- 1:54chance to interview her. She's got a book out called No
- 1:57Stilettos on the Field available on Amazon.
- 1:59We are now talking to CEO of BG Sports Enterprises and sports
- 2:04agent Brittany Gilman. Brittany, what's up?
- 2:08What's up? I love the graphic.
- 2:10This is cool, yes? That's right.
- 2:13That's, that is. So for anybody that doesn't
- 2:16know, Fish is the one, our executive producer.
- 2:17He's the one who creates all the graphics.
- 2:19He's, he's very good at it. So I, so I give him some
- 2:21compliments. I don't want to pat him on the
- 2:23back all the time because every time I do, he, he, he jumps out
- 2:26of his pants or something. And he is a giant fan.
- 2:28So I'm kind of lost and, and me and Q don't like that, right?
- 2:31Q we don't like the giants, right?
- 2:32No, no, we don't like them anyway.
- 2:34Jet life, Jet life, Jet life, playoff jets.
- 2:37Yeah, playoff Jets losing organization, as we all know
- 2:41anyways. Well, we'll see.
- 2:43Well, we have to. We, we only have to wonder if
- 2:45Geno Smith doesn't get knocked out by somebody else on that
- 2:47roster. But hey, we're we're not here to
- 2:49talk about The Jets. We're here to talk about this
- 2:51beautiful lady who's doing so many great things.
- 2:54So tell us, how did this book come along?
- 2:58Well, I've been in the business close to two decades, and about
- 3:0210 years in, and I was like, you know what, I need to write a
- 3:04book. So I started writing this 10
- 3:07years ago. And I kind of used it as a
- 3:10journal when really, really bad things would happen.
- 3:14And then I eventually was like, OK, I didn't want to release my
- 3:19book until I felt that I was credible enough to speak on the
- 3:22topics that I speak about and that I had enough to teach and
- 3:26share my wisdom and experience. And so, you know, over the past
- 3:3010 years, I would, you know, write a chapter, wait three
- 3:34months, write a chapter. And then about six months ago, I
- 3:37was like, OK, I need to get this done.
- 3:40Signed with a publisher and worked really, really, really
- 3:43hard to get it done by draft day.
- 3:45And so here we are. It's out to the world.
- 3:49You know, I've been asking Q for the last couple of weeks.
- 3:51When is his book coming out? You know, But you know, I don't
- 3:55know how far the chapters are going to go.
- 3:56Development day that right now. I don't know where the chapters
- 4:00are going to go because the New York Jets, that's a story by
- 4:03itself, but we're not getting into that.
- 4:05I can't wait to see that autobiography of the old Cuba
- 4:10over here. But anyways, we look at the game
- 4:12football. I've seen you, you've gone to so
- 4:14many events, you work with so many athletes.
- 4:16What is it like being a sports agent?
- 4:18Tell everybody when when you when you step into the spotlight
- 4:21and you get the chance to talk to some of the great young
- 4:24athletes or some of the great greatest of all time at what
- 4:27they do. What is it like walking up to
- 4:28him and and and speaking about bringing them in and being their
- 4:31agent? I mean, it's it's a very
- 4:35mutually honest, it's a volatile environment.
- 4:37It's extremely competitive. The highs are extremely high and
- 4:41the lows are equally as low. So it's from the outside looking
- 4:44in. If you would look at my
- 4:46Instagram and you follow me on social, she's like, Oh my God,
- 4:49this is amazing. I want to be a sports agent, but
- 4:52in reality, it's really not for everybody.
- 4:54It's very, very difficult. It's full of a lot of hard
- 4:57situations, but there's also really amazing situations.
- 5:00So I would say that it's extremes, so total opposite
- 5:04extremes. And if you want to be
- 5:05successful, you have to learn to ride the UPS, the downs, to have
- 5:09extremely thick skin, to not take anything personally.
- 5:13And you really have to put your whole heart into what you do and
- 5:17providing value for your clients and being able to be genuine and
- 5:22have integrity. And I think that goes a really
- 5:24long way. And when we speak to athletes,
- 5:26those are the some of the first few things I tell them is like,
- 5:29look like I'm always going to be honest.
- 5:30I'm always going to keep it 100 with you and take accountability
- 5:35and, you know, not beat around the Bush.
- 5:37I'm not a yes man, but I will work my butt off and do
- 5:41everything I possibly can to make you successful and do what
- 5:44we can to aid you off the field and on the field as much as we
- 5:47can. So what are some of the
- 5:49differences? I think with the with the NFL,
- 5:51the NFL draft clients that you have and some of the
- 5:53international clients I've seen your travel photos on on
- 5:56Instagram and the Instagram scores, you're always at the
- 5:58polls like where should you go next type thing.
- 6:00What are some of the differences with the dealing with the NFL
- 6:02and some of the American sports clients versus the international
- 6:05approach, the way they've handled sports?
- 6:07Yeah. So the the US has really kind of
- 6:10been the at the forefront of sports branding, marketing, PR
- 6:15and all of Europe. And, you know, the rest of the
- 6:18world kind of looks to the US and learns from the US and
- 6:20copies the US. And you look at all of the
- 6:22professional sports leagues that we have and the amount of money
- 6:25that these leagues make and other leagues kind of copy that
- 6:31strategy as much as they can. So it's it's very different.
- 6:34And when I first started going international about 10 years
- 6:37ago, I would go to meetings all over Europe and Portugal and
- 6:40Spain and Italy and France and pitch these strategies that we
- 6:44implement for NFL players, such as digital monetization
- 6:47strategies, clothing, having athletes build brands off the
- 6:51field. And they weren't really received
- 6:53very well. People didn't really get it.
- 6:55They were kind of like, it's different here and it
- 6:58completely. It's a totally different world.
- 7:01Football or soccer is, you know, Americans like to call it is the
- 7:06biggest sport globally. However, their approach is
- 7:09completely different. And then you also have to take
- 7:11into account the different cultures.
- 7:12So each country you go to is a different culture.
- 7:15And so you're having to adapt within those cultures while
- 7:17still trying to implement strategies.
- 7:19And each team is different. They they, some teams allow
- 7:22their players to do a lot of things other teams don't.
- 7:25Football are judged tremendously from the public lie and the
- 7:29media if they do anything really beyond the pitch that is not
- 7:32totally just focused on the sport.
- 7:35And so that makes it really difficult to implement branding
- 7:37strategies and PR strategies because there's just a lot more
- 7:40hurdles and people that you have to go through.
- 7:43But it's changed quite a bit in the past 10 years, and
- 7:45especially with that international bridge that is
- 7:49being built between sports cross culturally and obviously the
- 7:53World Cup and the Olympics. And so you're seeing that
- 7:57bridge, that gap close, but there's still a bit of a
- 8:00difference, you know? And again, it all depends on the
- 8:03country that you're in. Cute.
- 8:04Before you go, I just want to mention it's funny because my
- 8:06cousin actually went to Paris a couple of years ago and she was
- 8:09looking for a stream for the Eagles Chiefs Super Bowl the
- 8:11first time they played in 2023 and it took an hour for her to
- 8:14find one because it wasn't available for a while.
- 8:16Yeah, totally different world. Hey, Britney, I'm Q Nice to meet
- 8:21you. I know you've done this show a
- 8:22couple of times before, but thanks for coming on the show
- 8:26again. Talk to me a little bit about,
- 8:28you know, you are athlete yourself.
- 8:31So what was kind of like the turning point?
- 8:33That was like, OK, I'm going to go into the agency where I'm
- 8:37going to become someone who manages and and look after the
- 8:41athlete versus actually being the athlete yourself.
- 8:44So it's actually really funny, and I talk about this in my book
- 8:48where at one point in high school I was being interviewed.
- 8:53So I snowboard and I decided to be, you know, chase the pro
- 8:57snowboard route when I was in high school.
- 9:00And I was being interviewed one time by our high school
- 9:03newspaper and they asked me, well, what do you want to be
- 9:06when you grow up? Like, what do you want to be
- 9:08after snowboarding? And I said, oh, you know, I want
- 9:10to, I want to be a sports agent like Jerry Maguire.
- 9:13Well, it's really funny because I forgot that I said that.
- 9:16And and I then pursued snowboarding and then strength
- 9:21conditioning and then strength conditioning.
- 9:22I realized I love working with athletes.
- 9:24I really enjoy working with football, but I don't want to be
- 9:27in the weight room all day like this is boring.
- 9:29I have so much more to offer and that's kind of when I figured
- 9:32out what else can I do in sports.
- 9:34And then I did a marketing internship in LA at a sports
- 9:39marketing agency. And then at that point when I
- 9:41first did my red carpet, when I did my very first red carpet
- 9:44with Andre Berto, who's a boxer, I realized, Oh my God, this is
- 9:47for me. Like I, I realized like I want
- 9:50to be in this space, but I never really set out consciously and
- 9:53said, I want to be an agent, I want to be a marketing manager.
- 9:56I did that for snowboarding and I did that for strength
- 9:58conditioning. But my agent and marketing and
- 10:01all the other stuff I do kind of happened just by just by
- 10:06unfolding as I was doing it. And then a couple years ago, I
- 10:09was just going through old stuff at my mom's house and I came
- 10:11across the article and I felt like, no way.
- 10:16So you get your motivation. After that, it was done, yeah.
- 10:19It was crazy. So it was really interesting.
- 10:21But yeah, there was no real like turning point when I decided
- 10:24this is exactly what I want to do.
- 10:27We are talking to the author of No Stilettos on the Field,
- 10:30available on Amazon, CEO of BG Sports and Enterprises and
- 10:36sports agent Brittany Gilman. You know, it's first of all, I'm
- 10:39a big. It's my favorite movie.
- 10:40Jerry Maguire is my favorite movie.
- 10:42I love Tom Cruise and I love the sports agent.
- 10:45I was looking at that path, but I was like, you know what?
- 10:48I want to deal with that. I want to deal with that.
- 10:50Show me. I like to show me my show me the
- 10:52money thing. I love Cuban Goodman Junior, but
- 10:54what are the chances I'm going to bump into a crazy person like
- 10:56that? I'm I'm, I'm crazy enough on
- 10:59this show. So I wasn't.
- 11:01I wasn't, Yeah, yeah, Amen is right.
- 11:03So my personality was fit to do this.
- 11:05And I, I was an athlete as well. I played hockey at a high level.
- 11:08So it was, it was different. And I I thought, hey, you know
- 11:11what I'm going to do? I'm going to use my personality
- 11:14and my craziness and bring it into the sports world a
- 11:16different way. And, and by the way, since
- 11:18you've been on the show, we've become a top 100 show right now
- 11:22in America on Spotify and Apple. And it's been crazy.
- 11:25Thank you. And, and it's been, it's been a
- 11:27crazy, crazy ride for us and, and, and really for some of the
- 11:30guys that we've worked with in the past.
- 11:32I want to shout out to Jabba Chamberlain.
- 11:34And, and now we have Q as, as a partner in this.
- 11:37It, it, it's, it's a little different when you work with
- 11:39athletes, you got to get to know them, you got to build a
- 11:41relationship with them. And you can have your
- 11:43differences. Obviously you going to have your
- 11:46arguments, which I do all the time with Q.
- 11:48But All in all, you, you build a good relationship and you become
- 11:51brothers and become family. And that's, that's something
- 11:54that I've learned about that. So when you look at the sports
- 11:58world as an agent, when you walk up to somebody, you, you've
- 12:01never spoken to them before and you know, they're a free agent.
- 12:03You know, they, they don't have an agent right now where you're,
- 12:05you're walking up to a young high school athlete now and IL
- 12:09companies and all this other stuff.
- 12:11And, and how am I going to approach?
- 12:12Am I going to approach the parents, the father, the mother,
- 12:15or how do I do it? What do I have to do to get, you
- 12:18know, get their attention? How do you do it?
- 12:20Like what, what is your idea? I don't want to throw, I don't
- 12:23want you to give any of your your information away on how you
- 12:27do it, But how does it work? I mean like, what do you do?
- 12:31So every agency, every agent is different.
- 12:33Everyone has their own approach. Some people are very aggressive
- 12:39and do a lot of recruiting. Other people are more kind of
- 12:41laid back. Let people come to them.
- 12:44I personally, the best and easiest clients and the most
- 12:48authentic relationships are through referrals.
- 12:51So I don't do much recruiting anymore.
- 12:54But I also try to approach whoever it is as a means of I
- 13:00know what I bring to the table and how I can truly help them.
- 13:03Regardless if it's an athlete, high school, which I haven't
- 13:07worked with yet, college pro vet, whoever it is, if it's a
- 13:11parent, if it's a friend, it's like, you know, this is what we
- 13:14do and this is our approach. And if it's a fit for you, we
- 13:17can really help you out. But it's never a matter of like,
- 13:20sign with me, sign with me. I don't chase clients.
- 13:23I don't, you know, make it seem like I would, you know, kiss the
- 13:28ground they walk on, even though you kind of do, you know, all of
- 13:32our clients are kind of put on pedestals.
- 13:33And I think that's important to really show them that you value
- 13:37them, but also to show by doing so.
- 13:40Yeah, I just, I'm very chill and I, I, you know, I've been in
- 13:43this business a really long time.
- 13:45And it's like, look, if you want someone who understands this
- 13:48business in and out, understands it internationally, nationally
- 13:52at all the different levels, that's that's what we do.
- 13:55And if it's a fit, great. If not, cool.
- 13:58I'm not the type of person where I'm going to walk up to him and
- 14:00I'm going to say, Hey, I'm going to make you this amount of money
- 14:03and I'm going to get you this, that and this and that and the
- 14:05other. I'll say, look, I will do
- 14:06everything my possible power to make that come to fruition.
- 14:10But I'm not going to promise you things that I can't guarantee.
- 14:14And I think that that authenticity and honesty goes
- 14:17really far in this business because there's a lot of BS in
- 14:20this business and a lot of people, they look at athletes as
- 14:23a means to make money off of them versus looking at someone
- 14:27and saying, look, I know what I bring to the table.
- 14:29I know and I know how much I can assist you.
- 14:31And I know what we can build together while empowering you
- 14:34and giving you the tools to be successful.
- 14:36Because I'm not going to work with everybody forever.
- 14:38So while I work with them, I'm going to teach you, OK, This is
- 14:41why we do what we do. Learn why we do.
- 14:43Learn about these strategies, learn how to empower your own
- 14:45self so that you don't have to hire people for your entire
- 14:48career unless you want not to. So that's really my approach and
- 14:51it's always been my approach. And you know, I'm doing OK in
- 14:54the business, so you know. So, you know, it's so funny
- 14:58because you, you build this and, and as me as a broadcaster and a
- 15:03personality, you try to figure out, hey, which route do I want
- 15:07to go? And then after you become, your
- 15:10show starts to, you know, get eyes and all that other stuff,
- 15:12all the, all the people start coming out of the woodwork.
- 15:15Everybody they're peeking, they're looking through that
- 15:17little pee hole or whatever the hell they're doing and they're
- 15:19like, hey, maybe we should reach out to these guys.
- 15:22Maybe we should get involved with these guys.
- 15:23Maybe should, we should talk to these guys.
- 15:25And two years ago, three years ago, they had no interest.
- 15:29And, and now it becomes more of an open conversation.
- 15:33And, and that's what I, I think you're right.
- 15:35This business is really a gritty business.
- 15:38You, you can't trust anybody in this business.
- 15:40Everybody's out for themselves. Everybody's looking for
- 15:42themselves. And, and that's what scares me
- 15:44more and more as we grow and, and, and where we see our
- 15:48future. And I think we see our future as
- 15:50one of the best in the country. I really believe that we can
- 15:52compete with anybody in this country.
- 15:54One of the reasons why is because we give different takes
- 15:57that other people don't give. And we don't hide behind a mic
- 16:00where networks are telling us, oh, don't say that you don't
- 16:02want to hurt their feelings. You know, that's not what we do
- 16:06on this show. We try to be ourselves and we
- 16:08try to be straight. And that's when I look at an
- 16:10agent. I've spoken to a couple of
- 16:12agents and some of them interesting and some of them are
- 16:16a bunch of you know what? I, I think they're out of their
- 16:19minds. And, and, and some of the
- 16:21conversations you have, they, oh, I've been in the business
- 16:23for 15 years or 30 years and I know what I see.
- 16:26I, I know talent when I see it. Really.
- 16:28So who do you work with? And then, oh, we can't, we can't
- 16:31give you that information. No, no, no, no, no.
- 16:33You know, I mean, well, you just told me you, you, you know
- 16:36talent. And then so tell me what the
- 16:38kind of talent you work with? Give me a name, throw me a name.
- 16:41Don't be a curveball. Nobody knows, nobody wants to
- 16:43give me any answers. So when somebody comes to you
- 16:46and I'm sure people have come to you and before and they say,
- 16:49hey, listen, Brittany, beautiful woman, everything, there's not
- 16:54many women in this business and it's growing now.
- 16:56But what, what drives you and, and by the way, who do you work
- 17:00with? How did you know?
- 17:01Do you work with anybody out there that I, I know of so I can
- 17:05kind of pin or have a conversation with that person
- 17:07before I decide to hire you? How do you how do you approach
- 17:10this when somebody asks you who you work with and you really
- 17:13can't really give that information out?
- 17:15I just say, I work with a lot of people and then they'll say,
- 17:18well, like who? I'm like, like would you work
- 17:21with anyone that I know? It's like, yes, I do.
- 17:24And then they cry and I'm like, you know, if you really want to
- 17:26find out, you can figure it out for yourself.
- 17:28But I don't really, unless I'm with a client.
- 17:31I mean, it's name dropping to me is really funny.
- 17:33I think there are no, I know there are certain people that
- 17:37they do like to mention names because obviously it elevates
- 17:39you, it establishes you, it legitimizes you.
- 17:42I don't really care what people think of me.
- 17:44If I go to someone and I start telling them what I do and they
- 17:47question me, I'm like, OK, cool. Like I could careless, you know,
- 17:50I don't need to prove anything to anybody.
- 17:52So usually I try to just keep it broad.
- 17:55Sometimes they'll pull one or two names out of me, but I'll
- 17:58ask, OK, well, give me a team or give me a league.
- 18:00Are we talking NFL? Because and I'm not an NFL agent
- 18:03too. So I have to make that clear.
- 18:04Like I'm a international football intermediary and then I
- 18:07represent Olympic athletes. It's agents and, and
- 18:10footballers. So, but yeah, usually I'll, I'll
- 18:14try and like, ask them questions like OK, well, give me a sport.
- 18:17OK, give me a team. And then I'll say, oh, I have
- 18:19this guy, I work with this guy. But you know, usually people are
- 18:23for the most part respectable. And, and if not, like if I upset
- 18:26someone by not answering their question, I'm not really worried
- 18:29about it to be honest. They could Google and and do
- 18:32their research and they can figure it out if they're really
- 18:33that determined. I love upsetting people.
- 18:36It's one of my favorite things to do.
- 18:37It really is I. Swear he do.
- 18:40I love to upset people. I love to piss people off.
- 18:43But hey, you know what? That's that's what makes me
- 18:46different. And and again, you can, you can,
- 18:49you know, open up a carpet, a red carpet for somebody and say,
- 18:52oh, come on down, come on down. Like the price is right.
- 18:55I don't do that. I, I play wheel of fortune with
- 18:57you. That's what I'm doing.
- 18:58And one way or another, you're going bankrupt when you play my
- 19:01game. So that's all I'm going to say
- 19:03anyways. Go ahead, Speedy.
- 19:04Yeah, I was going to ask a World Cup coming up.
- 19:05It's going to be here in the United States and and North
- 19:08America, I should say, and a lot of different locations,
- 19:10including in New York and obviously outside of Mexico.
- 19:13Like you, you see the the north, the northwest part of the world,
- 19:16not as like high with soccer. It's growing in the United
- 19:19States. Obviously the women's are very
- 19:20good with the United States team, but obviously the European
- 19:23still the powerhouse. So what are your thoughts on on
- 19:25the World Cup growing the game both here and obviously getting
- 19:28the international audience acclimated on the American side?
- 19:32I love the hat. I mean, it's, it's really
- 19:35exciting for someone that works in both sports and seeing the
- 19:40growth in the past. I mean, I've been working with,
- 19:43I'll say soccer because we're in America, but it's football
- 19:45anywhere else. I've been working with soccer
- 19:47now for, you know, close to close to a decade and it's grown
- 19:51tremendously and it's it's still growing.
- 19:53And obviously the influx of high profile players like Messi have
- 19:58and Olivia Giroux and like all these European superstars have
- 20:02really elevated the game now. In my opinion, like I'm
- 20:05surprised I haven't seen more advertising and capitalization
- 20:09on the opportunity and the moment as I have thus far.
- 20:13Like obviously we're still a couple months out.
- 20:15But you know, being someone who works in this space, like I
- 20:18don't really see a lot of World Cup, World Cup.
- 20:21And it's really interesting because I wasn't expecting that
- 20:24at all. You know, I was really expecting
- 20:25it to be everywhere and plastered everywhere.
- 20:27And mind you, I've been kind of in hibernation for the winter
- 20:30because in the winter I snowboard.
- 20:32So I'm living in Colorado in the mountains and I snowboard and
- 20:35work and so I'm like a little recluse.
- 20:37So I'm just now stepping back out into the streets.
- 20:41So I was in Miami this past weekend, but I, I mean, it was
- 20:43F1, but I didn't see one thing about, you know, the World Cup.
- 20:48And I know there's many different host cities and I
- 20:51think it depends on the city. So I'll be in LA soon and I'll,
- 20:54I'm sure I'll start to see bits and pieces of it, but I think
- 20:57it's incredible. I think it's one of the most
- 20:59exciting sports in the world. That's also one of the most
- 21:01accessible sports in the world. And I think that's really
- 21:03important. My my sport.
- 21:06Snowboarding is not cheap and and that limits the amount of
- 21:09people that are able to snowboard.
- 21:11But something like soccer is you need a ball, right?
- 21:14You could play soccer on the street.
- 21:15You can play it in your house, you can play it in the backyard,
- 21:17you can play it anywhere. And that's why I think it's one
- 21:20of the largest sports globally. But I'm I'm excited.
- 21:23I love it. It's incredible and you know
- 21:26it's to there there's something different.
- 21:29If you guys have ever been to a soccer match internationally,
- 21:32like it's Premier League or any of the top leagues, it's you
- 21:36can't really explain it. You just have to be there to
- 21:39feel the energy and and even in like the championship and just
- 21:44the energy that these stadiums allude is just it's insane.
- 21:48And not that NFL doesn't have the same energy, but it's
- 21:50different and the songs and the chants and like it's it's a
- 21:54different vibe. So to be able to bring that here
- 21:56to America with teams from all over the world is so exciting
- 22:00and so incredible because sports unites people.
- 22:04And I think that it's cool that it's happening right after the
- 22:07Winter Olympics and that, you know, there's so much going on
- 22:10in this world that's terrible and not going to get into any of
- 22:13the terrible things going on. But I think sports ISM is a way
- 22:17that can help unite all of us. And, and so that's why I'm, I'm,
- 22:21I'm really grateful that the US gets to be the host country and
- 22:24I'm excited to see what happens and, and how soccer grows after
- 22:28this summer in the States. Yeah, I think so too.
- 22:32I think that, you know, sports, food and music is probably the
- 22:35top three things that can unite everybody.
- 22:38You know, no matter your Democrat, that background,
- 22:40wherever you coming from, I think it's one of those it's
- 22:43those top three right there. I think you can bring anybody to
- 22:47to the table. But I want to speak about some
- 22:50of that. You mentioned earlier about
- 22:52dealing with athletes with their highs and lows and as a brand
- 22:56architect, what would you say that's a, that's a two-part
- 22:58question, But like as a brand architect, what would you say
- 23:01is, well, that the foot mostly what is the most amount of money
- 23:07that football players have left on the table bearing the
- 23:09limitations that kind of come with the sport?
- 23:12That's a tough question I don't have an answer to.
- 23:15I don't have a number for you because every single athlete is
- 23:18different, right? Every single athlete, you know,
- 23:20their contracts are different, their monthly overhead is
- 23:24different. Some athletes take care of a lot
- 23:27of people, you know, it trickles down and that's very difficult
- 23:33as an athlete to deal with that type of situation.
- 23:36And so it really just depends on the individual.
- 23:40How well do they invest their money?
- 23:41Are they spending it on stupid stuff?
- 23:44Like I've had athletes that love to go to the club and like we
- 23:47would have summers where they will go to the club like five
- 23:50nights a week, you know, and just, it was really fun.
- 23:54But I guarantee you now when they're retired and they have
- 23:57four children and they're thinking of, Oh my gosh, how
- 24:00much money I spent on bottles, like worth it.
- 24:06So it's just really depends on the individual.
- 24:09But that's why financial literacy is so important.
- 24:12And there's been a lot of growth in that space in the past
- 24:15decade, thank goodness. And that's enabled a lot of
- 24:18athletes to be more educated and wiser about their money and
- 24:22their investments. But yeah, I'm sorry I don't have
- 24:25an answer for you, because I don't think there is an answer
- 24:27for. That's not like an all set
- 24:29answer. It was just more so about your
- 24:30overview in regards to your expertise as you've been dealing
- 24:33with athletes for S amount of years.
- 24:35So it's kind of like one of those things like, you know, one
- 24:37of those pinpoint examples that you kind of put a lot like,
- 24:40yeah, this probably was a deal that, you know, this particular
- 24:43athlete probably could have made upwards of, you know, a couple
- 24:47hundred extra 1000. But you know, you know, it was
- 24:50other things that interfered with that.
- 24:52But you also spoke about, you know, the post career.
- 24:57And I want to kind of get in to get your insight in regards to
- 25:01what have you seen or maybe your company have offered and helping
- 25:05athletes transition in that process to kind of get them more
- 25:09on a successful path or at least a stable path as they coming out
- 25:13of the league? Yeah.
- 25:14And that's a very important and a very serious thing that
- 25:19happens to every single professional athlete.
- 25:21And I do actually have an answer for your previous question.
- 25:23So I'll, I'll go answer this one first and then I want to circle
- 25:26back to it because I did think it's something I'd love to say,
- 25:28OK. But The thing is, like, it's
- 25:31inevitable for any single athlete and whoever we work
- 25:35with. I'm very, very transparent, open
- 25:37and honest. And I'm like, look, you're not
- 25:38going to play the sport forever. This is the chapter in your
- 25:41life. It's going to fly by.
- 25:42What can we do while you're a professional athlete to help you
- 25:46plant seeds? Now that will help make that
- 25:49transition smoother. And it's never easy.
- 25:52Some athletes go through it easily, though.
- 25:55Some athletes breeze through it. Other guys, the complete
- 25:58opposite end of the spectrum. I've noticed a very consistent
- 26:02trend of athletes that you know, and it's very common, like you
- 26:06think of sport as their identity.
- 26:07This is who they are. They've spent their entire life
- 26:11dedicated on this one thing. And so when that thing is over,
- 26:17a lot of athletes are lost and they don't necessarily know who
- 26:21are they. And suddenly the phone stops
- 26:23ringing. They stop getting text messages,
- 26:25people stop saying their name, people stop caring.
- 26:27They lose followers. And so when we work with guys, I
- 26:31do my very best to try to shift their perspective on looking at
- 26:36themselves while they're in the league and understanding a This
- 26:39is a chapter be how can I understand what's real and
- 26:43what's not real and not take not take this to heart and know this
- 26:48is going to happen. So by being prepared mentally
- 26:50for helping athletes explore other avenues like, OK, what
- 26:55else are you passionate about? Do you like to cook?
- 26:57Do you do you like giving back to the community?
- 26:59Do you like animals? Do you like broadcasting?
- 27:02What can we do now? And we weave those into their
- 27:05strategy while they're in the league.
- 27:07And then we start bringing opportunities to the table in
- 27:09those spaces so that they can not only explore an area to kind
- 27:13of see, oh, I want to do a clothing line.
- 27:15OK, well, let's do a clothing line.
- 27:17Now they're doing a clothing line.
- 27:18And I don't really want to do a clothing line, but we like
- 27:22fashion. Oh, I love fashion.
- 27:23OK, come to a Fashion Week, let's do Paris Fashion Week.
- 27:26Let's see if there's something there.
- 27:27So it's a journey. And it's really just working
- 27:30with each individual to kind of help them identify what, what
- 27:33other passions do they have? And sometimes you have to try
- 27:36things to really understand if it's for you or not.
- 27:38But by doing that, it helps to open up their minds to realize,
- 27:42like, I'm not football, like I play football.
- 27:46This is who I am right now. This has defined a big, huge
- 27:49part of who I am my entire life. But it isn't who I am.
- 27:54It's just what I do. So how do you make that
- 27:57distinction? And when we do that, it makes
- 28:00that transition a lot easier. But it's never going to be easy
- 28:03to hang up the cleats. It's it's never easy.
- 28:05You know, this is as an athlete, you know, I made a comeback.
- 28:08It's snowboarding after 17 years and.
- 28:11I'm great. Non competing, you know, so it's
- 28:14it's difficult. Yeah, channeling it to a
- 28:16different area, but yeah, same athlete though.
- 28:19Yeah. But to go back to that other
- 28:21question, one thing I want to say is that what a lot of
- 28:24athletes don't understand is the power that they give their
- 28:28management and the representation.
- 28:30And I'm talking about the gatekeeper.
- 28:32And the gatekeeper can be the agent, it can be a friend, it
- 28:34can be a financial advisor, it can be anyone who wears that hat
- 28:38and, and opens the door to that person.
- 28:41And this happens almost on a daily basis where because I
- 28:44stored a lot of opportunities, not just for our own clients,
- 28:47but I have a sports tech startup and we connect talent to
- 28:50opportunities globally. So I'm constantly speaking to
- 28:53different agents and bringing opportunities to their talent.
- 28:57And what happens all the time and happened today is a agent
- 29:01sent me several athletes and their pricing, which was
- 29:03astronomical and way beyond what we would ever pay these
- 29:06athletes. And, and, you know, I was like,
- 29:09I was very straightforward, like, I'm sorry, this is 3 times
- 29:12as much as we're playing athletes with, you know, larger
- 29:14platforms than this. But what happens is that their
- 29:17athletes didn't even know that this opportunity was brought to
- 29:20the table. And maybe it's not as much as
- 29:22their agent wanted, but the athlete doesn't know.
- 29:25So the athlete would maybe do this for five GS or 10 with the
- 29:30agent saying 2030 K. So it's so important to
- 29:33understand like the power you give someone to represent you
- 29:37and to have those conversations. Like look, I don't care if
- 29:39they're offering me a small amount.
- 29:41I want to know what is coming to the table because it's finding
- 29:45talent is a lot easier than finding money from brands and
- 29:49events and things like that. So anyway, that's just one thing
- 29:51that came to mind and wanted to share.
- 29:53That's good. That's good stuff.
- 29:55We are talking to CEO of BG Sports and Enterprises and
- 29:59sports agent Brittany Gilman. She's been on her show.
- 30:02She has a new book out on Amazon.
- 30:04No stilettos on the field before we let you go because I know
- 30:07you're a busy person and hey, we all are.
- 30:10And we for me to have you on the show like we always do, I'd like
- 30:14to see all the different guests that we've had.
- 30:17You're in and you're out what they're doing.
- 30:19So obviously you're still an agent, you're snowboarding, but
- 30:22are you doing anything else? Is there anything going on in
- 30:24your life? Are you dating?
- 30:26Are you, what are you doing? Is there anything else that
- 30:29you're doing? My dating.
- 30:31I'm not really dating. I'm open to dating but I'm very
- 30:35picky. I I figured.
- 30:39Yeah, one of the things, well, besides writing a book, which
- 30:41took a long time, I and, and all the businessy stuff.
- 30:46I mean, I, I love the travel, I love to go to sporting events.
- 30:51I am blessed that I make business and all the sporting
- 30:55events I want to go to. So therefore it's business, but
- 30:58it's also me being able to go to the Monaco Grand Prix and, you
- 31:03know, do all these really cool things and I make it my
- 31:06business. But I don't know, to be totally
- 31:08transparent, work really takes up a lot of my time.
- 31:11And yeah, that's, that's about it.
- 31:15I mean, I'm planning out my summer, which is going to be
- 31:17absolutely insane all over Europe.
- 31:19I have to go from, like, Marseille to Milan to Paris to
- 31:23London to LA to London. Like it's going to be just
- 31:26bizarre. So I've been, you know, enjoying
- 31:28my hermit life, preparing to come back into the sunshine and
- 31:34not, you know, be a antisocial snowboarder.
- 31:38I, I like to travel too. And, and years and years ago I
- 31:41used to go on tour as a DJ and I, I've been all over the place,
- 31:44got a chance to see New Zealand, Amsterdam and all the different
- 31:46places and some of the crazy, crazy crowds of people.
- 31:49Because if anybody's never been to Europe, if they love their
- 31:53music a lot different than it is here, they're they're into the
- 31:56house and the craziness and, and all these different open field
- 32:00events that they have over there.
- 32:01It is crazy. And if you've never been to
- 32:04those events, and again, if you've never been overseas
- 32:07watching, going to see a European football game or
- 32:10something of that magnitude, go check it out.
- 32:11It is really, really fun. It's a little crazy.
- 32:14And each each team, if you ever seen what is it gank.
- 32:19I'm trying to remember what the movies called something
- 32:23hooligans, Green St. hooligans. Go check out that movie.
- 32:27That's a that's a great movie. There is some truth to that
- 32:31there. These fans have their own gangs
- 32:34and they fight sometimes after the game.
- 32:37It is crazy. It's a lot different than
- 32:40American football or baseball, even though they do fight, you
- 32:44know, out there in the games. But this is different.
- 32:46This is a lot different. So, but I we really appreciate
- 32:50the time. You're you're sensational.
- 32:52Keep up the good work. We'll get you on again and keep
- 32:56moving. Keep moving.
- 32:57Thank you. You guys got to get my book
- 32:59though, like it's it's really meant to inspire people, not
- 33:03just in sports. So it it gives complete insight
- 33:07into this business, what it's actually about the situations
- 33:10you get in, How do you handle those situations?
- 33:12How do parents navigate the space?
- 33:14How do you choose a agent? The difference of agents and
- 33:17it's overall inspiring and and you know, that was my goal with
- 33:21it. So I, you know, I, I was very
- 33:23vulnerable and open in the book and I gave it everything I can.
- 33:27So you know, hopefully you guys will love it and leave a review.
- 33:30Yeah, We'll, we'll get it and we we'll like to get it signed as
- 33:34well. That that'll be, that'll be
- 33:36great. That'll be.
- 33:37Great. We would, we would.
- 33:38And, and it's a funny thing. I have a friend that actually
- 33:40writes for us. He worked for Sports
- 33:42Illustrated. He said, I can't wait until the
- 33:45book comes out about you and some of the crazy crap that
- 33:48you've been through in your life.
- 33:49And and now, you know, I said my story has just begun and then I
- 33:53got to deal with this guy over here in the corner every single
- 33:56time. I mean, this story is just begun
- 33:58with me and him. I could only imagine what's
- 34:01going to happen in the future when it comes to me and him.
- 34:03But hey, it's to me. And by the way, I want to give a
- 34:06shout out to this guy right over here, right here under me right
- 34:09now. This guy is one of the best
- 34:11broadcasters in the business. I don't think he gets enough
- 34:13credit. He's and speedy.
- 34:16I may, I, may I do this. This kid is autistic.
- 34:18I, I don't, I don't think anybody knows this, but what he
- 34:22does in this industry, it's, it's not being being taught.
- 34:27This guy has learned on the fly. I've worked with him for 10
- 34:30years and this guy's one of the best in the business.
- 34:33I don't think people give him enough credit for where, where
- 34:35he's gone and, and how he's grown in this industry.
- 34:38So I, it's pretty amazing. And there's a lot of opportunity
- 34:41that he's going to have in the future because of the ability
- 34:44that he has to give fans and people in this business,
- 34:48autistic kids that want to be in this business, a chance to
- 34:52believe that they can do what he's doing.
- 34:54So it's pretty amazing. So you see, I gave you a
- 34:56compliment, Speedy. Look at that.
- 34:59I give you a Golf Club. Golf Club golf.
- 35:01Club. That was a really nice
- 35:02compliment. I always do.
- 35:03I do compliments, except to this guy.
- 35:05This guy over here in the corner, I am not complimenting
- 35:08him at any. Stage That was a.
- 35:11Good off, off air, off air. I do compliment him in some edge
- 35:15of the word, but hey, there are other things that I do that I do
- 35:19piss him off. Anyways, Brittany.
- 35:21Thank you, Brittany for coming up.
- 35:22Brittany, thank you for coming on.
- 35:23Great joy and delight to. Us, yes.
- 35:26And I won't let him dig us in no deeper hole.
- 35:29I'm not. Digging anybody in any deeper
- 35:31hole. I mean, I have given Brittany an
- 35:34opportunity to be herself. Thank you guys.
- 35:37Can you, can you share that graphic?
- 35:39Because I like that graphic, that graphic.
- 35:42We haven't said it to you. Yeah.
- 35:44Thank you guys. I really appreciate you guys for
- 35:46having me on. Congratulations on all this
- 35:48class and I'll be excited to watch and see how much you
- 35:51continue to grow and just excel at everything you guys do Thank
- 35:54you so. Appreciate that.
- 35:55Really appreciate. You thanks guys.
- 35:57Brittany Gilman, ladies and gentlemen.
- 36:00She's got a book out called No Stilettos on the Field available
- 36:04on Amazon. And she's also the CEO of BG
- 36:08Sports Enterprises and she's a sports agent.
- 36:11And by the way, Nith, you need to get that book, baby.
- 36:14You need to get that book, book, book, book because hey, you're a
- 36:17sports agent and you're, you're doing all the all the back end
- 36:20stuff. So I'm helping you out, Nith,
- 36:22helping you out, my friend. As we always say, Nithin always
- 36:26likes to. I need a blow pop, get a blow
- 36:29pop. Anyways, yeah, we got another
- 36:31segment to go. All righty then.
- 36:38Alrighty then. Alrighty.
- 36:45Then alrighty then. Welcome back to our literary
- 36:48segment. Hey, great interview guys with
- 36:51Brittany Gilman just now, which will always release our
- 36:54interviews. If you don't listen to us live
- 36:56on Sundays, they're going to be cut up for you on video
- 37:00throughout the Internet and you can always get our stuff on
- 37:03Apple and Spotify. Make her squirt, make me jerk.
- 37:09That we're going to talk about now.
- 37:10We're going to talk about the worldwidesportsradio.com website
- 37:14where we house a lot of our clips from the show as well as
- 37:17all of the writing done by Errol, who writes basically
- 37:21everyday really great articles we are having.
- 37:23If you're not part of this crew that's visiting our website,
- 37:26then you're not part of about 400,000 people that are doing it
- 37:30every month. Come and check out the website,
- 37:32check out some of these articles, including the one
- 37:35we're going to do a little excerpt of of right now.
- 37:38After I read a little excerpt, Speedy's going to read some
- 37:40comments from Reddit because these articles are posted in
- 37:43Reddit. And if you want to comment on
- 37:46the air to reach the air, comment on our Reddit articles.
- 37:50Speedy, what's that handle? We can tell everybody.
- 37:52To go to. It is.
- 37:55It's worldwide sports radio network powered by New York
- 37:57Sports Lab now. So it's the same as our
- 38:00Facebook. All right, so you can find us in
- 38:03both of those spots. Let's take a look at the article
- 38:06today. And we're going to stay in Long
- 38:08Island, Errol, and talk about Trevor Bauer on the Ducks.
- 38:12Here's your article from May 3rd.
- 38:14Trevor Bauer is out here striking out the Atlantic League
- 38:17like it owes him money. So what exactly does MLB want
- 38:21from him? A blood sacrifice.
- 38:23So let's take a look at some of the this article.
- 38:27Here's a picture of Bauer as the duck.
- 38:30Trevor Bauer is currently down in the ALPB, treating
- 38:33professional hitters like they accidentally keyed his car.
- 38:36Three starts, three statements, zero mercy.
- 38:39Saturday, another masterpiece. Bauer shoved again. 6 innings,
- 38:43one run, six hits, 10 strikeouts.
- 38:46No walks, 101 pitches, 69 strikes.
- 38:50We go on. Washed up according to who?
- 38:52The same people who think A5 2 ERA is veteran leadership.
- 38:57Trevor Bauer is 35 years old and being called washed by people
- 39:00watching half the league run outfit starters who throw 91
- 39:04miles an hour with the movement of a lawn chair.
- 39:06Meanwhile Bauer is missing bats commanding the zone, throwing
- 39:11100 plus pitches, looking healthier than half of modern
- 39:14rotations. So if he's washed then what are
- 39:17some of these ML back ends? MLB back end starters dishwater
- 39:22MLB's Bower problem. They don't want to admit they
- 39:24might have been wrong. Let's be real, this is stopped
- 39:28being about baseball. If this were purely performance
- 39:31based, Bower would already be on a roster because MLB team sign
- 39:35reclamation projects every year. Guys coming off Tommy John, guys
- 39:39with eras north of six, guys who haven't been good since Vine was
- 39:43still popular. But Bower?
- 39:45He's pitching like a man trying to get revenge on every front
- 39:48office in America, and they still act like he's invisible.
- 39:51Why? Because MLB doesn't know how to
- 39:54handle people who don't play their little political game
- 39:59Speedy. All right, so most of the
- 40:01comments are on the negative side for this week.
- 40:04We'll start with this one. Reddit Canada 7 eating no hitter
- 40:07for who? Against who?
- 40:08If you're bragging about this being a no hitter, you're
- 40:10probably lost. Hold on one second and thank you
- 40:13Reddit Canada for your giving us your take and we appreciate your
- 40:16comment. This league is a professional
- 40:19league. You want to say that they're not
- 40:21Major League hitters, that's fine.
- 40:23This is a guy that has dominated everywhere.
- 40:25He's gone. He's gone to Japan, he's won a
- 40:27Cy Young in America, he's gone to Mexico, won a Cy Young over
- 40:31there. What more does he need to do?
- 40:32He comes to the Ducks, he wants to do it for the fans.
- 40:35He wants to be back in America, sign autographs and be a face of
- 40:38baseball again and you're going to attack him because he hasn't
- 40:42pitched against anybody. Good.
- 40:43There are ex baseball players in the in the Ducks league.
- 40:47It's not that we're going to sit here and we're going to attack
- 40:49him because oh, it's not anybody that you think or you know, how
- 40:53about this? Give him some credit for what
- 40:55he's done everywhere he goes. He succeeded, succeeds, and he
- 40:58does it at a top level all. Right next one.
- 41:00This was boss MT2. Bauer has an attitude problem
- 41:03and he doesn't get paid despite winning until he won a Cy Young,
- 41:06which was in 2020 with the Reds. In the shortened season, was
- 41:09traded twice while he was cheap because his teammates hated him.
- 41:12Hey boss, and thank you for giving us your take.
- 41:15He's got an attitude problem. I can name a lot of great
- 41:19players that had attitude problems.
- 41:21Bobby, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, practically everybody
- 41:26in the majors had attitude problems.
- 41:28Mark McGuire, here's the facts. This guy didn't ask for any
- 41:33money to come to America. As a matter of fact, he's making
- 41:35no money and he told the MLB and 2017.
- 41:39He said this to me when I interviewed him.
- 41:42He said that he will play for free and whatever they pay him,
- 41:46he will donate it to whatever organization they want him to
- 41:48donate it to. So he's not there for money,
- 41:51He's not wanting to play Major League Baseball for money.
- 41:54So why don't you give him a chance?
- 41:55He didn't do anything wrong as far as what he was he was
- 41:59accused for. He was accused for something
- 42:01that he eventually got off on so and he's not.
- 42:05And by the way, some lady owes him money.
- 42:07Missus Hill owes him how much money, $300,000, who by the way,
- 42:11hasn't paid him yet. So how about this?
- 42:14Give him a little bit of credit for what he's done all.
- 42:16Right. This one's a, this one's a new
- 42:17one, actually. This was somebody that was at
- 42:19the game. This is freaking Eddie.
- 42:21And he didn't think he was that impressive.
- 42:23More of a case of the Lancaster Stormers I guess, one being one
- 42:25of the worst teams in the Atlantic League.
- 42:28Freaking Eddie. And by the way, the Lancaster
- 42:30Stormers are probably that bad. But guess what?
- 42:337 inks, no hit ball striking out, doing what he does best,
- 42:39throwing 10 pitches. Hey freaking Eddie, thank you
- 42:42for giving us your take. But here's my question.
- 42:44How many pitchers in the American League throw 10
- 42:47pitches? That's my question to all you
- 42:49guys. How many do it at a high level?
- 42:53The answer is no one. Nobody in the major leagues.
- 42:57And by the way, he was topping off at 96 mph, so he's still
- 43:01throwing 96 mile per hour fastballs.
- 43:03So what does that tell you guys? It tells you dominant.
- 43:06If it's not impressive and you want to point fingers and say
- 43:09that he's not impressive, that's fine.
- 43:10That's your opinion. What I've seen is this guy goes
- 43:13everywhere and dominates everywhere.
- 43:15Take that. All right, this one from DJ
- 43:18Parody Power is the human equivalent of If the tree falls
- 43:22in the forest, saying go away already.
- 43:25Okay, thank you. What is it?
- 43:27DJ Parody. DJ Parody.
- 43:29You might be a DJ. I'm a DJ too.
- 43:31So I'm going to spin this all the parody.
- 43:33I'm going to scratch this for you because I could be human
- 43:37too, and I could be crazy. If you don't like him, don't
- 43:41watch. If you got something to say
- 43:43about him, spin it another way. Stop throwing things and stop
- 43:47burning on this guy and thinking that this guy is not what he
- 43:50says he is. He's everything he says he is.
- 43:53He's never beat around the Bush. And by the way, his social
- 43:57medias are as big as any Major League team right now in the
- 44:01league. He has more followers, more
- 44:03watches, and more likes than any team in the majors.
- 44:07What does that say? All right, last one from
- 44:10Positive AZ Bauer is an effing joke, trying to make a career
- 44:14out of spite. Now and then he says this is
- 44:16fun, let him keep going. Positive AZ he's a effing joke.
- 44:24Well, let me ask you a question I I I'm an effing joke.
- 44:27I'm a little crazy. I I come out with some crazy
- 44:30stuff out of his mouth of mine. How how about this?
- 44:34His career has been pretty damn special.
- 44:38Maybe he doesn't have over 200 wins.
- 44:40Maybe he hasn't pitched enough in the major leagues to give him
- 44:43an opportunity to ever go to the Hall of Fame, which he'll never
- 44:46go. But here's what I would say.
- 44:48How many pitchers in Major League history went to separate
- 44:53leagues, separate leagues and won Cy Youngs?
- 44:57The answer 1 and you know that is Trevor Ballard.
- 45:01So for all you guys that don't like Trevor Bauer and think that
- 45:05he's not worth anything, well, guess what?
- 45:08I've got news for you guys. He's worth more than what you
- 45:11say he is. Because this guy goes out there
- 45:14on social media and everybody watches, everybody checks out
- 45:18his stuff and everybody's interesting what he has to say
- 45:20to baseball fans and kids. So if you don't like them, don't
- 45:25watch, period. Don't watch them give up on it.
- 45:30Stop throwing this guy under the bus.
- 45:32So that's my opinion, by the way, thank you positive AC.
- 45:36I'm not attacking you, but I, I think that there's a lot of
- 45:38haters out there. There are a lot of haters out
- 45:40there with this guy. And by the way, I just want to
- 45:42make an announcement. We are coming out with a new
- 45:45show connected to this network called the Bronx Bombcast.
- 45:50Me and Nick Goody are going to be doing it once a week on this
- 45:54network and we're working on something special.
- 45:57And but hopefully this we get it done that we're going to bring
- 46:01Trevor Bauer on the show and we're going to call it the Bauer
- 46:04hour and we're going to talk baseball with him.
- 46:05We're going to have some fun with him.
- 46:07And I think it'll be great for him to have his voice heard and
- 46:11and not only in baseball, but what he's doing outside of
- 46:14baseball. I think it's a you want to hate
- 46:16him, you want to hate people and, and fine, you don't you
- 46:19disrespect him. You don't like what he's done in
- 46:22the past. I would say this for all the
- 46:24fans out there, there are a lot of people that don't like me.
- 46:27I, I would say there's more than a handful of people that don't
- 46:30like me. I get a lot of angry mail.
- 46:33I get a lot of interesting direct messages.
- 46:36Especially when you talk about Shidor Sanders.
- 46:38I get a lot and I laugh at it and I, I give him a nice smile
- 46:42and I, I answer back to every one of you guys and I, I say I,
- 46:46I, I answer with respect. And here's what I would say to
- 46:50people that don't like Trevor Bauer.
- 46:53If you don't like somebody, don't watch it, don't check him
- 46:58out. Why are people consistently
- 47:02looking and liking some of his stuff?
- 47:04Dude, he posted up something recently at 55,000 likes, so he
- 47:10must be doing something right. I, I'd say he's doing a lot
- 47:13right. So to me, Trevor Bauer is to me
- 47:16is a home run, home run for social media, home run for
- 47:19political sports and, and music and whatever he wants to talk
- 47:23about because he's got something to say.
- 47:26And every time he has something to say, people listen.
- 47:29And that's what I say about myself.
- 47:31Listen, you don't like it, kiss my ass.
- 47:33That's it. Thank you.
- 47:34We have a new producer. He's going to be joining us.
- 47:37He's getting to know who we are Sam ad he's right there in the
- 47:40corner. We really appreciate him joining
- 47:42us and and he's going to be working with us on on so many
- 47:45things on the back end and the front end of the stuff.
- 47:47So we thank everybody that tunes into us on every single profile.
- 47:51I never thank anybody on Roku and somebody actually reached
- 47:55out to me the other day and says I watch your show on Roku all
- 47:58the time. And I said, so I'm going to
- 48:00thank all the people that are tuned in on Roku, watching our
- 48:04show, interacting. If we can't see you, I
- 48:07apologize. We can't see you.
- 48:08And there's another stupid thing Fish is posting up.
- 48:11Shout out to the Roku Nation, baby.
- 48:13Yes, thank you to all the Spotify and Apple fans on video
- 48:18and audio, all the downloads, all the views, all the videos
- 48:23and all the other stuff. Thank you to the TikTok,
- 48:26Instagram and X fans, New York sports loudmouth, YouTube, our
- 48:31YouTube fans and we are that we have a couple of them on, still
- 48:34on. It's crazy.
- 48:35We do our show from 7:00 to 11:00.
- 48:37It's, it's, it's a long one, but I will say this, this is like
- 48:41the prime time for sports and, and a lot of guys go in and out.
- 48:44It's it's not easy. We're not doing prime time for
- 48:47radio shows. We're doing prime time for
- 48:49sports and, and, and people are sitting there and watching our
- 48:51show throughout the show. So everybody that tunes.
- 48:54And by the way, after we're live, we take the video off.
- 48:58So you cannot watch it on our YouTube channel, the full video.
- 49:02So the only way you can see it is on Spotify and Apple.
- 49:05So I want to let all the fans know that we do not keep it.
- 49:07We only do with this live on video.
- 49:10So you can watch us when you're interacting and you can interact
- 49:13during our live events. But we really appreciate all the
- 49:17fans. Sweetie, who do we have on
- 49:19Monday? And.
- 49:19Thursday, joining at 8:20 on Monday, Mr. Invincible, Vince
- 49:22Papale, the first undrafted free agent, the first player in the
- 49:25NFL history, did not play college football.
- 49:28He'll join us at 8:20. And then on Thursday, Greg Oden,
- 49:31former NBA player and was saying some of the directors of his new
- 49:35movie as well. Yes, and, and I've been
- 49:37following Greg and he's doing some things and he has a
- 49:40clothing line. He's doing all these crazy
- 49:42things and Greg was expected to be one of the better big men
- 49:46when he was drafted by the Trail Blazers.
- 49:49Obviously, it didn't happen that way.
- 49:51He had problems with his leg and his feet and all that other
- 49:55stuff. So we all know the background of
- 49:56Greg Odin story and the guy that was drafted right behind him,
- 50:00Kevin Durant. So we know his career and Hall
- 50:03of Fame career. So I'm excited about that.
- 50:05I've never interviewed Greg Odin.
- 50:07I have Vince Popoli, but I I know Vince.
- 50:10I met him in Miami. Very nice guy.
- 50:12He's got great stories. I think everybody will enjoy his
- 50:15storytelling. And if you never seen the movie
- 50:18Invincible, Mark Wahlberg, great, great, great movie.
- 50:21Disney movie. Anyways, that's it for our show,
- 50:24ladies and gentlemen. Hopefully you don't use any
- 50:27paddles like Bill Simmons did when he was a kid and don't
- 50:31smack each other. And you know what?
- 50:32Goodnight. Goodnight worldwide.
- 50:35Sports Radio Network.
