- 0:03Speaker 1: It's a podcast call twenty five whist and they go
- 0:09Speaker 1: whist So, yeah, it's too bad, But what did you expect.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles, whine.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Wine, blow it, thank you. Yeah. I put the camera
- 0:23Speaker 2: on my phone to watch the baby because I didn't
- 0:27Speaker 2: we have a monitor at the house. And then Caylen
- 0:31Speaker 2: keeps on her phone. It's like, I don't even know
- 0:33Speaker 2: my phone. I'm always gonna be like checking in watching it.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm just checking in and watching it all
- 0:38Speaker 2: the time.
- 0:38Speaker 3: That's great. Well, did you have a problem with that? Like,
- 0:41Speaker 3: does you feel like you're.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I want to talk to the baby sometimes because I
- 0:44Speaker 2: got all things you can talk to. Again, I'm told
- 0:45Speaker 2: not to do that. Yeah, I want to be like hello.
- 0:47Speaker 3: And does it sound like you or does it sound
- 0:49Speaker 3: like a robot? Well, speakers can't be great. They're not great.
- 0:52Speaker 2: But my wife the other day, I was up with
- 0:54Speaker 2: the baby in the middle of the day and she
- 0:57Speaker 2: started talking to me on It scares the crap out
- 0:59Speaker 2: of me. Came out of that thing because it like
- 1:01Speaker 2: goes it's tall beside it and then arches down over
- 1:04Speaker 2: it and she's like, hey, do it and I'm like,
- 1:06Speaker 2: where are you.
- 1:07Speaker 4: It's like God talking to you.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I want to be like Big two.
- 1:11Speaker 2: He has the way to.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Live, just ingrained in her head.
- 1:15Speaker 4: She's in there boomer sooner.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I have that, and I have the outlet on my
- 1:19Speaker 2: phone as well. So have the nanat and the outlet.
- 1:21Speaker 3: What's the outlet?
- 1:22Speaker 2: Outlet is a little sock that goes on while they
- 1:24Speaker 2: sleep and it's all their vitals and tells you. It's
- 1:27Speaker 2: crazy because to me, you wear Apple Watch, it tells
- 1:32Speaker 2: you you know how much sperms in your scroll on
- 1:35Speaker 2: really just that it does everything.
- 1:38Speaker 4: So I don't have that version.
- 1:39Speaker 2: No, no, something does.
- 1:42Speaker 3: That stress you out more?
- 1:43Speaker 5: Though?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Knowing like if your heart beats like higher than it
- 1:46Speaker 3: normally is, You're like, oh, why is that? Well?
- 1:48Speaker 2: I went to an or ring. I've had to get
- 1:49Speaker 2: Amy to stop talking about on our show because it
- 1:51Speaker 2: sounds like we're advertising for it and we're not.
- 1:54Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And it does give me a ton of information and
- 1:56Speaker 2: I just use At first, I watched it all, but
- 1:59Speaker 2: now I find the information that's parted it to me
- 2:02Speaker 2: and I use it Okay, sleep, I use it mostly
- 2:05Speaker 2: for sleep. But it's crazy what these cameras can do,
- 2:07Speaker 2: because it'll say the baby was attended to seven minutes ago,
- 2:11Speaker 2: the baby is asleep, the baby is in deep sleep.
- 2:14Speaker 2: It's just the AI of the camera.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Yeah, the same thing you have the Yeah, we didn't have.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Any of that.
- 2:23Speaker 2: You mean when you were a kid, or with when.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I had kids. Like my youngest is seven now, and
- 2:29Speaker 3: I feel like with him even it was like, I
- 2:32Speaker 3: don't know, I think he's okay. I'm seeing him a
- 2:33Speaker 3: couple hours. I think it's all right.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I was just looking at that. H that's what's up.
- 2:40Speaker 2: How you guys doing?
- 2:41Speaker 3: Good man?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Good big game tonight. Can you believe they lost again?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Can you believe the Spurs lost again?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Do you think do you think that they would have
- 2:51Speaker 3: won the game if Castle would have turned around and
- 2:52Speaker 3: caught that pass.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I think that as I was watching it, I could
- 2:55Speaker 2: not believe it because it kind of hit him in
- 2:57Speaker 2: the hair or whatever on his back.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yes, this is stuff that my kids do in AAU.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I think that Wemby had an open shot and missed it.
- 3:06Speaker 3: To win the game.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, like an elbow jumper.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he makes those normally. I know it was
- 3:11Speaker 3: still far.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It wasn't even a three pointer, Like I wouldn't.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Say it's elbow, it's that twenty what do they call that?
- 3:16Speaker 3: That twenty range?
- 3:18Speaker 2: It was definitely a mid range right out right outside
- 3:21Speaker 2: the elbow.
- 3:22Speaker 3: He normally hits this.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Also, can you believe Brunson missed the free throw?
- 3:26Speaker 3: I know, dude, that's so rare, that's crazy, so rare.
- 3:29Speaker 2: There was just a lot of stuff. I couldn't believe
- 3:30Speaker 2: they lost two at home.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I feel like the Spurs had so many opportunities, so
- 3:34Speaker 3: many calls went their way. There were so many, like,
- 3:38Speaker 3: so many calls where I'd be like, well that one's like,
- 3:40Speaker 3: oh they didn't call that. It was crazy. We're did
- 3:44Speaker 3: it last week year soon the or And I think
- 3:48Speaker 3: Bobby was saying too that like if you're going to
- 3:50Speaker 3: call it one way called, you know, be fair or whatever,
- 3:52Speaker 3: and that this last game, game two was the Spurs
- 3:56Speaker 3: time to get some good calls. For sure.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Mine's not about calling for a team, it's about calling
- 4:00Speaker 2: for a style, Like if you're gonna to play physical,
- 4:02Speaker 2: let them play the whole game. Don't get all nitpicky
- 4:04Speaker 2: at the end of the game, right, more so than
- 4:07Speaker 2: let's go stip Spurs tonight.
- 4:08Speaker 3: They were never for the record, that was Spurs on
- 4:10Speaker 3: game two for sure, and then they couldn't close out.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And that's what worries me. When you have everything going
- 4:15Speaker 3: your way, you're at home, you feel like you I mean,
- 4:18Speaker 3: you had another twelve point lead and then you blow
- 4:21Speaker 3: it again. Like that's what worries me about. Like, I
- 4:23Speaker 3: don't know if we can win another game. I really
- 4:25Speaker 3: don't think. I don't think we can win another game.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I'm breaking the ten minute rule here because we've already
- 4:29Speaker 2: started talking for it. I'm sorry, No, it's okay. I
- 4:31Speaker 2: feel bad that Donald Trump's going to the game tonight.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It sucks for the fans. He should have gone to
- 4:36Speaker 2: game four, not game three. Game three massive for New York.
- 4:41Speaker 2: They have. They've had to stop all the tailgating they've
- 4:43Speaker 2: been doing outside of Massive Square Garden.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's getting crazy.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Fans can't get in because tickets are eight, nine, ten
- 4:47Speaker 2: thousand dollars a ticket. So not only that, they have
- 4:50Speaker 2: all these watch parties outside they've been having it all playoffs.
- 4:53Speaker 2: They had to cancel all that because the President's coming
- 4:55Speaker 2: in no way, yeah, come game four. Game three was
- 5:00Speaker 2: to be so electric for that city and it still
- 5:02Speaker 2: is inside, but it's all the rich people. Yeah, they
- 5:05Speaker 2: could afford tickets. So you're gonna be the president. You
- 5:07Speaker 2: want to go, I get it. Go game four. Think
- 5:10Speaker 2: about the fans. You gotta get their two hours early.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Now, if you were the president of the United States
- 5:16Speaker 3: and you were like a big fan of basketball and
- 5:18Speaker 3: you wanted to go, could you go incognito.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Like put a mustache on you.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Like.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Security still does their job, but all incognito.
- 5:28Speaker 2: You probably wouldn't because what if somebody tipped off somebody.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That's why you wouldn't.
- 5:34Speaker 3: It's a little risky.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a little risky.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Probably wouldn't let you go incognitioa.
- 5:38Speaker 2: They wouldn't. But when Arkansas was in the National Championship
- 5:41Speaker 2: in ninety four, Bill Clinton was the president, he went
- 5:44Speaker 2: because that's like his team.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Arkansas.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I wish Trump wouldn't go to night.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I wish you would go game four and just let
- 5:50Speaker 4: the fans have there.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It was too big for their first NBA Finals that
- 5:55Speaker 2: they were going to all out and they'll do it
- 5:56Speaker 2: game four. But then that's what's up.
- 6:00Speaker 3: So what do you think about? What you think? Nick sweet.
- 6:03Speaker 2: No, I think it goes.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I mean it's a one point in game. Game two
- 6:08Speaker 3: was so close they should have went to was so close.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I was just wondering. I was gonna text you after,
- 6:13Speaker 2: but I didn't expect, I know, I respect I didn't
- 6:16Speaker 2: because game two loss is not the same thing as
- 6:19Speaker 2: like an Arkansas football loss, where that's over, right, like
- 6:23Speaker 2: they've lost the game, it's over. You're still in the mix.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You're still in the mix. There's still a chance. It's
- 6:27Speaker 3: very slim, but there's still a chance.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I still feel san Antonio is the better team. Yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 2: they just got to do what san Antonio just did
- 6:34Speaker 2: to them, and I think that can be done.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I feel like the Spurs go so hard in the
- 6:39Speaker 3: first half defensively, offensively, they just go hard that by
- 6:44Speaker 3: like the fourth quarter, they're just done.
- 6:46Speaker 2: More time on the treadmill than what.
- 6:49Speaker 3: You don't you feel like that because they go so hard.
- 6:51Speaker 4: They're so young to I know, like they have the
- 6:54Speaker 4: energy they have, yeah, the stamina where they should be
- 6:57Speaker 4: able to do that.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Okay, well you're gonna watch it time m hm, not all.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't care enough to watch the.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Whole game really, even even if I will.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Watch none of the first half?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Really? Yeah?
- 7:13Speaker 2: None?
- 7:13Speaker 3: Well, what are you guys going.
- 7:14Speaker 4: I only watched the fourth quarter of that game too.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I don't care about the teams. What on earth?
- 7:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so only if your teams are in it. That's
- 7:21Speaker 3: the only time you watch the NBA Final.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Beginning, the whole thing.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you watched the whole You didn't have if
- 7:27Speaker 4: you didn't have kids, like boys, I wanted to watch it.
- 7:28Speaker 4: You think you would sit there on your couch.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yes, this is the only This is the only time
- 7:32Speaker 3: I watch a whole basketball game.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So whenever the Bucks on the NBA Finals, you you
- 7:36Speaker 2: watched it from the beginning.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it was on. It was on.
- 7:39Speaker 2: No, I'm not if I'm being honest.
- 7:43Speaker 3: So thanks for being honest.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I do. The Cavaliers are selling those seats set in
- 7:49Speaker 2: by celebrities, and the reason it's a big big stories
- 7:51Speaker 2: are selling the seat. Taylor that's kind of cool and Travis. Oh,
- 7:56Speaker 2: but they're doing more than just them, so Instiller, whenever
- 8:01Speaker 2: the Knicks beat the Calves, the seat he sat in there,
- 8:05Speaker 2: it's it one hundred and six bucks right now, Timothy Schalomey,
- 8:08Speaker 2: the BID's forty dollars it'd be cool if they signed them. Yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 2: but they didn't. Kylie Jenner forty bucks. You think some
- 8:15Speaker 2: perv would just get that to smell it?
- 8:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean the in his room. The fact that
- 8:24Speaker 3: it's like that cheap is worth a bid, right.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I don't think it'll end up being that cheap now
- 8:28Speaker 2: that it's being in it's a news story.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but definitely worth a forty dollars bid.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I don't even know the site you're getting it from,
- 8:36Speaker 2: do you, Mike No, let me see right now. Taylor
- 8:38Speaker 2: Swift their current bid was twenty one hundred dollars.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Is it that impressive? Like to own that? Say, you
- 8:45Speaker 3: won the bid and you got Timothy Chalomey's seat from
- 8:49Speaker 3: the Cleveland Arena, Like, like, do you if friends come
- 8:54Speaker 3: over you tell them, would they be like, really, that's
- 8:56Speaker 3: that's the.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Chair for forty bucks. I think it's worth it for
- 9:01Speaker 2: two hundred and forty No, what's out.
- 9:02Speaker 5: It's on the real list. Yeah, and it's currently at
- 9:05Speaker 5: six thousand dollars a Taylor Swift one. Oh, it's jumped
- 9:07Speaker 5: that much into the print of the story on thirty
- 9:08Speaker 5: eight bids. What's a Kelsey one? It was currently it
- 9:10Speaker 5: was a five hundred. They don't even put their names
- 9:12Speaker 5: on there. I guess they can't legally can't. It says
- 9:14Speaker 5: fourteen times Grammy Award winner.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so you have to know who that is? Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 3: that's Taylor.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I think the move would be to get one of
- 9:24Speaker 2: these and then try to have access to them at
- 9:26Speaker 2: some point to get them to also sign it.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yeah, that one from the Kansas City Super Bowl champion
- 9:32Speaker 5: is five hundred and fifty dollars.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It's only gone at fifty bucks. When does the auction end?
- 9:37Speaker 7: In six days, seven hours?
- 9:39Speaker 3: You're gonna bid?
- 9:41Speaker 2: I mean, I'd been on a Kylie Jenner or Timothy
- 9:43Speaker 2: Chalome for forty bucks. Machine at Kelly, I've been on
- 9:45Speaker 2: that for thirty five bucks. But I can't imagine they're
- 9:47Speaker 2: still that cheap? Are they?
- 9:48Speaker 7: Machine gun? Kelly is two sixty five.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I already won, oh wow?
- 9:53Speaker 2: And so no, but just for a solid chair worth
- 9:56Speaker 2: forty bucks? After who said.
- 9:57Speaker 7: Kasey Jenner is at two ninety five?
- 10:00Speaker 3: You know those chairs that like like Garth Brooks gave
- 10:02Speaker 3: you that chair, right, is that it? Yeah?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, this is it.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Garth Brooks gave you that chair. Tim McGraw gave me
- 10:07Speaker 3: a chair and I have it in my office and
- 10:10Speaker 3: one of my neighbors came by the house and she
- 10:12Speaker 3: was like, oh my gosh, that's a cool chair, Like,
- 10:15Speaker 3: do you like that chair? And I said, as a
- 10:17Speaker 3: matter of fact, Tim McGraw gave me that chair, and
- 10:20Speaker 3: she was like, cool, I sell those for my business.
- 10:25Speaker 3: She was not impressed at all that Tim McGraw gave
- 10:28Speaker 3: me that chair. I thought I expected a different kind
- 10:31Speaker 3: of like reaction.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I think her initial interest though, was because she sells
- 10:36Speaker 2: that type.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Of chach she worked for, like the company that sells
- 10:39Speaker 3: those chairs.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well, oh uh, I don't know. I like to
- 10:43Speaker 2: see the next window night.
- 10:45Speaker 4: No, I need the spurs how to make it somewhat interesting?
- 10:47Speaker 2: But how cool? I'm just thinking, as a fan, you
- 10:50Speaker 2: get to go, you go to that game. New York
- 10:52Speaker 2: is freaking going crazy right now.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Oh now you're feeling for the New York fans.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm feeling for the fans in general of teams that
- 10:58Speaker 2: haven't won in fifty years. Being a Cubs fan my
- 11:00Speaker 2: whole life. I know, Arkansas fan my whole life. I
- 11:03Speaker 2: have gone long periods and the people before my forefathers
- 11:05Speaker 2: have gone long periods without winning. So when it comes
- 11:09Speaker 2: to an organization not winning a championship for fifty years,
- 11:12Speaker 2: and I think about their fans because I think about me.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So yeah, because I have no interest in the Knicks,
- 11:17Speaker 2: but I do hope they win because they haven't.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's crazy. They haven't won it so long.
- 11:24Speaker 2: A New York team hasn't won it so long. But
- 11:26Speaker 2: also the Jets sucked. Yeah, yeah, the Giants have mostly sucked. Yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 2: with the occasional blip.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yankees aren't what they were.
- 11:35Speaker 2: But the Yankees are. I mean, you're right, but they win,
- 11:38Speaker 2: they spend money.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Yeah, they just haven't won a World Series.
- 11:40Speaker 3: And speaking of the Cubs, they blew it last night.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well it ain't. Like I said, it's the tail
- 11:46Speaker 2: of two cities, best of times, worst times. I didn't
- 11:50Speaker 2: watch the game.
- 11:50Speaker 3: What's their problem? They're pitching. It must be their pitching,
- 11:53Speaker 3: because their banning's pretty good.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Well, an example would be pca is a game of
- 11:59Speaker 2: three games ago. They had him a fly ball and
- 12:00Speaker 2: he's like, I can't find it home Boom makes two
- 12:02Speaker 2: bone hit and then hits a game winning home.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Runstrong Yeah you call him pa mm hmm.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It saves me going Pete Crow Armstrong.
- 12:13Speaker 3: It really does a lot of time every single time.
- 12:15Speaker 2: There's only one team in the L Central that has
- 12:17Speaker 2: a losing record and they just fell below and I
- 12:20Speaker 2: think it's the Reds. I think every team has a
- 12:23Speaker 2: winning record in the L Central except for the Reds,
- 12:25Speaker 2: and I think there are I could have saw the
- 12:27Speaker 2: story on Friday or Saturday, so it might be different now,
- 12:29Speaker 2: but you could correct me on that.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Yeah, there's thirty one and thirty three, so the two
- 12:33Speaker 5: under now and they're crazy. That whole division was had
- 12:36Speaker 5: a winning record.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, all right, and Milwaukee's still up there too.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Milwaukee's running. I saw in Chattanoo, Chattanooga. I think
- 12:45Speaker 2: it was the Spain World Cup team playing a friendly
- 12:49Speaker 2: in Chattanooga.
- 12:50Speaker 3: That's cool, really.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Hilarious in Chattanooga, I think so was that real? A No?
- 12:56Speaker 2: I think it was real because I also saw Messi,
- 12:59Speaker 2: who plays for Argentina. Yes, in College station correct the way. Really, Yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 2: that's cool.
- 13:04Speaker 3: They're playing all those friendlies in these little towns college towns.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Oh are they playing the football stadiums? Okay, that makes sense, but.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It's just weird because there were all these cars with
- 13:16Speaker 2: like we and flags, and imagine you're on the Spain
- 13:19Speaker 2: international team. You're, you know, one of the team is
- 13:21Speaker 2: supposed to win the whole World Cup and you're in Chattanooga.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I love that.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Do you see it?
- 13:28Speaker 7: They're just easily arrive.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I'm trying to but they were there, right, Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 2: There Chattanooga. Yeah that's even worse.
- 13:36Speaker 7: The Baylor school in Chattanooga.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Well, shoutout Chattanooga, we love you. But I mean, can
- 13:40Speaker 2: you imagine you're a multi one hundred million dollar Spain
- 13:43Speaker 2: player and your basis in Chattanooga.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Who is Spain? Oh that's not Ronaldo Renaldo's Portugal, right.
- 13:50Speaker 2: So is Messi's base in college station. He's gonna get
- 13:56Speaker 2: good chilling in college station. That wild you guys looking
- 14:02Speaker 2: that up.
- 14:02Speaker 3: So the when you say bass, does that mean like
- 14:05Speaker 3: throughout the whole World Cup they live there. That's where
- 14:08Speaker 3: they live, and then they just travel to wherever they're
- 14:10Speaker 3: playing that that week.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Seems like that would be yeah, right, Mike mess He's
- 14:12Speaker 2: in Kansas City, Okay, I know they were on college stations.
- 14:17Speaker 7: That's where Argentina is.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Uh, there's do you say that player to collapse again?
- 14:21Speaker 3: The second guy, I didn't watch it. What's crazy is
- 14:24Speaker 3: I saw the first one live. When this is the
- 14:26Speaker 3: second time this happened to this guy, it was like
- 14:27Speaker 3: his heart stops right, yeah, the first time he was
- 14:30Speaker 3: under cardiac arrest.
- 14:32Speaker 2: It's a white dude though, yeah, like Danish guy.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yeah, he's from Yeah, I believe it's Denmark. And his
- 14:39Speaker 3: name is Christian Ericsson.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Dude, if there's not an explorer name, that's the most explorer.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Name I've ever heard, Christian Ericson.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I should be setting the season find
- 14:49Speaker 2: a New Land and it's like Eric s n you know.
- 14:52Speaker 3: But I remember watching that game. I don't know if
- 14:55Speaker 3: it was the World Cup or if I was just
- 14:57Speaker 3: betting on a random Denmark game, but I was watching
- 15:00Speaker 3: it live and I remember he fell and everyone kind
- 15:03Speaker 3: of just waved over. They called the medics and they
- 15:05Speaker 3: had to cover him because they were all doing CPR. Okay,
- 15:08Speaker 3: that was a few years ago. Guys, this happened again.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Like I don't understand. I feel like at this point
- 15:15Speaker 3: and now he has like a a heart starter thing.
- 15:20Speaker 2: It felt like a mini defibrillator in.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Our like built inside of him. So if it does happen,
- 15:24Speaker 3: it kicks off and he's good again. I just don't
- 15:27Speaker 3: understand loving the game that much too, Like, dude, you've
- 15:29Speaker 3: almost died twice now and you're still playing soccer. That
- 15:33Speaker 3: is crazy to me.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Would you have played again after the first time?
- 15:37Speaker 1: No?
- 15:37Speaker 2: What if that was everything you'd ever wanted and it
- 15:39Speaker 2: was your whole purpose in life?
- 15:40Speaker 7: Yes, I would keep playing for your country.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I would keep playing.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It happened in the NFL.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I know, Yeah, the Mare Hamlin he played. He's playing, dude,
- 15:51Speaker 3: same scenario I remember. I don't know. It's just crazy
- 15:55Speaker 3: to when you see like a player that's like dead
- 15:58Speaker 3: on the field and people are his teammates are freaking out,
- 16:02Speaker 3: people are in tears, They've got the tarp covering him,
- 16:04Speaker 3: and you can see behind the carp that they're actually
- 16:07Speaker 3: doing CPR. That's just a crazy, crazy scene. And then
- 16:11Speaker 3: to be like, oh, I'm gonna keep on playing. Then
- 16:13Speaker 3: it happened to him again. Do you keep Do you
- 16:14Speaker 3: play in the World Cup?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, if you've already committed to your end, if
- 16:18Speaker 2: a doctor says you can go, you go. Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 4: I was gonna say, if the doctor has to clear you,
- 16:21Speaker 4: obviously they have the doctor claires yet, Yeah, you're going.
- 16:25Speaker 2: But like Tua with eight concussions or however many he
- 16:29Speaker 2: has at this point, I don't know that I continue
- 16:32Speaker 2: doing that because you're just playing regular season games at
- 16:34Speaker 2: that point. This is the World Cup.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and here you got paid.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so can you just quit?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Well, I mean there's probably all kinds of you know,
- 16:44Speaker 4: they would get a lot back. But yes, at the
- 16:47Speaker 4: end of the day, you're getting paid a good amount
- 16:49Speaker 4: whatever it is.
- 16:49Speaker 2: But it's a medical reason too. It's not like you're
- 16:51Speaker 2: just retiring.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you think there's a clause in that contract if
- 16:54Speaker 3: his medical probably yeah, probably. I don't know, man, I
- 16:58Speaker 3: just couldn't believe. When I saw his name, I was like, oh,
- 17:00Speaker 3: they must be talking about the first time this happened.
- 17:02Speaker 4: You recognize his name though, Yeah, I do.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I do do. When you see something like that live,
- 17:06Speaker 3: you remember Tomorrow Hamlin Like.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I was watching that live. That crazy.
- 17:09Speaker 3: That was crazy.
- 17:10Speaker 2: They cut away and had to go to the studio.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Dude, not soccer. When this guy happened the first time,
- 17:15Speaker 3: they did not cut away. They zoomed in like they
- 17:17Speaker 3: zoomed in and they stayed on air for twenty minutes
- 17:20Speaker 3: while they were doing CPR trying to get this guy live,
- 17:22Speaker 3: and they're like, we just hope he comes back to
- 17:25Speaker 3: live at some point.
- 17:26Speaker 4: That's where you're like, Okay, we're gonna go back to
- 17:27Speaker 4: the studio.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I saw Kevin's Instagram story. He was hitting golf balls.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, dude, my practicing. You know, after you
- 17:38Speaker 4: said that the other day, I was thinking, I said
- 17:40Speaker 4: what after I said what, Well, after you were talking
- 17:41Speaker 4: about how bad it was at golf on the podcast.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I think what you said was you liked it because
- 17:46Speaker 2: he's very athletic, but he's terrible at golf.
- 17:48Speaker 3: That's what I love about golf is that you can
- 17:50Speaker 3: take a person like Kevin, who's really good at everything, yeah,
- 17:52Speaker 3: and then watch him suck at golf. That's kind of cool.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 4: So I was just taking shots for no reason again
- 17:57Speaker 4: about my golf game. So I was like, you know what, man,
- 17:59Speaker 4: I want to want to try to get back into
- 18:01Speaker 4: this again. And I posted that on my story. Dude,
- 18:04Speaker 4: I had people hitting me up like hey, like try this,
- 18:07Speaker 4: practice this like friends, not just random people. I'm talking
- 18:10Speaker 4: about friends.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Oh. I love that.
- 18:11Speaker 4: He's like, hey buy this, dude, do this?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Do that?
- 18:14Speaker 4: My neighbor who's trying to get in on the US
- 18:16Speaker 4: Open right now, he's like, next time you go out there,
- 18:19Speaker 4: I'll come out with you for an hour. Old, we'll practice.
- 18:21Speaker 3: He's trying to make the US that's what he said.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yeah, like a month ago he told me that. He's
- 18:25Speaker 4: talking about the whole process where you.
- 18:26Speaker 2: GUS Open as you can play these small tournaments. Sure,
- 18:29Speaker 2: and when it's why Romo almost makes it every year
- 18:32Speaker 2: because he plays these they're qualifiers. Yes, you could play
- 18:35Speaker 2: in a very preliminary qualifier.
- 18:37Speaker 3: And I will never make the US Open.
- 18:39Speaker 2: But his neighbor.
- 18:40Speaker 3: But his neighbor, I guess can.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's like, I'll give you some pointers and
- 18:43Speaker 4: you'll be smoking eddy on the course.
- 18:44Speaker 8: It's like, perfect, let's do it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Did you appreciate people reaching out and trying to give
- 18:48Speaker 3: you tips?
- 18:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it depends on who it is. If it's somebody
- 18:52Speaker 4: I know that, we all know the guy that wants
- 18:55Speaker 4: to coach everybody, it's like, well, work on your own
- 18:57Speaker 4: game first, but no, these guys are like legit players
- 19:01Speaker 4: and they're like, hey, try this. And he's sending me
- 19:03Speaker 4: videos about like practice this, and look, I could go
- 19:06Speaker 4: practice for the next month and then life comes up
- 19:09Speaker 4: and we all know how that is. But man, I
- 19:11Speaker 4: just want to get better, especially after you said though.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Golf is not a sport where I feel like anybody
- 19:15Speaker 2: can tell me one thing and I get better. Never
- 19:19Speaker 2: it's never worked like that. And if I do learn
- 19:22Speaker 2: some tip or something, because there's so much nuance in
- 19:24Speaker 2: every movement of all the body parts, something else breaks.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I'm right about fixing the other thing.
- 19:31Speaker 3: You're right, because it does take. It's a combination of
- 19:33Speaker 3: so many things. It's not just put the ball in.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, in front understands it's not that simple.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I know it's hard. But I was also thinking about
- 19:43Speaker 4: you talking about, oh yeah, you could choot basketball, play
- 19:45Speaker 4: football when you're younger, all this, like, yeah, that was great,
- 19:48Speaker 4: but now it's like the majority of your life you're golfing.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I know.
- 19:52Speaker 3: That's why I tell my kids, and I'm glad now
- 19:53Speaker 3: they're starting to play golf. But I'm just like, guys,
- 19:56Speaker 3: golf is the sport you can play for the rest
- 19:57Speaker 3: of your life, right, But.
- 19:58Speaker 2: It's not cool yet espeuch to their friends. Yes, Nicole Brown,
- 20:03Speaker 2: Simpson's sister, wants the NFL to not let anybody wear
- 20:06Speaker 2: thirty two?
- 20:07Speaker 8: O J.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Simpson, that's not fair to the number, right, Like, why
- 20:11Speaker 2: that's an interesting reason.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Why I punished the number, because Okay, it was a
- 20:14Speaker 3: bad dude.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Dang you know, are you justice for the number?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Like that's I think it's stupid too, because what
- 20:22Speaker 3: if you were like thirty two, yeah in high school
- 20:25Speaker 3: and that was your favorite number, and now you make
- 20:27Speaker 3: it the NFL and they're like, sorry, man, you can't
- 20:28Speaker 3: wear in thirty two?
- 20:29Speaker 1: O J.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Simpson ruined that for you.
- 20:31Speaker 2: I guess I think of the just the players I
- 20:32Speaker 2: have it now, like.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Travon Henderson.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, anybody that's thirty two, thirty two. I don't think
- 20:39Speaker 2: you should ban a whole number because I guess if
- 20:42Speaker 2: he murdered in.
- 20:43Speaker 3: It, he's wearing the jersey I can't wear.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I think if he was wearing the number thirty two
- 20:48Speaker 2: and he did some murdering and killed thirty two people.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, then definitely don't wear it.
- 20:55Speaker 1: There.
- 20:55Speaker 2: You just can't see her retiring a number across the
- 20:57Speaker 2: whole league because somebody's old number was that and they
- 21:02Speaker 2: they weren't even convicted of murder, not of the murder.
- 21:05Speaker 4: I mean, what about eighty one Anandez.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna eliminate numbers for there could be no numbers.
- 21:11Speaker 2: There'd be like four numbers left if we do all
- 21:13Speaker 2: bad stuff that people do. What did Ray Cruz wear exactly?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Ray Lewis ray Lewis no, because he wasn't convicted, but
- 21:22Speaker 2: he also kept playing.
- 21:25Speaker 3: He did and he played well.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Hall of Famer. Uh who else like Ray Ruth
- 21:32Speaker 2: was a panther?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yeah? Eighty four?
- 21:34Speaker 2: What did he do?
- 21:37Speaker 3: People?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:38Speaker 3: Like domestic?
- 21:41Speaker 2: I think it was like a girl. We read the
- 21:43Speaker 2: Reycruzz story. I don't gonna be wrong about it.
- 21:45Speaker 5: But I feel convicted in two thousand and one of
- 21:48Speaker 5: conspiracy to commit murder, of orchestrating in nineteen ninety nine
- 21:51Speaker 5: shooting of his pregnant, pregnant girlfriend.
- 21:54Speaker 7: He paid a hitman to shore.
- 21:56Speaker 4: And then what's the thing? They played? Ohio State in
- 21:58Speaker 4: the last ten years or so played for the Jet
- 22:00Speaker 4: so defensive back. You just got arrested a couple of
- 22:02Speaker 4: months ago on killing his girlfriend.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I was watching a TikTok clip of a guy that
- 22:06Speaker 2: worked for the FBI retired now and the we're talking
- 22:09Speaker 2: about hitman, and he said seventy percent of hitman out
- 22:12Speaker 2: there are just undercover FBI agents.
- 22:14Speaker 3: There aren't real He's.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Like, there's a couple, he said. But if you're hiring
- 22:17Speaker 2: a hitman, most likely you're hiring an undercover FBI agent.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Do you go about that?
- 22:24Speaker 1: I know?
- 22:25Speaker 3: And how do you even get to that mental space
- 22:26Speaker 3: where like, I need to get rid of someone, so
- 22:28Speaker 3: I got to hire someone to get rid of them?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I always think about horrible bosses? Is that I
- 22:34Speaker 4: hire the guy to pee on him on accident?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Is there that one?
- 22:37Speaker 5: No?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Is that a movie?
- 22:38Speaker 4: Isn't isn't it that one?
- 22:39Speaker 2: My?
- 22:39Speaker 3: Actually?
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember it? Is it Jason Bateman?
- 22:42Speaker 4: Yeah, And they thought they hired a hitman, but it's
- 22:44Speaker 4: a guy to actually pee on somebody on Craigslist.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I think they found him. Is that a funny one?
- 22:50Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, sounds funny.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I watched a funny one this weekend. I watched Nirvana,
- 22:55Speaker 2: the band, the show, the movie.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I've seen the thumbnail. What's what's is it good?
- 22:59Speaker 2: It's not about Nirvana the band at all, the actual
- 23:01Speaker 2: band Nirvana, and its spelled differently for that reason. So
- 23:04Speaker 2: I had the baby, and so I was just trapped
- 23:09Speaker 2: in the house, So I had to find something to
- 23:10Speaker 2: watch because I wasn't going anywhere because I was watching Baby,
- 23:13Speaker 2: and so I'm just flipping through Amazon and that pops
- 23:15Speaker 2: up with something I may like and it was wasn't
- 23:17Speaker 2: two hours. Didn't know anything about it, so I hit
- 23:22Speaker 2: Rent five ninety nine and then I looked it up
- 23:26Speaker 2: and apparently it was a web series that got so
- 23:31Speaker 2: successful and popular in Canada they turned into a television show.
- 23:34Speaker 2: So it then became Nirvana the Band, the show, and
- 23:37Speaker 2: then the show went for many years and they haven't
- 23:39Speaker 2: done it a long time. But then they made the movie,
- 23:41Speaker 2: so it was Nirvana the Band, the show, the movie.
- 23:45Speaker 3: And that's funny.
- 23:46Speaker 2: They made it really cheap online that said they's only
- 23:50Speaker 2: spent five million bucks on making the whole movie, and
- 23:53Speaker 2: that they shot a lot of it, and I was
- 23:54Speaker 2: texting Mike about it last night. They showed a lot
- 23:56Speaker 2: of it Gorilla kind of like when like Borat, they
- 23:59Speaker 2: say cameras out, but they're also acting out in natural situation,
- 24:04Speaker 2: so they're still doing their fictional lines, but with people
- 24:06Speaker 2: around that don't know. Yeah, and so it's all about
- 24:09Speaker 2: how they're trying to play this show at this venue.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Which I think the whole show was about. I never
- 24:12Speaker 2: watched the show, but instead they accidentally time travel.
- 24:17Speaker 3: This word gets stupid.
- 24:19Speaker 2: I really enjoyed it. Like I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I recommend it to Mike because I think Mike and
- 24:25Speaker 2: I have a similar sense of humor, and I think
- 24:27Speaker 2: he'd love how they made the movie. But I enjoyed it.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I thought I really liked it. And then I messaged
- 24:32Speaker 2: one of the guys last night that was in it
- 24:34Speaker 2: who wrote it. I was like, move's awesome. Mightn't even
- 24:36Speaker 2: know what it was. I just I don't think he
- 24:38Speaker 2: responded to them.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Me, see, dude, that's pretty awesome.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Did you come about it?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Literally? Just Amazon thought I would like it, and they
- 24:44Speaker 2: were right, Yeah, Amazon knows. Let's see no good thing
- 24:49Speaker 2: back yet. I messaged, Uh Jay McCarroll said, hey, man,
- 24:55Speaker 2: watched your movie. Really enjoyed it.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Do you you.
- 25:02Speaker 2: That's literally?
- 25:03Speaker 3: I said to them, that's something you do often.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Like if they if I go to their page because
- 25:08Speaker 2: I was curious about just their story because they're two
- 25:11Speaker 2: best friends that did this. He had like thirty eight
- 25:14Speaker 2: thousand followers, so I'm thinking, oh, he may like that
- 25:17Speaker 2: someone says, hey, I like, yeah, it wasn't like he
- 25:20Speaker 2: had ten million.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I've never thought of doing that.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so I messaged just like I ntroyed the movie.
- 25:24Speaker 2: The other guy, Mike was the guy from BlackBerry. Oh really?
- 25:29Speaker 2: So yeah, the two guys that wrote this. I think
- 25:32Speaker 2: the other guy wrote or directed BlackBerry as well, based
- 25:35Speaker 2: off the book BlackBerry's really good. Yeah he's a Canadian
- 25:39Speaker 2: movie as well. Yeah, yeah, BlackBerry's got on Netflix. What
- 25:42Speaker 2: are you gonna say, Kevin.
- 25:43Speaker 4: No that I was looking up Jay McCarroll then under
- 25:45Speaker 4: his movies and TV shows with BlackBerry's right there.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And Jay mccarorell from that did the music for BlackBerry.
- 25:51Speaker 2: He like, went to Berkeley School in music. But they
- 25:53Speaker 2: re godle That says pretty good. I really liked it,
- 25:56Speaker 2: but I wouldn't recommend it to a single person because
- 25:58Speaker 2: you will come away going what the crap was at?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Like you, now, if your sensibility isn't that you've been
- 26:02Speaker 2: watching that show, or you don't have that kind of
- 26:03Speaker 2: sense of humor.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I like it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I like it.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I don't think so okay, thank you. I don't think
- 26:08Speaker 2: you have the patience for it. Oh yes, and you
- 26:10Speaker 2: don't like some absurd stuff like I do.
- 26:12Speaker 3: No like time travel.
- 26:14Speaker 2: It's not about time. I mean it's about time travel,
- 26:16Speaker 2: but it's not a time travel movie. Okay, there are elements.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Because I do like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and
- 26:21Speaker 3: that's a time travel movie.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, different completely.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Was that because it came out. How old were you
- 26:26Speaker 4: when that came out?
- 26:27Speaker 3: Bill and Ted?
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:28Speaker 4: I mean that was like you think you have something
- 26:30Speaker 4: to do with like when it came out and it's
- 26:32Speaker 4: my favorite movie for twenty years.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yeah. No, But because I've showed my kids that move in,
- 26:35Speaker 3: they think it's awesome. Really, yeah, they love it.
- 26:38Speaker 2: All right, we got an interview we're gonna do. Let's
- 26:40Speaker 2: take a break. Hey, let's welcome in Julian Edlow from
- 26:44Speaker 2: Draft Kings Network. Julian's been with DraftKings is twenty fifteen
- 26:47Speaker 2: and cover sports batting across NFL, NBA, MLB, college football.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Before Draft Kings he covered the Celtics and the NBA,
- 26:55Speaker 2: and you can check out his podcast Draft Kings Network
- 26:58Speaker 2: Daily Bets and here he is Ullian Edlow. Julian our
- 27:02Speaker 2: guy Eddie here is a massive Spurs fan. He just
- 27:04Speaker 2: wants to know if it's over or not.
- 27:06Speaker 6: It feels over right. I mean, these have been two
- 27:09Speaker 6: very good games. The Spurs had a good chance to
- 27:12Speaker 6: win both of them, and the Knicks did what they do.
- 27:16Speaker 6: They close out games. They're an extremely clutch team. San
- 27:21Speaker 6: Antonio has been terrific bouncing back from not just losses,
- 27:25Speaker 6: but when they rarely lose too in a row, bouncing
- 27:28Speaker 6: back from the two losses in a row this season.
- 27:31Speaker 8: So they've come too far.
- 27:33Speaker 6: They've beat the highest power rated team in the NBA,
- 27:35Speaker 6: and OK see, they've gone too far to give up.
- 27:38Speaker 6: But I just don't see this NIXT team being able
- 27:41Speaker 6: to lose four of the last five games of the series.
- 27:45Speaker 8: So is it over?
- 27:46Speaker 6: I don't think it's over that the Spurs are going
- 27:48Speaker 6: to roll over and quit on this series, but I
- 27:52Speaker 6: think it's a stretch to say they can get four
- 27:53Speaker 6: out of five games against this NIXT team.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I was watching a press conference with Wemby and he said, oh,
- 27:58Speaker 2: two is right where he wants to be? Is that
- 28:00Speaker 2: where he wants to be?
- 28:02Speaker 6: No, he wants to be in the NBA finals at
- 28:04Speaker 6: age twenty two. That's great progression that a lot of
- 28:07Speaker 6: young stars don't get to. So is he where he
- 28:11Speaker 6: wants to be in the big picture and the grand
- 28:13Speaker 6: scheme of things? Sure do you want to be down
- 28:15Speaker 6: oh two? Losing both home games. The Knicks are the
- 28:19Speaker 6: first team to take games one and two of the
- 28:23Speaker 6: NBA Finals as a road underdog in over thirty years.
- 28:26Speaker 6: The last team to do that was the nineteen ninety
- 28:28Speaker 6: five Houston Rockets, who you had that whole Nick Anderson
- 28:32Speaker 6: free throw debacle at the end of the game, and
- 28:35Speaker 6: the Rockets wound up not good for the Spurs here.
- 28:37Speaker 6: The Rockets wound up sweeping that series and taking games
- 28:40Speaker 6: three and four in Houston. So this is a you know,
- 28:44Speaker 6: this is the first time we've seen this kind of
- 28:46Speaker 6: road dominance by the underdog to open up an NBA
- 28:49Speaker 6: Finals in decades. So I would not say the Spurs
- 28:53Speaker 6: are right where they want to be, But again I'm
- 28:55Speaker 6: gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say
- 28:57Speaker 6: that their effort is going to be there, particularly out
- 29:01Speaker 6: of the gates.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Last I saw, the Knicks were the favorite tonight, which
- 29:04Speaker 2: makes sense since they're at Madison Square Garden. But also
- 29:07Speaker 2: there's something to the Spurs kind of playing for their life, right.
- 29:11Speaker 6: For sure, there's always something to the more desperate team
- 29:14Speaker 6: in the NBA when you get deep into the playoffs
- 29:17Speaker 6: and these games matter. You asked me if if it's over,
- 29:22Speaker 6: and I give the Spurs a little bit of credit,
- 29:24Speaker 6: if they lose this one, it's over. You're not gonna
- 29:26Speaker 6: be the first team to you know, no team ever
- 29:28Speaker 6: in NBA history. We've seen it in all the other sports.
- 29:30Speaker 6: No team in NBA history has come out of the
- 29:32Speaker 6: three to zero hole. And the Spurs aren't going to
- 29:34Speaker 6: be the first team to do it against these Knicks
- 29:36Speaker 6: in the NBA Finals. So this is the do or
- 29:38Speaker 6: die game for San Antonio, Whereas the Knicks know they
- 29:41Speaker 6: have plenty left in their back pocket here. So that
- 29:45Speaker 6: type of mentality does translate onto the court at in
- 29:50Speaker 6: some form or fashion, I think. But yeah, the Knicks
- 29:53Speaker 6: have to be favored in this game at this point.
- 29:55Speaker 6: I think a lot of people are surprised that they're
- 29:57Speaker 6: such short favorites, you know, two and a half point
- 29:59Speaker 6: favorites minus one thirty minus one thirty five or so
- 30:02Speaker 6: on the money line. I think a lot of people
- 30:03Speaker 6: thought after stealing games one and two on the road,
- 30:05Speaker 6: they would be a bigger favorite.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Here.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Knicks are taking a lot of money, and books like
- 30:10Speaker 6: DraftKings have not budged on the number, which suggests there's
- 30:14Speaker 6: some sharper action on desperate San Antonio, which which makes sense.
- 30:19Speaker 6: But I think they got the number right on this
- 30:21Speaker 6: game for the most part.
- 30:22Speaker 2: So if it's Nicks minus two and a half, do
- 30:24Speaker 2: you think it would have been a different number had
- 30:26Speaker 2: they went one in one?
- 30:28Speaker 6: Yeah, these things come into play as series go on.
- 30:32Speaker 6: So you know, the Knicks were four and a half
- 30:34Speaker 6: point underdogs in Game one. Now because they won that game,
- 30:39Speaker 6: the Spurs then become six and a half point favorites
- 30:42Speaker 6: in Game two, which makes no sense, right, But that's
- 30:45Speaker 6: kind of like the ultimate desperation tax because I mentioned
- 30:48Speaker 6: the ninety five Rockets that became that took those two
- 30:52Speaker 6: road games in Orlando as an underdog and they went
- 30:54Speaker 6: on to sweep well. Four times since then a team
- 30:58Speaker 6: has stolen Game one of the NBA Finals the road underdog.
- 31:01Speaker 6: It was the two thousand and four Pistons who did
- 31:03Speaker 6: go on and upset those Shaq and Kobe Lakers. Twenty
- 31:06Speaker 6: thirteen Spurs did it to the Heat, and then recently
- 31:09Speaker 6: twenty twenty two Celtics did it to the Warriors, and
- 31:11Speaker 6: last year Tyres Haliburton beat the Buzzer in game one.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Beat Okay, see all those teams lost Game two, the
- 31:18Speaker 6: home favorite one Game two, and that was priced in
- 31:22Speaker 6: to that number. So now if you're coming back one
- 31:25Speaker 6: to one, Spurs are fresh off a win, people are
- 31:28Speaker 6: feeling better about the Spurs. This game is probably more
- 31:30Speaker 6: like a pick them. And if the Knicks, you know,
- 31:33Speaker 6: based on how this game goes, will affect the price too.
- 31:36Speaker 6: If the Knicks win this game as two and a
- 31:38Speaker 6: half point home favorites to go up three to nothing,
- 31:39Speaker 6: there they're gonna be looking at like four and a
- 31:41Speaker 6: half point favorites to go for the sweep in a
- 31:43Speaker 6: game four.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Do you think Jalen Brunson is one of the best Hey,
- 31:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna bet on myself stories in a while.
- 31:48Speaker 6: Oh yeah, he said he said he would take He
- 31:51Speaker 6: would have taken a fifty five million dollar contract from
- 31:54Speaker 6: the Dallas Mavericks if that had been on the table
- 31:57Speaker 6: before he had that postseason run where he kind of
- 31:59Speaker 6: kept them afloat when Luka Dantrich was hurt, and it
- 32:04Speaker 6: obviously paid off for him big time. It paid off
- 32:07Speaker 6: for the Knicks big time, and he also left some
- 32:09Speaker 6: money on the table with New York to build that
- 32:12Speaker 6: team around him, So it's put him in tremendous position.
- 32:16Speaker 6: It worked at like you know, he admitted he would
- 32:18Speaker 6: have taken that contract. So sometimes things just just break
- 32:21Speaker 6: your way. You get a chance. If Luka Dontrich doesn't
- 32:24Speaker 6: get hurt in the postseason, he doesn't have that stage
- 32:28Speaker 6: to briefly show what he can do in big clutch games.
- 32:32Speaker 6: So everything came up Brunson in that scenario, and he
- 32:38Speaker 6: and the Knicks took advantage of it.
- 32:40Speaker 2: I've not seen a team be as loyal to players
- 32:43Speaker 2: and celebrate players that did not win championships for them
- 32:46Speaker 2: as the Knicks are doing now. And I think it's
- 32:48Speaker 2: awesome because you're saying, even Jeremy Lynn being celebrated, he's
- 32:51Speaker 2: coming back for the games you're seeing Stodamayer. We could
- 32:55Speaker 2: go through all those Nick guys who did not win
- 32:57Speaker 2: a championship still being celebrated. If they do in a championship,
- 33:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, they're gonna be kings of that entire city.
- 33:04Speaker 8: Right Yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 6: It's you know, I don't even really have context as
- 33:09Speaker 6: to what this would look like because the Knick seven
- 33:11Speaker 6: and won a championship in my lifetime.
- 33:15Speaker 8: So we don't know what these things look like.
- 33:17Speaker 6: We just see what Walt Clyotte Fraser is like when
- 33:21Speaker 6: he wears his insane outfits at MSG and the type
- 33:25Speaker 6: of reception that he gets. But there's just like generations
- 33:28Speaker 6: of Knicks fans that haven't experienced winning at all, and
- 33:32Speaker 6: even those that were around to watch the ninety nine
- 33:35Speaker 6: finals that's twenty seven years ago. There's a lot of
- 33:37Speaker 6: people that weren't even around for that. So it's gonna
- 33:41Speaker 6: it's kinda, yeah, an unknown territory for how these guys
- 33:45Speaker 6: will be treated if they can just win two of
- 33:47Speaker 6: the next five games here and close things out for
- 33:50Speaker 6: New York.
- 33:51Speaker 2: It's crazy to look at the ticket prices as well.
- 33:54Speaker 2: I mean, you know, the next did it in person.
- 33:57Speaker 2: They gave some tickets, so it's slyly I'm very slightly
- 34:00Speaker 2: dropped down tickets a bit, but you're talking about eight, nine,
- 34:03Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars to just get pretty bad seats. Have
- 34:06Speaker 2: you seen anything like that before.
- 34:09Speaker 6: I've never seen anything close to this. And I'll say,
- 34:13Speaker 6: you know, you mentioned off the top in my intro.
- 34:15Speaker 6: I've spent time covering the Boston Celtics. I've also been
- 34:18Speaker 6: a Celtics season ticket holder for sixteen or so years now,
- 34:25Speaker 6: and I'm up in the balcony. I got some cheap
- 34:28Speaker 6: seats when I was very young, didn't mind it. I've
- 34:30Speaker 6: hung on to them forever. When the Celtics have played
- 34:32Speaker 6: in some of these NBA Finals against like Golden State,
- 34:35Speaker 6: when they were up two to one, we had the
- 34:37Speaker 6: potential close out game six. Obviously, the Warriors wound up
- 34:40Speaker 6: closing out in six, but at the time people were
- 34:42Speaker 6: thinking the Celtics could close out in six. I was
- 34:44Speaker 6: looking at, hey, what can I get for these If
- 34:46Speaker 6: I listed them, It's like sixteen hundred eighteen hundred bucks,
- 34:49Speaker 6: pretty good for some cheap seats up in the balcony.
- 34:52Speaker 6: I was impressed with that about four years ago. You're
- 34:55Speaker 6: talking more than five times that just to get into
- 34:59Speaker 6: the building for not even a close out game. Those
- 35:02Speaker 6: were priced to be a closeout game, and when it
- 35:04Speaker 6: didn't become that, tickets got slashed in half. So I
- 35:09Speaker 6: don't have a price comp for what these games are
- 35:12Speaker 6: anything within Like, you know, you're talking five times more
- 35:17Speaker 6: expensive than the cheapest nosebleeds I've ever even heard of
- 35:21Speaker 6: talking NBA tickets before.
- 35:23Speaker 2: We have a diehard Celtics fan on our show, and
- 35:25Speaker 2: you think Jannis has any future with Boston.
- 35:28Speaker 8: I don't. The Celtics keep things pretty pretty tight to
- 35:32Speaker 8: the vest.
- 35:33Speaker 6: All of these rumors that we've heard over the years,
- 35:37Speaker 6: those come externally, those come from other places.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You know.
- 35:43Speaker 6: You got to remember when these big deals happen in
- 35:46Speaker 6: Celtic's history, they pop out of nowhere. When Brad Stevens
- 35:49Speaker 6: was hired as head coach, that story popped.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Out in nowhere.
- 35:52Speaker 8: He wasn't even on the radar when Brad.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Stevens went upstairs to replace Danny Ainge and they went
- 35:57Speaker 6: to Emio Doka, which didn't work out long term. But
- 36:00Speaker 6: when they make these big adjustments, and that includes big trades,
- 36:06Speaker 6: that doesn't leak from the Celtics side, and we all
- 36:09Speaker 6: kind of get surprised. So we're hearing all this honest
- 36:11Speaker 6: to Boston stuff. I think that's because the honest wouldn't
- 36:13Speaker 6: mind coming to Boston and being a part of the
- 36:17Speaker 6: Celtics organization. But I think that's all external noise. I
- 36:20Speaker 6: don't think there there's really any interest on the Celtics
- 36:23Speaker 6: side in him.
- 36:24Speaker 2: What do you think happens then with the big power
- 36:25Speaker 2: two in Boston.
- 36:28Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the big question. Everybody's quick to give up
- 36:32Speaker 6: on them, and the question is what is the return.
- 36:35Speaker 6: That's so I've always said, you know, I would not
- 36:38Speaker 6: move Jason Tatum. I do think he's the more complete player,
- 36:41Speaker 6: which for a long time was the popular opinion. And
- 36:44Speaker 6: now after this season, Jalen Brown finishes fourth or whatever
- 36:46Speaker 6: it was in MVP voting, and it becomes, oh well,
- 36:49Speaker 6: maybe build around Brown and see what you can get
- 36:51Speaker 6: for Tatum. He's coming off the Achilles. We talk about
- 36:54Speaker 6: this all the time in Boston, and because they place
- 36:57Speaker 6: similar positions, the need to break them up. But you
- 37:01Speaker 6: can never have too much perimeter talent in the NBA.
- 37:03Speaker 6: That's how you win. So I think it needs to
- 37:08Speaker 6: be a tremendous offer to break them up. I don't
- 37:11Speaker 6: know if I like Jalen Johnson from Atlanta, I don't
- 37:13Speaker 6: know if that and other pieces isn't enough. I like,
- 37:16Speaker 6: I saw the Bill Simmons won Trey Murphy in New Orleans.
- 37:18Speaker 6: I don't know if that's enough for a Jalen Brown,
- 37:20Speaker 6: even with other pieces. So I think it needs to
- 37:23Speaker 6: be an offer that really blows you away. And I
- 37:25Speaker 6: don't know if you find a team that desperate to
- 37:28Speaker 6: both add Jalen Brown and have something of the equivalent
- 37:31Speaker 6: of Jalen Brown to match it with. Because Brad Stevens,
- 37:34Speaker 6: who I think was very honest in his end of
- 37:36Speaker 6: season press conference, said that they need to improve their talent.
- 37:41Speaker 8: They want to add talent.
- 37:43Speaker 6: So I don't think Brad Stevens is going to look
- 37:45Speaker 6: to move Jalen Brown unless he feels he's upgrading the
- 37:49Speaker 6: talent on the Celtics, which is going to be extremely
- 37:51Speaker 6: difficult to do.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Then does Jalen Brown have to accept that he's the
- 37:55Speaker 2: second option?
- 37:58Speaker 6: Sort of, but it does have to be the second
- 38:01Speaker 6: option every night, you know, like if it's his night,
- 38:05Speaker 6: it's his night. And I think Jason Tatum is also
- 38:07Speaker 6: very open to deferring to that, and that's what they did.
- 38:12Speaker 8: That's how they won.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Jalen Brown won Eastern Conference Finals MVP, Jalen Brown won
- 38:16Speaker 6: NBA Finals MVP. So I think that they are Jalen
- 38:23Speaker 6: Brown or Jason Tatum. Behind closed doors. They're not best friends,
- 38:26Speaker 6: but I think they're more okay with their situation than
- 38:30Speaker 6: other people think. Obviously, Jalen Brown looked at as the
- 38:35Speaker 6: slightly lesser player, has a little bit of a chip
- 38:37Speaker 6: on his shoulder because of that.
- 38:39Speaker 8: But I think that's one of the things. One of
- 38:40Speaker 8: the reasons to keep him.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Getting together is you get deep in the playoffs, Brown
- 38:44Speaker 6: is going to continue playing with that chip on his shoulder.
- 38:47Speaker 6: Are you gonna get that chip on your shoulder from
- 38:50Speaker 6: whoever you're trading Brown for. Are you're gonna get a
- 38:52Speaker 6: player that's coming from a losing team who's very excited
- 38:55Speaker 6: to be playing second fiddle to Jason Tatum on the
- 38:57Speaker 6: Celtics and just even have a chance to win. So
- 39:00Speaker 6: that's almost you know, Brown being the second guy at
- 39:03Speaker 6: times can almost be a benefit because of the motivation.
- 39:07Speaker 2: There are you guys doing football futures, yet you focus
- 39:10Speaker 2: on that.
- 39:11Speaker 6: I've been I've been dabbling some NFL and college. I
- 39:15Speaker 6: would say I have more college in so far, but
- 39:17Speaker 6: some opinions on both.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Do you have any opinion on the Dallas Cowboys.
- 39:24Speaker 6: It's probably not going to be their year to win
- 39:25Speaker 6: at all. I haven't bet anything Cowboys related the defense.
- 39:31Speaker 6: I like what they did defensively in the draft. That's
- 39:34Speaker 6: a pretty common opinion. But they added, you know, real
- 39:37Speaker 6: talent at key positions in the draft, but I think
- 39:40Speaker 6: it was best player available at on the side of
- 39:43Speaker 6: the ball they really needed. So I think the Eagles
- 39:46Speaker 6: should regress this year, and that means that Dallas will
- 39:49Speaker 6: be in the mix, which is what they can ask
- 39:53Speaker 6: for at this point.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Right, So who have you already put an NFL future on?
- 39:58Speaker 6: So I bet to win totals over I bet the
- 40:02Speaker 6: Bengals over nine and a half and I bet the
- 40:04Speaker 6: Vikings over eight and a half. Now, Minnesota, I think
- 40:09Speaker 6: is the one that I think people understand why the
- 40:12Speaker 6: Bengals should be good. They need a healthy year out
- 40:14Speaker 6: of Joe Burrow, they need to keep that offensive line intact,
- 40:17Speaker 6: and they got better defensively. We'll see what the Ravens are.
- 40:21Speaker 6: They obviously missed the postseason last year. We'll see what
- 40:24Speaker 6: Steelers are with Rogers back for one hurrah, And I
- 40:26Speaker 6: think everybody's right and off the Brown. So I think
- 40:28Speaker 6: that one kind of speaks for itself a little bit.
- 40:30Speaker 6: The Bengals should finally take a step back forward with Burrow. Minnesota,
- 40:35Speaker 6: I think is the one that people are a little
- 40:37Speaker 6: afraid of. It's obviously a really good division, with the
- 40:39Speaker 6: other three teams getting a ton of hype, and people
- 40:41Speaker 6: are down on Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray's a quarterback upgrade
- 40:45Speaker 6: for Minnesota. And we just talked about motivation with Jalen Brown.
- 40:50Speaker 6: Kyler Murray's motivated to make himself some money off of
- 40:53Speaker 6: this contract and prove that he can play well. And
- 40:56Speaker 6: he's playing on a team where the coaching staff has
- 40:58Speaker 6: had a lot of success with quarterbacks. He's got justin Jefferson.
- 41:03Speaker 6: They added to the receiver room this offseason. They're getting
- 41:06Speaker 6: back some injured offensive linemen. The defense has been rock solid.
- 41:10Speaker 6: I think the Minnesota Vikings are really getting overlooked in
- 41:13Speaker 6: that division and in that conference and can be as
- 41:17Speaker 6: good as any of the Packers, the Lions, the Bears,
- 41:22Speaker 6: because that team got to nine wins last year. You
- 41:24Speaker 6: remember they got hot down the stretch. They got to
- 41:26Speaker 6: nine and eight. I think it was last year behind
- 41:29Speaker 6: a mismatch of all kinds of second, third, fourth string
- 41:34Speaker 6: quarterbacks that were winning them games. If you get a
- 41:37Speaker 6: healthy season out of a motivated Kyler Murray, I think
- 41:39Speaker 6: Minnesota is going to be much stronger than people think.
- 41:42Speaker 2: We were talking about an odd or awkward Wembee press
- 41:45Speaker 2: conference earlier. And some of that could just be because
- 41:47Speaker 2: he speaks French. But when we talked about Kyler Murray
- 41:50Speaker 2: and JJ McCarthy, like, that's an odd that's odd what's
- 41:53Speaker 2: happening with those two guys? And Kyler is a pro
- 41:55Speaker 2: and he's saying what pros need to say, and it's
- 41:57Speaker 2: refreshing when people don't say what they need to say.
- 42:00Speaker 2: But it just feels like clunky coming from JJ McCarthy.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Would you agree with that?
- 42:03Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 42:04Speaker 6: So this isn't you know, a Jason Tatum Jalen Brown
- 42:07Speaker 6: situation where oh, is there something there? But those two
- 42:10Speaker 6: guys can be on the floor and playing their best
- 42:12Speaker 6: and working together and winning. J J McCarthy and Kyler
- 42:15Speaker 6: Murray cannot be on the field together and doing their
- 42:18Speaker 6: best to win. It's one or the other. And McCarthy
- 42:21Speaker 6: has been a letdown obviously. Kyler Murray has had success
- 42:26Speaker 6: and now needs to kind of recapture that on a
- 42:29Speaker 6: prove it deal to get to where he wants to get,
- 42:33Speaker 6: whether that future becomes with the Minnesota Vikings or finding
- 42:37Speaker 6: another landing spot to kind of get his career back
- 42:40Speaker 6: as a former number one overall pick that can can
- 42:43Speaker 6: be the starting quarterback of a team of a playoff
- 42:46Speaker 6: caliber team.
- 42:46Speaker 8: So that's the difference.
- 42:48Speaker 6: It's clunky, yeah, because those two guys' success kind of
- 42:53Speaker 6: directly work against each other, which is always that strange
- 42:57Speaker 6: QB pushing and pull.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Would your crystal ball imagine a scenario where he comes in,
- 43:05Speaker 2: plays a year, gets a good deal, leaves, and McCarthy
- 43:08Speaker 2: could be the guy again next year.
- 43:09Speaker 8: I think that has to be in the realm of possibilities.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:14Speaker 6: We just saw We just saw Minnesota do it with
- 43:16Speaker 6: Sam Donald and he took off and won a Super Bowl, Right,
- 43:19Speaker 6: So I don't think anybody saw that coming the year
- 43:22Speaker 6: coming in, although it was more perceived that Donald was
- 43:26Speaker 6: the placeholder. And we have to find out what JJ
- 43:28Speaker 6: McCarthy is. I think JJ McCarthy's gotten such a we've
- 43:32Speaker 6: gotten such a short look at him. You can't write
- 43:34Speaker 6: him off yet. So you know, Minnesota's gonna have a
- 43:37Speaker 6: decision to make. Maybe Kyler Murray is not as good
- 43:39Speaker 6: as I think he could be this season, and the
- 43:42Speaker 6: decision is easier to give McCarthy a second chance. Maybe
- 43:45Speaker 6: he is really good, and he's so good that he's
- 43:47Speaker 6: obviously going to leave and the decision is made for Minnesota.
- 43:50Speaker 6: But yes, I could see that scenario where Kyler Murray's
- 43:54Speaker 6: just good enough and Minnesota has to decide, Hey, do
- 43:56Speaker 6: we want to pay this guy and try and not
- 44:00Speaker 6: make the mistake we just made with Sam Darnold, or
- 44:03Speaker 6: do we let him go and try McCarthy again, Because
- 44:05Speaker 6: if that doesn't work a second time and you have
- 44:08Speaker 6: to go back and look for a third veteran quarterback
- 44:10Speaker 6: that is not going to go over well.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You guys can follow Julian on Twitter Julian Edlow and
- 44:15Speaker 2: then again his host of DraftKings Network Daily Bets podcast.
- 44:18Speaker 2: We're a big DraftKings show here. We really appreciate the time.
- 44:21Speaker 2: You did a great job, Julian, thank you for hanging
- 44:22Speaker 2: out with us today.
- 44:23Speaker 8: Yeah, thanks for having me man anytime.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Thanks and I see you later. All right. So before
- 44:29Speaker 2: we go, Eddie got a warning from DraftKings. I think
- 44:32Speaker 2: we should share this openly and it's.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Just a little alert they gave me. I didn't know
- 44:35Speaker 3: they did this, but it's shocking. Dude. When I got
- 44:39Speaker 3: the alert, I was just kind of like, damn, that's
- 44:41Speaker 3: kind of crazy, and I'm glad they kind of let
- 44:43Speaker 3: you know, kind of just to give you an update
- 44:45Speaker 3: to where you are financially with the app. But they
- 44:48Speaker 3: told me, since I've had the app, I have now
- 44:51Speaker 3: made five thousand dollars in deposits. But that since what
- 44:56Speaker 3: year twenty twenty two?
- 44:58Speaker 2: With three or four or five?
- 45:00Speaker 3: Still a lot of money.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Just roughly twelve hundred and fifty bucks a year.
- 45:03Speaker 3: That's still a lot of money. Not a lot of withdrawals.
- 45:05Speaker 2: But like, what are you down? Because you're not down
- 45:08Speaker 2: five thousand.
- 45:09Speaker 3: I'm probably uh, it was about four, a little less
- 45:12Speaker 3: than fourth.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Like I guess maybe you would be down about all
- 45:14Speaker 2: the money you put in if you don't have any
- 45:15Speaker 2: in your account, dude, And they're telling unless you withdrawn, Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 2: you've with drawn.
- 45:19Speaker 3: I've withdrawn some, but not a lot of withdraws. So
- 45:23Speaker 3: it's kind of cool to kind of get a little
- 45:25Speaker 3: like an awakening.
- 45:27Speaker 2: So what what are you gonna do?
- 45:29Speaker 3: Just slow it down a little bit.
- 45:31Speaker 2: There's no there's nowhere to bet right now? I know
- 45:33Speaker 2: what do you bet?
- 45:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 45:34Speaker 3: Or just a spurs golf?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Oh, here we go.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I bet on Nascar. I started betting on IndyCar Is
- 45:41Speaker 3: just started a new sport that went late last night too,
- 45:44Speaker 3: IndyCar because it was weather delay baseball. I like to
- 45:48Speaker 3: bet on first innings in baseball. There's gonna be a
- 45:51Speaker 3: run or not.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Dude, that's crazy to you bet on all that stupid stuff.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I need to take a break. I need to stop
- 45:55Speaker 3: until football.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Yeah that's what I did.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, it makes life so much less stressful, I know,
- 46:03Speaker 4: because then you can get back into football season. Like, man,
- 46:05Speaker 4: I haven't done this in four months.
- 46:06Speaker 8: Like this is great.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Like the last thing that I did, I bet on
- 46:10Speaker 2: Shuffler to win.
- 46:13Speaker 3: The Masters run Open?
- 46:14Speaker 2: Is that what he won?
- 46:15Speaker 3: He did not win?
- 46:16Speaker 5: Rory?
- 46:16Speaker 2: Want I foun Roy to win the Masters?
- 46:18Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you won't be.
- 46:19Speaker 2: And it made like I don't know, fifty hundred buck
- 46:21Speaker 2: or something. And I went to my account the other
- 46:22Speaker 2: day and it's all I'm like, oh, I forgot I want.
- 46:24Speaker 3: That's still there.
- 46:25Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 46:25Speaker 2: I didn't feel that. It doesn't like itch to bet
- 46:27Speaker 2: it it's not an itch. It's more of just you're
- 46:29Speaker 2: looking up new reasons to bet.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Like Saturdays, what do we do Saturdays? We watch UFC
- 46:34Speaker 3: and we've bet on the fights. It's a thing and
- 46:36Speaker 3: I love it. I look forward todays. Oh just me
- 46:38Speaker 3: and the app Okay, I just mean me and drafting.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Nobody else man, just us.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Well, best of luct to you, thank you, best to
- 46:49Speaker 2: your spurs.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Big big UFC too this weekend?
- 46:52Speaker 2: Is this the two readom?
- 46:55Speaker 4: Like we said, dude, have you looked at the ticket?
- 46:57Speaker 2: Like, can you just get tickets?
- 46:58Speaker 8: Maybe?
- 46:58Speaker 2: Now you can't?
- 47:00Speaker 3: Right, have no idea? Are they just letting any kind
- 47:03Speaker 3: of dude walk on the.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Oh, then you can't get tickets. As I'm saying, So
- 47:08Speaker 2: who's gonna be there? I think we're in their suits,
- 47:11Speaker 2: military people, President.
- 47:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 47:14Speaker 2: I think there were like a lot of tickets for
- 47:16Speaker 2: all the different people. So I don't think they ever
- 47:18Speaker 2: did a gin public. I don't think so they could
- 47:22Speaker 2: have very small amount.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Of this is largely invite only.
- 47:25Speaker 3: There was one fight about a couple of months ago
- 47:27Speaker 3: where I guess Dana White invited Trump and all his people.
- 47:31Speaker 3: And I would say the first four roads were just
- 47:33Speaker 3: a bunch of suits, very strange looking, look communist even,
- 47:38Speaker 3: you know, because you're not used to like seeing a
- 47:40Speaker 3: UFC fight with like people wearing suits. In the first
- 47:42Speaker 3: four rows.
- 47:42Speaker 4: I never never been to Oh, dude, you oh you guys,
- 47:47Speaker 4: Well you have to sit close right like you be
- 47:49Speaker 4: way out.
- 47:49Speaker 3: No, no, no, not even way. I feel like if
- 47:51Speaker 3: you're in the top back, like if you're at Gillette Stadium,
- 47:55Speaker 3: you're in the very back.
- 47:56Speaker 2: No, don't do that.
- 47:58Speaker 3: But I would say in arena with Bridgetone, they're normally
- 48:00Speaker 3: like I saw him at Bridgetone, I was probably mid
- 48:03Speaker 3: level and you see everything, you hear everything. Dude, you
- 48:09Speaker 3: guys would love I would go for sure.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Would you rather go to a good UFC or good wrestling?
- 48:15Speaker 3: Oh?
- 48:15Speaker 2: UFC, UFC oh wrestling by far?
- 48:19Speaker 4: I don't know anything about wrestling.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I at least know something about I mean, I guess
- 48:22Speaker 2: I know a little about UFC.
- 48:24Speaker 3: What I do like about wrestling or the crowd. The
- 48:26Speaker 3: crowd's really into it, that's true.
- 48:27Speaker 2: That's kind of cool, and it's got to be non
- 48:29Speaker 2: stop action, fun events. But they haven't planned out that way.
- 48:35Speaker 2: You have see something knocks me out in fifteen seconds
- 48:37Speaker 2: and wait, you sit on your thumb for another forty
- 48:39Speaker 2: five minutes.
- 48:40Speaker 4: If they brought out like stone Cold or something, I'd
- 48:42Speaker 4: go to wrestling.
- 48:43Speaker 2: But you don't know. Usually you just hear the glass break.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Have you all been to a boxing match?
- 48:47Speaker 1: No?
- 48:48Speaker 2: Have you No, have you been to a t ball
- 48:50Speaker 2: a stickball match in the streets of New York?
- 48:52Speaker 4: To a polo match?
- 48:53Speaker 2: Yeah? What the heck?
- 48:54Speaker 3: You've never done a boxing in Vegas or anything?
- 48:57Speaker 2: No?
- 48:57Speaker 3: Like uh like even like when like who was big,
- 49:02Speaker 3: Like when we were in our twenties. Oh, we had
- 49:05Speaker 3: like Sugar Ray Weather, Lennox, Lewis, Floyd Mayweather, Mayweather not dang, dude,
- 49:11Speaker 3: those have been cool.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I always told my grandma before she died, I only
- 49:14Speaker 2: gonna watch Jake Paul or nothing.
- 49:16Speaker 3: So that, well, you gotta keep your promise.
- 49:20Speaker 2: So far, it's been nothing. My grandma massive Jake Paul fan.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Her final words were, I hope he makes it to
- 49:27Speaker 2: his jaw surgery. I was like, Grandma, Yeah, me too.
- 49:30Speaker 4: His first subscriber.
- 49:32Speaker 2: All right, we're done, Thank you guys, Eddie, good luck
- 49:34Speaker 2: to night up.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Thank you for you we need.
- 49:36Speaker 2: I wouldn't mind if the Spurs one, but I'm rooting
- 49:38Speaker 2: for the Knicks fans and me all the Knicks fans,
- 49:42Speaker 2: remember Whens. I'm good either way. Okay, how about that?
- 49:45Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 49:46Speaker 2: Just have fun. That's what I hope they everybody just
- 49:48Speaker 2: have just have fun, all right, We'll see you guys.
