I-70 Shutdown Near KC This Weekend | Kansas City News
Don’t miss this: I-70 near KC is shut down both ways this weekend—Friday, July 31 through Monday, Aug 3—between 23rd St and the US-40/31 interchange for vital Cleveland Ave bridge repairs. Expect lane and ramp closures starting Friday as crews prep for major girder work. This is part of the long-term Improve I-70 KC project, which began in spring 2025 and wraps in Dec 2028.
