- 0:05Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello, Big Blue Nation, Welcome to Just the Cats. My
- 0:15Speaker 2: name is Michael Benning on this Thursday, May fourteenth. I
- 0:19Speaker 2: hope everybody's having a great day so far. If you
- 0:21Speaker 2: want to give this a call, you can do it
- 0:22Speaker 2: at five O two three eight four fourteen fifty, or
- 0:25Speaker 2: you can text us on the Whiskey Thief text on
- 0:27Speaker 2: at five O two four one four fourteen fifty, or
- 0:29Speaker 2: you can tweek me at Just the Cat Radio as
- 0:32Speaker 2: Justin Kalin is over there scratching his nose right now,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but hopefully he's okay. Allergies getting to you, by the way,
- 0:39Speaker 2: So I yes you too quick question. Yeah, yes, I
- 0:44Speaker 2: mean I'm not making fun of you.
- 0:46Speaker 3: The amount of snot that has come out of my
- 0:48Speaker 3: body today has been insane.
- 0:50Speaker 2: But no, honestly, honestly, no, my nose kind of hurts.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Oh it does by almost like I hit it on
- 0:56Speaker 2: something or like I don't know it hurt. It's hurting. Really,
- 1:00Speaker 2: I don't really know what's going on. Maybe Gill hitch
- 1:02Speaker 2: you in the middle of the night because you wouldn't
- 1:04Speaker 2: because he was upset that you would not call him
- 1:07Speaker 2: in the middle of day because he wanted to get
- 1:08Speaker 2: on the radio with me.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I did tell him that story yesterday and and he
- 1:12Speaker 3: did confirm that, yes, he cannot talk of the phone
- 1:14Speaker 3: while he.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well, he needs to talk on the phone, Get over it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: He's the headman. But no, I listen. The allergies right
- 1:24Speaker 2: now are through the roof. I remember sitting at dinner
- 1:27Speaker 2: night before last. My wife is like, why are your
- 1:30Speaker 2: eyes so red? I'm like, I've been smoking pot outside.
- 1:33Speaker 2: What do you think it's the allergies. It made me
- 1:37Speaker 2: feel like does she think I'm smoking or something? But
- 1:41Speaker 2: I mean they were so red and itchy. I couldn't
- 1:44Speaker 2: stop it. I finally went and took my contacts out
- 1:48Speaker 2: and put some saline in my eyes, and then I
- 1:50Speaker 2: started getting a little relief there. But it's just crazy
- 1:54Speaker 2: how bad it is right now.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I'm just I'm at the point where it's like, is
- 1:58Speaker 3: this gonna be my reality for the rest of my life?
- 2:01Speaker 3: Am I gonna have allergies all year round for the
- 2:04Speaker 3: rest of my life?
- 2:05Speaker 2: Because it sucks? Hopefully not mine have simmered down. When
- 2:08Speaker 2: I was a kid, my allergies were a thousand times worse.
- 2:11Speaker 3: See, I didn't get them until I was thirty. Oh really,
- 2:13Speaker 3: when I was about thirty thirty one is when I
- 2:15Speaker 3: first got allergies. Yeah, last five years or so, it
- 2:18Speaker 3: has been brutal.
- 2:19Speaker 2: No, my allergies are not as bad as they used to.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I used to get ear infections all the time.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Uh.
- 2:27Speaker 2: My parents had to get go to the doctor and
- 2:29Speaker 2: get tubes put in my ears. At one point that
- 2:31Speaker 2: didn't I had five different times I had tubes put
- 2:35Speaker 2: in my ears because I had so many ear infections
- 2:37Speaker 2: and just couldn't get the fluid out of my ear.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And uh, but I've grown a lot out of most
- 2:43Speaker 2: of it now. My nose still itches, my eye, my
- 2:47Speaker 2: eyes will itch, but not near I. Before I would
- 2:51Speaker 2: be congested, i'd get a sinus infection. It was miserable.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But anyway, it's it's it's a lot better now, So
- 2:57Speaker 2: thank goodness. I'm I'm happy for that. But you know,
- 3:00Speaker 2: I walk in here this morning and I wanted to
- 3:04Speaker 2: hear the rest of the story about a text that
- 3:06Speaker 2: you got that was on my mind. Of course I
- 3:08Speaker 2: got that out of my system on our crosstalk. But
- 3:11Speaker 2: then all over the desk here are cards and I
- 3:18Speaker 2: have I mean multi I put them all together now
- 3:21Speaker 2: multiple ones of something with with Mike Rutherford, and it's
- 3:26Speaker 2: it's a picture. I guess. I haven't seen Mike Rutherford
- 3:28Speaker 2: in a while. I didn't realize he'd gone full blown bald.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Show it to the YouTube? Can okay? So here it is?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Can you see it? Yeah? Okay, so yeah, support Mike Rutherford.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Let's dance and it looks like the a looks like
- 3:44Speaker 2: John Travolta from nineteen eighties Virgin John Travolta that was
- 3:51Speaker 2: Saturday Night Fever. And I'm thinking, there is no way
- 3:56Speaker 2: I would want my picture on a card and then
- 3:59Speaker 2: underneath it had dance. So I'm curious. Do you even
- 4:03Speaker 2: have a guess what's going on here? I'm assuming it's
- 4:07Speaker 2: some sort of quasi celebrity dance off or something, and
- 4:10Speaker 2: he's gonna get out there and go, uh, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 2: full blown Napoleon dynamite. I don't know.
- 4:17Speaker 3: So they do. You're familiar with the show Dancing with
- 4:20Speaker 3: the Stars, dumbest show in the world, so they do
- 4:23Speaker 3: like a local version.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He already lost me. Yeah, that is something I don't care.
- 4:28Speaker 2: If they ever asked me, I am never doing it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: You wouldn't do it.
- 4:30Speaker 3: No, not even close. I mean, I'm not a I'm
- 4:33Speaker 3: not a good dancer. I don't have any desired to.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I'm a good dancer. I'm so good. I'm so bad.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I'm good. Well that's what like this. So if he's
- 4:43Speaker 3: the celebrity that means offense. Is Mike Rutherford a celebrity locally?
- 4:48Speaker 3: I would locally? Really okay, no question, good for him.
- 4:52Speaker 3: But they pair him with somebody who was good at
- 4:55Speaker 3: dancing and who does it professionally. Yes, so they're gonna
- 4:58Speaker 3: guide you through everything and teach you the dance and
- 5:01Speaker 3: what to do and all that.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Really, do I get to pick the person? If I
- 5:04Speaker 2: if I did that? Because you know you were asking
- 5:06Speaker 2: me yesterday, when is the last time you were full
- 5:10Speaker 2: blown out of your mind a little too much alcohol?
- 5:13Speaker 2: That would be the night I would be full blown.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm doing. Just drink after drink
- 5:19Speaker 2: after drink. That's how much alcohols. And you know at
- 5:22Speaker 2: this point you're not going to invite me, and I'm
- 5:24Speaker 2: good with that.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I don't know how they get paired up, to be
- 5:26Speaker 3: honest with you, Yeah, I don't know if the dancer
- 5:28Speaker 3: is like picking the person or if they're putting a
- 5:31Speaker 3: pool of people together or what. But yeah, he's been
- 5:33Speaker 3: so he's been going through practices for a couple of
- 5:37Speaker 3: months now.
- 5:37Speaker 2: He's got a couple of months.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I think it's been over a month now that he's
- 5:41Speaker 3: had to like go to these practices and stuff. Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 3: I don't know seriously, Oh yeah, Oh absolutely he is
- 5:49Speaker 3: credit to Mike rather than wants to win.
- 5:50Speaker 2: He doesn't think. He doesn't think he will, but he
- 5:53Speaker 2: wants to. Yeah, I I listen, I want to go
- 5:56Speaker 2: now and just heckle him. I mean that to me,
- 5:59Speaker 2: that would be fun. Don't you think a dance off
- 6:02Speaker 2: when people are yelling at you, like if you're at
- 6:05Speaker 2: a basketball or football game, don't you think that would
- 6:07Speaker 2: be fun? Yeah? I would be. That's awesome. If I
- 6:10Speaker 2: was out there dancing and people are heckling me the
- 6:12Speaker 2: entire time, I would start laughing. It would make me
- 6:16Speaker 2: so proud, surprised. You wouldn't do it, really, Okay? If
- 6:20Speaker 2: I came to you next year and ask you, you
- 6:21Speaker 2: would just say no, I'm out surprises me. You need
- 6:26Speaker 2: an answer right now. If people came and made fun
- 6:33Speaker 2: of me as I'm doing this, I would probably say yes,
- 6:36Speaker 2: I'd do it. That's the weird part. I don't want
- 6:39Speaker 2: people to think I'm gonna be taking this seriously. I
- 6:42Speaker 2: want to win. I would probably I would look at
- 6:46Speaker 2: this and think, Okay, if I had a bunch of
- 6:50Speaker 2: my buddies just come and just yell at me the
- 6:52Speaker 2: entire time, I would do it. But I would be
- 6:55Speaker 2: nervous that my wife would be uncomfortable that I have
- 6:58Speaker 2: my arms around another lady. Oh come on, stop really,
- 7:02Speaker 2: Oh it's just you're just dancing. Sure, did you ever
- 7:05Speaker 2: hear of dirty dancing? Yeah, but you're not dirty. I
- 7:09Speaker 2: do you know that? We don't know. She might get
- 7:11Speaker 2: out there and say, oh, Michael, you're good looking. I
- 7:13Speaker 2: want to do a little dirty dancing. And then what
- 7:15Speaker 2: do I say that? I think you get to pick
- 7:17Speaker 2: your dance style. Oh I do. I'm then at that point,
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm picking dirty dancing.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I would assume you and your partner together would make
- 7:25Speaker 3: the decision on what type of dance you want to do.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's dirty, that's all it is. Well, then you are
- 7:29Speaker 2: going to piss off exactly, and you know what, that's
- 7:32Speaker 2: what she gets for saying her name is Patricia Bodachelli.
- 7:35Speaker 2: So I'm still not going to get over there, by
- 7:38Speaker 2: the way.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Hold on before you give your by the way, yes,
- 7:41Speaker 3: Buttachelli sounds like it should be a game, right, like
- 7:44Speaker 3: a like a yard game of some sort.
- 7:46Speaker 2: That's a great point to me. It sounds like a
- 7:49Speaker 2: Mexican dish, because you know, I'd like a bull of
- 7:52Speaker 2: your bodychelly. I mean that's what it's botta chili. I
- 7:56Speaker 2: mean that's what it sounds like. I mean, you got
- 8:00Speaker 2: any free does for that. I'd like some cheese on top.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I think that is the next best menu item at
- 8:08Speaker 2: the Cincinnati Chili Place. It'd be better than what they got. Now, Oh,
- 8:12Speaker 2: come on, it would not. I love it. I would
- 8:15Speaker 2: love a bottle of your best bot of chili. I
- 8:18Speaker 2: mean a little spicy on it. This would be great,
- 8:21Speaker 2: Little Hollapeno. I now want to go have some chili
- 8:25Speaker 2: for lunch today. It's way too hot for oh soo,
- 8:28Speaker 2: you are only a not eating chili in the middle
- 8:32Speaker 2: of summer. No really, I am.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I mean right, if I could have it right now
- 8:36Speaker 3: and it's like fifty degrees, that'd be great. Yeah, but
- 8:39Speaker 3: it's gonna be in the seventies today. Not have a chili.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Okay, all right? Is that the only thing that you'll
- 8:45Speaker 2: eat in season? Soup?
- 8:48Speaker 3: I'm the same with soup, Are you really? I eat
- 8:51Speaker 3: soup all year long. Oh, I can't do it.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I go to Panera and I think they have some
- 8:56Speaker 2: of the best soup. They have some of the best bread.
- 8:58Speaker 2: You know, I don't care for bread, but I love
- 9:00Speaker 2: They're backetts. They are fantastic. And I go there soup,
- 9:05Speaker 2: a little of their tea, and boom, I'm Michael Bennet's happy. Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 2: that's all matters. I love that. But yeah, I have
- 9:11Speaker 2: got to go talk to what I can't even think of,
- 9:14Speaker 2: the chili place called what's it called?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Uh?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Skyline? Skyline, that's it. I'm going to call the owners
- 9:21Speaker 2: of Skyline and say, we need to get this on
- 9:24Speaker 2: the menu. You don't think so I would need it,
- 9:27Speaker 2: You would not eat it. Why we need to trust
- 9:29Speaker 2: somebody else that's better. I do have a question. I noticed,
- 9:33Speaker 2: are you answering some of these texts on the text
- 9:35Speaker 2: line because they're coming up start your transformation today?
- 9:38Speaker 3: So the text line automatically sends that out. Not every
- 9:43Speaker 3: time you send a text, but a good chunk of
- 9:46Speaker 3: the time you send text in, but we've never been
- 9:48Speaker 3: able to see that, so I don't know.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I don't like that they don't advertise on my show.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Well no, I don't like it either, because it messes
- 9:55Speaker 3: you up on which text you need to read.
- 9:57Speaker 2: It's the Whiskey Thief text line for this show. And
- 10:00Speaker 2: now all of a sudden, I'm seeing transformation on whiskey Thief.
- 10:03Speaker 3: They send it over to him. I need to get
- 10:07Speaker 3: a little more money. We can incorporate them.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I get a little I could get in trouble
- 10:12Speaker 2: for this, but you know, my transformation needs to be
- 10:15Speaker 2: a little bit of whiskey Thief in the morning. Okay.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I just want you to know that. I've got to
- 10:19Speaker 2: now talk to them and say, Okay, why are we
- 10:21Speaker 2: getting transformation not whiskey Thief. I don't disagree, Okay, all right, then,
- 10:27Speaker 2: well I'm telling start your transformation with drinking whiskey Thief
- 10:32Speaker 2: this early in the morning. Okay, that's all you need
- 10:33Speaker 2: to do. That's what Michael Bennett did today. Well, I
- 10:37Speaker 2: did that one time on a show because I couldn't
- 10:39Speaker 2: pronounce names, and by the end of the show, I
- 10:41Speaker 2: really couldn't pronounce anything, So forget about names. Uh, Jaydon
- 10:44Speaker 2: Quinton's opening up our point, Yeah, I know it. I
- 10:52Speaker 2: did not. Oh my gosh, that's terrible. Jaydeen quit, I
- 10:56Speaker 2: just swell might as well say JQ. Jayde and Quainton's
- 10:58Speaker 2: opened up yesterday with reporting at the Draft combine in Chicago.
- 11:03Speaker 2: What were your thoughts on this? He was talking about
- 11:05Speaker 2: how is knee continued to swell up the more he
- 11:09Speaker 2: ramped up his play. At the end of the day,
- 11:12Speaker 2: he claims he wanted to play, Hey, look at this,
- 11:16Speaker 2: justin before you say anything, Look at this. You can
- 11:19Speaker 2: either believe them or you don't believe them. Yeah, it's
- 11:24Speaker 2: just there's no win between here. And you either look
- 11:28Speaker 2: at him say okay, yeah he's telling the truth or
- 11:30Speaker 2: he's just outright line. He should have played the Kentucky
- 11:32Speaker 2: and somebody shut it down because they were trying to
- 11:34Speaker 2: see him. I tend to go to the fact that
- 11:38Speaker 2: I believe him. And here's why, Because don't you think
- 11:42Speaker 2: if this wasn't the truth, that NBA teams would be
- 11:49Speaker 2: looking at him and say, well, that's going to hurt
- 11:50Speaker 2: your draft stock. Therefore I don't want you on my team.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And the fact that he kind of continues to say, yeah,
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm ninety ready. I mean, that's risky you mentioned on
- 12:04Speaker 2: your show. It's the same thing I was thinking the
- 12:07Speaker 2: entire time since I read the article and saw him
- 12:10Speaker 2: being interviewed. I mean, if I owned a team, I'm
- 12:14Speaker 2: telling my GM and who's ever in charge of bringing
- 12:17Speaker 2: players on the team, We're we're not going after Jadan
- 12:20Speaker 2: and Quainton's because I don't want that risk of spending
- 12:24Speaker 2: all this money. And this is not a knock on
- 12:26Speaker 2: Jaydan quaints this is the reality of it. I don't
- 12:30Speaker 2: want to risk, you know, UK risk bringing him in,
- 12:33Speaker 2: spent what couple of million dollars on him, and you
- 12:35Speaker 2: got four games out of him? If that now, granted
- 12:40Speaker 2: the Saint John's game, he was a great portion of
- 12:44Speaker 2: the reason UK won that game against Saint John's. But
- 12:48Speaker 2: it's just too much of a risk for me to say,
- 12:51Speaker 2: let's go after Jaden Quaintons. He's going to be a
- 12:53Speaker 2: great asset. No, he's I'm not certain of that yet.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I think we need to see him play at least
- 12:59Speaker 2: a full year before I would even consider giving him
- 13:03Speaker 2: a bunch of money. I mean, JQ is definitely gonna
- 13:07Speaker 2: get drafted based on potential, like more so than anybody
- 13:11Speaker 2: else I can remember in recent history, because you don't know, like, yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 2: you got to see him at Arizona State for a
- 13:18Speaker 2: good chunk of that season, but like you said, you
- 13:21Speaker 2: didn't see him at Kentucky. So it's like, what can
- 13:24Speaker 2: this kid do? He's going through the workouts and all that,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I assume, right, Yes, So.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm with you. I believe him. The
- 13:32Speaker 3: kid's a basketball player. It's what he's done his whole life.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I believe that he wanted to play. But it's like
- 13:38Speaker 3: Jamie said on when he texted into my show this morning, saying,
- 13:42Speaker 3: you want to play while you're sitting out, Just it
- 13:44Speaker 3: doesn't make sense. And it is like saying I want
- 13:47Speaker 3: to lose weight and eating cheesecakes gonna help me do that.
- 13:50Speaker 2: That's just not the key.
- 13:51Speaker 3: So I get it he physically probably couldn't play and
- 13:56Speaker 3: wanted to play, but you just you don't know what
- 13:59Speaker 3: you're getting with him. So yeah, if I'm in NBA exec,
- 14:02Speaker 3: I'm staying away well with that.
- 14:04Speaker 2: With that, great play comes great risk, sure, and I
- 14:07Speaker 2: think the risk outweighs the play at this point. Now,
- 14:11Speaker 2: that's not saying a couple of years down the road
- 14:14Speaker 2: that hey, man, I'll put a big price on you.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I'll have you come over and get you on our team.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But right now I just wouldn't.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Well now if you're so, here's the situation that he
- 14:24Speaker 3: needs to land in. He needs to go to a
- 14:27Speaker 3: team that has an aging big, a big that's got
- 14:31Speaker 3: I don't know, a year or two left left in
- 14:34Speaker 3: the league, like a I don't know. I don't want
- 14:36Speaker 3: to claim that Anthony Davis only has a year or
- 14:38Speaker 3: two left. But like Lebron James, No, Lebron's done now,
- 14:42Speaker 3: but a backup to a d would be great, Like
- 14:44Speaker 3: it'll you don't have to play a ton of minutes.
- 14:47Speaker 3: You're just gonna get spot minutes, and you're gonna be
- 14:49Speaker 3: able to find a way to integrate yourself with these teams.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And then once that big steps away, bam, it's you.
- 14:56Speaker 3: You're you're our guy, big dog, And hopefully by that juncture,
- 14:59Speaker 3: he could be completely healthy and you can trust that
- 15:01Speaker 3: you could put him out on the floor and he's
- 15:03Speaker 3: gonna be all good.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but you don't even know if you're gonna get
- 15:07Speaker 2: there again. I just let somebody else take that risk.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Before I take that kind of risk, because if he
- 15:13Speaker 2: goes in the first round, you're gonna own a bunch
- 15:15Speaker 2: of money. And I'm surprised they still have him in
- 15:18Speaker 2: the first round. I really am. And again this is
- 15:22Speaker 2: I'm not Michael Bennett is not trying to knock Jade
- 15:24Speaker 2: and Quaintance. I want him to succeed. Watching that interview yesterday,
- 15:28Speaker 2: I made the decision because I questioned it whether or
- 15:31Speaker 2: not he was being sincere about his injury. Watching him
- 15:34Speaker 2: in being interviewed, I felt like there was sincerity in
- 15:37Speaker 2: the interview, and I'm to a point now I would
- 15:41Speaker 2: like to believe what he was saying because I know
- 15:43Speaker 2: there's a number of UK fans that are upset, rightfully so,
- 15:47Speaker 2: because he took a bunch of money and kept it
- 15:50Speaker 2: and he only got four games. So I get that.
- 15:56Speaker 2: But you know, if you want to get mad, anybody
- 15:59Speaker 2: get mad at the peron and that brought him in.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That's Mark Pope. Mark Pope took the risk. It blew
- 16:04Speaker 2: up in his face and hopefully we don't do that again.
- 16:08Speaker 3: At least in the jqu situation, you had physical evidence
- 16:11Speaker 3: that this kid really is hurt. I mean, if the
- 16:14Speaker 3: knee really was swollen. You could tell. So it's not
- 16:18Speaker 3: like it was the MIKEL. Brown situation where he's just
- 16:20Speaker 3: I've got a back injury.
- 16:22Speaker 2: It's not right.
- 16:23Speaker 3: It wasn't something that you can't see, right, Like Louisville
- 16:26Speaker 3: fans just had to believe Michael Brown Jr. Right, Kentucky
- 16:29Speaker 3: fans were in a similar spot. But at least there
- 16:31Speaker 3: was that physical was Oh there was swelling knees, yeah,
- 16:34Speaker 3: all the time. So I mean he did PRP did
- 16:37Speaker 3: every kind of thing he could to get that swelling
- 16:39Speaker 3: to get in checked so he can get out there
- 16:41Speaker 3: and play. So I just I'm going to choose to
- 16:45Speaker 3: believe him, and it just unfortunately it didn't work out. Also,
- 16:49Speaker 3: you have to almost at this point, you kind of
- 16:51Speaker 3: have to throw out the injury and just go back
- 16:54Speaker 3: to the basics and look at what this kid was
- 16:57Speaker 3: coming out of high school. I mean, he was the
- 16:58Speaker 3: number one recruit in the country, like, had all this hype.
- 17:02Speaker 3: So at some point, I think you have to go
- 17:04Speaker 3: back to the basics and realize, hey, this kid could
- 17:07Speaker 3: be really really special if we can get past all
- 17:10Speaker 3: these injuries.
- 17:11Speaker 2: If I exactly I get if I'm not doing that
- 17:14Speaker 2: I'm not risking that. You know, you let Mark Pope
- 17:17Speaker 2: risk it it it didn't work out. So I'm not
- 17:19Speaker 2: going to be the first coach of the NBA that
- 17:21Speaker 2: wants to risk bringing him on my team. I'm just
- 17:24Speaker 2: that's where I'm surprised. It'll be interesting to see if
- 17:28Speaker 2: it really does happen, and if it does, good for them,
- 17:33Speaker 2: good for Jadan Quaintance, and good for that team, and
- 17:36Speaker 2: I'll be rooting for Jade and Quaintans. I'm just gonna
- 17:39Speaker 2: sit here and choose to believe that was the problem.
- 17:42Speaker 2: So it just I hope that Mark Pope doesn't take
- 17:45Speaker 2: that risk again. That was just too big of a
- 17:48Speaker 2: risk and it didn't It didn't pan out. So what
- 17:51Speaker 2: you think Mark Pope would take that risk again? Probably not,
- 17:55Speaker 2: at least I would hope not exactly. I hope not.
- 17:59Speaker 2: But anyway, we got take our first break. If you
- 18:01Speaker 2: want to call in five o two three eight four
- 18:03Speaker 2: fourteen fifty. If you want to text in on the
- 18:05Speaker 2: Whiskey Thie text line, you can do it five oh
- 18:07Speaker 2: two four one four fourteen fifty. Even though you're getting
- 18:10Speaker 2: your start your transformation, I mean, I don't want you
- 18:12Speaker 2: to start your transformation, start your transformation of drinking whiskey thief.
- 18:16Speaker 2: That's what I want. So we're gonna take a break.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Stay right. There a lot more of just the cats
- 18:20Speaker 2: coming up. Game.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I love and love and love it.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Oh so good. I gotta gott ahead. I can't find
- 19:08Speaker 1: the words.
- 19:15Speaker 2: No, I love this song. I just want to know.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I love this song. This gets me going in the daytime.
- 19:24Speaker 2: It's a fun one. Yeah, that's it. It's a fun one.
- 19:28Speaker 2: You don't really care for it, that's what you're saying it.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Just be nice. I literally told you what I think
- 19:32Speaker 2: about it. It's a fun one. You know, Well, somebody
- 19:35Speaker 2: says it in that kind of tone. They don't really,
- 19:37Speaker 2: it's not You must be no wonder.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Patricia said, bot it, Chillie, you are the hardest guy
- 19:42Speaker 3: I satisfy give give you a compliment.
- 19:45Speaker 2: You're probably like, oh, that's it exactly very much so.
- 19:49Speaker 2: But you don't love me anymore, do you? Anyway? Uh?
- 19:57Speaker 2: Josh texted out five two four fifty. The brisket chili
- 20:01Speaker 2: at World of Beer and Merle's Whiskey Kitchen or or
- 20:06Speaker 2: whatever it is now is amazing at any time of year.
- 20:11Speaker 2: What's Merle's whiskey Kitchen? Ever heard of it? I've never
- 20:14Speaker 2: heard of that either. Now I need to know where
- 20:17Speaker 2: Merle's Whiskey Kitchen is. Somebody tell me Josh is this
- 20:22Speaker 2: close by here in Louisville. But uh yeah, and then
- 20:26Speaker 2: thank you start your transformation today. This is getting frustrating
- 20:30Speaker 2: to me. Okay, I want you to know. We won't
- 20:34Speaker 2: call Dugan on the phone. No, we're not gonna do
- 20:36Speaker 2: that in the middle of show. There's nothing we could
- 20:38Speaker 2: do about it. Yeah, really, there's nothing we can do
- 20:41Speaker 2: about it. Not right now. No, Well, it's going to
- 20:43Speaker 2: frustrate me the entire show. Uh but prepare myself mentally
- 20:48Speaker 2: it well, you know what. I can't prepare myself mentally.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's throwing me off completely. I haven't gotten the transformation
- 20:55Speaker 2: text at all this morning. Well, good buzz, consider yourself
- 21:00Speaker 2: lucky for some reason, they're coming into everybody else. He
- 21:03Speaker 2: hasn't gotten it this morning. That's weird. I have a
- 21:06Speaker 2: cousin who teaches dance in the Indianapolis area. He has
- 21:09Speaker 2: been the pro. He has been the pro in quite
- 21:13Speaker 2: a few of the local indie versions of Dancing with
- 21:16Speaker 2: the Stars. That's fun. I people consider themselves pro dancers.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah really, yeah, okay, I never knew that all.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Think of all the sports teams across the country that
- 21:30Speaker 3: have dancers, they're professional dancers.
- 21:32Speaker 2: So I mean, I look at that and I think,
- 21:35Speaker 2: you know, they're one step away from dancing for dollar bills.
- 21:38Speaker 2: So I don't know, is that is that? That might
- 21:41Speaker 2: be really hard? Yeah, I didn't mean it that well, my.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Buddies in college. He actually married a cults dancer and
- 21:47Speaker 3: she also danced for the pacers.
- 21:49Speaker 2: A cult dancer. What kind of a cult is she
- 21:52Speaker 2: in the Indianapolis cults? Oh yeah, that is a cult.
- 21:56Speaker 2: But yeah, well, yeh good for him. I mean, is
- 21:59Speaker 2: she pretty? She's very pretty good.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Yeah, okay. I think she was Russian really, and he's
- 22:05Speaker 3: he was Mexican, So it was always a weird combo.
- 22:08Speaker 3: But they're still married. They get along great. Really, Yah,
- 22:11Speaker 3: that is a weird. I'd love to see the pictures
- 22:13Speaker 3: of their kids. They don't have any yet. I wish
- 22:15Speaker 3: they would really. Yeah, Russian and Mexican. Interesting, It was
- 22:20Speaker 3: always weird. Yeah, my dad always referred to people as something.
- 22:24Speaker 3: You can't say it anymore, but but our one of
- 22:27Speaker 3: my best friends is half Chinese, Okay, and then his
- 22:30Speaker 3: dad was full blooded Chinese, Okay, and his mom was
- 22:34Speaker 3: from Western Kentucky. Dad was always referred to mister Awe
- 22:38Speaker 3: as a Chinaman.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You can't say that anymore, you know. And it wasn't
- 22:44Speaker 2: a knock. It's just the how they described him wasn't
- 22:47Speaker 2: a cut at all. But I always got a kick
- 22:49Speaker 2: out of that. John here, Michael and Justin, thanks for
- 22:53Speaker 2: always putting on a great show. Brings a smile to
- 22:56Speaker 2: my face and fun to my ears. But hey, good
- 22:58Speaker 2: things are coming for Kent Hockey basketball and coach Pope.
- 23:02Speaker 2: That is all I will say about that, all right,
- 23:06Speaker 2: all right, so I appreciate that. How are we feeling
- 23:10Speaker 2: about Malachi de Decay because I feel like we're now
- 23:13Speaker 2: on Malachi moreno watch with what a little over a
- 23:19Speaker 2: week away before we find out the twenty seventh no
- 23:23Speaker 2: all two weeks. Yeah, it's just a little under two
- 23:25Speaker 2: weeks before we hear twenty seventh is a final day.
- 23:29Speaker 2: People are going back and forth. I feel pretty confident
- 23:33Speaker 2: he's coming back. I just feel like and just because
- 23:38Speaker 2: you know, we had a little debate yesterday about why
- 23:42Speaker 2: he's not playing in the weekend scrimmages. According to Malachai,
- 23:47Speaker 2: his brother who is very influential in his life, which
- 23:52Speaker 2: I love, and his agent Malachi's agent have both said,
- 23:56Speaker 2: you've done enough. You don't really need to play anymore.
- 23:59Speaker 2: To me, that it's just an indication you have done enough.
- 24:02Speaker 2: All the teams have seen, you're getting evaluations, you're getting
- 24:05Speaker 2: what you need to know about what you need to
- 24:08Speaker 2: improve in your game. I don't think he'll now there
- 24:11Speaker 2: are a couple outlets that have put him back into
- 24:14Speaker 2: the first round. I just don't think it's gonna happen.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I mean, I feel fairly confident he'll come back to UK.
- 24:23Speaker 2: How are you feeling after the interviews from yesterday? So
- 24:28Speaker 2: I'm still very much up in the air.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I don't know. I can't make sense of which way
- 24:34Speaker 3: to lean in this scenario because him not participating, that
- 24:39Speaker 3: could be one of those things where he's got a
- 24:41Speaker 3: guarantee first round pick. And if if your goal is
- 24:44Speaker 3: to get to the NBA eventually, is it a guarantee
- 24:48Speaker 3: that you're gonna get another first round guarantee? Not really no,
- 24:51Speaker 3: I mean you could come back to Kentucky and have
- 24:55Speaker 3: a JQ situation and next thing, you know, your whole
- 24:57Speaker 3: career is thrown off by injury. So I don't I honestly,
- 25:01Speaker 3: I'm probably fifty five forty five right now that he
- 25:04Speaker 3: stays in.
- 25:05Speaker 2: But even if he's a late first rounder, don't you
- 25:08Speaker 2: think it's a good idea to come back, make really
- 25:10Speaker 2: good money at UK and then become a lottery pick,
- 25:14Speaker 2: Because that's kind of how I foresee it. I I,
- 25:17Speaker 2: first of all, I don't think he's going to be
- 25:18Speaker 2: a first round pick. If I'm completely honest, I don't
- 25:21Speaker 2: think he's going to be. To me, come back to
- 25:23Speaker 2: the UK. This is not selfish, Michael Bennett, I promise you.
- 25:27Speaker 2: But if Malachi was my son, I'd say, listen, you've
- 25:31Speaker 2: gotten everything you need. You know what you need to
- 25:33Speaker 2: work on, come back to UK and let's get you
- 25:38Speaker 2: having a great year, and then on top of it,
- 25:41Speaker 2: want you and do all the improvements that all the
- 25:43Speaker 2: scouts have told you to work on. Then guess what
- 25:46Speaker 2: you have the potential being a lottery pick. Now you're
- 25:49Speaker 2: talking about generational money, you're talking about really good money.
- 25:53Speaker 2: But Dad, what if I get hurt? You Well, that's
- 25:56Speaker 2: what insurance is for, so you ensure yourself.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Yeah, but then I could maybe get to the point
- 26:01Speaker 3: where I'm never getting to live out my dream and
- 26:03Speaker 3: play in the NBA.
- 26:04Speaker 2: True, But I just feel like, if you're going to
- 26:07Speaker 2: be a second round pick, no, you're gonna be the
- 26:09Speaker 2: last pick in the first round, which I don't really
- 26:11Speaker 2: see happening. I'm just like, nah, don't do it. I mean,
- 26:16Speaker 2: I'm I'm with you.
- 26:17Speaker 3: I think the better move for him would be come
- 26:20Speaker 3: to come back, and not only because that would help
- 26:23Speaker 3: Kentucky and he's gonna be a big focal point of
- 26:25Speaker 3: this team. But it you're right in saying that, I
- 26:30Speaker 3: don't know if that he could get into the lottery,
- 26:32Speaker 3: but he would be a much higher pick.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But I don't know. Oh, I wouldn't say I don't
- 26:37Speaker 2: know if he can get into the lottery. I think
- 26:38Speaker 2: he definitely can.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Next year's draft is a lot weaker. So yeah, there's
- 26:42Speaker 3: bad advantage exactly. I don't know, man, I just I
- 26:46Speaker 3: can't get off the whole injury thing if it.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I mean, I get it. It is a risky thing
- 26:51Speaker 2: and you can't get insured. But but you're right, the
- 26:55Speaker 2: dream would not live out. But you can't live your
- 26:58Speaker 2: life thinking about injury. What you just can't What else
- 27:01Speaker 2: is a seven foot are supposed to do with life? Well?
- 27:05Speaker 2: Are there other jobs out there for them? I mean,
- 27:08Speaker 2: you know a guy by the name of Wu orbs
- 27:12Speaker 2: Oot who casts out there really successful, doing really well.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That's true. That's so I don't say what else is
- 27:19Speaker 2: there for a seven But what else is there a
- 27:21Speaker 2: five foot three guy to do radio? Come on? Explore caves?
- 27:27Speaker 2: That was what? Explore cave? Where did that come from?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, keep drinking fireball, You're not going to
- 27:36Speaker 2: be tiny.
- 27:37Speaker 3: All I know is if me and Wu walk through
- 27:38Speaker 3: a cave, he's walking out with a sore back.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I'm not no, but scratches the long your stomach. One
- 27:46Speaker 2: person said, Michael, if you believe Shadon Quinton's, then I
- 27:49Speaker 2: have some ocean front property in Arizona. Thank you. Who
- 27:53Speaker 2: sings that song? George Strait, that's his name. That's a
- 27:56Speaker 2: good song. By the way, I would love to sell
- 27:59Speaker 2: you from my front porch. You can see to say, Okay,
- 28:02Speaker 2: I think he's quoting the song, isn't he? Yeah? Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 2: So clearly this guy does not believe Jayden Shade. Oh
- 28:09Speaker 2: Shaden quaints, I didn't even get that one. Yeah, Shade, Shade, Yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 2: Jade and Quinton's quaintance, Oh, Quintin's I didn't catch that either.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm messing this whole joke up. I'm so sorry. If
- 28:22Speaker 2: you believe Shadeen Quittins, yeah, okay, Well do you believe
- 28:29Speaker 2: the guy? Yeah? I told you I did, all right?
- 28:32Speaker 2: Would you risk bringing him on your team? I don't
- 28:35Speaker 2: think you answered that. I would not. Yeah, neither would I.
- 28:39Speaker 2: So I just I would like to see did he
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't think he had any eligibility left either? Did he?
- 28:47Speaker 2: I don't remember that? Thank you? Yeah?
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, he would have had two years we're the heck,
- 28:51Speaker 3: three years with the way this year went.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, would it have been better for him to come
- 28:58Speaker 2: back and play one more year and we're going first round?
- 29:01Speaker 3: We had that debate. But yeah, I mean, if you're
- 29:03Speaker 3: guaranteed a top fifteen pick or so, you go.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Oh this is a new name. Jolie, uh Man, did
- 29:11Speaker 2: you listen to your song? Uh? You don't get that
- 29:14Speaker 2: to you? Imagine being a female Texter that gets a
- 29:18Speaker 2: message back about that every time they text in. That
- 29:24Speaker 2: is the text of the year, Jolie. I just want
- 29:28Speaker 2: you to know. Thank you for that. I am going
- 29:31Speaker 2: to be dining on this for years. That is awesome, Jolie.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Thank you. Here, I'm making a joke about your uh,
- 29:38Speaker 2: your name, which you just make a joke about the
- 29:41Speaker 2: text line. That is fantastic. I love it. What's the
- 29:45Speaker 2: what's the thing that women need more of? Estrogen? Estrogen? Yes,
- 29:49Speaker 2: so all right, let's that is here. I should text
- 29:52Speaker 2: her back and talk about low estriten Jolie. I'd like
- 29:56Speaker 2: to know if you're married. Okay, she's from Wisconsin. On
- 29:58Speaker 2: top of it, I love that you did this, Joe Lee.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I need you to call in and talk to me.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Bavo two three A four fourteen fifty. I want to
- 30:05Speaker 2: talk to you because you make me laugh. Good text. Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 2: that that's the best one I have ever seen on
- 30:11Speaker 2: this show. Right there, before we take a break, I'll
- 30:14Speaker 2: get one a couple of more. Uh, Josh texted, Uh,
- 30:19Speaker 2: Merles is a Caddy is like Caddy according to the
- 30:23Speaker 2: KFC Bump Center. Oh okay, Merles, I've never heard of it.
- 30:31Speaker 2: I might have to go there. I wonder if that's
- 30:34Speaker 2: the one that used to be the pizza place. I
- 30:38Speaker 2: don't think so, it's not if it's a caddy corner. Oh,
- 30:41Speaker 2: I bet it's okay. I'd like to try that one.
- 30:46Speaker 2: See forty eight, Handily said, seems like, uh, it is
- 30:49Speaker 2: a whiskey day on here. Whiskey a Go Go was
- 30:52Speaker 2: a famous club in LA back in the day. Johnny
- 30:56Speaker 2: Rivers recorded a live album there. I didn't know that.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I don't know Johnny Rivers. Johnny Rivers, he's an old singer.
- 31:03Speaker 2: That's I couldn't name a song, but I know who
- 31:05Speaker 2: he is.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Uh.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah. There was another famous place called the Troubadour as well,
- 31:10Speaker 2: which I know there wasn't there a Troubadour here in Louisville.
- 31:13Speaker 2: But I watched a interview last night of Don Henley.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Please tell me you know who Don Henley? Okay, good
- 31:22Speaker 2: lead singer of the Eagles and drummer, and it was
- 31:26Speaker 2: a great interview. They did it at the Troubadour, which
- 31:29Speaker 2: I thought was pretty cool. He's sang Dirty Laundry. He
- 31:31Speaker 2: did yeah as a single for himself on his solo
- 31:36Speaker 2: But he's saying, uh, probably one of their most favorite
- 31:41Speaker 2: Hotel California, and he would be playing drums at the
- 31:45Speaker 2: same time. I mean, that's crazy. How guys to me,
- 31:48Speaker 2: it's got to be the hardest thing to play drums
- 31:51Speaker 2: and sing at the same time. You know, the only
- 31:53Speaker 2: two people I can think of that do that successfully
- 31:56Speaker 2: are Don Henley and come on, you can the other one? Justin, Caleb,
- 32:02Speaker 2: what I could do? You played drums?
- 32:05Speaker 3: No, but I could? Okay, whatever bad bad proper teaching.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I could sing and play drums the same time.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Who's the other famous drummer out there that sings? I
- 32:15Speaker 2: don't know, Phil oh Collins. Yes, you didn't know Phil
- 32:19Speaker 2: Collins played drums. I mean I don't.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Michael, At what point do you realize that I don't
- 32:24Speaker 3: know nearly as much about bands and the structure of.
- 32:27Speaker 2: This Okay, I'm sorry.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I could sing ten thousand songs, but I don't know
- 32:31Speaker 3: how the how the family structure works.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Within the band. Okay, all right, all right, no problem,
- 32:36Speaker 2: I I get it. I'm sorry you don't know the
- 32:38Speaker 2: structure of the band. I don't know why you had
- 32:40Speaker 2: to say structure, but just say it was a weird
- 32:43Speaker 2: way to put it. That was a weird way to
- 32:45Speaker 2: put it. It's like, are you well, you are of
- 32:46Speaker 2: the son of a deck builder, so what do you
- 32:49Speaker 2: expect you It's all about construction, because constraction. Come on,
- 32:53Speaker 2: thank you, I got you. Wow, I'm with you. Are
- 32:55Speaker 2: You were slow yesterday and you're slow today again. What's
- 32:58Speaker 2: wrong with you? I'm frustrated with you today. You wouldn't
- 33:01Speaker 2: finish that text. I just want you to know. Uh anyway,
- 33:04Speaker 2: all right, we gotta take a break. Five O two
- 33:06Speaker 2: three four fourteen fifty. You want to call five two
- 33:08Speaker 2: four one four fourteen fifty. If you want to start
- 33:10Speaker 2: your transformation with Whisky Thief, you can do that. So
- 33:13Speaker 2: we'll talk about that though. I'm still waiting on Jolie. Jolie,
- 33:16Speaker 2: I got to meet you. I mean, you made me
- 33:18Speaker 2: laugh so hard today. Have a great day. I'm signing off.
- 33:23Speaker 2: We're up. We got more justic CAATs coming up. Stay
- 33:25Speaker 2: right there. I was saying goodbye. It was weird.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I gotta got ahead. I can't find the word.
- 33:41Speaker 4: No, we have success. Jolie has texted again. I love listen, Jolie.
- 34:07Speaker 4: I think today you correct me if I'm wrong.
- 34:09Speaker 2: But this is the first day you've ever texted in
- 34:11Speaker 2: the show, and I have to say I need you
- 34:14Speaker 2: to text in a lot more because you are truly
- 34:17Speaker 2: making me laugh. She texted in again justin Are you ready,
- 34:20Speaker 2: Jolie said, whiskey thief with a side of Esterton sounds perfect.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Finally something for the ladies. Well done, Jolie. Listen, you
- 34:30Speaker 2: tell me what kind of content you want for the ladies,
- 34:32Speaker 2: and I'll be happy, more than happy to entertain you
- 34:36Speaker 2: as far as that goes. But yeah, that just me.
- 34:39Speaker 2: And she's from Wisconsin. Man, I wonder what kind of
- 34:43Speaker 2: accent she has. You know what freaks me out? One
- 34:46Speaker 2: of my one answer, yeah, exactly, the Piackers. But one
- 34:52Speaker 2: of our good friends is from Michigan. And the crazy
- 34:58Speaker 2: part is her name is Dixie. It's like, how does
- 35:01Speaker 2: somebody from Michigan have a name that is Dixie? How
- 35:06Speaker 2: does this get brought up twice in one week? I've
- 35:08Speaker 2: talked I've talked about twice. Okay, never mind, Sorry, I
- 35:11Speaker 2: think that was Monday. That was my dementia coming out.
- 35:13Speaker 2: So uh anyway, it's natural. Just means you're aging, will
- 35:24Speaker 2: keep going, man, Uh that just whatever you want, Taylor said,
- 35:30Speaker 2: if uh, if I'm an NBA scout, I didn't see
- 35:33Speaker 2: enough as freshman year Kentucky to me, he's very weak.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That's again, that's where I'm so surprised people and that
- 35:41Speaker 2: it's you know, they didn't see him exactly. That's what it.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Taylor's saying, you didn't see him at all. So that's
- 35:47Speaker 2: what I'm trying to say is and I feel like
- 35:50Speaker 2: I'm hating on the young man, and I'm I promise
- 35:52Speaker 2: you I'm not trying to. But I just I haven't
- 35:55Speaker 2: seen enough of Jaden Quaintance Shaden Quintin's uh to say
- 35:59Speaker 2: that he's a first round pick. I mean to me,
- 36:03Speaker 2: he's at best a second round pick. And this is
- 36:07Speaker 2: a diehard UK guy that wants to see every UK
- 36:11Speaker 2: player in the NBA. But I just I don't see
- 36:14Speaker 2: it with him. I'm sorry to say that. I would
- 36:18Speaker 2: love to talk to some of these scouts that are
- 36:22Speaker 2: picking him in the first round and say why. I
- 36:25Speaker 2: think it's a fair question. I tell you who we
- 36:28Speaker 2: should probably have on. We should probably get Kyle Tucker
- 36:31Speaker 2: to come in here. Kyle's really he's level headed about
- 36:34Speaker 2: this stuff. I'll call Kyle the next couple of days.
- 36:37Speaker 2: He's been doing a bunch of interviews with a whole
- 36:39Speaker 2: bunch of people and see if he'll come on for
- 36:41Speaker 2: a few minutes to talk about this whole thing. Oh
- 36:44Speaker 2: he was talking about Moreno. Okay, sorry about that. Uh
- 36:47Speaker 2: So I'm right there with you too. As far as Moreno,
- 36:50Speaker 2: if I'm an NBA scout, I didn't see enough as
- 36:52Speaker 2: freshman year Kentucky. To me, he's very weak. I don't
- 36:55Speaker 2: know if it well with Moreno. Yeah, that's I would
- 37:00Speaker 2: say that's the one part of his game. It didn't
- 37:05Speaker 2: prove over the year, But he is. I wouldn't. I
- 37:08Speaker 2: wouldn't say he's really weak, but I say he is
- 37:11Speaker 2: weak in the middle. That is the one thing he's
- 37:13Speaker 2: got to get upper body strength to be able to
- 37:17Speaker 2: get in there and rebound, because that's you know, you
- 37:19Speaker 2: get to the NBA, those are full grown men. Well yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 2: but they're gonna beat him up.
- 37:23Speaker 3: But in the NBA, the counterpoint to that is they
- 37:26Speaker 3: don't really go inside anymore, like the big man inside
- 37:31Speaker 3: just bullying down low. You haven't seen that in a
- 37:34Speaker 3: very long time. It's not like we're shocked down there anymore,
- 37:37Speaker 3: just banging with bodies and trying to get buckets near
- 37:40Speaker 3: the hoop. I mean, if anybody's getting to the hoop,
- 37:42Speaker 3: it's gonna be the guards and the bigs are expected
- 37:44Speaker 3: to step out and have that mid range game or
- 37:47Speaker 3: that three point game. So that's really what you need
- 37:49Speaker 3: to see more of from Alika.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I heard nothing you said. I mean you sounded like
- 37:53Speaker 2: Charles Barkley there when a guy's banging you know. I mean, yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 2: you did. You said when you got banging body, you
- 37:59Speaker 2: just weren't listen. I didn't, I know what not sound
- 38:02Speaker 2: like Charles Barkley. I did not throw one terrible in there.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Nice imitation to him right there. That's a good one, Michael.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Let's see here. One person said, Michael Moreno can make
- 38:15Speaker 2: more money at Kentucky with rev share and nil deals.
- 38:18Speaker 2: He can get being a Kentucky kid at UK. I'm
- 38:23Speaker 2: right there with you. I think Moreno and that's why
- 38:27Speaker 2: I'm fairly confident. I feel like he comes back to UK,
- 38:30Speaker 2: he will make more money next year at UK than
- 38:33Speaker 2: he will in the NBA. Are you there? Not? Really? Really?
- 38:40Speaker 3: You don't think he can because I mean, if he's interesting,
- 38:43Speaker 3: if he gets drafted in the first round, he's gonna
- 38:45Speaker 3: get I don't know, three four million. He's not getting
- 38:48Speaker 3: out of Kentucky, Okay, not after last year in the
- 38:50Speaker 3: way the roster was.
- 38:52Speaker 2: One person said, the reality for fans now is they
- 38:55Speaker 2: will be skeptical about any injuries until we see the
- 38:59Speaker 2: MRIs or X rays. The university's asked for this and
- 39:02Speaker 2: they got it. That's a fair point. I mean, it's
- 39:06Speaker 2: not gonna happen. We're not going to see the MRIs
- 39:09Speaker 2: or the X rays of these players nor Yeah, but
- 39:13Speaker 2: I mean't not a hip of violation. Oh absolutely it is.
- 39:16Speaker 2: But if the patient says, listen, it's okay, if we
- 39:18Speaker 2: share this, then they're they're good with it.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Uh.
- 39:21Speaker 2: But to me, it all kind of started with Jared Vanderbilt.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Remember Jared Vanderbilt when he was at UK and he
- 39:29Speaker 2: was sitting on the bench for a long time. A
- 39:31Speaker 2: lot of people were questioning whether or not he was
- 39:33Speaker 2: really injured or not. Now you had the whole Michel
- 39:36Speaker 2: Brown thing. You were right about that, and people it's like, well,
- 39:40Speaker 2: you're right. A back injury is hard to identify unless
- 39:44Speaker 2: you do see the the MRI or CT skin or
- 39:50Speaker 2: X rays. But if it's muscular, none of that shows
- 39:53Speaker 2: muscular injuries unless you see this dude walking around downtown
- 39:58Speaker 2: with a cane. Yeah, and even then you still question.
- 40:02Speaker 2: You know, there are a lot of people out there
- 40:03Speaker 2: with insurance fraud and they walk around with the cane
- 40:05Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden they get all this
- 40:07Speaker 2: money and boila, they're they're cured. Well they got all
- 40:11Speaker 2: that money, So anyway, yeah, that's that's famous. But uh,
- 40:17Speaker 2: this guy gets the same thing. Start your transformation. I'm
- 40:19Speaker 2: so sorry for the people that are getting started, jo Lee.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I don't know how to apologize you anymore, because you're right,
- 40:25Speaker 2: women don't deserve to see this kind of a text.
- 40:27Speaker 2: But uh, and I wish you weren't seeing it. Local
- 40:32Speaker 2: johns are John said here again, Michael, there is a
- 40:36Speaker 2: lot of non Kentucky basketball and Coach Pope fans. They
- 40:40Speaker 2: are fans of other teams and just want to see
- 40:42Speaker 2: them go down. Also, what is said is that there
- 40:46Speaker 2: are some of our own Kentucky fans that want the
- 40:49Speaker 2: same thing. You know, these same people will go bananas
- 40:53Speaker 2: of Coach Pope, got moreno and Mom Chillovic. If that happens, then,
- 40:59Speaker 2: in the words of Bart Simpson, eat my shorts, you
- 41:03Speaker 2: freaking haters. That's a great quote right there. Uh there
- 41:07Speaker 2: are I mean, there are a lot of people out
- 41:09Speaker 2: there that have already decided. Mark Pope is not going
- 41:12Speaker 2: to succeed and they want another coach to come in,
- 41:17Speaker 2: and I can I don't. I don't fully support that,
- 41:21Speaker 2: but I can understand. I can be sympathetic towards those fans.
- 41:26Speaker 1: You know.
- 41:26Speaker 2: It's just, uh, you had the last few years of
- 41:30Speaker 2: the last coach, and then you had, you know, Mark
- 41:32Speaker 2: Pope come in with exciting news, a citing speech at
- 41:35Speaker 2: his acceptance speech at Reparina. We had a reasonably good
- 41:40Speaker 2: for a season, and then a really disappointing second second season.
- 41:44Speaker 2: So honestly, John, I can understand now to hate on
- 41:48Speaker 2: your own team, to hate on the head coach that's
- 41:52Speaker 2: only been there two years, it is a tough pill
- 41:56Speaker 2: to swallow, and I get it. But I man, when
- 42:01Speaker 2: you see another coach that av that's available, that you
- 42:04Speaker 2: know we wanted years ago, and he turned U down,
- 42:07Speaker 2: dude to Rick Patino, and you kind of think, Okay,
- 42:10Speaker 2: what could have? Should have would a And you think, Okay,
- 42:14Speaker 2: maybe that's what we want. I at this point, I
- 42:18Speaker 2: don't know what I want justin I don't know other
- 42:22Speaker 2: than I want a successful basketball team. I want to
- 42:25Speaker 2: see Kentucky an elite team again. They are not there.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Right now. I mean, I agree with you on thousand percent.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I mean, uh, the possibility of uh Milan mom Chilovic
- 42:38Speaker 2: coming to UK, I don't know anymore. I mean I
- 42:40Speaker 2: felt kind of good yesterday until I saw him say, well,
- 42:44Speaker 2: you know, I want to go back to If I
- 42:46Speaker 2: go back to the NBA or college, I'm okay with that.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I want to ultimately get to the NBA. But if
- 42:52Speaker 2: I don't make it this year, if I get down
- 42:54Speaker 2: there a couple of years down the road, I'm good
- 42:56Speaker 2: with that. I want to make it. But if I
- 42:58Speaker 2: go back to college, I'm okay. But then he goes
- 43:01Speaker 2: on and says, I just want to go play for
- 43:03Speaker 2: a school that's gonna give me a chance in March.
- 43:07Speaker 2: And then he mentions yeah, UK as a possibility, and
- 43:11Speaker 2: then he goes on and says Saint John's and U
- 43:14Speaker 2: of l good news is Louisvill's not gonna be in
- 43:19Speaker 2: a spot to afford him. I don't think so either,
- 43:22Speaker 2: but that's one advantage.
- 43:24Speaker 3: But well, yeah, if you have Rick Patino take yet
- 43:28Speaker 3: another guy away from Kentucky that that might start becoming.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Some bad blood, you wonder I mean, okay, you had
- 43:37Speaker 2: this whole big love affair. How much you love your
- 43:40Speaker 2: former coach, but when he starts taking players from you,
- 43:43Speaker 2: do you still have that affection for him? I I
- 43:48Speaker 2: think it. You know, you get a little chink in
- 43:50Speaker 2: the armor there, poor Mack. Oh well exactly. That's another
- 43:55Speaker 2: of those people say it. They don't lose their rs,
- 43:58Speaker 2: don't they? They do. I mean, there was a kid
- 44:02Speaker 2: that went to school with my boys. His dad was
- 44:04Speaker 2: from Boston. His name was Mark, and he called him mock.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I mean, I swore it was mock. When I first
- 44:11Speaker 2: started meeting I called him mock. He looked at me, says,
- 44:13Speaker 2: my name is Mark. I said, but your dad said mock.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I'm just repeating what your dad said. Isn't that terrible?
- 44:21Speaker 2: I did? I kept calling him mock. Oh my god, yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 2: Just like this time, my wife introduced me to somebody
- 44:28Speaker 2: his uh and I forgot what his name was. But
- 44:30Speaker 2: he had one of those belts that had the name
- 44:33Speaker 2: tag on it, you know, hell yeah all right, and
- 44:35Speaker 2: it said Stu. And I kept calling him Stu the
- 44:40Speaker 2: entire day. We're at dinner that night, Michael, why do
- 44:42Speaker 2: you keep calling him Stu? She called me out on
- 44:45Speaker 2: it in front of everybody. I said, because his name
- 44:47Speaker 2: is Stu. She goes, it is not, and he started laughing.
- 44:50Speaker 2: He goes, yeah, my wife gave me this belt as
- 44:52Speaker 2: a joke. Look at the last name and put it together.
- 44:56Speaker 2: His last name was Podasso, So put Stu and Podasso together.
- 45:02Speaker 2: That's good and that was his Yeah, so they got
- 45:05Speaker 2: a big chuckle at it. As I was absolutely embarrassed
- 45:08Speaker 2: because I called him stew all day long. That's hilarious. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:11Speaker 2: but that was a great one. But anyway, all right,
- 45:13Speaker 2: we gotta take a break. We'll get more to your
- 45:15Speaker 2: texas soon as we get back, and hopefully you get
- 45:18Speaker 2: that testosterone two or estrogen five two four one four
- 45:21Speaker 2: fourteen fifty stay right there, our two coming right up.
- 45:32Speaker 2: That's what.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 45:54Speaker 2: All right, hour number two on this Thursday, beautiful day
- 45:58Speaker 2: outside by the way, it's yeah, and it's supposed to
- 46:01Speaker 2: be really warm this weekend too, isn't it. Yeah, like
- 46:05Speaker 2: in the eighties or something. Yeah, and then I think Monday,
- 46:07Speaker 2: we're gonna hit nineties really summer. Baby. I'm just trying
- 46:11Speaker 2: to figure out if they moved the Derby back two
- 46:15Speaker 2: weeks would the weather be a lot better. No, it'd
- 46:18Speaker 2: be odd. But that's okay, isn't it would you wouldn't
- 46:21Speaker 2: you rather have a hotter Derby than a cold, rainy Derby.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't feel like we get rainy Derby's
- 46:29Speaker 3: all that often like this.
- 46:30Speaker 2: We just had rainy Derby's like four or five years
- 46:33Speaker 2: in a row. Last year was an absolute downpour in
- 46:37Speaker 2: the race.
- 46:37Speaker 3: All right, Michael, do whatever you want, move them to
- 46:39Speaker 3: whenever you want, whenever you think is best. That's what
- 46:43Speaker 3: I was not trying to upset you out today. Last
- 46:45Speaker 3: year Derby. This year was amazing, you thought, so. I
- 46:48Speaker 3: feel like more times than not, you're gonna get good
- 46:50Speaker 3: weather Derby. Do you okay doing it at the time
- 46:53Speaker 3: of the year.
- 46:53Speaker 2: It just I feel like the last three or four
- 46:55Speaker 2: years it's been nothing but rain, rain, rainy.
- 46:57Speaker 3: I want them to move it to whenever it means
- 47:01Speaker 3: the Preakness runners will run.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Yeah. See, I'm right there with you. Whatever needs to
- 47:06Speaker 2: be done for that. You know, Maryland is trying to
- 47:08Speaker 2: step in now. I don't know if you've seen this
- 47:10Speaker 2: or not and pay eighty five million dollars to keep
- 47:13Speaker 2: the Preakness in Maryland. And not have it owned by
- 47:16Speaker 2: Churchill down So I'm right there with you. I wish
- 47:21Speaker 2: so in your mind, do you think three weeks would
- 47:25Speaker 2: be enough? So have it? Because you know, right now
- 47:28Speaker 2: as it stands, it's Derby two weeks Preakness, three weeks Belmont,
- 47:34Speaker 2: and now as it's going right now, it's Derby five
- 47:39Speaker 2: weeks Belmont at least the last two years. So I'm
- 47:44Speaker 2: with you. If we moved it back a week, do
- 47:48Speaker 2: you believe the trainers would say, okay, three weeks is enough?
- 47:53Speaker 2: Because still that's a little that's a little ahead of time,
- 47:56Speaker 2: but usually three weeks would be okay. Do you think
- 48:00Speaker 2: the trainers of the Derby horses would say, okay, we're
- 48:03Speaker 2: going to the Preakness.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Probably not all of them, especially if they've got a
- 48:07Speaker 3: horse that's not really in good form at that at
- 48:09Speaker 3: that point, but I do think you would get a
- 48:13Speaker 3: significant you're gonna have more than three Derby horses.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah. For you and I that really love horse racing,
- 48:21Speaker 2: I'm right there with you. It is disappointing because I
- 48:24Speaker 2: feel like the Preakness has been downgraded to a Grade
- 48:28Speaker 2: three race, I mean, not really a Grade one anymore?
- 48:31Speaker 3: Am I gonna watch the Preakness on Saturday. Absolutely, Oh
- 48:34Speaker 3: I am am. I gonna enjoy it as much as
- 48:36Speaker 3: I could have. Absolutely not. Yeah, no, no, I don't
- 48:40Speaker 3: think anybody is. I think that and the Preakedness has
- 48:43Speaker 3: to be really worried about this. I would think Pimlical
- 48:47Speaker 3: Racetrack is extremely concerned and they need to step up.
- 48:50Speaker 3: They stepped up number one by tearing down the old
- 48:53Speaker 3: Pimlical Racetrack and rebuilding it. Because you know, they've only
- 48:56Speaker 3: allowed I think I mentioned this a couple of days ago,
- 48:58Speaker 3: only allowed forty eight hunds people go to the Preakness
- 49:01Speaker 3: this year, because that's all Laurel Park can really afford having.
- 49:05Speaker 3: They don't have an infield. It's a swamp. I want
- 49:08Speaker 3: to know the difference. I've got to see stats somehow
- 49:13Speaker 3: about Preakness and Derby. I want to know like TV stats.
- 49:16Speaker 3: I want to know ticket stat like revenue. I want
- 49:20Speaker 3: to know all those numbers when you compare the two
- 49:23Speaker 3: with the way it's set.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Up this year, Derby and Preakness. Yeah, oh, it's gonna
- 49:26Speaker 2: be laughing. Oh it's it's Oh, absolutely, it's gonna be laughable.
- 49:29Speaker 2: First of all, tickets I don't know if they're going
- 49:33Speaker 2: that much because nobody wants to go to Laurel Park.
- 49:36Speaker 2: No offense to Laurel Park, nobody cares. I bet you
- 49:39Speaker 2: a vast majority of the casual race fan didn't even
- 49:42Speaker 2: know there was another racetrack in Baltimore called Laurel Park
- 49:46Speaker 2: until this week. And so yeah, it's gonna be drastically different.
- 49:51Speaker 2: I spend a lot of time on Twin Spires like
- 49:53Speaker 2: me and the other unfortunate part. I bet a lot
- 49:57Speaker 2: of people don't even watch the race because Gold Temple's
- 50:00Speaker 2: not even in the race. I mean, there's no interest. No,
- 50:03Speaker 2: there's no interest. And you wonder, okay, well, then how
- 50:06Speaker 2: many people will watch the Belmont? Maybe a few more,
- 50:10Speaker 2: but it increasingly gets more eyes on the TV when
- 50:16Speaker 2: you have a triple crown horse potential.
- 50:19Speaker 3: And what's the biggest storyline going into Saturday? Nothing that
- 50:24Speaker 3: we didn't get to see Great White Great.
- 50:25Speaker 2: That's the only thing that's.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Literally the only storyline to watch this weekend. Yes, how's
- 50:30Speaker 3: great white dude?
- 50:31Speaker 2: Right? I think that's the only thing there is. But
- 50:37Speaker 2: other than that, I don't think there's anything else that's
- 50:39Speaker 2: spectacular about this race. I'm going. I look forward to
- 50:43Speaker 2: it because you know, I own a nosehair, so and
- 50:47Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to that. What did you think about
- 50:49Speaker 2: the news yesterday that was breaking right after the show?
- 50:53Speaker 2: South Carolina Supreme Court has overturned the murder conviction of
- 50:58Speaker 2: Alex Murdall. I don't know how.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I have watched every piece of I've thought you had.
- 51:06Speaker 3: I've watched everything there is to watch about this murderal case,
- 51:09Speaker 3: and I have no idea how they could overturn that,
- 51:14Speaker 3: no clue.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Well, they said there's few people that were very influential
- 51:18Speaker 2: that were already trying to taint the jury and that's
- 51:21Speaker 2: the reason this happened. And they said also the Supreme Court,
- 51:25Speaker 2: all of them voted this way to overturn it. It
- 51:29Speaker 2: was unanimous. Now, I mean, so there has to be
- 51:32Speaker 2: something convincing of it justin Yeah, But I mean, at
- 51:35Speaker 2: the end of the day, does it really matter because
- 51:38Speaker 2: his financial crimes and all that, he'll be in jail
- 51:41Speaker 2: the rest of his life regardless. Well, that's twenty seven years,
- 51:44Speaker 2: isn't it for the financial crimes. Yeah? But I mean
- 51:46Speaker 2: he's not gonna how old he's fifty years? Oh well,
- 51:48Speaker 2: wait a minute, now, is he only fifty I thought
- 51:51Speaker 2: he was like the mid fifties at best, fifty five
- 51:54Speaker 2: fifty seven something like that. And if he's if he
- 51:58Speaker 2: has good behavior, swat he's out when he's probably in
- 52:01Speaker 2: his seventies. He's fifty seven now, all right, So he's
- 52:04Speaker 2: fifty seven. He's been in for a what two or
- 52:07Speaker 2: three years? He is serving forty years. Oh it's more
- 52:10Speaker 2: than I thought.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Never mind, Okay, So if he makes it in ninety seven,
- 52:14Speaker 3: kudos to him.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Well what if they let him out of good behavior?
- 52:18Speaker 2: I mean I just don't know how he could. It's
- 52:20Speaker 2: just financial uh uh misrepresentation.
- 52:25Speaker 3: So yeah, but I mean, obviously, if they're overturning the
- 52:28Speaker 3: double murder, then.
- 52:29Speaker 2: We're not overturning the financial part of it because they
- 52:32Speaker 2: did catch him. But we're gonna have to go through
- 52:34Speaker 2: another trial and all that. Oh yeah right, oh yeah.
- 52:37Speaker 2: Can you imagine another trial because of this? Well, so
- 52:43Speaker 2: all of his property was sold because you know, he's
- 52:46Speaker 2: out of money because he was trying to support himself.
- 52:48Speaker 2: As far as the first financial trial, would you have
- 52:52Speaker 2: considered if you had the money to buy uh? Just
- 52:57Speaker 2: not even that that in South Carolina, just any let's
- 53:00Speaker 2: just say in louisvill Kentucky, there was a sensational event
- 53:04Speaker 2: that happened where a gentleman murdered or a woman murdered
- 53:10Speaker 2: her family, and a year or two later you could
- 53:15Speaker 2: get it for a pretty good price. Would you consider
- 53:18Speaker 2: buying the property.
- 53:20Speaker 3: I don't want anything that has been associated with any
- 53:23Speaker 3: sort of crime, especially murders, because I'm constantly gonna be
- 53:27Speaker 3: thinking about that and wondering.
- 53:29Speaker 2: No, I'm out. Is that the only reason? Or would
- 53:32Speaker 2: you worried that there might be after life events within
- 53:36Speaker 2: the house or the property. That wouldn't bother me? It
- 53:39Speaker 2: wouldn't at all. See that would bother me a little bit.
- 53:41Speaker 3: It would just be the mindset of constantly wondering and
- 53:44Speaker 3: thinking about it, and I just I don't need that.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Well, if it was a good price, I might consider it.
- 53:52Speaker 2: I mean, if it was going for less than half
- 53:55Speaker 2: of the value that it's worth, I might say. I mean,
- 53:57Speaker 2: you know, maybe I would, because I have a friend
- 54:00Speaker 2: that did buy a house here here in Louisville where
- 54:04Speaker 2: a murder happened, and they bought it for really no money.
- 54:08Speaker 3: I just couldn't do it, and they lived in it
- 54:10Speaker 3: for like thirty years even like their whole boat situation,
- 54:13Speaker 3: Like if he was if the member of the whole
- 54:15Speaker 3: thing with his son and son he killed a girl
- 54:17Speaker 3: on the boat because I'm drunk.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Right, if I could.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Buy that boat for one thousand dollars, I wouldn't even
- 54:23Speaker 3: do it because I know what's associated with it.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Really, you would not, No, I mean, okay, I.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Don't want any I don't want to own anything that
- 54:31Speaker 3: has anything fars tied to it.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I am fascinated by that. Really just kind of give
- 54:37Speaker 2: you just don't want that bad juju? Yes, exactly, Okay,
- 54:41Speaker 2: I would have to consider it. Man, if phil was
- 54:43Speaker 2: a really nice one or two year old boat, even
- 54:46Speaker 2: five ten year old boat that was an immaculate shape,
- 54:50Speaker 2: for a couple of thousand dollars, I might say, you
- 54:53Speaker 2: know what I might like to have that. I just
- 54:55Speaker 2: couldn't do it, knowing that that poor girl lost her life. Well, okay,
- 54:58Speaker 2: it's like this, all right. You know the famous lawyer
- 55:02Speaker 2: John Morgan right for the people. Yes, do you realize
- 55:07Speaker 2: he owns the Ford Bronco that O. J. Simpson was
- 55:11Speaker 2: in the back of when he was escaping and the
- 55:14Speaker 2: other guy was driving him. See now, that I'd be
- 55:17Speaker 2: okay with. How's that different?
- 55:19Speaker 3: That wasn't like he didn't commit the murder in the Bronco.
- 55:22Speaker 3: That was that's just a cool piece of history. Got
- 55:25Speaker 3: you think that's a cool piece of history. Yeah, I
- 55:27Speaker 3: mean the teacher following it. Oh yeah, yeah, that'd be.
- 55:31Speaker 3: That'd be fascinating to have.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Really. I mean, I don't know that i'd ever drive
- 55:35Speaker 2: it or anything, but okay, all right then, fair enough.
- 55:38Speaker 2: I listen. I'm fascinating how your mind works.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Now, see killed his wife in there, then I'm probably
- 55:42Speaker 3: thinking different about it.
- 55:44Speaker 2: But he didn't. Honey, there's a lot of red stains
- 55:46Speaker 2: back here. I can't seem to get him out.
- 55:48Speaker 3: That's just the hoosier in you, the hoosier in me,
- 55:52Speaker 3: know in me.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Oh okay, you said, yeah, that's what my wife would say.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Oh it is, I look forward to beating your wife
- 55:57Speaker 2: one day. Oh you don't. Yes, I ain't happening, Yes
- 56:01Speaker 2: it is. Don't ever say I am going to wish
- 56:04Speaker 2: you will never be my wife. I don't want to
- 56:07Speaker 2: be your wife. Said I look forward to being your
- 56:09Speaker 2: wife one day. No, I said, I look forward to
- 56:11Speaker 2: meeting your wife one day. No, you've left out the meeting.
- 56:14Speaker 2: I did not Lokay, I'm not gonna argue with you today.
- 56:17Speaker 2: You're in a mood. H Josh texted out five two
- 56:20Speaker 2: four one four fourteen fifty Dave Grope plays drums and sings.
- 56:25Speaker 2: There you go, but I don't think he does it
- 56:27Speaker 2: at the same time. I have never seen because you know,
- 56:31Speaker 2: he played drums for Tom Petty, he played drums for,
- 56:34Speaker 2: of course Nirvana, that's where he was most famously known
- 56:38Speaker 2: as the drummer Nirvana. But with the Foo Fighters he
- 56:42Speaker 2: never played drums. He played guitar. A little bit of
- 56:46Speaker 2: a difference there, So I I, Josh, I appreciate that
- 56:49Speaker 2: because you're right, but I don't think he's sang and
- 56:50Speaker 2: played the drums the same time. If I'm wrong about that,
- 56:53Speaker 2: correct me please.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Uh.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Buzz said uh, and I just got my first transformation text.
- 56:59Speaker 2: There's there's not enough testosterone in the world. Oh my gosh,
- 57:07Speaker 2: oh my, I just I am enjoying these. Paler said, uh, yeah,
- 57:11Speaker 2: I got that one. Uh forty eight. Handley said, Scoots
- 57:15Speaker 2: nailed that tumble. Uh he may have a future in
- 57:19Speaker 2: stand up terrible. Oh that terrible? Yeah you think so
- 57:23Speaker 2: that's terrible. You sound just like him. I'm not kitty,
- 57:28Speaker 2: it is. If I didn't know any better, I think
- 57:30Speaker 2: that was Charles Barber. I've been inspired by Frank Kellyando.
- 57:34Speaker 2: He's the funniest guy. But between them, between him and
- 57:39Speaker 2: Bill Hayder doing al Pacino is some of the greatest
- 57:43Speaker 2: stuff out because you know Frank Calliando. I think Frank
- 57:46Speaker 2: Calliando's uh impersonation of John Gruden is elite, the best.
- 57:52Speaker 2: I think that is his best one. His John Madden's
- 57:55Speaker 2: really good to alway. John Madden's really good. Yeah. Do
- 57:57Speaker 2: you think it's okay to have impersonate do people that
- 58:00Speaker 2: have already passed? I do it does and I think
- 58:05Speaker 2: the people that have passed, I think John Madden would
- 58:08Speaker 2: really appreciate it because people are remembering him exactly. There
- 58:12Speaker 2: was nothing greater than Thanksgiving Day watching John Madden and
- 58:19Speaker 2: Pat summer Ale do a football game. I looked forward
- 58:23Speaker 2: to it. I mean, those are fond, fond memories.
- 58:25Speaker 3: I could deal without the Thanksgiving Day games just because
- 58:27Speaker 3: all he talked about was the turd dukan.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know what, that was a part of
- 58:32Speaker 2: it though. All right, Speaking of the NFL, have you
- 58:36Speaker 2: seen where Netflix now is owning a lot of holidays
- 58:40Speaker 2: for NFL games. How crazy is this? I mean, I
- 58:44Speaker 2: just can't get over the NFL is doing what games
- 58:51Speaker 2: they're doing Thanksgiving Eve? Do you like that Thanksgiving they're
- 58:59Speaker 2: doing is Christmas Eve, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day,
- 59:05Speaker 2: and they're also doing Valentine's Day. I could do without that. Well,
- 59:11Speaker 2: here's the part that surprises me the most. Who's going
- 59:14Speaker 2: to watch? You know? Thanksgiving? If I know this correctly, statistically,
- 59:18Speaker 2: is the most traveled holiday of all holidays. Most people
- 59:23Speaker 2: prefer to stay home for Christmas, but they travel to
- 59:26Speaker 2: be with family on Thanksgiving. Why that is? I don't know.
- 59:29Speaker 2: I would prefer to be with family on things Christmas,
- 59:32Speaker 2: I'd do it the opposite way. But who's going to
- 59:35Speaker 2: watch the game on Thanksgiving Eve? Because most people are
- 59:39Speaker 2: traveling that that is the most traveled day all year long.
- 59:44Speaker 3: I mean that's with the way technology is nowadays, you
- 59:47Speaker 3: can watch that when you're in the car, fire it
- 59:49Speaker 3: up on the screen there.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I mean, Netflix is owning everything right now.
- 59:54Speaker 3: You know the best part about this? Yes, Netflix is
- 59:57Speaker 3: taking all this extra stuff on. Yeah, and the price
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: of Netflix has not gone through the roof. It just
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: just wait now, let me knock on wood here. But
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: every time they do a price increase, it's like two
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: three bucks. I can handle that.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: But but yeah, how often are they doing it? Though?
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Every two months? Like every year?
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Okay, Now, if we get to a point where Netflix
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: is eighty ninety bucks, people are gonna hop out. But
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: their price increases have not been outrageous like a lot
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: of other streaming services.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I can look at you right now and I can
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: say I have officially not watched Netflix in more than
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: two years. Really, yeah, you're I don't like Netflix. There's
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: some great shows on there. It is my least favorite. Update.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: So I told you how I was watching the Fokkers movies. Yes,
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: they did put Little Fokkers on there, so, oh they did.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to watch that one too.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Well, it would make sense that they put all of
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: them on. Okay, so you gotta watch the Little Fowkers. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: that's one of my favorites. I love that one. I
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: might like that one the most because it's got this
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: uh pretty actress in there. I can't think of her name,
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Jennifer something, I don't know. Yeah, she she is no
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: it's not Lawrence because you don't know who she is. No,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: I don't. She's a pharmaceutical rep in the little Fokkers. Yeah,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: she's she's easy on the eye. Sorry about that, Joee.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: But oh you're talking Jessica album. Jessica album, that's it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: She is very easy on Yeah, yeah, I I I
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: don't know how she is as an actress, but yeah,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: she's a good actress. Is she really? I'm never well, Okay,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: she was in she was.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: In Chuck and Larry. Have you ever seen Chuck and
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Larry Chuck and Larry Adam Sandler And uh, she was
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: not she was No, she wasn't. She was wasn't she
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: was the No, it's it's uh another person.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: No, I think you're wrong. Oh Jessica Biel, thank you
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: told you. I'm Jessica's gay. I'm a Jessica Bile fan toast.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: I like them both. Yeah. Uh. Netflix is going to
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: host the NFL Honors before Super Bowl sixty one, where
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: you know, that's where they do the NFL MVP is announced,
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Hall of Fame selections are revealed, all that kind of stuff.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: They're going to do that, and uh uh they're also
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: bringing back season three of Quarterback. Have you watched that show?
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: That people go all? Right, So I haven't watched a
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: single episode of Quarterback and that people go nuts for
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: that show. See you watched Race for the Crown though,
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: I did that. I think that is the last thing
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I watched on that flat.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: I mean it's they're all set, like I like all
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: those shows. The Quarterback show, Yeah, full swing about the golfers,
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: I love that was great?
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Yes, I agree?
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: Who what they did a basketball one where they followed
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: basketball guys.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: That was entertaining? Wasn't with k on it? Maybe that's
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: a different I'm thinking of. I don't. I'm trying to
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: understand why they did not do a season two of
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Race for the Crown. I thought it was wildly successful.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Well wasn't that Didn't it just come out last year?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: No?
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: It was year before. That was Derby. Remember that was
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Mystic Dan and Torpedo Ana with Kenny mcpete. So that
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: was Derby. Uh, And I was really disappointed. Yeah, they
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: must not have had good viewership on that. I find
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: it hard to believe everybody I talked to watched it,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: even if they weren't horse racing. Well, maybe that is true.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Maybe it's just because it's in our area.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: I mean, knowing that a lot of it was highlighted
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: on the Kentucky Derby made it intrigue for people to
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: want to watch.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: So I had a nice, long, twenty minute conversation with
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Jason Worth yesterday. Jason was you know he was in
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: the third Well first, he might have been in a
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: bunch of the episode because his horse Door Knock won
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: the Belmont. So can I tell you what a really
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: really nice guy he is? Awesome? He called me Mike,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: how you doing. I hate to correct him that it's Michael.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Should I talk to him and say, hey, Jason, I
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: really by Michael.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: If a former athlete wants to call you Mike, you
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: just accept that.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, And he acts like he was all excited
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: to talk to me. I just I really appreciate. Let
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: that be his special thing he can call Okay, yeah,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: all right, I'll let him call me Mike. But you know,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: it does get under my skin when somebody calls me Mike.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: But just make sure if you ever win a race
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: that he's at as well, just make sure that he
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: knows that they go over the top.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Michael Bennett. Michael Bennett, Yes, yes, or I'll call him
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Jay and he'll be like, who the hell's Mike Michael exactly? Mike, Yeah,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: you have a brother named Michael. I don't get it.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: That's what you should. You should if you always call
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: him Jason, you should call him j exactly, and he'll
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: be he'll be like, why are you calling me that?
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Because you call me Mike? Yeah exactly. I think I should.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: I like that idea right there, because he spells his
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Jason differently j A. Why. I don't know if you knew,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: that's so yeah s O n j A Y. So
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: might as well call him Jay anyway, No, and that
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: would be creepy. Yeah. Next thing you know, he's gonna
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: call me daddy. So no, we're not doing that, so no,
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: I I But anyway, all right, Well when we come back,
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: I want to talk about what's going on at Oklahoma.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: My goodness, the amount of money they are spending and
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: it just puts uh uh the entertainment district at UK
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: to shame. So we're gonna talk about that, uh. And
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: then I, you know, I do want to talk about
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: this one NBA player is it the in for him?
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: So stay right there and we'll get back to more
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: of your texas well. Favel two four one four fourteen fifty.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: This is just a cats.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: You love it, I love it, you.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Love it, love it. I know she'll be the death immediately.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: It's consent every beautiful five min sir, and I guess
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: now his mother so humanity, okay, one with the best
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: of them, he will beautiful black dream come love.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: And c Bavel two three four fourteen fifty want to
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: call Fable two four one four fourteen fifty one. Textan
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: on the Whiskey Thief text line not the Transformation Today
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: text line. Uh but one person said, guys drafted late
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: in the first round make about two and a half million,
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: not four. So in a point stands he's not getting
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: too and a half million of kentuck. Why not? How
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: much were they going to give a Stokes? Probably they
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: were going to give Tyrann Stokes anywhere from uh five
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: to seven million, that's about right. Yeah, okay, why would
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: they not? That's the number one priority for Mark Pope
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: is to make certain that Malachi does not go anywhere else.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: If he does come back, and if he does, he's
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: gonna get to an a half to three million dollars. I
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: guarantee you.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: No that I mean, because you just made him a
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: point for me. Mark Pope came out and said that
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: was their number one priority. Yes, in the off season.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: That to me tells me it's already done. Okay, you
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: did that before you knew you weren't getting Stokes. So
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: there's it's not like they're gonna go back and be like, hey, Malachi,
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: we didn't get Stokes, so here's an extra two million
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: for you. That's not gonna happen. Any money they didn't
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: spend on Stokes is gonna go to Mom Chilovich and
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: potentially anybody else that may join.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Yeah. One person said, Michael is just thinking, h if
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Heaven ain't a lot like Dixie, he won't go. He
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: don't want to go. Oh my goodness, what song is
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: that reference sing? Right there? Is that an Alabama song?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Don't think it is. It's not. Okay, I don't think so.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: But it's obviously a country music song. There's not a
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: rock and roll song out there that includes Dixie, is it?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Not?
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Doubt it? I highly doubt it. I mean, Hank Williams,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Hank Williams, heam okay, I thought it was Alabama, but
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: I'm sure you're right. I thought you were close when
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: you said Alabama, but I knew it was really okay, Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: only only probably the only rock bands that would be
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: close to including something southernisc would be like a Lenyard
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: skinnerd A Molly Hatchet, a thirty eight Special, something like that.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: But anybody else, Nah, I don't think it's anything. The
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Rolling Stones would be referencing. Uh Willy Wonka walked with
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: a cane and then he ended up doing a somersault.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Just remember the snoozeberries taste like snoozeberries, snosberry oh sno's
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: oh to me, it looks like snooze. I don't remember
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: what it's snaz. Don't write it down, Just tell me
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: who it is. It's ed Ed. All right, let's go
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: to the phone line. What's up?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Ed?
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: WHOA?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm very interested in what you fellas are talking about.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Saving money for this guy, saving money for that guy,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: blah blah blah. Understand understand completely. However, why in twenty
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: twenty six are we talking about this. Why the NCAA
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: and college sports in general football basketball to extend some
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: of the other sports baseball they have and I use
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: this word not well, I'm going to say it prostituted
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the collegiate athlete to the hill. They had coaches got
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: fig salaries, Athletic directors got huge salaries. College presidents were
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: idiots for thirty or forty at least thirty years at
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: least now, forty years ago, you had the TV contracts
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: and things like this. I am fed up to the
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I mean, I am fed up with college athletics. And they're, oh, well,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: we don't have any money. We got to give this
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: guy six point five million to play. What have they
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: been doing with seat license, with tickets to she'son tickets
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to whatever event it is football or basketball or both
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: or whatever. Thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars have
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: been put into collegiate athletics. Oh, we don't have any
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: money now. We can't pay a Laica Marino two point
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: one millions. We can't pay Mike cal Brown six points
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: or whatever he made. I don't know. I don't exactly
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: know what he made, but he wasn't worth the three
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: cents because he never played after nineteen games, which I
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: think they have got to do something about. And I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: know I'm almost soapop and I'm on in one this morning, But.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Hopefully it's thief Like I.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Like collegiate athletics too much. I don't want to leave it.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: I don't want to stop going to U of L
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: or UK games or or or whatever. Now professional athletes,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: that's a different story. But is a college education not
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: worth squad anymore?
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: No? Yess not, it's not. I'm going to tell you
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: right now, Ed, it is not. May I ask what
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: you're a fan of U K, U of L somebody else?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Uh? Okay, what do you be my opinion on U
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: L UK?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Who are you a fan of? Are you a fan
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: of UK or U of L?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to divulge it because I'm actually
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I'm a so called journalist and I shouldn't do that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: But the way I talk, you should be able to
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: figure out which if I'm red or blue? Uh, you
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: should be able to figure that out.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I appreciate that, and I appreciate what what?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: What? What? What's wrong with liking? Vote?
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Nothing? I mean, I'm not criticizing. I was just curious
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: which what's your fan you are? I wasn't going to
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: make fun of you either way.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Well, if my wife heard me this morning, I'm talking
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: on the U can't show around the locks be changed.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: I like your wife. Uh yeah, because you know that's
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: that's happened to me too. And I've said Buddha Vanderbilt.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: But uh, anyway, but I appreciate that. I appreciate your honesty,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: and that's It's okay to be a fan of both.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: It's okay just you know, when when UK and U
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: of L play, guess what, I'm a UK fan and
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: you might be a U of L fan. I don't
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: have any problem with that. But you're absolutely correct. But
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: here would be my question to you, ed before we
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: let you go. Do you believe now see I I
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: assume you and I are probably pretty similar in age,
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: but do you believe people that are the age of
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Justin or younger are like minded as we are? Because
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: you and I saw it both ways, and we miss
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: the old days of when college athletes were considered not professional.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Today they're professional. But do you believe that people of
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: a certain age Justin or younger really care about that anymore?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to preface this by something, and the
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: answer is, I don't believe they give a dark They
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: don't care, and that's nothing against Justin. He's an I
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you fan. I don't hate Iu like my wife does.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: She actually hate that because she thinks that I you
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: got U of l in trouble, with the whole thing
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: with a Katina Palell and write a book and with
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Kenny Johnson leaving and all that kind of stuff. I
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: don't hate Highu. I think kurtzin Edi and Fernando's one
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: of the greatest stories in my lifetime is covering sports.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: But anyway, getting back to your point, I think that
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I remember the days when I was in school, and
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: actually before I was in school, Kentucky was very good
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: in the seventies of the late sixties, they were very good,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: and Kentucky looked down their nose at Louisville. They wouldn't
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: play Louville, but that was rough. That was one of
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Ruff's old things. He wouldn't play Eastern, Western, Warhead, Murray.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Well they play all of them now on a kind
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of a rotating base. They have played Murray in a while,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: or I don't know if they played Murray, but I
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: know Morehead they played, they played Eastern, they played now
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: they played.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Murray in football, not in basketball, right.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Right ll anyway to my point is back in the day,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and back in the day. I'm seventy three years old, Michael,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'm a lot older than you are, and I've been
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: around this since I was probably all ten or eleven
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: years old. In my family, they always they always like
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: to watch every Sunday, it was PLoP yourself in front
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: of the TV and watch the watch the NFL. And
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: now it's it's it's it's twenty four to seven. I
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: could sit down at midnight and if it's on a weekend,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: as it's college football, I can see Pacific play San Jose.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Now I don't give a rets you know about Pacific
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: at San Jose, but if I want to watch it,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I can see it. Yes, back in the day, you
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: had less games. It was more exciting. I'll never forget this,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: and then I'll conclude here. This is an interesting story.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I got a ticket from Convenient food Marks, the old
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: convenience food Marks, for one dollar to go see Louisville
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and Cincinnati play. That was a big, big rivalry in
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the old Missouri Valley. Well, it so happens that Louisville
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: had beaten Cincinnati at Cincinnati that year that Cincinnati, you know,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: was coming off of two straight final games and made
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: one one title. Well, anyway, this is a little later on,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: a couple of years later, and the place was packed.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: There was no seat for me, So you know what
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I did. I sat in the aisleway about three quarters
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: of the way up in Old Freedom. All My thing is,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you don't get that anymore. You got and the Young
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Center's outstanding. But if you go up to the top
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: of the Young Center and you're paying I don't know,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: seventy five fifty to seventy five, you can't see. I
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: don't want to watch the game on a big screen TV.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I can do that at home and pay pennies for
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: a coke zero or if I want an alcoholic beverage,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I don't have to pay sixteen dollars dollars Monday, excuse
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: me Tuesday. And now I'm on a rampant rant.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Yes, I.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Went to the Reds game and I got some nice
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: twenty rolls from the field behind just as the right
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: of home. I left them home plate for fifty five
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: dollars apiece me and my cousin, and it was great. Well,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I get there and I can't spend anything with cash,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: which I am graduated into the twenty twenty sixth World
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: So I had to go to an ATM machine and
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: buy a card and put money on that in order
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: to buy well, I got to them. I go to
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: the Cony. What's the place called something Chili Skyline Chili
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: too many Cony's, too many Conys with she with a
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: little bit of chili on it and a large pokes
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: and year old not in a not in a a cup,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: a commemorative cup twenty seven fifty. I could have bought
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: four dozen hot dogs at Kroger with buns for less
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: than that. It'd have bought a six pack of coke
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: zero for half that. Now I know it's changed. Things
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: are different now, you know, hot dog's no longer fifty
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: cents or or or or whatever it is. And and
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: and now they did have what they called three two one.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: You could pay three dollars for a beer, which was
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: a I think a sixteen ounce can. You could pay
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: two dollars for a hot dog. Yes, I had to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: have the cone because I like chili in the skylight.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Because I only go to the Reds Movies once or
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: twice a year. Anyway, we just we just we just
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: continued to dump on the fans who support the Reds,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: who absolute stink right now, they absolutely stink. And I
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: really picked at the Reds and I can understand that.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: See, and I understand your rent, But go ahead real quick,
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: we gotta let you go.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: John.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: You're just getting I mean, you're just getting okay.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: And I'll make I'll make this quick. Back in the day,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: you could go to and I'm not saying you could
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: go to you could go to Aldi now and get
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: a a U of L ticket for five dollars. That
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: wouldn't that wouldn't be fair to the people that played
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: to pay the big money. But college athletics is always,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: and I mean always. When I was at the Courier
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Journal ine the Well in the early seventies in the
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: late sixties as a reporter, a guy told me, he says,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you know, you'll be lucky. You get in free. These
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: people are coming to U of L games, payout a
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: lot of money, and then they come up with a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: seat tax crap, and then they come up with this
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: other then you have nil. Well, wasn't it gonna stop?
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: It's not gonna stop.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Yeah, And.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: The college administration's administrators, including the freaking president and the
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: athletic director. They're all in all this and all of
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: all our student athletes. There more knowing athlete. And I'm
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: sitting here in my car driving. They're not an athlete
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: now they take online classes. And who is the quarterback?
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: It's now a starting quarterback for the Saints.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Tyler Yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Tyler Shuk told me he never went to a class
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: at U of L. He took him all online.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: I'm right there with you. Yeah, real quick, we gotta go, ed,
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: We we gotta go. But go ahead, real quick, we
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: gotta but but just make it brief.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Oh I'm done. I'm done. It just burns me to
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the core.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Well, here's what I'd like next time. Next time you
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: have your wife in the car with you, call in.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: I'd like to talk to your wife as well. Okay,
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: even though she would probably dislike me, I want to
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: talk to her too.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Oh. I guarantee you'll just like you.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, this is terrible. All right, thank you, Ed.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Good to hear from you. I just oh my goodness.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Well he's not going to like what I'm going to
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: talk about next because you know, uh, Oklahoma, are you
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: ready for this? They just broke ground on the Rock
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Creek Entertainment District. So illa what UK is doing over
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: at Commonwealth Stadium. They're gonna put in a brand new
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: arena as well, So there's a little more to it
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: than just the entertainment district. The Sooners are going to
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: have a brand new men's and women's basketball and gymnastics arena.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: There are you ready? So I'll give you an idea.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: If you don't remember justin what UK is spending for
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: their entertainment district, I'll tell you right now. They're spending
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: one hundred and ten million dollars. Okay, okay, you think
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: that's a lot of money. It is. How much do
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: you think Oklahoma is spending on this Rock Creek Entertainment District?
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Four hundred and fifty million? Yeah, one billion dollars. And
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: I saw that and I'm like, holy cow. So we
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: got to take a break. But when we come back,
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: it was released yesterday what every SEC team is as
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: far as receiving with for donation. So this is gonna
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: make Ed really mad too. Ed, I want to talk
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: to your wife. I'm sorry she dislikes me, but I
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: don't dislike her. I'm sure she's a really nice lady.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: We'll get that and back to your tech her now Patricia, Well,
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell him if he's going to the
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: baseball game. I wonder if he got the Patricia bought
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: a chili, So, because you know what, it's a lot
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: more than twenty seven dollars, I'll tell you that. Yeah,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: it's probably more than a lot of these nils they're
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: getting too. So anyway, you don't ever want to get
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: an order of Patricia bought a chili. So, boy, my
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: wife would divorce me if she heard me talking like
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: this about her. Stay right there, one more segment of
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Justin Cat's coming up. All right, we got our last
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: segment of this Thursday guy. This week is just flown
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: by But uh uh Fible two three four fourteen fifty.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: You want to call in file two four one four
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: fourteen fifty if you want to text in on the
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Whiskey Chief text line. Uh one person Sier Patrick said, Michael,
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: you should call Jason Freddy instead. Is he talking about
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: Freddie Freeman? Is that kind of a knock who sent that?
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Patrick called Jason Worth call him Freddy. I don't get it. Okay,
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: All right, then well maybe I'll call him Freddy Ready, Freddy,
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: I need you to explain, Patrick, I don't get it.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Buzz texan in and said, uh, Patino has always said
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: the second contract is the most valuable, the sooner you start,
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: the sooner you get to the second contract. Of course,
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: if you don't make the second contract, that point is moot.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: That's true, it is true. It is all about just
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: like in any business, the second year of being in
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: business is probably the most important of all your years
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: in business, and after that it's just it's hopefully uphill
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: from there. It's hard getting your business up and going,
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: just like it is hard and getting your job up
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: and going, getting comfortable with your job, doesn't matter what
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: job it is. Once you reach that second year, you
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: have to work harder than your first year, and if
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: you don't, you're more than likely not going to succeed
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: second year. If not, the third year is even harder.
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: So but once you get to pass those then you
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: should be good to go. So one person said, uh,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: since his name is Jason, just call him Freddy. Okay, Oh,
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: he's playing on the yeah, the movie I got you. Yeah,
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: I didn't get sorry, but now I get it. Yeah. Perfect. Yeah.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: One person said something else I'm not gonna read it.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: But uh, I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. I
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: listen anybody that calls into the show. I appreciate anybody
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: that texts into the show. I appreciate it's none bad.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Just said too long winded. Yeah, but that's okay. Yeah,
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: but I like that Ed called in. That's Ed for you.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: I would like to know Ed. That's that's par for
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: the course. I'd like to have his wife call in.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: That's what I want. Forget about the rest. I want
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: his wife. But uh well, one person said, the Preakness
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: is a Grade two for a million dollars, we may
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: see a solid horse of each emerged there. Uh no,
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: the sorry forty eight handily, the Preakness is a Grade one,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: to say, a Grade two. Yeah, it's a Grade one race,
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: and it is also worth two million dollars. So forty
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: eight handle. He's had a rough morning. Yeah, I can't
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: one part. The guy that said he's too long winted.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: I came back after a few minutes. Okay, well I'm
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: glad you did, so. I listen. I just like I
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: do my best to read every single text that come
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: in here, and I always will. I want everybody to
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: be involved in the show because I enjoy that. Let's
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: talk about the athletic donations from the SEC. Where do
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: you think the university? Now, Vanderbilt's not listen because it's
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: a private school, so we don't get to know what
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: their numbers are. I would I would be very curious
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: to know where Vanderbilt is because I I would expect
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Vanderbilt's numbers might express surprise a lot of people out there.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: I expect Vanderbilt probably to be up there with Duke. Yeah.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: But uh, where do you think out of the fifteen
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: teams because we can't do sixteen because of vane Bilt?
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Where do you think UK landed number seven? Fourteen?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: What?
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Thirty two million dollars as far as your SEC
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: donation total for the year twenty twenty four to twenty five,
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: isn't that surprising? That's very surprising. Texas is number one.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: The other part that really surprises, who's number two? Texas
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: is number one at one hundred and sixty seven million
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: dollars just one Chris one hundred and thirty five million
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: more than UK exactly. Tennessee is second. I was really
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: surprised by that one. Hundred and ten million dollars, Oklahoma
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: at ninety two.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Oh, yes, Texas is at one hundred and sixty seven. Yeah,
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: and second place is at one hundred and ten Yeah.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Fifty seven million dollars different.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: Good, great, I mean that's more than and what's South Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri,
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Old miss and Florida, Texas, A and m Auburn more
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: than half of them. Is a difference between what Tennessee
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: and Texas got in one year. How do you like?
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: That's that's a startling number right there. Startling. Oklahoma's third
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: at ninety two million, Alabama sixty six million, LSU sixty
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: five million. And think about LSU and all the money
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: they're paying out the coaches right now and for new coaches,
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: the coaches that are no longer there and new coaches,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: and they raised sixty five million. Mississippi State, who I
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: would have sworn up and down, would have been last,
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: because you know, Mississippi's won the poorest states in the country.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: It raised fifty nine million dollars Mississippi State did. That's
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: more than Old miss who got forty seven million. I
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: was really shocked. Those are the two things that really
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: stuck out to me. Who was last? Missouri South Carolina
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: and it's not even close. South Carolina only got seventeen
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: million dollars. Kentucky's there second to bottom, thirty two, Arkansas
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: thirty seven, Missouri forty six. I'm kind of surprised by
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: Arkansas because you got you got all that all Walmart money.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Missouri's forty six million old, Missus forty seven million. So
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: I think the big standouts was Mississippi State was six
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: with fifty nine million dollars. I never dreamed they would
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: raise that much money. And the the other part is
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: Texas raising one hundred and sixty seven. I really I
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: always thought Texas A and M, who raised fifty million,
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: was probably one of the wealthiest schools in the SEC.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: But man, was I missed that. It's Texas by a
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: long shot. Yeah, that's wild. It really is wild. All right.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: PJA Championship starts today. I'm so red as it's at
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: the air in a meek how do you say that? Yeah,
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: that's golf club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Is that outside
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: what Philadelphia? Okay, it is Philadelphia. Last time it was there,
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: It's been there before. Last time was nineteen sixty two
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: and the champion was Gary Player. How do you like that?
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: That's wild? Yeah, in the favorite before I get into
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: the actual favorites. You know, you were really good at
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: picking what was it the Masters? You picked it and
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: you didn't bet on it? What did you? Or was
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: that Matthew? I think it was Matthew. It was Matthew
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: y Okay, yeah, because he liked Justin Rose. No, Justin
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: didn't win up, but he was there for most of
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: the weekend.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: I picked Matt Fitzpatrick, who ironically enough won the tournament
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: the next week.
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: Oh really, Well, you know you were talking on your
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: show how Justin Thomas hasn't really been around, uh on
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: top of the leaderboard lately, but he was up there
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: last weekend. And I think you forgot that he had
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: back surgery not too long ago, so that's been the
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: reason he hasn't been playing.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: I mean this, this is not just within the past year.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: I mean this is the past three or four of you. Well,
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: you're right, he hasn't.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: He just hasn't been there. I think that all of
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: the players go through this, get married, kind of have
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: a downfall, you have a baby, kind of have a downfall,
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: and then once you're settled in with all that kind
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: of stuff, then things start get coming.
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: I mean it is true because I mean look at Rory.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: How long did he go between majors? Right, wasn't it
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: eleven years? Twelve years?
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, but I think he'll come back. I hope
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: he does. But we'll see Scotty wins. And I'm giving
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: the body you're going with, are you rally? Because that's
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: who's picked the ball to win Scheffler then Rory. I
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: think those are kind of everybody's picks right now. Uh,
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: what's the other guy? Cameron? Yeah? Cam Camy incredible And
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: then those are kind of all the popular picks, it
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: seems like right now. Of course, must be playing pretty easy.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: There's a lot of guys under part. Oh are they really?
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: Who's leading it so far? Uh?
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: You got Jaeger, Jagger, Bud Colly and Cam Smith all
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: at three under three?
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: Okay, good well, I'm looking forward to it. It's one
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: of those I enjoy the PGA Championship, I mean anytime,
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: all right, I don't. I guess I enjoy the Masters
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: the most. You can't ever say which of the PGA
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: or US Open I enjoy the most. Because it's always
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: at a different course.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: I feel like the PGA Championship, more so than any
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: other maybe, is always the most unpredictable. Like you, you
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: never can predict what's gonna happen at the PGA Championship.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: Okay, all right then, and so you're going with Scheffler,
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: I'm right there. Well, I'm going with Rory. He's not
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: gonna win, but I'm going with Rory. It just seems
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: like he's on a real run right now. I just
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: want to see those guys playing together on Sunday. Yeah,
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: all I want uh forty eight. Handley said, just seeing
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: if you're paying attention, Michael, how about the Cairo Prince
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: mayby come out of the breeze? Okay it did. I
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: appreciate you asking about that. So my Cairo Prince will
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: breeze again, I think either tomorrow morning or Saturday morning.
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: I was asking Dale's assistant Valdemar, can we just do
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: it on Saturday so I can be there and I
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: don't have to miss work. So I'll do a video
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: of it and I'll post it. So, yeah, he came out.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: We're not on the air tomorrow. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: no no, We're gonna be on the air no matter what.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: Don't give me that crap. But I'll be on the air,
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: but I will have somebody video it or if they
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: do it tomorrow, but I'm hoping they'll do it Saturday,
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: and I'll do it myself. And then I do take
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: off Saturday for Baltimore and I'll be there time you
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: fly out for the early It's a five twenty seven flight,
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: I think. So you won't be able to watch the
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: Breeze if it's on Saturday either. Oh that's right, I won't.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Oh well, never mind, I'll miss it. So but I'll
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: be here tomorrow, so I won't.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: Won't.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: I won't let you miss another time of sleeping in
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: and you fussing at me for whoever knows how long
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: you just give him crap. So anyway, fun show today,
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: but yeah, just flies by every single time. But everybody,
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: have a great day. I'll see you tomorrow on Just
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: the Cats.
