- 0:00once a musician was asked,"How do you know you are successful in your performance?" The pianist in this case, he answer at a very deep level.
- 0:15He says,"When I reach the moment that I am not there anymore." It is when the musical instrument becomes the musician.
- 0:27He is one with the music.
- 0:39Good morning.
- 0:40Today we will review another, discourse, but this time it's from the Rebbe of Lubavitch of blessed memory.
- 0:53Here he explains what is the reason that on Rosh Hashanah that falls on Shabbat we don't blow the shofar.
- 1:07So that is something that has a lot of meaning, deep meaning, not only because they are afraid that a person is going to carry on Shabbat, This is Halakha, but this is not the real meaning of not to blow the shofar at the holiday of Rosh Hashanah when you know that the shofar is the central to the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, symbolize the crowning of Hashem on the first day of creation as Adam did.
- 1:43Because the first Rosh Hashanah was happened also be Shabbat, when Adam was finally created.
- 1:51Not of the day of the creation, that was in the 25th of Elul, but on the day of the completion of the creation.
- 2:01The world was not set complete only when, Adam was created, Adam and Chava, because the man is the one that complete the whole creation.
- 2:18Good morning, Anita.
- 2:19Nice to- Good morning.
- 2:21Good morning I am explaining here why we don't blow the shofar on Rosh Hashanah when falls in Shabbat a deep explanation is that Shabbat itself embodies maljut.
- 2:43We call Shabbat maljut.
- 2:45Is the day of where everything receive, is the recipient of everything that happened during those six day of, of the week.
- 2:58And maljut, what is maljut?
- 3:01Maljut is sovereignty, and therefore does not require the sounding of the shofar.
- 3:09Shabbat is known as the supreme pleasure, sanctifying itself and expressing its holiness without the human action required on other holidays.
- 3:24So what created the completion at the moment of the creation was the presence of Adam and Chava.
- 3:35But there is something higher than that, and this is what we are going to explain here.
- 3:43What is this supreme pleasure that Hashem has?
- 3:48A king takes pleasure in being recognized by his subjects, whose connection to him allows them to attach to the king essence.
- 4:02This revelation expressed through the shofar is inherent in Shabbat, through which we attach ourself to Hashem.
- 4:13So what brings pleasure to Hashem is our attachment when we want to connect with him.
- 4:21That is what create and give this supreme pleasure of Hashem.
- 4:30Shabbat is inherently holy because God sanctifies it.
- 4:37Unlike, here's Dr.
- 4:40Yuld, unlike the rest of the holidays where we say that Israel is who sanctify the Shabbat.
- 4:53Okay?
- 4:54Let me give you a more simple detail of what is happening.
- 5:03Shabbat is higher than the holidays.
- 5:08The holiness of Shabbat is higher than every holiday.
- 5:12So when a holiday fall in Shabbat, the action, the, uh, energy of the holiday increase in its value.
- 5:23So this is what happened in Rosh Hashanah, that precisely Rosh Hashanah is the crowning of Hashem, is the beginning of all what is going to succeed, through the all the months ahead.
- 5:42There are two kinds, of silence.
- 5:47In if there is no shofar means that there is silence.
- 5:52So what is the high level of silence?
- 5:56You can have one silence that is very simple, it's empty thought.
- 6:01That's why a person doesn't have anything to say, he keep himself silent.
- 6:07But there is another type of silence that is higher, that conveys a deeper meaning beyond words.
- 6:18There is a moment when the words cannot express what we are feeling, and it's beyond us.
- 6:28So that is the meaning of the silence, that there is no the sound of the blowing of the shofar during Rosh Hashanah that falls on Shabbat.
- 6:42And I will give you a practical example in educating a child.
- 6:50There is two ways to educate a child, is telling the child directly what they have to do, why they have to behave in this way.
- 7:02And there is another way that is indirect, where mostly you teach the, the child by your own model, but you behaving in the right way.
- 7:19That is a higher level of educating a child.
- 7:23So you are not going to express yourself with words and words, and sometimes words that a child doesn't want to listen to you.
- 7:34The one rejects the parents from, because of that.
- 7:38But when you don't express it, when you don't say directly, and instead you find indirect way to teach and educate your child, the child accept the message in at a higher and deeper level.
- 8:00That is the meaning of this silence during Shabbat So the shofars serve this awakens the bitul.
- 8:11That is what the shofar does.
- 8:13And I know Hannah, he likes very much the word bitul.
- 8:18So what is bitul?
- 8:20We have to understand what means bitul.
- 8:23Is helping a person set aside personal will before the will of the king.
- 8:32That is bitul.
- 8:34I put myself to the side, and I allow Hashem to be the king.
- 8:43That is the real bitul.
- 8:46Is not that I am without ego.
- 8:50We need a little bit of ego because that is my presence.
- 8:56That is our connection.
- 9:00But it's only when my, reason to connect with Hashem is so strong that I want to be part of him.
- 9:12And I am not separate from Hashem When I enforce my present to Hashem, but the nullification is to be only a channel for the Hashem energy.
- 9:32And there is a story about in Russia, a Hasid, his name was Rabbi Futerfas, and he spent in the Gulag, that is a, one of the prison in Russia at the time of the Tsar.
- 9:51He spent 10 years in the Gulag.
- 9:56And one day, a, one person was sobbing and crying, he was saying,"I was a big musician in Moscow, and now who I am?
- 10:09I am nothing." And he was sobbing.
- 10:12Then another, another friend says,"No, I was a doctor.
- 10:17I was the doctor of the Tsar, and now who I am here?" And then Rabbi Futerfas says that,"I don't suffer because I lose who I used to be in the past when I have my wife and my children and my home.
- 10:39Now I serve Hashem, in another way completely different." But being a slave also is a way to serve Hashem.
- 10:53Be a prisoner is I-- this is another way where Hashem is putting me in order that I will continue serving Him.
- 11:05So this is very deep, very profound.
- 11:09He was not suffering because of the change of a status from who he was in the past.
- 11:20He said,"Okay, this is my new way to connect with Hashem, and I have to use this new status that I am, This is not what I prefer to be.
- 11:33I don't want to be a slave in the gulag.
- 11:37I don't want to be a prisoner and having lack of food and hard work.
- 11:45But this hard work that I am doing today is another way to serve Hashem." So on the first day of creation, Adam and all existing proclaim,"Come, let us bow before the one who created us and everything that exists." This is what Adam said to everything that existed, animals and birds and everything that was there.
- 12:20This nullification, this is the nullification before the creator of the world brings a person to recognize that everything comes from Hashem and that nothing exists apart from him.
- 12:37As a result, created being cannot claim independent creative power, which is why labor is forbidden on Shabbat.
- 12:49Why the labor is forbidden on Shabbat?
- 12:53This is a very deep, understanding of why we cannot work on Shabbat.
- 13:00Shabbat is more than refraining from work.
- 13:06It reflects a standing in the king's presence.
- 13:12I- in that estate, a person is filled with awe, connection and attachment rather than involvement in the physical world.
- 13:24Let's says I am in front of a king.
- 13:27Automatically, I cannot do any other thing beside being there, as is obvious.
- 13:36So that is the reason that labor is forbidden in Shabbat.
- 13:42Every Shabbat is betul, a higher level of intimacy With Hashem on Rosh Hashanah that falls on Shabbat, Betul rises and it is Shabbat Shabbaton, mean a higher level of Shabbat Bitul frees a person from vanity.
- 14:15That is another point about Bitul and ego, aligning them with their true self and the flow of divine energy.
- 14:29This is so beautiful.
- 14:31It means becoming a channel for the infinite.
- 14:36In its truest form, Betul helps heal the suffering within existence.
- 14:45That is so beautiful.
- 14:48So people are weak, can complain and suffer from lacking in this world.
- 14:59And you feel like a victim.
- 15:01Why things is happening to me?
- 15:04Why I am suffering?
- 15:06Why, I don't have whatever I It was, it is normal to receive.
- 15:15So when you have Betul, and you are free of your ego and your vanity, on life, then you align with Hashem, and there is no difference between you and Hashem.
- 15:34You really become a channel of Hashem utmost light, supremes light.
- 15:43We call in Hebrew a supreme Elyon, is a level that is beyond understanding.
- 15:54Instead of being in my own bubble, when a person feels that he's a victim, he is in his own bubble.
- 16:05He feels separate from his environment.
- 16:10I open myself to being a channel of the true reality, being part of it.
- 16:18I am part of the reality that I am living at this time in my world So the Alter Rebe,, continued, explaining that there are two levels of Bitul One is the tool of an eved, of a servant.
- 16:46And the other is the tool where you are completely in silence.
- 16:54You don't exist anymore.
- 16:57You are above existence.
- 17:00You are beyond existence.
- 17:03So you are not anymore a servant.
- 17:07That a servant follow what his master tells him to do.
- 17:14But when you are beyond existence, you are part of Hashem.
- 17:23You are a conduit to Hashem.
- 17:26You don't feel any separation between you and God.
- 17:32You are part of that energy because in reality there is no existing beside Hashem.
- 17:41Ein lo bilvado.
- 17:42There is no anything that exists beside God.
- 17:48Who we are?
- 17:49We are a, spark in the cosmos.
- 17:55If I will take a picture from the cosmos and I will be completely invisible, if I will take a picture of the Earth and I will focus in me, I will not be seen.
- 18:13So this is the significance of being beyond that.
- 18:20So an example, another example is once a musician was asked,"How do you know you are successful in your performance?" And the, the pianist in this case, he answer at a very deep level.
- 18:42He says,"When I reach the moment that I am not there anymore." It is when the musical instrument becomes the musician.
- 18:54He is one with the music.
- 18:58You can The,, violin will not complain, they like me or they don't like me.
- 19:05The piano will not complain.
- 19:08Only we are the one that we have that doubt constantly, I am performing right or not That, is what is the difference So now we can understand the bitul of Rosh Hashanah on Shabbat.
- 19:33When the shofar is not blowing by human effort, it is an essential nullification that transcends physical action.
- 19:44So that is the beauty of, not blowing the shofar.
- 19:50So you are- we don't need a human being to express Hashem.
- 19:58Hashem is there already So this elevated light of Rosh Hashanah and Shabbat brings a person into union with Hashem beyond human will until one becomes united with the Almighty, blessed be He, as one.
- 20:20And this is infinite light reveal on Rosh Hashanah.
- 20:29And one does not depend on human effort, but is drawn solely from Hashem as a hidden higher illumination from the world of Atzilut, the world of complete unity.
- 20:48So then what this light is draw from Atzilut, the highest world that exist before Under the Ein Sof, on the, under the infinite light.
- 21:04You remember that there is fa- four levels.
- 21:08You have at the higher level Atzilut.
- 21:11Then we have Briah.
- 21:13We have Yetzirah.
- 21:15And we have Assiah.
- 21:17So we reach at that moment a the highest level, and this is the meaning of this coming Rosh Hashanah that falls on Shabbat.
- 21:31So that will inspire us to have a wonderful prayer and wonderful understanding.
- 21:41And with this, I think that I am giving you the most essential understanding of this coming Rosh Hashanah.
- 21:54Thank you very much.
- 21:56I would like now to open to you and listen to your,, to your words.
- 22:03Anita, I would like to hear from you what is your comments about- I mean- this beautifulness.
- 22:10Beautiful day I'm gonna pass for now, and i'll pass for now, and let's- Okay come back.
- 22:17Then, Shana Tova.
- 22:23I think this was absolutely excellent explanation of, uh, not blowing the shofar on Sh- on Shabbat.
- 22:33And, it clarified so much, uh, because there's some things going around saying, and which I, I didn't accept, um, but now I have an understanding saying that if Shabbat, a lot of bad things can happen when Shabbat is not blown on Rosh Hashanah, and it's absolutely ridiculous.
- 22:58Um, and it's a shame that these things, uh, go around, and then people believe them.
- 23:06Um, but this was absolutely beautiful, and thank you.
- 23:13Julie.
- 23:14Hello, everyone.
- 23:16Good morning, Julie.
- 23:17I have,, when I, um, turned on the, the Zoom, the first thing that I heard was that we are only a channel for Hashem's light and energy.
- 23:29I, um, really, I put an asterisk by it, and it's The message is very, powerful.
- 23:38Once again, we're only a channel for Hashem's light and energy, and I just feel like it's something that I want to keep working on all the time.
- 23:52How am I showing up as a channel for Hashem's energy and light?
- 23:57And I just find it so powerful that, um, another statement that I can add to my list of what I'm working on, and one being I have to remember that I am a channel, that we're all channels, but I have to focus on that I am a channel for Hashem's light and energy.
- 24:20And again, what does that mean?
- 24:23Well, you know, Moses was the only one that got a hint of what, um, God's personality was, and God told us, you know,"If you wanna know me, you know, then look at the 13 attributes of mercy." And I've really, really been focusing on that, and it's really It's uplifting my life in different kinds of ways.
- 24:50It's huge.
- 24:51It really, really is.
- 24:53It's like we all are a channel for Hashem's light and energy, and it's so important to really think about that when we show up.
- 25:03So thank you very much for that.
- 25:05I get to add just another little asterisk to what I'm working on.
- 25:10So thank you.
- 25:12Sana?
- 25:20Okay.
- 25:20Um, yeah, thank you for the class.
- 25:24Very, very deep and beautiful.
- 25:27Um, I love the word Bitul and the concept of Bitul, for sure.
- 25:34And today you mentioned that according to the teaching of the Rebbe, uh, there's two kinds of Bitul.
- 25:43The, the Bitul that we are a, a servant, Eved- Mm-hmm and the, the one that is above existence.
- 25:52And I was wondering if there are, like, two steps of Bitul.
- 25:57In order to get to the one beyond existence- Mm-hmm if we start by being a servant, maybe that's- Correct.
- 26:03Correct.
- 26:04Okay.
- 26:04Absolutely.
- 26:05Okay, awesome.
- 26:06And, um, just a parallel here, if you can, uh, give us our, your opinion on this.
- 26:15The people that had, um, nearly death experiences, and we don't know for sure, of course, but they mention the, the light, right?
- 26:26They mention being above their body and the light.
- 26:30Uh, do you see this as the Ein Sof itself, and are, is this a state of Bitul that they had for those moments, and then they came back?
- 26:42Is this the Ein Sof?
- 26:45I don't think so, that will be the Ein Sof.
- 26:49Ein Sof is above.
- 26:50Mm-hmm.
- 26:51But certainly is, i- is an, i- inspire, motivate the person to a very huge level of Bitul, because they understand very clearly the situation where they are at.
- 27:08Mm-hmm.
- 27:08And, and only the point that they can come back, they were nearly dead, and they can come back to life, is a huge, uh, experience.
- 27:22So absolutely- Okay must produce Bitul.
- 27:27Thank you, Miriam.
- 27:28Mm-hmm.
- 27:30Um, I would like to hear from Rene.
- 27:37Um, well, like Julie, I too had kind of another one of these aha moments.
- 27:43Mm-hmm.
- 27:43Um, and it goes back again to the betul and, and, um, the separation, kind of the humility.
- 27:52I mean, we talk about humility, it comes up at Pesach as well.
- 27:57Um, but like today was a new level of really separating, stepping back, letting go, and being the channel that Julie talked about.
- 28:09So you made that really clear in your talk today.
- 28:16Uh, the idea is not to feel separate.
- 28:21The idea is to feel completely attached to God.
- 28:26Because the- But separated from our own ego.
- 28:30I- it's not- Sorry.
- 28:32Ego is- Oh my, uh, my existence.
- 28:35I exist and I know that I exist.
- 28:38Okay.
- 28:38And because that I know that I exist, there is a separation between me and God.
- 28:45God is there, and I am here.
- 28:48But the highest level of unity with Hashem is when I am part of the energy.
- 28:57The energy flows through my veins and my arteries.
- 29:02I am not separate Is like I return to my source.
- 29:11I am there together with my source.
- 29:15Is my neshamah is going back to his up source of, uh, that it exists in a complete, in a indifferent, means without shape, without form, is part of Hashem.
- 29:35I am not an individual anymore.
- 29:39I think that's what I meant.
- 29:41Okay.
- 29:42I didn't say it correctly, but I'm glad you said it.
- 29:45Okay, perfect.
- 29:47Okay, perfect.
- 29:48Ashira?
- 29:51Um, I agree.
- 29:52I think the concept of the tool was, um, my favorite part.
- 29:58Uh, it's still a little difficult for me to understand, but I think overall it's a beautiful message and, um, yeah, I just liked learning it.
- 30:07Thank you.
- 30:08Yes, but the idea of the tool is where I read here that- Yes It, uh, is that the person doesn't have any more vanity.
- 30:27What is vanity?
- 30:29Vanity is something superficial.
- 30:32Uh, I don't have that anymore, and and I am not anymore a victim of my events.
- 30:43This is a huge thing, because in- Yeah, I agree.
- 30:46Because- It's a, yeah, it's a- Yes it's a beautiful, it's a beautiful concept.
- 30:51I think that's the hard thing, is separating yourself from, um, your past and also from, you know, all the material world that we live in.
- 31:02It, but yeah, it's very good message.
- 31:04I appreciate it.
- 31:05I would like to hear your voice.
- 31:08Tess Levy.
- 31:09Or Tehillah.
- 31:10Or Tehillah.
- 31:10Yeah, either one.
- 31:12Uh, I'm friends with Anita, and I'm friends with your beautiful daughter.
- 31:16Ah, so nice.
- 31:17Okay.
- 31:18Uh, if you listen to the class, I would like very much to hear from you what is your understanding, and if you have any question or, or if you want to, I always give the opportunity to, to talk after my talk.
- 31:36So I'm, like, a very interesting case in all of this, because I came from the Hollywood world.
- 31:42Oh.
- 31:42And I've humbled myself to the point where I've let go of a lot of the things that would drive somebody in that industry.
- 31:53Um, and when you talk about, like, the ego, like, it is important to have a sense of self and our importance, but our importance is through, you know, mitzvot and Torah and trying to do good in the world as opposed to only serving ourselves as much as, you know, we can.
- 32:13And that's how we can illuminate the light of Hashem, is through realizing that we're much more than just ourself.
- 32:22Um, and I ta- when you talked about the prisoner and, like, being a prisoner, like, at times in the beginning, I felt like,"Why is Hashem doing this to me?
- 32:29Why am I all of a sudden, like, having to re-create myself in this way that I'm no longer Tess?" Like, I have to become Tehillah, I have to do this.
- 32:40Like, there's so many things.
- 32:42I mean, I usually, like, I cover my hair when I'm out.
- 32:44Like, it's like there's so many things.
- 32:46But Hashem sometimes takes you out of your comfort zone so you can serve Him better.
- 32:52And so it creates this, like, and if you see Hashem's hand in everything and you see that Hashem actually is running the world and is- Caring about you enough to put you in a position where you can connect deeper and you see the hand of Hashem, then you're able to accept and you can accept and adjust to whatever reality Hashem puts in front of you because you realize it's actually is Hashem in everything.
- 33:20So I like the class because when I hear people that are, you know, very much connected speak on this type of level, I realize that it's not an individual thing.
- 33:29It's kind of happening to all of us in different ways.
- 33:33So, um, thank you, Anita, for letting me join the class, because it was great.
- 33:38Thank you.
- 33:39And, and, a- and happy Rosh Hashanah.
- 33:41Ha- and have a sweet, healthy year.
- 33:43Amen.
- 33:44You are wonderful.
- 33:46You say everything.
- 33:47Thank you so much.
- 33:48Thank you.
- 33:48You completed my words.
- 33:50Aw.
- 33:52And Dr.
- 33:53Yoon this, um, session was very deep, um, especially, um, about Bitul, uh, made me think a lot about this, and then I think I need more time to really formulate and organize my thought.
- 34:15But, um, uh, in a- I think Bitul, for us, uh, who, who live in this world, in the lower world, still have this physical body, but also try to Learn enough to nullify ourselves, um, while we are having physical body.
- 34:40Um, it's extremely difficult, I think, a concept to grab, just like, as you said, it's experimentally old.
- 34:47It's, it's one of those that we just have to have, uh, the trust bitahon to really grab it.
- 34:56Um, so it's, it's hard, but, um, I think through Torah study, um, I think we are able to reach kind of a...
- 35:11We're trying to reach a level and with a bitahon.
- 35:15So I was, like, kind of thinking of, like, how do we actually, um, try to be there.
- 35:27Um, so, like, in my mind, it was like Torah study and Emunah and Bitahon, and we'll get there.
- 35:35And then meanwhile, we can use our physical body, not for vanity, but, um, for mitzvot, we can use our physical body.
- 35:44So how do we exist in this lower world having bi- bi- bitul, um, like, with this challenging of dealing with the physical world and with our physical body and a lot of exper- i- influence of this material world?
- 36:04So, um, I try to see the balance between it, um, because we are here in a lower world, and, but how do we get there?
- 36:14But at the same time, this is so mu- it is such a gift that we are here.
- 36:19And, um, just like last, last time I mentioned, uh, seeing Like class in general, it just gave me a really different level of appreciation of our physical body.
- 36:35With this physical body, our presence, even right now in this moment, being here, like we're here, our physical body, and speaking through our bodies, it just gave me a different level of appreciation of a physical presence, this vessel.
- 36:50Um, although we're struggling with it though, um, you know, to get to Betul.
- 36:56So I was thinking about that, uh, during the class.
- 36:59Thank you.
- 37:00Yeah.
- 37:00Very nice.
- 37:01Very nice.
- 37:01Anita, are you ready?
- 37:07Morning.
- 37:08Um, w- when I think of, about, uh, Betul, I think about, a baby.
- 37:17Because babies are so innocent and they have- Mm everything is just open to them.
- 37:24They love everybody.
- 37:25They, they have no agenda.
- 37:28They are stripped of all of the agenda that, uh, that, um, adults have that kind of muddle our brain and make it more difficult to see the light, to see the light of God.
- 37:46Um, I, I think, um, I- I...
- 37:52Yeah, I think that the easiest way for me to understand it is, is through the eyes of an, an infant.
- 38:02Also, I was reading that, um, line that Julie wrote, wrote down, that I also wrote down, um, w- that we are all a channel for Hashem's light, and I think that's so true, but I think we don't all allow Hashem's light in.
- 38:26Mm-hmm.
- 38:27And that's, uh, that's, uh, the important element.
- 38:30It's out there.
- 38:31It's for us.
- 38:33We could grab it, but, um, something holds us back, and, um- If we could find out what's holding us back and just allow ourselves to be released, I, I think, um, we would get there a lot quicker.
- 38:53Mm-hmm.
- 38:54What do you think, Julie?
- 38:56You want to add something?
- 38:57Yeah, I really think, um, I think the more that I think that the more we work on our inner selves, you talk about it all the time with all the, you know, with all the muck, with all the energies, the bad energies, the negative energies and everything like that, it's very difficult to get to that state.
- 39:20It's extremely difficult because there's so much blockage there.
- 39:25And you talk about it all the time, and it's so true, and I just feel it.
- 39:29I feel like the more we work on ourselves, we work on our inner selves.
- 39:33Like, the other day I was out, and someone made a comment that they're working on their outer selves, like they were doing Botox.
- 39:40And I was sitting with my sister, and we both said,"We're working on our inner selves.
- 39:46We're not focused on the outer selves.
- 39:48We're working on our inner selves." And I think the more we work on our inner selves, the more we can be that channel for God's light and energy.
- 40:00I really, I feel it.
- 40:01I've never felt it so strongly as this year when I started doing 60 days again.
- 40:07You know?
- 40:08Every year I've done 60 days.
- 40:09I don't know how many years I've done 60 days.
- 40:12And it's always been, okay, I read it, I take it in.
- 40:18This year I took a journal, and every day I'm writing.
- 40:23Mm.
- 40:23And it has been transformational.
- 40:27Transformational.
- 40:28Because I said I didn't realize how many psychological patterns that I have not worked through at my age, and I started to go,"Wait a moment." You know?
- 40:40You can avoid this, or you can really look at it and say,"Wait a moment.
- 40:45It's time to really go deep and accept that there's some things you need to change." And it has been so powerful.
- 40:55It really has been.
- 40:56So again, to hear that I am a channel for Hashem's light and energy, and when I'm not acting like that, then I'm not His channel.
- 41:06That is not how He behaves, you know?
- 41:09And that's not how He wants us to behave.
- 41:12So that is something that I will continue to work on, and it's not easy, but again, uh, the more and more we work on ourselves and we really release what's bothering us and holding on to us, the more we can, I feel, really be that channel and that light and energy.
- 41:32Yes, very rewarding.
- 41:34Is very, is a hard work It's very hard work But it's a very rewarding work.
- 41:42Absolutely.
- 41:43Is when you m- you at least you move forward trying- Mm-hmm to master it.
- 41:50Mm-hmm.
- 41:50Is that give you a sense of satisfaction, like an athlete that is able to reach its goal.
- 41:59Mm-hmm.
- 41:59That is, that is, that is the po- the position that we are.
- 42:03And the beauty of all this is to perceive and recognize that, uh, the kindness and the mercy that- Mm-hmm HaShem has towards us- Right i- is, is beyond.
- 42:19Mm-hmm.
- 42:20It is beyond understanding.
- 42:21Right.
- 42:21He's giving us everything, but we are a little behind, and, like, we have a lot of blockages.
- 42:30We are not, uh, aware of them.
- 42:34Right.
- 42:34So, uh, uh, that's why I think that, uh, having this perspective is very useful And instead of telling you, okay, what are the sounds of the shofar, what we have to eat in Rosh Hashanah, and all these things that are very important too.
- 42:56Here we are transforming our essence, and I think that this is the higher level that we can reach in life.
- 43:07And we are now starting a new year, a new opportunity.
- 43:12A new chapter is opening.
- 43:14A new book is opening.
- 43:17So BeEzrat Hashem, we will have this year with all the good events that Hashem wants from, for us.
- 43:28And we are going to go and pick it up, all these packages of good energy- Mm-hmm and bring them in, bring them in, into our life, And at the same time, be a lamp, lamp lighter to the people around us.
- 43:46Exactly.
- 43:46We have to be- Mm-hmm a lamp lighter.
- 43:49So thank you very much.
- 43:51This is what I have it for you.
- 43:55I, uh, I, I didn't prepare any meditation.
- 44:00I can go to a meditation of Rosh Hashanah that is what to think when we are listening to the shofar on the, on Sunday.
- 44:11M- Shabbat, no, but on Sunday, what we are going to feel.
- 44:16So we have to see that we are conquering, through the sound of the shofar, we are first of all, be present in the first sound, in the first of tekiah We are present in the first sounds of tekiah.
- 44:35Then, at the sounds of shevarim, that means the sounds of breaking the Gevurot, breaking, the hardship that we can find in life.
- 44:49We break that.
- 44:51We have to break.
- 44:53And, and we have to be active in this action, not passive.
- 44:59We have to be active.
- 45:00We are breaking it.
- 45:02Find the way that is more suitable for you to break those blockages.
- 45:08So you think that at, at the sound of the shevarim, that is only three sounds, at this moment, you are breaking all the Gevurot.
- 45:21This is the expression of what is happening.
- 45:23Shevarim is what is happening.
- 45:25What are my blockages?
- 45:27Because when we go through a process of transformation, you cannot go from the negativity up to the ceiling.
- 45:38You have to go through a process.
- 45:41Mm-hmm.
- 45:41So the first process is to accept the blockages- Mm-hmm but in a very positive way, with hope and confidence.
- 45:53After that, we recognize it, and then we are breaking, and we break them one after the other.
- 46:03Then finally, we receive Hashem countenance, and that is what will fill us and will give us all the hope and all the energy for the coming year So that, that will be my end words today.
- 46:25And Bezrat Hashem, I wish you a wonderful- Okay prayer time, a wonderful connection with your family, with your friends.
- 46:37And when you are cooking for your holiday, you are bringing all the spices in the food that you are preparing.
- 46:48Those are the spices that you are going to put in.
- 46:51And all the person that are going to eat your food, they are going to receive your energy.
- 47:00So that is the beauty of the Akeret Habayit, of the woman in the house.
- 47:05She brings, she, spread her energy in the things that she cook.
- 47:12When she makes a delicious dessert- that delicious dessert is her going up, is her feeling more and more.
- 47:23Beautiful.
- 47:23Thank you.
- 47:23So thank you so much and, and that is my best of my wishes, and I'm sure that we are going to have a wonderful, wonderful year, full of simcha- Amen full of peace, Emunah Tova.
- 47:41Peace.
- 47:42Amen.
- 47:42Yes, is peace.
- 47:43Is it is I, I connect with you because I know how heavy and how huge is to lose a son.
- 47:55Yes.
- 47:55Is a very, very heavy, very sad.
- 48:00But see that you have now an angel with you everywhere where you go, is there with you, is your angels.
- 48:10And that angel is that will enforce you and will give you all the power that you need to do more and more mitzvot, and continue being the, beautiful Emunah Tova that you are.
- 48:24Thank you.
