- 0:004 copilot pillars turn microsoft's work software into an agent layer. This is MAG 7 Daily, episode 4. At the top of the tape, Satya Nadella put that release on September 25th, and called copilot a new operating system for work, across every model, every form factor, and every task. Three days ago this was still a super app plan. Today the pieces have names. Autopilot is the proactive agent that keeps running for a company.
- 0:29Code lets people build apps inside their own tenant on the same technology as GitHub co-pilot.
- 0:36Home folds chat and co-work into a single start screen. Office drops word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 0:42fully into co-pilot, and co-pilot can be called inside teams. Today is the proactive screen that
- 0:49pulls the most important Microsoft 365 information forward. Home and code start moving through the
- 0:56frontier program in the coming weeks. Open AI and the other defendants in Apple's trade secret
- 1:02misappropriation lawsuit have a new filing 9-5 Mac reports. They want the court to strike two
- 1:09expert declarations. They also want other evidence Apple just submitted set aside.
- 1:15Tech meme points to a Bloomberg look at Google deep-mind researchers who have left recently.
- 1:21They are starting AI companies built around alternatives to large language models.
- 1:25Kore Kavukchoglu, who runs Google DeepMind, told the information's AI agenda live summit
- 1:32the flagship should arrive much earlier than year-end.
- 1:36He said Google wants an early version as soon as possible, then quick improvements, all
- 1:41the model is still being fine-tuned for safety and reliability.
- 1:45Sundar Pichai calls Gemini for a significantly larger frontier model aimed at coding and
- 1:51autonomous agents.
- 1:52In July, DeepMind began what it called its most ambitious pre-training run yet.
- 1:59Gemini 3.5 Pro, first announced for IO in May, never shipped, reportedly because coding
- 2:05fell short.
- 2:07What did ship where cheaper flash models?
- 2:09Gemini 3.7 Flash in August?
- 2:12Gemini 3.8 Flash in early September.
- 2:16The last true flagship, Gemini 3 Pro, dates to November 2025.
- 2:20Testing catalog says Google has been testing Gemini 4 Pro checkpoints, codename argon, since mid-September.
- 2:29The leaks put a single response at 256,000 tokens, four times the old cap, and say the highest
- 2:36reasoning mode took from 2.4 minutes to 20 minutes in answer. That operating system claim is the one
- 2:43Windows latest cuts against. Nadella says they are building Copilot as a new OS even as Microsoft
- 2:50off Strip's co-pilot from Windows 11.
- 2:52The unsettled point is which surface the agent actually lives on, once it is no longer
- 2:57a Windows 11 feature.
- 2:59The line that reaches across the seven is Musks, and the measuring stick is Nvidia.
- 3:05R.S.
- 3:06Technica says Tesla's team was in Sparks, Nevada on Thursday, for a live streamed, invite-only
- 3:12factory event that officially started high-volume production of the semi.
- 3:16The truck in that piece is the 500 mile samy.
- 3:20The concept first rolled onto a Tesla stage in late 2017, nearly a decade before this
- 3:26production start.
- 3:27The audience was narrow, cost conscious managers of large trucking fleets.
- 3:32A handful of them, all men, crossed the stage to be thanked for orders, under a pulsing
- 3:37techno beat.
- 3:39Musk was not in the room, a pre-taped video carried his line that it is going to be really
- 3:44a driver's truck, like a sports car in truck form.
- 3:48Arz says he skipped his second vehicle debut in a row.
- 3:52He was at a White House China State dinner featuring President Xi Jinping.
- 3:56He has insisted investors treat Tesla as a robotics and autonomous vehicle company, and
- 4:02he has targeted a $20 trillion valuation nearly four times the value Arz assigns to NVIDIA
- 4:08as market leader.
- 4:10The limit Arz sets beside that figure is physical.
- 4:13Charging gaps still limit electric trucking as that 500-mile truck moves into volume production.
- 4:19The cross-company fact is not a shared chip order or a joint filing. It is a valuation premise
- 4:26measured against NVIDIA, from a chief executive who missed his own production launch.
- 4:31Autopilot expands to private preview at the end of September. Today enters private preview in
- 4:37October, and later comes to Outlook and Teams.
- 4:41Before we go, the nearest of those dates is the end of September, when Autobotilot's
- 4:46private preview expands.
