- 3:46Speaker 7: Welcome back to the Son of a Boy That podcast. Swallow.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, all right, welcome back to the Son of.
- 3:52Speaker 7: A Boy That Podcast. Today it is.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Tickle seventh.
- 4:00Speaker 7: It's one pm.
- 4:01Speaker 9: National Championship Day. If you're college basketball fan.
- 4:04Speaker 3: There's.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Dude, is it insane that the w or the Women's
- 4:14Speaker 6: tournament ended yesterday?
- 4:16Speaker 7: Yeah, ukom wins.
- 4:19Speaker 6: The draft for the w NBA is on April sixteenth,
- 4:23Speaker 6: or maybe it's April fifteenth, and then the WNBA first
- 4:27Speaker 6: game is May sixteenth.
- 4:29Speaker 9: These women don't get a they don't get a break
- 4:31Speaker 9: at all.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 9: I hope they packed sandwiches.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Imagine winning a national title and then you're like, I
- 4:37Speaker 6: don't had time to be in the WNBA in less
- 4:39Speaker 6: than a month.
- 4:40Speaker 9: Yeah, I get to work, like with basketball. With the NBA,
- 4:44Speaker 9: the drafts not till June. Yeah, and then the season
- 4:48Speaker 9: doesn't start till months months. Yeah, they have time off,
- 4:52Speaker 9: time to acabo. Yeah, like a young girl pregnancy, they
- 4:55Speaker 9: have time to do that.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Guys, I lost it because you sucked. Well, no, it's
- 5:00Speaker 3: because I wasn't paying attention because you guys started fucking Paulking.
- 5:06Speaker 9: And I think they just don't want to give the
- 5:07Speaker 9: women's basketball players time to get pregnant. Yeah, maybe that's
- 5:11Speaker 9: what it is. They are like new uncould britches, so
- 5:14Speaker 9: like you need to fucking get these women on.
- 5:15Speaker 7: The court stats. It's crazy to have that.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Like it's literally like you're playing in the in the title,
- 5:22Speaker 6: but in the back of your head you're like, shit,
- 5:24Speaker 6: I'm getting.
- 5:24Speaker 7: Drafted next week. Yeah, and then I'm just and then
- 5:27Speaker 7: I just have to learn the entire playbook in the
- 5:30Speaker 7: one week.
- 5:32Speaker 9: I haven't think the playbook is as intense as you imagine.
- 5:35Speaker 7: I mean, it's professional sports. It's gonna be a little
- 5:37Speaker 7: bit tough.
- 5:39Speaker 9: Yeah, but you know, I don't think they're I don't
- 5:42Speaker 9: think the learning the playbook because I think it's more
- 5:44Speaker 9: conditioning and just going right.
- 5:46Speaker 7: And well, they're probably right.
- 5:48Speaker 3: You ever watch college basketball versus pro I'm.
- 5:53Speaker 7: Here you asking if I've ever seen pro basketball in
- 5:55Speaker 7: college basketball? Yeah, I have, if you have seen.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Both, very different, right, Yeah, big time plays and playbooks
- 6:02Speaker 3: in college basketball. In pro basketball, the coaches, unless you're
- 6:07Speaker 3: Greg Popovich, defer to the stars on the team to
- 6:11Speaker 3: run the show. That makes sense, So there are fewer plays.
- 6:14Speaker 3: It's much more one on one.
- 6:16Speaker 6: But like if you're the if you're if you're really
- 6:20Speaker 6: good and you're in college as a girl. We're talking
- 6:23Speaker 6: about women's sports right now, not men's Why.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Brother, I can't repeat the entire beginning of the podcast.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I heard it.
- 6:31Speaker 7: You can go listen back.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Just not sure why you chose this thought.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Because it's the only sport that I've seen that has
- 6:39Speaker 6: one month between the championship.
- 6:41Speaker 7: Game and then you're in the w NBA playing your
- 6:43Speaker 7: first game.
- 6:45Speaker 9: I think that the true answer is that only like six.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Women are going To'm never gonna go to the w NBA.
- 6:51Speaker 9: Of the like final couple.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, aund hockey players can go straight from the frozen
- 6:57Speaker 3: four to playing in the how much time to the
- 7:01Speaker 3: off then they just swing right up. The seasons are commensurate,
- 7:08Speaker 3: they're condensed there they run At the same time.
- 7:12Speaker 9: He's saying that with women's basketball as soon that instead
- 7:15Speaker 9: of running at the same time, like basket and men's
- 7:18Speaker 9: basketball and men's college basketball run at the same time,
- 7:20Speaker 9: women's college basketball ends, and then w NBA.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Stars immediately after you play two seasons back to back.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I see what you're saying.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Yeah, two full seasons.
- 7:29Speaker 3: That is crazy, it is and.
- 7:31Speaker 9: You love you love women's sports.
- 7:34Speaker 7: No, I don't.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I only know this because I looked up men's I
- 7:38Speaker 6: looked up March Madness schedule, or I looked up Final
- 7:42Speaker 6: four schedule, and then it came up.
- 7:43Speaker 7: The answer came up with was the women's tournament schedule. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 7: and I was like, why would this be what I
- 7:48Speaker 7: was talking about?
- 7:51Speaker 6: Unless Caitlyn Clark was playing, why would that be what
- 7:54Speaker 6: I was referring to. However, I haven't watched any of
- 7:57Speaker 6: the men's tournament either, so I guess it would have
- 8:00Speaker 6: either been. There are two sick games this past I watched.
- 8:03Speaker 7: The end of the Houston Duke game.
- 8:06Speaker 9: Are you gonna win that bracket?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Now?
- 8:07Speaker 6: Rudy's up by twenty bourns and he also has the
- 8:10Speaker 6: same final two that I have.
- 8:12Speaker 9: Ball noer, if Duke one, I would have almost won.
- 8:16Speaker 9: I think Nick's girlfriend would win.
- 8:18Speaker 3: For me if duke one, Yeah, push you the same.
- 8:20Speaker 7: Final as I did.
- 8:22Speaker 9: Nick Senior's girlfriends. She knows ball, she does, has no docks,
- 8:29Speaker 9: but salute.
- 8:29Speaker 7: No docks, but salute.
- 8:30Speaker 9: You'll recognize her if you. If you just see a ball,
- 8:33Speaker 9: no er.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Yeah, a lovely ball. No Ranston partake in the in
- 8:37Speaker 7: the bracket.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I don't want to screw things up in the Eastport.
- 8:43Speaker 7: This mom would have been pretty easy to not screw
- 8:45Speaker 7: up that. You guys, bracket just.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Not really a filler out or of forms and rosters.
- 8:50Speaker 7: I was really hoping that I was gonna win it,
- 8:53Speaker 7: but I'm gonna come in second again.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Do you remember the year that? Now?
- 8:57Speaker 7: Probably not right off the.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Top, I think you will U. N C played Villanova
- 9:02Speaker 3: in the final and Villain it's probably the most famous
- 9:05Speaker 3: ending of the NCAA.
- 9:06Speaker 7: I don't really the march madness.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Well Villanova, I remember they hit a buzzer beater three
- 9:14Speaker 3: to win the games. Mhm, yeah, so I was if
- 9:20Speaker 3: if UNC had won that game, I would have won
- 9:23Speaker 3: my bracket pool, which had fifty people in it. Yeah,
- 9:27Speaker 3: three thousand dollars.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Uh.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I hedged by betting on Villanova like a thousand bucks,
- 9:37Speaker 3: but they were dogs.
- 9:39Speaker 9: I think.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Yeah, So there was a very tiny window where clearly,
- 9:45Speaker 3: because UNC had won by two or one, I would
- 9:50Speaker 3: have won both bets.
- 9:51Speaker 9: Oh you would have won.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I would have won both bets. And uh, UNC hits
- 9:58Speaker 3: the three to tie, and I'm.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Thinking, holy shit, you know, yeah I'm rich, and I think.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I needed Villain, I needed you and see
- 10:06Speaker 3: to win. But it looked for a minute there like I.
- 10:08Speaker 9: Might well they they hit that Marcus Page hit that
- 10:11Speaker 9: double clutch three. Yes, side of the game.
- 10:13Speaker 3: That's exactly right, double clutch.
- 10:15Speaker 9: Yeah he had I was I grew up a big
- 10:18Speaker 9: Villanova basketball fan, like went to a ton of games
- 10:20Speaker 9: with like a fake.
- 10:21Speaker 6: And what year was this?
- 10:27Speaker 3: No, my cousin went to Villanova.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Was the first person I knew that went to like a.
- 10:31Speaker 3: College like with the sports. Uh that would have been
- 10:36Speaker 3: like twenty fourteen, yeah or something like that.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Probably start like twenty dollars and they define Villanova definitely
- 10:44Speaker 6: won one time when my cousin was in college.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Dante DiVincenzo was the star player on Villanova. Yeah, but
- 10:51Speaker 3: he wasn't a starter.
- 10:52Speaker 7: She was dating Dante.
- 10:53Speaker 10: I don't believe at the time any of this nasty
- 10:56Speaker 10: breakup though, really, well he probably got that NBA.
- 11:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, it was like fuck you bitch, Yeah, that's
- 11:02Speaker 7: kind of what one.
- 11:03Speaker 9: And she was probably like fishing in the condoms from
- 11:06Speaker 9: the trash can, trying to fucking squeeze one out, just
- 11:09Speaker 9: to fucking get pregnant.
- 11:11Speaker 7: To say about my cousin.
- 11:12Speaker 6: She listens to the show, NBAM near that, she's gonna
- 11:15Speaker 6: be disgusted. You're the one who said that they all
- 11:18Speaker 6: like you too. It always upset all obsessed with brown.
- 11:21Speaker 6: That's in so any more? Though not after that, now, Frank,
- 11:24Speaker 6: what kind of a shot is that?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Why don't they? Yeah, well I get I mean I
- 11:27Speaker 3: get that. He's like, well, no, I was gonna say
- 11:31Speaker 3: she if she listens to this podcast religiously, then chances
- 11:34Speaker 3: are she is fishing condoms out of the trash man.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Great, you see crazy to say about my cousin, Bro,
- 11:41Speaker 7: She'll hear this all You.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Say crazy stuff about people's families all the time.
- 11:44Speaker 7: When ever, all the time, I don't know if I've
- 11:47Speaker 7: ever said anything crazy about someone's family.
- 11:49Speaker 3: He insulted his children last episode. Why when did I
- 11:52Speaker 3: do that? I don't know why.
- 11:53Speaker 9: No one can say what else. It was just a
- 11:55Speaker 9: nasty streak that we've never seen from him. Yeah, he
- 11:58Speaker 9: start and wonders there' stuff going on at home? Or
- 12:01Speaker 9: is you're not getting booked? This in many stand up
- 12:03Speaker 9: comedy dates.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Yeah, very funny.
- 12:07Speaker 9: Anyway, that almost uh derails the gift that I have
- 12:12Speaker 9: for you for your birthday. Really. So I a couple
- 12:15Speaker 9: like probably a month and a half ago, I went
- 12:17Speaker 9: to a place called carne Mara. You're you're familiar steakhouse.
- 12:21Speaker 11: In uh.
- 12:23Speaker 9: What's in yard or like seaport area, And there was
- 12:28Speaker 9: a very nice gentleman who worked there. He was like,
- 12:30Speaker 9: I'm watching a battle rest for a long time. If
- 12:33Speaker 9: you ever want to go to any restaurants in our
- 12:35Speaker 9: restaurant group, let us know.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Uh.
- 12:37Speaker 9: They had latte. So we went there in Valentine's Day
- 12:40Speaker 9: last night, went to Uh. I was like, uh, lou
- 12:44Speaker 9: Conda Verde is also very fun, and we went to
- 12:47Speaker 9: I don't.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Like Lafe very much, but Lokanda Verda is awesome. Robert
- 12:50Speaker 3: Deanira exactly, Bobby, he owns the joint.
- 12:54Speaker 9: Bobby owns the place, really, and this guy was like, uh,
- 12:59Speaker 9: he was like Robert de Niro like whatever, he's like
- 13:03Speaker 9: familiar with your work or something like that. And you him,
- 13:08Speaker 9: were you with And I don't know if he was
- 13:11Speaker 9: blowing smoke up my ass or I couldn't tell, but
- 13:13Speaker 9: he was like when you go to the restaurant, his
- 13:17Speaker 9: kids want to meet you. I guess they're wrap bands
- 13:20Speaker 9: and uh, if he's there, we wanted we want to
- 13:23Speaker 9: like introduce it, like we want to like introduce him
- 13:26Speaker 9: or something like that. I was next messages to Bobby.
- 13:30Speaker 9: Damn fucking I'm sitting there. After we we got like
- 13:36Speaker 9: the Krostini's Arubula salad two pasta's a delightful yolkie after
- 13:42Speaker 9: the pastas before the meats come out.
- 13:44Speaker 7: A fucking hand on my shoulder. Fucking Robert.
- 13:49Speaker 9: I turned around last night last night, didn't he?
- 14:00Speaker 3: And I?
- 14:01Speaker 9: It was right after your birthday, so we like talked
- 14:04Speaker 9: for a second and he was like, I doesn't say
- 14:06Speaker 9: you're like prey rap whatever and I and I was like,
- 14:09Speaker 9: I remembered it was your birthday. So I had him.
- 14:11Speaker 9: I had him signed this.
- 14:13Speaker 6: God, yeah, there's no way this is real.
- 14:16Speaker 7: Brother, Damn let me see that.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Let me see that.
- 14:21Speaker 6: What is it on de Niro.
- 14:25Speaker 7: Do you have trading cards?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Let me see that. Let's see that. Is this real?
- 14:32Speaker 9: Real de Niro?
- 14:34Speaker 7: I don't know if I'm buying. I want to believe it,
- 14:36Speaker 7: but I just can't it.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I like this so much. I like this so much,
- 14:43Speaker 3: I'd say there's like a sixty percent chance.
- 14:48Speaker 6: The little well, because last time you had a story
- 14:51Speaker 6: like this, he was when he told me that he
- 14:52Speaker 6: was doing blow with Jake Gill.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Exactly what it brings Olf, It has a strong.
- 14:58Speaker 6: And I feel like the photos of this card to
- 15:01Speaker 6: my family and then I'm gonna find out Rome was
- 15:03Speaker 6: just keep saying the taxi on the way.
- 15:05Speaker 9: Here, I'll show you the text for it to the guy.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Well, look, we can confirm that Ron did go to Lokanda.
- 15:12Speaker 7: Certainly when and it says de Niro on the front
- 15:14Speaker 7: of the card. Did you see the front?
- 15:16Speaker 9: There we go. Look, look this is a buddy, says assistant,
- 15:19Speaker 9: And Bob said, add of Ron, is that Ron the Rapper?
- 15:22Speaker 3: His son is a big fan.
- 15:24Speaker 9: Was pissy He didn't get over him or pussy would
- 15:27Speaker 9: have made it.
- 15:27Speaker 7: So that was the first time.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Okay, that's Robert De Niro said, Ron the Rapper.
- 15:35Speaker 9: Yes, there.
- 15:39Speaker 7: Is Robert is like ninety years old.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Nobody has like a ten year old and eight year old.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah he's got yah.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 9: Look at the text from the guy.
- 15:56Speaker 7: I thought he was blown smoked.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Damn, dude, this, if this is real, this is up
- 16:02Speaker 3: there with one of the coolest things. Oh yeah that
- 16:06Speaker 3: you could ever have. Yeah, and rivals, but does not
- 16:10Speaker 3: beat my note from Harrison Ford to Francis smith Ford
- 16:17Speaker 3: with Harrison Ford.
- 16:19Speaker 7: So you actually you met Robert Tina last night?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Yes?
- 16:23Speaker 7: What did he say? And so you say, can you
- 16:25Speaker 7: sign this card?
- 16:26Speaker 9: He said, My sons say that you're a great rapper. Damn,
- 16:32Speaker 9: that's my buddy's birthday. I said that you're a big fan.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Is this a different Robert Tanira?
- 16:38Speaker 6: Because this kind of got that. But this says artwork
- 16:40Speaker 6: by Robert Tanira. So he drew So he painted this.
- 16:43Speaker 7: Yeah, hear a wold socket in forty eight. He painted this.
- 16:46Speaker 3: He was born in forty eight.
- 16:49Speaker 7: Smart ass. Look, I will say, I've never seen someone
- 16:53Speaker 7: sign a painting with the date they were born.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Do you think that that's not real? Like I would say,
- 17:00Speaker 3: the fact that he underlined the words is a celebrity
- 17:05Speaker 3: type of thing to do.
- 17:07Speaker 7: It's also a Roan type of thing to do. We'll
- 17:10Speaker 7: never know. We're never gonna know, never gonna know. I'm
- 17:13Speaker 7: gonna have to call the restaurant.
- 17:15Speaker 3: You should.
- 17:15Speaker 7: I feel like he was Robert Niro there last night?
- 17:18Speaker 9: You should?
- 17:18Speaker 7: Did he sign this?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Here's what we're gonna do here, Paul, We're gonna make
- 17:24Speaker 3: our own reservation under Adam Prone. I thought about. I
- 17:32Speaker 3: was like, that's I will never live that down.
- 17:36Speaker 9: It's yours, like I don't. It's made out to you
- 17:40Speaker 9: would have says on it.
- 17:41Speaker 7: It says to Harry, happy birthday, kid, Go be great?
- 17:43Speaker 7: Best Robert Nero.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Somehow the most salient advice in such a condensed form
- 17:50Speaker 3: that I could. I could not have said it better myself. Yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 3: are the sky is the linen? If you should go
- 18:01Speaker 3: be great, if you have that directive from Robert de
- 18:04Speaker 3: Niro himself that it is your duty here.
- 18:07Speaker 7: Now, it's crazy that just has his phone number on
- 18:10Speaker 7: the card.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Too, card. That's a lot. That's crazy, dude.
- 18:15Speaker 6: He won.
- 18:17Speaker 7: No, no, don't doc, don't doc de Niro. That's his number,
- 18:20Speaker 7: Judge text him right now.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Thanks?
- 18:23Speaker 7: How do I be great?
- 18:26Speaker 3: Rob?
- 18:26Speaker 9: Harry?
- 18:30Speaker 7: Rob Terry from the car.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Your d r D here I be great.
- 18:38Speaker 7: Yeah, that's crazy. If this is real, it's probably the
- 18:41Speaker 7: coolest gift over got.
- 18:44Speaker 3: The true story is that that is from both of us.
- 18:46Speaker 7: Yeah, me and Francis wanted you to have that because
- 18:49Speaker 7: I I be another guy named Harry.
- 18:52Speaker 12: M hm.
- 18:53Speaker 7: You guys knew another guy named Harry.
- 18:55Speaker 3: No, what happened was I had a friend named Harry,
- 18:58Speaker 3: and we photo copied that and I gave him another
- 19:01Speaker 3: version to him, and.
- 19:02Speaker 7: You guys just traced it onto the card Max time.
- 19:06Speaker 9: Way a pure forgery like abag Nail would do.
- 19:09Speaker 7: His painting is looking off on off a lot like
- 19:11Speaker 7: Bob Dylan's pandems.
- 19:12Speaker 9: What does that mean, Nail, Frank Abagnail, Yeah you can
- 19:16Speaker 9: the great forger? Is this similar to Bob Dylan? The
- 19:22Speaker 9: colors are nice?
- 19:22Speaker 7: Great, it's like EXACTI great transition.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I watched a complete unknown? Oh yeah, would you think
- 19:29Speaker 3: I loved it? Oh? Yeah, it was pretty good.
- 19:31Speaker 7: I loved it.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Am I crazy for loving it? Great? Oh my god?
- 19:37Speaker 3: I was just the music. I'm obsessed. I took my
- 19:41Speaker 3: guitar off the hook on the ceiling where I haven't
- 19:43Speaker 3: touched it. And a year or two immediately started fingerpicking.
- 19:48Speaker 7: If you're gun to the count of fist, would you
- 19:52Speaker 7: play Dylan? Really?
- 19:55Speaker 3: Is that one pretty easy to learn because all my
- 19:56Speaker 3: friends knew now all of his fingerpicking stuff is hard.
- 19:59Speaker 3: It's hard to sing and finger pick. Yeah, but I
- 20:02Speaker 3: can fingerpick. I just have a hard time doing them
- 20:04Speaker 3: both at the same time. It feels a little bit
- 20:06Speaker 3: like trying to do this right. But you're doing it, Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 3: you were doing it completely fine, but then if you
- 20:13Speaker 3: switch it gets hard. Yeah, and then going the other direction.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It's it's one of those things. I have a hard
- 20:18Speaker 3: time separating the two parts of the mind to make.
- 20:20Speaker 6: Have you ever tried to play the drums? Yeah, Like
- 20:23Speaker 6: I actually sat down and tried to get a beat going. Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 6: it's fucking impossible. No, it's so difficult.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I think some people have musical inclination and some people don't.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I do.
- 20:34Speaker 9: I think it, but it's a combination of musical inclination
- 20:37Speaker 9: and like motor skill. I think that some people I
- 20:40Speaker 9: have a musical inclination, but not like very acute motor skill,
- 20:43Speaker 9: like as far as like being able to put a
- 20:45Speaker 9: beat together, like I could find rhythm anywhere, but like
- 20:49Speaker 9: I can't play drums.
- 20:50Speaker 7: I could do the like the like when you're getting
- 20:55Speaker 7: the high hat and the Yeah, so you just made
- 20:56Speaker 7: it just that once you start getting the foot pedal in.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Don fucked.
- 21:00Speaker 9: You have to practice a lot playing from a super
- 21:03Speaker 9: young age.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Yeah, you're not doing it at all.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yeah him, this is you cross him right?
- 21:08Speaker 7: Yeah, no, and get that that that pro move. But
- 21:10Speaker 7: your your foot is not your foot wasn't beating up
- 21:13Speaker 7: with the now. Yeah, there's no you are aware. But
- 21:17Speaker 7: I could do the same thing. Literally, You're like, no,
- 21:21Speaker 7: you don't.
- 21:22Speaker 9: Don't You don't have to just do.
- 21:23Speaker 3: The bass from It's not just a bum bom bom
- 21:26Speaker 3: bom I'm going bom bom bom bom bom bom bomb.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Well you don't know what my hands are doing.
- 21:36Speaker 7: Yes, awful, I was doing traditional rock.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Show me your rock.
- 21:44Speaker 7: I don't have to do it again.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I don't think you have rock.
- 21:46Speaker 7: I don't think I need to show off.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Give me your rock. You don't even know the time
- 21:49Speaker 3: signature of rock. What's the time signature? Yes?
- 21:55Speaker 7: Yeah, easy, okay, what's the time signature? Jazz sixty three
- 22:00Speaker 7: six two?
- 22:01Speaker 3: Not your hood? What is it? I don't think it is.
- 22:03Speaker 3: It's something weird like that might be three four. I
- 22:06Speaker 3: don't know, let me look that up.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Definitely isn't even that's for sure.
- 22:09Speaker 9: I don't think that there is like a set rhythm
- 22:11Speaker 9: for jazz.
- 22:12Speaker 7: I think that's the whole point in jazz.
- 22:15Speaker 9: Holy fuck, did you enjoy the climax of the Bob
- 22:19Speaker 9: Billin movie.
- 22:19Speaker 3: They're saying it's four or four for jazz. Interesting, but
- 22:23Speaker 3: another it can also be three four? I said, three
- 22:25Speaker 3: four seven four? Mm? What is it for rock? I
- 22:30Speaker 3: think four to four is common time, that's the most
- 22:33Speaker 3: playing four four?
- 22:36Speaker 9: That is, Yeah, I believe it.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I'm surprised that you knew that.
- 22:40Speaker 7: I dude, I played the piano for eight years and
- 22:42Speaker 7: then I played the clarinet for like.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Four Yeah, four four is rack you guys should do.
- 22:49Speaker 9: You guy should play a crosshand piece together.
- 22:51Speaker 3: No, what we should do is we should do a
- 22:53Speaker 3: contest who's been playing music better? Period?
- 22:55Speaker 7: Obviously?
- 22:56Speaker 3: You why do you give up like that?
- 22:59Speaker 7: Because it's not even like you play music like professionally. No,
- 23:02Speaker 7: I don't your jaw. You play music on stage?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's goofy ship yah here's music.
- 23:09Speaker 6: Yeah, but I played I played from like preschool to
- 23:12Speaker 6: like it's eighth grade or some ship.
- 23:14Speaker 9: What do you remember nothing?
- 23:16Speaker 7: I can read music in the I can read one scale.
- 23:21Speaker 7: You can read like center C.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Outside of that, I'm fucked.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Like I can go up to A.
- 23:29Speaker 7: On my right hand, but then once it starts going
- 23:32Speaker 7: up higher, I don't know anything.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I used to know it all. You can't get the B.
- 23:35Speaker 3: It's one after A. Yeah, but it fucks me up,
- 23:38Speaker 3: like I know, like can you.
- 23:40Speaker 7: Do the crossover?
- 23:41Speaker 3: Yeah? Like I can say, you know where he cross
- 23:42Speaker 3: over here? No? No, like with one hand if you
- 23:47Speaker 3: were to do it, oh like that something like that
- 23:49Speaker 3: after the one, two three, and it's like under life
- 23:52Speaker 3: on four, five, six, seven, eight, that's your I.
- 23:54Speaker 7: Used to raise slade my thumb.
- 23:58Speaker 9: Yeah, you can play.
- 24:00Speaker 3: And if you were, by the way, if you were
- 24:01Speaker 3: playing descending scales, well you know what this is two
- 24:04Speaker 3: in the weeds.
- 24:04Speaker 7: I don't think people are I can play jazz scale
- 24:06Speaker 7: very well.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Like which one do? I love that one?
- 24:13Speaker 9: It's uh, Miles Davis.
- 24:16Speaker 3: It's what it's c.
- 24:20Speaker 7: How would that be?
- 24:22Speaker 3: I don't know. Who gives a fuck?
- 24:25Speaker 7: You get the jis?
- 24:27Speaker 3: I know, I'm impressed.
- 24:28Speaker 9: Did you like the climax of the Bob Dylan movie,
- 24:31Speaker 9: which was.
- 24:34Speaker 3: That they what what was it? He plays the festival,
- 24:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, with the controversial electronic electric music.
- 24:42Speaker 6: Dylan heads like us already knew about that, like you guys,
- 24:45Speaker 6: yeah yeah, Robert Robert fans.
- 24:49Speaker 9: I think that the movie almost like it wanted a
- 24:52Speaker 9: bigger climax.
- 24:54Speaker 7: Well, there's problem is there's not a lot of it.
- 24:55Speaker 9: There's not there just isn't. There isn't It wouldn't be
- 24:58Speaker 9: true to his story.
- 24:59Speaker 6: There is, but it's there's nothing about him is that
- 25:01Speaker 6: well documented after like the seventies of the eighties. Well,
- 25:04Speaker 6: he got it in his motive that accident disappeared for
- 25:07Speaker 6: ten years, but there's like no one, no one even
- 25:09Speaker 6: knows that that Mortorsy Blackson ever actually happened.
- 25:11Speaker 7: There's no police report or anything.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Wow. Well his tour manager, that guy who meets in
- 25:17Speaker 3: the elevator in the movie, but that's not where he
- 25:19Speaker 3: yea it actually was real, or if they stopped working
- 25:23Speaker 3: together for ten years and then rekindled after that, because
- 25:27Speaker 3: so I do believe it happened.
- 25:30Speaker 6: I believe it happened too, but no one, I don't
- 25:32Speaker 6: think there's any proof that it happened. Like there's theories
- 25:35Speaker 6: that it was a it was just made up so
- 25:37Speaker 6: that he could just hide in his woodstock.
- 25:39Speaker 7: House for like a couple of years.
- 25:42Speaker 9: It is enjoyable early on in the movie when everybody's
- 25:44Speaker 9: kind of calling him out for like making up his backstory. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 9: I think that that is a fair criticism of him.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I liked the scene where it's the Cuban missile crisis
- 25:56Speaker 3: and New York City is evacuating. Oh yeah, I never
- 26:01Speaker 3: thought about Yeah, I never really thought about that, About
- 26:04Speaker 3: how in a moment of like that much terror and
- 26:07Speaker 3: they much we're about to get nuked, people are like, well,
- 26:11Speaker 3: they didn't specifically say New York City, but pretty good
- 26:14Speaker 3: chance it's gonna be us, especially if it's Cuba. Yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 3: so so bounced.
- 26:19Speaker 6: Does it seem like that ever make you wonder if
- 26:21Speaker 6: you really got it, if you got if you've gotten
- 26:22Speaker 6: in you, Because like when you say, when he goes
- 26:24Speaker 6: and he plays Masters of War, at least I open
- 26:27Speaker 6: mic that night, I would have been.
- 26:30Speaker 7: I would have been I would already be back in
- 26:31Speaker 7: Massa choose.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I would be. I've already in fact, I've already googled
- 26:37Speaker 3: the largest blasts radius with the most for the known
- 26:41Speaker 3: nuclear weapon with the largest blast radius. And I have
- 26:44Speaker 3: mapped that against my place up state to see if
- 26:48Speaker 3: i'd be far enough away, would you I think so, only.
- 26:52Speaker 7: Only just, But yeah, I think I'll go up there,
- 26:55Speaker 7: right on the edge of your toes the.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Gross marshalls the radioactive rubble that ends right to my feet.
- 27:04Speaker 7: Just ends directly in front of you.
- 27:07Speaker 9: And instead he stays and has a fuck fest.
- 27:09Speaker 6: Yeah, he fock's u Joan Joan Bias, which by the way,
- 27:13Speaker 6: made them both look much more attractive in the movie.
- 27:17Speaker 7: They were both not that attractive in real life.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I don't think they did up Timothy shallow May too much.
- 27:23Speaker 3: I didn't I know that, Bob, but he's a guy.
- 27:26Speaker 9: Bob Dylan is like, uh yeah, Like but I guess.
- 27:30Speaker 7: You could say Bob Dylan has a good looking guy
- 27:32Speaker 7: when he was younger.
- 27:34Speaker 3: I thought that Joan Bias was unbelievably pretty in the
- 27:38Speaker 3: in the movie, and I thought that that woman is
- 27:40Speaker 3: a great singer and actress.
- 27:43Speaker 7: But that's not really what she looked like in no
- 27:45Speaker 7: I know.
- 27:46Speaker 3: But that scene where he's singing and she comes in
- 27:49Speaker 3: to watch him, and then he walks up the stairs
- 27:51Speaker 3: and they don't say anything. I watched him turn into
- 27:55Speaker 3: the kiss with her. Yeah, fifteen times heart fluttering romance.
- 28:00Speaker 6: I got very.
- 28:01Speaker 7: Romantic the guests scene. I never rewinded that saying.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I watched it a bunch of times.
- 28:05Speaker 7: I haven't watched it in theaters.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I watched the movie and then I watched it again
- 28:10Speaker 3: the next day. That's how much I liked it. It's
- 28:12Speaker 3: a banger. It's a good movie. Yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 9: Well, I thought it was good. It made me appreciate
- 28:18Speaker 9: about Dylan Moore.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I thought it was good.
- 28:19Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 28:20Speaker 6: I don't know how I feel about all the biopics
- 28:22Speaker 6: coming out though about like, I don't know if I
- 28:23Speaker 6: need I really say what they're putting out four for
- 28:26Speaker 6: the Beatles, one for every member.
- 28:27Speaker 9: We're doing it like the Avengers. Yeah, they're gonna have
- 28:30Speaker 9: like a post credit scene.
- 28:33Speaker 6: You know what?
- 28:34Speaker 3: Do you know what song I was listening to you
- 28:36Speaker 3: this morning actually was the Ballad of Frank Crispy.
- 28:41Speaker 7: You know that one from Dylan.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Ballad of Sir Frank Crispy. It's George Harrison. Have you
- 28:46Speaker 3: never heard that? Now? Oh my god, you'd love it.
- 28:48Speaker 7: I'm sure it is right up here out I love
- 28:50Speaker 7: George Harrison.
- 28:53Speaker 3: It's amazing. It's crazy to think about how everyone knows
- 28:56Speaker 3: the Beatles, for obviously John Lennon and Paul McCarty.
- 28:59Speaker 11: But.
- 29:01Speaker 3: George Harrison put out some yeah banger.
- 29:04Speaker 7: George is the best, I like.
- 29:05Speaker 9: Any but those boys put out some trash too, though,
- 29:07Speaker 9: let's be honest with ourselves. There was like some post
- 29:10Speaker 9: Beatles stuff where they were like cobbling together, absolute ass.
- 29:15Speaker 7: They just were volume shooters of one hundred percent.
- 29:17Speaker 3: They were just volume shooters.
- 29:18Speaker 9: They would put out a ton of fucking music.
- 29:20Speaker 7: Well, it is kind of crazy too. I think George
- 29:22Speaker 7: Harrison's most fa most famous songs are written by Bob Dylan.
- 29:27Speaker 7: Really yeah, I'm like NYH was George Harrison's shared.
- 29:33Speaker 9: A X with I don't know, like close what famous,
- 29:38Speaker 9: but they're up there organisation, I don't know. And they
- 29:41Speaker 9: were like really close friends.
- 29:43Speaker 7: George Harrison.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, I gotta tell you. I hate to
- 29:50Speaker 3: do it, but I gotta tell a quick flight story.
- 29:53Speaker 7: All good.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I'm so sorry yours if you guys are not into this.
- 29:59Speaker 7: Eric lat Eric and.
- 30:00Speaker 9: George Harrison Sheridan next, and then they collaborated a Ton.
- 30:05Speaker 7: Claptain he's kind of falling off the deep end, though,
- 30:08Speaker 7: hasn't it? Isn't he crazy?
- 30:12Speaker 3: I think I think you're right.
- 30:14Speaker 7: He's not.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Right wing.
- 30:17Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 11: I think he's like a white supremacist. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 11: kids up the window. Yeah, oh gosh, hang, but then
- 30:27Speaker 11: he I think here's a heaven.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, good trade off. I always hear that.
- 30:36Speaker 3: But yeah, being sung by some choir boy whose balls
- 30:39Speaker 3: haven't dropped yet.
- 30:40Speaker 6: Do you think that was like a song that he
- 30:42Speaker 6: immediately started writing or do you think his manager called
- 30:44Speaker 6: him and was like, we got to do something, yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 6: because we are hanging on by a thread right now.
- 30:53Speaker 7: People are not taking the news. Well we need to
- 30:56Speaker 7: hear eric. Yeah. If you cold, don't worry. I already
- 31:02Speaker 7: got something.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Could you all right?
- 31:05Speaker 7: Flat story hit us?
- 31:07Speaker 3: No, this is good.
- 31:08Speaker 9: I don't mind you're saying that he orchestrated the hit.
- 31:11Speaker 7: No, no, no, I meant like after.
- 31:15Speaker 6: Like, I meant like, how long do you think it
- 31:17Speaker 6: till it took him to write the song? And who
- 31:19Speaker 6: pushed him? Because someone pushed him to write the song
- 31:22Speaker 6: pushed him?
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah, because he was already becoming uh neo Nazi or whatever.
- 31:28Speaker 6: No, I think probably because he's people were like, well,
- 31:30Speaker 6: what the fuck happened with your son?
- 31:33Speaker 3: Oh? And he had to explain it.
- 31:35Speaker 7: I think you got to come out with some sort
- 31:37Speaker 7: of pr move after that.
- 31:38Speaker 3: You think that song was pr a little bit?
- 31:42Speaker 6: Yeah, you already are a famous musician. Your son falls
- 31:47Speaker 6: out of a window.
- 31:49Speaker 7: You don't think that.
- 31:50Speaker 6: You don't think his team was scrambling. We got to
- 31:53Speaker 6: get something out. Then it's got to be a fucking heater.
- 31:56Speaker 6: They probably were like, you can either do notes app
- 31:58Speaker 6: or you can write a song.
- 32:01Speaker 9: Zach has a comedian who likes to push boundaries. Yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 9: do you think that he was getting canceled for his
- 32:10Speaker 9: son falling out? Yeah? He let the window open.
- 32:17Speaker 7: It was directly his fault.
- 32:20Speaker 9: You don't think that there was any sort of like
- 32:22Speaker 9: old was his son toddler?
- 32:24Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 32:25Speaker 7: I think it's some god was like Superman or something.
- 32:28Speaker 10: You know.
- 32:29Speaker 7: The window was open. It was like a massive sky rise.
- 32:33Speaker 7: It was a hundred floors up.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Oh, come on, really? Yeah?
- 32:40Speaker 7: And Eric Clapton was on like a bender and left
- 32:42Speaker 7: the window open. You're making up the bender park.
- 32:45Speaker 3: No, I'm not look it up. I'm looking it up.
- 32:49Speaker 7: He was on a bender and he.
- 32:51Speaker 9: Just left the window open, and the son just climbed
- 32:53Speaker 9: out shout no. Google a eye says the boy did
- 32:58Speaker 9: like to leave it against Yeah.
- 33:00Speaker 7: That was one of his favorite things. He died and
- 33:06Speaker 7: it didn't work out well because Eric Clapton his favorite
- 33:08Speaker 7: thing was leaving windows open.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Nineteen ninety one, Eric Clapton's four year old son Connor,
- 33:14Speaker 3: died after falling from a fifty third floor apartment window
- 33:17Speaker 3: in New York City.
- 33:18Speaker 7: Looked up.
- 33:19Speaker 3: The accident occurred while the housekeeper was cleaning the open
- 33:21Speaker 3: window and Connor was not in the room. When the
- 33:24Speaker 3: housekeeper left to get cleaning supplies, Connor ran past her
- 33:28Speaker 3: for the window could be closed. He landed on the
- 33:30Speaker 3: roof of a neighboring four story building. So if you
- 33:34Speaker 3: do the math, that's forty nine stories.
- 33:39Speaker 9: Nothing about a bender's look up.
- 33:41Speaker 7: If he was on a bender, you're victim blame. I
- 33:43Speaker 7: think he was on a bend.
- 33:45Speaker 9: The housekeeper was on the bender. No, the house was.
- 33:49Speaker 3: The house gave the sun LSD and the sun said,
- 33:54Speaker 3: I've got wings and trot. It's worth a shot. And
- 34:03Speaker 3: that's why the song was about angels. What was this
- 34:07Speaker 3: other song?
- 34:08Speaker 9: Layla?
- 34:10Speaker 3: Oh? He had a fun that was in nineteen ninety one.
- 34:15Speaker 9: I don't know why I thought it was earlier.
- 34:16Speaker 7: I thought that was the.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Window would about six feet high and four feet wide
- 34:20Speaker 3: and it was left open. I mean, how how do
- 34:22Speaker 3: you have a skyscraper window that can open to that
- 34:27Speaker 3: with no? Like a legend from nothing below it? No?
- 34:31Speaker 6: Nos, I guess he wasn't on a bender, but that
- 34:34Speaker 6: that makes me think he was, because there was an
- 34:36Speaker 6: answer he probably.
- 34:37Speaker 9: That's probably why he went far right, because guys like
- 34:39Speaker 9: you were trying to put smoke on those name.
- 34:41Speaker 6: No, Eric Clapton was not on a bender or yapsed
- 34:45Speaker 6: into substance abuse when his sun died.
- 34:49Speaker 7: It makes you think.
- 34:51Speaker 3: A lot of people were asking that question. It makes
- 34:54Speaker 3: you think he was.
- 34:56Speaker 6: No.
- 34:56Speaker 9: You asked a question and then they said directly no,
- 34:58Speaker 9: and you're like, whoa, why are you so to fan?
- 35:00Speaker 7: He wrecked?
- 35:01Speaker 3: Quote from his team what do you have to hide? Team?
- 35:04Speaker 9: Yeah? Well, my heart goes out there at Clapton say
- 35:08Speaker 9: with man, No, it doesn't seem like it does a lot.
- 35:11Speaker 7: It's a great song.
- 35:15Speaker 9: That would rather rather Connor still be here.
- 35:17Speaker 7: Saying songs all that good.
- 35:21Speaker 9: That would be me and Francis of the Age Conor
- 35:24Speaker 9: on the couch with us.
- 35:24Speaker 3: To your point, do you think that there was any
- 35:27Speaker 3: part of Eric that was happy about how all things
- 35:31Speaker 3: played out? Because that is his most enduring song. It
- 35:33Speaker 3: is by far and you can't write that without your son.
- 35:37Speaker 3: He could have leaping from the fifty third story.
- 35:41Speaker 7: Yeah, he could have written it.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Maybe he already had written, Oh there's a conspiracy.
- 35:47Speaker 7: So you're that you're going back to he pushed it
- 35:50Speaker 7: now now I'm just saying, like, maybe it happened. And
- 35:52Speaker 7: then he was like, well, I guess the song has
- 35:53Speaker 7: got to come out at some point.
- 35:54Speaker 3: You don't think you think he was He told the
- 35:56Speaker 3: cleaning lady, hey just see you. No, No, I don't think.
- 35:58Speaker 7: He said a lot of stuffy in here, like his
- 36:00Speaker 7: grandma was gonna die, Go ahead and leave that. He
- 36:02Speaker 7: wasn't write the song about my grandma. And then his
- 36:05Speaker 7: son died and he was like, well, I'm putting the
- 36:06Speaker 7: song out now.
- 36:08Speaker 3: This is the rugues.
- 36:10Speaker 7: I'm just saying, I'm just I'm just coming up with
- 36:12Speaker 7: some theories.
- 36:14Speaker 3: I've never heard any of these theories. These are good theories,
- 36:16Speaker 3: they're not bad, all right.
- 36:19Speaker 7: What are some other classics that he had.
- 36:22Speaker 9: Okay, give us the hit it. He's got a lower
- 36:25Speaker 9: back paint, bro, don't fucking talk shit on him. He's
- 36:27Speaker 9: afflicted with lower back paint. Yeah, from constantly unlatching that window.
- 36:32Speaker 9: Try to release that song you got fatum lah on?
- 36:36Speaker 3: Who Well, Chris pay things I see to say, No,
- 36:45Speaker 3: I'll die to hear this plain story though. He actually
- 36:47Speaker 3: Chris beIN while they said his team was like, we
- 36:49Speaker 3: hear about this new finishing movee you've got, and uh,
- 36:55Speaker 3: we want.
- 36:56Speaker 9: To give it a little extra edge. Ready to want
- 36:58Speaker 9: to pitch something to you, Chris.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yes, But then this team was like, we actually don't
- 37:02Speaker 3: like it. It's like, oh, yuyess, I have to kill myself.
- 37:06Speaker 3: All right, Well, how were you this weekend? I was
- 37:10Speaker 3: in Georgia, Northwest Georgia, Athens, No Masters, No Rising Fawn
- 37:18Speaker 3: is the name of the town. It's fifty five minutes
- 37:20Speaker 3: south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is uh Georgia. But sorry.
- 37:25Speaker 7: We talked about this last episode. I said there's great
- 37:28Speaker 7: fly fishing up there.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that I would have thought. So. I mean, this
- 37:31Speaker 3: is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen
- 37:33Speaker 3: in America. It's amazing to see that like it's in
- 37:36Speaker 3: the middle of nowhere. It's at the base of the
- 37:38Speaker 3: Appalachian Mountains and super green, super lush, big valley. Really something.
- 37:45Speaker 7: It is always interesting when you find out that, like,
- 37:47Speaker 7: most states have like a nice area.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, except for the ones around here.
- 37:53Speaker 9: I mean, I think most states, most of most states
- 37:56Speaker 9: are beautiful.
- 37:58Speaker 3: True.
- 37:59Speaker 9: I think that if you usual click around on geo
- 38:01Speaker 9: guesser in New York or New Jersey or Pennsylvania, I
- 38:04Speaker 9: think you'd find some Yeah.
- 38:05Speaker 7: I guess I could say like done and old Rhode
- 38:06Speaker 7: Island sucks.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Put the water in Rhighte Island the coastline.
- 38:10Speaker 7: Yeah, it's true, it is true.
- 38:12Speaker 9: But it is nice to get out to Georgia and
- 38:13Speaker 9: be like, wow, yeah, God's country.
- 38:16Speaker 3: And I'm pretty sure Chattanooga was a major sort of
- 38:20Speaker 3: like entry point Confederate stronghold, one of the early spots
- 38:25Speaker 3: that Grant had to burst through in order to you know,
- 38:30Speaker 3: starts heading down to the South and fighting the Civil War.
- 38:33Speaker 3: But and so you look around and you look at
- 38:36Speaker 3: these hills and you're like, well, they're Union officers streaming
- 38:40Speaker 3: up here, probably getting bayoneted to death. I mean that's
- 38:43Speaker 3: kind of crazy, right, Yeah, it.
- 38:46Speaker 9: Is always fun to think about that when you're near
- 38:48Speaker 9: like a Gettysburger.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah for sure. Uh So I was
- 38:55Speaker 3: down there and we were there from Wednesday until yesterday.
- 39:00Speaker 3: There a long time. Yeah. I played a lot of golf,
- 39:03Speaker 3: had a lot of fun with four point boys. Those
- 39:05Speaker 3: videos will come out soon. We're at this place Maclamore.
- 39:09Speaker 7: Eggs.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was it was sick. It was a
- 39:13Speaker 3: really cool stay and play kind of full surface golfers
- 39:16Speaker 3: with a really nice hotel. Go check it out yesterday.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I'll want more thing. You gotta buy some of the
- 39:25Speaker 3: pants that I bought. I did you did with money?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Those are the best pants, the five bucket. Yeah, they're
- 39:31Speaker 3: sort of like workman type things.
- 39:34Speaker 9: Yeah, I ordered one last week.
- 39:36Speaker 3: This shirt is well, that's viewery. Let's talk about it.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Ye dude, this stuff is awesome. This episode of Son
- 39:46Speaker 3: of a Boy Dad is brought to you by Viory
- 39:49Speaker 3: uh Viory Clothing. Roan is wearing an awesome waffle from
- 39:54Speaker 3: So Comfortable.
- 39:55Speaker 9: I've I got this like maybe last week or two
- 39:58Speaker 9: weeks ago.
- 39:59Speaker 13: I can't.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 9: So comfortable. It's so light, so breathable, so stylish. It
- 40:04Speaker 9: makes me look like I'm in better shape than.
- 40:05Speaker 7: I am, dude.
- 40:06Speaker 10: That is.
- 40:07Speaker 3: This is what I love about Viewery is that they
- 40:09Speaker 3: have managed to find this marriage between comfortable stuff that
- 40:14Speaker 3: you would wear as like athleisure wear, but that actually
- 40:18Speaker 3: looks like lifestyle stuff.
- 40:20Speaker 9: Styll Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Usually I feel like when athletes are wear brands try
- 40:25Speaker 3: to do that, they fail and you can tell that it's,
- 40:28Speaker 3: you know, some knockoff of like a yoga thing. But
- 40:32Speaker 3: the truth is that Viewery has awesome kind of heavier
- 40:36Speaker 3: duty stuff that looks cool. I have a lot of
- 40:39Speaker 3: the pants now.
- 40:40Speaker 9: I bought a bunch of shorts. I think that there's
- 40:43Speaker 9: there's some the core short soft lightweight, four way performance
- 40:47Speaker 9: stretch moves with you no restriction. But I got like
- 40:49Speaker 9: every type of short that they have. I've athletic shorts,
- 40:52Speaker 9: lounging shorts, like kind of like nicer. There's like kind
- 40:55Speaker 9: of like a corduroy type of shit they have.
- 40:57Speaker 3: It's so nice. And the T shirts are the softest,
- 41:01Speaker 3: most comfortable T shirts I've ever owned in my entire life.

- 41:39Speaker 3: terms and conditions. I had an option to take. There
- 41:43Speaker 3: was only one direct flight home from Chatanooga. Is it
- 41:47Speaker 3: seven am? The airport was an hour from our hotel,
- 41:51Speaker 3: so I would have had to be up at four thirty. Yeah,
- 41:54Speaker 3: but I would have been home by nine to thirty am. Alternatively,
- 41:58Speaker 3: I could take a connecting flight starting at ten thirty am,
- 42:03Speaker 3: fly south to Atlanta, and then fly back to New York.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Not terrible allegedly or supposed to get home at like
- 42:11Speaker 3: two forty land at two forty pm later, though I
- 42:15Speaker 3: opted for that. I think it's nice. When I got
- 42:18Speaker 3: to the airport, and Chattanooga. The original flight, the seven
- 42:22Speaker 3: am had been delayed till noon, and the woman said,
- 42:27Speaker 3: I could switch you over to that, but if I'm honest,
- 42:29Speaker 3: I don't think that flight's taken off today. They have
- 42:31Speaker 3: a bum wheel and the maintenance crew is not coming.
- 42:35Speaker 9: How does she know all that?
- 42:37Speaker 7: She just knows she's fucking the maintenance food.
- 42:39Speaker 3: By the way, when you go to small regional airports,
- 42:42Speaker 3: you get answers like, oh, yeah.
- 42:44Speaker 9: Yeah, because it's like Brandon Walker and Caitlin Walker both
- 42:47Speaker 9: working there.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that woman is part of the maintenance crew. Yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 3: but she can't leave her desk because she's the only
- 42:52Speaker 3: Delta agent in town.
- 42:54Speaker 9: Bless your heart, I'm talking to you.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't fix some queeze. Like they asked me
- 42:58Speaker 3: to go back into my jeeps pull the spared tire on,
- 43:02Speaker 3: but I said it's not going to work.
- 43:03Speaker 12: I need that.
- 43:05Speaker 3: So she was like, I couldn't in good conscience put
- 43:08Speaker 3: you on that one because I don't think it's gonna leave.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Stick with your flight and said, okay, my flight gets
- 43:13Speaker 3: delayed thirty five minutes. I have a tight connection in Atlanta. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 3: as a result of that fucking zoo, I miss my connection.
- 43:24Speaker 3: When I get to Atlanta, I have to go on
- 43:25Speaker 3: the fucking tram as you always do. And then I'm running.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I'm running and running, and I get to the gate.
- 43:31Speaker 3: It was supposedly leaving at twelve twenty five. I get
- 43:34Speaker 3: there at twelve twenty three, and the woman said, you
- 43:37Speaker 3: missed it by five minutes. I said, okay, I read
- 43:40Speaker 3: book for one. Back to New York. Not bad. But
- 43:45Speaker 3: thunderstorms are descending upon the Atlanta Airport. I go to
- 43:51Speaker 3: the Delta lounge. I come back down to the gate.
- 43:53Speaker 3: They're boarding the plane. Half the flight gets onto the gangway,
- 43:59Speaker 3: the runway it on. No, it's not that gangway, sky plank,
- 44:04Speaker 3: the gang rip. Is it the skyplank? Now the gangplank?
- 44:10Speaker 3: What are you referring to that accordion like structure that
- 44:13Speaker 3: connects to the plane, the sky mall.
- 44:16Speaker 7: I think it's just called the fucking the tunnel.
- 44:19Speaker 3: No, the tube, it's not. There is a specific name
- 44:22Speaker 3: for it.
- 44:23Speaker 7: Yeah, it's the gangway. It's the gang bang. That's what
- 44:29Speaker 7: it's called. You had it right the first time.
- 44:35Speaker 3: There is a name for it. It's got gang and
- 44:40Speaker 3: way and sky something like that. All right, So halfway down.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Then the entire airport at Atlanta gets hit with the
- 44:55Speaker 3: ground stop. Every flight grounded because of the thunderstorms.
- 44:58Speaker 7: So did you get on where you?
- 45:00Speaker 3: No? Thank god no, I but everyone gets off and uh,
- 45:06Speaker 3: I'm like, wow, okay, this is starting to get shitty.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I finally get on the plane. Whatever they I go
- 45:13Speaker 3: back to the delta lounge. Then I they actually lift
- 45:16Speaker 3: the ground stop like an hour later, and we all bored,
- 45:21Speaker 3: and I'm thinking, fucking hell, we got to get out
- 45:23Speaker 3: of here because I think these sun storms are going
- 45:24Speaker 3: to keep coming. Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 9: Jet Bridge, jet Bridge, it's jet.
- 45:29Speaker 7: Bridge close to Gangway.
- 45:32Speaker 3: I was dead wrong. Yeah. I wasn't even on the
- 45:35Speaker 3: in the market. No, not even close, not even in
- 45:37Speaker 3: the air and one of the words. So I I
- 45:42Speaker 3: get on the plane and first of all, I had
- 45:44Speaker 3: a first class seat on my original flight. Ah, they
- 45:48Speaker 3: give me a new ticket.
- 45:49Speaker 9: As I scan it, it is a it is a
- 45:52Speaker 9: gangway though a raised platform or walkway providing a passage.
- 45:56Speaker 9: So that's a gangway.
- 45:58Speaker 3: I'll do gangway, but I like jet I can't accurate,
- 46:03Speaker 3: but I I know. I put my new boarding on
- 46:06Speaker 3: my phone.
- 46:06Speaker 7: I put it down on the thing that prince that
- 46:09Speaker 7: is in first class, no.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Coach, coach. But I said to myself, what would Harry
- 46:17Speaker 3: do right now? Harry would threaten to bomb the plane
- 46:23Speaker 3: if he doesn't get his first class seat, to which
- 46:26Speaker 3: he was originally assigned. I'm not gonna do that. I
- 46:31Speaker 3: don't do that. I'm not like Harry.
- 46:32Speaker 7: I paid for the first class seat, obviously, but.
- 46:35Speaker 3: I had been I had that is what. But barstool
- 46:37Speaker 3: booked me a first class seat. Okay, I had a
- 46:40Speaker 3: first class seat, and now I've been demoted.
- 46:43Speaker 7: Yeah, that's a day. Don't you don't do that.
- 46:44Speaker 3: That's not a thing. It is a thing, and it's
- 46:48Speaker 3: what happened. And I made no fuss with it. That's ridiculous,
- 46:52Speaker 3: And yeah, I'm so glad you're sticking to your screw.
- 46:55Speaker 9: Would you not say anything?
- 46:57Speaker 3: Because the I was on it? I had been reboked
- 47:00Speaker 3: on a new flight that was already like highly sold
- 47:03Speaker 3: that everyone had already got seats. No, it was the
- 47:07Speaker 3: same plane I would have been on, but all those
- 47:10Speaker 3: first class seats had already been given to people that
- 47:12Speaker 3: were like originally on that flight. Yeah, so the only
- 47:16Speaker 3: seats they had left to add me to were in coach.
- 47:19Speaker 7: So you got at you got moved to a coach
- 47:21Speaker 7: seat when you switched flights. Yes, yeah, that's happened to me.
- 47:25Speaker 7: That's I thought. I thought you were locked in on
- 47:28Speaker 7: first class on that flight.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Well I had, I had a first class seat, but
- 47:33Speaker 3: then I because I because I got rebooked, I no
- 47:37Speaker 3: longer had a first class seat, even though my boarding
- 47:39Speaker 3: passed at first class.
- 47:40Speaker 9: I feel like usually they'll be like, it's not gonna
- 47:42Speaker 9: be first class, and you gotta be like, I'll take anything,
- 47:45Speaker 9: just get me home. Did they have that? Did you
- 47:47Speaker 9: have that conversation?
- 47:48Speaker 6: No?
- 47:49Speaker 3: Damn, I just said that's okay.
- 47:51Speaker 7: What about what did like Frankie and all them do.
- 47:54Speaker 3: They weren't on my plane. They drove to Uh, they
- 47:57Speaker 3: drove to Augusta. Was there somes been masters?
- 48:00Speaker 7: Makes sense?
- 48:01Speaker 3: Yeah, But I I just sucked it up and said,
- 48:04Speaker 3: what that's fine. Guess where my seat was.
- 48:07Speaker 9: Were you sitting on the getting away?
- 48:08Speaker 3: No, I wish, well it was twenty five I was.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I was in the in the window seat directly in
- 48:18Speaker 3: line with the bathroom.
- 48:22Speaker 7: You like sitting there.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Bathroom's on the left. My row door opens. You know,
- 48:27Speaker 3: if if the door had opened while someone was going
- 48:29Speaker 3: to the bathroom. We would have had full.
- 48:31Speaker 7: View of it.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 9: Yeah, so you were hoping it would directly on right.
- 48:36Speaker 3: And I know this isn't a long story, but there
- 48:38Speaker 3: there is a point here. We start taxiing and everyone's
- 48:43Speaker 3: like excited because we thought. I thought I was going
- 48:45Speaker 3: to have to spend the night in Atlanta. I thought
- 48:48Speaker 3: these thunderstorms. I looked at the fucking it was pouring rain.
- 48:50Speaker 7: Yeah, you were trying to get a table at Magic City.
- 48:53Speaker 3: That's it. And I uh, I we're taxiing out. There's
- 49:03Speaker 3: a guy in the aisle seat and a woman to
- 49:06Speaker 3: my left. They're not together. The guy in the aisle
- 49:09Speaker 3: seat is wearing a mask. Yeah, so already I'm like,
- 49:12Speaker 3: this guy fucking sucks.
- 49:13Speaker 7: Yeah, he's got some disease.
- 49:17Speaker 9: Yeah, or he's trapped five years ago.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Right, So he we're taxiing and the pilot comes on
- 49:26Speaker 3: and he says, all right, like, good news is we're
- 49:28Speaker 3: gonna take off. Bad news is all the planes that
- 49:30Speaker 3: had been ground stopped are now vying for the one
- 49:33Speaker 3: runway and most of them are heading north. Yeah, and
- 49:35Speaker 3: we have to allow ten miles between planes, so we're
- 49:39Speaker 3: currently fifteenth for takeoff. Yeah. He goes it should take
- 49:43Speaker 3: on the low end, like twenty minutes or so. So
- 49:46Speaker 3: we're sitting there. It adds whatever, but it's okay. We
- 49:49Speaker 3: get close. We get to like number four. The guy
- 49:51Speaker 3: comes on again and he's like, all right, now we're
- 49:52Speaker 3: four for takeoff. Everybody, like, stewardesses or whatever, take your seats. Yeah.
- 49:59Speaker 4: The guy in the.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Stands up and goes into the bathroom.
- 50:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:05Speaker 7: Now they're saying we can't take off. Un most that
- 50:07Speaker 7: guy sits.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Now one of the stewardess. One of the stewardesses comes
- 50:09Speaker 3: on in the air and she goes, everybody please, the
- 50:12Speaker 3: seatbelt sign is on. Uh, we are actively taxiing. We're
- 50:16Speaker 3: about to take off, like, we cannot take off unless
- 50:20Speaker 3: everyone is in their seats. And if you do not
- 50:22Speaker 3: return to your seat, I will be forced to tell
- 50:25Speaker 3: the captain that you know, we have to stop. We
- 50:30Speaker 3: have now been delayed, I've missed flights. I'm ready to
- 50:33Speaker 3: fucking break the door down and rip this guy off
- 50:36Speaker 3: the toilet midshit. They like, sit the fuck down. You
- 50:40Speaker 3: are now causing an issue for everybody. We are all
- 50:43Speaker 3: about to get fucked because of you. A couple more
- 50:46Speaker 3: minutes go by, I'm getting angry. I'm doing one of
- 50:48Speaker 3: these looking around, like looking for other people who are angry.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Can you believe this guy? Finally he comes back out
- 50:59Speaker 3: and he sits down. I am not making this up.
- 51:03Speaker 3: We become we start moving again. We get to two
- 51:06Speaker 3: in the line. The woman oh stands up, undoes her
- 51:11Speaker 3: thing and stands up. At this point, I'm ready to be.
- 51:15Speaker 9: Like, are they together?
- 51:17Speaker 3: No?
- 51:18Speaker 9: It almost felt like she thought.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Because he had gone, it was all right for her
- 51:24Speaker 3: to go.
- 51:24Speaker 7: And you're in Atlanta.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but we're being given clear directions. They're not allowed
- 51:29Speaker 3: to do this. Races. I'll say what hers was she was.
- 51:37Speaker 3: I want to say Indian maybe, or perhaps Persian. She
- 51:41Speaker 3: had the henna tattoos on your hands? What is that?
- 51:46Speaker 9: I mean, I've seen it done in uh goodbye, But
- 51:50Speaker 9: I don't know if that.
- 51:52Speaker 7: Persians have notoriously small bladders.
- 51:58Speaker 9: Persian my Persian sisters outed off on this bigot. That's
- 52:02Speaker 9: not's not let him get away with.
- 52:03Speaker 3: That version way and uncommon. I don't know what the
- 52:12Speaker 3: I don't know where then, but she had that, she
- 52:14Speaker 3: had the handed tattoos, but no no other markings or
- 52:22Speaker 3: religious square or anything like that. The God. Luckily there
- 52:26Speaker 3: was a flight attendant sitting in front of the bathroom
- 52:30Speaker 3: and he saw her unbuckle and he goes, don't do it,
- 52:34Speaker 3: said that you don't do it?
- 52:36Speaker 9: Wait, who said? The guy across over?
- 52:38Speaker 3: The flight attendant who was sitting in the jump seat
- 52:41Speaker 3: against the front of the bathroom or like the back
- 52:44Speaker 3: of the bathroom, saw her get up and he goes,
- 52:46Speaker 3: don't do it. And so she she looks and she
- 52:49Speaker 3: sits back down. I'm like, I almost I swear to god,
- 52:54Speaker 3: I almost turned to her because we took alf we
- 52:57Speaker 3: took off three minutes later. I almost turned to and went,
- 53:01Speaker 3: what were you thinking? I wanted to ask her that.
- 53:06Speaker 3: I wanted so badly to say, what were you thinking?
- 53:10Speaker 3: Why would you have done that? We were we were
- 53:13Speaker 3: so clearly told not to do that as a result
- 53:18Speaker 3: of the guy next to us.
- 53:21Speaker 9: With the mask.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Yeah, how did you know? How did you know that
- 53:27Speaker 3: he did say his race? Yeah? Yeah, I couldn't tell
- 53:35Speaker 3: if he had had of tattoos or not. If he did,
- 53:39Speaker 3: he should have done him in like white phone negative
- 53:43Speaker 3: blank space tattoo. Anyway, so we take off, we reached
- 53:48Speaker 3: cruising altitude. She jumps up out of her seat and
- 53:51Speaker 3: goes to the bathroom. When she opened the door, I
- 53:56Speaker 3: was hit with a wave of poop that was beyond belief,
- 54:03Speaker 3: and I instantly forgave her. Yeah, she had to go
- 54:08Speaker 3: to the bathroom so badly. Yeah, and I thought, oh,
- 54:12Speaker 3: in a way, this justifies it. Yeah, because she.
- 54:16Speaker 9: Wasn't just having a cheeky pee. No, she was about
- 54:19Speaker 9: to fucking at least the gates of hell.
- 54:21Speaker 6: That's what people want, though, when you're when you're inconveniencing
- 54:24Speaker 6: someone with having to go to the bathroom, they're hoping
- 54:26Speaker 6: it's the worst shit you've ever taken.
- 54:28Speaker 9: It's like when there's a traffic jam on the highway
- 54:30Speaker 9: and you're like, till I'm better or died.
- 54:31Speaker 7: Yeah, it's like you better be your pants.
- 54:34Speaker 9: I had stopped the plane.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I had to breathe out of my mouth for five
- 54:40Speaker 3: straight bits. I turned I turned my air on, just
- 54:44Speaker 3: sitting next Yeah, and I felt bad. I mean, there's
- 54:48Speaker 3: everybody knows what had happened. Everybody's aware that it was her.
- 54:53Speaker 3: It is what it is. Uh, But yeah, and I
- 54:56Speaker 3: know I immediately thought of your joke.
- 55:00Speaker 6: Well one, oh, the girl shitting next to me on
- 55:04Speaker 6: the plane, Yes, of course it's an original.
- 55:08Speaker 7: It's one of my first jokes.
- 55:09Speaker 3: That's not a shoomery.
- 55:11Speaker 10: Now I wrote that one. It's not a Oh yeah,
- 55:15Speaker 10: actually I wrote that one. Oh my god, what did
- 55:22Speaker 10: she show? Signs of shame?
- 55:25Speaker 3: Now she opened her laptop and started working, and then
- 55:28Speaker 3: I watched her work for a while. That's like that.
- 55:31Speaker 7: I've told that story about gardening on the plane.
- 55:33Speaker 3: I'm ensure that she was actually doing work and not
- 55:35Speaker 3: just covering up to the fact that she had just
- 55:38Speaker 3: quite quite literally blown up the plane. I mean it smelled,
- 55:43Speaker 3: it was so bad. It was so bad. And then
- 55:46Speaker 3: the guy on the left opened up a tupperware thing
- 55:50Speaker 3: of leftovers and he had a filet of salmon, and
- 55:55Speaker 3: the smell of that with her it kind of it
- 56:00Speaker 3: kind of started convincing me that it was more food
- 56:02Speaker 3: than poop. Yeah, and I got over it because I
- 56:05Speaker 3: was not feeling well.
- 56:05Speaker 7: Eventually, if you're on the plane long off, the smells
- 56:08Speaker 7: kind of just blend together.
- 56:09Speaker 9: Yeah, and you had a weekend, a full week of
- 56:13Speaker 9: living it up with Jerry and shit like that.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll probably you were probably pretty hugover. I wasn't hungover, really,
- 56:20Speaker 3: but I didn't feel great. I mean, yeah, we didn't you.
- 56:23Speaker 7: Hitting the cocktails pretty hard this weekend. The cocktail weekend,
- 56:28Speaker 7: uh transfusions.
- 56:29Speaker 9: I don't really drink those mid julip It's more of
- 56:32Speaker 9: mid julyp season down in Georgia. Yeah, immense shoe lip.
- 56:36Speaker 7: I've told the story about guard Winning.
- 56:37Speaker 6: Guardini told me about when he was sitting in first
- 56:39Speaker 6: class and he had to take a shit and he
- 56:42Speaker 6: got out, he got off, he got out of the
- 56:44Speaker 6: bathroom and he sat down on his plane and there
- 56:46Speaker 6: was the flight attendant was just staring right at him
- 56:49Speaker 6: because she was sitting at the in the jump seat
- 56:51Speaker 6: by the bathroom. And then she looked, she made direct
- 56:54Speaker 6: eye contact with him, and the getting pulled out perfume
- 56:57Speaker 6: and then just started spraying, well just airing right at him.
- 57:03Speaker 9: Well, I think that's the same type of things when
- 57:06Speaker 9: people get mad at babies for crying on a plane. Okay,
- 57:12Speaker 9: So if you guys were gonna have your first gay
- 57:14Speaker 9: experience with someone in the bostool office, would.
- 57:17Speaker 7: You prefer to be a straight guy or a gay guy?
- 57:21Speaker 6: Hey, guy, yeah, because for a gay guy, that's just
- 57:24Speaker 6: another gay experience.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Well, they can walk me through it.
- 57:27Speaker 6: It was just I just fucked a straight dude. Then
- 57:29Speaker 6: you're ending up in the white loaded situation where you're like,
- 57:32Speaker 6: can we just never fucking talk about that ever?
- 57:36Speaker 9: Definitely a great guy because.
- 57:39Speaker 6: Tommy is a gay guy. It's not your first time fucking, though.
- 57:47Speaker 6: You still know how to fuck, so you.
- 57:52Speaker 7: Experience.
- 57:53Speaker 6: No, I think it's a I think you go assuming
- 57:56Speaker 6: it's something that I'm gonna feel immense shame about afterwards.
- 57:58Speaker 3: I mean, you're out in the wood olderness. It's like saying,
- 58:01Speaker 3: do I want my if I go summitt Everest and
- 58:03Speaker 3: I have no hiking experience, do I want.
- 58:06Speaker 6: You think fucking a gay guy is the same thing
- 58:07Speaker 6: as summoning Everest.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Same exact thing. Yeah, it's scary, it's new. Yeah, you're
- 58:15Speaker 3: out of breath.
- 58:15Speaker 6: A rush, it's a rush like no other.
- 58:21Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Do you want an experienced sherpa
- 58:25Speaker 3: to guide you up the mountain or do you want
- 58:27Speaker 3: another guy who's like, boy, I've never I've never even
- 58:30Speaker 3: been outside.
- 58:32Speaker 6: Good question. No, as a straight male, you'd hope it's awful.
- 58:39Speaker 3: I think I want it. Yeah, if I know it's
- 58:43Speaker 3: gonna be the only time I do it, I want
- 58:45Speaker 3: it to be as good as it could be. I
- 58:47Speaker 3: want it to be the best.
- 58:48Speaker 6: That's the probably won't be the only time you do it.
- 58:51Speaker 6: If it's if it's great.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Why do you say that?
- 58:53Speaker 6: You don't know that, because if you fuck a dude
- 58:56Speaker 6: and you're like, this is way better than fucking girls,
- 58:58Speaker 6: you're probably gonna keep fucking dudes.
- 59:00Speaker 3: Well, not necessarily, I mean I think I think it
- 59:02Speaker 3: could still be good, but ultimately I do prefer vadge.
- 59:08Speaker 6: How do you know you never fu asked? I don't.
- 59:12Speaker 3: You never as Yeah, I was gonna say, you don't
- 59:14Speaker 3: know how much ass I've been in.
- 59:18Speaker 6: I mean, if you're fucking you over clap cheeks ass. No,
- 59:21Speaker 6: not for me, never been in there.
- 59:23Speaker 10: No.
- 59:24Speaker 9: It's funny when a yeah I get some ass tonight
- 59:28Speaker 9: getting asked because you don't know how much ass they've got.
- 59:32Speaker 9: But it is an interesting question. Sound off in the
- 59:34Speaker 9: comments if you'd rather have their first sexual experience?
- 59:40Speaker 6: Well that kind of that kind of loops back in
- 59:41Speaker 6: the white lotus they Yeah, do we ever? Do we
- 59:47Speaker 6: talk about that? I don't think we did.
- 59:53Speaker 3: You called the uh, you called the blender being a
- 59:58Speaker 3: major piece. You did.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: That.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: I knew that well, no, you did call it the
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: blender was a major piece that that ended up being
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: nothing for some reason. Well, like that didn't make any
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: that they could not have been a less of a
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: ending to that's plot line.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: I don't agree with that.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: He killed that he killed his kid, and then they.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Tried to He almost killed his whole family except for
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: the one he accidentally. Yeah, he was trying to save
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: because that that kid was pure. He is the one.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: He wasn't member of the family.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: I think the point was that he was there, the
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: creepiest one.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: No, the whole point.
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: No, But I think like that as the viewer, it
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: was kind of like, oh, he's just he's saving the
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: wrong kid. That kid's fucked.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: No, No, off his brother because he's a people pleaser.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: It's a freak.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: He said, you like coming, you like getting off. I
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: just wanted to do nice things for you. Yeah, now
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: that that fucked that kid, he was the only one
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: who was willing to live with nothing.
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: I was pissed when his eyes opened back up close
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: him and he needs more protein. He needs more protein. Shake.
- 1:01:16Speaker 14: A lot of people got bad to them, and a
- 1:01:21Speaker 14: lot of the bad people had.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: Like were absolved.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I just didn't understand, like everything felt rushed, like
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: the the the Dad's gonna kill the entire family, great
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: build up, You're like, holy shit, this is almost I
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: was like, this is almost too dark, this is fucked.
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: I thought it was gonna happen. There was twenty minutes
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: left in the episode. I didn't think there was gonna
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: be another twist, which there was. Why they let in.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: They let Walter Goggins go on like a shooting spree
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: at the end. Walter Goggins, what's his name, Walton? He's
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: just always so close, but not who gives a fuck? Walton? No,
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: he let Walton Goggins go on the shooting spree. Two
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: things that didn't make sense. The only endings that made
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: sense were Greg and the lady getting all the money
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: and then Walton Goggins. I guess his ending made sense,
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: but who gave Who gives a fuck about his ending?
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: The only I only I think the only thing anyone
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: wanted to see was what was gonna happen with the family,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: and then the he almost kills the family, the family
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: doesn't die, and then he kills his son, and then
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: his son comes back to life. The dad's crying and
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: then it cuts to the next scene and they're on
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: the boat, like we never even saw like the family
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: learning that.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I think the whole point is that all of that
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: needed to happen for the dad to be okay with
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: the fact that his family was about to find out
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: about his financial clusterfuck and he said, we're gonna be
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: able to get through this as a family.
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: I guess yeah. But then even like the see of
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: the three women, like so they were pretty much in
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: a mass shooting, and then it cuts to them that
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: the next time we see them, they're on the boat,
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: smile and laughing, looking at Instagram like there was just
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: a time to go back on the boat. Two dudes
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: to two dudes that we've been hanging out with the
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: entire week just died next to us.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: But what.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: I guess the security guys. But if you were on
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: vacation and you were leaving vacation and then two dudes
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: next to you got shot and fell into the water,
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: you think you'd be on the flight home being like,
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: what a vacation, what a great week? That was crying
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: because of how great the week was. The Only thing
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: that I guess, the only thing that could have been
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: better is if those two dudes didn't get killed next
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: to us while we were leaving the hotel.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Look, I think the whole show is a little far fetched, right,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Isn't that the point?
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: No, I don't think it is, Like I feel like
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: it's not that far fetched if it didn't end that way.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: Everything at the end was far fetched.
- 1:04:03Speaker 13: I thought that I liked the series a lot, and
- 1:04:05Speaker 13: I think that people like really want White Loads.
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: To be like I don't know, I don't even know
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: what they want it to be, but they wanted to
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: be perfect in their mind or I don't know. I
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: thought it was just like such an interesting character study,
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: and like the dynamics of the women's relationship isn't like
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: lost because the ending did it like fit together like
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: a perfect puzzle piece. Like I thought that like all
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: the women together were like such interesting character studies on
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: like female friendship.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: I thought that.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: I loved it. I loved it.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: I think it's you it lined to yourself.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: I think it's the most visually stimulating show. I think
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: the colors, the clarity, whatever fucking cameras they're using. I
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: don't understand how that show can look that way, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: all of those shows don't look anything close to it.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: Do you have any thoughts on that? What's going on there?
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: What long lenses? Lots of stuff is blurred soft focus? Mmmm.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Season rankings, uh.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: One, two, three.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: I didn't think that I liked them all. Honestly, I
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: think i'd go one three two.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: I thought that the third season the entire time, like
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: I have the exact same take as Tommy where it's
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: like the whole season, I was like, this is great.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: I loved the actual season, and then the finale I
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: was like, this doesn't make any sense. Really, I didn't
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: like I didn't understand like the security, Like the Walton
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: Goggins thing didn't make sense to me because the secure
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: why were the security guards Like that didn't make sense.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: I thought their job is to take care.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: Of those two the people that own the hotel, and
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: the when Walton Goggins was within ten feet of them,
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: after he's gotten multiple arguments with the dude, they're just
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: gonna like take a stroll.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: I thought that the dad, the scene where he sort
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: of cryptically old man says, oh I knew your dad.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: Your dad wasn't such a good guy after all. It's like, dude,
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: you're are you're really referring to yourself in hindsight that
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: you're gonna you're gonna.
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: Help out loud on that when he was like, he
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: is your dad? Yeah, that Star Wars.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: What are we talking? Yeah, it was a little far fetched.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I I did think that that was an unknown it was.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: It felt so trite to me.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: It just didn't make It was just an unnecessary twist.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you're like, you're really trying to shoehorn that classic
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: whatever edipole thing in there.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: He is your dad? No, Like that's what That's the
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: reaction that Mike White was hoping for from the audience
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: that we were gonna be like, it is his dad?
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: Who was the dad the whole time?
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: Probably IQs out there that were fucking you just expect
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: everybody to experience it at your level.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: There were probably some people who worked out.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: I just feel like the dad's the dad's plot line
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: was easily the bet. Like that family was the best
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: plot line the entire time, and terribly I think it
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: was an interesting plot line. Yeah, the plot line was great.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Okay, different question. Do you think anything from this season
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: was set up for the next season, and if so,
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: what which characters? Which characters might carry over.
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: I thought it was interesting that who is who's the
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: sister's name got the.
- 1:07:28Speaker 11: Bag was.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Talking about?
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: Was it?
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Yeah? Was it Belinda? Belinda?
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: She was in both seasons. I think. I think she
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: was in the second two.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: Wasn't she? She wasn't in season two because she worked with.
- 1:07:49Speaker 9: But she got left behind in the first season because
- 1:07:51Speaker 9: she wanted to start a business and then the rich person.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: Left, and then that dude at the end wanted to
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: start the business.
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: Of him coming back.
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: Yeah, maybe parallel Greg now the guy that worked at
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: the oh.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she was fugs in mm hmm.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: His sweet Asian bond and then he did look good.
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: Uh if you're if we're talking stuff. They rushed at
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: the end, the guy talk immediately being like the driver
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: with sunglasses on as they lead the scene of the crime.
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: Like that was a little bit fast too, that he.
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: Was already her body.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: The only did was shoot one guy in the back.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: Well, I guess all the other security guards died.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but she had to tell him twenty times shoot him,
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: kill him, shoot him, kill him. I don't think that's
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: what you want.
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: But I thought he was being a bit of a
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: pussy guy talk do the girl from Black Pink.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Yeah, she's she's so pretty. I love her, Mook Connor
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Mook's Oh yeah, I didn't. I didn't like how class
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: she was. She was so classist. She only liked him
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: when she thought he was ascending.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: The Russian brothers got away.
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: I would have liked to.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: There was no resolution to that. I thought. I thought them,
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: you know, having robbed the hotel would turn into a
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: more of an important plot moment, you would think.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: But they decided, they decided we're just gonna not touch that.
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: And guy talks Fuck, he asked me not to tell her.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna quit. Yeah, this is too hard and
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: Valentine mm hm, back shots.
- 1:09:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know. I thought the last two episodes
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: were stinkers. I thought the opposite for Severance. I thought
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: Severance season dog shit finale, incredible.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: What is that? What was that? Said? Some chills Chili.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: I was worried. It's a full body that was like
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: when you're about to fall asleep.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Mm hmmm.
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: It was a full body jerk.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Yeah, I love them.
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: Spectrum, the season is amazing.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: Well, we're watching I'm watching the studio now, The Studio.
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: Is also amazing.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: All three episodes in Phenomenal.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Haven't started it. There's that much time to watch too.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Was Gordon Lightfoot in that? Or is it in White
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: Lotus finale? I can't remember? You know that song?
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: You know it's a phenomenal movie here, Baul, I don't
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: the good Shepherd.
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: Good movie.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: I'm watching it again, seen it nine times.
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: We're talking for for TV.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: If you didn't watch movies so many, you're probably right
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: about that, you could watch the Studio. But I've also
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: I'm reading the Grant biography and I actually feel like
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: it's it's like a cup of water that never ends,
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: Like I think pages are getting added as I keep reading.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: I don't feel like I'm any closer. Yeah, I don't
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: think I'm any closer to the end now than I
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: am than I was two weeks ago. And I've read
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: hundreds of pages.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: Yeah, how long is the book?
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: Nine hundred and sixty pages? Damn?
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: It's when reading feels like a chore like that, Like
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: I'm not saying you're saying it's going like a chore.
- 1:11:36Speaker 9: It is now, but you like have to feel like
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: you have to get through something to a car or something.
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: It just feels counterintuitive to what should be an enjoyable activity.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: You know, what's comforting about this book in some weird way,
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: is that the same level of like hatred and sort
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: of blaming the other party for the nation's ills existed
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: in eighteen seventy, probably obviously because it's right after the
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Civil War, as do today, but all the sort of like,
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: you know, they've got the power, they're fucking it up,
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: We're gonna try to take over and blame them for everything. Stuff.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: It's the same. It's been the same way forever.
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: The United States of like all.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Cultures and countries and just human nature and politics. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: so in a weird way, you know, you think to yourself,
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: for some reason, I often romanticize past presidential run whatever tenures,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: and I think that there was a time when our
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: country was a little more healed or cohesive. And I
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: think that I don't know if that's ever been the case.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: I don't know if it's ever.
- 1:12:54Speaker 9: You've multiple own count politics.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, revol War War. I wonder if there was ever
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: a time Vietnam when the party that was not in
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: the presidency or not in power or whatever was able
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: to just like more the majority of the non powered
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: party was able to say, yeah, they're not our guys,
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: but you know what they're doing. A pretty damn good job,
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: was was the left under Reagan saying he's pretty good.
- 1:13:31Speaker 13: When times are like that, like people start to hyper
- 1:13:35Speaker 13: fixate on things that really don't matter, and they put
- 1:13:38Speaker 13: them like at a really high level of importance, and
- 1:13:41Speaker 13: people will start arguing about like video games and ship
- 1:13:45Speaker 13: like that.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: Would like the video games are.
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: Making the kids violent. Yeah, It's like things have to
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: be going pretty fucking good for you to be zeroing
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: your focus.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: On something that's Reagan was big on drugs. He was
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: huge on drugs. Yeah, you know, the war on drugs,
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: keeping keeping drugs out of our kids, Nancy Reagan. I
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: think that was her whole platform.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: Yeah, they were putting people and giving people like life
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: in prison for like having a gram of weed.
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: And then Clinton, you know, pretty pretty good president. I
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: would say similar, right affair. But I also remember people
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: were pretty like miffed about the way he handled the
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: the Bosnian Herzegovina War that the Serbian.
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: To give a fuck about that, Jeff, you're about the Bosnians.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: I think that just a minute I'm about to bust.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Fdr. FDR would be the guy where the whole country
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: was like, yeah, we're behind you. That's because of a war.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: In times of war, the country does get behind the president.
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: Makes sense because they were probably sick.
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: Fucking Herbert Hoover.
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: And fucking so I like Col.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: Calvin Coolidge fucking chicken in every pot in my ass.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: Hoover damn straight Hoover.
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: Chicken in every pot.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: He didn't have a chicken breast, and then.
- 1:15:17Speaker 9: He was like, let them eat cake.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Let the meat cake. Fucking big city you were I
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: think she was chesty or no.
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: The coop champagne glass is supposedly modeled to Marie Antoinette's breast.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Is that so?
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: I heard that she had a very thin breast, thin
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: and sharp. The friends at that time, they were putting
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: their titties out, Oh a big time.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: So you can get a portrait of Marie Antoinette thin breast.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like a tube if it's modeled after the
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: champagne top.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: No, it's not. That's not that. It's not that. It's
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: not a champagne coop a flute. Champagne flute is the
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: champagne glass a coop. Is the round one that yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: it's round sides of the thin stem. Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: I mean that's a low cut shirt for Marie Antoinette.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: None of our first ladies had tit out like that,
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: none ever has.
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: She's got broad chest.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: What do you mean, like a broad chest?
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: Like a broad She's a broad chest, like she has
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: a broad chest, big wide?
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: Are you a tits guy? Sas? Do you like tits?
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: Love tits?
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: Who doesn't?
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: Man? I go back and forth because I like butt too,
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: I guess, but it's not bad.
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: I guess Malania has some racing pictures, does she? But
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: will it go down?
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: Those go down in history as like the most known images.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: Of her Milennia.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: I haven't seen Millennia as racy photos like maxim.
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: Like, do you think that people will be like, oh,
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: the Americans.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: And the boy? Imagine how much puss Baron Trump is
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: getting these days in college seven feet tall, going to NYU. Yeah,
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: but it's like he's he's the bad boy.
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: Do you know what I mean?
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: Yu, I don't know if he's getting any puss.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Why do you say that he's in the city. He's
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: thrown down his black card at up and down on Tuesdays.
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: NYU kids are like the most liberal people on the plant.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: That's my point. He's the forbidden fruit. Damn.
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: Wow, you're able to get those nudes of Milania Trump
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: up a lot faster than you were able to get
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: the Robert de Niro photo.
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: My wife said that I should you.
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: After what you said last week.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: About our children. Good. Interesting agreed.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: So this is fake. I can throw it away.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:18:09Speaker 11: You want.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: You really don't.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: When you were gone, he goes, I have a he goes,
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: I go, so what happened? I was like, you actually
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: met Roberts in their and he goes, yeah, and then
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: he goes, he told the story. He goes, he comes,
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: he gave me a pat on the back, and then
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: he goes, we took a photo on someone else's phone.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: I was here for all of this. You weren't paying attention.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: Now you're playing checks. I'll want me to finish the story.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Or took the photo on my wife's phone? And uh,
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: you said, why didn't you put it up on Instagram? No?
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: I said, no, I didn't. I never said that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: You said why didn't you? Who who takes a photo?
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: And doesn't whoa put it changer. I had a little
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: bit of a frog in my throat.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Tell but no, he said, uh, we took the photo.
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: I said, can I see the photo? He said, I
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: don't have the photo. And I said, well, then why
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: did you? I said, you phrased it like you said
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: that you weren't able to get the photo. The way
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: that you phrased it, you made it seem like you
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: were giving yourself insurance to be like if I asked
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: to see the photo, she said, see, let me see exactly,
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: because you didn't mean you didn't meet Robert de Niro.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: This is you're the boy cried wolf. You understand what
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: you've got yourself into. This isn't this isn't on me,
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: This is on you.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: I can't believe if he if he is telling the truth,
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: you're being very very rude.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Right, But no, I understand that. Yeah, I agree with that,
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: but you also have to understand there's a I think
- 1:19:42Speaker 6: there's still a good chance that this is fake.
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: Robert de Niro might have the best character in The
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: Good Shepherd. Can I say this, I'll say something here,
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: look up his signature watching that movie. That's a good idea.
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: I wished that I had gone to Yale instead of Harvard, really,
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: because I would have been in Skull and Bones, that's
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: the acting thing, or that's the the secret society. My
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: grandfather was in it, really and went straight to the CIA.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: I've told that story before. Do you know there's only
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: twelve people in each secret society total? Yeah? I think
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: it's twelve or six Maybe it's sixteen. I'm pretty surety.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: I think knowing that like my cousin, my grandfather had
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: been in it and the way I was, I would
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: think that I would have probably been in it, and
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: that would have been pretty cool. To the tables down
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: at Moy's.
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: Was he in a rush? Was he in a rush?
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: Probably is having a hard time finding his signature?
- 1:20:52Speaker 9: Find it?
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: This one looks pretty similar.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: Yeah, sh I, I believe at all. I believe this one.
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna go ahead.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: Don't look anything like it.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna believe this one, hair Ball. I think you
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: need to anything, you need to relinquish the fight here.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: That does this looks similar?
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: If there's anyone that's similar, then it is to one fucking.
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: Insane Because last time you, last time you told me this,
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: you said you said you did blow with Jake Jillenhall.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: And then I went and told everyone I know, and
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: the next thing I know, it's on the barstool home page,
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: and I'm getting called a fucking retard. Yes, they did.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: The whole joke was, oh, look how dumb he is.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: He believed something one of his friends told.
- 1:21:46Speaker 9: Him from all and would put it all over TikTok,
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: and people believed it as a real Jake Jillenhall story.
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: They're like, look at what Jake Jillenhall did. It was
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: on there's on like individual tiktoks getting hundreds of thousands.
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: Of uploads votes.
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: Right ahead.
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: I've been on r slash mock draft.
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: I got to see the photo. I'm gonna have to
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: get the photo. Should I call the restaurant to said,
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: put Bobby on, let me talk to Bobby.
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: It's Marty.
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: It's scorse.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: Put Marty on the fucking photo.
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: Put Bobby on. Taxi driver to.
- 1:22:43Speaker 9: Do you girl?
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: Biddy rates rose up.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: That's Bobby what he thinks? Stump to call me back?
- 1:22:52Speaker 9: Everything morning, your voice.
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: A frog in your I just woke up eight pm
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: doing a totally inaccurate Martin Martin Scorsese impression.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: Uh huh, getting over something.
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: You tell Bobby and call me as urchin.
- 1:23:19Speaker 9: Right away, mister, I always thought it was.
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: I think it is. The show studio reference paper Atlanta
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: is so funny, Yeah, very hilarious.
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: One of my top comedians. And notice I didn't say
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: top female comedians.
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: Top overall, top overall. Now why would you?
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: I loved them all together, frauds, joke piece.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: I put them all in the grades. It doesn't matter.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: That's why she was up there too.
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: I would have this weekend caught ten trout. Wow, got
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: to use that row that that dude, I got to
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: use my new rod Patron rods. Sh was insane, like, good,
- 1:24:10Speaker 6: this is real.
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: I don't believe that this rod is actually what the
- 1:24:14Speaker 9: guy says.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: Patron hasn't lied to me. He's got you there, Patron
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: hasn't lied to me multiple times, made me look like
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: it made me look like a fool.
- 1:24:25Speaker 9: You just sature.
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: You would, That's something you would do. You would absolutely do.
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: You would look up the signature and you would do
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: it like you probably took like eight of these cards
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: home and then you just sat in your living room
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: just practicing the signature for an hour. You would do that,
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: you would, but is that not something he would do?
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: I agree would do.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: He loves a good caprice.
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: Yeah, and uh, I can you not imagine, Roan.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: There's a reason our neutral party.
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: Here pretending to write down roberts and Nero's signature for

- 1:25:13Speaker 6: I thought it was like a funny gift to give
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: to you because it's fake.
- 1:25:18Speaker 9: No, because robertson Niro instead of like making it about

- 1:25:33Speaker 6: But if it's faith, then I'm gonna throw it away
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: because I'm not gonna keep a piece of paper that
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: you signed yourself. It's just like the idea of Roan
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: sitting in his apartment. I know you can see it.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: Wife's asleep. He's just watching fucking he's watching college basketball.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: His fingers are stinking from he's got tried seven got them.
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: The left hand just covered an ink.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: There's a a wax candle that's dripped down to the
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: fucking nub. It's not it just throwing them over his
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: shoulder is a pile of.
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: Can you not see run walking out of restaurants seeing this?
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: Seeing it, says Denir on it and grabbing like a
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: stack of them. Not he doesn't even know what he's
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: gonna do with them yet, but he grabs the stack. Yes,
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: it's absolutely something you would do. I don't even believe
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: that you did it, Like in the moment, I think
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: you just took the stack, Like I think you were
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: walking out you saw this and you're like, I'm gonna
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: take a couple of these, and then you took them,
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: and then you were like I'm gonna write, Yeah, you
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: might have to hereall.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: Can you do me a favorite? Though?
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: Okay, in the event that that is real, I'd like
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: you to stop handling it so much because I think
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: that it will lose value the more that you touch it.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Right now, it's like a PSA six and we need
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: to keep that before you know any any lower. I
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: want us to frame that. Let's put it in one
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: of those car protectors, and now I have one with me.
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: Could you want to see both sides? You want to
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: see Bobby's artwork, and you want to see there was. Yeah,
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: I'm gonna have to bring this to a pawn chop
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: or something. Yeah, get it checked.
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: Verified, bring it back to the restaurant.
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: So he just hangs out there all the time.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: They said that he was going to specifically be there there.
- 1:27:28Speaker 9: I mean, I don't know what more factors of verification
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: he wants other than the I showed you the text messages.
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: You did show me the text messages, but you didn't
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: show me the photo, which is raising concern my wife.

- 1:27:47Speaker 6: I can't be true.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: Dude. You don't understand. Man, What do I not understand
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: when you said that joke hilarious, hilarious, but comes comes
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: with a big costs.
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: It was so funny.
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: There's a lot of questions that that are.
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: Like last for everybody.
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: But if your if your wife hated me, she probably
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: you probably wouldn't have asked for the signature. But like
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: you're gonna bring that up in front of your wife
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: fresh off her designing to hate me. You're gonna ask
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: Roberts and you're to sign a card for me. But
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: your but your wife hates me. And what you guys
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: got you went into a separate room. He took you
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: to the private room.
- 1:28:41Speaker 14: So our table was up against uh, like a half wall.
- 1:28:46Speaker 14: I'm on this seat, my white friend's here, my wife's across.
- 1:28:50Speaker 14: He comes up over this shoulder and there's this half
- 1:28:53Speaker 14: wall and he signed it on there.
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: Wasn't like me asking my wife over there.

- 1:29:12Speaker 6: that far. I'm being a doubting Thomas for sure.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: I think that if Roan were not known for high jinks,
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: then you would still find a way to not be
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: appreciative of that gift to are you? Is there any thing?
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Is there anything that you can think of that either
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: of us have done for you or given to you
