- 0:33SPEAKER_02: Welcome to Divas That Care Network.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: I am Joyce Banning, and I will be your host for this absolutely exciting, invigorating, robust lifestyle show.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: I am just overly excited today as if you cannot feel the energy in my voice.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: I am just so excited today to have with me two returning divas, and they are Lori and Sue Murphy, which is a mother-daughter team.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: And I am just very grateful to have them on.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: And with being grateful, I am also very grateful for each one of you listeners that have tuned in live today and the ones that will be listening to this on the podcast and sharing it with your family and friends.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: So to start off our show today, I am going to let Lori Murphy introduce herself and then we'll have Sue introduce herself.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: So, okay, girls, let's tell the listeners a little bit about each one of yourselves today.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Hi, Joyce.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much for having us again.
- 1:33SPEAKER_03: My name is Lori Murphy, and I am a proud mom of Sue Murphy that is reaching children globally with her happy kindness and joy that she's spreading, and I'm thrilled to be here.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: Hi, I'm Sue.
- 1:50SPEAKER_03: Oh, and I'm the creator of The Little Cruisers, and I'm really thankful to be on Joyce's show.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you so much, and I am just thrilled to have both of you on the show today.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: And as Lori was saying, she is the daughter of the one that is doing these comics, and that brings in to what the title of our show is today, Spreading Joy One Comic at a Time.
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness, how exciting this is, spreading joy in that way to so many children's lives.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: So, Sue?
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: I'm going to ask you, tell us a little bit about the Little Cruisers comics and how it got started.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: What triggered it in your life to start doing this?
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: So the Little Cruisers, they originally started out as wooden toys.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: And I was like 16.
- 2:49SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure I was 16.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: It was a while ago.
- 2:51SPEAKER_03: I know it's been seven years.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: And they started out as wooden toys, but originally what I did was I was going to school to be an aerospace engineer, and coming out of a science class, I felt a divide between God and science.
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: It's like either pick one or the other.
- 3:08SPEAKER_03: So I chose God, and I asked him, what do you want me to do?
- 3:12SPEAKER_03: And I believe everybody has something that they're supposed to do that God gave them a gift to do.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: It's just a matter of either asking him or finding it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: And luckily he showed me, and that is how the little cruisers were created.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: And that is why my main mission is to spread joy.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love that.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: Oh, what a way at 16 how you asked that.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: to which direction should I go in my life?
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: And you listened.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: That is a key factor.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: And yes, I so agree.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: I believe each one of us is given a talent and some multiple talents, just like what you're doing with the comics and creating the wooden toys.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: And if we just will let that talent shine.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: So many times we don't listen, I feel, and we bury those talents and they're so beautiful.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's That is just incredible.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Well, along with that, Lori, did you see this coming at 16?
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: Did you have a, oh, just a moment that thought, I wonder which direction, or did you know that your daughter was trying to choose which direction to go?
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: No,
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: actually, she was, well, what happened was in high school, she had to take, A prerequisite for robotics.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: And it happened to be wood shop class.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: Well, every day when she came home from school, she is terrified of wood saws, all the wood tools.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: And you can intervene any time you'd like to.
- 4:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: In my defense there, my woodshop teacher, he was a great teacher, but on the first day of class, he introduces the table saw, and he says, every eight minutes, somebody loses a hand to this.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: I come home like, I think I made a wrong decision.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: I don't want to lose my hand.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, so that's what I was dealing with.
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: But, you know, a few months in, she's helping in the class.
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: She's helping other students, and her teacher, her teacher just absolutely adores her and so she she made some pretty incredible things in that class but she came up with the toys and and if i remember correctly the toys turned into characters and then they met paper do you remember telling her that when you do something in life that you have to...
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: What you're going to do, you're going to have to like it because you're going to do it a long time.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: So never to do anything that, you know...
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: See, I have siblings and, you know, other people that wanted her, you know, go work for the state or go do this or go do that.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: I said, you have to like what you do.
- 5:59SPEAKER_03: You're going to do it a long time.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: So I have kind of pushed her into...
- 6:03SPEAKER_03: You can do pretty much anything you set your mind to do since she was, like, three.
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: So I think that she...
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: I think that she's really just– nothing she does surprises me enough.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: She is absolutely incredible.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: She sets out to do something.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: She completes it.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: And so with this, the comic was sent out to– I think she's right at 100,000 comics have went out.
- 6:31SPEAKER_03: And that's to kids all over the world.
- 6:34SPEAKER_03: And every month she faithfully sends them out.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: And kids, she gets– During, I'll let her talk here in a minute, but Christmas time, she does a Christmas coloring contest and they win their choice of a car, which car they'd like.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: She does
- 6:52SPEAKER_03: birthday mailers.
- 6:54SPEAKER_03: She does so much stuff for kids at no charge, you know, and it's just amazing on how genuine she is.
- 7:03SPEAKER_03: And I, like, I'm a proud mom, so I'm going to sit here and gloat this whole podcast.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: But it's, It's amazing.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: It is absolutely amazing.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, that is just beautiful.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: And I love how you said basically you always told her to follow her passion in life by telling her that.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: to do what she enjoyed doing, and I think that is some of the best advice, is follow your passion, and you can do it.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: You had the faith in her to influence her to know that she could do what she felt her passion was, and the woodworking class, it sounds like, was the start of all that.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, that is an incredible story, too, from you.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: I just love how you helped her, and you didn't...
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: It was just you...
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: And that's what's so beautiful, just coming natural from you on doing that.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: Well, you said it started with the woodworking and you started with making the toys.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: How did you decide...
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: Sue, at that time that you wanted to do, like, these certain woodworking toys?
- 8:21SPEAKER_02: Because, I mean, there's so much in woodworking you can do as far as toys.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: What led you to feel that this was something you wanted to do?
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: And from those toys, is that how the comics started then?
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: So the comics, or toys came first and then the comics.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: And the comics started because I was trying to figure out a way to reach more kids because I'm only one person that can make toys, and they take four days in production, and that's like with gluing and drying and all that.
- 8:52SPEAKER_03: So the comic, I could reach thousands of kids, and that's kind of where I was headed with that.
- 8:59SPEAKER_03: So reaching all of the kids.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 9:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so she just wanted to reach as many kids as she could, and she couldn't keep up with the toys, right?
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: on
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: her own.
- 9:13SPEAKER_03: And I tried to help.
- 9:15SPEAKER_03: And Joyce, I'm not talented in that way.
- 9:18SPEAKER_03: My poor house is a toy factory during Christmas.
- 9:26SPEAKER_03: Yes, I'm not a painter.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, well, and her toys are absolutely...
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: They're incredible because I'm on the website right now, and they are just absolutely adorable, those little wood toys.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: They are so cute.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, wow.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: Well, let's talk then, because you're reaching more kids through the comics, which started from the woodwork.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: Now, how does the comics work for parents that are listening here and going, oh, my goodness, this is something I want to get my kids involved in?
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: So tell us a little bit, Sue, about how the stories are with the comics and what you are trying to bring out to the kids when you send them these comics on a monthly basis, if you would, please.
- 10:22UNKNOWN: Sure.
- 10:23SPEAKER_03: So each comic is obviously different, and sometimes they branch off and they teach cooking or they teach about gardening.
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: Other times it just teaches kindness or responsibility.
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: I think with the number 21 with Pet City in movies, what was it called, Frankie and His Fish, she has watching him and watching the fish, and the fish somehow disappears.
- 10:47SPEAKER_03: So that particular one is one of my favorites, so I brought it up.
- 10:51UNKNOWN: Yeah.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: that
- 10:52SPEAKER_03: one taught responsibility and but there's a lot of them like there's they're my favorite but then again i wrote them so i kind of have a bias to it
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: now you talked about at christmas time and stuff do you do like a holiday comics like say we've got Thanksgiving and Christmas and going into the new year and there's Valentine's, do you kind of center around the holidays a lot of times when there is one in that month?
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: I do.
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: I do Thanksgiving.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: I do Christmas and Valentine's Day and Fourth of July.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: And Thanksgiving usually is my favorite because I gear those to either being grateful or thankful or something of the sort.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: That is just incredible.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: I was writing, making some notes of what you are sharing with the children.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: It's not just a comic.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: It's also a teaching comic is what I would say on how...
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: giving them something to think about on, like, responsibility and how you put it into a child's perspective where they can really enjoy it and say, oh, wow, this child I like that, being able to be responsible and the kindness and cooking and gardening and at Thanksgiving being grateful because I always, my thought is gratitude changes your attitude.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: And I mean, started at a young age and it just makes such a difference when you stop and are grateful for things.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: So I love how you're incorporating that into the comics.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: That is incredible.
- 12:42SPEAKER_02: So how, you said you send them out monthly.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: is it a subscription that people can apply to or how do they get involved with having their children receive the comics on a monthly basis?
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: So it is, you can either get it in the mail or you can get it through email because I noticed sometimes when we ship outside the United States, some people can't get the mail like from us.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: So it is a subscription and sometimes, You are welcome to pitch in.
- 13:16SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 13:17SPEAKER_03: Well, she had it free for the first five years, four and a half years.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: She wanted to spread it so that everybody could get one.
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: There was no charge.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: But she's up to$3,000 a month in comics going out every month.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: And with postage and everything, she really, she's really, you know, it's at the point now that she set up a subscription comic for it.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Oh, yes.
- 13:44SPEAKER_03: Originally, there would never be a charge, but she's just got to that point.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: And we found something very interesting when she applied for a bulk mailing permit.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: A lot of the addresses needed to be corrected or, you know, it was a street instead of a drive or something that just didn't match up in the postal service system.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: And she had to go in and physically find it and correct the address in order to get the bulk mailing permit.
- 14:08SPEAKER_03: And she found that a lot of her comics were going to orphanages, foster care, just low-income properties and even prisons.
- 14:18SPEAKER_03: And so it was a real eye-opener, you know, that this comic might be the only joy somebody might have or that they look forward to every month.
- 14:30SPEAKER_03: So, you know, and the spreading the clean values and the good morals and just as a parent, I'm seeing a lot of stuff out there that I wouldn't Sue's an adult, but, you know, as a parent looking, going, wow, I wouldn't want my children to be exposed to a lot of the stuff that's out there today.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: And so the clean content, as a parent, I'm thinking that's great.
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: You have a choice.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: You know, you have a choice on what your children, you know, what entertainment they get to, you know, receive.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, and that's, I mean, that is so exciting because, you know, are so excited when they get something in the mail.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: And to have it addressed just to them, I can just see how their faces light up, that this is something they will look forward to on a monthly basis.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: And oh, that is just so neat.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: And yes, with the price of postage now, I can understand why you've had to go to having a pay subscription because that's that's a lot it adds up quickly when you start mailing over 3 000 out and all over the world and that's what's so neat too that you're not just limited to the united states so it is open to all of our listeners because we are a global global organization so and so are you you guys are global with what you are doing with these comics Oh, my goodness.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: That is just incredible.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: Well, I am on that website, too.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: And would one of you like to share the website address, which we will have on the show when we produce it and have the links and everything?
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: But what is the website that people can go to and see the Little Cruisers comics?
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: That would be the littlecruisers.com.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: Pretty simple.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: It's just the
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: name of it.
- 16:31UNKNOWN: Oh.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, well, that is so, so neat.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: Well, how many little cruisers are there in the wooden toys and in the comics that are involved in the little cruisers comics?
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: So there's five main ones, and that would be Trudy, Frankie, Archie, Louise, and Nelson.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: So they're the main characters, and they show up in every comic almost.
- 16:58SPEAKER_03: But then there's sub-characters, like there's Lily and Kenny.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: And then...
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: Guest characters.
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there's guest characters.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: And when one of the comics, which is a three-parter, I was writing the backstory of their hometown called Axleton, and there was new characters there because it was taking place in the past, so they couldn't technically be there because they weren't there.
- 17:20SPEAKER_03: So there was new characters there, and that was Evie and Sammy, and that happens to be one of my favorites.
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: And I think there's a lot of them, actually, because I've done it now for five years, and So, like, one of the Thanksgiving ones where Nelson does the food drive, there has to be a lot more characters because he's doing a food drive.
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: And that was called, I think that comic was The Perfect Thanksgiving.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: He wanted to give everybody a perfect Thanksgiving, so he did a food drive.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: Oh, how beautiful.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, my.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: Well, what talent you have to think of...
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: How to write up all these comics.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: That is what just amazes me.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: And then you yourself do all the drawing of the comics each monthly and all the writing and everything.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: Am I correct on that?
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: You do.
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: I mean, you are.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, girl.
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: She's the
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: one-man band there.
- 18:20SPEAKER_03: I am a one-man band.
- 18:21SPEAKER_03: And sometimes it's like writer block gets me and it kind of gets bad because I'm like, how am I going to top that last one I just did?
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: So I'm more into a labor type of worker.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: And, you know, I can build anything.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: I can fix a lot of things.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: I can't.
- 18:41SPEAKER_03: I don't.
- 18:42SPEAKER_03: I had no idea writer block was a real thing until it happened to her.
- 18:46SPEAKER_03: And she's like, I can't, I've got nothing.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: I'm like, she goes, I need to go for a walk.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: And I had no idea.
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: It's amazing to watch her so alive with, with the little cruisers and come up with what she does because she, I have to give her dad credit on this one.
- 19:02SPEAKER_03: Cause she didn't get this from me.
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, sorry.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: It's around 2 o'clock in the morning that I start writing.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: So I keep weird times.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: Well,
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: that's when you're inspired.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: Oh,
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: that is just so neat.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Well, when you said you get writer's block...
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: What are some of the ways, your mom just said that you go for a walk.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: Is it getting out in nature, that kind of, or being around animals?
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: What kind of helps unblock you, I guess I would say?
- 19:42SPEAKER_03: Probably a combination of sweet tea and my plants.
- 19:45SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: But other than that, yes.
- 19:54UNKNOWN: Okay.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: yes sweet tea is a big a big helper yeah it is because when i go to write i don't write it on a computer i kind of old school i have my i have a typewriter and i write all the comics scripts on the typewriter before they get put in drawings so it's usually i have my music going sweet tea and typewriter that's how it happens with the writing the comics
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: That is too awesome.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: You said you're kind of the old school way.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: And oh, my goodness.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: And then it just the words start to flow.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: The angels, the spirits, the universe, God is just putting them in front of you because they know that's your passion.
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: And it's always right there to be helping you to create them.
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's incredible, girl.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: I love that, how you do that.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: She's got like, what is it, like a 1955 Robin Egg Blue.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's a 59.
- 20:53SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: Royal Deluxe.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: Typewriter.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: It's my pride and joy.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: It's all for seeing.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: You'll hear her in there.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
- 21:01SPEAKER_03: It's nothing like a computer.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: It's quite loud.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Oh, my God.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: At 2 in the morning, especially.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: Oh,
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: yeah.
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: I try to block the noise, because I'll make sure I do it in, like, the living room, because it does be kind of loud.
- 21:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's goodness.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: So you write the scripts, and then you draw the comics to go with the scripts for each month, correct?
- 21:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do, because it's so much easier to draw it if you know what you're drawing.
- 21:31SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:32SPEAKER_03: Instead of sitting there, because I've tried to do it the other way around, and you just sit there for hours, and you're like, what am I going to draw?
- 21:38SPEAKER_03: What am I going to do?
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: At least with the script, it's easier to draw.
- 21:42SPEAKER_03: Oh,
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: my goodness.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: Well, about how is it like a letter page of...
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: comics each month or is it like a postcard or what what kind of size wise would you say that your comics come in when they come in the mail to a subscriber
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: so they're eight and a half by 11 and they're a high gloss paper so they're not like um printer paper if that makes sense they're like durable almost like a poster paper and And there's usually three rows of, like, little blocks.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: It's not your typical or your normal script comment that you would see in, like, a newspaper.
- 22:23SPEAKER_03: It's more there's, like, an actual storyline behind it.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: So there's three rows of it.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, how neat.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, goodness.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: So you probably kind of have, like, do you have a title for each one of the comics in each month?
- 22:39SPEAKER_03: I do.
- 22:39SPEAKER_03: So in the first block, it'll say Little Cruisers comic number, say, 34.
- 22:44SPEAKER_03: and whatever the name of the comic is.
- 22:48SPEAKER_03: And usually, like, for instance, Detective Frankie, and I'm not sure if you're familiar with that one, but he does the detective work in, like, Axelton, and his actually has a cover photo on the top of it.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: So when people get him, they know that it's Detective Frankie.
- 23:08UNKNOWN: Okay.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, how special.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Now, since you've been doing it for so long, do you ever go back to like maybe when you first started and kind of incorporate some of those, some of what you've written and maybe add to it or something like that?
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: Do you do that since you've been in it for so long?
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: Sometimes I'll post like the old ones, like a throwback Thursday, like here's the first one.
- 23:37SPEAKER_03: The art has changed completely.
- 23:40SPEAKER_03: Like, not completely, but it's kind of...
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: They just got better.
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: I don't know if it's, like, the computers I use or it's the drawings themselves, but you can notice a difference.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: But they're still the same old storylines and stuff.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, you just kind of...
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: You kind of add up the pictures and stuff to go with it.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
- 24:03UNKNOWN: Yeah.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: That is just incredible.
- 24:05SPEAKER_02: Well, when you go to the website, I am just sitting here in awe going, okay, I am talking to the girl that does all of this.
- 24:14SPEAKER_02: This is amazing.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: I am like, oh, wow.
- 24:17SPEAKER_02: I'm
- 24:18SPEAKER_03: the mom of this girl.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: Yes, and I'm talking to the mother, too, of this girl.
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, my goodness.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: This is quite a team.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: I understand.
- 24:30SPEAKER_02: You have every reason to be.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: And I must say, too, your daughter has every reason to be proud of her mother because you are an incredible...
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: Both of you are incredible women.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: What you're doing out in the world...
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: You are so welcome.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: What you are doing out in the world is just what Divas That Care is all about.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: Just...
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: working to make the world a better place and what a better way that you're coming in and starting is with the little ones because you're teaching them kindness you're teaching them gratitude responsibility teaching them cooking and gardening oh my goodness those are traits that a lot of times you don't see so much anymore which you're going back to the good basics of what and help teach the kids is how I feel.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: So I just love what you're doing.
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: It is just absolutely beautiful.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: We
- 25:34SPEAKER_03: have one other thing that's really exciting that's in the making, and it's Archie's Kitchen, and it's going to be a live-action show for kids.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: So it will be part animated and part live-action.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: Oh, my
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: goodness.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Tell me more, please.
- 25:54SPEAKER_03: So the show will– there's a little boy that's going to play in it.
- 26:00SPEAKER_03: His name is Asher, and he'll be Chef Asher with Archie.
- 26:03SPEAKER_03: And they will teach kids how to cook, and Archie will teach the history behind the food itself and have a little I Spy game that's in the show as well.
- 26:15SPEAKER_03: And I think we started filming in, what, December?
- 26:17SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 26:18SPEAKER_03: So that's another big exciting thing that's happening so that we can reach more kids and– put more clean content out there in the world and just spread more joy, light, and value out there.
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness.
- 26:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, that is incredible.
- 26:34SPEAKER_02: Now, will that be on, like, a podcast?
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: Or how will people be able to view this with their children?
- 26:46SPEAKER_03: So we're in the process of building an app.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: It's going to be on our website and possibly YouTube Kids.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: Oh my, oh, that just sounds, that sounds amazing.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: And now to think of all the different things for the kids for them to cook and, oh, I love it.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: That is, that is incredible.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: I have a feeling some adults can watch this too and kind of learn because I know quite a few adults that they don't do a whole lot of cooking.
- 27:16SPEAKER_02: That would be me, Joyce.
- 27:19UNKNOWN: Yeah.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: So I think this is going to be one that, well, and I'm sure the comics are too for adults and the kids, but I'm pretty sure the cooking is going to be for both also.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love that.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: And you're planning to, now when do you feel this will be released for people to start viewing?
- 27:41SPEAKER_03: So probably around the beginning of 2023.
- 27:43SPEAKER_03: Oh, wow.
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: So I'd say about March.
- 27:48UNKNOWN: Uh-huh.
- 27:49SPEAKER_02: And that's not very far away.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: Not at all.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, man.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: Now, how long has this been in the works, if I may ask?
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: This has been, I would say, the beginning of this year because we've been trying to, we've literally set up a set in the other building on our property.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: So that is completely set up for it.
- 28:10SPEAKER_03: And that's taken quite some time.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, I believe that because there's a lot to go into that.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: That would take, because you basically are creating a whole kitchen in another building outside of the home and getting everything ready for it.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, my goodness, you too.
- 28:32SPEAKER_02: This is just amazing.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: Both of you two are absolutely incredible.
- 28:36SPEAKER_03: Pretty incredible too, Joyce.
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: Oh,
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: well, thank you.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, you are so welcome.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: I am just overly excited for everything that the two of you are doing together.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: It is just amazing.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: And I love how you support one another.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: That is what is so awesome too as a mother-daughter team.
- 28:57SPEAKER_02: You're very supportive of each other.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: I can hear it in your voices.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Yes,
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: we
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: are.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: Well, definitely.
- 29:07SPEAKER_02: Well, as we start to come to the end of the show, which has just flown by and which I knew it would, what are some things you would each like to tell our listeners or what else would you like to share?
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: We have a few minutes left, so I'm just going to let each one of you share whatever you feel led to that our listeners need to hear today.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: And Lori, we can start with you or if Sue feels she would like to start, I'll just let you two decide which one of you would like to share with our listeners some final thoughts or tips that each one of you have.
- 29:48SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm going to just put her on blast because she pointed for me to go first.
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: So I think if everybody could just be kind to one person every day, it would be completely contagious because you never know what somebody's going through.
- 30:04UNKNOWN: Yes.
- 30:05SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love that.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: That is such good advice and such a great tip.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: That's a golden nugget to leave with our listeners today.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much, Lori.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: And Sue, how would you like?
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: You're welcome.
- 30:21SPEAKER_03: I would want to let people know that anything is possible with God and determination.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: Amen to that.
- 30:29UNKNOWN: Yes.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: Yes, how true that is.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Everything is possible with God, with however our listeners are thinking, be it God, the universe, their angels, their spirits.
- 30:42SPEAKER_02: everything is possible and just I love what you guys said in the beginning too is follow your passion oh this has just been incredible and I have to ask both of you because I really would like to have both of you back on my show especially as you start filming the series with the cooking I think that would just be incredible and as we get more into Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I would love to have have you guys back and share some more of what's happening with the little cruisers and with the new cooking experience.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: Would that be a possibility for the two of you to come back on my show?
- 31:25SPEAKER_03: That would be great.
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we would love to.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 31:29SPEAKER_02: You heard it, listeners.
- 31:30SPEAKER_02: They agreed to it.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: So we are definitely going to have Lori and Sue Murphy back.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: And I just want to thank both of you for sharing your your talents, and everything you are doing to help make the world a better place.
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: And it is just incredible.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: Thank you both so much, and I wish you both a very magical evening.
- 31:52SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 31:52SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much, Joyce.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: You are so welcome.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: You are so very welcome.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: And I want to thank all of our listeners for listening to this absolutely amazing and incredible interview with our mother-daughter divas, Lori and Sue Murphy.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: Please, please share this show with all your family and friends.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: And remember, we will have all of their links below because this is a great way to share with your children too.
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: And share it worldwide because they are emailing, they are mailing out these comics worldwide.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: So it is for the whole universe to look at.
