Transcript
- 0:01Hello everyone, and welcome to Honey Badger Radio. My name is Brian with
- 0:05Allison, and this is Maintaining Frame number sixty four. I didn't know what
- 0:09else to classified under. We're kind of squeezing in a show before the news
- 0:14show. Yeah, it's Bud maintaining frame. Looking at the situation for men.
- 0:20Yeah, we're always basically fighting against that narrative that men are somehow privileged
- 0:25by society, by society that expects them to constantly sacrifice. Yeah, for
- 0:32the benefit of not men, Well, maybe not constantly. I don't know,
- 0:38Like sometimes men aren't expected to sacrifice as much. We're not in a
- 0:42depression or a world war. So I guess the sacrifice oscillates from literal physical
- 0:49sacrifice to just psychological sacrifice of their identity to make women feel better about themselves.
- 0:56So yeah, but it does seem to be a continuous thread of sacrifice
- 1:00and seeing men solely in terms of their utility to others. I don't know.
- 1:06I know, I can hear a whole bunch of rad firms screeching at
- 1:08me right now. I have I have spent maybe too much time in the
- 1:12rad fem area of Twitter. Holy crap. But it's interesting because they no
- 1:19longer have their their live fem protectors because they're at war with each other over
- 1:27the turf issue, the trans exclusionary radical feminist issue. So it's it's interesting
- 1:34because now the only feminists that argue with me are the radical like the radicals,
- 1:38lesbian separatists, or just the separatists. And they definitely reveal a lot,
- 1:46a lot more than they can seal. Let me tell you. All
- 1:49right, Okay, so um, we're looking at this article. It's a
- 1:55medium blog, I guess right, Yeah, it's a medium blog. Uh,
- 2:00well, it's based on our actual study. Yeah, it says it
- 2:02is a medium blog talking about a study, yes, by Caroline Becca Beckia
- 2:07and it's entitled a researcher Study the Most Common Last Words of Suicidal Men,
- 2:15bringing you the cherry topics, Yeah, Badger radio. And it says a
- 2:20lot about how we indoctrinate men as providers okay, yes, as providers of
- 2:28everything like I And that's sort of where my screed was going on, like
- 2:32we we indoctrinate men to sacrifice themselves for other people, and then we turn
- 2:38around and we say we don't do we gaslight men about this? We gaslight
- 2:43them. They're like, we indoctrinate them to sacrifice themselves for others, and
- 2:46then we gaslight them about being part of the society and creating a society that
- 2:52actually makes women sacrifice for men. M that's what really gets me. It's
- 2:59it's it's just so mendacious. Um. But anyway, I want to remind
- 3:05you, I remind people of the people of the things. Okay, So
- 3:08we are technically finishing off our fundraiser for the month, so please if you
- 3:13are able to go to Feed the Badger dot com slash support. We did
- 3:16get some significant support through super Chow, so I don't know what he wants
- 3:22us to apply it to. Maybe Richard keep k will give us heads up.
- 3:28But um, I do want to finish out the fundraiser because if we
- 3:32get anything over, we'll just put it towards next month, or you put
- 3:37it into the kitty or pay off the loan that I took to keep Honey
- 3:42Badger Radio float during COVID. Um. Anyway, that's Feed the Badger dot
- 3:47Com slash support. It's every every bit is appreciated. So five dollars,
- 3:52ten dollars. Don't think that whatever you can contribute is not not appreciated because
- 3:58it all is. And um uh, I'll try to do some arm twisting.
- 4:03I don't know if I have the heart for arm twisting today. I
- 4:08don't know. What do you guys like the arm twisting you seem to respond
- 4:12to. It is this secretly some kind of fem dom thing going on that's
- 4:17a disor fined on. I don't know anyway, So please go have I
- 4:23sullied everything by even mentioning that, Please go to feed the Batchel dot com
- 4:27slash support dominate me mommy so you can do more men's rights activism. Yikes,
- 4:35that's almost like a reciprocal relationship though, if you think about it.
- 4:40Yeah, U from Senior Sticks gives us two dollars and says, can we
- 4:46get a return of the reading feminists. I have to you've been talking about
- 4:51the sound bite because I have to get this. I don't have it right
- 4:54now. I haven't been You have been saying you have to get that for
- 4:58like two years, and I'll I had it like last year or whatever.
- 5:01I feel this is like my computer like ate its own asshole. I had
- 5:05it, but I don't have it right now. So I feel like this
- 5:09is an aversion that we're dealing with your subconscious aversion. Yeah, but but
- 5:16but how much is your subconscious involved in you know, I don't want to
- 5:20even contemplate this thing, so I'll just I'll just I'm probably a significant part
- 5:27of it is that. Yeah, but it's just like beyond cringe. And
- 5:30I don't know if I want it, but but I'll get it. I'll
- 5:32get it if that's what it. That's what I keep asking for it.
- 5:36By the way, I think that, you know, it's I don't know.
- 5:40I can't say I don't know. Okay, I don't want to presume,
- 5:44all right, Okay, so okay, let's go. Yeah, let's
- 5:47get into the article. So this is a researcher study the most common last
- 5:53words of suicidal men, and it says a lot about how we indoctrinate men
- 5:56as providers. By the way, guys, in Joe's here, he's sleeping
- 6:00on his little bed. The following contains discussions of suicide and maybe triggering to
- 6:05suicide survivors or anyone bereathed by suicide. How many times we're gonna say the
- 6:11word suicide in this article. When Wellington Little checked into a Milwaukee hotel after
- 6:18the nineteen twenty nine stock market crash. He was down to his last four
- 6:23cents and emptied of hope. But before he put a revolver to his head,
- 6:28he took out a pen and left the following note, my body should
- 6:31go to science, my soul to Secretary of Treasury Andrew W. Mellon,
- 6:35and sympathy to my creditors. Okay, can I just yeah, can I
- 6:41just point something out here? A lot of times I know that people,
- 6:46of course try to get their last jab. People, let's be honest,
- 6:49misinterests like to get their last job at suicidal men who take their lives and
- 6:55say the reason why they shoot themselves is because they don't care about leaving a
- 7:00mess for their family to find. But a lot of men who shoot themselves
- 7:04actually check into a hotel. Now, of course it's going to leave a
- 7:09mess for the for the hotel staff to find, but not their families.
- 7:13So they're actually thinking ahead about not traumatizing their families in many cases. Yea.
- 7:19And so when a missengreest talks about how men really even just hate everybody
- 7:26in their last moments killing themselves, it's or don't care or our callous towards
- 7:31everyone, it's not actually true. And the other thing is that I probably
- 7:39men use more lethal methods so that their families don't have to go through the
- 7:44whole process of resuscitation and trying to save their lives, and you know,
- 7:50that whole, long, drawn emotional process where one person takes center stage and
- 7:57everybody else revolves around them and starts thinking about how what did I do well?
- 8:01You know, like the process that women seem to prefer when they try
- 8:05to commit suicide, as it were, and consistently sort of ties into that
- 8:13whole idea that women do it more as a cry for attention than to end
- 8:18what they consider to be a burden upon others. So you can the lethality
- 8:22of men's methods may simply be the fact that they don't want to continue to
- 8:28be a burden on others, And the non lethality of women's methods is maybe
- 8:33just because they consider it okay to be continue to be a burden on others.
- 8:37And I'm just saying this because this all of these framing, all this
- 8:41framework, you'll hear this stuff from misinterests about men's suicide that they don't care
- 8:46about other people, that's why they they do things that are violent and their
- 8:52their friends and relatives will find the corpse. Well, men often think about
- 8:56that and do it somewhere where their friends and relatives don't find them. And
- 9:01also they use more lethal methods because I honestly, the argument for why men
- 9:07using more lethal methods makes them bad escapes me at the moment, but I
- 9:11know it's been made. And the counter that is, maybe they use more
- 9:16lethal methods so they get rid of the burden and it's over and their family
- 9:20does not have to worry about them anymore and doesn't have to make the whole
- 9:24fight for their life for anything. So you know, those are the counter
- 9:26arguments I would say to the misse interests and how they frame men's suicide as
- 9:30a as a next a as another layer of men's oppression of everyone else.
- 9:35And they've done that, Like I'm not out of word or when I say
- 9:37that, Oh yeah, no, I don't think so, I've heard it
- 9:43anyway. So I just wanted to point that out. Okay, let's keep
- 9:46going. Even in his last moments, little one in his corporeal remains and
- 9:52soul utilized by the world he was leaving. A century later, men still
- 9:56carry this burden. Their self worth is tied to their usefulness. Today we
- 10:01call how many times wait like here? How many I'm sorry, go ahead?
- 10:03No, it's okay, go ahead? How many times? How many
- 10:07times have we said this like um? When we have this discussion about suicide,
- 10:13and it's the feminist. I don't want to single out groups of people
- 10:18a right, except for the commies. I don't want to single out groups
- 10:20of people for a preborum. But the truth is that if feminists didn't exist,
- 10:26a lot of these arguments or all of these arguments, all of these
- 10:28anti male arguments wouldn't exist. They are from feminists. So feminists come out
- 10:35and they say that the reason why men commit suicide is because they hate women
- 10:39so much they refuse to adopt women's ways of coping and go go to a
- 10:43doctor, or they hate being femininist so much, they have so much femophobia
- 10:50that they refuse to take care of themselves because taking care of themselves is is
- 10:54pussy talk, all right, Yeah, And I just want to point it
- 11:00out like that, that's not why. It's not why. It's because even
- 11:05to get to the point of going to the doctor about these painful feelings you
- 11:09have to be feel like you are worthy of burdening another person. Right,
- 11:16that's the problem that suicidal men are facing. They don't want to be a
- 11:20burden, so they don't go to the doctor because that would be well.
- 11:22Most of them do actually go to the doctor before before committing suicide, so
- 11:28that's one thing. They go to the doctor. They go to social services
- 11:31to go to the therapist, so they are reaching out before killing themselves.
- 11:33It's just that for whatever reason, those services are failing men, probably because
- 11:39of its rhetoric around toxic masculinity and being the exact opposite thing that you should
- 11:43say to a man who's suicidal, and but also also the reason why men
- 11:52are doing this, the reason why men are pursuing this, pursuing this goal,
- 12:00I don't know what to call it end is because they don't want to
- 12:03be a burden on others. And the only way to get men to keep
- 12:07because let's be honest here, if you're a man, like most doctors and
- 12:13therapists are going to be just even just naturally they'll just take away feminism.
- 12:18They're gonna be naturally more callous towards you. Okay, so you're gonna have
- 12:24to beat your head against that brick wall more, which means you're gonna have
- 12:26to be in position to believe that you have some kind of value that you
- 12:31need to preserve. And if all you're thinking is I am a burden,
- 12:35you're not going You're gonna just go once the therapist is gonna just indicate through
- 12:39his feminist training that you are indeed a burden on the world, and you're
- 12:45just gonna off yourself unless you have somebody telling you that you have value and
- 12:52that you should fight for that value, just for by virtue of being,
- 12:56of living and just existing, you have you as a man. And if
- 13:03nobody's saying that, how do you overcome this belief that all you are is
- 13:05either useful or useless? Okay, I just wanted to say that, Yeah,
- 13:11yeah, fair enough. Maybe this was the wrong article to do for
- 13:13the final fundraising strengths. I got a super chow playing Dane gives us five
- 13:22bucks and says, Brian, you never told us who she was? Who?
- 13:26Who who was? Who got the voice acting job? Also, can
- 13:31you please add the y why why passer mean to the soundboard, thanks for
- 13:35what you guys are doing. Um, all right, I'll answer the question
- 13:37if it gets us donation. So the person who does the giggling badgage hands
- 13:43sounds is NC Clark, who also known as Sour Grape we used to have
- 13:52on the show. Yeah, well she still talks to us. She talks
- 13:56to me. She used to have in area. I mean I don't know,
- 14:01I mean, like you know, I mean she still knows who we
- 14:05are and I think she still likes us. So yeah, so our great
- 14:09Um, fair enough. And C Clark's her real name. So, uh,
- 14:15and that's for the pastor meme what I why? Yeah, it's a
- 14:24pastor saying why a bunch of times. Um, it's pretty funny, but
- 14:28I um, for whatever reason, you're not able to hear it. But
- 14:31it's okay. I'll fix that. It's probably a setting in my soundboard,
- 14:35but I do have it. So and uh, and you're welcome for what
- 14:39we're doing. Hopefully we can keep doing it. So thanks for the super
- 14:45chow and then and that's it. Yeah, I think we can move on
- 14:48now. So actually, you know what I'm gonna do is, because we've
- 14:52gotten such a significant number of super chows this month, I think I'm going
- 14:54to reduce the overall goal to six, back to six four six nine zero.
- 15:03And the reason why I put it up is because we lost some We
- 15:05didn't lose some patrons. I had some patrons say can you put us One
- 15:09patron was getting a foundation laid for his mini house, and another patron was
- 15:16moving to a different city, so they had I had to put a large
- 15:20amount of a patron don't support on hold UM. But since we got quite
- 15:26a bit of supercow income, I could probably reduce it. So i've i've
- 15:31I've updated it. It's now at four six nine zero UM, and that
- 15:37means we have six hundred and ninety dollars left to go. So if you
- 15:41are able to help us out to get through to the last bit of that,
- 15:43that would be greatly appreciated, you know. And I want to I
- 15:48want to run this out to the end, just just because, you know,
- 15:54I think that I want to make sure that Honey Badger Radio is able
- 15:58to continue and to be able to meet me meet our goal every month is
- 16:03really important to that obvious for obvious reasons. And uh, and I'm I'm
- 16:08I'm actually sort of regretting choosing this particular article to do for the final fundraiser,
- 16:14because it it's a little clashy, you know what I mean? Uh,
- 16:19yeah, yeah, I mean, but it's okay. At least there's
- 16:26always h you can always put a positive spin on it. I think you
- 16:30can say, well, at least they're talking about it. Oh yeah,
- 16:33I mean it is, it is. There is some really good in this
- 16:36article. I mean it's groping towards something. It's still not there yet.
- 16:41Perhaps someone you know, with a little bit more of a hard passion.
- 16:45Yeah, I can like get us there that has the reach. But um,
- 16:52okay, so today we call these utilitarian men good providers. And while
- 16:56society ties itself in knots to find what it means to be a provider from
- 17:00any men, it comes down to feeling useful. Well, okay, can
- 17:06I just say from the earlier paragraphs, she says men sterry still carry the
- 17:10burden that their self worth is tied to their usefulness. It almost sounds like
- 17:18she's kind of blaming men for that, like that they shouldn't like they shouldn't
- 17:22have they're self worth tied into usefulness. I think that I don't know that
- 17:27men look at it as I don't know, I'm not sure about the wording.
- 17:32I'll just say that but anyway, so for many, many comes out
- 17:36and being useful. Unfortunately, when men are asked to lie down in this
- 17:41procrustrian bed, many respond in one of two dangerous ways. A they worked
- 17:45themselves to death clearing hurdle at the hurdle in the relentless pursuit of some bogus
- 17:49hegemonic definition of masculinity that eventually kills them earlier than women. Or be they
- 17:55emotionally withdrawal and quietly still stew in depression, resentment, and the fear that
- 18:00their contributions will never be adequate, or at least never enough to attract a
- 18:03life partner or obtain societal status. This withdrawal partially explains why the sex rates
- 18:07have dropped in young men but not young women. Well they are dropping in
- 18:14women too. Oh yeah, they are dropping significantly. Women are now more
- 18:17sexless than men. I think, yeah, there there is that, But
- 18:21um, women can have sex a lot easier than men, so maybe the
- 18:26access that's a surprised. Yeah, I may surprised because they're they're not They're
- 18:30not. I mean, we have this this belief that women can have sex
- 18:36more easily than men. But the truth is that any kind of because because
- 18:41the level of risk aversion in the average woman has been increasing exponentially. Think
- 18:47about it, like, if you are so terrified you're not going to have
- 18:51sex, and it's and it's not necessarily because you don't want sex, it's
- 18:53because you're terrified about any of the process to get it, like um.
- 18:57And the more that men don't approach women, the more women have to approach
- 19:00men, and they're not going to do it, So they'll just stit there
- 19:03like a female marijuana plant, stewing in their own sexual frustration because they're too
- 19:10afraid to take matters into their own hands, so to speak, you know.
- 19:15And so the idea that I don't know women are willingly opting out of
- 19:19sex, well yeah, I mean if they were, because men sort of
- 19:22approach this issue in terms of their own thinking like, oh well, I
- 19:27mean if I had a woman's vast array of options, I would be drowning
- 19:33in sex. But you got to think about it from a woman's point of
- 19:36view. You can't handle any kind of rejection, So you can't approach a
- 19:41man to ask for sex. You can't handle the idea of maybe meeting a
- 19:48strange man who hasn't been vetted by your by anyone that you know, so
- 19:53you can't really get on the internet and do that. And I mean,
- 19:56the the the sheer level of fear response and the average woman now is paging
- 20:03her into a sexless existence. And I mean it really struck me that like
- 20:08a couple of episodes ago, we we talked, we talked about the Leprager
- 20:12use. I think it was my mesies mesis what it means. It was
- 20:17a libertarian out that the libertarian. Yes, okay, you know what I
- 20:22just I just labeled a bunch of I think libertarian things and didn't get the
- 20:26right one is definitely a libertarian. I don't know what I mean. Maybe
- 20:33okay, but the Tom Tom Woods Thomas Woods, um. He the guests
- 20:37talked about how it's actually requires more courage for a woman to get married and
- 20:45have children and have a family, or even just get married to open herself
- 20:48up to loving another person then it does just to get a paycheck. It
- 20:53actually requires more courage, and he's right, and it also requires more courage
- 21:00for women to avail themselves of the sexual options that men think they have,
- 21:04but women don't have them if they're too terrified to use them. So it's
- 21:10like women's men are cock blocked by the the the whole artific the whole edifice
- 21:25of how society structures this thing. Like they're cock blocked by how they're constantly
- 21:30being advertised as horrible and toxic. They're cock blocked by how they are being
- 21:36excluded from being from and they're not only expected to be providers, they're excluded
- 21:41from being providers at the same time, like female only scholarships, female only
- 21:47jobs, female only diversity quotas, on and on and on, and all
- 21:51of this is stopping men from accessing sex. Well, the same narrative is
- 21:57changing women in the cowardly like isolation cell, where even though they have the
- 22:07opportunity to pursue all of these avenues for relationships and human connection, they don't
- 22:12because they're too scared. And now they're becoming more and more sexless because everything
- 22:18is becoming even like their whole world is becoming fear. It sounds like,
- 22:23and not surprisingly, women's misery increases and their violence towards each other increases as
- 22:33we as we go into the end game. And um, so yes,
- 22:37women are are. We could say that women have these options, but they
- 22:41don't have these options, like a person who has a severe who's severely agoraphobic,
- 22:48has the option to walk out their front door. I mean, because
- 22:52everybody does, but they really don't because they're too afraid to do it.
- 22:57Their fear is caging them. And that's where women, That's where a lot
- 23:02of women are at. Their fear is caging them from from human connection.
- 23:07Now, so it's this is this seems to be like a it seems like
- 23:11a really unpleasant, um unpleasant thing that we are pursuing, as in in
- 23:17the name of somehow benefiting women. This seems like it's getting more and more
- 23:22unpleasant for women. But you know, let's keep let's you know, we
- 23:27were well past the point where we could stop, so let's just keep going.
- 23:33M Let's see how miserable we can get women. Let's see if we
- 23:37can get it so that women are have the same suicide rates as men.
- 23:41Okay, why not? That's the new feminist equality goal, all right,
- 23:47all right, so, um so, given the confusing state of masculinity,
- 23:52it probably won't surprise anyone that when researchers studied the last words of suicidal men,
- 23:57they found the two most i'm in words used were useless and worthless,
- 24:03unbelievable. No, no, not at all, not at all. We
- 24:07should all know the statistics by now. Although depression rates are higher in women,
- 24:11young men die by suicide at four times the rate of young women.
- 24:15But wait a minute, but wait a minute. Doesn't that kind of suggest
- 24:21that there isn't a strong correlation between depression and suicide or that men are less
- 24:30likely to get useful treatment for depression Because we know what the American Psychological Association's
- 24:37guidelines are for treating men with that are struggling with mental health. We know
- 24:42that it doesn't look like therapy is, let's say, a cure all solution
- 24:52to people that are struggling with whatever they're struggling with mental health issues. I
- 24:59guess I don't know that that's super useful information. Like what I noticed is
- 25:06that people are no longer forming friendships, and they're not forming relationships, and
- 25:15they're not close to their family members, and they don't have people in their
- 25:18community that's spend time with. They don't have they don't go to church,
- 25:22they don't know their priests. Whatever it is, right, we've always had
- 25:26that for most of American history, to the extent that we can, but
- 25:30all of that's been pushed away and now pip all of a sudden, with
- 25:34that going down, there's a rise in especially women going to therapists and gurus
- 25:42and they're I don't know, personal trainer or pilates instructor whatever it is,
- 25:48and it's not helping them. I think that, and this is the I
- 25:53know this is a digression, but I think that I don't think that therapists
- 25:59are that useful. I think that people should have people in their lives,
- 26:04like they should have a significant other. They should have their their parents,
- 26:11their siblings, if they have siblings. Again, that's another aspect. I'm
- 26:17noticing people are having smaller and smaller families, so fewer and fewer siblings.
- 26:22Um, they should have uncle's aunts. Uh. They should have their coach,
- 26:26their priests, their commanding officer there, whatever, the people that they
- 26:30can confide in to help them. And I don't think they have it.
- 26:33And I think that it's it's bad for everyone. But I think that women
- 26:40are more likely to like be vocally displeased by it and try to like go
- 26:47to help, ask for help whatever, and men are more likely to just
- 26:51kind of try to bear it. But they need that we all need that,
- 26:55and I don't. I don't. My personal opinion, I don't think
- 26:59the therapists are necessarily the answer. Um. I think that we treat it
- 27:03too much like a you know, well, like medication and like oh you
- 27:07have a headache, Well here's gonna leave. Right, you don't feel so
- 27:11well, go see a therapist. I don't know that they're very useful.
- 27:12I could be wrong, but that's my that's my belief. Sorry for the
- 27:21no. That's okay. I mean, that's that's fine. That's what we're
- 27:26here for. Yeah, digressing, I mean if women, if women had
- 27:30friends and they had a boyfriend or a husband that they loved and they would
- 27:34like confide in, right, and if not that at least like your mother
- 27:37or your father or your aunt, uncle, brothers, sisters, you know
- 27:44that they might be able to help them. I mean I don't know.
- 27:47Like here where I live, something I've noticed when I was in Chicago,
- 27:52there was a lot more atomization. People were keeping to themselves. They didn't
- 27:56they didn't have good relationship with their parents or their family. They didn't go
- 28:00to church, they didn't have any community thing except for school, you know,
- 28:06like whatever they or their job, and it sort of like centers your
- 28:11life around those things which are I think less important. I mean, it's
- 28:14important, but it's not as important. But here in Virginia, like I
- 28:19mean, people are so neighborly and they're and they're really big on community.
- 28:26And yes, there's a lot of churches here. It's a very religious place
- 28:30compared to Chicago. But there's a lot of community here. There's a lot
- 28:33of people like looking out for each other. You know, it's a small
- 28:37town. So well it's not really small, but it's definitely bigger than Kelvington,
- 28:41but it's a lot smaller than Chicago. I think that I don't know,
- 28:45I just I just think we're missing something. This woman sounds like she's
- 28:49from a really big city like London, and she's just like, well,
- 28:52you know, men aren't going to therapy, and it's like maybe that's not
- 28:56what they need. Maybe they need friends. They need these guys to go
- 29:00fishing with, guys to go like just like sit in the living room and
- 29:04smoke cigars and listen to music, chat whatever it is. I don't know.
- 29:12Yeah, Okay, let's let's keep going, all right, Um,
- 29:18we should all statistics Oh yeah, right, Unfortunately, men are also indoctrinated
- 29:22to suffer silently by who a recent study, Yeah, before you continue,
- 29:29just pull it down a bit because because the yeah yeah thing, I know.
- 29:33Yeah, sorry, yeah, just I'll just move on this side and
- 29:38you'll still have to keep it. It doesn't really matter what side. Yeah,
- 29:44no, okay, keep going, all right. Um. Recent study
- 29:49found men who die by suicide were less likely to have been diagnosed with depression.
- 29:55Well, because I don't think men trust mental health. Okay, depression
- 30:03isn't well, first of all, it doesn't like depression is a mental illness.
- 30:07Okay, suicide and men is something completely different. It's when in my
- 30:12opinion, now I might be completely wrong, but this is what I've based
- 30:15on all of the evidence that I've read, and I've read a lot of
- 30:18evidence, and I have a very much more open mind, shall we say,
- 30:22about social pressures on men than a lot of these individuals. Okay,
- 30:26suicide appears to be when the usual coping skills that men have, which is
- 30:33to exteriorize and to not not in a bad way, but to look at
- 30:41what they can do, just start to fail them. And it's not just
- 30:45it's not it's not an issue of toxic masculinity or or they they don't they
- 30:51don't want it to be female. Well, first of all, nobody should
- 30:53have to behave in a certain way to get access to the resources they need.
- 31:00Um Like, then it's never I don't think it's rarely the patience problem.
- 31:06It's usually practitioners. But the other thing is that their role and and
- 31:12nothing informed by feminism can help men overcome this. Their role is to protect
- 31:19and provide for others, to be useful for others, and when they feel
- 31:23that they've failed in that role, it becomes a forced multiplier. Like likes
- 31:30you get, they get into a negative thought spiral that they cannot stop,
- 31:34all right, And they can't stop it because they're never told that they have
- 31:40value in and of themselves. And I know that like a lot of people
- 31:42will resist this, but in my experience, if you tell a man who's
- 31:47struggling with this negative thought spiral, no, you have something worth fighting for
- 31:51inside you, it doesn't turn him into a useless potato. He actually just
- 31:56digs deeper and fights harder. Okay, And so we have a society that
- 32:01not only doesn't tell men that they have any kind of inherent work, but
- 32:06also tells men that their primary influence on every other person in society that would
- 32:15be women is negative. So they are if they do not achieve, if
- 32:21they're not currently achieving some kind of benefit, then they are a burden like
- 32:27that if men are not curdened. Okay, So it's more than society says
- 32:32men need to be a provider and protector. It's that when men are incapable
- 32:37of fulfilling that role society that the only thing left to them is a pressor
- 32:44and burden in which and another word for a pressor is a burden on another
- 32:49person. So when men stumble, they have nothing, no story about how
- 33:00they have any kind of worth outside of being a provider and protector. The
- 33:05only story that they have is that they are an oppressor. That inherently this
- 33:09is the only consistent thing that men are without doing anything which is oppressive.
- 33:16Am I not wrong? Like if a man does nothing, feminism says he's
- 33:22oppressive, and there is no way that you can get away from this,
- 33:27because this is the predominant message about men. Absent anything else, any activity
- 33:34that a man is doing, any ideology that a man is doing, the
- 33:37only thing that feminists will say about men just as a category is that they
- 33:42oppressed women, and I would call him misinterests. Okay, let's call a
- 33:47missengriest because this is misinngry. The only thing that the only message that men
- 33:52have about themselves just as a category is that they oppressed women. Why so,
- 34:00this whole construct of feminism cannot solve this issue of male suicide because all
- 34:08their messaging is is if you're not providing protecting for a woman, you can
- 34:15providing. If you are providing for a woman, you're you're an oppressor.
- 34:19But you have to provide for her because if you're not providing for her,
- 34:22you're taking advantage of her. Okay, if you are, if you have
- 34:27any beliefs that aren't in line with feminism, you're oppressing her. Okay,
- 34:30if you if you don't take action in a way that we we tell you
- 34:37to, you're pressing women. All right, that's their messaging. And when
- 34:42you're not doing those things, you're oppressed. That the only thing left to
- 34:45you is that you're an oppressor. As a man, the only definition is
- 34:49that you're toxic. The only masculinity is toxic, and your only action is
- 34:52oppression. That's the only thing that you're given that that's that's the racial stats
- 34:58for men at birth? You get that? Is that an appropriate way of
- 35:01putting it? You know, you get points and oppression and you get that's
- 35:09that's what you get it. That's the only thing that you get at birth
- 35:13if you're a man and it. And it's like I said, there's no
- 35:19way that anybody indoctrinated in that viewpoint can solve this issue because suicide mental health
- 35:24issues are separate from it for men. I don't know if what it's going
- 35:29on with women. It seems like every woman is diagnosed with depression, so
- 35:32it seems irrelevant now. But for men, suicide isn't necessarily an issue of
- 35:37mental health. It's a it's a it's the collision between the messaging that you
- 35:44must protect and provide for women and feminist messaging that the natural state. If
- 35:50you're not currently doing that, and they all allow that you can currently be
- 35:53protecting women by feminizing, feminist ing or whatever it is, agreeing with them.
- 36:00If you're not currently doing that, then you're oppressing women. So those
- 36:04messages, there is no room, there's no room for men to take care
- 36:08of themselves in those messaging. And that's the problem. It's not a mental
- 36:13health issue, it's a societal messaging issue, and nobody wants to address it.
- 36:17Nobody wants to recognize it. Instead, what if feminists do? They
- 36:21just blame men more, Oh, you're committing suicide because because you're just so
- 36:28patriarchally oppressive that you won't embrace women's superior ways of knowing. And they deny
- 36:36the whole constructs. What's the feminist message, Oh, men would construct a
- 36:40society for their own benefit at the expensive women. Men would only ever burden
- 36:45women. More So, it's constantly going back to this idea of his men
- 36:50is a burden if he if he does anything for himself. I mean,
- 36:55feminism teaches men to kill themselves. I'm gonna lay that out there. Maybe
- 37:05people will feel like, ah, listen, you're taking it too far.
- 37:07We'll explain it to me like men with a Feminism literally teaches men that their
- 37:13natural state is a burden on women. And what the what are the two
- 37:19things that suicidal men say? I'm useless and I'm a burden. Yeah,
- 37:25then feminism blames men for feeling useless and a burden and killing themselves as a
- 37:37result of this. Yeah, this was Okay, all right, I got
- 37:43a super chow from Laane Dane. Thank you, Plane Dane, um and
- 37:51Plane Dane says, I feel like for five bucks. I feel like the
- 37:54only reason people would even care about suicide, specifically male suicide, is because
- 37:58a man can no longer generate any for the government to steal aka tax um.
- 38:06Yeah. Probably in the abstract. I mean, I'm sure that there
- 38:08are people in that man's life that are going to be impacted, like,
- 38:12not just financially, but like, you know, like his kids if he
- 38:15has any, and oh, hopefully his wife. I mean, I don't
- 38:21know, maybe, but but I think that there will be there will be
- 38:25people, you know, looking at like how it impacts the GDP, so
- 38:31you know. Um, okay, I actually have a question for you guys.
- 38:37I chose a really depressing topic. Is the final sort of fundraising stream?
- 38:42Should I continue the fundraiser? Are you guys going to help out with
- 38:45it? Or do you not want to help out with it? That's okay,
- 38:47I mean, no no pressure. I really feel bad about arm twisting
- 38:51with this article I think is the problem. And uh, I don't know,
- 38:57maybe maybe that we could do a chaser that's not quite as difficult,
- 39:01like do you see what? Do you get what I'm getting at? Like,
- 39:07I get it. I don't want to ask for more from men on
- 39:10as a when going through this particular article. So just just tell me if
- 39:15this is like uncomfortable, in which case I'll just like, I'll deal with
- 39:19it, you know, all right? All right, I can put it
- 39:22in as a pole. Yeah. Should we continue to the end of this
- 39:27fundraiser or do you want me to just close it off and end it?
- 39:32Um? All right, let's let's do the article. Hold on? Okay?
- 39:37Oops? Oops, sorry, and uh I told you I was gonna
- 39:44put it in as a pole, So okay, in the meantime, I'll
- 39:47read a bit more. Um. Then oh, then there is yes what
- 39:55Oh no, I was just noting that I was muted because I was speaking.
- 39:58And then yeah, don't worry about it. Okay. Then there is
- 40:00the education gap. In his latest book of Boys and Men, Why the
- 40:04modern Male is Struggling, Why it matters, and what to do about it,
- 40:07Richard reeves outline some alarming statistics. Let me guess this guy's a male
- 40:10feminist Jimmy or Michael Kimmel type. We'll see women outnumber men in colleges four
- 40:17to three and are more likely to graduate high school. This drop in educated
- 40:21men spells trouble for their future employment options. One and three men without a
- 40:24high school diploma has dropped out of labor force, not not unemployed, not
- 40:29working. Okay, it's actually worse now, Yeah, something like um,
- 40:36three to four to three. I'm pretty sure it's now two to it's now
- 40:43two to one. And the graduation rate is even worse. So men are
- 40:52leaving colleges, and you know, they still dominate in those degrees that are
- 40:59probably gonna end up making money, but they're no longer going for like the
- 41:04humanities or the arts or anything, because God forbid our most risk taking people
- 41:09be part of pushing the envelope of human expression, right him, All right,
- 41:15no wonder artists crap now anyway, So so this has gotten worse,
- 41:21These statistics have gotten worse. Yeah, I'm not I'm not crazy about these
- 41:27metrics because again, like like the depression thing, I don't I mean education,
- 41:34I mean, yeah, there's a gap, but education kind of sucks.
- 41:37So yeah, that are winning out in this. They aren't going into
- 41:40like six figures of debt for a useless degree. I'm not saying all the
- 41:45degrees are useless per se, but I think there's enough useless degrees that it
- 41:47should call into question the whole concept of universities and education. And to begin
- 41:52with, when a man can just go into a trade and learn under someone
- 41:58else like we used to do, you know, like as a like as
- 42:00an apprentice, or they can go into something that is functional and like you
- 42:06know, like electrician or plumber or whatever and make a lot of money and
- 42:12um, you know, maybe it doesn't necessarily have to measure their intellect,
- 42:16you know, in a with a piece of paper. Maybe that's not I
- 42:21mean, most people can't do that. So women getting more degrees doesn't really
- 42:24mean anything except that their their standards are going to go through the roof because
- 42:29they think they're they're bought into this idea that a man that's deserving of their
- 42:34time and attention should also have the same or a higher degree and that they
- 42:38should be making more money. So it's almost like you created the girl boss,
- 42:42and now the girl bosses are looking for a man that's a bigger boss
- 42:45than them because they don't actually want to be, you know, the breadwinner
- 42:49in most cases, and they're not finding anyone because nobody meets the meets their
- 42:53criteria. And the men are you know, they're they're excluded that don't have
- 43:00that. So I don't know. I think I think that these people are
- 43:02making make a mess of everything everything, Yes, a surprise, And then
- 43:08men and women suffer, and they they blame women suffering on men, and
- 43:14they claim that men are the problem, and but they continue to just again,
- 43:19this woman, she's putting stock in things that are not proven to actually
- 43:25function in the way that she claims. You know what I'm saying, And
- 43:28you know, yeah, I know. And you know what Zelse is interesting
- 43:30to me is that I noticed that you did a video on the phenomenon of
- 43:36the lazy girl job. Right, Oh yeah, that was an after show.
- 43:39Yeah, yes, um they So there's now a surgence of women laying
- 43:45flat that just want to do jobs that just get by. So what these
- 43:49individuals. And incidentally, once again, I'm not sure who made the brilliant
- 43:53decision to hand defining the relationship between men and women to a bunch of radical
- 43:58lesbian separatists, but you know, it happened. We're doing that now.
- 44:01But there's a bunch of women now who don't want a girl boss, who
- 44:06don't want to take the reins and make the necessary sacrifices to be high powered,
- 44:12or they're just admitting that that's what they always wanted and they didn't.
- 44:15Yes, but but well, but here's the thing. Like, when you
- 44:20look at hunter gatherers societies, it's men's productivity that that incentivizes women's productivity,
- 44:27which incentivizes men's productivity. So when you destroy the relationship and the reward system
- 44:31between men and women, you don't get girl bosses. You get just get
- 44:37demotivated men and women. Like the radical feminist paradise is never going to happen
- 44:45because women don't do shit without men. Men. Women are also motivated by
- 44:50men. Look at the biggest goddamn industry in writing now. It's romance fiction,
- 44:55and what it is is simply a woman being motivated by deduced something or
- 45:00question yourself by a man. Women are motivated by men to be productive.
- 45:05So you're never going to get this rade fantasy. It's it's as it's as
- 45:08ridiculous as communism. No offense to the communes. I know that you know,
- 45:14I can understand why you want it. On the surface, it seems
- 45:19really really positive. But if they're, if they're, if you once you
- 45:27just poke it a little bit, it falls apart because you have no way
- 45:30of incentivizing people to be productive. And then when you bring lesbian separatists feminists
- 45:35to define the relationship between men and women, you have no reason that men
- 45:39and women have no longer any reason to be productive for each other. And
- 45:45we get what we have now. We got a mess, a gigantic,
- 45:49goddamn mess, and everybody's unhappy. Yeah, but only men are actually doing
- 45:55something about it by doing by and hearing themselves. Well, anyways, for
- 46:04me, she's like two strikes already. One strike one. Therapy is the
- 46:08only way to keep people from committing suicide, and it's men should be using
- 46:15it, even though therapy and all mental health services are literally anti male.
- 46:20And number two, men should have more useless degrees because that would somehow make
- 46:25their life more fulfilling. I think that what she's using the degrees about is
- 46:30more like a symptom of something being wrong. Yeah, yeah, something's wrong
- 46:35with education. It's gotta I'm with Vivic Brahmaswamy. Just the whole Department of
- 46:40Education has to go. It has to be burned to the ground, and
- 46:45I will piss on the ashes and we'll just come up with something else.
- 46:47You know, everybody around here, they homeschool and their kids are got for
- 46:52that art. Unfortunately, I'm gonna just to read this paragraph. Unfortunatelyn are
- 46:55also a doctrinated to suffer silently. A recent study found that men who die
- 47:00suicide would less likely to have been diagnosed with depression. Okay, so yes,
- 47:04she deserves a strike for that. Not necessarily a strike ideologically, but
- 47:07just rationally. You cannot assume by the fact that men who were who were
- 47:13who committed suicide weren't diagnosed with depression, that they actually had it. Depression
- 47:19is a specific mental illness. It isn't just like, oh, depression equal
- 47:22suicide, all right. You Like the thing is, you cannot make that
- 47:29connection. There was something that entirely could have been something some other pressure.
- 47:34And in fact, when you look at the statistics, it's the breakdown of
- 47:37a relationship or a relationship being troubled, which usually means abusive. So men
- 47:44are more likely to commit suicide as a result of relationship breakdown or a troubled
- 47:47relationship. So these these men weren't necessarily depressed. They simply had to come
- 47:55face to face with viewing them elves in terms of being a provider and protector
- 48:01for a woman and having that taken away and not knowing who they were and
- 48:08what worth they had outside of that. It's as simple as that. You
- 48:13don't have to appeal to a mental illness which is completely separate from that from
- 48:16that dynamic, nor should you considering the uh, the actual finding that there
- 48:22isn't a necessarily an association um with depression and suicide in men. Okay,
- 48:30I just want to point that it's a it's a point against her for rationality,
- 48:32irrationality and making assumpsons that she can't. Yeah, I got a super
- 48:37chat across Malachy Malarkey for five not five dollars. Those trades often are only
- 48:46hiring in certain areas and have become boomerized. You need to already know before
- 48:51you apply or you get nothing. Um well, I think it's worth looking
- 48:57into anyway, and BLUs you can learn a lot of shit just going on
- 48:59the internet. You can learn how to do shit. So I'm just saying
- 49:02like, maybe, um, I don't think that going into you know,
- 49:08five or six figures in debt just to like get a piece of paper that
- 49:14allows you to do a job that you can probably learn on your own.
- 49:16It's something that we should certainly be challenging as a concept, is all I'm
- 49:20saying. Okay, So because I think that we've just made this, you
- 49:24know, assumption that if you're if you graduate grammar school, you're smart,
- 49:29if you graduate high school you're smarter, and if you graduate college you're really
- 49:32smart. Um, And I don't think that it actually bears out. I
- 49:36mean, I don't know how many people of PhDs are absolute morons. So
- 49:38I wouldn't buy into like just defeatism. There. Oh, I'm not buying
- 49:44into defeatism. I'm not talking about I'm talking about the act. No,
- 49:47I don't think men want want that. They want. They they're you know,
- 49:51they're gonna if they want to make make a way in this world,
- 49:57they're gonna scrape at whatever they can get their hands. Here's the thing that
- 50:00we're living in a time where there's more access to more resources and more knowledge
- 50:05than ever in history. So why don't use that? Yes, I mean,
- 50:08like, okay, yes, the situation is pretty awful. Well,
- 50:12first of all, there's not much if you if you're going to go to
- 50:15college, go to get a degree that'll make money. Obviously, avoid interacting
- 50:20with women as much as possible. If you're going to consider a trade instead,
- 50:25if if, if, if college isn't of interest to you, and
- 50:29yes, you you will probably have to apprentice. You'll probably have to start
- 50:32from the from the been, the ground up. But at the other hand,
- 50:37at the end of the day, when you're part of an industry that's
- 50:39actually responsible for keeping society running, you'll get a sense of purpose from that
- 50:46that may be very beneficial to you. And it will be completely separate from
- 50:52a relationship with a woman. And I think that's important as well. Yeah,
- 50:58and you know, just know that if you do get or if you
- 51:00do get a job and some essential service UM. Basically that's not like being
- 51:08a financial courtier to the to the fed. UM. You are providing a
- 51:15valuable service to society and UM and that's that's important. And uh, you
- 51:22know, take taste like you're you know, truck driver, UM, linemen
- 51:30lobster fisher, barklift operator, warehouse UM slinger of things. You know,
- 51:37all of that, all of that physical work needs to be done and it's
- 51:40mostly being done by men physical, dangerous and unpleasant. It's mostly being done
- 51:45by men, and it's mostly being done by men because they're men, and
- 51:49it's vitally important. And um, I mean whenever I go to the city,
- 51:53I always observe like the crews were operating, and you know, there's
- 51:59still is a bit of that kind of mentor mail mentorship going on with the
- 52:04construction crews and which is you know, you might find that to be very
- 52:07heartening as well. Just h I hate to pour up to look at the
- 52:14anything positive from the Barbie movie, but to have can actually stop identifying Barbie
- 52:23as a source of his self worth was is a good message. Um.
- 52:30All of the rest of it is massively confusing. I still don't understand why
- 52:37anyone would make anyone pledge allegiance to that mess of contradictory themes. But that
- 52:43is a message that I think that we could take from it and throw everything
- 52:45else out. Just don't don't hang your hat on a woman, don't hang
- 52:52your hat on having one, don't hang your hat on providing for one.
- 52:55And I know that's really difficult, but you know other other this is this
- 53:01is the this is the um, this is the verdone. This is like
- 53:06the norm the beaches of Normandy. This is the depression for this. This
- 53:08generation of men is just that is learning to not do that in a world
- 53:16that's taught you that over and over and over again. Okay, so this,
- 53:24Oh, do you have something? What? No, I don't have
- 53:28anything. Further, I just want to say, I do have a superchow.
- 53:31I'm going to read it. But before I do, I looked up
- 53:36this guy, Richard Reives, who wrote this book A Voice of Men,
- 53:38Why the modern Male is struggling and why it matters and what to do about
- 53:42it. Um, he's a male feminist, just like I predicted, because
- 53:45the only men that speak on men's issues that like the media will give any
- 53:51airtime to are male feminist men as long as they put women first in every
- 53:57instance. And when men are brought into the picture, they are brought in
- 54:00as men that need to essentially fix themselves because it would be better for women.
- 54:07That's I mean, they're going, that's going to be the guy all
- 54:10the time. And I have some evidence of this. He has a website
- 54:14at Richard Reeves dot com and there's an article. Well, he's written a
- 54:17bunch of essays and one of them is called one hundred years on politics is
- 54:21where the US lags most on gender equality. Now, when he says gender
- 54:23equality, he means women. He means not enough women, not enough women
- 54:30in power. Has to change. It's just awful, right. But so
- 54:34anyone who does that, in my mind, okay, anyone who does that
- 54:37immediately disqualified you. You're not you don't actually give a shit about men.
- 54:42You are just like wearing the skin suit of a guy who cares about men
- 54:46while blaming like basically blaming men for everything and claiming women are actually the biggest
- 54:52victims. So when men suffer, it's their fault. When women suffer,
- 54:57it's men's fault. So anyway, I just wanted to say that um Plain
- 55:04Dane gives us a five dollars and says, men are societies be suburden,
- 55:12but we are also viewed and treated like beasts. Feminists come along, grabs
- 55:15us by the risks and forces us to punch ourselves in the face while yelling
- 55:19why are you hitting yourself? This is what I think when I hear them
- 55:22spew terms like toxic masculinity and patriarchy. Yeah, like again, but here's
- 55:30the thing, you know that you can do you can create a society and
- 55:37you can be motivated by the fact that you're also taking care of other men.
- 55:40I mean, think about it. You know he might be be Suburdenum.
- 55:46You know, you might be doing the jobs that need to get done,
- 55:50but you're not just taking care of women. You're also taking care of
- 55:52other men. Maybe that's too too homosexual. Um, but um, like
- 56:00this isn't just a situation where, um, you know, women will suffer
- 56:06if men don't do these jobs. Like, but the thing is that look
- 56:08at the look at the survivor island. Okay, those guys were having a
- 56:13blast. And what were they doing. They were just working together to make
- 56:17a world better for each other. Is that gay? I don't know.
- 56:22No, I don't think men think that it's gay either. I think that
- 56:25feminists would try to like make it look gay to to try and discuss men.
- 56:30But no, I think men know the difference between you know, um,
- 56:35male bonding and friendships and like an orgy. I think they know the
- 56:39difference. Okay, all right, So and regardless, you know, I'm
- 56:44not going to judge whatever. Um. The the the whole idea of that
- 56:49that that that island that the men were on and they were they were just
- 56:52they were just doing their thing, and they were making life easier for each
- 56:57other, not what women were doing, but that's what we're doing. So
- 57:00can you be motivated by realizing that your job is making life easier for another?
- 57:07Men? I mean, if if it is that possible, does it
- 57:12always have to be for women? Is what I'm getting at. And yes,
- 57:15I know that men are very powerfully motivated by women, but I don't
- 57:22know what to say, Like, the average woman seems to not really want
- 57:25a man, she's been brainwashed. I mean, she lives in absolutely well.
- 57:34I mean, the most the thing that I've heard most about about happiness
- 57:38is that single women are happiest. They're not. Married women are twice as
- 57:45happy as single women. Yeah, and yet what what is the predominant thing?
- 57:50They went? They like, they they they dodged all of the evidence
- 57:53that married women are happier. Found the one guy who interpreted the statistics in
- 58:00an idiosyncratic way unique to him to find out that single women, Oh yeah,
- 58:05they're they're actually happier. It's like, no, they aren't. So
- 58:10yeah, women are not happy without men, period. But for whatever reason,
- 58:15they've got this huge dick up their ass and they don't want to acknowledge
- 58:20it anymore. Even married women are like har har harroring to themselves about that
- 58:24statistic. Oh yeah, Harold just makes me miserable. I'd be happier without
- 58:30him, har har harror. Like I have, I have. I try
- 58:38to explain things in such a way that women retain some kind of sympathy so
- 58:44we understand, you know, the pressures that they're under. But I am
- 58:46starting to get to the point where I can't anymore. This behavior is despicable.
- 58:52I mean, and then there's all the women who are constantly talking about,
- 58:55oh but domestic violence and rape, and I'm like, and I look
- 59:00at that, and I think, you know, I can show them the
- 59:02statistics that should make them question, at the very least the idea that men
- 59:08are the vast majority of rapists. Well, yeah they are if you define
- 59:13rapeists something that can only be done with a penis, which most of these
- 59:16these studies do. I mean, they construct this, this gigantic hatred towards
- 59:22men, or this gigantic anger towards men, using statistics that are manufactured by
- 59:28people who want to overemphasize female victimhood in order to make money, and you
- 59:32show them the statistics that prove that this isn't so, And it's just like
- 59:37bouncing a goddamn rubber ball off a fucking goddamn brick wall. They don't want
- 59:44to know. They want to fucking be angry and hateful towards men. This
- 59:49is what they want. They want to be angry and hateful towards men,
- 59:52and they want to keep come more and more and more and more and more
- 59:57miserable and violent to towards each other. And that's what they're choosing for themselves.
- 1:00:02And I look at this and I don't. I can't. I have
- 1:00:05nothing left for apology for women's behavior nothing. I have nothing left to say
- 1:00:13an apology for this except one thing. But I'm not going to get into
- 1:00:19it, because that's not what this is about. I've had a digression.
- 1:00:22That's fine, all right. I think I've read all of the super chats
- 1:00:27and child so let's continue. Um okay. But what's truly frustrating about the
- 1:00:35education gap is it didn't happen overnight. Men's education levels began dropping in the
- 1:00:42nineteen eighties. Why are we finally addressing it now? I don't know,
- 1:00:45because feminism didn't allow it. Reeves solution is to red shirt boys have them
- 1:00:50enrolled in school a year later to address developmental delays. When I first heard
- 1:00:53this solution, I balked, But Reeves makes a valid point. We adjusted
- 1:00:58STEM programs to act more women, but never change the education system to address
- 1:01:02the boys who lag in the emotional intelligence. Okay, emotional intelligence, this
- 1:01:15is what education is now. Reeves also points out that this men as providers
- 1:01:22belief endures despite the closing wage gap within marriages. According to a twenty twenty
- 1:01:27one US Bureau of Labor statistic study, thirty percent of wives now earn more
- 1:01:31than their husbands, but as mad men, masculinity is left behind. With
- 1:01:36poodle skirts and bullet braws. Many men are not rejoicing. Literally, not
- 1:01:42a reality that ever happened in the way that you think it, Jesus Christ.
- 1:01:47Households in which the wife was the breadwinner are fifty percent more likely to
- 1:01:52end in divorce, and husbands who make less than their wives are more likely
- 1:01:55to cheat. What back up for a second, Alison, and you're muted.
- 1:02:02I don't know if you're trying to talk, but no, I'm trying
- 1:02:07to follow this um so she's saying, So when you throw these statistics out
- 1:02:12there and you don't give like any more context, Okay, households in which
- 1:02:16the wife is the breadwinner are fifty percent more likely to end in divorce who
- 1:02:22initiates the divorce, and husbands who make less than their wives are more likely
- 1:02:28to cheat. Why not? Like? Does it like? Men just don't
- 1:02:32Oh my wife makes more than me. Well, I guess I'm gonna go
- 1:02:36bang this other chick. Why does it happen? What is the problem with
- 1:02:39the relationship dynamic? Is there something about a woman a wife making more money
- 1:02:45than her husband that creates tension? Not just because the husband feels emasculated.
- 1:02:51That's a bullshit thing. I mean, like, how does the wife feel
- 1:02:54about making more than her husband? How? How does like that's what I
- 1:02:59think needs to be Oh, well, I actually have a question. How
- 1:03:05much more likely are uh, how much more likely that the wives are all
- 1:03:15sull to cheat? Well that well, they're not. That's again, they're
- 1:03:19not. They're not talking about that either. How yeah, exactly, Like
- 1:03:22what if a wife who's making more money is more likely to cheat too,
- 1:03:24because she's still looking to level up, She's looking to trade up right,
- 1:03:31But I mean it happens. It's a reality. It's a reality, like
- 1:03:35hypergamy is real. So why wouldn't that Why is that not? Why is
- 1:03:39that not a can? You're batting factors to who the divorce rate? How
- 1:03:43how many times does a man who makes less than a woman get a divorce
- 1:03:46and take half her ship? What's the risk? Probably not much? Okay,
- 1:03:52So women who earn higher salaries are also than their partner are also more
- 1:03:57likely to cheat. Okay, So essentially what they're finding Okay, so this
- 1:04:01is a meaningless finding. Men report more likeliness to cheat than women. Um.
- 1:04:08This may not be because men are more likely to cheat. It may
- 1:04:10just be because men are more likely to be honest in these surveys. So
- 1:04:14we have men who earn more are more likely to cheat, and men who
- 1:04:16earn less are more likely to cheat because overall, men are more likely to
- 1:04:20say or to confess to cheating than women. So this is meaningless. This
- 1:04:27is absolutely a distortion of the situation. Yea, Um, so okay,
- 1:04:35let's just ignore that. That's that is another statistics are meaningless because there's they're
- 1:04:42just like these little nuggets out of like a broader conto. It also found
- 1:04:46it also found that religious beliefs and satisfaction and relationship correlate negatively with cheating.
- 1:04:53What a surprise. Yeah, okay, so this is whatever that means a
- 1:04:59lot more look into it and the methodology to figure out what's going on there.
- 1:05:02But it looks more like men just confess to cheating more. Um I
- 1:05:09I'm trying to figure out. Men and women who earn much larger salaries than
- 1:05:13their partner are also more likely to cheat. The study finds, although women
- 1:05:16are half is likely to cheat. So basically it's just women are less likely
- 1:05:19to confess to cheating. All right, that this is the finding. Let
- 1:05:25us move on from that, all right? Yes, Oh and also women,
- 1:05:30here's a correlation here. Women in the hosts households that stay at home
- 1:05:33more likely to be religious too. Yeah, I'm just gonna put that out
- 1:05:36there, all right, Let's keep going. Our core feminists scold men for
- 1:05:41not evolving fast enough. You mean just feminists, not necessarily hardcore one.
- 1:05:45Yeah, Like, I don't know why you're tend to scold men for about
- 1:05:49women tend to do that. But why should men's beliefs change when society constantly
- 1:05:56reinforces anachronistic ideals of masculinity. Okay, I've got to get in here.
- 1:06:00I've got to get in here. Men's role doesn't. Essentially, men's role
- 1:06:06is to provide stuff almost consistently throughout history. It's to provide for women,
- 1:06:12either protection if that's the necessary thing, or provision or both. So the
- 1:06:16men's role is to sacrifice to make sure women are okay, which makes one
- 1:06:23hundred percent sense in the context of pair bonding and child wearing. All right,
- 1:06:30that's their role. So when women say that men haven't evolved their role,
- 1:06:35so what you're saying is men haven't provided enough for women by changing into
- 1:06:41this other thing that women don't know what it is, because I don't think
- 1:06:45that women want to challenge the idea that men define themselves by providing and protecting.
- 1:06:49What's happened is that we have become so successful we can make it seem
- 1:06:55like men's provision and protection isn't We can be it. We're so successful,
- 1:07:00we can hide the gears of society from women. Basically, we can make
- 1:07:05it seem like women are living in a world where they aren't being protected and
- 1:07:10provided for, when in fact, they very much are because we are so
- 1:07:15successful that we can even afford drapes to hide the workmen. Basically, all
- 1:07:18right, now, how and now women are saying, well, what is
- 1:07:25men haven't figured out the new thing to protect and provide it, to visibly
- 1:07:28protect and provide us from. They've constructed all this weird shit like feminism.
- 1:07:32Women, men can protect us from patriarchal mind raise through feminism or some shit,
- 1:07:38But basically, this is it. What these women are saying is men,
- 1:07:43we feel like we are not being protected and provided for because we can't
- 1:07:46see the visible work of men doing so. So we need new things that
- 1:07:50men can protect and provide us for. That's not changing men's role or even
- 1:07:56challenging it. That's just asking for them to do it again in a different
- 1:08:00way. Like they say, it's like, okay, when you hire a
- 1:08:05guy to um remodel your kitchen and you're like, you know, I don't
- 1:08:13know if I like, uh a stained oak. I think I would prefer
- 1:08:17a more modern look. Can you do like a I think we were,
- 1:08:23Well, it's update it to to like I don't uh, painted painted panels
- 1:08:30or something. I prefer that you haven't actually changed his role. You've just
- 1:08:38asked for something new. Okay, he's still there remodeling your kitchen. Ladies,
- 1:08:45men are still there, and you're still viewing them in terms of providing
- 1:08:47and protecting. And incidentally, when you solely view men in terms of providing
- 1:08:53and protecting and they feel they're incapable of doing so, yeah, what happens
- 1:08:59to them? They think of themselves as useless and worthless, and they remove
- 1:09:05burden from society. They're the burden that they represent from society. So no,
- 1:09:11women are not demanding men change their role. They're demanding that men do
- 1:09:15some new thing. And incidentally, using my remodeling the kitchen metaphor more pushing
- 1:09:23it till it breaks, the woman who's hired the man to remodel her kitchen
- 1:09:28is basically saying, no, I don't like the stained oak. Can you
- 1:09:31do something that I would like? And then he's like, okay, what
- 1:09:35would that be, madam? And she's like, I don't know, try
- 1:09:40it and let's see. Good lord. And also I'm not paying you anymore
- 1:09:46for it. In fact, I'm paying you less because I'm not happy,
- 1:09:50Like, walk away, this is ridiculous. Just walk This may be the
- 1:09:58biggest ask anyone who's her, asked men, stop caring. She has her,
- 1:10:04she has her oak stained cabinets. Walk away, and I guess that's
- 1:10:12depressing. But whatever. Okay, all right, back to the article.
- 1:10:16Do you have any thank you to give? Oh? Yes I do.
- 1:10:20Good Um, doctor Voltaire Voltaire, I hope that's not your legal name,
- 1:10:28gives us twenty five dollars. Thank you, Voltaire, thank you. Has
- 1:10:31anybody said anything in the in the in the um the pole. Yeah,
- 1:10:39yes, we should continue this fundraiser with this article, so it's always well,
- 1:10:44I'll just continue the fundraiser, all right, okay, then I'll do
- 1:10:47some arm twisting. Um. Oh good lord. This is a very difficult
- 1:10:56one. Guys, so I have to figure out how to fucking care about
- 1:11:01yourselves. All right. We're never gonna stop talking about this. We're never
- 1:11:04gonna start, at least I'm not Brian wins the lottery. He might be
- 1:11:10out of here, but I'm just kidding for I think. But I'm never
- 1:11:15going to stop talking about this. You know, this is really critically important.
- 1:11:19Men need to know that you have worth, and like men, you
- 1:11:25need to know you have worth just just by being there. You have potential.
- 1:11:30You have the ability to take another step forward and improve your circumstance,
- 1:11:35improve your world if that's what you want. But know that you have worth.
- 1:11:42You're worth because you're a man, because you have the hormonal system that
- 1:11:45allows you to take risks. And maybe the biggest risk in your life will
- 1:11:50be to try to find value outside of being a beast of burden for women.
- 1:11:57But take it because because you deserve that. You deserve it for yourself.
- 1:12:04And if you can't do it for you, do it for me,
- 1:12:08Do it for Brian, do it for everybody who cares about men. Okay,
- 1:12:13and also consider, like I'm never gonna not You're not paying me to
- 1:12:17think this way, right, You're not paying me to look at this world
- 1:12:21and say, what the hell are we doing to men? Why don't we
- 1:12:26care about men? Why don't we give them what they need? When they
- 1:12:30they they fail to live up to our expectations, we give them like a
- 1:12:33soft place to land, Like you still have value, you know, try
- 1:12:36try to try the mountain again. You got this, Maybe not the mountain,
- 1:12:41Try something different. We don't do that. We say for protect and
- 1:12:45provide for women, or you're worthless. And then we say, but you
- 1:12:49also don't do that because you construct a society like we demand this of them
- 1:12:54and we gaslight men about it, and that you're not going to be paying
- 1:12:58for me because I will always think this way, because I walked through all
- 1:13:01of the evidence, and I came to this conclusion over a lot of research,
- 1:13:08analyzing every single argument that feminists make, that men are oppressive, that
- 1:13:14men aren't defined by caring about women are instead defined by oppressing them. And
- 1:13:18I have come to this not even from a position of I care about men,
- 1:13:23but simply from a position of what is reality? And you cannot argue
- 1:13:27me out of that without arguments. You can't do it by beating on me
- 1:13:30with insults. You can't do it by putting money in front of my face
- 1:13:35and saying, well, if you believe this, you'd actually have five times
- 1:13:41the salary in a freaking office in Manhattan. No, this is reality,
- 1:13:46and reality I'm not walking away from it. So you can't pay me to
- 1:13:51say these things. You can only pay me to say these things every day.
- 1:13:58Do you see the difference to be able to say these things every day,
- 1:14:01to be able to make sure that there's someone out there telling men that
- 1:14:06no, you're being gaslet. You actually are motivated by caring about women.
- 1:14:13You are motivated by protecting and providing women. You're being gaslet when feminists say,
- 1:14:17oh, men would construct the society for the benefit of men at the
- 1:14:21expensive women. Bullshit, This would never happen. Ever, this is gaslighting
- 1:14:28at the same time as feminists rely on the very construct that they say doesn't
- 1:14:33exist. Men caring about women. And there's nobody who could pay me to
- 1:14:38say this if this wasn't the truth. Nobody. I have repeatedly when people,
- 1:14:44when there are people who give us money and say, oh, well,
- 1:14:46will you do this or will you say this, I'm like, yeah,
- 1:14:48screw you know, take it back. I'll give you a refund.
- 1:14:54So you cannot pay me to say this this is what I believe, but
- 1:14:59you can make it easier for me to say this more often with more reach,
- 1:15:03and also have Brian here by my side making sure that I don't go
- 1:15:08completely insane. So please, if you want to make sure that I continue
- 1:15:13to have Brian, and Brian continues to do this work, and I continue
- 1:15:17to do this work, and everybody continues to do this work, please help
- 1:15:20us out and feed the Badger dot Com slash support because there needs to be
- 1:15:24a voice out there telling men that they are more than being a beast of
- 1:15:30burden and they are well. Even more importantly, to stop the gas lighting
- 1:15:41that men don't define themselves. Look at this article. Men don't define themselves
- 1:15:46as oppressors of women. They don't seek to be oppressors of women. They
- 1:15:50seek to be providers and protectors of women. And when they don't achieve that,
- 1:15:56they kill themselves. Think about that, and think about feminists saying the
- 1:16:00opposite. There has to be a voice out there as loud as possible,
- 1:16:06and I know that I struggle with trying to make this voice louder. Believe
- 1:16:12me, I don't know. Like every day I feel like shit that we
- 1:16:15don't have a larger audience, that we don't have more people listening to us,
- 1:16:19And I don't know how to make it bigger, make it happen so
- 1:16:24that we can we can reach more men with this message that it is absolute
- 1:16:29bullshit. If men are willing to kill themselves because they cannot provide a protect
- 1:16:32for women, how could you possibly ever entertain the idea that they would construct
- 1:16:39a society to harm women for their own benefit. Fuck this this is monstrous,
- 1:16:47This is unbelievably wrong, and it needs to be opposed. And like
- 1:16:53I said, every day I think about it and I'm like, God,
- 1:16:57I am failing because I can't make more men understand this. I can't reach
- 1:17:00more men, I can't get a bigger platform. I can't make more people
- 1:17:04understand how awful this is, how cruel this is. And you know,
- 1:17:13I feel like I think about it and I feel like I am constantly failing
- 1:17:21to make this, make this as big as it needs to be anyway,
- 1:17:30But if you want to make sure that we can at least continue at the
- 1:17:32size we are, please go to feed the Badger dot com slash support And
- 1:17:39yeah, that would be great, because as much as horrible as it is
- 1:17:43to wake up each morning and look and say, wow, this message,
- 1:17:47I don't know if it's the message or is it me? Am I doing
- 1:17:50everything wrong? I know what I'm capable of, and I know what I
- 1:17:56can apply myself to. I'm not really immediate person, and I'm a researcher
- 1:18:01more than a media person, right so I know that there's gaps in my
- 1:18:05skills. So I'm doing the best that I can. And I wake up
- 1:18:10in the morning, I always feel like I wish I could do more.
- 1:18:14Right, But at the very least I've done something ten years now that we've
- 1:18:18existed, and it would be great to continue to exist longer. So I
- 1:18:26mean, when I think about knowing that I wish I could do more and
- 1:18:30then facing not being able to do anything, not being able to do anything
- 1:18:33is terrifying. To having to walk away from this entirely would be terrifying.
- 1:18:42But anyway, so if you want to make sure we can continue to at
- 1:18:45least talk about these things, I mean, you're never going to be paying
- 1:18:47me to believe something, but you can pay me to continue to talk about
- 1:18:53it, feed the Badger, dot com, slash support, or be able
- 1:18:57to devote this much time to talking about it. All Right, there we
- 1:19:00go. There, there's your arm twisting. I tried to do it in
- 1:19:03such a way that wasn't Um mean, I don't know anyway, all right,
- 1:19:14Um, back to the article. I guess so, yes, back
- 1:19:17to the that's sorry, No, it's fine. Um all right, So,
- 1:19:27but why should men's beliefs change when society constantly society women constantly real I'm
- 1:19:33just you know, every time I see the word society. I'm just gonna
- 1:19:35say women, because whenever they say society or people or culture or something,
- 1:19:41they they're they don't, they're just trying to avoid saying women. So,
- 1:19:44but why should men's beliefs change when women constantly reinforce anachronistic ideals of masculinity.
- 1:19:49Case in point, at twenty seventeen Pew Research Center study found that seventy one
- 1:19:54percent of Americans believe, quote it is very important for a man to be
- 1:19:57able to support a family financially to be a good husband or partner, and
- 1:20:00quote only thirty two percent felt a woman's financial contribution to find her as a
- 1:20:04good partner. How was that question framed? Not even I'm not even going
- 1:20:10to go there, but I bet it's women that would probably agree with that
- 1:20:14and that men should be doing it. Well, yeah, I mean it
- 1:20:19was more men, they probably would have put that in there. Yeah,
- 1:20:23if it was if it was men, they would have said because it just
- 1:20:26says seventy one percent of Americans, right, So they didn't. Again,
- 1:20:29they didn't specify I'll read it again with my new replacement thing. So a
- 1:20:34twenty seventeen Pew Research study found that seventy one percent of women believe it is
- 1:20:39very important for a man to be able to support a family financially to be
- 1:20:42a good husband or partner. Only thirty two percent of women felt a woman's
- 1:20:45financial contribution to find her as a good partner. Actually more cents, doesn't
- 1:20:48it? Okay? All right? So actually you're not off, No,
- 1:20:55I know, because did the number seventy one percent of Americans actually is seventy
- 1:21:00one percent of women. Now seventy two percent of men believe it's important for
- 1:21:04men to be able to support a financial family financially. But do they believe
- 1:21:09it? Do these men believe it because that's what they want or because that's
- 1:21:14what they know women want? Right? Well, I mean, it is
- 1:21:18what women want. I've never even a girl boss say that she wants a
- 1:21:27husband who stays home clean, keeps the house clean, cooks dinner, and
- 1:21:31watches the kids. I've never heard it. And that they should be the
- 1:21:35ones carrying the burden. I mean, we already talked about the lazy girl
- 1:21:40job phenomenon that this woman was reporting on. I think it's just reality coming,
- 1:21:46you know, coming home to roost about about what women The difference between
- 1:21:50what women are told they want and what they actually want. So and I
- 1:21:57think that men know that if they let Like, I think the reason why
- 1:22:01most men are unhappy or are concerned about women that make more than them has
- 1:22:06everything to do with the woman becoming dissatisfied and leaving him. Then, and
- 1:22:13you know any kind of like self satisfying ego that feminists claim men have or
- 1:22:17making more, because if men are making more, it doesn't mean anything if
- 1:22:20they're giving most of what they're making to women. Oh you know it also
- 1:22:25doing the self satisfied ego for for protecting and providing women. You know,
- 1:22:30my dog is happy when he when he does a trick, and I'm happy
- 1:22:34with him, right, does that mean he's freaking and titled and he's egotistical?
- 1:22:40Like this is absolutely horrid. All men are taking pleasure and making sure
- 1:22:45that we're safe and provided for. How terrible, Like you, I have
- 1:22:51no slap that out of your mouth, ladies, Like I'm so fucking tired
- 1:22:59of it. Like that's just just sheer mendacity. It's like it's like saying,
- 1:23:09oh, a woman made a sandwich for look at look at how pleased
- 1:23:12and proud she is. She's oppressing him with Oh she's so she's so smug
- 1:23:17about her sandwich making abilities. Look at that she's luring it over him,
- 1:23:21Like, what the hell is your fucking until malfunction? Ladies, that she
- 1:23:27would even entertain this entertain feeling resentment that men take pride in being able to
- 1:23:33help you. M hmm, it is a mental illness. Back to the
- 1:23:42article. Sure, Unfortunately, any one percent of men with a high school
- 1:23:46education or less subscribe to this provider mentality. Sorry, while only sixty one
- 1:23:55men with a bachelor's degree believe the same. Probably whatever cons quickly, the
- 1:24:00men who most believe they should be breadwinners will also be the most likely to
- 1:24:03feel like failures. Well, you guys can continue to wrecking the economy by
- 1:24:12printing money that that will definitely help men feel better about themselves. And you've
- 1:24:16taken away the one thing that they want to do. And you know,
- 1:24:19and you don't even say fucking thank you? Have you said thank you to
- 1:24:25the man in your life at any point just for being good to you?
- 1:24:30In a perfect world, manhood will be equated with authenticity. Being a man
- 1:24:35should be defined by being your true self as long as your journey towards self
- 1:24:39actualization doesn't harm others read don't be a douchebag to get ahead. Okay,
- 1:24:43wait, define what does this even means? It's a feminine thing, honestly.
- 1:24:50Honestly, she's saying men need to men be to experience the world in
- 1:24:55a feminine way. That's authenticity, Like you, you're get to express your
- 1:25:00true self. Woman does is the perfect world version? I'm kennof. Isn't
- 1:25:10that basically the same thing? Isn't that the Barbie movie? That was?
- 1:25:14That was one of my issues with it because on the one hand, you
- 1:25:16could say, yeah, he shouldn't need her to complete him, But on
- 1:25:20the other hand, it seems like they're basically saying, you know, just
- 1:25:25be what you are and that's good enough. But that's not really the way
- 1:25:30it works. It's not. And you know what, maybe instead of us
- 1:25:33asking men to be more like women, how about we ask women to be
- 1:25:36more like men. How about we ask women to step the fuck up and
- 1:25:41stop looking in the mirror and saying I'm enough because that's not enough. Sorry,
- 1:25:45it's not. We have a lot of here and half the population is
- 1:25:49like looking at their own navel instead of getting involved and doing something positive.
- 1:25:55Anyway, they're getting involved in blaming men. Yeah, they're blaming men,
- 1:25:58and then they want men to be like them, and when they are like
- 1:26:01them, they complain about them anyway. So it's like, I think we're
- 1:26:04applying well, I think that the pressure is being applied the wrong way.
- 1:26:12I don't think it should be. Let me try to untangle that men should
- 1:26:15be thanked and there should be gratitude and grace given to them for what they
- 1:26:21do, and women should also be trying to get stuff, like like earning
- 1:26:27things. Yeah, should be trying to earn. That's how we all that's
- 1:26:31how we all rise. But they don't want better, No, they just
- 1:26:35want this. Yeah, they Well, in some ways the Ken enough message
- 1:26:42is a little bit toxic because it removes the idea of humans striving from it.
- 1:26:50Yeah, and you're right, Barbie like that. That one line really
- 1:26:55stuck with me, where Ken says and I want her to fight for me,
- 1:26:58and it's like, yes, that's the world we want. We want
- 1:27:00a world in which men fight for women and women fight for men. That's
- 1:27:04the world. That is freaking awesome, isn't it. That's an awesome thought.
- 1:27:10And they just blew through that and just ignored it well regardless. And
- 1:27:17then so at the end, what do we have a world in which nobody
- 1:27:21does fuck all for anyone? Like everybody is is she? Barbie is has
- 1:27:29a mirror and she's staring at her new fangled vagina, and Ken just wafts
- 1:27:34her life like a fart, like, yeah, no, this is not
- 1:27:40this is the Well, he's really the only one who's making a real effort
- 1:27:45because he's actually trying to deconstruct these She's essentially said, you were made for
- 1:27:50me, Now be because I find you annoying. Uh, go do something
- 1:27:55else. Yeah, And he has to unravel all of that, all of
- 1:28:00that inborn compulsion to focus on Barbie. He asked him take it away and
- 1:28:05remove it. Even though he was made to be her accessory, he has
- 1:28:11to he has to do the work to become a full man. And that's
- 1:28:14why I wonder, at one hand, Ken enough is that kind of statement
- 1:28:18like, oh, you're fine as you are. But within that, Ken
- 1:28:25has to overcome his own programming to fixate on Barbie. You see what I'm
- 1:28:31saying. Yea. So even though to become enough, he actually strive,
- 1:28:36has to strive to become better. So in the message to Ken, is
- 1:28:41still that idea that he has to strive and have engage in self mastery,
- 1:28:46and not even just self mastery, mastery over what he was, how he
- 1:28:51was created to be. Like he has to Oh, he has to transcend
- 1:28:56his own nature. Like I mean, there's this, like good lord,
- 1:29:00like this is the more interesting story? Really, how does Ken transcend his
- 1:29:03own nature? All he wanted in his life was Kara was Barbie's attention because
- 1:29:09he's her accessory. So he has to overcome that. So in saying he's
- 1:29:13Ken enough, he has to do something, he has to actually engage in
- 1:29:17a tremendous amount of self mastery. You know what I'm saying. Yea.
- 1:29:23So even in saying that to him, that is an aspirational role in an
- 1:29:29expectation placed on men to become better. Right, nothing is placed on Barbie
- 1:29:34because she's a woman. You can't really make women carry weight. They fold
- 1:29:39like kleenex. Um, they're too weak. Um. But you know,
- 1:29:44Barbie doesn't have anything to strive for, nothing at all? What they where?
- 1:29:49Where's the fucking change? How? What did she learn? Nothing?
- 1:29:53She learned that she wanted to giantist story. They learned that they were always
- 1:30:00awesome and that the world was just holding him back. Yeah, Ken has
- 1:30:05to learn that he needs to transcend himself and practice self mastery to overcome his
- 1:30:14inborn like this is he's made to have this, which is like, if
- 1:30:19you really think about it, it's really gross. Like he was created to
- 1:30:25be focused on Barbie and he is forced to overcome that because he's a man
- 1:30:30and that's how we view men, and he has to transcend that and become
- 1:30:33a better person quote unquote like that. So on the one hand, Ken
- 1:30:39Kennon enough, Ken enough, But on the other hand, he has to
- 1:30:43go through this internal journey of self mastery to even become Kennon enough, is
- 1:30:48what I'm getting at, Right, That's an interesting message. And then I
- 1:30:53don't know the woman, what does she do? She exists? Just like
- 1:30:58Joseph Campbell said, a woman doesn't need a hero's journey because she's she.
- 1:31:04All she needs to realize is that she's enough as she is, because she's
- 1:31:10the female. The female doesn't do anything, you see, the female just
- 1:31:14is and is perfect in the isness of being female. Also, I mean,
- 1:31:17what the hell are you going to ask? I'm gonna go on to
- 1:31:19hear his journey. By the definition of is is are you gonna have women
- 1:31:27go on a hero's journey? You're gonna have women engage in self mastery.
- 1:31:30They might develop actual individuality. You know that that What the hell would the
- 1:31:34society look like if men, if women fought for men? You know what?
- 1:31:39What what what would the world look like? It just be too weird,
- 1:31:43you know, women not on on it. Women just have to just
- 1:31:45have to put their finger up their twat and that's all that, that's all.
- 1:31:48That's the only journey they need. Yeah, y, all right,
- 1:31:54Um, I got another super chow. Thank you, John Taylor. Um,
- 1:32:04and John Taylor. He sent us a supertown. It's all caps,
- 1:32:09it's all in all caps, so I have to assume that, um he's
- 1:32:14doing. It's like a Trump tweet, so I gotta read it like that.
- 1:32:15So um for me, trame sixty four, just a few shekels in
- 1:32:23the hat. It's great to see HBr continue after ten years. Really great.
- 1:32:29You guys are still great, so great. Ask anybody, they'll tell
- 1:32:32you. Feeling courage Alison, I'm looking forward to dan years celebration show.
- 1:32:39Best wishes from Scotland. All right, thank you, John Taylor. If
- 1:32:44you put him in an all caps I'm gonna try and read them in a
- 1:32:45Trump voice because that's how he tweets or tweeted before. He was not as
- 1:32:53good in my opinion. But what he's not as good? I know truth
- 1:32:58Social is not as good because it's like spammed with all kinds of ads.
- 1:33:01It's I don't know, it's um. But isn't he back on Twitter?
- 1:33:08No? I think Elon Musk said he can come back, but he's like,
- 1:33:11I'm staying with truth. I think it's a fun superior of blat vine.
- 1:33:15But I mean whatever, it's fine. I just I'm not crazy about
- 1:33:17it myself. But okay, So I do have a thank you to give.
- 1:33:21Kenneth S gives us five dollars. Thank you, kenneth S. All
- 1:33:26that chilling, all that chilling. No, I appreciate it. Oh we'll
- 1:33:31take it. Yeah all right, um, but no, I really appreciate
- 1:33:35it. And thank you for putting a few more shekels in the hat to
- 1:33:39make to keep this running, to keep us choo choo chewing along. Oh
- 1:33:43god, I'm gonna slap myself for that. People smashed like for smash,
- 1:33:48like for Jojo and I'll I'll rub his tummy on camera. So if if
- 1:33:54you really want that, like maybe make a donation or smash like or something,
- 1:33:58I'll rub his belly. Graydon yours gives us another super child. Thank
- 1:34:01you great indoors so much, and um, twenty five dollars come a five
- 1:34:06dollars, so I guess that's it's twenty five to to this the Yeah,
- 1:34:13all right, cool, so thank you very much. That's really nice.
- 1:34:15Thank you, and says come as you are some feminist dead guy Kurt Cobain.
- 1:34:24He was a feminist basically. Yes, well look at who he was
- 1:34:29dating, fucking Courtney Love. Holy shit, that woman's actually I've had some
- 1:34:35of the death heads um comment that they think that Courtney Love strove this dude
- 1:34:42to suicide. Um, and he was abusive. I don't know, Yeah,
- 1:34:46I don't know. I'd have to look into it as a bit before
- 1:34:48my time. So I have a lot of pressure because like he wanted to
- 1:34:54just make He actually was trying to be like a pop star. He wanted
- 1:34:58to be popular, but he got sort of like, you know, he
- 1:35:02had the grunge thing going on, and people want it grunge to stay,
- 1:35:06like not sell out and I don't know. I thought there was a bunch
- 1:35:10of pressure about, like it's a stupid thing with music. I don't I
- 1:35:13don't get like people want, you know, they want people want to make
- 1:35:15money, and they want to become popular and they want to everybody hear there,
- 1:35:18you don't want to sell it. But if they they're too popular,
- 1:35:21then they're like traders. And so it's like a weird line that to have
- 1:35:27to walk if you care. Unless you're like Johnny Cash, you just don't
- 1:35:30get fuck, which I suggest though, Yeah, well, you know,
- 1:35:34probably was stressed about protecting and providing as men are, even as a successful
- 1:35:40grunge artist or as he was. Yeah, okay, so once again I'll
- 1:35:45just say we only have like so we're in sort of the last few hours
- 1:35:51of the fundraisers, So this is it, guys. If you are able
- 1:35:55to help, this is the time to do it. We have three hours
- 1:35:58remaining, six hundred and forty five thirty five dollars left, So whatever you
- 1:36:03can put in is greatly appreciated at this time because and really no time left,
- 1:36:09so now where never is um Because of the very generous support by one
- 1:36:15of our supporters initially we're probably not hurting too much, so we're not going
- 1:36:20to die if we don't make it. It's just a concerning, like,
- 1:36:24you know, if we don't make it, so a little concerning. That's
- 1:36:27all. So feed the badger dot com slash support and put a few shekels
- 1:36:31hat in the hat if you can, and let us continue on this lovely
- 1:36:35journey through this article. Okay, all right, m anyway, So but
- 1:36:44another Few Research Center study shines a harshoot of black light on masculinity. Researchers
- 1:36:48ask women and men where they found meaning, fulfillment and satisfaction. They found
- 1:36:54women found happiness through multiple sources, but men did not. It's like holl
- 1:36:58has subscribed those who find meaning through different social roles as having high self complexity.
- 1:37:03Again, psychology kind of bullshit. And women are the ultimate shape shifters.
- 1:37:10Of course they are. They're just better at life, guys. They're
- 1:37:14just better at it. Because we have these studies that prove that women are
- 1:37:17better at shit. Look, they've all been signed off and approved by a
- 1:37:21bunch of feminists and academic intellectual bullshit artists. But trust us. This is
- 1:37:28the science, and you have to trust the science, guys. Yes,
- 1:37:32psychology and therapy and education. It's a it's um, you know, safe
- 1:37:39and effective. Safe and effective. Yeah, safe and effective. Guys,
- 1:37:44don't don't. Don't mind the fact that most men who commit suicide did,
- 1:37:47in fact reach out to some some therapist or social worker or something or doctor
- 1:37:53prior to the suicide. That. Yeah, that that isn't evidence that maybe
- 1:37:56the system has a serious problem. It isn't actually serving men. That's evidence
- 1:38:00that men aren't feminine, and they're not they're doing something wrong. Must be
- 1:38:05the fault of the patient. Yeah, okay, but here's my more leeches.
- 1:38:11That's literally what we're doing. We need more leeches. Can you let
- 1:38:15me give you a tale and unresponsive? Yeah, the big leeches. Get
- 1:38:19the big leeches. Yeah, get me a booster leech. How many have
- 1:38:24you had? Um? Anyway? Okay, all right, let's not psych
- 1:38:32Okay, describe self high self complexity. We're gonna say something to that or
- 1:38:38um. Yes, right, men have a particular psychology. It is excellent
- 1:38:45for getting things done and creating an island where people are or men are having
- 1:38:50fun and enjoying helping, making life easier for each other and also easier for
- 1:38:56women. Okay, that's what men do. They get things done. They
- 1:39:00focus on getting things done, They focus on their actions. Right, Instead
- 1:39:04of saying, men, why don't you women, why don't we say?
- 1:39:10Hey, men have a particular type of psychology that's very valuable in and of
- 1:39:15itself. How can we structure helping them in such a way that they can
- 1:39:21be themselves and still receive what they need to no longer feel like a burden.
- 1:39:29In other words, how do we extend ourselves to help men rather than
- 1:39:35expecting men once again to take on the burden of changing themselves. Like literally,
- 1:39:43like this is what all this is. This is like bootstrapping psychology.
- 1:39:45It's so funny. Like all of the social justice warriors whatever you want to
- 1:39:49call them, they're all like, oh bootstrapping, it's it's it's conservatism.
- 1:39:54But what do they say to men? Yeah, men, men, you
- 1:39:58need to you need to boots drap yourself. You can't complain about anything.
- 1:40:00You just need to apply more masculine elbow grease. But it's not masculine,
- 1:40:04you see, women can do it just as much as men. So it's
- 1:40:09but you need to do more of it, even though we won't acknowledge you
- 1:40:12do more of it. Okay, so this is like, this is just
- 1:40:15more bootstrapping advice. No, Okay, men who are suicidal if they knew
- 1:40:20how to help themselves, they would. So what we need to do is
- 1:40:26start telling men all men like, stop gaslighting them about their inherent state being
- 1:40:33a burden on everyone. What do you think? Okay, you tell Okay,
- 1:40:39you have men they have a particular psychology that has difficulty with being a
- 1:40:45burden, right, and that's not a bad thing. Men constantly look towards
- 1:40:49what they can do, but then they get into these little blind spots,
- 1:40:53usually forced by external circumstances. They lose a source of their identity, and
- 1:40:59then we have a society telling them that they're only worth it well when they
- 1:41:03don't have any worth, when they're not actively helping another human being. They
- 1:41:06are a burden that's oppressing society. So that's their baseline, you know,
- 1:41:11and then they offer themselves. Okay, well how do we solve that.
- 1:41:15Well, one, let's stop saying that men's baseline is oppression. Hey,
- 1:41:20that men's baseline is being a burden on everyone else. Let's stop saying that.
- 1:41:27Maybe that will help with men not feeling like a burden feeling useless and
- 1:41:30worthless and killing themselves. Hey, they stop abusing them. But that's a
- 1:41:35thought instead of saying, oh men, you go go do and be like,
- 1:41:41why don't you have psychologies more like women? Which is really strange if
- 1:41:45you think about it, right, it's like women do this. Why don't
- 1:41:49you change your brain to be like a woman's brain? Well, hm,
- 1:41:54can we say that to trans people? Like you know, you're you're you're
- 1:41:58as transit trans woman. Why you know we're gonna say this to men?
- 1:42:01Why don't you change your brain to be more like a woman's brain? Can
- 1:42:04we say that to like a trans woman? Why don't you change your brain
- 1:42:08to be like a man's brain? Problem solved? And that's sarcasm for the
- 1:42:13cutube press censors because in both ways it's ridiculous because that's what they're saying.
- 1:42:17That's what they're saying to men here, change your brain. Yeah, why
- 1:42:24can't you men change your brain to have woman brain? Then you'd be fine.
- 1:42:28Of course, then we wouldn't have men be able to do all the
- 1:42:30utilities and everything else. And of course we can't say this to trans people.
- 1:42:35But do you see, like, of course we're not we have probably
- 1:42:40have a very few liberals in our audience. But do you understand that this
- 1:42:43is what you're saying? Okay, yeah, and if you don't say it
- 1:42:47to trans women, you don't say it to men. If you can't say
- 1:42:51to a trans woman, well why don't you just change your brains so you're
- 1:42:56more of a man, And you can't say it to a trans man,
- 1:42:59Well why don't you change your brain so you're more of a woman. Maybe
- 1:43:01you shouldn't say it to sists men, Well, why don't you change your
- 1:43:05brain so you're more of a woman. You're fucking tards? Oh god,
- 1:43:12sorry, I'm just really it's fine. I would like to officially say that
- 1:43:19the word tard refers to someone who has chosen retardation is a lifestyle, not
- 1:43:26actual people who have developmental delays, but someone who looked at the world and
- 1:43:31all the things that they could be and selected retard language. I know,
- 1:43:41Okay, back to the article. I don't I don't know how much longer
- 1:43:45I can go because I gotta show in like an hour and forty five minutes
- 1:43:47and I need to like feed the dog and other stuff, so um,
- 1:43:53take him out. But okay, black to where I was so, and
- 1:43:59women are the ultimate shape shifters. We find meaning through our roles as mother's,
- 1:44:02boss's, best friends, and wives. For example, forty three percent
- 1:44:05of women said children and grandchildren give their life meaning, but only twenty four
- 1:44:11percent of men said the same. Men find meeting in one role provider kind
- 1:44:15of a blanket statement, but okay. Liberal solution is to castigate men as
- 1:44:20having toxic masculinity, while conservatives want to turn back the clocks on women's rights,
- 1:44:25as if equality is a zeros on game. Neither approach works. Bullshit
- 1:44:30on the second one. No, they don't, don't don't bother yes,
- 1:44:34wait wait, wait, I think what they want. What they're saying is
- 1:44:38they want a conservatives focus on women's role as a wife and mother. Okay,
- 1:44:44yeah, but that's not the same as turning black back to clocks on
- 1:44:46women's rights. Well, they also like Honestly, what conservatives really need to
- 1:44:53do is stop fucking laurund with any kind of prescriptive role. We need to
- 1:44:59fix the like Specifically, we need to fix how men and women are viewed
- 1:45:03and the relationship between the two. If you fix that, everything else will
- 1:45:09fall out naturally. Okay, Okay, well, that looks like stop saying
- 1:45:18that men oppress women, or would oppress women, or construct a society to
- 1:45:24oppress women. That's the distortion in the relationship between men and women. You
- 1:45:28don't have to care about whether or not a woman marries a men and becomes
- 1:45:31a career wife, career woman, and she's he's a stay at home Okay,
- 1:45:35we don't have to care about any of that. The only thing we
- 1:45:39need to fix now is this gas lighting of men and women to be honest,
- 1:45:45to view the baseline of men as oppressive to women. That's it,
- 1:45:51like, we don't have to judge each other for you know, women don't
- 1:45:57have to judge other women for how they've extu their lives as long as those
- 1:46:02women are fighting for their men, Get what I'm saying. As long as
- 1:46:09the career woman, you know, it feels like she's doing this to better
- 1:46:15her family and her partner, what's the problem. You know, as long
- 1:46:20as the homemaker feels like she's doing this to better her family and her partner,
- 1:46:25what's the problem. There's none. Ye, we don't have to have
- 1:46:29this argument about how women arrange their their their their lives, or men for
- 1:46:34that matter. As long as men and women are fighting for each other,
- 1:46:40That's what I'm getting at. That's what I meant. Yeah, I got
- 1:46:42it, Okay, I mean that's where I'm at. Like, I know,
- 1:46:46maybe conservatives would disagree, I think at this point, Like, I
- 1:46:50don't really even think there's a conservative basis for for not seeing like I don't
- 1:46:57even think that the conservatives would necessarily the whole idea of a woman staying at
- 1:47:02home and have and everything being done by machines is a Hollywood and industrial fantasy
- 1:47:10that isn't a conservative approach. I've even said this to conservative women, like,
- 1:47:15you know, in the Bible, you're supposed to be materially productive in
- 1:47:19either running a farm or a small business, to assist your health, to
- 1:47:24provide materially for your family. Right, So there's there's no like, there's
- 1:47:28no there's no reason to believe that conservatives would put women back in the house.
- 1:47:33Um or if that or that is a Christian sentiment. Instead, what
- 1:47:39it seems that the Christian sentiment is is that men and women should be providing
- 1:47:45for the family and protecting the family both. That's that's that they should be
- 1:47:51seeing themselves in terms of you know, living a godly life and providing and
- 1:47:57protecting for their children. Yeah, that's the Christian sentiment, not you know
- 1:48:02whether or not the woman sits on silk pillows or entire fucking life, you
- 1:48:08know anyway, the idle hands or the devil's work after all? Okay,
- 1:48:14all right, anyway, Um, so liberal solution is casting a man as
- 1:48:19having toxic masculinity. What conservatives wants to turn back the clocks on women's rights
- 1:48:23as if equality is a zero, zero sum game. Neither approach works.
- 1:48:28But here's the real problem. We dismantled masculinity and didn't leave a blueprint to
- 1:48:31build the new digs or to put a finer point on this debate, Therapist
- 1:48:36Jonathan Decker, let me just look find out who this is, because I
- 1:48:41bet it's a feminist poisted positive that limiting masculinity, not toxic masculinity, is
- 1:48:45to blame for this mess. That's not masculinity, is just another way of
- 1:48:50saying toxic masculinity. Let's be right. Okay, Well, the idea of
- 1:48:59that at uh, men is limited. It's the man box that men have
- 1:49:05to behave a certain way, and it limits their ability to be men because
- 1:49:10it asked them to be all of the toxic things. It's the same argument,
- 1:49:14Alison, They're just they're just rebranding it. Yeah, the same thing
- 1:49:17is at the very least they have are starting. If this is the case,
- 1:49:21they are starting to walk away from the toxic masculinity. I also point
- 1:49:26out that, and and they of course would resist this. The thing that
- 1:49:32opposes limiting masculinity is make Tao men going their own way. Yeah, it's
- 1:49:40that's that. That's literally what this is. Yep. Like if you if
- 1:49:45you are going to say, well, men should take more of an identity
- 1:49:48from other things, from them providing and protecting for women, I agree.
- 1:49:55Agree, men do need to start, you know, making their friendships and
- 1:50:01supporting other men a priority in their life and seeing themselves more in terms of
- 1:50:06that, I agree. And I am not going to say that they need
- 1:50:10to engage in any kind of homoerotic dance off like Barbie, but at the
- 1:50:15very least like, um, yeah, that's that's a good thing, to
- 1:50:18start centering other men and and being motivated by the idea that. I mean,
- 1:50:25I don't think it's that unnatural for men either. So again, look
- 1:50:29at the Survivor Island. Like the men were just they were they were having
- 1:50:32fun, they were doing their thing. I mean, there was this one
- 1:50:34guy who was who was being ostracized a bit because he was more creative and
- 1:50:39he didn't go fishing. Initially, he just worked on this net, but
- 1:50:42then then his net panned out and everybody was was cheering him. Right,
- 1:50:45So they but they were all doing these things, and they were happy to
- 1:50:51do them, and as far as I could tell, they were enjoying the
- 1:50:56fact that they were making each other's lives easier. And they were just men
- 1:51:00just hanging out and making each other's lives easier. That's it, you know,
- 1:51:04Joe needs I don't a rock. Whatever Ted goes gets the rock.
- 1:51:10That kind of thing. I'm simplifying because I can't think of anything off the
- 1:51:13top of my head, but you know what I mean. And so obviously
- 1:51:15men can do this. And then we swing over to the female side of
- 1:51:19the Island's crow flies off, squawking and dark and women are glorious. They
- 1:51:30are miserable. Why are they miserable because they don't take any pleasure and helping
- 1:51:39each other and making their time easier. They're all wanting to control or to
- 1:51:45make sure that nobody's getting anything more than anybody else. They can't fucking cooperate.
- 1:51:53Like, that's the other thing that men's risk taking nature does. It
- 1:51:56gives them a higher It gives them the ability to cooperate on a higher level.
- 1:52:00Now, part of it might be that, you know, these are
- 1:52:02women that are been sort of brainwashed into the Western bullshit. You know,
- 1:52:09you might have seen a very different situation if you'd chosen like more women from
- 1:52:15a maybe not a tribe, but you know, agricultural women or peasant women
- 1:52:20or something like that. But still it's really stark. The men were happy,
- 1:52:27they were happy to do things, they were happy to help each other.
- 1:52:29The women were arguing over who needs to do what, And then there
- 1:52:34was like there's always the one woman who's willing to do something, who's just
- 1:52:39it's a little bit more masculine and is willing to make the effort like I
- 1:52:42always was, and she's just run to death. This is why the whole
- 1:52:46radical feminist lesbian utopia is like horrifying to me, because I've always been the
- 1:52:53one woman who lifts the shit that needs to be moved, or does the
- 1:52:57unpleasant task it shovels the or whatever I'm not just sitting on my ass letting
- 1:53:02men do it like I've seen women do over and over again. And I
- 1:53:05know that in a woman in lady hell, I'm going to be the one
- 1:53:11who's unplugging the toilet, picking up the vomit, you know, shoveling the
- 1:53:15trenches, and moving everybody's fucking furniture. And believe me, I don't consider
- 1:53:21other women to be a reward. I may be by, but I'm not
- 1:53:29that by all right. But but that's the thing, Like, it's men
- 1:53:35I think have that ability to cooperate and enjoy making life easier for each other.
- 1:53:44Women have the ability to say you girl, girl, yes, queen,
- 1:53:46lean in, boss, bitch, And then they don't even have the
- 1:53:53ability to not not lie or not backstab each other behind the back, you
- 1:54:00know. So it's it's like, and I'm I'm I don't know if it's
- 1:54:04inherent or if it's just a Western woman thing. Okay, okay, I'm
- 1:54:11gonna I'm digression. Sorry, Yeah, it's fine. So Jonathan Decker positive
- 1:54:16that limiting masculinity is not toxic. Masculinity is to blame for this mess.
- 1:54:19In other words, how we define masculinity is too narrow, which is basically
- 1:54:25the same argument as toxic masculinity. Trapped by these impossible ideologies, it's not
- 1:54:30impossible. It's no wonder that young men turn to harmful influencers like Andrew Tate,
- 1:54:34ding Ding ding Ding, Joe Rogan ding Ding Ding ding U, and
- 1:54:39Jordan Peterson. Yes, because those three guys are exactly the same. These
- 1:54:44carnival barkers hawk their version of masculinity as magical lilloxers, or even worse,
- 1:54:47they frame masculinity as aggression, risk taking, violence, and sexism. Absolutely
- 1:54:54not true. Whenever a group becomes disenfranchised, the void we feel by the
- 1:55:00loudest and often ugliest voices. And then there's a quote from Chris Rock that
- 1:55:05should be a wake up call. Uh, only women, children and dogs
- 1:55:09are loved unconditionally. A man has only loved under the condition that he provides
- 1:55:13something. Chris Rock. Okay, I'm surprised they haven't included Jordan Peterson?
- 1:55:18Are they? Did you not hear what I said? Oh? Oh,
- 1:55:23shoot, you're right, You're including no Jordan. It's Andrew Tate, Joe
- 1:55:30Rogan, and Jordan Peterson. You know you know what's really going on here,
- 1:55:36right? Guys. I mean, like this should be really obvious.
- 1:55:39This has been going on ever since, like but basically ever since Jordan Peterson.
- 1:55:44You could say, maybe I don't know if they were doing this Joe
- 1:55:46Rogan before that, but basically there are there are men out there talking about
- 1:55:51men unapologetically, like to some degree acknowledging the realities. I mean, there's
- 1:55:58stuff that Joe Rogan has said that I don't like. I agree with that
- 1:56:00one hundred percent. I'm not putting him on a pedestal. There's stuff that
- 1:56:03Peterson has said that I didn't like, and there' stuff that Tate has said
- 1:56:05that I didn't like either. Agreed one hundred percent. Guys, they're not
- 1:56:10Karen, I get it. But they are talking about men in a way
- 1:56:14that is just maybe marginally sympathetic, and they are somewhat, if not very
- 1:56:23against feminism. And that's what they're threatened by because those men are popular.
- 1:56:28They're very popular. That's the reality. Joe Wigan's podcast is the biggest one,
- 1:56:32right. Peterson is huge. He's starting his own online university, probably
- 1:56:35a university that men should probably look into, honestly, you know, and
- 1:56:41Tate was the most google man in the world for a while. I guess
- 1:56:44according to him, I don't know, so, Like, the reality is
- 1:56:47they're popular, and these people they don't know what to do because they can't
- 1:56:51control them. And that's what it comes down to. So I think that
- 1:56:58this is what's happening, Like Pearl is gonna be They're gonna do it to
- 1:57:01her basically everyone. Not the women who play nice, not the romas that
- 1:57:06basically say well, I'm a feminist, and the men's rights not those bitches,
- 1:57:11okay, but the people who go after like the gad flies, the
- 1:57:15people who call the shit out, the people who push the envelope, the
- 1:57:17people that are at the you know, that are somewhat pressing against like the
- 1:57:23Overton window. They're the ones that will be targeted if they become popular.
- 1:57:27When they're not, they're ignored, but then they you know, eventually it's
- 1:57:31gonna happen. So this is that's what this whole article is about, is
- 1:57:34that men are in trouble, but the people who are actually doing anything good
- 1:57:40for men are not the right people to do stuff. It should be us.
- 1:57:43We should basically be bombarding them with more of the same shit that we've
- 1:57:46done for the past one hundred plus years. That's what needs to happen.
- 1:57:50That's where we're at and that and that's what I'm gonna push for it.
- 1:57:54That's literally why they're rebranding it and calling it a different thing. No,
- 1:57:58no, no, If this isn't toxic macular, that's oh so old hat,
- 1:58:00so abusive, so wrong. We're calling it limited masculinity. It's very
- 1:58:05different, but it's the same. It's the same. Yeah, Well,
- 1:58:09because they won't acknowledge what it genuinely means. Yeah, of course, what
- 1:58:14what are you saying here? You're saying that men need to look beyond providing
- 1:58:18and protecting women as a source of an identity. You mean men, he
- 1:58:24need at least maybe not maybe not full men going their own way, but
- 1:58:29at least partially going their own way, right, And that's and the irony
- 1:58:33is why are they doing this? Are they doing this because they want men
- 1:58:38to be living healthier lives, being happier, uh, you know, knowing
- 1:58:42themselves more and being stronger, like emotionally stronger. Or are they doing that
- 1:58:47because they're just don't want women to have to do anything to take any responsibility
- 1:58:54fight for men at all. Well, look, that's Okay, oh my
- 1:58:58god, he's got his chew. Sorry. Yeah, yeah, it's like
- 1:59:01a pork thing, Joe, Joe, take him out now. He's becoming
- 1:59:09restless because he wants to go out. So I'll have your chew, little
- 1:59:13bud enjoy it. I'll look at that. I had to use the chew
- 1:59:20to bribe him to stick around barking at me. So, um, all
- 1:59:28right, okay, so I just want to like again, we have like
- 1:59:30I think three hours left. Still maybe it's just two hours, all right,
- 1:59:38So yeah, if you know we still have three hours left. At
- 1:59:43the top of the hour, we're gonna have two hours left. So if
- 1:59:45you are able, please do help out by going to feed the badger doll
- 1:59:48cam slash the port and make sure that we able, we are able to
- 1:59:51continue. Since the the poll said for me to do this, I will
- 1:59:56do it. Um. We only exist because you guys, well, we
- 2:00:00only exist in this form and continue to exist because you guys brought us.
- 2:00:03And you know if in the comments you have some idea of how we can
- 2:00:09somehow I know you've talked about having like shorter content. Yeah, shorter content
- 2:00:15takes more time. It doesn't just take more time, it doesn't have that
- 2:00:18sense of community. You know, I can do shorter content. I've done
- 2:00:23shorter content, got a lot of attention. Then I sacrifice the attention to
- 2:00:27write my book because I think it's more critical to actually give people story about
- 2:00:31how to get out of this mess than it is to constantly be like,
- 2:00:34yep, this is a mess. Oh, by the way, did you
- 2:00:39know this is a mess? I mean, how many times do you say
- 2:00:42the obvious? Yeah, conservatives everybody else? You gave defining the relationship between
- 2:00:50men and women to a bunch of radical lesbian separatists and you thought that wouldn't
- 2:00:59create a mess somehow, or maybe you just didn't care, Like I don't
- 2:01:04understand how that happened, but whatever, where this is where we are.
- 2:01:08It's sort of like giving the captaincy of of a gigantic tanker to somebody who's
- 2:01:17incredibly drunk and being like, yeah, that that's gonna work out. Well
- 2:01:23it didn't. I don't know who made this decision, but I hope you're
- 2:01:28you're thinking about it and regretting it. So number one thing that I think
- 2:01:33that we talk about is don't give defining the relationship between men and women to
- 2:01:41radical lesbian separatists. And once you've done that and you've realized, hey,
- 2:01:49whoa, whoa wait wait wait no, actually I think this has been a
- 2:01:54mess, you actually have to stop agreeing with them, right, this is
- 2:02:00critical. You have to stop listening to them, because even conservatives are still
- 2:02:08listening to how feminists, and pretty much is all feminists now, how feminists
- 2:02:15frame the relationship between men and women. You're still listening to them, and
- 2:02:23as long as you listen to them, you are going to live within their
- 2:02:27world and their rules. Okay, So the only thing you can do to
- 2:02:32exit the world that is currently becoming a mess, a trash fire, is
- 2:02:41to exit the story in which men oppress women and that is their primary defining
- 2:02:49characteristic as men. Gotta leave that, you gotta don't. I wouldn't worry
- 2:02:55about, you know, some small group of women or trans women be having
- 2:03:00access to women's bathrooms. Really unlikely, anything's gonna don't. I would consider
- 2:03:04that to be a very minor issue. Also, how women structure their lives
- 2:03:10also a very minor issue. You're fighting about these petty ass problems when you
- 2:03:15have completely seeded control over the relationship between men and women and its public perception
- 2:03:24to lunatics. Okay, and you are choosing battles that you think are important,
- 2:03:32but they are not. All right, I don't know how many people
- 2:03:38have insulted, but there you go. Support us. We can insult you
- 2:03:42more. Okay, I got a super child. Two super childs actually,
- 2:03:50so thank you to who is that? Safe? Demon gives us five bucks
- 2:03:58thank you, and great endure gives us ten dollars and says. When my
- 2:04:05sister went to college, she quit after finishing her prop year, even though
- 2:04:13she was best in class. Why because she did all the work for projects
- 2:04:16while certain classmates were celebrating long weekends in Paris. She immediately started working for
- 2:04:23a company in nineteen ninety six, worked her way up and never looked back
- 2:04:26at college since. Oh, and she earns more than her husband. They
- 2:04:30both don't care. I've never heard of her. Her or my mother bloviate
- 2:04:33about feminism. Well, I mean, as long as you're satisfied, that's
- 2:04:39fine. I'm just but I think that I think that the problem is is
- 2:04:43that a large number of women, perhaps a majority, want husbands that make
- 2:04:47more than them, but they also want to be boss bitches at the same
- 2:04:50time, and obviously these two things can't coexist, so that's I think,
- 2:04:57going to create a problem. I don't think that's wh particularly unique. Yeah,
- 2:05:02I don't think that's his point. I think he's just saying he might
- 2:05:05actually be taking off of my point that I don't want to live in Lady
- 2:05:09Hell because I'll be the one is doing all the fucking work. Yea.
- 2:05:15Honestly, I think the women who who actually are in these positions and actually
- 2:05:19are doing the work do not want Lady Hell either, and they know that
- 2:05:25Lady Hell exists. But anyway, so, um, I think I have
- 2:05:30one thank you to give to zoo Am who gives us twenty five dollars and
- 2:05:34hopefully not your legal name, zoo Am, thank you. We are very
- 2:05:39close to let's see how much do we have left? Um, thank you
- 2:05:44very much. That's really nice. Thank you. Uh, what the heck?
- 2:05:49Oh? So we are six hundred and ten? Can we get it?
- 2:05:54Can we get it down into the five hundreds of there guys? Anyway?
- 2:05:58So um again, three hours remaining feed the Badger dot com slash just
- 2:06:01the tip uh and uh, yeah, I will let's finish this off because
- 2:06:05I think we're over two hours now. Yep, okay. In researching this
- 2:06:15piece, I pulled over twenty male friends with the following question, what does
- 2:06:18it mean to you to be a good provider? Oh? Friends, that's
- 2:06:23great. Many of my friends shrugged off the question and gave evasive replies about
- 2:06:28being gainfully employed and wearing clean underwear. But some of my friends are deep
- 2:06:31thinkers. We're an asshole. What's wrong with being gainfully employed and wearing green?
- 2:06:38I mean, you know, it's funny women hated women joke around with
- 2:06:42stuff. Julius is such a man, a mass of paradoxes that would confuse
- 2:06:47most women. He is artistic, poetic, sensitive and composed, silent,
- 2:06:51silent at moments, talkative at others. He is what women would call the
- 2:06:56dark and mysterious type. No, what are you talking about? Paradoxes?
- 2:07:02Okay, Well, she's she's she just has the hots for him. Yeah,
- 2:07:06she's just trying to make him sound complex. Julius also served in Iraq.
- 2:07:12Today. He is a suicide survivor who battles PTSD. No, Julius
- 2:07:16asked me to use his real name. He counsels ex military suffering from PTSD.
- 2:07:21Is very open about his battle with depression. Okay, so a dude
- 2:07:25who has gone to the very limits of human existence and stared into the abyss
- 2:07:31is capable of um not being as concerned by civilian identities. Okay, all
- 2:07:38right, well I guess that's the answer there, guys. Okay, he
- 2:07:42looks keep going, all right. Julius smiles with an insociate grin when I
- 2:07:49ask him how he defines being a good provider and replies, men play this
- 2:07:55game of appearing confident, headstrong, and apathetic, while women must appear the
- 2:07:58opposite demure of all blah blah. Oh boy, now you're Julius sounds like
- 2:08:03an asshole. By the way, it's ridiculous that society accepted this. Society
- 2:08:07okay, let me start over. It's ridiculous that women accepted this sexist way
- 2:08:11of thinking, even though everyone states on their dating profile, I'm looking for
- 2:08:16an honest, caring, intelligent man. These are qualities that we see in
- 2:08:20women, not in men, and yet the hypocrisy lives on and basically,
- 2:08:24what the hell is he saying? It's kind of yeah, I mean,
- 2:08:28it's not deep, it's just it's just confusing. It's like Bob Dylan lyrics.
- 2:08:33They played his game of appearing company and it's strong and I as aesthetic,
- 2:08:37well, women must be the opposite. It does. It's this is
- 2:08:43like this is like the speech at the end of the Barbie movie. It's
- 2:08:46just ridiculous. All it is is people saying like men are not behaving enough
- 2:08:52like women, and it's women's fault because it is women. It's women that
- 2:08:56do that. Like that's all it is. Like I'm just I'm so bored
- 2:09:01of this same thing being regrets stated over and over and over. Society.
- 2:09:05No, women, stop saying society when you know you mean women. Women
- 2:09:11are the ones that set the bar. Men try to achieve it if men
- 2:09:16are not doing that to each other. And then when and in the cases
- 2:09:20where men are doing that to each other, they're doing that because they're trying
- 2:09:24to help those men find women. Yeah, Like that's honestly, like a
- 2:09:28lot of the whole messaging around this from man to man is probably pro social.
- 2:09:33They're just being like, Okay, you know, I regret to inform
- 2:09:37you gentlemen women, so let us let us just deal with realities here.
- 2:09:43Let me try to help you give you the advice you need to deal with,
- 2:09:48you know, women. Yeah, and they're demands you know, like
- 2:09:54it might just be guys are like, yeah, this is something that we
- 2:09:56can't change, so let's help each other out and managing it. And then
- 2:10:01we turn around and blame men for the existence of the thing that they are
- 2:10:05dealing with, like, yeah, it's toxic masculating. No, this is
- 2:10:13men helping each other deal with what women ask from them. And Jesus Christ,
- 2:10:18what what I don't get why this is such a controversial statement. Selective
- 2:10:24pressure exists in sexually reproducing animals. It's supplied by the female, usually on
- 2:10:33the mail to some degree. It's also applied the other way, maybe not
- 2:10:37to the same degree, because you don't see a lot of elaborately colored female
- 2:10:41animals with gigantic survival handicaps on their heads, right, So there's selective pressure
- 2:10:50put on male animals by female animals, maybe not so much. In paara
- 2:10:54bonding, men are like, these are the selective pressures that women put on
- 2:10:58men. I want men, How can I help this young man live up
- 2:11:03to those selective pressures so that he might reproduce? That's actually really pro social,
- 2:11:09you know, I think that mostly like that if you look at the
- 2:11:11feminists, that the attitude is more like, how can I sabotage every other
- 2:11:16man? So I get all the pussy, at least in terms of my
- 2:11:18psychololics, like my my fantasies to myself. You know, I don't know.
- 2:11:24I feel like I've gone into the weeds. Oh no, it's fine.
- 2:11:28Jo JoJo's like climbing up on me because he wants me to feed him.
- 2:11:31But yeah, okay, so we got to stop. Well, I'm
- 2:11:35almost done. Let me just finish this, okay, all right, all
- 2:11:39right. Sadly many men do not survive this hypocrisy. But if we don't
- 2:11:43teach our sons that there is more than one way to be a good man,
- 2:11:46some may choose to be bad men. Others work, we can do
- 2:11:48better. We owe to our sons to at least try. Okay, you're
- 2:11:52not okay, see for effort. I guess no. If same shit,
- 2:12:03just the same, say same shit all the time, I don't. I
- 2:12:07don't. I don't like men as they are. They should change. That's
- 2:12:11the whole thing. Men are not fine as they are be able to.
- 2:12:13It's like, if you really care about men's suicide, stop saying to men
- 2:12:18that their baseline being is a burden to everybody. Especially since there's nothing.
- 2:12:26I can't emphasize this enough. Guys like the patriarchy narrative. Specifically, this
- 2:12:31narrative that men would construct society for their own benefit at the expensive women for
- 2:12:35no other reason than their own benefit, is not scientific. It's been disproved
- 2:12:43in multiple times. It has no predictive value. If you want to believe
- 2:12:46in weird shit, believe in telepathy because it's more scientifically valid than this.
- 2:12:54I'm not kidding. I'm a woo person. You know that I'd be okay
- 2:12:56with that, but I'd really annoy me. Like there's I mean people scientists
- 2:13:03who be like, oh hah, extraordinary climbs require extraordinary effort or evidence when
- 2:13:09it comes to telepathy because like in terms of regular science, it's been proven.
- 2:13:13They totally are like, oh but yeah, baptism a patriarchy. That's
- 2:13:18a thing that told you apply the same standard to these assertions. Please,
- 2:13:24how apply even a civil law standard to the assertions that feminists make about men?
- 2:13:31And they fail? These assertions have no validity, They are not factual,
- 2:13:37and yet we continue to perpetuate them. Why. I have an answer,
- 2:13:46but I will not give it to you now because that would that would
- 2:13:48require Jojo sitting for a long time, and he does not want to sit.
- 2:13:50He looks like a dog that wants to go. He is kind of
- 2:13:54anxious. He wants me to feed him. I gave him that bit of
- 2:13:58like chew because I wanted him the like get a snack. He's but I
- 2:14:01got to feed him his food food. So okay, all right, So
- 2:14:05I'm gonna thank Richard b or Bier for giving us a hundred bucks. Thank
- 2:14:11you, Richard, Thank you Richard. Uh, this one mosh spoon is
- 2:14:16too big. And I'd also like to thank Brendan Holland. Oh, Brendon
- 2:14:24h that. I don't know if that's a goodness. Yeah, I doubt
- 2:14:31think that's fifty dollars. Yes, Brendon h for fifty dollars. Um,
- 2:14:46No, that's that's obviously not a real name. Um if you say it
- 2:14:50out in full. So okay, uh. And we are at um four
- 2:15:00thousand and two hundred and thirty. So we got four hundred and sixty left,
- 2:15:03four and sixty dollars left, so hopefully we'll make that in the next
- 2:15:09three hours after the show is done. Are we done? We are done?
- 2:15:11Right, We're done? Yeah, I'm sorry, but I got a
- 2:15:15show in like an hour, so yes, I know, I'm really sorry
- 2:15:18about this. I'm sorry about this, like I mean, hopefully won't get
- 2:15:22there. So yeah, so anyway, if you would like to help us
- 2:15:26out once again, it's feed the Battery dot com slash support. I would
- 2:15:28like to thank all of our very generous supporters for making this show happen every
- 2:15:33month and uh and hopefully we will continue until somebody else sees some like immedia
- 2:15:39personality starts taking over our stick, you know, like maybe we can hand
- 2:15:45the baton to somebody like a Joe Rogan, except one that you know,
- 2:15:52really questions, Yeah, the what this narrative is doing to our society,
- 2:15:58like really understands that. You know, you hand the doubt defining men and
- 2:16:05women over to a bunch of women who hate men, and the result is
- 2:16:11subpar, shall we say, you know, who the hell decided this?
- 2:16:18You know, I don't think it was a decision. I think we just
- 2:16:20sort of fell into this. Well, you know, maybe next time we
- 2:16:26need to be a little bit more conscious about these things. Maybe next time
- 2:16:28we need to think more carefully about who gets to define this very critical relationship
- 2:16:35in our society, because it seems like when we just sort of half ass
- 2:16:39it and fall into it and then just give it to the first homeless lunatic
- 2:16:45who rolls up, you know, we don't get a very good outcome from
- 2:16:48it. This isn't something we can just hand to people who just say,
- 2:16:52yeah, I'll take that off your hands. Now, maybe maybe we should
- 2:16:54have a vetting process. And the first question is do you hate men?
- 2:17:00Ah? Well, let's look at your Twitter's history. Oh, yes you
- 2:17:05do. Well, yes, I don't think you've disqualified yourself from defining the
- 2:17:09relationship between men and women. Something bad might happen if you do no.
- 2:17:15No, Instead it's like no, yeah, I just do that whatever.
- 2:17:18Whoever wants to take this task on, how about it? And then we're
- 2:17:24living with the consequences now. Okay, so going forward, we can learn
- 2:17:31from this, and what we can learn is that we need to be very
- 2:17:35careful who we give defining the relationship between men and women. Two, we
- 2:17:43need a vetting process and we need to make sure it's not a person who
- 2:17:48hates or people who hate men or want to blame men to make money.
- 2:17:52Okay, So anyway, if you want to make sure that that message doesn't
- 2:17:56disappear in the way like dust and the wind. Please go to feed the
- 2:18:03Badger dot com slash support got three hours left at this moment. I will
- 2:18:07double check to see if anybody has put anything through. All right, there's
- 2:18:11any final anything. Nope. So all right, Brian, you gotta get
- 2:18:16going. Okay, Well, hopefully we'll get there for all the support I
- 2:18:22gave Jojo pats Um were you talking? So if you guys like I did
- 2:18:33it again? What he's gonna start parking now? What? Okay? No,
- 2:18:37I'm gonna I'm gonna be okay. Um, if you guys whoa watch
