- 1:38Speaker 2: All right, I'm not gonna lie. I don't know which
- 1:43Speaker 2: way is up right now. There are mornings where I

- 2:00Speaker 2: I will assure you that I will do the best
- 2:03Speaker 2: I can. We're looking at cloudy, sky's, rainy today, Loew's

- 3:35Speaker 2: brand new day, and I hope you're off to a
- 3:40Speaker 2: great start. I'm gonna see if Chuck will answer this morning. Yes,
- 3:45Speaker 2: I was at a ACDC concert with Chuck, who is
- 3:50Speaker 2: my lifelong cohort of ACDC Loving Fools, one of my
- 4:02Speaker 2: closest friends, and looks like he's noddy. I think, seriously,
- 4:07Speaker 2: I think he's sleeping in I'm trying to reach Chuck
- 4:11Speaker 2: this morning.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Chuck is.
- 4:17Speaker 2: There. He is, Yeah, he's sleeping I knew it. Chuck
- 4:22Speaker 2: is one of these friends that I have who lives
- 4:28Speaker 2: and breathes love for ac DC. He and I are,
- 4:36Speaker 2: I would say, equal fans. Although I wanted to be
- 4:43Speaker 2: noted here that Chuck did not cry when Angus came
- 4:50Speaker 2: out Sunday night at Chillette Stadium. I did not only once,
- 4:59Speaker 2: but three times. Once at the beginning, once in the
- 5:06Speaker 2: middle during Bond. You're killing me already, buddy, listen, if
- 5:13Speaker 2: you want to come on the air, you know my number.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Call me. Once at the beginning when Angus came out
- 5:18Speaker 2: once during his like twenty minute guitar solo, and then
- 5:22Speaker 2: at the very end when they encord with for those
- 5:28Speaker 2: about the rock and the cannons were going off. You
- 5:32Speaker 2: have to understand, and I know, and I'll listen. I
- 5:35Speaker 2: met a guy who I worshiped. This man he this
- 5:41Speaker 2: was his seventh ACDC concert. You have to understand. I
- 5:47Speaker 2: became an ACDC fan when I was ten years old
- 5:52Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty. I have wanted to see these guys
- 5:55Speaker 2: for forty four years ever since then, and I have
- 5:59Speaker 2: missed in the past some opportunities. I think Bond was
- 6:04Speaker 2: telling me. Twenty sixteen is when they were last at
- 6:08Speaker 2: Gillette Stadium. I was sure at that point, especially when
- 6:15Speaker 2: they were touring again and they were only in Europe,
- 6:17Speaker 2: I was sure that I had missed my opportunity. I
- 6:21Speaker 2: had written it off. It was a bucket list item
- 6:26Speaker 2: that I knew that I was going to pass away someday,
- 6:31Speaker 2: having never have seen ACDC, and even telling my daughter
- 6:39Speaker 2: for the last ten years of her life, I've always
- 6:41Speaker 2: dreamed of seeing ACDC and I never will because they're done,
- 6:46Speaker 2: and they resurrected themselves and they, thank God, came back
- 6:52Speaker 2: to America after running around Europe and they did this
- 6:55Speaker 2: North American tour and there wasn't anything that was going
- 6:59Speaker 2: on get in my way this time. And Chuck felt
- 7:02Speaker 2: the same way. And to be there standing next to
- 7:04Speaker 2: Chuck and his son Kurt, and my ten year old daughter,
- 7:10Speaker 2: who is such an ac DC fan, had the the
- 7:13Speaker 2: red horns on her head, standing on her chair next
- 7:20Speaker 2: to me and jumping up and down and head bob
- 7:24Speaker 2: in the whole night. All of our ears are ringing,
- 7:31Speaker 2: even Chuck. Even Chuck said, this is too much for me. Man,
- 7:36Speaker 2: My head is my ears are ringing, My head is
- 7:38Speaker 2: just pounded. Chuck, good morning, Good morning.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I never said it was too much for me.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You did say it. You said I've had.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Said, oh my god, my ears are ringing. That's what
- 7:50Speaker 3: I said.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Chuck. Just listen, I've been talking smack about you. Please
- 7:57Speaker 2: to just tell everyone how just tell everyone on your
- 8:00Speaker 2: experience of this concert.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I thought it was absolutely awesome. I mean it was
- 8:07Speaker 4: it was fucking great. I never seen anything like it.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I've been to Woodstock. How many people can say that,
- 8:15Speaker 4: but uh, yeah, it was great. I mean the fact
- 8:18Speaker 4: that he's seventy years old and was putting on the
- 8:22Speaker 4: show that he was putting on was phenomenal. I mean
- 8:26Speaker 4: I did not expect that type of show. I mean,
- 8:32Speaker 4: those guys rock hard, real hard, and at seventy let's see,
- 8:37Speaker 4: and what Brian's what almost almost eighty?
- 8:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean damn yeah.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And they never stopped. They It's not like they took
- 8:45Speaker 2: a new intermission. I mean there was a little bit
- 8:47Speaker 2: of a little bit of a pause in between each song.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I mean they would just we were waiting for I
- 8:54Speaker 4: mean the fans were waiting for the intermission so they
- 8:56Speaker 4: could take a break.
- 8:59Speaker 3: The band didn't stop, so it was awesome.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, tell us about who was and you were
- 9:08Speaker 2: telling me this, but I want you to tell everyone
- 9:09Speaker 2: who was playing Malcolm Young's guitar.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I believe that was the nephew that was actually his guitar.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I was talking to a gentleman outside the hotel room
- 9:21Speaker 4: the next day, and which I knew, I just didn't
- 9:23Speaker 4: pick up on it. But apparently that's the nephew of
- 9:26Speaker 4: the brothers, and he took on the reins after Malcolm died.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I mean, listen to that guy's playing. I mean, it
- 9:35Speaker 2: was just amazing, right.
- 9:38Speaker 3: It was. It was.
- 9:39Speaker 4: It was amazing. I mean, He's the whole thing was amazing.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I'm still speechless.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I'm still trying to absorb it all, you know.
- 9:47Speaker 4: And I just basically my son was like man, I
- 9:49Speaker 4: expected to be a lot more wound up, but I
- 9:52Speaker 4: was just absorbing it all, watching, listening, I mean I was.
- 9:57Speaker 3: I can't.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I mean, Angus slowed down a little bit with his age,
- 10:01Speaker 4: but not much.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, you can't rip like he used to.
- 10:05Speaker 4: But I mean you think about arthritis at seventy years
- 10:08Speaker 4: old and trying to do that now, Man, that's crazy.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I wonder, I wonder how many cortisone injections into his
- 10:16Speaker 2: knees he had before the show.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Well, I've quite a few. I'm sure.
- 10:22Speaker 2: His hands and everything, everything, everything. I mean, those guys
- 10:27Speaker 2: just constant one, two punch the whole night. And and
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'll say this for the record, Chuck. You you glancing
- 10:37Speaker 2: over at you and seeing you with your eyes closed,
- 10:40Speaker 2: just standing there, head leaning, leaning looking up to the sky,
- 10:44Speaker 2: eyes closed, the rain coming down on your face. You
- 10:47Speaker 2: were in a beautiful you. It was you were in
- 10:50Speaker 2: a zen man. You were you were just like a
- 10:54Speaker 2: Tibetan monk in a trance. You were in a trance
- 10:58Speaker 2: and listen. It could have been a couple of those
- 11:01Speaker 2: chocolate chip cookies you had before the show.
- 11:03Speaker 4: I could have been the chocolate chip cookies. It could
- 11:05Speaker 4: have been the edibles. Could have been the three or
- 11:07Speaker 4: four joints. Yeah, could have been.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It could have been good.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Then the margariteas out out in the parking lot.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Please tell, please tell all about the outstanding tail getting experience.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Oh we got treated great.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I mean, I recommend you go to a show and
- 11:25Speaker 4: bring somebody who's hearing and paired, because you get special
- 11:28Speaker 4: treatment and it's awesome. I mean, your your buddy there, Victy, God,
- 11:33Speaker 4: he came Vick there, he came along, and we got
- 11:35Speaker 4: free parking.
- 11:36Speaker 3: We got I mean, it was great. And you tell
- 11:40Speaker 3: the people, even though we.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Talked about it for days and weeks, how when we
- 11:46Speaker 4: got there you had just discovered where we were.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Tell them that JD.
- 11:51Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Oh tell him about how all this time that you
- 11:55Speaker 4: thought you paid six hundred and fifty dollars.
- 11:57Speaker 3: For bleacher seats.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I even though we explained it to you multiple times,
- 12:03Speaker 4: you figured it out when we got there, that yes,
- 12:06Speaker 4: you're bringing your daughter on the floor.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, listen, I'm I'm I'm a busy guy.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Wasn't really paying attention.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Both of you, even yeah, even Cheryl was didn't in
- 12:19Speaker 3: line like, oh.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Ship, listen, I'm still wearing my I'm still wearing wearing
- 12:24Speaker 2: my bracelet. That's just I am too. I am too,
- 12:27Speaker 2: I am to we will you ever take it off?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I've been on for a few days.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And and listen, Chuck, I gotta yeah. I
- 12:35Speaker 2: understand about the parking and everything, but what about the tail?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Getting the menu?
- 12:39Speaker 4: I mean tail The menu was great, you got you know,
- 12:41Speaker 4: the the chef was awesome. We had shrimp, we had
- 12:44Speaker 4: Italian sausages, green peppers, Margarita's, Margarita's taco salad.
- 12:51Speaker 3: It was supposed to be the buffalo. But that's okay.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I'll get over it, all right. Notice you notice I
- 12:55Speaker 3: didn't eat much because it wasn't the buffalo. Get but
- 12:58Speaker 3: I didn't say anything.
- 12:59Speaker 2: And Cheryln's asta salad and I mean it got it.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Was, yes, the pasta salad. I was actually supposed to
- 13:04Speaker 3: take that home. I forgot it.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Do you notice I was gonna steal it?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Have you seen how many comments have come in from
- 13:11Speaker 2: from honors that were there.
- 13:14Speaker 4: That's the other thing. Like we all kind of grouped
- 13:16Speaker 4: in together. It was kind of weird. And my son
- 13:18Speaker 4: was like, because we ran into people we knew and
- 13:21Speaker 4: a guy that recognized me, and my son's like, wherever
- 13:23Speaker 4: we go you run into people, you know, it's ridiculous
- 13:27Speaker 4: running even in the same state.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, well, Curd, I've been around Buddy.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And the guy in front of me, Tim Chase, nice guy,
- 13:36Speaker 2: met him for the first time. Guy from Brookfield. He
- 13:38Speaker 2: was there with his wife. They were having a freaking blast.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the guy I'm talking about. We both recognize
- 13:44Speaker 4: each other. Book can't remember where it just probably like
- 13:48Speaker 4: three or four. Then I just found out that my
- 13:50Speaker 4: principal here at the school.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Her parents went, Yeah, there's a good good number of
- 14:00Speaker 2: Romonors that uh that were there, and they're just like,
- 14:05Speaker 2: I mean, that's it, you know. My My Facebook question
- 14:07Speaker 2: of the day is what's your number one bucket list
- 14:10Speaker 2: dream concert? One that you have never been to.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Definitely, that was it right there.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I don't really, I mean I want to.
- 14:21Speaker 4: There's not much left. I mean, the skydive in. I
- 14:25Speaker 4: wanted to do that. I always wanted to sleep with
- 14:27Speaker 4: the porn star. But that's not gonna happen now. So
- 14:29Speaker 4: I pretty much filled most of my bucket list.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and listen, I'll do the skydiving with you, buddy.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I I've already told you that. But listen for me,
- 14:38Speaker 2: it's been it's been Pink Floyd, It's Genesis. Uh you know,
- 14:44Speaker 2: it's I mean, there's there's plenty, there's plenty of concerts
- 14:49Speaker 2: that that, you know, Pink Floyd to probably be number two, I.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Would say, besides the A C, D C C and
- 14:55Speaker 4: Nirvana play would have been great.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Zeppelin, yes, thank you, Yes, I said Vermont.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I just didn't say led Zept. I said Nirvana.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I know Dave Horner said led something.
- 15:07Speaker 3: He would be nice right at the top. Super imagine
- 15:11Speaker 3: hearing that.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Lie my god, I'd have to be tripping balls if
- 15:14Speaker 4: I went to that show.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, man, I just you know, I and I
- 15:19Speaker 2: told you, Chuck, it's supposed to pour, it's supposed to rain.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I don't care what Mother nature.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Rain was perfect. That was perfect. I love the rain
- 15:26Speaker 4: that was. That couldn't have been any better.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Tell tell our listeners about that, about that solo, that
- 15:34Speaker 2: guitar solo that went on for twenty all, oh.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah, twenty minutes, And then I forgot that it was
- 15:38Speaker 4: the end of a song. And then all of a
- 15:40Speaker 4: sudden they finished the end of the song and I
- 15:41Speaker 4: was like, oh crap.
- 15:42Speaker 3: That's right. It was so long.
- 15:46Speaker 4: It was crazy. Yeah, it was yeah, amazing, amazing, amazing.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I mean, I can't think of anything else that could have.
- 15:56Speaker 4: I would have liked to have got my tattoo, but
- 15:58Speaker 4: you have to You can't do walkins any more.
- 16:00Speaker 3: So I got to make an appointment to do that now.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I you know, for the record, I was trying to
- 16:05Speaker 2: talk Chuck out of getting his tattoo because he wanted
- 16:09Speaker 2: to get it. He wanted to get the A C
- 16:11Speaker 2: D C bell right on his forehead. And I was,
- 16:16Speaker 2: you know, you have to understand, this is a permanent thing, buddy,
- 16:20Speaker 2: on my forehead. Really, do you really wanted to do that?
- 16:23Speaker 4: Well?
- 16:24Speaker 3: Big enough?
- 16:24Speaker 4: I mean, I ain't got no hair, and my buddy's
- 16:26Speaker 4: always telling my foreheads caving in over my eyes, So
- 16:29Speaker 4: maybe maybe I should do that.
- 16:31Speaker 2: God listen, and and and what about lily Man, look
- 16:36Speaker 2: at look at Lily rock.
- 16:37Speaker 3: That was. That was hilarious.
- 16:38Speaker 4: And then when she had to go to the bathroom
- 16:40Speaker 4: and her song came on and she turned around and
- 16:42Speaker 4: running back, that was that was priceless.
- 16:46Speaker 2: She ran right up to the right up to the
- 16:48Speaker 2: front with me.
- 16:49Speaker 3: You you do know the the monster you're creating? Right?
- 16:53Speaker 3: You do realize how how excuse my language fucked you are?
- 16:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:58Speaker 2: I know, I know, man. She is a heavy a
- 17:02Speaker 2: CDC fan, and.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yes, and she's a very cute blonde and you're in trouble. Yeah, man,
- 17:12Speaker 4: you locked that ship down, brother, you so Lily and
- 17:16Speaker 4: you and you taught.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Her how to ride a dirt bike, so you yeah
- 17:19Speaker 3: threw it.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I know, Lily and I ran up front three times,
- 17:25Speaker 2: you ran up front two Uh.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I got up. I got up quite a little ways.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I got up as far as I dare too. It's
- 17:31Speaker 3: pretty packed again. We had my son, even though he's
- 17:34Speaker 3: nineteen and tall and looks like a grown man.
- 17:37Speaker 4: But I was kind of in dad mode quite a bit,
- 17:40Speaker 4: so I couldn't do what I normally do. Plus I'm
- 17:43Speaker 4: getting old now, so but I had to kind of
- 17:47Speaker 4: contain myself a little bit because I had, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 4: I had my kid with me.
- 17:51Speaker 2: You you, before we were going through the gate and entering,
- 17:54Speaker 2: uh the stadium, you got down on your hands and
- 17:57Speaker 2: knees in front of Lily and pointed right and her
- 18:00Speaker 2: face had said, now, luck, don't you go anywhere. Don't
- 18:04Speaker 2: you go anywhere like that.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Because I should feel her shake, because I could see
- 18:08Speaker 4: her shake, and she was so nervous because.
- 18:10Speaker 3: That place is huge, huge, you know.
- 18:12Speaker 4: So I stopped and I just said, hey, hon, you know,
- 18:14Speaker 4: just stick with us. You're around three big boys. Nothing's
- 18:17Speaker 4: going to happen. Stick to us like glue. I was
- 18:20Speaker 4: dressed kind of in the schoolboy outfit. I said, just
- 18:23Speaker 4: look for me if you get lost. We mama was
- 18:26Speaker 4: right there. I mean, everything worked perfect. I was worried,
- 18:30Speaker 4: but it was really family oriented. There was a lot
- 18:33Speaker 4: of h you know, kids and family. Like we turned
- 18:36Speaker 4: around and there was kids behind us. I know, I
- 18:39Speaker 4: know that's great, that's amazing. But I mean it's funny
- 18:41Speaker 4: how a band that used to be considered a devil
- 18:45Speaker 4: worshiping band has a family outing going, you know what
- 18:49Speaker 4: I mean. It's like a family crusade going to this thing.
- 18:53Speaker 2: It was crazy, sure, Uh you know, I just you know,
- 18:58Speaker 2: I kept saying, a Curt and your son hurt. He
- 19:00Speaker 2: is like very quiet, very reserved. I've never seen Kurt
- 19:06Speaker 2: light up like that with a big smile on his.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Mean either, I mean he exploded.
- 19:11Speaker 4: I mean, I mean he you know, I mean we
- 19:13Speaker 4: were at we were at the at the party we
- 19:15Speaker 4: were having. I'm sure he was, you know, sipping on
- 19:17Speaker 4: some things he shouldn't have been, so, you know, he
- 19:19Speaker 4: was a little a little wound up, and it was
- 19:22Speaker 4: pretty cool to see.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah, our heads were ringing, our hearts were just full.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I mean, did did you tear up at any point there, buddy?
- 19:32Speaker 2: I don't think you did.
- 19:34Speaker 3: No. I was in a trance.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I was just I was just watching and then of course,
- 19:38Speaker 4: like I'm sure so you know, I was trying to see,
- 19:41Speaker 4: you know, I don't know how I ended up with
- 19:43Speaker 4: a six foot tall giant sun, but lucky bastard could
- 19:47Speaker 4: see everything.
- 19:48Speaker 2: And you here, you are? You you got dressed up
- 19:51Speaker 2: in the schoolboy the white shirt.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I did.
- 19:54Speaker 4: I did half asked it, though, after seeing what everybody
- 19:56Speaker 4: else was wearing, I'd wish I'd done a little bit more.
- 19:58Speaker 4: But it was a couple the schoolboys there and girls
- 20:02Speaker 4: there a couple of girls dressed that one too.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Did you see the lady who was just covered in
- 20:09Speaker 2: a CDC patches just to she had.
- 20:14Speaker 3: No I saw a guy like that, but I didn't
- 20:15Speaker 3: see a girl.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It was it was absolutely phenomenal, And you know, I
- 20:22Speaker 2: was worried that, you know, something horrible was going to
- 20:26Speaker 2: happen and we were going to miss this and it.
- 20:29Speaker 3: But he didn't ever heard of that.
- 20:31Speaker 2: It wasn't. It wasn't. I know, it wasn't until it
- 20:36Speaker 2: wasn't until we were actually in our seats where I
- 20:39Speaker 2: looked at you and I'm like, oh my god.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Chuck, Yeah, we're actually here.
- 20:44Speaker 2: We're actually here. It's going to happen right now. This
- 20:47Speaker 2: wild this this band is my all time most favorite
- 20:53Speaker 2: light years beyond every other band.
- 20:56Speaker 4: They don't get the recognition they deserve. They do cover
- 20:59Speaker 4: a wht spectrum of music. It's not it's just I mean,
- 21:03Speaker 4: these are real rock and rollers. They don't just do
- 21:06Speaker 4: one style. They got the blues, they got a little
- 21:09Speaker 4: country in there, they got slow. I mean, they just
- 21:13Speaker 4: don't get the recognition they need, and people just don't
- 21:16Speaker 4: get it. Sure, but they're getting of course, you know
- 21:20Speaker 4: when they pass then all of a sudden, you know
- 21:22Speaker 4: how that works.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Ye, yes, of course, you know. You know what's amazing
- 21:27Speaker 2: is even my little kid man. She says to me
- 21:30Speaker 2: in the car on the way home, Dad, I'm so
- 21:34Speaker 2: glad Angus is alive because if because if he was,
- 21:39Speaker 2: she said, if he was dead, there would be no
- 21:43Speaker 2: a CDC.
- 21:45Speaker 3: No, they wouldn't.
- 21:48Speaker 4: I mean, that's a being. See, that's a being. That's
- 21:50Speaker 4: It's all about the guitar. Really, I mean, nobody really
- 21:52Speaker 4: cares about the lyrics, you know, I mean, I mean,
- 21:55Speaker 4: I mean, don't get me wrong, I love everything, but
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm all about Angus. I love hearing it play. Yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 4: it's like it's like it's I can't even describe it.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It's like Angel singing.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Last time you were at Gillette Stadium, was was Metallica? Right?
- 22:11Speaker 4: I was?
- 22:11Speaker 3: I was twenty five years ago. I was a Metallica.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I think it was twenty five years Actually it was
- 22:18Speaker 4: two thousand, so it was Metallica and Power Me in
- 22:20Speaker 4: five thousand, and I got them. I got cheap seat
- 22:24Speaker 4: tickets for my buddy Sean Donna Hue and I rented
- 22:27Speaker 4: the car, went down and we were so far up
- 22:30Speaker 4: that we just were running down pounding beers. So we
- 22:32Speaker 4: did missed the show and I went up drank, got drunk,
- 22:36Speaker 4: smoked one joint and that's it.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I don't remember much. I mean, I.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Actually there's more to the story, but no one needs.
- 22:42Speaker 4: I don't need to go into details.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Oh yes we do at some point.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Well, it involves smoking and then puking over the two
- 22:53Speaker 4: rolls in front of me, covered them, and my friend
- 22:56Speaker 4: Sean kind of throwing me over his shoulder, and like
- 22:58Speaker 4: we got to go before you end up it.
- 23:02Speaker 2: That was the year that that that plane flew over
- 23:05Speaker 2: Gellette Stadium and just dumped thousands of gallons of bleach.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Well the other thing is I had juked on my shoes,
- 23:14Speaker 4: so I was actually in the Gellete Stadium bathroom in
- 23:16Speaker 4: the toilet, riching my feet Offlet we got to remember
- 23:21Speaker 4: this is twenty five years ago.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I wasn't the same man.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Sure, sure, you know I said to you, I said
- 23:29Speaker 2: to Kurt A hundred times, I said, I said to everyone.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And Charylyn, I mean, she's beside herself. She just absolutely
- 23:37Speaker 2: and vic my.
- 23:38Speaker 4: God, yeah, you know, I was thinking, you need you
- 23:41Speaker 4: need to put that in perspective. Now, Vic is a
- 23:44Speaker 4: man who's hearing impaired, Yes, and he goes to an
- 23:46Speaker 4: acy DC show because he can feel it. You understand
- 23:50Speaker 4: how that is, dude? How powerful that? I just blows
- 23:53Speaker 4: my mind?
- 23:54Speaker 5: Yeah, blows my mind.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 23:58Speaker 4: And you know I went to school with a lady
- 24:01Speaker 4: that had the same type of name problems, so I
- 24:04Speaker 4: had no problem communicating with him at all.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Vick, Vick is a trip, isn't he though?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yeah, he's a great guy. I like him. Listen, I
- 24:13Speaker 3: want to go hang out in the hot tub for sure.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Well we're all going to do that at some point,
- 24:17Speaker 2: for sure. But you know, I told I told everyone
- 24:21Speaker 2: multiple times, even you. I'm like, guys, this is it,
- 24:26Speaker 2: This is it right here. You have to you can't say, oh,
- 24:30Speaker 2: this is awesome, but the next one's going to be
- 24:31Speaker 2: awesome too.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Yeah, No, this is probably it. No, there's no.
- 24:34Speaker 4: I can't believe it because you could tell by looking
- 24:36Speaker 4: at him that they are pushing through for the fans.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's not about the money, it's not about
- 24:43Speaker 4: all that. You can just see that they're giving us
- 24:45Speaker 4: one more ride.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they were, they were. You're exactly right. Especially Brian.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I mean he was just pushing his his vocals every
- 24:53Speaker 2: ounce that he had for for the fans. Uh yeah,
- 24:58Speaker 2: I mean these guys, I don't know how they did it.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean I was exhausted.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Kurt. Kurt was pretty impressed. He couldn't believe it.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Angus never stopped moving. I mean he literally never stopped
- 25:10Speaker 2: his feet. Never.
- 25:11Speaker 4: He's always been like that. That's how he keeps his rhythm.
- 25:15Speaker 4: He's always got these weird gyrations he does. It's always
- 25:18Speaker 4: kind of weird. Yeah, he's got really funny faces when
- 25:21Speaker 4: he plays to it.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Oh my god. I mean just to see, yeah, to
- 25:32Speaker 2: see to see on that jumbo tron.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Uh oh, that was wicked.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Wicked god, just to see his facial expressions, I mean,
- 25:43Speaker 2: interacting with the crowd.
- 25:45Speaker 3: And you know, I gotta be honest with you.
- 25:47Speaker 4: At some point when they had the pictures of the
- 25:50Speaker 4: speakers up, yeah, I remember looking up and going, damn,
- 25:55Speaker 4: that's a lot of amps.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I don't remember those before, but it was the screen
- 26:01Speaker 3: even I was. I guess that was a little more
- 26:03Speaker 3: high and I thought.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Looked over, I look over Kurt, and I'm like, Kurt
- 26:10Speaker 2: that's a wall of speakers and he had to like
- 26:14Speaker 2: do a double take. There He's like blinking, going.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Oh my god, that was that was then right?
- 26:20Speaker 2: They weren't right, but they were up like I don't know,
- 26:23Speaker 2: it was probably.
- 26:24Speaker 3: What imagine if all those are pumping.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Well, I think I think it was like three levels though, Yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 2: it was what you know.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I've been to a lot of shows and my ears
- 26:37Speaker 4: never rang like that before.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Brian is saying, I bet they're going to try it
- 26:43Speaker 2: again next year. Not many people can sell out your
- 26:45Speaker 2: Lette stadium, so.
- 26:47Speaker 3: They did end up selling out. I wasn't sure.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I believe so. And I'll tell you, man, it's like
- 26:54Speaker 2: if for whatever reason a c DC is able to
- 26:58Speaker 2: to tour again, Uh, there's no question that we're going.
- 27:02Speaker 2: I wanted to go to Pittsburgh.
- 27:03Speaker 3: By the way, Brian, there's no way Brian's gonna do
- 27:05Speaker 3: it again.
- 27:05Speaker 4: There is this no way I wanted. He barely could
- 27:08Speaker 4: do this one. Yeah, and I found out some juice too,
- 27:11Speaker 4: why Axel wasn't singing. I'll talk to you later about that.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Only one of the one of the members did not
- 27:18Speaker 4: like working with.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Axel Rose, one of the members of Yeah, yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I think one of them, one of them. I don't
- 27:25Speaker 4: know if it was the basist or not quit or
- 27:29Speaker 4: threatened to quit or something like that because he didn't.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Want to work with Axel.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I was talking to this guy out at
- 27:38Speaker 4: the hotel for a good hour about all this stuff.
- 27:41Speaker 4: I thought I was a fan. I don't know ship, Yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 4: I don't know. No, I'm not even I don't even
- 27:48Speaker 4: want to even I'm a fan.
- 27:50Speaker 3: That's it. I'm not a super fan. I'm not I
- 27:52Speaker 3: met super fans.
- 27:54Speaker 2: You are a super fan in my opinion.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Well maybe to you, but considering of how schooled I got,
- 27:59Speaker 4: talking to this guy made me realize I don't know shit.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I met up with the guy in an elevator and
- 28:04Speaker 2: we were chewing each other's year off. They freaking elevator
- 28:07Speaker 2: to or opened up and we had to hold it
- 28:09Speaker 2: open to finish our conversation.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 4: And on the ride home, I kept running into people
- 28:14Speaker 4: at the gas station and pulling over to the bathroom.
- 28:16Speaker 3: You can see everybody's wearing their shirts.
- 28:19Speaker 5: It's just crazy, right.
- 28:21Speaker 2: We stopped at a at a Chinese restaurant and this
- 28:24Speaker 2: guy was like, how was the show last night, and
- 28:27Speaker 2: I was like, unbelievable and he's and he was like, yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 2: I've seen him five times, and I was like, oh.
- 28:31Speaker 3: My god, five times. Wow, he saw him back in
- 28:35Speaker 3: the day.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Then I met another guy that's that has seen ac
- 28:37Speaker 2: DC seven times.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Jesus, I've seen Metallica four times.
- 28:42Speaker 4: But that's not all I got for, you know, I mean,
- 28:45Speaker 4: for staying a mande one after another or more than one.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Excuse me, listen, just all of it. I there's no one,
- 28:54Speaker 2: there's no better group of people I could have been
- 28:57Speaker 2: with other than the people that I was with.
- 29:00Speaker 4: And I gotta say, j D, I'm very proud of
- 29:02Speaker 4: you because Kurt and I were making jokes that you
- 29:03Speaker 4: were probably gonna corny this out bad. But you did
- 29:07Speaker 4: a good job. You didn't go geek at all.
- 29:10Speaker 2: What the what? What are you talking about?
- 29:11Speaker 5: What do you what?
- 29:13Speaker 3: Your fans know what I'm talking about. I don't even elaborate.
- 29:16Speaker 2: What are you saying?
- 29:19Speaker 4: You you you didn't you weren't cheesy at all with
- 29:22Speaker 4: your little cheesy one liners. Let's just say, let's just
- 29:28Speaker 4: say Carol didn't come out.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Well.
- 29:35Speaker 2: It was a few times where you're like, all right, JD.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Come on, I gotta go in, just get to it.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I was I was hanging with Ray, I wasn't hanging
- 29:41Speaker 3: with Carol.
- 29:44Speaker 2: God, listen, man, can we go to another concert together?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Who will it be?
- 29:50Speaker 3: I don't know who, I don't know.
- 29:53Speaker 2: You should?
- 29:54Speaker 3: You should? So I got Angel has got to have
- 29:57Speaker 3: this experience. She missed out on something. This was her first,
- 30:00Speaker 3: just like Kurtz.
- 30:01Speaker 4: And that was part of the reason I was looking
- 30:04Speaker 4: like I was because I was feeling really.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Bad that she wasn't there.
- 30:07Speaker 4: I mean, it was it was her and I do
- 30:10Speaker 4: a lot of traveling, and her and I travel a
- 30:12Speaker 4: lot together, you know, and it's just it, it just
- 30:16Speaker 4: wasn't It wasn't the same.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I'd have to say.
- 30:18Speaker 4: That's the one thing that bummered me out a little bit,
- 30:20Speaker 4: was that she wasn't there. Yeah, but we got to
- 30:23Speaker 4: make it something. I know she she's kind of a
- 30:26Speaker 4: Guns and Roses.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Fan, you know, she doesn't really fine, let's go, let's go.
- 30:32Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Well, tell me I gotta find something, you know. I
- 30:35Speaker 3: asked her, like, who do you want to see? Well,
- 30:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:38Speaker 4: I'm like, maybe you got to have this experience or
- 30:41Speaker 4: I'm going to die feeling guilty.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Yeah, So we'll figure it out.
- 30:47Speaker 3: But we gotta get her. She's got to have this
- 30:49Speaker 3: experience like we did.
- 30:51Speaker 2: At some point.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I don't I don't want her her life to go
- 30:54Speaker 4: by her non experience in this.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I need to see a look on her face.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Sure, I gotta tell you, man, and I'll shay that
- 31:00Speaker 2: us till till I'm in the grave. Is to look
- 31:04Speaker 2: over and to see my little girl. And you saw it, man,
- 31:08Speaker 2: you were right there. Yeah, the look on her face.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Yeah, she was loving it. Definitely, she was loving it. Yeah,
- 31:18Speaker 3: you've created a monster. You have no idea.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I gotta I gotta get I gotta get that video
- 31:24Speaker 2: that Curtin shot of Lily standing on the top of
- 31:27Speaker 2: that chair with the red horns on her head in
- 31:32Speaker 2: the rain, just fist pumping.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Yeah, not didn't wind, didn't cry, she was just one
- 31:39Speaker 4: of the boys.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Really, God, buddy, thank you. I I listen. I
- 31:47Speaker 2: can't thank you enough. I love you to pieces. Our
- 31:52Speaker 2: friendship means more to me than than anything. And to
- 31:55Speaker 2: be able to to be there and see a c
- 31:58Speaker 2: DC with you, uh, was just amazing. And to see
- 32:05Speaker 2: I mean, I just it's just an unreal man.
- 32:08Speaker 4: And and you're gonna start crying if you keep going
- 32:11Speaker 4: too much.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And and did you see sheryln run across that parking
- 32:16Speaker 2: lot at the at the at the end of the
- 32:17Speaker 2: night saying, just yelling, I'm I'm ruined, I'm ruined.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I can't.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Well, we were going. I took Lily to go to
- 32:25Speaker 4: the bathroom. When we came back, I heard her. I
- 32:27Speaker 4: heard her saying it.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, she looked pretty excited.
- 32:30Speaker 2: She was beside herself. All of us were chuck. I
- 32:35Speaker 2: love you, man. Listen, there are some you know, I
- 32:39Speaker 2: know there's there's always gonna be stuff to talk about.
- 32:41Speaker 2: But get your ass in here sometime soon. Well, yeah, Thursday,
- 32:45Speaker 2: you know your Thursday is fine.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Well, we can do Thursday like we were doing, as
- 32:50Speaker 3: long as nothing going on here.
- 32:51Speaker 4: I need to get I need to get I do
- 32:52Speaker 4: need to get out there and take down that mannequin.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Though they're gonna think I'm here and there's a a
- 32:58Speaker 4: mannequin of me out and out on the right.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Thursday is is GE's spot. But I'm sure you're always invited.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want to do I don't I don't
- 33:11Speaker 4: want to how can I wear it this? I don't
- 33:14Speaker 4: want to upset the G spot. Yeah, no because it
- 33:18Speaker 4: makes it because because it'll make a mess if I
- 33:21Speaker 4: g yes.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It will more ways than one. Thank you.
- 33:25Speaker 3: So so if he's okay, but then I'll come on.
- 33:27Speaker 3: But I don't want I don't want a gcastrophe.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yes, we'll see you Thursday. Man. I love you too, buddy.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Chuck Martin one of my best friends. And what a
- 33:40Speaker 2: what an experience it was at a c d C
- 33:42Speaker 2: to be with him and Lily and Sherilyn and Vic
- 33:46Speaker 2: and Kurt. I'll never forget it ever for the rest
- 33:49Speaker 2: of my life. Are there more stories to to share
- 33:52Speaker 2: about a c d C? You bet? And I love
- 33:54Speaker 2: these comments that are coming in Facebook question of the day,
- 33:57Speaker 2: what's that one bucket list concert that you've never seen
- 34:01Speaker 2: that you've got to see? And man, there's some people
- 34:05Speaker 2: coming in here with comments about memories of Blue Oyster
- 34:10Speaker 2: Cult and what else am I seeing here?
- 34:15Speaker 3: Ah?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Man? What was it? Metallica, a few other bands, Black Sabbath,
- 34:24Speaker 2: Blue Oyster Cult, Molly Hatchet, Jesus Man. Though, I mean,
- 34:29Speaker 2: that's what's that one concert? ACDC was number one for me?
- 34:37Speaker 2: So that's off the bucket list. Number two on the
- 34:41Speaker 2: bucket list would either be I mean, it's Pink Floyd
- 34:47Speaker 2: or led Zeppelin, but neither one of those are gonna happen.
- 34:49Speaker 2: And there were some rumors that were flying around on
- 34:51Speaker 2: the Oh it killed me, I don't know, last week
- 34:55Speaker 2: or the week before that led Zeppelin was reuniting for
- 34:58Speaker 2: a world tour. And when I saw that, I lost
- 35:05Speaker 2: my mind and then quickly learned that it was just
- 35:09Speaker 2: a hoax. But I mean, if that were to happen,
- 35:14Speaker 2: led Zeppelin would be number two on the list. But
- 35:17Speaker 2: you know, number two on the list would either be
- 35:19Speaker 2: led Zeppelin or a CDC a second time. I don't know,
- 35:24Speaker 2: Jethro Tall, Pink Floyd, Yeah, Pink Floyd and Zeppelin are
- 35:28Speaker 2: right there, right there in the number two spot. Everyone
- 35:34Speaker 2: needs the concert experience, ain't that right? Kidder Man? And
- 35:39Speaker 2: to see ac DC, And I said to Lily, I'm like, listen,
- 35:44Speaker 2: you're ten years old. You're going to be for the
- 35:48Speaker 2: rest of your life telling your friends that the first
- 35:54Speaker 2: concert you went to was ac DC and that's probably
- 36:01Speaker 2: gonna that's probably gonna take out everybody else's I don't know, man,
- 36:08Speaker 2: unless you're not an ac DC fan. Yeah, I'm still
- 36:16Speaker 2: processing this. This is gonna take me a while. Look
- 36:20Speaker 2: at this quiet riot. Oh my god, def Leppard, Jon Jet.
- 36:24Speaker 2: That's some serious stuff there, Linda. I didn't know that
- 36:26Speaker 2: about you. You're a hell raiser. Uh yeah, it's just unbelievable.
- 36:35Speaker 2: I'm so blessed to be alive. And not to get
- 36:41Speaker 2: all sappy on you because Rolling Stones, the Who, Yeah,
- 36:45Speaker 2: the Who is right up there. I'm sorry, Dave, I
- 36:47Speaker 2: forgot about the Genesis, the Who, Pink Floyd, that's it
- 36:51Speaker 2: right there, that's it. I've seen, yes, a few times
- 36:55Speaker 2: a concert, big fan, but to be so yeah, you know,
- 37:00Speaker 2: I kinda just tell you I just because I feel
- 37:04Speaker 2: I feel this, and I felt this just so lucky,
- 37:10Speaker 2: so blessed to be alive and to have that experience
- 37:20Speaker 2: with my little girl was was so special for me.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I mean, that's something that is in my soul now,
- 37:33Speaker 2: just is. And I kept like not a big religious guy,
- 37:41Speaker 2: more of a spiritual guy, but I found myself feeling
- 37:49Speaker 2: and I'll be honest with you, I I I don't
- 37:51Speaker 2: I don't pray much, but I found myself feeling like
- 37:56Speaker 2: I needed to say. As we were walking into Gillette Stadium.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Thank you for keeping me alive so that I can
- 38:11Speaker 2: have this gift, this experience with my kid, so blest,
- 38:21Speaker 2: so blest. Not only that, but to be around people
- 38:25Speaker 2: that I love, To have Sharylyn with me, to sip
- 38:29Speaker 2: on some margaritas and eat some sausage tailgating beforehand, and
- 38:37Speaker 2: just to be surrounded by people that I love, people
- 38:42Speaker 2: that love me, and just be surrounded by just great people.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I mean, what a gift to meet Tim and his
- 38:52Speaker 2: wife in front of me, to have that experience too.
- 38:58Speaker 2: His wife gave Lily this little necklace that flashes. It
- 39:06Speaker 2: was It was literally one of the most perfect nights
- 39:11Speaker 2: of my entire life. Never forget it. If you have
- 39:16Speaker 2: the opportunity, parents and or adults without kids, to take
- 39:25Speaker 2: a child to an epic concert like that, don't pass
- 39:33Speaker 2: it up, because that whole experience, what they see, what
- 39:37Speaker 2: they're hearing, what they're feeling, will go right into their soul.
- 39:42Speaker 2: And cameras and I took a ton of pictures, and
- 39:45Speaker 2: of course I was going to share a bunch of
- 39:47Speaker 2: them live on the air this morning, and decided not
- 39:52Speaker 2: to because the best cameras that you can have are
- 39:58Speaker 2: your two eyeballs. And even though the pictures that we
- 40:04Speaker 2: took came out great, they don't do justice for what
- 40:11Speaker 2: you seeing. What you're seeing happening in front of you
- 40:17Speaker 2: is better than any photograph that you can take, and
- 40:21Speaker 2: the memory that you have of that is better. We
- 40:26Speaker 2: took a lot of pictures, and I know I shared
- 40:28Speaker 2: a few of Angus and I'll share more. I'm sure
- 40:33Speaker 2: I'm going to be sharing more here within the week
- 40:36Speaker 2: and maybe beyond that. Keep watching the aired out page
- 40:39Speaker 2: you'll see it. And man, it's like I saw so
- 40:44Speaker 2: many comments from rom Honors that were that were there,
- 40:52Speaker 2: so many it's so cool. You drop a picture of
- 40:54Speaker 2: Angus on the aired out page and I see all
- 40:57Speaker 2: these other comments that people say, I was there. I
- 40:59Speaker 2: was there. We had that experience together. And some of
- 41:03Speaker 2: those people that were there, their names I recognize and
- 41:06Speaker 2: some I don't. But I hope to meet them someday.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I hope if I'm walking down the street or if
- 41:13Speaker 2: I'm at Shaw's or whatever, that if you were at
- 41:17Speaker 2: that ACDC show, that you'll say, JD, I was there
- 41:20Speaker 2: with you.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Man.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I mean, it's just I had goosebumps, I had tears,
- 41:32Speaker 2: I loved every second, literally every second of it, no
- 41:35Speaker 2: matter how much my head was pounding, ears ringing bad.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Back at the hotel room, when I laid down to
- 41:43Speaker 2: go to bed, I was like, Wow, but if there's
- 41:46Speaker 2: any other better reason to have my ears ring, it
- 41:51Speaker 2: would be because of the guitar of Angus Young and
- 41:58Speaker 2: I might have some hearing loss. I don't know, but
- 42:03Speaker 2: I almost might say that it was worth it. I
- 42:07Speaker 2: can't think of another band that would be more worth it. God,
- 42:14Speaker 2: it's already nine four before I forget today being Tuesday.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Tomorrow is Wellness Wednesday from Washington County Mental Health. It
- 42:29Speaker 2: is right at twenty three Summer Street. It is free.
- 42:33Speaker 2: It starts at four point thirty. You walk in the doors.
- 42:36Speaker 2: You can try acup pressure, accupuncture, mindfulness meditation. All of
- 42:43Speaker 2: the services are free. The share and table massages, the Reichy,
- 42:48Speaker 2: the myofacial body release. All of this is free. They
- 42:52Speaker 2: just ask you to call ahead and just let them
- 42:54Speaker 2: know that you would like a table massage or a
- 42:56Speaker 2: chair massage. First four seven nine four zero five five.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Robin's going to answer the phone when you call. Just
- 43:02Speaker 2: tell her that you want to be there at a
- 43:03Speaker 2: certain time tomorrow, starting at four thirty goes till seven o'clock.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Well Space Building, twenty three Summer Street, that's directly across
- 43:13Speaker 2: the street from Summer Street. Auto to all my set.
- 43:17Speaker 2: You find him on Facebook too, Washington County Mental Health.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I see there's and I know I'm snug on time here.
- 43:28Speaker 2: There is so much going on. There's so much to
- 43:31Speaker 2: talk about from this guy that's dressing up his Jesus
- 43:39Speaker 2: and pitching a white tent along the roadsides across Central
- 43:46Speaker 2: Vermont holding a cardboard sign that says something about this
- 43:55Speaker 2: isn't the homeless guy you're thinking of, or something like
- 43:58Speaker 2: that that has garnered quite a bit of attention here
- 44:04Speaker 2: Ian Vermont. I will be talking about this. Just I
- 44:10Speaker 2: gotta pace myself here. We gotta we got. I got
- 44:12Speaker 2: the rest of the week in front of me. I
- 44:14Speaker 2: will be talking about this guy, and I'm going to
- 44:18Speaker 2: bring some folks on the air that hopefully can give
- 44:22Speaker 2: some perspective to this at some point. Uh, I'll get
- 44:29Speaker 2: to it. I want to say before I forget. The
- 44:31Speaker 2: bottle drive that was done as a fundraising effort for
- 44:35Speaker 2: the third year for the Veteran's Place in Northfield on
- 44:38Speaker 2: Saturday was a massive success. Thank you to all who
- 44:43Speaker 2: volunteered and donated bottles up in Barrytown, Northfield and where
- 44:50Speaker 2: I was in Barry City at Lenny's. The turnout was amazing.
- 44:56Speaker 2: It was well over four thousand bottles and cans donated
- 44:59Speaker 2: just a Lenny's alone that we trailered back and forth
- 45:03Speaker 2: over to Beverage. Baron had him counted up a George
- 45:06Speaker 2: over there and his team. My god, I could never
- 45:10Speaker 2: I could never do what they do, counting five at
- 45:13Speaker 2: a time, I mean just moving like rapid fire. Hundreds
- 45:20Speaker 2: of dollars raised between Northfield, barry Town and Barry City.
- 45:25Speaker 2: It was a huge success. We were out there no
- 45:28Speaker 2: matter what in the porn rain for a long time.
- 45:31Speaker 2: The Bury Lions Club, Lucas Herring and Judy and Rick
- 45:38Speaker 2: and so many others, many many people. The Veterans Place
- 45:42Speaker 2: is such an incredible organization. It is a home that
- 45:48Speaker 2: houses about ten veterans in Northfield and they do incredible
- 45:53Speaker 2: things for these veterans. And to think that I live
- 45:58Speaker 2: and work in a community that can support in an
- 46:01Speaker 2: organization that much, that quickly in such a short period
- 46:05Speaker 2: of time is mind boggling. So thank you for participating
- 46:13Speaker 2: that and getting involved in that on Saturday. It was tremendous.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I have seen the stories, the pictures, the news, the
- 46:22Speaker 2: videos about Randy in Montpellier, the guy that there's a
- 46:32Speaker 2: lot of there's a press release. I shared it, but
- 46:37Speaker 2: it's all over. It's all over I think I shared it.
- 46:41Speaker 2: It's all over Facebook, it's all over everywhere. This guy,
- 46:46Speaker 2: who may or may not have been accosted by some
- 46:49Speaker 2: folks in Montpellier. I believe he's homeless, ended up swinging
- 46:54Speaker 2: an axe. Please. Getting involved triggered a lot of stuff
- 46:59Speaker 2: kind of spiral out of control. I don't know Randy.
- 47:07Speaker 2: I've heard a lot, but yeah, mental illness is everywhere.
- 47:15Speaker 2: It's in every town, it's in every community. Homelessness is
- 47:19Speaker 2: as well. There's a lot of people that are experiencing
- 47:23Speaker 2: great despair. And there's a lot more to be said
- 47:28Speaker 2: about this, and I will, I'll get to it. That's
- 47:36Speaker 2: one of the things I wanted to let you know.
- 47:38Speaker 2: That's on my radar. I'm watching, I'm listening. Apparently this
- 47:43Speaker 2: all went down yesterday, So yeah, listen Brandon Carbo last Friday.
- 47:57Speaker 2: There are there were a lot of first time listeners
- 48:05Speaker 2: who caught that interview and who are not familiar with
- 48:11Speaker 2: aired Out. They were first time viewers, first time listeners,
- 48:15Speaker 2: and they are not familiar with me, and I want
- 48:21Speaker 2: to first of all, I want to thank them for listening,
- 48:27Speaker 2: for commenting, and for also reaching out through airedoutvt dot com,
- 48:35Speaker 2: which I have received a lot of extensions from. I
- 48:49Speaker 2: was surprised, maybe more than I think that I thought
- 48:57Speaker 2: I would be, at how many comments came in there.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I'm told I haven't even seen but at a c DC,
- 49:07Speaker 2: but I've I've been told there's over a thousand comments,
- 49:12Speaker 2: and I have read through some of them briefly, and
- 49:18Speaker 2: I will read through all of them. It may take
- 49:20Speaker 2: me a little while, but I will. Some of the
- 49:25Speaker 2: comments I was scolded, I was shamed, and the these
- 49:36Speaker 2: are these, these names of of these of these listeners
- 49:41Speaker 2: are ones that I've I'm not familiar with. I don't
- 49:45Speaker 2: think that they normally listen to aired Out. I don't
- 49:50Speaker 2: think that they know what I'm all about. I want
- 49:58Speaker 2: to make it clear, at least to one of those listeners.
- 50:02Speaker 2: And she knows who she is because she frustrated me
- 50:08Speaker 2: during the interview. And I want to thank my friend
- 50:12Speaker 2: Chris for giving me some constructive criticism by saying the
- 50:17Speaker 2: next time you do an interview like that, it might
- 50:22Speaker 2: be a good idea to not pay so much close
- 50:24Speaker 2: attention to the comments that are coming in, because it did.
- 50:27Speaker 2: It distracted me. And that one that I got from
- 50:34Speaker 2: this lady, I think her name was Heather, but I
- 50:36Speaker 2: can't remember saying that I was interviewing Carbo for likes
- 50:47Speaker 2: and that really that hit a nerve with me because
- 50:52Speaker 2: I don't interview people for likes, and if your name
- 50:59Speaker 2: is Heather, Heather, I don't do this for likes. I
- 51:07Speaker 2: love what I do, but not for likes, not for follows.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I have to tell you. If I sit down and
- 51:18Speaker 2: interview someone and it is a interview that produces some thought,
- 51:26Speaker 2: some reflection, some action, and it changes anyone's life, either
- 51:32Speaker 2: the person that I'm interviewing or people that are watching
- 51:35Speaker 2: or listening, and there's twenty people listening, I'm more than satisfied.
- 51:45Speaker 2: I don't do this.
- 51:49Speaker 5: For likes.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Number one and number two. If you feel that I
- 51:58Speaker 2: interview anyone for the purpose of exploiting them, I beg you,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I beg and plead of you, please please unfollow my
- 52:16Speaker 2: aired out podcast. You don't understand me. You don't understand
- 52:21Speaker 2: what I do and the reasoning behind what I do.
- 52:26Speaker 2: You're out of touch if you feel that I'm exploiting anyone.
- 52:33Speaker 2: I hate the word exploiting, exploitation. It was done to
- 52:40Speaker 2: my father. I don't exploit people. I share or help
- 52:47Speaker 2: them share their stories with others. Next point, I do
- 52:58Speaker 2: not believe everything that I see and hear and read.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I do not believe every word that comes out of
- 53:11Speaker 2: every mouth that is here on my podcast. I know
- 53:18Speaker 2: that people will put their own spin on their own stories.
- 53:25Speaker 2: They will create their own interpretations of their own reality.
- 53:33Speaker 2: I understand that. I don't put anyone on the air
- 53:41Speaker 2: thinking or trying to relay that it is the almighty truth.
- 53:52Speaker 2: That is your job. Your interpretation of what people say
- 54:00Speaker 2: on my show is your job, not mine. I will
- 54:07Speaker 2: give anyone a microphone. I will let anyone share their
- 54:20Speaker 2: story on my platform if they are willing to do so.
- 54:30Speaker 2: And Brandon stood me up once, but he showed up
- 54:36Speaker 2: and I put him on the air. If you don't
- 54:39Speaker 2: like what you see or hear, just shut it off.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Your parents should have taught you that from a young age.
- 54:54Speaker 2: If you don't like the song on the radio, or
- 54:56Speaker 2: you don't like the TV show, change the channel. But
- 55:03Speaker 2: don't badger me or try to shame me for allowing
- 55:09Speaker 2: someone to come in here, whether you think he's a scumbag,
- 55:13Speaker 2: or not to share his story on my camera and
- 55:20Speaker 2: on my microphone, because I will always do that. If
- 55:26Speaker 2: it's too much for you, if you can't handle it,
- 55:30Speaker 2: just tune out, or furthermore, don't follow my page. I
- 55:40Speaker 2: hope you do, because not every show, not every episode
- 55:46Speaker 2: that I do, was like last Fridays, I goof around
- 55:51Speaker 2: a lot on the show I entertain. I try to
- 55:53Speaker 2: give some community connection and some local beat dialed in
- 56:00Speaker 2: to what's happening here in our community, which I love,
- 56:06Speaker 2: by the way. But I will also bring to light
- 56:13Speaker 2: the things that are not so good, the hardships that
- 56:18Speaker 2: we all endure, the good stuff and the bad stuff,
- 56:22Speaker 2: the funny stuff, the silly stuff. Yes, I will act
- 56:33Speaker 2: like I'm fifteen sometimes and I'll goof around and maybe
- 56:38Speaker 2: you'll laugh with me, and maybe you won't, and that's fine.
- 56:46Speaker 2: But for those of you that felt that I was
- 56:50Speaker 2: trying to make Brandon Carbo famous, or that I was
- 56:56Speaker 2: glorifying his actions, his behavior, his lifestyle, you're out of touch.
- 57:10Speaker 2: You're out of touch, and you don't understand who I am.
- 57:23Speaker 2: I will interview anyone if they have a compelling story
- 57:28Speaker 2: to share, whether they are actively doing good by their neighbor,
- 57:38Speaker 2: by their family, by their community, or whether they are
- 57:44Speaker 2: actively doing bad and everything in between. I love the elderly.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I love children. I love interviewing kids too. If they
- 58:08Speaker 2: come in here, like the Granite City Blast baseball team
- 58:11Speaker 2: who's trying to get to Cooper's town, I love stuff
- 58:15Speaker 2: like that. I will also say this, I understand that,
- 58:27Speaker 2: because I own this podcast, that if I have a
- 58:30Speaker 2: guest who comes in here and says something that a
- 58:36Speaker 2: lot of people, whether it's outrageous or not, that a
- 58:41Speaker 2: lot of people will say, oh, that was Jad that
- 58:44Speaker 2: said that. I understand that G comes in here every
- 58:50Speaker 2: Thursday and will say things that I do not agree with.
- 59:03Speaker 2: G is a very very different, very different guy than me,
- 59:07Speaker 2: but he's one of my best friends and he says
- 59:10Speaker 2: some pretty outrageous shit, as does Rex on Fridays. These guys,
- 59:20Speaker 2: these two guys, this is just an example, and Chuck
- 59:22Speaker 2: is one of them. Two These are guys that I
- 59:25Speaker 2: most absolutely definitely do not agree with everything that they say.
- 59:32Speaker 2: But they're loyal friends. And when they say they're loyal
- 59:38Speaker 2: to me, and when they say something that is a
- 59:42Speaker 2: little outrageous on the airways, I may not support what
- 59:49Speaker 2: they say, but please remember whose lips it left. Sometimes
- 59:57Speaker 2: I say things where that I I reflect on later
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: that day or later that week, where I'm like, God,
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: I can't believe I said that. I was kind of
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: an asshole by saying that, kind of a dink. Those
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: guys too, they and me will say things that are
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: misinterpreted or taken out of context all the time. Pretty
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: much every single time I turn these microphones on, someone
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: will have their own interpretation of what they say, and
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: they'll take it and they'll spin it in their own
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: mind and create their own fury. I can't change that,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: and I won't even attempt to change that. There was
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: a comment that was said about a a local church
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: organization which I happen to appreciate and love and have
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: and will always continue to support on and off the air.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: It should have been better exemplified, but it wasn't. And
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: maybe that individual will expand on that at some point,
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: and maybe not, and that's fine too. It did not
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: leave my lips. So therefore I'm not going to try
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: to speak for that individual, but I will say that
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: if you think that I support anyone coming on my
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: airwaves who is bashing any civic service organization in our community,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: you're out of touch. You're you're at the very least
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: you're wrong, but you're out of touch with the reality
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: of who I am. That comment slipped by me because
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I was distracted by the comments that were coming in
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: while we were alive, and I was reading them and
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: I never even heard it. And if I had, I
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: would have said, whoa Horsey. Let's let's back it up
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: here a little bit. Hang on, Let's let's put it
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: into a better context of what you're trying to say here.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Emotions are on high sometimes on aired out. They do
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: for me, they do for guests, listeners, the things we comment,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: the things we say. And it's easy to comment something
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: when you're not here in the studio with us, but
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: when you're sitting on this couch and you got a
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: live microphone on you. I don't want people who are complacent.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I don't want people who have nothing to say. I
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: want people to say whatever comes to their mind. That's
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: why the show's called aired out, whether I agree with
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: what they say or not. Again, I don't believe everything
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: that I read and see and hear from any guests,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: and I most definitely don't believe every word that came
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: out of Brandon Carbo's mouth last Friday. I'm not I listen.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: In some ways, I am a sucker, but I'm not
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: that much of a sucker. I understand there's a bigger
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: picture here that's going on, and I don't expect you
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: to believe every single thing that you hear in the microphone,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: either from Brandon Carbo or anyone else. Like I said earlier,
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: every single person that shares a microphone in here has
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: their own reality, their own understanding. Brandon even admitted himself
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: that he's a pathological liar, that he believes some of
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: his distorted reality, which is distorted by lots of things,
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: maybe some mental health, maybe some drugs, maybe his past,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: maybe his trauma of what he's dealt with which has
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: been unaddressed. And there's a lot of people that are
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: wasting a lot of time saying that's true, that's true,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: what he said that's not true, what he said that's true,
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: that's not true. That's whether it's about his mother or whatever,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. It's not our job to be fact
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: checking everything about Brandon Carbo's life, his past, what he
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: says and what he doesn't say. There was a lot
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: more that was unsaid than there was said last Friday
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: by Brandon Carbo, a lot more. I didn't even scratch
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: the surface with that guy. If you can't handle it,
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: you know what to do. If you would like to
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: see more stuff like that, where I'm sitting down and
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: interviewing people about their lives, their interpretations of what they do,
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: where they live, who they are, what their past has been,
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: let me know. I mean, I've already got people saying, Jad,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: you got to run to Montpellier and interview Randy about
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: what happened yesterday. I am probably one of the most
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: understanding and forgiving guys that you'll ever know to a
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: point to a point, and those that know me best
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: know where my lines are that I draw. And those
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: lines are usually drawn at the elderly and children, and
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: anyone who does a disservice or harms in any way
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: directly or indirectly. Children or the elderly especially, those are
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: hot buttons for me. And I draw the line anyone
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: who harms a child in any way, in any way physically, emotionally, mentally, sexually,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: whatever it is. And we see the stories all the time.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: I have no sympathy for them, and I have no
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: interest in them sharing their story or defending themselves or
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: coming up with justification for or anything onto my platform.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: That'll never happen. But if someone is homeless or has
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: had circumstances in their lives that have led them to
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: the path that they're on, whether it's Brandon Carbo or
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: anyone else, I'm curious. I want to learn what led
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: them to where they are. I'm curious whether or not
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: someone like this has the inert passion to change, whether
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: they have any hope left in them to better themselves,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: to do something productive in their life, whether it's here
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: in this community, or whether they want to get out
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: of here and go somewhere else and start over with
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: a clean slate. I'm curious to know. I am naturally
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: an inquisitive person. I want to hear what they have
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: to say. I do believe in hope, even though I
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: think hope can be very dangerous. I do believe that
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: people can change. I also believe that some people will
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: never change. Maybe I'm contradicting myself. I don't know. I
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: gain and lose listeners all the time. I don't expect
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: anyone to like or love me on the air or
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: off the air, And certainly I don't have the goal
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: every day of saying I want everyone to love my podcast.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: I know that people won't, and if you don't, I
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: won't take it personally. It's not for everyone, but I
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: won't sugarcoat things. And I'll tell you I don't see
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: PTZ interviewing Brandon Carbo. I don't see CIX comeing to
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: the Granite City and interview in Brandon Carbo or Local
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: twenty two, Local forty four. I don't see anyone giving
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: people who are downtrodden a voice a mike. I will
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: do that whether I believe what they say or not.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: I will do that whether you believe what they say
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: or not. This podcast is something that introduces real stories
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: and content that encourage dialogue about real everyday life. I
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: do it unedited, I do it live unfiltered. I don't
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: pre record stuff and edit it up and dress it
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: up and polish it up. I give it to you
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: in its purest form, and I let you reflect on it.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: I let you think about how it impacts you. Maybe
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: it gives you hope, maybe it allows you to reflect
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: on your own challenges. I believe that realness can drive inspiration.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: I believe that this live say it like it is
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: approach here on aired out is something that I understand
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: is unique. I have been told JD, you're skating on
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: thin ice. You shouldn't be doing a live podcast every morning.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: You're gonna hang yourself. My response to that is, already
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: have There's no way that I can do a live
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: podcast without slip ups, without mistakes, without things where I
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: mean it's happened before. God, I wish I didn't say that. God,
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: I wish I didn't act like that. But in the meanwhile,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: we're capturing it like it is. People were helping to
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: resolve stuff, to drive understanding, to reflect on accomplishments. I
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: love the Granite City Blast Baseball's coming in here. They've
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: met their goal in fundraising efforts to go to Cooperstown,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: New York. I love that that is an accomplishment. We
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: saw that being built. We've seen that from when they
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: needed to raise twenty thousand dollars and there were nowhere
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: near it. And then we've seen them come in here
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: and we've met our goal. We're going to Cooperstown. It's
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: just stuff like that. I like content here in the
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: air that provokes insight. I look out the window here,
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: I see people all the time. Stuff that drives my curiosity.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: There are certain people that I really want to interview.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: This man in our community who's totally blind, I'm hoping
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: to get him on the air someday. There's a guy
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: that walks in front of my window that has for
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: the last five years, and I've seen him. One of
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: these days, I'm going to run out and I'm going
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: to offer him a microphone because I want to know.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I'm curious. I'm want to know what his story is.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: You know, if you know me well enough, you know
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: I love to goof around. I love to entertain. I
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: love to get silly, but I also love to get
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: serious and pay attention to top and subject matter that
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: are relevant to our everyday lives. Relatability is probably the
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: single most important element of this podcast. There's definitely going
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: to be things that you can't relate to, but there's
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: definitely going to be things that you can from silly
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: things like your husband clipping his toenails in bed, too
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: serious subject matters. There's something that you're going to relate
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: to directly or indirectly that has affected you in some
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: way in your family or someone you know, whether it's
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: alcoholis some drug addiction. I love to interview the movers
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: and shakers that have done great things. I love to
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: interview people who teach me what they've learned. I love
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: to listen to what they have to say and imagine
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: myself being in their shoes and experiencing what they've experienced
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: in everyday life in the real world, things that that
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: I haven't experienced. I wonder, and I've wondered since Friday,
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: if the intent of me having Brandon Carbo on the
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: air Friday was misunderstood by most. I've had a few
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: people that have said absolutely not, it was misunderstood by
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: a select few. But I still wonder if I wonder
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: about the people out there that think that I had
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Brandon Carbo on the air for the shallow reason of
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: just glorifying him and his lifestyle and his actions. Do
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: you really think that I would bring someone on in
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: our community who has caused harm to promote that, to say, hey,
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: you're deserving of my microphone here because I want to
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: make you famous or give you kudos for doing what
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: you've done. I know he desired and denied some stuff.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: I know he admitted to some stuff. I know there
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: was a lot of stuff that came out of his
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: mouth that wasn't true at all. Maybe some of it was.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Maybe some things, folks, we will never know what the
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: truth is. But do you really think I would bring
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: someone on the air that just because you're coming on
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: the air here that I am that that means that
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: I'm praising you or giving you my lights and my
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: cameras and my microphone because I'm I'm I want to
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: give you more attention to continue doing what you're doing.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: Do you really think that that's my motive or do
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: you think that that maybe there was a deeper meaning
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: behind it. There's there's part of me that's like, you know,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: going forward? Do you just want the flowers and the
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: feel good roses all the time? I'm always going to
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: entertain with and be goofy and be silly and joke
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: around and laugh, because that's medicine for me to be
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: in my day every day, and frankly, it is for you.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: And maybe you think some of the stuff is funny,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: maybe you don't, that's fine. But if you only want
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: the filtered stuff, if you only want to feel good stuff,
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: and almost every day I post the Daily Dosa feel good,
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: I think there's plenty of great news out there. You
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: have to dig a little deeper for it sometimes, sadly,
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: but I like to find that feel good stuff and
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: I like to put it on the air, and I
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: like to talk about it. But if you can't, if
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: you can't either handle or you don't want someone like
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: Brandon Carbo to come in here and tell their story,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: let me know, let me know, and I'll just I'll
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: just give you the generic shit that all the other
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: media sources are given you. But if you want some
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: real stuff that's not pre recorded, not edited, let me
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: know that too. Please don't ever accuse me of interviewing
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: anyone for the sake of getting likes. Let me make
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: it very clear that is the last person that I am.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: I have many faults, but that ain't one of them.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: I interview people for my own curiosity, for genuine reasons,
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: and I hope you can understand that I believe that
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: my sponsors believe that. I believe that the majority of
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: the followers of aired Out believe that. And like I
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: said before, if there's ten, fifteen, twenty people listening and
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: one of them has laughed or had a smile on
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: their face, or has been impacted in any way from
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: the guest or anything any of the content on aired Out,
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: then I have met my goal and I'm satisfied. If
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: there's fifty one hundred thousand people that tune in and
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: few of them or none of them are affected in
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: any way, that doesn't mean shit to me. I don't
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: interview people for likes. I hope I've made that very
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: very clear this morning. Let me know what you would like,
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: you as the listener, you as the follower of aired Out.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: I have always felt that this is your podcast. I
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: don't take my audience for granted. Every single day I
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: am blessed to have you and for all of us
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: to be together. We're all watching, we're all listening at
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: the same time. I'm here with you, you're here with me.
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: You know what's going on in my life, whether it's
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: something bad, something something good, something funny, something not funny.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: You know what's going on. We're all here together in
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: the same room. Let me know how you would like
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: me to proceed. Okay, I'm seven years into this now.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: If you would like me to change the direction, let
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: me know. Give me your feedback. You don't have to
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: post it here publicly. You can send me a private
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: message too. You know how to do that. I've got
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: my own personal Facebook page too, Jade Green. Send me
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: a text message right through Messenger on that I want
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: to hear what you have to say. In the meantime,
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: I feel like some of those people that tuned in
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: last Friday for the first time ever and caught that
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: interview and posted the accusations that I was interviewing him
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: for gains, for followers, for likes, for shares. In the meantime,
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: I will take those messages and I will disregard them
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: as I'm want to put them in a box of
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: people that don't know me, don't understand my podcast, and
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: I'll leave it at that. My regular listeners, every day,
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: you are what matters to me. I want to hear
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: from you, and it doesn't matter to me if there's
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: ten of you, or fifty of you or one hundred
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: of you. You are what matters to me. I want
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: your feedback. Have a blessed day, everybody, God bless please
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: take good care of one another, and don't forget sweethearts
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: and heroes. Tomorrow morning, right here on aired out I
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: can hardly wait. Thanks to my sponsors for supporting this podcast.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: Thanks mostly to you for watching, listening for whatever reasons
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: you do each and every morning. I am so blessed
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: by you. Thanks for listening, Thanks for trying to understand me.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: I know I'm babbling this morning. I appreciate it. Have
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: a great rest of your day, everyone, all right, stay dry,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: Love you, Attatatatatastasattattattattatta
