- 1:10SPEAKER_02: September, um, let me give you the exact date.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: Hold on a second.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: It's September 18th, will be our next one.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, good.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: So yeah, we'll keep you in.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Uh Finger Lakes VA.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, nice.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: They got in, Canona Alstom, Owl Homes of Bath.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: I don't know what this one is.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Raymond Hadley Corporation.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: Do you know that?
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure on that one.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: This is just a sampling of some of the businesses that have entered.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, CSS Workforce New York.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: Uh, let's see.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: We mentioned this one before, but I don't know what this is.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Hobby Game Hangout.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: Wildflower Nutrition.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: Never heard of that one either.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Yes, let's take the nutrition place out for drinks.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: The dough company, uh, courting hospital phlebotomy department.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: Those are just some of them.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Just a small sampling.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, there has been a huge amount of uh folks that have entered this.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: So give us a couple seconds.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: We're going through.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: We have to anonymously just randomly pick somebody and then we'll give them a call here.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Speaking of calls, I gotta come over to you for a minute.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: You're getting married what?
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'm getting married in a few months, and me and my friends decided all the bridesmaids would wear the exact same dress.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Um I'm kind of traditional like that, I guess.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And I just think it's gonna look really cool with everything we got planned.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So this one feels kind of funny, but the problem is one of my bridesmaids refuses to pay for information.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: The friendship over something so human.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know it's kind of funny, but she's never really been a super like girly girl.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: So honestly, just getting her to agree to wear a dress at all was kind of an accomplishment.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: So now I'm kind of stressing over whether I should just leave it alone.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Or you got the wobbly arm hair for the pictures.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: I say let it go.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: I go.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Let it go.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: You mean let it grow?
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Let it grow.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: It is a very minor detail.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: Yes, people.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Can you get it photoshopped out?
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Can you actually talk to your photographer and be like, can you please make those smooth?
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: But why?
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: It's why not?
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: No, because it your friend is who they are.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I had, I'm gonna compare this to I kind of agree, but I kind of disagree on that.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: At one point, I got a tattoo before I was in a wedding.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, I remember this.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: And the bride was so P.O.'d.
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: And I I said, This is me.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: This is who I am.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: She tried to cover up the tattoo.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: I was distracting in her pictures.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: In the end, no one really cares.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: I want my friend to be who they are.
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: And if they don't want to shave their armpits, then don't shave your armpits.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: But I also understand just to lightly play devil's advocate and the uh, you know, the shaky uh doesn't sound like sheet metal.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: It's really she's Armenian, right?
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: So um the thing about it is is you you can relate to this one piece.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: You want the focus of the first focus you see of the picture to go straight to the bride and the groom.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying it won't happen, but you know that the eyes are gonna drift and they're gonna be like, whoa!
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Yes, but that is who she is.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: You're caring about the doing.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Okay, what if she decided that she was gonna shave her head?
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a bad example because what if you maybe are going through chemo or something?
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: That's also if you shave your head, you shave your head.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: It really does not matter.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: It doesn't matter to me what you do.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: As far as the dresses all being the same, I this person i that is that's a traditional way of doing things.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: It's not like that anymore.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I'm already getting the vibe of who she is because she wants it to be very traditional.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: But then why are we making it all about her?
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're you're asking for one thing, just cut them down for the day.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: But if I've never shaved my armpits and now you want me to, I don't think I need to change anything.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: If you're not gonna make me do it, am I bad for photoshopping it out?
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, you are why because Because you okay, I can't get you to do what I what I'm asking you for that day because you are who you are, as you just said.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: But okay, when the pictures are actually on display and coming out, which really nobody cares.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: But anyway.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: You're saying I want you to be perfect and look exactly like this cookie cutter thing.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna Photoshop it out.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Am I bad for doing that?
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Yes, you are a bad person.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: What I'm not asking you to change, I'm just changing you.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: We could exactly.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: What if I had no arm and then all of a sudden you said, well, let me just Photoshop an arm in there?
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Well, then that's a talking point.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: You're like, this is what it could look like.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
