- 0:35Speaker 4: It is. Yeah, even though.
- 0:36Speaker 2: The struggle is real. I've pretty much been up all night.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Well, woke up and saw an email from you, and
- 0:41Speaker 1: I was like, why is he emailing me at like
- 0:43Speaker 1: twelve forty five in the morning.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I was like, yeah, I'm okay, but I
- 0:46Speaker 2: was like, hey, Pooh, make sure I get up because uh,
- 0:49Speaker 2: I don't feel too well. I think I ate something
- 0:51Speaker 2: that just didn't sit well. And I've been up all night.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Sorry, like a little.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Mini food poisoning, hate that or something. So I was
- 0:58Speaker 2: just oh, it's like sweat, and you know, when you
- 1:00Speaker 2: don't feel good, you can't sleep, you can't get comfortable
- 1:03Speaker 2: and I've just saw I've had maybe two and a
- 1:05Speaker 2: half hours sleep. Oh no, so get ready for a
- 1:08Speaker 2: rocky show.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Yeah, we got this. We got this, guys.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 4: He called me and he was like, hey, I'm just
- 1:13Speaker 4: checking in on you, like your checking in on me.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Who called you?
- 1:17Speaker 3: I called her?
- 1:18Speaker 5: I meant to call you, but I hit Kansas's number
- 1:20Speaker 5: and I called her.
- 1:22Speaker 3: She was like hey, and I was like, oh, just
- 1:24Speaker 3: checking on you.
- 1:24Speaker 5: And then I go, oh, wait a minute, I'm supposed
- 1:26Speaker 5: called Billy my budd before you called me priorities.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I was gonna say, no one, well, I I thought
- 1:35Speaker 2: to myself, thank got him up because he's late. No,
- 1:37Speaker 2: he's late on calling me.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I called you at four twenty nine.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I made it. It was before four.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Either way, I was sure that was fine and I
- 1:46Speaker 2: feel better than I thought I did. But either way, yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 2: how are you, Candas.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I mean, speaking of food poisoning, I almost like had
- 1:53Speaker 1: thoughts last night, Oh my gosh, I might like poison
- 1:55Speaker 1: my entire family. So I was trying to cook dinner
- 1:58Speaker 1: last night, dropped the whole thing of like raw chicken
- 2:00Speaker 1: tenders on the floor and like that's all we had
- 2:03Speaker 1: to make and I was like, this is this is
- 2:05Speaker 1: my last option for like, you know, protein to cook
- 2:08Speaker 1: last night, so you no. I picked it up and
- 2:11Speaker 1: I thought it was on the floor for like, hang on, it.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Was on the floor for like one second.
- 2:19Speaker 3: That's what I was proud of.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I was like, if I like wash the chicken, is
- 2:23Speaker 1: it okay?
- 2:24Speaker 4: Because then it's gonna get cooked.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And then this is my thought process, right because I'm desperate.
- 2:29Speaker 1: It's like last minute. It's like you gotta cook now
- 2:31Speaker 1: or never. We're just we're not eating. It's gonna be
- 2:33Speaker 1: too late, you know. As a mom, like you have
- 2:36Speaker 1: to time out, like what time to start dinner?
- 2:38Speaker 4: What time is it done? What time are we eating?
- 2:39Speaker 4: What time is bath?
- 2:40Speaker 1: I mean it's the school night last night. So I
- 2:43Speaker 1: rints all the chicken and I've got it back ready
- 2:45Speaker 1: and I was like, this is not worth it?
- 2:47Speaker 4: What am I doing?
- 2:49Speaker 2: So you didn't cook it?
- 2:50Speaker 4: I threw it away.
- 2:50Speaker 1: We went to Panda Express.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so I didn't put anyone.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Eric's on the phone, Eric, how was it?
- 3:00Speaker 3: What's that?
- 3:02Speaker 6: Wow?
- 3:03Speaker 4: Is it okay? It was on the ground for a second.
- 3:06Speaker 4: It's gonna get cooked.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It would have probably been fine right, I know from
- 3:09Speaker 2: the school of the heat will kill it.
- 3:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Well yeah, but then I was like, is anxiety worth it?
- 3:14Speaker 8: All night?
- 3:14Speaker 4: Does somebody get a good sick You're right, kill it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It's okay when you're messing with chicken, though, Like I
- 3:20Speaker 2: think that's what I got sick on last night. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I'm so weird about chicken. No, not at our sea.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I won't name the place because it was it's a
- 3:28Speaker 2: good place. Yeah, and I don't want to. You know,
- 3:30Speaker 2: it might not even been them, right, but it was chicken.
- 3:33Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying. I'm just weird about chicken, even
- 3:36Speaker 2: when I cook. That's why I cook steak. That's why
- 3:39Speaker 2: I live off of steak and watermelon. Yeah, because if
- 3:41Speaker 2: you undercook steak whatever.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you know a good point chicken.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I'm like, I always overcook my chicken because I'm so
- 3:47Speaker 2: weird about it.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, since I got the Ninja Crispy, you know that
- 3:50Speaker 1: new air fryer thing.
- 3:52Speaker 4: No, this is not an infomercial. I'm obsessed with that thing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It cooks the chicken perfectly, and I don't have this
- 3:57Speaker 1: stress anymore.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Why is it so funny?
- 3:59Speaker 8: Prude?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Because it sounds like a late night and.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Since I got the Ninja Christy, it was perfect.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Well, my Friday night was fun.
- 4:13Speaker 5: My son, my twelve year old, was eating some chips
- 4:16Speaker 5: and then he comes into my room mouth bleeding. I'm like,
- 4:19Speaker 5: what is going on his chip? So he has a
- 4:22Speaker 5: bottom tooth that's a little loose. I thought he was
- 4:25Speaker 5: trying to hustle me. Well, the chip got lodged in
- 4:28Speaker 5: there and.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Broke off the tooth.
- 4:30Speaker 2: So he's bleeding.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I'm like, really, dude, because I told him, I was like,
- 4:34Speaker 5: don't try to pull it.
- 4:35Speaker 3: So the tooth fairy comes and.
- 4:37Speaker 2: He was like trying to get that money. Yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I was like, uh, two fairy got gift cards.
- 4:47Speaker 3: We ended up in the e R and the e
- 4:49Speaker 3: R Yeah, they had to dig.
- 4:51Speaker 2: He took him to the e R.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I mean there was no other place. He kept bleeding.
- 4:55Speaker 3: I tried to stop it. Put a tea bag on it.
- 4:57Speaker 3: He was bleeding.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I was that tea bag on it.
- 4:59Speaker 3: We put tea bags.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yeah, if you put a tea bag on a wound,
- 5:03Speaker 5: it'll stop up the school like yeah, yeah one of
- 5:09Speaker 5: my redneck friends. So many that a long time ago.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Okay, so you took me to the I can't believe
- 5:13Speaker 2: you don't take anybody to the yard.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I just went it's right right around the corner, went
- 5:17Speaker 5: to the she the nurse is so nice. She stopped
- 5:20Speaker 5: it and she's like, look and she pulled out the chip.
- 5:23Speaker 2: It was a.
- 5:25Speaker 9: Wow.
- 5:26Speaker 5: I'm like, man, your two got taken out by Dorito.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Man like father like son. I'm gonna tell you why
- 5:34Speaker 2: I'm a bad parent coming up too. Oh, I'm a
- 5:37Speaker 2: bad parent. I'm a bad dass because it's something that
- 5:40Speaker 2: happened Friday. And I know what you do. I know
- 5:44Speaker 2: his mom's out of town, but I know when she
- 5:46Speaker 2: gets back in town, you're gonna hear it.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Oh.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I am gonna lit up like a Christmas tree.
- 5:52Speaker 7: This top story with Billy the Kid in the morning, only.
- 5:57Speaker 2: One or two where we started paying bill. So make
- 6:00Speaker 2: sure you listen if you want a thousand dollars another
- 6:02Speaker 2: shot to win. Coming up, we'll do it like twenty
- 6:04Speaker 2: minutes away. Canice Slopez? What's going on?
- 6:07Speaker 10: Well?
- 6:07Speaker 1: A selina Iic middle school teacher and coach was arrested
- 6:10Speaker 1: Friday on charges of invasive visual recording. The twenty six
- 6:14Speaker 1: year old teacher is being held at the Collin County jail.
- 6:17Speaker 1: This man, I guess, is a sixth grade history teacher
- 6:20Speaker 1: and eighth grade coach at More Middle School. He was
- 6:23Speaker 1: placed on administrative leave indefinitely, but the district said they
- 6:27Speaker 1: weren't given the names of any students who have been impacted,
- 6:30Speaker 1: but have asked parents to contact Slana police if they
- 6:33Speaker 1: have concerns.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I hadn't seen any charges like that, you know before.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Invasive recording here in the metroplex.
- 6:41Speaker 2: What does that even mean? It is like secret video, That's.
- 6:44Speaker 4: What it sounds like.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Invasive visual recording. But something to be aware of as
- 6:48Speaker 1: a parent because.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It reminds me of that on that flight, remember.
- 6:52Speaker 4: So mad American Airlines.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I was on the American Airlines. Were a flight
- 6:55Speaker 2: attendant like put the phone in the bathroom and recording people.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Yeah, very odd situation.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I think they've determined that that had happened more than once.
- 7:05Speaker 4: So hopefully, you know, I mean.
- 7:07Speaker 1: This investigation is just beginning over there, so hopefully there's
- 7:10Speaker 1: not more to this, but I'll definitely keep you posted.
- 7:13Speaker 4: And it looks like.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Shanday Coombs the plans to appeal his sentence. It came
- 7:17Speaker 1: down later than I expected. On Friday, I was hoping
- 7:19Speaker 1: this would happen, you know, while we were on the air,
- 7:21Speaker 1: but there was so much involved on Friday, but the
- 7:24Speaker 1: judge sentence him to fifty months in federal prison.
- 7:27Speaker 4: That's just over four years. This is like Toddler math here, guys.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But he was also ordered to pay half a million
- 7:33Speaker 1: dollars and five years of supervised release, so he will
- 7:37Speaker 1: be credited with the time he served since his arrest
- 7:39Speaker 1: last year. But the judge's final words to him were basically,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you're gonna have the chance to show your children in
- 7:45Speaker 1: the world real accountability, change and healing and.
- 7:48Speaker 4: What that can look like.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I'm counting on you to make the most of your
- 7:51Speaker 1: second chance. But this wasn't exactly the second chance he
- 7:55Speaker 1: was hoping for. Obviously, his team was pushing for his
- 7:59Speaker 1: immediate relief, but they you remember, he did ask for
- 8:02Speaker 1: a presidential pardon that was back in August, but they said,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you know, he broke down in tears at one point,
- 8:08Speaker 1: apologizing to his mother and the women he abused. But
- 8:11Speaker 1: some of his kids got up and spoke, and I
- 8:13Speaker 1: guess he cried during that eleven minute video that his team.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Shared with the judge and jury.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So I mean, I was hoping for more, but I'm
- 8:23Speaker 1: glad it wasn't less, if that makes sense.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I thought it was gonna be less than two he'll
- 8:27Speaker 2: do less than two years. But how long has he
- 8:30Speaker 2: been in prison? A little over a year, so he'll
- 8:32Speaker 2: do about three years.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, they're saying, you know, some of his kids spoke
- 8:37Speaker 1: and he, you know, told the judge Hale never put
- 8:40Speaker 1: his hands on another person, that he learned his lesson
- 8:42Speaker 1: in that whole thing. But it's like at this point, really, yeah,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I mean you should have learned that a long time ago.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Right, And I guess the kind of went viral though,
- 8:49Speaker 2: because there's no cameras in the court, which I don't understand.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I know, yes, it's a federal case, right.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Cares I want to see why, I mean, why can't
- 8:56Speaker 2: we be cameras in the court room?
- 8:58Speaker 9: Right?
- 8:58Speaker 4: I would have I would have been tuned into this
- 9:00Speaker 4: every day, I know.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So well, I guess it went viral. Did you see
- 9:04Speaker 2: the illustration the court illustrator or whatever artist that drew
- 9:10Speaker 2: him when he found out the sentence. He's on his
- 9:12Speaker 2: hands and knees, yeah, liked his head yeah, like on
- 9:16Speaker 2: the ground.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So I'm like what happened, Like this dude had an
- 9:21Speaker 2: emotional breakdown. Did you think you were just gonna leave
- 9:24Speaker 2: that day?
- 9:24Speaker 4: Right? I think he honestly did.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Like they seemed really confident, like a couple of weeks
- 9:28Speaker 1: before the sentencing hearing, and I guess they fed him
- 9:31Speaker 1: all this, you know, positive stuff made him really think
- 9:34Speaker 1: that he was going to get out.
- 9:36Speaker 2: But I don't know how that court room artist got
- 9:38Speaker 2: a job. Yeah, seriously. I mean it doesn't look like No,
- 9:42Speaker 2: I don't know what's.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Going on, So not the version we're used to seeing either.
- 9:46Speaker 2: No, but he also doesn't look like a monster. I mean,
- 9:50Speaker 2: well he might be, yeah, but you know what I mean.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's just like anyway, Yeah, that whole industry is wild.
- 9:54Speaker 1: But aubry O Day, she did put out a warning
- 9:57Speaker 1: on social media to up and coming artist. You know,
- 9:59Speaker 1: if something feels wrong, trust your instinct to remove yourself
- 10:02Speaker 1: from the situation.
- 10:03Speaker 4: But I'll keep you posting.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I mean, they're, you know, trying to get an appeal
- 10:06Speaker 1: on this, so I'm sure there's more to come. Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 1: real quick, guys. According to data from two hundred and
- 10:11Speaker 1: fifty thousand adults in fifty countries, social media is in
- 10:15Speaker 1: decline everywhere but America. So this report, I guess it
- 10:19Speaker 1: was in the Financial Times. It basically, you know, is
- 10:22Speaker 1: asking have we passed peak social media? They say that
- 10:26Speaker 1: since twenty twenty two, we've actually had a steady decline
- 10:29Speaker 1: in people using social media across the world, the biggest
- 10:32Speaker 1: decline among teens and twenty somethings. But I guess a
- 10:35Speaker 1: lot of people have been turned off by you know,
- 10:37Speaker 1: suggested content, these bots that are so negative online and
- 10:41Speaker 1: even more ads. But here they say, like, we're consuming
- 10:44Speaker 1: extreme rhetoric engagement mate, and slop is rising now slop.
- 10:49Speaker 4: But I'm a still using that. Yeah, what a.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Good descriptive word of social media.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Yes, I'm deep in the social media sloth this morning.
- 10:56Speaker 2: We're slopping.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Yeah, here you go.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I'm cann of slope as those are your Texas hop stories.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Okay, bad dad alert, you want to hear why I'm
- 11:03Speaker 2: a bad gass?
- 11:04Speaker 4: What happened?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Okay? So my son Ryder, he's fourteen, and Friday we
- 11:09Speaker 2: had a very eventful Friday. So my friendship, who I
- 11:12Speaker 2: love more than anything. He's crazy, but I love him. Yeah,
- 11:16Speaker 2: he calls me up randomly Friday and he's like, hey,
- 11:18Speaker 2: you know, I know your son's a big football guy
- 11:20Speaker 2: because my son plays football. He's very into football. He's like,
- 11:24Speaker 2: I'm having dinner with Warren Sap, who is an NFL
- 11:28Speaker 2: Hall of Fame, yes, defensive tackle that played for the
- 11:32Speaker 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a Super Bowl. He's one of
- 11:34Speaker 2: the best to ever do it. And I go, that's random.
- 11:38Speaker 2: He goes, yeah, but you should bring Ryder, bring him out,
- 11:40Speaker 2: and Rider would get a kick out of that. Rider
- 11:42Speaker 2: loves Warren Sap. So I'm like, you know what we
- 11:46Speaker 2: might do that. He goes, okay, cool. So we go
- 11:49Speaker 2: to for Worth. We go to Wishbone and Flint, which
- 11:51Speaker 2: if you've never been to that restaurant, oh you can't.
- 11:54Speaker 4: You would love it really.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very good.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Okay, I'll have to check it out.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but you'd have to check it out for sure.
- 11:59Speaker 2: You'll do it when we go, and you'll make me
- 12:01Speaker 2: pay for it either way.
- 12:04Speaker 3: So we go.
- 12:04Speaker 2: We're there, you know it's it's it's early, and Riders
- 12:08Speaker 2: all excited. You know, he dressed up and he was like,
- 12:11Speaker 2: you know, in his way of dressing up, put on
- 12:13Speaker 2: pants and he's like all excited. So we go to
- 12:16Speaker 2: dinner and we're there with a great group of people.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's my friend Chip, my buddy Emil. You know, it's
- 12:22Speaker 2: a good time either way. Warren is getting held up
- 12:25Speaker 2: and he can't make it to dinner. Oh no, because
- 12:28Speaker 2: he's in town because he's a coach for Colorado that
- 12:31Speaker 2: was playing TCU. Yeah, he had like a team meeting.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Something went over. So we're walking out and you know,
- 12:37Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm sorry. Rides to my son. I don't
- 12:41Speaker 2: think we're gonna meet him, you know, and he's like,
- 12:42Speaker 2: my son's like it's okay, dad. I had a good
- 12:44Speaker 2: time at dinner either way. And then my buddy Chip
- 12:47Speaker 2: calls me and he's like, hey, hold on, I think
- 12:50Speaker 2: Warren's at the hotel, but he wants to say Hi,
- 12:52Speaker 2: maybe just you know, go by, come in the lobby,
- 12:55Speaker 2: say what's up, get a picture or whatever. And I'm like, yeah,
- 12:57Speaker 2: that'd be great. My son would love that. And I
- 12:59Speaker 2: was a I'm a huge fan of Warren too. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 2: no problem. So then he calls me back and he's like, actually,
- 13:05Speaker 2: he's just gonna get in your truck and Warren is
- 13:08Speaker 2: he goes, yeah, we're gonna take him to Riot room this,
- 13:13Speaker 2: you know, co Wetzel's riot room, which my buddy Emil
- 13:16Speaker 2: who was with us, owns right, And I was like, oh, okay,
- 13:19Speaker 2: well we'll drive him there. Sure. So Lauren just gets
- 13:23Speaker 2: in my car and I'm like, oh hey, and he's like, hey,
- 13:27Speaker 2: what's going on. I'm like yeah, and he's like, I'm like,
- 13:29Speaker 2: this is my son, Rider, and we're driving him to
- 13:32Speaker 2: the bar on West Seventh. So I was like, this
- 13:36Speaker 2: is awesome. The whole way he sees my son's football
- 13:38Speaker 2: helmet in the back seat, and I was like, yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 2: he plays. You know, he's a defensive player. He plays like,
- 13:43Speaker 2: you know, defensive tackle, linebacker, whatever. He's like, oh, so
- 13:46Speaker 2: he gives him like the most incredible life talk. Really, yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 2: this is from a Hall of Famer. On the way there,
- 13:52Speaker 2: he's telling Rider, he's telling you listen, you listen to
- 13:55Speaker 2: your coaches, you do the fundamentals over and over again,
- 13:58Speaker 2: and he's just giving him like this inspira rational talk,
- 14:01Speaker 2: and I was like, this is worth it. And my son,
- 14:03Speaker 2: you know, his face is just lit up. So I
- 14:05Speaker 2: was like that's cool. We get to like have a
- 14:07Speaker 2: good ten minutes with Warren, get a picture and we'll leave.
- 14:10Speaker 2: So we pull up to Riot room and I'm thinking
- 14:13Speaker 2: we're leaving because my son's fourteen and it's like nine thirty,
- 14:17Speaker 2: ten o'clock at night. Yeah we're Warren sapsuber. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 2: I took him in the bar. His mom is.
- 14:32Speaker 11: His mom.
- 14:33Speaker 2: His mom is not going to be happy. I'm just
- 14:36Speaker 2: waiting for it. So anyway, because my friend, you know,
- 14:38Speaker 2: my good friend of meal owns the bar. So he's like,
- 14:42Speaker 2: just bring him in. It's not illegal. He's he's like,
- 14:45Speaker 2: you know, as long as you're here, and as long
- 14:48Speaker 2: as you know I say it's okay, then it's fine,
- 14:51Speaker 2: bring him in. So Warren goes, well, come on in,
- 14:54Speaker 2: little man. So here we are going in the riot room.
- 15:00Speaker 2: We're just walking in past security, past the line. My
- 15:04Speaker 2: son is his eyes are wide open because he's never
- 15:07Speaker 2: been in a.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Place like, Oh, you don't think people do this in
- 15:10Speaker 1: the dark.
- 15:10Speaker 2: No, it's an incredible bar place right like it's but
- 15:13Speaker 2: it's not more than just like your local bar. It's
- 15:15Speaker 2: like kind of a club. There's a DJ. Things are
- 15:18Speaker 2: going crazy, you know, the waitresses are wearing special outfits
- 15:24Speaker 2: revealing rider's very happy. So I go, this is just
- 15:32Speaker 2: oh no, what are we gonna do? So I guess
- 15:34Speaker 2: I'm a bad dad. So we go to the bar.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I go, you know, a Meal's like, what do you
- 15:38Speaker 2: want to drink? And I was like, well, I'll just
- 15:40Speaker 2: take it. I'm not drinking. I'll just take a water.
- 15:42Speaker 2: My son's like, I'll just take a sprite. So he's
- 15:45Speaker 2: like okay. Warren's like, well I'll take a beer. Okay,
- 15:48Speaker 2: So we get our drinks or whatever. The funniest thing happens.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Warren's trying to be nice and he goes to cheers.
- 15:53Speaker 2: My son Rider doesn't know what he's doing. Rider grabs
- 15:57Speaker 2: his beer.
- 16:03Speaker 7: What do you do?
- 16:08Speaker 10: You know?
- 16:08Speaker 2: He goes to cheers and he's like what Rider just
- 16:11Speaker 2: instinct was like things he's handed to him, so he
- 16:14Speaker 2: goes to grab it. Yeah, Warren goes, hey, what you doing?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Little man takes it back and I was like Rider.
- 16:22Speaker 2: He goes, I didn't know what I thought. He was
- 16:24Speaker 2: giving me a beer. I said, this is this night
- 16:27Speaker 2: is crazy? I said no, then all night. Warren's like, man,
- 16:33Speaker 2: you were gonna have You're gonna have some trouble with
- 16:35Speaker 2: this one at fourteen And he tried to take my beer.
- 16:40Speaker 2: So we stayed for a little while, like, Rider, don't
- 16:42Speaker 2: get excited, you're not staying here long. But his eyes
- 16:46Speaker 2: were just so we're in like a little booths where
- 16:48Speaker 2: they do bottle service for a minute. Rider was just
- 16:51Speaker 2: trying to act like he's been there before. Yeah, you know,
- 16:54Speaker 2: so he's just looking around. I'm in VY, I'm in
- 16:59Speaker 2: v he's taking pictures. We leave and he's trying to
- 17:03Speaker 2: play it all cool, and I'm like, maybe he wasn't
- 17:04Speaker 2: even having a good time, because you know, he just
- 17:06Speaker 2: acted so like, you know, he was acting so chill
- 17:08Speaker 2: and kind of like he's done this before. As soon
- 17:11Speaker 2: as we get in the car, he's like, Dad, Monday,
- 17:14Speaker 2: my friends are not gonna believe me. And I'm like, well,
- 17:20Speaker 2: be careful, put it in context. Don't be like I
- 17:22Speaker 2: went to the club with Warren Sapp. Yeah. He's like, no,
- 17:25Speaker 2: I will. I took some pictures, don't worry. I go,
- 17:27Speaker 2: what do you mean. He's like, I took some pictures
- 17:29Speaker 2: of me in the in the VIP booth. Oh, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: I go, oh, I can't wait to show my teachers.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, just don't show your mom a bad dad alert.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Get it off your chest to commiss you'll feel better.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Welcome to a dirty little Secret.
- 17:44Speaker 2: In the new mix one O two point nine and
- 17:46Speaker 2: good morning for a Monday. It's not a bad day
- 17:48Speaker 2: so far, right, Cannis, we got this, We got it.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It's Bailly the Kid, Cannie low fans producer poo, start
- 17:53Speaker 2: your week off, Frida, all right, just call us with
- 17:55Speaker 2: those dirty little secrets. Let us know what's going on.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Confess eight three three seven eight seven one o two night.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Now you have one and this is ah, well, this
- 18:02Speaker 2: is a tough situation secret and a tough situation.
- 18:05Speaker 8: I am definitely in a tough position because I worked
- 18:08Speaker 8: at the same company for for year and a half. Now, well,
- 18:12Speaker 8: I climbed the ladder pretty pretty fast, pretty quickly. My
- 18:16Speaker 8: good friend who I work with.
- 18:18Speaker 10: Is in a manager position.
- 18:20Speaker 8: He's my supervisor, which, by the way, he hates being
- 18:24Speaker 8: my supervisor.
- 18:26Speaker 10: He always complains, you know, he's been he've been doing
- 18:29Speaker 10: this for a long time and he just burned out
- 18:31Speaker 10: over it. But you know he's too late to go
- 18:33Speaker 10: look for another job. Anyway, we have this like a
- 18:37Speaker 10: new big boss.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Yeah who you.
- 18:40Speaker 7: Know doesn't know?
- 18:41Speaker 10: That's that.
- 18:42Speaker 8: My friend and I are like close friends and well,
- 18:45Speaker 8: last week he pretty much told me at a lunch
- 18:47Speaker 8: that that we had that there's going to be some
- 18:50Speaker 8: big changes coming, and without really you know, telling me
- 18:55Speaker 8: straight up, he said that I was going to be
- 18:58Speaker 8: taking my friend's job.
- 19:00Speaker 10: Oh yeah, I mean I threw me poor looke.
- 19:04Speaker 2: You know. Do I want it? Yes?
- 19:06Speaker 10: Absolutely, But it's so awkward now because I.
- 19:10Speaker 8: Mean, what am I What am I going to do?
- 19:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I say, no, I mean obviously there's more money, right,
- 19:17Speaker 5: I'm sure it is.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Right.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Do you tell your you know you're moving up the ladder?
- 19:21Speaker 2: Do you tell your friend? Do you get? My head's up?
- 19:23Speaker 2: But then it's like you could get in trouble.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Nightmare?
- 19:27Speaker 4: No, I know.
- 19:28Speaker 10: I mean I don't know what to do because he's
- 19:29Speaker 10: my friend. I mean, I feel like he hates his job.
- 19:32Speaker 10: He told me he hates his job.
- 19:33Speaker 7: But you know, I don't know, maybe this would be
- 19:36Speaker 7: the best thing for him in the long run, you know,
- 19:38Speaker 7: Or do I pull on the side and I tell him,
- 19:40Speaker 7: you know, I just don't want to risk my chance
- 19:42Speaker 7: of the boss finding out not promoting me, or you know,
- 19:46Speaker 7: or worse.
- 19:47Speaker 10: Me getting fired.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Right, so you're thinking about actually taking it? He doesn't
- 19:51Speaker 2: know anything about it. You're thinking about just letting the
- 19:53Speaker 2: plan unfold.
- 19:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean it's it's it's tough because I don't know.
- 19:58Speaker 8: You know.
- 19:58Speaker 10: It's like I want to I want to tell him,
- 20:01Speaker 10: but I don't want to tell him, you know. You know,
- 20:03Speaker 10: I actually feel like this job is for me, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 10: and I want to grow, But you know, I just
- 20:08Speaker 10: don't know what to do.
- 20:09Speaker 2: This is tough, Candice. What would you do in a
- 20:11Speaker 2: situation like this?
- 20:12Speaker 4: Oh God, I.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Think I would have to like draw hints or something
- 20:17Speaker 1: so that they were prepared, you know what I mean,
- 20:19Speaker 1: if I if I intend to accept a job, yeah, or.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You know yeah, or start encouraging him to find something
- 20:26Speaker 2: new if he hates it. That's the part that makes
- 20:28Speaker 2: it a little bit weird because you're like, well, he
- 20:30Speaker 2: hates this job anyway, if he doesn't.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Want me to justify this happening.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Otherwise, if he loved this job, I think it'd
- 20:35Speaker 2: be easier to be like, hey, I can't do this,
- 20:37Speaker 2: just to let you know. I might even tell my supervisor.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I wish you would have told me that, because we're
- 20:41Speaker 2: actually really close friends.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I don't know, But if he doesn't like his job,
- 20:45Speaker 2: you feel like you're you're kind of like doing him
- 20:47Speaker 2: a favor in a weird way.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Anybody could feel like they hate their job at any day.
- 20:50Speaker 4: At their job, but they don't want to not have
- 20:52Speaker 4: a job.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you still need a job. Who if you were
- 20:56Speaker 2: if they said to you, Pooh were coming to you
- 20:58Speaker 2: in a couple of weeks. Here it's kind gonna be
- 21:00Speaker 2: the Pooh in the Morning show and no longer Billy
- 21:03Speaker 2: the kid. What would you this God? Would you come
- 21:06Speaker 2: to me or would you say? You know what? This
- 21:08Speaker 2: is the moment I've been waiting for, finally my time
- 21:11Speaker 2: to shine.
- 21:12Speaker 3: No, I'm out.
- 21:13Speaker 5: I wouldn't like if it was a regular square job,
- 21:15Speaker 5: I tell you that you're going and I'd probably take
- 21:18Speaker 5: the job.
- 21:19Speaker 3: But this, no, I wouldn't do it.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You wouldn't take it. Okay, that's only because he doesn't
- 21:24Speaker 2: know how to run the controls.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I mean, say, say the name. What would it be
- 21:28Speaker 3: called again?
- 21:28Speaker 2: Pooh in the morning, take a poo in the morning. No,
- 21:34Speaker 2: that would be your slogan. Everybody wants a poo in
- 21:37Speaker 2: the morning.
- 21:39Speaker 3: No.
- 21:40Speaker 2: No, okay, So sir, this is a tough tolem. I
- 21:43Speaker 2: wish I could help you you're gonna have to let
- 21:45Speaker 2: us know how it unfolds and how it turns out,
- 21:47Speaker 2: because you don't want to do that to friends, and
- 21:50Speaker 2: nothing's more important than a strong friendship. But I say that,
- 21:54Speaker 2: but the bills, yes that, and you got it to me.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You have have to talk to him first.
- 22:01Speaker 12: What about or maybe talking to telling the boss you know, hey,
- 22:05Speaker 12: he's a really good guy, and you know it's awkward
- 22:09Speaker 12: just because he's a good guy without letting him know that.
- 22:11Speaker 2: He's my friends, you know, yeah, you could do that,
- 22:13Speaker 2: or you could say, listen, I should have been more
- 22:15Speaker 2: transparent at during our meeting or friends, and I just
- 22:18Speaker 2: want to make it known that this has kind of
- 22:20Speaker 2: put me in a really awkward situation. How do you
- 22:23Speaker 2: advise that I handle it that way? It's like on
- 22:26Speaker 2: the boss's terms, you have to do whatever he says,
- 22:28Speaker 2: and that makes it easier because then you're like, hey,
- 22:30Speaker 2: I was going to lose my job if I said anything,
- 22:33Speaker 2: or you know, whatever the case may be. That way,
- 22:35Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe you could try that and see
- 22:37Speaker 2: what he says.
- 22:38Speaker 10: Okay, thanks, all right, Well.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Good luck man. I'm sorry you're in this position. That's tough.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Maybe it works out the best for him. Maybe he
- 22:45Speaker 4: needs to move on.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe you're the supervisor and you you know, and
- 22:48Speaker 2: it turns out he finds something better, he's happy, life
- 22:51Speaker 2: is good. Your to your friends and he's like, I'm
- 22:53Speaker 2: so glad that happened, or he hates you and he
- 22:56Speaker 2: never talks to you again.
- 22:57Speaker 10: Yeah, it's the thing. I don't want him to feel
- 22:59Speaker 10: like I'm pushing it out.
- 23:00Speaker 2: But it'll work out.
- 23:02Speaker 10: I appreciate that, appreciate the help.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, good luck. All right, dirty little secret. I
- 23:07Speaker 2: just realized something. Who said too, And he said, if
- 23:09Speaker 2: this was a regular job, he would take it. He
- 23:10Speaker 2: would take my job, not tell me, you said, when
- 23:13Speaker 2: you tell me? Or I said, I'd tell you and
- 23:15Speaker 2: then take my job.
- 23:16Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Yeah, if it was a square job, working a square
- 23:19Speaker 5: job like working at a warehouse or something like that,
- 23:21Speaker 5: would be like, hey, I'm sorry, they gonna let you go,
- 23:23Speaker 5: so I'm gonna just I'm gonna go ahead and.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Take that position. Wow, you would ain't nothing.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I wouldn't do that to you. You would No, I
- 23:31Speaker 2: would not.
- 23:32Speaker 3: No, I wouldn't. I wouldn't at least telling you.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I'd be like, that's my friend's job. He's got a
- 23:38Speaker 2: family defeed. That's what i'd say. You're like, I take it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: What's the difference between this job?
- 23:44Speaker 10: Then?
- 23:45Speaker 3: Oh well this job is different.
- 23:49Speaker 4: This job you just can't.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not trying.
- 23:52Speaker 2: To be that. We should switch rolls one day. Yeah
- 23:55Speaker 2: you want to switch rolls one day? Or maybe you
- 23:57Speaker 2: and Candas should switch roles when you do take two
- 24:00Speaker 2: top stories. Oh wow, you want to do that.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I think I could do it. May we are so
- 24:06Speaker 3: going to do it.
- 24:07Speaker 2: We are so going to do that one day. This
- 24:09Speaker 2: week is Testa's Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's
- 24:13Speaker 2: the Kid in the Morning only on the new Mixed one.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Or two point nine?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Why you went some money? Were starting to pay bills again?
- 24:19Speaker 2: So so much cash up for grabs? What would you
- 24:21Speaker 2: do with an extra thousand dollars? I'm like hungry right now,
- 24:23Speaker 2: so i'mthing how many breakfast tacos I could get?
- 24:26Speaker 6: Right?
- 24:26Speaker 2: What of the thousand dollars? Like, oh god, I would
- 24:29Speaker 2: kill for a breakfast taco right about now? Yeah, I
- 24:32Speaker 2: don't know. I'm trying to watch my figure. Canis all right?
- 24:36Speaker 2: You got to win that about twenty minutes away. One
- 24:38Speaker 2: thousand dollars, Cannis, what's going on?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Well, the Cowboys came up with a win yesterday against
- 24:42Speaker 1: the Jets, thirty seven to twenty two.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Looking back, four touchdown passes. That's a new high for him.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I was shocked to see Aubrey missed that one field
- 24:51Speaker 1: goal though.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Oh the extra point I expect.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I did not expect that extra point to just
- 24:55Speaker 1: go off the post.
- 24:56Speaker 2: That's okay. I'm like, you know what, get it onto
- 24:58Speaker 2: your system. Yeah, okay.
- 24:59Speaker 4: It wasn't like we need and.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Listen okay to Jet suck. I get it. But I'm
- 25:02Speaker 2: still going to celebrate a Cowboys win.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Well, I mean yeah, you can't get excited because they suck.
- 25:08Speaker 2: First of all, It's the NFL. You never know what's
- 25:09Speaker 2: going to happen, totally, and I'm celebrating. How about them Boys?
- 25:12Speaker 2: I don't care?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Well, the Cowboys will travel to play the Carolina Panthers
- 25:16Speaker 1: Sunday at noon.
- 25:17Speaker 4: By the way, it was obviously a.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Big weekend for Taylor Swift. But did you hear Jerry
- 25:21Speaker 1: Jones talking about how much of a swifty.
- 25:24Speaker 4: He is In the middle of all this.
- 25:26Speaker 1: He was doing an interview and they asked him if
- 25:29Speaker 1: he's prepared for Taylor Swift to pull up to AT
- 25:31Speaker 1: and T Stadium for the Cowboys Chiefs game on Thanksgiving,
- 25:34Speaker 1: and he said he would have an elaborate seat for
- 25:37Speaker 1: her if she comes to the game, that no one
- 25:39Speaker 1: is a bigger fan of her than he is, which
- 25:41Speaker 1: I was like, heh, yeah, I get it, but like,
- 25:44Speaker 1: what a weird thing to say.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Don't forget he's a business man.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So he's like, oh, I'll have a great seat for that. Oh,
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, pudas that Jerry Jones, miss.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Taylor Swift shows up, I'll have a great seat for her.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Wow, yep, the inflection is good.
- 26:00Speaker 3: She can sit in. Michael pausing, sweet.
- 26:05Speaker 5: Macaca, you can have MICA's Macas says he's still paying
- 26:10Speaker 5: for it.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Impressions are so bad, they're good.
- 26:15Speaker 11: I actually like that.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Please stop again.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, he does save michaeh. Parsons like Jerry say, oh.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Mica, me and Michael. I had to talk with Mica.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Say I'm all in.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I'm all in.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Oh, good job, very good. Did you see Jerry flip
- 26:36Speaker 2: off the Jets fans? God, Jerry, I love him? Yeah, yes,
- 26:42Speaker 2: and I love it because that's how I'm gonna be Wait, oh,
- 26:44Speaker 2: just wait, he's a billionaire.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Where do you see me?
- 26:47Speaker 2: That agent bro Well, because he was in the suite
- 26:51Speaker 2: and they we turn around. You know, he gets hackled
- 26:52Speaker 2: everywhere he goes if he's on the road. So there's
- 26:55Speaker 2: talking crap or whatever. Some people are showing love, some
- 26:58Speaker 2: people are talking crap. And eventual he just saw him.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You saw him flip flip everyone off, or flip one
- 27:03Speaker 2: fan off, he pointed. One fan flipped him off. Right.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Oh wow, I love it, she said, I'm all in all,
- 27:09Speaker 2: I think that guy had I think that guy had
- 27:11Speaker 2: a mic and Jersey man.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Well, of course, Taylor Swift absolutely owned the weekend after
- 27:17Speaker 1: the release of the Life of a Showgirl. It broke
- 27:19Speaker 1: streaming records on multiple platforms, now the most streamed album
- 27:22Speaker 1: ever in a single day. It's sold two point seven
- 27:25Speaker 1: million copies on the first day. She also didn't release
- 27:29Speaker 1: individual songs for purchase, so that definitely helped. But I mean,
- 27:33Speaker 1: she put out twelve different CD versions, eight vinyls, two
- 27:36Speaker 1: deluxe is a cassette, Like.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I mean, how is she not going to break records?
- 27:40Speaker 7: You know?
- 27:40Speaker 4: With this thing?
- 27:41Speaker 1: The release party movie crushed it as well, bringing in
- 27:44Speaker 1: thirty three million. But here are a few things we
- 27:47Speaker 1: learned from the weekend. She says she will not be
- 27:49Speaker 1: going on tour anytime soon, that she's basically just tired,
- 27:53Speaker 1: which makes a lot of sense. Also, fifty cent was
- 27:56Speaker 1: happy to get a shout out on the album, And
- 28:00Speaker 1: we also learned that wedding planning hasn't really started. She
- 28:02Speaker 1: says she's going to get through the album stuff first,
- 28:04Speaker 1: but says this will be fun to plan. And I
- 28:06Speaker 1: might have been wrong about this because I'm hearing that
- 28:09Speaker 1: she wants to throw a huge wedding because she's kind
- 28:12Speaker 1: of like, I don't want the drama of trying to
- 28:14Speaker 1: pick and choose who to invite and like creating you
- 28:17Speaker 1: know who, you know, everyone's wondering, well so and so
- 28:19Speaker 1: good invited? Well so and so get invited. And she's
- 28:22Speaker 1: kind of trying to avoid that.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Why not if money's not an issue, why not just
- 28:25Speaker 2: have everyone there, right.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Just run out a whole island or buy an island.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Right, just buying one night, Just buy an island. Bite
- 28:32Speaker 2: Jerry Joe.
- 28:32Speaker 4: If I were her, Jerry bit the wedding.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Jerry's going to be there.
- 28:38Speaker 3: He's gonna give Taylor away.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't forget.
- 28:41Speaker 1: By the way, she'll be on the Tonight Show tonight,
- 28:44Speaker 1: Oh she will. Yeah, she's got a couple of TV
- 28:46Speaker 1: appearances on Late night this week.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Did you live with the album and like listen to
- 28:49Speaker 2: it over the weekend?
- 28:50Speaker 4: I lived with the first seven songs. I think the first.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Well I had to go back and re listen and
- 28:57Speaker 1: then watch the lyrics and then discuss with my friend
- 28:59Speaker 1: and Atlanta, who's a big swiftie, and go back and
- 29:02Speaker 1: forth on it.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Did you listen to the very promiscuous riskue songs that
- 29:07Speaker 2: she wrote about Travis?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's like lots of theories about different numbers
- 29:11Speaker 1: in there and mathematical equations.
- 29:13Speaker 4: And what those mean. It's a lot.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I like the album. I just think it's funny because
- 29:17Speaker 2: it's just we're not used to hearing Taylor say anything
- 29:21Speaker 2: dirty or risk a. Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Well, they said, you know, don't let Donna hear this album,
- 29:25Speaker 1: which is Travis's mom.
- 29:26Speaker 2: So yeah, Donna's gonna be upset.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I mean, what's she gonna do.
- 29:29Speaker 2: She's gonna be like ew earplugs, ear mops.
- 29:31Speaker 1: E ear mops, here's what I'm making for Thanksgiving exactly. Well,
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'm Kanda Slopez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 29:40Speaker 3: He's going for Candace Court.
- 29:43Speaker 7: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning,
- 29:46Speaker 7: All rise.
- 29:46Speaker 2: For the Honorable Judge Canda Slopez. Cordy is in sessions.
- 29:49Speaker 2: She has her gabble. Is your gabl around there?
- 29:51Speaker 8: It is?
- 29:51Speaker 9: I didn't see.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I didn't know if court was in session. If I
- 29:54Speaker 2: didn't see the gabble. Sometimes you throw it at us.
- 29:56Speaker 2: You don't know what she's gonna do, Okay, buying the scene.
- 29:59Speaker 2: She gets a little, a little bit crazy sometimes, especially
- 30:02Speaker 2: on a Monday. It's a new makes one on two
- 30:04Speaker 2: point nine. If Bailly a kid, I'm just a bailiff producer, pooh,
- 30:06Speaker 2: you're a bailiff. It's Kandas's court and she makes the
- 30:09Speaker 2: rules and the decisions. And if you've got a problem
- 30:11Speaker 2: at Candas on air, hit her up at Canas on air.
- 30:14Speaker 2: This is a really good one. So maybe I'm crazy,
- 30:17Speaker 2: but tell me if this is weird. We've all seen
- 30:21Speaker 2: more and more workers putting out tip jars in hopes
- 30:23Speaker 2: of getting a little extra cash from customers. I get it.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Times are tough. I've seen it at coffee shops, car washes,
- 30:30Speaker 2: gas stations, grocery stores, but I've never seen one at
- 30:34Speaker 2: a doctor's office until now.
- 30:39Speaker 7: No.
- 30:39Speaker 2: On Friday, I went in for a physical and saw
- 30:43Speaker 2: a tip jar at the reception desk. What what have
- 30:49Speaker 2: I been in the dark on this one? Or is
- 30:52Speaker 2: this more common than I realize? Do we have to
- 30:55Speaker 2: tip everyone now just for doing their jobs? I'm sorry,
- 30:58Speaker 2: but I'm not tipping anyone at my doctor's office. I'm
- 31:02Speaker 2: taking this to Cannis Court. Here we are Cannis, Okay.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I have never never in my life.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Well, is that a joke?
- 31:11Speaker 2: Tip jar? No, it doesn't sound like a tip.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Well, some people will be like, obviously you don't tip here,
- 31:16Speaker 1: So this is just like a joke, like leave me
- 31:18Speaker 1: a tip, or I don't know, maybe they want you
- 31:20Speaker 1: to write something down.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Maybe it's a literal tip, and it's not.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Money, it's money, it's money. I've never seen this. Who
- 31:26Speaker 2: was saying the other day though, that he's seen this?
- 31:29Speaker 3: Where did you see this at a doctor's office?
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:32Speaker 3: And Wiley, I promise.
- 31:33Speaker 5: And it was old girl's birthday too, so she had
- 31:36Speaker 5: like dollar bills, you know, paying to her scrubs, but yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 5: it's a tip here.
- 31:41Speaker 6: Really.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Yeah. If I'm a doctor, I'm want to be like, hey,
- 31:44Speaker 2: I don't know if that's a good idea, because that's
- 31:46Speaker 2: just yeah, I don't think.
- 31:47Speaker 4: We're tipping healthcare workers.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I don't think most would even accept, like even if
- 31:51Speaker 1: you tried to, Like I feel like it's probably in
- 31:54Speaker 1: their like code of conduct or something we can't take
- 31:56Speaker 1: like monetary tips, right, because.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Let's be real, like if we start tip, like, let's
- 32:00Speaker 2: say we tip a surgeon, yeah, like you're about to
- 32:03Speaker 2: do hard surgery around me, Like, now that's the person
- 32:06Speaker 2: I've probably tip.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but I think like flowers, cookies, streets, like maybe.
- 32:11Speaker 2: But if I don't, am I going to get this
- 32:13Speaker 2: same kind of care and surgery or is he going.
- 32:14Speaker 4: To be like you better?
- 32:15Speaker 2: We don't need to stitch that up. It'll be okay.
- 32:19Speaker 6: No.
- 32:20Speaker 2: But it's the.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Places where they're are now asking for thirty and thirty
- 32:23Speaker 1: five percent tips where I'm like, that's.
- 32:25Speaker 4: A little much, you know what I mean.
- 32:26Speaker 2: And one of the new hustles is you know how
- 32:28Speaker 2: they spin the tablet around you have to tip, yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 2: and it'll say you know, it used to say fifteen, twenty,
- 32:34Speaker 2: twenty two, twenty five. Now it just starts at twenty.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Right, It's like there's no option, which I'm not.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Necessarily mad about that, because I'll tip twenty percent.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I never really tip less than twenty percent, but
- 32:45Speaker 4: I don't up to thirty five.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Some people are saying that the new hustle is that
- 32:49Speaker 2: those percentages aren't even correct. Oh, They've caught multiple restaurants
- 32:53Speaker 2: and people was saying like, oh, it says you know,
- 32:57Speaker 2: twenty percent, but the twenty percent is actually thirty. Really, yes,
- 33:02Speaker 2: that's happened, And if you've ever gotten scammed on that,
- 33:05Speaker 2: let me know. Yeah, but who should we be tipping
- 33:07Speaker 2: and who should we not be tipping? This has been
- 33:09Speaker 2: a discussion and a hot take for a long time now. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 2: is it somebody at a doctor's office?
- 33:14Speaker 10: Right?
- 33:14Speaker 1: I mean, I still like that guy's theory where he says,
- 33:17Speaker 1: if I'm ordering or paying standing up.
- 33:19Speaker 4: I'm not tipping. I'm like, I mean that makes a
- 33:22Speaker 4: lot of sense.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Like the time I ordered the birthday cake online and
- 33:25Speaker 1: it asked me to tip, and I tipped twenty percent.
- 33:27Speaker 4: I did birthday cake, Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And all I did was roll up and be like Hey,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm picking up an order for Candace.
- 33:33Speaker 4: They handed it to me and I left.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Oh that's wild. Yeah, Now, to me, that's not something
- 33:37Speaker 2: you would tip for.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Yeah, well I did because it shamed me.
- 33:40Speaker 2: If you get there and you're like, wow, this is
- 33:42Speaker 2: so good, I want to tip the girl because she
- 33:44Speaker 2: did such an incredible job here. Of course, that's different,
- 33:47Speaker 2: but asking for it before you even get it, yeah,
- 33:50Speaker 2: is a little strange.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I don't like tipping on like delivery orders sometimes, because
- 33:53Speaker 1: you're asking me to tip before you've even delivered the
- 33:55Speaker 1: food or given me the service, and I'm like, already
- 33:58Speaker 1: give you twenty percent, and now there's cheese on my.
- 34:01Speaker 7: You know.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Like, I won't even go to the car wash if
- 34:03Speaker 2: I don't have money to tip, really, because I feel.
- 34:06Speaker 4: So bad that Yeah, that's true.
- 34:08Speaker 2: The car wash, Oh now they have a QR codes though,
- 34:10Speaker 2: she'll hit me. I'll be like, oh get my car washed?
- 34:12Speaker 2: Should go here?
- 34:13Speaker 10: You go?
- 34:13Speaker 2: You could scan this you there's no which I don't mind.
- 34:17Speaker 2: But I mean is that I don't mind tipping at
- 34:18Speaker 2: the car wash. I don't mind tipping at most places.
- 34:21Speaker 2: The doctor's office maybe where I draw the line.
- 34:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree, Okay, they had a little jar to say,
- 34:27Speaker 5: get your girl of coffee?
- 34:29Speaker 2: Oh is that what it said?
- 34:30Speaker 3: Get your girl of coffee? And yeah, there was a
- 34:32Speaker 3: couple of dollar bills up in there.
- 34:33Speaker 2: But then when you really think about it, I'm like, well,
- 34:35Speaker 2: then should we be tipping teachers, because like teachers are
- 34:38Speaker 2: to me underpaid?
- 34:39Speaker 4: For sure?
- 34:39Speaker 2: Should we tip our teachers because I mean, I don't
- 34:41Speaker 2: mind the idea of tippy nurses because they work so hard.
- 34:44Speaker 2: But at the same time, it's just a different kind
- 34:46Speaker 2: of environment where you you wouldn't.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Should we get tips? Should we start a cash out?
- 34:51Speaker 2: All right? Put on a tip outside of the study.
- 34:54Speaker 2: See if we get anything today? Play your song for
- 35:00Speaker 2: a buck.
- 35:01Speaker 4: I think that's I think that's illegal for DJs.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I also think it's illegal. Okay, it's in a mix
- 35:06Speaker 2: one or two point nine bill at a kid candas
- 35:08Speaker 2: slow pez producer poo is here. We had a Kansas
- 35:10Speaker 2: court where this girl, well, she wrote in and I
- 35:12Speaker 2: think it's a valid concern. She's like, I went to
- 35:14Speaker 2: the doctor's office and I couldn't believe they had a
- 35:16Speaker 2: tip jar at the reception desk.
- 35:19Speaker 4: No, I've never seen that.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I've never seen it. Pooh said he saw once, which
- 35:22Speaker 2: I'm like, what kind of doctor's office are you going
- 35:24Speaker 2: to it? But nothing surprises me anymore. And she's like,
- 35:28Speaker 2: I didn't feel like I should tip. So and Candace,
- 35:31Speaker 2: you found that doctor's office guilty yeah, of being twenty
- 35:34Speaker 2: percent Tammy's for sure? Where do you think you should
- 35:37Speaker 2: not be tipping? Like Matt just hit me up on Instagram?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Matt goes, oh, there's a liquor store by my house
- 35:41Speaker 2: that I go to in Plano that asked me to tip.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Huh Like okay, what I've never seen it? But not
- 35:51Speaker 2: just like a tip jar, Like they turn the tablet around. Oh,
- 35:53Speaker 2: and they're like, that's see, that's the pressure. Yeah, the
- 35:57Speaker 2: tablet is much more intense.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Than the Yeah, well that tells me you expect it.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Yes, that's not even an option. And you know how
- 36:05Speaker 2: they spent it. Before they spent it, they always said
- 36:06Speaker 2: the same thing. It's just gonna ask you.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Little Sea a couple of questions down below.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I have kids to free.
- 36:11Speaker 3: You're like, wait, what right?
- 36:13Speaker 2: Like, oh, nothing, nothing, okay, what place do you you
- 36:19Speaker 2: were asked the tip? Where Emma? What happened?
- 36:21Speaker 13: Yes, this past weekend I was out doing cleaning some
- 36:25Speaker 13: houses and I stopped at a yard celle and the
- 36:28Speaker 13: lady had a tip jar. So whenever I went to
- 36:32Speaker 13: pay for my stuff, she like kind of like moved
- 36:35Speaker 13: her jar, like are you gonna sip something.
- 36:40Speaker 2: At a yard? I mean, I feel like the yard
- 36:42Speaker 2: sale just charged me more. Then if you want to
- 36:45Speaker 2: get extra money, just charge me a dollar more.
- 36:47Speaker 13: Well, I still didn't put nothing in the jar.
- 36:49Speaker 10: I kept it pushing you.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I love that she pushed it towards you too, Like, right,
- 36:56Speaker 2: oh that is good.
- 36:57Speaker 10: Oh pretty.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I love a good yard sale. By the way, I
- 37:00Speaker 2: don't care why am I is that weird?
- 37:03Speaker 4: I just didn't think that I'm.
- 37:05Speaker 2: A yard sale guy. Really, yes, am I? I will
- 37:08Speaker 2: yard sale with you.
- 37:09Speaker 9: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 37:11Speaker 13: It's it's fun. You find stuff that you probably won't
- 37:13Speaker 13: find in this story anymore.
- 37:15Speaker 2: So like most guys don't like yard sales, I'm all
- 37:17Speaker 2: in on the yard sale. I will go to yard sales.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I will do it. Seriously. Well, Emma, thank you so much.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And I think that's hysteric. I'm glad you share. We
- 37:26Speaker 2: appreciate you. Have a great Monday, you too. By Mike,
- 37:29Speaker 2: what's up, Mike? How are you.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Oh doing all right?
- 37:31Speaker 9: Hey, I don't know medical before worse, Oh you do.
- 37:35Speaker 6: I was, yes, sir, and I was out there just helping,
- 37:37Speaker 6: helping them say good bye the patients.
- 37:39Speaker 10: I noticed my receptions had a tip her off there
- 37:41Speaker 10: one day.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Stop.
- 37:45Speaker 10: I went, no, way what I obviously made her take
- 37:51Speaker 10: it down. I'm like, no, this is inappropriate.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So maybe she went to your place, Mike.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Maybe she went to your place and that's where she
- 37:58Speaker 2: saw it.
- 38:00Speaker 13: Who knows, but yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 10: That's that was interesting. But I obviously took it down
- 38:05Speaker 10: and there was a few things. But that reception doesn't
- 38:07Speaker 10: work with us anymore.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Oh okay. So they were trying to get a love
- 38:10Speaker 2: It was weird. She had her Venmo off, but she said,
- 38:12Speaker 2: just well, good for you, Mike. Well, thank you so much.
- 38:16Speaker 2: We appreciate you calling. Have a great day. All right,
- 38:19Speaker 2: thank you there seeing Mike. Okay, Brittany and Ulyss, what's up, Brittany?
- 38:22Speaker 9: How are you really good?
- 38:24Speaker 2: I'm good. So you've been asked to tip in a
- 38:26Speaker 2: place where you're like, I don't know if I should
- 38:27Speaker 2: be tipping here? Where? Where was it?
- 38:29Speaker 11: So I've got too I think from one of them
- 38:32Speaker 11: for sure. Is the frozen yogurt shops that you walk
- 38:35Speaker 11: into and you serve yourself your own ice cream or yogurt,
- 38:38Speaker 11: and then you put your own toppings on there, and
- 38:40Speaker 11: then you go.
- 38:40Speaker 6: And you weigh it.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yes, and then it's like seven hundred dollars yeah, like
- 38:45Speaker 2: sweet frogs, Yes, exactly.
- 38:49Speaker 11: And then the second one. I don't know if this
- 38:51Speaker 11: necessarily counts as a tip, but that's when you go
- 38:53Speaker 11: through the Walmart self checkout. At the end of it
- 38:55Speaker 11: says how did we do today?
- 38:57Speaker 10: I'm like, I had to check myself.
- 39:02Speaker 6: Awful.
- 39:03Speaker 4: Awful.
- 39:04Speaker 2: That's a good point. How did we do today? You
- 39:06Speaker 2: didn't do anything today?
- 39:08Speaker 3: I did it.
- 39:10Speaker 11: I couldn't find something. I was like, can you all
- 39:12Speaker 11: tell me where this is at? And they were like, oh, here,
- 39:14Speaker 11: look up the app and then it will tell you
- 39:16Speaker 11: which I said, or you could just show me yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 11: or just how did you do today?
- 39:25Speaker 8: I was like, well, I did great.
- 39:27Speaker 11: I'm going to give myself a three stars.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Yeah you know what, Brindan, you get you get four stars.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Oh that's a hot tage.
- 39:35Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Here's today's hot take.
- 39:38Speaker 2: I'm caught taking the day on the New Mix one
- 39:39Speaker 2: or two point nine. It's bailing a kid. Candice low Paz,
- 39:42Speaker 2: producer who is here. And when I saw this story
- 39:45Speaker 2: go viral, I said, wow, what would I do? What
- 39:48Speaker 2: would I do in this situation? So this couple gets married, right,
- 39:54Speaker 2: they're happy, everything's great. They do a TikTok that blows
- 39:58Speaker 2: up and goes viral because us he took her last name. Wow,
- 40:05Speaker 2: he took her last name. I'm gonna read you some
- 40:08Speaker 2: of this In the TikTok video, he chose Cameron walking
- 40:10Speaker 2: through the door before joining his wife for a dance party,
- 40:12Speaker 2: has papers in his hand and he's basically like, I
- 40:16Speaker 2: am now mister Muller and that's her last name. And
- 40:19Speaker 2: they were talking about how it was just pure excitement.
- 40:21Speaker 2: They were so happy. They did everything, you know, legally,
- 40:24Speaker 2: like you normally would I don't even know if that's
- 40:26Speaker 2: what you do, because I mean, Cannice, you would know.
- 40:28Speaker 2: You just legally change your name right now, Yeah, that's
- 40:30Speaker 2: what you do.
- 40:31Speaker 4: It's a lot of paperwork.
- 40:32Speaker 2: It's a lot of paperwork. But when they did this,
- 40:35Speaker 2: a lot of people started to freak out. And she said, actually,
- 40:39Speaker 2: it did not cross our minds that anyone would honestly
- 40:41Speaker 2: even care or have anything bad to say about it.
- 40:43Speaker 2: The video went viral two point two million views and
- 40:46Speaker 2: just growing. There was a good amount of supportive comments,
- 40:48Speaker 2: but then there was some very mean comments that started
- 40:51Speaker 2: rolling in, people calling in embarrassing or what a joke,
- 40:54Speaker 2: this is how disrespectful it is to the man in
- 40:58Speaker 2: the relationship, you know whatever. And then she came on
- 41:02Speaker 2: and she said, basically, any man who wouldn't do this
- 41:06Speaker 2: is insecure.
- 41:07Speaker 14: Oh wow, if you wouldn't yet, she said in a video,
- 41:11Speaker 14: if you wouldn't do this, and if you wouldn't take
- 41:13Speaker 14: your wife's last name, then you are just an insecure
- 41:17Speaker 14: man in your part, you know, of just the toxic
- 41:20Speaker 14: masculinity that's going on in our society.
- 41:24Speaker 2: And I thought to myself, like, what would I do
- 41:26Speaker 2: if I were married, or if I were to get
- 41:28Speaker 2: married and my wife was like, hey, can you take
- 41:31Speaker 2: my last name? Would I do it? And there's something
- 41:35Speaker 2: and I would be real honest, yeah, I don't think
- 41:38Speaker 2: I would say why. I don't know, And that's the thing,
- 41:41Speaker 2: and maybe I am toxic.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Well, just because that's the expectation you've had your whole
- 41:46Speaker 1: life that would take your name.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and I feel weird saying that because I know
- 41:51Speaker 2: because part of me goes, yeah, that it feels weird
- 41:53Speaker 2: to take somebody else's last name, but I can't imagine
- 41:55Speaker 2: as a woman. Yeah, does it feel weird?
- 41:58Speaker 4: I mean a little bit, it's odd, for sure.
- 42:01Speaker 2: It feels strange at first. Or does it feel weird
- 42:03Speaker 2: when you're doing it? Because I just can't imagine taking
- 42:07Speaker 2: anyone's last name.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's definitely very strange, but it's also
- 42:11Speaker 1: something like you know, is coming at least.
- 42:14Speaker 4: In our culture.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Okay, that's a good point.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Just grown up that way and our parents did that,
- 42:18Speaker 1: so we're not used to it being the other way around.
- 42:20Speaker 4: But good for you. If you want to do that.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Who cares.
- 42:22Speaker 2: No, it doesn't bother me at all. Somebody wants to
- 42:24Speaker 2: do it. I don't care what you do. Yeah, it doesn't.
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm not going to be like, oh, that's embarrassing.
- 42:29Speaker 1: If are you also insecure? If you're mad that she
- 42:32Speaker 1: wants to keep her last name and not take your last.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Name, that's a good point.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you got to have my name?
- 42:39Speaker 2: Okay, really why?
- 42:41Speaker 3: Because we're getting.
- 42:42Speaker 5: Married in front of the church, God, everybody, all my
- 42:46Speaker 5: friends yeah, you taking my name?
- 42:48Speaker 4: Really?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you ain't keeping your No, why what if she
- 42:51Speaker 2: wants to hyphenate it?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Nope, we're not doing that.
- 42:53Speaker 4: Why what's wrong with the hyphen.
- 42:55Speaker 2: You're you're very toxic right now?
- 42:58Speaker 4: Yah, because I don't want.
- 42:59Speaker 1: To just like disown my whole family like all of
- 43:01Speaker 1: a sudden, I'm not who I've always been.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Your family, You see your family all the time. You
- 43:06Speaker 3: will see your family.
- 43:08Speaker 4: You will say you'll still.
- 43:09Speaker 1: See your family if she doesn't take your name.
- 43:11Speaker 2: So you mean to tell me if missus Pooh Yeah,
- 43:15Speaker 2: didn't want to be like, you know, didn't want to
- 43:17Speaker 2: take the Pooh name. Yeah, right, she didn't want to
- 43:20Speaker 2: be I don't know, Veronica Pooh, and she wanted to
- 43:25Speaker 2: remain Veronica Smith. She wanted to be Veronica Smith Pooh.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Smith.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Yeah that didn't even sound. Wow, she's gonna put my
- 43:33Speaker 3: name before hers and oh, no.
- 43:36Speaker 2: So weird to me because you're not like the most
- 43:40Speaker 2: traditional guy.
- 43:42Speaker 3: No, we're not doing it.
- 43:42Speaker 2: It wouldn't I don't know if I would be disrespected.
- 43:46Speaker 2: I guess it would be the reason behind why she
- 43:48Speaker 2: wanted to keep her name. If maybe she's a professional,
- 43:52Speaker 2: for example, who has a business built around her name. Right,
- 43:56Speaker 2: then I would be like, oh, okay, I get there.
- 43:58Speaker 4: If she's the last one in her family to.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Have that name, I don't think I would make it
- 44:02Speaker 2: such a big deal.
- 44:03Speaker 3: My last name better be Swift of Vergara or something
- 44:08Speaker 3: like that. Yeah.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Oh, so you'd be pooh Swift in a heart Oh
- 44:12Speaker 2: you're being silly in a heartbeat. Now you're being silly.
- 44:15Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 44:15Speaker 5: That's the same as like having her proposed to me.
- 44:18Speaker 5: I'm not letting no woman propose to me.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Well, you wouldn't have a choice if she just did it.
- 44:22Speaker 3: No, right, I'd be like, no.
- 44:24Speaker 2: If you two reading tacos one night together being on
- 44:28Speaker 2: romantic Yeah, and she just got down on one knee
- 44:31Speaker 2: and she just slipped my ring in. It was like
- 44:37Speaker 2: I've been waiting for this moment. Yeah, will you take
- 44:40Speaker 2: my hand in marriage? No, you would say no, I
- 44:43Speaker 2: can't do that. No, that would be.
- 44:47Speaker 3: I can't do this.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Is this a new trend though, because people are saying
- 44:50Speaker 2: they're saying this is happening more and more where men
- 44:53Speaker 2: are taking the woman's last name.
- 44:56Speaker 4: I only have a friend who has done the hyphen thing.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Yeah, So why did she do it.
- 45:02Speaker 4: Uh, she did it. That's a good question. I think
- 45:05Speaker 4: she just did it because.
- 45:07Speaker 1: She professionally had so many contacts and whatever and just
- 45:10Speaker 1: didn't want to deal with you know, going through all
- 45:13Speaker 1: of that and.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Don't you understand that, wouldn't it.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And it being confusing, like all of a sudden you
- 45:16Speaker 1: get an email from somebody and you're like, wait.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Who is this?
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if it'd be I would consider
- 45:21Speaker 2: it disrespectful. I'd just be like, oh, okay, well fine,
- 45:24Speaker 2: that that makes sense. I don't know if she didn't
- 45:27Speaker 2: want to hyphen it, if she didn't want to take
- 45:28Speaker 2: my name at all, I don't know if i'd feel
- 45:31Speaker 2: great about it. But I get over it.
- 45:33Speaker 5: Wait you would, yeah, I mean why not on the
- 45:35Speaker 5: professional email just keep her her old name and then
- 45:38Speaker 5: that's it.
- 45:39Speaker 3: But everything else moving forward, just you got to have
- 45:42Speaker 3: my name on there.
- 45:43Speaker 2: You got to be proud of the period.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Confusing.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot, Like I still have some accounts
- 45:48Speaker 1: that are still my maid name because I'm like, I
- 45:49Speaker 1: don't know that one just like got lost.
- 45:51Speaker 4: In the mix and it hasn't been completed. Like the paperwork.
- 45:54Speaker 2: It's so much I want to know what you think
- 45:56Speaker 2: about this? Eight three three seven, eight seven one h
- 45:58Speaker 2: two nine. Is it weird? Is this a new trend
- 46:00Speaker 2: that ladies you're like, yes, or fellas, you're like, I
- 46:03Speaker 2: would take I would take my wife's last name. Not
- 46:08Speaker 2: a problem.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that lady with a name was Butts
- 46:11Speaker 1: or whatever and she was upset. Remember the dary little scene.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, she didn't want to take his last name because
- 46:15Speaker 2: his last name was Butts and she was going to
- 46:18Speaker 2: be Britney Butts. She's calling up right now, this couple
- 46:23Speaker 2: that just got married. He took her last name, and
- 46:26Speaker 2: we're like, oh, okay, that's different. I don't know if
- 46:29Speaker 2: it's a new trend that this is happening. Ladies, what
- 46:33Speaker 2: do you think about this? You think this should because
- 46:35Speaker 2: I get it. It would be weird for even you know,
- 46:38Speaker 2: something that's traditional for the woman to take the man's
- 46:40Speaker 2: last name. If I was a woman, it's still like
- 46:42Speaker 2: it would feel a little weird to me just to
- 46:44Speaker 2: have a new name, right. It's a strange thing when
- 46:46Speaker 2: you really think about it, you know what I mean?
- 46:47Speaker 9: Okay, Donald, what do you think you know, as a
- 46:50Speaker 9: woman who's done this, and I'm actually I have a
- 46:54Speaker 9: separate name for work that I've had to do a
- 46:57Speaker 9: lot of legal paperwork for.
- 46:59Speaker 11: I Actually I recommend that women don't even bother to
- 47:01Speaker 11: change your name when they get married.
- 47:03Speaker 9: Oh hassle.
- 47:05Speaker 11: You know, there's like people don't need to know about
- 47:07Speaker 11: your life if you just.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Serve your name.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Well, Donna, I hate to break it to you, but
- 47:11Speaker 2: you're never gonna be missus.
- 47:12Speaker 9: Pooh oh, that's okay, change my name again anyway?
- 47:18Speaker 2: Okay, deal, Thank you, Donna. You have a great day. Donna.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Who does have a ring to it, but who's not
- 47:27Speaker 2: tolerating that? Hey, good morning, Gabby, what's up? What do
- 47:31Speaker 2: you think?
- 47:32Speaker 7: Good morning?
- 47:33Speaker 11: Well, I think if we don't want to change your names,
- 47:36Speaker 11: we don't don't have to. It's an optional thing to
- 47:39Speaker 11: do after you get married. Yeah, I didn't take my
- 47:42Speaker 11: cousband's last night.
- 47:43Speaker 2: You didn't take it. Would you want the man to
- 47:46Speaker 2: take your name? No?
- 47:47Speaker 11: No, I don't think that's important. You are where you are. Actually,
- 47:52Speaker 11: in my case, one of the older things that is
- 47:54Speaker 11: important here is it's fantic and we don't change your
- 47:58Speaker 11: last name. It's not a thing.
- 48:00Speaker 9: You don't change it me.
- 48:02Speaker 11: I mean, you can be like honorary missus me, but
- 48:07Speaker 11: in paper, legally you don't change your name.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Well I didn't know that. Well, that's awesome to know. Well,
- 48:14Speaker 2: thank you so much. I love your accent, your accents great.
- 48:18Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Who loves you? He's trying to look at heart's in
- 48:21Speaker 2: his eyes. You're lucky, you're married. Thank you so much. Okay,
- 48:27Speaker 2: let him know, thank you so much. Oye, Why that
- 48:31Speaker 2: guy's gonna come up beat poo? Now, hey, good morning, Robin.
- 48:35Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 48:37Speaker 6: Well, I'm not Mary Norman. I'm in the relationship, but
- 48:40Speaker 6: I do it's hard to get married. I do want
- 48:44Speaker 6: my future husband to get my last name. Oh really, yes,
- 48:51Speaker 6: only because I'm a single mother with three kids and
- 48:55Speaker 6: we all have the same last name, and he wants
- 49:00Speaker 6: to be a part of my family and with my
- 49:03Speaker 6: children and myself. Then he should think to, you know,
- 49:06Speaker 6: take our last name.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, otherwise nod. Let me ask you this, Robin.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Would that be like, for example, pooh, who's like, I
- 49:14Speaker 2: don't want to take a woman's last name? Would that
- 49:16Speaker 2: be a deal break? If you're dating somebody and they're like, hey,
- 49:19Speaker 2: you know what, we get married, I'm not taking your
- 49:21Speaker 2: last name.
- 49:22Speaker 6: If he's willing to compromise and get it hyphenated, then
- 49:26Speaker 6: I could work with that. Oh, but I mean it's
- 49:30Speaker 6: not then I don't know.
- 49:33Speaker 2: No, I get it because you have kids. You have
- 49:34Speaker 2: three kids that you want to You want their last
- 49:37Speaker 2: name to be you all want to have the same
- 49:40Speaker 2: last name.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Yes, I mean, but the kid. I mean once we're married,
- 49:43Speaker 3: the kid's last name automatically changed.
- 49:45Speaker 2: No it doesn't.
- 49:46Speaker 3: No, he does what I'm saying, so the kids can
- 49:48Speaker 3: keep their last name.
- 49:49Speaker 2: And she wants to have the same last name as
- 49:50Speaker 2: the kids.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Girl, I'm sorry, I love you, but you you're taking
- 49:56Speaker 3: my name.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Like well, guess what, Robin, just dun't you?
- 50:02Speaker 6: Who are slowing in the change of my art or
- 50:06Speaker 6: our kids last name as well?
- 50:08Speaker 2: Are you willing to change their names to your nice name?
- 50:11Speaker 3: The wait?
- 50:12Speaker 7: Are you murder?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Yeah? Are there gonna be three another mini poos?
- 50:16Speaker 6: More?
- 50:16Speaker 3: Of course I'm down.
- 50:17Speaker 2: And that means you're responsible for them forever always.
- 50:20Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 50:21Speaker 3: If I'm marrying you for better or for worse? Okay, yeah, nice,
- 50:26Speaker 3: but you want to change the name.
- 50:28Speaker 2: All right, there there's some compromise. Well, Robin, I'm gonna
- 50:32Speaker 2: put you on hold so you two can go out.
- 50:36Speaker 9: Six.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys, the Brady bunch, all right, can't slow
- 50:43Speaker 2: peasant about to get out here? What are you doing today?
- 50:44Speaker 4: Back to the dentists today over this?
- 50:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's going on.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Remember I told John, still have some baby teeth on
- 50:50Speaker 1: the bottom or they're like putting crowns on them.
- 50:54Speaker 4: No, just like my baby teeth on the bottom.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Yeah you agree, Yeah, fixing my grill back there today,
- 51:01Speaker 1: will hang on.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I know you still have baby teeth.
- 51:04Speaker 4: I know, I have to like molers. I don't know.
- 51:06Speaker 4: They just never like I don't know, they never came out.
- 51:09Speaker 4: They're strong teeth.
- 51:10Speaker 2: They're strong roots for you. The roots, they got roots,
- 51:15Speaker 2: They got roots.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Good to stay with me forever.
- 51:17Speaker 2: That's always fun. Going to the tennis producer? Poo? What
- 51:20Speaker 2: are you doing today?
- 51:20Speaker 3: I'm going shopping for what? I gotta give me some
- 51:24Speaker 3: fits for this weekend.
- 51:25Speaker 4: From l your festival fish.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Festival? Poo. Yeah.
- 51:31Speaker 3: And guess where I'm going shopping at?
- 51:32Speaker 2: Where are calls? Nope?
- 51:33Speaker 3: A place called 'by las?
- 51:35Speaker 2: What is that?

- 51:41Speaker 2: Oh no you're not, No you're not.
- 51:44Speaker 4: They're having a sale.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Between you and Ryder my son. I swear this kid
- 51:49Speaker 2: has been stealing all my shoes sho so I pick
- 51:53Speaker 2: them up for school on Friday, and there are a
- 51:55Speaker 2: pair of shoes that have never touched the ground. They're collectibles.
- 51:58Speaker 2: They're like, they're not supposed to be worn because I
- 52:01Speaker 2: was collecting and saving them because they were gonna be
- 52:03Speaker 2: worth money. He walks out of school wearing them styling. Yeah,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I go straight styling. Yeah, that's because we wear the
- 52:10Speaker 2: same sized shoe. Now he wears an eleven. He's fourteen.
- 52:14Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 52:14Speaker 2: What's going on? So between you?
- 52:17Speaker 10: No, and now?
- 52:18Speaker 2: I only got one kid. I can't have pood number two.

- 52:22Speaker 2: No, I'm not claiming you on my taxi. You can
- 52:25Speaker 2: What are you gonna What are you gonna do for me?
- 52:27Speaker 2: If I let you come in my closet and just

- 52:29Speaker 3: Mean we can work something out. I'll clean something. I'm
- 52:34Speaker 3: sure something's dirty.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, my feet are kind of dirty. All right, we'll
- 52:39Speaker 2: see you later. Have a great day. I don't want
- 52:41Speaker 2: Pooh touching my feet. No, we know I gave Pooh.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I said Pooh. If you want to make some extra money,
- 52:47Speaker 2: you can come clean my garage. Yeah, has he No, No,
- 52:50Speaker 2: I hadn't been over there yet. No, I don't want
- 52:51Speaker 2: to talk about how any money he's doing it today,
- 52:53Speaker 2: No he's not.
- 52:54Speaker 3: No, I can do it today. I can do it
- 52:55Speaker 3: tomorrow for sure.
- 52:57Speaker 2: See it's always tomorrow. Tomorrow. Run, that's what he does,
- 53:04Speaker 2: or he'll be like, it's too hot, Billy, Let's wait
