Thanks for asking. Yeah. I'm pretty eventful, but. How about your, how about your Monday? Monday was good. Yeah. played some golf today. Shout out for. Big news in the golf game. Big news. Shot 99. That's your first time breaking a hundred at a real course. Officially. made a real course. Well, I think you've done it at Lake Park, but that... Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if I that. Yeah, that's I'm saying. Yeah, like maybe I broke a hundred at Lake Park, but like I was hitting like really good shots. I was playing really well today. I know I shot 99. That's not great, but... For anyone listening, that is really good for Matt. For me it is. For listen, anybody listening besides my girlfriends, if all want to tee it up. Yeah. Line it up. Line it up. I'm not scared. I had a good weekend too. It was really busy. I played some softball this weekend and, ⁓ we ended up winning the championship. So shout out to my softball team. Shout out. I'll put a picture here. We lost our first game as we normally traditionally do. And then went on to win nine games, eight games in a row. ended up going eight and one won the championship. So. was a long day, nine hours of softball, my body's still sore. So I'm glad I'm doing a podcast today instead of going for a run or something. Long day of beating middle-aged fathers. Pretty much, pretty much. Actually I played, I played pretty well. So I was, I was happy with, with how my softball game went. Speaking of which, we can get into Brodys of the Week. And that leads me into one of my Brodys of the Week. Texas Tech Softball. Everyone, if you're watching the podcast, if you're not driving, I'm wearing my Texas Tech shirt. Because once again, Texas Tech has got me back. I am ready to rock with the Raiders once again. Everyone knows my alma mater, Matt, your alma mater as well. We love Texas Tech here on this podcast. Texas Tech softball, the Lady Raiders had a historic comeback against Ole Miss and the ⁓ NCAA regionals. They trailed zero to eight in the bottom of the seventh inning of the regional with two outs. They ended up scoring eight runs in a row. And once again, this was with Two outs, a shout out to Lauren Allred who hit a game tying grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game eight eight, send it into extras. Tech Tech was able to then walk it off and won with a final score of 10 to nine in the eighth inning. So historic, Matt, did you happen to see this game? No, sure. No. Did you see the highlights of this game? I was indisposed. Also no, I was also indisposed. I was not able to watch this game live. I said, I was on Saturday. I was playing in a softball tournament. I did go back and watch the highlights, especially like the last two innings. That's all you really needed to watch. That's when Texas Tech scored. Matt, this century teams are 0 and 640 when trailing by eight runs or more in the NCAA softball tournament. It is now 1 in 640. Shout out to the Lady Raiders who then on Sunday were They took down Ole Miss again to advance to the Super Regional. So now the number 11 Texas Tech Lady Raiders will play number six, Florida, and the Gainesville Super Regional that starts Friday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. Central Standard Time. And the winner of that series, best two out of three, will advance to the College World Series, which I think, I believe is in Oklahoma. Yeah, because men's baseball is in Omaha, women's is in Oklahoma. Does the softball teams have like a lot of relief pitchers? normally, normally they rock with two or three pitchers. ⁓ We've talked about in past podcasts, Najee Kennedy, ⁓ pitcher for Texas Tech. This was her last home game. Texas Tech did get kind of screwed in the super regional that they, don't get to host a super regional. They lost in the tournament and their big 12th tournament to Arizona state, who I guess the committee then penalized them, moved them all the way down to 11 because they were number four in the country. Um, they got penalized by that, it turns out Arizona States actually really good team too, cause they were able to win their regional and advanced to the super, super regional as well. So. Shout out to the committee for screwing TechsTech once again. Well, I going to ask, obviously when Tech put up two, three, four runs, obviously the starter got called out probably. I don't think so. was the same, it was the same pitcher. The entire, okay. Yeah. Well then there you go. I mean, they had two outs and the bases were loaded and more already comes up. That's a grand slam. That is actually like, it would have been, all right. I don't want to nitpick it a little bit, but it would have been cool if it was a walk off grand slam. But the fact that it was game tying and just the way I'm not going to nitpick that was, it's still really cool. All right. It's still shout out that Texas tech coming through once again. ⁓ but yeah, they should be in good position. ⁓ actually, you know, we talked about sex tech getting screwed, possibly by the committee. It's really Florida that gets screwed. Cause now you got to play a really good Texas tech team and Texas tech was on a roll. ended up beating old miss a run old old miss and the set on the game on Sunday. So they're hitting their stride at the right time. Shout out. Lady Raiders shout out to the lady Raiders. Maddie, what are you into your birdie of the week? Also speed up another winner. Mr. Aaron Rye just won the PGA championship this last weekend. is his first major and only his second PGA tour win. So that's a good ratio. He shot nine under yesterday. He's the first player from England to win the PGA championship in 107 years. Yeah. I did see, they said it was the first time someone from England has won since they've done stroke play. guess the PGA championship used to be match play or something. I wasn't a lie back then, so I wouldn't know. So first man to win for him. He's also the first PGA championship champion. to score is also the first PGA championship champion to score a lower score in each round. So Thursday shot 70, Friday 69, Saturday 67 and yesterday shot a 65. Mr. Two Glove Aaron Rye was actually the one that did well on the course. I was going to say, cause that's kind of a uncommon, maybe frowned upon thing. Two Gloves. ⁓ he also uses iron covers and that's kind of something that, you know, if you showed up to a course to play and you get matched with somebody that's wearing two gloves and has iron covers, you kind of make fun of him a little bit or something. Just cause that's not normally what people do. Did you hear the broadcast on talking about why he does that? No. So he wears two gloves because he's from England and it gets really cold. So he's always like played in the, like the it's like. They're not even like golf gloves. They're just like all purpose weather gloves or something like that. ⁓ But whether it's, whether he's playing in the summer in Texas or he's playing up in Pennsylvania or playing back in England, like he always wears two gloves. It's just something he's always grown up doing. So it feels normal to him now. I've always wondered like why golfers wouldn't want to wear two gloves. Cause like part of it is like you get more grip. I think the reason a lot of people don't is like you get one hand and get grip with, and the other hand, you can get a better feel for the club. I think that has something to do with it, but I think it's all kind of what you're used to doing. And then the iron covers, he does that because his dad used to clean his clubs after every round that he played. So he doesn't want to forget where he came from. I'm not going to lie. Aaron Rye winning this kind of boring. I was really hoping. Yeah, listen. I, he's a great guy. First of all, Aaron Rye seems like a really cool dude. ⁓ but there was just some big names on the leaderboard. I was hoping someone was going to make a splash and, know, Aaron rye, once again, I'm happy that he won, you know, never going to cut someone down for, you know, doing something exceptional, especially like winning a PGA championship, winning a major. ⁓ what? Yeah. But like John Rom was there. Justin Thomas shot five under on the day. ⁓ Ludwig Albert, which he's kind of not showed up in some of these tournaments. Not able to really finish it out. ⁓ cam Smith, Zander Schauffele. ⁓ I say Rory McRoy, but Rory was kind of fighting with the crowd a little bit. Justin Thomas was there, Scotty. mean, just, was hoping a big name would win it, you know, shout out Aaron Rye, able to do it. But I just don't know if it's not the biggest name to win the tournament. That's, think this was fun. His second win ever on the tour was a major. Yeah. And it's dope. What was his first win? I don't know. It might've been. Like Bermuda, I got it real quick. I saw a tweet. Um, was something I asked him like, who's the best player on tour right now that you think would like never win a major. And like you said earlier, I, maybe Ludwig. Well, better maybe he, I mean, obviously Tommy Fleetwood would be an easy answer, but maybe Ludwig never gets it done, but he'll finish, you know, top five. I think this was his fifth or his fourth top five finish in a major. Yeah. But obviously he's super young. He's got a long way to go, but I thought it was interesting. I mean, he's only 26. Yeah. I mean, yeah, he's got a long way to go. Tommy Fleetwood also never won. So I also, I see here that Aaron Rye found his second win. It was the 2024 Wyndham championship. So it's also pretty recent. I mean, he's been someone that's been up there a little bit. I've always seen his name show up on like the Sundays and stuff, but he's never been able to really pull through like this tournament. Um, I will say it seemed like he handled the course. Like you said, Matt, he shot under par or I guess he shot 70 the first day, right? So he shot par the first day and then he went under par, under par, under par again. the, the course, aeronomic in Pennsylvania had these PGA professionals. An absolute hell. Scotty Schaeffler said it was some of the hardest pin locations that he's ever had to play in a tournament, especially a major championship. ⁓ Nine under was the winning score. And that's just like, I like that. I like to see these PGA guys struggle a little bit. Like next week we got the Byron Nelson, I guess this week we had the Byron Nelson here in Dallas. You're probably going to see a winning score of like 23 under 26 on it. think that's what Schaeffler was last year when he won it. Um, Aaron Rye is also going to be competing in the Byron Nelson. saw he's going to be someone that's there. going to have probably a bigger crowd following them now. You can get interviews from them. Maybe you can get an interview from them. We're by the way, everyone, we are working on tickets for the Byron Nelson. We will keep you updated if we make it or not. We are local. Yeah, we are, we are local to the Byron Nelson. It's literally right in our backyard. So we're going to try and make it there. Uh, Scotty Schaeffler is playing in it. Uh, Jordan Spieth is going to be there. Brooks Koepka. So Byron Nelson, if you're listening. We're also looking for tickets, but we're working on the behind the scenes trying to get Mr. Nelson. you're tuning in, don't think Mr. Nelson student in. But mean, Aaron, right. It's, was a really good feel good story that he was able to pull out the wind and he had a amazing putt. think it was 17th, whatever the par three was, it was like a 60 or 70 foot putt that he sunk for birdie. And that was kind of like the, the, the kill shot at the tournament. Yeah. And so I have this stats for the last 10 holes. for Ann Ra in the clutch time. Seven of eight fairways hit eight of 10 greens hit only 14 putts. One Eagle, four birdies, zero bogeys. There's less than holes. When he had to get it done, he got it done. He was absolutely in the clutch on a Sunday at a major event. Yeah, there was a, who was it? Smalley. He was leading the tournament going into the final round. ⁓ and then kind of You know, blew up a little bit. ⁓ actually I think he shot, he shot even, ⁓ and finished at six under. So he was tied for second with John Rom. ⁓ not a bad payout. Yeah. I just, some of the guys you think that you'd never heard their name before you think, okay, well they can't get a major championship one. ⁓ I saw the list of, I have to find it real quick. It just takes one good weekend. know the, like the severity or the gravity of the majors is going to weigh on a lot of people. like those big names are going to be up there, but yeah. here's the last 10 men's majors championship winners. goes Scotty Scheffler, Xander Schauffley, Bryson D. Shambow, Xander Schauffley, Roy McRoy, Scotty Scheffler, JJ Spahn, Scotty Scheffler, Roy McRoy, now Aaron Rye. Holy Baron Arrington. What's up? Polar bear in Arlington. Yeah, pretty much. Maybe we'll see what he does this week. Yeah, we'll see if he can keep it going for the Byron Nelson. Speaking of stuff that was going on this weekend, Matt, you have another birdie of the week. I do. Am I going first? Yeah, you go ahead. Mrs. Ronda Rossi. Apparently this was her last fight ever. And she kind of put a stamp on her goat career. She was fighting Gia Carano and Submitted her in 17 seconds via arm bar. Yeah. This was another thing that I missed because I was playing softball, but it sounds like I was, I was able to just watch the whole fight on Twitter. was just a very quick 17 second clip. Yeah. I mean, I, I know G I mean, I only know G. Corona from Mandalorian. She was in, she was an actress in there. I didn't know she was a fighter. But I learned that recently. Apparently she fought like a long time ago, years ago. But, ⁓ I guess this might've been like a, maybe perhaps a money grab situation. Possibly. For for either side. Yeah. I did see Ronnie Rousey said that she is, you mentioned this was the last fight of her career. She said she's gonna start having kids now. So shout out to Ronna starting her family. Um, but this was an absolute dominant victory. It was, it was her patented arm bar, which she's done a lot in her career. Um, I, I was hoping that the fight would last a little bit longer than that, but once again, I didn't get to watch it much. So I'm glad it was 17 seconds. So was able to quick recap of it. Um, and then honestly, there was a, there was a bunch of other good fights going on. I believe Francis Nagani was also fighting and Nick, called out John Jones. Yeah, Nick Diaz. called out John Jones. Yeah. Not a phrase that has ever been said before. think if there's one person that could utter the phrase, it's Francis Noganu. That's fair. He's a dog. Absolute tank. Anyways, I also kind of posed the question, could we last longer than 17 seconds? Against Ronda Rousey? Against Mrs. Ronda Rousey? If she... Probably not. Maybe both of us at the same time, we could. Because it would take probably 17 seconds to take one of us down. I think it would be like, if it was both of us, it'd have to be like, could she submit both of us in a minute? Well, it would be, she'd probably knock me out within seven seconds, I think. Even with my varsity wrestling. Yeah, true. If you go to the ground, you're going to at least have some type of If I go to the ground, I don't know. I've done a couple boxing classes. could, you know, if it stays on the feet, I might be okay. Yeah, so we're done. So we're cooked. Yeah, I pretty much, I both of together we can make it over 17 seconds. I think one at a time though. 18 maybe. 18 maybe. Maybe I just wouldn't tap, just let her snap my arm. I let Gio Carano snap my arm. Mrs. Carano, I'm available. Respectfully. Speaking of another fight that was going on, getting into my Brody the Week, kind of overshadowed this fight that was going on, which was a little bit, we're gonna get into a little bit of the weird play that was going on here. But Conor McGregor has announced he's making his return to the Octagon to fight Max Holloway on July 11th at UFC 329 in Las Vegas. Now there is a little controversy because UFC CEO Dana White made the announcement via Instagram Live Saturday during Netflix's first MMA event. when Francis Higano, I believe, was walking out, he made this announcement, kind of take some eyeballs off the competition and Jake Paul's event. Um, to put more eyes back on the UFC. If anyone doesn't know, Jake Paul and Dana White have had kind of a strange little beef. So people are speculating that this was on purpose to kind of, you know, put a shadow over the event. People kind of, you know, tune out of it. They want to talk about Conor McGregor now. Uh, Jake Paul responded, um, in an interview, he said, yeah, that's cool. Drop it during our event. That just shows how pressed they, the UFC are. So Matt, do you think that this was on purpose? No. I don't, I don't think Dana White gives ⁓ a, F word about Jake Paul. It was most certainly on purpose. No way, dude. Yes. Why would he make this announcement any other time this week? He could have made this announcement. He waited till Saturday and right when Francis had got like, well, right when the main card was starting, he wants to announce that Conor McGregor's come back to UFC. So everyone then goes, runs over on Twitter and is like, ⁓ Conor McGregor's fighting Max Holloway. Let's talk about this instead of the Netflix event. And Ron D'Rousey making her return. know, like who... I mean, Dana Wyatt, guess, maybe it is. I Dana Wyatt, at the end of the day, is a businessman. He is a businessman. So maybe this was a business decision. He's also a vengeful man. He's gonna go after Jake Paul. But also, I just... I don't like Jake Paul, anyway, so... Yeah, I think it's just a battle of who's more petty. What is his event? What? Jake Paul. He was the one that put this Netflix event on for Ron D'Rousey. Oh... So he did it during this event. ⁓ I don't know. mean, I guess she could have, he could have done it at any time and got the same amount of traction, the same amount of interaction from, from that. maybe, it was intentional. I think it was most certainly intentional, but besides the point, this is the, I'll get it now to like the little bit of the fight. ⁓ this is the second fight ever between Connor McGregor and Max Holloway. They first fought. back all the way in August 17th of 2013 and Conor McGregor won on a unanimous decision. And this was also like during his prime, during his come up, he was on a 15 fight win streak from 2011 to 2015. This was like the notorious age here of UFC that we're talking about. So now we turn the page here and McGregor's making his comeback. He's gonna, he's right now he's 37 years old. This fight is on July 11th. His birthday is July 14th, so he's really going to be closer to 38 than he is 37. And he has not fought since 2021 when he broke his foot against Dustin Poirier. And he has not won a fight since January of 2020 when he was, when he TKO'd Donald Cowboy Cerrone. Max Holloway on the other hand, he's now 34 years old. He's coming off a tough loss to Charles Olivera, back in March of this year, of 2026. And Holloway opens as the early favorite for this fight at minus three at minus 395. So Matt, who you got in this fight? I will say Holloway is the taller person as well in this, the reach there. think they're fighting at 155. Maybe 185. Let me see real quick. believe that was, yeah, I believe they're fighting at 155. got to go with the charismatic. The Irishman. You're going with Conor McGregor. I'm have to. Uh, if you want to talk about a money grab, I think this is a money grab for McGregor. I'm going Max Holloway. Uh, not only taller, actually he doesn't have as much reach as McGregor, but he's just been fighting more active. Like Con McGregor, feel like he's been off kind of living a lavish lifestyle. He was even running for like president of Ireland in this off time. He's movies. Yeah, he's done movies. He was in Roadhouse. Yeah, Roadhouse. He was involved in some Irish whiskey businesses. ⁓ I just don't think we always say the hungry dog fights harder. feel like Conor McGregor, once he kind of hit his peak of UFC, he just really didn't have that edge anymore to him. ⁓ so we're going to get to see a good fight here. Cause we know Conor McGregor is going to sell the fight. We know it's not going to be just a normal everyday. Hey, we got this going on. No, it's Conor McGregor. He's going to be full on in the clips. He's going to be. Calling out Max Holloway is probably going to say something super controversial about him. ⁓ But I also saw on this fight card, Patty Pimlet is also fighting on ⁓ the undercard right before. So it's going to overall be a pretty good card. And I think Dana White knew what he was doing. He announced this fight. Also just UFC in general could have been my Brody of the Week. So now they're going to have UFC 250, Freedom 250, which is June 14th at the White House later this summer. It's going to be Ilya Taporier taking on Justin Gaethje. I think, uh, isn't John Jones fighting in that card as well? Who's going to be on somebody on that card? think. No, I don't think it's John Jones. Who was it? It is someone I pulled the card. Uh, Alex Pierre is fighting on that card and then Sean O'Malley's fight on that card. John Jones was going to be on that card. Apparently Dana White and him had a little bit of a fallout. There were some. Dana White, I think wants him to kind of push towards retirement. Get the good out of there. Yeah. I think there was a little bit of fallout, but we'll see. But overall, UFC, it's going to be a pretty good fight. I think both these cards will be in pretty good cards. UFC is going to have a big summer coming up. So that's our birdies of the week. Next we're going come back and do some of the top headlines and kind of what's going around in sports world. All right. We're back to do some top headlines that are going around, starting off with Matt's Aaron Rodgers. We were talking about the last podcast. Who's going to retire first? Tim or LeBron? Well, it won't be Aaron Rodgers at least for one more season. He has signed a one year deal with the Steelers. It's around $25 million. Matt, what are your thoughts on this? Again, I don't, I guess Steve has got a new coach in. Mike McCarthy. And Mike McCarthy bringing back his boy from their Green Bay days. Kind of reunion. Maybe trying to. Start off on the right foot, I guess. Obviously if Aaron Rodgers is there, they're going to win more games. And if he's not there probably, but still not going to make the playoffs done on, going to win the Superbowl. I would rather just start roll with Will Howard or Joe Reiller. They just drafted, but good for them. They got a good receiving core. Michael Petman, DK Matt Kafe, think Aaron Rodgers coming back to this team. First of all, it's amazing, or I'm just, I'm glad to see that this happened early. You know, we're talking about this in May versus I think last year it was dragged on to what, June or July until he decided he was coming back. He's already showed up at OTAs this week. So it's like the voluntary workouts that they do. He's already gone and got his physical. And apparently a lot of the guys on the Steelers are just shocked, starting off with. Peyton Wilson, one of the Steelers linebackers, he was shocked. was walking into the building, Rodgers walking out. goes, man, that's really Aaron Rodgers. Or Michael Pittman in the first couple of plays at OTAs, he caught a ball from Aaron Rodgers and he goes, man, I can't believe I got to play with Philip Rivers and now I'm playing with Aaron Rodgers. Just two Hall of Famers right there. ⁓ But everyone's just happy to see him around. think, yeah, you talked about, they got Will Howard, Drew Howard, Mason Rudolph. Aaron Rodgers at least, I think gets, what's up? I just included Major Rudolph in there for. Well, I'm just saying those are the quarter, that's the quarterback room. Yeah. Okay. Those are the other guys they have. I'm not saying they start either. I think you don't start any of those guys over Aaron Rodgers. think Aaron Rodgers gets you back to the playoffs. Unfortunately, I don't think he wins you a Super Bowl. But I think this is. I don't think he gets to the playoffs. You don't think he gets to the playoffs? I think he gets, ⁓ I guess the NFC North is very competitive with what the Bengals are doing and the Ravens. Um, I mean, I guess the Browns are just the Browns, so you don't have to worry too much about them. That clip is going to come back to haunt me when Chidor is making the playoff run. Dachon, think. Oh, is it Dachon starting form? Leading that, leading that. Probably because they paid him too much Offseason quarterback raise. Uh, but yeah, you talk, you talk about just like the receiving room. Like they do have Michael Pittman Jr. They do have DK Metcalf. Um, there's Roman Wilson, Pat Firemuth. A lot of good talent there in the Steelers wide receiver room and just tight end room. I think it's going to be pretty good fit for him. think he comes in once again, 42 years old. So it's like, how well can his body hold up through the NFL season? Overall, I'm just glad we're not having to wait too long to see if Aaron Rodgers is coming back to the Steelers. He's already signed. He's already showing up OTAs. So there won't be any speculation of who the quarterback. I think this honestly just helps when teams get like early signings like this, especially when it's one that's. ⁓ Not controversial, but it took a lot of attention away from the team last year. Like they were just like wondering if he was going to come back or not. And this year he already decided pretty early, Hey, I'm back with the Steelers. Let's, let's run this thing back and see where we can get to. I just think a full, healthy Joe Burrow and Laura at Lamar Jackson. I don't know if they really have a chance at. Well, that's the thing with the Steelers. Like they're, they're always like, what was it? Mike Tomlin. They were always just like above 500 and they would never get like a high draft pick, but they would never like. get over the hump and get to the soup bowl, except for what, they get one or two with Big Ben? Two, I believe. Two, yeah. So, I mean, once again, a lot of teams would take two, but Steelers fans, I've talked to them, they kind of would just like to get a top draft pick and get something more, but kind of seems like they just keep running into the same wall over and over every year. Now they don't have Mike Tomlin, so. Now they don't have Mike Tomlin. They got Mike McCarthy, so still Mike there in Pittsburgh. As a Cowboys fan, good luck. It's similar in statute as well. Shifting from NFL to NBA, we're going to talk about game seven that went down. Game seven between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons. happened on Sunday. Cleveland Cavaliers absolutely blew this game away. They won 125 to 94. I'm not going to lie. I stopped watching in the third quarter just because it was an absolute beat down. I Detroit would show a little bit more fight, but their guys just did not show up. Um, just going through kind of what I saw in the box score, uh, Tobias Harris, five points, Jalen Durin, seven points, Cade Cunningham, 13, Sir Thompson with five and Dancis, Dancis Jenkins, uh, with 17 points. And then Duncan Robinson with 13 off the bench. They just did not show up, did not. It seemed like, I feel like having the home court advantage, they were at least going to make this game competitive. was really like, you know, game sevens really hope they're They're closing back and forth. This one just seemed like it was not. James Harden did try his best to ruin this game seven. had nine points, for 6 from three. But Donovan Mitchell and Jared Allen, Evan Mobley absolutely took over the game, dominated it and the Cavs move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. Yeah, all through those guys, 20 plus points each. I think James Harden shouldn't, I know he had a horrible game, but he shouldn't be the guy. He's more of a compliment now. his career. no, but there's always the meme going around of him in game six and game seven, just not showing up and it's a true, but luckily the Cavs had a lot more firepower this year or this, this series. only that was just the playoffs. He's been known as like a playoff dropper, but he's, been earlier in the series. He was kind of winning them their games. Um, so now he didn't have to be that first option. I think that's where he fits in well. Absolutely. Although this is a horrible game for him, but it's not going to over six from three is great. Luckily the Pistons just did not play that much better. Very scratching from the fact that he went over six from three and they still blew up this game. Like it could have been a lot worse. ⁓ but the Pistons just, and I was watching it very, like very early in the game, it just seemed like nothing was dropping for the Pistons. They would get breakaways. They'd go for a dunk in the ball with his back off the rim and then shoot out. Like you just couldn't, you'd think like being at home, you'd have these better shots and your role players play better. Unfortunately, I just don't think. I think the Pistons did very good in the regular season. I don't think they were a true one seed. Also, I saw in the Eastern Conference, the one seed has only made it to the NBA finals once in like the last 10 years. It was the Celtics who went on to win in 2024. But other than that, the first round seeds have always ended up losing in at least the second round. Yeah, was, I was thinking about this earlier as well. There's obviously a lot of game sevens this year. There's been a lot of variability in the conference. ⁓ I don't know if that does that make them better or worse? Like as a conference in general, think from a, like a fan's perspective, it makes it better because you're like, okay, any of these teams have a chance to actually win. Like we all remember like Jimmy Butler leading the heat to the finals. And it's like, how are the heat in the finals right now? It was like last year with, Tyrese Halberton taking the paces to the finals. Yeah. It's just like, there's more of a chance for a run. So like, don't know if the Eastern Conference is weak or if they're like super strong and that that's what creates that type of anybody can win mentality. There's a lot more parody in the East. I wouldn't say like whether it's strong or weak because like we're going to get into a little bit, but the Knicks absolutely dominated their series and swept, uh, who'd they sweep? It's been so long since the Knicks have played who'd they The Sixers. The Sixers, yeah. But the Sixers in Boston went to a game seven. So it's like, there's a lot more parity versus like, we'll get into a little bit. OKC, Spurs kind of been handling their series. Speaking of which, do we want to get into a little bit of what you also had? Yeah, I'll go into the Spurs Wolves. Spurs dominated kind of that entire series was 4-2 win. But, uh, dominated that game six a lot. Eight minutes left in the fourth quarter. were up 33 and Anthony Edwards was seen going across the entire court and shaking hands with the entire Spurs bench. I granted, I know they were down 33 at this point. I understand. have like a 99.9999 % of. chance of losing that game they're going to lose regardless of what happens. But dude, like he was ready. It's like, it's a that he was waving waving the white flag, Like I want to see as a fan, I would have, mean, a fan of basketball, I hated to see that, but a fan, if you're a fan of the wolves, if I was a fan of the wolves, I would have despised seeing that. I don't know if there's too many wolves fans watching down 33 though. Maybe the diehards. still they're at, I mean, they're at home. They're in Minnesota. Eight minutes left. I mean, there's still a chance like Tracy McGrady scored. 13 and like 20, whatever seconds years ago. don't know. Yeah. I mean, there's, still a chance. There's a chance. I'll be the small chance, but dude, give me some fight. Chuck up threes. After you like you get the ball after you step after half court chuck the ball up I'd rather watch that then watch my star player Shake the hands of the opponent's bench with eight minutes left in the fourth of a game where if you lose it you're going home you're in a flight to Cabo the next day. I think the wolves were in over They were in a little bit over their heads. We did see that fight in game one when they you know went into the Spurs house and they hit them with a punch and they took game one. Unfortunately, I think the Wolves just were not healthy enough in this series. And first of all, the Spurs are a very good team. We've been saying like, they're a little bit ahead of schedule, but women yama is going to be a problem in the NBA. I think he knew that they were beat and there comes a time in every series, like when you just got to be like, okay, we're beat, we're done. Now, yes, as a Wolves fan, would I like to see him wait until the end of the game to do that? Of course. But these, neither of these, my teams, I'm impartial. I don't mind it. If he wants to go back to the locker room, take an early shower, it's not going to look good to his teammates, but it doesn't bother me. Cause once again, it's not my team. did he, did he leave the court after or did he just, he was just shaking hands and went back? I mean, imagine he then had to go and reshake their hands again at the end of the game. Yeah. I mean, this was like after the coach decided on like emptying the bench. Oh yeah. But still, mean, coach weighed the white flag first then. Dude. Ant has in that, that certain scenario, if they had said I'm staying in, like the starters are going to stay in, we're going to play. Like, I think that would be the case. So he would have had to agree with the other coach. That or the coach should make the call and Ant just had to go with it. And it was like, okay, I'm going go over to the Spurs bench and tell them to come get me then. You think Michael Jordan? Or Kobe Bryant would have been like, sure coach, we're done. minutes left. It's an elimination game. minutes left. Sure coach. We're done. They wouldn't have. That's the problem with today's NBA. There's none of those. There's heated rivalries where another man hates another man and wants to beat him in a series. Like everyone in the NBA now, it seems like they're all buddy, buddy. It seems like they're friends and cool. We're going to get into a little bit, but there is a little bit of a rivalry coming up in the conference finals. However, for the most part, the NBA, it's kind of gone soft. Like once again, like you said, Jordan wouldn't do that. Kobe wouldn't do that. They looked across the court or across wherever and they were just like, that's, that's the guy I got to take down. That's who I'm going to beat. And until they hit me with a kill shot, I'm not going to give up. ⁓ but that's kind what we run into today. Yeah. I just, mean, it's not even like the buddy buddy thing. Like it's just a mentality of winning that I guess they don't have. I don't know. I mean, obviously you're going to lose, but you want to go out fighting, right? You want to go out without your fence on the court. You want to go out with your start. I mean, what's the point. You're going to go off season anyways. I guess maybe injury prevention played a role. know ant is hyper extended his knee going into the series, but still, mean, it's the last game you're going to play. on. At least for the season. Yes. All right, Matt. Next, let's move into your favorite segment, which is SGA. Shay Gildas Alexander wins his second consecutive MVP award and it was announced on Sunday night. First of all, guess Shams broke this news and the NBC or Amazon Prime was supposed to be the one that made the official announcement. So there's a little bit of beef. Once again, we talked about Dana White make an announcement on Jake Paul's night. Shams then goes and makes this announcement. When Amazon prime was supposed to, if people were kind of getting mad saying, Sean should be doing his job. ⁓ I want to know how much, Sean's got the information to break it. Because I mean, like, I think everyone knew that SG was going to win the award, but to have the official report out before, ⁓ Amazon prime can make the announcement. just saw like, ⁓ Dirk and, ⁓ was it Blake Griffin and Steve Nash were all kind of like, come on, Sean, what are you doing? Let it come out naturally called Shams and nerd. Yeah. Just, you know, let it talk about some that's kind going on in the NBA. That's kind of his job to be fair. Shams breaking news like that, but not this type of news. Yeah. But it was like ESPN. We talked about did they, why do on purpose ESPN did this on purpose because they wanted to be the ones that got the tweet out there first. They want to be the ones that broke the information. Would you get some, SGA stats? I do. Um, this is all hateful spiteful stats, least valuable MVP winners. What in quote since 1997, just based on the team's net rating with the player off the court. Number one is 2011 Rose. I don't, I don't want to get into that cause Derek Rose is a goat. Uh, number two is Shay though. So they're, they're a plus 5.7 without shit on the court. Three is 2018 Harden plus 5.2. Four is 2026 Shea plus 4.2. Number five is 2019 Giannis plus 3.2. So both, of his MVPs, apparently they're better with him off the court. don't. Yeah. You're just trying to hate on Shea. I got some good Shea stuff here. I'll give him some praise. ⁓ SGA is the first guard to repeat as an MVP since 2016 Steph Curry. He's also the fifth guard in NBA history to win multiple MVPs. All five of them won at least two in consecutive seasons, starting with Michael Jordan, five, Magic Johnson, three, SGA, two, Steph Curry, two, and Steve Nash also with two. ⁓ As far as just back-to-back winners, he's the 14th NBA MVP back-to-back winner. ⁓ It goes Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, LeBron James, Steph Curry, Janis, Nikolaj Jokic, and now Shay Gildes Alexander. So joining some elite company. do have the voting results in front of me. So first place was Shay, obviously with 83. Second was Jokic with 10. Third was Wimby with five. ⁓ fourth was K with two. So that means our beloved Luka Donchich didn't get a single first place vote. Yeah. And I think he, I don't know why he didn't get a single vote. He was the leading points per game. Everyone says like she's more efficient, but she was second in points per game. So obviously didn't add too much to it. I think there's a lot of controversy around, ⁓ people are saying Yoke-ich and Wimby. There should be more votes first place votes for Wimbanyama over Jokic. That's crazy. That's crazy. But Jokic lead the league in rebounds and assists. Yeah. Average of triple double. I'm not sure how much more valuable you could be than that. know. People were expecting Wimbanyama to be more in second place. I was like, that's kind of crazy. mean, we talked about, we said if Luka wasn't eligible, we were going to give our votes to Jokic. I'm just with basically he was able to do. I did see Shay Gildes, the gifts. Did you see the gifts that he got the Thunder teammates? They're not. He got them all trench coats, trench coats, and then some APs, some watches. And then he also got them some golf clubs, but I think everyone was more going with the trench coats and the watches over the golf clubs. I'd be like, also the golf bags had like no golf clubs in them. So maybe it's like they're getting them. Especially fitted like imagine Chet having to get fitted for a golf club. Yeah getting him a fucking 60 inch driver Yeah, it's be super tall custom that and they also got him a free Spotify premium memberships I guess they some of them didn't have Spotify premium You got a new iPhone 17 with free AT &T service custom Canadian tuxedo sets and custom Don Julio 1942 bottles Interesting gifts gift set there. What's out of those? What you want Matt from Shay if the golf bag comes with custom clubs then that I mean actually like AP I mean AP I'll sell it and then I'll get my clubs and then a car Right I also saw that it's now been Almost 10 years since an American has won the MVP award If anyone doesn't know SGA is Canadian So we may not see an American born MVP for a while unless Cooper flag somehow magically goes nuclear next season. Cause right now it's probably going to be Wimben Yama. It's going to win the next 10 and he's French. She didn't even lead guards and Canadian guards and it's just per game anyways. Who was the other Canadian guard? Oh, just throwing saps out there. saw it too and I trust it. I trust the tweet. He doesn't pass like that. No. Well, like I said, James Harden in 2018 was the last American to win the MVP. Last born American to win the MVP. Do you know the, uh, the next American born MVP? Before James Harden? No, the next one. That's coming up? Yeah. It's going be Cooper Flag. Correct. If he's the only one I think that's, well, Cade Cunningham. He could also do it. Maybe. Who else? Who else is there that could have a real shot at it being an American? Jaylen Brunson, Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum, Steph Curry's best days are probably behind him. was to say Paolo, but probably not. ⁓ Paolo Bencaro. Yeah. The league is just dominated by foreigners now. Yeah, European competition. Actually, I shouldn't even say foreign. Yeah, because Shay's Canadian. That's foreign. Yeah, I was going to say European though. ⁓ Canada is not Europe. We've learned, if anyone listened last podcast, we are not a Geo graphic podcast. You're never going to see us doing Geo guesser. Maybe, maybe that's what we'll do for our final segment. Let's get into our conference championship previews. We're down to our final four and Matt, which conference you want to start with? Let's do Western, man. Let's do Western. All right. Starting with the OKC Thunder, speaking of Shay, taking on the San Antonio Spurs, speaking of Victor Wiminyama. And this series, Matt, think we can agree this is the finals. This is the real finals. Whoever wins this is winning it all. ⁓ OKC is a perfect eight and ⁓ in the playoffs so far. However, the Spurs in the regular season were four and one against Oklahoma. Wimby, Wimminyama was also restricted to just only 25 minutes. It was coming back from a back injury. So now when Minyamba won't be restricted on minutes, could we see OKC actually struggle in this series? Maybe a little bit. Possibly. mean, OKC does have... I was thinking we're going to see a sweep in this one. No, OKC will have to their threes because maybe obviously it's going to be in the paint. then... There's problem. On the other side, Spurs are going have to hit their threes. Like Savon Castle did in last game. He usually, you know... Doesn't, but last game I think he had like five, which really helped them. But you know, they have Chet as well. He's no Wimminyama, but he is still a, you know, threat, defensive paint threat. Very good defender. Also a very off, very good offensive player as well. So that'd be a fun matchup. also saw that this series is the battle of Chris Paul's prodigies. So Chris Paul was both a mentor to Shay Gildes and Victor Wimminyama during his career. And now he gets to watch his two apprentices go at it in the Western Conference finals. I think this is going to be a series. I don't know. I like Wim Minyama. Also, if anyone doesn't know, Victor Wiminyama and Chet Holmgren have a weird beef that goes all the way back to their childhood. Wim Minyama didn't like all the praise that Chet got because they are both like tall, athletic freaks of nature. And so he's always just looked at Chet as a rival. Now Chet tries to act like this isn't a thing. ⁓ but women Yama absolutely lets it be known how much he despises Chet Holmgrid. So I'm going to be excited to watch that. Like we just talked about ant, you know, being friendly with the Spurs players. ⁓ women Yama and Chet will probably not be friendly in this series and there's probably going to be some aggressive, ⁓ hand fighting or just some words are going to be said, or they're going to be getting each other's faces a little bit. So maybe another elbow thrown, maybe another elbow thrown. This one probably will be more on purpose than the other one. ⁓ But just to look at what's going on, like what's at stake for these teams if they do make it to the finals and win. The Thunder would be the first back-to-back champs since the 2016 to 2018 Golden State Warriors. The Spurs, on the other hand, would be then, they would then win their sixth championship tied for the fourth most with the Chicago Bulls. And Victor Wimminyama, if he was to win finals MVP, he would be the youngest Spurs player to ever win the finals MVP. Which I think he beat Kawhi. I think Kawhi is right now the youngest Spurs final MVP. Overall, think Matt, did you say you liked in this series? No. Okay, who do you like in this series? I like the Sugito Game 7. This would be a great Game 7. Fantastic. I, as much as I hate saying this, think OKC just might edge him out. I mean, like if Wimby can... Maybe average like close to 30 a game, which he has that in him. And also the defensive factor as well. I think Spurs have a good chance, but they're just super young. Obviously Thunder were just there, although they're young as well. But the Thunder have that experiences under their belt, know, conference finals as well as the actual finals. So maybe they, you know, their experience takes over and they can beat the pressure and stuff. So. Yeah. And the Thunder are going to have home court advantage in this series. Obviously if they're the one seed, ⁓ I will be hoping that they at least. I, I, it's tough because I either think that the Thunder are going to absolutely just dominate this or if it does go to a game seven, I think the Spurs will then have the edge. ⁓ the Spurs are also, people have been saying they're way ahead of schedule. They've been playing good. However, you know, maybe they're not on ahead of schedule. Maybe they're right on time. I think that. to get to this part of the finals and get to the conference finals, get to the finals, like you kind of have to have some luck, some good health, and that's what they've got so far rocking with them. Now they do have a tough test with them with the Thunder, but as we saw in the regular season, it kind of seems like they have the answer to the Thunder and able to handle them. And Wim Benyama not even being on a minutes restriction, it actually seems like he's playing even better in this playoffs. Like what was it last series? He had like 12 blocks in a game. It was a record. Like he's elevated his game and that's what you kind of need in these playoffs. I liked the Spurs. picked them to beat the wolves. knew that the, I knew that the Thunder were going to handle the Lakers. I didn't know it was going to be a clean sweep. ⁓ but I think also women Yama, he's going to take that edge of it kind of seems like he gets pissed off very easily and seeing that Shea got so many first place votes for MVP and won MVP. think he's going to take that to heart. And I think he's going to end up trying to make a statement out of this series. So for that reason, I like the Spurs. Yeah. I don't think either of them had a. hard road to the, the Western Conference finals. were playing beat up teams. Spurs played the trailblazers, you know, for a series. ⁓ and then a beat up, you know, Minnesota team, a Thunder as well, beat up Thunder team or beat up Lakers team. So this will be, they're both fully healthy. This is going to be a series. Yeah. The, ⁓ the Thunder are getting back Jalen Williams or not, sorry, not Jalen. Yeah. Jaylen Williams. Yeah. Which one? There's two of them. Yeah. They call him Jaydub. They spell Jaylen differently, but the Jaylen Williams you're referring to is they call him Jaydub. And so I think also, yeah, we'll see. I like the Spurs, Matt. You like the Thunder. We can move on to the next series here, which is the Eastern Conference Championship. Speaking of the parody that we were just talking about, Matt, we got the New York Knicks taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers. I think this is a battle of the bigs. think it's going to be Jared Allen and Evan Mobley taking on Carl Anthony Towns. We just saw what Evan Mobley and Jared Allen did in the dominant game seven against the Detroit Pistons. Now we're going to see that against the Knicks and the Knicks, they've been doing good this playoffs, but it's only been if Kat has been effective. The Knicks do lead the regular season in this. They won two games to lost one of the Cleveland Cavaliers. And the Knicks are coming off Eight days of rest to start the series. Also, James Harden is in the conference finals for the first time since 2018 when he won his MVP with the Houston Rockets. What do you think about this series, Matt? I like the Knicks. The Cavs are here. I think they're in the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since LeBron James. ⁓ LeBron. First conference finals appearance since Baron, Baron. I just think the Knicks got it and they got Jayley Brunchen, one of the best playoff risers that we know. Obviously Kat, obviously OG as well. OG, I don't know, B. Is he healthy for the series? He should be. They're coming off eight days. Yeah, I guess by the time, yeah, it'd be eight days when the series starts on Tuesdays. Podcast comes out on Wednesday. So. Yeah. And he didn't play the final game. ⁓ I think if maybe if the series went to five. I think he probably would have been healthy. Well, he would have been probably good to go. Maybe it's not like a serious injury. So I think they were just hold them out just cause they were up three. ⁓ yeah. And I think we talked about it last podcast. The Knicks have just been rolling, especially the last series against the 76 years. was a clean sweep versus the calf team who just got done in a seven game series. This is going to be the straight up, at least for the first one or two games, it's going to be the It's going to be very clear of like rest versus rust. Like the Cavs just got done playing. They have like one off day and then they're going right back to it. The Knicks on the other hand, they've been kind of, you know, been able to get healthy. It's probably like the most rested they've ever been in a conference finals. And I think this is the final test for them. Like they, we talked about it. said, whoever wins out of the Pistons and Cavs probably is going to lose to the Knicks. The Knicks are just seem like the better team. At least on paper now. Not going to lie, dude. Donovan Mitchell kind of got me questioned a little bit. It dudes looking very effective. Evan Mobley looking like a really true, he was dominant in game seven. Jared Allen, other effective big, like these guys are real players. think like, honestly, like the Knicks would rather see the Pistons in this series. ⁓ but the Cavs are, I think you're going to put up a good fight. I don't think this is going to be a clean sweep either. I think this one goes, I think this is probably Nixon six. I mean, Donovan is going to have to be on his shit. ⁓ and he was in. was a game of six against the Bissons. think he had 39 in the second half. But, uh, I mean, he's had some stinkers. he's going to have to, he's going to have to perform. gotta imagine James Harden is going to win them at least one game. It's going to be like game one through four. James, you're going to have the James Harden game. You're to have the Jalen Brunson game. That's put series at one one. You're going to have the Jalen Brunson cat game. It's going to be two one. You'll have the cat game. You're going have an OG game as well. OG games. way he's been playing. That's four. And his defense. If Donovan Mitchell games, that'd be six. If we lost anyone there, we just put the series at four, two to the next. Yeah. I mean, there could be an Evan Mobley, Allen game. There's not going to be a Jared Mobley. There could be a Jared Evan game. Just a big game. Big game, dude. Tall guys only on the court. Game of bigs. I like that. I know. I guess neither of the benches are really that great. But it just seems like the Cavs have more superstars than the Pistons had. I guess quote unquote superstars. Um, so I think that makes the series, it's going to be good. And, uh, just real quick on like what's going with the, uh, the series, what's at stake here. So if the Knicks were to make it to the finals and win, it would break one of the longest championship droughts in NBA history. Uh, they won all the way back in 1973, 53 years ago. So Knicks fans are hungry. for a championship. Jaylen Brunson and Kat would probably be deemed some of the greatest New York Knicks of all time for breaking this streak. Think of all the greats that have come in the last 53 years and not been able to get it done. And then they would be able to get over the hump. I tell you what, whoever they end up having to play from the Western Conference, that's going to be a tough game and tough matchup for them. The Cavs on the other hand, as you've alluded to Matt, would step out of LeBron Shadow as a franchise. And probably this is James Harden's last chance at a ring. Unless LeBron comes to the Cavs next year, then he's got maybe a chance again. Unless Harden gets shredded to the Thunder. Yeah. He could pull a Kevin Durant. Yeah, just go and get his ring. Donovan Mitchell would silence a lot of critics, including Shaq, who I believe said to his face that he wasn't a good player. It was like in a TNT interview or something like that a couple of years ago. So he's just like, I don't think you can get it done. So that's a tough load. Moving on Matt. Do we want to take a break real quick and then come back for our final segment? Yeah. Gotcha. All right. That was our conference finals previews that's coming up and just some of the other NBA stuff going around also some NFL Next we're come back into our final segment, which Matt I believe what is it this week? It's a keep four cut six actually Keep four cut six. Okay another one for me. I've been doing pretty good on these We'll come back and do the keep keep four cut six All right, we're back for our final segment. Keep four, cut six. A little different take on our normal keep three, cut five. Matt, you have it this week for me. so I'll let you run with I just couldn't hold it to only eight. The normal keep three, cut five. I'd expand it a little bit. So the topic is NFL slash NBA player combos and it's by the city. Okay. So potentially a Dallas. NBA slash NFL player, Los Angeles. Oh, okay. it's not like two guys on the NFL team, two on an NBA. No, no, it could be one of each. Okay. First off the list will be Los Angeles. And I decided to do, I know they have a lot of different teams for NFL and NBA. went with Luca and Puka. Puka and Puka. Ooh, that's a good one. You know what? I'm going to keep that. Just off the name alone, not only do I like Luca, like he's one of my favorite basketball players, but I just like the name Luca and Puka. That's a combo. Yeah, it rhymed. liked it. Well, I mean, there's really no like parameters here. It's just, there's only one defensive player, but there's different, you know, NFL positions. Same with the NBA. It's just, know, who do you like better? I'm going to try and keep a list of my keeps that way. Cause we're doing more this time. Yeah. So next I got San Francisco. Went with Stefan Ward Elkery and Kershia McCaffrey. Hmm. Both kind of getting up there in age, Yeah, we're all like building around these guys. We're just like, what combo would you take? ⁓ I do like both these guys as well. And we are keeping four, cutting six. I'm going to cut this one. Third, we have Detroit, Michigan. We have Cade Cunningham and Jemera Gibbs. Uh, Cade and Gibbs. I'm also going to cut this one. Okay. I was debating on Gibbs or Ahlan Ra. St. Brown, would that alter your decision in any way? If it was Gibbs and Ahlan Ra, maybe. Okay. Fourth we got Cleveland. This one I switched up a little bit. went Miles Garrett and Donovan Mitchell. Man, I'm now I'm looking back at CMC and Curry. I should have kept those guys. Uh, I'm going to cut this one as well. Okay. Miles has an A &M guy and D.P.O.Y. Daffy Mitchell. It's, you know, good player. Next I got Minnesota. I got Ant, Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson. Ant and Jay Jeddas. I'm going to keep that one. I like both those guys. Both of them got some swagger. Two budding superstars. Next I got New York again. lot of teams to choose from. A lot of players as well. I went Bronson, Josh Allen. Ooh, I like this one as well. So what am I, so we're at, cut three so far and I've kept two. So we're only, we're only halfway done and I gotta make a big decision here. I like Josh Allen and I like Bronson. I'm trying to think of what else you could throw at me here. MBA wise. Some good ones. I'm going to, I'm going to cut this, ⁓ but I could look back and say this is what I should have kept. Well, next I got Houston. I got Katie and I got Nico Collins. ⁓ we're going to cut that one. Yeah, that's fair. ⁓ next I'll give you Philly, give you the young superstar Tyrese Maxey and the old superstar quote unquote, Jaquan Barkley. All right. So we're at one, two, three, four. There's only two more after this. I gotta keep two. Maxi's the local guy here to Dallas. He is. Saquon has led me to a fantasy football championship. Former offensive player of year. Former offensive player. I'm gonna keep those guys. Okay. Next, I'll give you Denver. Okay. Mr. Big Man. Mr. Horseman. Nikola Jokic. And I went Patrick's for 10 in the second year. I think that's probably their best player on that team. Probably the best cornerback in the NFL, former DPLY as well. I'm not going to lie. If this was, if this was Bo Nix, I'd have a real decision to make here. You don't care about events? Listen, man, office is what sells. keep choosing like the best player. But Bo Nix would have been the reason I kept this because I drafted him on all my fancy deep last year. ⁓ I'm going to cut this one. Risking it for the last one. Yes. Last one is Dallas Texas. Ooh, okay. Mr. Cooper flag and Mr. CD Lin. ⁓ okay. I'm definitely keeping that. Flag and CD. Flag and CD. I like that. Okay. I thought maybe there'd be a Dallas one coming there. So for anyone keeping track at home, I kept... Luca and Puka great name combo there. kept, ⁓ Anthony Edwards and Jay Jeddas. I kept Tyrese Maxey and Saquon Barkley and I kept Cooper Flagg and C.D. Lamb. I think that was great. I, the only one I could possibly see changing there would be Maxey and Saquon going back and getting Curry and CMC or Brunson and Allen. Yeah. I don't, I don't, I don't hate your decision. I kind of felt like a Dallas was coming eventually. Yeah. Cause I was like, this is an NBA thing. Matt can't leave off Cooper flag. Of course not. I did see you don't care about defense apparently. You're an offensive guy. Just know the defense guys were. I just, didn't know for the list if I should just go all offense or not, but I wanted to go Cleveland because I mean, they're in the playoffs and D a Y's Donovan Mitchell's a dog and Bob scared just one D P Y and then Denver got Jokic and then Was there a possibility that you could have done like Patrick Mahomes and SGA? I mean, they're not in the same state, but KC doesn't really have a basketball team. ⁓ no, buddy. Okay. That's why it was combos by the city. Okay. I was just asking. I didn't know if that was coming down the list. I didn't know if that was coming down the pipeline there. With that, we can get into closing out the show. Actually, you know what I want to mention real quick?
