- 0:20Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:25Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley, along with
- 0:29Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma today his Thursday May fifteenth,
- 0:35Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, Trey, are you okay?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Not really?
- 0:49Speaker 1: I appreciate the honesty because I'm now going to be
- 0:52Speaker 1: honest with you. Your eyes look about as bloodshot as
- 0:58Speaker 1: Troy Aikman's on Good Morning America when he said the
- 1:01Speaker 1: Cowboys would win the Super Bowl this year. I have
- 1:05Speaker 1: an idea of what he was doing before his television appearance.
- 1:09Speaker 1: What have you been doing? Why are your eyes so bloodshot?
- 1:14Speaker 2: Because hang on one moment, because I've been finger in
- 1:24Speaker 2: my eyes trying to put contacts in.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I'm glad you did it that last part, because I
- 1:31Speaker 1: was just going to stop the show at eyes. I
- 1:36Speaker 1: think we could have justified a minute and a half show.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I really do think. I think when you start the
- 1:43Speaker 1: show with saying, oh, I've been fingering my eyes, what
- 1:47Speaker 1: else can you say in a day? That should be
- 1:50Speaker 1: the end of the show. Is this your first foray
- 1:54Speaker 1: into contact?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yes, it is.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You are a brave man, and by brave, I mean
- 2:01Speaker 1: stupid because this guy right here, mem I will never
- 2:07Speaker 1: wear contacts ever, never, ever, ever, never never, because I
- 2:12Speaker 1: cannot put my finger in my eye. I can't watch
- 2:16Speaker 1: other people. Stop put your finger down. I'm gonna turn
- 2:20Speaker 1: you off doing that. I will, I will, I will
- 2:25Speaker 1: turn this treehouse around.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I don't need a I don't even need a mirror
- 2:29Speaker 4: to put contacts in. I can just do it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I can't, I can't. There's I've never even tried. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: know that there's no way I would be able to
- 2:38Speaker 1: do it. So why are you making the change from
- 2:40Speaker 1: eyeglasses to contacts? Now? What's her name?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Oh, there's no no her.
- 2:47Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Obviously he's special because he's got trade to change two
- 2:53Speaker 1: things midlife.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I started having to wear prescription glasses about a
- 2:59Speaker 2: year ago. And uh, just there's sometimes, like, for instance,
- 3:04Speaker 2: going to the gym, where it would be nice because
- 3:06Speaker 2: I can't really work out in glasses, so uh and
- 3:09Speaker 2: then when I'm trying to look or read anything, I'm
- 3:11Speaker 2: squinting real bad. So I just thought it'd be nice
- 3:15Speaker 2: not to have to mess with glasses and put contacts in.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And and I might have been wrong. Glasses may have
- 3:21Speaker 2: been a much more easier efficient means to see. Because
- 3:28Speaker 2: they make prescription goggles. You can wear those to the gym.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It's not the coolest look, but if it's good for
- 3:33Speaker 1: some NBA legends, it's it's just fine for you at
- 3:37Speaker 1: at at the club.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So yeah, prescription goggles.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Prescription goggles are cool if you're like doing a tomahawk dunk,
- 3:46Speaker 4: not when you're on the step master.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't think any any white guy that had the
- 3:52Speaker 1: prescription goggles in the NBA ever did a tomahawk dunk.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Solid layups mm hmm. Yeah, but it makes you It
- 4:00Speaker 3: also makes you look younger without the glasses.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't tell if you're glowing or if you're
- 4:07Speaker 1: just really moisturized because your eyes have been watering the
- 4:11Speaker 1: entire time trying to put in the contact.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Well to this one is just because they're they're different prescriptions,
- 4:24Speaker 2: like one eye is for basically more near sighted, once
- 4:30Speaker 2: for far sighted and uh but of course, so I
- 4:32Speaker 2: got the right one in fairly easy, and then as
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm putting the left one in, I did something and
- 4:37Speaker 2: the right one fell out.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Okay, I have to ask because I've never seen contacts
- 4:44Speaker 1: up close and I didn't know that they could split
- 4:46Speaker 1: the prescription specific to each eye.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Well, it's it's basically it's like bifocals in your mind
- 4:53Speaker 2: will adjust, but one eye is geared for clearing up,
- 4:58Speaker 2: you know, things away and up close others.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Okay, so with the contact lenses, I've never seen them
- 5:07Speaker 1: up close since they can be specific to each eye.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Does one lens have an R for right and the
- 5:13Speaker 1: other a L for left that you have a difficult
- 5:15Speaker 1: time seeing because you can't have them in.
- 5:18Speaker 2: No the case, does this presented this presented a whole
- 5:22Speaker 2: other uh, you know, a little I don't know. Uh,
- 5:32Speaker 2: I don't even know what to say. But but as
- 5:34Speaker 2: as I look down and I had dropped the left eye,
- 5:37Speaker 2: and then I noticed that the other contact is laying there.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So then I had this conundrum of what I which
- 5:42Speaker 2: contact goes in which eye? And then it was just
- 5:45Speaker 2: a guessing game of well that I that one probably
- 5:49Speaker 2: fell down more over here, so it's free to be
- 5:51Speaker 2: this one. I think I was right. I'm not sure though.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You're having to break out like crime scene ballistic string
- 5:58Speaker 1: to see how the contact lens may have bounced in
- 6:01Speaker 1: relation to your physical body.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and mind you. So this is something I learned
- 6:07Speaker 2: on my first attempt at the eye doctor yesterday. Contacts
- 6:10Speaker 2: tear very easy.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Mm hm oh so.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You know you can't you really, you just you can
- 6:17Speaker 2: use your your your index finger basically and you're you're like,
- 6:20Speaker 2: it's kind of like working with jello.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Oh fun, because who doesn't want to start the day
- 6:26Speaker 1: by putting jello in their eyeball?
- 6:28Speaker 5: Uh?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Raj? How long have you worn contacts?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Thirty one years?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Do you have any pro tips for tray since this
- 6:35Speaker 1: is brand new to him?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm glad you have hardwood so you can see
- 6:40Speaker 4: them when they fall because if you're long, because they're clear,
- 6:44Speaker 4: they're like they have like a little blue tint to them.
- 6:47Speaker 4: But your doctor should have put R and L on
- 6:49Speaker 4: the K on the actual contacts because you're brand new
- 6:52Speaker 4: to them, so you know which one goes where.
- 6:56Speaker 3: But yeah, no, I.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Mean opalmologist is also just really into eye Yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Well, I mean if you keep sticking your finger in
- 7:06Speaker 4: your eye, you're gonna go back to him like.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Like that's he's getting repeat business.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And it's like now.
- 7:12Speaker 3: I have pink eye and I can't get contacts in uh.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Because you have a cat and you need to watch
- 7:19Speaker 1: out just in case Julius the cat decides to rub
- 7:22Speaker 1: his b hole all over your contact lenses.
- 7:25Speaker 4: And then cat hair like any kind of like any
- 7:28Speaker 4: kind of debris on the outside or inside of a
- 7:31Speaker 4: contact lens will ruin your day. Uh, So you have
- 7:34Speaker 4: to make sure like I just always dun't find in
- 7:38Speaker 4: the solution as well before I put it in my eye.
- 7:40Speaker 4: But it's just a time game, like I, like I said,
- 7:42Speaker 4: I can just I can do it without looking in
- 7:44Speaker 4: a mirror, and I just can take.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It out of the case and put it right my eye.
- 7:46Speaker 1: My eyes. Can you see that? My eyes are watering
- 7:49Speaker 1: just having this conversation. That's how much I can't you
- 7:52Speaker 1: get your fingers out of your eye. Raj, stop it.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You look like it. I don't want to say it.
- 7:58Speaker 2: You would. You'd really hate watching me try to take
- 8:02Speaker 2: these things out.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that's just a you gotta go in and then
- 8:06Speaker 3: just slide it out.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, here's the thing. I am genuinely concerned for
- 8:13Speaker 1: Trey in dealing with contact lenses, because it's bad enough
- 8:18Speaker 1: that Trey has poor vision to need contact lenses, but
- 8:22Speaker 1: Trey also has what I refer to as shaky hands syndrome.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Mm hmm, not really not anymore.
- 8:31Speaker 1: All that right, I guess because your hands your hands
- 8:34Speaker 1: stabled out after you quit drinking. Yeah, okay, well at
- 8:38Speaker 1: least you got that going for you.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah, but then you can also get like an You
- 8:44Speaker 4: also get an overabundance of adrenaline, and then you're really
- 8:47Speaker 4: finger banging your.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Eye anger, not adrenaline anger.
- 8:58Speaker 6: You're listening to the tree House visits online, that Treehouse
- 9:02Speaker 6: on air dot com.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Eight three to three cookdift W. That's the phone number
- 9:08Speaker 1: you will want to call Daniel Cook and get your
- 9:11Speaker 1: free roof inspection from cookdft W Roofing and Restoration. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 1: going to go out on a limb here, Daniel, and
- 9:18Speaker 1: assume you've never stood outside during a hailstorm.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Dan, I'd be lying if I said no, all right.
- 9:28Speaker 1: This commercial took a turn. You're weird. H Most sensible
- 9:32Speaker 1: people don't go outside during a hailstorm because it's dangerous.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Your roof doesn't get that option. It's out there all
- 9:41Speaker 1: the time taking the beating. That's why it's so important
- 9:46Speaker 1: to make sure an expert takes a look at it
- 9:49Speaker 1: to see what kind of damage might have been done.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Right, absolutely, I mean he be shocked. I mean, now,
- 9:55Speaker 7: we get a lot of small hillstorms through here and
- 9:57Speaker 7: the one I actually there's a couple. Now, there's a
- 10:00Speaker 7: couple of hell storms I go out into and they
- 10:02Speaker 7: hurt in a couple of but I have a hard
- 10:05Speaker 7: hat in my truck, and so usually I've worn a
- 10:08Speaker 7: hard hat and we've gone out to it and it's
- 10:11Speaker 7: kind of fun to see the big wind and blow
- 10:13Speaker 7: you around and the hell hitting.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I mean, it.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Hurts, it pelts you you. It depends on the wind velocity.
- 10:18Speaker 7: But yeah, so yeah, you definitely want us to come
- 10:20Speaker 7: out and check. Not all hell damages your home. That's
- 10:24Speaker 7: that's something a lot of people have a you know,
- 10:26Speaker 7: a wrong misconception on. Just because you have a hell
- 10:29Speaker 7: event at your house doesn't mean you have to damage,
- 10:31Speaker 7: you know. And sometimes people think they had a small
- 10:33Speaker 7: hell and actually the hell came down to eighty mile
- 10:35Speaker 7: hour winds, but it's still hurt the property. So there's
- 10:38Speaker 7: a combination of different things, different factors. Just call us out,
- 10:42Speaker 7: don't don't don't try to figure it out yourself. We
- 10:44Speaker 7: come out again. We're going to show you what's wrong.
- 10:46Speaker 7: If there's something wrong, I don't recommend playing in hell
- 10:49Speaker 7: for everybody. Only they experienced folks like us.

- 11:42Speaker 1: I'm Danil Malling along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma.
- 11:45Speaker 1: My eyes are just now starting to dry up a
- 11:47Speaker 1: little bit after discussing Trey's first day wearing contact lenses
- 11:53Speaker 1: and what adventures those are going to hold for all
- 11:56Speaker 1: of us. Speaking of adventures, we're only a week in
- 12:03Speaker 1: to the new Pope, and since the Pope is American,
- 12:06Speaker 1: that means we're only one week into having ruined the Pope.
- 12:11Speaker 1: As Americans. It feels like we did it within just
- 12:14Speaker 1: a couple of days, and I have to say, go us.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm really impressed at an American level for having ruined
- 12:24Speaker 1: such a sacred institution in a matter of days. Good
- 12:27Speaker 1: for us, Good job everyone. Yay Trey, you're looking at
- 12:30Speaker 1: me inquisitively. I'm not sure if that's because you're questioning
- 12:33Speaker 1: my thoughts or if because you're looking for a contact lens.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But some of the first stuff we started analyzing with
- 12:41Speaker 1: the new Pope, once we learned that he was American,
- 12:45Speaker 1: we started analyzing everything American about him. We learned he's
- 12:49Speaker 1: from Chicago, so then immediately people wanted to know was
- 12:52Speaker 1: he a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan, raj
- 12:55Speaker 1: socks Socks fan. Then people wanted to know, Okay, he's
- 12:58Speaker 1: from Chicago, so obviously a deep dish guy. That might
- 13:01Speaker 1: still be some controversy if he was to come out
- 13:03Speaker 1: and be pro Thin Slice or pro New York or
- 13:06Speaker 1: anti deep Dish entirely because obviously he lives in Italy
- 13:10Speaker 1: now and that might throw into question the deep dish
- 13:13Speaker 1: nature of the Pope. But then also, Trey, you sent
- 13:16Speaker 1: me this. We also managed in under a week to
- 13:20Speaker 1: get a trading card for the new Pope. I don't
- 13:23Speaker 1: even know if we ever had one for any of
- 13:25Speaker 1: the previous popes, but because this one's American, we got
- 13:28Speaker 1: one and it's doing really well. According to Tops, the
- 13:35Speaker 1: New York City based leading baseball trading card company, they
- 13:39Speaker 1: released a non sports card dedicated to the first US
- 13:42Speaker 1: born pope, and it's already breaking records. As reported by
- 13:46Speaker 1: The New York Times, it's sold over one hundred and
- 13:48Speaker 1: thirty thousand copies, making it the best selling non sports
- 13:52Speaker 1: Tops now card. But even in the realm of sports,
- 13:55Speaker 1: it's dethroned legendary basketball player Lebron James career Points commemoration card,
- 14:02Speaker 1: as well as Lionel Messi, Steph Curry's twenty twenty four card,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and John Cena's solo WWE card. So good on you, Leo.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Hmm interesting. I mean, I'm gonna have to get my
- 14:20Speaker 3: hands on one of these things.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Do you guys feel like the Catholic Church might be
- 14:24Speaker 1: regretting their choice for the first ever American pope, Because
- 14:28Speaker 1: I would It wouldn't surprise.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Me, Oh, I bet JP two had his own card,
- 14:36Speaker 2: you think so? Yeah? I mean he was there for
- 14:41Speaker 2: almost thirty years. He had to at a card. I
- 14:43Speaker 2: mean yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I think like, you know, you get like a commemorative
- 14:47Speaker 1: card after so many souls saved, sort of like how
- 14:50Speaker 1: many points you've scored in a career if you're a
- 14:52Speaker 1: basketball player.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I just I just like to think of him, you know,
- 14:56Speaker 2: like in a batting stance with the big pope hat
- 14:58Speaker 2: and a cross instead of a bat.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm just curious about the value. Does the pope rookie
- 15:05Speaker 1: card hold up in value the same way the Barry
- 15:07Speaker 1: Bond's rookie card may have, or like Barry Bonds, can
- 15:13Speaker 1: it depreciate if bad things happen later in life?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Did his head crow during the papacy?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Did he need new pulp hats for ope enhancing drugs?
- 15:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:29Speaker 1: So the other thing that comes up, I would assume
- 15:32Speaker 1: with every pope on record is their past relationships. And
- 15:39Speaker 1: because this pope is American, I've already learned of one,
- 15:43Speaker 1: especially because we live in the age of social media.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Are you guys familiar with the I'm so hungry I
- 15:49Speaker 1: could eat blank trend? No, I really wasn't either. I
- 15:57Speaker 1: had to look this up. So a family was playing
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm so hungry I could eat. And what you're supposed
- 16:02Speaker 1: to do this new TikTok trend is you go through
- 16:04Speaker 1: you go through somebody's phone and you select a random
- 16:08Speaker 1: contact name. Okay, so we would then, so like if
- 16:13Speaker 1: I was, if Trey and I were hanging out, the
- 16:15Speaker 1: idea is out of nowhere. I tell Trey, I'm so
- 16:19Speaker 1: hungry I could eat, Raj Sharma. That's supposed to be
- 16:23Speaker 1: the gag and you and I'm supposed to record Trey's
- 16:26Speaker 1: reaction to it because it's so weird and random. It's
- 16:29Speaker 1: not particularly great, but it's a trend. So someone was
- 16:33Speaker 1: doing that recently with their mom who's from Chicago. They
- 16:37Speaker 1: went through her phone and found the name Bob pre
- 16:40Speaker 1: Votes in it.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So the kids decided, well, we'll play this game, and
- 16:46Speaker 1: then they it got weird because that's when they realized
- 16:51Speaker 1: their mom had the pope's name in her contacts from
- 16:57Speaker 1: years and years ago. I don't know how, but that's
- 17:01Speaker 1: what it was. So in gen z fashion, they they
- 17:07Speaker 1: recorded it. So this was the family's reaction when they
- 17:10Speaker 1: realized that it looks like mom knew the pope back
- 17:13Speaker 1: in the day.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Okay, it's Bob. It's Bob.
- 17:26Speaker 1: The church. Do you guys catch that? They they realized
- 17:34Speaker 1: somehow by playing this game that their mom had hooked
- 17:38Speaker 1: up with the pope back when when they were nineteen.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So mom had a situationship with Bob, and Bob became
- 17:47Speaker 1: the Pope m less than a week. We've ruined the papacy.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Hey, Dan, yes, sir, say the sentence, I'm so hungry
- 17:59Speaker 2: I could eat.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so hungry I could eat Rod Sharma.
- 18:05Speaker 2: No, that's there.
- 18:06Speaker 1: There you go, I'm so hungry, I could eat Russ Martin.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You're gonna you're gonna have to get some liquid to
- 18:18Speaker 1: uh rehydrate him. It's gonna be gonna be a little
- 18:24Speaker 1: grainy from the cremation. So yeah, that's the idea. You're
- 18:28Speaker 1: supposed to record someone's reaction when you say I'm so
- 18:31Speaker 1: hungry I could eat, and then you list uh someone
- 18:33Speaker 1: out of their contexts. And this family found out that
- 18:36Speaker 1: mom did the pope.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I'm sure he's not the first pope to have had
- 18:41Speaker 1: a body count, but it's the first one that I've
- 18:43Speaker 1: heard about on social media.
- 18:45Speaker 4: But like, but that also could go the other way,
- 18:47Speaker 4: like she was so bad he became celibate, like like you.
- 18:52Speaker 9: Know what, I'm good He's like, you know what, I
- 18:54Speaker 9: think I'm gonna go for Pope.

- 20:11Speaker 1: an ex or a few exes, but we learned of
- 20:13Speaker 1: the one just now. And it is fascinating because if
- 20:18Speaker 1: you're the person left in the wake of the guy,
- 20:21Speaker 1: how do you feel about that? Because ra you you
- 20:23Speaker 1: brought up a good point, like before you become a priest.
- 20:27Speaker 1: A lot of them have life experiences before becoming priests,
- 20:32Speaker 1: let alone having career goals as a priest. So it
- 20:35Speaker 1: stands to reason that if you hook up with someone
- 20:38Speaker 1: and then they run off and become a priest, it's
- 20:41Speaker 1: hard not to take that personally.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's it's like if you hook up
- 20:46Speaker 4: with a chicken she becomes a nun.
- 20:48Speaker 3: You're like, I think that was on me. Yeah, I
- 20:52Speaker 3: drove her to the Lord.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that is something as a guy, I cannot see
- 21:00Speaker 1: us bragging about, although I could see a female being
- 21:04Speaker 1: like I backed the pope back in the day. She
- 21:06Speaker 1: that's that's something to be proud of as a guy,
- 21:09Speaker 1: going to go around to your buddies and go, yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: after me, she became a nun.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's it's kind of the same thing, like
- 21:15Speaker 4: he became the greatest nun, Like he became the most power.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Like she's like, you know, I hooked up with the pope.
- 21:22Speaker 4: What happened afterwards? He became a monk, he became a priest.
- 21:29Speaker 1: The sex was so bad he decided to join the clergy.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Yeah, like he comes home like after hooking up with
- 21:34Speaker 4: this lady. His roommates sitting there like, sow, how was it.
- 21:37Speaker 4: It's like, oh, I think I'm going to be a priest.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm good. I don't want anymore for life.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Or none of that. Yeah, he was Leo Thelong and
- 21:54Speaker 2: his body count was so high and he had you know,
- 21:57Speaker 2: he had to go in and to the priest to
- 22:00Speaker 2: just to keep them, keep the women at bay. He
- 22:04Speaker 2: was like, no, sorry, guys, get you had too many stalkers.
- 22:07Speaker 1: It's like, sorry, ladies, I'm committed to God. Now as
- 22:12Speaker 1: they're holding up signs Leo the Lung please don't go.
- 22:17Speaker 4: You just you just spawned a new porn character. I
- 22:20Speaker 4: promise you that there's going to be like, there's gonna
- 22:23Speaker 4: be some parody of the papacy. Where's Leo the Long
- 22:28Speaker 4: the fourteen?
- 22:30Speaker 1: Now we know what the fourteen stands for. See, I
- 22:35Speaker 1: go back to what I said originally, one weekend and
- 22:38Speaker 1: the first American pope we have ruined it. Speaking of
- 22:44Speaker 1: body counts, there is actually new new research based on
- 22:48Speaker 1: body counts, not for people that join the clergy, but
- 22:51Speaker 1: just in general. So think about your body count, which
- 22:55Speaker 1: is the new slang for how many sexual partners you
- 22:59Speaker 1: have had, and listen to this. A news study claims
- 23:03Speaker 1: to have found the sweet spot for the ideal number
- 23:07Speaker 1: of sexual partners and it's going to shock some For men,
- 23:12Speaker 1: the magic number, the ideal number for sexual partners is
- 23:17Speaker 1: What do you think, Raj, what do you think the
- 23:18Speaker 1: ideal number of sexual partners for.
- 23:20Speaker 2: A man is?
- 23:24Speaker 4: Does it give an age range or just in general
- 23:27Speaker 4: in general?
- 23:29Speaker 3: Fifteen to twenty?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Trey, what about you? What do you think the ideal
- 23:36Speaker 1: number of sexual partners is for a man? Ten? Four
- 23:45Speaker 1: to five? Oh wow, sorry, it's the wrong button, but
- 23:52Speaker 1: there is. That's it?
- 23:56Speaker 3: Okay, Ma, four to five? So he's a late bloomer
- 23:58Speaker 3: and didn't go to Texas State, got it?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah. According to a new study for men, the magic
- 24:04Speaker 1: number for ideal sexual partners was about four to five lifetime,
- 24:10Speaker 1: with two or three of those being casual and the
- 24:13Speaker 1: age of the first sexual encounter being between eighteen and twenty.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Not really sure why that plays in, but it's there now.
- 24:19Speaker 1: For women, the ideal was lower, so the double standard
- 24:25Speaker 1: still applies even though it's the twenty first century. For women,
- 24:28Speaker 1: the ideal number of sexual partners over a lifetime is
- 24:32Speaker 1: two to three, with one or two casual ones thrown in.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Are you ready for the.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Rub I've been for a while, they are, yeah, exactly.
- 24:45Speaker 1: This study was focused on the perceptions of twenty five year.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Old Okay, so up to the age of twenty five, so.
- 24:53Speaker 1: They all they did in this study. They only asked
- 24:57Speaker 1: twenty five year olds. Why. I don't know, unless they
- 25:00Speaker 1: feel like we haven't made fun of gen Z enough lately.
- 25:02Speaker 1: They wanted us to dog pile.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Well, maybe like monogamy is vintage to them.
- 25:10Speaker 3: That's like a vintage ideal. I don't know.
- 25:13Speaker 1: They love all things vintage, that's the thing that is true.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But I don't think monogamy is necessarily vintage.
- 25:23Speaker 2: But they asked, hey, what's the skivity body count?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I would still assume that the amount of riz
- 25:31Speaker 1: you have is based on how many people have been
- 25:34Speaker 1: with I would think that first. Then again, I don't
- 25:36Speaker 1: know if we're actually been using those two words properly.
- 25:39Speaker 1: But since The study was focused on the perceptions of
- 25:43Speaker 1: twenty five year olds. I feel like they should ask
- 25:44Speaker 1: these people again every ten years and then see how
- 25:48Speaker 1: their answers change.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Or not or just don't ask him anything ever again.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna know what I'm with Tray on that one.

- 26:58Speaker 1: there is RAJ Trey. Thank you. Thank you not only
- 27:03Speaker 1: for switching to contacts today and giving us content, but
- 27:07Speaker 1: also thank you for emailing me my second favorite obituary
- 27:12Speaker 1: of the week. It is time we say goodbye and
- 27:21Speaker 1: rest in peace to Gary H. Wolfeldt. Oh, I know
- 27:26Speaker 1: it's very sad. Gary Wolfitt his obituary. Hello, I'm Gary.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It's a hell of a start.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Oh.
- 27:44Speaker 1: The obituary of Gary Wolfeldt. Hello, I am Gary. I'm
- 27:49Speaker 1: completely dead now. I am surprised that it took this
- 27:52Speaker 1: long to happen. I had several close calls throughout my lifetime.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I guess that I was just lucky that something didn't
- 27:59Speaker 1: get me long before or now. I had a long
- 28:01Speaker 1: series of events and mishaps that, looking back, should have
- 28:04Speaker 1: killed me long ago. Sometime during my grade school years,
- 28:08Speaker 1: while I was the second basement on the most losing
- 28:11Speaker 1: team in Little League Baseball history over twenty I lost
- 28:15Speaker 1: sight of a fly ball in the sun and got
- 28:17Speaker 1: beamed right on the forehead. I guess that explains a
- 28:20Speaker 1: lot later in life, now that I think about it.
- 28:22Speaker 1: In my twenties, my sister's horse kicked me real hard
- 28:25Speaker 1: right in the gut. Any higher in my heart probably
- 28:28Speaker 1: would have stopped any lower, and I probably would have
- 28:31Speaker 1: been singing soprano for the rest of my life. In
- 28:34Speaker 1: my thirties, I got hit by a car when I
- 28:36Speaker 1: was When I was crossing the street. It was my
- 28:40Speaker 1: fault as I was crossing against the light. It really
- 28:43Speaker 1: knocked me that the hell bent for election. I don't
- 28:45Speaker 1: know what that means, but I got up and brushed
- 28:47Speaker 1: it off and went home with a torn up coat
- 28:48Speaker 1: and kind of sore lucky meat. In my forties, I
- 28:52Speaker 1: was in the process of tearing down an old, dilapidated
- 28:54Speaker 1: building and was inside tying off a cable when the
- 28:56Speaker 1: building came crashing down around me, and a large brick
- 29:00Speaker 1: chimney just missed falling on me by about ten feet.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I feel the need to pause Gary's obituary here to
- 29:07Speaker 1: point out this is as far as I have read.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Everything from this point forward is new information to me.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So we're all going to experience this together. All right,
- 29:16Speaker 1: here we go. By now I'm beginning to think that
- 29:20Speaker 1: there must not be any more room in heaven or
- 29:22Speaker 1: hell for me, and so I was just stuck in
- 29:25Speaker 1: purgatory for a while longer. In my fifties, I got
- 29:29Speaker 1: knocked down nineteen stairs at my office by a couple
- 29:32Speaker 1: of one hundred pounds concrete lined safe What's landed on
- 29:36Speaker 1: top of me and pin me to the floor. That
- 29:38Speaker 1: one was the worst. Gary says, I didn't get any
- 29:41Speaker 1: body parts broken and no internal injuries, but I couldn't
- 29:44Speaker 1: even pick up my own feet to get into bed
- 29:46Speaker 1: for about a week, Thank goodness for painkilling drugs. And
- 29:50Speaker 1: then in my sixties, I fell backwards off of a
- 29:52Speaker 1: scaffold from ten feet up and cracked my head on
- 29:54Speaker 1: the concrete floor. But that one turned out to be
- 29:58Speaker 1: a fortunate fall because it forced me to go to
- 30:00Speaker 1: the doctor who I hadn't seen in three years, and
- 30:02Speaker 1: while I was there, he determined I had prostate cancer
- 30:05Speaker 1: early enough to be treated. I just dodged another bullet.
- 30:09Speaker 1: But then in my early seventies that treatment failed and
- 30:11Speaker 1: I have to have my prostate surgically removed. The surgery
- 30:14Speaker 1: went well, but then I developed an internal leak that
- 30:16Speaker 1: nearly killed me. Geez, one more close call late in life.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I cannot tell you here what sort of event actually
- 30:23Speaker 1: killed me, as I wrote this obituary before I was
- 30:26Speaker 1: completely dead. Someone else will have to fill in the
- 30:28Speaker 1: details later on. I guess I really hate paying the
- 30:31Speaker 1: journal and courier a lot of money just to let
- 30:33Speaker 1: people who might be looking for me no, they can
- 30:37Speaker 1: give up now. The chances are pretty good that you
- 30:41Speaker 1: were not in my will anyway, So I'll try to
- 30:43Speaker 1: keep the rest of this obituary as short as possible.
- 30:46Speaker 1: First off, I'd like to apologize to anyone who I
- 30:48Speaker 1: might have offended or mistreated, especially a Noma Hargis in
- 30:51Speaker 1: the sixth grade. The truth is is that I was
- 30:56Speaker 1: far from a perfect human, although I did try to
- 30:58Speaker 1: learn from my mistakes and shortcomings up as I grew older.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I barely made it out of high school and I
- 31:02Speaker 1: couldn't pass the math classes at Purdue University, maybe due
- 31:05Speaker 1: to the baseball accident. So I've been wandering around for
- 31:08Speaker 1: a long time without much of a formal education, although
- 31:10Speaker 1: I did read quite a few books and news articles
- 31:13Speaker 1: through the years, so I didn't die completely stupid. Although
- 31:16Speaker 1: some may not agree, Tray, should I keep going?
- 31:23Speaker 2: I mean, I think that's about the the wife. The
- 31:28Speaker 2: wife adds a little bit at the end, but uh oh,
- 31:32Speaker 2: it's a really just a succinct recap, gotcha. But there's
- 31:40Speaker 2: something to this, such as I think I'm gonna do this.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna go this route.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You're gonna write your own obituary?
- 31:49Speaker 3: Uh huh oh.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Thank god. That takes a lot of pressure off of me.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Do you know how you're gonna start? Is it going
- 31:59Speaker 1: to be an beginning the way that Gary did his Hello?
- 32:04Speaker 1: I am Gary? Are you gonna go with Hello? I
- 32:06Speaker 1: am Trey?
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go Hello, this is Trey. I'm dead.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Here are lessons not to do in your life? Then
- 32:16Speaker 2: I'll start from there.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Shouldn't it be? And this could just be the grammar.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Shouldn't be Hello? I was Gary.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Because he's dead.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Well he wasn't when he wrote it.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know, Gary.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Gary will live forever in our hearts and in this obituary.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I just like that Tray's obituary. I like the fact
- 32:44Speaker 1: that not only are you going to write your own obituary, Tray,
- 32:47Speaker 1: but that you're gonna go out telling everyone what they
- 32:49Speaker 1: should do with their lives.
- 32:50Speaker 2: No, I'm just gonna tell them use my life as
- 32:53Speaker 2: an example of what not to do.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I actually thought you were gonna start yours with Hello.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Well it's I'm still workshopping it. Say you know you
- 33:04Speaker 2: never know.
- 33:11Speaker 10: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 34:09Speaker 5: I'm doing well. How about you?
- 34:10Speaker 1: We're doing great. So I believe you guys have a
- 34:13Speaker 1: fun event coming up that benefits Pause in the City.
- 34:17Speaker 5: We do so is this Sunday. It's Pause Cuts and Carabas.
- 34:23Speaker 5: So it's going to be in the East Plainal location
- 34:26Speaker 5: that's thirty four hundred Nor Central Expressway. We're going to
- 34:29Speaker 5: be there from one to five. And what we're doing
- 34:33Speaker 5: is there's some diamond specials, We've got a silent auction.
- 34:36Speaker 5: We've got to meet and greet with some of our
- 34:38Speaker 5: foster pups and then We're also doing free haircuts for
- 34:41Speaker 5: kiddos and then if you would like, we can do
- 34:45Speaker 5: some wash out color.
- 34:48Speaker 3: So we are looking forward to that on the kids.
- 34:52Speaker 5: On the kids, ye, well, I mean the other thing is,
- 34:57Speaker 5: you know, I know y'all are always looking for good
- 34:58Speaker 5: causes to support. Don't want to forget to mention, uh
- 35:02Speaker 5: Indian giving benefiting Rajcharma. Uh, you know, don't forget our efforts.
- 35:11Speaker 5: And maybe the folks that Carabas can give you a
- 35:13Speaker 5: haircut too.
- 35:16Speaker 3: What do I need a haircut?
- 35:18Speaker 1: I go to a gift of shoving Raj in a
- 35:21Speaker 1: crate for the afternoon, just see if he gets an.
- 35:25Speaker 3: The worst meet and greet ever.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Raj on a leash at an Italian restaurant in Plano.
- 35:31Speaker 1: That doesn't sound like a bad Saturday afternoon, Raj. I've
- 35:33Speaker 1: seen You've seen you in way worse.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Situation solid Saturday night downtown.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Well, this is just a Saturday afternoon in Plano. All right,
- 35:45Speaker 1: So you said this is this is? This is at
- 35:47Speaker 1: the Carabas on Sunday. Sorry, this is at the Crabas
- 35:50Speaker 1: Sunday one to five. Uh, you have an event benefiting
- 35:53Speaker 1: pause in the city. What was it called?
- 35:55Speaker 5: Again Pause Cuts and Carabas.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Pause Cuts and Carabas. So you can get haircuts for
- 36:01Speaker 1: the kids. So don't bring your dog for a haircut
- 36:04Speaker 1: and a blowout.
- 36:07Speaker 5: I mean you can try.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Okay there you heard it.
- 36:13Speaker 7: A thriller.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But well when she said the color, I thought, wait,
- 36:18Speaker 1: someone's going to get their dog color and it's going
- 36:19Speaker 1: to be weird, all right. So that is a very
- 36:22Speaker 1: great Uh that's that's a great event. And Crab is
- 36:24Speaker 1: donating uh some some of their I think some of
- 36:27Speaker 1: their proceeds to Pause in the City as well. So
- 36:30Speaker 1: a great event that will happen on Sunday at the
- 36:33Speaker 1: Carabas in East Plain. Oh, very cool. More information you
- 36:36Speaker 1: can go to Pause in the City dot org.
- 36:38Speaker 5: What else you got, Klein, Well, you and I were
- 36:42Speaker 5: going to talk about your adoption story and uh, you know,
- 36:45Speaker 5: see if we can.
- 36:46Speaker 1: It was a Walmart parking lot in Oklahoma. They just
- 36:50Speaker 1: they handed me over to my people.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Handed you.
- 36:56Speaker 2: But you get returns.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I got switched. I got switched to the original
- 37:02Speaker 1: I didn't get returned.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Did they have to bring the receipt?
- 37:07Speaker 1: I don't know if they I know if there was
- 37:08Speaker 1: a paper back, then.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Was there a checker with a highlighter. That's not Dan.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Are you talking about dog adoption stuff, Kaylin? Yes, Okay,
- 37:18Speaker 1: see when you say adoption with my adoption story, I
- 37:21Speaker 1: think you mean like my actual personal adoption story, not
- 37:24Speaker 1: adopting animals. So yeah, no, that's those are totally different.
- 37:29Speaker 6: Uh.
- 37:30Speaker 1: My wife and I actually did do quite a bit
- 37:33Speaker 1: of fostering for pause in the city and Trey's holding
- 37:39Speaker 1: his foster. Did Trey with Daisy or chuah was? Did
- 37:44Speaker 1: you rescue her?
- 37:47Speaker 6: No?
- 37:48Speaker 2: She was a a friend of mine, had the litter
- 37:52Speaker 2: of puppies and honestly she was worried that her kids
- 37:55Speaker 2: were gonna step on Daisy because she was so small,
- 37:57Speaker 2: so she so I kind of adopted her from Yeah.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Well she saved you, that's for sure. But yes, Kaylyn, Yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: my wife and I did do a lot with paws
- 38:08Speaker 1: in the city. For a number of years. We fostered
- 38:12Speaker 1: I believe almost thirty almost thirty dogs that went through
- 38:20Speaker 1: our home and we were able to adopt out and Bella,
- 38:23Speaker 1: our current black and white Chihuahua, is also a rescue.
- 38:28Speaker 1: We actually fostered her. We were supposed to be fostering
- 38:30Speaker 1: her for another foster who went out of town and
- 38:32Speaker 1: then we just never gave her back. So you still
- 38:35Speaker 1: the dog, Yes, that's yeah, we stole the dog. Hopefully,
- 38:41Speaker 1: hopefully you can cancel that APB from Paws in the
- 38:44Speaker 1: City that we found still. Yeah, So if anyone is
- 38:48Speaker 1: ever curious about fostering dogs, it's a great thing to
- 38:51Speaker 1: do to give back. A lot of everything you would
- 38:56Speaker 1: need is handled by Pause in the City, medical, all
- 39:01Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. You take them to their appointments
- 39:02Speaker 1: and everything. Pause in the City handles the expenses and
- 39:05Speaker 1: everything for you. Really is a fantastic thing if especially
- 39:08Speaker 1: if you're if you're thinking you might want a dog
- 39:10Speaker 1: but you're not sure, fostering is interesting way to go.
- 39:13Speaker 1: You can get more information on it and apply at
- 39:17Speaker 1: the website Pausing Thecity dot org.

- 39:59Speaker 5: the family is looking for a way to rehome the
- 40:01Speaker 5: dog because you know, they live out of state, or
- 40:04Speaker 5: they live in an apartment it's a breathe that isn't allowed,
- 40:06Speaker 5: or you know, whatever the case may be. You know,
- 40:09Speaker 5: it's it's very helpful to have people who can take
- 40:12Speaker 5: in the dog for short periods of time sometimes.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Yeah, So lots of options if you're if you're foster curious,

- 42:31Speaker 1: speaking of things that are very exciting. In addition to
- 42:33Speaker 1: Trey trying contact lenses for the very first time today,
- 42:37Speaker 1: I mentioned earlier today that your eyes were bloodshot like
- 42:43Speaker 1: Troy Aikman's on Good Morning America. Did you guys see
- 42:46Speaker 1: what Troy Aikman said on Good Morning America recently?
- 42:50Speaker 2: I did not.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I'm going to share it with you here. I'm not
- 42:54Speaker 1: sure if you're prepared for it, but okay, So, Good
- 42:57Speaker 1: Morning America parent company is ABC Dizzy. They have Troy
- 43:01Speaker 1: Aikman and the Monday Night Football crew. What's his name,
- 43:07Speaker 1: the partner of brain farting it now?
- 43:09Speaker 3: Joe Buck?
- 43:09Speaker 1: Joe Buck. Yeah, so Joe Buck and Troy Aikman for
- 43:12Speaker 1: Monday Night Football around Good Morning America. And they're talking
- 43:15Speaker 1: about the upcoming NFL season, going over the released NFL schedules,
- 43:21Speaker 1: and they decided to At the last ten seconds, Robin
- 43:24Speaker 1: Roberts asks a huge question to Troy and Buck. So
- 43:29Speaker 1: I'll let Robin take it from here.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Here.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Mm hmmm mm hmm.
- 43:36Speaker 7: Got ten seconds left, I'm gonna say Buffalo finally wins it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Cowboys. So, on a scale of one to Trey, how
- 43:59Speaker 1: drunk does Troy Aikman look on that clip because of
- 44:02Speaker 1: those bloodshot eyes.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I would definitely give him a key for Sutherland?
- 44:12Speaker 1: Is that above a tray level?
- 44:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 44:15Speaker 1: I will say because as many times as I've as
- 44:17Speaker 1: I hung out with Trey when he was in his
- 44:19Speaker 1: drinking days, not once did Trey ever do karate outside
- 44:23Speaker 1: the bar.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, or tackle a Christmas tree.
- 44:29Speaker 1: So okay, So now we know the tray level of
- 44:31Speaker 1: drunk is at least one or two notches below key
- 44:33Speaker 1: for Sutherland? Do you take what Troy Aikman said on
- 44:37Speaker 1: Good Morning America seriously? Do you do?
- 44:38Speaker 5: You?
- 44:39Speaker 1: Do you think that he really thinks the Cowboys are
- 44:41Speaker 1: going to win the Super Bowl? Or is he just
- 44:45Speaker 1: having fun?
- 44:46Speaker 2: I think he's taking a dig at Strahan more than
- 44:49Speaker 2: anything else.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Caylan, Are you a Cowboys fan or a football fan
- 44:55Speaker 1: in general?
- 44:57Speaker 5: I just really hope you wouldn't ask me that, truly,
- 45:00Speaker 5: So I have been most of my life, and I
- 45:04Speaker 5: wouldn't be. I wouldn't call myself a fair weather fan.
- 45:07Speaker 5: I would call myself a realist.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 45:11Speaker 1: That's actually fair.
- 45:12Speaker 2: You can say they suck.
- 45:14Speaker 5: I'm oh yeah, I mean that's not a secret. I
- 45:18Speaker 5: just know that I'm gonna I'm gonna get some text
- 45:21Speaker 5: messages after this. Yeah, I quit following the Cowboys a
- 45:25Speaker 5: long time ago because I was really tired of it
- 45:28Speaker 5: ruining my Sunday when I quit bartending. And there's nothing
- 45:33Speaker 5: like the Cowboys losing like terribly Sunday after Sunday to
- 45:40Speaker 5: affect your income and people just getting jerks when they're
- 45:42Speaker 5: tabbing out of.
- 45:43Speaker 3: The bar.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Or quit showing up.
- 45:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I so I quit watching.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I quit watching, and then I quit work.
- 45:57Speaker 1: She says, it's very baby.
- 46:01Speaker 2: So basically, you took some positive steps for yourself and
- 46:05Speaker 2: quit hating yourself. So you got quit on the Cowboys
- 46:08Speaker 2: and service industry. Good on you.
- 46:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean at some point it's just masochistic.
- 46:14Speaker 1: You're right. I think I think you did the I
- 46:16Speaker 1: think you did the best thing you could for yourself.
- 46:18Speaker 1: You stopped being a Cowboys fan for your own mental
- 46:21Speaker 1: and emotional well being.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Well.
- 46:23Speaker 5: See, now the problem is is we still well, we
- 46:25Speaker 5: were still watching them because you know my my other
- 46:31Speaker 5: side of the family is from Ohio, so they're all
- 46:34Speaker 5: Ohio State fans. And then when we got Zeke, I
- 46:37Speaker 5: was forced to watch Cowboys again.
- 46:41Speaker 1: That was fine for a few years.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Yeah, for a few years.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And then and then the tips went back in the toilet.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, So since the NFL has done this slow
- 46:56Speaker 1: rollout of the NFL schedules, now they don't just real
- 47:00Speaker 1: least the whole thing anymore. Quick thoughts on the twenty
- 47:04Speaker 1: twenty five season.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Tray Cowboys probably be uh, I don't know, four and
- 47:10Speaker 2: thirteen okay, oh yeah, right and go Commanders.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Wow yeah.
- 47:19Speaker 4: I mean, if you're having as much to drink as
- 47:22Speaker 4: Troy did, I don't I don't think the uh. I
- 47:23Speaker 4: don't think the win loss matters. I just think it's
- 47:27Speaker 4: how much Johnny Walker you can get down your gullet.
- 47:32Speaker 1: And that's how we ended up with Brian Schottenheimer as
- 47:34Speaker 1: the new coach. I think Jerry took down two or
- 47:39Speaker 1: three bottles of Johnny Walker Blue and then just put
- 47:42Speaker 1: a bunch of names on a board and then closed
- 47:44Speaker 1: his eyes and threw and threw a dart at it
- 47:48Speaker 1: and it landed on him. Or maybe what he actually
- 47:52Speaker 1: did is he lined all the candidates up on a
- 47:55Speaker 1: wall themselves physically, and then closed his eyes and threw
- 47:59Speaker 1: a dart and a stuck into Brian Schottenheimer. They let
- 48:03Speaker 1: you get away with anything. When you're a cleaner.
- 48:05Speaker 3: How do you pick your head?
- 48:06Speaker 2: Coach lawn darts, I mean better than the slumber party
- 48:13Speaker 2: method he tried last time.
- 48:15Speaker 1: That's right. For all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse on
