- 1:26Speaker 2: you to a new week and a new year here
- 1:29Speaker 2: on WRTR Real Talk Radio.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Absolutely on this lyric.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Here we go again another year, a new other year,
- 1:39Speaker 2: twenty twenty five, twenty five.
- 1:42Speaker 3: What are we gonna do?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Be successful and grown into the bank.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I want to feel that way. I do. I do.
- 1:55Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 1:57Speaker 2: But outside of our usual format this week, we wanted
- 2:01Speaker 2: to do our holiday special because, you know, in the
- 2:04Speaker 2: midst of chaos and everything, the hustle and bustle of the.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Holidays, things behind it, we didn't.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Know holiday specials, so we kind of just wanted to
- 2:12Speaker 2: step outside.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Our normal format, just chat, just say hey, so have
- 2:18Speaker 3: some fun. Yeah, yeah, of course. But first we'll start
- 2:23Speaker 3: the show off.
- 2:23Speaker 2: We will do a little structure, So we'll start off
- 2:26Speaker 2: with when I grow Up, because I feel like this.
- 2:28Speaker 3: You know, that.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Segment pays homage to those in the black community that
- 2:33Speaker 2: have done or are doing great things. So miss a Lyric,
- 2:37Speaker 2: why don't you kick off twenty twenty five with this.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Sure thing? Sure thing? All right? So for my when
- 2:47Speaker 1: I grow up, I want to be like Terry Michelle Bradley.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You don't know who that is, I will explain. She
- 2:57Speaker 1: is a founder and creator of Brown Toy Box, which
- 3:01Speaker 1: is a stem kit box created and cultured for black
- 3:07Speaker 1: children to enjoy, learn and have fun. This was, let's
- 3:14Speaker 1: see created and started off in twenty seventeen and now
- 3:22Speaker 1: she is working with Fortune five hundred companies and campaigns
- 3:27Speaker 1: designed to connect with the African American community. Her products
- 3:32Speaker 1: are now on Amazon and in our favorite store, tar Ja.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Wow, this Target is getting up there.
- 3:42Speaker 2: They are really getting up there as far as like
- 3:45Speaker 2: you know, their notoriety. I mean not that Target has
- 3:48Speaker 2: ever been behind, but where Walmart has fallen off.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Target has definitely taken a torture. Ran so got out.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I love to see it. I want to read their
- 3:57Speaker 1: mission statement really quick and off. Their mission statement is
- 4:02Speaker 1: we aim to create innovative choice and entertainment that cultivate curiosity,
- 4:08Speaker 1: spark joy, and celebrate culture. I love it, so do you?
- 4:14Speaker 3: I all right?
- 4:15Speaker 2: So when I grow up, I want to be like
- 4:17Speaker 2: one of these three autistic black women in Atlanta. Aliyah
- 4:21Speaker 2: Alicia Thompson and her twin sisters a Nija and Anaya
- 4:26Speaker 2: Bird their barrier with their natural hair salon and beauty school.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It's called Aliyah Beauty Bar, so specializing in locks and
- 4:36Speaker 2: natural hair techniques. The salon also empowers individuals with autism
- 4:41Speaker 2: by offering hairstyling training and five scholarships. So according to
- 4:46Speaker 2: Black Enterprise, their success showcases the creativity and potential of
- 4:50Speaker 2: the autism community, inspiring.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Others to pursue their dreams.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And this kind of hit home with me because I
- 4:56Speaker 2: remember when, like one of my earliest childhood memory is
- 5:02Speaker 2: being on a playground, right, I'm there at school and everything.
- 5:06Speaker 2: This was like god to be like eat pre kindergarten.
- 5:10Speaker 2: But I remembered when I went, I didn't look like
- 5:14Speaker 2: any of or many of the other kids there. And
- 5:17Speaker 2: the only other little black kid was you know, he
- 5:21Speaker 2: had autism or actually I think he.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Had down syndrome, but I remember him. His name is Cedric.
- 5:27Speaker 3: And I remember all.
- 5:29Speaker 2: The girls and all the guys and like nobody would
- 5:32Speaker 2: play with him. But you know, I was just that person.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I'm just like, well why not, you know, we're just
- 5:38Speaker 2: playing and this that and the third and all the
- 5:39Speaker 2: kids would run from and fatism and stuff, and I
- 5:42Speaker 2: was just never that person. So I believe that a
- 5:47Speaker 2: lot of people with autism, a lot of people with
- 5:51Speaker 2: you know, other learning disabilities and complications and hurdles. They
- 5:55Speaker 2: are often placed into this bucket of people that we've
- 5:59Speaker 2: been being lesser than or inferior to us, or you
- 6:06Speaker 2: know the rest of society. And it's just like, are
- 6:11Speaker 2: are they really or are we just giving them that
- 6:14Speaker 2: impression you know what I'm saying, or are we giving
- 6:16Speaker 2: them that kind of label? So shout outs to them,
- 6:21Speaker 2: showing people in the face of all other kinds of
- 6:25Speaker 2: adversity that for our baces and no matter what they do,
- 6:32Speaker 2: especially people, so up when we come back the rest
- 6:36Speaker 2: of the show, We'll be right.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Back, y'all.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Remember when Kanye got up on stage and said Beyonce
- 6:40Speaker 5: they had the greatest album and he couldn't quite figure
- 6:43Speaker 5: out why Taylor Swift was getting an award. Well, I
- 6:45Speaker 5: agree with that sentiment back then, but I agree with
- 6:48Speaker 5: it more now than ever.
- 6:50Speaker 4: And this is really no shade to Taylor.
- 6:52Speaker 5: This is all a system that was created long before
- 6:54Speaker 5: she ever got here. Now, I'm not a part of
- 6:56Speaker 5: the Beehive. You won't see me posted anything else about Beyonce,
- 7:00Speaker 5: But when I see something I feel like I have
- 7:04Speaker 5: to say something, and in this moment, I can understand
- 7:07Speaker 5: why Kanye got up on that stage that day. Yonce
- 7:10Speaker 5: has won more Grammys than any other artist, but she's
- 7:13Speaker 5: never one Album of the Year. She has the top
- 7:15Speaker 5: selling country album right now, but the cmais wouldn't even
- 7:18Speaker 5: give her a nomination. Beyonce is one of the greatest
- 7:21Speaker 5: examples of a black person having to work ten times
- 7:24Speaker 5: harder to get what a white person.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Is just given for being white.
- 7:29Speaker 5: If Taylor Swift were black, would she be as famous
- 7:33Speaker 5: as she is?
- 7:34Speaker 4: If Justin Bieber were black. Hell, if em and m
- 7:37Speaker 4: were black.
- 7:38Speaker 5: How much harder would these people have had to work
- 7:41Speaker 5: if they were black to get the same accolades they
- 7:44Speaker 5: are given because they're white.
- 7:46Speaker 4: And this ain't nothing new, It's a constant thing.
- 7:50Speaker 5: You have people like Chuck Berry and Little Richerd who
- 7:53Speaker 5: are the creators of the rock and roll sound. But
- 7:57Speaker 5: yet the king of rock and roll is a white
- 7:59Speaker 5: man name Elvis Presley.
- 8:02Speaker 4: What made him so great? Was he the greatest entertainer? No,
- 8:06Speaker 4: he was white.
- 8:08Speaker 5: When white people do things that black people innately do,
- 8:13Speaker 5: it's considered great. For example, it's like when a white
- 8:16Speaker 5: person can dance.
- 8:17Speaker 4: People all up in arms.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Oh my god, this white person can dance like a
- 8:21Speaker 5: black person. Do you hear yourselves giving them credit for
- 8:25Speaker 5: doing something that black kids everywhere can do. It's a
- 8:28Speaker 5: black person out here that can outdance them all day.
- 8:31Speaker 5: But because they can do a little bit of dancing,
- 8:34Speaker 5: you must all get together and make them feel special.
- 8:37Speaker 5: It's the same thing with Caitlyn Clark. She can shoot
- 8:40Speaker 5: date threes, She's amazing. But there are black women who've
- 8:43Speaker 5: been on the court forever doing the same thing innately.
- 8:48Speaker 5: But guess what, they're black, so they're not going to
- 8:51Speaker 5: get the same accolades and credit that a white woman
- 8:55Speaker 5: would get. Who is just doing with black women have
- 9:00Speaker 5: been doing. But when she said there's a white privilege
- 9:03Speaker 5: to the game, there is. She is definitely benefiting from
- 9:08Speaker 5: her whiteness because if she were black, you wouldn't care.
- 9:11Speaker 5: When I see people trying to downplay who Beyonce is
- 9:15Speaker 5: but trying to tell me how great Taylor Swift is,
- 9:21Speaker 5: stop it. I have literally watched in the year of
- 9:23Speaker 5: twenty twenty four two black women who are overachievers get
- 9:29Speaker 5: pushed to the back of the line, all because they're
- 9:33Speaker 5: black women.
- 9:35Speaker 4: And that is Beyonce and Kamala Harris.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Two women who have worked hard to get where they are,
- 9:43Speaker 5: and for people who do not look like.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Us to try to tell us.
- 9:48Speaker 5: That somebody who is mediocre at best is better than them.
- 10:00Speaker 1: It's real job.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I U rgr Real talk Radio.
- 10:05Speaker 3: We keep it real. This lyric that Holliday, Happy Holidays
- 10:11Speaker 3: to you too. I said, how were they? Was that bad?
- 10:18Speaker 1: How they was quiet? I'm getting over cold, so I've
- 10:23Speaker 1: been down since New Year's Eve, But today I feel
- 10:27Speaker 1: much better because I loaded myself up with medicine and
- 10:32Speaker 1: they breub it all sorts of vitamins and stuff. So
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm feeling much better today.
- 10:40Speaker 3: And you got the Johnny jobs.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, unfortunately. And it's so weird because I really haven't
- 10:46Speaker 1: caught like a real bad, bad cold since COVID.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Actually right, and you know what's back? Yeah it is,
- 10:54Speaker 3: it is. And with twenty twenty five here you got
- 10:57Speaker 3: like I guess.
- 10:58Speaker 2: The the magas and just people in general.
- 11:03Speaker 3: They feel very empowered.
- 11:05Speaker 2: And I don't know why, because if COVID taught us nothing,
- 11:08Speaker 2: it's to cover your mouth, use.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Me in sanitize.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I have seen so many people open mouthedly cough.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and just either their hands or just any of that.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It's been just oh my god.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And okay, So for those of y'all that know me
- 11:29Speaker 2: on a personal level, my mother over the holidays, she
- 11:35Speaker 2: suffered her third heart attack.
- 11:40Speaker 3: It was tough. It was actually during her heart appointment.
- 11:46Speaker 3: So she goes to the doctor.
- 11:48Speaker 2: She goes to the cardiologist to find out like where
- 11:51Speaker 2: the blockage was because she was having problems of breathing.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I had visited her and I made you know, I
- 11:57Speaker 2: told her, I said appointment now, So she made themppointment.
- 12:00Speaker 2: She went to the doctor and while she was there
- 12:05Speaker 2: she had the heart attack. So I guess, you know,
- 12:08Speaker 2: if we're looking at balance, if it were going, if
- 12:10Speaker 2: it was going to happen, I would have much rather
- 12:13Speaker 2: it been there than anywhere else, right, So but I
- 12:19Speaker 2: said that to say that when I was at the
- 12:20Speaker 2: hospital visiting her, I saw so much just people. Just
- 12:27Speaker 2: there's hand sanitizer boosts right there, and people will cough
- 12:30Speaker 2: into their hands and then touch surfaces.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Sure will. Oh my god.
- 12:39Speaker 2: But the highlight of my twenty twenty four holiday, what's
- 12:44Speaker 2: seeing you and ticket man again?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't get to see For those of y'all
- 12:50Speaker 2: that don't know, we don't get to see one another
- 12:53Speaker 2: as often as we did before, like when we were
- 12:55Speaker 2: going to a studio every week and seeing one another.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Like now everything is over.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Zoom, and although we talk, there's still like you're still
- 13:04Speaker 2: not really in one another's lives.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I'm still in Baltimore, y'all are still in DC.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Like you know, even though we're neck connect like we
- 13:13Speaker 2: keep one another involved, but we're not really involved.
- 13:17Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Everything yeah, after the fact.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But there's nothing like being in person and seeing somebody
- 13:23Speaker 1: in person and feeling your energy in person.
- 13:27Speaker 3: It's just felt like we were connected. We were connected.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Of course.
- 13:32Speaker 3: It did.
- 13:34Speaker 1: We gotta do that more often.
- 13:36Speaker 3: We do. But you know what I did notice here's
- 13:39Speaker 3: the part that annoyed me. So did you notice when
- 13:44Speaker 3: you me and uh taking man, we're talking a lady
- 13:48Speaker 3: that was sitting next to you.
- 13:50Speaker 2: So we're sitting at a bar, I'm in the middle,
- 13:52Speaker 2: Tony's on one side, Lyrics on the other. So of course,
- 13:58Speaker 2: ever you know, take a man and facing me on
- 14:00Speaker 2: one Eric's facing men you like, we're all kind of
- 14:02Speaker 2: in our circle. So as you're talking and telling me
- 14:05Speaker 2: about whatever situation.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I think we were reminiscent about old time, but we
- 14:10Speaker 2: were talking about niggas anyways. The what irritates me even
- 14:16Speaker 2: more is when people will hear your conversation ear hustling
- 14:22Speaker 2: and then kind of involve themselves in it.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Did you notice that from the lady I did, Like
- 14:29Speaker 3: every time that.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I would say something or I was, you know, talking
- 14:32Speaker 2: about whatever situation I was dealing with at the time,
- 14:35Speaker 2: Like she's sitting there rubbing and rolling her neck and
- 14:38Speaker 2: you know, like bobbing back.
- 14:39Speaker 3: And forth and doing the little gestures with.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Their hands where to clap small this, like why do
- 14:44Speaker 2: y'all have to trade women?
- 14:46Speaker 3: Why do y'all do that? When you see gay men
- 14:49Speaker 3: like I get it.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Solidarity, yeah us. You know you're not here to kill
- 14:53Speaker 2: us like the rest of America. And that's great. I
- 14:56Speaker 2: love it, But by every time I gay person is
- 15:01Speaker 2: openly gay around you, or at least comfortable around you,
- 15:04Speaker 2: to like, why do y'all have to what's with the animation?
- 15:08Speaker 3: What is that?
- 15:09Speaker 2: I know you don't do it, Larry, but I don't
- 15:13Speaker 2: understand that. And then to interject herself into the conversation.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It just made it uncomfortable.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Listen, I understand That's why I ignore people I'm used to.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It seems like every time I go out, and it's
- 15:30Speaker 1: with certain people, Like have you noticed when we go
- 15:32Speaker 1: out the craziest things always happen?
- 15:35Speaker 3: What is that?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Sometimes it's because of our energy. People are attracted to
- 15:40Speaker 1: our to our light, to our energy, and so random
- 15:45Speaker 1: people be doing the most randommest things every time we
- 15:47Speaker 1: go out. It don't matter what time of the day
- 15:50Speaker 1: it is, It don't matter what the events about, It
- 15:53Speaker 1: does not matter. Just people just be doing random stuff
- 15:55Speaker 1: like they want to be seen. So I just to
- 16:00Speaker 1: ignore people, to be honest with you, because if I
- 16:03Speaker 1: sat there and went back and forth with every freaking
- 16:08Speaker 1: person that did that, I would lose my ship.
- 16:11Speaker 2: But you know what, that is a testament of my
- 16:15Speaker 2: growth because had this been ten years ago and that
- 16:18Speaker 2: had happened, how much differently would I've responded?
- 16:21Speaker 3: Because you notice this time I said I didn't.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Grow yeah, And and you said something, but you said
- 16:36Speaker 1: it in like a playful, like respectful manner. You know, Oh,
- 16:40Speaker 1: they don't know that we know that you're being nosy,
- 16:42Speaker 1: but you know, you need to lack a little bit.
- 16:45Speaker 2: So, but it was just weird because her nigga was
- 16:50Speaker 2: like really uncomfortable, Like you could tell that he was
- 16:52Speaker 2: uncomfortable with the conversation because I was talking about a dude.
- 16:56Speaker 3: So if you like, you've now not only yourself, you've
- 17:02Speaker 3: invited yourself into my conversation. You shouldn't even be there.
- 17:05Speaker 3: But then you brought a plus one, like, girl, what
- 17:07Speaker 3: what are you doing? What?
- 17:09Speaker 1: It was more ambarrassed that she was all involved in
- 17:13Speaker 1: our conversation and not what they had going on because
- 17:17Speaker 1: you out on a date or or maybe that was
- 17:19Speaker 1: your husband, I don't know, because I wasn't involved in
- 17:22Speaker 1: your business. You out with a whole person. Instead of
- 17:27Speaker 1: paying attention to what they got going on and interacting
- 17:31Speaker 1: with them, you worried about what we got going on.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So it really was all right. So let's see, let's
- 17:42Speaker 2: look at some of these questions.
- 17:43Speaker 3: So how have your views changed about the world?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Okay, so we've been doing this podcast twelve years? Mm hmm,
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm about to go into our thirteenth year. How well
- 17:57Speaker 2: I am I think you've been what?
- 17:58Speaker 3: What?
- 17:59Speaker 6: Uh?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:01Speaker 3: What's about it? Yeah?
- 18:03Speaker 2: Just about Yeah, how have your views about the world
- 18:06Speaker 2: changed since we started doing the show?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Do you think it's fifty to fifty? Honestly?
- 18:15Speaker 3: Why?
- 18:18Speaker 1: First? Politics? The government going government, Like there's there's gonna
- 18:24Speaker 1: always be something that I'm just satisfied with. So and
- 18:29Speaker 1: that's on both sides. I just wish that people weren't
- 18:39Speaker 1: so evil to each other, you know, because now I'm
- 18:44Speaker 1: starting to see all these mass killings and stuff like this,
- 18:47Speaker 1: And like, my whole thing is, if you're that unhappy
- 18:51Speaker 1: with yourself, work on you or take your own self up.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Why you gotta go out just like what happened on
- 18:57Speaker 1: New Year's Eve and New Orleans. Why you gotta go
- 19:00Speaker 1: out and drive through crowds of people like they just
- 19:02Speaker 1: trying to live. They not like hurting anybody, They trying
- 19:06Speaker 1: to party their way into the New year. Why you
- 19:10Speaker 1: got to go out and drive through people and kill
- 19:13Speaker 1: them for what? For what reason? Because you're unhappy, because
- 19:17Speaker 1: you're miserable with life, or because you've got something going
- 19:19Speaker 1: on mentally, or you haven't dealt with whatever trauma that
- 19:23Speaker 1: you have in your life, Like, why you gotta do
- 19:26Speaker 1: all of that? I just I'm sick of that. Type
- 19:30Speaker 1: of stuff. I'm sick of people who are miserable with
- 19:34Speaker 1: life or going through stuff, walking walking into school, shooting
- 19:38Speaker 1: innocent people, killing children, killing teachers. I'm sick of that
- 19:43Speaker 1: type of shit, PRU. And it seems to me like
- 19:49Speaker 1: it's getting worse.
- 19:52Speaker 3: It is, It certainly is.
- 19:54Speaker 1: And I don't know. I just wish that people would
- 19:58Speaker 1: like really take their mental health seriously. That's what's really
- 20:04Speaker 1: been on my mind these past couple of years. The
- 20:08Speaker 1: lack of seriousness that people have for their own mental health.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Why people won't go get therapy, and why is this
- 20:16Speaker 1: such like a taboo thing.
- 20:17Speaker 3: To do.
- 20:19Speaker 1: To work on your trauma so you're not out here
- 20:22Speaker 1: like crashing out and ruining other people's lives, Like.
- 20:28Speaker 2: For a lot of think for the people they you know,
- 20:31Speaker 2: I'm sorry, go ahead, finish, I'm done. I'm just thinking,
- 20:36Speaker 2: like for a lot of people, when you talk about
- 20:39Speaker 2: the stigma of health and mental health rather you know,
- 20:44Speaker 2: first thing, I mean, it's like alcoholism. The first thing
- 20:46Speaker 2: is admitting that you have a problem, and that is
- 20:49Speaker 2: where the buck stops for a lot of people, because
- 20:53Speaker 2: none of us want to admit.
- 20:55Speaker 3: That we don't know everything.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Like you look at the political landscape and just the
- 21:01Speaker 2: world in general. Hell, you can look at traffic and
- 21:04Speaker 2: see that. Like, for example, I posted this video on
- 21:07Speaker 2: TikTok the other day after being behind somebody. I'm going
- 21:12Speaker 2: sixty miles per hour, they're going fifty five.
- 21:14Speaker 3: They're in front of me. Two lane highway.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I had somebody to the left of me, So as
- 21:19Speaker 2: soon as that person on the left of me sped
- 21:21Speaker 2: up enough for me to be able to switch lanes,
- 21:24Speaker 2: I did so to maneuver around the person that was,
- 21:27Speaker 2: you know, in front of me, because I'm clearly going faster.
- 21:31Speaker 2: So this person sees me trying to go ahead of
- 21:35Speaker 2: them and then speeds up after the fact.
- 21:38Speaker 3: So that let me know then that the issue isn't that.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It's like people have.
- 21:47Speaker 2: This fear of being lesser than someone else or feeling
- 21:53Speaker 2: lesser than someone else.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Now, me going around you got nothing to do with you.
- 21:57Speaker 2: But because you didn't want me to get in front
- 21:59Speaker 2: of you for whatever reason, we're not even going to
- 22:01Speaker 2: the same place right for whatever reason, you just felt
- 22:06Speaker 2: the need to get in front for what. And a
- 22:09Speaker 2: lot of people have these kinds of views and they
- 22:13Speaker 2: take them and it creates or that doesn't create, but
- 22:19Speaker 2: it's a result of this kind of just weird stigma
- 22:24Speaker 2: around getting mental health therapy.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Around just moving different. I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 2: In the past twelve years of doing this podcast, I've
- 22:35Speaker 2: seen so many things. But I started just to have
- 22:39Speaker 2: a just a chat session with my friends.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Every week. We go down, like that's our drinks and
- 22:48Speaker 3: you know, key key time. And that's how it started.
- 22:52Speaker 2: And then you know, it became a little bit more popular,
- 22:55Speaker 2: and some of the things that we would say, we
- 22:56Speaker 2: would you know, make jokes or you know, dark humor
- 22:59Speaker 2: and things of that nature. And as I got older,
- 23:03Speaker 2: as the podcast got older, as it evolved more is
- 23:06Speaker 2: the more people that were around it, I started finding
- 23:10Speaker 2: myself in different circles of people, you know, and it
- 23:15Speaker 2: would just be all kinds of walks of life. Because
- 23:18Speaker 2: I started off from ground level, just working on the podcast,
- 23:23Speaker 2: trying to get a name, you know, just trying to
- 23:26Speaker 2: make an income. Honestly, I wasn't trying to We're not trying.
- 23:29Speaker 3: To be famous. We just want, you know, something cool
- 23:32Speaker 3: to do with friends. YadA, YadA, YadA. That's how it started.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Right then we went on further and found ourselves in
- 23:39Speaker 2: bigger rooms, I was invited to Congressional Caucus and like
- 23:44Speaker 2: just different things that we've done.
- 23:48Speaker 3: But then I.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Noticed the impact that we were making, like with independent
- 23:53Speaker 2: artists and stuff, we were able to do that. Now
- 23:57Speaker 2: it serves more so informational. A lot of the people
- 24:00Speaker 2: that listen now are listeners there have been listeners for
- 24:04Speaker 2: a very long time, so they come to us to
- 24:08Speaker 2: kind of kind of get the balance out of everything
- 24:12Speaker 2: that like it's this big headline, ooh, what's this about?
- 24:14Speaker 2: And like, I think one of the things that's appreciated
- 24:17Speaker 2: about us is the fact that now we dissected a
- 24:20Speaker 2: little bit more than we did maybe twelve years ago. Yeah,
- 24:26Speaker 2: we look at it from more of a mature lens,
- 24:29Speaker 2: and you know, just seeing things like, oh we miss
- 24:35Speaker 2: it's trial and error.
- 24:36Speaker 3: I got into that whole.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Thing with the eat and the dogs and the cats
- 24:40Speaker 2: and the memes and the fun because it was so
- 24:42Speaker 2: hilarious and ridiculous.
- 24:45Speaker 3: But to me now flashed forward, it's.
- 24:47Speaker 2: January fourth at our time, recording January fourth, twenty twenty five,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and to now see that those kinds of things, because
- 24:57Speaker 2: we made those tropes so popular, the the other side
- 25:02Speaker 2: went and took that and turned it around into like
- 25:07Speaker 2: and made people think that people were actually doing this,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and it influenced votes, like you had people you had
- 25:14Speaker 2: figureheads like Roseanne for and you know, like, ain't no
- 25:18Speaker 2: figure heads for us, Let's be real, But I'm talking
- 25:20Speaker 2: about like figureheads for the other side saying things like yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 2: they're eating dogs, they're vampires, this, that and.
- 25:29Speaker 3: The third and telling people and people believed it. So
- 25:34Speaker 3: I guess in the past twelve years, I've.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Learned to be a little bit more tempered with the
- 25:42Speaker 2: content and the things that we say and the information
- 25:45Speaker 2: that we put out to you know, just kind of
- 25:48Speaker 2: you know, we ain't got to be expert. Shit, ain't
- 25:50Speaker 2: nobody trying to be no expert. But we can have
- 25:53Speaker 2: an opinion. We can say what it is that we
- 25:56Speaker 2: want to say that. You know, we're not dangering people.
- 26:00Speaker 2: We're just dissecting the information as we see in our
- 26:04Speaker 2: own lands.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so what do you think this year has taught you?
- 26:15Speaker 3: I'm sorry last year, Let's see what did I write?
- 26:25Speaker 1: Because I wrote, like a whole spill on my Facebook,
- 26:29Speaker 1: very serious Facebook.
- 26:33Speaker 3: You spoke on Facebook.
- 26:34Speaker 1: This is ethic, But I told you I think I'm
- 26:37Speaker 1: shadow band on Facebook because nobody, like nobody liked it
- 26:41Speaker 1: or anything. So I don't think anybody even seen it. Wow.
- 26:44Speaker 2: We Well, you know, I've kicked the metal platform altogether.
- 26:48Speaker 2: So Instagram, Facebook for those of y'all to follow.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Threads, I'm not doing it anymore. Uh.
- 26:56Speaker 2: You know it came out that Zuckerbird gave a million
- 27:00Speaker 2: and something dollars to Donald Trump in pursuit of this presidency.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Wow.
- 27:05Speaker 2: So as a content creator, yeah, it was a great check. Yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 2: it got me a lot of outreach and a lot
- 27:12Speaker 2: of y'all know me through Facebook. But to consistently get
- 27:17Speaker 2: on this podcast and talk about how much damage these
- 27:21Speaker 2: kinds of things do to me, and then to turn
- 27:23Speaker 2: around and put my energy into promoting a platform to
- 27:27Speaker 2: the turnaround and try to shoot me in my back like, no,
- 27:31Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not doing it anymore. It's morally like
- 27:35Speaker 2: I can't. I can't do that and say you know
- 27:38Speaker 2: that I stand with us, like those things are not
- 27:41Speaker 2: conducive for me. So I'm sorry, But go ahead, what's
- 27:46Speaker 2: your post?
- 27:46Speaker 3: Say what? Twenty fourth? Twenty fourth?
- 27:50Speaker 1: I said twenty twenty three was the year of sacrifice?
- 27:53Speaker 3: Said twenty twenty three, oh thirty.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Three was the year of sacrifice. Twenty twenty four was
- 27:58Speaker 1: the year of truth. I said that even before the
- 28:03Speaker 1: Kat Williams thing came out.
- 28:06Speaker 3: So it's another one coming out.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I heard, I heard, and he dealt and he
- 28:13Speaker 1: and he drops more names and I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 28:17Speaker 1: what what in the world. But twenty twenty four really
- 28:21Speaker 1: was the year of truth, like not even more so
- 28:24Speaker 1: in the media, like in personal life and being true
- 28:27Speaker 1: to yourself and your intentions and your goals. That's what
- 28:33Speaker 1: it was for me. Twenty twenty four for me was
- 28:38Speaker 1: being true to myself as far as not limiting myself
- 28:42Speaker 1: and what I can do and really stepping out on
- 28:45Speaker 1: faith and starting back school.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I didn't know modulations. Again.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I was like really in my own way and thinking like,
- 28:59Speaker 1: oh it's too late, Oh I can't do it, just
- 29:05Speaker 1: feeling I had a different ranges of emotions. And then
- 29:10Speaker 1: I just decided, you know what, my kid went through
- 29:16Speaker 1: a whole four year experience. He's about to graduate, Like
- 29:19Speaker 1: if he can do it, I can do it. Like
- 29:21Speaker 1: it's not too late, you know. And I was super
- 29:23Speaker 1: hard on myself. But if I failed this, that and
- 29:25Speaker 1: the third I'm not gonna do well. I'm not a
- 29:28Speaker 1: good tester, this, that, and the third. Like I just
- 29:30Speaker 1: I had a lot of things going on, but I
- 29:33Speaker 1: bit the bullet bullet and said, you know what, I'm
- 29:36Speaker 1: gonna do it. I'm gonna do this not for anybody else,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this for me, and I'm gonna put
- 29:42Speaker 1: my best foot forward and just try and that's gonna
- 29:49Speaker 1: have to be good enough. Whatever I put my mind to,
- 29:53Speaker 1: just do it. So I made the decision twenty twenty
- 29:56Speaker 1: four to start back school in September. Fast forward to now,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I am doing extremely well. I am holding my four
- 30:06Speaker 1: point oh gpay work and work well. That just goes
- 30:11Speaker 1: to show like if you step out on faith and
- 30:15Speaker 1: you stay true to yourself and you really like do
- 30:18Speaker 1: what you want to do as far as your goals
- 30:20Speaker 1: and just hang on to it and just try your best,
- 30:24Speaker 1: you literally can do anything that you put your mind to.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And so that was one of the things that I've
- 30:28Speaker 1: learned in twenty twenty four is to trust myself, trust
- 30:32Speaker 1: my instinct, trust my gut, and just go with it.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And so I did, and this is what I got
- 30:42Speaker 1: for doing so so hopefully that continues and I graduate
- 30:47Speaker 1: in October of this year with a four point zero
- 30:51Speaker 1: because that is my goal.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Work work. I'm so proud of you for doing that.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Like that. That takes a lot, because it's.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Something that I tease and it's something that you know,
- 31:03Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to say this on air,
- 31:04Speaker 2: but it's something Okay, fine, It's something that I've toyed
- 31:10Speaker 2: with the idea of doing myself. You know, I really
- 31:14Speaker 2: want to tap into some of my innate talents.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Like I can do the entertainment landscape.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I can do everything logistics wise, drive, pack, ship, all
- 31:27Speaker 2: of that. But I also like there's more, there's more
- 31:33Speaker 2: layers to me that make me me that I've used
- 31:38Speaker 2: as a part of my personality but have never really
- 31:41Speaker 2: pursued as a career. So maybe I'm I'm open to
- 31:45Speaker 2: the idea, at least in my own little mind, you know,
- 31:50Speaker 2: repairing itself and picking up the pieces.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I think you should go for it.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Maybe again, we'll see, we will see.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I mean, even if it's not on on campus, experience
- 32:03Speaker 1: online is just as good. And that's another thing people
- 32:06Speaker 1: are like online that ain't shit that and the third
- 32:08Speaker 1: it's not really a real experience.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yes, it is your whole lives. Whole lives during COVID
- 32:15Speaker 3: was online. Don't tell me that.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Live became online because online was the only way to
- 32:23Speaker 2: get shipped done. You nat to give me that argument.
- 32:27Speaker 1: And let me tell you, the work is the same.
- 32:30Speaker 1: You have to work. You still have assignments that you
- 32:33Speaker 1: have to turn in, you still have papers that you
- 32:35Speaker 1: have to write. It is no difference. The only thing
- 32:38Speaker 1: is that you're sitting in your house wearing your pajamas
- 32:40Speaker 1: or whatever you got going on. But you still have
- 32:43Speaker 1: to do the same amount of work. So I dis
- 32:45Speaker 1: missed that. Of course, try to be like, try to
- 32:48Speaker 1: lowball my situation. I'm like, please, I am working hard
- 32:53Speaker 1: as ship for this, okay. And so I say to
- 32:58Speaker 1: anybody who wants to go to school, I'm go online.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You could make your own schedule fit that in to
- 33:06Speaker 1: however your life is set up, and get it done. Honestly,
- 33:11Speaker 1: I go for it. You know, I'm supportive of you.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Absolutely. For me.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Twenty twenty four, I'm not sure what year you said.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Did you say twenty twenty four was the year of true?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yes?
- 33:24Speaker 3: Yeah, because it was definitely that for me. I might
- 33:26Speaker 3: echo that again.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Lots of people really showed they ass in twenty twenty four.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Like I didn't think that there could be coons like
- 33:39Speaker 2: Byron Daniels, you know what I'm saying, Like, I didn't
- 33:42Speaker 2: think that there could be people like that in popular
- 33:49Speaker 2: you know, like in this culture right now. And I
- 33:51Speaker 2: guess I knew that they would. They were, but just
- 33:55Speaker 2: maybe not on you know, epic landscape, like like a
- 34:00Speaker 2: figurehead for some people.
- 34:05Speaker 3: I don't know, and that may have been my naivety
- 34:08Speaker 3: or whatever, but I will say that for.
- 34:13Speaker 2: The ripple effect of seeing that on such a big platform,
- 34:19Speaker 2: the ripple of that kind of mentality play out in
- 34:24Speaker 2: smaller situations around me, that has been really the mind
- 34:30Speaker 2: fucked for me, just seeing different people that maybe I
- 34:35Speaker 2: once admired, maybe that I've even helped along the way,
- 34:40Speaker 2: just take some of the stances that they've taken, be
- 34:43Speaker 2: it women against women, be it against gays, be it
- 34:46Speaker 2: against like whatever opposing thing that they're doing. It's been
- 34:54Speaker 2: eye opening because not approving of something it is, you know,
- 35:04Speaker 2: and I'm talking about like sexuality at this point, I'm
- 35:06Speaker 2: talking about women leading, I'm talking about abortion, I'm talking
- 35:12Speaker 2: about all these core principles that everybody says that influenced
- 35:16Speaker 2: how they feel about the political landscape right now, all
- 35:21Speaker 2: of those forces at once, to see them, to see
- 35:30Speaker 2: that people feel so strongly about them that they will
- 35:34Speaker 2: then bypass that humanity aspect of it in order to
- 35:40Speaker 2: push these kinds of ideals forward.
- 35:43Speaker 3: That's the part that's disconnected me so much.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And I think you know me, like a lot of
- 35:51Speaker 2: Americans have been traumatized by the whole COVID pandemic thing.
- 35:56Speaker 2: It's made us a lot more hypersensitive. It's made my
- 36:00Speaker 2: germophobia ten times worse.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Mm hm.
- 36:06Speaker 2: It's already hard for people, you know, anxiety depression, it's
- 36:09Speaker 2: it's already hard for people like me to go outside.
- 36:15Speaker 2: But when we do go outside, we've always felt like
- 36:19Speaker 2: this sense of safety with those around us, or at
- 36:22Speaker 2: least the community that knows us. Like you might not
- 36:25Speaker 2: invite a whole bunch of gaze over to your house,
- 36:28Speaker 2: but you recognize me is, oh, the cool gay guy
- 36:31Speaker 2: that don't bother nobody in the neighborhood. And I've always
- 36:36Speaker 2: been that, And I've always kind of stuck to the
- 36:39Speaker 2: same places, the same areas and stuff because of those
- 36:44Speaker 2: you know, kind of safety protocols and you know those things.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Seeing things play out the way.
- 36:50Speaker 2: That they have has made those safe, those places seem
- 36:55Speaker 2: and those spaces seem less safe. To me, I don't
- 37:00Speaker 2: I don't feel great about going outside.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I have to think twice about leaving just after dark.
- 37:08Speaker 2: I was laughing with you know someone the other day
- 37:12Speaker 2: about going outside after dark. I was like, I feel
- 37:15Speaker 2: like I need to be inside the house before the
- 37:17Speaker 2: street lights come on.
- 37:18Speaker 3: And I really do.
- 37:20Speaker 2: And with daylight savings, of course that happens, it's goddamn noon.
- 37:25Speaker 3: But it does feel it feels weird. It feels weird
- 37:31Speaker 3: just being out now. And four has been the year
- 37:35Speaker 3: of truth.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of these people show me who
- 37:38Speaker 2: they really are through their action, and so many of
- 37:43Speaker 2: so many people have disappointed me in so many different ways.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I haven't unpacked the layers yet of how that's betrayed
- 37:52Speaker 2: me and what it's caused inside of me. That doesn't
- 37:57Speaker 2: make me want to go out. I'm sorry that makes
- 37:59Speaker 2: me not want to go out.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Rather yeah, but to me, you have to look at
- 38:06Speaker 1: it like a blessing. And twenty twenty five, I put
- 38:08Speaker 1: on my post twenty twenty five will be the year
- 38:11Speaker 1: of blessings. I know it will be in my life.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And I'm not going to tell our listeners what's going on,
- 38:17Speaker 1: but you know, like what is about to happen in
- 38:20Speaker 1: my life? But it really is. And twenty twenty four
- 38:26Speaker 1: being the Year of truth, everybody unfortunately had to realize,
- 38:32Speaker 1: you know, who people really are in their life, what
- 38:35Speaker 1: their views were morally in all of that, And that
- 38:41Speaker 1: in itself is a blessing to me because I don't
- 38:45Speaker 1: want you to be a friend who doesn't value my rights.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I want you to be an associate of some that
- 39:04Speaker 1: has their views, but somebody that I don't have to
- 39:07Speaker 1: call a friend, you know what I'm saying. It brought
- 39:10Speaker 1: all of that out, like you at least know who's
- 39:13Speaker 1: who in your life, so now you can do your
- 39:16Speaker 1: spring cleaning and get rid of people who have really
- 39:20Speaker 1: no place in your life because they don't even have
- 39:23Speaker 1: they don't even have the love in their heart to
- 39:27Speaker 1: even recognize that you should have certain rights as a
- 39:29Speaker 1: human being. So I'm glad that people came out and
- 39:35Speaker 1: was like, oh, this is my view, I'm standing on it,
- 39:38Speaker 1: and I don't think that women should have the right
- 39:40Speaker 1: to their bodies and this that and the third, I'm
- 39:42Speaker 1: so glad that people got to speak out and show
- 39:47Speaker 1: who they really are, because one thing about it is
- 39:53Speaker 1: what I've been seeing in media. People are already regriting it,
- 40:00Speaker 1: already voted for Trump, are already why Grandma, you can't
- 40:10Speaker 1: even need Grandma's house anymore because you voted for Trump, Holly.
- 40:16Speaker 3: No Christmas muffins for you, bitch.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Nothing nothing, So many videos and tiktoks of people crying
- 40:24Speaker 1: and stuff. I'm so upset by grandmother. She doesn't want
- 40:28Speaker 1: me to come over. I haven't seen so many people
- 40:32Speaker 1: who are so ill informed about the political race that
- 40:38Speaker 1: they didn't know what tariffs were. They're losing your job,
- 40:45Speaker 1: You're dumb. The knowledge was there for free truth. You
- 40:53Speaker 1: can have the truth on a platter. All you have
- 40:56Speaker 1: to do is research it for yourself phone and listen
- 41:01Speaker 1: to whatever Trump's building out to his health and use
- 41:06Speaker 1: that as a premise to what you wanted to vote for. Well,
- 41:10Speaker 1: guess what it comes back to bite you in the ass,
- 41:12Speaker 1: and guess.
- 41:13Speaker 3: What really does.
- 41:13Speaker 1: He's going to find you no damn job, because guess
- 41:16Speaker 1: what the benefits that you get when you lose your job.
- 41:19Speaker 1: He's trying to get rid of those.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Two Yeah, lit research.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Even before, even before twenty twenty four, you had it
- 41:29Speaker 2: in your hand, like, okay, none of us even leaves
- 41:33Speaker 2: the room without our phone or without feeling like we're
- 41:37Speaker 2: attached to our phone. That device in and of itself
- 41:41Speaker 2: has access to a web browser.
- 41:44Speaker 3: That web browser.
- 41:45Speaker 2: On everybody's phone, whether you got Chrome or not, goes
- 41:48Speaker 2: to Google dot com. Absolutely, we have so many we
- 41:52Speaker 2: have AI now you can ask it questions. There's literally
- 41:57Speaker 2: no reason why anybody at this point should be ill informed.
- 42:03Speaker 2: And if they are ill informed, well, like, part of
- 42:08Speaker 2: adulting is not just listening and running with things. Some
- 42:14Speaker 2: of it is interpreting what that means to you. Everything
- 42:19Speaker 2: cannot be force fed to you through Twitter and truth
- 42:22Speaker 2: social like. You have to do some outside thinking, some
- 42:28Speaker 2: outside research. That's part of what makes adulting adulting. Oh
- 42:34Speaker 2: and you've had access to it the entire time. It's
- 42:37Speaker 2: been right there in your hands. And so many of
- 42:40Speaker 2: you use your time online to be so horrible people,
- 42:43Speaker 2: such horrible people.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That that's what makes it so delicious to me.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but you use your time to do that instead
- 42:51Speaker 2: of looking ship up.
- 42:57Speaker 1: That's all. And those of you who chose you're gonna
- 43:03Speaker 1: see your eyes will be opened, and maybe next time,
- 43:07Speaker 1: the next election, you'll choose more wisely and really think
- 43:13Speaker 1: about other people other than what you want to go through.
- 43:17Speaker 1: That's that's trending because a lot of people voted for
- 43:21Speaker 1: him because it was trending too. They want to control,
- 43:23Speaker 1: They trolled their they used their vote patrol, and that
- 43:28Speaker 1: that's just ridiculous. The lack of maturity and understanding is baffling.
- 43:34Speaker 1: But it's also not surprising either, because it seems to
- 43:37Speaker 1: me that people are getting stupider and stupider by the year.
- 43:50Speaker 2: For us recording on a different schedule, it's got my
- 43:53Speaker 2: whole schedule thrown off. So I just jumped out of
- 43:55Speaker 2: the shower to get on here, and my legs asked you,
- 43:58Speaker 2: so I gotta put on some lotion, be right.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Yes, there's been discussion about how the conservative shift in
- 44:04Speaker 6: politics is being reflected in social media's algorithms, and I
- 44:09Speaker 6: have to believe that that is why my for.
- 44:11Speaker 4: You page is so rancid right now.
- 44:13Speaker 6: Rancid in the sense that even some of the creators
- 44:16Speaker 6: whose perspectives that I generally respect are coming off very
- 44:21Speaker 6: I'm trying to find a nice word.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Conservatives.
- 44:25Speaker 6: The policing of immodest women is an example of this.
- 44:29Speaker 6: You think booty chicks are inappropriate for homecoming, Fine, I
- 44:33Speaker 6: personally don't care. Poster girl dresses are workerware, so they
- 44:37Speaker 6: are impractical for the daytime, and many young women do
- 44:40Speaker 6: take cues from sex workers without understanding what comes with
- 44:43Speaker 6: that lifestyle. Fine, I agree, But why are we y'
- 44:46Speaker 6: all throwing around terms like hypersexual something that is a
- 44:50Speaker 6: medical condition that y'all are diagnosing people with based on clothing.
- 44:54Speaker 6: How did y'all go full red Peel by saying that
- 44:57Speaker 6: these women should not be surprised if they're harassed or
- 45:00Speaker 6: assaulted in this attire. Meanwhile, there is no actual correlation
- 45:04Speaker 6: between sexual violence and clothing. Men have just programmed y'all
- 45:07Speaker 6: to believe that so that you brain women for their behavior.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Death feminism one on.
- 45:11Speaker 1: One, I thought we all got that.
- 45:13Speaker 6: Why are people spreading myths about HIV and a's like
- 45:16Speaker 6: it's the fucking eighties? Ronald Reagan asked motherfucker's talking about
- 45:20Speaker 6: they shouldn't be allowed in tattoo shops and that prep
- 45:23Speaker 6: commercials are bad because they encourage people to.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Sleep with infected people.
- 45:28Speaker 6: Somebody actually said that, why is it cool to now
- 45:31Speaker 6: openly mock disabled people under the guise of faux adoration.
- 45:35Speaker 6: I love Shanan Bria the way that y'all are demonizing
- 45:39Speaker 6: radicals to cape for politicians before election day. Ill mocking
- 45:43Speaker 6: genocide victims and posting the number to ICE as a
- 45:46Speaker 6: joke in response to Kamala losing. Ill using identity politics
- 45:50Speaker 6: as a pejorative when you don't even know where that
- 45:52Speaker 6: term originated from. Similar to how conservatives do woke ill
- 45:57Speaker 6: implying that.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Trans women are not allowed.
- 45:58Speaker 6: To be upset at being miss gendered if they don't
- 46:01Speaker 6: look feminine enough. Ill repackaging gender roles and sprinkling on spirituality,
- 46:06Speaker 6: talking about dark, divine feminine energy. Ill ill im and
- 46:11Speaker 6: now this just then, y'all are about to pretend not
- 46:13Speaker 6: to understand why a woman is saying not only that
- 46:16Speaker 6: she likes to be thin, which is her right, but
- 46:18Speaker 6: that sometimes it's all she thinks about to her comment
- 46:21Speaker 6: section that's full of the most scary comments about women
- 46:24Speaker 6: in their pursuit of fitness. Now we're about to pretend
- 46:26Speaker 6: like we don't see why that's a fucking problem. I
- 46:28Speaker 6: can't stand y'all.
- 46:29Speaker 7: So if I'm understanding the tech broke position correctly, is this,
- 46:33Speaker 7: we can't hire Americans because they're not educated enough. Americans
- 46:37Speaker 7: are like educate me, they like f off.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Think about it.
- 46:41Speaker 7: One of the most booming industries in this country right
- 46:44Speaker 7: now is tech, and these folks believe that Americans are
- 46:47Speaker 7: not qualified or not educated, not motivated enough, and then
- 46:51Speaker 7: got to be able to hire people that need H
- 46:53Speaker 7: one B one visus that don't have American citizenship in.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Order to hold down these American jobs.
- 46:58Speaker 7: This whole time there was Chess saying, hey, put me
- 47:01Speaker 7: in office, put the person an allied with an office,
- 47:04Speaker 7: because they gonna ensure that American jobs.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Are for American people. But Americans are not educated enough
- 47:11Speaker 1: for them tech jobs. I guess you feel me.
- 47:13Speaker 7: Hey, they're gonna do mass deportation except for people they
- 47:16Speaker 7: got an H one people and visa.
- 47:17Speaker 3: You good?
- 47:19Speaker 2: Oh alrighty bitch, as we back my legs nice and
- 47:23Speaker 2: glazed and look, how do you feel moving forward into
- 47:31Speaker 2: twenty twenty five with what you know today? That's lyrics
- 47:35Speaker 2: like what are your what are your fears? What are
- 47:38Speaker 2: your expectations? Maybe got a conspiracy theory you gotta want
- 47:43Speaker 2: to get off your chest, like what's what are your
- 47:45Speaker 2: feelings about it?
- 47:46Speaker 3: Personally?
- 47:49Speaker 1: Personally, I'm just taking it by the day. I suffer
- 47:53Speaker 1: from anxiety, PTSD and all of that good stuff, and
- 47:58Speaker 1: I'm working on that. This year. I'm not going to well,
- 48:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna try not to think the worst. I'm just
- 48:07Speaker 1: going from now on see how things play out, and
- 48:12Speaker 1: that's how I'm That's how I'm going for as far
- 48:15Speaker 1: as twenty twenty five. I'm gonna see how things play out.
- 48:18Speaker 1: If somebody does something that's upsetting, I'll deal with it accordingly.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm not gonna waste too much time on people who
- 48:28Speaker 1: don't make time for me. I'm just gonna be looking
- 48:33Speaker 1: at this year in a totally different perspective than I
- 48:37Speaker 1: did previous years, and just I'm just gonna see. I'm
- 48:43Speaker 1: just gonna see what happens and deal with everything accordingly
- 48:46Speaker 1: to how I see fit. If you happen to be
- 48:49Speaker 1: catch me on a fuck around and find out type
- 48:51Speaker 1: of mood, then that's the type of mood you're gonna
- 48:53Speaker 1: get if you find me in a Oh, I'm trying
- 48:56Speaker 1: to work better on me and I'm not gonna cush
- 48:58Speaker 1: your glass out. But I'm gonna talk to you and
- 49:00Speaker 1: let you know I ain't like what you did. Then
- 49:02Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna get. I mean, I'm just gonna
- 49:04Speaker 1: take it day by day.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I think that's been my vibe lately, just and not
- 49:10Speaker 3: rip your head off. But I don't know you want
- 49:13Speaker 3: to know?
- 49:13Speaker 1: Why is because now the older I get, the more
- 49:16Speaker 1: I've realized that peace of mind is everything.
- 49:19Speaker 2: It is, Oh my god, it's so simple, Like, but
- 49:23Speaker 2: put a price tag on it.
- 49:24Speaker 3: You can't because it takes you a minute to get there.
- 49:27Speaker 1: M hm.
- 49:28Speaker 2: And like certain factors have to be I don't know.
- 49:32Speaker 2: And maybe that just comes with They say it comes
- 49:34Speaker 2: with age. So I guess we are experiencing that.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Let this be our documentation.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Ye baby, you can be dismissed blocks like, and I won't.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I act like you've never existed in life. That's how
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm carrying stuff from that on. I like, I never
- 49:55Speaker 1: met you, you never were involved with me, Like my
- 49:58Speaker 1: cutoff game is about to be so and so crazy, respectfully,
- 50:05Speaker 1: But That's how I'm carrying stot from that one, because
- 50:08Speaker 1: like you want to disturb me, you can get the
- 50:10Speaker 1: fuck out of here. And I'm going to be in
- 50:12Speaker 1: my little my safe space for myself. Then I created
- 50:16Speaker 1: for my space for myself. And that's another thing too.
- 50:19Speaker 1: You have to learn how to create a safe space
- 50:22Speaker 1: for yourself and not look for other people to do
- 50:26Speaker 1: that for you. You have to be so well in tuned
- 50:29Speaker 1: with what you want and know what you value and
- 50:33Speaker 1: create a safe space for yourself and learn boundaries. Learn
- 50:37Speaker 1: that word no. Stop letting people take advantage of you,
- 50:42Speaker 1: take your kindness for weakness. Start going respectfully or disspectfully
- 50:48Speaker 1: if that's the mood you're in that day.
- 50:51Speaker 3: I know that's right.
- 50:52Speaker 2: I feel like doing a praise dance and a Tyler perrywig.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Listen.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Yeah I don't, but I definitely oh much.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Okay, So I'm a lot less structured or a lot
- 51:11Speaker 2: less together. Find you with you because see anxiety, she's
- 51:17Speaker 2: like running crazy in my head right now, she's running,
- 51:20Speaker 2: she's bumping all in the shit, knocks it over, and
- 51:24Speaker 2: it's so many different scenarios that are playing in my mind.
- 51:27Speaker 2: So for example, again this is January fourth in my mind,
- 51:33Speaker 2: like it's gonna be some clause with him. I don't know,
- 51:36Speaker 2: it's just something about him being a convicted felon and
- 51:40Speaker 2: them amplifying that it can't just be in my mind
- 51:46Speaker 2: right now, it can't just be Hm, he's a convicted
- 51:51Speaker 2: felon and he's gonna lead our country, and we just
- 51:54Speaker 2: wanted you to know that it.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Can't be just that. It's got to be something that
- 51:58Speaker 3: they're waiting for. The Yeah, like you right.
- 52:01Speaker 2: There about to be sworn and they're sworn in.
- 52:03Speaker 8: And they're like, so hey, girl, according to these papers,
- 52:08Speaker 8: you can't be the president if you are feling like
- 52:12Speaker 8: that kind of shit is playing into my head and
- 52:14Speaker 8: then everybody goes out and breaks out into a musical.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Anyways, that's my ideal mind.
- 52:19Speaker 2: That is a perfect scenario, mm hmm, moving into twenty
- 52:23Speaker 2: twenty five knowing what I know at this point. Without that,
- 52:29Speaker 2: it gives me optimistic fear, and I don't know if
- 52:34Speaker 2: those things can live in the same I know that
- 52:36Speaker 2: they can, but I haven't figured out how to navigate
- 52:40Speaker 2: through that yet. So while I want to maybe go
- 52:48Speaker 2: out more and engage with people that I want, you know,
- 52:51Speaker 2: well not anybody that I've cut off, but while I
- 52:54Speaker 2: want to get out and maybe start from ground, I
- 52:59Speaker 2: you know, actually being in Baltimore, like it's different when
- 53:03Speaker 2: you move to a different city that is, you know,
- 53:06Speaker 2: outside of.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Your normal social circle. Yeah, it's about learning new people.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I think that I have a couple of people that
- 53:15Speaker 2: I want to hang out with, but then that also
- 53:17Speaker 2: comes with what are these people's intentions?
- 53:20Speaker 3: You know, it's just a.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Different shit that you got to worry about. But like
- 53:28Speaker 2: I said, the optimism part is.
- 53:33Speaker 3: I guess just.
- 53:36Speaker 2: How I want my ideal to play out in my
- 53:38Speaker 2: mind as far as like you know, having spaces and
- 53:42Speaker 2: you know, being in rooms to get things done and
- 53:46Speaker 2: grow more.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Like those things are in my mind.
- 53:49Speaker 2: But it's just again having to get there, having to
- 53:54Speaker 2: rebuild because I've cut a lot of people out since
- 53:58Speaker 2: this whole bullshit, Like, no, there's too many people have
- 54:04Speaker 2: deemed themselves unsafe to be in my space.
- 54:08Speaker 3: I can't do it anymore.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And that's perfectly fine.
- 54:12Speaker 3: It is I and I'm working it. It sucks.
- 54:20Speaker 2: It sucks to not really have a whole lot of
- 54:22Speaker 2: shit to do, but the things that I'm doing, I'm
- 54:26Speaker 2: doing actively and again working on myself. That was twenty
- 54:32Speaker 2: twenty four, rebuilding me, twenty twenty five for me is
- 54:36Speaker 2: going to be putting that kind of repaired side of
- 54:42Speaker 2: me back out.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Mhmm, thanks Jo so.
- 54:48Speaker 3: M that felt relieving, Yeah, a little bit.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Anyways, let's see what have we got next. What do
- 54:59Speaker 2: you say it was your favorite moment of twenty twenty four?
- 55:06Speaker 3: Mm hmmm mm hmm. It could be the podcast or other.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Actually just do one. Let's do one for the podcast
- 55:15Speaker 3: and then one for you know, just in general.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Oh, I want to do the podcast first, or you
- 55:23Speaker 2: want to do or actually you want me to go
- 55:25Speaker 2: for her?
- 55:27Speaker 3: Yes?
- 55:28Speaker 1: Yes, all right, some time to think.
- 55:31Speaker 2: All right, hmmm for me, The funniest moment of twenty
- 55:36Speaker 2: twenty four on the podcast, I would say, was you
- 55:47Speaker 2: cussing out that girl to put that tattoo on her face?
- 55:53Speaker 3: That ship was funny. Do you even remember that? I
- 55:57Speaker 3: don't I don't want it Krashan?
- 56:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh yeah, that was funny.
- 56:09Speaker 3: If y'all didn't know, go back to listen to that.
- 56:11Speaker 3: So that shit was funny.
- 56:12Speaker 2: But now four, I would say, just as an overall,
- 56:18Speaker 2: at least in the news and stuff, I know it
- 56:22Speaker 2: is problematic, but they're eating the dog shit. That was
- 56:26Speaker 2: funny because it just came out of left field and
- 56:32Speaker 2: it was so disrespectful. And egregiously like incorrect that I
- 56:39Speaker 2: thought that we all knew that, Like I thought that
- 56:43Speaker 2: that was so confirming. I was like, Okay, so now
- 56:46Speaker 2: everybody's gonna see that this person is an idiot. That's
- 56:50Speaker 2: that's that's not what really happened, y'all. Y'all were completely fooled.
- 56:54Speaker 2: But for me, that was just epic that there was
- 56:59Speaker 2: nothing fun than that moment because I just remember erupting
- 57:02Speaker 2: in the laughter because I thought, how ridiculous, how dare you?
- 57:07Speaker 2: And thank god he said something so goddamn dumb. I
- 57:11Speaker 2: thought all of these things at once, and it was
- 57:15Speaker 2: just this moment of joy that came out, like I
- 57:17Speaker 2: felt like, wow, you know, everybody's gonna be in on
- 57:21Speaker 2: the joke.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Now.
- 57:22Speaker 2: No, again, that is not what happened, but that was
- 57:27Speaker 2: my funniest moment of twenty twenty four.
- 57:31Speaker 3: What About You?
- 57:33Speaker 1: Far as the podcast goes, it would have to be
- 57:39Speaker 1: right before Tigger departed, where our listener wrote in trying
- 57:44Speaker 1: to get Tiger Man's actual only fans in me when
- 57:48Speaker 1: I say that shit took me out because like y'all
- 57:52Speaker 1: gotta know, we play around a lot that man does
- 57:56Speaker 1: not really have an only fans page and for y'all
- 57:59Speaker 1: to be that to really be like, can you send
- 58:03Speaker 1: me it? Because I would subscribed and all of this
- 58:05Speaker 1: stuff y'all are nasty.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it shouldn't be happening.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I'm sprying.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Listen.
- 58:12Speaker 2: I know you are a married woman, not a you know,
- 58:15Speaker 2: not a cheater or anything. But I'm surprised that well,
- 58:19Speaker 2: I don't know because our listener demographic has changed since
- 58:23Speaker 2: we talk a little bit more about social issues now.
- 58:28Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I guess the hip hop nigga's kind of listen sometimes now,
- 58:32Speaker 2: But either way, for me and Tiger, it was hell
- 58:38Speaker 2: there for a minute because for whatever reason, now niggas
- 58:42Speaker 2: think that I'm into like feet and peet and shit
- 58:47Speaker 2: like they do that kind of thing.
- 58:48Speaker 3: There's a difference. Listen.
- 58:50Speaker 2: There is a kink for everybody, and not kink shaming anybody.
- 58:55Speaker 3: But for whatever reason.
- 59:00Speaker 9: I'm listening and judging people ask what they like, what
- 59:07Speaker 9: they like, and I am here for you liking what
- 59:10Speaker 9: you like.
- 59:11Speaker 3: I always have been I always will be.
- 59:14Speaker 1: But something is wrong with you there that they call it.
- 59:22Speaker 2: They call it scat, they call it, And I was like,
- 59:30Speaker 2: what I discovered this This was years ago that I
- 59:32Speaker 2: discovered this, I was like.
- 59:35Speaker 3: No way, no, really, and then I thought.
- 59:38Speaker 2: It was like, oh, because I saw this on a
- 59:40Speaker 2: profile on the dating site. I can't remember what you one,
- 59:43Speaker 2: but I saw it on the you know, the dating site,
- 59:46Speaker 2: and of course my nosey ass I clicked on it
- 59:49Speaker 2: looking this, that and the third reading it and.
- 59:51Speaker 3: I thought at that point at my life again a
- 59:55Speaker 3: much younger me, I was like, you're just nasty.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Yeah it is, and.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I left it at that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: But then as I got to know more gay people,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: it was like because for the longest time, y'all have
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: to remember, I was never put in rooms or areas
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: with a lot of gay people. So for me, learning
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: the get the gay landscape has been it's been a lot.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: It's been a lot for me because I'm already a
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: little neurotic, but I'm also very like, I'm curious and
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I don't judge. Again, I was the friend with the
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: kid that nobody wanted to be friends with, so I
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: don't mind being you know, like you've given me daggers
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: from the side of the like from the other side
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: of the room. That's not gonna do anything to me,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: because I got a look that will just like kill
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: a lot of people. But for me, it's just been
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: being like trying to navigate and find find out different things.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: And again I thought that this was just one individual.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: There's a lot of niggas that like a lot of
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: different shit that not necessarily has ever entered my line
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: of interest. Y'all be into let me pee, and you know,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: I want a nigga a p in my button. I'd
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: be like, what the like, what are y'all into? What
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: is happening?
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: And I guess that people being you know, I've always
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: been a barfly because I've always gone to straight environments.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: And in straight environments, when straight people want to.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Meet or you know, at least be sociable to be
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: picked up, one of the things they do is they
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: go to the bar, and it's usually die bars, you know, sometimes,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: so I would got I guess I got into the
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: atmosphere of being comfortable in those environments. With the bar,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: you kind of get it. And then with my time
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: in the clubs and stuff, you know, hosting shows, going
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: to shows promoting the show, you know, our radio show.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I learned a lot. I don't know, I just got
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: cool in those environments.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: So when I switched over and started going to more
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: gay places.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: It.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I don't mean switch over as far as sexuality for
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: y'all out there. I'm talking about as far as you know,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: just me going more out into being you know, more
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: open to gay people. It's just been interesting to see
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: a lot of things that y'all are into.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: It's just it's it's mind blowing, it really is. And
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: again not judging.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: I don't even know where I I don't even know
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: how I got down that rabbit hole, but.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Probably a fetish for that ship too.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Anyways, but what what what the hell were we talking about?
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: The four?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and I said thing about the listener who wanted.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Information.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Anyways, I said that to say, it's been a challenge
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: just to see the kind of people that hit me
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: up now Versually. I used to get emails with people's
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: mixtapes and you know epks electronic preskeets and you know,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: interview requests and things, and now I get asty dicks
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: and booty whole pictures and you know, people trying to
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: touch me where I pee.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: Up in my inbox, So quite different.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I still get that from time to time. Now, don't
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: get it twisted.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Oh, I'm not saying that you are not desirable or mustious.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Black black block. I'm letting y'all know right now. Oh God, immediately.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Already, miss Lyric. Let's go ahead and on and I
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: guess wrap this up with the goals.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so I did speak or in schooling. That
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: is one of my major goals.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: My goal is to.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Finish school, but not just finish. I want to finish
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: with my four point h gpa. That is a major
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: goal for me. I am not playing like I am
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: really like headstrong on that because if I'm going to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: go back to school, I want to finish in a
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: major way. And to me, the greatest accomplishment that I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I could do for myself is to finish with that goal.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: So that's one of the major things that I'm going
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: to be focusing on. My second goal is to become
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: a homeowner work. I am so sick of dealing with
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: landlord yep and slum lords, I should say, and somebody
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: else's dream, if that makes sense. This isn't profiting me. Yes,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: it's a house to stay in. Yes it's my residence,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: but it's not my home. It's somebody else's home. I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: want my own. I want my own piece of safety
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: and contentment and comfortability that I won't have to worry
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: about oh months down the line. Now I gotta go
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: look for something else now. I want to have my
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: own piece of I guess you could say the American dream,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: but that's I'm saying that real loosely. Y'all know what
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I mean. Myself and my children. So that's the second goal,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: and the third goal is probably music related. I want
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: to continue down the path that I started last year.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I did start recording again and started, you know, put
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: myself back out there as a artist, a solo artist,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: and that's one of the things that I'm gonna focus
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: on as well. One of my goals I want to
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: perform at the Howard Theater so bad. I don't know
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: why I have been. I've been having this on my
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: mind since like twenty twenty fifteen or so. That has
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: been one of my dreams. I don't care who it's with.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I don't care if it's a solo show. I don't
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: care if I'm opening up for somebody. That is my goal.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I want to perform at the Howard Theater with me.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I know that I will be there, and not only
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: will I be there, but I will pull whatever connects
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I have to make sure that you get there.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Yep. So that's about it. That's my top three if
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I'm not mistake. I mean, I have other things that
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I want to do. Is with my music, like do
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: a record with Rahem Devn and I might be having
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: some things and works with that. You know, people who know,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: people who know, people have been looking out, so that
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: might be something in the future that I might got
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: going on. So who knows. The years blessings and I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: mean that and everything that I suffered with and dealt
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: with in twenty twenty three up until now, it's going
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: to make everything in this year worth it.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Wow, I look forward to that. Shake out your glass
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: being half full.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna get there, and that's my goal for
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. I want to smile at me and
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: the goal to get there is simply doing that and
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: without getting all into my business. But it's simply doing
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: the things that I don't want to do. And I
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: don't mean I don't mean like you know, something harmful.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: It just means something that I'm just that I'm the block.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna stop getting in my own way.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Yes, that's my first goal.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Second goal, go outside and not cut somebody out for
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: being stupid.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Child because I struggle sometimes a struggle.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: No, but seriously, next goal, I would say is to
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: at least put myself in a room where I can
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: pursue this educational endeavor.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Yes, that's a goal, okay.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: And my third goal is to spend more time with
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: my family.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: And that includes my family, you know, friends.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: And family, my maid family, yeah, my maid family, and
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: my also biological family.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: So it's it's gonna be some.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: It's growing up, yeah, even more so because I'm already
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: I feel like I grew up, but I feel like
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: I grew up very I don't know, it's this weird
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: kind of I guess the word for it is maturity.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: I'm going to approach things with a little bit more
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: mature of a mind because I can't.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: In this atmosphere. Everything is driven by anger, right everything.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: I mean, you even at how things are politically right now,
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: you got Trump that is just waving around Thor's hammer,
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: just angry and he doesn't care where the lightning bolts strikes.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: It's just he's waving around this thing and anger. And
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: when I look at myself and how for many years
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: I've weaponized my intelligence and activated it during anger.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Now I kind of want to.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Work with my intelligence and use it to elevate myself
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: and those around me even to higher platforms than I
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: have been able to do so before. Yeah, and that's
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: going to require.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Some very stern very soon.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: And therefore I really am, I really am so twenty
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: twenty five, bring it, bitch. What do you think are
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: what's the predictions? What do you think that we're going
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: to see that we haven't seen this year?
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I don't really know. But what I do know is
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna be watching The Simpsons because them bitches there
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: then predictions that ship.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: That's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I'm not going to predict nothing. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: watch the Simpsons and see what they predict, because listen,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I don't want I don't want to call myself a
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: conspiracy therapy. There there is. If it sounds like a duck,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: it walks like a duck, it swims like a duck.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Bitch girl, the Simpsons. I see so many episodes on
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: the literally mirror what has been happening now and in
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: recent news it's the ship I've ever fucking seen. That's
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: what I'm gonna be doing with my time watching Simpson episodes, like, oh.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Yeah, do you think we're gonna get to see an
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: alien this year? Lyric?
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Now, I don't want to see no alien, y'all. Stay
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: why it's already fucked up down here, Like, we don't
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: need to put aliens in the midst of what we
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: got going on, Like do you.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: Know how many people flode?
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: You know how many heads flow with the idea, with
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: the idea of aliens like that would just.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Yo, we don't need aliens and demons. Come on, now,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that's a bit too much.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: We do not, Oh my god. But no, Honestly, I
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: think that we're going to see a very serious political shift.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: I see it happening very dramatically, and I don't know
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: which way it's swinging in, but it's got my it's
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: got my Spidey sense. Its tangling like almost more than
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: they ever have so and it might also just be anxiety.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: But either way, that's most who don't know. I think
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: it's Uganda. They're offering free centerzenship for anybody of African
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: American descent to come over and live there.
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: Well, we're gonna need a little different recording schedule. I'm
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: headed out, girl.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm going back to the Motherland. If anything pops up
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: off over here, that's maybe a little unsavory for my family.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I'm going to Africa, and y'all gonna be here a
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: w R t R broadcasted from the Motherland with me.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: Heo, y'all.
