- 0:19Speaker 2: as we start winding down May.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Just another quick month.
- 0:23Speaker 2: But uh, I hope everybody had a nice long weekend
- 0:26Speaker 2: as I did, and not sure you did too as well. Justin,
- 0:29Speaker 2: But if you want to give us a call, you
- 0:31Speaker 2: can do it five O two three eight four fourteen fifty.
- 0:33Speaker 2: You can text me on the Whiskey Thief text line
- 0:35Speaker 2: at five O two four one four fourteen fifty. You
- 0:38Speaker 2: can tweet me at Just the Cat Radio, Justin. Are
- 0:41Speaker 2: you are you? You know you've been here an hour already.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 0:44Speaker 4: Are are you feeling good today?
- 0:46Speaker 1: I'm feeling great today. Yeah, I mean, other than it
- 0:50Speaker 1: being Tuesday and my brain keeps trying to trick me
- 0:52Speaker 1: that it's Monday. But well we'll get over that.
- 0:55Speaker 4: That's a good thing though.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I mean, once you well, if you think it's Monday
- 0:59Speaker 2: and you realize, oh no, it's another day down the week,
- 1:02Speaker 2: I mean, that's it.
- 1:03Speaker 1: To me.
- 1:04Speaker 2: That's a positive. So I'm like you all day. Yesterday
- 1:07Speaker 2: I thought it was Sunday, and today I kind of
- 1:09Speaker 2: get the feeling. It's Monday, and I gotta keep reminding
- 1:11Speaker 2: of this. Wait wait, wait, wait, wait, it's Tuesday. It's
- 1:14Speaker 2: kind of nice.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It's definitely better than the inverse when you think you're
- 1:18Speaker 1: a day ahead and because then at that point you
- 1:21Speaker 1: gotta work six days, you.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Know, yeah, exactly, So now you just gotta work four days.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I mean, you're you're almost done with the week, and
- 1:29Speaker 2: it's kind of nice.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I'm pumped.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Are you really okay?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Good?
- 1:33Speaker 4: I'm glad you're.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Cincinnati this weekend? So yeah, I need this. I need
- 1:36Speaker 1: this weekend to fly or this week to fly.
- 1:38Speaker 4: You're going to Cincinnati.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So I'm going. Actually I'm going up to Dayton. One
- 1:43Speaker 1: of my cousins is graduating from high school, so we're
- 1:46Speaker 1: gonna go congratulation to her graduation party on Saturday. But
- 1:50Speaker 1: my dad called me and he was like, hey, Reds
- 1:52Speaker 1: are in town. I want to I want to stop
- 1:54Speaker 1: in Cincinnati on Friday and catch a Reds game. So
- 1:57Speaker 1: me and me and Pops are going to a Reds
- 1:59Speaker 1: game on Friday for your dad.
- 2:01Speaker 2: That's all right? And who are the Reds playing this weekend?
- 2:04Speaker 2: Couldn't tell you, okay? It doesn't matter. That's right.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Your dad's paying for everything and that's all that matters.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Just excited to hang out with pops.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Yeah, and you should be because that's
- 2:14Speaker 2: that's one of the things I wish I could do.
- 2:15Speaker 4: So I'm glad you're doing that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Because they're playing the Braves screwed.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Really Okay, that's the way to think. I love that
- 2:23Speaker 2: positive vibe that you just brought off there.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Acredible.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not as good as Tampa Bay Race, but
- 2:29Speaker 2: they're pretty good.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I think record wise they are better.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Right, No, Tampa Bay is number one in all of
- 2:36Speaker 2: the Well. Might have changed over the past weekend because
- 2:39Speaker 2: they lost two games in a row, but as of
- 2:41Speaker 2: last week they were the top team in m I'll
- 2:45Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And check b A.
- 2:46Speaker 4: But that's yeah, I know what's new.
- 2:49Speaker 1: They still are. That's incredible.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Okay, there you go.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You could have given me ten guesses and I would
- 2:54Speaker 1: have not said the race.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Thank you, so thank you? Who is right here? I
- 2:57Speaker 4: want to hear one more time, Michael Bennett? Thank you.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I didn't hear it, but you said well done. Who
- 3:03Speaker 2: was in seventeen? Isn't that crazy?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:07Speaker 2: And look at the spin that they have and that
- 3:10Speaker 2: that's to me is even crazy.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Ers. I don't even know how many raised players I
- 3:15Speaker 1: could name zero.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, Uh, Taylor, I forget his last name. Second Junior Common,
- 3:24Speaker 2: I know him, Okay, you know Julie Common era Taylor.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Taylor Walls is my favorite. Yeah, ever since they got
- 3:32Speaker 2: rid of a Rose Arena who's now with Seattle. I
- 3:35Speaker 2: still don't understand why they got rid of him. He
- 3:37Speaker 2: was my favorite player. Yeah. But uh, anyway, I I yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm very excited about my rais.
- 3:43Speaker 4: But is there all right? So you're going to Cincinnati.
- 3:46Speaker 4: You're spending the night there?
- 3:47Speaker 1: Is that? Right? No? So we'll drive up to Dayton
- 3:50Speaker 1: after the game and stay there.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Oh you'll stay in you So you spend the night
- 3:55Speaker 4: in Dayton, Ohio?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because my dad's brother lives up there, so we'll
- 3:59Speaker 1: just okay on his counters. Oh you will, Okay? Because
- 4:02Speaker 1: I know nothing about Dayton? Is there anything that is it? Really? Yeah?
- 4:07Speaker 1: They have? So every time we go up there, I'm
- 4:09Speaker 1: always blown away. They have the most gorgeous exits off
- 4:14Speaker 1: the highway that I've ever seen. Like they're all decorated
- 4:17Speaker 1: with like flowers and stuff. They're all just gorgeous. Really,
- 4:21Speaker 1: you know how you got like the overpass and stuff
- 4:23Speaker 1: like that, and then you got the exit ramp.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Well, the exit ramps are just awesome. I've never seen
- 4:28Speaker 2: that before. I've been to Dayton one time for a
- 4:30Speaker 2: baseball tournament where we drove up there and drove out
- 4:32Speaker 2: of there. I've never stayed there before. Only thing I
- 4:35Speaker 2: know about Dayton is Mike Pratt. That's the only famous
- 4:38Speaker 2: thing I know about dayton O, how because that's where
- 4:40Speaker 2: he was from, if I remember correctly. But I'm sure
- 4:43Speaker 2: you'll fact check me on that in a minute, but
- 4:45Speaker 2: please don't.
- 4:46Speaker 1: The only thing I know about dayton is that's where
- 4:47Speaker 1: they host the first four every year.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Oh that's the other thing, exactly, the first four, And
- 4:54Speaker 2: that's I think good for them. But that's the way
- 4:58Speaker 2: it should be now when they start adding all these
- 5:00Speaker 2: other teams. Do you think it should still be in
- 5:03Speaker 2: dayton O? How do you think it should be in
- 5:05Speaker 2: different places?
- 5:06Speaker 1: So I've heard that they're going to do four in
- 5:10Speaker 1: or would it be to yeah, four and Dayton and
- 5:12Speaker 1: then four in Las Vegas, which I love that idea.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Don't don't take it. You don't need all of the
- 5:19Speaker 1: games in Dayton, but don't take away their games that
- 5:22Speaker 1: they already have. But don't you think.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Here's how I always like to think, share the wealth,
- 5:29Speaker 2: share it with other cities. It shouldn't be in just
- 5:31Speaker 2: just just like the College World Series. It's never sat
- 5:34Speaker 2: well with me that it's always in Omaha. I think
- 5:37Speaker 2: it should be all over the country. It shouldn't just
- 5:40Speaker 2: be one place either. That the title game for the
- 5:42Speaker 2: football game is is everywhere. The National Championship for basketball
- 5:48Speaker 2: is all over the place. I just think that baseball
- 5:52Speaker 2: college baseball should have it elsewhere, And I think that
- 5:56Speaker 2: the first four in should have it in different venues
- 5:59Speaker 2: every single year. I don't know why they stick to
- 6:02Speaker 2: just the one place and that's it.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I mean, if it works, then why change, you know,
- 6:07Speaker 1: because it might work in some other places too. People
- 6:09Speaker 1: might enjoy going.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Just like with the whole SEC tournament, it's always in basketball,
- 6:14Speaker 2: it's always in Nashville now, and I don't like it
- 6:16Speaker 2: used to be in New Orleans, Tampa, it used to
- 6:19Speaker 2: be in all kinds of places, Atlanta exactly.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I do like the idea of maybe rotating that around,
- 6:28Speaker 1: like imagine the first four and in the Young Center
- 6:31Speaker 1: one time. That would be awesome. You think that's gonna
- 6:34Speaker 1: be not well attended. Hell, yeah, it's gonna be well
- 6:36Speaker 1: attended exactly.
- 6:39Speaker 4: So I mean Louisville would embrace that.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It would be a big economic uh boost for the city.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I mean, it would just be huge for louislls. So
- 6:48Speaker 4: that's why I think.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Plus, if history is any indication you'll have the Indiana
- 6:52Speaker 1: Hoosiers play in there.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Hey, oh wow, that's a real blow.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I'm trying to think, My goodness, I'm kind of surprised
- 7:00Speaker 2: you would say something like that. I think it changes
- 7:03Speaker 2: though for Indiana with the don't you don't you believe
- 7:06Speaker 2: that all the boosters that are giving the money towards
- 7:08Speaker 2: football now want to look at and concentrate on basketball
- 7:12Speaker 2: or can they balance that?
- 7:14Speaker 1: I think they can balance that. And there is a
- 7:16Speaker 1: lot of hype with the basketball roster. I don't see it,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but everybody seems to be pretty excited about it. So
- 7:23Speaker 1: we'll see what ends up happening. I'm still I'm just
- 7:25Speaker 1: not hopeful. Yeah, I can understand you not being that hopeful.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, I can tell you right now that Kentucky just
- 7:34Speaker 2: a lot of the fan based breathed a sigh of
- 7:37Speaker 2: relief over the weekend because the big news that came
- 7:39Speaker 2: out of Malachaimo Reno joining rejoining the team again.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Were you really surprised.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I mean, I know, I said last week, I was
- 7:50Speaker 2: a little nervous, then I got d n No, I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: nearly not. That was probably nervous for maybe the better
- 7:56Speaker 2: part of twelve hours that ooh, this might not happen.
- 7:59Speaker 2: But other than that, I was for the most of
- 8:01Speaker 2: most of the time, I was fairly confident he was
- 8:03Speaker 2: coming back to lexingon.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I'm I'm right there with you. I
- 8:07Speaker 1: mentioned it on my show this morning that when Mark
- 8:10Speaker 1: Pope comes out and he says their number one priority
- 8:14Speaker 1: was to get Malachi back in the fold, that tells
- 8:17Speaker 1: me right there that Malachi was never going to keep
- 8:19Speaker 1: his name in the ABA.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta believe that Mark Pope. No, and no
- 8:25Speaker 2: offense to Malchi. Moreno, I don't think he'd take it.
- 8:27Speaker 2: But you gotta believe Mark Pope knew the entire time
- 8:30Speaker 2: that Malachi most likely wasn't going to make the NBA yet,
- 8:33Speaker 2: but using this as a situation where he can it's
- 8:36Speaker 2: a learning process for him.
- 8:38Speaker 3: From that same time.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I think it is obvious that Mark Pope knew because
- 8:42Speaker 1: had he not known, why is he not going out
- 8:45Speaker 1: and getting more bigs? Yeah, you got in Jaii to
- 8:48Speaker 1: join the Fold, but other than that, you don't really
- 8:51Speaker 1: have a plethora of bigs. And no, if you didn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: know if he was going to come back or not,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I would have liked the thought that Mark Pope would
- 8:58Speaker 1: have gone out and got a couple of nuts.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Now, how do you feel about this team with Malachi?
- 9:04Speaker 1: All right?
- 9:05Speaker 2: Because you know we could tell all right, I'll let
- 9:07Speaker 2: you answer that first.
- 9:08Speaker 1: What do you feel like? I mean, for me, it
- 9:12Speaker 1: didn't that decision alone doesn't really change all that much.
- 9:17Speaker 1: It does give you some size. It gives you an
- 9:19Speaker 1: experienced guy, so maybe that takes you gives you an
- 9:22Speaker 1: extra two to three wins having him in the Fold,
- 9:25Speaker 1: So maybe it changed it a little bit, but not
- 9:28Speaker 1: a whole lot to even mean anything. I mean, really,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm just anxious to see how he's progressed.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Because here is here is as far as potential starters
- 9:36Speaker 2: for UK this coming season, here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking,
- 9:40Speaker 2: Zoom Diallo, Alex Wilkins, Cam Williams, Usman and die In Malachi.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I don't see Enjoy starting. I don't and I don't know.
- 9:57Speaker 4: You don't really, so who's I don't know?
- 9:59Speaker 1: And I don't know these Art Zoom or Alex or
- 10:02Speaker 1: both of them, I think, but I don't know who
- 10:05Speaker 1: You got that Fawkes coming off the bench in that
- 10:08Speaker 1: backup point guard role.
- 10:10Speaker 2: All right, then who's starting in place of them?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Why am I struggling with? Who they even have?
- 10:16Speaker 2: Uh?
- 10:17Speaker 4: You got Zion Hawthorne not starting?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Uh? Driven Morton no, No, Trent Noah No. I could
- 10:28Speaker 1: see Trent starting and Mason Williams. That's why that's where
- 10:34Speaker 1: I'm kind of stuck. Then maybe I don't like this
- 10:36Speaker 1: team as much as I thought I did.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Okakay, so, but but but I mean, I mean that's
- 10:48Speaker 2: who I have starting, and I don't see it any
- 10:50Speaker 2: other way.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Truthfully. That's because now that you mentioned the rest of them,
- 10:54Speaker 1: that probably isn't. Yes, that's probably the one. I enough.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Now if you get mom Chilovich in, that throws everything
- 11:05Speaker 1: for That's exactly right. Yeah, But I'm still I'm at
- 11:07Speaker 1: the point where I'm not hopeful for that.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Happened are you not really, Because there's a lot of
- 11:12Speaker 2: people now predicting that he's coming to Kentucky. I am
- 11:15Speaker 2: not hopeful of it either. I'm right there in the
- 11:17Speaker 2: same boat as you are. But I like that more
- 11:20Speaker 2: and more people are saying that he's coming to Kentucky.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I just I don't see it yet. I just as
- 11:27Speaker 4: much as I.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Want Milan mom Chilovick to come to Kentucky because I
- 11:31Speaker 2: can pronounce his name correctly. Finally, it's like it's like
- 11:34Speaker 2: La Familia. I can now save La Familia.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You're You're close enough.
- 11:41Speaker 2: What am I missing? I have to say La. It's
- 11:44Speaker 2: not law correct La. Okay, la familia. But forget the
- 11:49Speaker 2: Laura lela. I was forgetting, which we know talk to
- 11:52Speaker 2: Will Lovis about that. But I was thinking, I know,
- 11:58Speaker 2: sorry about that. I couldn't pronounce it familiar. But now
- 12:01Speaker 2: I can say mom chilovic And why I can say that,
- 12:04Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, it's just like Wo's main
- 12:07Speaker 2: INDI isn't that correct?
- 12:10Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's in Jai.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Oh, it is in Jai. Yeah, the D is pronounced
- 12:16Speaker 2: as a j where he's from. Yeah, okay, all right,
- 12:19Speaker 2: that's fine, that's right.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Who's me?
- 12:21Speaker 2: I'll just call him because I can pronounce that, and
- 12:23Speaker 2: I know that's correctly. But I look at that and
- 12:26Speaker 2: I think I don't see anybody else starting over him. Now,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you're right, if mom Chilovic comes, that's a different story.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I at that part. That gives you much more shooting.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think you're you're in an okay spot right now
- 12:41Speaker 1: with shooting with with a guy like Cam Williams returning
- 12:44Speaker 1: and and hopefully Trendonoa can get a little bit better.
- 12:47Speaker 1: But you get mom Chilovich jan and it's I mean,
- 12:51Speaker 1: you're gonna hit three after three.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I left Kepnong out too. I forgot to mention Ken.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's it doesn't change the bar at all, does it.
- 13:00Speaker 1: No, it doesn't.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I don't think he's gonna provide much of anything. I
- 13:06Speaker 2: don't know if I'm going that far. I mean, if
- 13:09Speaker 2: you need some fouls, I mean, I know, I mean,
- 13:13Speaker 2: I still think he's an upgrade from Brandon Garrison. I
- 13:17Speaker 2: know you don't, but I do.
- 13:19Speaker 5: So.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, we had that promo running for a
- 13:22Speaker 1: while and I've I've been meaning to address that for
- 13:26Speaker 1: a week or so now. But the whole promo was basically,
- 13:30Speaker 1: is he an upgrade to Brandon Garrison? And I was like, yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 1: he's an upgart grade to Brandon Garrison. Everybody's an upgrade
- 13:36Speaker 1: to Brandon Garrison. And I called you out. I said, Michael,
- 13:38Speaker 1: you're an upgrade to Brandon Garrison. I'm gonna walk that back.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I actually think kept Nong's a step down for Brandon Garrison.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I can't believe of all the people, you've been so
- 13:51Speaker 2: hard on Brandon Garrett. And what scares me is when
- 13:53Speaker 2: Brandon Garrison comes back to Lexington. If he does, I
- 13:56Speaker 2: don't even know what the schedule is. I think they
- 13:58Speaker 2: come up to the Lexington play, but they might not
- 14:01Speaker 2: guess what he has the biggest game of his career.
- 14:04Speaker 4: That's what I'm worried about. How it works every time
- 14:07Speaker 4: it does, even.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Though Travis Perry didn't have that great of a game
- 14:11Speaker 2: against Kentucky. But I do worry about Brandon Garrison coming
- 14:15Speaker 2: up there. And I'm going to show Pope and all
- 14:17Speaker 2: those fans that you know, they they misread me. I'm
- 14:20Speaker 2: better player than they gave me credit for. But I
- 14:24Speaker 2: am going to put out there that Kepnong's going to
- 14:26Speaker 2: be better I just you're being hard on Kepnong. You
- 14:29Speaker 2: haven't seen him play yet in a Kentucky uniform.
- 14:31Speaker 1: He's in a seventh season of college basketball for.
- 14:33Speaker 2: A rea doesn't matter, doesn't matter. I mean, he might
- 14:37Speaker 2: need eight or nine seasons and he's going to be good.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I mean, you get to seven seasons. I don't care
- 14:41Speaker 1: the sport I have instantly, yeah, I know, instantly lost
- 14:44Speaker 1: respect of your ability.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I I'm right there with you.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I get it.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But listen, we needed some bigs. We got him, so, uh,
- 14:56Speaker 2: we'll just have to wait and see you.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I'm not going to bang up on him like you
- 15:00Speaker 2: you are right now and just knock knock, knock knock
- 15:02Speaker 2: on Heaven's door. But no, he's going to get out
- 15:05Speaker 2: there and uh and prove you wrong. He's listening to
- 15:08Speaker 2: this show right now, he goes. I'm going to show Scoots. Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I'm going to show him I'm root.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Just because I'm being mean spirited about it doesn't mean
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'm not rooting for him.
- 15:17Speaker 2: All right, all right, as far as McBride keptnongh.
- 15:22Speaker 1: McBride, hell, he's going to be a starter.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Kidding me, you think justin McBride's going to start over
- 15:28Speaker 2: who zoom, dial Ax Williams, Cam Williams, I uh and
- 15:34Speaker 2: Jay or of course not Moreno, but uh, I.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Really, I really don't think Wilkins starts. I would go
- 15:42Speaker 1: me personally, I would go zoom, Cam, Williams, justin McBride, Moreno,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and I guessing Jaii or you could play small and
- 15:53Speaker 1: throw somebody else in. I don't know. I'm still not
- 15:56Speaker 1: all that comfortable with that.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Four or five nights as far as I'm concerned, I
- 16:00Speaker 2: only really see six, maybe seven players playing, and that's it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: But isn't that what you want? Isn't a shorter rotation
- 16:08Speaker 1: for the best you know? To me, you would want
- 16:10Speaker 1: seven or eight players at the very least. You don't
- 16:12Speaker 1: want just six players out there.
- 16:14Speaker 2: But right now, as I see it, I maybe see six, seven,
- 16:17Speaker 2: that's it. I would oh, stop, don't please, don't start that.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I mean, but I'm seeing seven or eight. You hope
- 16:24Speaker 2: to have seven or eight? If to me, eight players
- 16:28Speaker 2: in that rotation, you get up to nine minutes too many? Yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 2: because I that's that is the sweet spot right there
- 16:35Speaker 2: at eight.
- 16:35Speaker 1: But with the injuries that we have grown accustomed to
- 16:38Speaker 1: under Mark Pope.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I know you're right. That's why he's gone heavy on
- 16:42Speaker 4: the guard spot, but.
- 16:45Speaker 1: In my opinion, not heavy enough the big spot.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Not even clothes.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's where you know, I guess he's taking
- 16:52Speaker 2: a long shot with mom Chilovic and hope that it works.
- 16:54Speaker 1: What if you don't get mom Chilovich and I'm not
- 16:58Speaker 1: Malachai moreno, knock on wood, this doesn't happen. But what
- 17:02Speaker 1: if he goes down with an injury? Oh?
- 17:05Speaker 4: Absolutely rude?
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know if I would word it
- 17:09Speaker 2: that way, but yeah, it's not a good place, I
- 17:11Speaker 2: will say that. So it's another big risk going the
- 17:15Speaker 2: opposite way. Last year it was the guard play of
- 17:17Speaker 2: the two years, and it was guard playing. This year
- 17:19Speaker 2: could be on the big side. So hopefully that's not.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Hopefully that's not the case. Hopefully we can have a
- 17:24Speaker 2: season without injury. I'm just not confident of that yet.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I'll just have to see and have that wait and
- 17:30Speaker 2: see mentality to see what happens. But all right, we
- 17:33Speaker 2: got to take our first break. Fable two three and
- 17:35Speaker 2: four fourteen fifty. If you want to call in Fable
- 17:37Speaker 2: two four one four fourteen to fifty if you want
- 17:40Speaker 2: to text in on the Whiskey Ted text line and
- 17:42Speaker 2: you tweet me at Just the Cat Radio when we
- 17:44Speaker 2: come back. We got to talk a little bit in
- 17:47Speaker 2: BA because what happened with the Knicks versus the Calves,
- 17:53Speaker 2: I mean, wasn't even pretty. I have several things I
- 17:57Speaker 2: want to talk about this, and I know you do
- 17:58Speaker 2: as well.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Justins the right. There a lot more of Just the
- 18:02Speaker 4: Cats coming up right after this.
- 18:04Speaker 1: O this show. What's your thought?
- 18:08Speaker 6: She'll show you up show she's bad show watch your thought,
- 18:19Speaker 6: She'll chew you up.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Shine as a shody?
- 18:54Speaker 1: Correct, Yeah, and you and you said it right. I'm afraid.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Oh I say Sadie, but because it's spelled s A
- 19:05Speaker 2: d E. Her name is Sadie or Sade whatever.
- 19:08Speaker 1: What do you want? Yeah?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Before Yeah, my wife likes this lady. And it's just like,
- 19:15Speaker 2: oh my gosh, this is painful music. But uh, good
- 19:18Speaker 2: for you for saying that, but are playing it. But uh,
- 19:22Speaker 2: you know, it's bugged me ever since Ohio Guy asked
- 19:24Speaker 2: that question on your show. Okay, I just want you
- 19:28Speaker 2: to know it has buged me. How much of j
- 19:31Speaker 2: justsic Katz will be discussing. We'll love his adult film. Uh,
- 19:35Speaker 2: here's the thing about it, because I did read about
- 19:37Speaker 2: this and how he got his mom involved and we
- 19:40Speaker 2: talked about that on crosstalk during your show. But and
- 19:45Speaker 2: how much he's trying to get people to find the
- 19:49Speaker 2: person that posted this. In my mind, because this is
- 19:53Speaker 2: going I'm totally squirreling. I know I am, and in
- 19:56Speaker 2: which I'm I'm kind of famous for. But in my my,
- 20:00Speaker 2: justin whose fault is this in the first place?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Isn't it? Isn't it the.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Fault of Will Levice and whatever girl he was with
- 20:10Speaker 2: or you know, could be guy.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I haven't seen the sex tape, but uh.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Isn't it their fault in the first place that this
- 20:18Speaker 1: got released out there? Whoever's decision it was to film it? Yes?
- 20:24Speaker 2: No, no, wait a minute now, just because decision whoever
- 20:27Speaker 2: came up with the idea, they both went into it
- 20:31Speaker 2: willingly to me, Oh you don't know that, okay, fair enough, Well,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I mean, okay.
- 20:39Speaker 1: One of them could have set up a camera and
- 20:41Speaker 1: the other one. That's true.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I look at this and I think, okay, you're right
- 20:48Speaker 2: then at that right now, if both of them agreed
- 20:51Speaker 2: to do this they're both at fault.
- 20:54Speaker 4: If if the one that came up with this idea.
- 20:57Speaker 2: And the other ones unwillingly doing this, then it's it's
- 21:01Speaker 2: the one that came up the idea. But but to
- 21:04Speaker 2: go out there and like, well we need to find
- 21:06Speaker 2: a person that posted this, Well, dude, look in the mirror.
- 21:08Speaker 2: You're the one that filmed it in the first place.
- 21:11Speaker 2: That's how I look at it. Also, how's it getting
- 21:14Speaker 2: out there?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Right? I mean, if you all have this private moment
- 21:18Speaker 1: and you want to film it, that's that's fine. I've
- 21:20Speaker 1: got no problem with that. Inherently that that is what
- 21:23Speaker 1: it is. If you want to do all that. Goodbye you.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But that had to get out some somehow. Was it?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Was it a leak of one of their phones? Did you?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Did one of them send it to a friend who
- 21:35Speaker 1: took that and ran with it? Like it to me,
- 21:38Speaker 1: it should be pretty easy to track down how it.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Got out well, and not just that, but you have
- 21:44Speaker 2: to expect, if you're going to do this and record
- 21:46Speaker 2: it in the first place, you have to expect that
- 21:49Speaker 2: there's that opportunity that it might get leaked to everybody.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So you have to put that in perspective. If I'm
- 21:55Speaker 2: going to do this, then there is any chance that
- 21:58Speaker 2: it might be seen by everybody in the world, and
- 22:03Speaker 2: so to me, I think the blame should go to
- 22:07Speaker 2: the people that filmed it in the first place. You
- 22:11Speaker 2: got nobody to blame but yourself.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I agree.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Okay, all right, then you're better easy.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You better put it on a good performance, is all
- 22:20Speaker 1: I got to say.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Well, absolutely, and you your physique better look good, which
- 22:24Speaker 2: it does, I'm most likely.
- 22:25Speaker 1: And uh, it's right.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Technique better be too perfection, That's all I think. Okay,
- 22:31Speaker 2: I am all about technique. Forget about the physique. To me, technique.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I mean if if something like that for me ever
- 22:39Speaker 1: got out there and I was proud of my performance,
- 22:42Speaker 1: it wouldn't be so bad, right.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Oh, you want all the ladies to see how performance
- 22:48Speaker 2: goes with Justin ak.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Scoots out there? Is that what it is?
- 22:55Speaker 1: I mean?
- 22:56Speaker 2: I need to see technique on the dance floor by you.
- 23:00Speaker 2: For I ever admit that you're good.
- 23:01Speaker 1: There is no technique on the day. I'll tell you that,
- 23:04Speaker 1: all right.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I need to see technique on the stage when you
- 23:07Speaker 2: sing all the ten thousand songs you claim to know
- 23:10Speaker 2: by heart. That really so you have good technique up there.
- 23:14Speaker 2: There's no dancing, but is there a kind of a little.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Sway in a little bit?
- 23:20Speaker 4: Oh there will be okay, good good?
- 23:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Then, well, I just I look at this and I
- 23:24Speaker 2: think it's Will Levitts.
- 23:26Speaker 4: You got nobody blame about yourself. That's what I think.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Probably pretty humiliating at the end of the day and
- 23:33Speaker 1: should be.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Uh, just like with the whole Kardashian thing, what what
- 23:37Speaker 2: sex takes are really famous?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Uh?
- 23:40Speaker 2: Paris Hilton, I think is a real famous one night
- 23:43Speaker 2: in Paris. Uh, Kim Kardashian. Who am I missing?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Who? Pamela Anderson? Pamela Anderson. That was the original? Yes?
- 23:54Speaker 4: That is I I think you're right.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That was the original of all of them, of sex states,
- 24:00Speaker 2: of all sex tapes. Yes, was Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I don't I'm trying to think of you else was.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I can't either between those three right there, Pamela Anderson.
- 24:14Speaker 4: And Tommy Lee. Let's go through the list again.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Paris Hilton and.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. I think those are the
- 24:21Speaker 2: biggest out there. And if I'm missing and he let
- 24:24Speaker 2: me know, but yeah, and that it was just maybe
- 24:27Speaker 2: pictures or anything.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Like that, which is like, okay, that's just whatever.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'll be honest, I did not wake up on this
- 24:34Speaker 1: Tuesday morning thinking we'd be talking sex tapes. Isn't it great?
- 24:38Speaker 4: I mean, what a topic. I love this.
- 24:40Speaker 3: No, I'm just kidding.
- 24:42Speaker 2: One person that Buzz texted in said, hey, Michael, uh,
- 24:45Speaker 2: there's a great air museum in Dayton.
- 24:49Speaker 4: I have heard about that before.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Have you like an airplane? Airplane? Oh?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, there's supposed to be in phenomenal airplane museum.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I've heard there's one there and which I've never gone to.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I've got a guy that I know here in Louisville. Hah,
- 25:04Speaker 2: didn't get you, Josh. I got a guy here in
- 25:07Speaker 2: Louisville that I know that goes up there in volunteers.
- 25:10Speaker 2: He's a pilot and evidently supposed to be some kind
- 25:12Speaker 2: of incredible museum. There's that one, and the one down
- 25:15Speaker 2: in Pensacola is supposed to be unbelievable. Have you ever
- 25:20Speaker 2: been to a military museum or anything like that?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I have.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I went to a World War two museum years
- 25:26Speaker 2: back when we went down to see UK play Lsu
- 25:29Speaker 2: in bat Rouge, we say New Orleans, and there is
- 25:31Speaker 2: a World War Two museum in New Orleans, which is
- 25:34Speaker 2: really cool and I really enjoy that.
- 25:38Speaker 1: My uncle who we stay with when we go up
- 25:40Speaker 1: to Dayton, and he's actually in the Air Force. Oh really,
- 25:44Speaker 1: for many many years his assigned role was just basically
- 25:49Speaker 1: security for the B two. Wow, So he just got
- 25:54Speaker 1: to guard the stealth for many many years. Really awesome.
- 25:59Speaker 4: That's pretty Has he ever been inside?
- 26:02Speaker 1: I think he had. I think he did get to
- 26:04Speaker 1: go for a ride in it. Yeah, I'll have to ask.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Really, I mean, just going inside the plane would be
- 26:09Speaker 2: the coolest thing to me. I love it when sometimes
- 26:12Speaker 2: you have these old old World War two planes flying
- 26:16Speaker 2: to Bowman Field and they let people come over and
- 26:18Speaker 2: look at them, and sometimes they let you ride, and
- 26:20Speaker 2: I thought that was always cool. But yeah, listen, anytime
- 26:24Speaker 2: I get skill see airplanes like that, I'm amazed by it.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I was watching a documentary yesterday about Air Force one,
- 26:32Speaker 2: of the new Air Force one that they were building
- 26:36Speaker 2: and how it's bigger than an NBA. They said, basketball court.
- 26:40Speaker 1: That's the president plane.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yes, air Force one. Air Force who was the vice president?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Really, I didn't realize the vice president had their own plane.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Oh yeah, absolutely to get around.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought they just had to go everywhere. The
- 26:53Speaker 1: president went.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Oh no, no, no, no, you know that, don't you.
- 26:57Speaker 2: They are never allowed to travel together in case the
- 27:00Speaker 2: airplane goes down.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Really absolutely, I thought you would have known that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so the president.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Is never allowed to fly or travel with the vice
- 27:09Speaker 2: president in case an accident happens, and then you lose
- 27:13Speaker 2: all power of the United States.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I mean it makes sense, but what a crappy way
- 27:17Speaker 1: to think about things, right.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Well, that's that's it's just added security right there. So yeah, okay,
- 27:24Speaker 2: we're talking politics. Let's get off of that. But that's
- 27:26Speaker 2: that's a fun topic right there.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I enjoy that. Uh.
- 27:29Speaker 2: One person says, you're struggling with who they have scoota
- 27:33Speaker 2: because they have a bunch of nobodies.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Huh. I don't want to say all that, but.
- 27:40Speaker 4: How we referred to you as Scuotada.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I like scud Actually like that better?
- 27:45Speaker 4: Do you really scuota?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:47Speaker 2: I mean to me, it sounds like you're like three
- 27:49Speaker 2: or four years old and you can't pronounce your ours.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Scuota with my scooter from Boston add a little lyft
- 27:56Speaker 2: to it and then you know they're about three years old.
- 27:58Speaker 2: But uh, one person said, you are guys are killing me.
- 28:03Speaker 2: This roster is one AD away from being top fifteen
- 28:07Speaker 2: best roster.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Pope has had changed my mind.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Depending on the AD, I do not disagree. If Mom
- 28:14Speaker 1: Chilovich is that ad, I'm right there with you. But yeah, Also,
- 28:21Speaker 1: you're still gonna be relying a lot on Malachi. So
- 28:24Speaker 1: you better hope than Malachi has taken a step up
- 28:28Speaker 1: because the way he ended last season not great. You
- 28:32Speaker 1: don't want that version of Malachi. And sure that maybe
- 28:35Speaker 1: JQ not being able to play played a factor in
- 28:38Speaker 1: that he was had to be leaned on in a
- 28:41Speaker 1: big way last year, but he's gonna he's gonna be
- 28:44Speaker 1: in the same position this year. You need an improved Maliki.
- 28:48Speaker 1: That well, that's what I want to ask you.
- 28:51Speaker 2: If what do you think the number one two in
- 28:55Speaker 2: three improvements that you the the NBA scouts told Malachi
- 28:59Speaker 2: he needs to work on when the season ended last year.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Now we haven't seen him play in the last couple
- 29:04Speaker 2: of two or three months. What do you think he
- 29:07Speaker 2: needs to improve on the most? I know what my
- 29:09Speaker 2: idea is, but go ahead.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I've been very vocal about shooting. I want to see
- 29:13Speaker 1: him become more of a shooter, not rely so much
- 29:17Speaker 1: on the inside part of his game. There's gonna be
- 29:19Speaker 1: times where he's going to be asked to rely on
- 29:21Speaker 1: the inside part of his game, and if it leads
- 29:23Speaker 1: to points, that's all fine and dandy. But to get
- 29:26Speaker 1: to the next level, I'm positive that they told him
- 29:30Speaker 1: you've got to be a better shooter from the mid
- 29:32Speaker 1: range and potentially from beyond the arc as well. I
- 29:35Speaker 1: don't need to see him shoot a bunch of threes
- 29:37Speaker 1: this year, but if he fires up a couple, maybe
- 29:39Speaker 1: hits a couple, then that's progress in and of itself.
- 29:43Speaker 1: In terms of what else he needs to improve on,
- 29:45Speaker 1: I don't really know. I mean his hands. He could
- 29:49Speaker 1: get a little stronger, could have better hands. Those are
- 29:51Speaker 1: probably two things that he was told. I think his
- 29:53Speaker 1: footwork for what he is is fine as it is
- 29:56Speaker 1: right now. Could it get better maybe, But does it
- 29:59Speaker 1: have to be I don't think that's a requirement.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I think you're missing one big one, and that's upper
- 30:03Speaker 2: body strength.
- 30:05Speaker 4: He's got to be able. Okay, you did, I missed it?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Then?
- 30:08Speaker 2: I thought you were talking about his hands. Yeah, I
- 30:13Speaker 2: really think he's got to get that upper body strength. Yes,
- 30:16Speaker 2: you're right about the shooting, but I stink. I think
- 30:18Speaker 2: strength is the biggest If you notice against like Florida
- 30:22Speaker 2: for instance, he was really struggling on rebounds and those
- 30:26Speaker 2: guys would just overpower him. And it's just it's not
- 30:30Speaker 2: the fact that he can't get that. He certainly can
- 30:32Speaker 2: get that, and I think that's an easy fix. But
- 30:36Speaker 2: he's got the figure way to be able to overpower
- 30:39Speaker 2: those players and not let them run him and control him.
- 30:43Speaker 2: And I think that's the biggest part of his game
- 30:45Speaker 2: right there. Second part, Yeah, it is a shooting. Of course,
- 30:48Speaker 2: he's got to get that mid range shot. If he
- 30:50Speaker 2: starts shooting from beyond the art, and absolutely it's going
- 30:52Speaker 2: to make it even better in an easier decision for a.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Lot of the NBA teams out there.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I do agree with you about there were moments last
- 31:01Speaker 1: year where he was timid, and I think that Florida
- 31:04Speaker 1: game is a good example of that. So coming into
- 31:07Speaker 1: your sophomore season, I want to see more aggressiveness. Don't
- 31:11Speaker 1: be so timid. You know what college basketball is at
- 31:14Speaker 1: this point, You've went through it for a year. So
- 31:16Speaker 1: you right, Malachi knows what to expect coming into this season,
- 31:19Speaker 1: whereas last year that wasn't the case. So use that,
- 31:23Speaker 1: use your experience to your advantage and become the player
- 31:26Speaker 1: that not only that you want to be, but the
- 31:28Speaker 1: player that Mark Pope needs you to be, and the
- 31:30Speaker 1: player that the NBA is eventually going to look at
- 31:32Speaker 1: to get in their league as well.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Exactly, all right, we got to take another break. Keep
- 31:37Speaker 2: coming in with those text messages. I'll get to him
- 31:40Speaker 2: as soon as we get back five oh two four
- 31:42Speaker 2: one four fourteen fifty, or if you want to call in,
- 31:45Speaker 2: you can do that at five o two three eight
- 31:47Speaker 2: four fourteen fifties.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Stay right there.
- 31:49Speaker 2: More just the cats coming right up.
- 32:32Speaker 4: David Byrne.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I don't know, I tell you really, that's David Byrne.
- 32:42Speaker 1: We stand, yeah, just so I tell you so sorry.
- 32:48Speaker 4: I don't know why I know this stuff. I mean,
- 32:50Speaker 4: it's just crazy.
- 32:51Speaker 2: But uh, all right, let's get back to the text
- 32:54Speaker 2: line in five two four one four fourteen fifty. Hey, Scoots,
- 33:00Speaker 2: what team isn't screwed if they lose two starters?
- 33:04Speaker 1: Who's the second starter.
- 33:07Speaker 4: From last year?
- 33:09Speaker 1: I mean, I'm assuming they're referring to Malachi, But who's
- 33:13Speaker 1: the that's the other one.
- 33:16Speaker 4: I don't know who he's referring to then, But well, I.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Mean my point was just the fact that there's not
- 33:24Speaker 1: really a great backup option to Malachi. So if he
- 33:28Speaker 1: goes down, that's that's huge. I don't care if the
- 33:31Speaker 1: rest of the team's healthy, that's still going to affect things.
- 33:34Speaker 1: And you're right, Texter, I mean, if you lose one
- 33:37Speaker 1: of your most important pieces, which I think you could
- 33:39Speaker 1: make the case that Malachi is for Kentucky, that's gonna
- 33:42Speaker 1: make it hard. Yeah.
- 33:44Speaker 2: One person said, if any major basketball team loses their
- 33:47Speaker 2: starting center, they are going to make a step take
- 33:50Speaker 2: a step back. No team has two lineups of starter
- 33:53Speaker 2: level quality.
- 33:57Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I mean you're probably right on that, but in the
- 34:01Speaker 1: NILG yeah, absolutely, they're right. In the NIL era and
- 34:05Speaker 1: the era of transfer portal that that's more plausible now
- 34:08Speaker 1: than it ever has. Yes, I see that part.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I agree with you exactly, but uh, I mean it
- 34:15Speaker 2: does change a lot though, when you lose a sinner,
- 34:18Speaker 2: and thank goodness we didn't lose a ciner and hopefully
- 34:22Speaker 2: we gain another one.
- 34:24Speaker 4: That's the one thing I am worried about.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Tell me why people are so confident that mom Chillovic
- 34:29Speaker 2: has come to Kentucky. I just don't see how you
- 34:31Speaker 2: can feel confident he's coming here.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Is he going to u of L? No? Is he
- 34:36Speaker 1: going to u c l A.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I don't see that because mom Chillivick has said the
- 34:41Speaker 2: fact that he wants to go win a title?
- 34:43Speaker 1: Why would he want to play? I don't doing that.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Why would he want to go play for that? D weep?
- 34:48Speaker 2: Get out of here with you? See I'm right there
- 34:50Speaker 2: with you as well. I I but all right, you
- 34:54Speaker 2: want to say another one. I don't see why people
- 34:57Speaker 2: want to go play for Pat Kelsey. I mean I
- 34:59Speaker 2: kind of put him that same level of u c
- 35:02Speaker 2: l A. It's like it's just kind.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Of a goof.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I don't at least, OK, yeah, I guess so, But
- 35:15Speaker 1: what is what has Pat Kelsey done? I mean, you
- 35:18Speaker 1: say the same thing about uh Mark Pope as well
- 35:21Speaker 1: right now at this point, but what has Pat Kelsey
- 35:24Speaker 1: done that proves you, oh, we can go win a
- 35:27Speaker 1: title there?
- 35:28Speaker 2: He has done absolutely nothing. I mean they've gotten to
- 35:32Speaker 2: the Sweet sixteen twice in a row. He came from
- 35:35Speaker 2: what school they have not right. Only one time, I'm sorry,
- 35:39Speaker 2: not twice in a row.
- 35:40Speaker 1: He's only won one tournament game. They haven't been to
- 35:43Speaker 1: a Sweet sixteen yet.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, you're right. What was I thinking they
- 35:46Speaker 2: got to the Sweet sixteen? Okay, well, Mark Pope's going
- 35:49Speaker 2: further than him, so I I just I don't see
- 35:54Speaker 2: the attraction other than it's the almighty dollar dollar getting
- 35:58Speaker 2: these players to go to you a bell. So I mean,
- 36:01Speaker 2: Zach can get mad at me all you want, but
- 36:03Speaker 2: that is the case. Forty eight, Handley said, Juliet Prows
- 36:06Speaker 2: took John Holmes on a two week cruise. Let's move on.
- 36:13Speaker 2: What was he talking about? The Will Levis thing? I
- 36:16Speaker 2: guess I don't have the slightest idea what he's talking about.
- 36:20Speaker 2: One person said, better not be a two pump jump.
- 36:24Speaker 2: If you're going to release a video, Scoots, just release
- 36:27Speaker 2: a video of you try tying cherry strings together and
- 36:31Speaker 2: rolling your rs. Yeah please, no, come on, come on
- 36:37Speaker 2: and suck at Scoots. Right Air Force Base and Dayton
- 36:40Speaker 2: has a museum, and I think that's what everybody's talking
- 36:42Speaker 2: about is Right Air Force So that's where your uncle
- 36:45Speaker 2: worked his Right Air Force Base.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'm assuming. Yeah, I know he does a lot of
- 36:48Speaker 1: work from home.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Though, And you know who the Right is, don't you?
- 36:51Speaker 1: The Right brothers? Exactly? Okay, so you did know that. Yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I'm not originally ignorant, Michael, Well, I do know. I
- 36:59Speaker 1: do know a little bit of history, all right.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I'm just making sure you did, because you know they're
- 37:05Speaker 2: from Ohio. What was the first thing that they made
- 37:07Speaker 2: before they made the airplane?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Oh? I don't know that.
- 37:11Speaker 4: They owned a bicycle shop.
- 37:13Speaker 1: How do you go from bikes to plane?
- 37:15Speaker 4: I have no idea but the.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Exactly but they of course they went to Nag'shead, North Carolina,
- 37:22Speaker 2: which is on the Outer Banks, and that's where they
- 37:24Speaker 2: flew the airplane because of all the wind. So it's
- 37:28Speaker 2: a big windy place and they had sand dunes that
- 37:30Speaker 2: you could elevate, and so yeah. There's also the Patent
- 37:35Speaker 2: Museum at Fort Knox. Have you ever been to the
- 37:38Speaker 2: patent Museum? No, we're not talking Paul Patton, the former governor.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Now is a really good time to let you know
- 37:44Speaker 1: that I hate museums, do you really?
- 37:48Speaker 2: I I'm not a big fan. I went to one yesterday,
- 37:53Speaker 2: which is cool. I mean, once I go it's like,
- 37:55Speaker 2: I'm glad I went, but it's it's getting me there
- 37:59Speaker 2: in the first place.
- 38:00Speaker 4: I'm with you.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Now, if it's an airplane museum, if it's a presidential library,
- 38:06Speaker 2: that's basically, oh my goodness, you are so wrong about that.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Or if it's a military museum, airplane, military, anything like that,
- 38:16Speaker 2: I'll go.
- 38:16Speaker 1: This may show my immaturity, but the only museum that
- 38:19Speaker 1: I've ever really enjoyed has been a science museum for kids.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Okay, no, I'm right there. I think the one science
- 38:29Speaker 2: museum we have right here in lovel is awesome. Yeah,
- 38:31Speaker 2: I haven't been to the the other museum, the one
- 38:35Speaker 2: that's on the war, I forget what it's called, has
- 38:38Speaker 2: all kinds of guns and stuff.
- 38:41Speaker 4: But that's supposed to be pretty good. I've never been
- 38:42Speaker 4: to that one, all right.
- 38:45Speaker 2: So I went to the Ronald Reagan Library Presidential Library
- 38:50Speaker 2: in California. I've gone to it, I think two or
- 38:51Speaker 2: three times. It has one of the former Air Force
- 38:56Speaker 2: ones within the museum. Who that exactly the big museum
- 39:02Speaker 2: that is really cool. So I enjoyed that just because
- 39:06Speaker 2: of the uh they have one of the old limousines
- 39:09Speaker 2: that they carried the president in and they have Air
- 39:11Speaker 2: Force one in there. That was really cool to look
- 39:14Speaker 2: at and see how antiquated the instrumentation is on that
- 39:18Speaker 2: airplane and how they traveled back, because you know, this
- 39:21Speaker 2: was I think it was like seven thirty seven. Now
- 39:27Speaker 2: they're in seven forty seven's with two different levels and it's.
- 39:30Speaker 4: It's just unbelievable. But yeah, it was really small back then.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Michelle texted out, Shannon Sharp had a sex tape.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Really Okay, See I'm not I don't I'm not familiar
- 39:44Speaker 1: with any of the male ones. I'm sure there's been
- 39:46Speaker 1: several that feature like dude celebrities or athletes. Yeah, I'm
- 39:52Speaker 1: not familiar with those.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not either and most likely not interested. One
- 39:58Speaker 2: person said the Moreno news was good, but I'm curious, Michael,
- 40:05Speaker 2: what is the pulse of the fan base, excitement or
- 40:08Speaker 2: something else.
- 40:08Speaker 6: No.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I think that's fairly easy to answer. I think the
- 40:11Speaker 2: fan base is excited. I think that they've got him
- 40:14Speaker 2: coming back. Now there is a Texter, there is a
- 40:18Speaker 2: little hesitancy to see if somebody else is going to
- 40:22Speaker 2: join in. Who is that going to be, because it's
- 40:24Speaker 2: got to be another big name. It can't be just
- 40:26Speaker 2: some random name out there that's not really going to
- 40:29Speaker 2: equate to a lot of points. We need Kentucky needs
- 40:33Speaker 2: another big man, and it's got to be a big one.
- 40:35Speaker 2: So if it's Mom Chilovic, I think the fan base
- 40:39Speaker 2: is all back I wouldn't say one hundred percent back on.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I would even say ninety percent by on. I think
- 40:45Speaker 2: the fan base would be around eighty five percent back
- 40:49Speaker 2: in with Mark Pope. There's still that there's still that
- 40:53Speaker 2: fifteen percent out there that's questioning whether or not Mark
- 40:56Speaker 2: Pope could really get it done.
- 40:58Speaker 4: And I think they were burned by this past season.
- 41:01Speaker 1: On and again, how many times have we said it,
- 41:03Speaker 1: you gotta see it first. We don't know how it's
- 41:06Speaker 1: all gonna play out.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Well exactly, that's the other part. We don't know how
- 41:11Speaker 2: it's gonna play out. So that's why I mean, I'm
- 41:15Speaker 2: trying to keep my excitement to a normal level. Last year,
- 41:19Speaker 2: I was fully on board, excited this is that maybe
- 41:23Speaker 2: this could be a Final four championship type team this year.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Since you know, we got burned, since I got burned
- 41:30Speaker 2: last year, believing in that, I'm kind of being hesitant.
- 41:33Speaker 2: How I feel I was having a conversation with somebody
- 41:35Speaker 2: yesterday on the phone. They were asking me, how do
- 41:37Speaker 2: you feel like the team's gonna be? And I'm like,
- 41:40Speaker 2: you know, it's great that Moreno's coming back, but I
- 41:45Speaker 2: gotta see how this team performs first. I'm just not
- 41:49Speaker 2: gonna be fully on board probably until and making an
- 41:55Speaker 2: evaluation of this team until probably mid December.
- 41:58Speaker 1: That's fair. Should yeah, it should be.
- 42:02Speaker 2: But one person texted, I need some input from you guys,
- 42:07Speaker 2: since you have seen all these guys in person, waiting
- 42:10Speaker 2: for your expert input, I haven't. You're right, that's fair
- 42:14Speaker 2: to say, and I know you're making fun of me,
- 42:16Speaker 2: but I haven't seen all these guys plays, and I
- 42:18Speaker 2: think we just explain that let's wait and see till
- 42:21Speaker 2: they played together. Even though they might have I could
- 42:24Speaker 2: have seen them on another team. We've seen a couple
- 42:26Speaker 2: of the players on the other teams, but we haven't
- 42:30Speaker 2: seen them play with these players that Mark Pope has
- 42:33Speaker 2: put together. So until we see that and how they
- 42:37Speaker 2: how well or not well they play as a team,
- 42:40Speaker 2: then we'll be able to come up with some sort
- 42:42Speaker 2: of synopsis how we feel like this team's going to be.
- 42:45Speaker 2: And I think that's what you were saying. That's definitely
- 42:47Speaker 2: what I'm saying. So, yeah, that's a fair point, and
- 42:51Speaker 2: we have to wait and see until that happens. So
- 42:54Speaker 2: one person said, Pat Kelsey is a car salesman. His
- 42:57Speaker 2: forte is making idiots Louisville face and think they're Toyota
- 43:01Speaker 2: is just as good as Alexus.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Toyota's are great cars. Yes they are.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I just bought my wife a Toyota Sequoya. They're fantastic cars.
- 43:13Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean there are a lot of coaches
- 43:19Speaker 2: out there that are car salesman's. By the way, Yeah,
- 43:24Speaker 2: I won't go through the list of who I think
- 43:26Speaker 2: are car salesman. Yeah, people are going to I know,
- 43:30Speaker 2: you're exactly right. Uh uh one probably. Let's see. Zach said,
- 43:35Speaker 2: why ain't he going to Louisville in your opinion, Michael,
- 43:38Speaker 2: because they've got too many players and he's not going
- 43:42Speaker 2: to fit into that system.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I don't think Gloisville has enough money to get it.
- 43:47Speaker 2: I don't know if I necessarily agree with that, but
- 43:49Speaker 2: they've got where is he gonna get time on the court?
- 43:51Speaker 1: That's where were my biggest question is he will get
- 43:54Speaker 1: time on the court wherever he will it be.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Enough though, because you got all these other players at
- 44:00Speaker 2: Kelsey has got anyway, That's kind of how I feel, Michael.
- 44:07Speaker 2: We're in the same boat for PK. Love the energy
- 44:09Speaker 2: and height, but I'm still waiting for him to do something.
- 44:12Speaker 2: But at least my coach doesn't try to kiss recruits.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Oh boy, Okay, well have fun with that if yeah, okay,
- 44:20Speaker 2: let's just leave it at that.
- 44:21Speaker 4: I don't need to go into that one right there.
- 44:22Speaker 4: So how much time we have?
- 44:25Speaker 1: About a minute?
- 44:26Speaker 2: Okay, let me see if I can. No, I'm gonna
- 44:28Speaker 2: have to save this one until after the top of
- 44:30Speaker 2: the hour. So when we come back, I want to
- 44:32Speaker 2: talk about some NBA news. I did not the team
- 44:36Speaker 2: I wanted to win one. The Knicks beat the Calves,
- 44:39Speaker 2: but I don't know if I like what happened with
- 44:42Speaker 2: some of the Knicks fans out there. We'll talk about that,
- 44:44Speaker 2: because I don't think you've heard about this justin have you. Okay,
- 44:48Speaker 2: we'll talk about that as soon as we get back.
- 44:50Speaker 2: We got some baseball news for UK. It's Tuesday.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Oh, that's right, it is Tuesday.
- 44:55Speaker 4: What am I thinking of? I see, I'm thinking it's Monday.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Yep.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Okay, all right, you certain I know.
- 45:02Speaker 1: He actually just texted me and asked me to print
- 45:04Speaker 1: off his list for today.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Oh so you're doing secretarial work for Corey now, yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 1: He said he's gonna leave out the cucket today since
- 45:13Speaker 1: I helped him out.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Wow, No, you can't do that now. No, I don't
- 45:19Speaker 2: care the deals off. I need to hear it because
- 45:21Speaker 2: that's it's what I like hearing every Tuesday. But okay, well,
- 45:25Speaker 2: you know, if I need some secretarial work done, I
- 45:27Speaker 2: know who to call it. Just called Justin. Anybody else
- 45:29Speaker 2: need anything printed off, just called Justin. Okay, that's who
- 45:32Speaker 2: you need to text. We'll be right back one more hour.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Just the Cats coming right up.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Fable two three and four fourteen fifty If you want
- 46:15Speaker 2: to call in Fablo two four one four fourteen fifty one,
- 46:18Speaker 2: text in on the Whiskey Thief text line, or he
- 46:20Speaker 2: tweak me just the Cat radio. So he had to
- 46:24Speaker 2: print it off doing secretarial duties, and he hasn't shown.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Up yet, not here.
- 46:29Speaker 1: He's being a prima do on it. He is, yeah,
- 46:32Speaker 1: getting a little ridiculous.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Yeah it is, I mean, yeah, yeah, And I think
- 46:37Speaker 2: that's deserved. So h One person said, let's get back
- 46:41Speaker 2: to the whiskey thief text line. One person said, not
- 46:44Speaker 2: making fun. I'm just a little tired of everyone making judgments.
- 46:48Speaker 2: The UK coaching staff picked this team, Pope in his
- 46:51Speaker 2: first year picked some diamonds in the rough. I get it,
- 46:55Speaker 2: and I understand what you're saying, but uh, we got
- 47:00Speaker 2: to wait and see. And I think that you and
- 47:03Speaker 2: I can agree Texter that we're going to wait and
- 47:06Speaker 2: see before we put any judgment out there.
- 47:09Speaker 1: So I just hate how this offseason has been kind
- 47:12Speaker 1: of downtrodden because of the result of the first two seasons, Right, Like,
- 47:18Speaker 1: if last year doesn't go the way it did, are
- 47:21Speaker 1: we more upbeat this offseason? Probably? Yes?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And maybe if the season had gone better, You're
- 47:29Speaker 2: getting some other players out there, Yeah, some bigger names
- 47:33Speaker 2: that maybe have gone to some other schools and would
- 47:36Speaker 2: have come to UK instead.
- 47:37Speaker 4: So that's kind of how I look at that as well,
- 47:40Speaker 4: one person said.
- 47:41Speaker 2: One add away from a top fifteen roster glad to
- 47:45Speaker 2: see John is texting into the show from a burner phone.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Not too there's other positive Kentucky fans. I think I
- 47:54Speaker 1: see I think so too.
- 47:55Speaker 2: There are a lot of positive Kentucky fans that are
- 47:57Speaker 2: in full support of Mark Pope, and I love that,
- 48:00Speaker 2: But there are a lot there are a few out
- 48:01Speaker 2: there that are ready to move on from Mark Pope.
- 48:04Speaker 2: It's like, well, wait a minute, let's see how season
- 48:06Speaker 2: three goes before we're ready to just dump on Mark Pope.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Hulk Cogan had a sex tape. Everyone seems to do
- 48:13Speaker 2: that when they want more attention. Yeah, getting really, I
- 48:18Speaker 2: well see, the more I've looked into this whole thing,
- 48:21Speaker 2: it was his former girlfriend, Gia Duddy.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Is that how are you say her last name?
- 48:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 48:26Speaker 2: It was that girl that was sitting with him at
- 48:30Speaker 2: the the NFL.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Draft night. That's who that.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's his girlfriend.
- 48:40Speaker 1: So she released it as like a revenge.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Oh, I would doubt she released it. No, I think
- 48:47Speaker 2: somebody hacked his phone or computer and got it. I
- 48:51Speaker 2: would doubt either one of them would be doing something
- 48:53Speaker 2: because she has a pretty uh substantial social media following,
- 48:58Speaker 2: and I don't think she would be the one doing
- 49:00Speaker 2: something like that. Yeah, but anyway, and why he broke
- 49:04Speaker 2: up with her, I have no idea. She's she is
- 49:08Speaker 2: really pretty. Yeah, she's she's I'm not gonna see that.
- 49:12Speaker 2: That's that sounds terrible. So anyway, Corey, I'm not big
- 49:15Speaker 2: on curly hair, but she's yes, yeah, she rocks curly hair.
- 49:21Speaker 2: I love straight hair, and so sue me. Okay, I
- 49:25Speaker 2: like straight hair on women, and when they put curls
- 49:29Speaker 2: in it and all that kind of stuff, I don't
- 49:30Speaker 2: really care for her, but she really looks good with
- 49:32Speaker 2: curly hair.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Some girls really look good.
- 49:34Speaker 1: So one of my guilty pleasures is love on the Spectrum.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I just I freaking love that show. For whatever reason.
- 49:40Speaker 4: I don't know this show.
- 49:42Speaker 1: So basically, it's like these kids with autism or some
- 49:46Speaker 1: sort of men and they like set them up on
- 49:49Speaker 1: dates so they could try to find a boyfriend or girlfriend.
- 49:52Speaker 1: But there was a there was a guy in the
- 49:54Speaker 1: last season, the one they just released, who his main
- 49:57Speaker 1: thing was he needed a girl with curvy, straight hair,
- 50:01Speaker 1: and so I spent what curvy straight hair?
- 50:04Speaker 4: What does that mean? I have no idea. Okay, he's
- 50:09Speaker 4: definitely on the spectrum.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Then then when he went on his date, he got
- 50:13Speaker 1: a girl with straight hair, and he was like, oh,
- 50:15Speaker 1: I wanted a girl with curly straight hair, but your
- 50:18Speaker 1: hair looks good. I never understood. Yeah, did you.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Ever see the video of that one girl who's I
- 50:26Speaker 2: think a bathing suit model and she's on you know,
- 50:29Speaker 2: one of those accounts where you can, uh you know,
- 50:32Speaker 2: pay to contact her and.
- 50:35Speaker 4: All that kind of stuff. You know, they'll you know
- 50:36Speaker 4: that one only whatever.
- 50:38Speaker 2: And uh so one of the guys that has spent
- 50:41Speaker 2: like two million dollars met her in person and said,
- 50:45Speaker 2: you're a lot bigger. You know, I'm not gonna see
- 50:47Speaker 2: what he really said, but you're a lot bigger in person.
- 50:51Speaker 2: It's like, wow, oh, you just spent a lot of
- 50:55Speaker 2: money on her just to see her on your computer,
- 50:58Speaker 2: and that's the first thing you say out of your mouth.
- 51:00Speaker 1: But you know, good on her for actually taking that

- 51:46Speaker 4: Doing, Corey Price?
- 51:47Speaker 1: Did you have a big Memorial Day weekend?
- 51:51Speaker 3: I did, Michael Bennett first time I took a trip
- 51:56Speaker 3: just to pretty much just go hiking. I went to
- 52:00Speaker 3: the south eastern part of Tennessee and one with two
- 52:02Speaker 3: friends and for four days we prevented just hiked. So
- 52:06Speaker 3: it was it was pretty fun.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Wait, Corey Price took a trip and there was no
- 52:09Speaker 1: sports involved other than hiking.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Uh yeah, I am humani. Yes, I don't know. Maybe
- 52:17Speaker 3: hopefully I'm tired. It was a lot of hiking, but
- 52:23Speaker 3: I'll make it.
- 52:25Speaker 4: I'm glad to hear now.
- 52:26Speaker 2: So you were hiking on the trail, and so you
- 52:29Speaker 2: spent the night on the trail in the tenth Is
- 52:31Speaker 2: that correct?
- 52:32Speaker 3: No, I we we weren't camping, just hiking. We wait,
- 52:37Speaker 3: we stayed at an actual you know, hotel.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Cory, you gotta speak up a little. I can't hear you.
- 52:41Speaker 3: It was just just hiking, not camping. So we stayed at. Okay,
- 52:46Speaker 3: and where did you stay? A hotel was in Jasper, Tennessee.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Oh wow, yeah, it's about I have.
- 52:53Speaker 2: No idea where Jasper, Tennessee is now. Is this a
- 52:55Speaker 2: part of the Appalachian Trail that you were going down
- 52:58Speaker 2: these paths or just random?
- 52:59Speaker 3: Mark I was saying it's close to the Great Smokies.
- 53:02Speaker 3: We're not sure. And Jasper is about half an hour
- 53:06Speaker 3: west of Chaddanuga.
- 53:10Speaker 4: West of Chattanooga. Okay, wow, interesting.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:14Speaker 2: I have always this is gonna surprise both of you.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I have always wanted to hike part of the Appalachian
- 53:22Speaker 2: Trail just to say I did it and actually take
- 53:24Speaker 2: a tint.
- 53:25Speaker 4: I've already bought. I bought all the gear. I have
- 53:28Speaker 4: it all.
- 53:29Speaker 2: I have the backpack, the tent, the little cooking accessories
- 53:33Speaker 2: that you're supposed to buy when you.
- 53:35Speaker 4: Do this, and I have not done the hike yet.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Do you know how to pitch a tent, Michael.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I certainly know how to pitch a tint.
- 53:42Speaker 2: And I actually liked sleeping intents out in the wild,
- 53:46Speaker 2: So yeah, that'll surprise you a little bit there.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I've always liked it as well, until the morning when
- 53:51Speaker 1: the sun comes up and it gets ridiculously hot and uncomfortable.
- 53:56Speaker 1: By the way, not just I have an uncle and
- 53:57Speaker 1: a cousin who have done the entire apple istion.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Really did they do it all at one time or
- 54:04Speaker 2: did they do it in pieces?
- 54:05Speaker 1: So my cousin did it all at one time. My
- 54:08Speaker 1: uncle unfortunately had an injury along the way, so he
- 54:12Speaker 1: had to quit, go back home, get that repaired, and
- 54:15Speaker 1: then he went back and picked up right where he
- 54:16Speaker 1: left off.
- 54:18Speaker 4: How long did it take him that?
- 54:21Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:22Speaker 3: I mean it's it's months. It goes from Georgia to
- 54:25Speaker 3: to Maine, so right, yeah.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know you have that one, then you
- 54:29Speaker 2: have the one out west, the Pacific Coast hike. I
- 54:33Speaker 2: forget what that.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Also know a guy that's done that whole thing really,
- 54:37Speaker 1: actually two guys that have done that whole thing. Yeah,
- 54:41Speaker 1: I don't know which one's more difficult or not. Do
- 54:43Speaker 1: either of y'all know?
- 54:46Speaker 3: Uh, I'm not sure.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Do either of y'all want to do just a little
- 54:52Speaker 2: piece of the Appalachian Triald?
- 54:54Speaker 1: Do you don't at all? Justin No, I'm far too
- 54:57Speaker 1: lazy for that.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Corey. Would you do anything like that?
- 55:00Speaker 3: I mean, I would do a really extremely small portion.
- 55:04Speaker 3: I'm not even going to think about attempting to do
- 55:06Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 55:08Speaker 2: No, I I I've got I've got a few people
- 55:11Speaker 2: I know that have done it. And I've got one
- 55:15Speaker 2: kid I've known since he was born that has done it.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I think twice or three times. Is it your son, No,
- 55:22Speaker 2: it's not. No, it's not my son, but as a
- 55:25Speaker 2: kid since he was born, since he was born. Yeah,
- 55:28Speaker 2: I've known him since he was born. Yeah, absolutely is
- 55:30Speaker 2: Uh and he has a twin sister. She's on the
- 55:32Speaker 2: Metro Police department. Yeah, okay, so yeah, but uh, he's
- 55:38Speaker 2: done it, I think two or three times. But I
- 55:41Speaker 2: just can't imagine doing I guess that's pretty cool because
- 55:44Speaker 2: I see the pictures of people on the trail.
- 55:47Speaker 3: It's just beautiful.
- 55:48Speaker 4: I mean it looks amazing and relaxing.
- 55:50Speaker 3: I could imagine it doing it more than once. I
- 55:52Speaker 3: feel like you've done it once.
- 55:53Speaker 2: You exactly, you'd think you do it one time, check
- 55:57Speaker 2: it off the list, and then go somewhere else to do.
- 56:00Speaker 2: To do a hike like that, I could not agree more. Yeah,
- 56:03Speaker 2: all right, well, what's on today's list?

- 57:27Speaker 3: the four were doubles two oh my gosh, yeah, and
- 57:31Speaker 3: future National Player of the Year Ed J. Reed love
- 57:34Speaker 3: the Walkcats with two runs batted in.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Is he the only National Player of the Year for

- 57:43Speaker 3: May twenty fourth, twenty eighteen, Number nineteen UK Softball defeats
- 57:48Speaker 3: Number one Oregon nine to six in the Eugene Super

- 58:33Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't check.
- 58:35Speaker 2: I think you both forget y'all made a deal. Yet
- 58:38Speaker 2: Corey broke the deal though, justin.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I didn't know that we didn't really make a deal.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Oh you didn't, okay, so you lied to me on
- 58:45Speaker 4: the radio.
- 58:46Speaker 1: H you did.
- 58:46Speaker 3: I don't know this deal you speaking.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Of, I said, said, since I printed that paper out

- 59:22Speaker 1: That's kind of that's why Star Wars is stupid.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Yeah. On his wiki page, it does not list him
- 59:29Speaker 3: as a National Player of the Year, so I'm gonna
- 59:30Speaker 3: guess he was not National Player of the Year.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Excuse damn it.

- 1:01:18Speaker 2: so the funniest part. Yeah, he went all will loves

- 1:01:27Speaker 2: you're not gonna convince me. And he was the funniest
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: on Game Day as well. I mean that segment he
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: did on Game Day talking about his wife with the
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: last name Ho and how dare u espn. I think
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: it's the funniest game day moment ever. And there'll never

- 1:03:14Speaker 3: You want to go?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Where? Really?
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Where Barrier bonds like you did?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Sure?
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that's sir. Joseph Strauss was the chief engineer
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: of the bridge at the time. The Golden Gate Bridge
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: was both the longest and tallest suspension bridge in the world.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: It's not either of those now, and in twenty twenty five,
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: approximately seventeen million cars drove on the southbound lanes. I'm

- 1:05:15Speaker 2: is that associated with? Exactly? Of course, Purple Rain you
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: associate with Purple Rain. I mean there's all kinds of
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: movies that I think have a song associated with that
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: always reminds me, just like I The Tiger Will Forever
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: remind me of.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Rocky and then of course the whole Tom Cruise movie.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: He's got songs from every one of his movie reminds

- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I okay, I'm the same way. There's songs that remind
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: me of movies. I just I have never thought that
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: they would put a song into the Movie Hall of Fame,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: But Corey, I think they should since you want to
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: be a smart day. If you've got the contact for

- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Corey. Actually watched an animated movie last night.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Just so, oh do you did? What did you watch?
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I watched Goat on Netflix. It was a basketball movie, Goat. Yeah.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You got all these like big animals playing basketball, like
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: panthers and stuff, and then you got this little goat.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: It was very cheesy, but it was good. Yeah.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: It sounds terrible. Was that? Uh all right, does that
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: involve Steph Curry or now I want to say it
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: was Steph Curry.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: You know, I couldn't pin the voice, Corey, and I
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: think you're right that it was stuff Curry. Yeah.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I watched Martin Shorts documentary last night. Oh I still
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: need to watch that. It's fantastic. I mean, if you're
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: a Martin Short fan, it was, which I am without
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: a doubt because his you know, There's probably Three Amigos
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: is up there as one of the top ten my
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: favorite movies.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: I love that movie. He's good in the Father of
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: the Other Bride too.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, with Steve Martin, You're exactly correct. And that uh,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Murders in the Building I've been watching. I haven't seen
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: the all the episodes, but that's a good series as well.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: So but anyway, all right, Corey, anything else going on?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: You know, baseball is getting ready to wind down?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Uh what what? What? What?
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: How are you gonna treat your summer? Are you gonna
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: do anything special this summer?
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Nothing planned? I'm mis glad we made the tournament. I
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: was I was sweating bullets because they were down to
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: the last two teams. And uh so I was nervous,
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: but you got in. They like to Paris with the
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: West Virginia. I think this is the third time, the
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: last what actually I think the three straight years actually
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: we played.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: It's actually fourth straight years. The fourth straight year UK
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: has gone to the n CUAA Tournament. They got the
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: number three seed h in the West Virginia bracket and
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: they play Wake Forest at noon on Friday.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: No Corey was saying, they've been with West Virginia. Yeah,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: like three however, minute, I think.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: It's oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood him. Yes, yeah, that
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: is correct. It might be three in a row. So yeah,
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: it's kind of crazy.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: I hope they can get out of the region and
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: you know what.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Happens hopefully so yeah, I mean it's it's a favorable
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: region as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully they can. So
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. But Corey, have a great week.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Always good to hear from you.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: You have a great week, Michael, and I will see
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: you next Tuesday.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: Yes, you will see me on next Tuesday, all right, fantastic.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: I look forward to it. All right, we're gonna take
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: a break five O two three four fourteen fifty. You
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: want to call in five O two four one four
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: fourteen fifty, you want to text and I'll get back
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: to those Texas soon as we get back. Plus, we
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: got to talk about the NBA last night.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Big deal. We'll see if it was or not.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: It was to me, So stay right there more Jessicaska,
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: watch better.
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: No better about me? I got to give you a bite.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Can suggest don't no matter about me?
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: You got to give me bye?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I don't just me? What's that?
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: Dozer disagree?
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Pabo two three four fourteen fifty.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: If you want to call in Fabo two four one
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: four fourteen fifty. If you want to text in and
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: send me a nice text, I would appreciate that. Or
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: you can tweet me at just the Cat Radio. Uh,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: let's talk a little bit about NBA right now.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: If you didn't watch it last night, I don't blame
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: you because it wasn't much of a ballgame. I mean,
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: that was a horrible series as far as I'm concerned.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: But Nicks and the Cavs just just finished up.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: And it was it was no big deal.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: But what I thought was funny is James Harden made
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: the comment genuinely I do feel like we're the better team,
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: he said of his Cavalier team.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Did you see that?
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: I mean, how can you say you feel like you're
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: the better team when you just got beat How much
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: did they get beat by last night? Was it thirty
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: seven points? And you sit there postgame and say you
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: feel like you're the better team and you got swept.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: You didn't even win a single game. Well, it's this
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: is all a.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Trickle down effect from the head coach, because he has
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: said some wild things as well. I don't know if
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: you saw his comments after Game three he came out
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: and said, analytically, we are winning the series, but you're
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: down three to Oh you don't, idiot, I missed that. Really,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: they won two out of the three games, but you
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: lost two out of the three. That was one of
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the dumbest things I've ever heard.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: I'm right there with you. It's like, what are you
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: talking about?
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Who was the coach that found Wasn't that the Tennessee
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: coach that famously said we're uh.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: He said something like, we're a team of that that
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: people love. I mean, just were winning in a different way. Ah, chucks,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: I can't remember what the quote was. I'm so glad
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I brought it up. But anyway, he said something ridiculous
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: like that too. But all right, I want to ask
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: you about this because you know, the game last night
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: was in Cleveland, and uh so, the Cavaliers owner found
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: out that there were at least ten Knicks fans that
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: it had had gotten access and bought seats on the floor.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: So he told the Knicks.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: The Cavaliers owner told executive vice president of the team
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: to get those tickets away from the Knicks fans and
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: give them to anybody else but Knicks fans, and place
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: the Knicks fans somewhere else in the stadium. You think
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: that was a the right move or a bad embarrassing move.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Bad embarrassing move for sure, Mike. I mean, if you
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: didn't want them to have them, then don't put them
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: up for sale, like exactly, make sure it's a cash
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: fan that's getting those right, But how do you make
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: sure it is? I mean, you can't.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: So if they bought them, evidently one of them was
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: a rapper or something. That's who's kind of released all
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: this information. But listen, they're up for grabs. If they're
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: for sale, they're up for grabs. For anybody. So to me,
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: you make the rule. Listen, if you want to sell
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: these tickets on the floor, you have to resell them
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: back to the team so that we make certain that
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Cavalier fans get those seats.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: If not, guess what, anybody is welcome to buy them.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I think it was a bad move by the Cavaliers,
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: and I think it was a bad look.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Did you hear how much floor seats are going for
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: for the finals? Oh?
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: No?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: At Madison Square Guard.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: No, I have not, but I'm sure it pasked you,
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: I would say probably upwards of fifty to seventy five thousand.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I'll give you another kiss.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: Really it's it's probably a couple hundred thousand.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Five hundred and ninety five.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: Thousand, six hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Wow, for one game.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I even if I had all the money in
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: the world, I don't think I would pay that.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: Much worth paying that? No way, Yeah, I'm not.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: But listen, I that was too easy of a series,
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: which makes me concerned that now the winner of the
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: Oklahoma and the San Antonio series is going to be
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: your NBA champion. That's just kind of how I feel.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: What's that?
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I think the Knicks got it? Do you really?
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: Why do you think the Knicks have it?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I don't know, because that's the team that I don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: want to win, and usually what I don't want to happen.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Does Okay, Well, I'm sorry you don't feel that way,
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: but that's I hope they win.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I don't know why you dislike the Knicks so much.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: They don't know why either. I can't ever put my
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: finger on it. And they even have a hoosier, they
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: may have the only hoosier in the NBA, and I
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: still just don't like them.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, man, Okay, Indy five hundred finished with
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: the closest finish in history. It finished zero point zero
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: two three three seconds from the second place. I mean
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: that was crazy. Half a carling. And did you watch
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: that ending? I didn't watch any of it, but I
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: watched the replay of the ending, and I'm like, what
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: is that guy doing?
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: It was between.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: He looks rosen Fist and uh, David Malucas and David
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Malucas the one who came in second. I was like,
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: what was he doing? That last trip down the towards
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: the finish line. It's like he just let the other
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: car pass and finish and win it. I didn't understand
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: any of that.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: He was an American too. I was rooting for him.
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: Oh where are you? Oh yeah, I would be rooting
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: for him as well.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Did you see the video of the broadcaster calling it
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: from the booth?
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: Was?
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: No? I did not. That was a cool video. It
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: was first of all, I was using like a handheld mic,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: like a mic that you would see a PA guy
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: use where they had to push down the button. But
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: he's he's like holding it in his hand broadcasting like that.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Thought that was fascinating.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Interesting. So they are old school at the Indy five
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: hundred exactly. Okay, Well the other part I liked that
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Jacob Abell finished finished twenty fourth. That's a big deal
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: for his first one. So that was good for him,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: So kudos to him and his family. But uh yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: I and not only that. I don't get the whole
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: milk thing. Okay, So if I won, I'm not drinking
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: the milk. I just it's just disketching. Can I get
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: a chocolate variety like?
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Is that? Okay?
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I would smash chocolate.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: No, I'm not even smashing that.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Like chocolate chip cookie to go with the milk.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Then I can give me some water or a dike
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: cocing out there on that. Give me anything, just.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: One one of the biggest races in the world. Can
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: y'all give me a water?
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Yes, exactly give me. I'll take that over milk any day.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: I don't like milk. There are a few times I'm like, oh,
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: I want some milk. I mean, I am Will Ferrell
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: every time an anchorman will milk was a bad choice. Okay,
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: I will never choose. I want milk to be my drink.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: So uh, sticking with before we take a break. Sticking
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: with cars. I don't know if you saw.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: This or not.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: Ferrari just came out with its first electric car and
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: it's a four door.
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: It's their first electric cars called Luce, which means in
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: Italian light.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: The car. I don't know why you buy.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: This because the car, well, you're not going to I'll
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: tell you why in a minute. But the car goes
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: two hundred miles per hour. Where on earth are you
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: going to drive a car two hundred miles per hour
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: and not get well? Maybe one of the former Georgia
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: players will take it down to Georgia and drive it
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: two hundred miles an hour and get arrested.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: So but are you.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Ready for this?
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: It has four electric motors, one for each wheel, and
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: they've made it to where it sounds like there is
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: an engine underneath it.
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: And in order to have.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: This in your garage, you need to have at least
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: six hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: I'm not spending that much on an electric car.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I have not much on anything. I'm not either.
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: Maybe a house, you just spend that on the house, but.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Not that much anymore for a house, not anymore.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: I know, my goodness. I spent one hundred and twenty
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: five thousand dollars on my very first house, and I
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: just I don't know what that house has worth today.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: I think a lot. It's clearly a lot more because.
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: That was a Nashville and national's just booming with a
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: real estate down there. I saw I should have hung
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: on to it. You're exactly correct. I should have hung
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: on the second house I had down there. It's worth
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: even more. But I think it's upwards of over seven
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: seven figures, so exactly. But anyway, I saw that, and
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: it's like, who's buying this? But anyway, I just I
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: let your cars don't do it for me. Yet, When
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: when they go long distance I can drive seven or
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: eight hundred miles on one charge, then I'll probably look
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: into buy one.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: But until then, it's just not worth it.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: We're gonna get to a point where we're not gonna
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: have a choice. Now may not happen with my generation,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: but future generations they're not gonna have a choice. Everything's
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: gonna be electric.
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: Why is that? Why do you think that?
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I just feel like that's the way we're headed. I mean,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: and with like gas isn't gonna last forever. We're not
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: just gonna keep turning oil up, you know.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be I don't think it's gonna
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: be electric. I think it's gonna be fuel made from corn.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: That or something like that.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think it's gonna be something along those lines,
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: or an alternative fuel.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: I don't think it'll be electric. I don't think that's
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: the answer.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: So, because lithium batteries don't like salt water that creates fires,
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: you can't you can't get enough charge to be able
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: to drive them where you need to go. I don't
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: think it's gonna in order to make the electricity, you
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: gotta have coal. I mean, it's great for Kentucky, and
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: that's creating a lot more pollution. So I don't think
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: it's I don't think it's electric. I think it's gonna
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: be some alternative fuel.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I mean, even if you go to corn, there's still
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: gonna be issues with resources at some point.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you're right. But uh, anyway, we gotta take
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: our last break when we come back. Let's talk a
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: little bit about a home that was built down in
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: Florida at a ridiculous height. We'll talk about that, and
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: what are the Louisville Bats doing? I love it. This
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: is the greatest thing. I don't know, maybe it is.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: Maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but we'll talk about
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: the love of bats too as soon as we get
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: back there. Right there, one more segment of Jessicat's coming
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: right up.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: It was beautiful. I was.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: You know, I'm always talking about great intros in the song.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: That's one of them right there, that Tom Petty Darn.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: I love that and that you really think so, oh man,
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: I might have to debate you. Here comes my girl
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: in the start of that song, Narrow Darrow Darryl darn
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: I love that.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Nothing gets me going like running down a dream.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Really, Okay, let's see, I no, I don't. I won't
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: disagree with you. But man, I don't know if it's
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: the greatest Tom Petty song out there. There are so many,
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: and that's just one of those things. How do these
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: guys do that? Because you know, he wrote all his
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: music along with his lead guitarists. But how do they
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: do that? How can they just just they have a
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: knack for making hit after hit after hit after hit.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: I think think of Tom Petty, you two. I think
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: of the Rolling Stones. How they continue to just make
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: hit I don't know if you've heard their new album yet.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: It's really good.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: I've only heard, well, I shouldn't say it's really good,
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: but I've heard two songs off of it, and I
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: really love one of them that I think is phenomenal.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: But how do these guys just have that knack to
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: write hit after hit after hit. It's just it's amazing
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: to me that they're able to do that.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: You're surrounded by good people who are good writers.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: You think, well, now, Tom Petty wasn't surrounded by good
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: people that he just did it himself well with his
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: lead guitarists. He did, so I just I just, you know,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I think of the Eagles, I think of who are
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: some current ones today that I think are just phenomenal
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: at But I don't know if they write them today.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Elton John was one of those kind of guys. He
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: and his Bernie who's writing partner. Just amazing how they
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: were able to write all those different hits. How they
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: do that kind of Phil Collins. Did he write all
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: his own music? I think he did.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: You're the music I know. I don't know either.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: But Josh texted in, I don't know if it's just coincidence,
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: but all the talk of sucket and appendages are too much.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: By the way, I thought Levice had an arm injured.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: Seems like he has an extra. Oh my god, my god,
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: thanks a lot, Josh local John said, John here, Michael,
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: that dang Gopher and Kenny Logan's song I'm All Right
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: in the movie Caddy Check is one of one I
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: always think of, Hey, now moreno, And the next question
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: is who is next? It could be Milan mom Chilovic
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: or some other player removing their name from the NBA
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: draft or it could be a possible reclass from Ryan Hampton.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Either way, some coach Pope haters and Kentucky basketball haters
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: might be eating their word soon. Listen, I'm not certain
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: about Ryan Hampton. Even if he Reclay suppise he's no
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: offense to Ryan Hampton. He's no mom Chilovic. I mean,
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: he doesn't have the experience in college basketball. So I
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Ryan Hamton would be a good get, but not as
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: good as mom Chilovic.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: Am I right about that?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Absolutely? Yeah? I mean I'm sure Hampton could help the team,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: but probably not to the level that you're looking for. Honestly,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: I've gotten to the point with all this. I hope
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: it's somebody that takes their name out of the NBA
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: draft and signs that were like everybody's shocked, we haven't
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: talked about at all. Yeah, I hope it's a player
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: Right, exactly, one person textallus s Patrick texted in Milk
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: is just a tradition of the Indy five hundred. The
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: ritual began in nineteen thirty six, when three time champion
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Lewis Meyer famously drank a refreshing bottle of buttermilk oh
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: in victory Lane. Before the race, all thirty three drivers
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: participate in a milk poll to vote for their milk
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: of choice in the event they win.
- 1:26:59Speaker 4: I didn't know that, did you.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: The options are whole milk, two percent are fat free skim.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Whole milk is historically the most popular and common choice
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: among drivers. That's a bit of history. I did not now.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: I did know that milk was the tradition. I'm just
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: not a big milk drinker. Here's what I would do.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: Here's how I would drink it. If I celebrate in
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: won of the five hundred, I would have them take
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: a gallon of my favorite choice of ice vanilla ice cream,
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: have them melt it.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: And that's what I would drink. Chilled.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: I mean, it's basically milk, Well it is, but it's
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: you know what, It's refreshing, Yeah, exactly, refreshing sugar milk.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: And that I would with some vanilla in it. I
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: would be happy with that.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: If you had to pick a milk to drink in
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: Victory Lane, what would it be? Whole?
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: Oh, it definitely be a whole. Yeah, how about you chocolate?
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: I thought we were saying between the ten and.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: Skill, No, you can pick any milk you want, you can.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: If you want strawberry milk, no, I don't. I would
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: definitely be chocolate milk. I don't like chocolate milk. I
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: just chocolate milk's the best. Okay, buzz texted in Emerson.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Fittipaldi drank o J after his first win at Indy.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: I didn't know that he owned Orange Groves. He got
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: roasted for breaking tradition. Also Indian the dairy farmer's sponsor
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: that spot. Forget it.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: It's good for Fittipaldi for drinking OJ. He's supporting his
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: own livelihood because he.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Owns Orange Grows. I don't have a problem with that.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: If you don't want milk, what if they're allergic.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: To milk or they're lactose intolerant, they can't drink milk.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? I don't know, force him
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: to drink milk. I don't know how you struggle with
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: the names, like you nail that, I know it.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I don't either. I guess because I know who Fittipaldi is.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: It's the only thing I can think of. But yeah,
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: you're right. I struggle with so many names. Either I
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: forget what their name is, or I just I can't
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: pronounce them, or then I'll find one and I can
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: just nail it like that a little bats.
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: Have you seen this announced? They will be offering for
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: the first time ever? Have you seen this?
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: Okay, good with.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: The per at the park?
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: Oh I did see this? You did see you? Okay? Oh?
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: Absolutely?
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: I'm asking all cat owners to bring your cats to
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: the game May twenty six, which is tonight at six
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: thirty five. But here's the only caveat all owners have
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: to sign a waiver that your pet is up to
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: date on vaccinations. How many people will really bring their
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: cats to the game tonight?
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Look the bark in the park across the country.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: That's fun.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: That's fun. I don't know how I feel about a
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: bunch of cats walking. I don't have anything against cats, person.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: I think it's hilarious. I mean, I guess it would
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: be intrigued. If you've got like people there with Savannah cats.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: I think that would be pretty bad ass. But that's
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: gonna be your common health. And what are they gonna do?
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: Put them on a leash? Cat?
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: Well, that's a leashed They have to be on a
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: leash or in a carrier. Now you know my cats.
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: I've been in carriers. They hate them. I don't. I
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: don't like cats. I'm a dog guy, and yet I'm
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: forced to have two cats. But I love these cats, okay,
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: because I love animals. But they have never been put
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: on a leash before. How's that gonna work?
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't. I don't see this going over all
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: that well.
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: The one thing they said, there's no free roaming, so
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: there's no cats allowed to just simply roam. Who's gonna
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: let the cat's gonna be running everywhere if you if
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: you did that, but.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: You're you're lighting one of the most temperamental animals to
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: just be on a leash or in a crate and
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: just sit there and be content. Cats are built like that.
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: No, they're not. This is this is I I hope
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: it works.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: I did like the fact that they're charging every person
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: that brings the cat. You gotta pay three dollars and
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: you're asking why, Well the three dollars. One of the
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: three dollars is going to the Kentucky Humane Society, which
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I think is really cool.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Am I gonna go up to the concessions and get
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: a bowl of cat food for old Rufus? Rufus. My
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: uncle's name was Rufus. My grandfather's name was Rufus.
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: And you come up with Rufus making because I know
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: you're making fun of that name, but that was my
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: grandfather's name, Rufus.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, but uh yeah.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: I would like to know if anybody's really taking their cat,
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: and if they do, I gotta see pictures of this.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: I don't want to see.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta have proof that you went to the
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: Bat's game tonight with your cat sitting there, And I'm
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: with you, what are you gonna feed him? Do they
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: feed him dog chow when they're when they bring the
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: dogs there? Is that a concessions? I don't think so, okay,
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: because dogs.
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: Will eat anything. Will cats eat anything? I think they will.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: I mean, just turn all the mice loose. I guess.
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: I bet one of the best things he would eat
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: was a hot dog, just to get back at hot dogs.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Come on, man, cats smashing glizzies at the Louisville Bats. Gzzies.
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: Oh here we go again. Oh my gosh. That's when
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: I miss Matthew the most. But anyway, congratulations on that,
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: Louisville Bats. I applaud you for doing this, so I'm
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: glad you are before we go through. The UK has
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: three former guards that were recognized Sunday Night on this
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: year's All NBA team. Of course, Shay Gilges, Alex Angels
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: on the first team, in Tyrese Maxey Jamal Murray selected
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: on the third team, so good for them. Carl Anthony
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: Towns kind of blows my mind. He's not on any
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: team yet. He's in the finals, but he received votes
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: as as well as bam Adebayo, So there you go.
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: Uh, that's uh, that's it for today. Is this two hours?
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: You know, when we have a day off like that,
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: it usually seems like the first day Baptist flies by
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: the day, but anyway, it'll be. It's it's nice to
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: have a short week this week, which I'm real excited about.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: And then you know, that's official start of summer. So
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: everybody appreciate you listening. We'll see you tomorrow. And just
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: the cats, I felt so good
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Lacking anything was possible.
