- 0:00Hello, good morning. Welcome. I am
- 0:02Samuel Trap. This is International
- 0:05Flavor. You are listening to DAM radio.
- 0:09[clears throat and cough] I've seen all
- 0:11over the screens today. I didn't know
- 0:12this when I walked in that the
- 0:16uh
- 0:17the Reverend Jackson is uh no longer
- 0:21with us. That's uh truly sad. I don't
- 0:23like to see people um important people
- 0:27pass away. You know, I realize everyone
- 0:29has to go through that journey at some
- 0:32point and uh I too shall go through that
- 0:36journey at some point and uh it'd be
- 0:38nice uh to uh hopefully have a person or
- 0:43two [laughter]
- 0:45uh speak for me when I when uh uh when I
- 0:48go is that was an all right dude, you
- 0:50know, something like that. Um sometimes
- 0:53I'm not so hopeful of that. Sometimes I
- 0:55think, well, of course, you know,
- 0:56[laughter]
- 0:57but it's a crazy old world out there.
- 0:59And uh that guy was u if nothing if he
- 1:02wasn't volatile during the years. And um
- 1:07it's um [snorts]
- 1:09uh it's unfortunate, but uh all the news
- 1:11is about that. I don't know any of the
- 1:13details. I haven't even looked. In fact,
- 1:15it's the first I saw it this morning. Um
- 1:18I've been working on a couple of uh
- 1:20other projects. So, if it's been a
- 1:21couple of days, I apologize for being
- 1:23the last to the table. Um, I've been uh
- 1:29taking care of some things. The I tell
- 1:32you what, my my mind is still
- 1:36full of the uh
- 1:39uh craziness of the
- 1:42the um
- 1:45Munich Security Conference. Um, I have
- 1:50yesterday [clears throat] I didn't get
- 1:51to it and I thought it would be I I
- 1:55still think it's a valuable
- 1:58lesson to go through what uh Vladimir
- 2:01Putin uh had u said in 2007 versus what
- 2:07Rubio is saying
- 2:10uh presently. you know, it's uh the the
- 2:14cheerleading for war uh
- 2:18w was just nonsensical in in my thought
- 2:22process for the so-called security
- 2:25conference. They aren't talking about
- 2:27security. They're talking about uh the
- 2:29same old crap. Um but I I really uh I
- 2:34I'm tired of the cheerleading for for
- 2:36more war. I'm tired of the uh of the
- 2:40same old standard. Um meanwhile, all the
- 2:45audio and video
- 2:47coming [clears throat] from Ukraine
- 2:49right now where there's so they're
- 2:51supposed to be engaging in uh
- 2:56talks, okay, in Geneva, Russia,
- 3:00Ukraine, United States. Russia has sent
- 3:03its highest level team um ever.
- 3:08And so this is a a pretty good um
- 3:14sign in my humble opinion that uh
- 3:17perhaps there could be something come of
- 3:20this, but uh I really don't think so.
- 3:23You know, I I I don't think there's
- 3:24anything going to come of it. We're
- 3:26still uh doing
- 3:30the same old crap. [laughter]
- 3:32Even know a lot of people are saying
- 3:35well if anybody has a chance of bringing
- 3:38the world back to some semblance of uh
- 3:41normaly
- 3:43it's uh Trump meaning globalist theory
- 3:48you know it's um
- 3:52if anybody can bring any I got an I got
- 3:56an email yesterday from somebody don't
- 3:58even know who it was unlabeled and the
- 4:01email was the email said and it was on X
- 4:05and and I honestly I don't get on X all
- 4:08that often. I I should probably get on
- 4:10there right now and see where where my X
- 4:16feed went or if anybody made any
- 4:18commentary on mine. And uh here's the
- 4:21issue. The problem is that in uh
- 4:25that uh this this article came to me.
- 4:28This ex post from some guy says uh and
- 4:31the in the article attached said
- 4:34something like
- 4:36uh brrics is dead. Bricks is dead.
- 4:38Russia coming back to the dollar. Okay.
- 4:42And so I read the article and and I I
- 4:45read it. I was like, "Well, that that's
- 4:47that's interesting." That's not what the
- 4:49article said inside of it. at all. So,
- 4:52it's basically clickbait to get somebody
- 4:54like me to go and read it, but that's
- 4:56not what it says. The the process was uh
- 5:01something like this. It went something
- 5:03like uh well, here's here's bricks.
- 5:07Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine
- 5:10on its own terms. You know, that's what
- 5:12that's what they want to do. And so
- 5:15there's a suggestion somewhere in there
- 5:18that allegedly somebody passed out that
- 5:23from the Russian side uh some foreign
- 5:26minister or another that sent out that
- 5:30we will come back to the dollar. We will
- 5:33come back to the dollar and what do you
- 5:35think of that? Uh what's what's the
- 5:37process on that? And that's it. somebody
- 5:42allegedly floated the idea. There's
- 5:44nothing definitive about it at all. It's
- 5:48just somebody, you know, asking a
- 5:51question. And the pretty funny part is
- 5:53is that uh every time I beat up on
- 5:58anything the Trump team does, I am told,
- 6:02"Well, you just don't understand how
- 6:04Trump works. You don't understand the
- 6:07transactional nature of Trump. Trump is
- 6:10a uh transactional guy and he's always
- 6:15engaging in the art of the deal. He's
- 6:20he's uh posturing. It's all posturing
- 6:23with Trump. Life is one big posture
- 6:26event for Trump. when he's yelling at
- 6:29somebody on uh ex I'm sorry uh true
- 6:33social when he is, you know, wearing his
- 6:36uh uh I'm a dictator and I'm going to
- 6:41take over the world and I'm Greenland's
- 6:44ours. We got to have it. You guys can
- 6:46all kiss off. That doesn't mean what he
- 6:49says.
- 6:51That's just posturing.
- 6:53Uh obviously he's not posturing about
- 6:55[laughter] Venezuela. He was posturing
- 6:58about uh narot terror. That's not
- 7:01anything remotely similar to what he
- 7:03said. And he immediately on Air Force
- 7:05One right after the uh invasion of uh of
- 7:10Venezuela to steal the leader of a
- 7:12sovereign country. Uh right after it, he
- 7:15completely came out of the closet and
- 7:18said, "Uh, oh, by the way, this was all
- 7:20for oil and to keep China out of uh
- 7:24Venezuela."
- 7:26So uh and you know throw Russia in there
- 7:29too and then he started seizing Russian
- 7:32boats and uh so those those are
- 7:36activities those are not uh posturing in
- 7:40the art of the deal. But this article
- 7:42that was sent on the bricks
- 7:45uh was was a weak article number one.
- 7:48Number two there's no uh no real depth
- 7:52to the article. Some somebody allegedly
- 7:54said, "We'll come back to the dollar and
- 7:57here you go." And then somebody is like,
- 7:58"See, Trump Trump's killing bricks."
- 8:02All right.
- 8:04Bricks is officially dead because an
- 8:06article was written. And so I posted
- 8:08something and I never post on on X. I I
- 8:11don't really post much on anything
- 8:13anymore. I have an auto automatic post
- 8:16of my show goes out uh like on Facebook
- 8:19and um couple other places, you know,
- 8:22but I don't usually get on there anymore
- 8:24and and and write. I used to, you know,
- 8:27get on and write lengthy diet tribes
- 8:29about this that or the other. Now my
- 8:31outlet is right here.
- 8:33And I I don't generally do as much of
- 8:36that anymore. or I'll write a formal
- 8:38article um publish it in Russia or write
- 8:42a formal article here, publish it in
- 8:44publish it in English on my own platform
- 8:46here in anukrina.u in uh in Russian and
- 8:49a couple other places or speak with
- 8:51somebody live on the radio or something
- 8:53like that. And I'm trying to get my uh
- 8:55my my Russian language version back up
- 8:58and running again. I've been I've
- 9:00neglected it for a while. been pretty
- 9:02busy with other things lately, other
- 9:04projects, but I do intend to go back to
- 9:06it because I do think it's important to
- 9:09uh say that, hey man, um you know, I'm
- 9:13interested in a dialogue with people
- 9:15whose a point of view I may not
- 9:18necessarily agree with, but I'm
- 9:19certainly curious. And and I think that
- 9:22a lot of Americans are curious and they
- 9:24don't want the BS that is thrown their
- 9:26way all of the time. Like Brics is dead
- 9:31because some Western journalist decided
- 9:33Brics is dead in an effort to get a
- 9:36feeding frenzy going of Trump supporters
- 9:38saying, "See, told you Brics is going to
- 9:41be dead cuz Trump said so. He's going to
- 9:44kill Bricks." Well, I think that's
- 9:47possible that that's what he's trying to
- 9:50do. I don't think it's very likely he
- 9:52might slow them down, but uh but I think
- 9:55that ship has already sailed. And uh a
- 9:59notable uh article came out the other
- 10:03day. Where is this? So right now there's
- 10:05some fights in the EU over Russian steel
- 10:09that now they're trying to do the same
- 10:11thing to Russian steel in Europe that
- 10:14they already screwed Europe with Russian
- 10:17lowcost gas, Russian lowcost oil and uh
- 10:21uh any sort of petroleum products that
- 10:24coming from from Russia, any sort of
- 10:27lowcost energy of any kind and rare
- 10:29earths of any kind coming from Russia.
- 10:32The goal is still for the West to be
- 10:35able to dominate and tell Russia what
- 10:39they're going to do and artificially
- 10:42keep the price of oil low by stealing 50
- 10:47uh million barrels of oil from
- 10:49Venezuela. when you look at your your
- 10:52prices of oil in the US, I was um uh
- 10:56pleased like everybody else when you
- 10:58look at the pumps, but don't think
- 11:00that's not just as artificial as the $4
- 11:03was several years ago. Um these are
- 11:05artificial inflations and artificial
- 11:08devaluations. If you can keep us
- 11:11distracted with other um positives like
- 11:15OG oil prices and gas prices are
- 11:18affordable.
- 11:20You can hide a lot of uh a lot of
- 11:22wrongdoing in that because in general
- 11:26everybody's
- 11:29uh you know life is looking okay. you
- 11:33know, everybody is able to afford uh to
- 11:36drive to grandma's house in uh I don't
- 11:39know, Kentucky and uh um my grandma
- 11:42lived in Cincinnati, but uh both of
- 11:44them. And uh so uh I don't know where
- 11:48you drive, but whatever. Maybe you can
- 11:50afford to get there now cuz gas prices
- 11:52are lower and people can take road
- 11:54trips. One of the best things to do in
- 11:56America is take a road trip. If you
- 11:58haven't gotten on Interstate 80 headed
- 12:01west, you're missing out. People, you
- 12:04know, Kuster Battlefield out that way,
- 12:06driving across South Dakota and then
- 12:08across Wyoming, those are and into into
- 12:11Idaho, those are fantastic drives and
- 12:15any time of year, but especially in the
- 12:17summers when you see the plains and and
- 12:19all that stuff. And uh there are tons
- 12:23and tons of uh national parks up that
- 12:27way. So anyway, if you keep the prices
- 12:30of energy low,
- 12:33you can hide a lot of wrongdoing. And so
- 12:35that's a lot to say to get to uh to both
- 12:40the Munich security conference which had
- 12:43nothing to do with Munich, the release
- 12:46at the same time of this anti-bricks
- 12:51uh I don't know rhetoric that is that
- 12:54has come out or the we've defeated them.
- 12:57the Nalli OG some guys killed him or
- 13:01Putin killed him with frog poison
- 13:03nonsense. And um [laughter]
- 13:06and I don't even care if it's true. It's
- 13:08still nonsense. It's and I I find it
- 13:11extremely hard to believe. And once
- 13:13again, here's the doubting Sam and me.
- 13:15And uh uh I need to relate to you
- 13:18something about the doubting Sam
- 13:20portion. And I know there's a lot of
- 13:22doubting Americans and I hate to be
- 13:25always questioning. That's been me my
- 13:29entire life. I've I've I've said that. I
- 13:32always question. Just because somebody
- 13:34said it doesn't make it true. And
- 13:38[clears throat]
- 13:39I have always wanted to know more. Yeah.
- 13:43But why? I always have a question. Well,
- 13:45why does that work that way? How does
- 13:47that work that way? I don't get it.
- 13:49[laughter]
- 13:49I don't get it. Give me something more.
- 13:52I don't just accept the Oh, gee, the sky
- 13:54is blue, you know. I want to know. All
- 13:57right. Is that really blue? Is
- 13:59[laughter] is it I I see blue as being a
- 14:02lot more blue than this uh uh than this
- 14:05color. You know, maybe my form of blue
- 14:07is a deeper blue, and I want to know why
- 14:09this guy can change colors of different
- 14:11blue or different hue of blue or
- 14:14whatever. And uh so I'm a just a
- 14:17questioning individual. Okay. And a lot
- 14:19of people don't want to do that. They
- 14:20won't question why gas is suddenly $2.40
- 14:24a gallon. And uh two years ago it was
- 14:26$4. Also unexplained, also artificial.
- 14:30And but they won't ask when it's
- 14:32artificially low. Well, who would? You
- 14:35just need to, you know, a lot of people
- 14:37in including me, it's like, you know,
- 14:39just shut up and not say anything. You
- 14:41don't want these idiots to raise the
- 14:43price on you again. You know, maybe it's
- 14:46good we we stole all this uh uh uh what
- 14:49do you call it? Uh petroleum uh products
- 14:53from u Venezuela and maybe it's good
- 14:56that we're we're keeping the price of of
- 14:58oil low globally and uh so that we can
- 15:02defeat you know strategically defeat
- 15:04Russia and but it and it hurting it
- 15:07hurts everyone. Okay. And the only ones
- 15:09that are allowed to benefit according to
- 15:11those who say that that Trump is the u
- 15:14beall end all and has a huge plan to
- 15:17take over the world for the next three
- 15:19years um and and leave it into you know
- 15:24a golden period this three-year golden
- 15:26period you know unless we can steal uh
- 15:30and and and put our own people back in
- 15:32Venezuela put another set in Canada a
- 15:35third set in uh um Greenland
- 15:38and then somehow keep China out of
- 15:41Taiwan and blow up Iran with Israel. I
- 15:44mean, there's all of these things
- 15:46interlocking and trying to go together.
- 15:48I I just sometimes make jokes about it.
- 15:51It's like, yeah, but does one really
- 15:52affect the other? It's there's no doubt
- 15:55in my mind that the the theft of uh 50
- 15:58million barrels of of oil from Venezuela
- 16:02and and claiming that they've given it
- 16:04to us is uh uh
- 16:08you know
- 16:10[laughter]
- 16:11effects there's some effect on it right
- 16:14now there's conversations going on and
- 16:17and uh because what the effect is that
- 16:19they're trying to get it's all over the
- 16:21TV even now that Trump was trying to get
- 16:24additionally a break with Iran. They
- 16:28want to take Iran out of where? Post
- 16:32Maduro Venezuela. They're trying to take
- 16:35uh whatever her name is. The the uh I
- 16:38forget her name. Rodriguez, was it? I
- 16:40can't remember her new name. Um I I want
- 16:43to say Rodriguez, but what the hell do I
- 16:45know? And uh so will Caracus break with
- 16:48Iran? US is pushing for Venezuela
- 16:50investment and energy sector warns about
- 16:54legitimate of legitimacy of Chinese
- 16:57deals because those deals are
- 16:58legitimate. They have legitimate deals
- 17:00on the table where they put a hundred
- 17:03billion dollars uh into uh uh over the
- 17:08last periods of time into Venezuela. So
- 17:12all of these things maybe they're all
- 17:15background noise for the exact same
- 17:17result that you get to publish on a
- 17:19piece of paper and say bricks is dead.
- 17:21Okay. Uh but on the other side of the
- 17:24planet and maybe that is the case. Okay.
- 17:27Maybe that's the case. But on the other
- 17:29side of the planet there is an article
- 17:32that came out that says the following.
- 17:37World news. Okay. This is a new world
- 17:39news link.
- 17:42This one came out 17th of February
- 17:44today.
- 17:46Bricks needs
- 17:49strategic maritime cooperation.
- 17:52Cooperation between the navies of member
- 17:54countries would help protect sea lanes,
- 17:58said Nikolai Patrushev.
- 18:01The BRICS countries need strategic
- 18:04maritime cooperation in order to enhance
- 18:06security along global shipping lanes
- 18:09from western piracy from Trump stealing
- 18:13uh ships and we need to have some kind
- 18:16of uh you know we're escalating and
- 18:18going war talk here. Uh Russian
- 18:22presidential aid Nikolai Petrushv's
- 18:24comments calling for cooperation between
- 18:27bricks countries comes at a time when
- 18:29the US is seizing tankers
- 18:33all illegally by the way law for for you
- 18:38not for me I create the law I am king
- 18:42Trump and this is I don't have to worry
- 18:45about those I seize tankers why because
- 18:49I claim they are transporting sanctioned
- 18:52oil. And so what uh this Petrusev said
- 18:55was we will tap into the potential of
- 18:58bricks which needs to be given
- 19:00full-fledged strategic maritime
- 19:03dimension. He told the Russian outlet
- 19:05argument faci and that means arguments
- 19:09and facts obviously on Monday. The
- 19:12member countries are already conducting
- 19:15joint naval exercises, said Petrus,
- 19:19citing drills held in January and
- 19:20February. Um,
- 19:24let's see. That's what Patrruv said.
- 19:26There's a nice little video of it that
- 19:28you can watch. And then they talk about
- 19:30the joint uh maritime exercises um and
- 19:33how long they run. And it says the wi
- 19:36will for peace. Uh, and you know what?
- 19:39This is this is a Sam commentary when
- 19:42when you have an an [clears throat] an
- 19:45activity a war games something like that
- 19:49uh called will for peace 2026
- 19:54that's a hell of a lot different than
- 19:56golden dagger 2027
- 20:00you know where we go in and we kick the
- 20:02crap out of the next country in line
- 20:05right started off of the coast of this
- 20:08these uh will for peace case started off
- 20:10the coast of Cape Town, South Africa,
- 20:12days after the US forces seized a
- 20:15Russian flagged oil tanker over claims
- 20:18it breached Washington sanctions against
- 20:21Venezuela. Russia, China, and Iran
- 20:24participated in the maneuvers.
- 20:25Patrushev, who was also the chairman of
- 20:27the Russian Maritime Board, said the UAE
- 20:31also took part in the exercises. Now
- 20:35that's curious. Remember UAE is a a
- 20:37block member. Moscow has condemned the
- 20:41recent seizure of Russian cargo vessels
- 20:44which Western countries conduct under
- 20:46various pretenses. Everything's a
- 20:48pretense with the West. They get to uh
- 20:51impose illegal rules like this. This is
- 20:55not a posturing politically. This is
- 20:59theft. That's all it is. So, but it
- 21:02keeps our gas down or our our uh fuel
- 21:05for our vehicles and everything down to
- 21:07uh under $2.50 a gallon. So, we should
- 21:11all be up and cheering for this type of
- 21:13thing, right? We get a beat up on the
- 21:15Russian and Venezuelan and many other uh
- 21:19what do you call it? Economies around
- 21:22the world. Uh but that's okay. We're
- 21:24America, right? This is this is this is
- 21:26what we do. This is long as we can keep
- 21:29the masses shut up. This is like the,
- 21:31you know, uh, let them eat cake. What
- 21:34was the French queen said? All that, let
- 21:36them eat cake. You know, uh, give them
- 21:38cake. As long as long as they got their
- 21:40cake, life is going to be good. Uh, and
- 21:42and then for us, the cake is the uh, oil
- 21:46products, right? So NATO countries are
- 21:49plotting an illegal maritime blockade of
- 21:52Russia, particularly in the Baltic and
- 21:54Arctic. Moscow's ambassador to Norway,
- 21:57Nikolai Cortunov, said recently. The
- 22:00US-led block is developing plans for a
- 22:03partial or complete naval blockade of
- 22:06the country, said the envoy. These
- 22:08comments came after reports that US
- 22:10defense or UK defense secretary John
- 22:13Healey met with counterparts in the
- 22:15Baltic and Nordic nations on the
- 22:17sidelines of the Munich Security
- 22:19Conference where they were all rattling
- 22:20sabers for war. you know, more war to
- 22:24discuss the seizing of Russia linked oil
- 22:27tankers.
- 22:29And Trump is defending his push for
- 22:31Greenland as a way to counter Russia,
- 22:33China, while Moscow and Beijing
- 22:35dismissed these claims. They're talking
- 22:36about uh uh you know, the the keeping
- 22:39the sea lanes safe. NATO is planning to
- 22:42increase its military presence in the
- 22:44Arctic around Greenland, a spokesman for
- 22:46the block said earlier this month. Now
- 22:48that's kind of driven by the uh um
- 22:52EU members more than the US members and
- 22:56Canada is involved in that as well. And
- 22:59people are like look part now they're
- 23:01just as worried. Well, first of all,
- 23:04they're not worried that China or Russia
- 23:07are going to take over Greenland.
- 23:08Nobody's been worried about that. That's
- 23:10not even a serious uh complaint. You
- 23:13know, they're not worried about that.
- 23:15It's it's it's nonsense for for us to be
- 23:18claiming that oh gee that's in the plans
- 23:20but it is in the plans and you can
- 23:23believe what Trump says even if you
- 23:25believe that it's just posturing you
- 23:27know and when I first heard it I laughed
- 23:30about it when he first said it way back
- 23:32when and I don't laugh about it anymore
- 23:35I think the guy's gone off the deep end
- 23:38as far as all of that stuff that oh gee
- 23:40I'm the king I can do what I want you
- 23:43know forget law doesn't matter and law
- 23:46has been completely ignored
- 23:49to so far and and now we're becoming
- 23:52used to it. You know, I given you lots
- 23:54of discussions about Carney and lots of
- 23:57things about um the hedging of bets in
- 24:00the EU and otherwise. And I believe
- 24:03they're all just doing the typical
- 24:05bureaucrat person in power thing when
- 24:08you're dealing with a big bully is
- 24:11they're just marking time until he's
- 24:13gone. And hopefully they can go back to
- 24:16business as usual. That's why the Marco
- 24:18Rubio rise and the uh the keeping of the
- 24:22u unit party the the uh neocons and the
- 24:27and the democrats all all aligned
- 24:31[laughter] with the same desires is uh
- 24:35it will rise again and now they'll just
- 24:37claim well well gez you know Trump was
- 24:39really good for us [laughter]
- 24:41because he stole Venezuela maybe he'll
- 24:44steal Greenland and if they do they'll
- 24:46never give it back. So they take these
- 24:49extreme positions. But so but I can tell
- 24:52you this, if the America did seize
- 24:54Greenland, they're not going to give it
- 24:55back. Okay? So the these stories about
- 24:59bricks uh creating the or disappearing
- 25:02because Trump is posturing
- 25:05are far less likely uh
- 25:09than
- 25:11further escalation of wartime
- 25:15footing on both sides. And now the
- 25:18discussion about bricks needing
- 25:20strategic maritime cooperation.
- 25:23There's also the article about the steel
- 25:26which I wish to share with you because
- 25:28now what are we on? Sanction package
- 25:31number number 20 just went by. I think
- 25:34we're on sanction package number 21 now.
- 25:37You know to bring Russia to its knees.
- 25:41Um I'll share with you the um
- 25:45uh we need we somebody also urged it
- 25:48might even be the same guy urged uh
- 25:52retaliation to western piracy. Um,
- 25:55meanwhile, everybody has to keep u
- 26:00naysayers like Orbin in line and uh kick
- 26:04any Russians out of their country.
- 26:06According to Zalinski and and if you
- 26:10haven't heard his uh FU bombs uh while
- 26:14he was at the uh security conference in
- 26:18um in Munich, you should listen to him,
- 26:21but the guy's nuts. And uh well, in my
- 26:25opinion, that's of course Sam's opinion.
- 26:27He may or may not be nuts, but he uh
- 26:30certainly uh is is non-diplomatic. Let's
- 26:34put it that way. So, the the next uh
- 26:36thing I'd like to share with you is the
- 26:38highstakes fight
- 26:40erupting in the EU.
- 26:43This is through Euro News over Russian
- 26:46steel. Lawmakers are attempting a
- 26:49backodor ban and it's facing resistance
- 26:53from people that rely upon such imports.
- 26:55You know, Russian steel, uh,
- 26:57inexpensive.
- 26:59So, the European Union is bracing itself
- 27:01for yet another fight over a proposed
- 27:04ban on Russian steel imports as
- 27:06lawmakers attempt to push restrictions
- 27:09through a legislative backdoor. members
- 27:12of the European Parliament and EU
- 27:14members. All these people are unelected
- 27:16by the way uh state uh you know they
- 27:20will begin negotiations next week on
- 27:22whether now to completely ban Russian
- 27:25steel in line with a wider EU sanctions
- 27:28campaign over Ukraine. So the standard
- 27:32people, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic,
- 27:34and Denmark are resisting this measure,
- 27:38saying they rely on Russian semifinished
- 27:42steel for further processing, said Euro
- 27:45News on Tuesday. What began as sanctions
- 27:48debate morphed into a highstakes
- 27:51political fight, according to the
- 27:53outlet. Uh so the attached steel ban,
- 27:57you know, they have attached it to a
- 27:59separate piece of legislation like we do
- 28:02in the United States. You know, you
- 28:03could have legislation on who knows what
- 28:07um I don't know uh the banning of u
- 28:12building buildings in u uh state parks.
- 28:17Let's let's say that. and you have one
- 28:20topic and what you can do is you can
- 28:22throw on in there something about
- 28:24transgender rights, you know, and slide
- 28:26that in as part of another Well, here's
- 28:29a paragraph. And by the way, uh, nobody
- 28:32can say the word transgender on the
- 28:36airwaves without uh, paying a fine, you
- 28:38know, something like that. And you can
- 28:40just slide in a little paragraph and get
- 28:42people to say, "Well, gee, I want this
- 28:44one thing, and I don't really care about
- 28:45transgender rights." All right, I'll
- 28:47sign it. Well, that's what they're
- 28:49trying to do in Europe is uh slide in
- 28:53with a separate piece of legislation, a
- 28:56bill renewing steel safeguards that
- 28:59expire in June under World Trade
- 29:01Organization rule. Safeguards are
- 29:03designed to protect the uh EU steel
- 29:06industry from global over global over
- 29:09capacity. Unlike sanctions that require
- 29:11unanimous support, trade files need only
- 29:15a qualified majority. So they're back to
- 29:17the same old tricks. The maneuver allows
- 29:19the European Parliament to bypass
- 29:22countries that otherwise could veto
- 29:24Orbin. Hello. The Parliament is playing
- 29:27politics again. An industry source told
- 29:29Euro News, one diplomat insists that
- 29:32banning Russian steel and protecting the
- 29:34EU from over capacity totally are
- 29:36totally different goals. Russia
- 29:39consistently dismisses sanctions on
- 29:41production. Uh Moscow maintains a
- 29:44measure hurts EU more than it hurts
- 29:45Russia. That's absolutely true. Uh
- 29:48Russia has a pretty captive audience to
- 29:50the east.
- 29:53The European Union doesn't produce
- 29:54enough steel and semi finished products
- 29:57to meet its own needs and is heavily
- 29:59reliant on imports. Gee, wonder where
- 30:03they'll get them. Perhaps the US and our
- 30:06gas prices will go down even further. So
- 30:09the campaign is being led by Swedish MP
- 30:12uh Karen Carlsboro who has expressed
- 30:15astonishment that EU imports of Russian
- 30:17steel are nearly 3 million tons annually
- 30:21or 1.78 billion dollar. Sweden produces
- 30:25semi-finish steel as well including
- 30:27steel slabs. The volume of Russian
- 30:30imports is equivalent to Sweden's entire
- 30:33yearly steel output.
- 30:36Current EU sanctions prohibit Russian
- 30:38finished steel. Semi-finished steel
- 30:41remains permitted under quota system
- 30:43designed to phase it out by 2028.
- 30:47So there you have it. Um
- 30:50let's talk about what the the US is uh
- 30:54attempting to do here. Was there was an
- 30:57interesting
- 30:59uh article. I've talked a little bit
- 31:00about it and uh then I want to get into
- 31:03my my review of uh of of Putin because I
- 31:09I want to share that with you. And let's
- 31:13see here. But can you buy a country is
- 31:16the name of the article came out this
- 31:19morning.
- 31:20Um, and it's a
- 31:23reasonably long article and so and it
- 31:27has some um uh some uh pretty good facts
- 31:30in it. That's why I want to share it. I
- 31:32like this story and it's by a guy named
- 31:34Yeni Norin and he's a Russian journalist
- 31:37and historian and uh you know he's
- 31:40focused on war conflict and uh you know
- 31:43history and it's a pretty good article
- 31:46you know full of u maps and uh stories.
- 31:49So, and uh it's short enough. It's not
- 31:52going to take long. 5 8 minutes,
- 31:54something like that. Uh when US
- 31:56President Trump revived the idea of
- 31:59buying Greenland and refused to to rule
- 32:02out stronger measures if Denmark
- 32:05declined. I'll take it over. Sell it to
- 32:07me or I'm going to come kick your ass.
- 32:09Uh the reactions across Europe were
- 32:12swift and indignant. The proposal was
- 32:14framed as an anacronism, a throwback to
- 32:16imperial horse trading. We always want
- 32:19to talk about whenever Trump speaks,
- 32:21he's only horse trading. It's art of the
- 32:23deal. That modern international politics
- 32:25has supposedly outgrown. They haven't.
- 32:28We still do it. But if we don't get what
- 32:30we want, we just go steal it. But the
- 32:33outrage obscures an uncomfortable
- 32:35historic reality.
- 32:38United States not only forged through
- 32:40revolution and war, it also builds
- 32:44through transactions.
- 32:46Largecale territorial purchases
- 32:48concluded at moments when the balance of
- 32:51power left the seller with limited
- 32:54options. Now, that's where Trump is
- 32:56creating these options. That's why I
- 32:58wanted to share these and Trump is
- 33:01engaging in the deal. So, those of you
- 33:02who who live, breathe, and and eat
- 33:05Trump, you're going to love this. you're
- 33:07going to eat all this stuff up. You know
- 33:08that, oh jeez, he's great salesman.
- 33:11Well, he's not supposed to be a
- 33:12salesman.
- 33:13[laughter] He's looking out for us. No,
- 33:16he's creating his legacy. And uh that's
- 33:19all he's doing. Uh from continental
- 33:21expanses to strategic islands,
- 33:23Washington repeatedly has expanded its
- 33:26reach by writing checks backed by
- 33:30leverage. Backed by military leverage. I
- 33:33say if the idea of buying land now
- 33:37sounds jarring, it is worth recalling
- 33:39that some of the largest such deals
- 33:41helped shape the United States into the
- 33:44country we know today. To understand why
- 33:48Greenland debate resonates so strongly,
- 33:51we need to revisit the major acquisition
- 33:53that redrew the American map.
- 33:58Louisiana, the biggest purchase.
- 34:02French explorers ventured into the
- 34:03Mississippi Valley in the late 17th
- 34:06century, claiming new territory and
- 34:09named this vast expanse Louisiana after
- 34:12King Louie the 14th. In 1718, they
- 34:16established New Orleans at the mouth of
- 34:18the Mississippi and gradually populated
- 34:22the colony not just with French
- 34:24settlers, but also through policies
- 34:27enacted by Louisie that granted freedom
- 34:30to children born of unions between white
- 34:33settlers and black slaves. Still, the
- 34:37population was sparse. The region's bad
- 34:40climate and complex relationships with
- 34:42Native Americans made settlement
- 34:44difficult. As a result, France France
- 34:47didn't particularly value this
- 34:50territory.
- 34:52Despite its huge size,
- 34:55French Louisiana encompassed not just
- 34:58modern-day Louisiana, but either
- 35:01partially or wholly the modern states of
- 35:05Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri,
- 35:08Colorado, Wyoming, North and South
- 35:11Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Montana,
- 35:15Nebraska, Texas, only the east half, New
- 35:19Mexico, and even parts of Canada.
- 35:24Despite this, it is hard to find a
- 35:26Frenchman. Uh, it was hard to find a
- 35:29Frenchman beyond New Orleans. Okay? And
- 35:32so they owned all this New Orleans and
- 35:34it went all the way up through Ottawa,
- 35:37Canada, Quebec, Canada and all the way
- 35:40up all to New Foundland almost. Okay.
- 35:43Well, all the way to New Foundland and
- 35:45uh so different parts of it. Um, and and
- 35:49remember they were huge up in the up in
- 35:52the uh Great Lakes area, the French and
- 35:55Spain owned parts of uh, you know,
- 35:58Texas, Florida, stuff like that. And in
- 36:00between them were, you know, Louisiana
- 36:04is with that port of Louisiana, but it
- 36:06went all the way up to Fort Bourbon in
- 36:11um, what which which one is that? It
- 36:14it's that's not Ottawa. Uh it's well
- 36:17Quebec and Ottawa in Ontario up in the
- 36:20up in the uh Great Lakes areas is where
- 36:24they are. And so these territories were
- 36:27seated by France to Great Britain in the
- 36:29Treaty of Ultrect in 1713.
- 36:33Okay. And so Great Britain owned the
- 36:36parts that were east, but all that was
- 36:38there, the the Louisiana territories
- 36:42were uh you know, the 13 original states
- 36:45basically. And the French had forts
- 36:47everywhere. Um Fort Bourbon way up
- 36:50north, Fort Defrain, Fort L, these are
- 36:52in Canada, Fort St. Pierre, uh uh Fort I
- 36:57can't even pronounce that one, but there
- 36:58are hundreds of them, you know, through
- 37:00Quebec all the way through. They're all
- 37:02these forts. Anyway, story continues.
- 37:041763, following a seven years war,
- 37:07France seated Louisiana to Spain. The
- 37:10Spanish administration didn't oppress
- 37:12the French settlers and manage the
- 37:14colony competently. However, much of
- 37:16this enormous land remained largely
- 37:19uninhabited, aside from the Native
- 37:21Americans, the total number of settlers,
- 37:23including black slaves, amounted to
- 37:25several tens of thousands of people. By
- 37:28the early 19th century, Europe saw many
- 37:31changes. Napoleon regained control of
- 37:34Louisiana, aiming to revive France's
- 37:37overseas empire. However, this ambition
- 37:40crumbled when his attempt to restore
- 37:42French rule in Haiti failed. A force
- 37:44sent by Napoleon was decimated by black
- 37:47rebels and succumbed to tropical
- 37:50disease. Against this backdrop, Napoleon
- 37:53quickly realized he could not hold
- 37:55Louisiana and the English or Americans
- 37:57would easily seize it. As for the US, it
- 38:00had mixed feelings about Louisiana.
- 38:02Controlling the mouth of the Mississippi
- 38:04was crucial, but Americans were also
- 38:06wary of potential French aggression.
- 38:08Finally, US President Thomas Jefferson
- 38:11initiated negotiations with France for
- 38:14the purchase of Louisiana.
- 38:17Napoleon saw this as a big opportunity.
- 38:19He recognized he could get real money by
- 38:22selling the territory which France
- 38:24didn't really need and couldn't control.
- 38:27Anyway,
- 38:29Jefferson and the American side
- 38:30initially aimed to purchase only New
- 38:32Orleans and the surrounding areas and
- 38:34offered 10 million. However, the French
- 38:36surprised their American counterparts.
- 38:39They asked for 15 million,
- 38:42but as part of the deal offered vast
- 38:45territory stretching all the way to
- 38:47Canada. [laughter]
- 38:48Beyond New Orleans, the French
- 38:50essentially sold the freedom of uh to
- 38:52claim land inhabited by Native
- 38:54Americans. The French had very little
- 38:56control over this territory. The Native
- 38:58Americans didn't even understand what
- 39:00the sale entailed. In fact, aside from
- 39:02the Native Americans, the vast territory
- 39:04was inhabited only by 60,000 settlers,
- 39:08including black slaves. Regardless, the
- 39:10deal was concluded and America's
- 39:11territory effectively doubled overnight.
- 39:14Robert Livingston, one of the founding
- 39:16fathers and a US ambassador to France,
- 39:18famously declared, "We have lived long,
- 39:21but this is the noblest work of our
- 39:23whole lives. [laughter]
- 39:26From this day, the United States will
- 39:29take their place among the powers of the
- 39:32first rank.
- 39:35So, you get somebody who can't control a
- 39:38piece of property and you get to take it
- 39:40all. It's already owned by Indians, but
- 39:42you don't care about that. And it goes
- 39:45all the way through the Idaho River
- 39:47[laughter]
- 39:48or ID Snake River, whatever that is up
- 39:50there that divides the uh the Idaho line
- 39:53and almost all the way through Montana
- 39:55all the way up to the uh Canadian
- 39:57border. And uh all they really wanted
- 40:00was the port to enter the Mississippi
- 40:04uh because this was all west of the
- 40:06Mississippi, right? So that's that uh
- 40:10that [clears throat] that was the
- 40:11Louisiana purchase. Florida in
- 40:13Louisiana's footsteps. In the case of
- 40:15Louisiana, both parties were pleased
- 40:17with the agreement. However, when it
- 40:19came to Florida, the seller wasn't
- 40:21particularly thrilled.
- 40:24Spain discovered Florida in 1513.
- 40:29At the time, however, Spain didn't see
- 40:31much value in the territory, and early
- 40:33colonization efforts were sluggish. It
- 40:36was main uh mainly used as military
- 40:38outpost. In the 18th century, Britain
- 40:41seized Florida from Spain, but during
- 40:43the American War of Independence, Spain,
- 40:45Spain regained control of the colony,
- 40:48similar to the situation with France and
- 40:50Louisiana. However, formal ownership did
- 40:52not equate to actual territory
- 40:56authority in the territory. Meanwhile,
- 40:59American settlers flooded into Florida.
- 41:02Conflict smoldered at the border.
- 41:04American settlers encroached upon
- 41:06Spanish land turned Florida into a
- 41:08constant battleground, including the US,
- 41:11Native Americans, and occasionally the
- 41:13British. Spain struggled to respond
- 41:16effectively
- 41:18to these incursions. Furthermore,
- 41:20between 1807 and 1814, Spain was
- 41:23embroiled in a grueling war against
- 41:25Napoleon, during which the French
- 41:27temporarily occupied mainland Spain. And
- 41:30after the war, Spain was devastated and
- 41:32unable to fend off the Seinal Indians
- 41:34who were raiding the colony. Frustrated
- 41:36by the issues caused by the Seinals, the
- 41:39Americans occupied most of Florida,
- 41:42claiming that the land had essentially
- 41:44been abandoned.
- 41:46Yeah, Indians don't count. They've
- 41:48abandoned it. So, Spain decided that any
- 41:51gain was better than losing the
- 41:53territory outright. America offered to
- 41:56compensate Spain $5 million for the
- 41:59damage resulting from its own invasions.
- 42:01And by 1819, Spain had no choice but to
- 42:05seed Florida to the United States. So
- 42:10that's what happened.
- 42:12The Virgin Islands. The 19th century was
- 42:16the age of colonial empire, but the US
- 42:20acquired the Virgin Islands in the 20th
- 42:22century during the First World War.
- 42:25Denmark isn't the first country that
- 42:28comes to mind when discussing the
- 42:30struggle for control over the Caribbean.
- 42:32But in 1672,
- 42:34the Danish West India Company annexed
- 42:37the small island of St. Thomas, followed
- 42:40shortly after by the island of St. John.
- 42:43Denmark may have been an unusual
- 42:45colonizer, but its ambitions were quite
- 42:48ordinary. The Danes established sugar
- 42:50plantations and relied on slave labor.
- 42:53Sugar was the backbone of the uh Virgin
- 42:56Island economy. But by the mid-9th
- 42:59century, global market prices plummeted
- 43:01and prompted the Danes to consider
- 43:04getting rid of this asset. Meanwhile,
- 43:08America was interested in acquiring the
- 43:10port of St. Thomas, but at the time the
- 43:13deal fell through. US decided that
- 43:16Alaska was a better investment and
- 43:18purchased it from Russia, which didn't
- 43:20need this remote territory. I remember I
- 43:22did several weeks ago a uh a deal well a
- 43:26couple of months ago I guess uh did an
- 43:29analysis of the uh purchase and why a
- 43:32bridge between um uh a bridge through
- 43:36the bearing straight would be a a useful
- 43:38deal. Anyway, US decided that Alaska was
- 43:41a better investment. Perched it from
- 43:43Russia which didn't need that northern
- 43:45remote territory for Russia. Alaska was
- 43:47far away, hard to defend all the way on
- 43:50the other end of its huge continental
- 43:52gains that it had already held. Uh, plus
- 43:55the Russians already reaped a quick
- 43:57profit from it. So, the Virgin Islands
- 44:00remained under Danish control until the
- 44:0220th century. During World War I, the
- 44:05Americans revisited the idea of
- 44:07acquiring the Virgin Islands.
- 44:10Officially, the US was concerned that
- 44:12Germany might seize Denmark and take
- 44:14over the islands using them as a
- 44:17submarine base. It sounded like a
- 44:19pretext. Gee, surprise, surprise, since
- 44:22building a base so close to the US would
- 44:25not have been an easy task, and
- 44:27supplying it would have been even
- 44:29harder. Regardless, the US decided to
- 44:32acquire the Virgin Islands, and Denmark
- 44:34received an offer it couldn't ignore. US
- 44:38President Woodro Wilson sent a clear
- 44:41warning. If Denmark didn't sell the
- 44:43islands,
- 44:46America would occupy them, [laughter] of
- 44:48course, merely to prevent them from
- 44:50falling into German hands. To soften the
- 44:54blow, Wilson sweetened the deal with an
- 44:56offer of 25 million in gold, which was
- 44:59about half of Denmark's annual budget at
- 45:02the time.
- 45:05Sound familiar?
- 45:07Initially, Copenhogen uh hesitated,
- 45:11especially in the economic significance
- 45:13of the islands growing after the opening
- 45:16of the Panama Canal. But the Americans
- 45:20made it clear that the islands would
- 45:23fall under US control eventually,
- 45:26[laughter]
- 45:26either the easy way or the hard way.
- 45:30Does that sound familiar? Denmark held a
- 45:33referendum and handed over the islands
- 45:35to the United States. In August 1916,
- 45:39the two sides agreed to the sale. As
- 45:43part of the agreement, the US
- 45:44acknowledged Denmark's rights to
- 45:46Greenland.
- 45:48By 1917, all the formalities were
- 45:50settled. The islands changed the flag.
- 45:52Water Island uh was sold separately in
- 45:561944.
- 45:58Interestingly, after World War II, the
- 46:01US once again turned its attention to
- 46:03Greenland, seeking to acquire it in the
- 46:06context of the Cold War. Denmark
- 46:10refused, though US bases were
- 46:12established there. At one point, a
- 46:15strategic bomber carrying nuclear
- 46:17weapons crashed above Greenland. A fact
- 46:20the Danish public was wisely kept in the
- 46:24dark about. There was actually an
- 46:26X-files uh uh story about that. They
- 46:30always try to keep some of it. So in
- 46:32that sense, Donald Trump's proposals are
- 46:36less unprecedented than they appear. The
- 46:40United States, sorry, lost my uh throat
- 46:44there, has expanded its territory
- 46:46through purchases for more than two
- 46:48centuries. Sometimes the seller was
- 46:52relieved to dispose of a distant or
- 46:54costly possessions. At other times,
- 46:57agreement following mounting pressure
- 46:59and strategic imbalance.
- 47:02Expansion through transaction has never
- 47:05been an exception in American history.
- 47:08It is a recurring method. Trump's
- 47:11interest in Greenland fits squarely into
- 47:14that historical pattern. Like his
- 47:17predecessors, he appears to be drawn to
- 47:20the symbolism of enlarging America's
- 47:23strategic footprint. Of course, a better
- 47:27idea might be to wait until Denmark
- 47:30finds itself in a crisis and then come
- 47:33out with a bag full of cash. But the
- 47:36wait may be long, and patience is not
- 47:40Trump's strong suit. [laughter]
- 47:42So, I enjoyed that article. I hope you
- 47:46did. And uh you know, I don't speak to
- 47:48the to all of the uh detail in that, but
- 47:51and I know my history too. I know that
- 47:54we did those uh and and those purchases
- 47:58uh whether you agree or disagree, you
- 48:00know, there's a number of people out
- 48:01there to, you know, claim no matter
- 48:03what, no matter how you slice it, we
- 48:06didn't own it in the first place. It was
- 48:08not uh Francis to sell.
- 48:11[laughter]
- 48:12You don't just
- 48:15going into uh Venezuela for example and
- 48:19just saying well you're going to come
- 48:20along or not and not give not give any
- 48:24money in fact you make them pay with 50
- 48:2650 million uh barrels of uh oil is is is
- 48:31one thing and at least it's clear you
- 48:32know we did that to steal your oil you
- 48:34know and and and we admit it perfectly
- 48:37and uh but I liked the article I think
- 48:40it was great a very good Um, a very good
- 48:45uh um article and and history. I like
- 48:50it. Um, now I wanted to go to the uh the
- 48:54retaliation to uh or the thoughts that
- 48:58have that have come out on Zalinsk's uh
- 49:01fbomb. I don't know if everybody heard
- 49:03what he said. It hasn't been promoted
- 49:06over here like it is. The guy's really
- 49:08he he's a terrible diplomat. All he is
- 49:11is a beggar. wanders around, you know,
- 49:13with his hat in his hand and it's always
- 49:15turned upside down so you could put more
- 49:17cash in it. You right. And so he he went
- 49:20on a rant the other day
- 49:23in Munich. And so uh what he said was
- 49:28um Ukrainian leader Zalinski delivered a
- 49:32profanity laden tirade urging Western
- 49:35countries to expel Russian citizens and
- 49:38students. Speaking to Politico Playbook
- 49:41on the sidelines the Munich Security
- 49:44Conference Saturday, Zalinski called on
- 49:47President Trump and European leaders to
- 49:50ramp up sanctions against Moscow.
- 49:53Europeans
- 49:54still didn't put sanctions on nuclear
- 49:57energy of Russians, on the state-run
- 50:01energy company Ross Atom, on people, on
- 50:04their relatives, on their children that
- 50:06live in Europe, that live in the United
- 50:09States, which study in the universities
- 50:11of Europe, which have real estate in the
- 50:13United States, said Zillinski.
- 50:17So they have a lot of real estate. They
- 50:19have children,
- 50:22relatives everywhere.
- 50:25[ __ ] away to Russia. Go home, he said.
- 50:30And those are his words. Zilinsk's
- 50:32remarks come as the US, Russia, Ukraine
- 50:34prepare for round three. And uh what I
- 50:38you know there's very few places you can
- 50:41find this.
- 50:43>> Give this message to Europeans.
- 50:44Europeans made a lot but didn't put
- 50:47still sanctions on nuclear energy of
- 50:51Russians on Rosatam on people on their
- 50:54relatives on their children which live
- 50:56in Europe which live in the United
- 50:58States which study in the universities
- 51:00of Europe which have real estate in the
- 51:02United States. So they have a lot of
- 51:05real estate they have children relatives
- 51:07everywhere. [ __ ] away to Russia.
- 51:11Go home. You don't respect anybody in
- 51:14the United States. You don't respect
- 51:16rules. You don't respect democracy. You
- 51:18don't respect Ukraine, Europe, etc. Go
- 51:22home. Why? It's not right. So just I
- 51:25think
- 51:28to do what he can do. I think so.
- 51:32[laughter]
- 51:33>> Well, that is your world leader right
- 51:35there. So uh FOA to uh to Russia, right?
- 51:41You don't respect uh Ukraine Ukrainian
- 51:44democracy.
- 51:46Oh yeah. You're you're a a good world
- 51:49leader [laughter]
- 51:51showing us what democracy is and can be.
- 51:55No corruption in your country at all.
- 51:58You know, Zalinski's remarks come after
- 52:00the US, Russia, Ukraine prepare for a
- 52:03third round of three-way talks in
- 52:05Geneva. Moscow uh condemns measures
- 52:08targeting Russian nationals and cultural
- 52:10cancellation of everything Russian as
- 52:14rousophobic. Uh I personally disagree
- 52:17with that type of behavior. Um you know
- 52:19citizens are citizens. You know you
- 52:21don't get a uh who knows what. Um treat
- 52:26them uh you know as expendable. You know
- 52:30it's nonsense. Uh the trip also comes
- 52:33amid a conscription crisis. I have
- 52:36plenty of videos. So there are a couple
- 52:38of videos that if you haven't seen them,
- 52:40you should go out and look at them. This
- 52:41is frightening. Okay? And uh the the
- 52:45people of Ukraine are fighting back.
- 52:47Now, of course, on the on the Ukraine
- 52:49side, what they say is, "Gee, those
- 52:52Russians, those are all uh fake." No,
- 52:55they're not. Those are Telegram things
- 52:57published by Ukrainian citizens,
- 53:00Ukrainian nationals, and they're they
- 53:02are putting them out of this
- 53:04busification patrol. So, you ought to
- 53:06see these horrific videos all over
- 53:08Telegram. [snorts] And uh what's
- 53:10happening is uh uh the people are
- 53:13standing up. They almost so this this uh
- 53:18they threw an older older man out into
- 53:20the street uh when he went up to try to
- 53:24assist in uh somebody taking a child or
- 53:27whatever. And uh they threw him out in
- 53:29the street. And so he almost got hit by
- 53:31a truck, a big truck, you know, like a
- 53:34semi style truck. and the truck driver
- 53:36got out, ran across the street and
- 53:38started beating on [laughter]
- 53:41the military uniformed uh busification
- 53:44officers, these uh recruiters who are
- 53:47actually, you know, out stealing
- 53:49citizens from off the street. Uh he went
- 53:51over and started beating him up and they
- 53:53started running down the road. They're
- 53:55running away, going down the road and
- 53:57the kid they were trying to seize and
- 53:58and take into custody and throw out on
- 54:01the front lines, he ran the other
- 54:03direction. He escaped. And another one,
- 54:06they were beating some kid in uh to
- 54:09throw him into a van. Three guys, and a
- 54:11whole crowd of people went up. They
- 54:13don't like the way these boostation
- 54:17squads are doing it. The people don't
- 54:18like it. And Zalinski told a lie the
- 54:21other day when he said that uh well,
- 54:25he has zero fact to back it up. He says
- 54:2990% of Ukraine, 90%. That's not the
- 54:32numbers I saw in any of the latest
- 54:34polls. 90% still uh support. He says no
- 54:41elections. No elections. Here we are
- 54:45coming up on two years after his
- 54:47elections were supposed to happen. And
- 54:50he says, "Oh, no, no, no. The people
- 54:51don't want 90% of the people want it."
- 54:53Yeah. What'd you get? nine people in a
- 54:56room that also have power or 10 people
- 54:58in a room and nine of them uh said,
- 55:00"Gee, let's keep you in his power
- 55:03because they don't support that. He has
- 55:06no backing of that." Listen to
- 55:08Aristovich. Listen to other Ukrainian
- 55:10people that are telling the uh more
- 55:13factual uh portions than he has the
- 55:16potential to tell and probably a lot
- 55:19less rudely. Uh Zalinsk's reputation is
- 55:22tarnished by uh multiple corruption
- 55:25scandals and his inner circle. Uh two
- 55:29government ministers and his longtime
- 55:32chief of staff have resigned in the last
- 55:34five six months. On Monday,
- 55:36anti-corruption agencies charged former
- 55:39energy minister German Galashenko
- 55:42who tried to leave the country too and
- 55:45uh f off to Israel like his his uh buddy
- 55:49Mindic and uh he was taking his money
- 55:53laundering of 100 million kicks back
- 55:55schemes in Ukraine from US and Western
- 55:58money and headed to Israel.
- 56:02Then they caught him at the border and
- 56:04uh stopped him from going out, but they
- 56:06haven't done anything about it. They
- 56:08just said you can't leave and so he is
- 56:10there in the country. So there you have
- 56:13it. Um I don't know. I also wanted to
- 56:17give to you a a story that came out
- 56:21also. Uh, Russia has long talked about
- 56:26um,
- 56:29Western pilots flying F-16s for Ukraine
- 56:33and they're they're trying to, you know,
- 56:36Western
- 56:38mercenaries are fighting on the side of
- 56:43uh, Ukraine, okay? Including US and
- 56:45Dutch pilots. So, the Ukrainian military
- 56:48is secretly using a squadron of NATO
- 56:51pilots to fly the donated US-made F-16
- 56:55jets, said the French outlet
- 56:59Intelligence Online.
- 57:02Moscow has long stated that Western
- 57:04nations are moving closer to a direct
- 57:06conflict with Russia. Well, the
- 57:08Ukrainians don't have any pilots left.
- 57:11They're all dead, you know, and it takes
- 57:13a long time to figure out how to pilot.
- 57:15an F-16. It's not something you just
- 57:18learn overnight. Uh the report, which
- 57:20Kiev denies, of course, said the covert
- 57:24missions rely primarily on experienced
- 57:26US and Dutch Air Force vets. The foreign
- 57:30personnel are deployed far from the
- 57:32front lines and focus on intercepting
- 57:35Russian long range weapons. They are not
- 57:37part of their original militaries and
- 57:40they work for Kiev as civilian
- 57:43contractors without military rank and
- 57:45outside the Ukrainian chain of command.
- 57:48That's impossible unless they're working
- 57:50for the US chain of command. A shortage
- 57:53of trained Ukrainian pilots is
- 57:55identified as the main obstacle to using
- 57:57the F-16s donated to Kiev.
- 58:01Training courses are reportedly
- 58:02undermined by language barriers, lack of
- 58:04qualified trainees, and other issues and
- 58:08have been simplified for speed. Shortly
- 58:11after the first F16s arrived in Ukraine
- 58:14in August of 2024, Kiev began losing
- 58:17those pilots
- 58:19in botched air defense missions. Four
- 58:22such incidents actually acknowledged
- 58:25many more that actually occurred.
- 58:26According to the Russians, the secret
- 58:29design foreign squadron provides pilots
- 58:31with experience needed
- 58:34to operate these advanced F-16s, said
- 58:38Intelligence Online. So Moscow says the
- 58:41Ukraine conflict is a NATO proxy war.
- 58:44Now they admit it. The [laughter] the
- 58:47French newspaper is now admitting it.
- 58:49These are, you know, and I've said this,
- 58:52American intelligence, French
- 58:54intelligence, uh, British intelligence
- 58:57are all being supplied by Elon Musk
- 59:01satellites and military satellites
- 59:03because otherwise they cannot target
- 59:06Western missiles. They cannot use
- 59:09Western weapons without the associated
- 59:14intelligence.
- 59:15That's how it works. So uh western
- 59:19specialists uh have been involved in
- 59:21Ukrainian strikes using storm shadows
- 59:24scalps. These are air launch cruise
- 59:26missiles on Russian territory especially
- 59:29recently. German officials opposed
- 59:33supplying tourist missiles because
- 59:35Ukrainians cannot launch them
- 59:37independently. They also can't launch
- 59:40Storm Shadows, Scalps, Himars, any of
- 59:43the American ones. they you know they
- 59:46can't launch them without
- 59:49um
- 59:52military intelligence supplied by the
- 59:54source country. So Russia says western
- 59:57nations uh support gives recruitment of
- 1:00:00course and mercenaries from among their
- 1:00:03military veterans. Ambassador at Large
- 1:00:06Rodian Marosnik estimates that around
- 1:00:0920,000 foreign fighters have taken part
- 1:00:13in the conflict on the Ukrainian side.
- 1:00:17Poland in a recent article, this came
- 1:00:19out on the 14th of February,
- 1:00:23is trying to give amnesty to mercenaries
- 1:00:27that have fought for Kiev. And they will
- 1:00:30cover all crimes committed by Polish
- 1:00:32citizens
- 1:00:35since when?
- 1:00:372014.
- 1:00:402014. So the lower house of the Polish
- 1:00:44Parliament adopted legislation that
- 1:00:46gives amnesty to Polish citizens who
- 1:00:49fought as mercenaries in Ukraine at any
- 1:00:51time basically after 2014. And they're
- 1:00:54formalizing Warsaw's endorsement of
- 1:00:57participation in the conflict. As long
- 1:01:00as you're fighting against Russia, fine.
- 1:01:02You know, we'll forgive you. Go and kill
- 1:01:04away. Have fun.
- 1:01:07The bill was approved
- 1:01:10by the same and I for I forget how he
- 1:01:13say that. I knew it at one point on
- 1:01:15Friday in a near unanimous vote. 406
- 1:01:18deputies in favor, 19 abstaining, and
- 1:01:21only four opposing. That's Poland for
- 1:01:24you. The legislation will now proceed to
- 1:01:27the Senate where it is also expected to
- 1:01:29pass.
- 1:01:31Amnesty will cover all crimes related to
- 1:01:35joining foreign armed forces, offenses
- 1:01:37that carried a sentence of up to 5 years
- 1:01:39in prison that date back to April 2014.
- 1:01:43the start of Kiev's so-called
- 1:01:46anti-terrorist operation,
- 1:01:49which is what they called uh when they
- 1:01:51were bombing the Dawnbass and killing
- 1:01:53their own people. It was an
- 1:01:55anti-terrorist opera operation against
- 1:01:58the people of Donbass who revolted
- 1:02:00against westernbacked Maidan coup in
- 1:02:02Kiev. You know, when we and nobody makes
- 1:02:06any secrets about it. Now the Maidan
- 1:02:09coup really did happen and it really was
- 1:02:11supported by pe people like Victoria
- 1:02:14Nuland. So Polish officials frame this
- 1:02:17legislation as a measure to forgive
- 1:02:20volunteers
- 1:02:21formalizing a pipeline that sent
- 1:02:24thousands of Polish fighters to the
- 1:02:26front lines. The law allows the
- 1:02:29forgiveness and release into oblivion
- 1:02:32of crimes related to mercenary and
- 1:02:35recruitment activities. Lawmakers also
- 1:02:39included a threemonth delayed
- 1:02:40implementation clause to ensure those
- 1:02:44currently in the trenches will receive
- 1:02:46pardons.
- 1:02:48[laughter]
- 1:02:49We got to pardon everybody if they're
- 1:02:51out killing uh Russians or even
- 1:02:54Ukrainians in the wrong spot. According
- 1:02:57to Russian estimates, over 15,000
- 1:02:59mercenaries from Poland, the US, and
- 1:03:01Georgia have fought for Kiev since the
- 1:03:04escalation in 2022, and nearly 6,500
- 1:03:08have been killed in action. Moscow
- 1:03:11maintains that foreign nationals
- 1:03:13fighting for Ukraine do not enjoy the
- 1:03:15protections of lawful combatants under
- 1:03:17the Geneva Convention. That's an
- 1:03:20interesting argument. I don't know how
- 1:03:21legally that would play out. Russian
- 1:03:24officials stated that these individuals
- 1:03:25are legitimate military targets. Well,
- 1:03:28of course, if they're fighting in the
- 1:03:30war, they are targets and will be
- 1:03:32treated as mercenaries, not prisoners of
- 1:03:35war. For the banderites, they are
- 1:03:37nothing more than expendable material,
- 1:03:40said the foreign embassy in Argentina
- 1:03:43recently, and added that Kiev is not
- 1:03:46interested in these wild geese returning
- 1:03:49home to tell the truth about the
- 1:03:51disastrous situation at the front.
- 1:03:55And that's true. Kiev isn't KV really
- 1:03:57doesn't want them to come over.
- 1:04:01Wow. Uh it's a crazy world out there,
- 1:04:04you know. I wanted to circle back to
- 1:04:07what I told you some of yesterday and I
- 1:04:13want to get to
- 1:04:15where is it?
- 1:04:18Let us get to my
- 1:04:22uh discussion about
- 1:04:25I think it's important to share with you
- 1:04:28a large um
- 1:04:32group of
- 1:04:35of the discussion yesterday that I
- 1:04:38talked you out and I never finished
- 1:04:41that. Uh we can finish with Rubio. We
- 1:04:43got about 25 minutes left in the show.
- 1:04:46Yeah.
- 1:04:47and I wanted to
- 1:04:51um
- 1:04:52talk about the there's seven parts. So,
- 1:04:57one one of the speeches that I've
- 1:04:58encouraged everyone to read is and and
- 1:05:01and and I'm try I try to frame this as
- 1:05:05carefully as I can. Okay? Because I'm
- 1:05:07not anti-West. I'm anti a lot of things
- 1:05:11that that the West has done, you know,
- 1:05:14and I laugh about some of the history
- 1:05:16repeating itself, you know, here we are.
- 1:05:18We're gonna we're gonna steal we're
- 1:05:21going to steal Greenland or force them
- 1:05:23to sell it to us for, you know, God
- 1:05:25knows how much money. You know, we'll
- 1:05:28challenge them to do it and and steal
- 1:05:30it. It's not theirs to sell if the
- 1:05:32people of Greenland don't want to sell
- 1:05:35it. But we don't care about them. We
- 1:05:37just got to pay somebody for it. Well,
- 1:05:38if you want to pay somebody, pay me. I
- 1:05:41mean, I can give you as much right as
- 1:05:42the Danish can. [laughter] You can claim
- 1:05:45I mean,
- 1:05:47I I don't know. It's It's an interesting
- 1:05:49world out there. Um, you you're not
- 1:05:52entitled as just a normal person to uh
- 1:05:55have anything if it hasn't been given to
- 1:05:58you by some king or another, right? So,
- 1:06:01there has to be a legal backing. The US
- 1:06:03is in the same boat. your piece of
- 1:06:05property that you own. How far back do
- 1:06:07you have to go to show where it is? And
- 1:06:11is it possible for u uh historically for
- 1:06:15an Indian descendant, if they can prove
- 1:06:18it, to come back and say, "Wait a
- 1:06:20minute, my family lived right here." But
- 1:06:22probably not, cuz they were all nomadic.
- 1:06:25And you go, "Well, wait a minute.
- 1:06:26they're just a bunch of nomads and all
- 1:06:28we did was get rid of their entire
- 1:06:30nomadic uh way of life and uh they can
- 1:06:34no longer uh be nomads because they got
- 1:06:36to be civilized, right? And so I assume
- 1:06:40that's the same argument that would be
- 1:06:42used in uh Greenland except those people
- 1:06:46have had rights to all the properties up
- 1:06:48there, right?
- 1:06:50um that is I don't know it's interesting
- 1:06:53but when you talk about all these things
- 1:06:57you always have to circle back to the
- 1:07:02continued dominance and and and the way
- 1:07:06we dominate and the rhetoric of
- 1:07:08domination and the actual views of
- 1:07:12domination by seizing ships, by taking
- 1:07:15over countries, by arresting foreign
- 1:07:18leaders, by overthrowing governments and
- 1:07:20I got plenty of stuff on that. You know,
- 1:07:23I I went back and had a look um earlier
- 1:07:28couple of days ago in preparation for
- 1:07:30this week's uh tales of woe that I
- 1:07:34wanted to tell and talk about again the
- 1:07:39the record of Russia versus the United
- 1:07:43States. Okay? And I stuck only with
- 1:07:46those two because those are the big east
- 1:07:48west. And I also tried to go after
- 1:07:52um
- 1:07:54after uh 1990
- 1:07:57let's call it the time period that the
- 1:07:59uh the wall came down the Soviet Union
- 1:08:02collapsed blah blah blah. So just since
- 1:08:05that time. Okay.
- 1:08:07So the broad record and um you know
- 1:08:10Russia has been in in 1992
- 1:08:14Transnistria which is a separatist state
- 1:08:19in um Malddova. It's a northern state.
- 1:08:23There was a a Russian army contingent
- 1:08:27based there because Malddova like
- 1:08:30Ukraine was part of the CIS. They're
- 1:08:32trying to get out of it now. You know,
- 1:08:34they don't want to be part of the CIS
- 1:08:35any longer and supposedly that'll be
- 1:08:38done this month. But they were always
- 1:08:40part of the CIS and they had joint uh
- 1:08:43defense things and so the Russian
- 1:08:45military was there. Transnistria, the
- 1:08:47northern state of um u in Malddova
- 1:08:51wanted to separate and had a lot of and
- 1:08:54it's all Russian. I mean the the further
- 1:08:56north you went the more Russian it was.
- 1:08:58I mean that entire area had tons and
- 1:09:00tons of Russians and Ukraine also by the
- 1:09:04way across the all through Odessa all
- 1:09:07through that all of that has been
- 1:09:09Russian for generations you know the
- 1:09:11majority of speakers including all the
- 1:09:14way up to Romania
- 1:09:16and um of a huge portions of Malddova
- 1:09:20but Malddova wanted to you know they're
- 1:09:23uh pre- Ukraine right and they they're
- 1:09:25trying to avoid war and Russia was
- 1:09:28involved in um Transnistria, okay? And
- 1:09:33Transnistria now they get to pick their
- 1:09:35own governor, you know, and they still
- 1:09:37have a little bit of this freedom and
- 1:09:39the Russian foreign troops are still
- 1:09:41there, okay? they still are sitting
- 1:09:43there. And uh Transnistria is really
- 1:09:46part of the Russian Federation uh
- 1:09:49arguably um
- 1:09:52arguably part of the Russian Federation
- 1:09:54and it's an independent Russianbacked
- 1:09:59state of Malddova officially. Okay. But
- 1:10:02on the map it shows as part of of of
- 1:10:05more Russia than it would in Nate. So
- 1:10:072008 there was a Georgian crisis after
- 1:10:11the uh US said that uh Georgia will be
- 1:10:16part of NATO. The Georgians and the
- 1:10:18Russians got into some bees disputes in
- 1:10:21there and so they were involved in that
- 1:10:24incursion but that was a former CIS
- 1:10:26state too uh and former uh territory of
- 1:10:30the Soviet Union. uh Crimea political
- 1:10:33upheaval in Kiev. If in 2014 the uh
- 1:10:37Russian forces were deployed to Crimea
- 1:10:41after a referendum wherein the people of
- 1:10:45Crimea said they wanted to back uh or
- 1:10:48wanted to be part of Russia. Donbass
- 1:10:51same thing in 2014 and they did that and
- 1:10:54that's part of the uh alleged terrorism
- 1:10:57that uh uh after the the upheaval and
- 1:11:00the throw out of Yanukovich by the
- 1:11:02western forces uh and seriously backed
- 1:11:05with all of that which everybody
- 1:11:06acknowledges these day these days Russia
- 1:11:10uh were back were backing the separatist
- 1:11:14uh protecting Russian speakaking people
- 1:11:17and people that wanted to stay part of
- 1:11:19uh Russia Russia.
- 1:11:22Then Syria. Russia was invited into
- 1:11:25Syria by the Syrian government. Had a
- 1:11:27couple of bases in there. So, and yes,
- 1:11:29they were involved in some militarily,
- 1:11:32but but not much. Uh 2022,
- 1:11:35Ukraine, but that's it. Okay. Now let's
- 1:11:38let's so we have arguably and all of
- 1:11:41these are for except Syria are former
- 1:11:45Soviet or CIS portions that have heavy
- 1:11:50heavy heavy Russian populations
- 1:11:53internally including in Georgia. Even
- 1:11:56today everybody speaks Russian in
- 1:11:58Georgia. When I was in Georgia I spoke
- 1:12:00Russian all the time and people spoke
- 1:12:02Russian back. you know there places full
- 1:12:04of Russians everywhere and Georgians too
- 1:12:07and they have great food over there you
- 1:12:09get a chance to go uh those are facts
- 1:12:11that's a factual concept okay during the
- 1:12:14same time period let's look at the
- 1:12:16United States 1990s Bosnia Kosovo air
- 1:12:21campaigns destruction
- 1:12:24and uh not even a referendum we just
- 1:12:27went in and announced that we recognize
- 1:12:29Kosovo Kosovo is now independent because
- 1:12:33we said so and a couple people may have
- 1:12:35said uh oh gee we want to be independent
- 1:12:38they still don't control themselves but
- 1:12:41you know the the US and company do but
- 1:12:44uh there you have it um that's Bosnia
- 1:12:47Kosovo those you know uh incursions
- 1:12:52let's call it supported this is the US
- 1:12:54militarily 2001 Afghanistan invasion for
- 1:12:5820 years we had nothing to do with any
- 1:13:00of that crap shouldn't have been there
- 1:13:01in the first place. I have been a
- 1:13:03disagreeing uh Samuel with that part the
- 1:13:06whole time. 2003 Iraq invasion and
- 1:13:10occupation regime removed
- 1:13:13years of military presence. 2003 2011
- 1:13:18Libya intervention right 2014
- 1:13:22Syria air operations ongoing operations
- 1:13:26in Pakistan Yemen Somalia across several
- 1:13:30administrations let's go straight to
- 1:13:33Trump
- 1:13:34missile strikes in Syria in 2017 and 18
- 1:13:38killed Iranian general uh Kosam
- 1:13:40Solommani in 2020 continued global they
- 1:13:44call it counter terror operations. Um,
- 1:13:48you know, that's behavior. This is not,
- 1:13:50you know, I don't necessarily believe
- 1:13:54the uh rhetoric on either side. Okay. US
- 1:13:58has continually used military force
- 1:14:01globally across the continents
- 1:14:04repeatedly and Russians are concentrated
- 1:14:08uh only in areas where they are. So when
- 1:14:11people claim that, oh gee, you got to
- 1:14:13watch out. Russia wants to take over the
- 1:14:14world, I find little support for that,
- 1:14:19but I find a lot of support for what
- 1:14:21Russia claims all the time. You know,
- 1:14:24you can't you know when where's the next
- 1:14:26war you're you're going to take. And
- 1:14:28it's hard not to find these use of
- 1:14:31forces use of force, I mean, as
- 1:14:35I don't a problem. I find this
- 1:14:38problematic. uh the scale and dispersion
- 1:14:41are dramatically different. You know
- 1:14:43what Russia does is pretty small. And uh
- 1:14:46so this is uh arithmetic not uh
- 1:14:49ideology. I'm not trying to do that. So
- 1:14:52if you want to get into legitimacy
- 1:14:53arguments, Crimea actually had a
- 1:14:55referendum. Donbass had a referendum.
- 1:14:58Transnistria held referendums. Then
- 1:15:02governments in the west said, "Yeah, but
- 1:15:03that those referendums are BS."
- 1:15:07Kosovo declares independence. few people
- 1:15:09get in a street corner and declare
- 1:15:11independence and no referendum.
- 1:15:14And the moment they declared they were
- 1:15:16independent, they were rapidly
- 1:15:18recognized as a legitimate government by
- 1:15:21the United States and many European
- 1:15:23nations.
- 1:15:25The only legitimate one, Scotland held a
- 1:15:28referendum and it was accepted because
- 1:15:30it occurred under constitutional British
- 1:15:33procedure. Right? So what determines how
- 1:15:36you get recognition? It's not the vote.
- 1:15:39It's political always. International
- 1:15:42legitimacy isn't mechanically derived
- 1:15:44from somebody counting a ballot. You
- 1:15:47know, it's only by the powerful states
- 1:15:49recognizing that, right? So, you can
- 1:15:52argue the Crimea's vote um was
- 1:15:55illegitimate.
- 1:15:57You can do that. And the and the West is
- 1:15:59always doing it. But they never even had
- 1:16:01votes in any other places like Kosovo.
- 1:16:04They just recogn Oh, yep. Somebody said
- 1:16:07they're independent. Oh, guess they're
- 1:16:08independent. You know, that's it. So,
- 1:16:10you can deote debate them both, but for
- 1:16:13me, it is uh what do you call it? Not um
- 1:16:21not uh apples to apples. It drives me
- 1:16:23crazy. You know, I'm not trying to give
- 1:16:26you conspiracy theory. I'm talking about
- 1:16:28structural power here. That's what I'm
- 1:16:30doing. But you can't deny it because it
- 1:16:34all deals with who is geopolitically
- 1:16:36aligned. That's it. And how you get that
- 1:16:39alignment, whether you get to be the US
- 1:16:41and take over the Virgin Islands by
- 1:16:43sending them some money and saying,
- 1:16:44"Well, take like it or leave it, you
- 1:16:46know, because we are taking it one way
- 1:16:48or the other." And uh the that article
- 1:16:51was an interesting article. Let's talk
- 1:16:53about NGO influence and political
- 1:16:55engineering of all these situations.
- 1:16:57Since 1990s, the US funded NOS's, US aid
- 1:17:01programs, democracy promotion. They
- 1:17:03claim democracy promotion initiatives.
- 1:17:06They're across Europe and any of these
- 1:17:08former Soviet states. Supporters say
- 1:17:10civil society development. That's what
- 1:17:13we're doing. They didn't have society
- 1:17:15before. Everybody else says I'm a
- 1:17:17critic. You know, me personally, I say
- 1:17:21it's regime engineering. You know, both
- 1:17:24interpretations exists. I believe the
- 1:17:27stronger argument is engineering of
- 1:17:29regime change.
- 1:17:32But domestic grievances are real on both
- 1:17:34sides of the fence. External support
- 1:17:36amplifies or in fact creates the
- 1:17:39outcomes. Right? Influence doesn't
- 1:17:42automatically equal orchestration. But
- 1:17:44influence isn't just imaginary. From
- 1:17:47Moscow's perspective, westernbacked
- 1:17:50political movements in neighboring
- 1:17:52states are viewed not as democracy but
- 1:17:55as encroachment.
- 1:17:57And that is the security dilemma and the
- 1:18:00security spiral Putin talked about and I
- 1:18:04only got 10 minutes to go through it,
- 1:18:07but Putin in 2007 said unipolar
- 1:18:10dominance destabilizes.
- 1:18:13And what I did was I went and took his
- 1:18:15entire speech from 2007
- 1:18:19and I want to read you some key
- 1:18:23sections of it that he talked about and
- 1:18:26you can take it or leave it doesn't
- 1:18:28matter to me but these are realities.
- 1:18:31Okay. He talked about unipolarity.
- 1:18:36He said, "Figuratively speaking, I mean
- 1:18:40ideological
- 1:18:42stereotypes, double standards, and other
- 1:18:47uh templates of block thinking." Oh,
- 1:18:51hold on. We're going to take an call
- 1:18:53here. Where are we? How do I get this to
- 1:18:57work? Hello, friends and neighbors.
- 1:19:01Hello.
- 1:19:03>> Good morning.
- 1:19:04>> Good morning. How are you, friend and
- 1:19:06neighbor?
- 1:19:07>> I am well.
- 1:19:08>> I'm well. Just checking on you, making
- 1:19:10sure you're doing okay.
- 1:19:11>> I'm totally fine. How are you?
- 1:19:14>> Oh, I'm good. I was just curious.
- 1:19:15>> Were you going to complain about
- 1:19:17something I said? Is that why you're
- 1:19:18calling?
- 1:19:19>> No, I'm just checking on your
- 1:19:20well-being. Just I'm wondering if you
- 1:19:23are doing okay.
- 1:19:25>> You think I have Trump derangement
- 1:19:27syndrome?
- 1:19:29>> Nope. [clears throat]
- 1:19:30>> No, I just I'm just worried about your
- 1:19:32well-being. I heard you laughing
- 1:19:35hysterically
- 1:19:36at how the world's borders are formed.
- 1:19:40Laughing at Trump and
- 1:19:41>> Woodson laughing at Trump and
- 1:19:44>> certainly chuckling along with the
- 1:19:46acquisitions that Woodro Wilson made and
- 1:19:48Donald Trump is contemplating.
- 1:19:50>> Well, of course. Yeah.
- 1:19:53>> But um do you know what percentage
- 1:19:56of the world's borders
- 1:19:58are result of conquest by chance? Do you
- 1:20:01know that number? I'm not talking about
- 1:20:03conquest. I was talking about purchases.
- 1:20:06>> You've talked about both, sir.
- 1:20:08>> Well, that's true. And uh so uh who gets
- 1:20:11to decide the conquest? You're for
- 1:20:15conquest, I presume.
- 1:20:18>> Actually, it doesn't matter what I'm
- 1:20:20for. I'm talking about the the history
- 1:20:23of the world and how borders h are
- 1:20:25accumulated. Every border on the planet
- 1:20:28was done through conquest with the
- 1:20:30exceptions of the times. United States
- 1:20:31has actually bought stuff.
- 1:20:33>> Well, okay. So, where where's the next
- 1:20:36conquest? Did we did we conquer um
- 1:20:40Afghanistan, for example? Did we conquer
- 1:20:43Iraq?
- 1:20:44>> Well, I'm just worried about you
- 1:20:46laughing at world history when 95% of
- 1:20:48the world's borders were taken through
- 1:20:50conquest and you I heard you talking
- 1:20:52about it with regard to Trump and Woodro
- 1:20:54Wilson and just yucking it up and just
- 1:20:56like I'm wondering if you're okay.
- 1:20:58>> Well, I'm totally fine. I'm talking
- 1:21:01reality. What's going to happen is
- 1:21:04>> I think that's what I'm talking about is
- 1:21:05reality. It's like 99% of the world's
- 1:21:08conquests or the world's borders came
- 1:21:10through conquest. And you just think
- 1:21:12that's the craziest thing you've ever
- 1:21:14heard.
- 1:21:14>> Not what I'm No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm
- 1:21:17wondering how you justify seizing
- 1:21:21seizing right now us today in a in a uh
- 1:21:25democ democratic world. how you justify
- 1:21:28seizing a foreign country under false
- 1:21:32pretext. By the way, you know, narco
- 1:21:35terror, oh gee, let's go in and replace,
- 1:21:38right? That that's okay. And you're
- 1:21:40taking it for uh for what purpose? Is
- 1:21:43that what we're for? We're for being the
- 1:21:45big bully. Is that right?
- 1:21:49>> Okay. Um that's a different topic. I'm
- 1:21:51talking about the history of the world
- 1:21:53here. How did every border come to be on
- 1:21:56the planet Earth?
- 1:21:57>> Of course, I'm laughing. From the
- 1:21:59beginning of time, from the beginning of
- 1:22:01time to today, where's everybody get
- 1:22:02their borders?
- 1:22:03>> Well, okay. Where do we
- 1:22:05>> I'm telling you, it's closer to 95 plus%
- 1:22:07of the world's borders came through
- 1:22:09conquest. I'm just making sure you're
- 1:22:11okay cuz you think that's just
- 1:22:13hysterical and like world history. I'm
- 1:22:16so What's so funny about world history?
- 1:22:18>> I Okay, I'm I'm fine with history. I'm
- 1:22:22not fine with repeating that history.
- 1:22:24>> No, cuz you were laughing cuz uh Woodro
- 1:22:27Wilson just took some property and I'm
- 1:22:29like, well, that's how every freaking
- 1:22:31nation
- 1:22:31>> No, no, no, no, no, no. What I was
- 1:22:32laughing at, what I was laughing at was
- 1:22:35the parallels of today. And the parallel
- 1:22:38was he created a pretext, said Nazi
- 1:22:43Germany is going to take Nazi. It was a
- 1:22:46false threat. And we're doing the exact
- 1:22:49same thing right now. False threats
- 1:22:54of China taking over uh Venezuela, China
- 1:22:59and Russia taking Greenland. That's what
- 1:23:02I'm laughing at. Are [laughter] the
- 1:23:04continual the continual false
- 1:23:08narratives that are used instead of
- 1:23:12world conquest.
- 1:23:12>> I'll take you at your word. All I
- 1:23:14thought I heard you laughing was like
- 1:23:15the way the world borders have come to
- 1:23:17be.
- 1:23:18>> No, no, no. I'm laughing about the
- 1:23:20repeat of history right now and whether
- 1:23:23>> Yeah. No, there's nothing new under the
- 1:23:24sun. I agree with you,
- 1:23:26>> right? And so, how do we justify that in
- 1:23:28today's OG far more intelligent, smaller
- 1:23:32society, right? Back in back in uh when
- 1:23:35when Wilson did that.
- 1:23:36>> I'm not trying to. Actually, I'm not.
- 1:23:39Maybe you're alone on that one because
- 1:23:40I'm that's not where I'm coming from.
- 1:23:42Okay. Well,
- 1:23:43>> I mean, that's I didn't know that's what
- 1:23:46you were laughing about.
- 1:23:47>> Do you believe there's a threat from
- 1:23:49Russia and China and Greenland?
- 1:23:53>> A threat? Um, I know that the uh the
- 1:23:56future of security is in the Arctic and
- 1:23:59uh we need to have our foot there
- 1:24:00somewhere otherwise somebody else will.
- 1:24:03I I unlike you, I don't have a problem
- 1:24:05with the United States being the world
- 1:24:06police force because the United States,
- 1:24:09unless you allow leftism to grab a hold
- 1:24:10of, is usually a force for good.
- 1:24:13Anything that you've made fun of, the
- 1:24:14United States has done or what you call
- 1:24:16the West has been done by leftists. But
- 1:24:18when the United States is doing what
- 1:24:20it's supposed to be doing and and not
- 1:24:23>> I'm going down a rabbit trail here. I'm
- 1:24:25sorry. That wasn't my point. We should
- 1:24:27have been We should have been in
- 1:24:29Afghanistan then. That's that's where we
- 1:24:31we as America's policemen should be
- 1:24:33there. We should go bomb the crap for
- 1:24:36Israel, not for us out of Iran, right?
- 1:24:41>> You know what? If I have the world's
- 1:24:43biggest military, I'm going to use it
- 1:24:45for good. And if it means taking out
- 1:24:47evil people, I think that's a a virtue.
- 1:24:49>> Evil.
- 1:24:49>> And I bet you disagree with me on that.
- 1:24:51>> I don't disagree with that. I dis I
- 1:24:53disagree with who gets to define evil.
- 1:24:56That's always my problem. Who in the
- 1:24:58world?
- 1:25:00Okay. Maduro. Good or bad?
- 1:25:03>> Maduro is I don't give a crap. He We has
- 1:25:06>> Well, I do. I bet you about 35 million.
- 1:25:09>> Okay. Then if he's a Then if he's a
- 1:25:11threat, why can't you be truthful about
- 1:25:14it? Why do you got to blame it on some
- 1:25:16kind of narotist BS that nobody has
- 1:25:20heard about now? And what happened to
- 1:25:22him since then? Where is he now?
- 1:25:25>> What's going What's What's going on now?
- 1:25:26I'd say we're learning all sorts of
- 1:25:28things about how the elections have been
- 1:25:30stolen.
- 1:25:31>> I'm guessing he's probably coming up.
- 1:25:34>> Maduro is [laughter]
- 1:25:35because Venezuela's been controlling all
- 1:25:38of the elections on this globe for the
- 1:25:40past two decades.
- 1:25:41>> Venezuela's controlling US elections.
- 1:25:44>> Yes.
- 1:25:48>> I shall listen to your show and hear
- 1:25:51that.
- 1:25:53No. Oh, I do. I listen to you quite a
- 1:25:55bit, but but I haven't heard that theory
- 1:25:59thrown out that Maduro has
- 1:26:01>> You don't have to listen to my show.
- 1:26:02Just go to X and I would probably start
- 1:26:06with Emerald. Um what's her name? The
- 1:26:09real hot chick. Uh Emerald, what's her
- 1:26:12name?
- 1:26:12>> Hot chick. You got me.
- 1:26:14>> Emerald. Uh come on. What's her name?
- 1:26:16>> Sounds like a stripper to me. I'm I'm
- 1:26:19the strippers I know aren't named.
- 1:26:21>> Robinson. Okay. Go to X and and and read
- 1:26:25the wall on Emerald Robinson. She's been
- 1:26:27chronicling this for years.
- 1:26:29>> How Maduro is controlling the world
- 1:26:31elections.
- 1:26:32>> Well, it started off under Maduro's
- 1:26:34predecessor.
- 1:26:36>> Okay,
- 1:26:38I will I will anyway
- 1:26:41to go and read that. But how does
- 1:26:43[laughter] how does that justify narco
- 1:26:45terrorism as an excuse to steal the oil
- 1:26:49to steal the oil from Venezuela?
- 1:26:54Although I agree with the $2.40
- 1:26:56price tag for gas I just saw this
- 1:26:58morning, but [clears throat] I think it
- 1:27:00was ill gotten, but that's okay. I, you
- 1:27:03know, I'm I I will justify that. So, I'm
- 1:27:06just as big a a problem as all the rest
- 1:27:10that think this is okay activity for a
- 1:27:12civilized society.
- 1:27:14>> Taking out the ships is all about
- 1:27:16cutting off money to our enemies, the
- 1:27:19deep state, the CIA. that he's cutting
- 1:27:21off their funds at every at every at
- 1:27:23every turn, starting with us a
- 1:27:27>> Well, okay. I I agreed with those in the
- 1:27:30beginning. I agreed with those in the
- 1:27:31beginning, but we're down to 2 minutes
- 1:27:33and or three and I got a boogie. So, I
- 1:27:36appreciate you. We should discuss this
- 1:27:38more. I find you highly [laughter]
- 1:27:40highly intoxicating with some of these.
- 1:27:43>> Love you so much. See you.
- 1:27:44>> Interesting. See you later.
- 1:27:46>> Bye now.
- 1:27:47>> Bye. Bye.
- 1:27:49And there he goes. Well, uh there there
- 1:27:52are plenty of things to disagree with in
- 1:27:54that uh in that discussion. And I wanted
- 1:27:57to get to the old now I got to save it
- 1:28:01for tomorrow cuz uh I saved all these
- 1:28:04and and and I point out how if if you
- 1:28:08want to believe that well I won't I
- 1:28:11won't have time to get to it cuz I only
- 1:28:12got a minute and a half and I can't get
- 1:28:14that thought off in that time period. Uh
- 1:28:17but in short,
- 1:28:19if you don't understand how history is
- 1:28:22created and the the way of the world
- 1:28:25that is what I'm laughing about, uh JR
- 1:28:28is that this is more par for the course
- 1:28:34creating a narrative
- 1:28:36for people to buy into to say, "Oh, gee,
- 1:28:38it's great. Let's take over Greenland.
- 1:28:41Oh, gee, it's fine. Let's go beat the
- 1:28:43snot out of Maduro and Venezuela." And
- 1:28:46if if if Maduro was co controlling US
- 1:28:50elections,
- 1:28:51don't take out Missouri. Fix your
- 1:28:53elections.
- 1:28:55Fix your elections. If that's the
- 1:28:58problem all of this has brought about,
- 1:29:01well then let's deal with the problem.
- 1:29:04We'll go into that tomorrow cuz now I'm
- 1:29:05interested. Now I'm on a mission. Uh but
- 1:29:08that'll have to be tomorrow because the
- 1:29:10show is coming to a conclusion. I enjoy
