  SPEAKER_00: Well, hey there.
• 0:29
  SPEAKER_00: How are you doing?
• 0:30
  SPEAKER_05: I'm good.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_05: I chuckle every time I see that cartoon version of myself.
• 0:33
SPEAKER_00: I needed to, I keep finding ways to reuse it and to put it back in.
• 0:38
SPEAKER_00: I found another spot for it.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I love that thing so much.
• 0:43
SPEAKER_00: I don't like the only thing I don't like is that it looks like I mean we did it deliberately deliberately because we were doing a Christmas special.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_00: So we were was at the Christmas stuff that we were gonna like duke it out or yeah, I think that's what it was.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, we just loved it so much.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_00: But generally speaking, we really don't duke it out like hardly ever.
• 1:01
  SPEAKER_00: Like it's pretty rare.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, super rare.
• 1:04
SPEAKER_05: We probably should argue more.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_05: It'd probably be better for the show, maybe.
• 1:07
  SPEAKER_05: I think.
• 1:07
SPEAKER_00: I know people would like to see that.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_00: Isn't that sad that that's kind of what what sells, so to speak, that you yeah.
• 1:14
  SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, guys.
• 1:15
  SPEAKER_00: We're just conflict, right?
• 1:17
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:18
  SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_00: We are just uh not conflict-driven people, at least not with each other.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you give us a reason, I'm sure both of us have no problem bringing the heat.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_05: Well, hang around to the end of the show, folks.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_05: There's a comment in there that uh Elsa got a little riled up about.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_05: So if you hang around to the end, after we go through our five or six topics we've got, and uh Elsa's got uh she got a little riled up on one of the comments, then uh so hang around till the end, but uh we'll get started right after this.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_01: From the Super Bowl's political fireworks to kill and kidnapping history, we're diving into foreign meddling politics, the creeping socialism later.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_01: California's tax trap might be.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the out-to-day late.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_00: All right, so yeah, we got a whole bunch of good stuff.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, I am weirdly excited to talk about um this, considering the fact that I didn't watch any of it.
• 2:13
SPEAKER_00: I went to a Super Bowl show.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_00: I went to a show, went to a Super Bowl party, didn't watch a single second of it.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, was enjoying some great conversations, some ridiculously good, bad choices, food.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, so weird that I'm excited to talk about it.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, as everybody knows, the Super Bowl just wrapped up with the Seahawks steamrolling.
• 2:34
  SPEAKER_00: The Patriots 29 to 13.
• 2:35
  SPEAKER_00: Is that a steamrolling?
• 2:36
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's a steamrolling.
• 2:37
  SPEAKER_05: I don't know the game was.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_05: If you watched the game, first of all, the first half was potentially the most boring uh half of Super Bowl football in history.
• 2:45
SPEAKER_00: I did hear that circulating, yeah.
• 2:47
  SPEAKER_05: 12-0 at halftime.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, talking to texting with my friends, I was at a Super Bowl party as well and texting with friends all over the country, all over the world, and and uh, you know, we were talking about who bet on what, and uh a lot of the guys who the the point the overunder for betting if you're a better was 45 total points.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_05: And uh I had a bunch of friends to bet the over.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_05: I said at halftime, I was like, probably not gonna hit that, and they didn't.
• 3:11
SPEAKER_05: So yeah, um, but the first half was boring, uh, very boring, and then uh and then we rolled into halftime.
• 3:18
  SPEAKER_00: How about that?
• 3:19
SPEAKER_00: Was that I mean, was that was there something interesting about that?
• 3:22
SPEAKER_05: Was it uh well it it depends on who you are and where you were sitting?
• 3:26
SPEAKER_00: It does very much depend on all of that.
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_00: So true.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: Uh so yeah, the real tackle came from Dirty Rabbit.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, I mean Bad Bunny, uh his little halftime show where he was uh waving the Puerto Rican flags and slamming ice, and people were um twerking all up against each other and blah, blah, blah.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_00: Um most of the conservatives, from what I understand, or at least a lot of them, tuned into Turning Point USA's counter halftime show with uh Kid Rock and a bunch of other artists, and it was uh dubbed as the you know the patriotic uh America uh celebration, uh, which got you know great reviews, great um ratings.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: Uh compared, you know, comparatively, no, the halftime had like I think it was like a 125 million versus I think ultimately uh 50 million, they hit 50 million streams, um which is a big hit for the, I mean, that's a big hit on um the NFL.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: Uh I saw lots of video of people um just kind of recording, like that were at bars and stuff watching, and nobody was paying even an ounce of attention to the screen.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_00: There was one that I saw where the uh owners were, you know, they were kind of they had both sides of the the aisle there.
• 4:43
SPEAKER_00: Half of the people wanted one halftime show, the other half wanted the other.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: So he uh played neutral and he put some TVs with TPUSA and the others with the NFL halftime.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_00: Um, and the the big thing about that was that the people who wanted uh TPUSA didn't really say anything at all about the uh bad bunny show happening on the other side of the room versus the people watching the bad bunny halftime uh gave this bar and this owner like went right away to um, I don't know, Google reviews or Yelp and was giving them like one star and trash, you know, like just being absolute jerks.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: But you know, there's all that.
• 5:24
  SPEAKER_04: That's what they do.
• 5:25
SPEAKER_00: That's what they do, you know, and they they definitely um they're consistent.
• 5:29
  SPEAKER_00: They're consistent.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: But about this um dirty rabbit, I mean, so this is the guy that they um you know promoted as being this wonderful thing.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_00: This is obviously not his uh halftime show footage, but this is just a little taste of of um some of the things that he does and the way he presents himself.
• 5:50
  SPEAKER_00: So that's charming.
• 5:51
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's sweet, very wholesome, very American, very um value driven.
• 5:57
  SPEAKER_00: It's awesome, right?
• 5:59
SPEAKER_04: So at the Super Bowl party you were at, what what did what did they do?
• 6:04
  SPEAKER_00: Um ignored it.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that was a perfect time.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_00: Everybody just well, so we left like right around then.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_00: We stayed, we were there for maybe like the first, I don't know, a few minutes, I guess, uh of that.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_00: But that was like kind of our like cue that we were ready to leave, uh, regardless of the show.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_00: It actually had nothing to do with the show.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_00: It was just time to head home.
• 6:20
SPEAKER_00: Um, but as we were leaving, I think there were maybe three people watching it.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_00: And um I I think just simply out of curiosity, like what's the big uh what's the big fuss all about?
• 6:31
SPEAKER_00: But mostly everybody used that as the time to like go for the bathroom break, to go grab some more food, to have your conversations, which in fairness is fairly typical, I think, of any halftime um event.
• 6:45
SPEAKER_00: You know, that's that's when you do that stuff.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_00: So this did not, let's put it this way, I don't think that this drew attention um from viewers any more so than any previous show, and most likely even less.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_00: Um you know, here's the thing for me uh the obvious is is that the whole spectacle alienated fans, which I think is profoundly stupid.
• 7:09
SPEAKER_00: Instead of using this opportunity to um unite people, like here's a crazy thought.
• 7:15
SPEAKER_00: Let's do something that unites everyone.
• 7:17
SPEAKER_00: Let's do something that's totally neutral, that everybody can get on board for.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know what that is at this point in time, but at least make the effort.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_00: Instead, they double down, they're like, we're gonna do um whatever we can to offend and and bother uh at least half of the population, half of our viewership, which is so weird to me.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_00: Like you're you're trying to piss off uh paying uh patrons.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_00: Like it's such a weird choice to me.
• 7:46
SPEAKER_00: Now, I will say the flip side of that is I I see a lot of big fuss being made over the fact that, including from Dirty Bunny himself, that you know, it's about um uh that he was gonna only speak Spanish, know English, and get used to it or learn, you know, that whole nonsense.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_00: And I I feel like such a bigger deal was made over the Spanish only part, which is like, I don't know, it's kind of whatever for me, honestly.
• 8:12
SPEAKER_00: The bigger deal to me is that because it was all in Spanish, nobody knew what the heck he was saying for the most part.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: And so the people that didn't know what he was saying were basically like what?
• 8:25
  SPEAKER_00: What?
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: The lyrics to his songs when there's actual lyrics and not just grunting and repetitive sounds and you know, whatever else he does.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: The man has zero talent.
• 8:35
SPEAKER_00: Did you hear the isolated um vocals from it's so bad.
• 8:40
  SPEAKER_00: It's just so bad.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_00: So this is not about talent.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, let's make this very clear.
• 8:45
SPEAKER_00: This is not about talent.
• 8:46
SPEAKER_00: Anyone that wants to say that he's so talented, he's so gifted, you bought the propaganda.
• 8:52
  SPEAKER_00: Congratulations.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_00: Like you, you are just a propaganda fool and tool, really, for all of this.
• 8:58
SPEAKER_00: But for me, the the whole issue really is that because you don't know what he's saying in his lyrics, whether it's the ones he's saying there or from his other music, it's really all about um degradation and objectification of women.
• 9:14
SPEAKER_00: It is vulgar, like extremely vulgar and crass and disgusting.
• 9:21
SPEAKER_00: And it has, again, I gotta say, absolutely nothing to do with anything other than controversy and being uh gross and just uh parading degradation.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_00: All of it was just gross.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_00: That's the bigger deal to me, to be honest with you.
• 9:38
SPEAKER_00: Less about the Spanish speaking.
• 9:40
  SPEAKER_00: I don't care as much about that because I don't know.
• 9:42
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm half Cuban and I I do like Spanish music.
• 9:44
SPEAKER_00: That to me is not what Spanish culture, Hispanic and Latin culture is about, and to for them to pass it off as no, thank you.
• 9:55
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I so I looked up a bunch of his lyrics beforehand because you know my Spanish is atrocious.
• 10:03
SPEAKER_05: Um but and it is bad.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_05: You're you're right, the content of a lot of his songs is bad.
• 10:08
SPEAKER_05: Now, I truthfully I kind of tossed that out the window comparative to other Super Bowl performers, because let's remind some folks of some things, right?
• 10:16
SPEAKER_05: And I will and again, I will throw this out because of this.
• 10:18
SPEAKER_05: We had, you know, Snoop Dogg, we had Eminem, we had right, they're they're not known for, you know, the best, cleanest lyrics in the world.
• 10:26
SPEAKER_05: Um, the greatest halftime performance that I, you know, my personal opinion is Prince, who also has been known for some not so very clean lyrics.
• 10:35
SPEAKER_05: Um, and then, you know, you can even go back and say, you know, bands like Aerosmith, right?
• 10:41
SPEAKER_05: Who, you know, kind of that's more in the mainstream America, or at least what uh a lot of the Super Bowl watchers would prefer would be that kind of music.
• 10:50
SPEAKER_05: Um also some not so clean lyrics.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_05: So the lyrical part of the his music, I I care less about, except, you know, mostly because I knew that the FCC, nobody was gonna allow him to use those lyrics on on the show.
• 11:02
  SPEAKER_05: There's no way.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_05: Um, so that's part of it.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_05: I I didn't like from the beginning the whole you've got four months to learn Spanish, get over it.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_05: Um, but I know that this is this is the NFL.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_05: This is two things about this.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_05: One, Jay-Z is on the committee uh for selecting the halftime show.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_05: So if you go back, you know, it's been a while since uh, you know, hasn't been a hip-hop or dance type uh halftime show, uh direct Jay-Z influence.
• 11:26
SPEAKER_05: Um, but also the NFL is trying to go international, they're trying to increase their international footprint and and make themselves more of an international brand.
• 11:34
SPEAKER_05: And and this is the Spanish, entirely Spanish-speaking halftime show, I have no doubt, is part of that.
• 11:39
SPEAKER_05: They're increasing their overseas regular season games over the next few years, and this is and this is part of it.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_05: Um, I will tell you that their goal, and I Americans are not gonna want to hear this.
• 11:50
SPEAKER_05: You know me, I'm a soccer guy, okay?
• 11:52
SPEAKER_05: My favorite statistic of the day was that about a hundred somewhere between 155 and 160 million people watched the Super Bowl.
• 12:01
SPEAKER_05: Okay, the pinnacle of American sport, the Super Bowl, single game, 160 million people.
• 12:07
SPEAKER_05: Sunday morning, there was a regular season, non-playoff, nothing, just a regular season English soccer match between Manchester City and Liverpool that had 750 million watchers.
• 12:21
  SPEAKER_00: What?
• 12:22
SPEAKER_05: Okay, what so yeah, no kidding.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_05: And and that's not an exaggeration, folks.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_05: You can look it up, but that's reality.
• 12:27
SPEAKER_05: Okay, those are the numbers that the NFL is chasing globally because they want to become that big.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_05: And I think that this selection of Bad Bunny in an all-spanish, like this is they're trying to draw more of an international audience.
• 12:39
SPEAKER_05: If you saw the inside of the stadium, have you seen any of that film footage?
• 12:44
SPEAKER_05: I've seen a couple clips, like uh one dead silent, like there was nobody cheering, there was nobody singing along, there was no and and also nobody dancing.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_05: I saw like, and I saw probably five or six different, you know, phone scans.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_05: Um, and I saw across those five maybe seven or eight people actually dancing along.
• 13:05
SPEAKER_05: Everybody else stock still, not understand not understanding anything, not singing along, and it was dead silent.
• 13:12
SPEAKER_05: So inside the stadium, it was a disaster.
• 13:14
SPEAKER_05: Um but the the Super Bowl party I was at was uh they turned on CPUSA.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_05: Um and you know, you can you can play, you know, devil's advocate on this.
• 13:25
SPEAKER_05: A lot of people who watched didn't know the country performers.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_05: Um were they great performances?
• 13:31
  SPEAKER_05: Sure.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_05: Um, did most people know their songs or know who they were?
• 13:34
SPEAKER_05: No, and that's why they had their name written in lights on the walkway so people knew who they were.
• 13:38
SPEAKER_05: Um the production value was not great.
• 13:41
SPEAKER_05: Um I did hear that.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_00: I heard that the sound quality was not it was not great.
• 13:47
SPEAKER_05: And I heard today, and somebody please like jump in the comments, but I heard today that um kid rock admitted it was pre-recorded.
• 13:54
  SPEAKER_06: Oh, interesting.
• 13:55
  SPEAKER_05: So I I I thought it was live.
• 13:57
SPEAKER_05: Um there were some sound issues, which I attributed to live performance, you know, and it happens.
• 14:02
SPEAKER_05: Um but I did hear today that that it was pre-recorded.
• 14:05
  SPEAKER_05: I don't know if that's true or not.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_05: Um but here's the thing is that they were Kid Rock was still singing um when the game started.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_05: And now the Super Bowl party I was at, everybody was there to watch the games.
• 14:18
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_05: They did turn on TP USA in halftime, but they were there to watch the game.
• 14:21
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 14:21
SPEAKER_05: And they had picture in picture, and as soon as kickoff happened, boom, right back to the football game.
• 14:26
SPEAKER_05: They cut off, they cut off the halftime show.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so there was a little bit in there that you know probably could have been better.
• 14:31
SPEAKER_05: Um, I think overall, you know, I think it was a uh a minus five plus five million, right?
• 14:38
SPEAKER_05: I think was the numbers I heard.
• 14:39
SPEAKER_05: So five million tuned out and went to TP USA across all of the Rumble and YouTube and everything else.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_05: Um, but like you said, most people just left it on and they went and did other things and they ignored it because that's what you do at halftime.
• 14:53
  SPEAKER_05: That's what you do.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_05: So there's a false presentation of, oh, well, you know, however many hundred million people tuned into halftime to watch Bad Bunny.
• 15:02
SPEAKER_05: And I would tell you that that is a pretty bad representation of what actually happened.
• 15:06
SPEAKER_05: Were there TVs tuned to the halftime show?
• 15:08
  SPEAKER_05: Sure there were.
• 15:09
  SPEAKER_05: Of course.
• 15:09
SPEAKER_05: Uh was it uh were 150 million people watching?
• 15:12
SPEAKER_05: I would tell you no.
• 15:14
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
• 15:15
  SPEAKER_05: That's that's not what happened.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_00: So you know, and as usual, I mean it's just another perfect example of both sides of doing the same thing, you know, all of the same thing.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_00: And and I think that's where, and more and more, and listen, let me let me just preface by saying I am a die hard conservative Christian, nothing will change that ever.
• 15:37
SPEAKER_00: However, I will say I am pulling further or further away from uh just all the polarizing mindsets and bandwagon things and and all of those things.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_00: And I mean I'm never gonna be on the side of uh the left.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_00: You know, that's these are all givens and they should be without saying.
• 15:58
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'm just really right now, it's like everybody's got to get kind of called out here.
• 16:03
SPEAKER_00: And the whole boycott culture, you know, I saw the calls for boycott.
• 16:07
SPEAKER_00: That's uh, you know, it's right there.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_00: Boycott and canceling to me are you know neck and neck with being like the same thing.
• 16:12
SPEAKER_00: Because I choose not to watch the um, well, whatever it is.
• 16:16
SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously in this case, we're talking about the halftime show, Super Bowl, uh, for me generally, uh, NFL in general, um, I simply choose not to watch it because it doesn't align with my values and my beliefs and my morals.
• 16:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, if you or anybody else wants to watch it, that's your choice.
• 16:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm not calling on anyone to boycott anything.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: Make your own decisions based on your own perspectives and beliefs.
• 16:38
  SPEAKER_00: And that's it.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_00: So I never like seeing those things like everybody boycott the NFL and blah, blah, blah.
• 16:44
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, as for TPUSA, um, I I think I think it's a great alternative.
• 16:50
  SPEAKER_00: Like it's a great alternative.
• 16:51
SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, if they do it again next year, they'll learn from whatever um mistakes that they made then.
• 16:57
SPEAKER_00: Maybe they'll get more acts on board that have more popularity that people know better.
• 17:02
  SPEAKER_00: That's wonderful.
• 17:03
SPEAKER_00: But you can't win no matter what you freaking do, because there were people widely criticizing um uh the kid rock performance because he started off with uh one of his hits that's pretty raunchy and rough, and then he ended up with this song that everybody's been talking about.
• 17:20
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm already forgetting the name of it because I didn't watch that either, guys.
• 17:23
  SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
• 17:25
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I guess what people were missing about those song choices, they were criticizing the song choice, the first one, that it was inappropriate, that it was vulgar, that it was just as bad as whatever Dirty Rabbit was doing.
• 17:37
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I guess the understanding is that it was he was giving a redemption arc.
• 17:42
SPEAKER_00: You know, here's where he started and here's where he's at now, which I think is a beautiful thing.
• 17:46
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, as far as uh I'm concerned, as being somebody on the right, conservative, Christian first and foremost, really, um care less about small things and focus on the bigger picture.
• 17:59
SPEAKER_00: That here's a guy who um, yeah, you know, lived a or maybe still does a certain lifestyle that maybe doesn't fit the image.
• 18:07
SPEAKER_00: Um, but he is still somebody who is bringing people to Jesus potentially.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_00: So let's just be kinder and just be better than our counterparts, just for once.
• 18:18
  SPEAKER_00: Can we do that?
• 18:19
SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of the place where I'm at with all of this.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_00: I just get exhausted from the hypocrisy and the BS and you know, the the fluff and filler that people keep inserting into every single thing.
• 18:30
  SPEAKER_00: Ugh, just stop.
• 18:32
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, there's a uh, and we'll talk about this when we talk about the uh taxes in California, but uh just a little bit of a teaser, uh, hang in for that topic.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_05: But this may be the last uh Super Bowl you see in the state of California under their current tax code.
• 18:50
SPEAKER_05: And uh we'll explain why when we get to that one here in a few minutes.
• 18:53
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 18:54
SPEAKER_00: We'll um, yeah, we I mean, if you want, we can even go right to that now if you want.
• 18:57
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, why don't we?
• 18:58
SPEAKER_05: And uh, and so we'll, you know, folks were talking about the impact of the current tax code in the state of California and what it is it it is about to do to that state.
• 19:07
SPEAKER_05: We've already seen some indicators.
• 19:09
SPEAKER_05: You know, there's a lot of Hollywood that has slowly been moving their, and I'm not talking about the people.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_05: I'm not even talking about the offices, I'm talking about the actual work and industry because of California and their taxes and how they tax businesses and those things, like Hollywood, which really has made Southern California, is moving their work out of uh not just California, others into other states, Texas.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_05: Georgia notoriously has given great tax breaks for decades to film production, but a lot of it is moving to Canada for the same reason.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_05: Um, but you know, the state of California, uh, and touching back on the Super Bowl, we'll give an example.
• 19:45
SPEAKER_05: So the the winning quarterback from from the Seattle Seahawks uh for winning the Super Bowl was paid an additional$178,000.
• 19:55
SPEAKER_05: That was his performance bonus um or or part of the winner's package that that the league pays out.
• 20:01
  SPEAKER_05: $178,000.
• 20:02
SPEAKER_05: Um because he was in California for seven days, including the game, right?
• 20:08
  SPEAKER_05: The lead up.
• 20:09
SPEAKER_05: Both of the teams are all there, right?
• 20:11
SPEAKER_05: And they're there for the whole week prior to practice and you know press conferences and all those things.
• 20:18
SPEAKER_05: He he was is going to be charged an athlete tax by the state of California in excess of$250,000.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_05: He is going to pay$70,000 for winning the Super Bowl in California.
• 20:36
SPEAKER_05: He's gonna come out on the negative.
• 20:38
SPEAKER_05: And listen, that's the quarterback, folks.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_05: So every athlete on both teams, by the way, the Patriots lost the Super Bowl, right?
• 20:46
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_05: So they're still gonna their their income for being on the team is gonna get taxed.
• 20:51
SPEAKER_05: And then their, you know, whatever bonuses and whatever else they made is also going to be taxed.
• 20:55
  SPEAKER_05: That's insane.
• 20:56
  SPEAKER_05: It's crazy.
• 20:57
  SPEAKER_05: It's insane.
• 20:58
SPEAKER_05: And and on top of it, it may actually get worse because Seattle is in the same division.
• 21:04
SPEAKER_05: They played a game against the Rams and they played a game against, I think, the 49ers in California earlier this season.
• 21:11
SPEAKER_05: So add on four, three to four more days of being in the state of California plus more income for them.
• 21:19
SPEAKER_05: And the state of California is going to tax them on all of that.
• 21:22
SPEAKER_05: So the players association is already speaking up about this, right?
• 21:25
SPEAKER_05: The union that represents the players, and they are already voicing their opinion that under the current conditions, they should never ever play a Super Bowl in the state of California again because the players are being the players are being uh punished because of a decision by the league.
• 21:41
SPEAKER_05: Um but that's the California tax code, folks.
• 21:44
SPEAKER_05: You've got the other instant uh you know, kind of issues going on right now.
• 21:47
SPEAKER_05: Do you know Valero gas stations?
• 21:49
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, right.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_05: So they are closing an entire refinery in the state of California.
• 21:54
  SPEAKER_06: Whoa.
• 21:55
SPEAKER_05: And listen, folks, uh a refinery, like it takes a decade.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_05: To build one of these things.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_05: And it is about two things.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_05: One, it's about their environmental policies, but it's also about the taxing of the company and the taxing because of the refinery itself.
• 22:12
SPEAKER_05: So Valero is just shutting it down, a whole refinery.
• 22:17
SPEAKER_05: And then I heard today, actually, I heard yesterday, late yesterday, that uh Mr.
• 22:21
SPEAKER_05: Zuckerberg, like many other million billionaires, is leaving California.
• 22:27
SPEAKER_05: He is picking up and moving to the state of Florida because they're the taxing of the Uber rich.
• 22:33
SPEAKER_05: And I know a lot of people out there are in favor of taxing the Uber rich, but they're not obligated to stay there.
• 22:39
SPEAKER_05: And he is exercising his American right to go somewhere else.
• 22:43
  SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
• 22:43
SPEAKER_05: Now the state of California is going to lose all of his tax revenue.
• 22:47
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 22:48
SPEAKER_00: And here, and you know, herein lies the ironic stupidity of the whole hyper um chant chant of catch the rich, catch the rich.
• 23:01
SPEAKER_00: You know, you forget it's the rich who employ all of the poor or all of the middle, or you know, whatever the case is.
• 23:10
SPEAKER_00: The rich are the ones who own the corporations that the people work at.
• 23:16
SPEAKER_00: So you're not hurting them.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_00: You're hurting the people who live and work there for them.
• 23:22
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, congratulations, you idiots, for voting these scumbags in who just keep taking and taking and taking.
• 23:30
SPEAKER_00: And by the way, mismanaging to a criminal degree your money, your taxes.
• 23:37
SPEAKER_00: Where do you think those taxes are going?
• 23:38
SPEAKER_00: What are they going to do?
• 23:39
SPEAKER_00: That uh have they rebuilt uh those neighborhoods that were ravaged by the looking?
• 23:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, how are they looking at television?
• 23:46
  SPEAKER_05: Nothing.
• 23:46
SPEAKER_05: They're still trying to build that rail system, which is, you know, millions, tens, hundreds of millions of dollars in debt, haven't done a thing with it, right?
• 23:54
SPEAKER_05: So the question is, when is California really, and they're already paying the price, don't get me wrong, but when are these moves like this, like never bring the Super Bowl back here, right?
• 24:06
SPEAKER_05: And and you know, that is going to become very public to the people in the state of California to know that in San Diego, in Los Angeles, in the Bay Area, like this is never happening again.
• 24:17
  SPEAKER_05: Um, so that happens.
• 24:19
SPEAKER_05: And then you have the large businesses like Bolero, right?
• 24:22
SPEAKER_05: They're picking up and moving.
• 24:23
SPEAKER_05: You've got Hollywood moving, you've got billionaires moving, and they're all leaving.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_05: And so the economic impact of all of this has not yet been felt by the state of California.
• 24:34
SPEAKER_05: They're in dire strength as it is, but it's going to get worse.
• 24:38
SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, they have a a projected$18 billion deficit, deficit projected.
• 24:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 24:44
  SPEAKER_00: $18 billion deficit projected.
• 24:47
  SPEAKER_00: Nice.
• 24:47
SPEAKER_05: But there is there is a light on the horizon, folks, and that is because the state of California, uh, when they do their political primaries, they don't do it by party for governor.
• 24:57
SPEAKER_05: They do it, they do it a little different in California.
• 25:00
SPEAKER_05: It is the top two vote getters, regardless of party, in the preliminary, right?
• 25:06
SPEAKER_05: In the prelims, who get to go to the final election.
• 25:09
SPEAKER_05: So the two top vote getters in in all of the early prelims, they get on the final ballot.
• 25:15
  SPEAKER_05: And that's it.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_05: And right now, those top two vote getters are conservative Republicans.
• 25:20
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 25:21
  SPEAKER_05: All right, all right.
• 25:22
SPEAKER_05: So there is potential there as much as who was it?
• 25:25
  SPEAKER_05: Was it Swalwell?
• 25:26
SPEAKER_05: Who was it that jumped in and said they were going to run for governor to replace Newsom?
• 25:30
SPEAKER_05: Um, I know there was, you know, your girl Kamala's name was in there for a little while.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_05: That's kind of off, but there was somebody else that popped in lately.
• 25:36
SPEAKER_05: But the reality is that there is potential light at the end of the tunnel for the state of California in the world.
• 25:41
SPEAKER_05: I hope so for them.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_05: There there may be uh there's so many liberals right now running, and they're all crap candidates, but there's a couple of decent Republicans, including the current or former sheriff from LA County is running, and he is one of the leading vote getters.
• 25:57
SPEAKER_05: Um, but right now it looks like there's potentially two Republicans as the only two candidates for the governor of the state of California.
• 26:03
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 26:03
SPEAKER_05: Uh when Governor Newsom leaves.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_05: But again, folks, when Valero closes this refinery, like that's not a simple, oh, we've got a Republican back in.
• 26:13
SPEAKER_05: Well, we'll just we'll go back and we'll turn the lights back on and we'll start back up again.
• 26:16
SPEAKER_05: That's not how that works.
• 26:18
SPEAKER_05: This is a significant, you know, they've got to change the tax code, they've got to give tax relief.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, they're gonna have to rehire and retrain people.
• 26:25
SPEAKER_05: Like if this goes for a couple of years, this is this is very likely to be a permanent move uh brought on by the the current uh state level administration.
• 26:36
  SPEAKER_00: I it's just wild to me.
• 26:39
SPEAKER_00: I and and I really do feel for uh Californians and I know quite a few who I've spoken to, and they're like, don't right away, they're like, don't, don't judge us by our governor.
• 26:49
  SPEAKER_00: Sure.
• 26:49
SPEAKER_00: We're not on board for this.
• 26:50
SPEAKER_00: This is not what we voted for.
• 26:52
SPEAKER_00: This is not what we wanted.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_00: You've even got, I don't know if you've seen this or if you would even know who he is, but there's uh he was a reality TV um personality years ago.
• 27:02
SPEAKER_00: I forget the name of the show, some California-based thing, but his name's Spencer Pratt.
• 27:06
SPEAKER_00: And he's married, you know who that is?
• 27:08
SPEAKER_00: He's married to Heidi Montag, and these are like reality star people from back in the day, the early days of reality TV stuff.
• 27:15
SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, they've made careers uh off of that and good on them for it.
• 27:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, but he, he and his wife, they lost their home to the fires, along with, of course, many other people.
• 27:25
SPEAKER_00: And um he has gone full war paint attack mode on uh Newsom and uh the mayor there and all of them.
• 27:34
SPEAKER_00: And he's been uncovering these, you know, he's just blown up on social media and um he's going after him, you know, and he's making everything public and he's calling him out on all of the things, this mismanagement, the lies, the all of the things.
• 27:47
SPEAKER_00: And now he is running for, I don't know what he's running for.
• 27:49
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if he's running for mayor or what, but he's running for office in California.
• 27:53
SPEAKER_00: And and I think he's actually picking up some steam.
• 27:55
SPEAKER_00: So um good on him.
• 27:57
SPEAKER_00: And again, you know, he falls into that Hollywood crowd, even if he's just maybe fringe considered.
• 28:02
SPEAKER_00: Um he's part of that crowd.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_00: So he's another one of those examples that we've talked about before of people breaking away from that, you know, lockstep um mentality that they tend to have in that crowd.
• 28:14
SPEAKER_00: And he's he is making them nervous, he's making them uncomfortable, which is good.
• 28:18
SPEAKER_00: That's what you got to do.
• 28:19
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and you know, California's been back and forth over the years, folks.
• 28:22
SPEAKER_05: There's been a number of in-and-out conservative governors that have done pretty well for themselves.
• 28:27
SPEAKER_05: And then, you know, you have a flip-flop.
• 28:29
SPEAKER_05: There's a for whatever reason, and you get somebody like Newsom in there who's been there forever, longer than he should be, truthfully.
• 28:34
SPEAKER_05: Um and and um, and then you have decisions being made and you you get into a place where they're at now.
• 28:40
SPEAKER_05: And uh, and so I'm glad folks are gonna step in and make a change.
• 28:43
SPEAKER_05: Uh, and I'm glad that uh hopefully they can save the state of California from its own self-inflicted wound um and and get things back on track.
• 28:51
SPEAKER_05: But we'll have to wait and see.
• 28:52
SPEAKER_05: Keep an eye on that governor's race in California, folks.
• 28:55
SPEAKER_05: Listen, that that's no joke for the rest of the United States.
• 28:57
SPEAKER_05: People are worried about New York, but California is like it has its own economy.
• 29:02
SPEAKER_05: It is and and access, obviously, the ports and everything, access to training in the through the Pacific and all that is is a big deal.
• 29:08
SPEAKER_05: So we we need California to get its act together.
• 29:10
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 29:10
SPEAKER_05: And we'll have to watch and wait and see what happens.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, it'll be interesting for sure.
• 29:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, let's move on to my goodness, this this whole thing is so crazy.
• 29:21
  SPEAKER_00: It's so crazy.
• 29:22
SPEAKER_00: And and I know there's a there's a reasonable number of people, and I've heard this and and I took a little time to contemplate it that were um like, why, you know, why is this national news?
• 29:33
SPEAKER_00: Why is this taking so much of the the news cycle?
• 29:37
SPEAKER_00: Um 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, which is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, um, she vanished from her Tucson home in a what they're calling a brazen abduction with ransom notes depending, uh demanding, I'm sorry, six million dollars and chill uh chillings.
• 29:56
SPEAKER_00: So the doorbell footage is is very disturbing.
• 29:58
  SPEAKER_00: Um I don't know if I yeah, I don't have that on here.
• 30:01
SPEAKER_00: Um it is watching that footage, it's like it does give you chills.
• 30:05
SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh it shows a mass gunman, gunman tampering with cameras and her family, Savannah and her siblings, um, have been you know on the news uh reading um, you know, prepared statements, requesting for their mother's safe return, lots of speculation going on, uh lots of false were those ransom notes uh determined false?
• 30:27
SPEAKER_05: So there were some that were false.
• 30:29
SPEAKER_05: Uh they have discounted completely.
• 30:31
SPEAKER_05: Um but there was, I heard today the ones that they have taken seriously.
• 30:36
SPEAKER_05: There was uh I saw a headline that said a payment was made uh to that to the account.
• 30:41
SPEAKER_05: Uh so it it sounds like maybe there is some money being exchanged in hopes that um Nancy Guthrie is returned.
• 30:47
SPEAKER_05: But I know there were some fake ones out there um in the initial part, which you know, somebody's just trying to make some money off of uh off of somebody else's bad plan, but it is what it is.
• 30:57
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 30:57
SPEAKER_00: Um important to note here, guys, like we always try and remind you, we are recording uh on Wednesday.
• 31:02
SPEAKER_00: You will see this on Thursday.
• 31:03
SPEAKER_00: A lot can happen between now and then.
• 31:05
SPEAKER_00: So if we are if you're saying something more has happened since, you know, watch as you're watching this, um, it's because we recorded the day before.
• 31:14
SPEAKER_00: So don't yell at us in the comments that we're wrong.
• 31:17
SPEAKER_00: Uh, we very well could be at this point.
• 31:19
SPEAKER_00: So we're telling you the information that we have up until this point right now.
• 31:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, to the, I want to know what you think, like to the people who are saying things like, you know, stop making this national news, like this is the most important thing because it's the mother of a celebrity and blah, blah, blah.
• 31:34
SPEAKER_00: Um, what do you have to say to that?
• 31:35
SPEAKER_00: Because I was like, yeah, I mean, I get what you're saying.
• 31:37
SPEAKER_00: I I get that, you know, there's so many things that happen in the world that are as tragic and awful and don't even get a fraction of the news cycle attention.
• 31:48
SPEAKER_00: Um, what are your thoughts on that?
• 31:49
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I would tell you you have to ask yourself why.
• 31:52
SPEAKER_05: Why is it national news?
• 31:53
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and listen, I I've been seeing it and hearing it literally from all kinds of people that are like, God, I wish that there's other things going on.
• 32:01
SPEAKER_05: Is there not another news story?
• 32:03
SPEAKER_05: Why do they keep talking about this?
• 32:04
SPEAKER_05: And it's a valid question, but you you have to look beyond that and actually ask the question and try and think through why it is getting as much attention as it is.
• 32:14
SPEAKER_05: And I will tell you, I personally don't think this has anything to do with money.
• 32:19
SPEAKER_05: Because let's be honest, every newscaster has parents, every newscaster has family, every, you know, there is a reason why Nancy Guthrie specifically was kidnapped.
• 32:31
SPEAKER_05: And I I and I am telling you, my gut feeling is it has nothing to do with six million dollars in Bitcoin.
• 32:36
  SPEAKER_06: Okay.
• 32:37
SPEAKER_05: The story that people are not talking about is who uh Savannah Guthrie's husband is.
• 32:43
  SPEAKER_05: Yes.
• 32:44
SPEAKER_05: And if you haven't done any investigation into this, you need to.
• 32:48
SPEAKER_05: Savannah Guthrie's husband has been associated with the Clintons for decades.
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_05: Decades, people.
• 32:55
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 32:56
SPEAKER_05: Um he is notoriously, he's been labeled as a fixer for the Clintons, uh, and has worked in multiple administrations or advised been a consultant, multiple administrations, multiple people within the Democratic side of politics.
• 33:10
SPEAKER_05: Anybody who ignores that fact and continues to say, well, I don't understand why they, you know, kidnap this this old lady, you know, what is it, you know, I get it her daughter's on TV, but who cares, right?
• 33:20
SPEAKER_05: I'm telling you, my gut tells me it's got nothing to do with Savannah Guthrie being on TV, how much she makes from whoever it is, NBC or CBS.
• 33:28
SPEAKER_05: And it has everything to do with who she is married to.
• 33:32
  SPEAKER_05: Okay.
• 33:33
SPEAKER_05: Um, and and so again, folks, look up her husband um, because he has been decidedly quiet.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_05: Although I did just see he made it finally made a statement about this.
• 33:42
SPEAKER_05: And I and I don't know what it is because it literally just hit my phone a few minutes ago.
• 33:46
SPEAKER_05: Um, but but I've been saying all along that this doesn't make sense.
• 33:51
SPEAKER_05: This kidnapping, uh, I know it's an expensive house.
• 33:54
  SPEAKER_05: Okay, fine.
• 33:54
SPEAKER_05: Uh, I know it's an elderly woman, okay, fine.
• 33:57
SPEAKER_05: But nobody would just randomly kidnap her and assume that there is money to pay a six million dollar ransom very specifically for six million dollars in Bitcoin.
• 34:05
SPEAKER_05: Like this, this was done well.
• 34:08
SPEAKER_05: And I know people are watching the ring camera footage or whatever it is, and they're saying, well, this guy's a buffoon.
• 34:13
SPEAKER_05: He tried to cover the camera with some brush from the flower bed and whatever.
• 34:17
  SPEAKER_05: Again, think beyond that.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_05: There's a lot of things going on.
• 34:19
SPEAKER_05: They were looking at cameras, cameras on rooftops, they were inspecting the manhole cover behind the house.
• 34:25
SPEAKER_05: Um, my gut tells me this is professional, it's not haphazard.
• 34:29
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, um, but it also is associated with Savannah Guthrie's husband, who again worked deeply for the Clintons for a very long time.
• 34:35
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 34:36
SPEAKER_00: And if we have learned nothing from the Epstein file dumps and everything associated with it, and the lack of accountability from bad, bad, bad actors thus far.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's that just about everything is a smoke screen.
• 34:54
SPEAKER_00: Everything we see is orchestrated to be what we're allowed to see.
• 34:59
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, take that, put, put the uh drawing of a tinfoil hat on my head if you want.
• 35:04
  SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
• 35:06
SPEAKER_00: Um when you start to when you start to know too many things about the the ways of things, it's you can't unsee it and you can't unknow it.
• 35:14
SPEAKER_00: And uh I would I would rather be oblivious to all of it, to be honest with you.
• 35:18
SPEAKER_00: I would rather be just as clueless as everyone else.
• 35:20
SPEAKER_00: So um knowledge may be power, but it's also really disturbing to say the least.
• 35:25
SPEAKER_05: So yeah, and and when you think critically about this and you say, okay, well, there was a deadline, right?
• 35:30
SPEAKER_05: There was an initial deadline for the ransom, which passed.
• 35:33
  unknown: Right.
• 35:33
SPEAKER_05: And then when it passed, normally, listen, folks, when when kidnappers threaten something and it has to do with the ransom timeline, um they're either prepared to do it or they've already done it.
• 35:44
  SPEAKER_05: Um, right?
• 35:45
SPEAKER_05: So the the uh ransom timeline passed, and then within 24 hours, they released the footage from the ring camera.
• 35:52
SPEAKER_05: So somebody in law enforcement, and listen, folks, FBI's uh hostage rescue team, their HRT, which is one of the best in the world, uh it's already on site in Arizona.
• 36:00
SPEAKER_05: But they've decided that the risk of publishing those that film footage was worth the risk.
• 36:06
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
• 36:06
SPEAKER_05: Uh so they're either assuming that these kidnappers are not going to kill uh you know Nancy Guthrie or that they have already killed Nancy Guthrie.
• 36:14
SPEAKER_05: But either way, they've done a risk assessment to say it's worth the risk to get the photos out.
• 36:18
SPEAKER_05: Um and and so you you gotta think beyond the God, I wish they would just turn this off, because like you said, it's associated with something.
• 36:26
SPEAKER_05: This is very much a shiny object, look over here, squirrel, whatever you want to call it.
• 36:32
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, uh, there's something else associated with this.
• 36:34
SPEAKER_05: Is not a random kidnapping uh of a rich old lady.
• 36:37
SPEAKER_05: That's not what this is.
• 36:38
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 36:38
SPEAKER_00: The tip-off, guys, for um for the question of is this a psyop?
• 36:45
SPEAKER_00: Is is is this what everybody's talking about?
• 36:47
SPEAKER_00: Is this the main focus?
• 36:48
SPEAKER_00: Like if everybody's talking about this one thing or two or three things, take a moment and look around and figure out what they're not talking about.
• 36:57
SPEAKER_00: What else is going on in the world right now?
• 37:00
SPEAKER_00: And it might not be on our own doorstep.
• 37:02
SPEAKER_00: It might be, you know, a lot of times it's international, right?
• 37:04
SPEAKER_00: That they're putting up, you know, shiny, like you said, shiny objects to keep us distracted from something bigger, deeper, darker, more all of the things.
• 37:13
SPEAKER_00: So um, you know, again, just that that PSA, stop getting sucked into the obvious, the the shiny object.
• 37:21
SPEAKER_00: And like you just said, Clay, I think that was use some critical thinking, you know, just the pause.
• 37:27
SPEAKER_00: I think that's gonna be our thing every week.
• 37:28
  SPEAKER_00: We're gonna say pause.
• 37:29
  SPEAKER_00: Everybody hit pause, right?
• 37:31
SPEAKER_00: Think bigger, think deeper, pay attention more.
• 37:34
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, uh, let me ask the uncomfortable question.
• 37:37
SPEAKER_00: Um, do you think that she is alive?
• 37:40
  SPEAKER_05: No, no, I don't.
• 37:41
  SPEAKER_05: I don't either.
• 37:42
  SPEAKER_00: That's my gut.
• 37:43
SPEAKER_05: But uh for a number of reasons.
• 37:45
SPEAKER_05: One, again, the the you know, the uh ransom timeline has passed.
• 37:50
SPEAKER_05: Um FBI decided to release the film footage, I think, based on her age and the fact that she was on medication uh of some sort.
• 37:58
SPEAKER_05: Uh I think all there's there's too many indicators that say that she is most likely.
• 38:03
SPEAKER_05: And I know that and listen, I'm not trying to, you know, make light of this or you know, the Guthrie family is suffering through all of this.
• 38:11
SPEAKER_05: Um chances are, if you play the odds, chances are she's she is already uh has been killed or died in the process of being that.
• 38:20
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 38:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 38:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 38:22
SPEAKER_00: I I tend to think the same.
• 38:23
SPEAKER_00: And uh if you're already playing amateur detectives at home, you know, I hear all the accusations that the the daughter and uh son-in-law are involved, they acted suspicious.
• 38:33
SPEAKER_00: I could tell by the way that she looked down or that how many times she blinked and too much true crime.
• 38:38
  SPEAKER_00: Too much true crime.
• 38:39
  SPEAKER_00: Way too much crime.
• 38:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, like you guys are not, we're not like I love all of us, and I do these things as well.
• 38:45
SPEAKER_00: We're we're just we're not body language experts, you know, because somebody looked up to the left.
• 38:51
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't necessarily mean they may have seen a spider up in the corner when they're doing, you know what I mean?
• 38:55
  SPEAKER_00: Because somebody blinks, guys.
• 38:56
SPEAKER_00: I wear contacts and I just just for example, and I and I've watched back our playbacks, and sometimes I'll see myself blinking a lot.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh my gosh, that looks awful.
• 39:05
  SPEAKER_00: So much blinking.
• 39:06
SPEAKER_00: And it's like if people only knew the fact that A, I wear contacts from the minute I wake up until the moment I pretty much go to bed.
• 39:12
SPEAKER_00: And as I'm doing this broadcast, I'm looking into a camera right this very second.
• 39:16
SPEAKER_00: And right behind that camera is the brightest, most obnoxious light.
• 39:22
SPEAKER_00: And I, every time that I look up at this camera and then look down, all I see are spots.
• 39:28
SPEAKER_00: So just so you know, so if you see me blinking, doesn't mean I'm nervous, doesn't mean I'm lying.
• 39:33
SPEAKER_00: It means I can't freaking see, guys.
• 39:36
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 39:36
  SPEAKER_00: So calm down.
• 39:37
SPEAKER_00: Nobody, as far as I know, nobody has said that in the comments.
• 39:39
SPEAKER_00: But I noticed it myself and it it made me think of this and it kind of made me laugh.
• 39:43
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, listen, could that be the case that they are involved, that this is something way smaller?
• 39:48
SPEAKER_00: I mean, sure, anything is possible in this world.
• 39:51
SPEAKER_00: But um, let's not traumatize this family any more than they already are at this moment.
• 39:56
SPEAKER_05: You know, I mean, come on, wait, we'll wait and what one last note, and and I know I'll catch a little bit of crap for this too.
• 40:01
SPEAKER_05: The sheriff himself has been uh under a lot of fire because he went to a basketball game on Saturday night and um, you know, some other things.
• 40:09
SPEAKER_05: And you know, the expectation by a lot of people is that every single law enforcement officer in that county and probably in the state of Arizona and probably from the entire FBI should be focused on solving this.
• 40:21
SPEAKER_05: You can't operate like that for a lot of reasons.
• 40:25
SPEAKER_05: One, that guy, after this is over with, that guy still has to be the sheriff.
• 40:29
SPEAKER_05: Okay, he can't run 24 hours on coffee and nicotine and hate, you know, until he collapses or until this thing is resolved.
• 40:37
SPEAKER_05: He this is his job every single day, and there are a lot of other things going on every single day, and he knows and understands that there's a long game to this for his own sustainability.
• 40:46
SPEAKER_05: So the fact that he eats dinner or takes a break and goes to a basketball game, he's a human being on top of everything else.
• 40:54
SPEAKER_05: And I know a lot he's taken a lot of crap in the press uh and on social media.
• 40:58
SPEAKER_05: And I would tell you that uh if you think that you uh can sustain like that, give me a call because I have lived and operated in some of the worst environments ever.
• 41:09
SPEAKER_05: And I will tell you that no one can do that.
• 41:11
  SPEAKER_05: I don't care who you are.
• 41:12
  SPEAKER_00: No.
• 41:12
SPEAKER_05: Um, so cut the guy some slack.
• 41:14
SPEAKER_05: Just be realistic about your expectations of who he is.
• 41:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, good on you for pointing that out because it's just absurd.
• 41:19
SPEAKER_00: Again, lack of critical thinking.
• 41:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, so just stop, people, stop with the nonsense.
• 41:25
  SPEAKER_00: What else we got?
• 41:26
SPEAKER_00: Oh, let's move on to this one here.
• 41:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, I'm putting that right on you, Clay.
• 41:30
  SPEAKER_00: Go.
• 41:31
SPEAKER_05: You know, the question, yeah.
• 41:33
SPEAKER_05: The question, folks, is you know, we um we worry uh, you know, about or we worry about especially like Russia Gate was the thing, right?
• 41:42
SPEAKER_05: It was about influence peddling and affecting foreign entities affecting um United States elections, right?
• 41:48
SPEAKER_05: And we had, you know, Mike Flynn got in trouble.
• 41:50
SPEAKER_05: He got, you know, he got drug and President Trump got accused.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_05: We all know that it was fake now, the dossier and all that crap, and you know, Secretary Clinton, everything that she was responsible for.
• 42:00
SPEAKER_05: That does not remove the fact that there are foreign entities, businesses, foreign governments, and foreign individuals who influence our politics on a daily basis.
• 42:15
SPEAKER_05: Uh, you can talk about, and top of everybody's list is George Soros.
• 42:19
SPEAKER_05: He's the easiest one, right?
• 42:20
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 42:21
SPEAKER_05: We see it all the time.
• 42:22
SPEAKER_05: We know his son is here.
• 42:23
SPEAKER_05: We know that you know his son is a U.S.
• 42:25
  SPEAKER_05: citizen.
• 42:26
SPEAKER_05: Um, we know that he spends most of his time outside of the United States, probably for his own safety.
• 42:31
SPEAKER_05: Um, but but he's not the only one, right?
• 42:33
SPEAKER_05: We know that China has bought a significant amount of property within the United States.
• 42:38
SPEAKER_05: We have got foreign-owned companies that operate inside the United States.
• 42:42
SPEAKER_05: We've got donations coming in from the Middle East, you know, into our political process, um, donors and donations from corporations and individuals, right?
• 42:50
SPEAKER_05: Um, whether they're claimed or not.
• 42:52
SPEAKER_05: But all of that is happening.
• 42:54
SPEAKER_05: And I know that we have laws in place to quote unquote prevent, you know, foreign interference into our electoral process.
• 43:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, how's that working out for us?
• 43:03
  SPEAKER_05: It's not.
• 43:03
SPEAKER_05: And that's my point is when when are we collectively, the United States, and this is where it lands on the voters, because we know that our elected officials are the ones who are benefiting from this, truthfully.
• 43:15
  SPEAKER_05: Right, right.
• 43:15
SPEAKER_05: And they're and they're not going to be the ones to stop it.
• 43:18
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 43:18
SPEAKER_05: But how do we, American citizens, step in and stop this from happening?
• 43:24
SPEAKER_05: And and I and I don't really have an answer.
• 43:27
SPEAKER_05: Um, but we we have a problem collectively inside the United States with foreign influence interfering.
• 43:32
SPEAKER_05: And it's and again, folks, it's not Russia Gate.
• 43:34
  SPEAKER_05: That's not what I'm talking about.
• 43:35
SPEAKER_05: I'm talking about the very low-key stuff that's going on financially.
• 43:39
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but it isn't even low-key.
• 43:41
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 43:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 43:42
SPEAKER_00: And I I think, you know, that the most obvious problem is that it's so big.
• 43:46
  SPEAKER_00: Everything is so big.
• 43:48
SPEAKER_00: The government is so big.
• 43:49
SPEAKER_00: Each state's um internal government system is so big.
• 43:53
SPEAKER_00: It is it is virtually impossible to keep track of every little thing because these people are.
• 44:00
  SPEAKER_00: It's constantly shifting.
• 44:01
SPEAKER_00: You know, as soon as, as soon as you uncover one thing, they've already moved on to another way to uh funnel money in and different organizations.
• 44:11
  SPEAKER_00: And I don't really know you can't.
• 44:15
  SPEAKER_00: You just can't.
• 44:16
SPEAKER_00: Like all you can do is just keep trying, basically, and keep shutting them down and keep investigating and, you know, with the understanding that this is a never-ending process.
• 44:25
  SPEAKER_00: This isn't a one and done.
• 44:26
  SPEAKER_00: This isn't a pass a law and now it's fixed.
• 44:28
SPEAKER_00: It's, you know, it's the constant um management of that in oversight of that.
• 44:35
  SPEAKER_00: And it's huge.
• 44:38
SPEAKER_00: I just read, uh, well, I just read in my notes that um our politics are flooded with over$2.6 billion in foreign money, which is being funneled through nonprofits, which nonprofits crop up every minute of the day, like every minute of the day.
• 44:53
SPEAKER_00: So how are you going to investigate, you know, and and monitor every single one of those?
• 44:57
SPEAKER_00: We just simply don't have the manpower to do that.
• 45:00
SPEAKER_00: And that's what they bank on, obviously.
• 45:01
SPEAKER_00: But um, you know, these are these are what are fueling the anti-ICE protests and of course the left-wing chaos.
• 45:07
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, it's pretty much guaranteed tied to China and to probably Russia and, you know, all the places that you just talked about.
• 45:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, Minnesota obviously is the most glaring example of everything.
• 45:20
SPEAKER_00: And of course, they're not the only ones.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_00: That's not the only place.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_00: That's just the one under the microscope right now, you know, which fortunately starts putting a microscope on other states and other cities and, you know, hopefully more.
• 45:33
  SPEAKER_00: Uh, what's his name?
• 45:34
  SPEAKER_00: Nick Shirley's.
• 45:35
SPEAKER_00: Hopefully more Nick Shirley's will crop up all around, which I'm sure there are.
• 45:38
  SPEAKER_00: You know, it's happening.
• 45:39
SPEAKER_00: I know that it's happening, it just can never happen fast enough or wide enough, I think.
• 45:45
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and and really unfortunately, what this takes is a massive um election law reform, right?
• 45:54
SPEAKER_05: We need reformation, like literally take all of the election laws, throw them out the window, start over again, you know, maximize donations, eliminate donations.
• 46:06
SPEAKER_05: Like there, this is gonna have to be a mass, like a 180-degree turn.
• 46:09
SPEAKER_05: The problem is the people who would vote on and pass these laws are the people who are gonna be punished by voting on and enacting these laws.
• 46:18
SPEAKER_05: So, you know, it we collectively it has gotten out of, we have allowed it to get out of control.
• 46:24
SPEAKER_05: Um, and and our, you know, I think step one is term limits.
• 46:28
SPEAKER_05: It goes back to that as it does all of the time on so many different issues.
• 46:32
SPEAKER_05: Um, but I think it it has got to turn into some sort of uh, you know, mandated uh you cannot accept donations over X amount of dollars.
• 46:41
  SPEAKER_05: You cannot accept donations.
• 46:42
SPEAKER_05: And we have those in place.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_05: I think the caps have to come way, way down.
• 46:46
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 46:46
SPEAKER_05: Um and then you've got to have certain entities are barred from uh from donating.
• 46:51
SPEAKER_05: So I I think and again, folks, I know these laws exist.
• 46:55
  SPEAKER_05: I know they're in place.
• 46:56
SPEAKER_05: One, they're not be one, they're not being enforced as they stand, but also they're way too open and lenient.
• 47:02
SPEAKER_05: And that's why, like Elsa said, people are they find a new way around it.
• 47:05
SPEAKER_05: As soon as a loophole is exploited and then it's found and then it's shut, they just find another loophole or they just start all over again from scratch and it's it just becomes uh you know.
• 47:14
SPEAKER_05: But I I think the answer is one is term limits, and two, we have to be they have to be much more restrictive.
• 47:20
SPEAKER_05: We've got to close as many of those these loopholes as we have, because listen, folks, most of the donations go into both of our political parties.
• 47:27
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, as you said, what is that$2.6 billion?
• 47:29
  SPEAKER_00: 2.6 billion, yeah.
• 47:30
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 47:31
SPEAKER_05: Those are not that's that's more than what they're getting from American citizens.
• 47:34
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 47:35
SPEAKER_00: That's part of the world.
• 47:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and I would add a number three to that, which would be way, way harsher uh penalties and and consequences for that, you know, life imprisonment, I don't care what you do, um, but make it so severe that it scares the daylights out of them from doing it.
• 47:55
SPEAKER_00: And that's what you have to do.
• 47:56
SPEAKER_00: I mean, there has to be there, I mean, this is the most basic understanding that we have to our core that if there is a consequence to our actions, there is a deterrence to our actions, right?
• 48:08
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, so yeah, that would be my my addition to that.
• 48:12
SPEAKER_00: But I agree with you completely, Clay.
• 48:14
SPEAKER_00: So um, you know, it's on all of us to pay attention to um again, discernment, um, critical thinking.
• 48:24
  SPEAKER_00: We've got to.
• 48:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, and yeah, it's a pain in the neck.
• 48:28
SPEAKER_00: It's not fun to see, you know, if you're donating, if you're somebody who donates to organizations, um, you know, research that organization, know where the money's going, know what they stand for, know all of those things.
• 48:40
SPEAKER_00: That the all the way down to the um products that we use, the things that we buy, the things that we purchase, know where they're coming from and what they support.
• 48:48
SPEAKER_00: And as best you can, as best you can.
• 48:51
SPEAKER_00: You can only do as much as you can do.
• 48:53
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, you have you start with, and I think that's a question we all ask, including myself.
• 48:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, where do you even begin?
• 48:58
  SPEAKER_00: Where do you start?
• 48:58
SPEAKER_00: Well, you start in your own little corner of the world and do what you can do in your space, right?
• 49:05
SPEAKER_05: And and so, you know, transition to the next topic, folks.
• 49:08
SPEAKER_05: When you when we allow these things to happen inside the United States, the result is we get things like this.
• 49:15
SPEAKER_05: Not that long ago, inside of my lifetime, inside of your lifetime, uh, socialists were basically on par with criminals in the political system within the United States.
• 49:24
SPEAKER_05: Like being a socialist was, you know, you go back into the 50s and 60s, like it it literally was Joe McCarthy like going after socialists in a criminal sense.
• 49:34
SPEAKER_05: But we've got socialism creeping, as it says, you know, into America.
• 49:40
SPEAKER_05: And and everybody knows Mom Dani, right?
• 49:42
SPEAKER_05: And I would argue that he's more communist than a socialist, but he's probably the most visible.
• 49:47
SPEAKER_05: But what people aren't necessarily seeing is that the mayor of Seattle, other coast, socialists, right?
• 49:54
SPEAKER_05: You've got socialists in places that in local state level governments that are on the on the rise.
• 50:00
SPEAKER_05: New Jersey is big, right?
• 50:02
SPEAKER_05: There's a huge increase, and you can, you know, kind of attribute some of this to association with Mam Dani, but New Jersey's big increase in socialists.
• 50:09
SPEAKER_05: Minnesota, obviously, you know, in in socialists, but it is cropping up in some places that you wouldn't expect.
• 50:15
SPEAKER_05: Some of the states on the east, southern, like in the southeast, like in the Carolinas, you are starting to see these things crop up socialists at local political levels, and that's where they get their start.
• 50:26
SPEAKER_05: And but it's disturbing, it should be disturbing for all of us that in you know our republic, Democratic Republic, let's keep that in mind, um, based on capitalism and okay, Christian values, we have socialism on the rise in the United States.
• 50:43
SPEAKER_05: And it is uh, I think, you know, the biggest criminality of all is this thing right here.
• 50:48
  SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah.
• 50:49
SPEAKER_05: And and you know, we we all need to be worried about this because if this continues to grow and we start getting this at a national level, um, we have some some problems.
• 50:58
SPEAKER_05: Because as an example, Mom Donnie just yesterday uh instituted, I think it's called the New York City It's got to do with their Department of Health, right?
• 51:09
SPEAKER_05: Which under the mayor of New York City, the New York City Health Department, Department of Health, they have a uh uh council or something like that.
• 51:16
SPEAKER_05: You would think it's focused on the interior, right?
• 51:19
  SPEAKER_05: On New York City.
• 51:20
SPEAKER_05: And what it is, is uh talking about global issues.
• 51:23
SPEAKER_05: And the first thing they did was came out and they um, you know, went after Israel.
• 51:28
SPEAKER_05: It's New York City, it's their health department, right?
• 51:31
SPEAKER_05: Why why in the world are any of them worried about what's going on in Israel?
• 51:36
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 51:37
SPEAKER_05: But this is what you get is you get a local level, you know, I get it, it's the biggest city in the country.
• 51:41
SPEAKER_05: But like their health department should not, and if you're from New York, you should be worried about this because you're spending your taxpayer dollars worried about what's going on in Israel, right?
• 51:49
SPEAKER_05: Inside the city of New York.
• 51:50
  SPEAKER_05: That's a problem.
• 51:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
• 51:52
SPEAKER_00: You know, I mean uh they they do they they have their playbook, they have the whole playbook of what they do.
• 51:58
SPEAKER_00: It is so, it is so uh I almost want to say cliche, but but they do the same thing every time.
• 52:05
SPEAKER_00: It's the same result every time.
• 52:06
  SPEAKER_00: Promise big, big thing.
• 52:08
SPEAKER_00: Well, first of all, let me let me take that back a little bit.
• 52:11
SPEAKER_00: They indoctrinate the youth, the kids.
• 52:13
SPEAKER_00: They stop, you know, they stop educating them on on real history and real um um economics, basically, you know, which is huge, obviously, and history, of course.
• 52:25
SPEAKER_00: Uh so they lie to them, they don't know any better, so they believe it and they they are taught what to think, not how to think.
• 52:31
SPEAKER_00: So you start there, so you've already you got the youth, the youth, the children, as Whitney said, the children are our future.
• 52:38
  SPEAKER_01: Good or bad.
• 52:39
  SPEAKER_00: Right?
• 52:39
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 52:40
SPEAKER_00: You know, so if you if you're in control of their minds and what they think, um, you are already ahead.
• 52:46
  SPEAKER_00: So you've got that.
• 52:47
SPEAKER_00: And then they, once they've got them hooked and listening, you start promising them all the things, and you start saying, they don't want you to have this.
• 52:54
SPEAKER_00: How come they all have that?
• 52:56
  SPEAKER_00: That's not fair.
• 52:57
SPEAKER_00: And these kids, they don't know any better.
• 52:59
SPEAKER_00: And of course, I don't even know what to say with the adults, the grown-ass adults that buy this hook line and sink.
• 53:05
  SPEAKER_00: They're just fools.
• 53:06
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what Kool-Aid they were drinking, but obviously some bad stuff, some Jim Jones kind of crap.
• 53:12
SPEAKER_00: Um, but that's what they do.
• 53:14
SPEAKER_00: So they sell this big, big, bright, shiny, beautiful package of free this and free that, and everybody gets to do the same thing.
• 53:21
SPEAKER_00: And isn't that so much nicer?
• 53:23
SPEAKER_00: And then, like Venezuela, they they get in and they collapse and destroy everything.
• 53:29
SPEAKER_00: And by the time everybody realizes that what's happening, it is too late.
• 53:33
SPEAKER_00: You are destroyed and it will take you decades to come back from it.
• 53:37
  SPEAKER_00: And that's the goal.
• 53:38
  SPEAKER_00: That's the goal.
• 53:39
  SPEAKER_05: Yep.
• 53:39
SPEAKER_05: And and listen, folks, again, we you know this, I know this, we talk about it.
• 53:44
  SPEAKER_05: Socialism has failed everywhere.
• 53:45
SPEAKER_05: It's been tried around the world.
• 53:47
  unknown: Everywhere.
• 53:47
SPEAKER_05: No, America's not going to do it better than everybody else, and it's not gonna be okay.
• 53:51
SPEAKER_05: And I am a firm believer in the old adage you can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out of it.
• 53:57
SPEAKER_05: And this is the end that that is what will happen uh if we continue down this path.
• 54:02
SPEAKER_05: We we as Americans cannot allow socialism.
• 54:05
  SPEAKER_05: I don't care if you're a Democrat or Republican, I really don't.
• 54:07
SPEAKER_05: We can't allow socialism uh to become the norm anywhere in this country.
• 54:12
SPEAKER_05: We just can't let it happen.
• 54:13
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
• 54:14
SPEAKER_00: Those are uh words to live by right there and to remember.
• 54:17
SPEAKER_00: And let's not make those words haunt us.
• 54:19
SPEAKER_00: Let them be a little rally cry of it's not gonna happen.
• 54:23
SPEAKER_00: So uh word to the wise guys.
• 54:24
  SPEAKER_00: So that's a good one.
• 54:25
SPEAKER_00: Uh let's talk about this here.
• 54:26
SPEAKER_00: We're we're getting towards the end here, but I want to touch on this quickly.
• 54:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, dude, I gotta be honest, I didn't even know the Olympics were on until like didn't even know until the only reason I knew uh what's her name, Lindsay Vaughn?
• 54:38
  SPEAKER_00: Is that who?
• 54:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was like the first thing that I saw about it.
• 54:41
SPEAKER_00: I was like, when when did this happen?
• 54:43
  SPEAKER_00: When was this guy?
• 54:44
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh, it's like right now.
• 54:45
  SPEAKER_00: It's right now, it's happening now.
• 54:46
  SPEAKER_00: I had no idea.
• 54:47
SPEAKER_00: I don't watch any mainstream TV, I watch like reruns of old shows.
• 54:51
SPEAKER_00: That's kind of like all I actually watch.
• 54:53
SPEAKER_00: So I had no idea.
• 54:55
  SPEAKER_00: Sorry, guys.
• 54:56
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I think there's a couple of contributing factors.
• 54:58
SPEAKER_05: One of them is, you know, back in the old days when we had like three channels.
• 55:01
SPEAKER_05: Uh, you know, um, I remember as a kid, like I think it was ABC most of the time, or maybe it was NBC.
• 55:06
  SPEAKER_05: We had no choice.
• 55:07
  SPEAKER_06: We were watching it.
• 55:08
  SPEAKER_05: That was it.
• 55:08
SPEAKER_05: It was on 24 hours a day, the Olympics, no matter where it was going on in the world.
• 55:12
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and we didn't have DVR and we didn't have those things.
• 55:14
SPEAKER_05: So if you wanted to watch ice hockey, USA versus whoever, and it was on three o'clock in the morning, you had to get up and watch it, right?
• 55:21
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 55:22
SPEAKER_05: Um, but there was all there were other things like you used to go into McDonald's.
• 55:25
SPEAKER_05: You remember they used to have the board that tracked gold medals by country, right?
• 55:30
SPEAKER_05: I think that was more summer than winter, but you know, there was all of those things because we didn't have five million options.
• 55:38
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 55:39
SPEAKER_05: We had the newspaper, we had three channels on the TV, there were no smartphones, there was no internet.
• 55:45
SPEAKER_05: So our our you know, access to information now, like nobody watches the games anymore.
• 55:49
SPEAKER_05: They just watch to see if we won.
• 55:51
SPEAKER_05: That's really what it boils down to.
• 55:52
  SPEAKER_00: Right.
• 55:53
  SPEAKER_00: Catch a couple highlights.
• 55:54
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 55:54
  SPEAKER_05: Right.
• 55:54
SPEAKER_05: Um, but also you've got a lack of in this country national pride.
• 55:58
SPEAKER_05: And it's coming out by our athletes.
• 56:00
SPEAKER_05: We've had a number of athletes, some skiers and some other folks who have said flat out, um, I'm not cool with America right now.
• 56:06
SPEAKER_05: I don't really support, you know, I'm here for my friends and my family.
• 56:09
SPEAKER_05: I'm not really here for the country.
• 56:11
SPEAKER_05: Um, and there's a lot of backlash going back and forth, you know, from other athletes that are there, from former athletes, Michael Ruzioni from the old 1980 Olympic hockey team that basically said, if you're not there for the USA, pack your crap and go home.
• 56:22
SPEAKER_00: I love my hockey players.
• 56:23
  SPEAKER_00: I love hockey.
• 56:24
  SPEAKER_05: There's a lot of that.
• 56:26
SPEAKER_05: Um, but I I think, you know, we have lost, the United States has lost uh the focus and emphasis on the Olympics.
• 56:33
SPEAKER_05: It's been overshadowed by pro sports.
• 56:34
SPEAKER_05: Uh it's there's a million reasons why we don't care about the Olympics anymore.
• 56:38
SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, and and so it's it's suffering.
• 56:41
SPEAKER_05: We touched on it a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was last week when we were talking about college funding, uh, NIL and that.
• 56:48
SPEAKER_05: And and so we're starting to lose some of those Olympic sports in college at college level competitions.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_05: Um so overall, I think we are losing the love for the Olympics with some exceptions.
• 56:59
SPEAKER_05: People will always love figure figure skating.
• 57:01
  SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
• 57:02
SPEAKER_05: Personally, but people love it, right?
• 57:03
  SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
• 57:04
SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, we we love you know certain things, certain sports, both summer and winter Olympics that we always pay attention to.
• 57:10
SPEAKER_05: Um, but but I think overall the United States, we don't care much about the Olympics anymore.
• 57:14
  SPEAKER_05: We really don't.
• 57:15
SPEAKER_00: And and you know, from from the conservative or this conservative's uh perspective, listen, we we have ideology fatigue, we have wokeism fatigue, and it seeps into everything.
• 57:25
SPEAKER_00: And everything that it seeps into, it destroys.
• 57:27
  SPEAKER_00: It absolutely destroys.
• 57:28
SPEAKER_00: And this is another case of it.
• 57:30
SPEAKER_00: You know, I was reading up on it, like I said, I had to read up and see what was going on.
• 57:33
SPEAKER_00: And of course, it's plagued with, you know, controversy and uh trans this and trans that and everything.
• 57:40
SPEAKER_00: And it's like once upon a time, we used to rally around the Olympics because of obviously national pride and all of that.
• 57:46
SPEAKER_00: But it was a in a good way, a spectacle and a celebration of excellence, you know, in their lane, their field, their, their, their sport.
• 57:56
SPEAKER_00: And that's we watched for that, like to be so proud of our country and to admire and respect the talent and and skills and dedication that it takes to be able to do the things that they were doing, whether whether it's um, you know, figure skating or or whatever else, you know, all of the things.
• 58:13
SPEAKER_00: And now it's just it's all it's all political BS.
• 58:16
SPEAKER_00: It's all you know, culture wars over this and that.
• 58:22
SPEAKER_05: So the 1980 Olympics when the boycott happened, yeah, right?
• 58:26
SPEAKER_05: Uh the United States boycotted the summer, the Olympics, that was massive, massive news.
• 58:32
SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, there were athletes that for decades beyond that were like, listen, I was at the peak of my game, I was on the 80 Olympic team, and then we didn't go and it was resentful, but it was huge, right?
• 58:40
SPEAKER_05: That was a massive uh news story.
• 58:42
SPEAKER_05: I think now, like because like you said, it's fatigue.
• 58:45
SPEAKER_05: Everybody, everything is so political.
• 58:47
SPEAKER_05: Um, and listen, you go back to the 60s, you know, Olympics, you know, you had the uh African-American, the black power, right?
• 58:52
  SPEAKER_05: A little political statement.
• 58:54
SPEAKER_05: Um, so it's not that the Olympics have been devoid of politics, but when politics stepped into the Olympics, it was a big deal.
• 59:00
SPEAKER_05: Now it's all the time, literally all the time.
• 59:02
SPEAKER_05: You know, they had um athletes, you know, under the refugee flag from countries that don't exist or that they can't perform, right?
• 59:09
  SPEAKER_05: That's that's a thing.
• 59:11
SPEAKER_05: Um, and you can even go so far to argue, you know, Puerto Rico, US territory, who is, you know, they argue all the time that they want to be part of the United States.
• 59:20
SPEAKER_05: They perform and compete separately from the United States at the Olympics.
• 59:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 59:24
SPEAKER_00: So explain that one to me, right?
• 59:25
SPEAKER_05: Again, it's political, whether you agree with it or not, it is political.
• 59:28
SPEAKER_05: So I think that has stained the Olympics as a whole, and I think that's why we are tired of it.
• 59:33
SPEAKER_05: And I think between that and the access over the phone, right specifically, I think we've lost lost the love for the Olympics.
• 59:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, literally every public industry is polluted now.
• 59:45
SPEAKER_00: Entertainment, sports, uh, you know, you name it, uh uh the most obvious news media, you know, all everything has been polluted by uh division, really, and the the selling of sewing and selling of division.
• 1:00:01
SPEAKER_00: That is what, you know, if you want to break everything down to a very basic problem, that's it right there.
• 1:00:07
SPEAKER_00: If you are a musician, take a lesson from Elvis Presley, who said, I'm just a singer, I'm just I'm just a music man, you know, I just perform.
• 1:00:17
SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, give me back my football.
• 1:00:20
SPEAKER_00: Just play the damn sport.
• 1:00:22
SPEAKER_00: I don't care about your political beliefs.
• 1:00:24
SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you agree with me or disagree with me politically.
• 1:00:26
  SPEAKER_00: I don't want to know.
• 1:00:27
SPEAKER_00: I would rather just watch you excel and be the best at what you do and compete against other people who are the best at what they do or in their, you know, capacity.
• 1:00:38
SPEAKER_00: Can we just have that, guys?
• 1:00:39
  SPEAKER_00: Can we please?
• 1:00:40
SPEAKER_05: And listen, folks, we've got two big events in the next two years coming to the United States that will, I think, determine our future path on international competition.
• 1:00:48
SPEAKER_05: The world we're hosting the World Cup this summer, which has already been politicized by a number of people, including President Trump.
• 1:00:54
SPEAKER_05: Um, so that that is, you know, that's coming up very, very quickly.
• 1:00:58
SPEAKER_05: But also, we have the Summer Olympics in two years.
• 1:01:01
SPEAKER_05: Our response, our participation, how we act, um, and uh how we pay attention to the Olympics in two years that are going to go on here in the United States, um, I think is the greatest indicator of all on what our future path looks like.
• 1:01:13
SPEAKER_05: Because we go into I don't care mode in the 2028 Olympics that we host.
• 1:01:19
SPEAKER_05: Um, I think the Olympics are forever lost in the United States, unrecoverable.
• 1:01:23
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's sad.
• 1:01:24
SPEAKER_00: From um, you know, just if I were to even just bring it down to nostalgia, like just from that, like it's sad.
• 1:01:29
SPEAKER_00: It makes me feel sad because I do remember watching that.
• 1:01:32
SPEAKER_00: I actually remember being annoyed with the, you know, with the sports that I didn't care about.
• 1:01:35
SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh, this is the only thing that's on.
• 1:01:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, I remember that, but it's okay.
• 1:01:39
SPEAKER_00: I would rather go back to that, you know, when you look back at things, it's like, oh, so I don't know, guys.
• 1:01:44
SPEAKER_00: I guess our our goal here is to not to succumb as I often do to the apathy of it all because they just wear you down, and that's not a good place to be.
• 1:01:55
SPEAKER_00: So um, you know, care less about stupid things and care more about meaningful things.
• 1:01:59
  SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's that's how I would sum it up.
• 1:02:01
SPEAKER_00: Um, speaking of, let's go to our last one real quick, our comments, our comments.
• 1:02:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'm gonna start with a rant and end with a rave, if that's okay with you, Clay.
• 1:02:10
  SPEAKER_04: Good, I like it.
• 1:02:11
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I I did not want to miss a single point, so I I pre-apologize to you guys.
• 1:02:15
SPEAKER_00: I'll be I'll be reading um a probably a good bit of my prepared statement.
• 1:02:20
  SPEAKER_00: I have a prepared statement here.
• 1:02:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 1:02:22
SPEAKER_05: I knew you were not happy, but wow.
• 1:02:24
  SPEAKER_05: All right.
• 1:02:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:02:25
SPEAKER_00: Because you know, it's emblematic of a widespread thing.
• 1:02:29
SPEAKER_00: So here is the um comment.
• 1:02:31
SPEAKER_00: This was on our video, or technically our reel from last week's show, talking about um, it was my my strongly stated opinion that ICE agents should be permitted to keep their masks on uh up in protection of not only themselves, but even more so their families, because they were being targeted by these raging lunatics.
• 1:02:54
SPEAKER_00: And I would say probably 98% of the comments that I saw across multiple platforms were in agreement with uh with us on that.
• 1:03:03
SPEAKER_00: And then you have the stands come in uh with their absurd cliche typical statements.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_00: And for those of you listening and not watching, I'm gonna read it to you.
• 1:03:15
  SPEAKER_00: Stans said, wrong.
• 1:03:16
SPEAKER_00: It's not the fault of those against ICE, it's the fault of these ice holes.
• 1:03:20
SPEAKER_00: He's so witty, uh, violating principles embedded in the Constitution, exclamation point.
• 1:03:25
SPEAKER_00: Are we supposed to feel sorry for these Nazis?
• 1:03:28
SPEAKER_00: Oh, look, the Nazis again.
• 1:03:29
  SPEAKER_00: Well, that's original, right?
• 1:03:31
SPEAKER_00: Uh let's say, are we supposed to feel sorry for these Nazis, terrorizing our communities, breaking down doors, tear gassing innocent protesters, trespassing, breaking car windows, and dragging citizens out into the street, kidnapping citizens and children and defiantly murdering.
• 1:03:45
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if he's saying definitely murdering murdering or if he meant to say defiantly, but whatever, that's what he has there.
• 1:03:50
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so here is my response to Stan and anyone who agrees with Stan.
• 1:03:57
SPEAKER_00: So the first thing I'm gonna address is that Stan gripes about uh violating, um violating principles embedded in the Constitution.
• 1:04:05
SPEAKER_00: So wrong, Stan, dead wrong.
• 1:04:07
SPEAKER_00: Uh ICE follow ICE follows uh congressional authority, sorry, my my screen just closed on me.
• 1:04:13
SPEAKER_00: ICE follows congressional authority straight from Article I, Section Eight.
• 1:04:17
SPEAKER_00: They knock, they announce, and force entry only when fugitives resist.
• 1:04:22
SPEAKER_00: No rogue stuff, just upholding the laws we demand.
• 1:04:27
SPEAKER_00: Uh that Nazi bomb that you dropped is pathetic, Dan.
• 1:04:31
SPEAKER_00: Nazis slaughtered millions in camps.
• 1:04:35
  SPEAKER_00: Stan.
• 1:04:37
SPEAKER_00: Stan, you're gonna get your name heard uh or said a lot in this.
• 1:04:41
  SPEAKER_00: Stan.
• 1:04:42
SPEAKER_00: Um so Nazis slaughtered millions in camps.
• 1:04:47
SPEAKER_00: ICE boots out scum like rapists and child abusers.
• 1:04:52
SPEAKER_00: One day they snagged five violent thugs, part of a 675,000 removals and 2.2 million self-deportation uh deportations since January 2025.
• 1:05:05
SPEAKER_00: 70% convicted crooks, including 1,000 predators, yanked in a holiday operation.
• 1:05:12
SPEAKER_00: Um, you're equating that to genocide.
• 1:05:15
SPEAKER_00: You sound absolutely ridiculous, Stan.
• 1:05:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh, you're terrorizing our communities is baloney.
• 1:05:22
SPEAKER_00: Neighborhoods thrive when ice hauls off, gangbangers and dodgers.
• 1:05:26
  SPEAKER_00: Lakin Riley's murder.
• 1:05:28
  SPEAKER_00: How about that one?
• 1:05:28
  SPEAKER_00: You remember that one?
• 1:05:29
SPEAKER_00: You probably don't because you probably don't care about her murder.
• 1:05:32
SPEAKER_00: Uh that's the nightmare from weak borders.
• 1:05:36
SPEAKER_00: And those Colorado radicals tipping off child rapists, Stan.
• 1:05:40
SPEAKER_00: They were tipping off child rapists.
• 1:05:43
SPEAKER_00: You must be so proud of them and yourself.
• 1:05:47
  SPEAKER_00: Um, that's despicable.
• 1:05:48
SPEAKER_00: So we've watched West Virginia and Maine spots reclaim safety after nabbing 650 plus threats and thousands more.
• 1:05:56
SPEAKER_00: Real terror comes from protesters chucking rocks.
• 1:06:00
SPEAKER_00: And mulotovs, jacking agent assaults up 1,300%, and death threats 8,000%.
• 1:06:08
SPEAKER_00: And you think that's okay?
• 1:06:10
SPEAKER_00: You think that's okay for them to get death threats?
• 1:06:12
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:06:13
SPEAKER_00: Breaking down doors, tear gassing innocent protesters, trespassing this whole thing, breaking car windows, dragging citizens out, this whole nonsense.
• 1:06:20
SPEAKER_00: It's pure overblown drama from you.
• 1:06:22
SPEAKER_00: Doors are breached with warrants, tear gas hits back at rammers and weaponized mobs in Minneapolis.
• 1:06:28
  SPEAKER_00: Trespassing?
• 1:06:29
  SPEAKER_00: Wrong.
• 1:06:30
  SPEAKER_00: No, sir.
• 1:06:31
  SPEAKER_00: That is lawful.
• 1:06:32
SPEAKER_00: The windows breaking as necessary.
• 1:06:35
SPEAKER_00: If it's required, if it needs to be done, it's going to be done.
• 1:06:38
SPEAKER_00: Don't care if you don't like it, if it doesn't look nice to you, Stan.
• 1:06:42
SPEAKER_00: And by the way, dragging citizens, that one really, it's more like fending off rioters hiding behind the I'm a citizen shield.
• 1:06:50
SPEAKER_00: Do us all a favor, Stan.
• 1:06:52
  SPEAKER_00: Step away from CNN.
• 1:06:53
SPEAKER_00: And then last of all, kidnapping citizens and children is a total myth.
• 1:06:58
  SPEAKER_00: No abductions.
• 1:06:59
SPEAKER_00: It's just enforcing orders on 1.4 million finals.
• 1:07:03
SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, I'm sorry, one last one.
• 1:07:04
SPEAKER_00: You're you're defiantly or definitely murdering cases like Renee Good and Alex Predi are honestly self-defense against aggressors, not murder.
• 1:07:14
SPEAKER_00: They put themselves in awful situations.
• 1:07:17
SPEAKER_00: Their deaths are absolutely tragic and should have never happened.
• 1:07:20
SPEAKER_00: And that falls squarely on them.
• 1:07:23
  SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you don't like it.
• 1:07:24
  SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you disagree.
• 1:07:26
SPEAKER_00: That is my position on that one.
• 1:07:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, and all I'm gonna say to you, Stan, is that your comments are ignorant, ignorant, false, and it spits on actual Nazi victims.
• 1:07:35
SPEAKER_00: So you should be ashamed of yourself.
• 1:07:37
SPEAKER_00: Maybe watch some survivor stories or I don't know, some real history before you make idiotic comments like that one.
• 1:07:43
SPEAKER_00: And that goes for every single person that drops the Nazi comment in anything like this.
• 1:07:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm so sick and tired of that despicable comment being put out.
• 1:07:54
  SPEAKER_00: Grow up, Stan.
• 1:07:56
SPEAKER_00: And also, have a blessed day.
• 1:08:01
  SPEAKER_00: So that's my rant.
• 1:08:02
SPEAKER_00: Do you need to add anything to that?
• 1:08:03
  unknown: Nope.
• 1:08:04
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 1:08:05
  SPEAKER_00: Nope.
• 1:08:05
SPEAKER_00: All you thank you, thank you.
• 1:08:07
SPEAKER_00: Now that I just stopped my foot and stood on my soapbox, I I want to close on this here.
• 1:08:15
SPEAKER_00: And I'm so thrilled that somebody commented on this.
• 1:08:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, Peaches said, uh, this was in regards to the Grammys.
• 1:08:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, she said we got back then, she's referring to that we got to see real stars and that there's very few left.
• 1:08:27
SPEAKER_00: And then she ended her comment with Jelly Roll was awesome.
• 1:08:31
SPEAKER_00: And I um Jelly Roll was awesome.
• 1:08:35
SPEAKER_00: And if you did not like me until after the fact, or maybe you haven't seen it at all, um, this was Jelly Rolls, a part of Jelly Roll's speech for winning the Grammy.
• 1:08:45
SPEAKER_00: It I'll probably cry, so just ignore me, guys.
• 1:08:48
  SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
• 1:08:48
SPEAKER_02: There was a time in my life, y'all, that I was I was broken.
• 1:08:52
  SPEAKER_02: That's why I wrote this album.
• 1:08:53
  SPEAKER_02: I didn't think I had a chance, y'all.
• 1:08:54
SPEAKER_02: There was days that I thought the darkest things, I was a horrible human.
• 1:08:57
SPEAKER_02: There was a moment in my life that all I had was a Bible this big and a radio the same size and a six by eight foot cell.
• 1:09:02
SPEAKER_02: And I believe that those two things could change my life.
• 1:09:04
SPEAKER_02: I believe that music had the power to change my life, and God had the power to change my life.
• 1:09:08
SPEAKER_02: And I want to tell y'all right now, Jesus is for everybody.
• 1:09:10
SPEAKER_02: Jesus is not owned by one political party.
• 1:09:13
SPEAKER_02: Jesus is not owned by no music label.
• 1:09:15
SPEAKER_02: Jesus is Jesus, and anybody can have a relationship with him.
• 1:09:18
  SPEAKER_02: I love you, Lord.
• 1:09:21
SPEAKER_00: Yep, we got me again.
• 1:09:22
  SPEAKER_00: Got me again.
• 1:09:23
  SPEAKER_00: I'm crying.
• 1:09:23
  SPEAKER_00: I don't even care.
• 1:09:24
  SPEAKER_00: Um, yes, yes.
• 1:09:26
SPEAKER_00: Listen, I I don't think whatever you will of jelly roll, uh, of his music, of his presentation, of his past, his present, his wife.
• 1:09:34
  SPEAKER_00: Think whatever you want.
• 1:09:35
  SPEAKER_00: It's all good.
• 1:09:36
SPEAKER_00: All I know is what I stated before, talking about, I think, hit rock.
• 1:09:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, if you are bringing people to Jesus, that is a beautiful, wonderful thing.
• 1:09:45
SPEAKER_00: God will sort all of it out.
• 1:09:46
  SPEAKER_00: Don't worry about it.
• 1:09:48
SPEAKER_00: Don't worry about his past.
• 1:09:49
SPEAKER_00: Don't worry about other things that he says, don't worry about his lyrics, don't worry about it.
• 1:09:53
SPEAKER_00: You have your relationship with him.
• 1:09:54
SPEAKER_00: Let Jelly have his, and let him bring people to have their relationship.
• 1:09:58
SPEAKER_00: And uh, that is the note that I wanted to close on for myself, Clay.
• 1:10:02
SPEAKER_00: You close them out with whatever you want to say.
• 1:10:05
SPEAKER_05: Hey, and listen, he is uh he is the American system in action.
• 1:10:08
SPEAKER_05: He is a uh, you know, somebody who grew up challenged, uh, made some poor decisions, uh, you know, judged and uh sentenced by uh, you know, a jury of his peers, as our system dictates.
• 1:10:18
SPEAKER_05: And he paid his debt to society and he came out better on the other side and and has made some life changes, and good for him.
• 1:10:23
SPEAKER_05: So um, I'm on board with that.
• 1:10:25
SPEAKER_05: That that's the way America works, folks.
• 1:10:27
SPEAKER_05: That's the way it's supposed to be.
• 1:10:28
SPEAKER_05: Uh, maybe not, you know, we would prefer you don't make the bad decisions on the front side, but when you do, you own it, you you, you know, you pay your debt and you move on.
• 1:10:35
SPEAKER_05: So it's good for him.
• 1:10:36
SPEAKER_05: But uh hey, great show, folks.
• 1:10:38
SPEAKER_05: A long one, but uh a lot of great things to talk about, a lot of things that need to be said.
• 1:10:42
SPEAKER_05: And uh we are uh very thankful that you pop in again.
• 1:10:45
SPEAKER_05: Keep it in the comments, uh, and uh, and you know, you might become famous.
• 1:10:48
SPEAKER_05: Elsa might have a prepared statement with your name on it.
• 1:10:51
  SPEAKER_05: Let's let's see.
• 1:10:52
SPEAKER_05: But uh we we do appreciate everybody tuning in, uh, whether it's on uh video or audio.
• 1:10:57
SPEAKER_05: And uh as always for me, keep moving, keep shooting.
• 1:11:00
  SPEAKER_00: Take care, guys.
• 1:11:01
SPEAKER_00: We'll see you in the next one.
• 1:11:02
SPEAKER_03: The headlines will change by tomorrow, but the patterns won't.
• 1:11:05
SPEAKER_03: Thanks for spending this time with us.
• 1:11:07
SPEAKER_03: We'll be back to keep asking the harder questions and telling the quieter truths.
• 1:11:11
SPEAKER_03: Until then, stay grounded, be discerning, and we'll see you next time.
