Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I got uh listening to some details about Taylor Swift's upcoming wedding.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Tell me, uh tell me you're contradicting yourself when you want to have it a private affair, but it's at Madison Square Garden.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, is that where they're gonna do it?
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: July 3rd.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: You wanna know why they're doing that though?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Is uh there's no windows.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Cause I'm sure she wants total control over what pictures are released.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: How they're released, because you know, she's not one to be like, oh, it's just a random shot of her walking down the aisle, and then somebody's like, and she doesn't like it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: She won't no, this will be very, though.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Uh no, I understand that, but uh also it they're gonna be blocking streets around it.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: My God, if you were a New Yorker, I mean, it's different when it's a concert and stuff like that because you could either participate or you know the energy around a concert.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Sometimes people like, okay, when you lived in Cleveland, yeah, were you ever just downtown?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Because I worked in Cleveland and I remember this vividly.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: When you uh were downtown and there was something happening at the arena, there was an energy all around it.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Whether you were in for the show or not, you're like, oh, you get kind of caught up.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: In fact, I remember when uh I was way younger, working at a radio station there, there would be like a uh baseball game going on for the Guardians.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: There'd be a concert going on at the arena.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: We'd be down where all the clubs were in an old place which is no longer really there called the Flats.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: It was energized, right?
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: You didn't mind that roads were all detoured and stuff, but for somebody's wedding that you're not even involved in, by the way, one more.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: No actual invitation sent out.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: It's all by text.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's interesting.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: How about that?
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: They want to keep it uh somewhat, I don't know how you keep it, I don't know how you keep a lid on it at this point.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: It's all out.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: But if you have the text, is it like a QR code?
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And then they they scan that when you go into the door.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: That probably for her, yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: At least with the Madison Square Garden thing, because when you think of weddings, like let's say you want a barn wedding, then you're going to go to a barn.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: And if you want a more um like garden wedding, then you're gonna go to a garden.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: But being that rich, you can create whatever you want.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: If you want that garden wedding, you just put a garden inside Madison Square Garden.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Pretty much.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, is it gonna be like sellout capacity or that's what I don't know.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Like how you know I don't think and I you I was floor only?
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: You would have to right, you would have to cover up all of the concert seats.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's a huge that's a huge space.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of sheets.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, it is.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: You have to drape.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: That's so weird.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Uh, just to hit some text messages really quick.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Uh, the usual sus suspects.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Lauren 4441, John 317, and Iliana also 1336 in there.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Somebody said no excuse not to smoke food scon.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, that was John 317.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: He's always smoking something.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: No, I'm back, I'm back in the mode now.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I I may really suck it out of me.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I had no interest in being on the deck at all during May.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I totally understand that.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: But now it's like really consistent great weather.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: 1336.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Speaking of ribs, on our way home from uh the concert on Saturday, we stopped in Geneva to eat it, smoking Pete's barbecue.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Excellent ribs, some of the best barbecue.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: I've ate there once.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: You're right.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: It is so good.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, I have to remember that.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Oh, they must have gone up to Darius.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Oh Saturday, because Friday was the Shantae and Trey Songs.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, yes.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: So they must have been at Darius.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, very cool.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, that that makes sense.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: That or oh yeah, they said Saturday, because I know Teddy Swims was on Friday at CMAC.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Speaking of, two people recently have come up to my boyfriend and told him that he looks like Teddy Swims.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: We were out on Saturday night.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna look at another picture of this really quick.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: We were out on Saturday night after bike night up in in Hector, and somebody said it there, and then I can't remember where they.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: No, an old boyfriend of yours looks like Teddy Swims.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: So we both said that.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Like five ago.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: I'm like, ha ha racking him up.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: I said I can see.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Sorry, that looks way more like somebody that starts with the letter D than the than Z.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: I can honestly, I can, I can see where there's a little bit of Teddy Swim's energy, but it's really he does not no, no.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: No, not at all.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Because tell me this.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: Hold on.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: I gotta I I I have to I have to here, I have to do this for a minute.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: I knew who you were talking about.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, I know what my ex-boyfriends look like.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, do you?
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Some of them I'd like to forget, but that's all you guys knew there.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Also, good everyone, smoking pizza is the best barbecue in the area.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: You know, I have to say it's it's one of my one of the top two for sure.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: We'll have to set a plan uh to a head to Geneva.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Although I don't find myself in Geneva that much.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: No, but I just recently went for what was that restaurant I was just went?
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Ports.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: I just went for Portsmouth.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: But I would have to say my top three, because Boers Nest was definitely in the top three.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Smoke and Pete's Boars Nest.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Nickel's Pit.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Nichols Pit always delivers for fail to let you down.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: You know, they're always there.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Never.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: They've never let me down.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Also, this one came in on NBA Finals game three tonight at Madison Square Garden.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Cheapest ticket is six thousand dollars.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, that's the cheapest.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Speaking of which, I got something about that.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: Hang on, I'll fill you in on that next.
