- 0:04Speaker 1: No minors, mature audiences only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: This is really exciting, guys.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Really?
- 0:10Speaker 2: I've been listening since the beginning.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Really?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:13Speaker 4: Oh, you heard the Bob episodes and everything.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I love the Bob episodes.
- 0:16Speaker 4: And we had a witch on.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You did?
- 0:18Speaker 4: We had a psychic.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I text Joel.
- 0:20Speaker 1: They're coming back.
- 0:21Speaker 5: I text Joel all the time. Like, how did you
- 0:22Speaker 5: not know that stuff? And he probably doesn't even remember
- 0:25Speaker 5: that part of the podcast.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't remember.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm suffering from short-term memory loss.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Gee, I wonder why.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 0:33Speaker 4: I'm not a doctor.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You don't suffer from short-term memory loss? I absolutely do. Yeah.
- 0:38Speaker 1: There's ways to fix that.
- 0:39Speaker 4: And then I catch it, though. And then I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 0:41Speaker 4: it's just a little bit later. See, I wish I
- 0:43Speaker 4: could say I catch it.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I don't catch it. Yeah. That's a problem.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You know what I was thinking about today? I'm glad
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm not a dog. You know why? Why? Because dogs
- 0:53Speaker 1: eat the same freaking thing every day. Twice a day.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I'm good like that, actually. I don't mind it.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Are you, though?
- 0:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I can have a Caesar salad for lunch every
- 1:00Speaker 4: single day for the rest of my life.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Really? Yeah, but could you have a Caesar salad for lunch, dinner,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and breakfast every single day for the rest of your life?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Same thing. That's what dogs do, and cats, too. Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 4: but they can't speak up. They're not like, Joel, I
- 1:13Speaker 4: don't like this food. You got to buy different shit.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I mean, cats are picky.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Cats are picky, yeah. Bowie, when I had Bowie, he, like,
- 1:23Speaker 1: was a weird cat that never ate wet food. It
- 1:25Speaker 1: was always dry food all the time.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Stella only eats dry food.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's kind of better. You know what? Cat food, wet cat.
- 1:31Speaker 1: That's gross, man. That's gross, isn't it?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Have you ever tasted it?
- 1:35Speaker 4: No, I've never tasted it. No, that should be the
- 1:37Speaker 4: next munchie minute. Maybe she said she was bringing snacks.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 2: How do you know it's not wet cat food?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Oh my God. Oh, it's like wet fucked up tuna,
- 1:49Speaker 1: you know? That's how I think of cat food.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Sounds so appetizing.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Don't you think? I don't know. I was glad that
- 1:54Speaker 1: I never had to deal with the wet food with
- 1:56Speaker 1: my cat. Yeah. But now, you know, I think my
- 2:00Speaker 1: dog does protest that I feed her the same thing
- 2:02Speaker 1: twice a day. Yeah, why? Well, because she never actually
- 2:05Speaker 1: eats it when I put it out. She goes up
- 2:07Speaker 1: to it, sniffs it, and then walks away. And then
- 2:09Speaker 1: like two hours later, she'll come back and be like, well, fuck,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I guess I'll eat now.
- 2:13Speaker 4: He didn't bring something different. I guess I'll eat this.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I guess I'll eat it now.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Maybe you should try that bougie dog food.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. I thought about that.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Was it Fresh Pat?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Go Google it. Ka-ching, ka-ching. It's too much.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But if they sponsor the.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Podcast, maybe you could get some extra stuff.
- 2:26Speaker 4: You could get it for free.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but if they sponsor the podcast, then it's wonderful.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 1: And use our promo code and shop here and.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I'm seeing opportunities.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Fresh pet is so good. I don't even have an
- 2:36Speaker 4: animal and I buy it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And you could eat it. You yourself could eat it.
- 2:41Speaker 1: There's also, yeah. No, there's also the ads that I've
- 2:44Speaker 1: seen for the farmer's dog. That shit is so expensive though.
- 2:48Speaker 4: It sounds like it would be.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's very bougie too.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. Well, I was, I brought this up
- 2:53Speaker 1: a couple of days ago to a few friends and
- 2:55Speaker 1: they're like, oh, well you could always buy a rotisserie
- 2:58Speaker 1: chicken and boil rice for your dog. It's like that could.
- 3:03Speaker 1: But you're not gonna. Well, that's not what you do
- 3:05Speaker 1: with dogs.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Or you'd have the chicken for yourself.
- 3:06Speaker 5: You have a former coworker who does that every day
- 3:10Speaker 5: for her dog. Lisa makes it every day because her
- 3:12Speaker 5: dog has some kind of issue.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I still don't think Joel would do that if his
- 3:17Speaker 4: dog had an issue. I mean, he's got plenty of issues.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Now I'm counting my blessings that my dog doesn't have
- 3:23Speaker 4: that issue.
- 3:23Speaker 1: That's a pain. Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yeah. But how good is rotisserie chicken?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Is it though? I'll tell you.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I love it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I bought a rotisserie chicken like a month ago because
- 3:33Speaker 1: it's supposed to be really good for you to be
- 3:35Speaker 1: able to throw chicken in whatever.
- 3:37Speaker 2: The store-bought rotisserie chicken is good for you?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's supposed to be good for you? Yeah, it's
- 3:41Speaker 4: just a little high in sodium.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But like protein-wise.
- 3:45Speaker 4: But it's like four meals worth of chicken if you
- 3:47Speaker 4: really think about it.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Is it though? The one that I bought, I thought,
- 3:50Speaker 1: my God, I just paid all this money to have
- 3:53Speaker 1: a big pile of bones. There's hardly any meat in it.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Which ones are you getting, dude? I love those rotisserie chickens.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Do you? Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Wegmans doing a great job. Wegmans rotisserie chickens.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Man. There's too much. It's too much work. I don't
- 4:06Speaker 1: want to deal with the bones and shit. I don't.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I don't.
- 4:10Speaker 4: They're usually like fall off the bone.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Are they though? Yeah. I must be getting the wrong ones.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Where do you shop?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Normally Giant.
- 4:17Speaker 4: That was like a gas station. Where are you getting
- 4:19Speaker 4: your rotisserie chicken?
- 4:20Speaker 1: No, normally Giant.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I'm questioning your choices now.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Honestly, Giant does not have the best meat.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Well, they're definitely not sponsoring your podcast.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not sponsoring. You know what, though? They do
- 4:30Speaker 1: spend a lot of money on advertising. Giant, you could
- 4:32Speaker 1: sponsor us. Just get better meat. Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 4: And if you think you have better meat, we'd love
- 4:37Speaker 4: to talk to you as well. Maybe there's a difference.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The problem with Giant's meat... I'll tell you the problem
- 4:41Speaker 1: with Giant's meat.
- 4:42Speaker 3: What?
- 4:42Speaker 1: A couple years ago, they used to have like... Way back,
- 4:45Speaker 1: they used to have separate like, okay, here's the seafood wing.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And here's the meat wing. And then they got rid
- 4:52Speaker 1: of that and they combined them. So now when you
- 4:54Speaker 1: go to shop for the beef, it's like sitting next
- 4:56Speaker 1: to some freaking weird ass fish that was just swimming around,
- 4:59Speaker 1: you know?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That's the problem.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Like the selection is just not great. Then you're going
- 5:02Speaker 4: to have fishy meat. Nobody likes that. Who wants fishy meat?
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Anyway. Anyway.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Speaking of what I say, rotisserie from a gas station.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I went to a gas station the other day. I've
- 5:14Speaker 4: been to before one time. on my way home from Washington, D.C.
- 5:17Speaker 4: It's called Rudders.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 4: It's not even that far away now.
- 5:20Speaker 2: It's popular in like the Harrisburg.
- 5:23Speaker 4: And they're coming like to the Lehigh Valley area. And
- 5:25Speaker 4: I was on my way back and I went, they have,
- 5:28Speaker 4: that's one of the most impressive convenience store chains I've
- 5:31Speaker 4: been in. Oh my goodness. It's huge in there. It's
- 5:33Speaker 4: almost the size of a giant.
- 5:35Speaker 1: The consumer, the consumer convenience store war is like at
- 5:40Speaker 1: an all time high.
- 5:41Speaker 2: We need a Bucky's. Let's just be real.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I've never had Bucky's. I will say though, I will say,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I had a Sheetz burger for the first time last week.
- 5:49Speaker 4: See, they revamped them. They used to be.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I might have to start saying that
- 5:53Speaker 1: Sheetz might be better than Wawa.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Wow.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Wow. I can't tell you the last time that I
- 5:59Speaker 1: went to Wawa and ordered food and thought to myself, wow,
- 6:02Speaker 1: that was really good. You know, like you just go
- 6:05Speaker 1: to Wawa and you accept it. Okay, well, it's going
- 6:07Speaker 1: to be a little shaky, but hey, it's Wawa. It's
- 6:09Speaker 1: quick and easy. It's a local favorite.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I get it. But here's the thing. Their sandwich, if
- 6:13Speaker 4: you go to like a Sheetz and you're looking for
- 6:16Speaker 4: like a hoagie, they don't really have good stuff like that,
- 6:18Speaker 4: but they have an entire menu of fried foods, which
- 6:21Speaker 4: people love.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 6:22Speaker 4: You can get mac and cheese bites anytime you want.
- 6:25Speaker 4: You could.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:27Speaker 4: What do you like there that Wawa doesn't do as well?
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't think the hoagies are that good anymore. Just
- 6:32Speaker 1: like the menu. The menu's a lot different. Here's the
- 6:35Speaker 1: other thing. I think that I group like Wawa and
- 6:38Speaker 1: like a Dunkin' Donuts in the same category in regards
- 6:42Speaker 1: to it's inconsistent. Like Starbucks on one hand, when you
- 6:46Speaker 1: go and order Starbucks, it's the same. You order what
- 6:49Speaker 1: you order and you get the same thing every time.
- 6:51Speaker 1: When you order the same thing at Dunkin', You get
- 6:54Speaker 1: it 15 different ways. True. And I think Wawa is
- 6:57Speaker 1: the same way. It's just very inconsistent. Sometimes you get
- 7:00Speaker 1: it and it's good. Sometimes you get it and it's awful.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I would agree with that. We had bad Wawa over
- 7:04Speaker 2: the weekend.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't local here. It was Berks County.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Isolated incident. I'm sure Wawa can still sponsor this podcast.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Don't worry about it, Wawa.
- 7:13Speaker 4: We still like you. And Sheetz.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And Rutters.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Dude, Rutters had tacos. They had all kinds. The guy
- 7:19Speaker 4: got wings. We got all kinds of food there. It
- 7:21Speaker 4: was nuts.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. It is a great place. It is
- 7:24Speaker 2: a great stop.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I will say that.
- 7:27Speaker 4: She knows her stops.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I do.
- 7:29Speaker 2: We travel a lot.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Mandy's here, by the way.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Hi.
- 7:32Speaker 2: How's it going?
- 7:32Speaker 4: Mandy, tell everybody who you are, how you know us.
- 7:35Speaker 5: How do I know Joel and Becker? You know, we
- 7:38Speaker 5: did this radio thing together for a little bit.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Last episode we had Becca on, it was an episode
- 7:43Speaker 4: titled Life After Radio.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Slash holes.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Slash holes. Did you listen to that one?
- 7:48Speaker 2: I did on the way here, actually.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Mandy actually listens to the podcast, which is good because
- 7:52Speaker 4: a lot of guests come on here and they have
- 7:53Speaker 4: no idea what they're getting themselves into, but you know
- 7:56Speaker 4: exactly what you're going to get.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 4: A bunch of nonsense.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I love the podcast.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Oh, thank you.
- 8:00Speaker 5: And like Jeopardy, I feel like I know the answers
- 8:03Speaker 5: when I'm listening, but I guarantee today I'll probably be
- 8:06Speaker 5: like blowing it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's the way I know. What's that you say?
- 8:10Speaker 4: Joel blows it too.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 8:14Speaker 2: That's a whole other podcast.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what?
- 8:17Speaker 4: And with that, episode 66. Do you want to hit
- 8:19Speaker 4: the thing?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Sure, here's the thing.
- 8:21Speaker 3: The Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel. The
- 8:26Speaker 3: trivia podcast where truth.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Theory, and THC collide.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Let's spark your curiosity and light up some knowledge. The
- 8:36Speaker 3: Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel starts now.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Hello.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Dude, your face, man. Welcome to the podcast. You're so funny.
- 8:47Speaker 2: He did say he was a little off.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I felt a little off today. I like when
- 8:51Speaker 4: I look at Joel when we're playing the opener. Not
- 8:53Speaker 4: a lot of people know. We're doing this all like,
- 8:55Speaker 4: this is like live, you know, if you will. Something
- 8:58Speaker 4: like that.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It's behind the curtain.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I love looking at Joel's face and he's just like
- 9:02Speaker 4: looking around at the room like, what is he thinking
- 9:05Speaker 4: about right now, you know?
- 9:06Speaker 1: No, I'm thinking about today. I just felt a little off. Yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You feel on now?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Not necessarily, no.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Oh, this episode 66 for you.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Look forward to that.
- 9:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 1: No, I don't know. You know, when you sleep for
- 9:20Speaker 1: so long that your eyes like hurt enough to give
- 9:23Speaker 1: you a headache.
- 9:24Speaker 4: You were talking about that with her. I don't understand that.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Why did you sleep so long?
- 9:29Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I just felt I fell asleep on the couch like
- 9:31Speaker 1: 1030 last night. And then I woke up at 1 a.m.
- 9:34Speaker 1: and actually went to bed. And then I slept till
- 9:37Speaker 1: like 9 a.m. So I felt like I never get
- 9:39Speaker 1: that much sleep. I normally sleep for like five, six
- 9:41Speaker 1: hours a throw and I'm fine. But I don't know.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I felt like I slept too much. And then when
- 9:47Speaker 1: I woke up, I just had a splitting migraine.
- 9:50Speaker 2: We're going to have some kind of plague by next week,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I think.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Why?
- 9:54Speaker 1: A plague?
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because this one here doesn't feel well.
- 9:57Speaker 1: No, I felt a little off for the past couple days. No,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I don't. But I also feel a little congested. But
- 10:03Speaker 1: I think it's allergies.
- 10:05Speaker 2: You're one of those people.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Oh, not that.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Come on.
- 10:08Speaker 1: What do you mean not that?
- 10:09Speaker 4: You're one of those people. It's like, I couldn't possibly
- 10:11Speaker 4: be sick. It's got to be allergies.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It drives me crazy.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It is allergies. It is.
- 10:14Speaker 3: No, no.
- 10:15Speaker 4: I'm stuffed up.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Don't tell me that you have allergies. It's like when
- 10:18Speaker 5: your kid, oh, it's just allergies. And then my kid's
- 10:20Speaker 5: puking three days later.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 2: See, it's not allergies. I'm puking three days from now.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I'm going to be pissed.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's just the allergies, Becker.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It is. You know what? For a while, I was
- 10:31Speaker 1: taking like a Zyrtec every day, as my doctor told
- 10:34Speaker 1: me to, and I was feeling very good. And then
- 10:36Speaker 1: I stopped, and then I started feeling like shit again.
- 10:38Speaker 1: So it's amazing how that works.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe you should get back on your Zyrtec.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So maybe it is just allergies. This is what I'm
- 10:43Speaker 1: telling you. It might be.
- 10:44Speaker 4: I take a thing every day.
- 10:46Speaker 1: A thing?
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I take a thing. It's called Zyzol. Zyzol is
- 10:49Speaker 4: very good for allergy issues. Wait, I think I saw
- 10:51Speaker 4: that ad. Yeah, it's the one with the owl.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yeah. There's an ad on TV for it and you're
- 10:56Speaker 1: taking it? Yep. Boy, that should make you feel old. Oh, no. Yeah, really.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Think about it. You're right.
- 11:02Speaker 5: That's all that's on streaming ads. Oh, there's the allergies again. Yep.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Telling you.
- 11:10Speaker 4: If I have allergies in three days from now.
- 11:13Speaker 2: That's right. We're all going to have allergies in five days.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So you know how this show goes.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Of course.
- 11:18Speaker 1: We learn a little.
- 11:19Speaker 4: We never talk politics. We're not going to do that today.
- 11:22Speaker 4: It's not a political podcast.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Are we ready for the rapid round? Sure. Are you good?
- 11:26Speaker 4: Oh, I'm great. Aside from feeling a little off, I'm great.
- 11:30Speaker 1: All right. Go ahead. Okay.
- 11:34Speaker 2: The game begins in three, two, one.
- 11:35Speaker 1: All right, Mandy.
- 11:41Speaker 4: In what city would you find the Louvre Museum?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Ah, Louvre. Paris.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Very good.
- 11:48Speaker 4: How many sides does a hexagon have?
- 11:52Speaker 2: I'm not good at math.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Nine?
- 11:54Speaker 1: No.
- 11:56Speaker 4: What's the freezing point of water in Celsius?
- 11:58Speaker 5: 32.
- 11:58Speaker 1: No.
- 12:00Speaker 5: What?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Zero? Yes.
- 12:02Speaker 4: What is a polar bear's skin color?
- 12:05Speaker 2: White?
- 12:06Speaker 1: No.
- 12:08Speaker 2: See, I told you guys. Like, check it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: In which month of the year is the Earth closest
- 12:13Speaker 1: to the sun?
- 12:15Speaker 2: The summertime?
- 12:16Speaker 4: No.
- 12:17Speaker 1: No.
- 12:18Speaker 4: What country is the cold soup gazpacho from?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Mexico.
- 12:23Speaker 3: No.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Well, maybe.
- 12:26Speaker 1: No, it's not. What? Next one. What's the only continent
- 12:30Speaker 1: that lies in all four hemispheres?
- 12:33Speaker 3: What?
- 12:34Speaker 1: What's the only continent that lies in all four hemispheres?
- 12:38Speaker 2: I have no idea. See, I told you guys. I
- 12:41Speaker 2: knew I was going to choke.
- 12:43Speaker 4: What shape is used for a Venn diagram?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Oh, I can see it. Is it oval?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Oval.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I agree with you. That's oval. He wrote circles.
- 12:55Speaker 2: No, I think they're ovals.
- 12:57Speaker 1: They're ovals. They're bigger.
- 12:59Speaker 4: They're just big circles. No, an oval is a wider circle.
- 13:04Speaker 5: True.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 4: We'll look it up.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Okay. What a fun word. Oval. Oval.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Like Ovaltine.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Ovaltine, yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, see, that's because we're old.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't know what that is. What is that?
- 13:15Speaker 2: You never drank your Ovaltine growing up?
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know what that is.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Isn't it like a chocolate drink?
- 13:19Speaker 1: It is, yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's like a healthy chocolate drink.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Makes you, you know. All right, we didn't get to these.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Phil, not off.
- 13:25Speaker 1: We'll do them anyway here just for shits and giggles.
- 13:28Speaker 1: What's a handbag without straps or handles? What's that commonly called?
- 13:33Speaker 2: A clutch.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, a clutch bag, yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 4: What is the term for an animal that only eats plants?
- 13:38Speaker 2: That is an herbivore.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You did pretty well. All right, we'll recap here. In
- 13:43Speaker 1: what city would you find the Louvre Museum? Paris.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Paris.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I was there. Oh, yeah? Yeah, it was cool. Isn't
- 13:49Speaker 1: that where Mona Lisa is? I saw Mona Lisa. Isn't
- 13:52Speaker 1: Mona Lisa in the Louvre?
- 13:53Speaker 3: Sure.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Didn't you say you were there?
- 13:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Shouldn't you know if she was there?
- 13:56Speaker 1: I should know, but I'm just asking to confirm.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Dummy.
- 13:59Speaker 2: You missed that one.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I saw Mona Lisa, and the craziest thing is that
- 14:04Speaker 1: you wait in line for hours and hours and hours.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And then you walk into this big-ass room and there's
- 14:10Speaker 1: this tiny, tiny little picture and it's the Mona Lisa.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Did you go in and you were like, that's photoshopped,
- 14:16Speaker 4: that's not real.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Did you touch it?
- 14:18Speaker 1: No, you can't touch it. You can't even get close
- 14:20Speaker 1: to it. You can't even get anywhere close to it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I don't know. I think it's a little overhyped.
- 14:25Speaker 4: It is in the Louvre Museum. Confirmed.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And it is cool that it was stolen for years
- 14:33Speaker 1: and years and years and then they got it back.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I understand.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I just think that Isn't there a movie about that?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Maybe, I don't know.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You learn something new every day seriously i'll.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Watch it if it's less than an hour and a
- 14:45Speaker 1: half no you won't.
- 14:46Speaker 5: I asked you to watch a christmas was it a
- 14:48Speaker 5: christmas story or um no national lampoons and i still
- 14:51Speaker 5: don't think you watched it yeah i try all the
- 14:53Speaker 5: every year you would probably like it because you like
- 14:56Speaker 5: the national anthem lately and the old lady singing on
- 14:59Speaker 5: that movie is the same as martha and the vandellas
- 15:03Speaker 5: really no it just sounds.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Like it oh and she's better i think yeah yeah
- 15:08Speaker 4: How many sides does a hexagon have? You had said nine.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I'm not good with math, guys.
- 15:12Speaker 1: All right, so I remember learning this as like hex, six, x, x, x, x.
- 15:18Speaker 1: You remember the x's?
- 15:19Speaker 4: A lot of x's there.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That is a lot of x's. But x, six? S-I-X. X.
- 15:25Speaker 4: They both have X's in them.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I never made it to geometry.
- 15:29Speaker 1: No?
- 15:29Speaker 2: No, I didn't make it to geometry.
- 15:31Speaker 4: What school did you go to? It's usually a requirement.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Lee Hyten. No, actually, I was in algebra two like
- 15:36Speaker 2: three times.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I love how he says, oh, there you go.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It's okay, guys.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 15:41Speaker 2: It's all right. But yeah, no, I never made it
- 15:43Speaker 2: to geometry.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Joel didn't either.
- 15:45Speaker 4: That's why I'm in radio. I was in geometry. Here's
- 15:49Speaker 4: one I was, oh, we didn't go through this one yet.
- 15:51Speaker 4: The freezing point of water. You had said 32. But
- 15:53Speaker 4: then you said zero.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You got zero, yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I thought about freezing, and then I was like, that's
- 15:57Speaker 2: not the.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Point, though. A polar bear's skin color, you said white.
- 16:00Speaker 1: The opposite of white is? Black.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It has black skin.
- 16:04Speaker 4: White fur, black skin.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Huh.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah. That's pretty cool. In what month of the year
- 16:09Speaker 1: is the Earth closest to the sun? You said summertime.
- 16:11Speaker 1: The correct answer is January. Isn't that wild? Why isn't
- 16:15Speaker 1: it July?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, see, that's weird.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah. You sure about that one, ChatGPT?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Let's look it up really quick, just in case.
- 16:20Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 16:21Speaker 5: I would think if the sun was closer, that would
- 16:23Speaker 5: be when we're in summertime, right? Isn't that how that works?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 16:27Speaker 4: In which month of the year is the Earth closest
- 16:30Speaker 4: to the sun? It said January when I was looking
- 16:33Speaker 4: it up.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I mean, maybe it's right.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, January. Typically around January 3rd.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And we never see the sun, I feel like, in January.
- 16:40Speaker 1: This closest point is called... Perihelion. That's probably wrong. I
- 16:50Speaker 1: don't believe him. It's called P-E-R-I-H-E-L-I-O-N. Perihelion.
- 16:56Speaker 5: You should ask your friend ChatGBT how to say that.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not fair. I don't care that much.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I was just confirming that he was correct. Yes, thanks. Yes.
- 17:05Speaker 4: What country is the cold soup gazpacho from or gazpacho?
- 17:08Speaker 1: What the hell is that? What is gazpacho? It's gross.
- 17:11Speaker 4: It's not good because you want it to be warm.
- 17:13Speaker 4: If it was warm, it would probably be good, but
- 17:15Speaker 4: it's actually served cold.
- 17:16Speaker 1: What is it?
- 17:16Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 17:17Speaker 5: I also think I get it like mixed up with ceviche,
- 17:20Speaker 5: which is also gross.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I don't know what ceviche is, I don't think. Isn't
- 17:24Speaker 4: it like snails?
- 17:25Speaker 2: It's fish.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And it's not cooked.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Oh.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It's cold.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Ew.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I'd still try it.
- 17:30Speaker 5: And I think I said Mexico because we were served
- 17:33Speaker 5: that in Mexico and I was like, nope, not eating that.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Okay, so classic traditional gazpacho. Is that how you say it? Yes.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Gazpacho.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Gazpacho. One of those.
- 17:42Speaker 4: It's a cold.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Spanish soup made by blending fresh raw vegetables, olive oil,
- 17:49Speaker 1: and vinegar. Nope. Yeah, that sounds a little.
- 17:52Speaker 2: That's a hard pass.
- 17:53Speaker 4: That sounds a little gross. Yeah, he's not going to
- 17:55Speaker 4: have that. What is the only continent that lies in
- 17:59Speaker 4: all four hemispheres?
- 18:00Speaker 2: That one blew my mind.
- 18:01Speaker 4: You didn't have a guess for that one, huh?
- 18:05Speaker 2: No.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Just pick one of the seven and keep going until
- 18:08Speaker 1: you get it right. That's what I would do.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I'm just happy. Hey, remember there are seven of them. Yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 4: You got to give me some credit sometime. Do learn
- 18:16Speaker 4: on this show.
- 18:18Speaker 2: If you attach Canada to us, like would that be
- 18:22Speaker 2: North America?
- 18:23Speaker 4: No, the answer is Africa.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What else did we learn?
- 18:28Speaker 4: What shape is used in a Venn diagram?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Ovals.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Well, look it up for crying out loud. We're going
- 18:34Speaker 4: to be corrected me the whole show. Why not just
- 18:36Speaker 4: confirm that I'm right?
- 18:37Speaker 2: I haven't used a Venn diagram in quite some time.
- 18:40Speaker 2: You don't really need that in radio.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Or in real life at all.
- 18:44Speaker 1: What does it say there? Venn diagram usually uses overlapping circles.
- 18:48Speaker 1: But it can also use other closed curves like ellipses.
- 18:53Speaker 4: What the hell is an ellipse? ellipses, rectangles, or triangles.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Didn't Mitsubishi have a car? Yeah, that was the eclipse. Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 4: that was an eclipse, I think.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 19:05Speaker 2: We'll look at that.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Moving on.
- 19:06Speaker 2: It does look like circles, though.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I like ovals better.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 19:10Speaker 4: But the correct answer is circles.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess that's wrong.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Thank you. You got clutch bag and herbivore.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 19:19Speaker 4: And you've been eating nothing but meat, right? And proteins
- 19:22Speaker 4: and shit. Yeah, I'm trying to. Have you gained weight?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I lose it and then gain it
- 19:27Speaker 1: and then lose it. It sucks. What did you eat today?
- 19:30Speaker 1: What did I eat today? A bowl of soup.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Was it gazpacho?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, did you have gazpacho today?
- 19:35Speaker 1: No, it was Campbell's something or another. Every time I
- 19:39Speaker 1: eat Campbell's soup now, I think that leaked audio from
- 19:42Speaker 1: their CEO when he was talking about, I don't eat
- 19:45Speaker 1: our product because who would want to eat chicken from
- 19:47Speaker 1: a 3D printer? I can't. like not however though it's
- 19:51Speaker 1: weird with soup you got to get the campbell's like
- 19:54Speaker 1: i try to get the progresso soup it just doesn't
- 19:56Speaker 1: cut it no i don't know i think you have
- 19:58Speaker 1: to get.
- 19:59Speaker 2: The 3d printed chicken soup i don't The chicken and stars, baby.
- 20:03Speaker 4: You know, their chicken noodle is like a classic, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 4: but when I look at that broth, I'm like, that
- 20:08Speaker 4: is definitely yellower than it should be.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I don't like cutting it with water either.
- 20:13Speaker 2: So it's probably even worse for me.
- 20:15Speaker 1: See, I like the pub style ones that are like
- 20:17Speaker 1: a little thicker. Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 4: I like that too. The heartier ones.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They're probably extra 3d printed. Probably. I don't know.
- 20:24Speaker 2: So you like the thicker ones then?
- 20:25Speaker 1: You have to, right? It's Yeah. What? Blazed and confused.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Random thoughts. I read Becker's random thoughts. Should I start
- 20:37Speaker 1: at the top one here? Yeah, let's do that one first. Okay.
- 20:41Speaker 1: The definition of bribery is offering, giving, receiving, or promising
- 20:46Speaker 1: something of value in exchange for influencing someone's actions or decisions,
- 20:52Speaker 1: particularly an official act. With that being said, if a
- 20:56Speaker 1: president offers or promises America's five....
- 21:01Speaker 2: This is not a political podcast.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I have to agree with this. With that being said,
- 21:06Speaker 1: if a president offers or promises Americans $ 5, 000 for their vote... Dot, dot, dot. Dot, dot, dot.
- 21:13Speaker 2: But I mean, I'll take the $ 5, 000.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd take five grand. I also want the $ 2, 000 from.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Weren't we supposed to get $ 2, 000 from the Doge checks?
- 21:22Speaker 4: Tesla guy.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Elon Musk.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Did you guys get yours?
- 21:25Speaker 2: No.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I thought I was just off the list or something.
- 21:29Speaker 1: All right. So that's $ 7, 000. Did you get yours? No.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Oh.
- 21:33Speaker 1: No. I'm just saying.
- 21:34Speaker 4: That's pretty sweet. If you guys got it and I didn't,
- 21:36Speaker 4: I'm going to make a phone call.
- 21:37Speaker 1: No. To who?
- 21:39Speaker 4: Elon.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Doge.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Doge.
- 21:42Speaker 2: That department just shut down.
- 21:43Speaker 4: It doesn't even exist anymore. That was the whole thing.
- 21:46Speaker 4: You couldn't call their customer service to complain because they
- 21:48Speaker 4: didn't exist anymore.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah, talk about Elon. I'll tell you what's very, very,
- 21:52Speaker 1: very sad. The former Toys R Us is now.
- 21:56Speaker 2: A Tesla dealership. My childhood is crushed.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Right?
- 22:00Speaker 1: I feel the same way. And not only is it
- 22:02Speaker 1: a Tesla, it just looks like awful. It just looks sad.
- 22:06Speaker 5: It's wrong.
- 22:07Speaker 1: It's wrong.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 1: There used to be a nice colorful building and they
- 22:11Speaker 1: literally painted everything black.
- 22:12Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It just looks.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Well, also remember when they redid the Toys R Us?
- 22:17Speaker 5: I didn't like that either. Like I just wanted my
- 22:19Speaker 5: straight up Toys R Us. They did that whole like
- 22:21Speaker 5: blue front and the windows and.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Well, the only good thing about that Tesla dealership is
- 22:28Speaker 4: there's a Longhorn Steakhouse right next door. Gotta love Longhorn.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I do, but I can't stand to look at the
- 22:33Speaker 2: Tesla dealership.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:35Speaker 2: That was a cool store at one time. Blew all
- 22:38Speaker 2: your Christmas money.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 4: And now it's like a gigantic parking lot. They have
- 22:42Speaker 4: 12 cars out there.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, really?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 4: You know, I wonder about that, too. Does that mean that, like,
- 22:49Speaker 4: nobody's buying Teslas? And, like, if they had more inventory,
- 22:54Speaker 4: if they had more cars sitting outside, that would allude
- 22:56Speaker 4: to the fact that more people are buying Teslas?
- 22:58Speaker 3: Or.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Are they inside? Like, do they keep the cars inside?
- 23:01Speaker 4: That's another thing. That building is pretty big. I was
- 23:03Speaker 4: there the other day. I was like, I want, if
- 23:05Speaker 4: this is just, I think it's a service center. I
- 23:08Speaker 4: don't know if it's like a dealership. I think it's
- 23:10Speaker 4: like a service center.
- 23:12Speaker 2: That sounds like a podcast road trip.
- 23:15Speaker 1: We should go there.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Elon sent us. He's a big fan.
- 23:20Speaker 1: When you think of Teslas, do you think that in
- 23:22Speaker 1: like 20 years from now, everybody's going to be driving
- 23:24Speaker 1: one of those?
- 23:25Speaker 4: Because I hope not. You know, I really hope not.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I just think they're ugly. I think that electric cars
- 23:30Speaker 4: will catch on when they're not ugly. Think about this.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Was it Toyota that made the first hybrid vehicle? And
- 23:35Speaker 4: look how long it took for other brands to catch
- 23:39Speaker 4: up and actually do it and get to electric. So
- 23:41Speaker 4: it could be a little while.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 23:42Speaker 4: It could be 20 years. It could be. We'll see.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Anything but those dumbass looking Cybertrucks. They look like a toaster.
- 23:48Speaker 5: I have to tell you, Ellie, who's seven, my daughter Ellie,
- 23:52Speaker 5: she saw one of those the other day driving down
- 23:54Speaker 5: the road.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 5: And I thought everybody hated that, like hated that design.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Ellie goes, mom, look at that cool car. And I said,
- 24:01Speaker 5: what cool car? And she goes, that one, the one
- 24:05Speaker 5: with all the shapes. And I was like, oh, you're right.
- 24:09Speaker 2: That is a lot of shapes. So according to kids,
- 24:11Speaker 2: it looks pretty cool.
- 24:12Speaker 4: It actually makes sense because that's, I explained it to
- 24:14Speaker 4: a friend the other day, looking at one of those vehicles.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I said, that looks like a car that I drew
- 24:17Speaker 4: when I was two. Yeah, that's a.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Kid drawing, I think. And they're really excited about it.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Because they drew it.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 2: And do you know they do like light shows with
- 24:26Speaker 2: those cars?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Really?
- 24:27Speaker 5: Like the, I don't know if it's the trucks, but
- 24:29Speaker 5: the cars, I was at a kid's birthday party and
- 24:32Speaker 5: they promised a light show. And when we went out
- 24:35Speaker 5: in the parking lot, it was a Tesla and like the,
- 24:37Speaker 5: the doors.
- 24:38Speaker 2: And windows open and it plays music. And I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 2: It was wild.
- 24:43Speaker 4: 20 years.
- 24:44Speaker 1: We'll see. I hope not. I hope not.
- 24:46Speaker 4: What else was I thinking about?
- 24:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 1: So let me read more Becker's random thoughts here. Uh,
- 24:51Speaker 1: you hold the door for someone. They walk through, they
- 24:54Speaker 1: don't say thank you. Do you immediately thing you can't,
- 24:58Speaker 1: you can't just read it. Okay.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:03Speaker 1: You hold the door for someone. They walk through. They
- 25:05Speaker 1: don't say thank you. Do you immediately think they're a
- 25:08Speaker 1: trash bag of a human? Because I do. That's what
- 25:11Speaker 1: I was thinking this week. Yeah, I would definitely say yes.
- 25:12Speaker 1: There's a lot of people that do that at the gym,
- 25:14Speaker 1: I've noticed. You hold the door for somebody and they
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't say anything.
- 25:17Speaker 4: It's fucking annoying.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I almost rather you not hold the door open for
- 25:23Speaker 1: me so I don't have to do it for you
- 25:25Speaker 1: either to avoid the awkward. Yeah.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I just, I don't know. People just don't have that
- 25:30Speaker 2: respect anymore.
- 25:30Speaker 4: It's a simple thank you.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 4: It's barely a breath.
- 25:34Speaker 1: What made you think of this?
- 25:35Speaker 4: I was out of town. I was out of town
- 25:37Speaker 4: this weekend and, um, we were going to a cafe,
- 25:40Speaker 4: but I was, I opened the door for a server
- 25:43Speaker 4: that was serving people that were sitting outside.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:45Speaker 4: So she was going back into the restaurant. So I
- 25:47Speaker 4: grabbed the door for her and I opened it up
- 25:48Speaker 4: and she just walked in. Didn't say a fucking thing.
- 25:50Speaker 2: The server.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Like she just walked in. Didn't even say anything. Well,
- 25:55Speaker 4: then we were inside. So it was one of these
- 25:57Speaker 4: places where you can go in and you can order
- 25:59Speaker 4: what you want to eat at the register. And then,
- 26:02Speaker 4: you walk away and someone brings it to you. And, uh,
- 26:05Speaker 4: I went up to order the food and this girl,
- 26:07Speaker 4: probably if I had to guess like 17 years old,
- 26:10Speaker 4: didn't even look at me. She made no eye contact
- 26:14Speaker 4: with me and didn't like respond to anything I was saying.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I was like, Oh, I'd like an everything bagel sandwich with,
- 26:21Speaker 4: you know, Taylor ham. And, and she was just on
- 26:23Speaker 4: the computer.
- 26:24Speaker 1: She hates her life.
- 26:24Speaker 2: That's what they do now, though, man.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They don't even talk to you. That's what everybody does now.
- 26:27Speaker 2: No, they don't want to talk to you.
- 26:28Speaker 4: She even had this really cool necklace that she probably
- 26:31Speaker 4: made herself, and it looked really rad, though.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I was like, yo.
- 26:34Speaker 4: I was like, hey, that's a really cool necklace, by
- 26:36Speaker 4: the way. And she didn't say a fucking word to me.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Why are you trying to talk to somebody that definitely
- 26:39Speaker 4: doesn't want to talk to you? At that point, I
- 26:41Speaker 4: was like, oh, wow. But it was like after that moment,
- 26:44Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, you just don't want anything to do
- 26:46Speaker 4: with me. There's a difference between being polite and being annoying.
- 26:49Speaker 4: That's teetering on both.
- 26:52Speaker 5: Wait wait wait so he said that he liked her
- 26:56Speaker 5: necklace and that's.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Annoying no yeah it's annoying because you already knew that
- 27:00Speaker 1: she didn't want to talk to you.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Not really it was like i just noticed she was
- 27:03Speaker 4: going she was working and then i i tried to
- 27:05Speaker 4: talk to her once it was just one time i
- 27:07Speaker 4: tried so.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Also he wasn't at the dmv like this is.
- 27:11Speaker 4: A restaurant customer service yeah It's not a restaurant either.
- 27:15Speaker 1: It's for ordering bagels.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Well, it was a cafe that you ordered your food
- 27:19Speaker 4: at the register.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I defend that girl. Granted, I think
- 27:23Speaker 1: that customer service is fucked everywhere, but certain people just
- 27:27Speaker 1: aren't social, which means that you.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Probably shouldn't have that job.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Why are you defending this person? I don't know.
- 27:33Speaker 4: You're a dick.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:35Speaker 1: If I didn't want to talk to somebody and it
- 27:36Speaker 1: was very visible that I didn't want to talk to
- 27:38Speaker 1: somebody and then they said, oh, nice necklace. I don't
- 27:40Speaker 1: know why that would fill me with rage.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Don't compliment Joel when he's wearing a necklace.
- 27:48Speaker 4: I'm not going to say anything.
- 27:49Speaker 1: All right, good.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Man, Joel's bitter when he's off.
- 27:53Speaker 4: He's feeling off. No, he's always like that.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Is he? Yeah. Uh, what else?
- 28:00Speaker 4: Uh, yeah, we wanted to talk about this. There's a
- 28:02Speaker 4: video that I saw online. Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and
- 28:05Speaker 4: Sean Hayes are all sitting in a cab together and they're,
- 28:07Speaker 4: they have their own podcast, which is pretty good. I
- 28:08Speaker 4: think it's called like shameless or something like that, but
- 28:10Speaker 4: they were talking about this subject, uh, of showering morning
- 28:15Speaker 4: or nighttime and why and why.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Okay. So I grew up a nighttime shower kid always,
- 28:22Speaker 1: but then the older I got and when I started
- 28:24Speaker 1: doing morning radio and having to get up three o'clock
- 28:26Speaker 1: in the morning, I started showering in the morning for
- 28:29Speaker 1: the sole purpose of I needed to wake up and
- 28:31Speaker 1: I kind of never went back. But now, now that
- 28:35Speaker 1: I'm like not getting up and going to a job
- 28:36Speaker 1: every day, now I shower at like noon every day
- 28:40Speaker 1: after I go to the gym. Okay.
- 28:42Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Noon, one o'clock.
- 28:43Speaker 4: So you get out of bed, you go about your
- 28:45Speaker 4: morning and then you're like, well, the idea is you're
- 28:48Speaker 4: going to go to the gym and you're going to
- 28:49Speaker 4: get sweaty anyway. You're going to need a shower afterwards.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I would totally understand that.
- 28:52Speaker 1: However, though, I do hear the argument of you go
- 28:57Speaker 1: about your day, you sweat, you're gross, and then you
- 28:59Speaker 1: get into your bed. I hear that argument, and I
- 29:02Speaker 1: do think about it. Ideally, I'd like to shower twice
- 29:07Speaker 1: a day, but I think that's a little extreme. But
- 29:09Speaker 1: I think there's people that do that, though. I think
- 29:11Speaker 1: that you could shower twice a day and have two
- 29:13Speaker 1: showers that serve two different purposes. The morning showers to
- 29:16Speaker 1: wake you up and the nighttime showers to clean you.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Maybe you don't even soap it up the first shower.
- 29:20Speaker 1: You can only soap it up the second one, you know?
- 29:22Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:24Speaker 4: You're waking up from a night of sleeping, which you
- 29:26Speaker 4: might have been. You're People normally sweat. They kind of
- 29:28Speaker 4: wake up kind of dewy and kind of gross.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:32Speaker 4: You got to wash that shit off, too, before you
- 29:33Speaker 4: go in public, don't you think?
- 29:34Speaker 2: I don't know. Sometimes I'm a both, guys. I'm not
- 29:37Speaker 2: going to lie.
- 29:38Speaker 4: Yeah, she's shower both times.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 4: I do that too sometimes.
- 29:41Speaker 2: If I have time.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Like I am going to shower both times.
- 29:43Speaker 4: I remember as a kid finding it kind of comforting,
- 29:45Speaker 4: like getting in a cold, like a warm shower before
- 29:47Speaker 4: bed and being cozy.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I honestly like a bath better than a shower.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I haven't had a bath in a long time. What
- 29:53Speaker 1: about you? I can't tell you the last time I
- 29:55Speaker 1: had a bath.
- 29:56Speaker 5: That's like the only time I'm by myself though.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 29:59Speaker 5: Although Bill and Ellie burst through the door anyway, but
- 30:02Speaker 5: I get maybe five minutes.
- 30:03Speaker 4: You got to get rid of that, I'm telling you.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Families are overrated now.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Everybody needs me when I'm in the bathtub.
- 30:10Speaker 4: You don't get a lick of time. And then they
- 30:14Speaker 4: were talking about on this video that I saw about
- 30:17Speaker 4: having to shower after you use the bathroom. My friend,
- 30:21Speaker 4: I'm going to say his name. His name's Trevor. My
- 30:24Speaker 4: friend Trevor would always be like, dude, I got to
- 30:26Speaker 4: run to my house really quick.
- 30:28Speaker 1: And I'm like, okay.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And I remember the first time I experienced this. He
- 30:30Speaker 4: went upstairs. He had to use the bathroom. And then
- 30:32Speaker 4: I heard the water go on. And I was like,
- 30:34Speaker 4: what's going on up there? And then he came down
- 30:37Speaker 4: like seven minutes later. And I was like, dude, what
- 30:39Speaker 4: are you doing? He's like, oh, I got a shower
- 30:41Speaker 4: after I take a shit.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Every time?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Apparently.
- 30:44Speaker 4: That's extreme.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I was like, what are you doing up there?
- 30:48Speaker 4: And he worked like an hour and a half into
- 30:50Speaker 4: Jersey for work. And I was like, So what do
- 30:53Speaker 4: you take a shower at work.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Or what do you do?
- 30:55Speaker 4: And he goes, Oh, I don't go at work. There's
- 30:57Speaker 4: a lot of people that say they don't shit at work,
- 30:58Speaker 4: but it's like, okay, exactly.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Why not? Cause that's a first, it's a great excuse
- 31:04Speaker 1: to get away from people. I have to go shit.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Even if you don't, you go, you know what I mean?
- 31:09Speaker 4: Even if I didn't want to shit at work, I
- 31:10Speaker 4: would still tell people that I, I'm going to.
- 31:13Speaker 5: I will tell you though, I'm thinking twice because now
- 31:15Speaker 5: the bathroom isn't in the station anymore.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard.
- 31:18Speaker 5: You have to, like, go outside and mingle with the public,
- 31:20Speaker 5: sort of. Like, out the door, and anybody could be
- 31:23Speaker 5: in that bathroom. Hey, Jim.
- 31:26Speaker 2: It's just weird. Take your shit.
- 31:30Speaker 1: It's just weird. But no, there's a lot of people
- 31:33Speaker 1: that I've heard that all say the same thing. I
- 31:35Speaker 1: don't shit at work. I only shit at home. It's like,
- 31:38Speaker 1: I understand that. However, there has to come a point where.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You just gotta go.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Exactly. Exactly.
- 31:43Speaker 4: You gotta go and you gotta go at work. I
- 31:44Speaker 4: have never been weird about that.
- 31:46Speaker 1: If you have to use the.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Bathroom, you gotta go. Yeah, use the bathroom.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I feel the same way.
- 31:49Speaker 2: But what are you doing that you gotta get a
- 31:51Speaker 2: shower afterwards?
- 31:52Speaker 3: I know.
- 31:53Speaker 2: What is happening there?
- 31:53Speaker 1: I don't know if I want to know, to be
- 31:55Speaker 1: honest with you.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Is that like the lettuce problem?
- 31:57Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe. The lettuce problem.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Diarrhea lettuce?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Is that still a problem?
- 32:03Speaker 2: I think so.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Have you had lettuce lately?
- 32:06Speaker 3: I have.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Have you had diarrhea lately?
- 32:09Speaker 3: Uh.
- 32:09Speaker 2: That's why you're feeling off probably. Did you have lettuce today?
- 32:12Speaker 1: No, I had lettuce. I had lettuce last week though.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And now that you mentioned it, I have felt kind
- 32:16Speaker 1: of since eating it.
- 32:17Speaker 2: It's probably the diarrhea lettuce.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Way to go.
- 32:20Speaker 1: All right. We should move on. Is it trivia time? Okay.
- 32:25Speaker 4: Who's going first? I will ask you first.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Question number one.
- 32:32Speaker 1: And now Mandy, you know, you're our lifeline now. Yeah. Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 32:37Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Tanks, you know, tanks. They were used in battle for
- 32:41Speaker 4: the first time in what war? Ooh.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Tanks. I think this is World War I.
- 32:47Speaker 4: You're a tank guy, I can tell.
- 32:48Speaker 3: No.
- 32:49Speaker 2: He looked really confused when he said the word tank.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like tank. Tanks. Yeah. I really think
- 32:55Speaker 1: it's World War I. But it might be World War II,
- 32:59Speaker 1: but I think it's I. I do. When you think
- 33:01Speaker 1: of World War I, you think of like trench warfare, right?
- 33:05Speaker 2: What's a tank?
- 33:05Speaker 4: I don't know what that means. What does trench warfare mean?
- 33:07Speaker 2: Like when they're in the trenches?
- 33:08Speaker 1: When they're in the trenches.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Aren't they all trench wars?
- 33:11Speaker 1: No, but like trench warfare is, that's like when they
- 33:14Speaker 1: were first doing that, when there was like little underground cities.
- 33:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 33:19Speaker 4: I didn't retain any of that stuff from school.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Dude, history was the only thing that I found remotely
- 33:24Speaker 1: interesting in school. So yeah, I really think it's world
- 33:27Speaker 1: war one. I really think it's world war one.
- 33:30Speaker 4: You have a lifeline.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm not going to go there for some question though.
- 33:33Speaker 4: How do you feel about his, do you have to
- 33:35Speaker 4: give any answers, but how do you feel about his guests?
- 33:38Speaker 5: Well, because I don't know anything about it. I'm going
- 33:40Speaker 5: to say he might be right.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I'm going to go with World War I, final answer. Fucker.
- 33:49Speaker 2: See, he was right. He did look confused, though, on
- 33:52Speaker 2: a tank.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I was a little confused as the tank word came up.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But yes, told you.
- 33:57Speaker 4: He did a good job.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Let's go to the next one.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Question two. More history, please.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Sort of. What was the first Disney animated film based
- 34:08Speaker 4: on the life of a real person?
- 34:14Speaker 1: Based on the life of a real person as in, like,
- 34:17Speaker 1: a real human being or, like.
- 34:20Speaker 4: You know what I mean? Yeah, a real person.
- 34:23Speaker 2: That's what a real person usually means.
- 34:25Speaker 3: No, no.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I mean, if you compare Mickey Mouse to Cinderella, well,
- 34:29Speaker 1: Cinderella's a real human, but she's not actually real. You
- 34:33Speaker 1: know what I mean? That's what I'm asking you.
- 34:35Speaker 4: I don't want to answer that question to give you
- 34:37Speaker 4: any hints.
- 34:38Speaker 1: But your question is confusing then. Read it again.
- 34:44Speaker 4: What was the first Disney animated film based on the
- 34:47Speaker 4: life of a real person? Yeah, real or real. That's
- 34:51Speaker 4: my question. And he doesn't know how to answer it. Well,
- 34:57Speaker 4: do you think that, is it Cinderella? Somebody could have
- 35:00Speaker 4: met a prince, you know what I mean? And became,
- 35:03Speaker 4: you know, princess.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Is that what happened?
- 35:04Speaker 4: I don't fucking remember these movies, honestly. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Or the stories. So I don't know.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I haven't watched them in so long.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I've watched a bunch of them over.
- 35:10Speaker 1: And over again. Oh, that explains it. You have kids.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Okay, so this is what I'm saying. Like, it couldn't
- 35:15Speaker 1: be Pinocchio because obviously.
- 35:17Speaker 5: There's no way.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Well, how do you know?
- 35:18Speaker 2: Because it's the- Geppetto would have been real. Could have
- 35:21Speaker 2: been real.
- 35:23Speaker 1: But this is what I'm asking you. Does real mean
- 35:26Speaker 1: that there are real... It's based on a story about
- 35:29Speaker 1: a real life breathing human. Yes. Okay. That's what you
- 35:32Speaker 1: mean by real. Yes. I don't know if... So it's
- 35:38Speaker 1: based on a real story. That's what you're saying. Yes.
- 35:40Speaker 2: That narrows it down.
- 35:41Speaker 4: A real person.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:43Speaker 1: A real person. Hunchback of Notre Dame. No. He's a
- 35:47Speaker 1: real person.
- 35:47Speaker 3: No.
- 35:48Speaker 1: He wasn't.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Don't know he was i don't want to speak out
- 35:53Speaker 4: of turn because we never misinform anyone on this show what.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Else is there i'm trying to think it's it's like
- 36:01Speaker 1: one of those from like way back i think she
- 36:02Speaker 1: has an idea yeah i'll go to my lifeline on
- 36:05Speaker 1: the second question mandy what do.
- 36:06Speaker 5: You think well i think you gotta narrow it down
- 36:08Speaker 5: a little bit like it's none of the animals of
- 36:10Speaker 5: course you can't say like the lion king or the
- 36:12Speaker 5: little mermaid right so you certainly can't yeah.
- 36:17Speaker 2: So you got to think, is it like a Cinderella?
- 36:20Speaker 2: Is it like a.
- 36:21Speaker 1: It could be Cinderella.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Is it a Hercules?
- 36:24Speaker 1: Hercules.
- 36:26Speaker 4: I want to give you a hint. Hercules feels a little...
- 36:28Speaker 4: Everyone gets mad when I do that. Hercules feels a
- 36:29Speaker 4: little too modern, though.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I think it's like one of the old crusty ones.
- 36:34Speaker 1: So I'm trying to think of like... I'm trying to
- 36:36Speaker 1: think of like an old crusty one that's not about
- 36:38Speaker 1: an animal.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Like is Aurora from Sleeping Beauty?
- 36:42Speaker 4: I'm going to give you a hint. I think it
- 36:44Speaker 4: might be sin. Maybe it is Cinderella. Well, the movie
- 36:47Speaker 4: came out in 1995.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Oh, Oh, what about Pocahontas?
- 36:54Speaker 4: Final answer.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Pocahontas. Oh yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 2: 1995.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Thank you very much. I've actually never seen that one.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I've never seen Pocahontas.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I like Miko.
- 37:04Speaker 4: No, really?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Never seen Pocahontas.
- 37:07Speaker 4: I don't remember anything about it really, but.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Actually the only, the only thing I know about Pocahontas is, uh,
- 37:14Speaker 1: Isn't there like a raccoon in that movie or something?
- 37:17Speaker 2: I love Miko.
- 37:18Speaker 1: He's real? No.
- 37:20Speaker 2: No, the animals don't talk.
- 37:22Speaker 4: It's based on Pocahontas, that character.
- 37:24Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I also don't know if Pocahontas' story in Disney is
- 37:28Speaker 5: the same as the real Pocahontas' life.
- 37:31Speaker 1: That she falls in love with the white guy?
- 37:33Speaker 4: It might be.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Isn't that what the story of Pocahontas is, though?
- 37:37Speaker 2: It is, but I don't think that's the real story
- 37:39Speaker 2: of Pocahontas. Hit the button.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Sure. Question three.
- 37:45Speaker 4: You're so funny.
- 37:49Speaker 1: All right.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Which major car manufacturer's name means to hear or listen?
- 37:57Speaker 1: Hmm. What language is it?
- 38:02Speaker 5: No.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Which major car manufacturer's name means to hear or listen?
- 38:08Speaker 1: It's English. The.
- 38:12Speaker 4: The name means this. That's all I can tell you.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to give you that. Mitsubishi. What?
- 38:21Speaker 3: No.
- 38:23Speaker 4: I'm not saying anything.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Could it be that?
- 38:25Speaker 4: I'm not saying anything.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Why is he smirking? Mitsubishi. Read it again. To what?
- 38:33Speaker 4: Which major car manufacturer's name means to listen to? I'm sorry,
- 38:39Speaker 4: to hear or listen.
- 38:40Speaker 1: To hear, to listen, to Mitsubishi. So it's a brand,
- 38:46Speaker 1: not like a make, right? You know what I mean?
- 38:49Speaker 1: It's a brand. Okay. It's a brand of cars.
- 38:53Speaker 4: It's not the Durango.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yes, exactly. It's not a Dodge either, right? To Dodge.
- 38:59Speaker 1: To what?
- 39:02Speaker 4: To hear.
- 39:02Speaker 1: To hear.
- 39:03Speaker 2: He's not hearing.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not hearing or listening to you. I know.
- 39:06Speaker 1: What brand of cars means to hear, to listen?
- 39:11Speaker 4: It's like when you first meet Joel and you're like,
- 39:12Speaker 4: if you want to be this guy's friend, he's never
- 39:14Speaker 4: going to listen to you.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Volvo?
- 39:16Speaker 2: And that's why we love him.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I don't know, man.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Ford?
- 39:22Speaker 1: No, that was named after somebody.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Chevy?
- 39:25Speaker 5: Chevrolet?
- 39:30Speaker 1: To Chevrolet? Yeah, maybe.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Is that your guess?
- 39:35Speaker 1: Sure. Chevrolet. Nope.
- 39:37Speaker 4: You still didn't get it. All the ones you listed.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Audi.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Is it Audi?
- 39:42Speaker 2: I was going to say.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Audi.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Audi.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 2: It's audio.
- 39:46Speaker 4: It's almost, yeah.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I was going to say, it's almost in the damn name. See,
- 39:49Speaker 1: you should have came to me.
- 39:50Speaker 2: I knew that one.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I already came to you once, though.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Lost my lifeline. Shut up. Shut up. You worded that wrong.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Question four.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Twenty.
- 40:01Speaker 3: What?
- 40:02Speaker 1: You're fucked up.
- 40:04Speaker 4: All right, here we go. In radio terms, what does
- 40:09Speaker 4: AM stand for?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Oh, shit, man. I should know this, and I'm not
- 40:13Speaker 1: going to.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Do you know it?
- 40:16Speaker 2: I think I know it, yeah. I think.
- 40:19Speaker 4: I definitely know it.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Do you?
- 40:20Speaker 4: Yeah. In radio terms, what does AM stand for?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yeah, man. I have no idea. I'm not going to
- 40:27Speaker 1: get this.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I think I know this one.
- 40:30Speaker 4: You don't think you're going to get it?
- 40:31Speaker 3: No.
- 40:31Speaker 4: I don't even know where to start. I would say automatic,
- 40:34Speaker 4: and that's wrong. What do you think M stands for?
- 40:38Speaker 4: Do you know what FM stands for? Dude.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Oh, no. I know.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I feel like it's somewhere in my brain. The M's
- 40:44Speaker 4: in both words are things.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Modulation? Frequency modulation. Is that FM?
- 40:49Speaker 2: That's FM, yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Okay, frequency modulation. Something modulation. I have no idea. No idea.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I'll give you a bonus lifeline.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Mandy, what do you think?
- 41:04Speaker 2: Is it amplified modulation?
- 41:06Speaker 4: You're so close. But basically, amplitude. Oh, I was close. Modulation, yeah.
- 41:14Speaker 5: That's where my radio dork comes in a little bit.
- 41:17Speaker 1: We kind of got it. There you go. We kind
- 41:19Speaker 1: of got it.
- 41:19Speaker 4: I like that.
- 41:19Speaker 1: All right. A little bit of both. That's good. Now
- 41:21Speaker 1: I'm going to kick your ass in trivia. Here we go. Perfect.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Question number one. All right. All music this week.
- 41:27Speaker 4: No. Four lifelines.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I do have two music questions and two not music questions.
- 41:35Speaker 1: All right. I have... Another question that's a multiple choice question.
- 41:41Speaker 1: We've never had multiple choice. I like that.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:43Speaker 1: All right. Let's start with that one. Okay. Which of
- 41:46Speaker 1: the following is not a real Crayola crayon color? Crayon. Crayon. Crayon.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I don't say crayon.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Yeah, he's one of these weird people.
- 41:57Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Crayon.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Crayon.
- 41:58Speaker 4: It's spelled crayon.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Where did you go to school?
- 42:01Speaker 1: I don't want to say crayon. No, crayon. We did Emmaus, right? Yeah, yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Which of these is not a real Crayola crayon color?
- 42:09Speaker 2: Good job.
- 42:11Speaker 1: See, that feels weird. All right, tell me which one's fake. Okay.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Is it A, flesh? Is it B, fuzzy wuzzy? Is
- 42:20Speaker 1: it C, macaroni and cheese? Or is it D, inchworm?
- 42:27Speaker 4: I think it's B or D. I'm going to say B.
- 42:31Speaker 4: I think it's B.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Which of these is not a real Crayola crayon color? Flesh,
- 42:38Speaker 1: Fuzzy Wuzzy, Macaroni and Cheese.
- 42:41Speaker 4: I know that definitely is one.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Or Inchworm.
- 42:44Speaker 4: I think it's B.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Fuzzy Wuzzy.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Yeah, Fuzzy Wuzzy. Final answer.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Correct answer is Flesh.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Really?
- 42:52Speaker 5: Wow.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Even with the skin tone colors now?
- 42:54Speaker 1: There is... Which of these is not a real Crayola
- 42:57Speaker 1: crayon color? The fake Crayola crayon color is flesh.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Wow. Wow.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 43:02Speaker 4: That was a good one.
- 43:03Speaker 1: You know why? Because it's racist. How do we know
- 43:05Speaker 1: what color the flesh is?
- 43:06Speaker 5: True.
- 43:07Speaker 4: What, are we just supposed to assume it's the white flesh? Yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 4: like Mandy did with the polar bear.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:13Speaker 3: See?
- 43:14Speaker 2: That's right. Polar bear is apparently... Not white. Good answer.
- 43:21Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Question two.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Should we save the music questions for last?
- 43:30Speaker 4: Well, it doesn't matter.
- 43:32Speaker 1: You have two of them?
- 43:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Let's do one now. Okay. What Tommy James and the
- 43:37Speaker 1: Shondell song was revived in the 80s by Billy Idol?
- 43:42Speaker 2: Man, you really like to stump him with these music ones.
- 43:44Speaker 1: It's not hard to do. You want to say anything
- 43:50Speaker 1: or are you just going to sit here in silence?
- 43:51Speaker 4: I'm just thinking here.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Do you know it? Thank you. Do you know it?
- 43:56Speaker 2: I don't know that one.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You definitely know the song. Rebel Yell? Yeah.
- 44:01Speaker 3: No.
- 44:03Speaker 4: I'm trying to think of.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I don't know what was revived.
- 44:06Speaker 4: I can't even think of it.
- 44:07Speaker 1: So it's a cover. So it was originally by Tommy
- 44:10Speaker 1: James and the Shondells and was revived in the 80s
- 44:12Speaker 1: by Billy Idol. Let me look it up.
- 44:15Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I almost feel bad because I love the oldies and
- 44:19Speaker 2: I should know. And I, I don't.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Can you give me the tune like that?
- 44:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Can you sing it for us?
- 44:27Speaker 1: Okay. I'll give you a hint. Okay. There's a big
- 44:29Speaker 1: hint there. The remake of this song. There's like words,
- 44:35Speaker 1: unofficial words that people chant during this song. That's not
- 44:40Speaker 1: actually in the song. Yeah. Hey, everybody get, get.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Hey, everybody get.
- 44:49Speaker 1: What? Hey, everybody get laid, get fucked. You ever hear this?
- 44:54Speaker 4: No.
- 44:54Speaker 2: No.
- 44:55Speaker 1: What is it? It's moany moany.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know that that was what they said
- 44:59Speaker 4: in that.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Wow.
- 45:00Speaker 2: No.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Like, haven't you ever been around people when moany moany
- 45:03Speaker 1: is playing very, very loud and people yell... You know,
- 45:05Speaker 1: like the words are, hey, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Hey, everybody,
- 45:10Speaker 1: get laid, get fucked. Like they yellowed in the song.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Oh, I never heard people.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Say that before.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I hear that with Sweet Caroline, not Moany Moany.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 45:18Speaker 4: Never heard that before.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Oh, really? Yeah. Okay.
- 45:20Speaker 4: But I had it in my head before I was
- 45:22Speaker 4: singing it, sort of.
- 45:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Moany Moany. Anyway, I got that one wrong. It
- 45:25Speaker 1: was a good question.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 45:27Speaker 4: My brain hurts now.
- 45:28Speaker 1: All right. Should we do it again with another music question? No,
- 45:31Speaker 1: I'm sad about this. Question three. Oh, wait, is it three? Right? Yeah. Okay.
- 45:39Speaker 1: In geometry... The.
- 45:42Speaker 5: Worst.
- 45:44Speaker 1: What's the name for a triangle with two equal sides?
- 45:50Speaker 4: That's an easy one, I think. Isn't it equilateral?
- 45:54Speaker 1: In geometry, what's the name for a triangle with two
- 45:57Speaker 1: equal sides? Equilateral. Final answer?
- 46:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:05Speaker 1: My answer is isosceles. What?
- 46:08Speaker 4: Should I Google that to make sure it's correct?
- 46:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 1: No, if it's an equilateral, all of them are equal, no?
- 46:14Speaker 4: Wait, what did you say?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Two equal sides, right?
- 46:17Speaker 5: Oh.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:18Speaker 4: Oh, it's maybe three equal sides is equilateral, maybe. Oh,
- 46:23Speaker 4: that's a good one too. I thought I had it
- 46:25Speaker 4: right away.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Correct answer. Isosceles.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I'm not winning in the geometry portion.
- 46:30Speaker 1: You know, I did take geometry, geometry in high school
- 46:33Speaker 1: and I can confidently say I, I never skipped class
- 46:36Speaker 1: in high school except for one time. And it was geometry.
- 46:39Speaker 2: That was probably the day you learned about the triangle.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Probably.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Cause I had it at like, I had, there was
- 46:44Speaker 1: nine periods in the day. I had it eighth period,
- 46:47Speaker 1: but I also had early out ninth period sometimes. So
- 46:50Speaker 1: sometimes I would just.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Leave after seventh. Yeah. Extra early leave period?
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah, why not?
- 46:56Speaker 4: Yeah. Look how smart you are now.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I know. Hey, don't make fun of me. At least
- 47:00Speaker 1: I know what an isosceles triangle is.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Did you know this next one?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Oh, I did. You're not going to, though.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Great.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Oh, boy.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Question four.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Twenty. What?
- 47:13Speaker 4: And I have my lifeline.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Music. Music, music. You went to your lifeline already.
- 47:18Speaker 2: That's all right.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Did I?
- 47:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Short-term memory.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Let's see here. Oh, I did.
- 47:25Speaker 4: The first one.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Music. Mike Campbell spent decades. I can't talk. That's a problem.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Mike Campbell spent decades playing alongside one of rock's most
- 47:36Speaker 1: iconic front men. He was the lead guitarist for what band?
- 47:44Speaker 2: This is such a Joel question.
- 47:46Speaker 4: I have no fucking idea.
- 47:47Speaker 1: This is so easy. I don't know band.
- 47:50Speaker 4: Members like you do.
- 47:51Speaker 2: I don't either.
- 47:52Speaker 4: Not everyone's a music nerd like you.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but this is pretty basic. What's his name again?
- 47:57Speaker 4: Mike Simpson?
- 47:58Speaker 1: What was his name?
- 47:58Speaker 2: The Campbell Soup guy?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Mike Campbell. Yeah, he's the one that said that the
- 48:02Speaker 1: meat in your soup is made from a 3D printer.
- 48:05Speaker 4: No, it's the same guy.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Man, he was a lot of talent.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Mike Campbell spent decades... Why can't I say that word?
- 48:13Speaker 1: Mike Campbell spent decades playing alongside one of rock's most
- 48:17Speaker 1: iconic front men.
- 48:19Speaker 4: He was the lead guitarist for what band? I don't
- 48:26Speaker 4: have a lifeline, but I'm going to go to my lifeline.
- 48:28Speaker 4: I'll give you some hints.
- 48:29Speaker 2: You probably should use Joel as your lifeline.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Yeah, use me as your lifeline. I'm going to give
- 48:34Speaker 1: you some hints.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Here we go. Sing it for us.
- 48:37Speaker 1: He spent decades playing alongside one of rock's most iconic frontmen.
- 48:41Speaker 1: That frontman is in the title of the band. His
- 48:46Speaker 1: name in the blank. Dude, I have no idea. Oh,
- 48:54Speaker 1: my God. You need to go watch the history of
- 48:57Speaker 1: rock and roll. I tell you.
- 48:58Speaker 4: What's the answer?
- 48:59Speaker 1: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Oh, God.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Yeah, right. There are other bands like that, though, aren't there?
- 49:05Speaker 1: Yeah, sure. But that should have at least given you
- 49:07Speaker 1: a hint somewhere to start with.
- 49:09Speaker 5: No.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Can we go back to the Crayola crayons?
- 49:12Speaker 4: Yeah, those are easier. Still got it wrong, but.
- 49:16Speaker 1: gotta go look for a flesh colored crayon.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Those colors of the world. I bet there's one in there.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Wow.
- 49:24Speaker 4: I would say good job, but it was not a
- 49:26Speaker 4: good job.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Okay. You didn't do very well either. Did better than you.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I know it's time for.
- 49:36Speaker 4: We were talking about getting an intern. Andy, can we
- 49:40Speaker 4: have an intern?
- 49:41Speaker 2: I think you can have an intern. Yeah, you have
- 49:42Speaker 2: to pay them.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Oh, never mind.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Yeah, there's like those rules and laws now.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Can we pay them in knowledge and experience?
- 49:50Speaker 5: No, that's what we used to pay them with and
- 49:51Speaker 5: that was apparently illegal now. You have to give them
- 49:54Speaker 5: cash money.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Huh.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:56Speaker 1: No, think about it.
- 49:57Speaker 2: So you got to get that sponsor first so you
- 49:59Speaker 2: can pay for your intern.
- 50:01Speaker 4: She's not wrong.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:02Speaker 1: All right.
- 50:03Speaker 2: So I've passed by these.
- 50:04Speaker 5: Chips and Joel, you're probably going to hate it because
- 50:06Speaker 5: it's kettle chips.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I like kettle chips. Oh, do you?
- 50:09Speaker 2: Okay. So I've passed by these voodoo chips a lot.
- 50:12Speaker 4: I've seen those too. I like the packaging.
- 50:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Pretty dope.
- 50:15Speaker 2: But I've never had that.
- 50:17Speaker 4: What's a voodoo chip? Is it just colored, colored kettle chips?
- 50:20Speaker 5: It's New Orleans style voodoo chips is all it says.
- 50:24Speaker 5: I don't think they're colored at all.
- 50:25Speaker 4: And what brand is it?
- 50:26Speaker 1: Zappos?
- 50:27Speaker 2: Zappos?
- 50:28Speaker 4: I've never bought a bag of Zappos. I've seen them
- 50:31Speaker 4: in the store all the time.
- 50:32Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 50:36Speaker 4: And they're voodoo ones, huh?
- 50:37Speaker 1: They are.
- 50:38Speaker 2: They also have Big Cheesy. It was buy one, get
- 50:41Speaker 2: one free. So I brought this one too. So here, Becker,
- 50:43Speaker 2: I'll hand you this one.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll start with these.
- 50:45Speaker 2: The Big Cheesy.
- 50:46Speaker 1: All right.
- 50:47Speaker 4: Thank you very much.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Are they good? I'm a fan. Really?
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Let's see.
- 50:51Speaker 4: New Orleans kettle style Big Cheesy. I'm going to take
- 50:55Speaker 4: these home, I can tell. Or stop some. Yeah, sometimes
- 50:59Speaker 4: we get snacks on this show and then I drive
- 51:01Speaker 4: on my way home and I stop at a gas station.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Actually, these are really good.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 4: I mean, you can't go wrong with kettle chips, you know?
- 51:10Speaker 2: Those are really good. They remind me of the all
- 51:12Speaker 2: dressed up chips.
- 51:14Speaker 4: All dressed chips are so good.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Ruggles had them around here for a while and I
- 51:19Speaker 4: can't find them anymore.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Lay's makes them. Ellie eats bags of them. It's probably
- 51:23Speaker 2: bad parenting, but.
- 51:24Speaker 4: These are very good.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Try some Big Cheesy. We love when the guests bring snacks.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Thanks for these very much.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Hey, you're welcome. I've walked by them a lot, so
- 51:32Speaker 2: I feel like we should try them. They just looked cool.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Wow. Impressive. Right? Zaps. I wonder where these are made.
- 51:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 51:46Speaker 4: It says New Orleans style, does it? Oh, no, it's
- 51:48Speaker 4: just that one that's New Orleans style.
- 51:49Speaker 2: They're made by Utz. Oh, really? In Hanover, PA. Oh.
- 51:54Speaker 4: A local chip.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Did you ever do the tour of the factory? Mm-mm.
- 51:58Speaker 1: We should do that.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I think we've talked about it before. I remember my
- 52:01Speaker 1: parents taking me years ago. Oh, my God. I was
- 52:03Speaker 1: so little. And you do the tour of the chip factory,
- 52:07Speaker 1: and then they give you potato chips right off the line.
- 52:10Speaker 2: I don't remember if that's.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Like warm, hot potato chips. Oh, my God. Incredible. I
- 52:15Speaker 1: don't remember, though, if that was the Oats factory or
- 52:19Speaker 1: the Herz factory. It might have been the Herz factory. Yeah.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Thank you, Mandy, for bringing the snack.
- 52:24Speaker 2: You're welcome. I'm glad these turned out to be good chips.
- 52:27Speaker 4: So this is episode 66. So how do you feel
- 52:29Speaker 4: the show is going as a fan? Episode 66.
- 52:32Speaker 2: I love the show.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 2: It makes me laugh.
- 52:35Speaker 5: It honestly, it takes me, we're so surrounded with music
- 52:38Speaker 5: and radio. So for me, it's like a nice break
- 52:40Speaker 5: and escape, laugh, learn something.
- 52:43Speaker 4: What I've learned is that people love the length of
- 52:45Speaker 4: our show. We're just enough. You know what I mean?
- 52:48Speaker 4: It's just like 45 to 55 minutes.
- 52:50Speaker 1: For the first time ever, somebody tells me they like
- 52:52Speaker 1: my length. Great. It only took 28 years.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Take every win, man.
- 52:58Speaker 2: There it is.
- 52:59Speaker 4: Even the small ones.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Even on your off day.
- 53:04Speaker 1: All right.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Eat those chips. That was episode 66. Mandy, thanks so
- 53:08Speaker 4: much for being here.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Thanks for having me.
- 53:09Speaker 4: We'll do it again next week on episode 67. Oh, six, seven.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Oh, six, seven. Oh, Mandy's not coming back.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Bye.
- 53:20Speaker 5: Bye.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Inside the number. That was the wrong one.
- 53:23Speaker 4: That's the wrong show. It's a different show. That's just
- 53:28Speaker 4: a plug for them.
- 53:28Speaker 1: All right.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Bye.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Okay, bye.
