Mega Edition: The Many Avenues Epstein Traveled To Hide His Money (10/14/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: To jump right back into the finson files and we're
• 0:03
Speaker 1: going to talk about what european lawmakers think about the
• 0:08
Speaker 1: finson dumps and what their plans are to fix it
• 0:13
Speaker 1: as you all know by now it is a big
• 0:15
Speaker 1: problem money laundering not just in the united states of
• 0:18
Speaker 1: america but everywhere in the developed and the undeveloped world
• 0:23
Speaker 1: all of these sick ass so-called members of polite society
• 0:28
Speaker 1: are busy raiding and pillaging and raping it would seem
• 0:33
Speaker 1: and we just sit back and take it because our
• 0:36
Speaker 1: legacy media is way too busy trying to get you
• 0:39
Speaker 1: to hate each other than to actually inform you about
• 0:43
Speaker 1: things that truly affect your lives isn't that nice? isn't
• 0:46
Speaker 1: that such a great job by them? so every time
• 0:49
Speaker 1: you're paying for that New York Times subscription or that
• 0:52
Speaker 1: Washington Post subscription to get to the propaganda behind their
• 0:56
Speaker 1: paywalls remember who you're dealing with These people in the
• 1:01
Speaker 1: legacy media have done such a shitty job that there
• 1:06
Speaker 1: should be repercussions for them. Instead of informing us about
• 1:13
Speaker 1: serious situations and breaking it down with great exposes and,
• 1:19
Speaker 1: you know, programs that span five episodes, we get a
• 1:22
Speaker 1: blip about stuff like this in the mainstream media, right?
• 1:26
Speaker 1: They don't want to get into these details. They don't
• 1:28
Speaker 1: want to talk about this stuff. Because their bosses are
• 1:31
Speaker 1: part of it. What's all the legacy media. The main
• 1:37
Speaker 1: media is owned by what? Like five or six companies.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: And you really think. That the people that are in
• 1:44
Speaker 1: charge of these companies. The people sitting in these boardrooms.
• 1:48
Speaker 1: Aren't taking advantage. Of the offshore system. That has been
• 1:52
Speaker 1: put in place by Congress. Hell yeah they have. So
• 1:55
Speaker 1: why would they report on it? And why would they
• 1:57
Speaker 1: want you to even have any idea. What is going on? Well,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: like I said previously, the biggest mistake they ever made
• 2:05
Speaker 1: was locking us all in our homes for six months
• 2:09
Speaker 1: because boy, oh boy, has there been some time for
• 2:12
Speaker 1: some deep dives. And what they uncovered here in the
• 2:16
Speaker 1: FinCEN files is mind-blowing, folks. And it is a huge,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: huge deal as far as what we talk about on
• 2:24
Speaker 1: a regular basis. I cannot stress this enough. You all
• 2:28
Speaker 1: know that I rarely talk about anything on this podcast
• 2:31
Speaker 1: besides Jeffrey Epstein or that case. And this should show
• 2:37
Speaker 1: you how much I think that these Fincenfile drops are
• 2:41
Speaker 1: relevant to the case we're talking about. Because at the
• 2:44
Speaker 1: end of the day, all of these people that we're discussing,
• 2:47
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Jess Staley, Glenn Dubin, Jean-Luc Brunel, etc., etc.,
• 2:53
Speaker 1: were all involved with shell companies. They were all involved.
• 2:57
Speaker 1: in financial crimes. And unless we have the context to
• 3:01
Speaker 1: see the whole entire picture, unless we can build the
• 3:04
Speaker 1: whole entire model, then we're not going to know what
• 3:09
Speaker 1: the end result will be, right? And to do that,
• 3:12
Speaker 1: we have to explore every chamber that is open to
• 3:18
Speaker 1: us when it comes to this case. And these FinCEN
• 3:21
Speaker 1: files and how these banksters have been able to manipulate
• 3:27
Speaker 1: these systems to continue these criminal enterprises is so disgusting
• 3:34
Speaker 1: and gross to me that I can't even put it
• 3:36
Speaker 1: into words how angry it makes me. These people have
• 3:41
Speaker 1: been doing this since the banking system has been created, folks.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: Since Jesus walked into the church or the temple, I mean.
• 3:49
Speaker 1: And overturned the table of the lenders. That's how long
• 3:54
Speaker 1: these banksters have been at it. And even before then.
• 3:57
Speaker 1: I'm sure all the way back in ancient Babylon and Sumeria.
• 4:01
Speaker 1: You had banksters that were manipulating and taking advantage of
• 4:04
Speaker 1: the system and the people. And for all the millennia
• 4:10
Speaker 1: that we've been around. In civilization, etc, etc. It's been
• 4:14
Speaker 1: the same story. Well, people are starting to wake up now.
• 4:19
Speaker 1: And with the FinCEN file drop, the Panama Papers before it,
• 4:22
Speaker 1: and when you apply it to the stories of the
• 4:26
Speaker 1: day when we're talking about situations like Epstein or any
• 4:29
Speaker 1: of these other international so-called members of polite society, well,
• 4:34
Speaker 1: it always comes back to one place, folks. And that
• 4:38
Speaker 1: is to the financial system. So today we're going to
• 4:42
Speaker 1: jump into this article from BuzzFeed. And it's a headline,
• 4:47
Speaker 1: European lawmakers are looking for new ways to fight money
• 4:50
Speaker 1: laundering in the wake of the FinCEN files investigation. The
• 4:55
Speaker 1: author of this article is Richard Holmes. And look, Europe
• 5:00
Speaker 1: is a hotspot for this, right? We talked about how
• 5:02
Speaker 1: London is huge when it comes to these shell companies
• 5:05
Speaker 1: and these LLCs and et cetera, et cetera. So the
• 5:09
Speaker 1: European lawmakers for sure are going to try and regulate this.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: There's no doubt in my mind. You know, the European
• 5:15
Speaker 1: lawmakers have never met a regulation that they haven't liked.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: But in this case, this might actually help. So I'm
• 5:22
Speaker 1: really interested to see which way they go here and
• 5:25
Speaker 1: to see how it compares to what the congressmen in
• 5:30
Speaker 1: America and the senators in America decide to do about this,
• 5:34
Speaker 1: because it's a worldwide problem, intercontinental problem. And all of
• 5:38
Speaker 1: these people are tied in together. Lawmakers called for a
• 5:43
Speaker 1: unified approach after revelations put a spotlight on European banks.
• 5:48
Speaker 1: Current efforts are like a Swiss cheese full of holes. Yeah, look,
• 5:52
Speaker 1: the European Union, I'm sure that there are all kinds
• 5:57
Speaker 1: of back channels, loopholes, etc., etc., the same way there
• 6:01
Speaker 1: are here in the United States. I'm not as hip
• 6:03
Speaker 1: to what goes on in the European Union as a whole.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: I've never really... got into the weeds and the nuts
• 6:10
Speaker 1: and bolts about it. But I do know that in London,
• 6:14
Speaker 1: for sure, there is some seriously, seriously bad financial crimes
• 6:20
Speaker 1: happening on a daily basis. Powerful European lawmakers are calling
• 6:27
Speaker 1: for significant reforms to anti-money laundering controls across the continent
• 6:32
Speaker 1: in reaction to the scandal of the FinCEN files. a
• 6:35
Speaker 1: global investigation from BuzzFeed News and the International Consortium of
• 6:40
Speaker 1: Investigative Journalists. Look, at the end of the day, these
• 6:45
Speaker 1: European lawmakers understand that the people in Europe are not
• 6:50
Speaker 1: going to be too happy about this shit either, right?
• 6:54
Speaker 1: The people of Europe don't want to be stolen from.
• 6:56
Speaker 1: They don't want their wealth ganked. They don't want their
• 6:58
Speaker 1: futures taken and they don't want the predatory loans either.
• 7:03
Speaker 1: Pretty sure everybody around the world, no matter where you go,
• 7:06
Speaker 1: is just looking to have a bit of happiness in
• 7:08
Speaker 1: their life and maybe a fair shake every now and then.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: But yet you have all of these people that consistently
• 7:15
Speaker 1: on a regular basis with everything they do. Work against that.
• 7:20
Speaker 1: Because guess what, folks? If you and I have to
• 7:23
Speaker 1: struggle every day of our lives, if we have to
• 7:25
Speaker 1: worry about how our bills are being paid, how we're
• 7:27
Speaker 1: paying for our health care, how we're going to take
• 7:30
Speaker 1: care of our families, then how are we ever going
• 7:32
Speaker 1: to have time to focus on what these sons of
• 7:35
Speaker 1: bitches are doing? We won't, right? And that's the plan.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: And that is how that is the cycle that we
• 7:42
Speaker 1: have been caught up in as a civilization forever. And
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't have the answers on how
• 7:48
Speaker 1: to break free away from the fiduciary banking system, but
• 7:51
Speaker 1: I will tell you this, they are the enemy and
• 7:54
Speaker 1: straight up evil. The investigation revealed how the giants of
• 8:00
Speaker 1: Western banking moved trillions of dollars in suspicious transactions, enriching
• 8:05
Speaker 1: themselves and their shareholders while facilitating the actions of terrorists, kleptocrats,
• 8:11
Speaker 1: and drug kingpins. The documents have spotlighted suspicious transactions involving
• 8:16
Speaker 1: a number of Europe's largest banks, including HSBC, Deutsche Bank
• 8:21
Speaker 1: and Commerce Bank. And again, how many times are we
• 8:26
Speaker 1: going to hear Deutsche Bank be brought up into the conversation?
• 8:30
Speaker 1: Are there ever going to be real penalties for these people?
• 8:33
Speaker 1: Are there ever going to be penalties for the people
• 8:35
Speaker 1: that work at these companies? Or are we just going
• 8:38
Speaker 1: to keep fining the companies, the entities, and giving them
• 8:41
Speaker 1: a little slap on the shoulder for $ 150 million? I
• 8:45
Speaker 1: know that sounds like a lot of money for us,
• 8:46
Speaker 1: and it is a lot of money, no doubt about it.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: But for these people, forget it. That's nothing. That's a
• 8:51
Speaker 1: half a day of swaps. So you can't penalize these
• 8:57
Speaker 1: people monetarily. It has to be truly sanctions. They have
• 9:01
Speaker 1: to go to jail. There has to be prosecutions, whatever
• 9:04
Speaker 1: it may be. But it cannot happen. just be monetary penalties, folks.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: That is not enough of a deterrent. During a session
• 9:13
Speaker 1: Thursday of the European Parliament in Brussels, lawmakers debated how
• 9:17
Speaker 1: to better combat money laundering. Dubrovka Svika, vice president of
• 9:22
Speaker 1: the European Commission for Democracy and Demography, said countries in
• 9:27
Speaker 1: the European Union are not up to the task of
• 9:30
Speaker 1: addressing global networks of money laundering and by acting alone
• 9:34
Speaker 1: and must join forces to make the system less open
• 9:37
Speaker 1: to abuse. Yeah, I would think that the European Union
• 9:40
Speaker 1: being a union, that they'd have, they would be, you know,
• 9:44
Speaker 1: together on this and get everything tightened up. But again,
• 9:47
Speaker 1: I'm sure that there's all kinds of political infighting going on,
• 9:52
Speaker 1: struggles we don't even know about, you know, lawmakers who
• 9:55
Speaker 1: are against it because they're enriching themselves. The same story
• 9:59
Speaker 1: that plays out in a I'm sure and that's what
• 10:03
Speaker 1: happens when you deal with people right how many times
• 10:05
Speaker 1: do we talk about it here on this podcast there's
• 10:07
Speaker 1: no good guys there's only great characters human beings are
• 10:11
Speaker 1: capable of great good there is no doubt about it
• 10:14
Speaker 1: and there are good people in the world no doubt
• 10:17
Speaker 1: but those same good people are can become bad if
• 10:20
Speaker 1: you put a sword in their hand. You understand? Circumstances,
• 10:25
Speaker 1: my friends. And with people like this, they're going to
• 10:30
Speaker 1: try to enrich themselves. You know that there's going to
• 10:32
Speaker 1: be people trying to enrich themselves, and there are. We've
• 10:35
Speaker 1: seen it here in America. How many politicians in America
• 10:38
Speaker 1: have went into office with their net worth being a
• 10:42
Speaker 1: few hundred grand, and then they leave and they're worth millions?
• 10:44
Speaker 1: How is that even possible on your salary? And nobody
• 10:47
Speaker 1: questions it. Nobody gets agitated about it. Nobody calls them
• 10:51
Speaker 1: out on it. And I am sure the same exact
• 10:53
Speaker 1: thing is going on in Europe. The FinCEN files illustrate
• 10:58
Speaker 1: the vast scale of the problem, Suika said. The European
• 11:03
Speaker 1: Union has to act decisively and collectively with the European
• 11:07
Speaker 1: approach to supervision. So, in layman's terms, that means get
• 11:12
Speaker 1: ready for a regulation party. Europe loves to drop regulations
• 11:16
Speaker 1: on business and banks, etc., etc. So I would expect
• 11:20
Speaker 1: that there's going to be some heavy regulating coming in
• 11:23
Speaker 1: the future for European banks as a direct result of
• 11:28
Speaker 1: the FinCEN files and what they have brought to light.
• 11:31
Speaker 1: Because these European regulators, they have no qualms with the regulations, folks.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: They really love them. You know, they... They go a
• 11:40
Speaker 1: bit overboard, in my opinion, with the regulations. But again,
• 11:43
Speaker 1: I'm not a citizen there and my opinion ain't worth shit, right?
• 11:48
Speaker 1: Several members of parliament called for a centralized and uniform
• 11:51
Speaker 1: European framework to tackle money laundering. Well, that would be
• 11:54
Speaker 1: pretty interesting. It would kind of be like a FinCEN database.
• 11:58
Speaker 1: I wonder how they would put that into effect and
• 12:00
Speaker 1: what would go into it and who would be in
• 12:02
Speaker 1: charge of it. There's a lot of details that obviously
• 12:05
Speaker 1: will have to be worked out within the European Union
• 12:07
Speaker 1: in Brussels. And there will definitely be some going back
• 12:11
Speaker 1: and forth over that. We'll keep an eye on it
• 12:14
Speaker 1: and we'll see how it progresses and we will see
• 12:16
Speaker 1: what they come up with. Iro Hanaloma, treasurer for the
• 12:22
Speaker 1: Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament,
• 12:26
Speaker 1: said current anti-money laundering efforts are like a Swiss cheese
• 12:30
Speaker 1: full of holes and called for a uniform regulatory framework. Yeah, well,
• 12:35
Speaker 1: who can disagree with that? I mean, who cares what
• 12:37
Speaker 1: your politics are? The guy has a good idea, right? See,
• 12:40
Speaker 1: that's the point I'm at now with politics. If an
• 12:42
Speaker 1: idea is good, I don't care what party you're with
• 12:45
Speaker 1: or any of that shit. At the end of the day,
• 12:48
Speaker 1: I'm looking for my life to be just a little
• 12:50
Speaker 1: bit better. And if your policies can make my life
• 12:53
Speaker 1: a little bit better, then you can guarantee that I'm
• 12:56
Speaker 1: going to be thinking about voting for you. Besides that,
• 13:00
Speaker 1: I don't even what is the what is the what
• 13:03
Speaker 1: are the political political parties even stand for anymore? Nobody knows.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: They don't have platforms. All they are are hit jobs
• 13:09
Speaker 1: about the other side, blaming the other side, nobody ever
• 13:12
Speaker 1: taking responsibility, no one ever picking up the ball and
• 13:15
Speaker 1: moving it forward. And we just stay stuck in neutral.
• 13:20
Speaker 1: Despite these alarms, banks still often execute these transactions. And again,
• 13:25
Speaker 1: it's thanks to the great work of journalists that the
• 13:27
Speaker 1: scandal is revealed, he said. It demonstrates once again that
• 13:31
Speaker 1: the existing money laundering system simply does not work. He's
• 13:36
Speaker 1: 100% right. And about both of those, by the way.
• 13:40
Speaker 1: You know, I'm very hard on a lot of these
• 13:44
Speaker 1: legacy media outlets, right? And the reporters that work for them. But...
• 13:49
Speaker 1: when it comes to stuff like this, anyone who isn't
• 13:52
Speaker 1: impressed by the work done by these investigative journalists is
• 13:57
Speaker 1: probably carrying some sort of grudge or has some kind
• 14:00
Speaker 1: of political beef or whatever it may be. But when
• 14:04
Speaker 1: you look at the work that was done here and
• 14:06
Speaker 1: you look at the files that were brought together and
• 14:09
Speaker 1: were released to the public and you see what good
• 14:14
Speaker 1: investigative journalists can do when they have a mind to
• 14:17
Speaker 1: actually do work, well, this is the result. When are
• 14:22
Speaker 1: we going to have 88 journalists or 400 journalists come
• 14:25
Speaker 1: together and dig into the Jeffrey Epstein case? Because my
• 14:29
Speaker 1: friends at the Consortium of Journalists and at BuzzFeed and
• 14:33
Speaker 1: all these other places, I guarantee you there is more
• 14:37
Speaker 1: of a story here than anybody has ever put out.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: Sven Geigold, the economic and financial policy spokesperson for the
• 14:48
Speaker 1: Greens European Free Alliance in the European Parliament, echoed his
• 14:52
Speaker 1: parliamentary peer and slammed Europe's current anti-money laundering measures, adding
• 14:58
Speaker 1: that a centralized system is needed. I would think so.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: With all of the states in the European Union, there
• 15:04
Speaker 1: has to be some sort of centralized database, right? Or
• 15:07
Speaker 1: how are you going to regulate this? If you don't
• 15:09
Speaker 1: have it centralized and it's each country, you're relying on
• 15:13
Speaker 1: compliance officers from each country to get together and work
• 15:16
Speaker 1: together to yank the suspicious activity. I don't really understand
• 15:21
Speaker 1: how it even works over there right now. In America,
• 15:24
Speaker 1: it's a shit show, but they have that database at
• 15:26
Speaker 1: the very least, right? So over in Europe, I think
• 15:29
Speaker 1: a centralized system is probably the best bet for them
• 15:32
Speaker 1: to try and combat this. But at the end of
• 15:35
Speaker 1: the day, no matter what system you have in place...
• 15:38
Speaker 1: It's all about the penalties. If you have the proper
• 15:41
Speaker 1: penalties for these people that are gaming the system, these
• 15:44
Speaker 1: people that are robbing us blind, well, you put some
• 15:47
Speaker 1: of these people in prison for the rest of their lives,
• 15:50
Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's going to curb a lot of
• 15:52
Speaker 1: the shitty activity. The Commission has observed, without acting like
• 15:57
Speaker 1: a money laundering authority, he said, just last week, the
• 16:01
Speaker 1: European Council on Foreign Relations said, said that in light
• 16:04
Speaker 1: of the FinCEN files, European countries should think carefully about
• 16:08
Speaker 1: reforming anti-money laundering frameworks. The Council on Foreign Relations, no
• 16:13
Speaker 1: matter where they're located, not probably the group of people
• 16:16
Speaker 1: I'd be taking advice from. Another group of people who
• 16:20
Speaker 1: are part of so-called polite society, Jeffrey Epstein was part
• 16:23
Speaker 1: of it, donated money to it, etc., etc. Anytime I
• 16:27
Speaker 1: see the CFR, the Council of Foreign Relations, or anything
• 16:31
Speaker 1: related to it, I... am skeptical, and I do not
• 16:35
Speaker 1: trust them. They should recognize that they have no more
• 16:40
Speaker 1: success by forming partnerships with financial giants on financial regulation
• 16:45
Speaker 1: than they would by forming partnerships with energy giants on
• 16:48
Speaker 1: climate policy, the European think tank said. Well, look, I
• 16:52
Speaker 1: agree with that, right? A broken clock's even right twice,
• 16:55
Speaker 1: two times a day. And as far as the CFR
• 16:59
Speaker 1: and my dislike and utter hatred for them, really. They're
• 17:04
Speaker 1: not wrong about this. You can't go into business with
• 17:08
Speaker 1: the banks and expect them to regulate themselves no more
• 17:11
Speaker 1: than you can expect Chevron, BP, or Exxon to do
• 17:15
Speaker 1: the right thing if there's no regulation and oversight over them.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: When you're dealing with this amount of money, you're dealing
• 17:23
Speaker 1: with a lot of people who are unscrupulous, who do
• 17:27
Speaker 1: not have any problem not playing by the rules. And
• 17:33
Speaker 1: these are the people that are in charge of our
• 17:36
Speaker 1: financial system. These are the people that continue to prey
• 17:40
Speaker 1: on the most vulnerable financially amongst us. And yet nobody
• 17:49
Speaker 1: in the legacy media has really dug in, has really
• 17:55
Speaker 1: done the right thing and done a huge expose on
• 17:59
Speaker 1: these people. Instead, we continue to allow them to steal,
• 18:04
Speaker 1: we continue to allow them to cheat, and we continue
• 18:09
Speaker 1: to allow them to keep the rest of us under
• 18:12
Speaker 1: their thumb. My question to all of you out there is,
• 18:17
Speaker 1: how much longer are we going to accept that? If
• 18:21

Speaker 1: the links that go with this episode can be found
• 18:40
Speaker 1: in the description box. The bombshell, that is the Thinson
• 18:44
Speaker 1: files dropped, and it really gave us a look into
• 18:48
Speaker 1: what these banksters are really up to. Now, we all
• 18:53
Speaker 1: know from following this case that at the very least,
• 18:58
Speaker 1: These banksters who were involved with Jeffrey Epstein are corrupt.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: And then when you take a look at the FinCEN files,
• 19:07
Speaker 1: and you understand that what we see here in the
• 19:09
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein case is happening across the board with the
• 19:14
Speaker 1: scummiest people in the world, you start to understand just
• 19:18
Speaker 1: how Jeffrey Epstein, his bipedal serpent friend Ghislaine, and the
• 19:24
Speaker 1: rest of the trafficking operation was able to conduct business
• 19:29
Speaker 1: and move funds through these banks. And tonight we have
• 19:35
Speaker 1: another article that has to do with the FinCEN files.
• 19:39
Speaker 1: And now if you remember, it was the International Consortium
• 19:42
Speaker 1: of Investigative Journalists and BuzzFeed who worked to get these dropped.
• 19:48
Speaker 1: So our article tonight is from the international consortium of
• 19:53
Speaker 1: investigative journalists and the headline is dirty money has metastasized
• 19:59
Speaker 1: within the global banking system a top regulator says the
• 20:04
Speaker 1: author of this article is michael hudson New York's top
• 20:11
Speaker 1: financial regulator says banks and governments have allowed money laundering
• 20:16
Speaker 1: to metastasize inside the banking system and wrap itself within
• 20:20
Speaker 1: the guts of financial institutions. Well, there you go, folks.
• 20:24
Speaker 1: It's not just me telling you that, okay? It's not just,
• 20:27
Speaker 1: you know, your average bearded moron who happens to be
• 20:31
Speaker 1: me yelling and screaming about this. The top financial regulator
• 20:36
Speaker 1: in New York has said... that money laundering has metastasized
• 20:42
Speaker 1: inside the banking system and it's wrapped itself within the
• 20:45
Speaker 1: guts of the financial institutions. Okay, so what he's saying
• 20:48
Speaker 1: here is, let me give you an interpretation, a translation.
• 20:52
Speaker 1: What he's saying here is, it is the lifeblood of
• 20:55
Speaker 1: the banking system. And we all know it's the truth, right?
• 20:59
Speaker 1: We all know it's the truth. Every single time we
• 21:03
Speaker 1: turn around, we see more leaks like the FinCEN files.
• 21:09
Speaker 1: Or the Panama Papers that expose these people for what
• 21:12
Speaker 1: they truly are. And yet people still don't want to
• 21:16
Speaker 1: face the music. People still don't want to turn their
• 21:20
Speaker 1: ire where it should be directed. In an opinion piece
• 21:28
Speaker 1: released days after the Finns and Files investigation revealed sweeping
• 21:32
Speaker 1: failures by global banks to stop illicit money flows, Linda A. Lacewell,
• 21:37
Speaker 1: the superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services,
• 21:41
Speaker 1: acknowledged that insiders have long known that the financial system
• 21:45
Speaker 1: is awash with trillions of dollars in dirty money. Yeah,
• 21:50
Speaker 1: that's no shit. I know that my friends that work
• 21:53
Speaker 1: in the financial sector... Talk about it all the time.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: This is not something that is... New to us. New
• 22:02
Speaker 1: information to us. But what's going on now... Is it's
• 22:05
Speaker 1: being exposed. It's no longer just somebody on a radio show...
• 22:09
Speaker 1: Telling you about it. Now, it's tangible. You can go
• 22:13
Speaker 1: and look at it for yourself. You can see... What
• 22:16
Speaker 1: these investigative journalists have uncovered. And then you can make
• 22:22
Speaker 1: the decision for yourself. But me personally... My mind is
• 22:26
Speaker 1: made up. I don't need to see anymore. I've seen
• 22:28
Speaker 1: the way these banksters feel about us. I've seen the
• 22:31
Speaker 1: way they operate. And I've seen the destruction they leave
• 22:36
Speaker 1: in their wake. And I, for one, am sick and
• 22:39
Speaker 1: tired of being a slave to the fiduciary banking system.
• 22:48
Speaker 1: Efforts in the United States and other countries to prevent
• 22:51
Speaker 1: banks from waiving through illicit funds... largely rely on a
• 22:55
Speaker 1: system of self-reporting. Financial firms are required to file suspicious
• 23:00
Speaker 1: activity reports whenever they spot transactions that may be linked
• 23:04
Speaker 1: to criminal conduct. Now, again, do you really think that
• 23:10
Speaker 1: a guy like, say, Jess Staley is going to SAR
• 23:14
Speaker 1: a Jeffrey Epstein transaction that he's involved with? Do you
• 23:18
Speaker 1: really think that these high-profile people such as Jess Staley
• 23:23
Speaker 1: Or insert any other scumbag banker here. Can't ham hand
• 23:28
Speaker 1: the auditing department. I know when I worked at a
• 23:32
Speaker 1: sportsbook and we dealt with SARS. A lot of times
• 23:36
Speaker 1: it was a ticket writer who was relied on to
• 23:39
Speaker 1: let us know if it was suspicious or not. And
• 23:42
Speaker 1: these guys are making 10, 11 bucks an hour, right?
• 23:45
Speaker 1: They're not trained to spot this stuff. And I'm sure
• 23:48
Speaker 1: a lot of stuff slid by. But if you think
• 23:53
Speaker 1: that that's not happening in these banking institutions, if you
• 23:56
Speaker 1: think that pressure isn't being put on certain people in
• 24:00
Speaker 1: auditing or that they don't have somebody in auditing that
• 24:02
Speaker 1: they know they can slide this shit through, then I
• 24:05
Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you, folks. And I would
• 24:07
Speaker 1: not be shocked if these investigations are real and if
• 24:11
Speaker 1: they're as vast as they tell us they are if
• 24:14
Speaker 1: they don't get to the bottom of all of that.
• 24:19
Speaker 1: But these reports, known in shorthand as SARS, have become
• 24:22
Speaker 1: a free pass for banks, Lacewell wrote in the op-ed
• 24:26
Speaker 1: published in Law360, a legal industry news publication. And I
• 24:31
Speaker 1: think we'll read that op-ed as well, maybe tomorrow. The
• 24:36
Speaker 1: International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, BuzzFeed News, and other FinCEN
• 24:42
Speaker 1: Files reporting partners found that big banks often okayed transfers
• 24:46
Speaker 1: of suspicious money but didn't report these transactions to regulators
• 24:50
Speaker 1: until months or years later after the money was long
• 24:55
Speaker 1: gone because they wanted their cut. What did Gordon Gekko
• 25:00
Speaker 1: from Wall Street tell us, right? Greed is good. And
• 25:05
Speaker 1: when I look at Wall Street and I look at
• 25:07
Speaker 1: the disgusting people who inhabit it for the most part,
• 25:10
Speaker 1: I'm talking about on high. These people all remind me
• 25:15
Speaker 1: of Gordon Gekko. It's all about more money, more power,
• 25:20
Speaker 1: the consolidation of that power. And they get drunk on it.
• 25:25
Speaker 1: And then before you know it, they can't have a
• 25:27
Speaker 1: good time the way you or I have a good time.
• 25:30
Speaker 1: So they have to move into dirtier, disgusting, more devious shit.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: Like visiting Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch. Or going to the island.
• 25:40
Speaker 1: These people are absolutely corrupted by money. And the banking
• 25:43
Speaker 1: system is the lifeblood for how these people are able
• 25:48
Speaker 1: to operate. And not only operate. But really operate. really
• 25:56
Speaker 1: profit from it. I think that this set of articles,
• 26:01
Speaker 1: I think what this set of articles did is put
• 26:02
Speaker 1: a spotlight on, is this system working? Lacewell said in
• 26:06
Speaker 1: an interview on Wednesday with ICIJ, when you create something like, well,
• 26:11
Speaker 1: here's a form or document you must fill out under
• 26:14
Speaker 1: certain conditions. That can almost generate a false sense of security.
• 26:17
Speaker 1: That I've done what I need to do. And everything
• 26:19
Speaker 1: is fine. And that's part of it. Oh my God.
• 26:22
Speaker 1: It's so easy to see. It is so easy to see.
• 26:26
Speaker 1: The whole system was set up just like this. So
• 26:30
Speaker 1: they can manipulate it. Just like this. How do you
• 26:33
Speaker 1: think they run their black wars? How do you think
• 26:35
Speaker 1: they run these operations that are off the books? Where
• 26:38
Speaker 1: they're torturing people and murdering people. And God knows what else.
• 26:43
Speaker 1: What do you think? Joe Blow's CIA agents going down
• 26:46
Speaker 1: to the local Wells Fargo and making a transaction? It
• 26:52
Speaker 1: is so disgusting what is going on here. And then
• 26:56
Speaker 1: they set this system up where they have the SARS
• 26:59
Speaker 1: and it gives them the cover. Oh, well, we had
• 27:01
Speaker 1: the system in place. And on and on it goes, right?
• 27:06
Speaker 1: The waves keep crashing. The big fish eats the little fish.
• 27:12
Speaker 1: And somehow, these banksters keep on swimming. Because many big
• 27:19
Speaker 1: banks process global transactions through their offices and accounts in Manhattan,
• 27:23
Speaker 1: Lacewell State Agency plays a big role in overseeing their
• 27:26
Speaker 1: operations and making sure they are working to combat money laundering. Well, Lacewell,
• 27:32
Speaker 1: we're going to need to do a better job there, ma'am.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: I appreciate that you're speaking out at least here. I
• 27:39
Speaker 1: appreciate that you're taking an interview. But... I think that
• 27:44
Speaker 1: it is very obvious that there is a serious problem
• 27:49
Speaker 1: going on here. And it's not just one banking institution
• 27:52
Speaker 1: or two. That would be what you would expect, right?
• 27:56
Speaker 1: There's always a few bad apples, no matter what the
• 27:58
Speaker 1: situation is. But when you take a look at this,
• 28:02
Speaker 1: it's just about every major institution and probably every major institution.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: Because the laws are put on the books for these
• 28:11
Speaker 1: people to be able to navigate those loopholes. It is
• 28:14
Speaker 1: no different than what Alan Dershowitz does in a courtroom.
• 28:19
Speaker 1: These people just do it in the boardroom. In July,
• 28:26
Speaker 1: for example, the agency forced Deutsche Bank to pay $ 150
• 28:31
Speaker 1: million in penalties related to its banking relationships with convicted
• 28:36
Speaker 1: sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein and with two foreign banks involved
• 28:40
Speaker 1: in money laundering scandals. And so what, though? At the
• 28:43
Speaker 1: end of the day, right, the money means nothing to
• 28:45
Speaker 1: Deutsche Bank. $ 150 million? Please. That is a drop in
• 28:50
Speaker 1: the bucket to these banksters. So the money penalties mean nothing.
• 28:55
Speaker 1: Criminal penalties must come down to executives. It is the
• 28:59
Speaker 1: only way. If you managed Jeffrey Epstein's account and you
• 29:03
Speaker 1: helped him park money in places where it wasn't going
• 29:07
Speaker 1: to be taxed and it was going to be washed,
• 29:09
Speaker 1: you should be held accountable. The institution should also be
• 29:13
Speaker 1: held accountable. Lacewell told ICIJ that many banks do more
• 29:21
Speaker 1: than just file SARs with FinCEN and the U.S. Treasury's
• 29:24
Speaker 1: Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, they carefully vet customers and block
• 29:29
Speaker 1: tainted transactions. Oh yeah, I'm sure, for low-level street drug dealers,
• 29:35
Speaker 1: or somebody that they might think is a drug dealer
• 29:37
Speaker 1: or something like that. But if you're a big... wig
• 29:40
Speaker 1: and you're rolling around with so-called polite society, rubbing your
• 29:43
Speaker 1: elbows with the Clintons and the Trumps and the Dubins
• 29:46
Speaker 1: and the Wexners, it does not matter. You're not going
• 29:49
Speaker 1: to get sard. And even if you do, it's going
• 29:51
Speaker 1: to be ignored because uncle Jess Staley said so. But
• 29:57
Speaker 1: she is concerned that a lack of accountability can distort
• 30:00
Speaker 1: the risk-reward equation within banks. Individual bankers are rarely held accountable,
• 30:06
Speaker 1: so money laundering becomes a source of profits and bank
• 30:09
Speaker 1: fines become a cost of doing business, Lacewell wrote. When
• 30:13
Speaker 1: the profits exceed the fines, the business choice is easily corrupted.
• 30:17
Speaker 1: So you are in charge here, Ms. Lacewell. You are
• 30:21
Speaker 1: in charge of this regulation committee, right? you need to
• 30:24
Speaker 1: petition the lawmakers to make more stringent and harsher penalties
• 30:28
Speaker 1: for these people. That way, these bankers who are involved
• 30:32
Speaker 1: go to prison. The FinCEN files include more than 2,100
• 30:39
Speaker 1: suspicious activity reports filed by banks and other financial firms
• 30:43
Speaker 1: within FinCEN, the U.S. Department of Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
• 30:49
Speaker 1: BuzzFeed News shared the cache of reports with ICIJ, which
• 30:53
Speaker 1: organized a team of more than 400 journalists from 110
• 30:57
Speaker 1: news organizations in 88 countries to investigate banks and money laundering.
• 31:03
Speaker 1: This is such important work, folks, especially with our ongoing conversation.
• 31:08
Speaker 1: And I am very thankful that these courageous journalists, these
• 31:15
Speaker 1: courageous investigators have taken it upon themselves to dig deep here.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: We know what happened after the Panama Papers. These sorts
• 31:24
Speaker 1: of reports and this kind of investigation, they have real
• 31:28
Speaker 1: life results a lot of times for people. So it's
• 31:30
Speaker 1: very brave of these journalists, these 400 journalists to come
• 31:35
Speaker 1: together and unify to get this story out there to us,
• 31:39
Speaker 1: the public. Because at the end of the day, we're
• 31:42
Speaker 1: the ones being robbed, folks. We're the ones being enslaved
• 31:46
Speaker 1: by their corrupt, predatory financial system. And then to top
• 31:51
Speaker 1: it all off, to really shove our noses in it,
• 31:55
Speaker 1: they run things like a trafficking ring with that very
• 31:58
Speaker 1: money that they stole from us and used in these
• 32:05
Speaker 1: incredibly disgusting money laundering operations. The team's investigation revealed that
• 32:13
Speaker 1: many global banks have continued to profit from suspect transactions
• 32:18
Speaker 1: even after U.S. authorities fined them for earlier failures to
• 32:22
Speaker 1: stem flows of dirty money. And it just goes on
• 32:24
Speaker 1: and on and on. If it's just fines that are
• 32:27
Speaker 1: coming down the pipe, it's no big deal. It's not
• 32:29
Speaker 1: going to affect these people. They have all the money
• 32:32
Speaker 1: that you could possibly imagine. They are the bank, folks.
• 32:36
Speaker 1: They have all of the money you could possibly imagine.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: And you could fine them for as much as you'd like.
• 32:43
Speaker 1: But until we slap stiff penalties on managers of these accounts,
• 32:48
Speaker 1: their bosses, and above, I'm talking go all the way
• 32:51
Speaker 1: to the boardroom, then we're going to see this continue
• 32:54
Speaker 1: to occur because it makes money hand over fist for
• 32:57
Speaker 1: these people. What, you don't think they're getting a couple
• 33:00
Speaker 1: of points on this money laundering? They're just doing it
• 33:03
Speaker 1: through the kindness of their hearts? You don't think they're
• 33:07
Speaker 1: getting a vig? They most certainly are. So when you
• 33:12
Speaker 1: hear people talk about follow the money, and you hear
• 33:15
Speaker 1: people talk about that's how this investigation should be carried out, well,
• 33:20
Speaker 1: they are right. And folks, what we have here with
• 33:23
Speaker 1: the FinCEN files is a fantastic place to get started.
• 33:29
Speaker 1: In all, An ICIJ analysis found the documents identified more
• 33:34
Speaker 1: than $ 2 trillion, with a T, folks, in transactions between
• 33:40
Speaker 1: 1999 and 2017 that were flagged by financial institutions' in-house
• 33:45
Speaker 1: compliance officers as possible money laundering or other criminal activity. Now,
• 33:51
Speaker 1: my question is this. Who told those in-house compliance officers
• 33:56
Speaker 1: to just pass it through? Did they shoot it up
• 33:59
Speaker 1: the chain to their superiors? And then what happened? Who
• 34:02
Speaker 1: debted it? Who killed it? Who made sure it was DOA?
• 34:06
Speaker 1: My guess would be whoever the wealth management banker overseeing
• 34:11
Speaker 1: the overall cases. So you want to talk about follow
• 34:14
Speaker 1: the money. Let's really follow the money. I say it
• 34:18
Speaker 1: all the time. If you follow the money in the streets,
• 34:21
Speaker 1: you're going to come up to a drug dealer, right?
• 34:23
Speaker 1: If you follow the money here where we're talking about it,
• 34:27
Speaker 1: most assuredly you're going to end up in a politician's
• 34:30
Speaker 1: office or a banker's office. And we all know that
• 34:37
Speaker 1: the two of them have a parasitic relationship anyway. Because
• 34:41
Speaker 1: if it wasn't for these scumbags involved in all this
• 34:43
Speaker 1: money laundering, if it wasn't for all of these sick,
• 34:48
Speaker 1: sick people who do not care about anything but the
• 34:53
Speaker 1: consolidation of power, and their own financial gain, then we
• 35:01
Speaker 1: would not have to worry about half of the things
• 35:03
Speaker 1: we have to worry about on this planet. These people
• 35:07
Speaker 1: are corrupt, they're criminalistic, and the whole entire banking system, obviously,
• 35:15
Speaker 1: is corrupt. If you'd like to contact me, you can
• 35:19
  Speaker 1: do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com.

• 35:37
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. What's up, everybody, and
• 35:42
Speaker 1: welcome to the program. So, look, I know for the
• 35:45
Speaker 1: past few days we've been Going hard in the paint.
• 35:49
Speaker 1: On the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. The new lawsuit.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: That Virginia has filed against him. And all of the fallout.
• 35:56
Speaker 1: That has occurred around that. Well this morning. I want
• 35:59
Speaker 1: to change paces a little bit. And I want to
• 36:02
Speaker 1: dive back into. The financial portion. Of this conversation. There's
• 36:10
Speaker 1: new reports out. That the United States of America. Has
• 36:13
Speaker 1: become a preferred. Destination. for laundered money through real estate
• 36:20
Speaker 1: projects and it is disgusting to say the least you
• 36:29
Speaker 1: have all of these politicians in the United States part
• 36:33
Speaker 1: of committees this that the other thing where they get
• 36:36
Speaker 1: together and they point the finger at all of these
• 36:38
Speaker 1: other countries around the world meanwhile their own yard looks
• 36:43
Speaker 1: like absolute shit It's hypocritical, it's embarrassing, and it needs
• 36:52
Speaker 1: to stop. Washington, D.C. has plenty of problems of their own.
• 36:59
Speaker 1: And while they're out there pointing their fingers, blaming everybody else,
• 37:05
Speaker 1: money is pouring in to the United States, into these
• 37:10
Speaker 1: money laundered projects, into these projects where these guys are
• 37:14
Speaker 1: washing their money away. And what's Congress doing about it? Nothing.
• 37:20
Speaker 1: Absolutely nothing. Sitting on their hands, like usual. Just like
• 37:24
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. Unless they can find a way to
• 37:29
Speaker 1: divide the populace, it's not a hot-button issue for them.
• 37:34
Speaker 1: Even though this should be something that's being talked about
• 37:37
Speaker 1: all over the news. How is it that the United
• 37:41
Speaker 1: States of America, with all of their checks and balances
• 37:44
Speaker 1: in place... is able to end up being a preferred
• 37:47
Speaker 1: destination for scumbags from around the world who are engaged
• 37:51
Speaker 1: in all kinds of fucked up activities to park their
• 37:54
Speaker 1: money here and watch it grow with nobody saying a peep. Yet,
• 37:59
Speaker 1: if you or I are a little bit off on
• 38:01
Speaker 1: our tax return, guess who's showing up at your house?
• 38:05
Speaker 1: That's right, the IRS with all kinds of nonsense looking
• 38:08
Speaker 1: to garner your paycheck, looking to send you to prison.
• 38:13
Speaker 1: What if these scumbags from Insert country here come to
• 38:17
Speaker 1: America and park their money in, you know, illegal real
• 38:20
Speaker 1: estate projects that are only going up to wash the money,
• 38:25
Speaker 1: that's okay. The whole entire thing is a dumpster fire, folks.
• 38:30
Speaker 1: The whole entire thing. And I, you know, again, I
• 38:33
Speaker 1: don't speak for anybody else and nobody speaks for me, obviously.
• 38:36
Speaker 1: I'm just one man with one opinion. But my opinion
• 38:39
Speaker 1: is the whole entire system is absolutely fucked. You look
• 38:44
Speaker 1: at every single institution that we're supposed to have faith in,
• 38:47
Speaker 1: and then you tell me with a straight face that
• 38:50
Speaker 1: you have faith in that institution. Because I don't know
• 38:53
Speaker 1: how people do. The Federal Reserve, we're supposed to trust them?
• 38:58
Speaker 1: We're supposed to trust Congress? I think like a violent
• 39:04
Speaker 1: polar bear that's raging through a village in insert Siberian
• 39:10
Speaker 1: town here is more trusted than Than the current crop
• 39:14
Speaker 1: of congressmen and senators and congresswomen. I mean really? Nobody
• 39:19
Speaker 1: trusts any of these institutions. And then when these reports
• 39:22
Speaker 1: come in. It just makes you chuckle and shake your
• 39:25
Speaker 1: head in disgust. How many of these politicians are gaining through?
• 39:30
Speaker 1: these illegal operations? And, you know, look, I'm not saying
• 39:33
Speaker 1: that they're the ones, you know, setting them up or
• 39:36
Speaker 1: anything like that. But we know that money filters back down.
• 39:40
Speaker 1: We know that that money somehow finds its way to
• 39:43
Speaker 1: these politicians. And the cycle continues. The wheel spins on
• 39:50
Speaker 1: and on and on. And when all is said and done,
• 39:54
Speaker 1: you and I, once again, are left with the bill.
• 39:57
Speaker 1: It's like that episode of The Sopranos. When they all
• 40:01
Speaker 1: go to the restaurant up in Atlantic City and Christopher
• 40:05
Speaker 1: gets stuck with the bill. Right? So instead of him
• 40:09
Speaker 1: paying the bill, he gets up and he goes to
• 40:11
Speaker 1: the bathroom and Pauly gets stuck with it instead. That's
• 40:14
Speaker 1: basically what's going on here, right? It's the old switcheroo.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: We get stuck with the bill all the time. We
• 40:19
Speaker 1: get stuck with the hike taxes. We don't have loopholes.
• 40:23
Speaker 1: We don't have these fancy tax attorneys that are showing
• 40:27
Speaker 1: us where to stash our money. That's only for them.
• 40:32
Speaker 1: And that's why I thought it was laughable when Sherrod
• 40:35
Speaker 1: Brown came out. when President Biden was first elected and
• 40:40
Speaker 1: talked about how they were going to enforce this and
• 40:42
Speaker 1: how they were going to be so hard on these people.
• 40:44
Speaker 1: These people put you in office, Sherrod Brown. You're not
• 40:46
Speaker 1: fooling me. The neocons, the neolibs, they're all the same folks.
• 40:55
Speaker 1: And until these people put up, it's time to shut up.
• 41:00
Speaker 1: Because articles like this and stories like this It's unacceptable
• 41:05
Speaker 1: in the United States in my opinion. So let's dive
• 41:10
Speaker 1: into this article from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists
• 41:16
Speaker 1: who have done just exceptional work as far as the
• 41:19
Speaker 1: FinCEN files go and as far as their coverage of
• 41:23
Speaker 1: this aspect of the world goes. They have just done
• 41:27
Speaker 1: a fantastic job. So if you aren't following them on
• 41:30
Speaker 1: social media yet or you're not getting their newsletter or
• 41:34
Speaker 1: any of that, make sure you do that. Because they
• 41:38
Speaker 1: do some fantastic work over here. And it's straightforward investigative journalism.
• 41:44
Speaker 1: No BSing around. And I respect the hell out of
• 41:47
Speaker 1: that because there's not much of that that goes on anymore.
• 41:51
Speaker 1: I mean, what do you have? Like Whitney Webb, Caitlin Johnstone.
• 41:55
Speaker 1: Very few people. That I'm willing to dig into their
• 41:58
Speaker 1: content and know that they're coming from a solid place
• 42:01
Speaker 1: and not trying to gaslight me. Very few people. Headline.
• 42:07
  Speaker 1: A kleptocrat's dream. U.S. real estate, a safe haven for
• 42:11
Speaker 1: billions in dirty money, report says. Based on a review
• 42:16
Speaker 1: of more than 100 money laundering cases, a new study
• 42:19
Speaker 1: finds that the U.S. has become a preferred destination... For
• 42:23
Speaker 1: those looking to stash illicit funds through property. This article
• 42:28
Speaker 1: was authored by Sean McGoey. And that's pretty sobering, right?
• 42:34
Speaker 1: You know, everyone's always thought that America was, you know,
• 42:39
Speaker 1: the shining city on top of the hill. The place where,
• 42:43
Speaker 1: you know, the law is equal. Where if you come
• 42:48
Speaker 1: from a different country or anywhere and you're trying to
• 42:50
Speaker 1: you know, make a better life for yourself. If you
• 42:53
Speaker 1: do it the right way, you're supposed to be able
• 42:54
Speaker 1: to do that. But unfortunately, on top of that, you
• 43:00
Speaker 1: have people who are always going to manipulate the system.
• 43:04
Speaker 1: And you would think that if these billions and billions
• 43:07
Speaker 1: of dollars are coming in from foreign lands, places where
• 43:11
Speaker 1: there are oligarchs, kleptocrats, people like that, That they'd be
• 43:15
Speaker 1: more stringent about what goes on. But they do not care.
• 43:18
Speaker 1: If you think the banks give one fuck about you,
• 43:21
Speaker 1: your well-being, or if your bills are paid, you are
• 43:25
Speaker 1: absolutely wrong. Absolutely wrong. The bank isn't your friend. These
• 43:30
Speaker 1: mega corporations aren't your friends. None of this. None of that.
• 43:35
Speaker 1: These people only care about the bottom line. That's it.
• 43:39
Speaker 1: Not your welfare. Not the climate. Not anything else. At
• 43:46
Speaker 1: least $ 2. 3 billion has been laundered via real estate transactions
• 43:50
Speaker 1: in the last five years, according to a new report
• 43:53
Speaker 1: by Washington, D.C.-based Think Tank. That's nice. And that's just
• 43:56
Speaker 1: another scarlet letter for Donald Trump. I mean, honestly, though,
• 44:02
Speaker 1: did anyone think any different? We all knew that he
• 44:05
Speaker 1: was going to be super friendly to these kind of kleptocrats, oligarchs.
• 44:08
Speaker 1: That's what he is. Let's call him how I see
• 44:11
Speaker 1: him here, folks, right? Trump is an oligarch. type of
• 44:16
Speaker 1: dude 100 so of course during his tenure in office
• 44:24
Speaker 1: nobody was going hard on white collar criminals in fact
• 44:27
Speaker 1: they pulled back but let's not act like biden's doing
• 44:32
Speaker 1: anything different here either what exactly has the biden administration
• 44:35
Speaker 1: done to rein in these what i call financial terrorists
• 44:40
Speaker 1: Not a damn thing, folks. Not a damn thing. Meet
• 44:44
Speaker 1: the new boss, same as the old boss. By using
• 44:49
Speaker 1: a database of over 100 publicly reported real estate money
• 44:53
Speaker 1: laundering cases in the US, United Kingdom and Canada Global
• 44:57
Speaker 1: Financial Integrity says the US has become a preferred destination
• 45:02
Speaker 1: for those looking to use real estate to stash illicit funds,
• 45:05
Speaker 1: making it a kleptocrat's dream. Imagine we have to have
• 45:09
Speaker 1: the UK And Canada? Hold our fucking feet to the
• 45:13
Speaker 1: fire in the United States? That's who we've become? We
• 45:15
Speaker 1: can't check ourselves? We don't know how to conduct ourselves
• 45:18
Speaker 1: correctly on the world stage, huh? No wonder everybody's laughing
• 45:22
Speaker 1: at us. What a fucking nightmare. What a joke this
• 45:26
Speaker 1: country has become, huh? Pathetic. And then to watch everybody
• 45:31
Speaker 1: fight with each other and continue the division along the
• 45:37
Speaker 1: lines that Jeffrey Epstein's buddies have set out there for
• 45:40
Speaker 1: you and to watch people manipulated by them. Man, it's frustrating.
• 45:44
Speaker 1: What's really frustrating for me, though, is people who say
• 45:47
Speaker 1: that they're really into this case. Oh, I'm into this case.
• 45:51
Speaker 1: But then they're busy. Well, you know, Joe Biden's a
• 45:54
Speaker 1: nice guy. Joe Biden's not a nice guy. Donald Trump
• 45:57
Speaker 1: wasn't a nice guy. None of these fucking people are
• 45:59
Speaker 1: nice guys. You know, you can live in a fantasy
• 46:04
Speaker 1: world all you want, but the questions about Tara Reade
• 46:07
Speaker 1: and Joe Biden still stand. What, she doesn't matter? Of
• 46:13
Speaker 1: course she does. Public officials and their associates, known as
• 46:19
Speaker 1: politically exposed persons, were involved in more than half of
• 46:23
Speaker 1: the U.S. cases that the GFI reviewed. Those PEPs included
• 46:30
Speaker 1: Gennaro Garcia Luna, a former Mexican security minister who bought
• 46:34
Speaker 1: millions of dollars of U.S. property while accused of taking
• 46:38
Speaker 1: bribes from the Sinaloa cartel, and the stepson of former
• 46:42
Speaker 1: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who was arrested in 2019
• 46:46
Speaker 1: for his alleged role in the 1MDB scandal. So... You know,
• 46:53
Speaker 1: it's no big deal, right? You have operators for the cartel,
• 46:56
Speaker 1: people who are in bed with Sinaloa. No problem. Come
• 46:59
Speaker 1: and invest your money here. Come to my project. Come
• 47:03
Speaker 1: over here to the new Jared Kushner project and invest
• 47:07
Speaker 1: your money. What do you think? Any of these people
• 47:10
Speaker 1: are above taking money from scumbags? They don't care. And
• 47:15
Speaker 1: up until recently, they were able to get away with
• 47:18
Speaker 1: whatever they wanted. Real estate provides a really easy way
• 47:25
Speaker 1: to hide ill-gotten gains with little oversight and few questions asked.
• 47:29
Speaker 1: GFI policy director Lakshmi Kumar told the International Consortium of
• 47:34
Speaker 1: Investigative Journalists, If you're a criminal, why would you not
• 47:38
Speaker 1: choose a method that allows you to flaunt your wealth
• 47:41
Speaker 1: openly but also hides its illicit nature? 100% real estate
• 47:46
Speaker 1: has always been a go-to move for these sorts of folks.
• 47:52
Speaker 1: And the real estate market, the real estate industry is
• 47:56
Speaker 1: perfect for this. Now, recently, I've had the opportunity to
• 48:04
Speaker 1: perhaps pursue a real estate license. And I'm thinking about
• 48:08
Speaker 1: doing it just to get more hip to what's going
• 48:14
Speaker 1: on here, right? To get more of an idea of
• 48:15
Speaker 1: what goes on behind the scenes. As you all know,
• 48:18
Speaker 1: I am neck deep. when it comes to the financial
• 48:22
Speaker 1: portion of this case. In fact, I think that's the
• 48:24
Speaker 1: most plausible way to get all of these people caught up.
• 48:30
Speaker 1: And the option has been put towards me and Carrie
• 48:35
Speaker 1: about grabbing our real estate licenses and dipping our toes
• 48:38
Speaker 1: perhaps in that industry as well. And it's certainly something
• 48:42
Speaker 1: I'm thinking about because I'm fascinated about all of the
• 48:47
Speaker 1: ins and outs and how all of this works, right?
• 48:50
Speaker 1: And what better way to learn something than to actually
• 48:54
Speaker 1: get into the shit. So it's certainly something I'm thinking
• 48:57
Speaker 1: about and probably going to pursue. The U.S. was once
• 49:06
Speaker 1: considered at the regulatory forefront when it came to preventing
• 49:10
Speaker 1: money laundering through real estate. Adding persons involved in real
• 49:13
Speaker 1: estate closings and settlements to the Bank Secrecy Act definition
• 49:18
Speaker 1: of financial institutions in 1928. 1988. But over time, Kumar says,
• 49:23
Speaker 1: the country lost ground to its peers in the UK
• 49:26
Speaker 1: and Europe. Well, yeah, that's because the corruption has rotted
• 49:30
Speaker 1: the Congress and the Senate from the inside out. What?
• 49:35
Speaker 1: That's not the truth? Which one of you look at
• 49:38
Speaker 1: Congress or Senate and And say to yourselves, man, I'm
• 49:42
Speaker 1: really confident in the job they're doing. Me and my family,
• 49:46
Speaker 1: our future is secure. I would think that nobody except
• 49:51
Speaker 1: people that are suffering from cognitive dissonance, from people who
• 49:56
Speaker 1: carry water from one party or the other. But for
• 50:00
Speaker 1: the most part, you look around and you say to yourself,
• 50:04
Speaker 1: everything's broken. And where America used to be at the forefront,
• 50:10
Speaker 1: we've taken 10 steps back. This is clearly a systemic
• 50:17
Speaker 1: issue globally, Kumar said. Everyone's discovering how easy it is
• 50:21
Speaker 1: to use and abuse the real estate sector. The difference
• 50:24
Speaker 1: is that everyone else seems to have charted a path forward.
• 50:28
Speaker 1: They have put in legislation. They're trying to figure it out.
• 50:32
Speaker 1: In the U.S., we're still held back. And again, Whose
• 50:35
Speaker 1: fault is that? Who's in charge now? Where's Sherrod Brown
• 50:38
Speaker 1: and all of his big AML conversations he was having? What,
• 50:45
Speaker 1: no more declarations about how you guys are going to
• 50:47
Speaker 1: fix the financial sector? No movement. What, six months now?
• 50:53
Speaker 1: Seven months now? Still nothing. One of the biggest issues
• 51:00
Speaker 1: that the report cites is the use of geographic targeting
• 51:03
Speaker 1: orders as the U.S. 's primary tool to identify potential
• 51:07
Speaker 1: money laundering events. GTOs impose reporting requirements on real estate purchases,
• 51:13
Speaker 1: but only in narrowly targeted scenarios. Large cash purchases by
• 51:17
Speaker 1: legal entities in specific geographic areas. So, if you go
• 51:24
Speaker 1: to a county or a place not covered by that,
• 51:27
Speaker 1: then what? There's so many loopholes that are always put
• 51:31
Speaker 1: into this, so many ways for people to skirt the system,
• 51:35
Speaker 1: and the laws are drawn up like that. That's the
• 51:38
Speaker 1: pathetic part. More than 60% of the U.S. cases examined
• 51:45
Speaker 1: in the report involved properties in at least one county
• 51:49
Speaker 1: not covered by a targeting order, which GFI says highlights
• 51:53
Speaker 1: the inadequacy of the system. A lot of the money
• 51:57
Speaker 1: laundering cases we saw reported in the UK and Canada
• 52:00
Speaker 1: were really concentrated in what you'd call real estate hubs
• 52:04
Speaker 1: in the country, Kumar said. In the US, that was
• 52:07
Speaker 1: not the case. It was spread far and wide. And
• 52:11
Speaker 1: with the real estate boom going on in the United
• 52:13
Speaker 1: States right now, you gotta think that's even accelerated a bit, right?
• 52:17
Speaker 1: I know here in Las Vegas, everywhere you look, there's
• 52:20
Speaker 1: houses being built, there's cranes in the sky. and how
• 52:24
Speaker 1: much of that money that has been doled out has
• 52:29
Speaker 1: been from ill-gotten gains. I would have never even thought
• 52:33
Speaker 1: about things in these terms prior to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation,
• 52:37
Speaker 1: but now every single time I see a bank involved
• 52:40
Speaker 1: in something, every time I see something like this cracking off,
• 52:44
Speaker 1: I shake my head and say to myself, well, these
• 52:47
Speaker 1: scumbags are up to it again, because I have to
• 52:50
Speaker 1: be very honest with you guys. Everyone talks about a
• 52:56
Speaker 1: big game in the United States, all of our politicians
• 52:59
Speaker 1: on both sides of the aisle, and then they don't
• 53:01
Speaker 1: do shit about it. They just wait for the next
• 53:05
Speaker 1: news cycle and latch on to that, whatever's politically expedient
• 53:09
Speaker 1: for them. And I don't know about you folks, but
• 53:12
Speaker 1: I'm pretty tired of it. The Finstead... Excuse me. Another concern,
• 53:26
Speaker 1: the report outlines, is that the U.S. anti-money laundering regime
• 53:29
Speaker 1: is focused on residential purchases when a significant portion of
• 53:33
Speaker 1: the cases GFI reviewed involve commercial real estate transactions. Well,
• 53:38
Speaker 1: that would make sense. There's a lot more money in
• 53:40
Speaker 1: commercial real estate than residential real estate, right? You're renting out,
• 53:46
Speaker 1: I mean, you're selling property to businesses, companies, you know,
• 53:49
Speaker 1: people with big money. So I would think that in
• 53:53
Speaker 1: commercial real estate, There is a lot of dough to
• 53:56
Speaker 1: be made. And I don't know why they wouldn't regulate
• 54:02
Speaker 1: that more. It's not an oversight. Come on. They know, again,
• 54:06
Speaker 1: my guess is it's probably a loophole. Probably one of
• 54:10
Speaker 1: those wink, wink, nudge, nudge oversights, right? Oh, it's an oversight,
• 54:13
Speaker 1: but whatever. This is going to help us out later
• 54:15
Speaker 1: on down the road. The Finson Files, an investigation on
• 54:27
Speaker 1: global dirty money, flows by ICIJ and BuzzFeed News, examined
• 54:32
Speaker 1: the impact of large-scale money laundering on middle America. ICIJ
• 54:37
Speaker 1: found that Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, whose case is cited
• 54:42
Speaker 1: in GFI's report, amassed a Midwest real estate empire, with
• 54:46
Speaker 1: his associates at one time becoming Cleveland's largest commercial landlord's
• 54:51
Speaker 1: and leaving behind a trail of unpaid property taxes, unemployed workers,
• 54:55
Speaker 1: and dangerous factory conditions. Kolomoisky has since been sanctioned by
• 55:00
Speaker 1: the U.S. State Department. Ooh, sanctioned. Bet you he's really
• 55:04
Speaker 1: worried about being sanctioned by the big bad State Department.
• 55:08
Speaker 1: As he swims around in his billions of dollars in Sochi.
• 55:13
Speaker 1: I mean, come on, man. Sanctioned. And again, when are
• 55:18
Speaker 1: they ever going to arrest any of these people? Unless
• 55:21
Speaker 1: they're scoring like political points, then they have no desire
• 55:25
Speaker 1: to do it. Kumar said that because commercial deals often
• 55:31
Speaker 1: involve several parties and complex financing arrangements, they're an easy
• 55:35
Speaker 1: way to stash illicit money. When you talk about residential
• 55:39
Speaker 1: real estate, the heart of it is identifying who is
• 55:42
Speaker 1: the beneficial owner. Because if you find out who the
• 55:45
Speaker 1: beneficial owner is, It also tells you who the criminal is,
• 55:50
Speaker 1: Kumar told ICIJ. In a commercial real estate investment, you
• 55:54
Speaker 1: don't have to own the majority stake to be a criminal.
• 55:56
Speaker 1: You can own 2% of a $ 500 million property, and
• 56:00
Speaker 1: you are still laundering millions through it. And that's what
• 56:03
Speaker 1: they do, right? Just a big enough chunk to be
• 56:05
Speaker 1: able to conduct their business. And if you have a
• 56:08
Speaker 1: 2% piece of enough businesses, 2% piece of enough real
• 56:12
Speaker 1: estate projects, that shit all adds up in the end,
• 56:15
Speaker 1: doesn't it? The report also delves into the involvement of
• 56:21
Speaker 1: gatekeepers in real estate transactions and the direct role of
• 56:25
Speaker 1: real estate agents, lawyers, and accountants in facilitating illicit transactions.
• 56:31
Speaker 1: But GFI also points to regulating private investment advisors as
• 56:35
Speaker 1: more under-the-radar way of tackling real estate money laundering. Now,
• 56:41
Speaker 1: we know that the gatekeepers, quote-unquote, lawyers, and accountants played
• 56:46
Speaker 1: a huge role in Jeffrey Epstein's organizations. Indyk and Khan
• 56:50
Speaker 1: were crucial to the day-to-day operations of that criminal enterprise.
• 56:55
Speaker 1: That is exactly what the evidence has pointed to, and
• 56:58
Speaker 1: that's exactly what the survivors have said themselves. So without
• 57:02
Speaker 1: the lawyers, without the accountants, without the real estate agents,
• 57:05
Speaker 1: all of this can't take place. Investment vehicles are one
• 57:12
Speaker 1: of the key methods in which to invest in commercial
• 57:15
Speaker 1: real estate in this country, Kumar said. And private equity,
• 57:19
Speaker 1: venture capital, hedge funds have no anti-money laundering requirements. So
• 57:24
Speaker 1: that becomes a black box because you don't know who
• 57:27
Speaker 1: is bringing what money into this country and how. And again,
• 57:30
Speaker 1: the hedgies are always going to have their way, right?
• 57:33
Speaker 1: Notice how these hedge funds always have different rules than
• 57:35
