- 0:10military has struck more than 50 ISIS targets in the past two hours.
- 0:14Coast to coast and around the world from the America Out Loud Talk Radio Studios.
- 0:19Following the president's order to quote, hit them hard after the killing of three Americans Saturday.
- 0:24It's time for the truth be told with Booker Scott.
- 0:28We start this hour having to report another six American service people have been killed.
- 0:33This one was over Iraq, and it was a refueling KC 135.
- 0:39We continue to have the thoughts and prayers of ourselves for our military that is in harm's way tonight.
- 0:45I'm Booker Scott.
- 0:47This is The Truth Be Told.
- 0:48As always on Monday, we are joined with Matt Palumbo here.
- 0:52Matt, it's Mondays with Matt, and welcome back.
- 0:54You missed last week.
- 0:56So glad to have you back.
- 0:57Very good to be back.
- 0:58How was Albania, by the way?
- 1:00You know, I got a text message.
- 1:02I get a text message from you that says I've been summoned to Albania.
- 1:08What did you say?
- 1:09You're like, that's the only time anyone's ever said that.
- 1:11Yeah, no one has ever said I got summoned to Albania before.
- 1:15But that's what I got from you.
- 1:16And anyway, welcome back to the country.
- 1:18And how was your trip?
- 1:20It was good.
- 1:20I mean, it was mainly just to um because of the uh by the book I'm writing about the country um and their first president.
- 1:27So it was just related to that.
- 1:28So I didn't really get to do um, you know, much exploring or anything.
- 1:33I just kind of went for walks when I have like a free hour here and there, but that was really all.
- 1:37But it it was it was a lot of fun.
- 1:39I'll probably be back uh the summer with my family this time and uh get to explore more freely.
- 1:44I am glad to have you back.
- 1:45I flew solo last week, so let's get into it.
- 1:48We have a lot to talk about.
- 1:50You have the Iranian conflict, war, whatever you want to call it.
- 1:54It doesn't seem like uh the people on social media really understand what is going on.
- 1:59My son, he is about your age, and he keeps texting me.
- 2:03Are we losing the war because of the social media that he sees?
- 2:06And I'm like, don't believe those lies because that is not reality.
- 2:10Again, we have seen military precision taking place in Iran.
- 2:14We have decapitated the leadership, not once, but twice, and maybe even got a third of the next guy.
- 2:21They said his leg was amputated.
- 2:22I don't think that was true.
- 2:24We don't know for sure.
- 2:25And then there was the rumor going around that Netanyahu had been killed.
- 2:30And I said that's not true either.
- 2:31And then Netanyahu came out Sunday and said, No, I'm fine, I'm right here.
- 2:35So you have to be real careful in what you are taking in right now.
- 2:39Overall, though, I think the military is doing an incredible job here.
- 2:43Well, I mean, we've killed their so-called supreme leader who is rolling with an iron fist, and then basically all of his subsequent replacements, and now it's I believe his son in charge, but he released a statement um that was just a written statement.
- 2:58He hasn't been seen on camera or in public, so he clearly is living in fear, knowing it's very likely he's gonna be killed the second he appears.
- 3:07So um, I I don't think anyone on our side is in that situation.
- 3:11So if we had a that was the only detail we knew when we had to say which side is winning, I would say the one where you know the the side who's a leader doesn't want to be seen in public is probably the losing side.
- 3:23I would think so too.
- 3:24And he does not want to be seen.
- 3:26If I were him, I wouldn't want to be seen either, because it would probably be the end of me.
- 3:31The big news over the weekend was the bombing of carg, the island there that sits about 18 miles off the Iranian coast there near the Strait of Hormuz, which is another part of the story that we'll get into here in a few minutes.
- 3:44But this was strategic bombing of military bases there on that island.
- 3:49The island is very important, isn't it, Matt?
- 3:52Uh well, yes.
- 3:53I mean, I believe it's not like 20% or so of our um you know oil and natural gas is traveling through there of the world's rather.
- 4:01Yeah, that's through the whore moves.
- 4:02The Strait of Horror moves.
- 4:03Yeah.
- 4:04Yep.
- 4:04And then also, I mean, even countries like China have a stake in keeping that open.
- 4:08Obviously, Iran is trying to keep it shut in retaliation.
- 4:11Although I did see a statement recently where they claims we're only shutting it for America and Israel.
- 4:17I don't know, you know, if they're if they're actually going to enforce it that way, but I I guess you know, for oil prices, it would be technically preferable if only we were excluded.
- 4:27But uh, you know, I don't think that's actually going to stand in that you know, they can say that, but they also have to enforce it.
- 4:33And we have a Navy that Trump said, or Trump at least flow to the idea of the Navy escorting ships.
- 4:40And one of the reasons we have a military as large as we have is to maintain um, you know, harmony on the seas to enforce trade routes and that kind of thing.
- 4:51It's a major benefit, probably to the trillions of dollars a year that is kind of this unseen benefit of the military that a lot of people just don't even realize or will forget about.
- 5:01So I, you know, I I was in researching um the straight of our moves about trying to become an expert on it within a week.
- 5:08Uh you know, the question I wondered is well, why don't we just take it over?
- 5:12And I the only video I found on YouTube trying to explain why we couldn't, uh I thought failed to make the case.
- 5:18I mean, I Iran's military and their capabilities are going down on a daily basis.
- 5:24They don't really have leadership.
- 5:27And we have the biggest military in the world by quite a large margin.
- 5:32So I just I it it's you know, there is the mildest solution will just be our our military escorting ships through.
- 5:39The most radical would be us taking it over.
- 5:41But I don't know.
- 5:42I I don't think it's gonna be an issue as big an issue as people think it is.
- 5:46Let's go back and visit that island carg that was bombed over the weekend because a ninety eighty-five-90% of the oil that Iran produces is done there.
- 5:58What Donald Trump and the U.S.
- 5:59military did was strategically bomb military assets of Iran there on that island.
- 6:05And they sent a message there saying, if we did that here, we can do this to your oil.
- 6:11We don't want to.
- 6:12We don't want to do that to your oil because if you remember, Donald Trump got upset at Netanyahu in Israel last weekend when he bombed the refining facility there in Iran.
- 6:21Donald Trump doesn't really want to do that.
- 6:23But when it comes to CARG, so much of that oil, that 80-90%, is sent to Asian countries.
- 6:30And the main one is China, but there is also Japan, who is our ally.
- 6:35There's North Korea, who, by the way, was uh sending rockets again.
- 6:39We haven't heard anything from Rocket Man in a while.
- 6:41But suddenly he he did about 10 missiles over the weekend.
- 6:45CARG is very important, and I have seen some talk on you know, Fox and News Nation and other ones, where these very you know, smart generals are saying we should siege it and seize CARG.
- 7:00And then you have to wonder about the Marines and the expeditionary force that are on their way over there that will probably be there in a week.
- 7:07Is that the purpose of the Marines?
- 7:09Are they going to do that?
- 7:10And if they do, is that a good idea?
- 7:13I'm not so sure that it is.
- 7:15Yeah, I don't know like for the strategic, you know, perspective, whether that is a good idea.
- 7:19I mean, I I think it'll be a successful mission, but the obvious question is how many casualties are we willing to tolerate for that?
- 7:27And uh, you know, I tend to err as close to zero as possible.
- 7:31Uh at least I know that's not realistic and being utopian, but uh, you know, when there are other alternatives, uh, I would I would say that.
- 7:39Um now in the past, whenever Trump has placed ships near a country, it's been for the most obvious reason.
- 7:47Um, you know, remember leading up to the Venice when we took Maduro, we had some ships on the coastline, and Trump was asked why did you park them there?
- 7:55And he he tells the interviewer, well, they have to be parked somewhere.
- 7:59And it was, you know, a whole area's answer because we all knew the real and the real reason they were there, and that was seen in the future weeks, but it was the same with Iran.
- 8:07We send a parking ships on the you know, uh on the coast ahead of uh us taking out their their so-called supreme leader.
- 8:14And uh, you know, it's uh the the simplest explanation is is the true one, usually uh what when it comes to uh the I guess Trump setting ships to a certain area.
- 8:24I think everybody has to be careful in what they hear, what they believe when they hear things and when things are reported.
- 8:30There's a lot of artificial intelligence that's being used here.
- 8:33By the way, um Iran hacked striker medical, which has about 50,000 employees.
- 8:40They did that last Thursday.
- 8:41It has caused a lot of problems with that company.
- 8:44That's something we're gonna have to watch for, as well as the couple of bombings that we'll talk about a little bit later that took place last weekend.
- 8:51Keep your head on a swivel out there, because it's a time now that some of those gotta ways may, you know, come back and get us, or at least try to.
- 9:00Donald Trump is talking about negotiating, and he says that Iran wants a deal.
- 9:06Do you think that there is any validity to him saying that, or is there something else, another reason why Donald Trump is saying that Iran wants a deal?
- 9:15Uh, well, you know, that you know, it is in Trump character for Trump that no matter what is happening, it's working out.
- 9:21Um, I mean, I I think in this case it actually is.
- 9:24Um, as to whether or not they want a deal.
- 9:26I mean, their public uh persona or their their public messaging does not really suggest that.
- 9:31It suggests a defiant Iran, but it is entirely possible that in private they you know are not completely delusional of the circumstances they're in.
- 9:40Um, that being said, I was I was reading up on their new leader, the Ayatollah's son.
- 9:44Um, you know, the one who will not be seen in public, and it everything about him seems to be that he is more radical than his father was.
- 9:52He is um ultra conservative in you know, I'm using conservative in in the context of um uh you know.
- 10:00Devotion to Islam.
- 10:01A literalist, I should say, might be a better word to use.
- 10:04But is very radical in those regards.
- 10:07So he has an ideologically motivated guy.
- 10:10And when your enemy is someone who believes that paradise awaits them if they fling out and die while trying to kill you, they are a harder opponent to reason with.
- 10:21Yeah.
- 10:21Let's go to this sound here.
- 10:23We're talking about Donald Trump saying that Iran, yeah, they want a deal.
- 10:27They want a deal.
- 10:28The Iran foreign minister was on Face the Nation over the weekend.
- 10:31Here is that exchange.
- 10:33President Trump said this weekend he is not ready to make a deal with Iran because the terms aren't good enough yet.
- 10:42His administration is saying this war could last another three and a half weeks or so.
- 10:48Has Iran asked for a ceasefire?
- 10:51No, we never asked for a ceasefire.
- 10:53And we have never asked even for negotiation.
- 10:57We are ready to defend ourselves as long as it takes.
- 11:01And uh this is what we have done so far, and we continue to do that until President Trump comes to the point that this is an illegal war with no uh victory.
- 11:16And uh, you know, uh there are you know, people being killed only because Trump wants to have fun.
- 11:30This is what he has said.
- 11:32Have fun?
- 11:33We are not yes, this is what he said that they are sinking uh, you know, ships uh targeting different places because it is fun.
- 11:43Uh and uh uh the Secretary of War has said that there is no uh no mercy.
- 11:54Uh and this is actually a war crime.
- 11:57Even even saying that is a war crime.
- 12:00So this is a war this is a war of choice by President Trump uh and the United States, and we are going to uh continue our self-defense.
- 12:10Until they can't.
- 12:11And how close are they to that?
- 12:13It seems like they're pretty close to the point of not being able to defend themselves.
- 12:18Missiles are becoming less and less every day into Israel and into the other uh Gulf Arab nations.
- 12:24I think they're running out of ammunition, Matt.
- 12:28Uh, both literally and figuratively.
- 12:30I uh I I hadn't seen that clip, so I'm I'm I'm glad he didn't contradict what I was saying right beforehand.
- 12:35Uh uh No, it was hilarious that even Margaret Brennan, I assume that was who was speaking, was shocked when he said we got bombed for fun.
- 12:44Right.
- 12:44Like Trump just like, all right, guys, we're bored the Saturday.
- 12:47What are we gonna do?
- 12:48Uh bomb Iran.
- 12:49Sounds good.
- 12:51I don't know.
- 12:52It will be hilarious if that's in the history books.
- 12:54So you know, that that was the cause was Trump and Heggs with getting bored one weekend.
- 12:57Obviously, it's it's not, but it was uh it is funny that he floated that as a reason.
- 13:02And like I said, don't believe anything that's coming out of Iran at all.
- 13:06Question everything that's coming out of the Pentagon and the United States of America.
- 13:10Well you have that right, and you should.
- 13:12Yeah, and he he was I mean, they were killing tens of thousands of their people and blocking internet access, so the information couldn't get out of the country leading up to this.
- 13:21So for them to claim like they're in any way concerned with the loss of human life is obviously laughable.
- 13:26Um they I mean they're they're killing their own civilians, so I don't know who they exactly do care about.
- 13:31Uh when it comes to it, and you were kind of hinting at this earlier um about misinformation, like we have the fog of war plus AI now, and there are uh a depressingly large number of people that have no antibodies to uh or or any uh detection or any ability to detect when something is AI.
- 13:51Um it's gotten to the point where I've seen people post video game footage and try to pass it off as actual war footage, and it was going viral.
- 13:59So it is uh sad to see how quickly a lot of misinformation is spreading here.
- 14:04But you you are right, there are narratives that uh secretly Israel is cowering uh in in response to the retaliation, or uh Netanyahu wasn't seen for a day, so therefore he must be dead.
- 14:16Uh just a lot of craziness, and and most of the time the rule is just give it a day or two, and the truth will normally usually reveal itself.
- 14:23Yeah, let the dust settle.
- 14:24Just let the dust settle.
- 14:26You don't have to jump on everything as soon as you hear about it.
- 14:29Use your discernment.
- 14:30And that brings me to the FCC and Chairman Carr, who is threatening networks and other media outlets for reporting fake news.
- 14:40What do you think about that?
- 14:41Because the left has come unglued about it.
- 14:43Well, you know, it would have to be deliberately spreading fake news.
- 14:48And the reason I say deliberate is just because, you know, there are if you're reporting, let's just say you and I are reporting a thousand stories a year, just by random chance.
- 15:00There's gonna be one or two that kind of fly under our radar where we missed, you know, we we spread misinformation that was later corrected or appeared true at the time but turned out not to be.
- 15:13You know, even if we put me in a good faith effort in every single story to verify, like just by chance, one in so many you're gonna miss, or your your BS meter just didn't go off that day, and it's gonna be a total accident.
- 15:25And if you you know, prosecute every single person pushes a fake story, uh it really condenses the amount of reporting you're really going to see.
- 15:36Um that being said, uh, you know, when when it was stories like the Russia collusion hoax, uh, you know, or um, you know, the them them trying to debunk Hunter Biden's laptop, they clearly were knowingly lying.
- 15:52Um they clearly were acting in that faith.
- 15:54They were deliberately soliciting the opinions of so-called experts to spread misinformation.
- 16:00So, you know, in those like huge narratives that have dominated media cycles, uh I think there is a case to prosecute that or go after them because it required fake news and then fake news on top of fake news, and then fake experts to uh to give credibility to the prior fake news and so on and so forth.
- 16:19Um so yeah, that's how I would say it.
- 16:22You know, I I think go after like the the big guns there when it comes to that.
- 16:26Well, let's go to ABC News and let's go to James Longman.
- 16:29He reported from inside Iran because some of the information that we're not getting is how the Iranian people actually feel about what's going on, what America and Israel is doing in their country.
- 16:41Seventy-five percent of the population of Iran, they don't want the regime.
- 16:4525% of them are supportive of the regime, but 75% is a lot of 90 million.
- 16:51The only way that we're actually going to see regime change is from the inside, not from Donald Trump and not from Netanyahu.
- 16:59It's gonna have to be from that 75% of the 90,000.
- 17:02So what are they saying?
- 17:04Because they have no internet.
- 17:05The regime shut down the internet as soon as this started.
- 17:08So we're not getting any information from there.
- 17:11But James Longman of ABC News, he did, and here is his report.
- 17:15It was around 1 a.m.
- 17:17Uh, all the people in my neighborhood, they were screaming, they were shouting, and you know I it was like uh a celebration, and everybody was shouting get homeney, and uh we were so happy.
- 17:32Those who sent messages of us their names not be used and some voices altered for their safety.
- 17:37As war descended on Iran, the regime once again cut off internet and communications across the country, controlling its people and silencing their messages of resilience.
- 17:47We check the news, we uh try to keep the connection uh to the satellite TVs uh and by the phone, although we we are in uh total blackout, and um the slightest uh connection that we have is very unsecure.
- 18:07Everybody all around Tehran has heard and felt the wave and the sound of explosion that was very big, very enormous, uh almost like an earthquake.
- 18:26But I can say the sound it keeps us going.
- 18:32We are grateful for this opportunity, and we are waiting for the day that we can go out to the streets and get back our country.
- 18:42They are waiting for the day that they can go out into the streets and get back their country that has been taken from them since 1979, and that's what a lot of this is about, isn't it?
- 18:55Yeah, and um, you know, when we say like one in four support the regime, you also have to account for the fact that you know there are gonna be people who say they do because they think they're gonna get killed if they were to say otherwise, or we found out.
- 19:06So it's probably far less than that.
- 19:08The country is um, you know, far more the public is far more secular than you expect in an Islamic theocracy.
- 19:15There has been um, you know, rebellion against the mandatory hijab in recent years.
- 19:20Um this was all a long time coming, and Trump has learned from the mistakes of the sort of neoconservative wing of our party that has pushed regime change where we handpick um uh a replacement, and that oftentimes goes wrong for reasons that are foreseeable or not foreseeable.
- 19:38Um Trump has learned that you know from the mistakes that we've made in Iraq and Afghanistan, and you know, in Venezuela, it seems like he's kind of gonna let it be the same people in charge, but we're gonna be pulling the strings, and you know, we might even let them rhetorically criticize Trump in the US, but it's just gonna say the face in Iran.
- 19:56He indicated that the um those who are protesting the
- 20:00Street should be the people who who take over the government, which would be um, you know, uh it would be uh you have some symbolic um I just say you know, it would be uh phrase it.
- 20:14Uh, you're gonna have to cut this a little bit.
- 20:15Well, let me let me just jump in here and help you out a little bit because uh in order for a regime change to take place, it's gonna have to take some ground troops, and it's not gonna be American, it's not gonna be Israeli.
- 20:28I believe it's gonna be the Kurds.
- 20:29I read over the weekend that the Kurds are ready.
- 20:32They are waiting for Donald Trump to say, yep, let's go ahead and do it.
- 20:35You have to remember that the Kurds helped out in Iraq and they were instrumental in that, and there are Kurds within Iran, and you have to arm the people, the those people that you just heard there in that audio clip, they have to be armed to enable and enabled to uh do this regime change.
- 20:52So that's what we'll wait on.
- 20:53I think it's coming.
- 20:54We're gonna tie together a few of the things that you just did with Iran, Venezuela, and into Cuba.
- 21:00We're gonna do that here in just a minute.

- 22:57Welcome into Mondays with Matt here on The Truth Be Told.
- 23:01I'm Booker Scott with Matt Palumbo.
- 23:03You can see Matt as a Fox News contributor, also a Newsmax contributor.
- 23:07He's written 11 books.
- 23:08Go to Amazon, put his name in there, Matt Palumbo, and pick out one of his 11 books there.
- 23:14You can find Spygate that he wrote with Dan Bongino.
- 23:17You can find The Man Behind the Curtain about George Soros and his newest book, The Air about Alex Sorrell.
- 23:23So there's a few of them you can pick from.
- 23:25Also, fact-checking the fact checkers is another one of those.
- 23:28Yeah, it is a classic, of course.
- 23:30You wrote it.
- 23:31Let's get it back into the cop what you were just talking about.
- 23:34I think there is something to the way Donald Trump did Venezuela.
- 23:38Everybody thought that he was going to go in there and topple the government, and he didn't.
- 23:42He kept the vice president who was actually handpicked by Maduro to take the place of him.
- 23:48And so far, that seems to be working.
- 23:50I don't know that maybe she has no choice but to work.
- 23:53And as long as that's the case, I think it's working.
- 23:56We look over to Cuba, and it seems like Cuba is ready to topple.
- 24:00We have talked about it, but it's been about a month or so since we have.
- 24:03It seems like it's getting really close.
- 24:05They have no energy there.
- 24:06I saw a video on social media claiming to be showing protesters setting the uh communist party headquarters on fire.
- 24:13Um hopefully I'm not falling for AI.
- 24:17I was about to say about five minutes ago, but I I I it yeah, it does seem like that could be the next domino to fall.
- 24:24Um and we've been sort of hinting at that since Venezuela anyway.
- 24:28The thing is, there probably half a countries on the planet.
- 24:32We could just take over within a week if we really felt like it.
- 24:36So, you know, Cuba really does not stand a chance at all.
- 24:39Um we're we're gonna have uh a bay of pigs invasion, but with competent people.
- 24:45Yeah.
- 24:46Well, I think you made a good point a few minutes ago, where I think Donald Trump has learned from our history in the Middle East and other places that a true regime change by our picking and the way we would like to do it, it just doesn't work.
- 25:00So here's Peter Ducy from Fox News.
- 25:02He's talking about the connection between Maduro, Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran.
- 25:07Here is this piece.
- 25:08And based on what President Trump is saying tonight, it would seem like it's only going to be a matter of time before something big happens with Cuba.
- 25:16But something else that we are are seeing, every one sentence quote that President Trump gives to a different outlet is the impact that the success of the Maduro raid in January had on his world view.
- 25:28Of course, this is a president who became popular and around the time of the 2016 primaries, criticizing previous Republicans for getting entangled into long-running Middle Eastern wars.
- 25:40But after being able to go into Venezuela, take the leader out and then have a hand in what happens next.
- 25:47The president seems very encouraged to try to replicate that in places like Iran.
- 25:51That is why he is telling Axios today the following.
- 25:54They are wasting their time.
- 25:56Comedy's son is a lightweight.
- 25:58I have to be involved in the appointment, like with Dulce Rodriguez in Venezuela.
- 26:03And then with this Cuba uh situation, he says Cuba's going to fall too.
- 26:09We cut off all oil, all money, or we cut off everything coming in from Venezuela, which was the sole source, and they want to make a deal.
- 26:17And they also want to make a deal in Cuba.
- 26:20It's just a matter of time.
- 26:21Here's my question coming out of that piece and our conversation here on Donald Trump going for regime changes that some people call it that.
- 26:30In Venezuela, Cuba, and also right now in Iran.
- 26:34Do you think Venezuela emboldened Donald Trump to make the move in Iran and then will also end Cuba?
- 26:41Well, yes.
- 26:41I mean, the Venezuela mission was so successful, it almost sounds funny to describe it.
- 26:46But it's like, all right, so what here's what we did.
- 26:49We um we had a after a foreign president, so we showed up at his house and picked him up and then nuked his predecessor's grave for the hell of it.
- 26:58The end.
- 26:59Like it I don't I don't know how it could have possibly gone any better.
- 27:02It couldn't have.
- 27:03And I think it did embolden him to do these things.
- 27:06And in some ways, it's taking his eye off the domestic things that need to be worked on going into a midterm coming up this year.
- 27:14It's gonna be very interesting.
- 27:16I think we're I think this war has to end this conflict or whatever you want to call it in Iran.
- 27:21It it needs to end pretty quickly.
- 27:23They are saying he four to five weeks from the start of it.
- 27:26Uh who knows?
- 27:27Uh, here's Pete Hegseth on Whore Moose on the Strait of Hormouth.
- 27:30We were talking about it earlier.
- 27:32Here's a little more on that with Secretary of War, Pete Hegzass.
- 27:36You have said that the U.S.
- 27:37military has essentially uh aerial superiority, naval superior over Iran.
- 27:41Yet we're not escorting ships to the Strait of Hormuth.
- 27:45Why?
- 27:45How did you not plan for this?
- 27:48We we plan for it.
- 27:49Why aren't we?
- 27:49We recognize it.
- 27:51Um because ultimately uh we want to do it sequentially in a way that makes the most sense for what we want to achieve, and ensure that we're we're sending the right signals uh to the world when we do so.
- 28:02So when Chris Wright speaks or we speak, it's based on a full assessment of of what we're what we're up against, what we want to say to the world, how that we want them to see and understand the conflict.
- 28:11It's like this whole idea of the war widening.
- 28:13That's what the press wants to make it look like, like it's widening in chaos and so no, we're actually closing in on grabbing hold of and controlling what what objectives we want to achieve and how we want to achieve them.
- 28:25And Matt, I think that's an important point right there, because you see this in the mainstream media, you see this on the left that we didn't have any plans for the Strait of Horror moves.
- 28:35We didn't think about it.
- 28:36Of course, they thought about it.
- 28:38I I saw General Kellogg on uh March 5th on Fox News on the Will Kane Show.
- 28:44He was talking about that carg island that we talked about earlier in the hour.
- 28:48They obviously have thought about it, but I think it's important for people to hear what he just said there that we are messaging a certain way.
- 28:56We're doing things a certain way, the way that we want to do them, because I think a lot of people are missing that point.
- 29:02Yeah, it was good.
- 29:03And you can even tell the um uh the reporter, at least from the sound of what you played, did seem like he was trying to become uh be argumentative uh with Hag Seth and the way he was presenting it.
- 29:13So I'm I was satisfying to see uh him shut him down and say, no, of course we thought of this.
- 29:18Yeah, let's finish up with this clip.
- 29:20Here is Pete Hagsack.
- 29:21It's called shaping operations and setting the conditions.
- 29:23But when you shape the environment, you don't always tell, I mean, foolish political leaders and foolish military leaders of the past will hang an exact deadline on it.
- 29:32Or here's exactly when we'll do what we're gonna do, or here's how long it's gonna take us.
- 29:36And then if you meet that, uh maybe you meet it.
- 29:39But if you don't, you fail.
- 29:40And if you're far beyond, we know exactly what we're shaping and why.
- 29:43We're sending those signals working across the interagency.
- 29:45The Strait of Horror Moose is something we've paid attention to from the beginning.
- 29:48Uh, and the American people can rest assured, uh, we will ensure that our interests are advanced.
- 29:53So they knew about the Strait of Horror moves from the beginning.
- 29:56Obviously, they knew about it, but that's another one of those things that the left is.
- 30:00Uh trying to do that's trying to change a narrative and make people feel like things aren't going so well in Iran.
- 30:07Uh yeah, pretty much.
- 30:08And you know, just despite the fact that I do think things are going well, it is in our best interest to try to wrap this up as soon as possible.
- 30:15Um the polling seems to indicate it's Republicans are on board, but independents are wary of it, and um you know, listen, when we voted for Trump, obviously we wanted to minimize foreign entanglements.
- 30:27I I am glad that the ones that are happening, though, haven't um you know, have been going pretty well.
- 30:32Well, if Donald Trump didn't do it, they probably would have never been done.
- 30:36And all three of them should have been done.
- 30:39It's one of those things too, where you have to consider the counterfactual, where if we did nothing now, well, it may require even more intervention down the road.
- 30:48Or they would never do it.
- 30:50I mean, Biden and Obama, you know, they were appeasing Iran for all of those years.
- 30:55They had no intentions of ever doing what Donald Trump is doing right now, and it needed to be done for the world.
- 31:02Yeah, I mean, like, you know, better to do it now than you know to prevent them from having a nuclear bomb and to wait for them to have it and then have to navigate that.
- 31:10Are you keeping up with Tucker Carlson and what's going on?
- 31:14Is it something else?
- 31:15Really, I really, you know, when Tucker got kicked off Fox, my first thought was well, this is gonna be cool because you know he's gonna start his own thing and he's gonna do all this cool reporting that Fox and the mainstream media wouldn't let him do.
- 31:28And it turns out those stories are just like schizophrenic nonsense for state media.
- 31:33It's it's really sad to see.
- 31:34And and I know um Gregory Reeve was a guy who wrote all of Tucker's monologues, and I I think we just like Greg the whole time.
- 31:44I don't know if it was really Tucker.
- 31:46It seems like Tucker's either lost the plot, they the only alternative is that Tucker is some sort of double agent where he's like pretending to be friendly with these third world regimes, but he's just collecting dirt on them for our administration.
- 32:00But I don't know, it is very sad to see.
- 32:02He's just kind of gone into every conspiracy avenue.
- 32:05He even did like a 9-11 truth thing recently.
- 32:08Like it's every little conspiracy he he's uh diving into, and it's it's sad to see.
- 32:13And he said over the weekend that the CIA is reading his text messages.
- 32:18Yeah, that's that he is nuts at this point.
- 32:20I don't think he's collecting dirt though, Matt.
- 32:23I think he's collecting big paychecks from Kyle.
- 32:26Correct.
- 32:26No, I was I was just kind of half joking that because people were saying, like, you know, he um uh people were joking saying, like, you know, he's Trump had um invited him to the White House and he he's been in those circles recently, and they were joking like maybe they were they were feeding him fake information on Iran to spread with them so that our our uh military operations would be more successful, and it was a tug-in-cheek, but uh that was the gist of it.
- 32:50Well, it sounds like Trump has done away with Tucker Carlson now, as well as Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 32:56I do believe that the CIA probably was looking into his messages because there are there is probably a case for him um that he probably should have registered for Farah, the the foreign agent uh agents registration act.
- 33:11Whereas if you are um you know uh advancing a foreign interest knowingly uh in the U.S., which he is with a lot of these people, um, it is something you have to register for.
- 33:22The only way really he he could get around it is and this is what he probably will argue is uh I'm just a journalist letting people speak.
- 33:29Well, that's what he's already done.
- 33:30He's already said that.
- 33:32But look there, it but no normally it's not like the kind of thing you go to jail for because uh Ron uh Rhonda Santis is him with her exact role within his administration, and it's Christina Pouchaw.
- 33:44Uh but before working for DeSantis, she had done some consulting work for the president of Georgia, the the country.
- 33:51And this was not there's no attempt to hide it.
- 33:53Um it was it was work she had done publicly.
- 33:56Um, but a few years ago, I think the DOJ contacted her and told her, hey, you're gonna register for FARA, and it was just they met with her, she then paid you know, whatever the fee is, I think it's a couple hundred bucks, she registered, and that was it.
- 34:09So it's one of those things, crimes where they kind of just give you the chance to register after the fact, and that clears it up.
- 34:16So you know, if he does get a meeting with the DOJ, it's probably just gonna be, hey, you gotta disclose of this or else, but it it's not like they're gonna come in guns blazing and arrest them.
- 34:28I at least uh it wouldn't really make much sense.
- 34:31Plus, I don't think Trump would let that happen for obvious reasons.
- 34:34Well, let me go through Tucker Carlson's history, and you can follow the money here just like I did.
- 34:40MSNBC, CNN, Fox, and now Cotter.
- 34:43He says whatever someone is paying him to say.
- 34:47Does that make sense?
- 34:48Here's Pete Hexeth in one of those uh press conferences where he was asked about Tucker Carlson.
- 34:53Here's Pete Hexeth.
- 34:54And parts of the party, particularly from your fellow Fox News alum Tucker Carlson.
- 34:59He called the war disgusting and evil, and then set up unconditional surrender, which the president has called for means foreign troops get to rape your wives and daughters.
- 35:07Have you heard these comments?
- 35:08And what's your reaction to them?
- 35:10Um we're busy executing on behalf of great patriotic Americans with a clear mission.
- 35:14Uh that's 47 years overdue.
- 35:16Um we're gonna execute on that regardless of what people say about it.
- 35:19Hexeth did a good job there of skirting around that and not bringing in any more attention to it.
- 35:26However, the words there that Tucker Carlson uh talked about, he is talking about American troops raping uh in Iran.
- 35:32That's how far he gets.
- 35:36You know, doing that in retaliation to us.
- 35:39That's insane.
- 35:40Yeah, it is insane.
- 35:41Well, the Department of Homeland Security is not working because uh well, there's a government shutdown.
- 35:47Did you forget about that?
- 35:48It's been going on for weeks now.
- 35:50Federal employees missed their first paycheck last Friday, and we had some bad things happen last week.
- 35:57We had a couple of them on the same day.
- 35:58It happened on Thursday, one at Old Dominion University in Virginia, the other one at a synagogue in Michigan, West Bloomfield.
- 36:05Let's go to some sound and get some background on both of these stories here.
- 36:11Gazali's vehicle gets jammed between hallway walls, and he begins firing through the windshield of his vehicle.
- 36:19Ghazali and the first security officer engage in a gunfight through the rear window of Gonzalez vehicle.
- 36:26At this point, Gonzale is unable to extract himself due to the vehicle being jammed in the hallway.
- 36:33At approximately 1222 p.m., a second security officer engages Gonzali in a gunfight from the front of the vehicle.
- 36:41And soon thereafter, Gonzalez vehicle, his engine compartment catches on fire.
- 36:46And at some point during the gunfight, Gonzalez suffers a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
- 36:51And that was the one in Michigan.
- 36:54Yeah, and this guy, his name is his first name is Mohammed, by the way.
- 36:59So is the guy at Old Dominion University.
- 37:02What are the odds that a guy named Muhammad with a car full of explosives drives into a synagogue to kill a hundred kids in pre-K after millions of gataways came into this country?
- 37:14Matt, we talked about it years ago.
- 37:16We've been doing this together over two years now weekly, and we actually go back almost three years, but we have been talking about this the entire time that Joe Biden was president, that these things were going to happen, and they are happening now.
- 37:30And so now we have a couple of Mohammeds that have come in and done exactly what we said would.
- 37:35And it's it's not a big story for those of us that have paid attention to the last four or five years under Joe Biden with millions of these people coming into this country.
- 37:45And then within I believe it was within a week of those two.
- 37:48There was the case where that guy, um I think Jake Lang is his name.
- 37:52He's like a I mean, the term far right actually is accurate in this time to uh context to describe him, but he's like a provocateur, very anti-Islam.
- 38:00Um Jake has been on this show a few times, four times, I believe.
- 38:05Three times from the DC gulag when he was there as a J6 presidenter, and he actually text messaged me and wanted to come on the show the week that happened.
- 38:16He wanted to be able to do that.
- 38:17That's cool.
- 38:18I I stayed away from it.
- 38:19I didn't do it.
- 38:20I I did not do that interview.
- 38:21Okay, interesting.
- 38:23Uh, but yeah, but there's you know, uh it was a scene like out of a curb your enthusiasm episode where this liberal is doing a speech in front of him about how everyone is welcome here, and then some Muslim jumps up on him and throws a bomb over him.
- 38:37Um and fortunately it didn't go off.
- 38:39But we had we had three Islamic terror attacks in basically a week, week and a half, and we only lost one life.
- 38:45So they're getting they're they're sending us their worst terrorists, fortunately.
- 38:49Um, but still, you know, there's gotta be so many more in the country.
- 38:52And the one that attacked Jake Lang, I think was based in Pennsylvania.
- 38:56So we have ISIS cells in Pennsylvania, which is insane.
- 39:00And one of those that happened last Thursday, his brother was killed.
- 39:03He is a member of Hezbollah.
- 39:05He was killed by Israel in Lebanon.
- 39:07So there's the connection there.
- 39:09The point of all of this is uh keep your head on a swivel out there, be careful, pay attention to things.
- 39:15One more a couple of more things here I want to get onto before we get to the break about Iran, and that is the cost of gas.
- 39:22I noticed that gas here in Florida went from 275, 280 to 375 almost overnight, which to me seems ridiculous because I have done research on this before.
- 39:34From the ground to your gas tank takes six weeks.
- 39:38So in a war from uh uh ground to your gas tank takes about three days.
- 39:44I think they're gouging us here, but let's go to Chris Wright.
- 39:47It could be.
- 39:48Yeah, he is the energy secretary.
- 39:50He was on the weekend shows on Sunday.
- 39:52I believe this was Face the Nation.
- 39:54How long should Americans expect for gas prices to be high?
- 39:58Are we talking weeks?
- 39:59Are we talking
- 40:00Months or just don't know at this point.
- 40:02Yeah, I I think that this conflict will certainly come to the end in the next few weeks.
- 40:06Could could be sooner than that, but the conflict will come to the end in the next few weeks, and we'll see a rebound in supplies and a pushing down of prices after that.
- 40:15Um but yes, we were very aware, very aware that we would have short-term disruption.
- 40:21We would cause some uh we would cause a little bit of increased prices on Americans.
- 40:26Prices today are still far below what they were in the Biden administration, where they were begging, bartering and bribing Iran to to behave better.
- 40:36We we had five dollar gasoline in the middle of the Biden.
- 40:39Yeah, I don't think that this is a good point he's trying to make.
- 40:42I get what he's trying to say, and he's right, it was five dollars with Joe Biden at the height of that.
- 40:48Donald Trump, he campaigned on bringing the prices down, and just because they're a little bit less than they were when Joe Biden is, that's not a good reason.
- 40:57And people are going to lose the will to continue what's going on in Iran unless it's over quickly.
- 41:03I believe that it will end pretty quickly, though.
- 41:05Well, yes, I mean that's why it has to end soon because the you know, the more consequences for someone's day-to-day life, the more against what they're going to be.
- 41:12And yes, they're not going to view it in context of well, gas just went up, but thank God it's lower than it was two years ago.
- 41:19Is it gonna be in the context of what was it a week prior?
- 41:21People are you know that's how we view things.
- 41:23It's it was it's we're very short-term thinkers, unfortunately.
- 41:25But but the thing is too, though, like when the price is artificially high because of a decision that we made, you also then can't blame your predecessor.
- 41:34Um, the the good news is I think this is just gonna be a short term spike anyway, and it'll probably be well worth the cost, but it should not be something we draw out at all.
- 41:42Let's listen to Kevin has it.
- 41:44He is part of the Trump administration, and he also was talking over the weekend.
- 41:47I wanted to just say that the countries around them, they also suffer from the risk of having them go nuts and attack them.
- 41:54And so we expect that the global economy is gonna have a big positive shock as soon as this is over, and we're still being briefed that it would be four to six weeks from the beginning, and that we're ahead of schedule.
- 42:04A big positive shock, four to six weeks.
- 42:07So this is uh an April 9th scenario you're talking about.
- 42:10You're gonna see some kind of president will decide.
- 42:13The president will decide if they if they no longer have the capability of blackmailing us and harming our neighbors.
- 42:20And once he decides that, then he'll call an end to the war.
- 42:23That's a pretty broad definition.
- 42:26Well, we've destroyed their navy, we've destroyed their Air Force and so on.
- 42:29So I think that we're well on the way.
- 42:31The media just needs an answer, don't they?
- 42:33They want, okay, so this is all gonna be over April 9th.
- 42:36Well, nobody can answer that question.
- 42:38Have some patience, let the military do what they're doing, allow the president of the United States to make the decisions, and let's let this happen.
- 42:47Be patient with it.
- 42:48My favorite exchange was it was months ago, I think, when Trump was asked, like the reporter is very specific, like what's your plan for Iran?
- 42:57But was asking for like extreme specific things, and he just goes, Well, I wouldn't tell you.
- 43:01I'll remember that.
- 43:03And that's pretty much the answer.
- 43:04Like, what you think we're gonna take the whole world is watching everything he says.
- 43:08We're not gonna telegraph anything.
- 43:09In fact, if if Trump were ever going to publicly say his plan, he he would have to lie and say something else to throw them off.
- 43:16We have more of this conversation coming up in just a minute.

- 44:54Well, Matt, we ran a little longer on that segment, but we still have some time to cover some ground here.
- 45:00We're gonna leave Iran behind us now.
- 45:03We're gonna talk about the Save Act a little bit.
- 45:05It looks like the Save Act is going to come for a vote at the Senate this week.
- 45:10What do you think?
- 45:11How are they gonna do it?
- 45:12It doesn't sound like uh maybe the standing filibuster talking filibuster is going to be the way to do it.
- 45:18What do you think?
- 45:19Well, we don't have Fetterman's vote.
- 45:21We don't have Lisa Markowski's vote.
- 45:23So we're you know, we're we don't even have all Republicans on board.
- 45:27We don't have the one Democrat who might defect, uh, or at least I shouldn't say the one, the one who is the most likely to vote for that kind of thing.
- 45:34So it looks like it's not going to go anywhere, unfortunately.
- 45:37Um I mean it puts Democrats on record, but I don't really know what difference that's gonna make.
- 45:42I wrote an article last week about the Save Act and how really when you look at the Save Act and look at the poll numbers across the line, Democrat and Republican, 80, 83% of the American people, they want voter ID.
- 45:57They want people to be an American citizen to make a decision when they go in and vote in a poll.
- 46:03And we have our Congress that is defying the will of the people.
- 46:08And when you have done that, you have they they've run a dagger of death through the heart of this republic.
- 46:16That's my opinion.
- 46:17That's what they're doing.
- 46:17They're no longer representing the Americans' wishes at this point.
- 46:21They're doing whatever the hell they want to.
- 46:24Yeah, and you know, they're they're always telling us, oh, voter fraud, there's oh, there's only 30 cases a year in federal elections that have you know a hundred million votes.
- 46:32And I'm thinking, well, then why do you care?
- 46:34Like what then what's the big deal here?
- 46:36Like they like, you know, listen, I I know that there, you know, the estimates on on voter fraud vary so much depending on who you're looking at, but it it has to be way more than they're saying, or else they would just say, okay, let's pass the Save Act, and nothing's gonna happen in the elections.
- 46:53And look, you guys were idiots the whole time, and we're gonna keep beating you with you know, even with it.
- 46:58But even having Republicans against this, and you do the same.
- 47:01Yeah, Lisa Markowski and her, I think she said something like even was even specific and said like you could disenfranchise people in my community.
- 47:09And I'm thinking in Alaska, like I you know, the argument is always like blacks and Hispanics can't get IDs is the leading liberal argument, which obviously they reject given they overwhelmingly support this.
- 47:21But that's those are demographics that really aren't constituencies in Alaska.
- 47:25So it just our comment made no sense there.
- 47:28And it is interesting too that it is a media onslaught, the narrative that the the SAVE act is disenfranchised people.
- 47:37Um they're now claiming like well that married women won't be able to vote or like they it's getting increasingly hysterical by the day who they're claiming it'll disenfranchise.
- 47:46And basically no one believes it if you look at the polling, which is is very rare.
- 47:50The media is usually very good at brainwashing people.
- 47:52This is one of those lies that is so obviously not true that no one's buying it.
- 47:56No one.
- 47:57It's eighty, eighty-three, eighty-four percent.
- 47:59I think it's over ninety percent for Republicans, and Democrats are even uh above seventy percent.
- 48:05Yeah.
- 48:05Yeah.
- 48:06This is a no-brainer, but yet it can't get through Congress.
- 48:09Let's listen to the minority leader on the Senate side, Chuck Schumer, the Democrat from New York.
- 48:14There might be some information in here that may make it all make sense.
- 48:18It's about voter registration.
- 48:20It makes it it allows ice to kick tens of millions of people off the rolls.
- 48:28Whoa.
- 48:30What does that mean?
- 48:31Tens of millions of people off the rolls.
- 48:34Why would I be doing that?
- 48:36You have any idea, Matt?
- 48:38I I wonder what what could possibly be it?
- 48:41Chuck Schumer just said that.
- 48:42He said that's it be on the rolls in the first place.
- 48:45And you notice too, like when he says tens of millions can be kicked off the rolls.
- 48:50I mean, in theory, they could all be Republicans, right?
- 48:52Yeah, very good.
- 48:54Uh obviously he knows they're not.
- 48:56So he has some inside information there that it would be people kicked off that are to the benefit uh of the Democrats party.
- 49:03Yeah.
- 49:03And and all like I live in New Jersey, unfortunately, where it's a state where when you um when you get your driver's license, uh you can you are automatically registered to vote.
- 49:14This is very common in a lot of states.
- 49:16Florida, Florida's the same way.
- 49:18That's where I am.
- 49:18Yeah, yeah.
- 49:19Yeah.
- 49:19And and we for some reason allow legal aliens to get driver's licenses here.
- 49:24So I mean, it it's pretty easy to put two and two together that when you have a legal getting driver's licenses, they're also gonna get registered to vote.
- 49:31And and even if there's supposed to be some sort of oversight to prevent that, we're working with government bureaucracy here, and we're working with governments that benefit from having a legal register to vote.
- 49:42So, yeah.
- 49:43Let me keep going with Chuck Schumer.
- 49:45Here's a little more of that.
- 49:46Off the rolls, and they don't tell them until election day, and you show them you say, You're not registered anymore.
- 49:53You're not registered here.
- 49:54You're not on the rolls.
- 49:56And they say, I didn't know that.
- 49:58This is a bill that decides.
- 50:00Destroys the country.
- 50:01And it is not about showing ID when you show up to vote.
- 50:04It's about the voter registration roles, destroying them, purging them, not letting people know, and taking the rights in a uh algorithm put together by us.
- 50:15Okay, he he doesn't know what he's talking about at this point.
- 50:18And cleaning up the voter roles, that should be it should be the most important thing that we do.
- 50:24That's the only thing that we do as Americans.
- 50:27It's the only voice we have is to choose our representation.
- 50:31And of course, as I said a few minutes ago, these these guys in DC, they no longer represent us anyway, if you can't pass the SAVE Act.
- 50:39But it's interesting there what Chuck Schumer had to say.
- 50:41I I just think the Democrats are lost completely in their messaging on this, and they're lost in you know their ideology on this.
- 50:49Yeah, there's just no defense.
- 50:51Like what can you do without an ID nowadays in the modern world?
- 50:56It's like trying to get a buy without a without without a cell phone.
- 50:59It's just not really possible anymore.
- 51:00You need it for uh what to see a movie and a rent a car to get a hotel room to buy alcohol.
- 51:06Like you need an ID for basically everything.
- 51:08So why would voting be the one thing you don't need one for?
- 51:12And and even if you don't have a license, like you can get a non- you can get other forms of photo ID.
- 51:17It's there's just so many options to get one that it's it's unbelievable to me that there's you know millions of people that can never cannot take an hour out of their day to get one.
- 51:28Yeah, no, I agree, Matt.
- 51:30And it is going to come for a vote.
- 51:32It's going to come this week.
- 51:34And I'm not sure how they're going to do it.
- 51:36That there was talk of the nuking the filibuster, which I think is the dumbest idea in American political years.
- 51:42Yeah, it surely is.
- 51:43And then the standing talking filibuster, I would love to see that.
- 51:47I would love to see that, and I think that it could pass if that was done.
- 51:51But evidently, John Thune, the majority leader in the Senate, he can't even uh get enough Republicans to go along with that.
- 51:58Mike Lee put a video out over the weekend, and he says they have maybe a hybrid idea.
- 52:04So we'll have to wait and see this week what happens.
- 52:06Go ahead, Matt.
- 52:06Well, my understanding with the talking filibuster is that it might be difficult to have enough people there for a quorum, and that if Democrats didn't show up, uh I think it was like if if only one or two Republicans left, it would um collapse the session.
- 52:22But I might be incorrect about it.
- 52:23They probably know more than me on that.
- 52:24Well, you know what?
- 52:25I would love to see the Senate do away with Cloater.
- 52:27I would love to see them do away with that and change the rule back where you actually had to filibuster.
- 52:33The way it's supposed to work is when you bring a bill to the Senate floor the way it used to work a hundred years ago back to 1917.
- 52:40That started the clock, and the debate continued until everybody had had their say and no one else had anything else to debate.
- 52:48And at that point, you voted for the bill.
- 52:50What Clocher did in 1917 was allow them to put the motion on the table.
- 52:56So once a bill is introduced, it can put it over to the side, you don't have to debate it, and then they change the rules in 75 where you don't even have to do a foot real filibuster anymore.
- 53:05You can just say we're gonna filibuster, and then that's good enough.
- 53:08So if they did those two things, if they went back to the real filibuster, they got rid of Cloteur, we might see the Senate actually do something.
- 53:16But here is Senate uh leader, majority leader, John Thune.
- 53:30We don't have the votes either to proceed get on a talking filibuster, nor to sustain one if we got on it.
- 53:39Um but that's just a that is just a function of math.
- 53:41And there is anything I can do about that.
- 53:43I mean, I understand the president's got a passion to see this issue addressed, as we all do.
- 53:47Does he understand that though?
- 53:49Well, we've conveyed that to him, but um we'll continue to make that argument because I think it's important that everybody understand that this really is about it's about the votes, it's about the math.
- 54:00And um I I'm for better or worse, I'm the one who has to be the clear-eyed realist about what we can achieve here.
- 54:06And so we'll continue to convey that.
- 54:08And um, and I think that we're gonna have the fight on the floor.
- 54:11We're gonna vote on this.
- 54:13Um, we're gonna put it up, and we'll give the Democrats the opportunity to cast their vote on whether or not they think non-citizens ought to vote in American elections.
- 54:21Now, Matt, you and I have been talking about this on this program for almost two years.
- 54:27It was in April of 2024 that Speaker Mike Johnson, he went to Mar-a-Lago, he and then candidate Donald Trump.
- 54:35They from a podium, they told everybody what the Save Act was.
- 54:38At that time, I said this will never pass the Senate.
- 54:42In May of 2024, I said it on the show.
- 54:44I think with you, that it was never going to pass.
- 54:47It was meant for political messaging going into the 24 election.
- 54:52That was a big thing for Republicans and conservatives.
- 54:56So it it gave the energy to the base and energized them to go vote.
- 55:01And now we are here, and it's not happening, and I think it's almost having the reverse effect for the Republicans and the base of Donald Trump.
- 55:10People are frustrated over this.
- 55:12Well, that's the problem with you know, trying to mobilize people around this is if it fails.
- 55:18I mean, okay, yes, you have the narrative of Democrats don't care about free elections, but that narrative is not going to get disseminated through the mainstream media.
- 55:26It's only going to be through right-wing media.
- 55:28And then you have a base that's saying, well, okay, so I'm gonna I'm gonna go vote in a fraudulent election that millions of illegals are in.
- 55:35Is that a motivating message?
- 55:37And I I don't really think it is.
- 55:39No, I don't either.
- 55:40Well, Matt, we are to the end of our hour.
- 55:43We've covered some ground here.
- 55:44What do we look for this week other than the Save Act?
- 55:47What else is on the agenda?
- 55:49Uh I mean, I guess that it's probably the lazy answer, but a lot of the things we talked about, the updates and stretched or moves, um, that situation, and then also what's next with Cuba.
- 55:58Let me run this by you too, because this is a story I kind of wanted to ask you about.
- 56:03I don't know that you've heard about this, but a woman was convicted of killing her husband with a two by four.
- 56:09And she is up for parole for the first time after 25 years.
- 56:13Now, this guy was a big Texas uh real estate broker at the time, and in the middle of his sleep, she just went to his head with a two by four.
- 56:21And do you think she should be paroled?
- 56:23She is seventy-five years old now.
- 56:25What do you think?
- 56:26No.
- 56:26This happened in June 2002.
- 56:29No, I mean so the the context is just she murdered someone out of the blue with no justification.
- 56:35Premeditated, yes.
- 56:36Yeah, then no, then no way.
- 56:38Yeah, he was asleep.
- 56:39She took a two by four out of the garage and went to work on his head, and he died.
- 56:43That's insane.
- 56:44No, no, of course not.
- 56:45Well, because like a trick question, you're trying to get me to the I know your honeymoon, just keep it in mind.
- 56:51Walk a straight line.
- 56:54Hey, man, have a great week.
- 56:57Yeah, please, always.
- 56:58Uh you remember Lorraine Bobbitt?
- 57:00Never mind.
- 57:01Have a good week.
- 57:03I I know exactly who that is.
- 57:05And don't forget that you were told two thousand years ago that you are the salt of the earth and salt without flavor, it has no value, so whatever you do, keep being salty.
- 57:14Have a great night.
- 57:15There is only one truth.
- 57:17You've been listening to The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott on America Out Loud.
