School Bus Hits House in Orangeburg | Charleston News
A school bus carrying around forty students veered off Shillings Bridge Road in Orangeburg County, crashing into a house early yesterday morning. Though initial reports varied on exact passenger counts, all students were checked out on scene — 18 went to the hospital for precautionary care, but were all released by 2 PM and reunited with families. The rest received quick medical checks at school. Authorities are investigating, and the district says they followed all safety protocols while cooperating fully with the probe.
