Knife Incident at Wawa in Fairfax | Washington DC News
At 12:07 AM Saturday, a tense standoff erupted at a Wawa on Fairfax Boulevard when a knife-wielding suspect confronted police. Officers demanded the weapon be dropped, but the individual exited the store armed — prompting an officer to fire, critically injuring the suspect. No one else was harmed. The officer involved is on administrative leave as investigators from Northern Virginia’s Critical Incident Response Team probe the incident.
