thought reaction.
- 39:39Speaker 2: The heart is more like being feeling, listening, and acting.
- 39:44Speaker 2: So I'm being present.
- 39:46Speaker 2: K.
- 39:46Speaker 2: What is what is true for me?
- 39:48Speaker 2: What am I gonna do right now?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Is it coming from pattern or is it coming from truth?
- 39:52Speaker 2: And then so I'm I'm being present, I'm listening, and then I'm acting from that space.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Rather than reacting reacting reacting, which is just automatic coming from the reactive brain and having all this triggers and emotional reactivity and blame and judgment the heart is completely you know, so there's a process, it's a new muscle that you develop.
- 40:11Speaker 2: You know, you develop a muscle of.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:13Speaker 2: What does it mean to slow down, breathe, tuning into yourself feeling and then in the moment to moment and in the big decisions, you know.
- 40:22Speaker 2: So that's kind of the the way of the the heart.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And and from that space, you open up to awareness.
- 40:28Speaker 2: So, you know, without awareness, without shining the light to, like, what's actually driving us, you know, Carly Young says, you know, until you make the unconscious, conscious, it will rule you and it'll call it fate.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You'll say, why has this happened to me?
- 40:44Speaker 2: Why is this happening to me?
- 40:45Speaker 2: Like, all of that?
- 40:46Speaker 2: And you realize, hold on a second.
- 40:48Speaker 2: It's not happening to me.
- 40:49Speaker 2: I'm actually operating from all these beliefs and unhealed wounds.
- 40:53Speaker 2: And patterns, and it's all coming from here.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I need to heal that.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I need to see that.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I need to be present to that without judgment.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And then see where that's coming from.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Heal that.
- 41:03Speaker 2: So then it's no longer, you know, ruling me.
- 41:05Speaker 2: And then, so there's the awareness, there's a feeling that the heart is inviting you to feel your way rather than react to your way or think your way, there's a feeling.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And then there's a connecting connecting to Okay.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Because we are whole.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Like, in your if when we realize that the authentic us is fully whole and enough as we are, That's not something we think about.
- 41:27Speaker 2: That's something we feel and experience.
- 41:29Speaker 2: So what are those experiences?
- 41:30Speaker 2: What is it that we love?
- 41:32Speaker 2: What is it that expands us?
- 41:33Speaker 2: You know, so there's a process of the awareness, the feeling, reconnecting, and re experiencing, and then taking that heart aligned action.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Because a lot of times, we feel even patients, oh, I knew that I should have done that.
- 41:45Speaker 2: But we don't do it.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And that takes courage because to actually act on what you hear takes courage.
- 41:51Speaker 2: And there's a lot of things we can get into that gets in the way of that.
- 41:54Speaker 2: You know, why don't people do what they know is right.
- 41:56Speaker 2: So there's a lot of things that blocks us from the heart because the heart is always there, the intelligence is always available to us.
- 42:03Speaker 2: So Anyway, that's a a little tidbit.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:05Speaker 1: That's fascinating.
- 42:06Speaker 1: What would you say is the biggest reason that we block ourselves from listening to to our heart?
- 42:11Speaker 2: I mean, I'll probably chop it up to three things.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Number one is just an overactive mind when you have high beta activity or, like, emotional triggers you it's impossible.
- 42:20Speaker 2: You cannot enter the heart.
- 42:22Speaker 2: You cannot think your way.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Number two, it's a distrust.
- 42:24Speaker 2: You know, we're conditioned.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Like, unless we're living in some other planet, we're actually conditioned to not trust our heart.
- 42:31Speaker 2: There's some weird thing like don't trust your heart.
- 42:33Speaker 2: It's not safe and you better listen to the experts out there because they know the best thing you.
- 42:37Speaker 2: So it's like I'm giving somebody the keys to my life and saying you drive because they know better than me.
- 42:42Speaker 2: It's like, why don't I just give them the keys to my house, my furniture?
- 42:45Speaker 2: It's like it but it happens like that.
- 42:47Speaker 2: It took me so long to actually learn to trust my heart because we're we're going against not just this lifetime, but our family edge of pattern is that's number two.
- 42:59Speaker 2: And the other one is the other line, there's a few, but the if I were to choose the other one, It's some people don't want to be honest.
- 43:07Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 43:08Speaker 2: It's hard to hear the honest truth because some people don't trust that they can handle the truth.
- 43:12Speaker 2: You know, sometimes the truth is gonna be like, oh, really?
- 43:15Speaker 2: Oh, wait.
- 43:17Speaker 2: All this time, I thought it was that.
- 43:18Speaker 2: It was actually all in me or oh, this relationship is not for me or, like, it's gonna tell you things that this job that I thought I was in, it's not for me.
- 43:27Speaker 2: It's gonna tell us some things that we may feel we're not ready for, and so we may wanna block and distract away from.
- 43:35Speaker 2: The whole message behind that is just the mind, the ego, the All these patterns and stuff from the mind is always auto suppressing.
- 43:41Speaker 2: So that's of course, it's not true.
- 43:43Speaker 2: But these are the main if I already say the main top three things, these are the these are the top three things that block us from from accessing what is already there.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:51Speaker 1: I think of well, like, flow state.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Right?
- 43:54Speaker 1: Russia, I think I don't I mean, I guess my question with that is, can you do you think people kinda kind of, like, live from that state constantly?
- 44:05Speaker 2: No.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:06Speaker 2: That's such a beautiful brush.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Thank you for bringing that.
- 44:09Speaker 2: I I like, even from me, like, there's this we're human beings, you know?
- 44:14Speaker 2: We have our heart, we have our you know, we have all these problems and pains, and we're given our heart as the antidote.
- 44:20Speaker 2: The antidote to everything is the love of that we are.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Right?
- 44:23Speaker 2: But, like, there's a lot of blockage against that.
- 44:25Speaker 2: So no.
- 44:26Speaker 2: We it's like if we live like that, then we'd be like out there in the universe one with the oneness of this one.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Or whatever you wanna call it, I to me living a hard aligned life is not being in that state.
- 44:38Speaker 2: And sometimes I even I went through this, like, judging myself.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Oh, here I go.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Again.
- 44:42Speaker 2: And it's but it's more about it.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I like to call it coming back.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Coming back to I I love that because coming back compassion.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Where he wouldn't be?
- 44:52Speaker 2: It's like, what are humans?
- 44:53Speaker 2: And, yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 2: We're gonna mess up.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 2: We're gonna judge.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 2: We're gonna have patterns.
- 44:57Speaker 2: We're gonna blame.
- 44:58Speaker 2: We're gonna overreact.
- 44:59Speaker 2: That's perfect.
- 45:01Speaker 2: That's part of our human journey, you know.
- 45:02Speaker 2: And I feel like it's like we're here to experience our human journey.
- 45:06Speaker 2: And in that way, in that journey, come back.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Just keep coming back.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Not without perfection.
- 45:12Speaker 2: You know, like, not not putting that pressure of, like, I have to do it and I cannot miss up.
- 45:15Speaker 2: You know?
- 45:16Speaker 2: So they're okay.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I'm I'm totally I can't get out of this pattern right now, and I'm just gonna sit here with it, and and I'm not gonna judge myself.
- 45:23Speaker 2: And there's this, like, loving tenderness and compassion that we're being invited to be present with whatever it is that we're experiencing.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 45:31Speaker 2: I love that question.
- 45:32Speaker 2: My own because that's that's a really powerful one.
- 45:35Speaker 2: I feel.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm in I'm doing, like, a psychic development course, and I've always been super tapped into, like, intuitively and meditation my heart.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Right?
- 45:44Speaker 1: And and as you explained, that love feeling, that light feeling, like, I know when I've, like, tapped in to that.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Right?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Because I feel it and I had a meditation last weekend, and it was I almost felt high.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Like, I for a second, I was like, whoa.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Am I gonna come out of this?
- 45:57Speaker 1: Right?
- 45:57Speaker 1: And I have, like, a regular practice that I usually do in the evening.
- 46:01Speaker 1: And I had I had just, like, sent a voice note to the facilitator of the program.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I'm in telling her about this experience.
- 46:06Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, I wouldn't try and, like, get back into that tonight.
- 46:08Speaker 1: And I was like, no.
- 46:09Speaker 1: No.
- 46:09Speaker 1: No.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I wasn't.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Because I know that that specific experience, it's not something that's gonna be recreated every single time.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Right?
- 46:14Speaker 1: I've been meditating for six years and that was the first time I reached that extent of it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And I don't shame myself.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I think, like, my logical masculine side in the beginning was, like, I will meditate and I will get to you know, and it just never it it's so fluid.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Right?
- 46:28Speaker 1: You have to flow with it.
- 46:29Speaker 1: So, yeah, I love that answer because it wouldn't it be wonderful to live like that, but then you wouldn't even be here.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Right?
- 46:34Speaker 1: What was the point of this experience if we're constantly in this higher state?
- 46:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 2: I I I think it's so great to just be okay with being human, you know.
- 46:43Speaker 2: And I think even the the hard way is to embrace that.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Like, I'm embracing that.
- 46:47Speaker 2: And I Yeah.
- 46:48Speaker 2: There's times in life when we get to the states.
- 46:51Speaker 2: And and by the way, when you're in those states, like, that's actually you're, like, in a really powerful hard state because the more that you are surrendering to your heart, your electromagnetic field is expanding, so you become this emanation of love.
- 47:02Speaker 2: And that is by the way, when you get to that state again, that's where the manifestation happened.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like, now if you bring in that state the things you wanna manifest because if the the reason we're not even manifesting is because we want it, but we don't believe it's possible.
- 47:15Speaker 2: So we're actually blocking.
- 47:16Speaker 2: We're actually resisting.
- 47:17Speaker 2: But in that state, everything is possible.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I know I know that.
- 47:20Speaker 2: I know what you mean by that.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 47:21Speaker 2: So when you're in that state again, that's like amazing opportunity to plant in some of the seeds of like what you want to manifest.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Because now you're in that high frequency state and that's that's where things aren't just manifest thing like what you think is becoming and echoing back to you.
- 47:35Speaker 2: So that's one thing I wanted to say.
- 47:37Speaker 2: But, you know, the other thing, that's what's by the way, when you're having the greatest communications from your highest self.
- 47:43Speaker 2: That's when you're getting the greatest clarity.
- 47:45Speaker 2: And there's times when we're we go on that, those states, and then there's times when we get our anger, we get our grief, we feel all of that, then then the beauty of it will open up to feeling that, you know, feeling feeling whatever is rising.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I think that's kind of beauty of the heart is feeling, all parts of ourselves.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Whatever it is, like there's an embracing attitude and openness.
- 48:07Speaker 2: To whatever that is arising.
- 48:09Speaker 2: There is no that's good and the other one is bad, you know.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 48:12Speaker 2: And that's kinda like how the mind is.
- 48:14Speaker 2: And I think we all underlying.
- 48:16Speaker 2: We all have this amazing powerful heart is just that we got conditioned.
- 48:20Speaker 2: And and so it's just a process of unconditioning and relearning and being like, the more that we are practicing that muscle with all the things that you're doing and other well, everybody has different ways to get there.
- 48:32Speaker 2: There's no one I don't believe there's just one way.
- 48:34Speaker 2: You know, there's many ways but whatever way that is, where you're just being and feeling and experiencing the fullness that you are.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Mhmm.
- 48:43Speaker 1: And when you talk about, like, this energetic state of, like, being tapped into your heart in that way, is that something that, like, can be measured?
- 48:49Speaker 1: Like, can you see that, like, from a scientific perspective?
- 48:53Speaker 2: Yes.
- 48:53Speaker 2: So first of all, two things.
- 48:55Speaker 2: You can actually tell who's living in their heart, like who's kinda, like, living on purpose because they have this lights are on kind of feeling.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Like, their eyes are sparkling.
- 49:05Speaker 2: They're passionate.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Like, I feel that in you right now.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Like, you're you're on.
- 49:08Speaker 2: You're activated.
- 49:09Speaker 2: You know?
- 49:09Speaker 2: The people who are not and they're living in more of like the mind state, there's like an energy of the cortisol charged energy or depletion.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Usually, it's like, you know, like flat stress there's a high to that, but it's a stress high.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Cortisol high.
- 49:23Speaker 2: More depletion because you're like, oh my god.
- 49:25Speaker 2: I'm just so burnt out.
- 49:26Speaker 2: I'm nothing.
- 49:26Speaker 2: I'm like dead.
- 49:27Speaker 2: You know?
- 49:28Speaker 2: So there's a so that's one thing you can you can you can sense and you can tell, like, when you're around a person who's, like, you're feeling yourself, getting activated because you're around them because it's like there's a presence of so much emanation of their frequency.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Now that actually has been measured by heart mass.
- 49:43Speaker 2: So this the when when you're in that emanation and that oneness and that really powerful coherent, so whatever it is, love, compassion, whatever you wanna call it, that you can actually measure this electromagnetic field that can be measured up to ten feet apart, which we just have those methods.
- 49:59Speaker 2: It probably later on, we'll be able to measure way more.
- 50:02Speaker 2: And that's why we have this, you know, nonverbal communication and feeling of people.
- 50:07Speaker 2: You know, you you said that you were like, you have that intuition.
- 50:09Speaker 2: That means that you are having that kind of that that feel that is present and that's communicate you're getting information about people and by yourself and about what's happening through that.
- 50:19Speaker 2: That's not happening at the mind.
- 50:21Speaker 2: It's not like you can say, oh, I understand rationally why.
- 50:23Speaker 2: It's not even like that.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You're just feeling that, you know.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 50:26Speaker 2: And when people are in the stress energy, that whole field has been shown that it shrinks shrinks shrinks.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Because this is so powerful.
- 50:35Speaker 2: When you're in the heart state, the coherent state, and the flow state, and all of that, that actually creates you're actually creating and emanating energy, which is why people that are in the flow state, for instance, or passionate, or like one with there's a feeling like I have so much energy.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Right?
- 50:52Speaker 2: And you're just like writing or you're talking or you're creating something.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Right?
- 50:56Speaker 2: Where it is in your stress energy, So that one's life giving.
- 50:59Speaker 2: That's the heart chemistry.
- 51:01Speaker 2: The other one's stress is life taking.
- 51:03Speaker 2: So you know you're in the stress energy.
- 51:05Speaker 2: When you feel depleted, you're reaching out for something.
- 51:07Speaker 2: You're reaching out for energy because you're just like depleted inside and you're you're that's that's depleting.
- 51:12Speaker 2: So that's actually taking life away and impatience I can actually tell how people have been living by just the way that they look.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Like, they're all the the you know, when you're in a stress it ages people.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Like, the telomere is, you know, shortened.
- 51:28Speaker 2: You can see that.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Whereas the people that are, like, vitality in them, there's, like, an aliveness and then they almost younger.
- 51:35Speaker 2: It's because they're living on purpose.
- 51:37Speaker 2: They're living on that passion.
- 51:38Speaker 2: They're living in that flow.
- 51:39Speaker 2: And that actually lengthens the telomere.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Telomeres.
- 51:42Speaker 2: It actually, you know, has been shown to have clear skin, like just pro health, youthfulness is there, vitality is there.
- 51:49Speaker 2: So that's life giving, you know, that the Japanese call it the IKEI.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 51:53Speaker 2: You know, you live on on purpose.
- 51:54Speaker 2: You live on on meaningfulness.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:58Speaker 1: So It's funny.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I also bartend.
- 52:00Speaker 1: And when one of my coworkers will like see sometimes tips and she's always just like, what are you saying to these people?
- 52:07Speaker 1: And I'm like, I don't say I'm just me.
- 52:09Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 52:10Speaker 1: And I have, like, auto suggestions and I have mantras that I repeat, like, I wake up and I always put myself, like, in this state because it's, like, I have to show up and work with the public.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Right?
- 52:18Speaker 1: And that can be exhausting sometimes.
- 52:20Speaker 1: But I'm just like, I don't want it you know, I feel like I I work so much on myself too, and I don't wanna be like, because it can be a very dramatic environment.
- 52:27Speaker 1: You know, any service industry, any environment really is in general.
- 52:32Speaker 1: But I feel like specifically that one.
- 52:33Speaker 1: So it's like I'm always trying to put myself in that in that state where it's like I am I put up my, like, thing and I'm like, your words will just stay there, but I think, you know, like, being in that.
- 52:42Speaker 1: And I can tell when I go in and I let that seep in and I kind of like you know, it sucks down my energy a little bit and it's reflected.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Right?
- 52:49Speaker 1: And it's and and so it's interesting that you said that because I I think that, you know, our energy is so powerful and people do feel it in just every way.
- 52:58Speaker 2: That's when that is happening, that's basically like I call it, you're getting the green light from the universe.
- 53:04Speaker 2: So when these things are happening and you're getting like gifts or tips, universe is saying thumbs up, what you're doing is great.
- 53:10Speaker 2: You know, when opposite is happening, you know, you hit yourself or you're like, whatever.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Universal is like, nope.
- 53:16Speaker 2: You're going the wrong way.
- 53:17Speaker 2: It's kinda like these nudges, you know, that we're getting.
- 53:19Speaker 2: It's so important why you touch time because I think so often like people in any service.
- 53:24Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what that is.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:26Speaker 2: No matter what.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Just even in the family, even any just in life, when you're waking up and you're not taking that time to, like, fill yourself and to expand in yourself, whatever that looks like.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:36Speaker 2: You said mantra's meditation, nature, whatever dancing.
- 53:39Speaker 2: When that's happening, it's like you're filling up on your tank.
- 53:43Speaker 2: And then you're coming to this point of overflow.
- 53:45Speaker 2: So that's why when you're around others, It's just overflowing on them.
- 53:48Speaker 2: You know, you're not even, like, trying.
- 53:50Speaker 2: You're just being yourself.
- 53:51Speaker 2: And they're just receiving, like, what is overflowing from you?
- 53:55Speaker 2: That's that's how you know that you have a powerful electromagnetic magnetic field from your heart.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 54:00Speaker 2: That's how you know.
- 54:01Speaker 2: And why it's important?
- 54:03Speaker 2: Otherwise, you if you don't do that, you're at risk for getting easily affected by others.
- 54:07Speaker 2: You're at risk for, you know, other you know, your energy being hijacked or getting triggered or you know, getting easily leaving yourself to patterns, to wounds, and all of that stuff, you know.
- 54:20Speaker 2: So the more we do that in the morning, they probably show up to others, whether it's work, family, friends, I think we would have a much different world, you know.
- 54:28Speaker 2: If all of us would kinda do that, I think.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:32Speaker 1: Can you speak to, you know, you did touch on emotions and the heart and, of course, like, being in the emotional mass mastery podcast, I'm always fascinated with that.
- 54:40Speaker 1: So can you speak a little bit more to that specific connection?
- 54:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 54:46Speaker 2: This is such a great topic.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Again, I have lived, like, I had lived decades of my life running away from my emotions, you know, because I thought it was bad.
- 54:56Speaker 2: I thought unless it's good emotion that makes me happy, then then it's bad, you know.
- 55:02Speaker 2: And I think that this is something that we don't get taught.
- 55:04Speaker 2: We don't get, you know, kids don't get trained as and, you know, they learn a lot about what knowledge information, but we're not learning how to interact and deal with our more emotional human being.
- 55:14Speaker 2: You know, we actually make emotional decisions.
- 55:16Speaker 2: So for me, the the whole point of the way that I experience, you know, how do we how do we use our heart?
- 55:23Speaker 2: To to work with our emotions, to work with our feelings is the following.
- 55:27Speaker 2: That we open and receive whatever emotion and whatever feeling is arising.
- 55:33Speaker 2: There is no resistance and and it's a very important little distinction.
- 55:38Speaker 2: So you open to feel.
- 55:39Speaker 2: So grief is showing up.
- 55:41Speaker 2: And we're resisting that.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Then what's happening is that we're not allowing ourselves to feel what is coming up that needs to be processed so that you can have a healthy body and healthy emotion and healthy mind.
- 55:52Speaker 2: And then what happens is all of these motions that are not allowed, they actually seep into your body and they create blockages.
- 55:59Speaker 2: You know?
- 56:00Speaker 2: So so when when things are showing up and emotions are happening, there's two key things that I distinguish, you know, from the heart perspective.
- 56:08Speaker 2: When emotions are intense or let's say an emotional trigger, it's very important to feel the feeling, but without believing the narrative.
- 56:18Speaker 2: Because it's usually gonna be a narrative that comes along that wants to hijack you.
- 56:23Speaker 2: It wants to take you back to that emotional wound, you know, stories that are being created.
- 56:29Speaker 2: And then what happens is if you leave the feeling and you go into these stories, then you end up like in this emotional reaction.
- 56:35Speaker 2: And you're just like sitting in emotional reaction rather than just feeling the feeling, and you think you're actually dealing with it, but you're actually analyzing it and thinking it to death and just reacting to all the thoughts and all the patterns and all the beliefs that are not true because people are going there.
- 56:50Speaker 2: So I think that's a really important distinction.
- 56:52Speaker 2: I know I used to do that all the time and that by the way makes the whole thing worse.
- 56:57Speaker 2: You know what happens, when that happens, it overtakes people, it hijacks people.
- 57:02Speaker 2: And now the emotion is taking you over, and now you're just like totally that's that's what happens.
- 57:07Speaker 2: People get hijacked, and that's why people our emotions get a bad connotation.
- 57:10Speaker 2: But that's different.
- 57:11Speaker 2: And the other thing is that you you you really stay away from blaming.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Like, I'm feeling this because of that guy.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I'm feeling this because so you you just no.
- 57:22Speaker 2: I'm feeling this.
- 57:23Speaker 2: I I'm not gonna make somebody else responsible for my feelings, you know, because that's not me owning, but that's not healthy.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Right?
- 57:29Speaker 2: That's like a victim mentality, and that's just disempowering me and blaming someone else, and I and responsibility for me.
- 57:35Speaker 2: So that's that's the idea that, you know, we feel whatever is there with an energy like Roomie's poem I don't know if you heard of Rudy's poem, it's called the invitation.
- 57:44Speaker 2: Something I forgot how it goes, but it's just like whatever feeling is coming.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Sometimes we didn't plan it.
- 57:52Speaker 2: It was like, are you serious?
- 57:53Speaker 2: Like, I don't really I don't really have time for this, but there's, you know, it's coming because it once we are here to feel it, And to invite it in, take a seat, what, you know, feel it.
- 58:04Speaker 2: And then what are you here to tell me?
- 58:05Speaker 2: What what are you here?
- 58:06Speaker 2: What's happening here?
- 58:07Speaker 2: You know?
- 58:07Speaker 2: So That's the that's the approach from the heart.
- 58:10Speaker 2: As you feel it, a lot of times a feeling is energy, a lot it's charged, it's hard to just feel it and be still.
- 58:17Speaker 2: So it's so important to whatever you feel naturally move, go into the nature, dance, you know, extra whatever.
- 58:24Speaker 2: That looks like everybody has their own way to, like, feel it and express it in whatever way that feels for you.
- 58:30Speaker 2: And and and if you do that, it actually takes so much less because it's a resistance that makes it worse.
- 58:36Speaker 2: So it's a judgment that of that that makes you linger in it so long.
- 58:40Speaker 2: The people that are stuck is because they're judging themselves, they're going into patterns, and that's why it takes so long to get over it.
- 58:46Speaker 2: But if we just embrace it, open to it, feel it, express it, it actually goes by much more quicker.
- 58:51Speaker 2: And now you just let it move through you, you're opening to it, and then after that, after you've had that expression and that feeling, then you can connect to your heart and say, what?
- 59:02Speaker 2: What's going on here?
- 59:04Speaker 2: What is this feeling here to teach me?
- 59:06Speaker 2: Maybe there's a wound I haven't healed.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Maybe there's a trigger that I haven't loved, and I haven't seen, and it needs my love and attention.
- 59:12Speaker 2: So there is a process of opening and expanding to see what what is the bigger picture?
- 59:19Speaker 2: What is the message?
- 59:20Speaker 2: What, you know, there's a message.
- 59:22Speaker 2: There's a lesson.
- 59:23Speaker 2: There's an invitation.
- 59:24Speaker 2: For growth and expansion and healing.
- 59:28Speaker 2: And then the third part is we use our heart the unconditional love of our heart.
- 59:32Speaker 2: To meet whatever's coming up with love.
- 59:36Speaker 2: And the greater the womb, the greater the trauma just means you need that much love to meet it.
- 59:41Speaker 2: You know?
- 59:42Speaker 2: And a lot of times, we may need help.
- 59:44Speaker 2: You know?
- 59:44Speaker 2: Sometimes, you know, we're trying to do it on our own, and that's not the message.
- 59:48Speaker 2: The message is you're here with a community.
- 59:50Speaker 2: So whether you do it with your, you know, friends that you can trust or therapist or someone, some energy healer or whatever that looks like.
- 59:58Speaker 2: A lot of times we do need to be held like that love because it's really the love that heals the whatever's coming up just needs to be loved, it needs to be understood, it needs to be listened to.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: So that's the that's the approach of the the heart intelligence way.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: And I think that's so powerful what you said about feeling it without believing the narrative.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Because that honestly because that was gonna be my question is, like, how do you how do you feel without believing the narrative?
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: You know, because it can be you can really, like, get into that loop and let the mind I know my own practice when I'm feeling something, but it's it took me a while to get there.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Like, I was always going back and forth, but it's, like, journaling it out and then coming down to, like, the self awareness of, like, okay.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: This is what triggered me.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: This is why And then at the end of it, I always ask myself, do I know for sure that this story I'm telling myself is true?
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: And you never know.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: You don't know what anyone else is thinking.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: But if you have any, like, practices that can help people get into their body and feel it without letting the mind overtake it.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Here's what I here's what I have learned for myself.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: It's like really it's really funny.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I'm laughing because I because I you know, especially when we're triggered, in that time, we can never believe the story.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: It is pretty much the the only time you can believe the story is if you checking them with your heart.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: But you that means you gotta be, like, in the alpha state, you gotta be, like, slowing down.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: So in that trigger state, there's a narrative that has a charge energy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: That's like the stress.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: That's the emotional charge.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: A lot of times it's triggering back to unhilled wound, unhilled trauma, and it's telling you that narrative that is really not pretty.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: So it is so hard, by the way, I know that feeling.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: It is so hard because it really you really wanna go I I find myself, man, I just wanna go to that story because I know it's true.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: But then I've learned to introduce doubt.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Do I do I know it's true?
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: And then I actually have this thing that I say to myself, like, oh, that's right.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I'm in my charge energy.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Intense energy moving through.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Intense energy?
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: This is not the time to try to analyze.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: We never like my lesson is, I never analyze in the middle of a strong energy.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: In the middle of a strong emotion, it's not the time.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: It's not that divine timing for analysis.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: That's the time.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: To just feel.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: So then I will say, okay, I'm mad at that person.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: I'm not fine.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Well, what am I feeling?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Sadness.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Feeling sadness.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I'm just feeling it.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: So I just come back to feeling that sadness.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: And whatever it helps me, so I have songs that actually help me, I have like a playlist for like songs to, like, help me feel my sadness.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: You know, I have songs, like, for anger, like, anger.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: I may need to, like, take a bath and just, like, hit something.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Because I need to express that anger.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Otherwise, if you don't suppress express your anger, it's repressed.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And it's gonna show up whatever we're not dealing with healthily.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: It's going to be unconsciously transmitted on others, the people that we love normally.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: So, like, in partners, in relationships, it's coming out if if you don't do it consciously, it's coming out unconsciously, and it's not gonna be pretty.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: So to me, that's the that's the lesson.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: I don't ever focus on the story.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: And but I made, you know, and that that's what I do.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Another thing that I do, I may go to the woods and I'll say I feel this and I'm angry and I'll just share it.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: I just like, whatever I just express it, I you know, whatever that looks like.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: And then once it's out, now I can calm.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Now I'm like, okay.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: It's coming out.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Now that whole expression has released that charged energy.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: It's I I've allowed it to be channeled out.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Otherwise, it just channels deeper.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: So I channel it out.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Now I'm making space inside me.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Now I'm creating that capacity and availability.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: To connect to the deeper truth.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: So what is now I'm connecting to my heart.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: Grounding a lot of time helps in nature, journaling, your favorite music, your favorite dance, and then you connect to your your truth, your heart, and you say, okay, what is the deeper truth here?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: And now you're more conscious Now you're able to see the bigger picture because you're not emotionally charged.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Now you now you can analyze, you know, but you analyze with your heart.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: You're kind of using your heart to say, it's not analysis from mine.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: It's awareness from the heart.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: What's what was really happening here?
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Oh, like, hey.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I went into my my abandonment pattern, and that's what I did.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: And I interpreted the whole thing from me Okay.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: So what am I invited now to do?
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: So then I bring everything towards me.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: This is my invitation.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: What am I here to grow?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: What am I here to work on?
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: What am I here to learn?
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: And and that's that's how I do it.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Mhmm.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: If you have somebody that comes to you that because I know a lot of people really struggle with allowing themselves to feel that.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: And let's say it's your in your cardiologist, you know, perspective, If somebody well, so it's like a twofold question.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: For one, how do you recommend that they so, like, fully feel those emotions that they may be afraid to feel?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: And then the second part of that question is, if you've noticed, does it have any impact on the heart, like feeling such hence in such strong emotions at once, and then also afterwards.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Great.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna answer both of them.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Those are great questions.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: So the reason that people don't feel is because there's a limiting belief from the mind that it's not safe.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: So there's this kind of blockage.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Nope.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Don't don't feel.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: It's not safe to feel because you can't.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: There's a belief I cannot handle what I'm gonna feel.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: There's a fear there's some taboo there is a distress like I don't believe in myself.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: So a lot of times, I do recommend, get help, get, you know, work with someone because a lot of times you know, like Einstein said, we can only we can't sometimes solve the problem with the same consciousness that created it.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: So if I'm in this mindset that I am this way and it's not safe and I can't get out of that, well then if I keep trying the same thing over and over, it's just not gonna work.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: So You may need to go out there.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: There's retreats, you know, there's workshops, you know, there's therapists, you know, there's somatic work, you know, there's dancing, there's there's so many things out there that I would invite people to expand out of whatever what have you not tried?
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: What are you?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: What can you open to differently?
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: And with patients, what I do with them is I actually feel into like where they're at.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: And I'll ask questions that are more, what are you feeling?
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: What really is happening for you right now?
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: What, you know, you know, when you had that really high blood pressure, what was going on inside you?
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: What were you feeling?
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: And then I look at them and a lot of times that's when they start to feel and they will bring tears, and they will share, and I'll say, okay, this is it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: This is it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: I want you to go home and allow yourself to do this.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: So healthy for you, And this is one of the reasons that, to be honest, a lot of repressed emotions, undelt with emotions, creates disease and problems.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Now, what do you do with the heart?
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: So here's what's happening.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: This actually, science has shown that when people have repressed emotions, Anger, especially.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Anger, repressed anger has been shown to increase your risk of heart attack, I think by like twenty percent.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: So a lot of times like men when they come into the heart attack, I'll take care of them blah blah blah, you know, at the end, later on when it's all stable, So what's going on with you?
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Where?
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: What's happening?
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: And a lot of times, you know, men are like, oh, I can't I shouldn't feel.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: So then there's a repressed feelings of you know, this or a lot of times, you know, grief.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: And so when it's allowed to channel and to be expressed and to be felt within the realms of your heart, then it can flow and then you're you're you're coming to the chambers of your heart to heal it, meet it with love, and that's what allows it to be healed, you know, the you remove the walls and the blockages.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: But when these are repressed and they're not.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: The thing is just because you wanna deal with them doesn't mean they're not dealing with you.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Because constantly it's there.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: And it's there.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: It's showing up because you're not allowing yourself to feel it, but it's there.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: You'll interpret everything through those lands.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Everything is grief.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Like, you'll you'll you'll basically look for you'll basically see your relationship as grief because you're not expressing the grief that you have.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: You know, you'll get angry or your spouse because like they're so angry with them because you're not feeling your own anger.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: You're using somebody else to express that anger that you're not feeling yourself.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: And that, yeah, that has shown to increase your risk of heart attacks, increase your risk of hypertension, there is even a condition where whenever there's a stressful event that happens, it can actually directly directly affect the heart, the muscle of the heart.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: So the muscle no longer pumps normally, and it affects the hardy doing what it's called a cardiomyopathy.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: So the muscle of the heart is not working, and it's called stress cardiomyopathy.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: And so I developed heart failure from that.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: There's actually a condition cold stress cardiomyopathy, that is now people are becoming more and more aware of it.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: So again, it's in, like, the heart is as a reflection, is a signal of this is too much.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I this needs to be dealt with.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: So, yeah, the the heart is experiencing all of this.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Mhmm.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: This is fascinating and so amazing.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: And there's so many places I could go still with the conversation.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: But I wanna leave it with, you know, if there's any any specific message that you want to leave the listeners with in closing this conversation, I'll give you the floor and and share anything, and then also how they can find you and how they can work with you.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: No, thank you so much.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: And what I would say is if I were to leave, like, two powerful messages for people is put yourself in the driver's seat of your life.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: You know, really and it takes intentionality because without doing that, Because of the programming that we have received, the default is that the heart the mind doesn't want the heart to be engaged because it's actually getting in the way of the agenda of the mind and the agenda of the matrix.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: So what I would say is to have all of the things that you wanna have in life, you know, relationships, and health, and vitality, creativity, place your heart in the driver's seat of your life.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: And when that happens, now you are in charge.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: And the second message I would say is that wisdom that you're looking for out for out there or that endless seeking for that love outside can only really be experienced inside.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: It's inside you.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: It starts there.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: You know, so my message is is that the way of the heart is the way of feeling and being present And that can only happen by the willingness, to be honest, and the willingness to start trusting that deeper wisdom.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Because when you do that, that will create alignment in your life and that will create purpose.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: You're gonna start living on purpose and you're gonna start creating alignment in your life.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: And the third message is, you know, I invite people to get help and support out there because when I meant to walk this path alone.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: That's not how it's meant to be.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: And so, chicken with, you know, are are you surrounded by people that are in the same path, that are in wiring you that are uplifting you.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: And if you're not, then question.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Like, is this for me?
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: You wanna be with a network of people that are on the same journey that wanna walk this path that are also inspiring you.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Because otherwise, it's just like you by yourself you're gonna be dragged back by your patterns and by everybody else's limitations.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Of who you are.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: That's what I would say about to choose, you know, three messages.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: And you can find me at hard q dot com This is the program that my husband Mikkel created.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: His name is Chris Agape, and we as partners came together and created this incredible program and it's really what it means to live the heart conscious way of life.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: And so everything is there.
