- 0:21Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:26Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:30Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Frayday, April eighteen,
- 0:39Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Welcome to the end of the week.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You're inside the treehouse. Thanks for joining us. I'm a
- 0:49Speaker 1: little late to this party, but I still think it
- 0:51Speaker 1: bears mentioning. Last Saturday night was the full moon. It
- 0:57Speaker 1: was also a pink moon. But that's not all it was.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The full moon the other day wasn't just a pink moon.
- 1:11Speaker 1: It was also a micro moon. Yeah, a micro moon.
- 1:18Speaker 1: According to a NASA scientist, a micro moon is observed
- 1:22Speaker 1: as the celestial object is at or near the farthest
- 1:25Speaker 1: point from Earth, also known as apige, along its orbital path.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And that's what we had last Saturday. We had ourselves
- 1:35Speaker 1: a micro moon. And now that we've had a micro moon,
- 1:40Speaker 1: next we'll get an average moon, then a magnum moon,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and then they'll all be overshadowed by a big black moon. Welcome,
- 1:52Speaker 1: thank you for thank you for attending my ted talk.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I don't I don't remember all the moon labels as
- 2:03Speaker 1: a kid did we have them, and they just weren't publicized.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Or is it like everything these days? Everything has to
- 2:11Speaker 1: have a freaking label. Can't you just say it's full moon.
- 2:16Speaker 1: There's hunter moons, there's blue moons, there's pink moons, there's
- 2:19Speaker 1: super moons, micro moons. Now, blood moon, blood moon, I.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Remember some of them, but no, I think most of
- 2:31Speaker 2: it is the fact that it's just information. Information is
- 2:34Speaker 2: so accessible now versus we would have had to have
- 2:37Speaker 2: actually opened up our world book encyclopedias and looked up
- 2:44Speaker 2: lunar events. Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like I'm doing pretty good knowing
- 2:48Speaker 1: that whether or not the moon is waxing or waning,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and whether it's a crescent or a gibbeth. You start
- 2:58Speaker 1: throwing in all these other things and it's like, okay,
- 3:00Speaker 1: now it's just too much, because like, oh this is
- 3:02Speaker 1: this is the squirrel moon, and this is the wolf moon.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's like, shut up, it's either full or it's not.
- 3:09Speaker 3: What is a gibbis?
- 3:12Speaker 1: That's when it's more than half? So the crescent is
- 3:18Speaker 1: the sliver, right, Yeah, isn't that what it is? It's
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's the gibbos.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's the three quarter moon.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the more than half. Why Raj, why are you
- 3:32Speaker 1: laughing like that? And Trey, why do you have that
- 3:33Speaker 1: look on your face like I'm just a complete and
- 3:35Speaker 1: total moron.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I'm actually not. I'm I'm I. I was actually impressed
- 3:41Speaker 2: with your your your knowledge of the lunar cycles.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Thank you, because you got that gas lighting look on
- 3:47Speaker 1: your face that has me questioning whether or not I
- 3:49Speaker 1: used it properly because I know, I know, I know
- 3:52Speaker 1: crescent and I based on the look on your face,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I was a little I was starting to question myself
- 3:57Speaker 1: on the gibboss. I was like, wait, is that also
- 3:59Speaker 1: a monkey?
- 4:00Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I mean, there might be a monkey moon, but not
- 4:02Speaker 1: in the way that I'm trying to say there's a
- 4:03Speaker 1: monkey moon. I'm gonna get Jerry in here to help
- 4:05Speaker 1: me out. Jerry Caldwell, it's the moon phases, right, the
- 4:10Speaker 1: moon phases. Yes, you've got waxing and waning, and you've
- 4:14Speaker 1: got crescent and Gibbs right, correct, thank you.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You start with the new moon, and then you go
- 4:20Speaker 4: to the waxing crescent, and then half and then waxing Gibbis,
- 4:26Speaker 4: new full moon, waning Gibbis waning half waning crescent, back
- 4:32Speaker 4: to New Yeah, I'm.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Just so excited. The reason I'm laughing is I'm so
- 4:37Speaker 3: excited not to be the Indian guy in the room
- 4:39Speaker 3: that's not the biggest nerd. That doesn't happen very often.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Well, let's catch up here momentarily, because yesterday we were
- 4:48Speaker 1: talking about our prominent SAT scores from when we were young,
- 4:53Speaker 1: because you had the kid from Grapevine nail his not
- 4:58Speaker 1: only his act but also as SAT perfect scores on
- 5:02Speaker 1: both whereas my very prominent high ten hundred's SATs score
- 5:09Speaker 1: got me right in in the University of Texas at Arlington. Raj,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you got a thirteen twenty, and Trey, I believe you're
- 5:16Speaker 1: the You're you're the high score in the treehouse. What
- 5:19Speaker 1: was yours?
- 5:19Speaker 2: I think Rage was probably the high score on the SAT.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm the one who got a thirteen twenty. I think
- 5:26Speaker 2: he said he got like a thirteen eighty thirteen fifty
- 5:28Speaker 2: thirteen five.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Okay, sorry, Raj, you're the high score thirteen fifty, Trey,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you're the thirteen twenty. Jerry, do you remember your SAT score?
- 5:37Speaker 4: Mine was also thirteen twenty.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Wow? Okay, mother, Why am I so stupid? It's probably
- 5:49Speaker 3: because of the Gibbus, I don't know.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's actually a pretty good look into the way my
- 5:56Speaker 1: brain works. Is I'll say something and I'll be confident
- 5:58Speaker 1: about it, but then someone like Trey will make a
- 6:01Speaker 1: look on his face and then I'll question it. That
- 6:04Speaker 1: is that is a big reason why I didn't have
- 6:07Speaker 1: some astounding SAT score, because I'll put an answer down
- 6:10Speaker 1: and then I'll go back and overthink it, ruminate and
- 6:13Speaker 1: analyze to death to think or could it be this one?
- 6:19Speaker 1: And that's how I got myself into ten sixty seventy
- 6:23Speaker 1: eighty whatever it was on the SAT. Also because I
- 6:26Speaker 1: was hungover, and by the time I'm like halfway through
- 6:29Speaker 1: the test, I'm like, I am just tired. I don't
- 6:32Speaker 1: want to be here anymore. I'm not in the mood
- 6:34Speaker 1: from one of your stupid questions. I just want to
- 6:37Speaker 1: go home and go to bed. And that's how you
- 6:39Speaker 1: end up with a sub eleven hundred SAT.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I thought that was much. That's how you end up
- 6:45Speaker 2: married to Dan.
- 6:50Speaker 1: No Tara, I believe was in the twelve hundreds on
- 6:52Speaker 1: hers if I remember.
- 6:53Speaker 2: No, just you know, I'm tired, I want to go
- 6:56Speaker 2: to bed, take me home.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I don't want to do this anymore, I'm gonna have
- 7:05Speaker 4: to trry that out in the wild.

- 8:56Speaker 1: with Trey, Raj and Jerry. Today is Friday, April eighteenth,
- 9:01Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Gentlemen, A very big question to ask
- 9:05Speaker 1: you today. Have you ever accidentally used the inWORD accidentally accidentally?
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'm going I'm gonna go ahead and help you out
- 9:17Speaker 1: here and say no, you haven't, because no one has
- 9:21Speaker 1: ever accidentally used the inWORD. It's been intentional. Every single
- 9:26Speaker 1: time I've heard it. Someone might have regretted saying it,
- 9:30Speaker 1: especially where others could hear it, but it was still intentional.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So when KTLA Channel five in Los Angeles hosted a
- 9:39Speaker 1: single word tweet with the inWORD last week, it rightfully
- 9:43Speaker 1: sparked outrage and prompted the station to apologize. But when
- 9:48Speaker 1: they called it a technical error that I was curious to,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I was curious to hear them out, because again, I've
- 9:57Speaker 1: never heard anyone accidentally use the inWORD okay. KTLA released
- 10:03Speaker 1: a statement that said KTLA experienced a technical error while
- 10:08Speaker 1: adding language filters to our social media accounts, resulting in
- 10:13Speaker 1: an offensive word being accidentally shared. We are appalled and
- 10:18Speaker 1: apologized that this occurred. So, you see, using the N
- 10:22Speaker 1: word is never an accident. There's always a reason, kind
- 10:28Speaker 1: of like when Trey uses the C word.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's never an accident, because you can't hypothetically. The
- 10:39Speaker 2: only time I can say, you think of where you
- 10:42Speaker 2: would go okay accident is if you were like singing
- 10:45Speaker 2: along to a rap song and you're meant to do
- 10:49Speaker 2: the radio friendly edit and you instead went the actual
- 10:58Speaker 2: yeah ri but explicit version yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Or even then, I'm not even sure if that would
- 11:04Speaker 1: constitute as accidental, because it's intentional. You meant to say it,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you just may have not meant to say it in
- 11:12Speaker 1: that company. Because if you're in your car by yourself
- 11:17Speaker 1: and you're wrapping along to Cyprus Hill might say it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You might use the word, but if you're doing that
- 11:27Speaker 1: song in karaoke, you may want to go, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 1: as the word comes out granted. Also, I think on
- 11:35Speaker 1: the karaoke version of the lyrics, the N words not
- 11:38Speaker 1: included in that, So if you use it in karaoke,
- 11:42Speaker 1: that is hyper intentional.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I have found that ninja is a good replacement.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That's even that's worth sands and too close to a
- 11:52Speaker 2: line for me. Yeah, but you're talking about you know,
- 11:55Speaker 2: if you're singing along to a song the epitome of
- 11:58Speaker 2: not like us, that would be it.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Uh and using much like a ninja, tiptoeing around the
- 12:07Speaker 1: N word. Yeah, using the word ninja still dangerous territory.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's maybe maybe, And when you're trying to replace a
- 12:21Speaker 1: song lyric, I guess you might go that rot a
- 12:23Speaker 1: little bit. Be in general, I just I just avoid
- 12:27Speaker 1: karaoke altogether so that way I don't worry about using
- 12:31Speaker 1: the wrong word.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Ever.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I asked Tony Rock one time, because he would introduce
- 12:38Speaker 3: me as you know, this is my use the N word.
- 12:41Speaker 1: J Oh yeah, Tony Rock, Chris Rock's brother, also a comedian.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Yeah, And I asked him. I was like, I was like,
- 12:48Speaker 3: can I say it back? And he's like yeah. I
- 12:52Speaker 3: was like what He's like, yeah, you can use the word,
- 12:56Speaker 3: And I was like are you serious? He's like, if
- 12:57Speaker 3: the Klan busted in right now. I was like, we're
- 13:00Speaker 3: taking every in here. He's like, you think you're gonna stay.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I don't think they're to give you a fresh.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But he's like, you can use it. I was like, okay,
- 13:12Speaker 3: that's and if Tony Rock says it, if it's Tony
- 13:16Speaker 3: Rock approved, I'm okay with it. I don't use it,
- 13:19Speaker 3: but I do have the pass mm hmmm from one
- 13:25Speaker 3: of the Rocks, so I'm okay with it.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Did he get it in writing?
- 13:29Speaker 3: He said he would do it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean.
- 13:33Speaker 9: Yeah, I would take your exactly at least at least
- 13:39Speaker 9: a business card with Tony Rock's contact info on it
- 13:43Speaker 9: so people can then verify that he's given you approval.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Laminated, just just for your safety.
- 13:53Speaker 4: On a lanyard.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't want that to be wet with a
- 13:58Speaker 1: cure code, aren't there and they just scan it.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Let me just make sure right here.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Uh on the back of just this, please see Tony Ruck.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to make sure Raj that if a
- 14:12Speaker 1: if a black man gives you approval to use the
- 14:15Speaker 1: in word in some context, like Trey said, get it
- 14:19Speaker 1: laminated because just in case you go swimming, you want
- 14:22Speaker 1: to make sure that it floats, it doesn't get damaged.
- 14:30Speaker 3: What do you mean, Dan, I don't think you realize
- 14:33Speaker 3: how racist that was.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But I don't say something.
- 14:48Speaker 3: No, it's okay.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Are you sure?
- 14:52Speaker 3: No, Din, I say something?
- 14:55Speaker 1: I like I said something something?
- 15:03Speaker 2: What did I say?
- 15:06Speaker 5: You're in the tree House. Listen us online.

- 15:53Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Madley along with
- 15:56Speaker 1: Trade Trenholme, Rod Sharm and Jerry Caldwell. Today is Friday,
- 16:00Speaker 1: April eighteenth, two thousand twenty five. A tourist couple we're
- 16:08Speaker 1: caught having sex in the middle of the street in Thailand. Hm,
- 16:14Speaker 1: what country do you think they're from? Oh? Hang on,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I believe I got music that can go with this. Nope,
- 16:22Speaker 1: that's not it. Nope, still not it. That's not it either.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Hang on and we try this that'll work. Okay, here
- 16:31Speaker 1: we go. A tourist couple was caught having sex in
- 16:37Speaker 1: the middle of the street in Thailand. What country do
- 16:41Speaker 1: you think they're from? Australia, America or China? Trey, let's
- 16:50Speaker 1: start with you. A tourist couple was caught having sex
- 16:54Speaker 1: in the middle of the street in Thailand. What country
- 16:56Speaker 1: do you think they're from? Australia, America or China.
- 17:01Speaker 2: That's a tough.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Jerry.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Go ahead and write your answers down for me so
- 17:08Speaker 1: we don't overlap too much. Okay, Trey, what's your answer?
- 17:13Speaker 2: Dirty?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Aussie's dirty Ausies Raj I'm gonna go Australia.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Jerry, I too, I'm going on Australia.
- 17:23Speaker 1: All three of you are wrong. A Chinese couple has
- 17:29Speaker 1: been arrested for getting it on in the middle of
- 17:31Speaker 1: a street in Thailand. Are you not shocked and surprised
- 17:34Speaker 1: not at the act, but by the fact that they
- 17:36Speaker 1: were from China and not America?
- 17:38Speaker 4: Hey man, there's freaky people in every country.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and while true, given those three options, Australia, America
- 17:48Speaker 1: or China, obviously China would have been the last guess
- 17:52Speaker 1: for all of you. Yes, and I had a feeling
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Australian option was gonna get you guys tripped up,
- 17:59Speaker 1: and it did. Uh, this Chinese couple did not get
- 18:02Speaker 1: tripped up. They were doing this very much intentionally. They
- 18:06Speaker 1: were arrested for getting it on in the middle of
- 18:08Speaker 1: a street in Thailand. But again the headline reads tourist
- 18:14Speaker 1: couple caught having sex in the middle of the street
- 18:18Speaker 1: in Thailand. If you're getting it on in the middle
- 18:20Speaker 1: of the street, you shouldn't say they were caught. Caught
- 18:24Speaker 1: implies some type of search or investigation not on display
- 18:29Speaker 1: for everybody to see.
- 18:31Speaker 3: And I've been I've been to Thailand. There's not a
- 18:35Speaker 3: lot that they that they restrict, so that's a pretty
- 18:41Speaker 3: big deal.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I mean, I guess, you know, every country has a
- 18:46Speaker 1: line that you're not supposed to cross, and in Thailand,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I guess that line is on the street. Like they
- 18:53Speaker 1: probably could have just gone into just about any building
- 18:57Speaker 1: and been totally.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Fine with it.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to tell you, like the same playing
- 19:03Speaker 3: place with the Ping Pong show, that's what they call it.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Maybe if they were in the crosswalk, it would have
- 19:10Speaker 2: been okay.
- 19:12Speaker 4: There you go. Yeah, yeah, you're blocking traffic, you know.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Safety first.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they were ja.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, I'm just gonna have to write you a citation.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Folks.
- 19:29Speaker 1: If you're gonna do this, you got to do it
- 19:31Speaker 1: in the crosswalk. It's just left me no choice here.
- 19:34Speaker 3: My question is with the arresting officer to like, do
- 19:38Speaker 3: you let them finish?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Well, it's Thailand, so again, I don't know.
- 19:44Speaker 3: It's like, hurry up, I have to take you to jail.
- 19:48Speaker 3: You guys, finish real quick.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And I mean in America, they're not going to let
- 19:52Speaker 1: you finish. They'll taze on site, like while you're getting it.
- 19:56Speaker 2: That's wrong.
- 19:56Speaker 1: But uh now you might finish when you get taste. Yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but that's not going to be a result of the
- 20:09Speaker 1: good feelings or the result that the officer wanted. It's like,
- 20:13Speaker 1: we're trying to get you to stop doing that. Stop it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't. I've only known casually. I don't
- 20:26Speaker 1: have any close friends other than you, Raj. You're the
- 20:28Speaker 1: only person. Raj, You're the only person I know that
- 20:31Speaker 1: is a close friend that has been to Thailand. I
- 20:38Speaker 1: think most everyone else that I know that's been. It's
- 20:44Speaker 1: when I hear about it, I make assumptions yes, Like,
- 20:49Speaker 1: if you're a single guy and you go to Thailand,
- 20:51Speaker 1: I make assumptions, Raj, were you a single guy when
- 20:54Speaker 1: you went to Thailand? Or is this a couple's trip
- 20:56Speaker 1: or a family trip?
- 20:57Speaker 3: I took my ant wife to see my father in law.
- 21:02Speaker 3: He lives in Bangkok.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Were you guys married at the time. Yes, Okay, so
- 21:07Speaker 1: you took your wife. Makes sense, it's a couple's trip. Yeah.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'll occasionally hear about some guy like, yeah, yeah it was.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It was in Thailand last month. I'm like, oh god,
- 21:17Speaker 1: what were you doing?
- 21:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean that Indians notorious from like Mumbai
- 21:23Speaker 3: and Delhi, notorious for going to Thailand single like Guid's trips,
- 21:29Speaker 3: but not.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Like Steve Martin and dan Aykroyd from the seventies Saturday
- 21:34Speaker 1: Night Live, like two wild and crazy guys. Not not
- 21:37Speaker 1: not like that.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, like that.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Silk Club shirt and everything.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Huh oh yeah, they go, they go, They go for
- 21:49Speaker 3: the ladies, and some go for the.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Ladies lady boys.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, some depends on your preference.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Let's be honest.
- 21:58Speaker 4: That's that.
- 21:58Speaker 1: That's the grand assumption that will lot of us are
- 22:00Speaker 1: making when you hear about a single dude going to
- 22:02Speaker 1: Thailand for anything like, Okay, sure business trip.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah no, there's uh that's that's a risky business trip.
- 22:11Speaker 3: That is what that is.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Or for some people, I'm sure it's like a happy meal.
- 22:16Speaker 2: You just don't know what toy you're going to get.
- 22:23Speaker 1: That is wrong on so many levels. I'm so proud
- 22:28Speaker 1: of you.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 22:29Speaker 1: That's really really good, good work, solid effort. Tray. I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: just so damn proud of you.
- 22:43Speaker 6: You're in these online on air dot com.

- 23:19Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse. I'm Dan along with Trey, Raj
- 23:23Speaker 1: and Jerry on Friday April eighteenth, twenty twenty five. Raj,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you said, when you when you and your ex wife
- 23:30Speaker 1: went to Thailand years ago, people kept coming up to
- 23:34Speaker 1: you trying to get you to go to the Ping
- 23:36Speaker 1: Pong show.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Yes, we would just be walking down the street and
- 23:39Speaker 3: they'd come out of the bars and night. Do you
- 23:41Speaker 3: want to see the ping pong show? Do you want
- 23:42Speaker 3: to see?
- 23:42Speaker 1: It?
- 23:44Speaker 3: Happened like a dozen times, and I'm like, what about me,
- 23:47Speaker 3: screams that I want to see that. I don't know
- 23:50Speaker 3: why they were just they didn't ask anybody else as
- 23:52Speaker 3: we were walking. I didn't hear them talk to anybody else.
- 23:55Speaker 2: It was just me.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm with my wife, like, we don't want
- 23:58Speaker 3: to see the ping pong show.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Maybe she wants to see.
- 24:02Speaker 3: No, no, but nobody wants to see that show.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Well, I'm I'm curious. I mean, is it is it like?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Is it a solo ping pong show? Or is this
- 24:14Speaker 1: like the Olympians and they're going back and forth? Because
- 24:18Speaker 1: that would be impressive.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Yeah, if it was more of a forced gump movement
- 24:23Speaker 3: a moment, I would have I would have probably gone.
- 24:26Speaker 3: But no, this is a solo.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Act.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I guess that's what you can call it.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Well, it would she be like going up against like
- 24:37Speaker 1: when you fold the table up for solo play. So
- 24:40Speaker 1: it's at least bouncing back.
- 24:42Speaker 3: No, it's it's getting shot at you.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Did they do this under a gigantic picture of Winona Rider?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Because if they don't, I'm not going. That's what you
- 25:01Speaker 1: should have been asking when they asked you, Raj, if
- 25:03Speaker 1: you wanted to go to the Ping Pong show, I will,
- 25:06Speaker 1: but only if they've got that picture of what a
- 25:09Speaker 1: writer and.
- 25:10Speaker 2: For those yeah, for everyone. If you don't get that joke,
- 25:13Speaker 2: google South Park movie Why not a writer?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 25:18Speaker 3: But yeah, it's a it's a really strange place. We
- 25:22Speaker 3: were just in a bar just to grab a drink,
- 25:24Speaker 3: and then people just started disappearing. I just like started going,
- 25:28Speaker 3: like you just see a guy and then a girl,
- 25:30Speaker 3: and then they were gone, and then the guy's back,
- 25:33Speaker 3: and then the girls with another guy, and then you see,
- 25:36Speaker 3: like as as you kind of like start looking around,
- 25:39Speaker 3: you can see all the rooms, and I'm like, oh,
- 25:42Speaker 3: we're not in a bar, We're in a brothel, so
- 25:47Speaker 3: we might want to leave.
- 25:49Speaker 1: The red light over your head turned on. I get it,
- 25:56Speaker 1: the I did. I did remember one other. Do you
- 26:00Speaker 1: remember another instance of people that I know that have
- 26:02Speaker 1: been to Thailand? My wife's cousin. She and her husband,
- 26:08Speaker 1: who is an actor and comedian, Ahmed Barucha, who we've
- 26:11Speaker 1: had on the show before, they went to Thailand, and
- 26:14Speaker 1: so I remember that, and I remember them talking about it.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You know, they were talking about it from a food
- 26:21Speaker 1: centric point of view. They were like, oh my god,
- 26:23Speaker 1: the food was so great, it was such a beautiful country,
- 26:26Speaker 1: blah blah blah. And so in my mind, there really
- 26:29Speaker 1: seems to only be two reasons that people go to Thailand.
- 26:32Speaker 1: One is like on some sort of food tour, and
- 26:35Speaker 1: the other is people saying they went for a food
- 26:37Speaker 1: tour and they're lying.
- 26:41Speaker 3: If they went for a ping pong tournament, then you know, I'm.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Going to have I'm going to have made some assumptions,
- 26:49Speaker 1: which the first one's going to be Trey. If you're
- 26:51Speaker 1: going to a ping punk tournament in Thailand, don't you
- 26:54Speaker 1: need a paddle?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Now they have him there, you can just rent them,
- 27:03Speaker 3: just call them hands.
- 27:07Speaker 4: So yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So now it's like anytime when I've ever heard anyone
- 27:11Speaker 1: say anything relating to Thai land, that's that's just that's
- 27:15Speaker 1: that's the stereotype, that's what I go to. And now
- 27:18Speaker 1: you got this couple from China that are getting getting
- 27:21Speaker 1: it onto the middle of the street, and it just
- 27:23Speaker 1: kind of adds to it. Maybe they were maybe that's
- 27:25Speaker 1: what it was. Maybe the Tay police said no, no, no,
- 27:28Speaker 1: not in the street. You have to go inside for
- 27:30Speaker 1: this type of stuff because if you're going to do
- 27:32Speaker 1: your own ping pong tournament, it has to be inside.
- 27:39Speaker 3: The ping pong is inside, that is correct, because.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Otherwise wind gets involved and it's just messy.
- 27:48Speaker 3: But the food is good.
- 27:58Speaker 1: The best happy meals anywhere.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I have a picture of Asian Ronald McDonald. Uh tye
- 28:05Speaker 3: Ronald McDonald is uh yeah, like reilded hands.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Oh yet I've not seen this. Hang on, let me
- 28:10Speaker 1: thumb this out.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Maybe maybe the tie have a some kind of law,
- 28:17Speaker 2: you know, you know, all sex acts in public must
- 28:21Speaker 2: at least involve half. Half the people involved have to
- 28:24Speaker 2: be you know, from Thailand.
- 28:26Speaker 1: You know, yeah, that makes sense.
- 28:30Speaker 3: It's a pay to play law.
- 28:32Speaker 2: It's kind of like their tariff system.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I'm making Thailand great again.
- 28:44Speaker 5: You're the house visit us online on air dot com.

- 29:41Speaker 1: That's Trade Trenholm. He is Roj Sharma. There is Jerry
- 29:44Speaker 1: Caldwell inside the Treehouse Show. Today is Freday, April eighteenth,
- 29:51Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays.
- 29:59Speaker 2: As a I was.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Pulling up today's birthdays, I noticed a glaring omission from
- 30:04Speaker 1: yesterday's birthdays that we missed Trey, And normally I don't
- 30:09Speaker 1: go backwards on them, but when I noticed this one,
- 30:11Speaker 1: it's one that every year it warrants a mention. So
- 30:18Speaker 1: yesterday Olivia Hussey turned seventy four. She is an actress.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Olivia Hussey turned seventy four yesterday. I wanted to make
- 30:29Speaker 1: sure that I mentioned her birthday today because she is
- 30:33Speaker 1: the star of the nineteen sixty eight movie version of
- 30:37Speaker 1: Romeo and Juliet, where she played Juliet. I believe all
- 30:43Speaker 1: of us inside the Treehouse are of the age to
- 30:46Speaker 1: where one day in class they rolled in the TV
- 30:51Speaker 1: with the VCR and they played for us Romeo and
- 30:55Speaker 1: Juliet the nineteen sixty eight version that was directed by
- 31:00Speaker 1: Franco Ziffarelli, and it starred Olivia Hussey and she was
- 31:07Speaker 1: topless in that movie. And she was fifteen in that movie.
- 31:14Speaker 1: This movie is very difficult to find nowadays, despite the
- 31:18Speaker 1: fact that it was part of public education curriculum throughout
- 31:21Speaker 1: all of our years of going to school. I don't
- 31:26Speaker 1: remember what year they finally realized, hey, that's bad, we
- 31:31Speaker 1: probably shouldn't show.
- 31:33Speaker 2: What is kind of childhorn.
- 31:36Speaker 1: To the kids in school, but they did. I still
- 31:40Speaker 1: remember ninth grade, and I didn't know anything about the actress.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I just knew the movie. We were reading it in class.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Here comes the TV with the VCR. We're gonna watch
- 31:49Speaker 1: a movie Romeo and Juliet. Well, then there's like two
- 31:53Speaker 1: scenes where she's topless in it, and all of a sudden,
- 31:56Speaker 1: we're all like, Okay, this is a good movie. I'm
- 31:59Speaker 1: loving Shakespeare's fantastic WHOA. Then you get a little older
- 32:03Speaker 1: and you find out she's my age in this movie.
- 32:09Speaker 1: So that got canceled. That version of the film got canceled,
- 32:13Speaker 1: and rightfully so. That being said, as a fourteen year
- 32:18Speaker 1: old watching that movie, I am forever changed. That's why
- 32:28Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure. I mentioned Olivia Hussey's birthday
- 32:32Speaker 1: was yesterday and she is seventy four. And by the way,
- 32:35Speaker 1: she has not completely distanced herself from the film. They
- 32:41Speaker 1: were doing a fiftieth anniversary tour her and her co
- 32:45Speaker 1: star going around to different films that were I guess
- 32:48Speaker 1: playing it, or at least doing talks on it. I
- 32:51Speaker 1: don't know if they're allowed to show it anymore in
- 32:52Speaker 1: public spaces, maybe just on four Chan.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I'm sure you can still show it, don't.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Wasn't like like Blue Lagoon, wasn't like Brookshield's like thirteen
- 33:06Speaker 3: or fourteen years old.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I saw that documentary with her, and you're right. I
- 33:11Speaker 1: can't remember how old she was.
- 33:13Speaker 4: But I don't think that was her they were showing.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Didn't she have a body double in that movie?
- 33:19Speaker 2: Was No?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Maybe for a couple of parts, but there were some parts.
- 33:23Speaker 4: No.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Twentieth century was wild.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Boys, it was yeh, it was a different It's a
- 33:32Speaker 3: different time.
- 33:33Speaker 1: As they say, twentieth century was a different time. Twenty
- 33:37Speaker 1: first century is very tamped down, yes, compared to the
- 33:41Speaker 1: stuff that occurred in the twentieth century.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Like even when Brookshields did the was it jordan Ash?
- 33:49Speaker 3: She did the campaign for which is like nothing gets
- 33:51Speaker 3: in between me and my jeans or whatever. She's Calvin Klein, Oh,
- 33:55Speaker 3: Calvin Klein. It was like she was fifteen or sixteen
- 33:57Speaker 3: years old.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I had Jordana got Brookshields. They might still be
- 34:01Speaker 1: a thing.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I think they are still a thing. I think you
- 34:05Speaker 3: can still get.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but if they are, it's probably just just just
- 34:07Speaker 1: out of irony, not out of actual you know.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Oh, I think Walmart carries Jordash. I'm pretty sure they.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I think so. If they do, I'm gonna go get
- 34:18Speaker 3: a pair.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I want you to.
- 34:21Speaker 4: I want you.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I want you raj to have some Jordash.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Hey man, the acid washes back.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So you know, some would argue it never went away.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You just you just gotta.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Commit, and that argument would be an Arkansas. That's what
- 34:40Speaker 3: the argument.
- 34:41Speaker 2: If you do get some Jordash, I think you need
- 34:43Speaker 2: to get some boots with the fur.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Gotta complete the love.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I'll get some ugs. I'll throw some ugs on with
- 34:55Speaker 3: my Jordash.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I do believe. I do believe Jordash uh started the
- 35:03Speaker 1: started that trend. The apple bottom jeans.
- 35:10Speaker 3: I don't have a butt, so I mean I could
- 35:13Speaker 3: go for I don't have one, or I need the
- 35:18Speaker 3: Apple box.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Maybe you and Dan can get a group rate on
- 35:23Speaker 2: a BBL.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I can't just pick on somebody else. Got all you
- 35:33Speaker 1: put me back in the barrel to the.
- 35:36Speaker 8: Visit us online that Treehouse on Air dot com.

- 36:48Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Maley along with Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and
- 36:51Speaker 1: Jerry called well it is day April eighteenth two thy
- 36:56Speaker 1: twenty five. Let me take a quick look and see
- 36:59Speaker 1: if they were actually any birthdays. Super worth mentioning today
- 37:04Speaker 1: like I missed with Olivia Hussies from yesterday. Chloe Bennett
- 37:09Speaker 1: from Agents of Shield is thirty three. Rosie Huntington Whiteley
- 37:15Speaker 1: is thirty eight. She was in the third Transformers movie
- 37:18Speaker 1: because Megan Fox was tired of being objectified by Michael
- 37:21Speaker 1: Bay and she's apparently gotten over that because she's now
- 37:26Speaker 1: reobjectifying herself now in her own terms for films, which
- 37:30Speaker 1: is I guess for her other birthdays today. America Ferrera
- 37:35Speaker 1: from Superstore and Ugly Betty is forty one. Courtney Kardashian
- 37:40Speaker 1: is forty six. She is best known as having written
- 37:44Speaker 1: in the Elevator with me once at iHeartRadio and I
- 37:47Speaker 1: didn't say anything to her.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Courtney or Chloe. Chloe's the one that did the show.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, right, yeah, it was Chloe. Chloe's the one
- 38:00Speaker 1: that's the big one.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I mean, isn't Courtney best known for the one that
- 38:03Speaker 2: dates the white guy?
- 38:06Speaker 1: H That is true. She's the one that was gone
- 38:10Speaker 1: against the grain of the entire family.
- 38:12Speaker 2: She was was Scott Dissick? Is that is?
- 38:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:18Speaker 1: And then one of them is amazing trumps.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:22Speaker 1: For us that don't like the Kardashians, we sure know
- 38:25Speaker 1: a hell of a lot about them.
- 38:27Speaker 4: You can't, I mean help it. You're noon dated by it.
- 38:32Speaker 4: One of them over everything.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Kanye lamar odom right that right there alone, You've got
- 38:42Speaker 2: just an asload of crazy. I mean, one would argue,
- 38:46Speaker 2: let's see Bruce or whatever, you know. I mean, the
- 38:51Speaker 2: men that have been run through by the Kardashian. It's
- 38:56Speaker 2: it's an epic tale of you know, falling off a cliff.
- 39:02Speaker 1: The men that have been rung through the Kardashian ringer
- 39:05Speaker 1: are shells of them former selves, Bruce becoming Caitlin h
- 39:10Speaker 1: It's something to consider. We don't know how crazy Kanye
- 39:14Speaker 1: was before being run through the Kardashian ringer. He was
- 39:19Speaker 1: pretty crazy, yeah, but things have really gotten worse.
- 39:24Speaker 4: RINGO.
- 39:27Speaker 1: You know who seems to have skated. This was Kim's
- 39:32Speaker 1: first husband, the NBA player who I can't quite remember
- 39:37Speaker 1: his names, but I know they were married for what's that.
- 39:42Speaker 2: They dated now?
- 39:42Speaker 1: They were worried for seventy two days.
- 39:44Speaker 5: It was.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I think Reggie Bush was the first husband, right, I
- 39:51Speaker 3: don't think.
- 39:51Speaker 2: They were married. I don't think they were married. God,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I can think.
- 39:56Speaker 1: And after he and after he was done dating Kim,
- 39:58Speaker 1: his NFL career never seemed to bounce back. When Kim
- 40:01Speaker 1: Kardashian hooked up with Miles Austin, former Cowboys wide Out,
- 40:06Speaker 1: his career took a turn.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I've said this on stage before. I said, the Kardashians
- 40:12Speaker 3: are like bleach. If you're black and they get on you,
- 40:16Speaker 3: they'll ruin you.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Kim Kardashian's first husband was Damon Thomas. They eloped in
- 40:26Speaker 4: two thousand when Kim Kardashian was nineteen years old.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Oh wow, Tristan, I was thinking of Chloe and Tristan Thompson.
- 40:36Speaker 2: So yeah, you're you're right. Chris Humphreys seventy two days. God,
- 40:42Speaker 2: look at said.
- 40:43Speaker 1: He was never that great in the NBA.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Hey, God, this is just I just googled Kardashian NBA players.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Let's let's Chris Humphreys, lamar Odom, Devin Booker, Tristan Thompson,
- 40:53Speaker 2: Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, James Harden, Jordan Clarkson, Kyle Kuzma,
- 40:58Speaker 2: Chandler Parsons, Rick Fox, Donovan, Mitchell Tory, Kris Luca, Don
- 41:06Speaker 2: Luca Luca.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I mean that's.
- 41:15Speaker 3: I mean, that's quite the All Star league.
- 41:18Speaker 2: A whole roster plus a couple. It is. It is.
- 41:22Speaker 1: They got more rings than Kobe and Jordan combined.
- 41:26Speaker 3: The salary cap between those women.
- 41:30Speaker 1: It's the Kardashians. There is no salary cap.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Oh good Lord.

- 41:56Speaker 1: it is at that Jerry guy. Just keep that in mind.
- 41:59Speaker 1: If you ever play in basketball and you see you
- 42:01Speaker 1: Kardashian court side, you might have a shot. But it's
- 42:06Speaker 1: kind of like making a deal with the devil. There's
- 42:09Speaker 1: a catch, and.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Those aren't championship rings rings.
- 42:22Speaker 1: We'll see you Monday, right back here inside the Treehouse.
