  Speaker 4: the reaction that you're expecting.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean when we came out with our first single,

  Speaker 2: Week the Dead, it blew our minds. How many people

  Speaker 2: were waiting to hear us come back. It was really

  Speaker 2: fucking cool, man, It was so cool. And then you know,

  Speaker 2: as we dropped, you know, each single, we could see
• 7:20
  Speaker 2: the excitement and with every single, and then we put

  Speaker 2: the album out and everyone's got a different favorite song

  Speaker 2: on the record and stuff.

  Speaker 1: So it's really cool to see it reciprocated so well.

  Speaker 2: And putting an album out is not like it was

  Speaker 2: back in the day, you know what I mean, Like

  Speaker 2: people people used to go to the record store and

  Speaker 2: buy albums, right, Like, so no one, no one's going

  Speaker 2: out and doing that, right, So you have to understand.

  Speaker 1: It's like it's a different it's a different world and

  Speaker 2: Reality where a whole album, like you put it out,

  Speaker 2: it's only gonna take you so far, right, it's only

  Speaker 2: gonna have a shelf life that's you know, a way

  Speaker 2: making the content for everything and making sure that you

  Speaker 2: know it's not cheat you know, it's just so hard

  Speaker 2: to like not go out and do like cheesy content.

  Speaker 1: game for sure. But you know, we have fun with it.

  Speaker 2: We try to do it in a way where it's

  Speaker 2: still fun for us and uh, you know, we can

  Speaker 2: be creative with it and stuff like that. So yeah,

  Speaker 2: I said, it's a shorter lifespan than than than what

  Speaker 2: hopefully people enjoy the record. We're gonna play that song

  Speaker 2: on tour on this next tour and stuff, and it'll

  Speaker 2: be a first time playing it on tour, so it'll

  Speaker 2: you know, we felt like it was we were on

  Speaker 2: borrow time a little bit. It was like bonus time

  Speaker 2: didn't continue, and we were just like, you know what

  Speaker 2: if people like it, they like it, and you know,

  Speaker 2: we wrote the record with the fans in mind because

  Speaker 2: they're the ones that are going to buy your album.

  Speaker 2: So it's like we we wanted to give people what

  Speaker 2: we thought they would want to hear, and we wanted

  Speaker 2: to play what we loved obviously, like that's that's super

  Speaker 2: important to us. But we know what, what what got

  Speaker 2: people excited about our band in the first place is

  Speaker 2: just a certain style that we like to play. So

  Speaker 2: we're like, we gotta do what we gotta do what

  Speaker 2: we gotta do what we do best, but just modern

  Speaker 2: like modernize everything, right. So it was like really cool

  Speaker 2: to kind of write these like you know, nostalgic feelings

  Speaker 2: songs with like a modern mix, you know, modern recording,

  Speaker 2: and so it made it really fun and we realized

  Speaker 1: There was a little bit of pressure as far as like, fuck, this.

  Speaker 2: go into a room for two straight months and write,

  Speaker 2: Vancouver in Canada now, so I was going back and

  Speaker 2: forth to LA every like couple months and write a

  Speaker 2: song and then come home for three months go out

  Speaker 2: write a song. So the writing trips were so much fun.

  Speaker 2: I actually really look forward to them rather than like

  Speaker 2: last year, but we paid like the metal course stage

  Speaker 2: right the secondary stage, so we got bumped up to

  Speaker 2: third or fourth on the main stage. So it's pretty

  Speaker 2: like first or second they put us on, and they
