- 0:22Speaker 1: to go through. Thank you to all the groups that
- 0:24Speaker 1: allow me to share this morning Devo or in front
- 0:27Speaker 1: of your group on your group with your members. Thank
- 0:30Speaker 1: you for trusting the Word of God through this ministry.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Don't let strife dominate. That's today's Morning Devo. The title
- 0:37Speaker 1: don't let strife dominate? Hey man, don't let bitterness, anger,
- 0:43Speaker 1: right arguments, don't let those things dominate your life. For
- 0:49Speaker 1: a Christian, listen to this for a Christian. Peace, it's
- 0:53Speaker 1: not just the absence of conflict. Peace is a fruit
- 0:58Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit. Thank you daily encouragement for sharing
- 1:04Speaker 1: the Morning Devo. I see that Roman Chapter twelve, verse
- 1:07Speaker 1: number eighteen. Peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You say you're born again, right, you got the Holy
- 1:18Speaker 1: Spirit living inside of you. But let anybody tell you, oh,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know, holy Spirit is growing inside of you as
- 1:24Speaker 1: soon as you get saved, you don't have the whole
- 1:26Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. You listen, you have the whole Holy Spirit
- 1:29Speaker 1: of God that Jesus promised to deliver all those who
- 1:33Speaker 1: call upon his name.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Amen. He will live lead inside of you.
- 1:40Speaker 1: He will lead you in the right path, in the
- 1:42Speaker 1: right way, will remind you the word and the promises
- 1:44Speaker 1: over your life.
- 1:45Speaker 2: He will comfort you, he will help you. Amen.
- 1:47Speaker 1: He will protect you, he will guide you. You'll learn
- 1:51Speaker 1: more from what Holy Spirit is speaking. Amen, because Holy
- 1:54Speaker 1: Spirit is only repeating when he hears the Father what
- 1:57Speaker 1: he hears the Lord Jesus saying. And the word of
- 2:00Speaker 1: God is the will of God, which you will know,
- 2:03Speaker 1: the will of God over your life if you rely
- 2:06Speaker 1: and trust in the Holy Spirit, God and Man. We
- 2:08Speaker 1: just celebrated from the Timonis recording on Holy Ghosts Sunday
- 2:13Speaker 1: Pentecost Sunday. Amen, of course, celebrating the fact that the
- 2:18Speaker 1: Holy Spirit that was promised by the Lord Jesus, Amen,
- 2:21Speaker 1: was dispersed to the one hundred and twenty.
- 2:24Speaker 2: In the Upper Room.
- 2:25Speaker 1: According to Acts chapter one, verse eight, I believe it
- 2:27Speaker 1: is Amen, and you see it all through Acts and
- 2:30Speaker 1: the Acts chapter two is really the first time the
- 2:34Speaker 1: church steps out filled with the Holy Spirit, the body
- 2:37Speaker 1: of Christ.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Amen.
- 2:38Speaker 1: We celebrated that yesterday. From the Timonis recording, it was
- 2:42Speaker 1: called Pentecost Sunday. It's not all about our celebration of
- 2:47Speaker 1: Pentecost Sunday. It's all about what God did through his
- 2:52Speaker 1: Son and through the Holy Spirit.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Amen. We have not three guys.
- 2:56Speaker 1: We have one God, three persons, three functions of each
- 3:01Speaker 1: part of the Holy Trinity, each person of the Holy Trinity.
- 3:04Speaker 1: We have the Father who loves, the Son who says,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and Holy Spirit who guys and leads.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So we have it all according to the scriptures. Right. Amen.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Everything we need to live a righteous and godly life,
- 3:15Speaker 1: we have it. God bless you, my bro Jonathan. It's
- 3:18Speaker 1: good to see you all the morning.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Devo.
- 3:19Speaker 1: On my bro, miss you man, long time no see.
- 3:22Speaker 1: So listen, don't let strife dominate. We're to be in
- 3:25Speaker 1: Roman chapter twelve, verse number eighteen. Let's go for it, right.
- 3:29Speaker 1: We're gonna pray first. After we pray with shut us
- 3:32Speaker 1: out for like sixty seconds, so as many people that
- 3:35Speaker 1: come to our heart and mind, and you can share
- 3:37Speaker 1: it all throughout the morning, Devo.
- 3:39Speaker 2: If somebody comes to your mind, share it. Amen. Let's
- 3:44Speaker 2: not just boggle this information all for ourselves. Let's not just.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Be selfish and get all this good information from the
- 3:52Speaker 1: Lord's word just for ourselves. Let's share us out to
- 3:55Speaker 1: as many people as we can. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:59Speaker 1: pray requests, or anything along those lines, please don't hesitate
- 4:03Speaker 1: to leave it on a live chat.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That's what we're here for.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And if you're listening on the radio at souling into
- 4:08Speaker 1: with a z do org, thank you so much for listening.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I'm glad that you came through. I don't believe in coincidences.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I believe and Holy goes divine appointments, Amen. And I
- 4:19Speaker 1: believe when we read the Word of God and God
- 4:21Speaker 1: starts speaking through us and corrects our errors and really
- 4:27Speaker 1: teaches us the reason for the word, the truth of
- 4:30Speaker 1: the word, Amen, the understanding of his word, that I
- 4:33Speaker 1: believe that He's gonna move into other people's lives as well.
- 4:36Speaker 2: This is not just for us.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's for all those whosoevers who call upon the name
- 4:41Speaker 1: of the Lord. It's for all those who have an
- 4:43Speaker 1: ear to listen to the word of God. That's who
- 4:46Speaker 1: this is for. But the Frank, God bless you. Is
- 4:48Speaker 1: good to see you on the morning.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Devo. God bless you in your family as well. So
- 4:52Speaker 2: let's go for it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Let's pray, and like I said, after we pray, we
- 4:54Speaker 1: shared us out for sixty seconds, and then when we
- 4:57Speaker 1: come back we'll get into Romans chapter twelve twelve, verse
- 5:00Speaker 1: number eighteen. Ready, Father, I thank you for the blessing
- 5:04Speaker 1: that you have given us daily, Lord God, waking us up,
- 5:08Speaker 1: giving us a new start, a new life, giving us hope.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And we can trust in the living hope that lives
- 5:13Speaker 1: within us by way of Holy Spirit, because we are
- 5:16Speaker 1: the living sons of God and daughters of God. We
- 5:18Speaker 1: are the children of God. All those who put their
- 5:21Speaker 1: hearts faith trust in the Holy Spirit by.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Way of Jesus. Amen.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for allowing us to live another day,
- 5:28Speaker 1: to see another day, to have ears to listen, eyes
- 5:31Speaker 1: to see in a mouth, to speak the promises of
- 5:34Speaker 1: God over our lives and share with others. Thank you
- 5:37Speaker 1: Lord God that strife, arguments, conflicts will not dominate our
- 5:42Speaker 1: lives because we live a life of peace, and peace
- 5:46Speaker 1: that we have surpasses all understanding. And it's not that
- 5:49Speaker 1: we have the peace from this world. We have the
- 5:52Speaker 1: peace of God because we have peace with God. Thank you,
- 5:55Speaker 1: Lord God for doing that, for allowing us a passage way,
- 5:59Speaker 1: for allowing us full access to the throne room of grace,
- 6:03Speaker 1: because of your promises, because of your love, your grace,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and your mercy. I pray a hedge of protection right
- 6:08Speaker 1: now to guidegard and protect us all the days of
- 6:11Speaker 1: our lives. A hedge of protection and a powerful name
- 6:13Speaker 1: of Jesus. I dispatch ark ween angels right now to
- 6:16Speaker 1: annihilate the tactics of the enemy according to the power
- 6:19Speaker 1: and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. And I speak
- 6:23Speaker 1: life to our bodies physically, emotionally and spiritually, health to
- 6:26Speaker 1: our bodies, strength to our bones, and a powerful, loving, holy,
- 6:30Speaker 1: righteous name of Jesus. I pray it's by faith, and
- 6:32Speaker 1: all those who agree with this prayer we say, Amen,
- 6:35Speaker 1: sue that Amen, help me shad this out sixty seconds.
- 6:38Speaker 1: When we come back, we'll get right into it. I'll
- 6:40Speaker 1: be right back, amen, and amen, we're back. Thank you
- 8:03Speaker 1: so much for allowing me to speak into your life
- 8:07Speaker 1: by way of the Word of God, which is life
- 8:09Speaker 1: giving all the time.
- 8:11Speaker 2: But the Austin I see you, good morning.
- 8:12Speaker 1: But the Austin Sullivan God, bless you, good morning, welcome
- 8:15Speaker 1: back to the morn of Devo. My brother and my
- 8:16Speaker 1: friend miss you as well. It's been a long time,
- 8:19Speaker 1: long time no see. I pray peace and health and
- 8:22Speaker 1: comfort over your body physically, emotionally and spiritually right now
- 8:25Speaker 1: and powerful name of Jesus, thank you so much.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Honored to have you on the morning. Devo.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Listen, let's do this, man, Let's go to this word
- 8:35Speaker 1: coming from the word of God.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Amen.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I want to make sure we get this in our
- 8:40Speaker 1: hearts and in our minds because a lot of people
- 8:42Speaker 1: right now are angry. A lot of people are divided,
- 8:45Speaker 1: a lot of people are living in strife. A lot
- 8:47Speaker 1: of people are being dominated by their anger. But God
- 8:50Speaker 1: doesn't want that for our lives.
- 8:52Speaker 2: He wants us to live in peace.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But blessed all the peacemakers, Jesus said, but when you
- 8:56Speaker 1: speak of peace, it's not something that's orderly given a man.
- 9:02Speaker 1: If we don't receive the word of God that actually
- 9:05Speaker 1: gives us this access to this peace that's promised in
- 9:08Speaker 1: the scriptures. So we can get this peace other than
- 9:12Speaker 1: getting it through the Prince of peace. And we have
- 9:15Speaker 1: the peace that surpasses all human understanding, because the peace
- 9:20Speaker 1: that we have as children of God is the peace that.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Came from the Father by way of Lord Jesus.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And now we can be reminded by way of Holy Spirit,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and we have everything we need to live a righteous
- 9:31Speaker 1: and godly life.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Amen.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But Apostle Paul says something interesting here in the scripture
- 9:37Speaker 1: a man that we're going to see right now. He
- 9:40Speaker 1: says in Romans, chapter number twelve, verse number eighteen, says,
- 9:46Speaker 1: if that word powerful, if possible, as far as it
- 9:52Speaker 1: depends on you and me, live at peace with everyone.
- 10:00Speaker 1: If possible, live at peace, as far it depends on you,
- 10:05Speaker 1: live at peace. How many people. We're just Christians. We're
- 10:10Speaker 1: just people in your family. We're just your leaders in church,
- 10:14Speaker 1: with just your authorities in government. We're just the authorities
- 10:18Speaker 1: in your city or state. No apossible, said, if possible,
- 10:23Speaker 1: as far as it depends on you, live at peace
- 10:28Speaker 1: with everyone and man. And last time I checked, everyone
- 10:32Speaker 1: means everybody. Right, everyone means everybody. When peace is gone
- 10:41Speaker 1: and strife dominates, we're not on the right side of
- 10:46Speaker 1: the will of God. I'd say right now, Conflict, anger, arguments, division,
- 10:54Speaker 1: all of those things are not really going to benefit anyone.
- 11:00Speaker 1: It's not going to benefit you if you have bitterness
- 11:03Speaker 1: in your heart and your mind. Bitterness is like cancer
- 11:05Speaker 1: to the soul. It's not going to benefit you in
- 11:08Speaker 1: any way that's positive, any way that's good, and it's going.
- 11:11Speaker 2: To be outside of the will of goes.
- 11:13Speaker 1: According to the Possile Paul who wrote this inspired by
- 11:17Speaker 1: a Holy Spirit guy, he said, if possible, be at
- 11:20Speaker 1: peace with everyone right.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Everyone.
- 11:25Speaker 1: When peace is gone and strife dominates, that means we're
- 11:29Speaker 1: not on the right side of the will.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Of God in our lives.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Let's not let anger and bitterness and strife and conflict.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Don't let those things dominate your heart. Don't let those
- 11:42Speaker 1: things dominate your life. Don't decide and make big decisions
- 11:45Speaker 1: based on that kind of condition. The Christian and a
- 11:52Speaker 1: Christian's life. Peace is not just the absence of conflict.
- 11:57Speaker 1: It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. And it's
- 12:00Speaker 1: also a sign of God's presence right and favor in
- 12:06Speaker 1: any situation that you or I face.
- 12:10Speaker 2: When peace.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Is consistently out of your relationship, when it's always conflict, bitterness, anger, strife, right,
- 12:21Speaker 1: the environment changes like it goes from a positive to
- 12:26Speaker 1: the negative.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Amen.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Our assignment is to be people who bridge the gap
- 12:33Speaker 1: between the anger and the peace. Is supposed to be
- 12:38Speaker 1: that bridge to lead people to the Prince of peace.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But when anger, resentment, tension, confusion, conflict, Amen, when those
- 12:50Speaker 1: things are dominating your relationship, dominating your life, dominating you
- 12:55Speaker 1: at work, school, as a parent, as a son, as
- 12:58Speaker 1: a child, as a grand parent, When that dominates, it's
- 13:04Speaker 1: a sign that it might be time for you to
- 13:06Speaker 1: step away from what you're doing, step away from those individuals,
- 13:12Speaker 1: so that way you won't cause any more harm. I
- 13:14Speaker 1: won't cause any more harm. But we need to see God.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Amen.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's why Paul possible. Paul, he went through a lot
- 13:22Speaker 1: of conflict. He could have been bitter or his life.
- 13:25Speaker 1: He could have been angry at the people who were
- 13:29Speaker 1: rejecting the gospel message or his very own brothers, the
- 13:34Speaker 1: very own, the very own people that he came from
- 13:37Speaker 1: a man who were rejecting the gospel. He could have
- 13:39Speaker 1: became angry. He could have become bitter and stay that way.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But Paul says, if it is possible, as far as
- 13:46Speaker 1: it depends on, you live at peace with everyone. You
- 13:50Speaker 1: might be like Oh, man, that's that's easy. I'm a
- 13:52Speaker 1: peaceful person. You might be a peaceful person, but everyone
- 13:56Speaker 1: in this world, haven't you noticed, is not full of peace,
- 13:58Speaker 1: especially not full of peace to the peace of God.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So acknowledge that peace isn't always easy. The Bible is
- 14:07Speaker 1: so clear, The Bible is so honest. A man of
- 14:10Speaker 1: scriptures are honest. Peace isn't always possible, especially when it
- 14:16Speaker 1: doesn't depend solely on us, When it doesn't depend solely
- 14:20Speaker 1: on you or for me, even if you made every
- 14:24Speaker 1: effort to resolve conflict and to extend grace, to extend mercy,
- 14:32Speaker 1: but people are hostile, and hostility still persist sometimes, so
- 14:37Speaker 1: it might be time to walk away, not in bitterness,
- 14:41Speaker 1: but walk away in peace.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Very possible, Amen.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Sometimes you attach yourself to people who snatch your peace.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Have you ever met a person that they're always full
- 14:54Speaker 1: of bitterness? Anger, gossip, strife, division? You hang around there
- 14:59Speaker 1: around those people, but too long is going to affect
- 15:02Speaker 1: your character, is going to affect the assignment that God
- 15:05Speaker 1: has for your life at that moment, that time. A man,
- 15:08Speaker 1: sometimes you have to walk away and just have peace
- 15:11Speaker 1: in your heart, otherwise.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You're get to fall.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm going to fall into all kinds of anger, all
- 15:16Speaker 1: kind of strife, all kind of division. Amen, walk away
- 15:21Speaker 1: in peace. First Corinthians fourteen thirty three. Listen closely, for
- 15:25Speaker 1: God is not a god of disorder, but of peace,
- 15:31Speaker 1: as in all the congregations of the Lord's people, the
- 15:36Speaker 1: body of Christ.
- 15:38Speaker 2: The congregation of Christ.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Amen, should be a place where you walk in and
- 15:42Speaker 1: you feel the peace of God through the people.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You greet it.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Right, You're seen, You're acknowledged. Amen, You're honored. Right, you're welcomed.
- 15:56Speaker 1: When you walk into a house of God's supposed to
- 15:58Speaker 1: feel the peace of God.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Amen. I remember one time.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I was looking for a French church and when I
- 16:06Speaker 1: first got it, invited to my friend's church was Pentecosta
- 16:10Speaker 1: Church in Bethleem, Pennsylvania. A man not too far from
- 16:14Speaker 1: where we're broadcasting now, and literally there was a church
- 16:18Speaker 1: right next door, so I was I didn't know if
- 16:20Speaker 1: it was the church next.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Door or the other side of the door. One door
- 16:25Speaker 2: is literally like maybe two feet three feet away. A
- 16:28Speaker 2: man from the other church.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I went to the wrong door and I was not
- 16:36Speaker 1: dressed appropriate according to church rules of the first church
- 16:42Speaker 1: that I'm knocked on the door with Let's just say
- 16:44Speaker 1: that I wasn't fully dressed amn in like a shirt
- 16:48Speaker 1: and a tie or you know church clothes people color right.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I was a little bit more casual. So when I
- 16:56Speaker 1: knocked on that church door, the door person or the
- 17:01Speaker 1: great greeter, instead of saying hello, how can we help you,
- 17:06Speaker 1: the greeter looked at me up and down and say
- 17:09Speaker 1: who are you looking for?
- 17:11Speaker 2: That.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I didn't feel peace there. I felt judged. I felt uncomfortable.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I didn't feel comforted. I felt uncomfortable. So I looked
- 17:20Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, this can't be the right
- 17:22Speaker 1: church that I was invited to. So after I was
- 17:25Speaker 1: looked up and down and asked what can I help
- 17:29Speaker 1: you with?
- 17:29Speaker 2: Or what are you here for?
- 17:30Speaker 1: Basically I said, is this so and Soul's church? And
- 17:33Speaker 1: they were like, oh, no, that's next door, that's not
- 17:37Speaker 1: this church. Come to find out later on that church
- 17:41Speaker 1: side by side, this was many years ago. Hopefully God
- 17:44Speaker 1: has put them together, hopefully as God has made them
- 17:50Speaker 1: had them united by now that was years ago. And
- 17:54Speaker 1: come to find out that that church was a legalistic
- 17:57Speaker 1: church and that didn't believe and going into the House
- 18:01Speaker 1: of God dressed any other way than you know, what
- 18:05Speaker 1: they deemed proper, properly dressed, and they had strife amongst
- 18:10Speaker 1: each other. They thought the other church was acting too
- 18:13Speaker 1: worldly the church that was invited to So one church
- 18:17Speaker 1: was a free church, another church next door was a
- 18:23Speaker 1: church bound by the law of legalism, of legalism and
- 18:27Speaker 1: legalistic Amen. So that experience taught me a lesson Amen,
- 18:34Speaker 1: those people, or that at least that greeterer didn't have
- 18:37Speaker 1: peace in her heart. Ye, strife and bitterness legalistic ways.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Amen.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Legalism works in certain parts for certain people. But if
- 18:48Speaker 1: that's the way you're going to live and have your
- 18:50Speaker 1: church throughout, you know your its assistance.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Amen.
- 18:55Speaker 1: It doesn't really have that peace, doesn't have that heart
- 18:57Speaker 1: that God wants you to express to other people. That
- 19:00Speaker 1: could have hurt me. I was young in the Lord,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but not that young, so it could have hurt me.
- 19:05Speaker 1: It could have gave me church hurt. I could have
- 19:07Speaker 1: just walked away and not asked any questions.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Amen.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And then I would have let strife dominate my life.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I would have let bitterness dominate my life. I would
- 19:18Speaker 1: have let anger and church hurt dominate my life. So
- 19:21Speaker 1: God is speaking to us, said, don't let those things
- 19:23Speaker 1: dominate your life. Let the peace of God. And if
- 19:27Speaker 1: you see my response mattered at that moment. I could
- 19:31Speaker 1: have went off on a lady and be like, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you're judging me, How could you do that?
- 19:35Speaker 2: Blah blah blah. I just you know what.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I walked away in peace. I said, well, this is
- 19:39Speaker 1: obviously not the right church. Thank you for letting me
- 19:42Speaker 1: know I knocked on the wrong door, because if that
- 19:46Speaker 1: was the right church that I was invited to, then
- 19:48Speaker 1: me and my brother in Christ at the time would
- 19:51Speaker 1: have had to talk this out.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Amen.
- 19:54Speaker 1: He had, he would have had to explain to me
- 19:56Speaker 1: why would he put me in such a situation, knowing
- 19:58Speaker 1: the way I was at the time, time, how I
- 20:00Speaker 1: address at the time. Amen, So thank you Jesus, for
- 20:05Speaker 1: God is not a god of disorder, but a God
- 20:07Speaker 1: of peace. God's presence brings order in peace. How made
- 20:13Speaker 1: you notice that when the presence of the Lord is
- 20:16Speaker 1: in the building, in the house, Amen, peace and order
- 20:21Speaker 1: shows up.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Right. Some people live in chronic chaos. Some people can't
- 20:26Speaker 2: live without chaos. Some people have to have chaos.
- 20:29Speaker 1: They're confused, Amen, they have constant tension. Right, that might
- 20:36Speaker 1: be an indicator that God is no longer calling you
- 20:41Speaker 1: to remain in that situation because chaos breeds anger and bitterness.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Bitterness breeds health problems.
- 20:51Speaker 1: If you walk around bitter, you could actually get sick
- 20:54Speaker 1: to your body. So something that you might be thinking,
- 20:57Speaker 1: oh men, those people hurt me, those that church did this,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and that pastor did this, and this person did that. Amen,
- 21:04Speaker 1: you're focusing on those things. You're letting those things dominate.
- 21:08Speaker 1: That's gonna hurt you more than it's gonna hurt the
- 21:10Speaker 1: people that might have hurt you legitimately.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Right, So respectfully, I would say, listen, walk in peace,
- 21:15Speaker 2: Walk away in peace. Amen. Don't let strife dominate your life. Amen.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Don't let bitterness, confusion, anger, chaos be your life.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Amen.
- 21:28Speaker 1: God has way more in store for you and for me,
- 21:32Speaker 1: And it has to do a peace, His peace that
- 21:35Speaker 1: surpasses all understanding. His peace, not the peace that this
- 21:39Speaker 1: world offers, because you know, the world system offers you
- 21:42Speaker 1: their kind of peace. But that piece is basically circumstantial peace.
- 21:47Speaker 1: It's based on you know, how people treat you. It's
- 21:50Speaker 1: based on if there's food in the fridge, is based
- 21:53Speaker 1: on if you have money in your bank account. It's
- 21:55Speaker 1: based on if you're in the in crowd, right, then
- 21:58Speaker 1: you have the peace that they'll world offers, which is
- 22:01Speaker 1: very very limited. But the peace that the Lord offers
- 22:05Speaker 1: a man is unlimited peace not bound by any law,
- 22:10Speaker 1: legalistic way, or anything like that. The peace of God
- 22:13Speaker 1: is because we have peace with God. And now we
- 22:17Speaker 1: have the peace of God. If you don't have peace
- 22:19Speaker 1: with God, and how do you have peace with God,
- 22:21Speaker 1: how do you have peace with the Father, Well, you
- 22:23Speaker 1: have to go.
- 22:23Speaker 2: To the Sun.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Right In the Book of John, Jesus said, no one
- 22:29Speaker 1: comes to the Father except through me by because he
- 22:32Speaker 1: is the Way, He's the truth and the life. And
- 22:35Speaker 1: that means everything that God offers a man, you will
- 22:40Speaker 1: never find out the application of it unless you go
- 22:43Speaker 1: to the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what Jesus said in
- 22:45Speaker 1: John I Think fourteen and six, Matthew ten thirteen Versus
- 22:52Speaker 1: Matthew Chapter ten, Verses thirteen and fourteen. Jesus said, if
- 22:56Speaker 1: the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: If it's not, let your peace return to you. And
- 23:06Speaker 1: it goes perfectly where possible. He said, as long as
- 23:11Speaker 1: it's you, it's it depends on you, the one who
- 23:14Speaker 1: brings the peace.
- 23:16Speaker 2: If the house or the place that.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You're at doesn't want your peace, return it back to yourself.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Shake the dust off your feet when you leave that
- 23:27Speaker 1: home or town. Right Jesus, the Lord, Our Lord, our Savior.
- 23:33Speaker 2: It's giving us.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Permission to move on when peace is not received. If
- 23:41Speaker 1: the peace that I offer you a man, you don't
- 23:44Speaker 1: receive it, thee what I'm gonna do? Force you to
- 23:47Speaker 1: receive the peace of God. What are you going to
- 23:49Speaker 1: do when you go to somebody with the peace of God,
- 23:52Speaker 1: the gospel message of the Lord, and they don't want
- 23:54Speaker 1: to receive, Are you going to try to force that
- 23:56Speaker 1: peace upon them? No, it's impossible, doesn't even make sense.
- 23:59Speaker 1: The Lord Jesus our Savior, Amen, is giving us permission
- 24:04Speaker 1: to move on when peace is not received.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Right, So you're not obligated, Thank you, Lord. I'm not obligated.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You're not obligated to stay where your presence or your
- 24:18Speaker 1: calling is constantly rejected.
- 24:22Speaker 2: That's a word right there.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Why why they're rejecting the call over your life, in
- 24:28Speaker 1: your life, if it's benefiting the Body of Christ, Why
- 24:31Speaker 1: are they treating you certain ways?
- 24:33Speaker 2: Amen? Think about it. It could be well two things.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You're being rejected or you're being resisted because of some
- 24:43Speaker 1: things that you have to work out and they're trying
- 24:46Speaker 1: to help you through, or they don't they don't agree
- 24:51Speaker 1: with the calling of God over your life, which is weird, right,
- 24:54Speaker 1: God gave you a call, God gave me a call.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Amen. We should be supported.
- 24:58Speaker 1: And live and be able to share that calling with
- 25:04Speaker 1: others in your congregation, others in your community, others in life.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So it should be supported, now rejected. So there's certain things,
- 25:14Speaker 1: certain ways that you could know that your peace or
- 25:18Speaker 1: the peace is gone out of your life and other
- 25:21Speaker 1: out of others. If you have constant arguments, not arguments,
- 25:25Speaker 1: constant arguments, Amen, were all going to argue here and there.
- 25:28Speaker 1: But if you have constant arguments, criticism, or division, that's
- 25:31Speaker 1: a sign that peace may be gone. Mental and emotional
- 25:37Speaker 1: exhaustion from ongoing strife a sign that peace may be gone.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Repeated efforts to be the one that's reconciling with others, Amen,
- 25:46Speaker 1: or solve problems, they're all ignored. That could be a
- 25:50Speaker 1: sign of peace being gone. You no longer feel God's
- 25:53Speaker 1: presence or confirmation to state. That might be evidence that
- 25:58Speaker 1: the peace is gone but this amount of time. Hopefully
- 26:02Speaker 1: this challenged your way of thinking. We were in Romans
- 26:05Speaker 1: chapter twelve. Read the whole chapter. We camped down in
- 26:07Speaker 1: verse number eighteen. That's where we started. Heymen, don't let
- 26:11Speaker 1: strife dominate your life. God bless you all, God keep
- 26:15Speaker 1: you all, and remember always that God is good.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Peace
