Speaker 1: Welcome to today's episode.
• 0:02
Speaker 1: So I recorded a Instagram story on the weekend just kind of laughing at the craziness of what's going on at the moment, and quite a few people messaged me and said they needed to hear that message.
• 0:15
Speaker 1: So I thought I'd record a podcast and tell you the whole story.
• 0:19
Speaker 1: We have been looking for a new home to rent a bit closer to the beach, closer to my daughter's friends, in a place called Lenox Head.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: So we've been living in Byron Hinterland, which has been beautiful, for the last three years, in a beautiful tree house with a wraparound balcony and views of green rolling hills.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: But it rains a lot in the hills, something I didn't kind of think of when I moved here, so it's always damp and you always think it's a horrible day, and then you drive down to the beach and it's perfectly sunny and stunning.
• 0:56
Speaker 1: So I'm ready to be in that sunny weather and swimming in the ocean more so.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Anyway, last week we were going to look at some houses, and one of the houses was one that came up in December and I knew it didn't feel right, but I went into my daughter's room it was school holidays and I said look, let's go look at this house.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: She goes mom, have a look at my Pinterest board.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: Like, this is the house that we're manifesting.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: And we have these photos also on the vision board on the fruit and my personal vision board and I was like, oh, you know what A house exactly like that has just come available for rent.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: But it's way over our budget.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: But let's go and have a look at it anyway.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: But let's go and have a look at it anyway.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: So we went and had a look and the timing was perfect.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: It was like 15 minutes after us looking at another house and it was available the exact time that our lease was up in our hinterland home.
• 1:59
Speaker 1: So we went and looked and we walked in and my daughter's like, mum, if we lived in this abundant, amazing space, you would be receiving more anyway and we would just feel so good and that would just mean everything.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: And I was like you know what?
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: You are right.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: So we put in an application.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: I did ask for a little bit less on the rent because I do think it was quite overpriced A lot of that's happening around this area and they met us halfway and they accepted our application.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: How amazing, what a dream come true.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: But then the terror barrier happened, and this has happened to me multiple times.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: It happened to me when I was going to Antarctica.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: You know, I wanted to go for three months and then two weeks before they invited me to come at a very nice price, but it was two weeks before Christmas and literally the night before I was going.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: Who am I to do this?
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: I shouldn't be going.
• 3:07
Speaker 1: This is, so you know, irresponsible.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Anyway, I went and it was all good, but every time I manifest something massive.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: This happens and it reminds me of Bob Proctor's work where he talks about the terror barrier.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: So so we are in a, we live in a certain vibration or frequency and everything meets us at the frequency or vibration that we are at.
• 3:36
Speaker 1: It's also important to be in a really good vibration and frequency when you are meeting someone that you might want to have a relationship with, but I will save that to another podcast episode because I've got a really good example of this, anyway.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: So then we have a vision or a manifestation or something that we want to create in our life, and then it comes.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: You know you can attract anything you want if you are ready and open to receiving it.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: So it comes and that is in a new vibration and frequency and what it does is it takes you time to shift, but in between where you're at now and this new vibration and frequency is kind of like the messy middle.
• 4:26
Speaker 1: It feels really uncomfortable because you're growing and your ego and your mind gets in the way and tries to sabotage it.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: So how this can show up is you start to question.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: So for me I was like can I really afford this?
• 4:48
Speaker 1: Is it good enough?
• 4:48
Speaker 1: Should we get something smaller that's in our budget?
• 4:52
Speaker 1: Maybe I can get that other house that has a extra studio on it that we can rent out.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: So all these indecisions and questioning comes up.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: That's my focus keeper timer.
• 5:05
Speaker 1: And then we start to doubt ourselves.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: So doubt starts to creep in.
• 5:11
Speaker 1: And what happens when indecision and doubt come together?
• 5:15
Speaker 1: They create fear, and then that can just really overtake us and disable us, which is what happened to me over the weekend as well, where I just freak out so much that I actually can't even do anything, even making myself a piece of toast or something.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: So because I get so caught up in my head and forget to actually trust that we are being supported by the universe like we asked for it, and we just need to find ourselves to be safe to step in and to receive it.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: So the terror barrier came up big time for me.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: Another thing that happened this month my camera broke on a photo shoot in Melbourne and luckily I had my backup camera which I always do because you just never know when these things are going to go wrong but I sent it away and they said, look, you actually just need to get a new camera.
• 6:18
Speaker 1: So that was, yeah, a big, a big thing that happened.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: And then also, when they said that we got the house, they needed two weeks rent plus four weeks for bond, so that's nearly ten thousand dollars plus another ten thousand dollars for a new camera and new lenses and that kind of thing.
• 6:36
Speaker 1: So there was a lot happening.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: I called my psychic mentor to get a little bit of advice and she said ask for three signs from the universe.
• 6:53
Speaker 1: When you get off this phone, say out loud, give me three signs.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: So the funny thing is we were looking after some of my friend's little kids and my daughter and her friend took the kids down for a bike ride and they went to the op shop and my daughter calls me and she goes mom, you need to come down.
• 7:15
Speaker 1: One of the kids has bought something at the op shop but we can't carry it back.
• 7:19
Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, what have you bought?
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: It's a Barbie dream house.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: And I was like you have to be kidding me, don't you Like?
• 7:29
Speaker 1: If you could ask for a sign, like what a sign a dream house.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: That had been received.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: So anyway, that was the first sign I got.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: And then I checked my emails and saw that an email came in at 3 33 as a reminder to accept the offer for this house.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: When I looked up at 3 33, the spiritual meaning of that is you're being supported, trusting yourself.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: And then the third sign was the next day I was dropping my daughter at a friend's house and as I left, a black cat ran across the front of the car out of nowhere, like you cannot make this stuff up.
• 8:12
Speaker 1: I checked in what that means again because I always thought it was bad luck.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: But apparently if it runs from right to left, good luck is coming and if it runs left to right, bad luck.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: So I am taking these as a sign.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: Then, when I was actually working on the budgeting with my partner on my laptop or looking, I used Notion to keep on my finances and my budgeting and everything, and it all looked fine.
• 8:45
Speaker 1: I went away, then came back and I was going to start recording more content for the GoTo Academy and my computer didn't open or turn on and I was like like what the hell?
• 8:57
Speaker 1: So it was kind of a laughing moment, but also a little bit freaking out.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: Going right, so my camera, I need a new camera.
• 9:06
Speaker 1: We're moving into a new home and my laptop just stopped.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: So I took it to the Apple store.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: They said sorry, it's gone, it's over, so you will need to get a new laptop.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: By this time all I could do was laugh, thinking okay, so I don't have a camera, I don't have a computer to work, and we're moving into this new home, which feels really big and scary.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: And I just sat in it for a moment and was thinking this is just an overhaul, massive energetic upgrade.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: And the universe asking are you ready to actually step into this and own this?
• 9:47
Speaker 1: Because you're not going to carry all your old stuff into this next chapter in your life.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: So I'm kind of visualizing it as being pressured like a piece of coal to turn into a diamond.
• 10:01
Speaker 1: So, instead of focusing on all the heavy stuff.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: I've been focusing on waking up in this new beautiful home what that's going to feel like because it's so open and just has such an energetic high vibration as well.
• 10:19
Speaker 1: Doing shoots with my new camera, because my old camera is quite old actually and having a beautiful new laptop.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: My laptop was getting quite heavy and so not that it put on weight or anything, but carrying a 16 inch MacBook Pro was quite heavy, so I'm going for a smaller but more powerful computer and how having all these really high quality, high tech tools, high vibrational environment will make me feel and so bringing that into my physical being and starting to feel my energy shift and focusing on the great things I can create from that space to really own it and sit in it.
• 11:03
Speaker 1: The steps I've been taking to really go okay, I've got this, I'm open and ready to receive is to actually start taking action.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: So then yesterday I started putting all the things that are no longer aligned with this new house and the vision and the style of it on Facebook marketplace, so literally selling most of our furniture so we can upgrade and get some beautiful new things.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: It's quite a minimalist space, so we actually won't need much, and beautiful big walk-in wardrobe with drawers and everything, so there's a lot I can sell there.
• 11:42
Speaker 1: It's been really nice just seeing that money rolling in, releasing all those old things and opening myself up to this next chapter.
• 11:53
Speaker 1: So I'm going to leave it here with you and maybe question where are you being invited to really step up, lean in, take that leap that you've been wanting to do and open yourself up to receiving it?
• 12:11
Speaker 1: Invitations are on your vision board that are coming into your fruition.
• 12:20
Speaker 1: That might be scaring you a little bit, because if you don't do it now, when are you going to do it?
• 12:24
Speaker 1: And if they do come up and this is something I've been reminding myself if I said no, I would be telling the universe that I'm not ready to do this.
• 12:33
Speaker 1: And you know when are you ever ready?
• 12:37
Speaker 1: How do you know?
• 12:38
Speaker 1: Anyway, I do run a vision board workshop once or twice a year, so if you are interested in coming and learning the techniques that I do do to manifest these big things in life, sign up to my newsletter or come and send me a dm on instagram or tell me if you've been through something like this as well.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: I would love to hear.
