- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magigadge ninety four nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Scott and Abbey Unfiltered,
- 0:07Speaker 2: And I do want to clear things up before we
- 0:10Speaker 2: dive into our conversations today.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Are you still self conscious about the yes? The title
- 0:15Speaker 3: I gave you yes?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Of all the things you've said, well, here's okay.
- 0:19Speaker 2: If you listen to yesterday's podcast, I mentioned how I
- 0:23Speaker 2: started watching again fifty Shades of Gray, and I only
- 0:27Speaker 2: started the movie for the first like five minutes, and
- 0:30Speaker 2: so I came on the podcast.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I was like, I really like his presence.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I like how he's like very he's like mysterious, and
- 0:36Speaker 2: he says things that.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Are Are you into Christian Gray?
- 0:40Speaker 1: No, but I was saying I was like taking notes,
- 0:42Speaker 1: and I watched more of it last night, and I
- 0:44Speaker 1: was like, oh, good lord. If you hear that, and
- 0:46Speaker 1: you hear.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I'm taking notes from fifty Shades of Gray, you're probably
- 0:50Speaker 2: thinking I'm going home and setting up like a playroom
- 0:52Speaker 2: with all the I saw that scene yesterday and I
- 0:55Speaker 2: was like, that was not what I was trying to
- 0:57Speaker 2: say on the podcast.
- 0:58Speaker 3: That's exactly what you were trying to say. We can't
- 1:00Speaker 3: backtrack now.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I think I forgot of what the rest of the
- 1:04Speaker 2: movie look like.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I was like, I was wondering why Scott was paying
- 1:08Speaker 3: so little for rent. I'm like, oh, he's saving money
- 1:10Speaker 3: for equipment.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Jesus.
- 1:13Speaker 2: When he opened the door and I saw like thirty
- 1:16Speaker 2: different kinds of whips and cuffs and different things to
- 1:20Speaker 2: hang from, I was like, if you don't know me,
- 1:23Speaker 2: and that was the first episode that you listened to
- 1:25Speaker 2: with the envisionment that you have of me might be
- 1:29Speaker 2: very different than the reality. That is not by what
- 1:32Speaker 2: I meant when I said I'm not Venilla, what.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Did you mean?
- 1:35Speaker 1: You know, I think I'm.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I'm explaining Scottie. What did you mean?
- 1:40Speaker 2: I was enjoying the way like there's a there's a
- 1:44Speaker 2: calmness to his presence.
- 1:46Speaker 3: You're focused more on Christian Gray and less about the
- 1:50Speaker 3: the whips and chains.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Correct. I wasn't saying that to say I'm about to
- 1:54Speaker 1: go to you know what is the place called here,
- 1:57Speaker 1: one of the little stores, to get a bunch of
- 1:59Speaker 1: new device. That was not what I was trying to say.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Well, the thing is, I.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Don't think there's anything wrong with it, and I'm not
- 2:05Speaker 1: saying it's off the cards. I'm saying. That was not
- 2:08Speaker 1: what I was saying.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I don't think you necessarily needed to go out and
- 2:11Speaker 3: get them, because I feel like you probably have a
- 2:12Speaker 3: box underneath your bed.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You don't need to worry about that. You don't need
- 2:15Speaker 1: to worry about any of that.
- 2:17Speaker 3: When I said to your lady, I'm like, I could
- 2:19Speaker 3: tell Scott's probably a low key freak. She didn't protest.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I know when we had that conversation yesterday, and after
- 2:25Speaker 2: realizing that, watching Fifty Shades of Gray, I was like, Wow,
- 2:28Speaker 2: there's a whole new version of me that I think
- 2:30Speaker 2: was starting to not what I was going for now,
- 2:33Speaker 2: not saying that it's off the table, but that was
- 2:36Speaker 2: not what I was saying.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Is happening to my life?
- 2:38Speaker 3: Whatever? So you turn on this movie with the thought
- 2:41Speaker 3: of I'm going to take notes on Christian Gray, Well,
- 2:44Speaker 3: just this. I'm trying to understand.
- 2:48Speaker 2: There is a way that he goes about his confidence
- 2:53Speaker 2: and his sternness and what he wants, and he goes
- 2:56Speaker 2: and gets it.
- 2:57Speaker 3: But why did you turn this movie on? I'm really
- 3:01Speaker 3: trying to get to the root of this.
- 3:02Speaker 1: That's what did you hear?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Like you're like, I'm gonna turn on fifty shades of
- 3:06Speaker 3: gray because I hear there's a really compelling protagony.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I think it's cool how he sets up very sexual scenes.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I think it's really cool on the way he goes
- 3:15Speaker 2: about setting up like a very romantic date of how
- 3:18Speaker 2: it's just completely just like we talk about the build up,
- 3:22Speaker 2: the tense, the tension that he allows to sit in
- 3:26Speaker 2: a room without being a stuff going to be like that.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Scott just admit you're a free you know, I'm not
- 3:35Speaker 1: saying I'm a freak.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I'm saying that I think there's a lot to learn
- 3:39Speaker 2: and there's a lot to explore.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I haven't finished the movie.
- 3:42Speaker 3: He's not romantic.
- 3:43Speaker 1: He's just rich.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Okay, any woman would be like, oh my god, a helicopter.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Okay, that's true.
- 3:50Speaker 2: But he did say something yesterday that I was like,
- 3:51Speaker 2: damn it, that was not the impression I was trying
- 3:53Speaker 2: to give because I am a romantic. But he literally
- 3:55Speaker 2: said and he's like, obviously it's not a spoiler, but
- 3:58Speaker 2: he's like, I don't make love.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, don't don't write that down, Scottie. You can uh,
- 4:07Speaker 3: you can skip over that one.
- 4:08Speaker 2: That was the line that I was like, oh good lord,
- 4:10Speaker 2: what did I say on the podcast? That was not
- 4:12Speaker 2: what I was going for. That is not the angle
- 4:15Speaker 2: that I was going for. This whole Christian Gray thing.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I'm not saying I'm trying to be Christian Gray. I'm
- 4:19Speaker 2: trying to say, like, I like the effort.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That he puts in. You know what, I'll finish the
- 4:24Speaker 1: film and let you know how women also like the effort.
- 4:26Speaker 3: But the thing is, what's so funny is such like
- 4:28Speaker 3: a guy point of view to be like, I'm gonna
- 4:31Speaker 3: turn on fifty ge Greg, so I wanna be Christian
- 4:33Speaker 3: Gray rich man with helicopter.
- 4:35Speaker 1: In sexy scenes and cool cars, Hey, cool.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Cars and stuff. Whereas what are like, have you watched
- 4:39Speaker 3: the other Bennett's Sister yet? Might I introduce you to
- 4:45Speaker 3: Pride and Prejudice? No where there's zero sex in it.
- 4:49Speaker 3: See I watched the sexiest scene yesterday on TikTok.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And it was rated G what okay?
- 4:56Speaker 2: Now again we have these discussions because this is open
- 5:00Speaker 2: my mind into like what our brains work so differently,
- 5:05Speaker 2: so differently?
- 5:06Speaker 1: What was the scene?
- 5:07Speaker 3: So it was all the guys listening and be like.
- 5:11Speaker 1: What the fuck this is where I deal with every day.
- 5:13Speaker 3: So I'm a big fan of historical fiction. And there's
- 5:16Speaker 3: a new there's a new show that's not out in
- 5:18Speaker 3: the US, so I've been watching clips of it on
- 5:20Speaker 3: TikTok or earnestly waiting for it to drop in the
- 5:23Speaker 3: US on May fifth. And there's a scene where Mary,
- 5:27Speaker 3: the protagonist, and then her love interest, mister Hayward, are
- 5:32Speaker 3: in a boat and he's wearing a billowing white T
- 5:35Speaker 3: shirt and he's just listening to her talk.
- 5:41Speaker 1: What the fuck what?
- 5:42Speaker 3: But he's just it's just like the most sensual thing,
- 5:44Speaker 3: like he just like he's just yearning for her. Was
- 5:47Speaker 3: so sexy?
- 5:48Speaker 1: How is that sexy?
- 5:49Speaker 3: I gotta find the clip. I'll show it to you.
- 5:51Speaker 3: You know what, maybe we should maybe this is what
- 5:53Speaker 3: we should do.
- 5:54Speaker 1: He just listens, He just listens to her.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Yes, and then he like reads some poetry.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Oh boy.
- 6:01Speaker 3: But she's like a little embarrassed because it's like a
- 6:03Speaker 3: it's a little bit more of a romantic poem that
- 6:07Speaker 3: she's used to. Because she's a little like she's a
- 6:09Speaker 3: little she might be on I think her character's suposed
- 6:11Speaker 3: to be on the spectrum. Like she's very like analytical
- 6:13Speaker 3: and very like to the point. And he's like, this
- 6:15Speaker 3: poetic reading guy, let me find it.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And he's just okay, See, this is where I think
- 6:19Speaker 2: a lot of relationships we just don't understand each other
- 6:22Speaker 2: and we don't dive in to understand like what each
- 6:25Speaker 2: other need. Because holy crap, I am I supposed to
- 6:28Speaker 2: be writing poetry?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Hang on, no, you no, don't do that.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Okay, Well, actually I was trying to a little bit.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Thank you, you were trying to write poetry. One of
- 6:35Speaker 1: the things that I want to get more into is poetry.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Okay, so what poem did you write?
- 6:41Speaker 1: I didn't write.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I write things on my Instagram every day
- 6:44Speaker 2: and it's kind of poetic. But what I've really started
- 6:46Speaker 2: to love about poetry is it's so descriptive and it
- 6:49Speaker 2: brings the picture to you.
- 6:51Speaker 3: What I love about words is that you read them.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I can't stand you. What I'm saying is it does again.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It goes that extra effort of like saying instead of
- 6:59Speaker 2: like I saw the sunset, it's I saw the sky
- 7:04Speaker 2: illuminate with colors.
- 7:08Speaker 3: What I love about words is that they describe things.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm learning.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I am going to find this clip whether it's the
- 7:15Speaker 3: last thing I do, because I remember thinking, Oh, I
- 7:17Speaker 3: think this is it. Oh boy, are you gonna put
- 7:18Speaker 3: it up to the microphone. I'm pretty sure this is it. No,
- 7:21Speaker 3: because I want you to watch it. I'm I'm eighty
- 7:23Speaker 3: percent sure this is it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I'm so confused because.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I remember watching this and thinking about our conversation yesterday
- 7:28Speaker 3: about how guys like could you shet degree whips in
- 7:31Speaker 3: six and all the undervie and anal beads. I remember
- 7:35Speaker 3: watching this and going, this is the sexiest thing I've ever.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Seen, Like it's rady g Okay, let me see it.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna pull it up.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Okay, let me see this video.
- 7:43Speaker 3: You can watch it and you can pull it up
- 7:44Speaker 3: to the to the mic.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Okay, let's see it's okay.
- 7:48Speaker 2: This is Tall reads his favorite poem a thousand times,
- 7:52Speaker 2: but only felt its true power with Mary. He is
- 7:56Speaker 2: so in love with her. This is the most ridiculous thing.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Okay, we get sued for.
- 8:03Speaker 1: This, by the way, Yeah, probably no, Yes, as long as.
- 8:07Speaker 3: It to the BBC.
- 8:07Speaker 1: BBC, we'll find out if we're not on the marrows,
- 8:12Speaker 1: because we got seed. He's gonna enjoy my yogat what
- 8:15Speaker 1: is he He's just laying there listening to her. They're
- 8:18Speaker 1: just playing, having a little picnic. That's cute.
- 8:21Speaker 3: No, that's that's the hang. I don't see the opening scene.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They can make we watch the ship. Oh, they're on
- 8:29Speaker 1: a boat.
- 8:31Speaker 4: That's some with their glasses.
- 8:35Speaker 1: That is my phone.
- 8:36Speaker 3: I am quite put up with. It does not easily
- 8:39Speaker 3: give up its secrets.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Would you read it to me? This is sexy, so sexy.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Oh well, ah.
- 8:58Speaker 2: He's literally just leaning back in the just looking at
- 9:01Speaker 2: her as she is reading a book.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Mm hmm. In hours of weariness, sensations sweet felt in
- 9:11Speaker 3: the blood and felt for longer heart and passing even
- 9:16Speaker 3: into my purer mind. Mm hmm, with tranquil restoration.
- 9:22Speaker 1: There's a soft smile on his feelings, to.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Have unremembered, unremembered pleasure.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Would you could you read on?
- 9:29Speaker 4: Now she's given him the book.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Last bit.
- 9:36Speaker 5: I will read on, But perhaps you could try not
- 9:38Speaker 5: to worry about not span.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Allow her to be less analytical, and letther just be pleasant.
- 9:55Speaker 5: I've learned to look on nature because in the hour
- 9:59Speaker 5: of thoughtless youth, but hearing oftentimes still sad music of humanity,
- 10:11Speaker 5: not harsh nor grating though, of ample power to chasing
- 10:14Speaker 5: and subdue. And I have felt presence that disturbs me
- 10:23Speaker 5: with the joy of elevated.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Spots over it? How long asquin not nearly long enough?
- 10:32Speaker 5: What do you think?
- 10:33Speaker 3: M Yes, mister Wordsworth is well, he's explaining our connection
- 10:43Speaker 3: to nature and to all of this, and how that
- 10:51Speaker 3: connection grows as we age.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Yes, I've read this poem a thousand times. Sitting here,
- 11:12Speaker 5: I finally feel it's true.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Powert wow, check checky.
- 11:24Speaker 3: That's okay, okay, So that's like I've seen enough. Scout's like,
- 11:27Speaker 3: I've gotta hide this raging hard on.
- 11:33Speaker 1: You know, we have different things. I get us going.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Apparently that's good.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Scott's like, I'm more confused than when I started.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I really am, but I do. Okay, here's my thought
- 11:42Speaker 1: as soon as I'm watching it.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I think there are things that become more enjoyable when
- 11:46Speaker 2: they're done with the right person that you would never
- 11:50Speaker 2: see yourself enjoying an other situation.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Like sex, not just sex, but even a Scott has
- 12:01Speaker 1: a corny side, very corny side.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I know it's I don't know that that's aside. I
- 12:05Speaker 3: think that's just who you are.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I think it is who I am.
- 12:07Speaker 2: But like, as I'm watching this dude read this poem,
- 12:10Speaker 2: I get it. I know where he's coming from when
- 12:12Speaker 2: he's looking at her and she's reading the poem and
- 12:14Speaker 2: he's so interested, I get it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: What you should understand about women's desire is that it's
- 12:19Speaker 3: just wanting to be seen as a person.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You know, Yes, I do get that.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I mean, it's I think a lot of guys get
- 12:27Speaker 2: Really we forget that just being present is such a
- 12:31Speaker 2: key part to obviously having a connection with someone because
- 12:35Speaker 2: just like y'all's mind is going a thousand miles an hour.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Ours is either going a thousand miles an hour, it's
- 12:40Speaker 1: going nowhere. It's just like in La la land.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, And so instead of sitting there and actually listening intently,
- 12:46Speaker 2: it's like off somewhere in a field and it's like
- 12:48Speaker 2: la da da da da, and it's like, are you
- 12:50Speaker 2: listening to me? It's like no, I wasn't. I missed
- 12:54Speaker 2: out on everything. But I think with the right person,
- 12:56Speaker 2: it's actually really enjoyable to listen to their interests and
- 13:00Speaker 2: see them do the thing that they're the most passionate about.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Like that was a quality that I knew I wanted
- 13:04Speaker 2: in a partner. Is I want someone that I'm passionate
- 13:07Speaker 2: about their passions and they're passionate about mine. Not necessarily
- 13:11Speaker 2: my passion, they're passionate about me being passionate about something.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Yeah, does that make sense?
- 13:15Speaker 3: It does.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So when you watch that clip, what does it make
- 13:17Speaker 1: you think?
- 13:18Speaker 5: Like?
- 13:18Speaker 1: What does that make you desire or want?
- 13:20Speaker 3: I think it's just the way he like I said,
- 13:22Speaker 3: I'm being facetious, but he literally is just like he
- 13:26Speaker 3: what's so beautiful about period dramas is that there's literally
- 13:30Speaker 3: no sex in them whatsoever, so they can't skip over
- 13:33Speaker 3: the things that make you truly appreciate someone as a person,
- 13:36Speaker 3: like you have to have so much character development, and
- 13:38Speaker 3: in this moment, he's just really taking her in as
- 13:40Speaker 3: a person, and I think that's what makes it sexy.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Like he's just like, so there you are with the
- 13:45Speaker 3: moaning again.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's me agreeing. Okay, my bad, my bad.
- 13:47Speaker 3: You gotta work on it.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I thought, okay, let me. I don't know another thing
- 13:50Speaker 2: to do, and said, we go there you go.
- 13:53Speaker 3: There's there's there's moaning, and then there's m.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I don't like that sounds like a puppy any but yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: he's just drinking her in.
- 14:02Speaker 3: He's just like, so he's so in drinking her in.
- 14:07Speaker 3: He's just so enraptured with just her existing. It's beautiful,
- 14:13Speaker 3: and he appreciates her for what other people UH discredit
- 14:18Speaker 3: her for. So she's the outcast in her family. She
- 14:22Speaker 3: is sent away to be a governess because her mom's like,
- 14:24Speaker 3: she's fucking ugly and she's ruining all my other people's prospects.
- 14:27Speaker 3: So she's got to go. So she goes off to
- 14:29Speaker 3: London and all these other people think she's interesting and creative,
- 14:33Speaker 3: and these men start falling for her, and she just
- 14:36Speaker 3: has no idea because her whole life she's just been
- 14:39Speaker 3: the most hated sister. And now here's this man just
- 14:43Speaker 3: looking at her, going, I think you're pretty rad. Mary Bennett,
- 14:47Speaker 3: like a pillar of humanity is just wanting someone to
- 14:49Speaker 3: see you for who you are. And someone sees all
- 14:52Speaker 3: of that and still is like, yeah, I'm on board.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Yeah you know what I mean.
- 14:55Speaker 3: I think that's what's really beautiful about that show.
- 14:57Speaker 2: One of the best lessons of relationships, friendships, or love
- 15:01Speaker 2: that I've learned, honestly way too late, was and I
- 15:05Speaker 2: mean obviously not too late, but way too late in
- 15:07Speaker 2: life so far. It was like a year ago and
- 15:09Speaker 2: somebody said the quote of like, you should just be
- 15:11Speaker 2: constantly curious about your partner, always looking for new things
- 15:16Speaker 2: within them, because as you grow and they change, you
- 15:20Speaker 2: still want to learn about that new version that they're becoming,
- 15:23Speaker 2: and you're always curious on who they are, what they're
- 15:25Speaker 2: going through, and who they're becoming in that timeline, because
- 15:27Speaker 2: I think a lot of relationships go into trouble when
- 15:29Speaker 2: it's you expect them to be the same person that
- 15:32Speaker 2: they are when you first meet them, and maybe you're five, ten, fifteen,
- 15:36Speaker 2: twenty years down the line and that person has evolved,
- 15:39Speaker 2: they've gone through new chapters of life, they've experienced new things.
- 15:43Speaker 1: They are not the same person.
- 15:44Speaker 2: But the partner that's continuously curious on who that person
- 15:48Speaker 2: is and excited to continue to learn from what I
- 15:52Speaker 2: have seen. Those are the partnerships that continue to thrive
- 15:56Speaker 2: and they're passionate. Because there's plenty of partners I think
- 15:59Speaker 2: that are together simply out of the fact that there's
- 16:01Speaker 2: always been together, they always will be together.
- 16:03Speaker 1: But then you see some of them and they're so passionate.
- 16:07Speaker 1: They're so excited to be together.
- 16:09Speaker 2: And we saw that on Saturday when we went out
- 16:11Speaker 2: to the festival over on Clearwater Beach.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Looked over and there's.
- 16:14Speaker 2: This couple that are probably in their seventies, just getting it,
- 16:19Speaker 2: having the time of their life.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Like he knew his person.
- 16:23Speaker 2: She was dancing flowy and all over the dance floor,
- 16:26Speaker 2: and he would go out there and join her for
- 16:28Speaker 2: a little but then he would sit back and his
- 16:30Speaker 2: attention wasn't elsewhere. It wasn't rolling his eyes or annoyed.
- 16:34Speaker 2: It was truly enlightened and engulfed by her presence. You
- 16:37Speaker 2: could see it on his face. He just looked at
- 16:39Speaker 2: her and just smiled and loved every bit about that person.
- 16:42Speaker 2: And I loved that. That was something I didn't realize,
- 16:45Speaker 2: especially as a younger version of a man, of you
- 16:48Speaker 2: should find the person that continues to excite you, but
- 16:51Speaker 2: also you should share that excitement with them.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah, don't make them feel ashamed for that excitement.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I think what's freaky about getting older is you realize
- 16:59Speaker 3: some people literally just choose people and then just get
- 17:01Speaker 3: married to them. I think I grew up with this
- 17:03Speaker 3: very Disneyland idea of what happens like when you got married.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Whereas I thought, oh, you get you get married when
- 17:09Speaker 3: you're really excited about someone, you want to spend the
- 17:11Speaker 3: rest of your life with them. I know so many
- 17:13Speaker 3: people who are literally just choosing people. Oh yeah, And
- 17:16Speaker 3: I don't mean that like a condescending way, no, but
- 17:19Speaker 3: because I'm sure there's some merit to it as well.
- 17:21Speaker 3: And you know, you can certainly criticize my dating patterns
- 17:23Speaker 3: for sure, but I'm like, so you're just like choosing someone.
- 17:27Speaker 3: You're just like you're just like just going with it,
- 17:30Speaker 3: you know what I mean. And I'm not saying that's
- 17:31Speaker 3: right or wrong. I'm just saying, oh, you're literally just
- 17:33Speaker 3: being like, yeah, let's get married.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think a lot of people feel the pressure of
- 17:37Speaker 2: the timeline. Where are you right now? You're like, I
- 17:40Speaker 2: see everybody on Instagram and Facebook, and it looks so
- 17:44Speaker 2: awesome to see like an engagement photo, and you're like,
- 17:47Speaker 2: I cannot wait, Like, truthfully, I'm so excited for that,
- 17:50Speaker 2: Like that sounds incredible to know that you have your
- 17:53Speaker 2: person and that's gonna be your freaking rock for life.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Hell yes, so I get it.
- 18:00Speaker 2: But there's also that side that's like, well, I want
- 18:02Speaker 2: to make sure obviously it's the right person. You're not
- 18:04Speaker 2: just going into it to impress everyone else online or
- 18:06Speaker 2: and I feel like you're checking a box. And I
- 18:09Speaker 2: do have friends that have done that too, where they're like, well, yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 2: the worst phrase is like yeah, that it's good.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like the obvious step to do.
- 18:18Speaker 5: You know.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I mean, we've been together for six years, but I
- 18:20Speaker 3: guess we'll just get married. What are we gonna do?
- 18:22Speaker 3: Break up? I guess yeah? Maybe.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I mean I would definitely consider that there's a whole
- 18:28Speaker 2: life to live and if that's person's not the right
- 18:31Speaker 2: person for you. And I've had different mentors and coaches
- 18:34Speaker 2: and previous relationships help me where they're like, it's actually
- 18:37Speaker 2: more than just you think about the other person. Yes,
- 18:41Speaker 2: you might not be that happy, but like, are you
- 18:43Speaker 2: okay with them sitting in a relationship where the partner
- 18:46Speaker 2: that they're with is truly not that happy or excited
- 18:49Speaker 2: to be with them?
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:50Speaker 1: That sucks.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I'd rather someone just tell me be straight up and
- 18:54Speaker 2: let me have someone that's truly excited to be with
- 18:56Speaker 2: me and vice versa.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Break up with you?
- 18:59Speaker 1: That's right?
- 19:00Speaker 3: Do I need to send that text with somebody.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Nope, perhaps, what the heck? No, do not send that text?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Hey, break up with him?
- 19:05Speaker 1: No, I'm excited for that.
- 19:06Speaker 3: He was not excited to be with you.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, like that's no comment on there. I think
- 19:11Speaker 1: there's plenty of signs there. Anyway. That's what I had.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I wanted to clear up the fifty shades thing, and
- 19:16Speaker 1: that we.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Went down that well, perfectcause there's something I need to
- 19:18Speaker 3: clear up with you that much more vapid.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Note.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I learned something from your lady over the weekend that
- 19:24Speaker 3: I didn't know, and I didn't realize you were never
- 19:26Speaker 3: going to fess up.
- 19:26Speaker 2: To Holy crap. Wait, let me see if I could
- 19:29Speaker 2: figure this out. What would she know that you don't
- 19:31Speaker 2: know that I haven't confessed to. Oh this is terrifle. Okay,
- 19:36Speaker 2: go ahead, a really big deal.
- 19:36Speaker 3: I feel like I feel like you have really put
- 19:39Speaker 3: on a facade.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Oh what is it?
- 19:43Speaker 3: You wear makeup?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Okay, why are you not going to tell me that
- 19:48Speaker 3: you wear makeup?
- 19:52Speaker 2: Okay, first off, it's not makeup. Second off, that was
- 19:58Speaker 2: first of all.
- 19:58Speaker 3: It is makeup?
- 20:00Speaker 1: All right, let me go ahead and just let's all right,
- 20:02Speaker 1: let's dive in.
- 20:03Speaker 3: So we're sitting at lunch over the weekend. We've just
- 20:06Speaker 3: done tub club on Sunday, and we're sitting there and
- 20:08Speaker 3: we're having tacos, and all of a sudden, his lady goes,
- 20:12Speaker 3: did you know he wears makeup?
- 20:14Speaker 1: I don't.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, So over the past couple months, what I
- 20:19Speaker 2: have tried to do is really just enhance the way
- 20:22Speaker 2: I take care of myself. I want to look better,
- 20:25Speaker 2: I want to feel younger, I want to be. Obviously,
- 20:28Speaker 2: a couple months ago, as I'll stepping into the dating world,
- 20:31Speaker 2: I wanted to be as.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Well simply as good looking as I possibly.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Kill about your looks, Maxinge, what the kids are saying,
- 20:41Speaker 3: so of your looks, Maxing.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So here's how it started. I changed up my haircut.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I started growing it out a little bit more, and
- 20:48Speaker 2: I wanted to do something different on top of.
- 20:50Speaker 3: The ladies love long hair. Well, although it looks not
- 20:52Speaker 3: to I don't mean this in a mean way. It
- 20:54Speaker 3: doesn't look different to me, like from the photos I've
- 20:57Speaker 3: seen from you in the past.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Like well used to be super short on the sides.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I used to get like a military haircut where it
- 21:02Speaker 2: was like one on the sides, which is like skin.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I would get a skin fade, which a lot of
- 21:06Speaker 2: dudes get, and then a little bit on top to
- 21:07Speaker 2: spike it up. And so right now it's not super long,
- 21:11Speaker 2: but it's a little more grippy on the sides and
- 21:13Speaker 2: on the back, and there's a little more texture on top.
- 21:16Speaker 1: That was number one. So that was taking me in
- 21:18Speaker 1: a new step. I heard, Okay, I see what you mean.
- 21:20Speaker 1: It is longer. Correct, you don't do the fade on
- 21:23Speaker 1: the side. I don't do the faith on the side.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't need it.
- 21:26Speaker 2: And the second thing I wanted to do is I
- 21:27Speaker 2: started growing out facial hair because luckily I have a
- 21:31Speaker 2: great friend that we go through chat CBT like every
- 21:35Speaker 2: day and we ask you questions on what are the
- 21:37Speaker 2: most desirable traits? Are the things that would make us
- 21:40Speaker 2: look as good as we possibly can. We've become obsessed.
- 21:43Speaker 3: And so it told you to grow your hair out
- 21:45Speaker 3: and grow a beard.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Well, it let me try new things.
- 21:48Speaker 2: So I started growing a little bit of facial hair
- 21:51Speaker 2: to give my face a little more shape, is.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Okay, So contour in the same way that a woman
- 21:57Speaker 3: would contour her face.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Correct and to give it a little more shadow. Yeah, contour.
- 22:02Speaker 3: I mean you're speaking to the girl who when she
- 22:05Speaker 3: wanted to contour her face, she just got surgery.
- 22:08Speaker 2: See, I mean I just started playing around with these things,
- 22:10Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, I was like, wait a second,
- 22:12Speaker 2: I actually do like this way that it looks now
- 22:16Speaker 2: the other week, well, I do. This is going to
- 22:19Speaker 2: be my excuse, So just let me lean on my
- 22:21Speaker 2: excuse for a second.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:23Speaker 2: So I do a TV segment every week called Florida
- 22:25Speaker 2: four Reel, and on that show, I have to do
- 22:28Speaker 2: a little powder on my head because my head gets shiny.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So I've already dabbled in the world of makeup. Now,
- 22:36Speaker 2: as I was going into a store, I was going
- 22:38Speaker 2: into like Alta because my car was getting fixed. I
- 22:39Speaker 2: just had a little bit of time on my hands.
- 22:41Speaker 2: So I was on the phone with my buddy and
- 22:43Speaker 2: he's like, oh, while you're in there, and he's a
- 22:45Speaker 2: big time like chatchyb tear looks up one of the
- 22:49Speaker 2: best things to do for your skin to look maxing.
- 22:52Speaker 2: He's like, check out some tinted moisturizer, some like eyebrow gell,
- 22:58Speaker 2: some tinted suns like these things will take your looks
- 23:02Speaker 2: to the next level. And honestly on the phone, I said, dude,
- 23:05Speaker 2: you think I'm going a point in my life right
- 23:07Speaker 2: now where I'm about to spend money on makeup, Like
- 23:09Speaker 2: I have a car. I just put one thousand dollars
- 23:11Speaker 2: in two like I don't have that.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I walked in. I was like, well, let me just
- 23:14Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 23:15Speaker 3: And walked into Sephora left two thousand dollars for well,
- 23:18Speaker 3: I don't even know what I bought. Well.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I went in there, and I was trying to be
- 23:21Speaker 1: innocent at first. I just asked the guy. I said, oh,
- 23:23Speaker 1: do you have any like tinted sunscreen?
- 23:24Speaker 2: Let me just see. Let me start there, points me
- 23:27Speaker 2: to one. It's called like Golden Eagle or something. I'm like,
- 23:29Speaker 2: that's cool. I don't really understand what it does. I
- 23:31Speaker 2: don't understand the point. I'm like, I'm not going to
- 23:33Speaker 2: do that today. So I go and I look at
- 23:34Speaker 2: the colones, which was my actual point, and then I'm like, well,
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm here, let me just ask another follow up question.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I go to almost side, do you have any tinted moisturizer?
- 23:44Speaker 2: I think that's more what I'm looking for, And he
- 23:46Speaker 2: gets all excited. His eyes kind of glow and he's like, yes,
- 23:49Speaker 2: actually follow me, and.
- 23:50Speaker 3: He's like, thank god, your skin looks crusty as hell.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Man, I'll tell you what. He grabbed this stuff. He
- 23:55Speaker 1: sat me down.
- 23:56Speaker 2: He said, you know what, here's what I'm gonna do.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I want to show you what it does. I said, okay,
- 24:01Speaker 2: this is interesting. He said, well, we're gonna have to
- 24:03Speaker 2: do a couple of things. We're gonna have to get
- 24:04Speaker 2: this stuff called a primer. So what the hell is
- 24:06Speaker 2: a primer?
- 24:07Speaker 3: You?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Well, he explained that as somebody that I have oily skin.
- 24:11Speaker 2: He's like, the primer is gonna help. When you put
- 24:13Speaker 2: this on, the oil is not going to come out
- 24:15Speaker 2: because you don't want to put this on your oily skin,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and then it's just gonna make it might as well.
- 24:20Speaker 2: He gave me the primer and then he put the
- 24:23Speaker 2: tinted moisturizer. He did the whole thing where he does
- 24:25Speaker 2: half of your face and he shows the mirror because
- 24:28Speaker 2: he even gets the setting spray out too, and he
- 24:31Speaker 2: does the half of the mirror and I'm.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Like, motherucker, it was so good.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Oh my god, the brand of moisturizer.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Oh, I have no idea I goop. I don't know.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Is it goop, supergoop, yes, supergoop? Yeah, yes, okay, I
- 24:46Speaker 3: think it's yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I don't know if that's the moisturizer though. I think
- 24:50Speaker 1: it's like Kate Harley or something like that. I don't know.
- 24:53Speaker 1: This is like I just bought what the guy gave
- 24:56Speaker 1: maybe whatever.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Well, he shows me the side by side, and it's
- 24:59Speaker 2: undeniably that much of a better difference. My face is smooth,
- 25:03Speaker 2: it has a glow to it.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I look.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So I'm like, all right, just do the whole thing.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Let me just see what it looks like the whole thing.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And I look at myself in the mirror. I'm like, gosh,
- 25:10Speaker 2: damn it, you know what, let me go for this.
- 25:13Speaker 3: So do you just wear it when you're on TV?
- 25:15Speaker 3: Or do you wear when you're out and about?
- 25:16Speaker 2: So right now, I'm just doing it. Okay, I'll give
- 25:19Speaker 2: you the flak. I don't care. You know what, you
- 25:20Speaker 2: can have an inside look into my brain. I was
- 25:22Speaker 2: doing it just for TV, and I was gonna do
- 25:24Speaker 2: it just to start there, to get practice with it.
- 25:28Speaker 2: And I've honestly only been hesitant to wear it in
- 25:30Speaker 2: other places, not because I'm ashamed to wear like I don't.
- 25:33Speaker 2: When I saw myself, I thought, holy crap, Yeah, that
- 25:36Speaker 2: looks good, Like I would wear this out and about
- 25:38Speaker 2: on a Friday night. I was only not wearing it
- 25:42Speaker 2: because I wasn't ready to tell my lady.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Well, no, I think that's fair, because I'll be honest
- 25:48Speaker 3: with you. My knee jerk reaction as a lady is
- 25:53Speaker 3: I'm not gonna say it because I don't want to
- 25:54Speaker 3: get called a certain word. Yeah, but I was like,
- 25:57Speaker 3: I don't know how I would feel if I was.
- 26:00Speaker 3: It's like mac and on a dude. And then I
- 26:01Speaker 3: pull back and I'm like, what's that on my face?
- 26:04Speaker 1: That's exactly what I was worried for.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like, and she goes to like kiss me on the cheek,
- 26:07Speaker 2: and she's like, wait a second, are you wearing It's
- 26:11Speaker 2: too early in our stages of like talking for me
- 26:15Speaker 2: to be able to like, I don't know. I'm trying
- 26:17Speaker 2: to be the most masculine I can, and right now
- 26:21Speaker 2: in society, wearing makeup is not necessarily a masculine attribute,
- 26:25Speaker 2: which I don't think there's anything.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Wrong now's there? We're literally just being judgmental a holes.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's like, that's ridiculous to say that you're
- 26:31Speaker 2: not as manly, like whatever, I'm not even gonna go
- 26:34Speaker 2: down that rabbit hole.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I just thought I looked really good.
- 26:36Speaker 2: But I haven't worn it out with her because I
- 26:38Speaker 2: was like, I don't want that to be something that's
- 26:40Speaker 2: possibly a turn off. I'm still very much like I'm
- 26:43Speaker 2: trying to make sure I'm like doing all the right things.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I'm not trying to give her any reason to be like, hmm,
- 26:49Speaker 2: I don't know. So I wasn't ready to reveal it,
- 26:52Speaker 2: and I don't know how the conversation got on, but
- 26:55Speaker 2: eventually it came up, and luckily they had a great
- 26:59Speaker 2: response on how they brought up how they have a
- 27:01Speaker 2: lot of friends that work in media that also I
- 27:04Speaker 2: have wearing makeup, so it was like no big deal
- 27:06Speaker 2: for her, And I was.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Like, who, you did find the right person, because the
- 27:10Speaker 3: only people that don't think it's weird as people who
- 27:12Speaker 3: work in media exactly, because it's so common. It's like, oh,
- 27:14Speaker 3: of course, if you're on camera, you have to wear makeups.
- 27:15Speaker 2: So I don't think it took away any of my
- 27:17Speaker 2: masculinity that she obviously sees me in. But I haven't
- 27:20Speaker 2: worn it around her, like the last time I wore
- 27:22Speaker 2: it was yesterday just for news or just for the
- 27:24Speaker 2: TV segment, because that's the right now the time that
- 27:28Speaker 2: But also if I wore it out, it would be
- 27:30Speaker 2: to it would be to look more attractive to other people.
- 27:36Speaker 2: But now the person I'm trying to look attracted to,
- 27:38Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, they probably find me more attractive with
- 27:40Speaker 2: it on, but they already find me attractive, so it's
- 27:43Speaker 2: not necessarily a need.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I would love to know her opinion. I want you
- 27:47Speaker 3: to wear makeup in front of her, and I want
- 27:50Speaker 3: her to give her honest speedbag. Does she like it
- 27:52Speaker 3: when you wear makeup?
- 27:53Speaker 1: I bet she would because my skin looks incredible.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Because it's not like it's like I'm going my.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Face isn't like I'm not like blush and liner and
- 28:03Speaker 1: all this.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, like I don't know all those things. It literally
- 28:06Speaker 2: just get like smooths out my skin, which obviously you
- 28:08Speaker 2: ladies know if you do this a lot.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So I'm kind of new to this whole game, so
- 28:12Speaker 1: I was kind of blown away.
- 28:14Speaker 2: But if I could give a little side tangent, I
- 28:16Speaker 2: did wear makeup in the past when I was like
- 28:18Speaker 2: a kid because I had horrible acfe, so like that
- 28:21Speaker 2: was my only experience with it. I would like steal
- 28:22Speaker 2: my moms in the morning, and I would like cover
- 28:24Speaker 2: my face in like a little bit of areas, and
- 28:27Speaker 2: I was just petrified that somebody was going to find out.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I was like, literally, like, for the love of God,
- 28:32Speaker 2: let this be even enough and smooth enough where nobody's
- 28:35Speaker 2: going to say, in the middle of fifth grade, I
- 28:38Speaker 2: think Scott has makeup on.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Did anybody find out?
- 28:40Speaker 2: No, nobody ever found out. I was just too scared
- 28:43Speaker 2: to even share with anybody. But then I never did
- 28:45Speaker 2: it again because I was like, as soon as my
- 28:47Speaker 2: skin started to like just act a little more normal,
- 28:49Speaker 2: I was like, never again. But now I'm like, holy crap,
- 28:52Speaker 2: now it looks really good. But it's not like a
- 28:53Speaker 2: whole it seems like it's a moisturizer.
- 28:56Speaker 3: It's just I love it because I think women go
- 28:57Speaker 3: through so much bullshit just to beach, because it's so competitive,
- 29:01Speaker 3: because there's so many beautiful women out there that it's
- 29:03Speaker 3: like you have to try so hard all the time,
- 29:05Speaker 3: and it's kind of nice. It's kind of refreshing that
- 29:07Speaker 3: a dude's doing something.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Well that's what we were trying to do. Like literally,
- 29:10Speaker 2: my roommate and I are like, what could we do
- 29:12Speaker 2: as men? And we're learning a lot to up our looks,
- 29:16Speaker 2: to up our game to also come to the table
- 29:19Speaker 2: equally with a woman who's putting in all this effort.
- 29:21Speaker 2: What and what you see, and I will say this
- 29:24Speaker 2: with my full chest, is like, what's so frustrating?
- 29:26Speaker 1: It has to be frustrating for a woman that's trying
- 29:28Speaker 1: to date a dude. Like, dudes put in so little effort.
- 29:31Speaker 1: They show up in some baggy ass shorts, some.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Torn up shoes, a backwards cap, you're telling me, and
- 29:37Speaker 2: it's like, that's the effort, whereas, oh my gosh, you know,
- 29:40Speaker 2: and I love how like women get so creative and
- 29:45Speaker 2: so expressive and also a lot of efforts put in
- 29:49Speaker 2: the outfits thought through.
- 29:51Speaker 1: What they put on their skin is thought through. How
- 29:52Speaker 1: they put their hair up, and what they do with
- 29:54Speaker 1: they just all thought through, and then you got some
- 29:56Speaker 1: sloppy ass dude. So that's what I was going for.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I was like, I want to make sure that she
- 30:00Speaker 2: looks beautiful, absolutely breathtaking.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Don't embarrass her.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I don't want to look like a freaking slob. I
- 30:08Speaker 2: want to look as good as I can for her,
- 30:11Speaker 2: but I didn't want to admit that I was wearing
- 30:12Speaker 2: anything on my skins.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So I didn't you. Yeah, well she knew that's going
- 30:17Speaker 1: to be the text I get later. It's gonna see
- 30:19Speaker 1: you know. It's been really nice seeing you.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but I can't. I can't get past the makeup
- 30:22Speaker 3: that I.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Already knew that I didn't want to date a Barbie doll.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I really want to know what she thinks about it.
- 30:26Speaker 3: I would be so fascinated because I'm like, I don't
- 30:28Speaker 3: know how I would react if I was going out
- 30:30Speaker 3: with the dude he's like, oh, yeah, by the way,
- 30:31Speaker 3: I've got foundation, which I know makes me an asshole.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Like I understand, Like, can I get that as a person,
- 30:37Speaker 3: I understand you should just be accepting of all things.
- 30:39Speaker 3: But for me, I'm like, yeah, it'd be really fucking weird.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Well that's why I think. Ah, because it's not like
- 30:44Speaker 2: it's powder and all that stuff. It's just like a
- 30:46Speaker 2: little sponge and I just like, dat my face like that,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, my skin's just smooth and
- 30:51Speaker 2: it looks great.
- 30:52Speaker 3: So do you want to hear what Chad Shobyt said
- 30:54Speaker 3: I should change about my looks.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Oh god, you gotta be careful.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I haven't read it yet.
- 30:59Speaker 2: All right, So you did that. You took a picture
- 31:01Speaker 2: of yourself and put it through.
- 31:02Speaker 3: No, I sent a photo from my Instagram. It's probably
- 31:04Speaker 3: one of my better photos. Okay, gohead because I want
- 31:06Speaker 3: to play it safe. So I said, what can I
- 31:08Speaker 3: do to improve my appearance? And it's just a photo
- 31:10Speaker 3: of me, and it said you already look good here
- 31:13Speaker 3: and dash. This is more about elevating versus fixing. So
- 31:17Speaker 3: I'm perfect. Oh yeah, I'll be honest in specific. So
- 31:21Speaker 3: it's actually he's like, anyway, get a pet and.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Paper be I wanted to get the nice stuff out
- 31:27Speaker 1: of the way first.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Okay, what's working? Keep this hair color and softness. The
- 31:32Speaker 3: dark blonde with the loose waves is very flattering on you.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Dress style feminine, fitted, slightly romantic. It's your lane, natural makeup.
- 31:39Speaker 3: It suits your features way more than heavy glamwood mm hm.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Overall vibe. You come off polished, but not try hard.
- 31:45Speaker 3: This is a big asset. And then he goes easy
- 31:48Speaker 3: upgrades that would noticeably elevate you. Oh boy, Number one
- 31:52Speaker 3: hair your biggest opportunity right now. It's pretty, but it's
- 31:55Speaker 3: a little safe.
- 31:57Speaker 1: What do you mean chat?
- 31:58Speaker 3: Try slight face for layers, which I already have, but
- 32:01Speaker 3: whatever to and a little bit more volume at the
- 32:04Speaker 3: crown or even a blowout look for his beechy waves
- 32:07Speaker 3: for nights out. I'm literally in beechy waves whatever.
- 32:10Speaker 1: That's why I can't always listen to it.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Number two eyebrows subtle but impactful. Your brows are good,
- 32:15Speaker 3: but they could be slightly lifted at the arch. I
- 32:18Speaker 3: gotta get a browlift now, a tiny bit fuller and defined.
- 32:22Speaker 3: This gives you a more structured, confident look without changing
- 32:25Speaker 3: your face, even though this is going to require surgery.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Number three a makeup tweak. You don't need more makeup,
- 32:32Speaker 3: but just targeted makeup at a slightly deeper lip color.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Add more blush or bronzer to add dimension. Optional a
- 32:38Speaker 3: soft brown liner or a mascara focus to define your eyes
- 32:41Speaker 3: more think same vibe, just ten more to find.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Number four you hunch back bit. Number four posture and posing.
- 32:51Speaker 3: This matters more than people think you look great, but
- 32:54Speaker 3: try slightly elongating your neck, relax the arm moore to
- 32:57Speaker 3: create a bit of space from your body gives you
- 33:00Speaker 3: the effortless model, off duty looking photos. Oh my god.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Number five styling direction lean harder into soft, feminine, slightly
- 33:09Speaker 3: European bus I think silk lace florals, which, by the way,
- 33:13Speaker 3: I'm wearing all of these things, and fitted.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Silhouettes thanks chat.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Avoid overly sporty, boxy, shapeless looks. You shine way more
- 33:21Speaker 3: and structured in feminine. But if you wanted one thing
- 33:24Speaker 3: to focus on, oh, just focus on your hair volume
- 33:27Speaker 3: and your face framulayers, which I already have. Oh my god,
- 33:30Speaker 3: you don't need a transformation. You're already in the pretty
- 33:33Speaker 3: and put together pretty gator category. Or think about pushing
- 33:36Speaker 3: this into effortlessly hot and polished. If you want, I
- 33:40Speaker 3: can map out a full glow up plan or tell
- 33:42Speaker 3: you which specific type you read us.
- 33:44Speaker 1: See, that's what we did. We did the full glow
- 33:46Speaker 1: up plan.
- 33:47Speaker 3: That's quae. Should I say yes, I'm already going to
- 33:49Speaker 3: botox today. Do we talk about that yet?
- 33:51Speaker 1: No? I don't think we did. So.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I've gotten botox ones, we've gotten disport ones, and it
- 33:55Speaker 3: or off in like two weeks. But I'm going to
- 33:58Speaker 3: an injector to get a to get some real, real stuff.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I had a crazy thought about this yesterday because I
- 34:04Speaker 2: was thinking about it because I did hear you say
- 34:05Speaker 2: you're going to get botox, and my first initial thought was, Abby,
- 34:10Speaker 2: you don't need botox.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Yeah, shut up, Well this.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Is why you don't need tentton moisturizer.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I know, thank you, but I really like it, so
- 34:16Speaker 1: you do well.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Then I went down this whole thought process and it
- 34:20Speaker 2: was like this kind of enlightening moment. I was like,
- 34:22Speaker 2: who the hell am I to tell somebody what they
- 34:25Speaker 2: do or do not need nobody. You're an adult and
- 34:28Speaker 2: you can make your own decisions on what you want
- 34:31Speaker 2: to do with your body.
- 34:33Speaker 1: So I had that moment yesterday. It was a weird thought.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I was alone and I was just.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Like, my face, my choice.
- 34:37Speaker 1: That's exactly right. You do what you want. But isn't
- 34:39Speaker 1: it true?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Though?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Once you start you got to continue.
- 34:41Speaker 3: You do, But I mean, I don't think you have
- 34:43Speaker 3: to upkeep it as much as the internet says. Like
- 34:45Speaker 3: the Internet says you have to go like three to
- 34:46Speaker 3: four months. For me, it sounds like I'm trying to
- 34:49Speaker 3: change my face. I want two things. The first is
- 34:52Speaker 3: that I do have really aggressive elevens, which are the
- 34:55Speaker 3: lines in between your eyebrows, and I can see them
- 34:58Speaker 3: in photos and I do find it distract So for me,
- 35:01Speaker 3: I just like I just want those gone.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That's valid.
- 35:03Speaker 3: The other thing is I do have a slightly masculine
- 35:09Speaker 3: shaped eyebrow, and you can lift them a little bit
- 35:12Speaker 3: with botox, just enough to where it's like, oh, she's
- 35:15Speaker 3: a girl, not she's angry. I think I have a
- 35:19Speaker 3: lot of like muscle tension in like my jaw and
- 35:22Speaker 3: my forehead that I think the botox will probably release.
- 35:25Speaker 3: It will probably make me less of a bitch because
- 35:27Speaker 3: I won't be so tense all the time. So there's
- 35:29Speaker 3: like some things you can do just to kind of
- 35:31Speaker 3: sculpt your face a little bit more, take some of
- 35:33Speaker 3: the tension out of your forehead, all the things.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I mean, guys are doing it now too with brotox,
- 35:38Speaker 2: but I can't say I would never. But as of
- 35:41Speaker 2: right now, I cannot see myself doing that.
- 35:43Speaker 3: I don't know what you do, You have anything you
- 35:45Speaker 3: want to fix with?
- 35:46Speaker 1: No, I just know botox. It does for your forehead,
- 35:48Speaker 1: like I got, I got. I said this at the
- 35:50Speaker 1: tub Club. I could look like a Sharpei when I
- 35:52Speaker 1: raise my eyebrows, like the dogs that have those wrinkles don't.
- 35:56Speaker 3: But also, okay, so your face moves like a normal person.
- 36:00Speaker 3: The thing is is what's really shitty about men and
- 36:02Speaker 3: women aging is I feel like when men age, it's
- 36:06Speaker 3: seen as really attractive, but when women age, it is
- 36:09Speaker 3: not taken as that. And I'm not even saying I
- 36:12Speaker 3: think that's wrong, like people need to change their opinions.
- 36:14Speaker 3: But it is funny that when I see a man
- 36:16Speaker 3: with wrinkles, I do know, oh my god, he's a hag.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but I do think when women have a smoother complexion,
- 36:21Speaker 3: I do think it looks better.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I think they get more praise too. So you go
- 36:25Speaker 2: out and about and everyone's.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Like, wow, she's so beauty, and it's like that's the
- 36:28Speaker 1: thing that's like it takes a lot of effort. And
- 36:30Speaker 1: that's what I'm learning is I want to be aging
- 36:33Speaker 1: as good as I can.
- 36:35Speaker 2: It takes a lot of freaking effort. And these are
- 36:37Speaker 2: the things that like women have understood for so long
- 36:39Speaker 2: and men.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Are over here like I'm just gonna, you know, wrinkle
- 36:43Speaker 1: it up.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I'm just here get crusty, get a little tubby and
- 36:46Speaker 2: call it a day.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but I love that you're not that way, because
- 36:48Speaker 3: I do think it's frustrating to a lot of women
- 36:51Speaker 3: that we do so much and it's just kind of like, no,
- 36:54Speaker 3: does the other side not care at all?
- 36:56Speaker 2: I think we just don't know. Again, like, what the
- 36:59Speaker 2: I'm twenty nine. I just learned about this tinted moisturizer thing.
- 37:02Speaker 2: That's insane. I'm twenty nine. I just learned how to
- 37:05Speaker 2: finally cut my hair.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Yeah, this is insane.
- 37:08Speaker 1: That's insane to me. And we joke.
- 37:10Speaker 2: My best friend and I were like, look at photos
- 37:12Speaker 2: from my birthday just last year in October, that picture
- 37:16Speaker 2: versus how and.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Again I'm not thinking. I'm like, really just the hot shit.
- 37:20Speaker 2: But that picture compared to where I look now, I'm like,
- 37:23Speaker 2: holy crap. Because then I thought I was like this
- 37:26Speaker 2: is the best I could look. Yeah, and I look
- 37:28Speaker 2: at that photo and I'm like, oh my god, that's ah.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I know. I enjoy leveling up as I get older
- 37:34Speaker 3: because they think it makes aging less scary, because I
- 37:37Speaker 3: wouldn't want to. I don't want to go back two years,
- 37:41Speaker 3: three years, four years. I'm like, I like this version of.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Me, yes, and nobody teaches us that.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I think people, I think women have the unfair thought
- 37:50Speaker 2: of it, like where it's like it's just expected you
- 37:52Speaker 2: have to do it all. You have to be put
- 37:54Speaker 2: together at any opportunity, Like my mom used to get
- 37:56Speaker 2: dressed and put together to go to the grocery store.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Like so I've always seen that, But then the dudes
- 38:01Speaker 2: was the other way, Like I'll say, like like my dad,
- 38:05Speaker 2: my brother, and I like those two could not care
- 38:07Speaker 2: any less. I'm like, guys, could you put on jeans
- 38:09Speaker 2: We're going to dinner, like for the love of God, like.
- 38:12Speaker 3: And someone will still love them.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Absolutely and they look fine and that's their life and
- 38:16Speaker 1: they could wear what they want. But as I'm finally learning,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, there are little things we
- 38:21Speaker 1: could do, from the way a shirt fits, to a
- 38:24Speaker 1: type of clothing to a color will change the entire
- 38:28Speaker 1: element of the game.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I know, I can't wait to get a boyfriend because
- 38:30Speaker 3: I just want to dress them up like a Kendle.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'll see, that's see, that's that's what I don't want.
- 38:34Speaker 1: But I also understand that you don't want your lady
- 38:37Speaker 1: to dress you well wait a second.
- 38:41Speaker 3: I want her to own me. You know, you wouldn't
- 38:45Speaker 3: find that fun to have her.
- 38:46Speaker 2: I would find it fun. I would have it a
- 38:48Speaker 2: lot of fun with it. I wouldn't want her to
- 38:49Speaker 2: feel like it's an obligation where it's like, yeah, oh
- 38:52Speaker 2: my god, you don't know how to put yourself together. No, no,
- 38:55Speaker 2: not like that. More of like, here's here's what you
- 38:58Speaker 2: can do.
- 38:58Speaker 3: That women like.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 38:59Speaker 2: What I want to do is I want to make
- 39:00Speaker 2: sure that it's like it's in alignment with what she likes.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Like we've talked about this whole Colonne idea where it's
- 39:05Speaker 2: like I want to go and have her pick out
- 39:07Speaker 2: a fragrance that she actually likes.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Oh, that is very sexy. Did you explain that to
- 39:10Speaker 3: the people yet, that you're gonna do this as a date?
- 39:12Speaker 2: No?
- 39:13Speaker 1: Not yet.
- 39:13Speaker 3: So he got a gift card to Macy's. Like my
- 39:16Speaker 3: first week here, I got a Kiky's Breakfast Cafe gift card,
- 39:19Speaker 3: and Scott wanted the cologne from Macy's. And so you've
- 39:24Speaker 3: been hanging on to it. You never got your signature, Colone.
- 39:26Speaker 3: But he wants to take this is a great date idea.
- 39:28Speaker 3: He wants to take his lady. Although if you guys
- 39:30Speaker 3: break up, then I don't know what you're gonna do.
- 39:32Speaker 3: He wants to take his lady to Macy's and have
- 39:34Speaker 3: her pick out a fragrance for him.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because if I'm trying to make sure that
- 39:38Speaker 2: she's attracted and like when she smells it, it's like,
- 39:42Speaker 2: that's what I'm going for. I don't want to just
- 39:43Speaker 2: because I was in the store and I was looking,
- 39:44Speaker 2: I was like, what the hell am I gonna pick
- 39:45Speaker 2: one that she's not even into?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Like, that's stupid. The whole point is to have you
- 39:49Speaker 1: be the one that likes it.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that shays a lot about your character
- 39:52Speaker 3: that you even thought that that would be a fun
- 39:54Speaker 3: idea for her.
- 39:54Speaker 2: See that's the leveling up side of this. Instead of
- 39:57Speaker 2: just rushing in and forcing it and make it to the.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Axe body spray section, cool spearmit or manly breeze.
- 40:07Speaker 1: I used to do the chocolate axe, the chocolate axe spray.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It was a mess.
- 40:11Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Again, no one helps you as a teen. No, we're
- 40:14Speaker 2: just told the spray and maybe put on deodorant. Maybe No,
- 40:18Speaker 2: you have to put on deodorant. So that's gonna be
- 40:20Speaker 2: one of the dates. I don't know how that's gonna go,
- 40:21Speaker 2: but I would like to see, like if there's a
- 40:24Speaker 2: because you don't see what other people find attractive. So
- 40:26Speaker 2: it's like if there's a clothing that she sees that
- 40:28Speaker 2: she's like, yes, that would look really good.
- 40:30Speaker 3: That's what I mean by the Kendall thing, Like do
- 40:31Speaker 3: you know what a Henley is?
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yes? I think is that the shirt with like a
- 40:34Speaker 1: little crease in the middle, like the V cut. Nope, okay,
- 40:39Speaker 1: not no, but not yes. I think I do.
- 40:41Speaker 2: But it's not like you say clothing items that like
- 40:45Speaker 2: I have no idea about here.
- 40:46Speaker 3: I really have no room to talk. I'm gonna dress
- 40:48Speaker 3: up my boyfriend like mister Darcy in full regency regalia.
- 40:52Speaker 1: You're like, wear this and say this and smell like this.
- 40:54Speaker 3: I'm like, just gonna put him in breeches, but he can't.
- 40:57Speaker 1: You can dress them up, but he can't wear a
- 40:58Speaker 1: tinted moisturizer. Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, it'd be so feminine if
- 41:02Speaker 3: you were some moisturize. I'm like, meybere, I'll put on
- 41:05Speaker 3: your put on your huge your your little shoes.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I think if we're going out.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I think that's what I won't wear it every day,
- 41:12Speaker 2: but if we're going out and we want to look
- 41:14Speaker 2: really good, I'll probably do it.
- 41:15Speaker 3: That's your challenge this week. I want you to wear
- 41:17Speaker 3: the makeup in front of your lady. Oh no, and
- 41:19Speaker 3: I want you to get her opinion on it.
- 41:21Speaker 1: I can't why too soon?
- 41:23Speaker 3: She really likes you. I don't think you can fuck
- 41:25Speaker 3: this up.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I don't think I I don't want to. It's by
- 41:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 41:31Speaker 2: I don't think I will. But I'm also I think
- 41:33Speaker 2: it's also too soon to say. Are all things open?
- 41:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I don't want to go backwards. I'm only trying to
- 41:42Speaker 1: go forward.
- 41:43Speaker 3: I don't know what you're trying to say.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I'm nervous. It's fun. It's fun being nervous. I'm trying
- 41:47Speaker 2: to impress.
- 41:48Speaker 3: He's nervous. He's got a golf with you, ask her
- 41:51Speaker 3: to be your girlfriend?
- 41:52Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 41:53Speaker 3: I okay, before or after she's raised you with ax
- 41:56Speaker 3: with at anyway, when your social med at the Scott Tablin, I.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Feel so hot, infustered.
- 42:05Speaker 2: We went on TV yesterday and we brought Abby on
- 42:08Speaker 2: and Abby says.
- 42:10Speaker 3: I can't wait to get drinks with her.
- 42:11Speaker 1: By the way, Amari, Yeah, well, Abby's like, yeah, Scott
- 42:15Speaker 1: has an entire roster. Oh yeah, an entire roster of ladies.
- 42:20Speaker 3: When is that episode gonna air? So Scott's on a
- 42:22Speaker 3: show called Florida for Real on Fox thirteen. When is
- 42:25Speaker 3: that gonna air?
- 42:26Speaker 2: It's gonna air if this release? What day is this
- 42:28Speaker 2: gonna release?
- 42:29Speaker 1: Wednesday?
- 42:30Speaker 3: So they had me on it's airing Wednesday.
- 42:32Speaker 1: So it should be out Thursday. So Thursday is what

- 43:15Speaker 2: up in here. You will see it then?
- 43:18Speaker 3: Am I gonna notice it? Do you think?
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yes?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Okay, I think you will because of my roommate notices.
- 43:22Speaker 2: He's like, you're wearing it, aren't you. I'm like, yeah,
