- 0:11Today we're turning our Spotlight towards Tesla.
- 0:14As we unravel the latest happenings with their Advanced
- 0:16project Highland model 3 making return to the public roads for
- 0:20testing promising. An array of new features and
- 0:23advancements simultaneously will delve into Tesla's commitment to
- 0:27safety. Demonstrated by their prompt
- 0:29recall. Of a select few model, y units
- 0:32on the roads of California, a beacon of Tesla's Innovation is
- 0:35once again making its rounds following a period of Hiatus
- 0:39lasting several weeks. The quote project Highland model
- 0:433 from the electric vehicle Powerhouse, his resume testing
- 0:47bearing. Numerous design adjustments in
- 0:49advancements that hint at the company's Ambitions strides and
- 0:52it's Relentless pursuit of the electric Revolution.
- 0:55According to the electric vehicle enthusiasts at the
- 0:58kilowatts. Prototype iteration of the
- 1:01Highland model 3 unveiled, a plethora of new features that
- 1:05could redefine Tesla's standard in the market and possibly
- 1:08influence the whole electric vehicle industry.
- 1:11The car was spotted running with manufacturer plates signaling
- 1:15its prototype status and intriguing on Lookers with its
- 1:17latest developments among the highlights in the project
- 1:21Highland model, 3 was the revamped headlight designs
- 1:24standing out as a visible treatment to The evolutionary
- 1:28aesthetic. That Tesla has been known On for
- 1:30however it's what lies under the hood.
- 1:33That's garnered much more interest.
- 1:35The new model flaunts the much-anticipated hardware for
- 1:39cameras. These Advanced sensory devices
- 1:42have been progressively installed on the other Tesla's
- 1:44offerings mainly the model S model X and Y Vehicles.
- 1:48However, the model 3 is yet to see these cameras until project
- 1:52Highland transitions from prototype to production lines.
- 1:57But the revolution doesn't end there, Tesla appears to be
- 2:01lending additional focus on the aerodynamics of the model 3, the
- 2:05sighting revealed the presence of a rear diffuser on the
- 2:08prototype in aerodynamic device designed to optimize the airflow
- 2:13around the vehicle. Now Tesla first debuted this
- 2:17Tech with the model S plaid during its record-breaking
- 2:20stints at the renowned nurenberg racetrack in Germany.
- 2:25Now, the diffuser is a The engineered to enhance downforce
- 2:30at high speeds by accelerating low.
- 2:31Pressure are under the car and directing it towards the rear.
- 2:35And by refining this airflow and reducing drag Tesla could
- 2:39potentially augment the handling performance of the model 3.
- 2:43Offering a more performance-oriented variant
- 2:45Decatur to EV enthusiasts who are eager to track ready
- 2:49offerings. Now the Highland model 3 project
- 2:53came into the Limelight last fall and has been undergoing
- 2:56constant refinement. For close to a year and recently
- 2:59kimmage has unveiled a redesigned front end in hint and

- 3:05But with Tesla's propensity for experimenting with various
- 3:08designs before the initial official launch is hard to

- 3:23safety concern involving its model y Vehicles as per Recent
- 3:27notice published on the National Highway Traffic Safety.
- 3:30Administration's website recall has been issued for 137 model, y
- 3:36units, manufactured between June 23, 20, 22 and May 1st of 2023.
- 3:43The issue in question, pertains to the fastener for the steering
- 3:46wheel which could potentially loosen and disconnect the
- 3:50steering wheel from its column there by jeopardizing control
- 3:55and heightening the risk of a crash.
- 3:57The problem reportedly originates from a manufacturing
- 4:00process hiccup, which resulted in the car incorrectly
- 4:03registering? A complete torque record due to
- 4:05a proceeding torque action, addressing this matter.
- 4:09Swiftly, Tesla the globally recognized electric vehicle in
- 4:13Clean Energy company led by Elon Musk reported, the issue to the
- 4:17nhtsa and is working to rectify it.
- 4:20The company plans, to replace the Fasteners in the recalled
- 4:23Vehicles, free of charge, taking into account, the loose ones,
- 4:26identified during Inspections and having received for warranty
- 4:30claims in one Field Report potentially related to the issue
- 4:33in a span of around five and a half months.
- 4:36Tesla emphasized in the recall report that is currently not
- 4:39aware of any instances of the steering wheel.
- 4:42Completely detaching from the steering column due to this
- 4:45condition. Fortunately, the recall issue
- 4:47hasn't resulted in any reported crashes injuries or fatalities
- 4:51today. Now the company has already
- 4:53taken, proactive measures to rectify the problem and prevent
- 4:57further and future occurrences. The recall report mentioned, the
- 5:01Tesla has programmatically and physically updated the
- 5:03manufacturing tool that applies rotation to the steering wheel
- 5:07faster and is bolstered the training of its production
- 5:10Associates, Tesla Swift action extends to communication, as
- 5:14well. Notifications to test the stores
- 5:16and service centers. F bout, the recall started at
- 5:19the beginning of June. While vehicle owners will
- 5:21receive mail Notices by the end of July, this recall issue
- 5:26stands out, not due to the sheer number of vehicles affected, but
- 5:30due to Teslas rapid response and commitment to safety.
- 5:33The model y, first delivered to customers and early of 2022, has
- 5:38been a significant player in Tesla's product lineup
- 5:40contributing to the company's impressive.
- 5:42Manufacturing numbers in 2020 Tesla.
- 5:46Manufactured over 450 4900, model 3 and model, y Vehicles as
- 5:52per Our official press release, this production capacity,
- 5:56increase exponentially over the following years.
- 5:58In 2021, the number of these models produced reached
- 6:02approximately nine hundred and six thousand units.
- 6:05And last year, it's sword to nearly one point three million.
- 6:10The model y recall while significant pertains to a
- 6:13relatively small subset of the total Vehicles produced during
- 6:17that period. Now as the recall process

- 6:43project Highland. Model 3 promising enhancements
- 6:46like the hardware for cameras and a potential.
- 6:48Performance-oriented variant represents another stride and
- 6:51Tesla's. Journey, however, the ever
- 6:54evolving nature of Tesla's designs and approach suggests
- 6:58the road to the final production version could still be filled
- 7:01with tweaks and surprises. But one thing's clear.
