- 0:04Speaker 1: Where we rolling. Hey's we rolling, bitch? We might be Hey, welcome, welcome,
- 0:12Speaker 1: Look man, it's the boulet Cap Podcast. We got a special,
- 0:18Speaker 1: special special interview today with Dame Dash. Now Dame Dash
- 0:27Speaker 1: is someone who has a kid. Was you know, kind
- 0:29Speaker 1: of like the epitome of a hip hop entrepreneur to me,
- 0:33Speaker 1: you know, like watching backstage seeing Dame and just being
- 0:37Speaker 1: the guy behind the rock a fella rockaware, just empire. Man,
- 0:41Speaker 1: he's a legend, He's a visionary. Uh. We actually went
- 0:45Speaker 1: to his studio, which was not far up the road
- 0:48Speaker 1: from our studio and sat down with him. He had
- 0:53Speaker 1: you'll notice some drums in the background, his band was
- 0:56Speaker 1: jamming out and we had a dope conversation. There was
- 0:59Speaker 1: a lot of inebriation. I'm just gonna I'm just not
- 1:05Speaker 1: even gonna be honest with you. Let's just be honest.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I ate trooms with Dame Dash before the interview started,
- 1:13Speaker 1: and the shrooms hit me right about when the interview started,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure they hit him as well. So
- 1:23Speaker 1: with that being said, so many gems in this one
- 1:26Speaker 1: on shrooms with Dame Dash. It's the bulet Camp Podcast.
- 1:30Speaker 1: The Legend, the visionary. The CEO. Shout out to his
- 1:34Speaker 1: stut go to Dame Dash Studios, Man, watch this ship
- 1:36Speaker 1: on Fox soul on to be all that go support
- 1:39Speaker 1: the homie. We appreciate his time. Very busy guy, and
- 1:42Speaker 1: he sat down with us and that this is the interview.
- 1:45Speaker 1: All right, look bulet camp podcast. We got a legend
- 1:50Speaker 1: about to roll up some O. G Yeah, Dame Dash,
- 1:54Speaker 1: what's up? Man? Appreciate you sitting down, bro. I mean
- 1:57Speaker 1: I came through to my spot. Hey let me yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I've I feel like it's a really inspiring space too.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I got to kind of just see you rehearsing with
- 2:04Speaker 1: your band. Just tell tell me about Dame Dash Studios
- 2:09Speaker 1: where we are. You know, I saw you in there
- 2:12Speaker 1: jamming out with the band. Shouts to the homie Alien,
- 2:14Speaker 1: your drummer who I've known for a long time. Well,
- 2:18Speaker 1: really this is like a spaceship and we like time trap,
- 2:22Speaker 1: you know, and it's a place where, like, you know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: anything that inspires us, we just do you know what
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean? So it's music, movies, it's books, it's cartoons, educations.
- 2:34Speaker 1: You know, I'm a television network, but the programming is
- 2:38Speaker 1: are things that inspire me. You know, whatever I'm feeling,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I gotta do And I feel like that's the magic,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know, that's the trick. You know, that's the goal,
- 2:47Speaker 1: to be able to monetize things that you would do
- 2:49Speaker 1: for free. So we're just hanging out. That's everyone's going left.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I feel like, right, how to make it? Really we're
- 2:56Speaker 1: not really meant to work our whole life or that's
- 3:00Speaker 1: a slave mentality. We're meant to fucking party in that
- 3:03Speaker 1: funnel home life. But you got to figure out what
- 3:06Speaker 1: is a healthy party? You know, what's a sustainable party?
- 3:10Speaker 1: How can you feed your family off of Like why
- 3:14Speaker 1: do you have for they things you don't like to
- 3:15Speaker 1: feed your family? In fact, why do you have to
- 3:17Speaker 1: be separated from your family to feed your family? You
- 3:20Speaker 1: know what I mean? Why do you have to do
- 3:22Speaker 1: it in times that your family would be spending with you,
- 3:26Speaker 1: Like when the sun's out and son's not out, my
- 3:28Speaker 1: son's sleep my baby sleep yep, so he ain't missing
- 3:31Speaker 1: any dreaming And that's some real shit. Like the time
- 3:33Speaker 1: you would actually want to spend with your kids is
- 3:35Speaker 1: during the day. But then you if you have a
- 3:37Speaker 1: nine to five, well you're behind a desk, But where's
- 3:40Speaker 1: your kid behind a desk eight dollars a day. It's
- 3:44Speaker 1: just training him to fucking be all right with sitting
- 3:46Speaker 1: behind a desk when the sun's up, when he should
- 3:49Speaker 1: be in the fucking ocean looking at some water, running
- 3:52Speaker 1: around in the garden or something. You know what's crazy
- 3:54Speaker 1: is I got to give you Pops man, because you
- 3:57Speaker 1: had that Breakfast Club interview a few years ago go
- 4:00Speaker 1: where you talked about ownership, and that shit really like
- 4:04Speaker 1: resonated with me, so that that was my purpose. I wanted, yeah, man,
- 4:09Speaker 1: cause you know, like I've done radio for so long
- 4:12Speaker 1: and have worked for you know, the ihearts, the conglomerates
- 4:18Speaker 1: of the of the radio industry, and uh, at the
- 4:20Speaker 1: end of last year, I walked away from like terrestrial
- 4:23Speaker 1: radio in a sense of working for anybody and just
- 4:27Speaker 1: started my own syndicated radio show, start my own podcast,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and now I'm on Hell of Markets and all those
- 4:34Speaker 1: companies like iHeart, you know, like I have a partner,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I own it. Uh you know what I'm saying, Like
- 4:39Speaker 1: I still and I'm still on Real ninety two three
- 4:41Speaker 1: in La. But I'm on Real ninety two three in
- 4:42Speaker 1: La every night on my own terms and it promotes
- 4:45Speaker 1: everything you're doing that you w one hundred and I don't.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I don't. I don't work for them. You know what
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm saying. I used to work for iHeart you know
- 4:50Speaker 1: what I mean? My checks used to say iHeart media
- 4:53Speaker 1: and and you know, I kind of feel like like
- 4:57Speaker 1: that interview you did, Man, was a lot of inspiration
- 4:59Speaker 1: for me. So I just want to give you props, Man,
- 5:01Speaker 1: because that's some real shit. Like, you can't really say
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're a boss unless you're unless you're actually about unless
- 5:10Speaker 1: you actually have employees, you know what I'm saying it
- 5:12Speaker 1: like hey or somebody. Unless you actually have a business,
- 5:14Speaker 1: unless you're losing money to make money, unless you know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: unless you're taking that risk that gambled as as yours.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You know, unless you're a founder of something that came
- 5:22Speaker 1: from your brain. Yeah, you know, something that inspired you
- 5:25Speaker 1: and that you still behind failessly. Now, I've been seeing
- 5:28Speaker 1: you in there jamming out with your band bro and
- 5:31Speaker 1: kind of talk about what blue Rock is because I
- 5:33Speaker 1: saw I saw that that's something obviously for people who
- 5:36Speaker 1: don't know, Man, Black Rock was an incredible body of
- 5:39Speaker 1: work that you put out over to what was that
- 5:42Speaker 1: two thousand and six seven. Yeah, the first time I
- 5:47Speaker 1: ever heard the Black Keys was on that album. Yeah,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I feel like that album doesn't get talked about enough,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know, probably by people that wouldn't appreciate it, you know, right,
- 5:59Speaker 1: those kinds of things. To me, it's like drugs. You know,
- 6:02Speaker 1: you don't advertise them, you're just word of my mouth.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's so good people who just like if you know,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you know, type shit, right, That's the way I like it. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 1: for me, it's not about pop culture. It's about people
- 6:12Speaker 1: that are like minded. It's about a cold and the
- 6:16Speaker 1: epic where we're speaking in the room saying that's something
- 6:19Speaker 1: and no one else understands, right, because we're talking to
- 6:22Speaker 1: the boss, where everybody else is talking to slaves. Some
- 6:26Speaker 1: real shit. Like you'd be having a conversation in a
- 6:28Speaker 1: room full of thirty people and only two people are
- 6:31Speaker 1: on the same wavelength. It'd be rare that I even
- 6:34Speaker 1: have that conversation and let myself be in that situation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I've actually been able to architect where I don't have
- 6:39Speaker 1: to be around morons anymore. It's beautiful thing, bubble, you know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: it's a beautiful thing. I feel like too. You kind
- 6:46Speaker 1: of have had a lot of a big hand in
- 6:49Speaker 1: in bringing the Black Keys kind of to like the
- 6:52Speaker 1: forefront of like No, No, No No, No. I broke the
- 6:54Speaker 1: Black Keys, There's no doubt about it. No one knew
- 6:57Speaker 1: who they was. They didn't even do That's what I'm saying.
- 6:59Speaker 1: They didn't make video. They didn't even know what it
- 7:01Speaker 1: was like to actually have bread, oh, what it looked
- 7:04Speaker 1: like to spend it. I burnt them out and now
- 7:07Speaker 1: they're one of the biggest rock groups in the world.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So but you know, my beef with them is that
- 7:12Speaker 1: they never ever showed the appreciation to those artists that
- 7:15Speaker 1: broke them, which was hip hop and never George Jones
- 7:18Speaker 1: the most depths. Those guys didn't even know who they were.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They did it just because they trusted me, and then
- 7:22Speaker 1: all of a sudden they blew up and they were
- 7:23Speaker 1: like yo, they were gone. Their ideals changed. That's how
- 7:29Speaker 1: I looked at it. Pat McCartney was very disappointing to me. Wow,
- 7:34Speaker 1: And you know, telling them, I said, so, well, we
- 7:36Speaker 1: got to give you your flowers in the rock world too. Man.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, shout out to Dame Dash.
- 7:39Speaker 1: We gotta because because I'm a fan of of of
- 7:43Speaker 1: of of of that. Uh. I appreciate the leg of
- 7:46Speaker 1: of what you did man and what you continue to work.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It was a black rock too, That's what I'm saying.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You were telling me about that. But those guys were missing.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They didn't want to put it out and I didn't
- 7:54Speaker 1: feel like chasing them to put it up. But it
- 7:57Speaker 1: had sean price on it, tile lip quality. You know,
- 8:01Speaker 1: whiz Khalifa fucking currency before Black and Yellow Wi's Khalifa?
- 8:09Speaker 1: What is? What is blue rock? Blue Rock is my
- 8:12Speaker 1: music division within my media empire. It's where it's really
- 8:16Speaker 1: my therapy. Like I do music for fun. I'm a monetizer,
- 8:22Speaker 1: don't get it twisted, but it's not urgent to me
- 8:26Speaker 1: to monetize. It's not about when it's like, I'm building
- 8:28Speaker 1: a catalog of things that will be considered vinyl for
- 8:32Speaker 1: people that appreciate real music and instrumentation, and just like
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know, the effort it takes. You know, it took
- 8:38Speaker 1: us two days to set the room up just to record,
- 8:41Speaker 1: because it's an art. If you look at what they're doing,
- 8:44Speaker 1: they're recording in different rooms, recording live. It's an art,
- 8:49Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I was watching this documentary on Netflix
- 8:53Speaker 1: No on Disney Plus about the Beatles and they're doing
- 8:55Speaker 1: exactly what I've been doing. I'm like, the Beatles been
- 8:58Speaker 1: copying me. That's how I felt. You know, that's fair man.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I definitely think you know, you've laid a lot of
- 9:08Speaker 1: the groundwork for a lot of the stuff that's popping
- 9:10Speaker 1: right now. So you know, I thought the biggest compliment
- 9:12Speaker 1: that Kanye gave me was the original black hipster. The
- 9:15Speaker 1: original black hipster, Yeah, because that's I feel like that's
- 9:18Speaker 1: what every kid wants to be. And I really I
- 9:20Speaker 1: guess if Kanye said it, If Kanye said it right,
- 9:23Speaker 1: who we kind of look as the guy who brought
- 9:26Speaker 1: wearing pink polos to hip hop and you know, kind
- 9:30Speaker 1: of normalizing like certain aspects of fashion and music. If
- 9:34Speaker 1: he said it, then well he made it everything that's
- 9:37Speaker 1: unnormal to be normal. Yeah. I mean, I feel like
- 9:41Speaker 1: that Drink Champs interview obviously was a moment that we'll
- 9:45Speaker 1: live for hip hop, that will live on forever. All
- 9:48Speaker 1: our interviews are Anybody in My Bloodline interview was classic.
- 9:54Speaker 1: But what Kanye said about you essentially being the architect,
- 9:58Speaker 1: being the visionary, I mean I remember as a kid
- 10:03Speaker 1: seeing you on backstage and being like, man, this guy's
- 10:08Speaker 1: this guy's the that's that's the CEO, right. I remember
- 10:10Speaker 1: you yelling at DJ Clue for wearing the deaf jam
- 10:12Speaker 1: leather jacket and just being like, man, like, I fucked
- 10:16Speaker 1: with I fucked with that. Just that mindset. They're like, yo, no,
- 10:20Speaker 1: we're Rockefeller. Like. They made it easy for me to
- 10:23Speaker 1: be me. You know, I like being batman the villains
- 10:29Speaker 1: and people that are doing wrong, but a hero to
- 10:31Speaker 1: those that need to be protected our culture. So you know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: they were a lot of fun to me, making examples.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You notice I shaped all that shit. You saw it
- 10:39Speaker 1: because I captured it, yep. I just wanted you to
- 10:42Speaker 1: see that. You know, that's how I treat them, sucking motherfuckers,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and y'all could treat them the same way too. That's
- 10:48Speaker 1: why I showed it and captured it. I want you
- 10:50Speaker 1: to see the truth. They make you believe that there's
- 10:53Speaker 1: something they're not and that you need them and you don't.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And behind closed doors, certain people kiss ass and certain
- 10:58Speaker 1: people make them kiss the I make them kiss the
- 11:01Speaker 1: ring or to make them bend the knee, I'll break
- 11:04Speaker 1: that back till they been the knee, and I think
- 11:07Speaker 1: that that is something that can be applied self awareness
- 11:11Speaker 1: of who you are and our culture represents. Were the
- 11:14Speaker 1: jewel of the universe, and the only way to control
- 11:18Speaker 1: the jewel is to make the jewel think that the
- 11:19Speaker 1: jewel is not the jewel. I'm not going for that
- 11:23Speaker 1: dumb shit. I know I'm the jewel. I shine and
- 11:26Speaker 1: my culture shines. I think that that has kind of
- 11:30Speaker 1: been the blueprint of the music industry right, making artists
- 11:35Speaker 1: think that they need the labor culture, make us fight
- 11:39Speaker 1: each other and fucking protect our oppressor like they fucking
- 11:43Speaker 1: are the plug. It's a good program, you know, kudos
- 11:48Speaker 1: to the enemy. But once we're aware of it, why
- 11:51Speaker 1: keep letting them winning that way? Knowing that it's just
- 11:54Speaker 1: a mental thing. Physically we kick ass and mentally too.
- 11:58Speaker 1: We just have to know it. And it takes. It takes,
- 12:02Speaker 1: like I feel like, finally takes doing it. But I
- 12:04Speaker 1: feel like, finally there's like a new generation of artists
- 12:07Speaker 1: that all the kids is listening. So I was invested
- 12:09Speaker 1: in the first place. I was like, these old motherfuckers
- 12:12Speaker 1: do not listen. They're just stubborn, they're complacent. They just
- 12:16Speaker 1: want to survive, get the next advanced check, survive, never
- 12:20Speaker 1: recoup and be depressed and then be like, what the
- 12:23Speaker 1: fuck I don't consider that living. Yeah, I feel like
- 12:26Speaker 1: they're finally this era of artists. At least it seems
- 12:30Speaker 1: like a young A lot of these younger kids understand. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: they do. But we do have to stop glorifying us
- 12:39Speaker 1: killing each other, because that's just them celebrating. That's a
- 12:43Speaker 1: w every time one of us gets hurt, and it's
- 12:46Speaker 1: us doing it to each other. Every time us doing
- 12:48Speaker 1: it to each other, and then the suicide mission, the
- 12:51Speaker 1: bad food we keep putting in our body. How are
- 12:55Speaker 1: you gonna trust your oppressure oppressor to feed you pissing
- 12:59Speaker 1: on your foot? Ooh, bro, I would never let my
- 13:02Speaker 1: enemy feed me. That doesn't make sense. It's not logical.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I never let the person that's knocking me down get
- 13:09Speaker 1: me food, religion, or anything. I'm not listening to nothing
- 13:13Speaker 1: you're saying because it's only to control me. I'm aware
- 13:16Speaker 1: of that. I think we all are. But everybody's pussy.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's the problem. Fear is implemented. It's a program to
- 13:23Speaker 1: stop us for making our dreams come true. And most
- 13:27Speaker 1: of the things we're scared of never happened until you
- 13:30Speaker 1: think about it so much that you manifested. You know,
- 13:33Speaker 1: when you're sitting around thinking about shit you're scared of,
- 13:35Speaker 1: that means you're not doing nothing about it. Because when
- 13:37Speaker 1: you're doing shit, you ain't thinking about the past. You're
- 13:40Speaker 1: thinking about what's in funny, you know. So if you
- 13:43Speaker 1: got time to reflect, that's too much time. You should
- 13:46Speaker 1: be working. Too much time reflecting the sucker shit to
- 13:49Speaker 1: me's lock in your wounds. I'd rather fight, And that's
- 13:54Speaker 1: what I want to be famous for fighting. I don't
- 13:56Speaker 1: want to be famous for rapping. I don't want to
- 13:58Speaker 1: be famous for acting. I want to be famous for
- 14:01Speaker 1: kicking some fucking ass to those that deserve it and
- 14:03Speaker 1: helping people that I look. And that's what I'm gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: go down to history for an ask kicker. Fear is
- 14:10Speaker 1: definitely the one thing right that keeps everybody in their place.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. We think of people who
- 14:17Speaker 1: won't take that risk to start their own business, or
- 14:20Speaker 1: we're talking about artists earlier, or don't even tell the truth.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You know. I did an experiment last week because I
- 14:26Speaker 1: was like, I don't understand how people are depressed. It's
- 14:29Speaker 1: so much fun to be healthy. And I was like,
- 14:32Speaker 1: there were some things that were bothering me with people
- 14:34Speaker 1: that were close to me, and I said, I'm not
- 14:35Speaker 1: going to talk about what's bothering me for until at
- 14:40Speaker 1: least they talk about it. And they didn't talk about it,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and I internalized it, and I was sad a little
- 14:45Speaker 1: bit every day because of that, and I was like, Fuck,
- 14:47Speaker 1: this is what depressure is. I'm never doing that again.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So I dealt with it. I articulated in a different way,
- 14:54Speaker 1: because the only way to change a scenario is to
- 14:57Speaker 1: do it different. You know. The thing about people is
- 14:59Speaker 1: that be like, oh, what is it always happening this way?
- 15:02Speaker 1: Because you fucking do it the same way every day.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You react the same way, you move the same I mean,
- 15:08Speaker 1: how do you expect a different result if you're not
- 15:10Speaker 1: doing anything different, you know? So I decided to approach
- 15:14Speaker 1: it a different way, and I wrote like letters and
- 15:16Speaker 1: shit and then it worked itself out. But at the
- 15:18Speaker 1: end of the day, what I know is I'm never
- 15:20Speaker 1: gonna ever let anything that's bothering me faster faster, because
- 15:24Speaker 1: that causes sadness, which causes cancer. It's not healthy to
- 15:27Speaker 1: be unhappy. Laughter is key as well. Laughter is key, man.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, I mean, just being here for
- 15:33Speaker 1: the last few hours, I feel like you kind of
- 15:35Speaker 1: have a great environment for creatives here for just nothing
- 15:39Speaker 1: that's a vibe in here. Man, this is what this is.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You know, sometimes you got to Macaveli yourself for peace.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I need the people leave me to fuck alone so
- 15:46Speaker 1: I could actually work on me and art detect the
- 15:49Speaker 1: environment that I could do daily to the extent that
- 15:51Speaker 1: I don't even see time. I can't. I'm like fifty,
- 15:54Speaker 1: and I'm like, what the fuck out that happened? I
- 15:55Speaker 1: don't feel fifty. I don't feel It's so much fun.
- 15:59Speaker 1: It's more fun than when I was. Wow, it's crazy.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That says a lot, man. That's why people should invest
- 16:04Speaker 1: in their future. See, when I was twenty five, I
- 16:06Speaker 1: looked at what I wanted to be doing in twenty
- 16:08Speaker 1: five years. It was like, I'm definitely not gonna be
- 16:10Speaker 1: trying to shake a fucking bottle on the stage. You
- 16:14Speaker 1: know I did that, right, of course. Of course. I
- 16:17Speaker 1: just saw you reenact the Dame dash Dance. From the
- 16:21Speaker 1: way it is happening, bro, I just saw that, I
- 16:23Speaker 1: was like, yo, you nailed it, like and then and
- 16:25Speaker 1: I just saw it dance I was you'd have thought
- 16:29Speaker 1: it was it was it was ninety nine or two thousand. Again,
- 16:31Speaker 1: it's my dance. If I ever can't do my own dance,
- 16:34Speaker 1: that's real fucked up. And it's like a it's like
- 16:37Speaker 1: a it's as much of a dance as it's just
- 16:39Speaker 1: like a moment. It's like a lot of moments, bro.
- 16:42Speaker 1: If you notice, it was like the Dame Dash dance
- 16:45Speaker 1: is like thirty different dances. It was every time I
- 16:47Speaker 1: fucking danced in a video and got captured. It was
- 16:49Speaker 1: just you know, me being free. How the freedom looks
- 16:54Speaker 1: like that dance? How was it? You know? It's really
- 16:57Speaker 1: funny when people try to do it. It It looks simple,
- 16:59Speaker 1: but you just can't do it. That doesn't look simple
- 17:01Speaker 1: to me. A little kickback and I'll be like, it's
- 17:03Speaker 1: simple to me. A little spind down to the floor,
- 17:06Speaker 1: the spin of the floor, want to smooth, it's like
- 17:08Speaker 1: an a one mixtape move on the floor with a bottom.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't know now, uh obviously you know, and I
- 17:23Speaker 1: do it. When I performed, Yeah, I was gonna say, like,
- 17:26Speaker 1: you know, you. You're getting there jamming out and you
- 17:29Speaker 1: have a band, you have a you have a full band,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you're singing like I got to hear some music, you know,
- 17:35Speaker 1: rock star? Yeah, Like like is that something? I mean,
- 17:37Speaker 1: obviously you're you're gonna monetize whatever you do, right, But
- 17:40Speaker 1: like you said, music, it's just it's just therapeutic for
- 17:43Speaker 1: you as well. Right. You know what happens is usually
- 17:47Speaker 1: how it started was coait for a second son, how
- 17:50Speaker 1: song was coming around and doing artistic things, and I
- 17:53Speaker 1: was like, I don't give a fuck. If your show's
- 17:54Speaker 1: not right, it doesn't matter. So I was like, I
- 17:58Speaker 1: sign your live, be a real artist, and go get
- 18:01Speaker 1: yourself a band. And he got a band. They were
- 18:04Speaker 1: all right, but you know, I was starting to rehearse
- 18:08Speaker 1: him to show him how to do it, and then
- 18:10Speaker 1: I ended up firing all them and ship. But you know,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and it just turned into me just fucking making just
- 18:16Speaker 1: as many songs. It's like a competition. Matter of fact,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna let him take you real quick. So what
- 18:22Speaker 1: happened with the Blue Rock boot Campus and walking through it.
- 18:25Speaker 1: He's been in the boot camp for three years, so
- 18:27Speaker 1: the Blue Rock boot Camp is something that is whole document.
- 18:32Speaker 1: What do you required? What are you required to do? Man,
- 18:35Speaker 1: give us the rundown. You're definitely gonna. You're definitely gonna.
- 18:40Speaker 1: If you have fear, he's gonna. He's gonna mirror whatever
- 18:45Speaker 1: you have in you and you canna have to overcome that.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And it's amazing because it's like on some real like
- 18:51Speaker 1: Karate Kid Master Splinter, it sounds like, it sounds deep
- 18:55Speaker 1: because I realized how much anger I have and and
- 19:00Speaker 1: and it was so funny because there was moments where
- 19:02Speaker 1: I was like, seeing that mirror and you overcome that,
- 19:06Speaker 1: and then you you have love. You have no choice
- 19:08Speaker 1: but to have love after that because the fear is hatred.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We have to understand that anyone who does have fear,
- 19:13Speaker 1: it has hatred and if you have hatred, you can't
- 19:15Speaker 1: have love. But yeah, so when we when we were
- 19:18Speaker 1: doing that, and then it became like every night it
- 19:20Speaker 1: was like he'd go do a song. Then he'd be like,
- 19:23Speaker 1: and then I go do a song, and then we
- 19:24Speaker 1: go back and forth, and it was like I'm calling
- 19:26Speaker 1: you up, yeah, performing wise, yes, yes, in the street whatever.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm never gonna send somebody to do something, gonna do myself.
- 19:38Speaker 1: That's some real ship. That's how everybody should be. If
- 19:40Speaker 1: I'm up there doing it, then you better be doing
- 19:42Speaker 1: it at least as good as me or better, way
- 19:45Speaker 1: better fifty right right, right right. That's some real ship.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And the whole process is gonna be you know, every
- 19:53Speaker 1: step of it. He's gonna be there and he's gonna
- 19:55Speaker 1: you know, if you if you're gonna like he always says,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you ain't gonna hustle me, you know what I mean?
- 19:59Speaker 1: So if you show up and you do it like,
- 20:02Speaker 1: he's gonna be there and he's gonna be like, O,
- 20:03Speaker 1: this is you know, it's not only the performance. What
- 20:07Speaker 1: else you gotta come from. You gotta come with the visuals.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You gotta come with that. I got a whole TV
- 20:13Speaker 1: show now, it's a whole Entourage Curby Enthusiasm show. Oh wow,
- 20:19Speaker 1: you can't be performing. What happens is every two, every
- 20:22Speaker 1: a certain day, I let all the artists that I
- 20:26Speaker 1: know come through and I have the band and they
- 20:29Speaker 1: gotta perform. But you can't just perform. You gotta come
- 20:32Speaker 1: and bring a visual screen. You gotta bring an experience,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, you know, so I
- 20:38Speaker 1: was shooting, shooting and edited every week for real, for real,
- 20:42Speaker 1: Like I think that that's that's something like like like
- 20:45Speaker 1: we talked about earlier, Like that might be one of
- 20:48Speaker 1: the only things from the older era of music, development
- 20:53Speaker 1: of artists, development of Let me tell you that that
- 20:56Speaker 1: that you know you had that rock chain for sure?
- 21:01Speaker 1: What's cleifland Jay electronic? Yep, all of them were in
- 21:06Speaker 1: DED one seventy two. I made all of them practice.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You don't see what I'm saying. Starting shout out to
- 21:13Speaker 1: Stally Rick Chris, one of the best. Chris, one of
- 21:16Speaker 1: the best live performers in the world. We did their
- 21:19Speaker 1: first videos, the first I have all their lives, first performance,
- 21:24Speaker 1: Slave bel did their first show. Slave Belts did their
- 21:26Speaker 1: first show on my basement. Wow. Yeah, And it's all
- 21:30Speaker 1: document that's big, you know what I mean. But you
- 21:33Speaker 1: can't come to me and tell me you got a
- 21:34Speaker 1: good record if you ain't got a good show. Yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 1: the live shows, so I need to see. That's important.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I want to see basically the way tell them how
- 21:41Speaker 1: you got in the in the loop in the first place? Right,
- 21:44Speaker 1: So me and his son were cool and your son
- 21:48Speaker 1: has a cookie company, right, Okay? And basically. Basically there
- 21:53Speaker 1: was a closing fact that we were making. I was
- 21:55Speaker 1: making merch out of right, and then I showed the
- 21:57Speaker 1: son and yeah it got to him. Man, wow, no, no,
- 22:01Speaker 1: But how did I let you start to be creative
- 22:04Speaker 1: in here? Oh? Because so I had just did a
- 22:07Speaker 1: publishing deal, right, so I'm a producer. Yeah, And I
- 22:10Speaker 1: was like, yo, I don't want to email beats no
- 22:13Speaker 1: more because I think it's disrespectful that it's like you'll
- 22:16Speaker 1: send me a pack. You know. It's like, if you
- 22:17Speaker 1: respect the creative, you want the studio. Yeah, exactly. So
- 22:22Speaker 1: I was like, man, I don't want to email beats
- 22:23Speaker 1: no more, and I want to do a beat gallery.
- 22:27Speaker 1: So uh, in here we I had visuals and each
- 22:31Speaker 1: beat had a color. That was when I had the
- 22:32Speaker 1: other side before COVID. It was like a huge thing.
- 22:36Speaker 1: And and I put QR codes on the wall. So
- 22:39Speaker 1: someone liked it. They could scan their phone on the
- 22:41Speaker 1: QR code. Davidian shout out David Sebastian Man's and when
- 22:46Speaker 1: you scan them as an artist before step and when
- 22:49Speaker 1: you scan the QR code, you got sent the stems
- 22:51Speaker 1: to the beat directly to your phone with no email. Wow.
- 22:55Speaker 1: So it was like this whole Steve Jobs presentation or whatever,
- 22:58Speaker 1: and yeah, and that's what happened. He did something creative
- 23:01Speaker 1: that I liked and creative and you bore people and
- 23:04Speaker 1: you bore culture. You can fucking do some shit. And
- 23:07Speaker 1: I just want to add to those lists. And now
- 23:09Speaker 1: Hassan and I will be the biggest there. We hey
- 23:12Speaker 1: represent Saint Pete. Yeah, Sat P seven to seven Man
- 23:17Speaker 1: bro the Bule the Boutle Hap podcast presented by odd Socks.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Those are my boys. We were just in Miami with
- 23:24Speaker 1: the odd Sox guys. Man. Yeah, shout out, hey, man,
- 23:26Speaker 1: that's that's a beautiful situation. Dame. I want to talk
- 23:29Speaker 1: to you man, like you know, obviously we talked about
- 23:33Speaker 1: this Drink Champs interview and and you know you you
- 23:35Speaker 1: and Kanye have been locked in uh forever, but uh,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I feel like you've been real close to him and
- 23:42Speaker 1: in in you know, some rough times for him, maybe
- 23:45Speaker 1: perceived by the public at least. You know, you've been
- 23:47Speaker 1: going through a lot of personal shit with his family
- 23:48Speaker 1: and stuff. But I know you've been spending a lot
- 23:50Speaker 1: of time with ya and even just like being out
- 23:53Speaker 1: in Wyoming a lot, Like do you feel like you
- 23:56Speaker 1: and Kanye have gotten closer than ever in the last
- 24:00Speaker 1: couple of years. Because it feels that way. I don't
- 24:04Speaker 1: really talk about that part. You know, he's an interesting
- 24:08Speaker 1: guy and you know our relationship. When he speaks on it,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm surprised, but you know, I don't really do that.
- 24:17Speaker 1: That's fair disrespectful him. Plus you're don I don't want
- 24:21Speaker 1: to trigger him at some real ship, man, that some
- 24:25Speaker 1: real ship. I wanted to. Yeah, I remember I bought
- 24:32Speaker 1: the double disc payd in full dream Team album as
- 24:37Speaker 1: a kid from the warehouse, and I threw in that
- 24:40Speaker 1: dream Team disc and We Are the Champions was the
- 24:43Speaker 1: first record on there, right, one of the most like iconic,
- 24:47Speaker 1: so like underappreciated historical moments in hip hop because that
- 24:51Speaker 1: was really when we heard Yay, before we knew who
- 24:54Speaker 1: the fuck he was. I mean, people, you know the
- 24:57Speaker 1: thing about that was it was h The reason for
- 25:01Speaker 1: is what I will say about Kanye is he's the
- 25:04Speaker 1: only one on a real level that's given me a
- 25:08Speaker 1: certain kind of respect, the only one. And it doesn't
- 25:11Speaker 1: matter because he's the biggest one, right, He's the only
- 25:13Speaker 1: banion in the whole crew. It's funny you know, but
- 25:17Speaker 1: he's the only one that's paid proper respect and he's
- 25:19Speaker 1: always been that guy. And what happened was I had
- 25:23Speaker 1: asked just Blaze to flip that beat for me, and
- 25:25Speaker 1: Just Blaze did not, and I was aggravated about it,
- 25:28Speaker 1: like I yelled at him about it, probably because I
- 25:30Speaker 1: found it disrespectful, like I send an order and you
- 25:33Speaker 1: fucking don't prioritize it. And I asked Kanye to do
- 25:36Speaker 1: He did it that day at night, and you know,
- 25:40Speaker 1: history was made. And it's just because of the respect
- 25:43Speaker 1: that he gave me. It's the reason why I was
- 25:45Speaker 1: so successful. Was the record the first record he got
- 25:48Speaker 1: played on the record on the radio as a rapper. Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 1: he can't, you know. It was a good and in fact,
- 25:53Speaker 1: that was the first moment, and it was the first
- 25:55Speaker 1: time Queen had actually cleared a sample. They cleared it
- 25:58Speaker 1: for me, and I feel it was the first time
- 26:00Speaker 1: we heard Twist officially wrapping that rock. Yeah, Twisted. He
- 26:05Speaker 1: always considered my brother him and Raw that was my brothers.
- 26:10Speaker 1: You know. I remember, like because I was trying to
- 26:12Speaker 1: do like a hostile takeover, I was taking common sense.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I had Tyler John legend it was like crazy, but
- 26:21Speaker 1: like Craig Coleman was giving me an issue when he
- 26:23Speaker 1: was at the at a show and I was like, yo,
- 26:26Speaker 1: why you don't just let it twisted? You know, he
- 26:28Speaker 1: was being the sucker about it. So I got on
- 26:30Speaker 1: the stage and I just gave him my rock chain
- 26:32Speaker 1: and was like, he's with us anyway? Fuck you. Yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 1: because Twister never actually signed with Rockefeller, right, it was
- 26:38Speaker 1: just fan, no signing family, So you were you were
- 26:43Speaker 1: trying to Also, Joe Buttons was signing me and so
- 26:46Speaker 1: was not signing me. Was on Rockefeller and so was nor.
- 26:49Speaker 1: No one even talks about that. I remember Noori being
- 26:51Speaker 1: on Rockefeller. Yeah, but Joe Buttons was. I don't know,
- 26:54Speaker 1: Joe was, Yeah, he doesn't talk about it. I was, uh,
- 26:59Speaker 1: And Joe Buttons don't pass plugs for the record, you
- 27:02Speaker 1: were chosen my niggas, but past the plug. During that time,
- 27:06Speaker 1: you were you were also trying to bring Common into
- 27:09Speaker 1: lib over. You were saying, yeah, ask her, that's crazy, Yeah, Kanye,
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know it's a different it's a young it's a
- 27:16Speaker 1: whole Ask Kanye. But you know those are there's a
- 27:19Speaker 1: funny story. You know, you got to think like, remember,
- 27:21Speaker 1: I was the guy that was touring Kanye, but I
- 27:24Speaker 1: was also having John Legend tour with us, So you know,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I laid that foundation. I thought he was signing with us.
- 27:30Speaker 1: He didn't. I was like, that was a bullshit. But
- 27:33Speaker 1: you'd be surprised how many careers I launched on the love.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I mean, we talked about the Black Keys earlier. We
- 27:40Speaker 1: can't let that go and say, you know, but I
- 27:43Speaker 1: was talking about like crick no no no for yeah, yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 1: big crick current like a you know, not to say
- 27:49Speaker 1: I luned because you know, just just how many people
- 27:52Speaker 1: that I was actually advising, just for free just signed.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That's the thing. They all wanted me to sign them.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I just wouldn't. It wasn't like they didn't want to sign.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I was dame dash. I had an art gap my office.
- 28:04Speaker 1: The funny shit was, when I walked out of the
- 28:06Speaker 1: music business and everyone was broke, I had like a
- 28:09Speaker 1: three story building in Tribeca doing the illest, coolest shit.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It was so funny to me. That's why I was like, oh,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I would never expect my impression to celebrate my independence.
- 28:21Speaker 1: So I'm fifty now and they still be fucking with me.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'll be like, wow, I must really be a threat
- 28:27Speaker 1: because I haven't even come outside and they still be like, na, now,
- 28:29Speaker 1: you can't look like you wanted. I don't care what
- 28:31Speaker 1: it looked like, NIGGI. It is what it is. It
- 28:34Speaker 1: can't stop. You know what I'm saying. You know, if
- 28:37Speaker 1: this is what losing looks like, fuck it. You know
- 28:39Speaker 1: what I'm saying, This is what it is. Wait, hold on,
- 28:42Speaker 1: time to stop the interview, because we got to talk
- 28:44Speaker 1: about our good folks at odd Socks. Man, listen, if

- 29:41Speaker 1: you talked earlier about asking just to flip that sample
- 29:44Speaker 1: initially right, and then Kanye ended up doing it. I
- 29:48Speaker 1: just always had like a snapping kind of thing. Shout
- 29:50Speaker 1: out to Just Brother, but I'll be heating them up.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'm just curious, like what you know you were there
- 29:56Speaker 1: during the Blueprint sessions, Like I bought the beats. That's
- 29:59Speaker 1: why I was gonna ask you, Like Kanye Kanye talking
- 30:02Speaker 1: about just kind of cop being a copycat. I don't
- 30:04Speaker 1: get into that shit, but you know, I just know
- 30:07Speaker 1: that both Just Blaze and Kanye came through hip hop
- 30:11Speaker 1: and he bought me both of their beats. The reason
- 30:14Speaker 1: why I like what's going on is because really what
- 30:16Speaker 1: happened with Kanye was the first record song single that
- 30:21Speaker 1: came out on Rockefella with a Kanye beat with the
- 30:23Speaker 1: true Seagulls the Truth. So you know, that was like
- 30:27Speaker 1: the beginning of it all. Then he had all this
- 30:29Speaker 1: beat tape and I just brought it to Jay and
- 30:32Speaker 1: he just had this bank mega shit, you know what
- 30:34Speaker 1: I mean. But it was hip hop that brought those
- 30:37Speaker 1: two and the same exact time. I remember like, as
- 30:41Speaker 1: hip Hop's quiet, so he's not the kind of he's
- 30:43Speaker 1: like you have to like trigger him to know what's
- 30:45Speaker 1: going on with him. And I remember just being like, Yo,
- 30:47Speaker 1: what the fuck? You know what I'm saying? Like it
- 30:50Speaker 1: was like that would rock the mic. Like I was like,
- 30:51Speaker 1: what's the state property records and shit? And I was
- 30:53Speaker 1: like listen, I was like, hol you bucked put this
- 30:55Speaker 1: shit out. I'm a director, put it out. You know,
- 30:58Speaker 1: he's just quiet. He's a genius. They're all geniuses. On
- 31:03Speaker 1: what was you know, what was it like to hear
- 31:06Speaker 1: Hope give you some love? You know during his speech
- 31:09Speaker 1: at the at the Rock and at the Rock and
- 31:10Speaker 1: Roll Hall of Fame induction induction. Obviously it was it
- 31:13Speaker 1: was great for the culture. That's why. That's the way
- 31:16Speaker 1: I looked at it. It It was like, and that's the
- 31:17Speaker 1: way we'll leave it. Good for the culture, always good
- 31:21Speaker 1: for the culture. No beef with no of a black man,
- 31:23Speaker 1: especially in someone I used to hustle with, you know,
- 31:26Speaker 1: So whatever promotes that image, I'm with it. There it
- 31:32Speaker 1: is there, it is man. What you know what's crazy
- 31:36Speaker 1: is like I know you were behind bringing a lot
- 31:39Speaker 1: of people don't remember od B before he passed, Dirt
- 31:42Speaker 1: McGirt was on Rockefeller talk about like Riah picked him
- 31:48Speaker 1: up from jail. I say, talk about that because I
- 31:50Speaker 1: feel like that that's like a part of like the
- 31:53Speaker 1: Rockefeller legacy. We don't hear a lot of because it
- 31:56Speaker 1: kind of was at the tail end of things, like
- 31:57Speaker 1: right like when things started to kind of get interesting.
- 31:59Speaker 1: But like you know how I be he saw cloudy bro.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I forgot about a lot of that shit. So much
- 32:06Speaker 1: good shit is happening in the future, you know, Like
- 32:09Speaker 1: I said, when you're having fun, you don't like hold
- 32:11Speaker 1: on to certain things in the past, and unless you're
- 32:14Speaker 1: like trying to learn from him. And I was talking
- 32:17Speaker 1: about that situation the other day with old Dirty. I
- 32:19Speaker 1: just remember when he died, his family just you know,
- 32:22Speaker 1: I went to his mom's house, all his kids was there,
- 32:25Speaker 1: just theyre just was dancing and they were still happy
- 32:27Speaker 1: through that pain. I learned so much from that, you know,
- 32:31Speaker 1: I think about the good part, what you can learn
- 32:34Speaker 1: from dark. I gotta find the light. But it hurt
- 32:38Speaker 1: me because he died on my watch and I tried
- 32:40Speaker 1: everything I could do. He was the first one I
- 32:42Speaker 1: lost on my watch. Is there something like you know
- 32:49Speaker 1: what's going through something like that and watching kind of
- 32:53Speaker 1: the generation of artists that I feel like we've lost
- 32:56Speaker 1: more artists recently than we've lost in a very long time.
- 33:00Speaker 1: It feels like, you know, we just lost you just
- 33:04Speaker 1: lost golf obviously, King Vaughan last year. I mean, we
- 33:08Speaker 1: could go on and on. So many people are passing,
- 33:10Speaker 1: Like is there any anything you learned from just being
- 33:13Speaker 1: a man in this industry and just being a man
- 33:15Speaker 1: in this world, like like dealing with the loss or
- 33:19Speaker 1: just dealing with Like you're fifty, right, we talk We
- 33:22Speaker 1: talked that it always hurts, bro. Yeah, like I'm saying,
- 33:25Speaker 1: like you're fifty of them. You just don't be surprised,
- 33:27Speaker 1: but it hurts. And when you know a lot of people,
- 33:31Speaker 1: everything that happens affects you. When you love a lot
- 33:34Speaker 1: of people who get a lot of hurt. And I'm
- 33:37Speaker 1: a guy that likes to help people. So everyone like
- 33:39Speaker 1: that I've tried to help or people that I've tried
- 33:42Speaker 1: to help, Not everyone, because I help a lot of people,
- 33:45Speaker 1: but the people that I've helped that if got killed,
- 33:49Speaker 1: it hurts, you know, it hurts. I have to get
- 33:53Speaker 1: therapy every time, and it never doesn't affect me. It's
- 33:57Speaker 1: therapy is something that obviously is that something that you know,
- 34:01Speaker 1: I feel like it's finally kind of starting to become
- 34:03Speaker 1: less sticking it. But yeah, of course I made it cool,
- 34:06Speaker 1: so yeah, I do healing this gangster. You know, our
- 34:10Speaker 1: culture doesn't usually get therapy, so the study of people
- 34:13Speaker 1: doesn't come from black people. It comes from white people.
- 34:16Speaker 1: So when the black person finally does get therapy, he's
- 34:18Speaker 1: getting the medicine at a white person. He's not a
- 34:20Speaker 1: black person. Different kind of trauma. So we need to
- 34:24Speaker 1: find people that speak in our tongue that can actually
- 34:27Speaker 1: help us. But it is cool to have a consillari.
- 34:31Speaker 1: You know, someone this doesn't have a dog in a fight,
- 34:33Speaker 1: that could tell anythings just based selling statistics. It's a
- 34:37Speaker 1: consultant for your life. You know, if you think that's
- 34:40Speaker 1: weak trying to make yourself strong. Then you're just a
- 34:42Speaker 1: fucking clown to me, walking around bleeding, stitching shit up
- 34:47Speaker 1: and not healing it, just gonna continue to bleed, you know.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's dumb. And the thing about being uncomfortable for me,
- 34:56Speaker 1: I don't like being uncomfortable, so I do anything I
- 34:58Speaker 1: cannot to be uncomfort as quickly as possible. So something's
- 35:02Speaker 1: bothering me immediately. I'm trying to figure out any way
- 35:05Speaker 1: I can not to be bothered anymore. But people would
- 35:09Speaker 1: rather be bothered than not deal with it. I just
- 35:11Speaker 1: don't logically get that. Can you give me another drink? Please?
- 35:16Speaker 1: You know, if we can get two of those, that'd
- 35:17Speaker 1: be I'm I'm on the shrooms with you. I don't
- 35:20Speaker 1: have the alcohol though they've hit two. We're chilling right
- 35:24Speaker 1: now now that that's some real ship like like you said, like, uh,
- 35:29Speaker 1: she's like I don't work for you. That's nicely she
- 35:35Speaker 1: doesn't have to, but she might not. Who the fuck
- 35:42Speaker 1: is this guy? Basically don't get too comfort like what
- 35:47Speaker 1: are you now? But what you just said about uh,
- 35:53Speaker 1: why people wouldn't want to become unbothered if they're bothered
- 35:57Speaker 1: by something. It's pride. I think it's I think it's
- 36:01Speaker 1: really pride, man, you know what I'm saying. Like to
- 36:04Speaker 1: think they need to waste the time? Yeah, that's not pride.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Pride is when you fight for something you love. When
- 36:08Speaker 1: you have pride, you deal with your problems because you
- 36:11Speaker 1: have so much pride that you can't look weak. I
- 36:15Speaker 1: have so much pride that if I know that something
- 36:17Speaker 1: is making me look weak and I got to take
- 36:19Speaker 1: care of and be lead by example, I must be
- 36:22Speaker 1: able to say, yo, I'm making them. Fuck I'm a
- 36:24Speaker 1: little weak here. Let me watch me go make myself stronger.
- 36:27Speaker 1: That's why I do public the repy. Nobody's not weak.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You know. Experiences are new. You don't fucking deal with
- 36:33Speaker 1: them for the first time the best, you know, it's
- 36:37Speaker 1: not a weakness to just do something and try to
- 36:39Speaker 1: be better at it, or art detected before it happens.
- 36:42Speaker 1: It's not weakness. And whatever thinks it you need there,
- 36:46Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. If you don't get it,
- 36:47Speaker 1: you know, it's called a social disorder. If you don't
- 36:49Speaker 1: have accountability for your problems will never be fixed. Hmm.
- 36:54Speaker 1: That's some real shit. That is some real shit with
- 36:58Speaker 1: the Dame Dash Studios and you know, producing so much
- 37:01Speaker 1: content again, like we can go back to do a
- 37:06Speaker 1: TV show. Of course, cool deal. But that's how easy
- 37:13Speaker 1: it is when you're a boss. I think of like
- 37:15Speaker 1: no contracts. When you want to shoot. There it is,
- 37:18Speaker 1: you know, the question is when you want to shoot? Uh?
- 37:21Speaker 1: I mean, let's talk with soon you're talking's what's the
- 37:24Speaker 1: TV show? It's your show, bro, I'd have to really think.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I would want the show to be really good, you know,
- 37:30Speaker 1: like he put out a show that's not really No.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I know that's what I'm saying, Like I really got
- 37:34Speaker 1: to think about it. I think about it. This was
- 37:36Speaker 1: what I call an experiment. What I just did was say,
- 37:39Speaker 1: let's do a show when you thought about the reasons
- 37:41Speaker 1: why it might not work. No, I didn't. I just said,
- 37:44Speaker 1: you said, what do I want to do? I mean,
- 37:46Speaker 1: you doubt it? Those questions don't come into my mind.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Your automatic thing is it gotta be good. Of course
- 37:52Speaker 1: it's going to be good. That's like getting in bed
- 37:54Speaker 1: with a girl and doubting that you're gonna have good sex.
- 37:57Speaker 1: This is true. I don't be like, oh I gotta
- 37:59Speaker 1: be good. I get it. It's gonna be good. It's
- 38:02Speaker 1: gonna be good, So then why would you say that first?
- 38:05Speaker 1: So that's what I was explaining, and I was truthful.
- 38:08Speaker 1: We're doing to do a deal, but why do people
- 38:11Speaker 1: automatically think like that? Even good people that are doing
- 38:14Speaker 1: it right, it's still hard not to think about that first,
- 38:17Speaker 1: and like, what could go wrong? You think about that first?
- 38:20Speaker 1: Supposed to go wrong? I'm a fucking don right, I'm
- 38:23Speaker 1: just gonna fight. I'm with it. But I was gonna say, like, uh,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I mean, talk about the what was the first movie
- 38:35Speaker 1: that you produced? I forgot, but it's been so many
- 38:38Speaker 1: obviously this is paying ful, paid in full. But actually
- 38:42Speaker 1: I did? I think I feel like I did streets Watch?
- 38:44Speaker 1: What was it? Wasn't there one? What was the comedy
- 38:48Speaker 1: Paper Planes? Paper Soldiers? That's when I discovered Kevin Hart.
- 38:51Speaker 1: That Kevin Hart. I was gonna say, Vin Hart was
- 38:53Speaker 1: in Paper Soldiers, right, which is crazy, right, because that
- 38:56Speaker 1: was before Soul Plane. That was like Nigga. I took
- 38:59Speaker 1: him off age and put him in his first two
- 39:01Speaker 1: three movies. What was it? Like? I'm used to making
- 39:06Speaker 1: people famous, bro, I mean, this is favorite surprise. I
- 39:10Speaker 1: was gonna say that I look at is how people
- 39:11Speaker 1: act after. That's really what I like to look at.
- 39:14Speaker 1: That's my If you notice I like to experiment life
- 39:18Speaker 1: is I'm having so much fun in life that I
- 39:19Speaker 1: could fucking play games and you know it's like surfing
- 39:23Speaker 1: to me now, thank you? Yeah literally, I was like, okay,
- 39:27Speaker 1: let me see if I could do this with my
- 39:29Speaker 1: with my arm time on my back, then that's how
- 39:31Speaker 1: I thank you. With the whole world watching. You know,
- 39:34Speaker 1: the difference between me and everyone else is, I'm so
- 39:37Speaker 1: confident about my fight that I tell a lot you
- 39:42Speaker 1: live just because I know I'm with There's no there's
- 39:46Speaker 1: no doubt. I was gonna say, like with the with
- 39:48Speaker 1: the content space evolving always right, let me let me
- 39:53Speaker 1: explain to you what I do. Yeah, please, everything that's
- 39:57Speaker 1: happening now, I was talking about a ten years ago.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I created the weapons that everyone's trying to use against me.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's why I created the weapons so when they try
- 40:08Speaker 1: to fight me, I'm the one that fucking advantages can't
- 40:11Speaker 1: beat me. Now. I started everything y'all doing too funny
- 40:15Speaker 1: to me? That was also an experiment, are you you know?
- 40:23Speaker 1: With the n f T ship the metaverse is so much.
- 40:25Speaker 1: You know what it is. What your world means digitally
- 40:27Speaker 1: is going to mean more than what your world means
- 40:31Speaker 1: in the physical. So think about what if you show
- 40:34Speaker 1: up to a fucking fashion show in the fucking uh
- 40:42Speaker 1: you know, in the digital what do you call that?
- 40:43Speaker 1: When you become at him? No? Uh, what you call it?
- 40:47Speaker 1: What do you call those? No? No, a fucking uh runway? No, anyway,
- 40:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying is when you come in as a
- 40:54Speaker 1: you know, when they turn you into a I know
- 40:56Speaker 1: the name, when it's a little drunk, But when they
- 40:58Speaker 1: turn you into an advertar vatar avatar when you're an
- 41:01Speaker 1: avatar number one, what you're wearing as an avatar is
- 41:06Speaker 1: going to be judged. Your sneakers, your clothes, your car,
- 41:10Speaker 1: where you live, digitally, everything that you have digitally is
- 41:14Speaker 1: gonna mean just as much. It's inevitable. But at the
- 41:18Speaker 1: same time, it's happening. Bro, No, it's happening, So there's
- 41:21Speaker 1: no there's no point in like fighting it. But at
- 41:24Speaker 1: the same time, do you think, what's freedom? Do you do?
- 41:27Speaker 1: You think it's a good thing? Though, every opportunity to
- 41:29Speaker 1: get more money is a good thing. It's a great thing.
- 41:32Speaker 1: If it doesn't hurt anybody. Do you think do you
- 41:35Speaker 1: think it's a good platform for artists NFTs and for
- 41:37Speaker 1: sure change and the way to track it all that
- 41:40Speaker 1: ship is great. The way you resell it beautiful. It's
- 41:43Speaker 1: a beautiful thing. I feel like we're making up your
- 41:45Speaker 1: own money. Think saying the dollar means ship because it
- 41:49Speaker 1: does no goal to back it, and people call it
- 41:52Speaker 1: on they keep printing money. It's like us there used
- 41:56Speaker 1: to be the gold stand everybody make. You could make
- 41:58Speaker 1: your own coin and put an evaluation on it, but
- 42:01Speaker 1: you just have to pee people buy into it. No,
- 42:03Speaker 1: it's it's crazy, man. You know, I could create a
- 42:07Speaker 1: coin in the physical. You can't get into the spot
- 42:09Speaker 1: unless you have it, you know. Yeah, No, it's it's
- 42:13Speaker 1: it's it's definitely. Ah. I feel like we're gonna end
- 42:17Speaker 1: up like ready Player one. You saw ready Player one
- 42:18Speaker 1: in the movie, the Steven Spielberg movie. It was a
- 42:21Speaker 1: few years ago. Steven Spielberg made e t right. Yes,
- 42:25Speaker 1: so yeah, you better watch what he fucking makes. It's crazy, though,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I just don't know if it's a good thing. If
- 42:30Speaker 1: we're all gonna be like that's fear everything is a
- 42:33Speaker 1: good thing. People. It's just no such stuff. Ain't going outside.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You're gonna go outside in the in the metamy, bro
- 42:41Speaker 1: listen to me. In this world, in this universe, in
- 42:44Speaker 1: its existence and any vibration, there's a young and a yang.
- 42:46Speaker 1: There's just as much negative as positive. It's just how
- 42:49Speaker 1: you perceive it. Everything has a negative. There's a negative
- 42:53Speaker 1: in everything. There's a positive of it and everything. It's
- 42:56Speaker 1: just some people focus only on the negative. That's called fear.
- 43:01Speaker 1: We're leading with it. That's fair, it's the truth. If
- 43:06Speaker 1: you lead with negative, then your fuck you lost. Everything
- 43:11Speaker 1: is positive, even and something bad happens, it must have
- 43:14Speaker 1: happened for a reason, a good reason. It just for
- 43:17Speaker 1: me to find it. I'm not about how you approach.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Why would I pay attention to the negative of the fear.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I can't control none of that ship all I can control.
- 43:25Speaker 1: It's just like being worried about who's the fucking president.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I don't care who's the president. I'm getting money. We're
- 43:29Speaker 1: all getting money. Yeah, I tell you, metaverse universe. Whatever,
- 43:33Speaker 1: I'm still gonna do what I'm gonna do. But I
- 43:34Speaker 1: don't care. Yeah, that's real. So why I fear that?
- 43:38Speaker 1: If it's coming, Why fear it, embrace it? Monetite. Oh god,
- 43:41Speaker 1: that was crazy, big big part alerts, big part alerts. Hey, somebody,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about who I feel
- 43:59Speaker 1: like as someone else who I just feel like doesn't
- 44:02Speaker 1: get enough flowers. As far as being one of the
- 44:04Speaker 1: grays of all time? Is Beanie Man? Like we talked
- 44:07Speaker 1: about The Truth earlier, I think Beanie Siegel was like
- 44:09Speaker 1: first four albums or just I mean, man, beans is
- 44:13Speaker 1: you know obviously, like I said, I don't think he's
- 44:16Speaker 1: appreciated enough as an all time great in this rap game.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Like what was it like early Beanie Siegel prior to
- 44:25Speaker 1: The Truth dropping days? Like, there's a lot of going
- 44:30Speaker 1: to court, so I called them state property. He was
- 44:34Speaker 1: always had cases. Man, it's challenging, you know, and you
- 44:38Speaker 1: love people that are in challenging situations. You know, you
- 44:41Speaker 1: still have to be there for regardless of whether it
- 44:42Speaker 1: makes you uncomfortable or not. There's a lot of things
- 44:45Speaker 1: that were going on that made me uncomfortable, but I
- 44:47Speaker 1: still dealt with it. You know, you don't leave. You
- 44:50Speaker 1: don't leave the street to go back to the street,
- 44:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So it was just like
- 44:54Speaker 1: it was my responsibility. I signed on to that and
- 44:58Speaker 1: I dealt with it, and I pretend to everybody that
- 45:00Speaker 1: was with me. But everyone that is with me is
- 45:02Speaker 1: legendary to me, So you know that's fair. It's not
- 45:06Speaker 1: about being appreciated. It's like a matter of when. It
- 45:09Speaker 1: might not be his time to be appreciated, but he
- 45:10Speaker 1: will at some point. You're fifty years old, You've you've
- 45:15Speaker 1: lived an amazing life. What would be one or two
- 45:21Speaker 1: lessons that you would just want everyone to hear like
- 45:24Speaker 1: that you had to that you lived for them, like essentially,
- 45:27Speaker 1: kind of give me, give me, you know. We talked
- 45:29Speaker 1: about health, We talked about fear, we talked about you
- 45:32Speaker 1: know what what what? What are the life lessons that
- 45:34Speaker 1: you feel like you can offer the world that that
- 45:36Speaker 1: that you live for them. You know what I'm saying,
- 45:38Speaker 1: at this point in your life, worship women. That's that'll
- 45:43Speaker 1: get your that's the best. That's the best advice. The
- 45:46Speaker 1: creative of life should be worshiped. That's God right as women.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I think that women should be looked at like their gods.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I don't know why dudes want to be around dudes
- 45:59Speaker 1: all day. I don't get that. But women create life.
- 46:06Speaker 1: They nurture, you know. They don't leave with muscle, They
- 46:11Speaker 1: leave with emotion and brain. They have no choice. They
- 46:14Speaker 1: make They have estrogen while we make testosterone. While be
- 46:18Speaker 1: around a bunch of testosterone. And you got enough? I
- 46:22Speaker 1: got enough nuts polls for me. I don't need any
- 46:25Speaker 1: other nuts around me. Pause, you know what I mean?
- 46:28Speaker 1: That makes sense to me, It's logical. I don't get it,
- 46:31Speaker 1: be like, why the fun would anybody want to roll
- 46:33Speaker 1: with ten niggas that they can roll with ten beautiful?
- 46:36Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about aesthetically, I'm just talking about
- 46:39Speaker 1: you know, yeah, women are just fucking dope. I love women, man,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I don't understand. I'm like obsessed. I love women, Uh
- 46:49Speaker 1: the last thing, man, because I know you gotta you
- 46:52Speaker 1: gotta get get get to what you gotta do tonight.
- 46:54Speaker 1: But you don't deserve a good woman unless you're a
- 46:59Speaker 1: good man. You don't deserve a queen unless you're a king,
- 47:03Speaker 1: you know what I mean. You can't just be like,
- 47:05Speaker 1: Oh'm gonna get a bad chick and you're a bum
- 47:07Speaker 1: ass niggat. If you're going Dutch, you're a bum ass nigga.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, say it one more time. If you're going Dutch,
- 47:13Speaker 1: to me, you're a bum ass nigger. If you're letting
- 47:16Speaker 1: your girl pay for anything, a girl you really care for.
- 47:19Speaker 1: A gentleman just doesn't do that, you know what I mean?
- 47:23Speaker 1: I don't care so essentially, because our job is to
- 47:28Speaker 1: make it where a woman can do whatever she wants.
- 47:32Speaker 1: She could raise a child without any stress, support it,
- 47:38Speaker 1: to create life. What else would a man want to
- 47:42Speaker 1: do but make that environment for any woman that they
- 47:45Speaker 1: are care for. If you're not a man that makes
- 47:48Speaker 1: your woman's dream come true, then you're not her man.
- 47:51Speaker 1: The person that makes your woman's dreams comes true, that's
- 47:54Speaker 1: going to be her man. And I'm the dream maker.
- 48:03Speaker 1: A bar a bar. Of course people can support man.
- 48:11Speaker 1: You know obviously, Dame Dash Studios, you got the clothing.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I know you just had the Black Friday sale. Well
- 48:16Speaker 1: you know I'm launching a high end designer line. You
- 48:21Speaker 1: see those pictures on the wall, Oh I see them. Yeah,
- 48:24Speaker 1: I made that and I'm gonna launch it. I'm launching
- 48:27Speaker 1: my clothing lines with a movie. So all that you
- 48:30Speaker 1: see is the clothing, the storyline. I see the storyboards. Yeah,
- 48:33Speaker 1: it's gonna be a movie. And then it's gonna be closed.
- 48:36Speaker 1: And that's how you're gonn launch the clothing line. Yeah,
- 48:38Speaker 1: how else? Obviously you've already done it once with Rockaway
- 48:44Speaker 1: right and state property and state property and people forget
- 48:49Speaker 1: shout out to state property. I remember being in junior
- 48:52Speaker 1: high and going to Burlington co Factory and copping that
- 48:54Speaker 1: state property ship. For real, you just copping and half
- 48:57Speaker 1: price at Burlington. I definitely well, you know, I was poor,
- 49:01Speaker 1: so we were at Ross and Burlington. That was plaining
- 49:03Speaker 1: to me. I just was telling you, yo, Now, I'm
- 49:06Speaker 1: I was cured. It's okay, It's okay. Why how do
- 49:09Speaker 1: close end up at Burlington? Code fact? That's the whole model, bro,
- 49:13Speaker 1: that's the whole model. Just half price? Well, all right,
- 49:17Speaker 1: let me break it down. I was breaking it down
- 49:18Speaker 1: to Devin the other day. So Ralph Lauren, right, he
- 49:25Speaker 1: creates a lifestyle and with all that other shit he
- 49:28Speaker 1: does purple label blah bla blah. I don't making no
- 49:29Speaker 1: money from that. I'm sorry, I'm sor. I didn't hear
- 49:31Speaker 1: what you said, Ralph Lauren. Ralph, Okay, his real name
- 49:33Speaker 1: is Ralph flip Shits. Should that Colin rah flip Shits calm,
- 49:36Speaker 1: Ralph flip shits. So Ralph flip shits this slip shits guy. Right,
- 49:42Speaker 1: So what he does is he creates this lifestyle. Right,
- 49:45Speaker 1: And because he creates a lifestyle, the polo shirt costs
- 49:49Speaker 1: five dollars to make, but the logo, just because that
- 49:52Speaker 1: logo is on it, he could charge one hundred dollars.
- 49:55Speaker 1: J C. Pennies or any other brand that have to
- 49:57Speaker 1: charge fifteen dollars. Right. That means wholesalers has seven dollars
- 50:02Speaker 1: retail us at fifteen half price. It set seven dollars, right,
- 50:08Speaker 1: He puts it on there for one hundred dollars at
- 50:11Speaker 1: half price is fifty dollars, and you think you're getting
- 50:14Speaker 1: a deal. But he's still up, and he's still up
- 50:17Speaker 1: on the margins. So he makes all his money at
- 50:19Speaker 1: the outlets and at the off price. The problem with
- 50:22Speaker 1: that business is you have to do like one hundred
- 50:25Speaker 1: million and make three million, So you have to have
- 50:26Speaker 1: like four or five companies that you're just pimping out
- 50:29Speaker 1: that make three million a piece. So at Rachel roy
- 50:31Speaker 1: I was making three million dollars a year from being
- 50:34Speaker 1: one hundred million dollar company and fucking Macy's. The Margins
- 50:38Speaker 1: was duty you know. So that's called the schmat the business.
- 50:44Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean obviously, uh, it's all off price
- 50:49Speaker 1: to be in like a regular store. Is just marketing
- 50:52Speaker 1: so that you could sell it at Burlington and all
- 50:54Speaker 1: those off prices. That's the whole game there, it is.
- 50:57Speaker 1: That makes sense. If you could follow me, then this
- 51:00Speaker 1: jewel I just dropped, you could wear it or I
- 51:02Speaker 1: could take it back, put it on the shine, you
- 51:03Speaker 1: know what I mean? But I do there it is
- 51:06Speaker 1: so look so you're you're seeing the clothing line. Is
- 51:09Speaker 1: there gonna be? When is that gonna launch? When the
- 51:11Speaker 1: movie comes out? Right? Like March travel, I'm gonna try
- 51:15Speaker 1: to catch a fast next fashion week or whatever. I
- 51:18Speaker 1: don't know. I'm not on the schedule, you know. I
- 51:20Speaker 1: don't know what day it is, all what time it is.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I'm just fucking having fun, just having fun. Man. Yeah,
- 51:27Speaker 1: that's how we live. Well, we rock stars. I love it.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Many thinking about a rock star is there's no fear
- 51:32Speaker 1: with it. You just don't give a fuck. And it's
- 51:35Speaker 1: crazy when I see people that project this rockstar image
- 51:38Speaker 1: and then they're just scared all day and not scared
- 51:41Speaker 1: about violence, but scared about what people think. The minute
- 51:44Speaker 1: you're worried about what people think, you've lost your rock,
- 51:46Speaker 1: your rock star. Don't ever lose your rock star. Bro,
- 51:51Speaker 1: don't give a fuck, go like this. Just don't give
- 51:55Speaker 1: a fuck. Repellent. I spray it on every day. You
- 51:58Speaker 1: spray it. You should. You should bottle that up and
- 51:59Speaker 1: sell it, dame. No one would buy it. I'd buy it.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I know a lot of people that buy that ship.
- 52:05Speaker 1: To be honest, there it is no for you were
- 52:09Speaker 1: out here. Now you're not scared and not thing. You
- 52:11Speaker 1: don't care about what nobody thinks. There it is stop.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you. I don't know if you're
- 52:19Speaker 1: comfortable talking about it on camera, but obviously uh also
- 52:25Speaker 1: freshness contagious too. Now you're gonna be fresh and give
- 52:28Speaker 1: him a CEO package. He wanted the cop Get that
- 52:31Speaker 1: man right. I need the shorts, that's what I want
- 52:33Speaker 1: to buy a pair of shorts. I would get into him,
- 52:34Speaker 1: but he wants to support that. I'm not going to
- 52:37Speaker 1: stop him from doing a pair of those shorts. Shorts
- 52:41Speaker 1: are fire, but I would give him to for free.
- 52:44Speaker 1: But I respect no. I would like to support man.
- 52:46Speaker 1: We got to support man. Come on man nu Yo earlier.
- 52:52Speaker 1: We we had some some chocolates, some magic chocolates earlier.
- 52:56Speaker 1: I don't know if can we talk about those on
- 52:57Speaker 1: the podcast. I just wanted to know, like I prefer
- 52:59Speaker 1: not to till it's legal. Fair enough, all right, we'll leave,
- 53:02Speaker 1: We'll leave that conversation where where it where where it is.
- 53:06Speaker 1: But we are booming, and uh, psychedelics are the future,
- 53:11Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. I would just like to point that out.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And the present and the present literally the present for
- 53:17Speaker 1: both of us at the moment, you know, enjoy the president.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Do you ever like I think you know what I'm
- 53:24Speaker 1: I'm really thinking about doing Dame Is. I'm thinking about
- 53:27Speaker 1: going to Costa Rican doing the EYEWASHCA ship. Have you
- 53:30Speaker 1: heard of that? I mean, I'm I just don't want
- 53:32Speaker 1: no dude watching me while I'm too fucking throwing up
- 53:35Speaker 1: and ship. Yeah, like you might throw up, you might
- 53:38Speaker 1: ship yourself. And then there's just some random I'm not
- 53:40Speaker 1: doing nothing. There's just some random shaman that you're just
- 53:43Speaker 1: supposed to trust. Right, You're the most vulnerable moment in
- 53:46Speaker 1: your life, and there's there's something. Yeah, I'm not doing it.
- 53:51Speaker 1: That's the reason because girls like you should do it.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I'd be like, I ain't. Let no niggas see me
- 53:54Speaker 1: high and all crying and ship. Yeah, if I ship
- 53:56Speaker 1: my pants in the middle of the jungle, I don't
- 53:58Speaker 1: look like something you want to. I just want to
- 54:01Speaker 1: see you, girl. Girls want to see you at that moment.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I think. I just don't. I just don't think my
- 54:06Speaker 1: brain is crazy because when I do things like that,
- 54:10Speaker 1: my challenge to me, the fun part of it is
- 54:12Speaker 1: acting normal. So most people never know when I'm high.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I'm high all the time. Did you invent pause? Yes?
- 54:22Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a mite, know this,
- 54:25Speaker 1: I am the inventor. You were the inventor of pause.
- 54:27Speaker 1: My crew to best out, we invented pause for sure.
- 54:31Speaker 1: There's nobody could ever ever say that. I didn't not.
- 54:33Speaker 1: That's all of us that came from my block period.
- 54:37Speaker 1: My crew, best out. What year was this? How far
- 54:40Speaker 1: are we going back? Remember you? When did the were
- 54:42Speaker 1: we going to? Like eighties? Obviously the eighties, early nineties? Yeah, no, nigga,
- 54:50Speaker 1: no bugging. That's when you found out about it. It
- 54:54Speaker 1: was a secret society of No one knew about pause
- 54:57Speaker 1: for like twenty years. Bro and then all us sudden,
- 55:00Speaker 1: I was like, oh, shammy kids saying that. I'd be like,
- 55:02Speaker 1: you know, I invented that, baby, right, they tell me
- 55:04Speaker 1: the rules. I'd be like, if my son hits me
- 55:06Speaker 1: with the pause at least once a week. Yeah, And
- 55:09Speaker 1: also I invented I made up the term fresh to death.
- 55:12Speaker 1: I go say that. Listen pop tags. I made that
- 55:15Speaker 1: one up. Okay, I'm the one that named hovah. I
- 55:19Speaker 1: made that up. I made that up. What was the
- 55:23Speaker 1: inspiration for the Jovah jehovah? Yeah? You know? But but
- 55:27Speaker 1: but pause, We're gonna get back to the pause because
- 55:29Speaker 1: this is more of the morning. Can't canceled out here, bro.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I understand that it's probably not the most uh you
- 55:34Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It's not meant to be offensive.
- 55:36Speaker 1: It's always been a personal joke with my friends and
- 55:39Speaker 1: down the whole world does it. It's like, fuck, I
- 55:41Speaker 1: can't even have a fucking personal joke. You know. Everyone's
- 55:44Speaker 1: people would ask me. I'd be like, I would never
- 55:46Speaker 1: tell them what it meant. Ever, I'd be like, you
- 55:48Speaker 1: have to figure it out, but no one knew what
- 55:50Speaker 1: it meant because you say what it means if you
- 55:51Speaker 1: think about this just show a fucking clip of me
- 55:55Speaker 1: in the history of any part of the world at
- 55:58Speaker 1: any time that I didn't say pause? Were you saying pause? Bro?
- 56:03Speaker 1: Don't understand and all of them. It don't matter how
- 56:07Speaker 1: much money you got, It don't matter what you're doing.
- 56:10Speaker 1: If you slip. Niggas are laughing hard if I do
- 56:16Speaker 1: some dumb shit. It's like Instagram. They just I'm because
- 56:20Speaker 1: I'm so like, you know, yeah, so you catch me slipping,
- 56:24Speaker 1: it's a celebration. Like I don't even think I lost
- 56:28Speaker 1: a snap fight in like one hundred years, you know
- 56:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Can you remember one of the more
- 56:32Speaker 1: funniest like moments in pause history? Yeah? The one, but
- 56:37Speaker 1: you just know that was one of the funniest ones
- 56:39Speaker 1: because I feel like you have like a rap like
- 56:41Speaker 1: maybe you're hanging out with bun being pimps. They don't
- 56:45Speaker 1: know what it means. He killed it, you got it,
- 56:47Speaker 1: you won? You wan like you even like somebody say, yo,
- 56:51Speaker 1: what's up? I'm gonna say, the time is the pms pause?
- 56:55Speaker 1: You got you? You know you? You you okay? Now
- 56:59Speaker 1: when pimp, when pimps see I wouldn't even correct him.
- 57:01Speaker 1: He was like a g I know what I'm saying.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I would just listen to him, but he never would
- 57:04Speaker 1: do no ship like that. I probably would say pause though,
- 57:06Speaker 1: But the one time I got to really hang out
- 57:08Speaker 1: with him was that big pimping and we hung out,
- 57:10Speaker 1: me and him, and I feel like there's a song
- 57:12Speaker 1: called coming Out Hard. That was just a pausible song
- 57:16Speaker 1: title in general. Right, the whole conversation is a pause,
- 57:19Speaker 1: So let's go to another one. You know what I'm saying.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I feel like that's the name of the ugksm coming
- 57:27Speaker 1: Out Hard. I think they could pause. Right, I'm out

- 58:38Speaker 1: up for a while. But that what. That's okay to worry.
- 58:41Speaker 1: But I'd like to think I've been saying pause a
- 58:44Speaker 1: long time that you said that. That was the one
- 58:47Speaker 1: time you should have said it. If you've been playing
- 58:50Speaker 1: it for twenty years, you should have not. I said,

- 1:00:44Speaker 1: just showed the news clip from and that really happened,
