Speaker 2: Yep, it's on the edge of downtown.
• 6:47
  Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Well, I think that you've kind of outgrown the sport bike place over there.
• 6:53
Speaker 2: Yes, we outgrown it and we backed up traffic about three miles when we pulled out because we had so many cars.
• 6:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, and I was right there with you.
• 7:03
Speaker 3: That's the fun part.
• 7:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, well, it is for you.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: It is the fun part, All right.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: So where do we head on Friday morning?
• 7:11
Speaker 4: Friday morning we'll head out actually down the same main road on Navarro that we left in the past two couple years.
• 7:19
Speaker 4: Right yeah, we'll head out for Yocum.
• 7:23
Speaker 4: There's a back road that we'll take to Yocum.
• 7:27
  Speaker 2: See some camels.
• 7:28
Speaker 4: Yeah Well not that far yet, but it's coming.
• 7:31
Speaker 4: But yeah, so we'll go to Yocum.
• 7:34
Speaker 4: We'll stop at the Shroud of Brewery again, like we did the first year.
• 7:39
  Speaker 3: Oh nice.
• 7:39
Speaker 4: We'll stay there longer this time.
• 7:40
Speaker 4: Good, we have a barbecue actually a barbecue restaurant there too, and if you want to make the tour.
• 7:47
Speaker 2: Go online to Shroud of Brewery and you can reserve your tour time.
• 7:51
Speaker 2: So you definitely want to do that if you want to make the tour.
• 7:54
Speaker 2: The tour is very cool.
• 7:55
Speaker 2: We've done it several times.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: Well, are they going to take us inside the brewery, or is it the?
• 8:02
  Speaker 2: oh they will.
• 8:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, the tour actually takes you inside where the brewery is.
• 8:05
Speaker 2: They go over the history of the brewery.
• 8:08
Speaker 2: You get some tokens for some drinks.
• 8:11
Speaker 2: Samples, Samples yes, good samples, we like samples.
• 8:16
Speaker 1: I'm not a beer drinker, but I have to tell you that I did enjoy that because they've got different kinds of Shiner beer, you know what I.
• 8:24
Speaker 2: They've also got liquor now, and they've got frozen drinks as well.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: Yeah baby, now you're talking.
• 8:31
  Speaker 4: And that liquor.
• 8:32
Speaker 4: They call it Moose Shrine and you can only buy it there.
• 8:34
  Speaker 2: I like it.
• 8:35
Speaker 2: Is there a limit?
• 8:36
Speaker 3: on how many times.
• 8:37
  Speaker 4: It's a very cool tour.
• 8:38
Speaker 2: Is there a limit on how many times you can take the tour?
• 8:42
Speaker 3: No, I don't think so Mike needs a bag load of tokens is what he needs.
• 8:45
  Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
• 8:46
  Speaker 1: Exactly Okay.
• 8:47
Speaker 1: So then we go to Yocum, and then we go on to Shiner, and then we're headed to New Braunfels.
• 8:53
Speaker 4: Yes, and around the Batway, yep, we'll go through another small town, moulton.
• 8:58
Speaker 4: Moulton, yep, and then we'll go a back road to Gonzalez.
• 9:06
Speaker 1: Isn't Moulton a Polish or a Czech community?
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: I?
• 9:11
Speaker 1: Believe it's Czech yeah yeah, Because I way back when I was just a itty bitty, teeny weeny little boy.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: I worked with some guys from Moulton and I believe that they were Czech yeah.
• 9:25
Speaker 3: Get some good Kamosa and things.
• 9:26
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: So, and then we go to New Braunfels, right, right, and are we doing the drive-in movie this year?
• 9:37
Speaker 4: Yes, we are, we are doing the drive-in movie.
• 9:39
Speaker 4: And hopefully we don't have some big nasty thunderstorm.
• 9:43
Speaker 2: No, there's gonna be beautiful weather.
• 9:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, guaranteed we ordered it.
• 9:47
Speaker 2: We ordered it special.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: Good, good, Hopefully it doesn't go through.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: So we spend the night in New Braunfels and we get up the next morning.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: We all gather up somewhere and then head out again.
• 9:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, and before the drive-in we're gonna make another stop at Samson's Performance and Restoration.
• 10:03
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 10:05
  Speaker 2: You guys enjoy.
• 10:06
Speaker 2: Oh, they've got some amazing bills that are going on right now.
• 10:09
  Speaker 2: It's a.
• 10:10
Speaker 2: We were there just last weekend for their open house amazing shop.
• 10:14
Speaker 1: Well, I have to tell you that that interview that I did with one of the boys there that took, yeah, that got lots of hits.
• 10:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, the clean room, the engine room.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: And so I don't know what they were gonna do.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: Mr Mars is gonna line all that stuff up.
• 10:28
Speaker 3: Hopefully we can take full advantage of it.
• 10:31
Speaker 3: They've got a lot of stuff there to talk about.
• 10:32
  Speaker 3: Yeah, they do.
• 10:34
Speaker 2: It is really amazing.
• 10:35
Speaker 2: They've got some fabulous bills going on there.
• 10:38
Speaker 1: You know I was gonna say I know that you got everything in order this year, but I thought you know we need to head out there toward iron resurrection sometime, because you know they live out in the sticks out there.
• 10:51
Speaker 2: We were there this morning.
• 10:52
Speaker 2: They were closed up sleeping in.
• 10:54
Speaker 1: I guess we were there this morning, well you know, I would imagine that the only time that they work on the weekends is when they're doing a video shoot out there, and because, to my experience, I can tell you that when the video guys are there, they work long hours and, as you can imagine, All right.
• 11:13
Speaker 2: so We've scouted that location out as a potential stop for the tour, but there's just not nearly enough parking.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: Correct, I would imagine that would be the case.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: But you know, I was thinking maybe a drive-by wave or something just to say that we were there.
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: Yeah, but anyway.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: So that's going to be out of new Braunfels and we're going to go to Samson garage, and then where do we go?
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: Then the drive-in.
• 11:37
Speaker 2: Then the drive-in, now before the drive-in, at the drive-in we're going to show Smokey and the Bandit this year, the original Smokey and the Bandit.
• 11:43
Speaker 2: Very nice, we're going to do a best car any car that was in Smokey and the Bandit contest and best costume, so you can dress up as any character in Smokey and the Bandit.
• 11:56
Speaker 2: I want to be.
• 11:58
Speaker 1: I know I don't fit the profile, but I want to be Buford T.
• 12:01
Speaker 3: Just no, no, no, no.
• 12:02
Speaker 3: I thought you were going to be the bride Sally Fields, the bride, the bride.
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: I think I'd be.
• 12:08
Speaker 3: I could pull that off.
• 12:09
Speaker 3: I could be the bride.
• 12:11
Speaker 3: You could Throw the dress out, the teal, you got the walk.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: At the teatop and I've got the teatop and you got the walk.
• 12:19
Speaker 2: You can sashay to the we got some really cool stuff we're going to give away there on those costume contest and the best car.
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: That's awesome.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: Well, that's good to know.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: So, as all of this stuff listed on the hot rod tour of Texas site.
• 12:33
Speaker 2: It is on the side and it's when you go into get your tickets is also there if you go to our website that the hot rod tour of Texas comm website and join the tour.

• 12:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, you have, you have.
• 12:50
Speaker 3: okay, we got you, because I know I sent my dang money in yeah, and Mike and I are tag-alongs for the show to process, so we'll be there as well.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, cuz I mean I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna have to buy my dress.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to buy my dress before I get on the road, because I'm not gonna have time to stop at some costume shop or some dress shop and buy it.
• 13:10
Speaker 2: My wife will probably loan you one.
• 13:13
Speaker 1: Great, great, all right Well all right so.
• 13:16
Speaker 1: Saturday so so Saturday we're heading up to Fred Ricksburg.
• 13:22
Speaker 4: Yes, yes, saturday we will meet at Gateway, like we did last year.
• 13:27
Speaker 4: Yep, from there we'll work our way to dripping Springs, to speeding Springs.
• 13:32
Speaker 4: We got to stop there.
• 13:34
Speaker 4: Okay, you remember speeding Springs now.
• 13:39
Speaker 2: He didn't make speeding Springs, I don't think last.
• 13:41

• 13:46
Speaker 2: Nope, nope, what's speeding?
• 13:47
Speaker 2: Springs and dripping Springs, Texas.
• 13:50
Speaker 1: Okay, well, I guess I don't know whether I made it, lost it, I don't know what I did.
• 13:54
Speaker 4: Well, they got a new venue there.
• 13:55
Speaker 4: They got, I believe, at 10,000 square foot, about 10,000 square foot loaded with cars.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: Oh, yes, I made that that's out in the countryside when we went down that funky road.
• 14:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, we were gonna.
• 14:08
Speaker 1: Nobody would ever find that.
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: Place it.
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: I don't care whether it's on a map or not.
• 14:12
Speaker 1: You'd never find it unless you were behind somebody.
• 14:15
Speaker 2: Well, now, now, the building that we went to there when you went with us is Really small compared to what they've got now.
• 14:21
Speaker 2: Okay they've got that building and two other buildings, but the other building is a massive, about a 10,000 square foot all-wood structure.
• 14:28
  Speaker 2: Beautiful.
• 14:30
  Speaker 1: Branding.
• 14:30
Speaker 1: Well good, I'm looking forward to that.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: Now Do I have a reserved Spot in line so I can?
• 14:38
Speaker 1: I can get behind somebody and not lose them and lose my way.
• 14:43
Speaker 2: Just get right up against the yellow banana.
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: Yellow banana okay.
• 14:48
Speaker 3: You're used to that, you know.
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: I, I'm thinking you know.
• 14:54
Speaker 1: I don't know how to really Reply to that, but just make sure your, your new camera, is facing forward, not to the interior.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: Well, actually it's, it's a forward and a rearward facing camera.
• 15:04
Speaker 1: So I got it covered, all right.
• 15:07
Speaker 1: So then I do.
• 15:09
Speaker 1: I think I hope so then we then.
• 15:12
Speaker 1: Then are we headed to Fred Ricksburg?

• 15:24
  Speaker 1: I'm about 20 miles away.
• 15:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's on curvil.

• 15:30
  Speaker 1: I can't stone, stone wall.
• 15:35
Speaker 4: That's where I'm staying in stone.
• 15:36

• 15:42
Speaker 1: I have to tell you the hotel that I've got booked.
• 15:45
Speaker 1: I understand that after I booked mine they weren't letting people do just a one night or you had to buy a book two nights, but yeah but they haven't found that out.
• 15:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, they haven't canceled it and the hotel looks like Schitt's Creek.
• 15:58
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: You're familiar with that with the show Schitt's Creek.
• 16:02
